I have faced it on 04/2020. These are the options that I tried and the last solution get me through.
Problem:
Requests module works fine when I use in Spyder IDE but when I try to execute the script in windows it fails with SSL error. It works fine for HTTP requests but for HTTPS requests i got SSL error.

In this case , this code

In case you want to pass parameters you should choose the last option and you can pass parameters like this

In the last case it doesn't call immediately and don't cause the re render of the function, hence avoiding infinite calls.
Your problem is that you are naming your component class Date
. When you call new Date()
within your class, it won't create an instance of the Date
you expect it to create (which is likely this Date
)- it will try to create an instance of your component class. Then the constructor will try to create another instance, and another instance, and another instance... Until you run out of stack space and get the error you're seeing.
If you want to use Date
within your class, try naming your class something different such as Calendar
or DateComponent
.
The reason for this is how JavaScript deals with name scope: Whenever you create a new named entity, if there is already an entity with that name in scope, that name will stop referring to the previous entity and start referring to your new entity. So if you use the name Date
within a class named Date
, the name Date
will refer to that class and not to any object named Date
which existed before the class definition started.
The previous answer is pretty good, but I also wanted to mention that there is a fixed layout equivalent for grids, you just need to write minmax(0, 1fr)
instead of 1fr
as your track size.

Below are the formal definitions:
MaxFileSize: The maximum size allowed for uploaded files, in bytes. If the size of any uploaded file is greater than this size, the web container will throw an exception (IllegalStateException). The default size is unlimited.
MaxRequestSize: The maximum size allowed for a multipart/form-data request, in bytes. The web container will throw an exception if the overall size of all uploaded files exceeds this threshold. The default size is unlimited.
To explain each:
MaxFileSize: The limit for a single file to upload. This is applied for the single file limit only.
MaxRequestSize: The limit for the total size of all files in a single upload request. This checks the total limit. Let's say you have two files a.txt and b.txt for a single upload request. a.txt is 5kb and b.txt is 7kb so the MaxRequestSize
should be above 12kb.

By this error your JVM is signalling that your application is spending too much time in garbage collection. so the little amount GC was able to clean will be quickly filled again thus forcing GC to restart the cleaning process again.

This problem can be caused by requests for certain files that don't exist. For example, requests for files in wp-content/uploads/ where the file does not exist.
If this is the situation you're seeing, you can solve the problem by going to .htaccess and changing this line:

RewriteRule ^(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) - [L]
The underlying issue is that the rule above triggers a rewrite to the exact same url with a slash in front and because there was a rewrite, the newly rewritten request goes back through the rules again and the same rule is triggered. By changing that line's "$1" to "-", no rewrite happens and so the rewriting process does not start over again with the same URL.

This is probably not a good general solution to the problem. This was a good solution for my scenario, where the alternative would be major re-writes to an already existing application.
My problem was that I could no longer run an emulator that had worked because I had quit the emulator application but the process wasn't fully ended, so I was trying to launch another emulator while the previous one was still running. On a mac, I had to use the Activity Monitor to see the other process and kill it. Steps:

Google Maps actually uses signed values to represent the position:

As pointed already by @Arun P Johny the root cause of the problem is that at the moment when AuthenticationSuccessEvent
is processed SecurityContextHolder
is not populated by Authentication object. So any declarative authorization checks (that must get user rights from SecurityContextHolder
) will not work. I give you another idea how to solve this problem. There are two ways how you can run your custom code immidiately after successful authentication:
AuthenticationSuccessEvent
AuthenticationSuccessHandler

has one important advantage over first way: SecurityContextHolder
will be already populated. So just move your stateService.rowCount()

It is the underlying urllib3
library that does the retrying. To set a different maximum retry count, use alternative transport adapters:

The requests
library doesn't really make this configurable, nor does it intend to (see this pull request). Currently (requests 1.1), the retries count is set to 0. If you really want to set it to a higher value, you'll have to set this globally:

I know making all tables responsive may not sound that good, but I found it extremely useful to have this enabled up to LG on large tables (lots of columns).

Having had this exception myself, I delved into the JRE source code. It became apparent that the message is rather misleading. It could mean what it says, but it more generally means that the server doesn't have the data it needs to respond to the client in the requested way. This can happen, for example, if certificates are missing from the keystore, or haven't been generated with the an appropriate algoritm. Indeed, given the cipher suites that are installed by default, one would have to go to some lengths to really get this exception because of lack of common cipher suites. In my particular case I'd generated the certificates with the default algorithm of DSA, when what I needed to get the server to work with Firefox was RSA.

Change the customBinding in the web.config to use larger defaults. I picked 2MB as it is a reasonable size. Of course setting it to 2GB (as your code suggests) will work but it does leave you more vulnerable to attacks. Pick a size that is larger than your largest request but isn't overly large.

ORA-01000, the maximum-open-cursors error, is an extremely common error in Oracle database development. In the context of Java, it happens when the application attempts to open more ResultSets than there are configured cursors on a database instance.

This section describes some of the theory behind cursors and how JDBC should be used. If you don't need to know the background, you can skip this and go straight to 'Eliminating Leaks'.
A cursor is a resource on the database that holds the state of a query, specifically the position where a reader is in a ResultSet. Each SELECT statement has a cursor, and PL/SQL stored procedures can open and use as many cursors as they require. You can find out more about cursors on Orafaq.
A database instance typically serves several different schemas, many different users each with multiple sessions. To do this, it has a fixed number of cursors available for all schemas, users and sessions. When all cursors are open (in use) and request comes in that requires a new cursor, the request fails with an ORA-010000 error.
The number is normally configured by the DBA on installation. The number of cursors currently in use, the maximum number and the configuration can be accessed in the Administrator functions in Oracle SQL Developer. From SQL it can be set with:
ALTER SYSTEM SET OPEN_CURSORS=1337 SID='*' SCOPE=BOTH;
The JDBC objects below are tightly coupled to the following database concepts:
JDBC is thread safe: It is quite OK to pass the various JDBC objects between threads.
For example, you can create the connection in one thread; another thread can use this connection to create a PreparedStatement and a third thread can process the result set. The single major restriction is that you cannot have more than one ResultSet open on a single PreparedStatement at any time. See Does Oracle DB support multiple (parallel) operations per connection?
Note that a database commit occurs on a Connection, and so all DML (INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE's) on that connection will commit together. Therefore, if you want to support multiple transactions at the same time, you must have at least one Connection for each concurrent Transaction.

Findbugs has a plugin for Eclipse, but it also runs standalone for one-offs, has integrations into Jenkins CI and other build tools

You can add a debugging JDBC driver to your project (for debugging - don't actually deploy it). One example (I have not used it) is log4jdbc. You then need to do some simple analysis on this file to see which executes don't have a corresponding close. Counting the open and closes should highlight if there is a potential problem
Weak and soft references are ways of allowing you to reference an object in a way that allows the JVM to garbage collect the referent at any time it deems fit (assuming there are no strong reference chains to that object).
If you pass a ReferenceQueue in the constructor to the soft or weak Reference, the object is placed in the ReferenceQueue when the object is GC'ed when it occurs (if it occurs at all). With this approach, you can interact with the object's finalization and you could close or finalize the object at that moment.
Phantom references are a bit weirder; their purpose is only to control finalization, but you can never get a reference to the original object, so it's going to be hard to call the close() method on it.
However, it is rarely a good idea to attempt to control when the GC is run (Weak, Soft and PhantomReferences let you know after the fact that the object is enqueued for GC). In fact, if the amount of memory in the JVM is large (eg -Xmx2000m) you might never GC the object, and you will still experience the ORA-01000. If the JVM memory is small relative to your program's requirements, you may find that the ResultSet and PreparedStatement objects are GCed immediately after creation (before you can read from them), which will likely fail your program.
TL;DR: The weak reference mechanism is not a good way to manage and close Statement and ResultSet objects.
I usually use set_time_limit(30) within the main loop (so each loop iteration is limited to 30 seconds rather than the whole script).
I do this in multiple database update scripts, which routinely take several minutes to complete but less than a second for each iteration - keeping the 30 second limit means the script won't get stuck in an infinite loop if I am stupid enough to create one.
I must admit that my choice of 30 seconds for the limit is somewhat arbitrary - my scripts could actually get away with 2 seconds instead, but I feel more comfortable with 30 seconds given the actual application - of course you could use whatever value you feel is suitable.

It is important to understand that the transaction buffer is limited to 1 MB, regardless of device capabilities or app. This buffer is used with every API calls you make and is shared amongst all transactions an app is currently running.
I believe it also holds some specific object like parcels and such (Parcel.obtain())
, so it's important to always match every obtain()
with a recycle()
.
This error can easily happen on API calls returning a lot of data, even though the returned data is less than 1 MB (if other transactions are still running).
For example, the PackageManager.getInstalledApplication()
call returns a list of all apps installed. Adding specific flags allows to retrieve a lot of extra data. Doing so is likely to fail, so it's recommended not to retrieve any extra data and retrieve those on a per-app basis.
However the call may still fail, so it's important to surround it with a catch
and be able to retry if necessary.
As far as I know, there's no work-around to such issue except retrying and making sure to retrieve as little information as possible.

Use the --force
(-f
) flag on your mysql import. Rather than stopping on the offending statement, MySQL will continue and just log the errors to the console.
For example:

Excel shows 24:03 as 3 minutes when you format it as time, because 24:03 is the same as 12:03 AM (in military time).
Instead of trying to format as Time, use the General Format and the following formula:
=number of minutes + (number of seconds / 60)
Ex: for 24 minutes and 3 seconds:
=24+3/60
This will give you a value of 24.05.
Do this for each time period. Let's say you enter this formula in cells A1

. Then, to get the total sum of elapsed time, use this formula in cell A3

Pandas offer a great way to manipulate tables, as you can make binning easy (binning a dataframe in pandas in Python) and calculate statistics. Other thing that is great in pandas is the Panel class that you can join series of layers with different properties and combine it using groupby function.

in my case the issue was in the EOL Conversion. (End Of Line).
i created the file on windows and only after i converted the EOL from windows(CR LF) to unix(LF), everything went well.
I did the conversion with Notepad++ very easily from: Edit -> EOL Conversion -> Unix(LF)

And by default, the engine is greedy to match this pattern. For example, if the input is 123456789, \d{2,5} will match 12345 which is with length 5.

For ASP.NET 1.1, this is still due to someone posting more than 1000 form fields, but the setting must be changed in the registry rather than a config file. It should be added as a DWORD named MaxHttpCollectionKeys in the registry under

This can be caused by the two sides of the connection disagreeing over whether the connection timed out or not during a keepalive. (Your code tries to reused the connection just as the server is closing it because it has been idle for too long.) You should basically just retry the operation over a new connection. (I'm surprised your library doesn't do this automatically.)

with no validation on length. The page count growth was all associated with the SET @y = REPLICATE(@y,92681);
statement. The initial variable assignment to @y
and the LEN
calculation did not increase this.
The reason for mentioning this is because the page count is hugely more than I was expecting. Assuming an 8KB page then this works out at 16.36 GB which is obviously more or less double what would seem to be necessary. I speculate that this is likely due to the inefficiency of the string concatenation operation needing to copy the entire huge string and append a chunk on to the end rather than being able to add to the end of the existing string. Unfortunately at the moment the .WRITE
method isn't supported for varchar(max) variables.

I've also tested the behaviour with concatenating nvarchar(max) + nvarchar(max)
and nvarchar(max) + varchar(max)

Fixing Error code 1206: The number of locks exceeds the lock table size.
In my case, I work with MySQL Workbench (5.6.17) running on Windows with WampServer 2.5.
For Windows/WampServer you have to edit the my.ini file (not the my.cnf file)
To locate this file go to Menu Server/Server Status (in MySQL Workbench) and look under Server Directories/ Base Directory
In my.ini file there are defined sections for different settings, look for section [mysqld] (create it if it does not exist) and add the command: innodb_buffer_pool_size=4G

The size of the buffer_pool file will depend on your specific machine, in most cases, 2G or 4G will fix the problem.
Remember to restart the server so it takes the new configuration, it corrected the problem for me.

If your app use multiple webview you will still have troubles : localStorage is not correctly shared accross all webviews.
If you want to share the same data in multiple webviews the only way is to repair it with a java database and a javascript interface.

Don't store the whole structure in memory while waiting to get to the end.
Write intermediate results to a temporary table in the database instead of hashmaps - functionally, a database table is the equivalent of a hashmap, i.e. both support keyed access to data, but the table is not memory bound, so use an indexed table here rather than the hashmaps.
If done correctly, your algorithm should not even notice the change - correctly here means to use a class to represent the table, even giving it a put(key, value) and a get(key) method just like a hashmap.
When the intermediate table is complete, generate the required sql statement(s) from it instead of from memory.
This kind of thing happened to me when I was using php language construct exit; in middle of transaction. Then this transaction "hangs" and you need to kill mysql process (described above with processlist;)

I fixed my pythonpath and everything was dandy when I imported stuff through the console, but all these previously unresolved imports were still marked as errors in my code, no matter how many times I restarted eclipse or refreshed/cleaned the project.
I right clicked the project->Pydev->Remove error markers and it got rid of that problem. Don't worry, if your code contains actual errors they will be re-marked.
It depends on many things. It's usually O(1), with a decent hash which itself is constant time... but you could have a hash which takes a long time to compute, and if there are multiple items in the hash map which return the same hash code, get
will have to iterate over them calling equals
on each of them to find a match.
In the worst case, a HashMap
has an O(n) lookup due to walking through all entries in the same hash bucket (e.g. if they all have the same hash code). Fortunately, that worst case scenario doesn't come up very often in real life, in my experience. So no, O(1) certainly isn't guaranteed - but it's usually what you should assume when considering which algorithms and data structures to use.
In JDK 8, HashMap
has been tweaked so that if keys can be compared for ordering, then any densely-populated bucket is implemented as a tree, so that even if there are lots of entries with the same hash code, the complexity is O(log n). That can cause issues if you have a key type where equality and ordering are different, of course.
And yes, if you don't have enough memory for the hash map, you'll be in trouble... but that's going to be true whatever data structure you use.

The concurrent collector will throw an OutOfMemoryError if too much time is being spent in garbage collection: if more than 98% of the total time is spent in garbage collection and less than 2% of the heap is recovered, an OutOfMemoryError will be thrown. This feature is designed to prevent applications from running for an extended period of time while making little or no progress because the heap is too small. If necessary, this feature can be disabled by adding the option -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit to the command line.
The policy is the same as that in the parallel collector, except that time spent performing concurrent collections is not counted toward the 98% time limit. In other words, only collections performed while the application is stopped count toward excessive GC time. Such collections are typically due to a concurrent mode failure or an explicit collection request (e.g., a call to System.gc()).

One of the most commonly encountered uses of explicit garbage collection occurs with RMIs distributed garbage collection (DGC). Applications using RMI refer to objects in other virtual machines. Garbage cannot be collected in these distributed applications without occasionally collection the local heap, so RMI forces full collections periodically. The frequency of these collections can be controlled with properties. For example,

In general, you can use a backslash at the end of a line in order for the command to continue on to the next line. However, there are cases where commands are implicitly continued, namely when the line ends with a token than cannot legally terminate a command. In that case, the shell knows that more is coming, and the backslash can be omitted. Some examples:

The file format would permit up to 255-character worksheet names, but if the Excel UI doesn't want you exceeding 31 characters, don't try to go beyond 31. App's full of weird undocumented limits and quirks, and feeding it files that are within spec but not within the range of things the testers would have tested usually causes REALLY strange behavior. (Personal favorite example: using the Excel 4.0 bytecode for an if() function, in a file with an Excel 97-style stringtable, disabled the toolbar button for bold in Excel 97.)

If you use the InnoDB storage engine for (some of) your MySQL tables, you’ve probably already came across a problem with its default configuration. As you may have noticed in your MySQL’s data directory (in Debian/Ubuntu – /var/lib/mysql) lies a file called ‘ibdata1'. It holds almost all the InnoDB data (it’s not a transaction log) of the MySQL instance and could get quite big. By default this file has a initial size of 10Mb and it automatically extends. Unfortunately, by design InnoDB data files cannot be shrinked. That’s why DELETEs, TRUNCATEs, DROPs, etc. will not reclaim the space used by the file.

I had this problem when trying to delete a certain group of records (using MS Access 2007 with an ODBC connection to MySQL on a web server). Typically I would delete certain records from MySQL then replace with updated records (cascade delete several related records, this streamlines deleting all related records for a single record deletion).
I tried to run through the operations available in phpMyAdmin for the table (optimize,flush, etc), but I was getting a need permission to RELOAD error when I tried to flush. Since my database is on a web server, I couldn't restart the database. Restoring from a backup was not an option.
I tried running delete query for this group of records on the cPanel mySQL access on the web. Got same error message.
My solution: I used Sun's (Oracle's) free MySQL Query Browser (that I previously installed on my computer) and ran the delete query there. It worked right away, Problem solved. I was then able to once again perform the function using the Access script using the ODBC Access to MySQL connection.
That doesn't work because, judging by the rest of the code, the initial value of the text input is "Default text" - which is more than one character, and so your if
condition is always true.
The simplest way to make it work, it seems to me, is to account for this case:

Note: Servers ought to be cautious about depending on URI lengths above 255 bytes, because some older client or proxy implementations might not properly support these lengths.
The limit in Internet Explorer and Safari is about 2 KB, in Opera about 4 KB and in Firefox about 8 KB. We may thus assume that 8 KB is the maximum possible length and that 2 KB is a more affordable length to rely on at the server side and that 255 bytes is the safest length to assume that the entire URL will come in.
If the limit is exceeded in either the browser or the server, most will just truncate the characters outside the limit without any warning. Some servers however may send an HTTP 414 error.
If you need to send large data, then better use POST instead of GET. Its limit is much higher, but more dependent on the server used than the client. Usually up to around 2 GB is allowed by the average web server.
This is also configurable somewhere in the server settings. The average server will display a server-specific error/exception when the POST limit is exceeded, usually as an HTTP 500 error.
This seems to be the result you see from Firefox when the server is not configured properly for SSL. Chrome, BTW, just gave a generic "ssl failed" code.
What happens is that the browser sends a SSL handshake when the server is expecting an HTTP request. Server responds with a 400 code and an error message that is much bigger that the handshake message that the browser expects. Hence the FF message.
As we can see from the responses here there are many things that can break the SSL configuration but not stop the server starting or give any hints in error.log.
What I did was systematically check down all the answers until I finally found the right one, right at the bottom.

A similar effect can be achieved by having an absolute positioned div that matches the size of its parent by positioning it inside your current relative container (the div you don't wish to clip should be outside this div):

The BitmapFactory.decode* methods, discussed in the Load Large Bitmaps Efficiently lesson, should not be executed on the main UI thread if the source data is read from disk or a network location (or really any source other than memory). The time this data takes to load is unpredictable and depends on a variety of factors (speed of reading from disk or network, size of image, power of CPU, etc.). I got it right when I changed the following in the php.ini
file:

and also

Probably your problem should be solved by making above two changes and restarting the apache server.
Even after changing the above the problem persists and if you think it's because of some database operation using mysql you can try changing this also:

The justification for the values is simple, they are sufficiently large to accommodate most messages. You can tune that number to fit your needs. The low default value is basically there to prevent DOS type attacks. This looks like Dijstra's algorithm. In any case, the time taken to run will depend on N. If it takes more than 3 seconds there isn't any way I can see of speeding it up, as all the calculations that it is doing need to be done.

I just ran into this issue a couple minutes ago. I solved it by doing a better job at managing my listview adapter. I thought it was an issue with the hundreds of 50x50px images I was using, turns out I was trying to inflate my custom view each time the row was being shown. Simply by testing to see if the row had been inflated I eliminated this error, and I am using hundreds of bitmaps. This is actually for a Spinner, but the base adapter works all the same for a ListView. This simple fix also greatly improved the performance of the adapter.

A major reason for this is that the garbage collector allows the runtime system to amortize allocation and deallocation operations in a potentially advantageous fashion.
That said, I've written a lot of C# and a lot of C++, and I've run a lot of benchmarks. In my experience, C++ is a lot faster than C#, in two ways: (1) if you take some code that you've written in C#, port it to C++ the native code tends to be faster. How much faster? Well, it varies a whole lot, but it's not uncommon to see a 100% speed improvement. (2) In some cases, garbage collection can massively slow down a managed application. The .NET CLR does a terrible job with large heaps (say, > 2GB), and can end up spending a lot of time in GC--even in applications that have few--or even no--objects of intermediate life spans.
Of course, in most cases that I've encounted, managed languages are fast enough, by a long shot, and the maintenance and coding tradeoff for the extra performance of C++ is simply not a good one.

In the beaten-up MVC pattern, the Servlet is "C" - controller.
Its main job is to do initial request evaluation and then dispatch the processing based on the initial evaluation to the specific worker. One of the worker's responsibilities may be to setup some presentation layer beans and forward the request to the JSP page to render HTML. I would not, though, start writing raw Servlet

One important difference is that, you cannot access these class variables (or class instance variables you can say) directly from instance methods because @people in an instance method would refer to an instance variable of that specific instance of the Person or Student or Graduate classes.

I found that stimulating an update in "natural" sequence was an easier route than force-pushing things.

Folders don't need to be "created" in the zip-archive. The second parameter "entryName" in CreateEntryFromFile should be a relative path, and when unpacking the zip-file the directories of the relative paths will be detected and created.

SQLite does not have a storage class set aside for storing dates and/or times. Instead, the built-in Date And Time Functions of SQLite are capable of storing dates and times as TEXT, REAL, or INTEGER values:

One method I did with mine, is to "Add to Source Control", and select 'Git'.
You say that you have profiled the application. Have you profiled the ORM too? There is an EF profiler from Ayende that will highlight where you can optimise your EF code. You can find it here:
Remember that you can use a traditional SQL approach alongside your ORM if you need to to gain performance.
If there a faster/better ORM? Depending on your object/data model, you could consider using a one of the micro-ORMs, such as Dapper, Massive or PetaPoco.
The Dapper site publishes some comparitive benchmarks that will give you an idea how they compare to other ORMs. But it's worth noting that the micro-ORMs do not support the rich feature set of the full ORMs like EF and NH.
You may want to take a look at RavenDB. This is a non-relational database (from Ayende again) that lets you store POCOs directly with no mapping needed. RavenDB is optimised for reads and makes the developers life a whole lot easier by removing need to manipulate schema and to map your objects to that schema. However, be aware that this is a significantly different approach to using an ORM approach and these are outlined in the product's site.
You don't give a reproducible example but your warning message tells you exactly what the problem is.

only has a length of 10. I'm guessing the length of dih_y2$MemberID
isn't a multiple of 10. When using ==
, R spits out a warning if it isn't a multiple to let you know that it's probably not doing what you're expecting it to do. ==
does element-wise checking for equality. I suspect what you want to do is find which of the elements of dih_y2$MemberID
are also in the vector memb
. To do this you would want to use the %in%
operator.

A simple way of looking at HTTP 301 vs. 302 redirects is:
Suppose you have a bookmark to "http://sample.com/sample". You use a browser to go there.
A 302 redirect to a different URL at this point would mean that you should keep your bookmark to "http://sample.com/sample". This is because the destination URL may change in the future.
A 301 redirect to a different URL would mean that your bookmark should change to point to the new URL as it is a permanent redirect.

It turned out my versions of the CLR/NCLI/SMO were 10.50.1600.1. Upgrading them to 10.53.6000.34 fixed it - thus allowing the 2008R2 SMO to do many things with 2012 and 2014 servers.

Floating point numbers differ from real numbers in that for any given floating point number there is a next higher floating point number. Same as integers. There's no integer between 1 and 2.
There's no way to represent 1/3 as a float. There's a float below it and there's a float above it, and there's a certain distance between them. And 1/3 is in that space.
Apfloat for Java claims to work with arbitrary precision floating point numbers, but I've never used it. Probably worth a look. http://www.apfloat.org/apfloat_java/

I want to mention the Ning Async Http Client Library. I've never used it but my colleague raves about it as compared to the Apache Http Client, which I've always used in the past. I see that this is a very old question, but this is how I calculate the percentage difference between 2 numbers:
(1 - (oldNumber / newNumber)) * 100
So, the percentage difference from 30 to 40 is:
(1 - (30/40)) * 100 = +25% (meaning, increase by 25%)

I had already installed pods. Build worked without any problems when I builded application on my device, but archive didn't work. I just run:

To the delight of font purists everywhere, the iPhone system interface uses Helvetica or a variant thereof.
The original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS system interface uses Helvetica. As first noted by the always excellent DaringFireball, the iPhone 4 uses a subtly revised font called "Helvetica Neue." DaringFireball also notes that this change is related to the iPhone 4 display rather than the iOS 4 operating system and older iPhone models running iOS 4 still use Helvetica as the system font.

Use the valgrind option --track-origins=yes
to have it track the origin of uninitialized values. This will make it slower and take more memory, but can be very helpful if you need to track down the origin of an uninitialized value.
Update: Regarding the point at which the uninitialized value is reported, the valgrind manual states:
It is important to understand that your program can copy around junk (uninitialised) data as much as it likes. Memcheck observes this and keeps track of the data, but does not complain. A complaint is issued only when your program attempts to make use of uninitialised data in a way that might affect your program's externally-visible behaviour.
From the Valgrind FAQ:
As for eager reporting of copies of uninitialised memory values, this has been suggested multiple times. Unfortunately, almost all programs legitimately copy uninitialised memory values around (because compilers pad structs to preserve alignment) and eager checking leads to hundreds of false positives. One way is to add your shortcut keys to the commands themselves them as InputGestures

There's a few ways, the most prominent being getting form data, or getting the query string. Here's one method using JavaScript. When you click on a link it will call the _vals('mytarget', 'theval') which will submit the form data. When your page posts back you can check if this form data has been set and then retrieve it from the form values.

I know that due to this ugly anonymous inner class usage of TransactionTemplate
doesn't look nice, but when for some reason we want to have a test method transactional IMHO it is the most flexible option.
In some cases (it depends on the application type) the best way to use transactions in Spring tests is a turned-off @Transactional
on the test methods. Why? Because @Transactional
may leads to many false-positive tests. You may look at this sample article to find out details. In such cases TransactionTemplate
can be perfect for controlling transaction boundries when we want that control.
As people say, JavaScript will convert a string of number to integer, so it is not possible to use directly on an associative array, but objects will work for you in similar way I think.
You can create your object:
var object = {};
And add the values as array works:
object[1] = value;
object[2] = value;
This will give you:

After that you can access it like an array in other languages getting the key:
for(key in object)

I needed to convert some double to currency values and found that most of the solutions were OK, but not for me.
The DecimalFormat
was eventually the way for me, so here is what I've done:
