Here's another issue I have with symbolicatecrash – it won't work with Apps that have spaces in their bundle (i.e. 'Test App.app'). Note I don't think you can have spaces in their name when submitting so you should remove these anyway, but if you already have crashes that need analysing, patch symbolicatecrash (4.3 GM) as such:

Oracle 11G Express Edition is now available to install on 64-bit versions of Windows.
for oracle you could do something like below
alter table mytable add (myfield integer);
update mytable set myfield = rownum;
I arrived at this question looking for a way to stream an open ended list of objects onto a System.IO.Stream
and read them off the other end, without buffering the entire list before sending. (Specifically I'm streaming persisted objects from MongoDB over Web API.)
@Paul Tyng and @Rivers did an excellent job answering the original question, and I used their answers to build a proof of concept for my problem. I decided to post my test console app here in case anyone else is facing the same issue.
using System;
using System.Diagnostics;
using System.IO;
using System.IO.Pipes;
using System.Threading;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using Newtonsoft.Json;
namespace TestJsonStream {
class Program {
static void Main(string[] args) {
using(var writeStream = new AnonymousPipeServerStream(PipeDirection.Out, HandleInheritability.None)) {
string pipeHandle = writeStream.GetClientHandleAsString();
var writeTask = Task.Run(() => {
using(var sw = new StreamWriter(writeStream))
using(var writer = new JsonTextWriter(sw)) {
var ser = new JsonSerializer();
writer.WriteStartArray();
for(int i = 0; i < 25; i++) {
ser.Serialize(writer, new DataItem { Item = i });
writer.Flush();
Thread.Sleep(500);
}
writer.WriteEnd();
writer.Flush();
}
});
var readTask = Task.Run(() => {
var sw = new Stopwatch();
sw.Start();
using(var readStream = new AnonymousPipeClientStream(pipeHandle))
using(var sr = new StreamReader(readStream))
using(var reader = new JsonTextReader(sr)) {
var ser = new JsonSerializer();
if(!reader.Read() || reader.TokenType != JsonToken.StartArray) {
throw new Exception("Expected start of array");
}
while(reader.Read()) {
if(reader.TokenType == JsonToken.EndArray) break;
var item = ser.Deserialize<DataItem>(reader);
Console.WriteLine("[{0}] Received item: {1}", sw.Elapsed, item);
}
}
});
Task.WaitAll(writeTask, readTask);
writeStream.DisposeLocalCopyOfClientHandle();
}
}
class DataItem {
public int Item { get; set; }
public override string ToString() {
return string.Format("{{ Item = {0} }}", Item);
}
}
}
}
Note that you may receive an exception when the AnonymousPipeServerStream
is disposed, I ignored this as it isn't relevant to the problem at hand.
There is more than one way to do it:
#! /usr/bin/env python3
#
# This demonstrates how to pick the attiributes of an object
class C(object) :
def __init__ (self, name="q" ):
self.q = name
self.m = "y?"
c = C()
print ( dir(c) )
When run, this code produces:
jeffs@jeff-desktop:~/skyset$ python3 attributes.py
['__class__', '__delattr__', '__dict__', '__dir__', '__doc__', '__eq__', '__format__', '__ge__', '__getattribute__', '__gt__', '__hash__', '__init__', '__le__', '__lt__', '__module__', '__ne__', '__new__', '__reduce__', '__reduce_ex__', '__repr__', '__setattr__', '__sizeof__', '__str__', '__subclasshook__', '__weakref__', 'm', 'q']
jeffs@jeff-desktop:~/skyset$
Try this:
BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("java_module_name/src/file_name.txt"));
You can simply use $_GET
especially if you know the othervar
's name.
If you want to be on the safe side, use if (isset ($_GET ['varname']))
to test for existence.
Select2 http://select2.github.io may be even better and more active than Chosen.
See this comparison: http://sitepoint.com/jquery-select-box-components-chosen-vs-select2
I went for Select2 (a few months ago) because Chosen had an issue when using Chinese characters via an IME http://github.com/harvesthq/chosen/issues/2663 It works great.
After some time with Google I asked on the ask ubuntu chat room.
A user there was king enough to help me find the solution I was looking for and i wanted to share so that any following suers running into this may find it:
grep -P "(^|\s)abc(\s|$)"
gives the result I was looking for. -P is an experimental implementation of perl regexps.
grepping for abc
and then using filters like grep -v '@abc'
(this is far from perfect...) should also work, but my patch does something similar.
For using Google SignIn in Android app, you need
google-services.json
which you can generate using the instruction mentioned here
Of course you can use floats or doubles for "critical" things ... Many applications do nothing but crunch numbers using these datatypes.
You might have misunderstood some of the various caveats regarding floating-point numbers, such as the recommendation to never compare for exact equality, and so on.
You can generate a noise array, and add it to your signal
import numpy as np
noise = np.random.normal(0,1,100)
# 0 is the mean of the normal distribution you are choosing from
# 1 is the standard deviation of the normal distribution
# 100 is the number of elements you get in array noise
I've found a way to get only the Contacts application:
git clone https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Contacts
which is good enough for me for now, but doesn't answer the question of browsing the code on the web.
Because I do not have enough reputation to post a comment, I want to add a complete cross-browser solution that combined @Madeorsk and @Saadat's approaches with some slight modification! (Tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE, and Edge as of 2/10/2020)
table { height: 1px; }
tr { height: 100%; }
td { height: 100%; }
td > div {
height: -webkit-calc(100vh);
height: -moz-calc(100vh);
height: calc(100%);
width: 100%;
background: pink; // This will show that it works!
}
However, if you're like me, than you want to control vertical alignment as well, and in those cases, I like to use flexbox:
td > div {
width: 100%;
display: flex;
align-items: center;
justify-content: flex-end;
}
I used the id's of my radiobuttons to compare with the id of the checkedRadioButton
that I got using mRadioGroup.getCheckedRadioButtonId()
Here is my code:
mRadioButton1=(RadioButton)findViewById(R.id.first);
mRadioButton2=(RadioButton)findViewById(R.id.second);
mRadioButton3=(RadioButton)findViewById(R.id.third);
mRadioButton4=(RadioButton)findViewById(R.id.fourth);
mNextButton=(Button)findViewById(R.id.next_button);
mNextButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(View v) {
int selectedId=mRadioGroup.getCheckedRadioButtonId();
int n=0;
if(selectedId==R.id.first){n=1;}
else if(selectedId==R.id.second){n=2;}
else if(selectedId==R.id.third){n=3;}
else if(selectedId==R.id.fourth){n=4;}
//. . . .
}
if you put all the searched words in a temporaray table say @tmp and column col1, then you could try this:
Select * from T where C like (Select '%'+col1+'%' from @temp);
All you need is a ADODB.Connection
Dim cnn As ADODB.Connection ' Requieres reference to the
Dim rs As ADODB.Recordset ' Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects Library

cnn.Open "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};DBQ=C:\Access\webforums\whiteboard2003.mdb;"

This formula works for me:
// Converts CR TimeDate format to AssignDate for WeightedAverageDate calculation.
Date( Year({DWN00500.BUDDT}), Month({DWN00500.BUDDT}), Day({DWN00500.BUDDT}) ) - CDate(1899, 12, 30)
Resources in Scala work exactly as they do in Java.
It is best to follow the Java best practices and put all resources in src/main/resources
and src/test/resources
.
Example folder structure:
testing_styles/
+-- build.sbt
+-- src
¦ +-- main
¦ +-- resources
¦ ¦ +-- readme.txt
To read resources the object Source provides the method fromResource.
import scala.io.Source
val readmeText : Iterator[String] = Source.fromResource("readme.txt").getLines
To read resources you can use getClass.getResource and getClass.getResourceAsStream .
val stream: InputStream = getClass.getResourceAsStream("/readme.txt")
val lines: Iterator[String] = scala.io.Source.fromInputStream( stream ).getLines
To avoid undebuggable Java NPEs, consider:
import scala.util.Try
import scala.io.Source
import java.io.FileNotFoundException
object Example {
def readResourceWithNiceError(resourcePath: String): Try[Iterator[String]] =
Try(Source.fromResource(resourcePath).getLines)
.recover(throw new FileNotFoundException(resourcePath))
}
Keep in mind that getResourceAsStream also works fine when the resources are part of a jar, getResource, which returns a URL which is often used to create a file can lead to problems there.
In production code I suggest to make sure that the source is closed again.
Or you can do that with ES6 template literal:
<a :href="`/job/${r.id}`"
I know this thread is old, but figured I would throw in what came up with since I just ran into this same issue. It may not be efficient, but I believe it gets the job done.
SELECT TOP 10 p.id, pl.nm, pl.val, pl.txt_val
INTO #yourTempTable
from dm.labs pl
join mas_data.patients p on pl.id = p.id
where pl.nm like '%LDL%' and val is not null
select p.id, pl.nm, pl.val, pl.txt_val
from #yourTempTable
where id IN (select distinct id from #yourTempTable)
The answer will not work when using the overload to indicate the template @Html.DisplayFor(x => x.Foos, "YourTemplateName)
.
Seems to be designed that way, see this case. Also the exception the framework gives (about the type not been as expected) is quite misleading and fooled me on the first try (thanks @CodeCaster)
In this case you have to use @foreach
@foreach (var item in Model.Foos)
{
@Html.DisplayFor(x => item, "FooTemplate")
}
For understanding what is the best answer we can do some timing using the different solution. Unfortunately, the question was not well-posed so there are answers to different questions, here I try to point the answer to the same question. Given the array:
a = np.array([1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 15, 56])
The answer should be the indexes of the elements between a certain range, we assume inclusive, in this case, 6 and 10.
answer = (3, 4, 5)
Corresponding to the values 6,9,10.
To test the best answer we can use this code.
import timeit
setup = """
import numpy as np
import numexpr as ne
a = np.array([1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 15, 56])
# we define the left and right limit
ll = 6
rl = 10
def sorted_slice(a,l,r):
start = np.searchsorted(a, l, 'left')
end = np.searchsorted(a, r, 'right')
return np.arange(start,end)
"""
functions = ['sorted_slice(a,ll,rl)', # works only for sorted values
'np.where(np.logical_and(a>=ll, a<=rl))[0]',
'np.where((a >= ll) & (a <=rl))[0]',
'np.where((a>=ll)*(a<=rl))[0]',
'np.where(np.vectorize(lambda x: ll <= x <= rl)(a))[0]',
'np.argwhere((a>=ll) & (a<=rl)).T[0]', # we traspose for getting a single row
'np.where(ne.evaluate("(ll <= a) & (a <= rl)"))[0]',]
functions2 = [
'a[np.logical_and(a>=ll, a<=rl)]',
'a[(a>=ll) & (a<=rl)]',
'a[(a>=ll)*(a<=rl)]',
'a[np.vectorize(lambda x: ll <= x <= rl)(a)]',
'a[ne.evaluate("(ll <= a) & (a <= rl)")]',
]
The results are reported in the following plot. On the top the fastest solutions. If instead of the indexes you want to extract the values you can perform the tests using functions2 but the results are almost the same.
First of all, you should install SignalR.Host.Self on the server application and SignalR.Client on your client application by nuget :
PM> Install-Package SignalR.Hosting.Self -Version 0.5.2
PM> Install-Package Microsoft.AspNet.SignalR.Client
Then add the following code to your projects ;)
(run the projects as administrator)
Server console app:
using System;
using SignalR.Hubs;
namespace SignalR.Hosting.Self.Samples {
class Program {
static void Main(string[] args) {
string url = "http://127.0.0.1:8088/";
var server = new Server(url);
// Map the default hub url (/signalr)
server.MapHubs();
// Start the server
server.Start();
Console.WriteLine("Server running on {0}", url);
// Keep going until somebody hits 'x'
while (true) {
ConsoleKeyInfo ki = Console.ReadKey(true);
if (ki.Key == ConsoleKey.X) {
break;
}
}
}
[HubName("CustomHub")]
public class MyHub : Hub {
public string Send(string message) {
return message;
}
public void DoSomething(string param) {
Clients.addMessage(param);
}
}
}
}
Client console app:
using System;
using SignalR.Client.Hubs;
namespace SignalRConsoleApp {
internal class Program {
private static void Main(string[] args) {
//Set connection
var connection = new HubConnection("http://127.0.0.1:8088/");
//Make proxy to hub based on hub name on server
var myHub = connection.CreateHubProxy("CustomHub");
//Start connection
connection.Start().ContinueWith(task => {
if (task.IsFaulted) {
Console.WriteLine("There was an error opening the connection:{0}",
task.Exception.GetBaseException());
} else {
Console.WriteLine("Connected");
}
}).Wait();
myHub.Invoke<string>("Send", "HELLO World ").ContinueWith(task => {
if (task.IsFaulted) {
Console.WriteLine("There was an error calling send: {0}",
task.Exception.GetBaseException());
} else {
Console.WriteLine(task.Result);
}
});
myHub.On<string>("addMessage", param => {
Console.WriteLine(param);
});
myHub.Invoke<string>("DoSomething", "I'm doing something!!!").Wait();
Console.Read();
connection.Stop();
}
}
}
To declare a string literal as an output column, leave the Table
off and just use Test
. It doesn't need to be associated with a table among your joins, since it will be accessed only by its column alias. When using a metadata function like getColumnMeta()
, the table name will be an empty string because it isn't associated with a table.
SELECT
`field1`,
`field2`,
'Test' AS `field3`
FROM `Test`;
Note: I'm using single quotes above. MySQL is usually configured to honor double quotes for strings, but single quotes are more widely portable among RDBMS.
If you must have a table alias name with the literal value, you need to wrap it in a subquery with the same name as the table you want to use:
SELECT
field1,
field2,
field3
FROM
/* subquery wraps all fields to put the literal inside a table */
(SELECT field1, field2, 'Test' AS field3 FROM Test) AS Test
Now field3
will come in the output as Test.field3
.
The Tumbler V2 API provides a pure JSON response but requires jumping through a few hoops:
Example URL: http://api.tumblr.com/v2/blog/puppygifs.tumblr.com/posts/photo?api_key=YOUR_KEY_HERE
Result showing tree structure in Fiddler:
Hope this Helps for all versions.
function diffArray(arr1, arr2) {
var newArr = [];
var large = arr1.length>=arr2.length?arr1:arr2;
var small = JSON.stringify(large) == JSON.stringify(arr1)?arr2:arr1;
for(var i=0;i<large.length;i++){
var copyExists = false;
for(var j =0;j<small.length;j++){
if(large[i]==small[j]){
copyExists= true;
break;
}
}
if(!copyExists)
{
newArr.push(large[i]);
}
}
for(var i=0;i<small.length;i++){
var copyExists = false;
for(var j =0;j<large.length;j++){
if(large[j]==small[i]){
copyExists= true;
break;
}
}
if(!copyExists)
{
newArr.push(small[i]);
}
}
return newArr;
}
To get global bash-like aliases in Windows for applications not added to the path automatically without manually adding each one to the path, here's the cleanest solution I've come up with that does the least amount of changes to the system and has the most flexibility for later customization:
mkdir c:\aliases
setx PATH "c:\aliases;%PATH%"
To start C:\path to\my program.exe
, passing in all arguments, opening it in a new window, create c:\aliases\my program.bat
file with the following contents(see NT Start Command for details on the start commmand):
@echo off
start "myprogram" /D "C:\path to\" /W "myprogram.exe" %*
To start C:\path to\my program.exe
, passing in all arguments, but running it in the same window (more like how bash operates) create c:\aliases\my program.bat
file with the following contents:
@echo off
pushd "C:\path to\"
"my program.exe" %*
popd
If you don't need the application to change the current working directory at all in order to operate, you can just add a symlink to the executable inside your aliases folder:
cd c:\aliases\
mklink "my program.exe" "c:\path to\my program.exe"
git add --all
or git add -A
or git add -A .
Stages All
git add .
Stages New & Modified But Without Deleted
git add -u
Stages Modified & Deleted But Without New
git commit -a
Means git add -u
And git commit -m "message"
After writing this command follow these steps:-
git add <list of files>
add specific file
git add *.txt
add all the txt files in current directory
git add docs/*/txt
add all txt files in docs directory
git add docs/
add all files in docs directory
git add "*.txt"
or git add '*.txt'
add all the files in the whole project
You're on the right track with using document.getElementById()
as you have done for your first two text boxes. Use something like document.getElementById("textbox3")
to retrieve the element. Then you can just set its value property: document.getElementById("textbox3").value = answer;
For the "Your answer is: --", I'd recommend wrapping the "--" in a <span/>
(e.g. <span id="answerDisplay">--</span>
). Then use document.getElementById("answerDisplay").textContent = answer;
to display it.
If you're trying to do this in a MiniTest unit test, you can use assert_includes
. Example:
pets = ['Cat', 'Dog', 'Bird']
assert_includes(pets, 'Dog') # -> passes
assert_includes(pets, 'Zebra') # -> fails
faced the same problem: Gradle sync failed: failed to find Build Tools revision x.x.x
reason: the build tools for that version was not down loaded properly solution:
then follow the steps 1 to 3 and 6.
In order to generate the value use
private static final long serialVersionUID = $randomLong$L;
$END$
and provide the randomLong template variable with the following value: groovyScript("new Random().nextLong().abs()")
https://pharsfalvi.wordpress.com/2015/03/18/adding-serialversionuid-in-idea/
Adding cacerts
did not work for me.
After enabling log with flag -Djavax.net.debug=all
, then came to know java reading from jssecacerts
.
Import to jssecacerts
worked finally.
This code works:
$(".ui-button-text").live(
'hover',
function (ev) {
if (ev.type == 'mouseover') {
$(this).addClass("ui-state-hover");
}
if (ev.type == 'mouseout') {
$(this).removeClass("ui-state-hover");
}
});
It's just a different syntax. Instead of
foreach ($a as $v) {
# ...
}
You could write this:
foreach ($a as $v):
# ...
endforeach;
They will function exactly the same; it's just a matter of style. (Personally I have never seen anyone use the second form.)
Take a look in the code below.
First, we create custom layouts. In this case, four types.
even.xml
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:background="#ff500000"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<TextView
android:id="@+id/text"
android:textColor="@android:color/white"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_gravity="center"
android:textSize="24sp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</LinearLayout>
odd.xml
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:background="#ff001f50"
android:gravity="right"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<TextView
android:id="@+id/text"
android:textColor="@android:color/white"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="center"
android:textSize="28sp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</LinearLayout>
white.xml
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:background="#ffffffff"
android:gravity="right"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<TextView
android:id="@+id/text"
android:textColor="@android:color/black"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="center"
android:textSize="28sp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</LinearLayout>
black.xml
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:background="#ff000000"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<TextView
android:id="@+id/text"
android:textColor="@android:color/white"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="center"
android:textSize="33sp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</LinearLayout>
Then, we create the listview item. In our case, with a string and a type.
public class ListViewItem {
private String text;
private int type;
public ListViewItem(String text, int type) {
this.text = text;
this.type = type;
}
public String getText() {
return text;
}
public void setText(String text) {
this.text = text;
}
public int getType() {
return type;
}
public void setType(int type) {
this.type = type;
}
}
After that, we create a view holder. It's strongly recommended because Android OS keeps the layout reference to reuse your item when it disappears and appears back on the screen. If you don't use this approach, every single time that your item appears on the screen Android OS will create a new one and causing your app to leak memory.
public class ViewHolder {
TextView text;
public ViewHolder(TextView text) {
this.text = text;
}
public TextView getText() {
return text;
}
public void setText(TextView text) {
this.text = text;
}
}
Finally, we create our custom adapter overriding getViewTypeCount() and getItemViewType(int position).
public class CustomAdapter extends ArrayAdapter {
public static final int TYPE_ODD = 0;
public static final int TYPE_EVEN = 1;
public static final int TYPE_WHITE = 2;
public static final int TYPE_BLACK = 3;
private ListViewItem[] objects;
@Override
public int getViewTypeCount() {
return 4;
}
@Override
public int getItemViewType(int position) {
return objects[position].getType();
}
public CustomAdapter(Context context, int resource, ListViewItem[] objects) {
super(context, resource, objects);
this.objects = objects;
}
@Override
public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) {
ViewHolder viewHolder = null;
ListViewItem listViewItem = objects[position];
int listViewItemType = getItemViewType(position);
if (convertView == null) {
if (listViewItemType == TYPE_EVEN) {
convertView = LayoutInflater.from(getContext()).inflate(R.layout.type_even, null);
} else if (listViewItemType == TYPE_ODD) {
convertView = LayoutInflater.from(getContext()).inflate(R.layout.type_odd, null);
} else if (listViewItemType == TYPE_WHITE) {
convertView = LayoutInflater.from(getContext()).inflate(R.layout.type_white, null);
} else {
convertView = LayoutInflater.from(getContext()).inflate(R.layout.type_black, null);
}
TextView textView = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.text);
viewHolder = new ViewHolder(textView);
convertView.setTag(viewHolder);
} else {
viewHolder = (ViewHolder) convertView.getTag();
}
viewHolder.getText().setText(listViewItem.getText());
return convertView;
}
}
And our activity is something like this:
private ListView listView;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main); // here, you can create a single layout with a listview
listView = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.listview);
final ListViewItem[] items = new ListViewItem[40];
for (int i = 0; i < items.length; i++) {
if (i == 4) {
items[i] = new ListViewItem("White " + i, CustomAdapter.TYPE_WHITE);
} else if (i == 9) {
items[i] = new ListViewItem("Black " + i, CustomAdapter.TYPE_BLACK);
} else if (i % 2 == 0) {
items[i] = new ListViewItem("EVEN " + i, CustomAdapter.TYPE_EVEN);
} else {
items[i] = new ListViewItem("ODD " + i, CustomAdapter.TYPE_ODD);
}
}
CustomAdapter customAdapter = new CustomAdapter(this, R.id.text, items);
listView.setAdapter(customAdapter);
listView.setOnItemClickListener(new AdapterView.OnItemClickListener() {
@Override
public void onItemClick(AdapterView adapterView, View view, int i, long l) {
Toast.makeText(getBaseContext(), items[i].getText(), Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
}
});
}
}
now create a listview inside mainactivity.xml like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<android.support.design.widget.CoordinatorLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:fitsSystemWindows="true"
tools:context="com.example.shivnandan.gygy.MainActivity">
<android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:theme="@style/AppTheme.AppBarOverlay">
<android.support.v7.widget.Toolbar
android:id="@+id/toolbar"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="?attr/actionBarSize"
android:background="?attr/colorPrimary"
app:popupTheme="@style/AppTheme.PopupOverlay" />
</android.support.design.widget.AppBarLayout>
<include layout="@layout/content_main" />
<ListView
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:id="@+id/listView"
android:layout_alignParentRight="true"
android:layout_alignParentEnd="true"
android:layout_marginTop="100dp" />

Looks like you're missing the SEPARATOR keyword in the GROUP_CONCAT function.
GROUP_CONCAT(artists.artistname SEPARATOR '----')
The way you've written it, you're concatenating artists.artistname
with the '----'
string using the default comma separator.
No, instead you would need to do something like this depending on your needs:
function myFunction(myDate, myString) {
if(arguments.length > 1 && typeof(Date.parse(myDate)) == "number" && typeof(myString) == "string") {
//Code here
}
}

There is lots of stuff on this topic, each slightly different. Like many users I spent hours trying them and got nowhere. In the end, this is what worked for me - I.e. installed the driver on windows 8.1
In my extras/google/usb_driver is a file android_winusb.inf
I double clicked on this and it "ran" and installed the driver.
I can't explain why this worked.

When you are developing an SDK. You need some extra operation.
1) create Localizable.strings as usual in YourLocalizeDemoSDK.
2) create the same Localizable.strings in YourLocalizeDemo.
3) find your Bundle Path of YourLocalizeDemoSDK.
Swift4:
// if you use NSLocalizeString in NSObject, you can use it like this
let value = NSLocalizedString("key", tableName: nil, bundle: Bundle(for: type(of: self)), value: "", comment: "")
Bundle(for: type(of: self))
helps you to find the bundle in YourLocalizeDemoSDK. If you use Bundle.main
instead, you will get a wrong value(in fact it will be the same string with the key).
But if you want to use the String extension mentioned by dr OX. You need to do some more. The origin extension looks like this.
extension String {
var localized: String {
return NSLocalizedString(self, tableName: nil, bundle: Bundle.main, value: "", comment: "")
}
}
As we know, we are developing an SDK, Bundle.main
will get the bundle of YourLocalizeDemo's bundle. That's not what we want. We need the bundle in YourLocalizeDemoSDK. This is a trick to find it quickly.
Run the code below in a NSObject instance in YourLocalizeDemoSDK. And you will get the URL of YourLocalizeDemoSDK.
let bundleURLOfSDK = Bundle(for: type(of: self)).bundleURL
let mainBundleURL = Bundle.main.bundleURL
Print both of the two url, you will find that we can build bundleURLofSDK base on mainBundleURL. In this case, it will be:
let bundle = Bundle(url: Bundle.main.bundleURL.appendingPathComponent("Frameworks").appendingPathComponent("YourLocalizeDemoSDK.framework")) ?? Bundle.main
And the String extension will be:
extension String {
var localized: String {
let bundle = Bundle(url: Bundle.main.bundleURL.appendingPathComponent("Frameworks").appendingPathComponent("YourLocalizeDemoSDK.framework")) ?? Bundle.main
return NSLocalizedString(self, tableName: nil, bundle: bundle, value: "", comment: "")
}
}
Hope it helps.
SIGABRT means in general that there is an uncaught exception. There should be more information on the console.

The java.time framework built into Java 8 and later supplants both the old date-time classes bundled with the earliest versions of Java and the Joda-Time library. The java.time classes have been back-ported to Java 6 & 7 and to Android.
The Instant
class represents a moment on the timeline in UTC with a resolution of nanoseconds.
Instant instant = Instant.now();
Apply an offset-from-UTC (a number of hours and possible minutes and seconds) to get an OffsetDateTime
.
ZoneOffset offset = ZoneOffset.of( "-04:00" );
OffsetDateTime odt = OffsetDateTime.ofInstant( instant , offset );
Better yet is applying a full time zone which is an offset plus a set of rules for handling anomalies such as Daylight Saving Time (DST).
ZoneId zoneId = ZoneId.of( "America/Montreal" );
ZonedDateTime zdt = ZonedDateTime.ofInstant( instant , zoneId );
Hopefully the JDBC drivers will be updated to work directly with the java.time classes. Until then we must use the java.sql classes to move date-time values to/from the database. But limit your use of the java.sql classes to the chore of database transit. Do not use them for business logic. As part of the old date-time classes they are poorly designed, confusing, and troublesome.
Use new methods added to the old classes to convert to/from java.time. Look for to…
and valueOf
methods.
Use the java.sql.Timestamp
class for date-time values.
java.sql.Timestamp ts = java.sql.Timestamp.valueOf( instant );
And going the other direction…
Instant instant = ts.toInstant();
For date-time data you virtually always want the TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE
data type rather than WITHOUT
when designing your table columns in your database.
I use seperate custom functions which gets all URL Parameters and URL parts . For URL parameters, (which is the final part of an URI String, http://domain.tld/urlpart/?x=a&y=b
function getUrlVars() {
var vars = {};
var parts = window.location.href.replace(/[?&]+([^=&]+)=([^&]*)/gi, function(m,key,value) {
vars[key] = value;
});
return vars;
}
The above function will return an array consisting of url variables.
For URL Parts or functions, (which is http://domain.tld/urlpart/?x=a&y=b I use a simple uri split,
function getUrlParams() {
var vars = {};
var parts = window.location.href.split('/' );
return parts;
}
You can even combine them both to be able to use with a single call in a page or in javascript.
I changed Scanner fin = new Scanner(file);
to Scanner fin = new Scanner(new File(file));
and it works perfectly now. I didn't think the difference mattered but there you go.
As discussed in this RFE and its comments, you could call tempDir.delete()
first. Or you could use System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir")
and create a directory there. Either way, you should remember to call tempDir.deleteOnExit()
, or the file won't be deleted after you're done.
jQuery has an AjaxSetup()

I think onMouseEnter and onMouseLeave are the ways to go, but I don't see the need for an additional wrapper component. Here is how I implemented it:
var Link = React.createClass({
getInitialState: function(){
return {hover: false}
},
toggleHover: function(){
this.setState({hover: !this.state.hover})
},
render: function() {
var linkStyle;
if (this.state.hover) {
linkStyle = {backgroundColor: 'red'}
} else {
linkStyle = {backgroundColor: 'blue'}
}
return(
<div>
<a style={linkStyle} onMouseEnter={this.toggleHover} onMouseLeave={this.toggleHover}>Link</a>
</div>
)
}
You can then use the state of hover (true/false) to change the style of the link.
For the JS, try
data: {id: the_id}
...
success: function(data) {
alert('the server returned ' + data;
}
and
$the_id = intval($_POST['id']);

Why not just using simple css :
<router-outlet></router-outlet>
<div class="loading"></div>
And in your styles :
div.loading{
height: 100px;
background-color: red;
display: none;
}
router-outlet + div.loading{
display: block;
}
Or even we can do this for the first answer:
<router-outlet></router-outlet>
<spinner-component></spinner-component>
And then simply just
spinner-component{
display:none;
}
router-outlet + spinner-component{
display: block;
}
The trick here is, the new routes and components will always appear after router-outlet , so with a simple css selector we can show and hide the loading.
Lee's approach can be simplified further
public static void InvokeIfRequired(this Control control, MethodInvoker action)
{
// See Update 2 for edits Mike de Klerk suggests to insert here.
if (control.InvokeRequired) {
control.Invoke(action);
} else {
action();
}
}
And can be called like this
richEditControl1.InvokeIfRequired(() =>
{
// Do anything you want with the control here
richEditControl1.RtfText = value;
RtfHelpers.AddMissingStyles(richEditControl1);
});
There is no need to pass the control as parameter to the delegate. C# automatically creates a closure.
UPDATE:
According to several other posters Control
can be generalized as ISynchronizeInvoke
:
public static void InvokeIfRequired(this ISynchronizeInvoke obj,
MethodInvoker action)
{
if (obj.InvokeRequired) {
var args = new object[0];
obj.Invoke(action, args);
} else {
action();
}
}
DonBoitnott pointed out that unlike Control
the ISynchronizeInvoke
interface requires an object array for the Invoke
method as parameter list for the action
.
UPDATE 2
Edits suggested by Mike de Klerk (see comment in 1st code snippet for insert point):
// When the form, thus the control, isn't visible yet, InvokeRequired returns false,
// resulting still in a cross-thread exception.
while (!control.Visible)
{
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(50);
}
See ToolmakerSteve's comment below for concerns about this suggestion.
Usually a back-reference is either $1
or \1
(backslash one) for the first capture group (the first match of a pattern in parentheses), and indeed Sublime supports both syntaxes. So try:
my name used to be \1
or
my name used to be $1
Also note that your original capture pattern:
my name is (\w)+
is incorrect and will only capture the final letter of the name rather than the whole name. You should use the following pattern to capture all of the letters of the name:
my name is (\w+)

If you wants to know how aria-label
helps you practically .. then follow the steps ... you will get it by your own ..
Create a html page having below code
<!DOCTYPE html>

Now, you need a virtual screen reader emulator which will run on browser to observe the difference. So, chrome browser users can install chromevox extension and mozilla users can go with fangs screen reader addin
Once done with installation, put headphones in your ears, open the html page and make focus on both button(by pressing tab) one-by-one .. and you can hear .. focusing on first x button
.. will tell you only x button
.. but in case of second x button
.. you will hear back to the page button
only..
i hope you got it well now!!
To clarify for future reference, a2enmod, as is suggested in several answers above, is for Debian/Ubuntu. Red Hat does not use this to enable Apache modules - instead it uses LoadModule statements in httpd.conf.

What's next then?
I just went back to use relative 'classic' %
(percentage) in CSS.
It's often more effort to implement something than it would be using vh
, but at least, you have a pretty stable solution which works across different devices and browsers without strange UI glitches.
javascript uses dynamic arrays, no need to declare the size beforehand
you can push and shift to arrays as many times as you want, javascript will handle allocation and stuff for you
I had the same issue. after adding below code to my app.js file it fixed.
var cors = require('cors')
app.use(cors());
Usually you also want the master checkbox to be unchecked if at least 1 slave checkbox is unchecked and to be ckecked if all slave checkboxes are checked:
/**
* Checks and unchecks checkbox-group with a master checkbox and slave checkboxes
* @param masterId is the id of master checkbox
* @param slaveName is the name of slave checkboxes
*/
function checkAll(masterId, slaveName) {
$master = $('#' + masterId);
$slave = $('input:checkbox[name=' + slaveName + ']');
$master.click(function(){
$slave.prop('checked', $(this).prop('checked'));
$slave.trigger('change');
});
$slave.change(function() {
if ($master.is(':checked') && $slave.not(':checked').length > 0) {
$master.prop('checked', false);
} else if ($master.not(':checked') && $slave.not(':checked').length == 0) {
$master.prop('checked', 'checked');
}
});
}
And if you want to enable any control (e.g. Remove All
button or a Add Something
button), when at least one checkbox is checked and disable when no checkbox is checked:
/**
* Checks and unchecks checkbox-group with a master checkbox and slave checkboxes,
* enables or disables a control when a checkbox is checked
* @param masterId is the id of master checkbox
* @param slaveName is the name of slave checkboxes
*/
function checkAllAndSwitchControl(masterId, slaveName, controlId) {
$master = $('#' + masterId);
$slave = $('input:checkbox[name=' + slaveName + ']');
$master.click(function(){
$slave.prop('checked', $(this).prop('checked'));
$slave.trigger('change');
});
$slave.change(function() {
switchControl(controlId, $slave.filter(':checked').length > 0);
if ($master.is(':checked') && $slave.not(':checked').length > 0) {
$master.prop('checked', false);
} else if ($master.not(':checked') && $slave.not(':checked').length == 0) {
$master.prop('checked', 'checked');
}
});
}
/**
* Enables or disables a control
* @param controlId is the control-id
* @param enable is true, if control must be enabled, or false if not
*/
function switchControl(controlId, enable) {
var $control = $('#' + controlId);
if (enable) {
$control.removeProp('disabled');
} else {
$control.prop('disabled', 'disabled');
}
}

If you prefer full pathnames, then use this function:
def listdirs(folder): return [ d for d in (os.path.join(folder, d1) for d1 in os.listdir(folder)) if os.path.isdir(d) ]
for those still on python < 2.4: the inner construct needs to be a list instead of a tuple and therefore should read like this:
def listdirs(folder):
return [
d for d in [os.path.join(folder, d1) for d1 in os.listdir(folder)]
if os.path.isdir(d)
]
otherwise one gets a syntax error.
At the Chrome's console :
1. Select the **Elements** tab
2. Select the element of your angular's scope. For instance, click on an element <ui-view>, or <div>, or etc.
3. Type the command **angular.element($0).scope()** with following variable in the angular's scope
Example
angular.element($0).scope().a
angular.element($0).scope().b
SQL Wildcards are enough for this purpose. Follow this link: http://www.w3schools.com/SQL/sql_wildcards.asp
you need to use a query like this:
select * from mytable where msisdn like '%7%'
or
select * from mytable where msisdn like '56655%'
This might be a very late reply but it is working for us. We are using the same gallery provided by Android, just that, we have adjusted the left margin such a way that the screens left end is considered as Gallery's center. That really worked well for us.
You can squash (join) commits with an Interactive Rebase. There is a pretty nice YouTube video which shows how to do this on the command line or with SmartGit:
If you are already a SmartGit user then you can select all your outgoing commits (by holding down the Ctrl key) and open the context menu (right click) to squash your commits.
It's very comfortable:
There is also a very nice tutorial from Atlassian which shows how it works:
New introduction 2
In the previous version of macro "SaveEmailDetails" I used this statement to find Inbox:
Set FolderTgt = CreateObject("Outlook.Application"). _
GetNamespace("MAPI").GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox)
I have since installed a newer version of Outlook and I have discovered that it does not use the default Inbox. For each of my email accounts, it created a separate store (named for the email address) each with its own Inbox. None of those Inboxes is the default.
This macro, outputs the name of the store holding the default Inbox to the Immediate Window:
Sub DsplUsernameOfDefaultStore()
Dim NS As Outlook.NameSpace
Dim DefaultInboxFldr As MAPIFolder
Set NS = CreateObject("Outlook.Application").GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set DefaultInboxFldr = NS.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox)
Debug.Print DefaultInboxFldr.Parent.Name
End Sub
On my installation, this outputs: "Outlook Data File".
I have added an extra statement to macro "SaveEmailDetails" that shows how to access the Inbox of any store.
New introduction 1
A number of people have picked up the macro below, found it useful and have contacted me directly for further advice. Following these contacts I have made a few improvements to the macro so I have posted the revised version below. I have also added a pair of macros which together will return the MAPIFolder object for any folder with the Outlook hierarchy. These are useful if you wish to access other than a default folder.
The original text referenced one question by date which linked to an earlier question. The first question has been deleted so the link has been lost. That link was to Update excel sheet based on outlook mail (closed)
Original text
There are a surprising number of variations of the question: "How do I extract data from Outlook emails to Excel workbooks?" For example, two questions up on [outlook-vba] the same question was asked on 13 August. That question references a variation from December that I attempted to answer.
For the December question, I went overboard with a two part answer. The first part was a series of teaching macros that explored the Outlook folder structure and wrote data to text files or Excel workbooks. The second part discussed how to design the extraction process. For this question Siddarth has provided an excellent, succinct answer and then a follow-up to help with the next stage.
What the questioner of every variation appears unable to understand is that showing us what the data looks like on the screen does not tell us what the text or html body looks like. This answer is an attempt to get past that problem.
The macro below is more complicated than Siddarth’s but a lot simpler that those I included in my December answer. There is more that could be added but I think this is enough to start with.
The macro creates a new Excel workbook and outputs selected properties of every email in Inbox to create this worksheet:
Near the top of the macro there is a comment containing eight hashes (#). The statement below that comment must be changed because it identifies the folder in which the Excel workbook will be created.
All other comments containing hashes suggest amendments to adapt the macro to your requirements.
How are the emails from which data is to be extracted identified? Is it the sender, the subject, a string within the body or all of these? The comments provide some help in eliminating uninteresting emails. If I understand the question correctly, an interesting email will have Subject = "Task Completed"
.
The comments provide no help in extracting data from interesting emails but the worksheet shows both the text and html versions of the email body if they are present. My idea is that you can see what the macro will see and start designing the extraction process.
This is not shown in the screen image above but the macro outputs two versions on the text body. The first version is unchanged which means tab, carriage return, line feed are obeyed and any non-break spaces look like spaces. In the second version, I have replaced these codes with the strings [TB], [CR], [LF] and [NBSP] so they are visible. If my understanding is correct, I would expect to see the following within the second text body:
Activity[TAB]Count[CR][LF]Open[TAB]35[CR][LF]HCQA[TAB]42[CR][LF]HCQC[TAB]60[CR][LF]HAbst[TAB]50 45 5 2 2 1[CR][LF] and so on
Extracting the values from the original of this string should not be difficult.
I would try amending my macro to output the extracted values in addition to the email’s properties. Only when I have successfully achieved this change would I attempt to write the extracted data to an existing workbook. I would also move processed emails to a different folder. I have shown where these changes must be made but give no further help. I will respond to a supplementary question if you get to the point where you need this information.
Good luck.

I think you all use too much code for such a simple problem. No need to make a repo for that. Here's a single line function.
namespace => namespace.split(".").reduce((last, next) => (last[next] = (last[next] || {})), window);
Try it :
// --- definition ---
const namespace = name => name.split(".").reduce((last, next) => (last[next] = (last[next] || {})), window);
// --- Use ----
const c = namespace("a.b.c");
c.MyClass = class MyClass {};
// --- see ----
console.log("a : ", a);

The best way is to set up Apache and to set the access through it. Check the svn book for help. If you don't want to use Apache, you can also do minimalistic access control using svnserve.
Try out with the Smarty Session:
{$smarty.session|@debug_print_var}
or
{$smarty.session|@print_r}
To beautify your output, use it between <pre> </pre>
tags
I know this question is old, however I ran into this problem on Windows 8.1 while trying to use .htaccess files for rewriting. My solution was simple, I forgot to modify the following line in httpd.conf
#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
to
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
Restarted the apache monitor, now all works well. Just posting this as an answer because someone in the future may run across the same issue with a simple fix.
Good luck!
Look there is a far easier solution to your problem:
ImageView imageView;
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState){
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.your_layout);
imageView =(ImageView)findViewById(R.id.your_imageView);
Bitmap imageBitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(getResources(), R.drawable.your_image);
Point screenSize = new Point();
getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay().getSize(screenSize);
Bitmap temp = Bitmap.createBitmap(screenSize.x, screenSize.x, Bitmap.Config.ARGB_8888);
Canvas canvas = new Canvas(temp);
canvas.drawBitmap(imageBitmap,null, new Rect(0,0,screenSize.x,screenSize.x), null);
imageView.setImageBitmap(temp);
}
I've created an NPM module, which allows you to share locally-stored data across domains: https://www.npmjs.com/package/cookie-toss
By using an iframe hosted on Domain A, you can store all of your user data on Domain A, and reference that data by posting requests to the Domain A iframe.
Thus, Domains B, C, etc. can inject the iframe and post requests to it to store and access the desired data. Domain A becomes the hub for all shared data.
With a domain whitelist inside of Domain A, you can ensure only your dependent sites can access the data on Domain A.
The trick is to have the code inside of the iframe on Domain A which is able to recognize which data is being requested. The README in the above NPM module goes more in depth into the procedure.
Hope this helps!
You can do this by using the following xml
<RelativeLayout
style="@style/GenericProgressBackground"
android:id="@+id/loadingPanel"
>
<ProgressBar
style="@style/GenericProgressIndicator"/>
</RelativeLayout>
With this style
<style name="GenericProgressBackground" parent="android:Theme">
<item name="android:layout_width">fill_parent</item>
<item name="android:layout_height">fill_parent</item>
<item name="android:background">#DD111111</item>
<item name="android:gravity">center</item>
</style>
<style name="GenericProgressIndicator" parent="@android:style/Widget.ProgressBar.Small">
<item name="android:layout_width">wrap_content</item>
<item name="android:layout_height">wrap_content</item>
<item name="android:indeterminate">true</item>
</style>
To use this, you must hide your UI elements by setting the visibility value to GONE and whenever the data is loaded, call setVisibility(View.VISIBLE)
on all your views to restore them. Don't forget to call findViewById(R.id.loadingPanel).setVisiblity(View.GONE)
to hide the loading animation.
If you dont have a loading event/function but just want the loading panel to disappear after x seconds use a Handle to trigger the hiding/showing.
As of Laravel 5 the database username and password goes in the .env file that exists in the project directory, e.g.
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_DATABASE=db1
DB_USERNAME=user1
DB_PASSWORD=pass1
As you can see these environment variables are overriding the 'forge' strings here so changing them has no effect:
'mysql' => [
'driver' => 'mysql',
'host' => env('DB_HOST', 'localhost'),
'database' => env('DB_DATABASE', 'forge'),
'username' => env('DB_USERNAME', 'forge'),
'password' => env('DB_PASSWORD', ''),
'charset' => 'utf8',
'collation' => 'utf8_unicode_ci',
'prefix' => '',
'strict' => false,
],
More information is here https://mattstauffer.co/blog/laravel-5.0-environment-detection-and-environment-variables
The getApplication()
method is located in the Activity
class, that's why you can't access it from your helper class.
If you really need to access your application context from your helper, you should hold a reference to the activity's context and pass it on invocation to the helper.
Escape sequences (and variables too) work inside double quoted and heredoc strings. So change your code to:
echo '<p>' . $unit1 . "</p>\n";
PS: One clarification, single quotes strings do accept two escape sequences:
\'
when you want to use single quote inside single quoted strings\\
when you want to use backslash literallyHere is a sample implementation:

Assuming a simple case, where your field is public
:
List list; // from your method
for(Object x : list) {
Class<?> clazz = x.getClass();
Field field = clazz.getField("fieldName"); //Note, this can throw an exception if the field doesn't exist.
Object fieldValue = field.get(x);
}
But this is pretty ugly, and I left out all of the try-catches, and makes a number of assumptions (public field, reflection available, nice security manager).
If you can change your method to return a List<Foo>
, this becomes very easy because the iterator then can give you type information:
List<Foo> list; //From your method
for(Foo foo:list) {
Object fieldValue = foo.fieldName;
}
Or if you're consuming a Java 1.4 interface where generics aren't available, but you know the type of the objects that should be in the list...
List list;
for(Object x: list) {
if( x instanceof Foo) {
Object fieldValue = ((Foo)x).fieldName;
}
}
No reflection needed :)
HTML : Pass the whole body inside on click
div class="calculate" id="calculate">
<div class="button" id="button" onclick="myCode(this.body)"> CALCULATE ! </div>
</div>
Then write the JavaScript code inside the function "myCode()"
function myCode()
{
var bill = document.getElementById("currency").value ;
var people_count = document.getElementById("number1").value;
var select_value = document.getElementById("select").value;
var calculate = document.getElementById("calculate");
calculate.addEventListener("click" ,function()
{
console.log(bill);
console.log(people_count);
console.log(select_value);
});
}
you will get your values I am using visual studio code editor
A normal variable is set by simply assigning it a value; note that no whitespace is allowed around the =
:
HOME=c
An environment variable is a regular variable that has been marked for export to the environment.
export HOME
HOME=c
You can combine the assignment with the export
statement.
export HOME=c
Use QString's number method (docs are here):
double valueAsDouble = 1.2;
QString valueAsString = QString::number(valueAsDouble);
Check out Google's Gson: http://code.google.com/p/google-gson/
From their website:
Gson gson = new Gson(); // Or use new GsonBuilder().create();
MyType target2 = gson.fromJson(json, MyType.class); // deserializes json into target2
You would just need to make a MyType class (renamed, of course) with all the fields in the json string. It might get a little more complicated when you're doing the arrays, if you prefer to do all of the parsing manually (also pretty easy) check out http://www.json.org/ and download the Java source for the Json parser objects.

Lot of concepts here which will be useful:
List<Object> list = new ArrayList<Object>(Arrays.asList(new String[]{"Java","is","cool"}));
String[] a = new String[list.size()];
list.toArray(a);
Tip to print array of Strings:
System.out.println(Arrays.toString(a));
You may probably do this way
var currentMonth = new Date().getMonth();
var monthNames = ["January", "February", "March", "April", "May", "June",
"July", "August", "September", "October", "November", "December"
];
for(var i = currentMonth-1 ; i<= 4; i++){
console.log(monthNames[i])// make it as an array of objects here
}
According to new Swift 2.0 we should use do try catch. The code would look like this:
var badumSound = NSURL(fileURLWithPath: NSBundle.mainBundle().pathForResource("BadumTss", ofType: "mp3"))
var audioPlayer = AVAudioPlayer()
do {
player = try AVAudioPlayer(contentsOfURL: badumSound)
} catch {
print("No sound found by URL:\(badumSound)")
}
player.prepareToPlay()

I know this is old, but for those having problems in Edge:
Plain JS: window.scrollTop=0;
Unfortunately, scroll()
and scrollTo()
throw errors in Edge.
This is the code you need:
string strInput = "0001234";
strInput = strInput.TrimStart('0');
As another poster said there are a lot of gotchas, especially if the element you are displaying (in this case a menu) has interactive elements. I've found the following method to be fairly robust:
$('#menuscontainer').click(function(event) {
//your code that shows the menus fully
//now set up an event listener so that clicking anywhere outside will close the menu
$('html').click(function(event) {
//check up the tree of the click target to check whether user has clicked outside of menu
if ($(event.target).parents('#menuscontainer').length==0) {
// your code to hide menu
//this event listener has done its job so we can unbind it.
$(this).unbind(event);
}
})
});
Use jQuery....I know you say you're trying to teach someone javascript, but teach him a cleaner technique... for instance, I could:
<select id="navigation">
<option value="unit_01.htm">Unit 1</option>
<option value="#5.2">Bookmark 2</option>
</select>
And with a little jQuery, you could do:
$("#navigation").change(function()
{
document.location.href = $(this).val();
});
Unobtrusive, and with clean separation of logic and UI.
I think the keyword 'static' makes the main method a class method, and class methods have only one copy of it and can be shared by all, and also, it does not require an object for reference. So when the driver class is compiled the main method can be invoked. (I'm just in alphabet level of java, sorry if I'm wrong)

Original: @Rob, TFS has something called "Shelving" that addresses your concern about commiting work-in-progress without it affecting the official build. I realize you see central version control as a hindrance, but with respect to TFS, checking your code into the shelf can be viewed as a strength b/c then the central server has a copy of your work-in-progress in the rare event your local machine crashes or is lost/stolen or you need to switch gears quickly. My point is that TFS should be given proper praise in this area. Also, branching and merging in TFS2010 has been improved from prior versions, and it isn't clear what version you are referring to when you say "... from experience that branching and merging in TFS is not good." Disclaimer: I'm a moderate user of TFS2010.
Edit Dec-5-2011: To the OP, one thing that bothers me about TFS is that it insists on setting all your local files to "read-only" when you're not working on them. If you want to make a change, the flow is that you must "check-out" the file, which just clears the readonly attribute on the file so that TFS knows to keep an eye on it. That's an inconvenient workflow. The way I would prefer it to work is that is just automatically detects if I've made a change and doesn't worry/bother with the file attributes at all. That way, I can modify the file either in Visual Studio, or Notepad, or with whatever tool I please. The version control system should be as transparent as possible in this regard. There is a Windows Explorer Extension (TFS PowerTools) that allows you to work with your files in Windows Explorer, but that doesn't simplify the workflow very much.
For those lured here by title: yes, you can define your own methods in your enum. If you are wondering how to invoke such non-static method, you do it same way as with any other non-static method - you invoke it on instance of type which defines or inherits that method. In case of enums such instances are simply ENUM_CONSTANT
s.
So all you need is EnumType.ENUM_CONSTANT.methodName(arguments)
.
Now lets go back to problem from question. One of solutions could be
public enum Direction {
NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST;
private Direction opposite;
static {
NORTH.opposite = SOUTH;
SOUTH.opposite = NORTH;
EAST.opposite = WEST;
WEST.opposite = EAST;
}
public Direction getOppositeDirection() {
return opposite;
}
}
Now Direction.NORTH.getOppositeDirection()
will return Direction.SOUTH
.
Here is little more "hacky" way to illustrate @jedwards comment but it doesn't feel as flexible as first approach since adding more fields or changing their order will break our code.
public enum Direction {
NORTH, EAST, SOUTH, WEST;
// cached values to avoid recreating such array each time method is called
private static final Direction[] VALUES = values();
public Direction getOppositeDirection() {
return VALUES[(ordinal() + 2) % 4];
}
}
If you want to select the last child and need to be specific on the element type you can use the selector last-of-type
Here is an example:
$("div p:last-of-type").css("border", "3px solid red");
$("div span:last-of-type").css("border", "3px solid red");
<div id="example">
<p>This is paragraph 1</p>
<p>This is paragraph 2</p>
<span>This is paragraph 3</span>
<span>This is paragraph 4</span>
<p>This is paragraph 5</p>
</div>
In the example above both Paragraph 4 and Paragraph 5 will have a red border since Paragraph 5 is the last element of "p" type in the div and Paragraph 4 is the last "span" in the div.
Even though you define android:onClick = "DoIt" in XML, you need to make sure your activity (or view context) has public method defined with exact same name and View as parameter. Android wires your definitions with this implementation in activity. At the end, implementation will have same code which you wrote in anonymous inner class. So, in simple words instead of having inner class and listener attachement in activity, you will simply have a public method with implementation code.
Nope, no destructors here. The reason is that all Java objects are heap allocated and garbage collected. Without explicit deallocation (i.e. C++'s delete operator) there is no sensible way to implement real destructors.
Java does support finalizers, but they are meant to be used only as a safeguard for objects holding a handle to native resources like sockets, file handles, window handles, etc. When the garbage collector collects an object without a finalizer it simply marks the memory region as free and that's it. When the object has a finalizer, it's first copied into a temporary location (remember, we're garbage collecting here), then it's enqueued into a waiting-to-be-finalized queue and then a Finalizer thread polls the queue with very low priority and runs the finalizer.
When the application exits, the JVM stops without waiting for the pending objects to be finalized, so there practically no guarantees that your finalizers will ever run.
You have 9 fields listed, but only 8 values. Try adding the method.
Not a definite answer but too much to fit in comments:
I hypothesize they gave you a cert that either has a wrong issuer (although their server could use a more specific alert code for that) or a wrong subject. We know the cert matches your privatekey -- because both curl
and openssl client
paired them without complaining about a mismatch; but we don't actually know it matches their desired CA(s) -- because your curl uses openssl and openssl SSL client does NOT enforce that a configured client cert matches certreq.CAs.
Do openssl x509 <clientcert.pem -noout -subject -issuer
and the same on the cert from the test P12 that works. Do openssl s_client
(or check the one you did) and look under Acceptable client certificate CA names
; the name there or one of them should match (exactly!) the issuer(s) of your certs. If not, that's most likely your problem and you need to check with them you submitted your CSR to the correct place and in the correct way. Perhaps they have different regimes in different regions, or business lines, or test vs prod, or active vs pending, etc.
If the issuer of your cert does match desiredCAs, compare its subject to the working (test-P12) one: are they in similar format? are there any components in the working one not present in yours? If they allow it, try generating and submitting a new CSR with a subject name exactly the same as the test-P12 one, or as close as you can get, and see if that produces a cert that works better. (You don't have to generate a new key to do this, but if you choose to, keep track of which certs match which keys so you don't get them mixed up.) If that doesn't help look at the certificate extensions with openssl x509 <cert -noout -text
for any difference(s) that might reasonably be related to subject authorization, like KeyUsage, ExtendedKeyUsage, maybe Policy, maybe Constraints, maybe even something nonstandard.
If all else fails, ask the server operator(s) what their logs say about the problem, or if you have access look at the logs yourself.
height:100% works if the parent container has a specified height property else, it won't work
In the first step, it will work fine as the value of a
will be 1 and that of b
will be 2 but as 2+1 will be returned and in the next step the value of b
will be the return value from step 1 i.e 3
and so b.x
will be undefined...and undefined + anyNumber will be NaN and that is why you are getting that result.
arr.reduce(function(a,b){return a + b.x},0);
Abstraction
We use many abstractions in our day-to-day lives.Consider a car.Most of us have an abstract view of how a car works.We know how to interact with it to get it to do what we want it to do: we put in gas, turn a key, press some pedals, and so on. But we don't necessarily understand what is going on inside the car to make it move and we don't need to. Millions of us use cars everyday without understanding the details of how they work.Abstraction helps us get to school or work!
A program can be designed as a set of interacting abstractions. In Java, these abstractions are captured in classes. The creator of a class obviusly has to know its interface, just as the driver of a car can use the vehicle without knowing how the engine works.
Encapsulation
Consider a Banking system.Banking system have properties like account no,account type,balance ..etc. If someone is trying to change the balance of the account,attempt can be successful if there is no encapsulation. Therefore encapsulation allows class to have complete control over their properties.
Use the in_array()
function.
$array = array('kitchen', 'bedroom', 'living_room', 'dining_room');
if (in_array('kitchen', $array)) {
echo 'this array contains kitchen';
}
To add spacing on the entire UICollectionView
:
UICollectionViewFlowLayout *flow = (UICollectionViewFlowLayout*) collection.collectionViewLayout;
flow.sectionInset = UIEdgeInsetsMake(topMargin, left, bottom, right);
To play with the spacing between elements of the same row (column if you're scrolling horizontally), and their sizes:
flow.itemSize = ...;
flow.minimumInteritemSpacing = ...;
You can install the python-distutils
package. sudo apt-get install python-distutils
should suffice.
Use the .readline()
method (Python 2 docs, Python 3 docs):
with open('myfile.txt') as f:
first_line = f.readline()
Some notes:
f.readline()
will contain a trailing newline. You may wish to use f.readline().strip()
instead to remove the newline.with
statement automatically closes the file again when the block ends.with
statement only works in Python 2.5 and up, and in Python 2.5 you need to use from __future__ import with_statement
Use preg_grep
$array = preg_grep(
'/(my\n+string\n+)/i',
array( 'file' , 'my string => name', 'this')
);
The issue as previously mentioned is the ngIf
which is causing the view to be undefined. The answer is to use ViewChildren
instead of ViewChild
. I had similar issue where I didn't want a grid to be shown until all the reference data had been loaded.
html:
<section class="well" *ngIf="LookupData != null">
<h4 class="ra-well-title">Results</h4>
<kendo-grid #searchGrid> </kendo-grid>
</section>
Component Code
import { Component, ViewChildren, OnInit, AfterViewInit, QueryList } from '@angular/core';
import { GridComponent } from '@progress/kendo-angular-grid';
export class SearchComponent implements OnInit, AfterViewInit
{
//other code emitted for clarity
@ViewChildren("searchGrid")
public Grids: QueryList<GridComponent>
private SearchGrid: GridComponent
public ngAfterViewInit(): void
{
this.Grids.changes.subscribe((comps: QueryList <GridComponent>) =>
{
this.SearchGrid = comps.first;
});
}
}
Here we are using ViewChildren
on which you can listen for changes. In this case any children with the reference #searchGrid
. Hope this helps.
I've had good experience with nanotime. It provides wall-clock time as two longs (seconds since the epoch and nanoseconds within that second), using a JNI library. It's available with the JNI part precompiled for both Windows and Linux.
Try this:
$('button:eq(0)',$('#dialog_id').dialog.buttons).button('disable');
Assuming you want to get columns 1 and 9 with that code snippet, it should be:
extractedData = data[:,[1,9]]
Based off of other answers I wrote my own and it doesn't use patterns or parsing with exception checking.
It checks for a maximum of one minus sign and checks for a maximum of one decimal point.
Here are some examples and their results:
"1", "-1", "-1.5" and "-1.556" return true
"1..5", "1A.5", "1.5D", "-" and "--1" return false
Note: If needed you can modify this to accept a Locale parameter and pass that into the DecimalFormatSymbols.getInstance() calls to use a specific Locale instead of the current one.
public static boolean isNumeric(final String input) {
//Check for null or blank string
if(input == null || input.isBlank()) return false;
//Retrieve the minus sign and decimal separator characters from the current Locale
final var localeMinusSign = DecimalFormatSymbols.getInstance().getMinusSign();
final var localeDecimalSeparator = DecimalFormatSymbols.getInstance().getDecimalSeparator();
//Check if first character is a minus sign
final var isNegative = input.charAt(0) == localeMinusSign;
//Check if string is not just a minus sign
if (isNegative && input.length() == 1) return false;
var isDecimalSeparatorFound = false;
//If the string has a minus sign ignore the first character
final var startCharIndex = isNegative ? 1 : 0;
//Check if each character is a number or a decimal separator
//and make sure string only has a maximum of one decimal separator
for (var i = startCharIndex; i < input.length(); i++) {
if(!Character.isDigit(input.charAt(i))) {
if(input.charAt(i) == localeDecimalSeparator && !isDecimalSeparatorFound) {
isDecimalSeparatorFound = true;
} else return false;
}
}
return true;
}
You are using POST method, but are you providing an array of data? E.g.
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1);
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $data);
When this happened to me it was because my script had DOS line endings, which always messes up the shebang line at the top of the script. I changed it to Unix line endings and it worked.
public static int[] strArrayToIntArray(String[] a){
int[] b = new int[a.length];
for (int i = 0; i < a.length; i++) {
b[i] = Integer.parseInt(a[i]);
}
return b;
}
This is a simple function, that should help you. You can use him like this:
int[] arr = strArrayToIntArray(/*YOUR STR ARRAY*/);
instead of this line -
int hours = stoi(hours0);
write this -
int hours = atoi(hours0.c_str());
Reference : int atoi(const char *str)
What you can do is programmatically trigger keyevent listeners by firing keyevents. It makes sense to allow this from a sandboxed security-perspective. Using this ability, you can then apply a typical observer-pattern. You could call this method "simulating".
Below is an example of how to accomplish this in the W3C DOM standard along with jQuery:
function triggerClick() {
var event = new MouseEvent('click', {
'view': window,
'bubbles': true,
'cancelable': true
});
var cb = document.querySelector('input[type=submit][name=btnK]');
var canceled = !cb.dispatchEvent(event);
if (canceled) {
// preventDefault was called and the event cancelled
} else {
// insert your event-logic here...
}
}
This example is adapted from: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/Events/Creating_and_triggering_events
In jQuery:
jQuery('input[type=submit][name=btnK]')
.trigger({
type: 'keypress',
which: character.charCodeAt(0 /*the key to trigger*/)
});
But as of recently, there is no [DOM] way to actually trigger keyevents leaving the browser-sandbox. And all major browser vendors will adhere to that security concept.
As for plugins such as Adobe Flash - which are based on the NPAPI-, and permit bypassing the sandbox: these are phasing-out ; Firefox.
Detailed Explanation:
You cannot and you must not for security reasons (as Pekka already pointed out). You will always require a user interaction in between. Additionally imagine the chance of the browser vendors getting sued by users, as various programmatic keyboard events will have led to spoofing attacks.
See this post for alternatives and more details. There is always the flash based copy-and-paste. Here is an elegant example. At the same time it is a testimony why the web is moving away from plugin vendors.
There is a similar security mindset applied in case of the opt-in CORS policy to access remote content programmatically.
The answer is:
There is no way to programmatically trigger input keys in the sandboxed browser environment under normal circumstances.
Bottomline: I am not saying it will not be possible in the future, under special browser-modes and/or privileges towards the end-goal of gaming, or similar user-experiences. However prior to entering such modes, the user will be asked for permissions and risks, similar to the Fullscreen API model.
Useful: In the context of KeyCodes, this tool and keycode mapping will come in handy.
Disclosure: The answer is based on the answer here.
Most likely, the item is being selected, you just can't tell because a different control has the focus. There are a couple of different ways that you can solve this, depending on the design of your application.
The simple solution is to set the focus to the ListView
first whenever your form is displayed. The user typically sets focus to controls by clicking on them. However, you can also specify which controls gets the focus programmatically. One way of doing this is by setting the tab index of the control to 0 (the lowest value indicates the control that will have the initial focus). A second possibility is to use the following line of code in your form's Load
event, or immediately after you set the Selected
property:
myListView.Select();
The problem with this solution is that the selected item will no longer appear highlighted when the user sets focus to a different control on your form (such as a textbox or a button).
To fix that, you will need to set the HideSelection
property of the ListView
control to False. That will cause the selected item to remain highlighted, even when the control loses the focus.
When the control has the focus, the selected item's background will be painted with the system highlight color. When the control does not have the focus, the selected item's background will be painted in the system color used for grayed (or disabled) text.
You can set this property either at design time, or through code:
myListView.HideSelection = false;
SYSDATE
is an Oracle only function.
The ANSI standard defines current_date
or current_timestamp
which is supported by Postgres and documented in the manual:
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/functions-datetime.html#FUNCTIONS-DATETIME-CURRENT
(Btw: Oracle supports CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
as well)
You should pay attention to the difference between current_timestamp
, statement_timestamp()
and clock_timestamp()
(which is explained in the manual, see the above link)
This statement:
select up_time from exam where up_time like sysdate
Does not make any sense at all. Neither in Oracle nor in Postgres. If you want to get rows from "today", you need something like:
select up_time
from exam
where up_time = current_date
Note that in Oracle you would probably want trunc(up_time) = trunc(sysdate)
to get rid of the time part that is always included in Oracle.
There are two separate things here:
For example:
{
vector<MyObject> v;
// do some stuff, push some objects onto v
v.clear(); // 1
// maybe do some more stuff
} // 2
At 1
, you clear v
: this destroys all the objects it was storing. Each gets its destructor called, if your wrote one, and anything owned by that MyObject
is now released.
However, vector v
has the right to keep the raw storage around in case you want it later.
If you decide to push some more things into it between 1
and 2
, this saves time as it can reuse the old memory.
At 2
, the vector v
goes out of scope: any objects you pushed into it since 1
will be destroyed (as if you'd explicitly called clear again), but now the underlying storage is also released (v
won't be around to reuse it any more).
If I change the example so v
becomes a pointer to a dynamically-allocated vector, you need to explicitly delete it, as the pointer going out of scope at 2
doesn't do that for you. It's better to use something like std::unique_ptr
in that case, but if you don't and v
is leaked, the storage it allocated will be leaked as well. As above, you need to make sure v
is deleted, and calling clear
isn't sufficient.
Use aggregation on name
and get name
with count > 1
:
db.collection.aggregate([
{"$group" : { "_id": "$name", "count": { "$sum": 1 } } },
{"$match": {"_id" :{ "$ne" : null } , "count" : {"$gt": 1} } },
{"$project": {"name" : "$_id", "_id" : 0} }
]);
To sort the results by most to least duplicates:
db.collection.aggregate([
{"$group" : { "_id": "$name", "count": { "$sum": 1 } } },
{"$match": {"_id" :{ "$ne" : null } , "count" : {"$gt": 1} } },
{"$sort": {"count" : -1} },
{"$project": {"name" : "$_id", "_id" : 0} }
]);
To use with another column name than "name", change "$name" to "$column_name"
Use output buffering:
<?php
ob_start();
var_dump($someVar);
$result = ob_get_clean();
?>
This sounds more like you want a tooltip for the link selected. There are many jQuery tooltips, try out jQuery qTip. It has a lot of options and is easy to change the styles.
Otherwise if you want to do this yourself you can use the jQuery .position()
. More info about .position()
is on http://api.jquery.com/position/
$("#element").position();
will return the current position of an element relative to the offset parent.
There is also the jQuery .offset(); which will return the position relative to the document.
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
document.onkeydown = function(e){
if (e.ctrlKey &&
(e.keyCode === 67 ||
e.keyCode === 86 ||
e.keyCode === 85 ||
e.keyCode === 117)) {
return false;
} else {
return true;
}
};
});
</script>
The breakdown of your declaration and its members is somewhat littered:
Remove the typedef
The typedef
is neither required, not desired for class/struct declarations in C++. Your members have no knowledge of the declaration of pos
as-written, which is core to your current compilation failure.
Change this:
typedef struct {....} pos;
To this:
struct pos { ... };
Remove extraneous inlines
You're both declaring and defining your member operators within the class definition itself. The inline
keyword is not needed so long as your implementations remain in their current location (the class definition)
Return references to *this
where appropriate
This is related to an abundance of copy-constructions within your implementation that should not be done without a strong reason for doing so. It is related to the expression ideology of the following:
a = b = c;
This assigns c
to b
, and the resulting value b
is then assigned to a
. This is not equivalent to the following code, contrary to what you may think:
a = c;
b = c;
Therefore, your assignment operator should be implemented as such:
pos& operator =(const pos& a)
{
x = a.x;
y = a.y;
return *this;
}
Even here, this is not needed. The default copy-assignment operator will do the above for you free of charge (and code! woot!)
Note: there are times where the above should be avoided in favor of the copy/swap idiom. Though not needed for this specific case, it may look like this:
pos& operator=(pos a) // by-value param invokes class copy-ctor
{
this->swap(a);
return *this;
}
Then a swap method is implemented:
void pos::swap(pos& obj)
{
// TODO: swap object guts with obj
}
You do this to utilize the class copy-ctor to make a copy, then utilize exception-safe swapping to perform the exchange. The result is the incoming copy departs (and destroys) your object's old guts, while your object assumes ownership of there's. Read more the copy/swap idiom here, along with the pros and cons therein.
Pass objects by const reference when appropriate
All of your input parameters to all of your members are currently making copies of whatever is being passed at invoke. While it may be trivial for code like this, it can be very expensive for larger object types. An exampleis given here:
Change this:
bool operator==(pos a) const{
if(a.x==x && a.y== y)return true;
else return false;
}
To this: (also simplified)
bool operator==(const pos& a) const
{
return (x == a.x && y == a.y);
}
No copies of anything are made, resulting in more efficient code.
Finally, in answering your question, what is the difference between a member function or operator declared as const
and one that is not?
A const
member declares that invoking that member will not modifying the underlying object (mutable declarations not withstanding). Only const
member functions can be invoked against const
objects, or const
references and pointers. For example, your operator +()
does not modify your local object and thus should be declared as const
. Your operator =()
clearly modifies the local object, and therefore the operator should not be const
.
Summary
struct pos
{
int x;
int y;
// default + parameterized constructor
pos(int x=0, int y=0)
: x(x), y(y)
{
}
// assignment operator modifies object, therefore non-const
pos& operator=(const pos& a)
{
x=a.x;
y=a.y;
return *this;
}
// addop. doesn't modify object. therefore const.
pos operator+(const pos& a) const
{
return pos(a.x+x, a.y+y);
}
// equality comparison. doesn't modify object. therefore const.
bool operator==(const pos& a) const
{
return (x == a.x && y == a.y);
}
};
EDIT OP wanted to see how an assignment operator chain works. The following demonstrates how this:
a = b = c;
Is equivalent to this:
b = c;
a = b;
And that this does not always equate to this:
a = c;
b = c;
Sample code:

It represents the scope (the lifetime) of the bean. This is easier to understand if you are familiar with "under the covers" working of a basic servlet web application: How do servlets work? Instantiation, sessions, shared variables and multithreading.
@Request/View/Flow/Session/ApplicationScoped
A @RequestScoped
bean lives as long as a single HTTP request-response cycle (note that an Ajax request counts as a single HTTP request too). A @ViewScoped
bean lives as long as you're interacting with the same JSF view by postbacks which call action methods returning null
/void
without any navigation/redirect. A @FlowScoped
bean lives as long as you're navigating through the specified collection of views registered in the flow configuration file. A @SessionScoped
bean lives as long as the established HTTP session. An @ApplicationScoped
bean lives as long as the web application runs. Note that the CDI @Model
is basically a stereotype for @Named @RequestScoped
, so same rules apply.
Which scope to choose depends solely on the data (the state) the bean holds and represents. Use @RequestScoped
for simple and non-ajax forms/presentations. Use @ViewScoped
for rich ajax-enabled dynamic views (ajaxbased validation, rendering, dialogs, etc). Use @FlowScoped
for the "wizard" ("questionnaire") pattern of collecting input data spread over multiple pages. Use @SessionScoped
for client specific data, such as the logged-in user and user preferences (language, etc). Use @ApplicationScoped
for application wide data/constants, such as dropdown lists which are the same for everyone, or managed beans without any instance variables and having only methods.
Abusing an @ApplicationScoped
bean for session/view/request scoped data would make it to be shared among all users, so anyone else can see each other's data which is just plain wrong. Abusing a @SessionScoped
bean for view/request scoped data would make it to be shared among all tabs/windows in a single browser session, so the enduser may experience inconsitenties when interacting with every view after switching between tabs which is bad for user experience. Abusing a @RequestScoped
bean for view scoped data would make view scoped data to be reinitialized to default on every single (ajax) postback, causing possibly non-working forms (see also points 4 and 5 here). Abusing a @ViewScoped
bean for request, session or application scoped data, and abusing a @SessionScoped
bean for application scoped data doesn't affect the client, but it unnecessarily occupies server memory and is plain inefficient.
Note that the scope should rather not be chosen based on performance implications, unless you really have a low memory footprint and want to go completely stateless; you'd need to use exclusively @RequestScoped
beans and fiddle with request parameters to maintain the client's state. Also note that when you have a single JSF page with differently scoped data, then it's perfectly valid to put them in separate backing beans in a scope matching the data's scope. The beans can just access each other via @ManagedProperty
in case of JSF managed beans or @Inject
in case of CDI managed beans.
@CustomScoped/NoneScoped/Dependent
It's not mentioned in your question, but (legacy) JSF also supports @CustomScoped
and @NoneScoped
, which are rarely used in real world. The @CustomScoped
must refer a custom Map<K, Bean>
implementation in some broader scope which has overridden Map#put()
and/or Map#get()
in order to have more fine grained control over bean creation and/or destroy.
The JSF @NoneScoped
and CDI @Dependent
basically lives as long as a single EL-evaluation on the bean. Imagine a login form with two input fields referring a bean property and a command button referring a bean action, thus with in total three EL expressions, then effectively three instances will be created. One with the username set, one with the password set and one on which the action is invoked. You normally want to use this scope only on beans which should live as long as the bean where it's being injected. So if a @NoneScoped
or @Dependent
is injected in a @SessionScoped
, then it will live as long as the @SessionScoped
bean.
As last, JSF also supports the flash scope. It is backed by a short living cookie which is associated with a data entry in the session scope. Before the redirect, a cookie will be set on the HTTP response with a value which is uniquely associated with the data entry in the session scope. After the redirect, the presence of the flash scope cookie will be checked and the data entry associated with the cookie will be removed from the session scope and be put in the request scope of the redirected request. Finally the cookie will be removed from the HTTP response. This way the redirected request has access to request scoped data which was been prepared in the initial request.
This is actually not available as a managed bean scope, i.e. there's no such thing as @FlashScoped
. The flash scope is only available as a map via ExternalContext#getFlash()
in managed beans and #{flash}
in EL.
The scoping is correct as you've noted. However, you are not calling the inner
function anywhere.
You can do either:
function outer() {
// when you define it this way, the inner function will be accessible only from
// inside the outer function
function inner() {
alert("hi");
}
inner(); // call it
}
Or
function outer() {
this.inner = function() {
alert("hi");
}
}
<input type="button" onclick="(new outer()).inner();" value="ACTION">?

Using @fireant's idea, I wrote up a function to handle overlays. This works well for any position argument (including negative positions).
def overlay_image_alpha(img, img_overlay, pos, alpha_mask):
"""Overlay img_overlay on top of img at the position specified by
pos and blend using alpha_mask.
Alpha mask must contain values within the range [0, 1] and be the
same size as img_overlay.
"""
x, y = pos
# Image ranges
y1, y2 = max(0, y), min(img.shape[0], y + img_overlay.shape[0])
x1, x2 = max(0, x), min(img.shape[1], x + img_overlay.shape[1])
# Overlay ranges
y1o, y2o = max(0, -y), min(img_overlay.shape[0], img.shape[0] - y)
x1o, x2o = max(0, -x), min(img_overlay.shape[1], img.shape[1] - x)
# Exit if nothing to do
if y1 >= y2 or x1 >= x2 or y1o >= y2o or x1o >= x2o:
return
channels = img.shape[2]
alpha = alpha_mask[y1o:y2o, x1o:x2o]
alpha_inv = 1.0 - alpha
for c in range(channels):
img[y1:y2, x1:x2, c] = (alpha * img_overlay[y1o:y2o, x1o:x2o, c] +
alpha_inv * img[y1:y2, x1:x2, c])
Usage is:
overlay_image_alpha(img_large,
img_small[:, :, 0:3],
(x, y),
img_small[:, :, 3] / 255.0)

Below, is the most clean, comprehensible way of merging multiple dataframe if complex queries aren't involved.
Just simply merge with DATE as the index and merge using OUTER method (to get all the data).
import pandas as pd
from functools import reduce
df1 = pd.read_table('file1.csv', sep=',')
df2 = pd.read_table('file2.csv', sep=',')
df3 = pd.read_table('file3.csv', sep=',')
Now, basically load all the files you have as data frame into a list. And, then merge the files using merge
or reduce
function.
# compile the list of dataframes you want to merge
data_frames = [df1, df2, df3]
Note: you can add as many data-frames inside the above list. This is the good part about this method. No complex queries involved.
To keep the values that belong to the same date you need to merge it on the DATE
df_merged = reduce(lambda left,right: pd.merge(left,right,on=['DATE'],
how='outer'), data_frames)
# if you want to fill the values that don't exist in the lines of merged dataframe simply fill with required strings as
df_merged = reduce(lambda left,right: pd.merge(left,right,on=['DATE'],
how='outer'), data_frames).fillna('void')
Then write the merged data to the csv file if desired.
pd.DataFrame.to_csv(df_merged, 'merged.txt', sep=',', na_rep='.', index=False)
This should give you
DATE VALUE1 VALUE2 VALUE3 ....
Hibernate queries are case sensitive with property names (because they end up relying on getter/setter methods on the @Entity
).
Make sure you refer to the property as fileName
in the Criteria query, not filename
.
Specifically, Hibernate will call the getter method of the filename
property when executing that Criteria query, so it will look for a method called getFilename()
. But the property is called FileName
and the getter getFileName()
.
So, change the projection like so:
criteria.setProjection(Projections.property("fileName"));
While exporting your source into a jar, make sure you select runnable jar option from the options. Then select if you want to package all the dependency jars or just include them directly in the jar file. It depends on the project that you are working on.
You then run the jar directly by java -jar example.jar.
You can't effectively use Distinct
on a collection of objects (without additional work). I will explain why.
It uses the default equality comparer,
Default
, to compare values.
For objects that means it uses the default equation method to compare objects (source). That is on their hash code. And since your objects don't implement the GetHashCode()
and Equals
methods, it will check on the reference of the object, which are not distinct.
Solution : SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSheet().getRange('F2').setValue('hello')
Explanation :
Setting value in a cell in spreadsheet to which script is attached
SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName(SHEET_NAME).getRange(RANGE).setValue(VALUE);
Setting value in a cell in sheet which is open currently and to which script is attached
SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getActiveSheet().getRange(RANGE).setValue(VALUE);
Setting value in a cell in some spreadsheet to which script is NOT attached (Destination sheet name known)
SpreadsheetApp.openById(SHEET_ID).getSheetByName(SHEET_NAME).getRange(RANGE).setValue(VALUE);
Setting value in a cell in some spreadsheet to which script is NOT attached (Destination sheet position known)
SpreadsheetApp.openById(SHEET_ID).getSheets()[POSITION].getRange(RANGE).setValue(VALUE);
These are constants, you must define them yourself
SHEET_ID
SHEET_NAME
POSITION
VALUE
RANGE
By script attached to a sheet I mean that script is residing in the script editor of that sheet. Not attached means not residing in the script editor of that sheet. It can be in any other place.

Honestly I didnt bother to deal with the grants and this worked even without the privileges:
echo "select * from employee" | mysql --host=HOST --port=PORT --user=UserName --password=Password DATABASE.SCHEMA > output.txt
A very simple way to read an external script into an sqlite database in python is using executescript()
:
import sqlite3
conn = sqlite3.connect('csc455_HW3.db')
with open('ZooDatabase.sql', 'r') as sql_file:
conn.executescript(sql_file.read())
conn.close()
Another solution is to use "offsetTop", like this:
var elementPosition = document.getElementById('id').offsetTop;
window.scrollTo({
top: elementPosition - 10, //add your necessary value
behavior: "smooth" //Smooth transition to roll
});
If you want to create a small dots, just use icon from font awesome.

SendRedirect()
will search the content between the servers. it is slow because it has to intimate the browser by sending the URL of the content. then browser will create a new request for the content within the same server or in another one.
RquestDispatcher
is for searching the content within the server i think. its the server side process and it is faster compare to the SendRedirect()
method. but the thing is that it will not intimate the browser in which server it is searching the required date or content, neither it will not ask the browser to change the URL in URL tab. so it causes little inconvenience to the user.
Aux routes syntax has changed with the new RC.3 router.
There are some known issues with aux routes but basic support is available.
You can define routes to show components in a named <router-outlet>
Route config
{path: 'chat', component: ChatCmp, outlet: 'aux'}
Named router outlet
<router-outlet name="aux">
Navigate aux routes
this._router.navigateByUrl("/crisis-center(aux:chat;open=true)");
It seems navigating aux routes from routerLink is not yet supported
<a [routerLink]="'/team/3(aux:/chat;open=true)'">Test</a>
<a [routerLink]="['/team/3', {outlets: {aux: 'chat'}}]">c</a>

np.where
returns a tuple of length equal to the dimension of the numpy ndarray on which it is called (in other words ndim
) and each item of tuple is a numpy ndarray of indices of all those values in the initial ndarray for which the condition is True. (Please don't confuse dimension with shape)
For example:
x=np.arange(9).reshape(3,3)
print(x)
array([[0, 1, 2],
[3, 4, 5],
[6, 7, 8]])
y = np.where(x>4)
print(y)
array([1, 2, 2, 2], dtype=int64), array([2, 0, 1, 2], dtype=int64))
y is a tuple of length 2 because x.ndim
is 2. The 1st item in tuple contains row numbers of all elements greater than 4 and the 2nd item contains column numbers of all items greater than 4. As you can see, [1,2,2,2] corresponds to row numbers of 5,6,7,8 and [2,0,1,2] corresponds to column numbers of 5,6,7,8
Note that the ndarray is traversed along first dimension(row-wise).
Similarly,
x=np.arange(27).reshape(3,3,3)
np.where(x>4)
will return a tuple of length 3 because x has 3 dimensions.
But wait, there's more to np.where!
when two additional arguments are added to np.where
; it will do a replace operation for all those pairwise row-column combinations which are obtained by the above tuple.
x=np.arange(9).reshape(3,3)
y = np.where(x>4, 1, 0)
print(y)
array([[0, 0, 0],
[0, 0, 1],
[1, 1, 1]])
In some contexts, you can leverage margin settings to effectively specify "100% width minus N pixels". See the accepted answer to this question.
And if you are already using ES6/ES2015 then you can also use an arrow function. It is basically the same as using a normal anonymous function but shorter.
expect(() => model.get('z')).to.throw('Property does not exist in model schema.');
I was reading something related to this try if it is useful.
1.Define a push function inside a object.
let obj={push:function push(element){ [].push.call(this,element)}};
Now you can push elements like an array
obj.push(1)
obj.push({a:1})
obj.push([1,2,3])
This will produce this object
obj={
0: 1
1: {a: 1}
2: (3) [1, 2, 3]
length: 3
}
Notice the elements are added with indexes and also see that there is a new length property added to the object.This will be useful to find the length of the object too.This works because of the generic nature of push()
function
Use Tortoise's RENAME command, and type in a relative path ("folder/file.ext").
If an object's property may refer to some other object then you can test that for undefined before trying to use its properties:
if (thing && thing.foo)
alert(thing.foo.bar);
I could update my answer to better reflect your situation if you show some actual code, but possibly something like this:
function someFunc(parameterName) {
if (parameterName && parameterName.foo)
alert(parameterName.foo.bar);
}
You can use the DateTime.Parse method to get a DateTime object and then check its Month property. Do something like this:
int month = DateTime.Parse("1." + monthName + " 2008").Month;
The trick is to build a valid date to create a DateTime object.
From Wikipedia Media type,
A media type is composed of a type, a subtype, and optional parameters. As an example, an HTML file might be designated text/html; charset=UTF-8.
Media type consists of top-level type name and sub-type name, which is further structured into so-called "trees".
top-level type name / subtype name [ ; parameters ]
top-level type name / [ tree. ] subtype name [ +suffix ] [ ; parameters ]
All media types should be registered using the IANA registration procedures. Currently the following trees are created: standard
, vendor
, personal
or vanity
, unregistered x.
Standard:
Media types in the standards tree do not use any tree facet (prefix).
type / media type name [+suffix]
Examples: "application/xhtml+xml", "image/png"
Vendor:
Vendor tree is used for media types associated with publicly available products. It uses
vnd.
facet.
type / vnd. media type name [+suffix] - used in the case of well-known producer
type / vnd. producer's name followed by media type name [+suffix] - producer's name must be approved by IANA
type / vnd. producer's name followed by product's name [+suffix] - producer's name must be approved by IANA
Personal or Vanity tree:
Personal or Vanity tree includes media types created experimentally or as part of products that are not distributed commercially. It uses
prs.
facet.
type / prs. media type name [+suffix]
Unregistered x. tree:
The "x." tree may be used for media types intended exclusively for use in private, local environments and only with the active agreement of the parties exchanging them. Types in this tree cannot be registered.
According to the previous version of RFC 6838 - obsoleted RFC 2048 (published in November 1996) it should rarely, if ever, be necessary to use unregistered experimental types, and as such use of both "x-" and "x." forms is discouraged. Previous versions of that RFC - RFC 1590 and RFC 1521 stated that the use of "x-" notation for the sub-type name may be used for unregistered and private sub-types, but this recommendation was obsoleted in November 1996.
type / x. media type name [+suffix]
So its clear that the standard type MIME type application/pdf
is the appropriate one to use while you should avoid using the obsolete and unregistered x-
media type as stated in RFC 2048 and RFC 6838.
Yes - it means you're using \n
as the line break instead of \r\n
. Notepad only understands the latter.
(Note that Environment.NewLine
suggested by others is fine if you want the platform default - but if you're serving from Mono and definitely want \r\n
, you should specify it explicitly.)
just edit wp_user table with your phpmyadmin, and choose MD5 on Function field then input your new password, save it (go button).
In Java 8 that parameter is commonly used to print a warning message like this one:
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=512m; support was removed in 8.0
The reason why you get this message in Java 8 is because Permgen has been replaced by Metaspace to address some of PermGen's drawbacks (as you were able to see for yourself, one of those drawbacks is that it had a fixed size).
FYI: an article on Metaspace: http://java-latte.blogspot.in/2014/03/metaspace-in-java-8.html

Any JS code which executes and deals with DOM elements should execute after the DOM elements have been created. JS code is interpreted from top to down as layed out in the HTML. So, if there is a tag before the DOM elements, the JS code within script tag will execute as the browser parses the HTML page.
So, in your case, you can put your DOM interacting code inside a function so that only function is defined but not executed.
Then you can add an event listener for document load to execute the function.
That will give you something like:
<script>
function init() {
var myButton = document.getElementById("myButton");
var myTextfield = document.getElementById("myTextfield");
myButton.onclick = function() {
var userName = myTextfield.value;
greetUser(userName);
}
}
function greetUser(userName) {
var greeting = "Hello " + userName + "!";
document.getElementsByTagName ("h2")[0].innerHTML = greeting;
}
document.addEventListener('readystatechange', function() {
if (document.readyState === "complete") {
init();
}
});

I too faced the same problem, But accidentally i written the without writting the ,the previous one should go inside this tags. thus the 'Configuration System Failed to Initialize' error was arising. Hope it will help
You found one answer, i.e. eval(parse())
. You can also investigate do.call()
which is often simpler to implement. Keep in mind the useful as.name()
tool as well, for converting strings to variable names.
And you can use HTML5's autofocus attribute (works in all current browsers except IE9 and below). Only call your script if it's IE9 or earlier, or an older version of other browsers.
<input type="text" name="fname" autofocus>
Swift 4: Use following code
let number = 2.4
let string = String(format: "%.2f", number)
I got the same error and resolved it by giving enough permissions to the folder. I gave full permissions by (you can try limited permissions which is enough for eclipse to run tomcat)
sudo chmod -R 777 apache-tomcat-8.5.33/
FYI, I encountered this error on my mac, but I think it should be same for ubuntu system too.
Do not use "each". It is used for operations and changes in the same element. Use "map" to extract data from the element body and using it somewhere else.
If you want the latest file in the directory and you are using only the LastWriteTime
to determine the latest file, you can do something like below:
gci path | sort LastWriteTime | select -last 1
On the other hand, if you want to only rely on the names that have the dates in them, you should be able to something similar
gci path | select -last 1
Also, if there are directories in the directory, you might want to add a ?{-not $_.PsIsContainer}

Your command does not work because the redirection is performed by your shell which does not have the permission to write to /root/test.out
. The redirection of the output is not performed by sudo.
There are multiple solutions:
Run a shell with sudo and give the command to it by using the -c
option:
sudo sh -c 'ls -hal /root/ > /root/test.out'
Create a script with your commands and run that script with sudo:
#!/bin/sh
ls -hal /root/ > /root/test.out
Run sudo ls.sh
. See Steve Bennett's answer if you don't want to create a temporary file.
Launch a shell with sudo -s
then run your commands:
[nobody@so]$ sudo -s
[root@so]# ls -hal /root/ > /root/test.out
[root@so]# ^D
[nobody@so]$
Use sudo tee
(if you have to escape a lot when using the -c
option):
sudo ls -hal /root/ | sudo tee /root/test.out > /dev/null
The redirect to /dev/null
is needed to stop tee from outputting to the screen. To append instead of overwriting the output file
(>>
), use tee -a
or tee --append
(the last one is specific to GNU coreutils).
Thanks go to Jd, Adam J. Forster and Johnathan for the second, third and fourth solutions.

The Subscription class has an interesting feature:
Represents a disposable resource, such as the execution of an Observable. A Subscription has one important method, unsubscribe, that takes no argument and just disposes the resource held by the subscription.
Additionally, subscriptions may be grouped together through the add() method, which will attach a child Subscription to the current Subscription. When a Subscription is unsubscribed, all its children (and its grandchildren) will be unsubscribed as well.
You can create an aggregate Subscription object that groups all your subscriptions.
You do this by creating an empty Subscription and adding subscriptions to it using its add()
method. When your component is destroyed, you only need to unsubscribe the aggregate subscription.
@Component({ ... })
export class SmartComponent implements OnInit, OnDestroy {
private subscriptions = new Subscription();
constructor(private heroService: HeroService) {
}
ngOnInit() {
this.subscriptions.add(this.heroService.getHeroes().subscribe(heroes => this.heroes = heroes));
this.subscriptions.add(/* another subscription */);
this.subscriptions.add(/* and another subscription */);
this.subscriptions.add(/* and so on */);
}
ngOnDestroy() {
this.subscriptions.unsubscribe();
}
}

See this MSDN article on how to do that.
One of:
In html
<!-- map.size here because -->
<%= map.size() %>
theoretically the following should work, but i never used it this way.
<%= map.size() // map.size here because %>
It only seems to because that is what it is printing out. But actually, you shouldn't write the logic this way. This is equivalent:
insert into errortable (dateupdated, table1id)
values (sysdate, 1083);
It seems silly to convert the system date to a string just to convert it back to a date.
If you want to see the full date, then you can do:
select TO_CHAR(dateupdated, 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS'), table1id
from errortable;
This may work for you:
Scenario 1: primitive types
string keyToMatchInDict = "x";
int newValToAdd = 1;
Dictionary<string,int> dictToUpdate = new Dictionary<string,int>{"x",1};
if(!dictToUpdate.ContainsKey(keyToMatchInDict))
dictToUpdate.Add(keyToMatchInDict ,newValToAdd );
else
dictToUpdate[keyToMatchInDict] = newValToAdd; //or you can do operations such as ...dictToUpdate[keyToMatchInDict] += newValToAdd;
Scenario 2: The approach I used for a List as Value
int keyToMatch = 1;
AnyObject objInValueListToAdd = new AnyObject("something for the Ctor")
Dictionary<int,List<AnyObject> dictToUpdate = new Dictionary<int,List<AnyObject>(); //imagine this dict got initialized before with valid Keys and Values...
if(!dictToUpdate.ContainsKey(keyToMatch))
dictToUpdate.Add(keyToMatch,new List<AnyObject>{objInValueListToAdd});
else
dictToUpdate[keyToMatch] = objInValueListToAdd;
Hope it's useful for someone in need of help.
Use a subquery in the where clause. For a delete query requirig a join, this example will delete rows that are unmatched in the joined table "docx_document" and that have a create date > 120 days in the "docs_documents" table.
delete from docs_documents d
where d.id in (
select a.id from docs_documents a
left join docx_document b on b.id = a.document_id
where b.id is null
and floor(sysdate - a.create_date) > 120
);
If you're using PHP you can funnel your request to Node scripts via shell_exec, passing arguments to scripts as JSON strings in the command line. Example call:
<?php
shell_exec("node nodeScript.js"); // without arguments
shell_exec("node nodeScript.js '{[your JSON here]}'"); //with arguments
?>
The caveat is you need to be very careful about handling user data when it goes anywhere near a command line. Example nightmare:
<?php
$evilUserData = "'; [malicious commands here];";
shell_exec("node nodeScript.js '{$evilUserData}'");
?>
Note that the answer by Geoffrey Irving is wrong.
The number of inversions in an array is half the total distance elements must be moved in order to sort the array. Therefore, it can be computed by sorting the array, maintaining the resulting permutation p[i], and then computing the sum of abs(p[i]-i)/2. This takes O(n log n) time, which is optimal.
An alternative method is given at http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PermutationInversion.html. This method is equivalent to the sum of max(0, p[i]-i), which is equal to the sum of abs(p[i]-i])/2 since the total distance elements move left is equal to the total distance elements move to the right.
Take the sequence { 3, 2, 1 } as an example. There are three inversions: (3, 2), (3, 1), (2, 1), so the inversion number is 3. However, according to the quoted method the answer would have been 2.
The whole idea around semantic markup is the separation of markup and presentation, which includes layout.
Div's aren't replacing tables, they have their own use in separating content into blocks of related content (, ). When you don't have the skills and are relying on tables, you'll often have to separate your content in to cells in order to get the desired layout, but you wont need to touch the markup to achieve presentation when using semantic markup. This is really important when the markup is being generated rather than static pages.
Developers need to stop providing markup that implies layout so that those of us who do have the skills to present content can get on with our jobs, and developers don't have to come back to their code to make changes when presentation needs change.

I had to re-install my adb driver to snap out of this probelm. I had install "Universal Naked Driver" in an effort to recover my phone. I uninstalled that and re-installed the driver out of the android sdk.
I'm going to answer this myself.
I've determined that there is a difference. "git fetch --tags" might bring in all the tags, but it doesn't bring in any new commits!
Turns out one has to do this to be totally "up to date", i.e. replicated a "git pull" without the merge:
$ git fetch --tags
$ git fetch
This is a shame, because it's twice as slow. If only "git fetch" had an option to do what it normally does and bring in all the tags.
