In Visual Studio please click 'Folder.ico' file in the Solution Explorer pane. Then you will see Properties pane. Change 'Copy to Output Directory' behavior to 'Copy if newer'. This will make Visual Studio copy the file to the output bin directory.

Now to get the file path using relative path just type:

You can't instantiate interfaces or abstract classes.

That's because it wouldn't have any logic to it.

Interfaces provide a contract of the methods that should be in a class, without implementation. (So there's no actual logic in the interface).

Abstract classes provide basic logic of a class, but are not fully functional (not everything is implemented). So again, you won't be able to do anything with it.

For getting the JSON response the parameter redirect with 0 (zero) as value is important since the request redirects to the image by default. You may still add other parameters in the same URL. Examples:

• "/" + uid + "/picture?redirect=0&width=100&height=100": a 100x100 image will be returned;
• "/" + uid + "/picture?redirect=0&type=large": a 200x200 image is returned. Other possible type values include: small, normal, album, and square.

I solved it by adding "edit permission" to the application of the site, mapped to the physical directory and then selected the windows user that could have access to this root folder. (private network).

It's also useful for polyglot programs:

(Definitely a little bit of a strange usage, but effective nonetheless.)

Some explication, as requested:

• Shell-scripts are evaluated line-by-line; and the exec command, when run, terminates the shell and replaces it's process with the resultant command. This means that to the shell, the program looks like this:

• Finally, the second command on the first line (after the semicolon), is the real meat of the program: it's the exec call which replaces the shell-script being invoked, with a Node.js process invoked to evaluate the rest of the script.

• Meanwhile, the first line, in JavaScript, parses as a string-literal (':'), and then a comment, which is deleted; thus, to JavaScript, the program looks like this:

  Since the string-literal is on a line by itself, it is a no-op statement, and is thus stripped from the program; that means that the entire line is removed, leaving only your program-code (in this example, the function(){ ... } body.)

The inefficiency here is not really due to Python, but to the nature of how files are read. The only way to find the last line is to read the file in and find the line endings. However, the seek operation may be used to skip to any byte offset in the file. You can, therefore begin very close to the end of the file, and grab larger and larger chunks as needed until the last line ending is found:

I guess the problem is that you need to start a separate thread for each connection and call serverSocket.accept() in a loop to accept more than one connection.

It is not a problem to have more than one connection on the same port.

When you groupby, you're making new indices. If you also pass a list through .agg(). you'll get multiple columns. I was trying to figure this out and found this thread via google.

It turns out if you pass a tuple corresponding to the exact column you want sorted on.

Try this:

Here are two approaches in c# (.net) (both discussed above) for reference:

1. Recursive version of finding LCA in binary tree (O(N) - as at most each node is visited) (main points of the solution is LCA is (a) only node in binary tree where both elements reside either side of the subtrees (left and right) is LCA. (b) And also it doesn't matter which node is present either side - initially i tried to keep that info, and obviously the recursive function become so confusing. once i realized it, it became very elegant.

2. Searching both nodes (O(N)), and keeping track of paths (uses extra space - so, #1 is probably superior even thought the space is probably negligible if the binary tree is well balanced as then extra memory consumption will be just in O(log(N)).

   so that the paths are compared (essentailly similar to accepted answer - but the paths is calculated by assuming pointer node is not present in the binary tree node)

I just finished setting up my XAMPP on the MAC and had the same trouble. I just fixed it. It is not quite clear what OS you're using but you need to run the XAMPP security. You indicate you've done that, but here it is anyway for the MAC

Note that this technique only works for even column sizes (.col-X-2, .col-X-4, col-X-6, etc...), if you want to support any size you can use margin: 0 auto; but you need to remove the float from the element too, I recommend a custom CSS class like the following:

When working with fragments, instead of using this or refering to the context, always use getActivity(). You should call

(I'm not completely happy with the answers so far, so here is my attempt...)

I think that Kevin Wright's comment ("You can make a Promise and it's up to you to keep it. When someone else makes you a promise you must wait to see if they honour it in the Future") summarizes it pretty well, but some explanation can be useful.

Futures and promises are pretty similar concepts, the difference is that a future is a read-only container for a result that does not yet exist, while a promise can be written (normally only once). The Java 8 CompletableFuture and the Guava SettableFuture can be thought of as promises, because their value can be set ("completed"), but they also implement the Future interface, therefore there is no difference for the client.

The result of the future will be set by "someone else" - by the result of an asynchronous computation. Note how FutureTask - a classic future - must be initialized with a Callable or Runnable, there is no no-argument constructor, and both Future and FutureTask are read-only from the outside (the set methods of FutureTask are protected). The value will be set to the result of the computation from the inside.

On the other hand, the result of a promise can be set by "you" (or in fact by anybody) anytime because it has a public setter method. Both CompletableFuture and SettableFuture can be created without any task, and their value can be set at any time. You send a promise to the client code, and fulfill it later as you wish.

Note that CompletableFuture is not a "pure" promise, it can be initialized with a task just like FutureTask, and its most useful feature is the unrelated chaining of processing steps.

Also note that a promise does not have to be a subtype of future and it does not have to be the same object. In Scala a Future object is created by an asynchronous computation or by a different Promise object. In C++ the situation is similar: the promise object is used by the producer and the future object by the consumer. The advantage of this separation is that the client cannot set the value of the future.

Both Spring and EJB 3.1 have an AsyncResult class, which is similar to the Scala/C++ promises. AsyncResult does implement Future but this is not the real future: asynchronous methods in Spring/EJB return a different, read-only Future object through some background magic, and this second "real" future can be used by the client to access the result.

In addition, the message about the binwidth wasn't an error. An error will actually say "Error" in it, and similarly a warning will always say "Warning" in it. Otherwise it's just a message.

Using https sounds best option here (certificates are not that expensive nowadays). However if http is a requirement, you may use some encription - encript it on server side and decript in users browser (send key separately).

(Not an answer, but a very similar problem) I have Git Gui installed on a Windows system behind a proxy. Issuing 'git clone' from a Linux virtual machine running on the Windows system works, but Git Gui yields the 443 error mentioned in the heading.

The syntax is the * and **. The names *args and **kwargs are only by convention but there's no hard requirement to use them.

You would use *args when you're not sure how many arguments might be passed to your function, i.e. it allows you pass an arbitrary number of arguments to your function. For example:

MVVMC, or perhaps MVC+, seems to be a viable approach for enterprise as well as rapid application development. While it is nice to separate the UI from business and interaction logic, the 'pure' MVVM pattern and most available examples work best on singular views.

Not sure about your designs, but most of my applications, however, contain pages and several (reusable) views and thus the ViewModels do need to interact to some degree. Using the page as controller would defeat the purpose of the MVVM altogether, so not using a "VM-C" approach for the underlying logic might result in .. well .. challenging constructs as the application matures. Even in VB-6 most of us probably stopped coding business logic into the Button event and started 'relaying' commands to a controller, right? I recently looked at many emerging framworks on that topic; my favorite clearly is the Magellan (at codeplex) approach. Happy coding!

For people just stumbling upon this now, I resolved an error of this type that was thrown with all the references and using statements placed properly. There's evidently some confusion with substituting in a function that returns DataTable instead of calling it on a declared DataTable. For example:

Windows users may get the error that R has run out of memory.

If you have R already installed and subsequently install more RAM, you may have to reinstall R in order to take advantage of the additional capacity.

In Web API, it's very simple to remember how parameter binding is happening.

• if you POST simple types, Web API tries to bind it from the URL

• if you POST complex type, Web API tries to bind it from the body of the request (this uses a media-type formatter).

• If you want to bind a complex type from the URL, you'll use [FromUri] in your action parameter. The limitation of this is down to how long your data going to be and if it exceeds the url character limit.

587 vs. 465

These port assignments are specified by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA):

• Port 587: [SMTP] Message submission (SMTP-MSA), a service that accepts submission of email from email clients (MUAs). Described in RFC 6409.
• Port 465: URL Rendezvous Directory for SSM (entirely unrelated to email)

Historically, port 465 was initially planned for the SMTPS encryption and authentication “wrapper” over SMTP, but it was quickly deprecated (within months, and over 15 years ago) in favor of STARTTLS over SMTP (RFC 3207). Despite that fact, there are probably many servers that support the deprecated protocol wrapper, primarily to support older clients that implemented SMTPS. Unless you need to support such older clients, SMTPS and its use on port 465 should remain nothing more than an historical footnote.

The hopelessly confusing and imprecise term, SSL, has often been used to indicate the SMTPS wrapper and TLS to indicate the STARTTLS protocol extension.

I want to point out that it has been my experience that if throwing an HttpResponseException instead of returning an HttpResponseMessage in a webapi 2 method, that if a call is made immediately to IIS Express it will timeout or return a 200 but with a html error in the response. Easiest way to test this is to make $.ajax call to a method that throws a HttpResponseException and in the errorCallBack in ajax make an immediate call to another method or even a simple http page. You will notice the imediate call will fail. If you add a break point or a settimeout() in the error call back to delay the second call a second or two giving the server time to recover it works correctly. This makes no since but its almost like the throw HttpResponseException causes the server side listener thread to exit and restart causing a split second of no server accepting connections or something.

Update: The root cause of the wierd Ajax connection Timeout is if an ajax call is made quick enough the same tcp connection is used. I was raising a 401 error ether by returning a HttpResonseMessage or throwing a HTTPResponseException which was returned to the browser ajax call. But along with that call MS was returning a Object Not Found Error because in Startup.Auth.vb app.UserCookieAuthentication was enabled so it was trying to return intercept the response and add a redirect but it errored with Object not Instance of an Object. This Error was html but was appended to the response after the fact so only if the ajax call was made quick enough and the same tcp connection used did it get returned to the browser and then it got appended to the front of the next call. For some reason Chrome just timedout, fiddler pucked becasue of the mix of json and htm but firefox rturned the real error. So wierd but packet sniffer or firefox was the only way to track this one down.

Also it should be noted that if you are using Web API help to generate automatic help and you return HttpResponseMessage then you should add a

[System.Web.Http.Description.ResponseType(typeof(CustomReturnedType))] 

attribute to the method so the help generates correctly. Then

return Request.CreateResponse<CustomReturnedType>(objCustomeReturnedType) 

or on error

return Request.CreateErrorResponse( System.Net.HttpStatusCode.InternalServerError, new Exception("An Error Ocurred"));

Hope this helps someone else who may be getting random timeout or server not available immediately after throwing a HttpResponseException.

Also returning an HttpResponseException has the added benefit of not causing Visual Studio to break on an Un-handled exception usefull when the error being returned is the AuthToken needs to be refreshed in a single page app.

Update: I am retracting my statement about IIS Express timing out, this happened to be a mistake in my client side ajax call back it turns out since Ajax 1.8 returning $.ajax() and returning $.ajax.().then() both return promise but not the same chained promise then() returns a new promise which caused the order of execution to be wrong. So when the then() promise completed it was a script timeout. Weird gotcha but not an IIS express issue a problem between the Keyboard and chair.

Presumably you could kick off a setTimeout call in mousedown, and then cancel it in mouseup (if mouseup happens before your timeout completes).

However, looks like there is a plugin: longclick.

The author appears to have taken a freemium approach to the font library and provides Black Tie to give different weights to the Font-Awesome library.

There is a major error in the tutorials destined for newbies here: http://developer.android.com/training/basics/actionbar/styling.html

It is major because it is almost impossible to detect cause of error for a newbie.

The error is that this tutorial explicitly states that the tutorial is valid for api level 11 (Android 3.0), while in reality this is only true for the theme Theme.Holo (without further extensions and variants)

But this tutorial uses the the theme Theme.holo.Light.DarkActionBar which is only a valid theme from api level 14 (Android 4.0) and above.

This is only one of many examples on errors found in these tutorials (which are great in other regards). Somebody should correct these errors this weekend because they are really costly and annoying timethieves. If there is a way I can send this info to the Android team, then please tell me and I will do it. Hopefully, however, they read Stackoverflow. (let me suggest: The Android team should consider to put someone newbie to try out all tutorials as a qualification that they are valid).

Another error I (and countless other people) have found is that the appcombat backward compliance module really is not working if you strictly follow the tutorials. Error unknown. I had to give up.

The compiler advice for error correction is to define api level 14 as minimum sdk. This is not optimal because it creates incompliance to Andreoid 3.0 (api level 11). Therefore, I use Theme.Holo only and this seems to work fine (a fresh finding, though).

I am using Netbeans with Android support. Works nicely.

I needed a solution to update my production environments automatically and we're very happy thanks to this script that I'm sharing.

The script is written in XML and needs Phing.

A "for loop" in most, if not all, programming languages is a mechanism to run a piece of code more than once.

This code:

can be thought of working like this:

i = 0

i = 1

So you see, what happens is not that i gets the value 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 at the same time, but rather sequentially.

I assume that when you say "call a, it gives only 5", you mean like this:

for i in range(5):
    a=i+1
print a

this will print the last value that a was given. Every time the loop iterates, the statement a=i+1 will overwrite the last value a had with the new value.

Code basically runs sequentially, from top to bottom, and a for loop is a way to make the code go back and something again, with a different value for one of the variables.

We often see the construct df.loc[subscript] = … to assign to one DataFrame row. Mikhail_Sam posted benchmarks containing, among others, this construct as well as the method using dict and create DataFrame in the end. He found the latter to be the fastest by far. But if we replace the df3.loc[i] = … (with preallocated DataFrame) in his code with df3.values[i] = …, the outcome changes significantly, in that that method performs similar to the one using dict. So we should more often take the use of df.values[subscript] = … into consideration. However note that .values takes a zero-based subscript, which may be different from the DataFrame.index.

I had a similar problem, trying to add an element at the beginning of an existing array, shift the existing elements to the right and discard the oldest one (array[length-1]). My solution might not be very performant but it works for my purposes.

 Method:

   updateArray (Element to insert)

     - for all the elements of the Array
       - start from the end and replace with the one on the left; 
     - Array [0] <- Element

The storage engine (MyISAM) DOES support repair table. You should be able to repair it.

If the repair fails then it's a sign that the table is very corrupted, you have no choice but to restore it from backups.

If you have other systems (e.g. non-production with same software versions and schema) with an identical table then you might be able to fix it with some hackery (copying the frm an MYI files, followed by a repair).

In essence, the trick is to avoid getting broken tables in the first place. This means always shutting your db down cleanly, never having it crash and never having hardware or power problems. In practice this isn't very likely, so if durability matters you may want to consider a more crash-safe storage engine.

All the existing answers only work from the sqlite command line, which isn't ideal if you'd like to build a reusable script. Python makes it easy to build a script that can be executed programatically.

With concerns to your error, the other answers use C-style file access, where you get a FILE* with specific functions.

Contrarily, you and I are working with C++ streams, and as such cannot use those functions. The above code works in a simple manner: peek() will peek at the stream and return, without removing, the next character. If it reaches the end of file, it returns eof(). Ergo, we just peek() at the stream and see if it's eof(), since an empty file has nothing to peek at.

Note, this also returns true if the file never opened in the first place, which should work in your case. If you don't want that:

fragment.isVisible is only working (true/false) when you replaceFragment() otherwise if you work with addFragment(), isVisible always returns true whether the fragment is in behind of some other fragment.

I have a test application set up using JPA/Hibernate & Spring, and my configuration mirrors yours with the exception that I create a datasource and inject it into the EntityManagerFactory, and moved the datasource specific properties out of the persistenceUnit and into the datasource. I have worked on both and kind of fan of both.

But you need to understand when to use what and for what purpose.

I don't think It's a great idea to move all your database to DynamoDB, reason being querying is difficult except on primary and secondary keys, Indexing is limited and scanning in DynamoDB is painful.

I would go for a hybrid sort of DB, where extensive query-able data should be there is MongoDB, with all it's feature you would never feel constrained to provide enhancements or modifications.

DynamoDB is lightning fast (faster than MongoDB) so DynamoDB is often used as an alternative to sessions in scalable applications. DynamoDB best practices also suggests that if there are plenty of data which are less being used, move it to other table.

So suppose you have a articles or feeds. People are more likely to look for last week stuff or this month's stuff. chances are really rare for people to visit two year old data. For these purposes DynamoDB prefers to have data stored by month or years in different tables.

DynamoDB is seemlessly scalable, something you will have to do manually in MongoDB. however you would lose on performance of DynamoDB, if you don't understand about throughput partition and how scaling works behind the scene.

DynamoDB should be used where speed is critical, MongoDB on the other hand has too many hands and features, something DynamoDB lacks.

for example, you can have a replica set of MongoDB in such a way that one of the replica holds data instance of 8(or whatever) hours old. Really useful, if you messed up something big time in your DB and want to get the data as it is before.

That's my opinion though.

I know that looks like it's wrapping. It's not. What I did is I literally hit return halfway through the string, between foo and bar. It creates a new line in the HTML source and makes your PHP look horrible. This was in Linux/Apache.

charAt gets a character from a string, and you can switch on them since char is an integer type.

I update my Visual Studio to 2019 version and has this problem, I tried all solution from this question but it doesn't help to start my ASP.NET MVC 5 project with IIS Express. On the scaling factor

When we plot the 2D Fourier transform magnitude, we need to scale the pixel values using log transform to expand the range of the dark pixels into the bright region so we can better see the transform. We use a c value in the equation

s = c log(1+r) 

There is no known way to pre detrmine this scale that I know. Just need to try different values to get on you like. I used 100 in the above example.

You can execute following command in your terminal :

RFC 4180 solution

This does not solve the string in the question since its format is not conforming with RFC 4180; the acceptable encoding is escaping double quote with double quote. The solution below works correctly with CSV files d/l from google spreadsheets.

For each folder to clear, just add another call to the clearFolder() function. This particular code also preserves exe and dll files, and cleans up subfolders as well.

You were almost there with your use of the split function. You just needed to join the strings, like follows.

Although, I would recommend using the os.path.dirname function to do this, you just need to pass the string, and it'll do the work for you. Since, you seem to be on windows, consider using the abspath function too. An example:

Parameters

We are always looking from +z to -z with +y upwards:

glOrtho(left, right, bottom, top, near, far)

• left: minimum x we see
• right: maximum x we see
• bottom: minimum y we see
• top: maximum y we see
• -near: minimum z we see. Yes, this is -1 times near. So a negative input means positive z.
• -far: maximum z we see. Also negative.

How it works under the hood

In the end, OpenGL always "uses":

glOrtho(-1.0, 1.0, -1.0, 1.0, -1.0, 1.0);

If we use neither glOrtho nor glFrustrum, that is what we get.

glOrtho and glFrustrum are just linear transformations (AKA matrix multiplication) such that:

• glOrtho: takes a given 3D rectangle into the default cube
• glFrustrum: takes a given pyramid section into the default cube

This transformation is then applied to all vertexes. This is what I mean in 2D:

The final step after transformation is simple:

• remove any points outside of the cube (culling): just ensure that x, y and z are in [-1, +1]
• ignore the z component and take only x and y, which now can be put into a 2D screen

With glOrtho, z is ignored, so you might as well always use 0.

One reason you might want to use z != 0 is to make sprites hide the background with the depth buffer.

Deprecation

glOrtho is deprecated as of OpenGL 4.5: the compatibility profile 12.1. "FIXED-FUNCTION VERTEX TRANSFORMATIONS" is in red.

So don't use it for production. In any case, understanding it is a good way to get some OpenGL insight.

Modern OpenGL 4 programs calculate the transformation matrix (which is small) on the CPU, and then give the matrix and all points to be transformed to OpenGL, which can do the thousands of matrix multiplications for different points really fast in parallel.

Manually written vertex shaders then do the multiplication explicitly, usually with the convenient vector data types of the OpenGL Shading Language.

Since you write the shader explicitly, this allows you to tweak the algorithm to your needs. Such flexibility is a major feature of more modern GPUs, which unlike the old ones that did a fixed algorithm with some input parameters, can now do arbitrary computations. The matrix for glOrtho is really simple, composed only of scaling and translation:

ng-init is a directive that can be placed inside div's, span's, whatever, whereas onload is an attribute specific to the ng-include directive that functions as an ng-init. To see what I mean try something like:

You'll see that only the second one shows up.

An isolated scope is a scope which does not prototypically inherit from its parent scope. In laymen's terms if you have a widget that doesn't need to read and write to the parent scope arbitrarily then you use an isolate scope on the widget so that the widget and widget container can freely use their scopes without overriding each other's properties.

If your method has no side effects, and doesn't return anything, then it's not doing anything.

If your method does some computation and returns the result of that computation, you can obviously enough assert that the result returned is correct.

If your code doesn't return anything but does have side effects, you can call the code and then assert that the correct side effects have happened. What the side effects are will determine how you do the checks.

In your example, you are calling static methods from your non-returning functions, which makes it tricky unless you can inspect that the result of all those static methods are correct. A better way - from a testing point of view - is to inject actual objects in that you call methods on. You can then use something like EasyMock or Mockito to create a Mock Object in your unit test, and inject the mock object into the class. The Mock Object then lets you assert that the correct functions were called, with the correct values and in the correct order.

Just start from the this directory, not from a longer path. the packages downloaded are partly having very long path names, it fails if you start from a longer path.

For me, I managed to make it work that way. I deployed the automatic click in 5000 milliseconds and then closed the loop after 1000 milliseconds. Then there was only 1 automatic click.

My company has about 24million images come in from manufacturers every month. I was looking for a fast solution to ensure that the images we upload to our catalog are new images.

I want to say that I have searched the internet far and wide to attempt to find an ideal solution. I even developed my own edge detection algorithm.
I have evaluated speed and accuracy of multiple models. My images, which have white backgrounds, work extremely well with phashing. Like redcalx said, I recommend phash or ahash. DO NOT use MD5 Hashing or anyother cryptographic hashes. Unless, you want only EXACT image matches. Any resizing or manipulation that occurs between images will yield a different hash.
