Have you tried somethig like this    showme display  none    showhim hover  showme display   block    hideme display block    showhim hover  hideme display none     lt div class  showhim  gt HOVER ME    lt div class  showme  gt hai lt  div gt     lt div class  hideme  gt bye lt  div gt   lt  div gt    I dont know any reason why it shouldn t be possible
