Your initial statement in the marked solution isn't entirely true. While your new solution may accomplish your original goal, it is still possible to circumvent the original error while preserving your AuthorizationHandler logic--provided you have basic authentication scheme handlers in place, even if they are functionally skeletons.
Speaking broadly, Authentication Handlers and schemes are meant to establish + validate identity, which makes them required for Authorization Handlers/policies to function--as they run on the supposition that an identity has already been established.

In my case, the solution I'm working on provided its own implicit concept of identity, so we had no need for authentication schemes/handlers--just header tokens for authorization. For me, it had nothing to do with the code that I was using. For Azure we had to go into the settings of the App Service, on the side menu the entry "CORS". There I had to add the domain that I was requesting stuff from. Once I had that in, everything was magic.
On non-simple http requests your browser will send a "preflight" request (an OPTIONS method request) first in order to determine what the site in question considers safe information to send (see here for the cross-origin policy spec about this). One of the relevant headers that the host can set in a preflight response is Access-Control-Allow-Headers
. If any of the headers you want to send were not listed in either the spec's list of whitelisted headers or the server's preflight response, then the browser will refuse to send your request.
In your case, you're trying to send an Authorization
header, which is not considered one of the universally safe to send headers. The browser then sends a preflight request to ask the server whether it should send that header. The server is either sending an empty Access-Control-Allow-Headers
header (which is considered to mean "don't allow any extra headers") or it's sending a header which doesn't include Authorization
in its list of allowed headers. Because of this, the browser is not going to send your request and instead chooses to notify you by throwing an error.
Any Javascript workaround you find that lets you send this request anyways should be considered a bug as it is against the cross origin request policy your browser is trying to enforce for your own safety.
tl;dr - If you'd like to send Authorization
headers, your server had better be configured to allow it. Set your server up so it responds to an OPTIONS
request at that url with an Access-Control-Allow-Headers: Authorization
header.

Flyway changed the way it calculates the checksums from version 3 to version 5. You can re-calculate the checksums. Since the Flyway plugin doesn't properly read the Spring datasource properties, you have to manually specify them on the command line (or one of the other various ways Flyway accepts).

I have gone through similar error. The error was not coming earlier, but recently I reinstall my oracle db and change the instance name from 'xe' to 'orcl', but forget to change this piece of code in property file:

I'd share what I did, which works not only for Git, but MSYS/MinGW as well.
The HOME
environment variable is not normally set for Windows applications, so creating it through Windows did not affect anything else. From the Computer Properties (right-click on Computer - or whatever it is named - in Explorer, and select Properties, or Control Panel -> System and Security -> System), choose Advanced system settings

and create a new one, HOME
, and assign it wherever you like.

Scenario
I was getting SSLHandshake exceptions on devices running versions of Android earlier than Android 5.0. In my use case I also wanted to create a TrustManager to trust my client certificate.
I implemented NoSSLv3SocketFactory and NoSSLv3Factory to remove SSLv3 from my client's list of supported protocols but I could get neither of these solutions to work.
Some things I learned:

to update when starting your app.
The default Provider before 5.0+ does not disable SSLv3. Provided you have access to Google Play services it is relatively straightforward to patch Android's security Provider from your app.

Just the directory in which the source code is available and mark it as "Sources" (You can see it on the same window). The directory with source code should turn blue. Now u can import in modules residing in same directory.
I faced this exception for a long time and was not able to pinpoint the problem. The exception says line 1 column 9. The mistake I did is to get the first line of the file which flume is processing.
Apache flume process the content of the file in patches. So, when flume throws this exception and says line 1, it means the first line in the current patch.
If your flume agent is configured to use batch size = 100, and (for example) the file contains 400 lines, this means the exception is thrown in one of the following lines 1, 101, 201,301.
How to discover the line which causes the problem?
You have three ways to do that.
1- pull the source code and run the agent in debug mode. If you are an average developer like me and do not know how to make this, check the other two options.
2- Try to split the file based on the batch size and run the flume agent again. If you split the file into 4 files, and the invalid json exists between lines 301 and 400, the flume agent will process the first 3 files and stop at the fourth file. Take the fourth file and again split it into more smaller files. continue the process until you reach a file with only one line and flume fails while processing it.
3- Reduce the batch size of the flume agent to only one and compare the number of processed events in the output of the sink you are using. For example, in my case I am using Solr sink. The file contains 400 lines. The flume agent is configured with batch size=100. When I run the flume agent, it fails at some point and throw that exception. At this point check how many documents are ingested in Solr. If the invalid json exists at line 346, the number of documents indexed into Solr will be 345, so the next line is the line which causes the problem.
In my case I followed the third option and fortunately I pinpoint the line which causes the problem.
This is a long answer but it actually does not solve the exception. How I overcome this exception?
I have no idea why Jackson library complain while parsing a json string contains escaped characters \n \r \t
. I think (but I am not sure) the Jackson parser is by default escaping these characters which cases the json string to be split into two lines (in case of \n
) and then it deals each line as a separate json string.
In my case we used a customized interceptor to remove these characters before being processed by the flume agent. This is the way we solved this problem.

When you use @DataJpaTest you need to load classes using @Import explicitly. It wouldn't load you for auto.

Edit that .env There is .env.sample is there , try to create from that if no such .env file found.
I encountered the same problem, probably when I uninstalled it and tried to install it again.
This happens because of the database file containing login details is still stored in the pc, and the new password will not match the older one.
So you can solve this by just uninstalling mysql, and then removing the left over folder from the C:
drive (or wherever you must have installed).
In Netbeans please delete current you create the jar file and on the project explore of Netbeans please clean and build 2 or 3 times and right the project folder in project explore and build the jar file.

I believe that specifying version works only for git-endpoints. And not for folder/zip ones. As when you point bower to a js-file/folder/zip you already specified package and version (except for js indeed). Because a package has bower.json with version in it. Specifying a version in 'bower install' makes sense when you're pointing bower to a repository which can have many versions of a package. It can be only git I think.

You can remove webdav module manually from GUI for the particular in IIS.
1) Goto the IIs.

If there are two instances of MySql it's normal that it gives such an error if they both run at the same time. If you really need 2 servers, you must change the listening port of one of them, or if you don't it's probably better to simply uninstall one of them. In order to not have the Cannot recover key
exception, I had to apply the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files to the installation of Java that was running my application. Version 8 of those files can be found here or the latest version should be listed on this page. The download includes a file that explains how to apply the policy files.
Since JDK 8u151 it isn't necessary to add policy files. Instead the JCE jurisdiction policy files are controlled by a Security property called crypto.policy

It is best to make the condition (monitored by your condition variable) the inverse condition of a while-loop:

. Inside this loop, you go to sleep if your condition fails, triggering the body of the loop.

The route engine uses the same sequence as you add rules into it. Once it gets the first matched rule, it will stop checking other rules and take this to search for controller and action.
So, you should:
Put your specific rules ahead of your general rules(like default), which means use RouteTable.Routes.MapHttpRoute
to map "WithActionApi" first, then "DefaultApi".
Remove the defaults: new { id = System.Web.Http.RouteParameter.Optional }
parameter of your "WithActionApi" rule because once id is optional, url like "/api/{part1}/{part2}" will never goes into "DefaultApi".
Add an named action to your "DefaultApi" to tell the route engine which action to enter. Otherwise once you have more than one actions in your controller, the engine won't know which one to use and throws "Multiple actions were found that match the request: ...". Then to make it matches your Get method, use an ActionNameAttribute.

If you really want to avoid downloading the server's certificate, then use an anonymous protocol like Anonymous Diffie-Hellman (ADH). The server's certificate is not sent with ADH and friends.
You select an anonymous protocol with setEnabledCipherSuites
. You can see the list of cipher suites available with getEnabledCipherSuites

Related: that's why you have to call SSL_get_peer_certificate
in OpenSSL. You'll get a X509_V_OK
with an anonymous protocol, and that's how you check to see if a certificate was used in the exchange.
But as Bruno and Stephed C stated, its a bad idea to avoid the checks or use an anonymous protocol.

The rub is, you need to be pre-provisioned in the system because TLS-PSK is Pres-shared Secret and TLS-SRP is Secure Remote Password. The authentication is mutual rather than server only.
In this case, the mutual authentication is provided by a property that both parties know the shared secret and arrive at the same premaster secret; or one (or both) does not and channel setup fails. Each party proves knowledge of the secret is the "mutual" part.
Finally, TLS-PSK or TLS-SRP don't do dumb things, like cough up the user's password like in a web app using HTTP (or over HTTPS). That's why I said each party proves knowledge of the secret...
I was experiencing the same issue.. I already had 4 controllers going and working just fine but when I added this one it returned "The requested resource does not support HTTP method 'GET'". I tried everything here and in a couple other relevant articles but was indifferent to the solution since, as Dan B. mentioned in response to the answer, I already had others working fine.
I walked away for a while, came back, and immediately realized that when I added the Controller it was nested under the "Controller" class and not "ApiController" class that my other Controllers were under. I'm assuming I chose the wrong scaffolding option to build the .cs file in Visual Studio. So I included the System.Web.Http namespace, changed the parent class, and everything works without the additional attributes or routing.
This declaration:

would occupy 8 * 1000 * 1000000 bytes on a typical x86 system. This is about 7.45 GB. Chances are your system is running out of memory when trying to execute your code, which results in a segmentation fault.
The new method is:

I realize that this is almost a separate question, but I think it's worth a mention since not everyone has the money to upgrade all their devices every 3 years so many of us have some older (pre 5.0) devices. Still, as much as it pains me to say it, you need to consider if it is worth targeting below 5.0. There are many new and cool APIs not available below 5.0. And Apple is continually making it harder to target them; armv6 support is dropped from Xcode 4.5, for example.
To target below 5.0 (as long as the completion block is nil) just use the handy respondsToSelector

Firstly, no, creating a category on UIViewController
in and of itself will not get your app rejected; unless that category method called private APIs or something similar.
A category method is an exceedingly good place for such code. Also, since there would be only one call to the deprecated API, there would be only one compiler warning.
To address Full Decent's comment(question), yes you can suppress compiler warnings manually. Here is a link to an answer on SO on that very subject. A category method is also a great place to suppress a compiler warning, since you're only suppressing the warning in one place. You certainly don't want to go around silencing the compiler willy-nilly.

For Nginx, the only thing that worked for me was adding this header:

For me what happened was that I generated the app with rails new rails new chapter_2 but the RVM --default had rails 4.0.2 gem, but my chapter_2 project use a new gemset with rails 3.2.16.
So when I ran

Ok so a lot of people seem to be experiencing this issue. My problem was caused by references having paths to the bin folders of other projects, or referencing dlls from system folders. The project was about 6 years old and the previous developers had decided that this was the way they were going to reference their libraries.
The solution was to go through every reference and check the paths, then remove the reference and add it using NuGet. For any package that wasn't on NuGet I created another folder alongside packages and put the dll in there in the same layout as NuGet would.
I also had to go through the config files and make sure the correct version of the packages was being used. A long and painful process!

I solved the issue by adding https binding in my IIS websites and adding 443 SSL port and selecting a self signed certificate in binding.
Well after doing some more searching I discovered the error may be related to other issues as invalid keystores, passwords etc.
I then remembered that I had set two VM arguments for when I was testing SSL for my network connectivity.
I removed the following VM arguments to fix the problem:
-Djavax.net.ssl.keyStore=mySrvKeystore -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=123456
Note: this keystore no longer exists so that's probably why the Exception.

If you copy a new folder into the htdocs after this, you need to repeat the process for that folder to have write permission.

I like Mozzi's answer but found that it did not retain the default fonts that are user specific. The text all appeared in a system font as normal text. The code below retains the user's favourite fonts, while making it only a little longer. It is based on Mozzi's approach, uses a regular expression to replace the default body text and places the user's chosen Body text where it belongs by using GetInspector.WordEditor. I found that the call to GetInspector did not populate the HTMLbody as dimitry streblechenko says above in this thread, at least, not in Office 2010, so the object is still displayed in my code. Wireshark revealed that during the TSL/SSL Hello the warning Alert (Level: Warning, Description: Unrecognized Name), Server Hello Was being sent from the server to the client. It was only a warning, however, Java 7.1 then responded immediately back with a "Fatal, Description: Unexpected Message", which I assume means the Java SSL libraries don't like to see the warning of unrecognized name.

So assuming the MVC framework will always go through the same stack, you can grab var frame = stacks[8];

I had this problem because I configured my WCF Service to return a System.Data.DataTable.
It worked fine in my test HTML page, but blew up when I put this in my Windows Form application.
I had to go in and change the Service's Operational Contract signature from DataTable to DataSet and return the data accordingly.
If you have this problem, you may want to add an additional Operational Contract to your Service so you do not have to worry about breaking code that rely on existing Services.

It appears that IntelliJ 11 has changed the method, and the checked answer no longer works for me. In case anyone else arrives here via a search engine, here's how I solved it in IntelliJ 11:

For me the bootstrap modal was showing and disappearing when I clicked the button tag (in the markup the modal is shown and hidden using data attributes alone). In my gulpfile.js I added the bootstrap.js (which had the modal logic) and the modal.js file. So I think after the browser parses and executes both the files, two click event handlers are attached to the particular dom element (one for each of the files), so one shows the modal the other hides the modal. Hope this helps someone.

, because UNIX allows you to have paths like this.

You might want to look into a JS library called phpJS.
It allows you to use the str_replace function similarly to how you would use it in PHP. There are also plenty more php functions "ported" over to JavaScript.
One method to do this is to add:
pointer-events: none;

As others have pointed out, ideally, the foreign key would be created as a reference to a primary key (usually an IDENTITY column). However, we don't live in an ideal world, and sometimes even a "small" change to a schema can have significant ripple effects to the application logic.
Consider the case of a Customer table with a SSN column (and a dumb primary key), and a Claim table that also contains a SSN column (populated by business logic from the Customer data, but no FK exists). The design is flawed, but has been in use for several years, and three different applications have been built on the schema. It should be obvious that ripping out Claim.SSN and putting in a real PK-FK relationship would be ideal, but would also be a significant overhaul. On the other hand, putting a UNIQUE constraint on Customer.SSN, and adding a FK on Claim.SSN, could provide referential integrity, with little or no impact on the applications.

I don't see anything immediately obvious as to what would cause a segmentation fault. My only suspicion is that your code expects to get a filename as a parameter when you run it, but if you don't pass it, it will attempt to reference one, anyway.
Accessing argv[1]
when it doesn't exist would cause a segmentation fault. It's generally good practice to check the number of arguments before trying to reference them. You can do this by using the following function prototype for main()
, and checking that argc
is greater than 1 (simply, it will indicate the number entries in argv).

The best way to figure out what causes a segfault in general is to use a debugger. If you're in Visual Studio, put a breakpoint at the top of your main function and then choose Run with debugging instead of "Run without debugging" when you start the program. If you're in Linux, you can just grab the core file (it will have "core" in the name) and load that with gdb
(GNU Debugger). It can give you a stack dump which will point you straight to the line that caused the segmentation fault to occur.

I have had to overcome this same issue in Truffle. The solution was as follows:
ince Create-React-App's default behavior disallows importing files from outside of the src folder, we need to bring the contracts in our build folder inside src. We can copy and paste them every time we compile our contracts, but a better way is to simply configure Truffle to put the files there.
In the truffle-config.js file, replace the contents with the following:

I ran into this problem when trying to implement markdown using PHP.
Since the user generated links created with markdown need to open in a new tab but site links need to stay in tab I changed markdown to only generate links that open in a new tab. So not all links on the page link out, just the ones that use markdown.
In markdown I changed all the link output to be <a target='_blank' href="...">
which was easy enough using find/replace.
If you're inserting text from a database or such (which one usually do), convert all "<br />

With docker data volumes it's very easy to expose xorg's unix domain socket inside the container.
For example, with a Dockerfile like this:

This of course is essentially the same as X-forwarding. It grants the container full access to the xserver on the host, so it's only recommended if you trust what's inside.
Note: If you are concerned about security, a better solution would be to confine the app with mandatory- or role-based-access control. Docker achieves pretty good isolation, but it was designed with a different purpose in mind. Use AppArmor, SELinux, or GrSecurity, which were designed to address your concern.

I had similar issue recently. Regional settings were properly setup both in app and database server. However, execution of SQL resulted in
"The conversion of a varchar data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range value".
The problem was the default language of the db user.
To check or change it in SSMS go to Security -> Logins and right-click the username of the user that runs the queries. Select properties -> general and make sure the default language at the bottom of the dialog is what you expect.
Repeat this for all users that run queries.
The accepted answer is correct. However, I needed a little bit more clarity, so in case someone else does too:
Leaflet allows events to fire on virtually anything you do on its map, in this case a marker.
So you could create a marker as suggested by the question above:

And the one you mentioned (fraps hooking into the D3D dll's) is probably the only way for D3D applications, but won't work with Windows XP desktop capture. So now I just wish there were a fraps equivalent speed-wise for normal desktop windows...anybody?

Could this exception be thrown during an unfinished transaction, where your application is attempting to create an entity with a duplicate field to the identifier you are using to try find a single entity?
In this case the new (duplicate) entity will not be visible in the database as the transaction won't have, and will never be committed to the db. The exception will still be thrown however.
Converting to floating point and back seems like a huge waste of time at the CPU level.
Ian Nelson's solution:

AFAICS, this doesn't have the overflow bug that Brandon DuRette pointed out, and because it only uses it once, you don't need to store the recordsPerPage specially if it comes from an expensive function to fetch the value from a config file or something.
I.e. this might be inefficient, if config.fetch_value used a database lookup or something:

This thread caught my attention since it deals with a simple problem that requires a lot of work (CPU cycles) even for a modern CPU. And one day I also stood there with the same ¤#%"#" problem. I had to flip millions of bytes. However I know all my target systems are modern Intel-based so let's start optimizing to the extreme!!!
So I used Matt J's lookup code as the base. the system I'm benchmarking on is a i7 haswell 4700eq.
Matt J's lookup bitflipping 400 000 000 bytes: Around 0.272 seconds.
I then went ahead and tried to see if Intel's ISPC compiler could vectorise the arithmetics in the reverse.c.
I'm not going to bore you with my findings here since I tried a lot to help the compiler find stuff, anyhow I ended up with performance of around 0.15 seconds to bitflip 400 000 000 bytes. It's a great reduction but for my application that's still way way too slow..
So people let me present the fastest Intel based bitflipper in the world. Clocked at:

The code takes 32 bytes then masks out the nibbles. The high nibble gets shifted right by 4. Then I use vpshufb and ymm4 / ymm3 as lookup tables. I could use a single lookup table but then I would have to shift left before ORing the nibbles together again.
There are even faster ways of flipping the bits. But I'm bound to single thread and CPU so this was the fastest I could achieve. Can you make a faster version?

I had this problem...and found a workable solution.
I didn't want the select box to show until the user clicked on some plain HTML. So I overlayed the select element with opacity=.01
. Upon clicking, I changed it back to opacity=100
. This allowed me to hide the select, and when the user clicked the text the select appeared with the options showing.
This is similar to the scripts we generate on our team. Create the table first, then apply pk/fk and other constraints.

Beware of spaces in the values. I could be wrong, but I think spaces in the comma-separated list are not truncated using @Value and Spel. The list
foobar=a, b, c
would be read in as a list of strings
"a", " b", " c"
In most cases you would probably not want the spaces!
The expression

The regular expression removes all spaces just before and just after a comma. Spaces inside of the values are not removed. So

You can always create a new Eclipse workspace. The Eclipse.exe -clean
option is not sufficient in some cases, for example, if the local history becomes a problem.
Edit:
Eclipse is mostly a collection of third party plugins. And each of those plugins can add some extra useful, useless or problematic information to the central Eclipse workspace meta-data folder.
The problem is that not every plugin participates during the user-issued cleanup routine. Therefore, I'd say that it is a problem in the system design of Eclipse, that it allows plugins to misbehave like this.
And therefore, I'd recommend to make yourself comfortable with the idea of using multiple workspaces and linking-in external project entities into each workspace. Because, this is the only workaround for the given system design, to handle faulty plugins that spam your workspace.
The best solution in my opinion is add a plugin in the pom.xml, and you don't need to do anything else all the time:

Basically onSaveInstanceState(Bundle outBundle) will give you a bundle. When you look at the Bundle class, you will see that you can put lots of different stuff inside it. At the next call of onCreate(), you just get that Bundle back as an argument. Then you can read your values again and restore your activity.
Lets say you have an activity with an EditText. The user wrote some text inside it. After that the system calls your onSaveInstanceState(). You read the text from the EditText and write it into the Bundle via Bundle.putString("edit_text_value", theValue).
Now onCreate is called. You check if the supplied bundle is not null. If thats the case, you can restore your value via Bundle.getString("edit_text_value") and put it back into your EditText.
The A div can actually be made without :before
or :after

You can specify the remote’s URL by applying the UNC path to the file protocol. This requires you to use four slashes:

I wanted to ssh to a REMOTESERVER and the SSH port had been closed in my network. I found two solutions but the second is better.
To solve the problem using Ncat:

These are exactly the same. android:onClick
was added in API level 4 to make it easier, more Javascript-web-like, and drive everything from the XML. What it does internally is add an OnClickListener
on the Button, which calls your DoIt
method.

You might not want to, but your best bet is to grab the sunfreeware CD and install lsof.
Other than that, yes you can grovel around in /proc with a shell script.
Officially it's Ctrl+F11 & Ctrl+F12 or KEYPAD 7 & KEYPAD 9.
In practise it's a bit quirky.
Specifically it's Left Ctrl+F11 and Left Ctrl+F12 to switch to previous orientation and next orientation respectively.
You have to release Ctrl before you can rotate again.
KEYPAD 7 and KEYPAD 9 only work with Num Lock OFF (so they're acting as Home & PageUp rather than 7 & 9).
The only orientations are vertically upright and rotated one quarter-turn anti-clockwise.
Maybe a bit too much info for such a simple question, but it drove me half-mad finding this out.
Note: This was tested on Android SDK R16 and a very old keyboard, modern keyboards may behave differently.
You can't do a XMLHttpRequest crossdomain, the only "option" would be a technique called JSONP, which comes down to this:
To start request: Add a new <script>
tag with the remote url, and then make sure that remote url returns a valid javascript file that calls your callback function. Some services support this (and let you name your callback in a GET parameters).
The other easy way out, would be to create a "proxy" on your local server, which gets the remote request and then just "forwards" it back to your javascript.

I see jQuery has built-in support for JSONP, by checking if the URL contains "callback=?" (where jQuery will replace ? with the actual callback method). But you'd still need to process that on the remote server to generate a valid response.
To add some more advice combining the suggestions of @kingjeffrey and @CMS: You can use loop
where it is available and fall back on kingjeffrey's event handler when it isn't. There's a good reason why you want to use loop
and not write your own event handler: As discussed in the Mozilla bug report, while loop
currently doesn't loop seamlessly (without a gap) in any browser I know of, it's certainly possible and likely to become standard in the future. Your own event handler will never be seamless in any browser (since it has to pump around through the JavaScript event loop). Therefore, it's best to use loop
where possible instead of writing your own event. As CMS pointed out in a comment on Anurag's answer, you can detect support for loop

Python is a pure pass-by-value language if you think about it the right way. A python variable stores the location of an object in memory. The Python variable does not store the object itself. When you pass a variable to a function, you are passing a copy of the address of the object being pointed to by the variable.
