Reading answers here, it seems that the error "RenderBox was not laid out" is caused when somehow the ListView size is limitless and this can happen in different scenarios.

Just aiming to help who may have the same case as mine. In my case, I was getting this error because my ListView was inside a a column whose parent was a SingleChildScrollView. I remove this parent and it worked.

Here is my working code:

In case you are calculating more than one moving average:

Then you can do an aggregate average of all the MA

You have a JSON object that contains an Array. You need to access the array results. Change your code to:

I have been facing the same problem and for multidex support, you have to keep in mind the minSdkVersion of your application. If you are using minSdkVersion 21 or above then just write multiDexEnabled true like this

It works for me and if you are using minSdkVersion below 21 (below lolipop) then you have to do two extra simple things

YOU should write it with lowercase letters - after changing to lowercase it works. If you don't want to waste time just go to you .json file and replace com.myname.MyAPPlicationnamE with com.myname.myapplicationname (for every match in the json file).

Ensure that you have done these two things under defaultConfig in Android/app/build.gradle after wiring up Firebase for your Flutter app.

1) Whatever package name you entered while creating your Firebase android project, exactly the same should be updated as your applicationId under defaultConfig.

2) Add the line multiDexEnabled true under defaultConfig.

I know this is quite an old one, but I faced similar issue and resolved it in a different way. The actuator-autoconfigure pom somehow was invalid and so it was throwing IllegalStateException. I removed the actuator* dependencies from my maven repo and did a Maven update in eclipse, which then downloaded the correct/valid dependencies and resolved my issue.

It might be obvious, but make sure that you are sending to the parser URL object not a String containing www adress. This will not work:

I've a view inside my custom CollectionViewCell, and embedding a graph on that view. In order to refresh it, I've to check if there is already a graph placed on that view, remove it and then apply new. Here's the solution

Use the @RequestParam to pass a parameter to the controller handler method. In the jsp your form should have an input field with name = "id" like the following:

I had the same problem. my problem was that the version of the dependency had conflict with the elasticsearch version. check the version in ip:9200 and use the dependency version that match it

I had similar issue/error while running JunitCore along side with Junit Jupiter(Junit5) JUnitCore.runClasses(classes); after removing @RunWith(SpringRunner.class) and

The proper Swift operator is is:

Docs say that SSL over 465 is NOT supported in SmtpClient.

Seems like you have no choice but to use STARTTLS which may not be supported by your mail host. You may have to use a different library if your host requires use of SSL over 465.

The SmtpClient class only supports the SMTP Service Extension for Secure SMTP over Transport Layer Security as defined in RFC 3207. In this mode, the SMTP session begins on an unencrypted channel, then a STARTTLS command is issued by the client to the server to switch to secure communication using SSL. See RFC 3207 published by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for more information.

An alternate connection method is where an SSL session is established up front before any protocol commands are sent. This connection method is sometimes called SMTP/SSL, SMTP over SSL, or SMTPS and by default uses port 465. This alternate connection method using SSL is not currently supported.

Considering that a LocalDb instance only intended for use in development. LocalDb is not available for production servers When you deploy the final result.

I think your connection string is pointing to a LocalDb instance and you need to take certain steps to turn it into the SQL Server database. It's not just a matter of copying an mdf file either. It will possibly differ from one hosting company to another, but typically, you need to create a backup of your existing database (a .bak file) and then restore that to the hosting company's SQL Server. You should ask them where you can find instructions on deploying your database into production.

In your configuration you have 2 PropertySourcesPlaceholderConfigurer instances.

By default a PlaceholderConfigurer is going to fail-fast, so if a placeholder cannot be resolved it will throw an exception. The instance from the applicationContext.xml file has no properties and as such will fail on all placeholders.

Solution: Remove the one from applicationContext.xml as it doesn't add anything it only breaks things.

NullPointerException with JSP can also happen if:

A getter returns a non-public inner class.

This code will fail if you remove Getters's access modifier or make it private or protected.

for swift 3-4 i fixed like

just copy paste anywhere on the class. This solution just work if you want all UItextfield work as same, or if you have just one!

This hasn't solved my problem too, so I changed the parameters slightly.

When you have everything #included, an unresolved external symbol is often a missing * or & in the declaration or definition of a function.

Sql Server fire this error when your application don't have enough rights to access the database. there are several reason about this error . To fix this error you should follow the following instruction.

1. Try to connect sql server from your server using management studio . if you use windows authentication to connect sql server then set your application pool identity to server administrator .

2. if you use sql server authentication then check you connection string in web.config of your web application and set user id and password of sql server which allows you to log in .

3. if your database in other server(access remote database) then first of enable remote access of sql server form sql server property from sql server management studio and enable TCP/IP form sql server configuration manager .

4. after doing all these stuff and you still can't access the database then check firewall of server form where you are trying to access the database and add one rule in firewall to enable port of sql server(by default sql server use 1433 , to check port of sql server you need to check sql server configuration manager network protocol TCP/IP port).

5. if your sql server is running on named instance then you need to write port number with sql serer name for example 117.312.21.21/nameofsqlserver,1433.

6. If you are using cloud hosting like amazon aws or microsoft azure then server or instance will running behind cloud firewall so you need to enable 1433 port in cloud firewall if you have default instance or specific port for sql server for named instance.

7. If you are using amazon RDS or SQL azure then you need to enable port from security group of that instance.

8. If you are accessing sql server through sql server authentication mode them make sure you enabled "SQL Server and Windows Authentication Mode" sql server instance property.

   9. Restart your sql server instance after making any changes in property as some changes will require restart.

GetProcessesByName returns an array of processes, so you should get the first one (or find the one you want).

The only situation in which the code may not work is when notepad is started as Administrator and your application is not.

You've probably got one of two problems:

1) You're using JUnit 4.11, which doesn't include hamcrest. Add the hamcrest 1.3 library to your classpath.

2) You've got hamcrest 1.3 on your classpath, but you've got another version of either junit or hamcrest on your classpath.

For background, junit pre 4.11 included a cut down version of hamcrest 1.1. 4.11 removed these classes.

For me the issue were the multithreaded tests that were doing stubbing/verification on a shared mocks. It leaded to randomly throwing WrongTypeOfReturnValue exception.

This is not properly written test using Mockito. Mocks should not be accessed from multiple threads.

The solution was to make mocks local to each test.

If you still facing the issue try this:

Open your IIS Manager -> Application Pools -> select your app pool -> Advance Setting -> Under 'Process Model' set 'Load User Profile' setting as True

I know an answer has already been accepted for this problem but someone asked in the comments if there was a solution that could be done outside the web.config. I had a ListView producing the exact same error and setting EnableViewState to false resolved this problem for me.

With the help of Tim C's answer, I was able to create an extension on UIButton using Swift that allows you to specify the image frame by using the .setImage() function with an extra frame parameter

I had the same problem but it only occurred on the published website on Godaddy. It was no problem in my local host.

The error came from an aspx.cs (code behind file) where I tried to assign a value to a label. It appeared that from within the code behind, that the label Text appears to be null. So all I did with change all my Label Text properties in the ASPX file from Text="" to Text=" ".

The problem disappeared. I don’t know why the error happens from the hosted version but not on my localhost and don’t have time to figure out why. But it works fine now.

Assuming that you have access to SharePoint server, try the following. Some random thoughts and no specific order.

• Deploy the assembly to GAC or copy the dll to the bin folder of your web application
• Add the assembly info in your web.config assemblies section and in the safe controls section.
• If you are developing a web part, make sure to add its reference in the safe controls section of the web parts (although i don't think this is your problem)
• Signing the assembly with a strong name might help in some cases.
• If you have custom dependencies then you need to do the follow the same steps for all the dependencies (other than .net framework and SharePoint related)

Are you developing your SharePoint project (do you mean web part?) using visual studio? Are you referencing it in your SharePoint project? You need to give us more details on your development environment to be able to pinpoint the problem.

This worked for me.

look for this:

    DirectoryIndex index.php

replace with this:

    DirectoryIndex something.php index.php

Upload and refresh page. You will get a page error.

just change it back to:

    DirectoryIndex index.php

reupload and refresh page again.
I checked this on all of my devices and, it worked.

You should set a fixed value to your span's line-height property:

As m.edmondson mentioned, "The remote host closed the connection." occurs when a user or browser cancels something, or the network connection drops etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be a file download however, just any request for any resource that results in a response to the client. Basically the error means that the response could not be sent because the server can no longer talk to the client(browser).

There are a number of steps that you can take in order to stop it happening. If you are manually sending something in the response with a Response.Write, Response.Flush, returning data from a web servivce/page method or something similar, then you should consider checking Response.IsClientConnected before sending the response. Also, if the response is likely to take a long time or a lot of server-side processing is required, you should check this periodically until the response.end if called. See the following for details on this property:

Alternatively, which I believe is most likely in your case, the error is being caused by something inside the framework. The following link may by of use:

Instead of using the instance with the scope resolution operator :: because it wasn't defined like static function.

Select Libraries from the right tab panel: If there is anything which is corrupted or showing cross mark on top of the jars, remove and add the same jar again

The same problem can occur if you have downloaded JUnit jar from the JUnit website, but forgotten to download the Hamcrest jar - both are required (the instructions say to download both, but I skipped ahead! Oops)

Does the screenshot contain only the icon? If so, the L2 distance of the two images might suffice. If the L2 distance doesn't work, the next step is to try something simple and well established, like: Lucas-Kanade. Which I'm sure is available in OpenCV.

Executing this command in administrator mode in powershell will solve the problem.

After decoding, it looks like the data is a repeating structure that's 8 bytes long, or some multiple thereof. It's just binary data though; what it might mean, I have no idea. There are 2064 entries, which means that it could be a list of 2064 8-byte items down to 129 128-byte items.

I had the same problem, I was storing session data in the database, the connection string had Encrypt=True in it, which I assume told the sql client to connect to the server in secure (SSL) mode, removing this helped!

Wrote the below function that allows me to quickly check to see if an index exists; works just like OBJECT_ID.

EDIT: This just returns the OBJECT_ID of the table, but it will be NULL if the index doesn't exist. I suppose you could set this to return index_id, but that isn't super useful.

In my case it turned out to be commented out HTML in a master page!

Who knew that commented out HTML such as this were actually interpreted by ASP.NET!

Since you're looking for the ability to shoehorn binary data into a strictly text-based and very limited format, I think Base64's overhead is minimal compared to the convenience you're expecting to maintain with JSON. If processing power and throughput is a concern, then you'd probably need to reconsider your file formats.

I had the exact same problem. I deleted (and forgot that I had deleted) oraociei11.dll after compiling the application. And it was giving this error while trying to execute. So when it cant find the dll that oraociei11.dll, it shows this error. There may be other cases when it gives this error, but this seems to be one of them.

This error can also be caused by having zero methods tagged with the OperationContract attribute. This was my problem when building a new service and testing it a long the way.

I worked around this exact error by not adding the ListBox to a parent Page/Control Controls collection. Because I really didn't need any server-side functionality out of it. I just wanted to use it to output the HTML for a custom server control, which I did in the OnRender event handler myself. I hoped that using the control would save me from writing to the response my own html.

This solution probably won't work for most, but it keeps ASP.NET from performing the ValidateEvent against the control, because the control doesn't retain in memory between postbacks.

Also, my error was specifically caused by the selected list item being an item that wasn't in the listbox the previous postback. Incase that helps anyone.

If running tests on the repository from a seperate assembly, then make sure your Hibernate.cfg.xml is set to output always in the bin directory of said assembly. This wasn't happening for us and we got the above error in certain circumstances.

IE8 beta 2 supports two APIs from HTML5: cross-document messaging and non-SQL storage.

IE8 beta 2 doesn’t implement the HTML5 parsing algorithm or the new elements (no <canvas> or <video> support).

There are also bug fixes that align IE8 better with HTML5.

I would highly recommend taking a look at datejs. With it's api, it becomes drop dead simple to add a month (and lots of other date functionality):

JSONP is a good option, but there is an easier way. You can simply set the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header on your server. Setting it to * will accept cross-domain AJAX requests from any domain. (https://developer.mozilla.org/en/http_access_control)

The method to do this will vary from language to language, of course. Here it is in Rails:

The Popup class might be better than the Stage class, depending on what you want. Stage is either modal (you can't click on anything else in your app) or it vanishes if you click elsewhere in your app (because it's a separate window). Popup stays on top but is not modal.

No there is no byte data type in C++. However you could always include the bitset header from the standard library and create a typedef for byte:

According to my copy of the C++ standard, at the time:

"Objects declared as characters (char) shall be large enough to store any member of the implementations basic character set": 3.9.1.1

I read that to suggest that if a compiler implementation requires 16 bits to store a member of the basic character set then the size of a char would be 16 bits. That today's compilers tend to use 8 bits for a char is one thing, but as far as I can tell there is certainly no guarantee that it will be 8 bits.

On the other hand, "the class template bitset<N> describes an object that can store a sequence consisting of a fixed number of bits, N." : 20.5.1. In otherwords by specifying 8 as the template parameter I end up with an object that can store a sequence consisting of 8 bits.

Whether or not the alternative is better to char, in the context of the program being written, therefore depends, as far as I understand, although I may be wrong, upon your compiler and your requirements at the time. The sscanf() solution is better in terms of code lines. My answer here is a user-build function that does almost the same as sscanf(). Stores the converted number in a pointer and returns a value called "val". If val comes out as zero, then the input is in unsupported format, hence conversion failed. Hence, use the pointer value only when val is non-zero.

It works only if the input is in base-10 form.

Even if your compareTo is holds transitivity in theory, sometimes subtle bugs mess things up... such as floating point arithmetic error. It happened to me. this was my code:

With jSoup 1.8.3 it il possible to use the method Parser.unescapeEntities that retain the original html.

Coming to the party very very late, but from my old memory of DOS batch files, you can keep adding a character to the string each loop then look for a string of that many of that character. for 250 iterations, you either have a very long "cycles" string, or you have one loop inside using one set of variables counting to 10, then another loop outside that uses another set of variable counting to 25.

Your Customer class has to be discovered by CDI as a bean. For that you have two options:

1. Put a bean defining annotation on it. As @Model is a stereotype it's why it does the trick. A qualifier like @Named is not a bean defining annotation, reason why it doesn't work

2. Change the bean discovery mode in your bean archive from the default "annotated" to "all" by adding a beans.xml file in your jar.

Keep in mind that @Named has only one usage : expose your bean to the UI. Other usages are for bad practice or compatibility with legacy framework.

Git just stores the contents of the link (i.e. the path of the file system object that it links to) in a 'blob' just like it would for a normal file. It then stores the name, mode and type (including the fact that it is a symlink) in the tree object that represents its containing directory.

When you checkout a tree containing the link, it restores the object as a symlink regardless of whether the target file system object exists or not.

If you delete the file that the symlink references it doesn't affect the Git-controlled symlink in any way. You will have a dangling reference. It is up to the user to either remove or change the link to point to something valid if needed.

You can do it with anchor tags using css3 :target pseudo-selector, this selector is going to be triggered when the element with the same id as the hash of the current URL get an match. Example

One interesting fact about the obj directory: If you have publishing set up in a web project, the files that will be published are staged to obj\Release\Package\PackageTmp. A few options:

(1) Laboriously make an identity-mapping (i.e. do-nothing) dict out of your fieldnames so that csv.DictWriter can convert it back to a list and pass it to a csv.writer instance.

(2) The documentation mentions "the underlying writer instance" ... so just use it (example at the end).

you have an array of int which is a primitive type, primitive type doesn't have the method add. You should look for Collections.

Maybe with reflection tricks around the class android.server.LocationManagerService.

Also, there is a method (since API 8) android.provider.Settings.Secure.setLocationProviderEnabled

You can do it by combining tr and wc commands. For example, to count e in the string referee

As with a bare clone, a mirrored clone includes all remote branches and tags, but all local references will be overwritten each time you fetch, so it will always be the same as the original repository.

The method getSharedPreferences is a method of the Context object, so just calling getSharedPreferences from a Fragment will not work...because it is not a Context! (Activity is an extension of Context, so we can call getSharedPreferences from it).

So you have to get your applications Context by

the case above is for a new project. I hit upon this error while editing a fork of a well established library.

the typedef was included in the file I was editing but the struct wasn't.

The end result being that I was attempting to edit the struct in the wrong place.

If you run into this in a similar way look for other places where the struct is edited and try it there.

Just an update on more current OS's (Vista, Win7, etc.) - the temp file path has changed may be different based on several variables. The items below are not definitive, however, they are a few I have encountered:

As Matt Weller pointed out, you can use the length function. The count function in plyr can be used to return the count of each unique column value.

The main difference is that the output of pip freeze can be dumped into a requirements.txt file and used later to re-construct the "frozen" environment.

In other words you can run: pip freeze > frozen-requirements.txt on one machine and then later on a different machine or on a clean environment you can do: pip install -r frozen-requirements.txt and you'll get the an identical environment with the exact same dependencies installed as you had in the original environment where you generated the frozen-requirements.txt.

I faced the same issue although i added [System.Web.Mvc.AllowHtml] to the concerning property as described in some answers.

In my case, i have an UnhandledExceptionFilter class that accesses the Request object before MVC validation takes place (and therefore AllowHtml has not effect) and this access raises a [HttpRequestValidationException] A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client.

This means, accessing certain properties of a Request object implicitly fires validation (in my case its the Params property).

A solution to prevent validation is documented on MSDN

To disable request validation for a specific field in a request (for example, for an input element or query string value), call the Request.Unvalidated method when you get the item, as shown in the following example

I know its been a while since this question but I had the exact problem and solved it by disabling SMTP_BLOCK on csf.conf (we use CSF for a firewall).

To disable just edit csf.conf and disable SMTP_BLOCK like so:

Just 2 things I think make it ALWAYS preferable to use a # Temp Table rather then a CTE are:

1. You can not put a primary key on a CTE so the data being accessed by the CTE will have to traverse each one of the indexes in the CTE's tables rather then just accessing the PK or Index on the temp table.

2. Because you can not add constraints, indexes and primary keys to a CTE they are more prone to bugs creeping in and bad data.

• By default use an int, when holding numbers.
• If the range of int is too small, use a long
• If the range of long is too small, use BigInteger
• If you need to handle your numbers as object (for example when putting them into a Collection, handling null, ...) use Integer/Long instead

This is an old topic but frequently searched. So long as you are aware of risks (as stated by @philip Koshy above) of losing committed transactions in the last one second or so, before massive updates, you may set these global parameters

innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=0
sync_binlog=0

then turn then back on (if so desired) after update is complete.

innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit=1

for full ACID compliance.

There is a huge difference in write/update performance when both of these are turned off and on. In my experience, other stuff discussed above makes some difference but only marginal.

One other thing that impacts update/insert greatly is full text index. In one case, a table with two text fields having full text index, inserting 2mil rows took 6 hours and the same took only 10 min after full text index was removed. More indexes, more time. So search indexes other than unique and primary key may be removed prior to massive inserts/updates.

If you don't need a separated class, i mean just a simple adapter mapped on your object. Here is my code based on ArrayAdapter functions provided.

And because you might need to add item after adapter creation (eg database item asynchronous loading).

I had a similar issue, but I needed to be sure that the order of the ID is aligning to the order in the source file. My solution is using a VIEW for the BULK INSERT:

The change is to map_get in order to prevent it from returning errors if you request a key that doesn't exist, though the side-effect is that it will also silently ignore missing maps, but it suited my use-case better since I just wanted to check for a key in order to skip items in a loop.

@ewomack has a great answer for C#, unless you don't need extra object values. In my case, I ended up using something similar to:

Yes, there is awesome simple bash script I found, which allows you to update the Postman Linux app, straight from the terminal, called postman-updater-linux.

Just install it using NPM:

I would like to add some more details about security aspect of referer header in contrast with accepted answer. In Open Web Application Security Project(OWASP) cheat sheets, under Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) Prevention Cheat Sheet it mentions about importance of referer header.

More importantly for this recommended Same Origin check, a number of HTTP request headers can't be set by JavaScript because they are on the 'forbidden' headers list. Only the browsers themselves can set values for these headers, making them more trustworthy because not even an XSS vulnerability can be used to modify them.

The Source Origin check recommended here relies on three of these protected headers: Origin, Referer, and Host, making it a pretty strong CSRF defense all on its own.

You can refer Forbidden header list here. User agent(ie:browser) has the full control over these headers not the user.

What is the dict.get() method?

As already mentioned the get method contains an additional parameter which indicates the missing value. From the documentation

I think you are using 'global' incorrectly. See Python reference. You should declare variable without global and then inside the function when you want to access global variable you declare it global yourvar.

Detecting sheet of paper is kinda old school. If you want to tackle skew detection then it is better if you straightaway aim for text line detection. With this you will get the extremas left, right, top and bottom. Discard any graphics in the image if you dont want and then do some statistics on the text line segments to find the most occurring angle range or rather angle. This is how you will narrow down to a good skew angle. Now after this you put these parameters the skew angle and the extremas to deskew and chop the image to what is required.

As for the current image requirement, it is better if you try CV_RETR_EXTERNAL instead of CV_RETR_LIST.

Another method of detecting edges is to train a random forests classifier on the paper edges and then use the classifier to get the edge Map. This is by far a robust method but requires training and time.

Random forests will work with low contrast difference scenarios for example white paper on roughly white background.

What's going on is that you're returning right after the first line of the file doesn't match the id you're looking for. You have to do this:

The random_state is an integer value which implies the selection of a random combination of train and test. When you set the test_size as 1/4 the there is a set generated of permutation and combination of train and test and each combination has one state. Suppose you have a dataset---> [1,2,3,4]

[1,3,4]    [2]      **1**
[4,2,3]    [1]      **2**

We need it because while param tuning of model same state will considered again and again. So that there won't be any inference with the accuracy.

But in case of Random forest there is also similar story but in a different way w.r.t the variables.

Simple answer is you can't update an interval of already created timer. (There is only two functions setInterval/setTimer and clearInterval/clearTimer, so having a timerId you can only deactivate it.) But you can made some workarounds. Take a look at this github repo.

No, there is no way to specify defaults. I believer this is done on purpose to enhance readability, at the cost of a little more time (and, hopefully, thought) on the writer's end.

I think the proper approach to having a "default" is to have a new function which supplies that default to the more generic function. Having this, your code becomes clearer on your intent. For example:

With very little effort, I made a function that does a common thing and reused the generic function. You can see this in many libraries, fmt.Println for example just adds a newline to what fmt.Print would otherwise do. With default values, I won't know what is supposed to be happening without also going to the function to reference what the default value actually is.

How many people sad above, there are a lot of plugins to gradle execute a by pass in this problem like:

I fixed this issue this way: go to your project's Build Phases (click on project icon at the top, and then click on Build Phases). Search for your file there. If it's there (it'll be grayed out), delete it. Then clean (shift + alt + command + k), and run! Hope it helps.

All the properties of your object are private. aka... not available outside their class's scope.

If you have to delete multiple values in an array and the entries in that array are objects or structured data, [array_filter][1] is your best bet. Those entries that return a true from the callback function will be retained.

I scanned the above answers and the proposed keydown/keyup approach works only under special circumstances. If the user alt-tabs away, or uses a key gesture to open a new browser window or tab, then a keydown will be registered, which is fine, because at that point it's impossible to tell if the key is something the web app is monitoring, or is a standard browser or OS shortcut. Coming back to the browser page, it'll still think the key is held, though it was released in the meantime. Or some key is simply kept held, while the user is switching to another tab or application with the mouse, then released outside our page.

Modifier keys (Shift etc.) can be monitored via mousemove etc. assuming that there is at least one mouse interaction expected when tabbing back, which is frequently the case.

For most all other keys (except modifiers, Tab, Delete, but including Space, Enter), monitoring keypress would work for most applications - a key held down will continue to fire. There's some latency in resetting the key though, due to the periodicity of keypress firing. Basically, if keypress doesn't keep firing, then it's possible to rule out most of the keys. This, combined with the modifiers is pretty airtight, though I haven't explored what to do with Tab and Backspace.

mysqladmin is not a SQL statement. It's a little helper utility program you'll find on your MySQL server... and "flush-hosts" is one of the things it can do. ("status" and "shutdown" are a couple of other things that come to mind).

You type that command from a shell prompt.
