MY OWN SOLUTION

I created a new component called test in this folder:

I also created a mock called test.json in the assests folder created by angular cli (important):

This mock looks like this:

In the controller of my component test import follow rxjs like this

import 'rxjs/add/operator/map'

This is important, because you have to map your response from the http get call, so you get a json and can loop it in your ngFor. Here is my code how I load the mock data. I used http get and called my path to the mock with this path this.http.get("/assets/mock/test/test.json"). After this i map the response and subscribe it. Then I assign it to my variable items and loop it with ngFor in my template. I also export the type. Here is my whole controller code:

It works as expected! I can now add more mock files in the assests folder and just change the path to get it as json. Notice that you have also to import the HTTP and Response in your controller. The same in you app.module.ts (main) like this:

To print the 2nd element in the 1st list ("b"), use print a[0][1] - For the 2nd element in 3rd list ("g"): print a[2][1]

The first brackets reference which nested list you're accessing, the second pair references the item in that list.

To get the error reported from the mysql database about your query you need to use your connection object as the focus.

so:

echo $mysqliDatabaseConnection->error

would echo the error being sent from mysql about your query.

This is not only a 'newbie' scenario. I just ran across this compiler message (GCC 5.4) when refactoring a class to remove some constructor parameters. I forgot to update both the declaration and definition, and the compiler spit out this unintuitive error.

The bottom line seems to be this: If the compiler can't match the definition's signature to the declaration's signature it thinks the definition is not a constructor and then doesn't know how to parse the code and displays this error. Which is also what happened for the OP: std::string is not the same type as string so the declaration's signature differed from the definition's and this message was spit out.

As a side note, it would be nice if the compiler looked for almost-matching constructor signatures and upon finding one suggested that the parameters didn't match rather than giving this message.

In my case, Environment.NewLine was working fine while previewing the report in Visual Studio. But when I tried to publish the rdl to Dynamics 365 CE, I received the error "The report server has RDLSandboxing enabled and the Value expression for the text box 'Textbox10' contains a reference to a type, namespace, or member 'Environment' that is not allowed."

So I had to replace Environment.NewLine with vbcrlf.

Try this, as it solved in my case on a Samsung mobile phone:

For question #1, let's break it into two parts. First, increment any document that has "items.item_name" equal to "my_item_two". For this you'll have to use the positional "$" operator. Something like:

The file you give is a shell script, not an awk program. So, try sh my.awk.

If you want to use awk -f my.awk life.csv > life_out.cs, then remove awk -F , ' and the last line from the file and add FS="," in BEGIN.

You can do this by using Year(), Month() Day() and datepart().

I created Lodash to provide more consistent cross-environment iteration support for arrays, strings, objects, and arguments objects¹. It has since become a superset of Underscore.js, providing more consistent API behavior, more features (like AMD support, deep clone, and deep merge), more thorough documentation and unit tests (tests which run in Node.js, RingoJS, Rhino, Narwhal, PhantomJS, and browsers), better overall performance and optimizations for large arrays/object iteration, and more flexibility with custom builds and template pre-compilation utilities.

Because Lodash is updated more frequently than Underscore.js, a lodash underscore build is provided to ensure compatibility with the latest stable version of Underscore.js.

At one point I was even given push access to Underscore.js, in part because Lodash is responsible for raising more than 30 issues; landing bug fixes, new features, and performance gains in Underscore.js v1.4.x+.

In addition, there are at least three Backbone.js boilerplates that include Lodash by default and Lodash is now mentioned in Backbone.js’s official documentation.

1. Underscore.js has inconsistent support for arrays, strings, objects, and arguments objects. In newer browsers, Underscore.js methods ignore holes in arrays, "Objects" methods iterate arguments objects, strings are treated as array-like, and methods correctly iterate functions (ignoring their "prototype" property) and objects (iterating shadowed properties like "toString" and "valueOf"), while in older browsers they will not. Also, Underscore.js methods, like _.clone, preserve holes in arrays, while others like _.flatten don't.

UPDATE

While these methods work, newer versions of VS Code uses the Ctrl+] shortcut to indent a block of code once, and Ctrl+[ to remove indentation.

This method detects the indentation in a file and indents accordingly.You can change the size of indentation by clicking on the Select Indentation setting in the bottom right of VS Code (looks something like "Spaces: 2"), selecting "Indent using Spaces" from the drop-down menu and then selecting by how many spaces you would like to indent.

Using Base64 to embed images in html is awesome. Nonetheless, please notice that base64 strings can make your email size big.

Therefore,

1) If you have many images, uploading your images to a server and loading those images from the server can make your email size smaller. (You can get a lot of free services via Google)

2) If there are just a few images in your mail, using base64 strings is definitely an awesome option.

Besides the choices provided by existing answers, you can also use a command to generate a base64 string on linux:

Note, though, that tenth element of the list is at index 9, since the list is 0-indexed. That might be where your hang-up is.

In other words, [0:10] doesn't go from index 0-10, it effectively goes from 0 to the tenth element (which gets you indexes 0-9, since the 10 is not inclusive at the end of the slice).

There is no annotation to set default value.
You can set default value only on java class level:

With pandas >= 1.0 there is now a dedicated string datatype:

1) You can convert your column to this pandas string datatype using .astype('string'):

The 'string' extension type solves several issues with object-dtype NumPy arrays:

1. You can accidentally store a mixture of strings and non-strings in an object dtype array. A StringArray can only store strings.

2. object dtype breaks dtype-specific operations like DataFrame.select_dtypes(). There isn’t a clear way to select just text while excluding non-text, but still object-dtype columns.

3. When reading code, the contents of an object dtype array is less clear than string.

The easiest would probably be tag stripping combined with replacement of some tags with text layout elements like dashes for list elements (li) and line breaks for br's and p's. It shouldn't be too hard to extend this to tables.

sorry to use up some space on just a reiteration of the previously given answer - but this is something I always end up in trouble with.

Let's say I've updated the local files to the latest revision, which is 854. Then, I'd want to get an older revision - the version of the file from few revision earlier, say revision 851.

Copy would work:

.. however, I can't be bothered grepping for the repo URL :)

Update seemingly might work:

svn up -r 851 ./l3toks.dtx

... however, it also marks the local copy as "freshly checked out", or rather "same as online revision" (i.e. in Tortoise/RabbitVCS you get a green OK checkmark) - which means you cannot do svn ci -m "rolled back to r 851": simply because the local subversion executable won't notice any local changes, and won't be bothered to upload anything to the online repository.

And, as already answered, reverse merge works - but in this case, one shouldn't rely on shortcut syntax; but specifically state:

svn merge -r HEAD:851 l3toks.dtx
--- Reverse-merging r854 through r852 into 'l3toks.dtx':

I must admit - I would never understand the sentence "Reverse-merging r854 through r852 into file" to mean "Just got r851 of your file, and overwritten whatever you had previously locally - and it is marked as different from latest online revision, so you can check it back in online as a new 'rollback' revision", but I guess (and hope :) ) that is what it does :)

After this, one can use svn diff for a quick make-sure if we got the right revision back locally; and also, the file will be marked with a red exclamation mark in Tortoise/RabbitVCS (that is, different from latest committed version), and so svn ci -m "rolled back to r 851" can run this time.

Also, note that if you, finally, change your mind after reverse merging (i.e. you anyways want to keep working on the latest, HEAD revision, here 854 - after you have rolled back to 851 locally, but haven't yet committed the rollback), you shouldn't use svn up, because it will simply say that it is already "At revision 854"; use instead svn revert --recursive . or similar...

If you're using Xfce (or LXDE) instead of Gnome, there's an equivalent tool: Gigolo.
I suppose, but not sure, it can be installed also on other desktop environments.
It supports FTP, SSH and WebDAV and it is quite intuitive to use: just click on Connect, choose the protocol, fill the parameters and go. You can save the connections for later use.

Java 8 introduced default methods for interfaces using which you can body to the methods. According to OOPs interfaces should act as contract between two systems/parties.

This interface is ugly. For storing simple property it needed two hashmaps and each hashmap by default creates 16 entries by default. Additionally when real object is dereferenced JVM additionally need to remove this weak reference.

The MSDN documentation seems to hint that Clone should perform a deep copy, but it is never explicitly stated:

Resurrecting this to post the DISTINCT FROM option, which has been around since Postgres 8. The approach is similar to Brad Dre's answer. In your case, your select would be something like

You can define the default value in the database designer, or when you create the table. For instance in SQL Server you can set the default vault of a Date field to (getDate()). Use insertable=false as mentioned in your column definition. JPA will not specify that column on inserts and the database will generate the value for you.

You should probably use either DateTime.ParseExact or DateTime.TryParseExact instead. They allow you to specify specific formats. I personally prefer the Try-versions since I think they produce nicer code for the error cases.

I don't have grep or other unix on my box but this worked from VSCode's terminal:

I met the same problem. My activity needs to parse some data from a URL and it's slow. So I create a thread to do so, then show a progress dialog. I let the thread post a message back to UI thread via Handler when it's finished. In Handler.handleMessage, I get the data object (ready now) from thread and populate it to UI. So it's very similar to your example.

After a lot of trial and error it looks like I found a solution. At least now I can rotate screen at any moment, before or after the thread is done. In all tests, the dialog is properly closed and all behaviors are as expected.

What I did is shown below. The goal is to fill my data model (mDataObject) and then populate it to UI. Should allow screen rotation at any moment without surprise.

That's what works for me. I don't know if this is the "correct" method as designed by Android -- they claim this "destroy/recreate activity during screen rotation" actually makes things easier, so I guess it shouldn't be too tricky.

The % is a wildcard for any characters set (none, one or many). Do note that this can get slow on very large datasets so if your database grows you'll need to use fulltext indices.

I was gone through same problem & I resolved it by following steps.

1. Uninstall earlier version of wamp server, which you are trying to install.
2. Install which ever file supports to your configuration (64, 86) from en this link
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install wampserver now.

Calling p.plot after setting the limits is why it is rescaling. You are correct in that turning autoscaling off will get the right answer, but so will calling xlim() or ylim() after your plot command.

I use this quite a lot to invert the x axis, I work in astronomy and we use a magnitude system which is backwards (ie. brighter stars have a smaller magnitude) so I usually swap the limits with

Count-from-epoch

I do not recommend tracking date-time values as a count-from-epoch. Doing so makes debugging tricky as humans cannot discern a meaningful date-time from a number so invalid/unexpected values may slip by. Also such counts are ambiguous, in granularity (whole seconds, milli, micro, nano, etc.) and in epoch (at least two dozen in by various computer systems).

But if you insist you can get a count of milliseconds from the epoch of first moment of 1970 in UTC (1970-01-01T00:00:00) through the Instant class. Be aware this means data-loss as you are truncating any nanoseconds to milliseconds.

In practice, many designers convert pixels to ems, largely because ems afford better zooming. At standard zoom 1em === 16px, multiply pixels by 1em/16px to get ems. For example, 320px === 20em.

In response to the comment, min-width is standard in "mobile-first" design, wherein you start by designing for your smallest screens, and then add ever-increasing media queries, working your way onto larger and larger screens.

Regardless of whether you prefer min-, max-, or combinations thereof, be cognizant of the order of your rules, keeping in mind that if multiple rules match the same element, the later rules will override the earlier rules.

The modern way to do it that maintains the order is:

There is a nice GUI way to do this. Press CTRL+SHIFT+G ( or View-CSM in menu) and here you have a lot of options. With (...) you can do almost anything you want. After things be done, type your commit message into input box and press CTRL+ENTER. Pretty easy. If you have remote repo - you'll see a little spinner mark in bottom left corner near repo name. Press it and sync to remote easily.
But in order to do all of this you must have repo to be initialized in your working directory before (git init from terminal).

Roger's answer was very helpful.

I had a little trouble using it, though, and kept getting the red "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" error dialog. The key was to install the test root certificate with

The original solution (setting the ForkJoinPool common parallelism property) no longer works. Looking at the links in the original answer, an update which breaks this has been back ported to Java 8. Using prevUntil() will allow us to get a distant sibling without having to get all. I had a particularly long set that was too CPU intensive using prevAll().

Eg: Java located in C:\Program Files\Java --> Space in between Program and files would cause the above problem. If you remove the space, it would not show any error.

I was testing out the speed of the functions, and I found consistently that this solution that I had written was much faster than matching. We check the new length of the string as compared to the previous length.

1. StringCentering() takes two input values and it returns a formatted string.
2. When length of s is greater than or equal to deisredLength, the function returns the original string.
3. When length of s is smaller than desiredLength, it will be padded both ends.
4. Due to character spacing is integer and there is no half-space, we can have an uneven split of space. In this implementation, the greater split goes to the leading end.
5. The function requires .NET Framework due to PadLeft() and PadRight().
6. In the last line of the function, binding is from left to right, so firstpad is applied followed by the desiredLength pad.

Here is the C# version:

To aid understanding, integer variable firstpad is used. s.PadLeft(firstpad) applies the (correct number of) leading white spaces. The right-most PadRight(desiredLength) has a lower binding finishes off by applying trailing white spaces.

For some reason, the connection to the server was lost. It could be that the server explicitly closed the connection, or a bug on the server caused it to be closed unexpectedly. Or something between the client and the server (a switch or router) dropped the connection.

It might be server code that caused the problem, and it might not be. If you have access to the server code, you can put some debugging in there to tell you when client connections are closed. That might give you some indication of when and why connections are being dropped.

On the client, you have to write your code to take into account the possibility of the server failing at any time. That's just the way it is: network connections are inherently unreliable.

As mentioned elsewhere, you can just iterate over the array and it will produce all results in order across all dimensions. I had a similar issue and found that it was much simpler to to get rid of the Excel files as soon as possible. As part of the first steps in my package I used Powershell to extract the data out of the Excel files into CSV files. My own Excel files were simple but here

is an excellent article by Tim Smith on extracting data from multiple Excel files and/or multiple sheets.

Once the Excel files have been converted to CSV the data import is much less complicated.

There is an important difference between std::min, std::max and fmin and fmax.

std::min(-0.0,0.0) = -0.0
std::max(-0.0,0.0) = -0.0

whereas

fmin(-0.0, 0.0) = -0.0
fmax(-0.0, 0.0) =  0.0

So std::min is not a 1-1 substitute for fmin. The functions std::min and std::max are not commutative. To get the same result with doubles with fmin and fmax one should swap the arguments

fmin(-0.0, 0.0) = std::min(-0.0,  0.0)
fmax(-0.0, 0.0) = std::max( 0.0, -0.0)

But as far as I can tell all these functions are implementation defined anyway in this case so to be 100% sure you have to test how they are implemented.

There is another important difference. For x ! = NaN:

Looking at the assembly shows that Clang uses builtin code for fmax and fmin whereas GCC calls them from a math library. The assembly for clang for fmax with -O3 is

So this shows once again that std::max is a subset of fmax and that when you use a looser floating point model which does not have nan or signed zero then fmax and std::max are the same. The same argument obviously applies to fmin and std::min.

It is used when we want to wait for more than one thread to complete its task. It is similar to join in threads.

Where we can use CountDownLatch

Consider a scenario where we have requirement where we have three threads "A", "B" and "C" and we want to start thread "C" only when "A" and "B" threads completes or partially completes their task.

It can be applied to real world IT scenario

Consider a scenario where manager divided modules between development teams (A and B) and he wants to assign it to QA team for testing only when both the teams completes their task.

Limitation of JOIN: Above example can also be achieved with JOIN, but JOIN can not be used in two scenarios:

1. When we use ExecutorService instead of Thread class to create threads.
2. Modify above example where Manager wants to handover code to QA team as soon as Development completes their 80% task. It means that CountDownLatch allow us to modify implementation which can be used to wait for another thread for their partial execution.

This seems to be an issue with local Maven repository. (i.e. .m2 folder) may be due to some corrupt .jar file

For me, the following actions helped to overcome this issue.

1. On my local file system, I've deleted the directory .m2 (Maven local repository)

2. In Eclipse, updated the project (select Maven > Update Project)

3. Ran the app again on Tomcat server.

DBeaver Community Edition (dbeaver.io) makes it trivial to connect to a database, then import a CSV file for upload to a PostgreSQL database. It also makes it easy to issue queries, retrieve data, and download result sets to CSV, JSON, SQL, or other common data formats.

It is a FOSS multi-platform database tool for SQL programmers, DBAs and analysts that supports all popular databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, MS Access, Teradata, Firebird, Hive, Presto, etc. It's a viable FOSS competitor to TOAD for Postgres, TOAD for SQL Server, or Toad for Oracle.

I have no affiliation with DBeaver. I love the price (FREE!) and full functionality, but I wish they would open up this DBeaver/Eclipse application more and make it easy to add analytics widgets to DBeaver / Eclipse, rather than requiring users to pay for the $199 annual subscription just to create graphs and charts directly within the application. My Java coding skills are rusty and I don't feel like taking weeks to relearn how to build Eclipse widgets, (only to find that DBeaver has probably disabled the ability to add third-party widgets to the DBeaver Community Edition.)

Can DBeaver power users who are Java developers provide some insight about the steps to create analytics widgets to add into the Community Edition of DBeaver?

FileReader methods support

FileReader.readAsBinaryString() is deprecated. Don't use it! It's no longer in the W3C File API working draft:

The reason behind readAsBinaryString() deprecation is in my opinion the following: the standard for JavaScript strings are DOMString which only accept UTF-8 characters, NOT random binary data. So don't use readAsBinaryString(), that's not safe and ECMAScript-compliant at all.

We know that JavaScript strings are not supposed to store binary data but Mozilla in some sort can. That's dangerous in my opinion. Blob and typed arrays (ArrayBuffer and the not-yet-implemented but not necessary StringView) were invented for one purpose: allow the use of pure binary data, without UTF-8 strings restrictions.

XMLHttpRequest upload support

XMLHttpRequest.send() has the following invocations options:

1. send() the FileReader.result of FileReader.readAsArrayBuffer ( fileObject ). It is more complicated to manipulate (you'll have to make a separate send() for it) but it's the RECOMMENDED APPROACH.
2. send() the FileReader.result of FileReader.readAsDataURL( fileObject ). It generates useless overhead and compression latency, requires a decompression step on the server-side BUT it's easy to manipulate as a string in Javascript.
3. Being non-standard and sendAsBinary() the FileReader.result of FileReader.readAsBinaryString( fileObject )

MDN states that:

The best way to send binary content (like in files upload) is using ArrayBuffers or Blobs in conjuncton with the send() method. However, if you want to send a stringifiable raw data, use the sendAsBinary() method instead, or the StringView (Non native) typed arrays superclass.

It should suffice to say whether bcrypt or SHA-512 (in the context of an appropriate algorithm like PBKDF2) is good enough. And the answer is yes, either algorithm is secure enough that a breach will occur through an implementation flaw, not cryptanalysis.

If you insist on knowing which is "better", SHA-512 has had in-depth reviews by NIST and others. It's good, but flaws have been recognized that, while not exploitable now, have led to the the SHA-3 competition for new hash algorithms. Also, keep in mind that the study of hash algorithms is "newer" than that of ciphers, and cryptographers are still learning about them.

Even though bcrypt as a whole hasn't had as much scrutiny as Blowfish itself, I believe that being based on a cipher with a well-understood structure gives it some inherent security that hash-based authentication lacks. Also, it is easier to use common GPUs as a tool for attacking SHA-2–based hashes; because of its memory requirements, optimizing bcrypt requires more specialized hardware like FPGA with some on-board RAM.

Note: bcrypt is an algorithm that uses Blowfish internally. It is not an encryption algorithm itself. It is used to irreversibly obscure passwords, just as hash functions are used to do a "one-way hash".

Cryptographic hash algorithms are designed to be impossible to reverse. In other words, given only the output of a hash function, it should take "forever" to find a message that will produce the same hash output. In fact, it should be computationally infeasible to find any two messages that produce the same hash value. Unlike a cipher, hash functions aren't parameterized with a key; the same input will always produce the same output.

If someone provides a password that hashes to the value stored in the password table, they are authenticated. In particular, because of the irreversibility of the hash function, it's assumed that the user isn't an attacker that got hold of the hash and reversed it to find a working password.

Now consider bcrypt. It uses Blowfish to encrypt a magic string, using a key "derived" from the password. Later, when a user enters a password, the key is derived again, and if the ciphertext produced by encrypting with that key matches the stored ciphertext, the user is authenticated. The ciphertext is stored in the "password" table, but the derived key is never stored.

In order to break the cryptography here, an attacker would have to recover the key from the ciphertext. This is called a "known-plaintext" attack, since the attack knows the magic string that has been encrypted, but not the key used. Blowfish has been studied extensively, and no attacks are yet known that would allow an attacker to find the key with a single known plaintext.

So, just like irreversible algorithms based cryptographic digests, bcrypt produces an irreversible output, from a password, salt, and cost factor. Its strength lies in Blowfish's resistance to known plaintext attacks, which is analogous to a "first pre-image attack" on a digest algorithm. Since it can be used in place of a hash algorithm to protect passwords, bcrypt is confusingly referred to as a "hash" algorithm itself.

Assuming that rainbow tables have been thwarted by proper use of salt, any truly irreversible function reduces the attacker to trial-and-error. And the rate that the attacker can make trials is determined by the speed of that irreversible "hash" algorithm. If a single iteration of a hash function is used, an attacker can make millions of trials per second using equipment that costs on the order of $1000, testing all passwords up to 8 characters long in a few months.

If however, the digest output is "fed back" thousands of times, it will take hundreds of years to test the same set of passwords on that hardware. Bcrypt achieves the same "key strengthening" effect by iterating inside its key derivation routine, and a proper hash-based method like PBKDF2 does the same thing; in this respect, the two methods are similar.

So, my recommendation of bcrypt stems from the assumptions 1) that a Blowfish has had a similar level of scrutiny as the SHA-2 family of hash functions, and 2) that cryptanalytic methods for ciphers are better developed than those for hash functions.

Consider two class-typed variables:

__getitem__ can be used to implement "lazy" dict subclasses. The aim is to avoid instantiating a dictionary at once that either already has an inordinately large number of key-value pairs in existing containers, or has an expensive hashing process between existing containers of key-value pairs, or if the dictionary represents a single group of resources that are distributed over the internet.

As a simple example, suppose you have two lists, keys and values, whereby {k:v for k,v in zip(keys, values)} is the dictionary that you need, which must be made lazy for speed or efficiency purposes:

As I said in the comments, a <div> element does not have a value attribute. Although (very) bad, it can be accessed as:

If you take a look at it, you will see that it retrieve the graphics from the JComponent itself (indirectly with javax.swing.JComponent.safelyGetGraphics(Component, Component)) which itself takes it eventually from its first "Heavyweight parent" (clipped to the component bounds) which it self takes it from its corresponding native resource.

Regarding the fact that you have to cast the Graphics to a Graphics2D, it just happens that when working with the Window Toolkit, the Graphics actually extends Graphics2D, yet you could use other Graphics which do "not have to" extends Graphics2D (it does not happen very often but AWT/Swing allows you to do that).

In Java multiple inheritance is not permitted. It was excluded from the language as a design decision, primarily to avoid circular dependencies.

Scenario1: As you have learned the following is not possible in Java:

Java Revisited

1. Resource included by include directive is loaded during jsp translation time, while resource included by include action is loaded during request time.
2. Any change on included resource will not be visible in case of include directive until jsp file compiles again. While in case of include action, any change in included resource will be visible in next request.

As stated in many other responses, m_ is a prefix that denotes member variables. It is/was commonly used in the C++ world and propagated to other languages too, including Java.

In a modern IDE it is completely redundant as the syntax highlighting makes it evident which variables are local and which ones are members. However, by the time syntax highlighting appeared in the late 90s, the convention had been around for many years and was firmly set (at least in the C++ world).

I do not know which tutorials you are referring to, but I will guess that they are using the convention due to one of two factors:

• They are C++ tutorials, written by people used to the m_ convention, and/or...
• They write code in plain (monospaced) text, without syntax highlighting, so the m_ convention is useful to make the examples clearer.

A span tag is only as wide as its contents, so there is no 'center' of a span tag. There is no extra space on either side of the content.

Getting data from your database table using entity framework

The above examples are using hard coded items for the options. So i thought i will add some sample code to get data using Entity framework as a lot of people use that.

Let's assume your DbContext object has a property called Employees, which is of type DbSet<Employee> where the Employee entity class has an Id and Name property like this

Format converts the values to strings. IsDate still returns true because it can parse that string and get a valid date.

If you don't want to change the cells to string, don't use Format. (IOW, don't convert them to strings in the first place.) Use the Cell.NumberFormat, and set it to the date format you want displayed.

I have seen answers here and almost all did well. However, I have written my own version that utilizes a Dictionary for managing the bracket pairs and a stack to monitor the order of detected braces. I have also written a blog post for this.

I kept having this problem whenever I tried to start an app pool more than once. Rather than rebooting, I simply run the Application Information Service. (Note: This service is set to run manually on my system, which may be the reason for the problem.) From its description, it seems obvious that it is somehow involved:

Facilitates the running of interactive applications with additional administrative privileges. If this service is stopped, users will be unable to launch applications with the additional administrative privileges they may require to perform desired user tasks.

Presumably, IIS manager (as well as most other processes running as an administrator) does not maintain admin privileges throughout the life of the process, but instead request admin rights from the Application Information service on a case-by-case basis.

The below works for Normal mode: I agree with Dan Olson's answer that you should probably be in normal mode for most deletions. More details below.

If the cursor is inside the word:
diw to delete in the word (doesn't include spaces)
daw to delete around the word (includes spaces before the next word).

If the cursor is at the start of the word, just press dw.

This can be multiplied by adding the usual numbers for movement, e.g. 2w to move forward 2 words, so d2w deletes two words.

Insert Mode ^w
The idea of using hjkl for movement in Vim is that it's more productive to keep your hands on the home row. At the end of a word ^w works great to quickly delete the word. If you've gone into insert mode, entered some text and used the arrow keys to end up in the middle of the word you've gone against the home-row philosophy.
If you're in normal mode and want to change the word you can simply use the c (change) rather than d (delete) if you'd like to completely change the word, and re-enter insert mode without having to press i to get back to typing.

Always use a password hashing algorithm: Argon2, scrypt, bcrypt or PBKDF2.

Argon2 won the 2015 password hashing competition. Scrypt, bcrypt and PBKDF2 are older algorithms that are considered less preferred now, but still fundamentally sound, so if your platform doesn't support Argon2 yet, it's ok to use another algorithm for now.

Never store a password directly in a database. Don't encrypt it, either: otherwise, if your site gets breached, the attacker gets the decryption key and so can obtain all passwords. Passwords MUST be hashed.

A password hash has different properties from a hash table hash or a cryptographic hash. Never use an ordinary cryptographic hash such as MD5, SHA-256 or SHA-512 on a password. A password hashing algorithm uses a salt, which is unique (not used for any other user or in anybody else's database). The salt is necessary so that attackers can't just pre-calculate the hashes of common passwords: with a salt, they have to restart the calculation for every account. A password hashing algorithm is intrinsically slow — as slow as you can afford. Slowness hurts the attacker a lot more than you because the attacker has to try many different passwords. For more information, see How to securely hash passwords.

A password hash encodes four pieces of information:

• An indicator of which algorithm is used. This is necessary for agility: cryptographic recommendations change over time. You need to be able to transition to a new algorithm.
• A difficulty or hardness indicator. The higher this value, the more computation is needed to calculate the hash. This should be a constant or a global configuration value in the password change function, but it should increase over time as computers get faster, so you need to remember the value for each account. Some algorithms have a single numerical value, others have more parameters there (for example to tune CPU usage and RAM usage separately).
• The salt. Since the salt must be globally unique, it has to be stored for each account. The salt should be generated randomly on each password change.
• The hash proper, i.e. the output of the mathematical calculation in the hashing algorithm.

Many libraries include a pair functions that conveniently packages this information as a single string: one that takes the algorithm indicator, the hardness indicator and the password, generates a random salt and returns the full hash string; and one that takes a password and the full hash string as input and returns a boolean indicating whether the password was correct. There's no universal standard, but a common encoding is

where algorithm is a number or a short alphanumeric string encoding the choice of algorithm, parameters is a printable string, and salt and output are encoded in Base64 without terminating =.

16 bytes are enough for the salt and the output. (See e.g. recommendations for Argon2.) Encoded in Base64, that's 21 characters each. The other two parts depend on the algorithm and parameters, but 20–40 characters are typical. That's a total of about 82 ASCII characters (CHAR(82), and no need for Unicode), to which you should add a safety margin if you think it's going to be difficult to enlarge the field later.

If you encode the hash in a binary format, you can get it down to 1 byte for the algorithm, 1–4 bytes for the hardness (if you hard-code some of the parameters), and 16 bytes each for the salt and output, for a total of 37 bytes. Say 40 bytes (BINARY(40)) to have at least a couple of spare bytes. Note that these are 8-bit bytes, not printable characters, in particular the field can include null bytes.

Note that the length of the hash is completely unrelated to the length of the password.

I was using 'await' outside of an 'async' function and for whatever reason that results in a 'missing ) after argument list' error.

The solution was to make the function asynchronous

That really depends on if you expect to find the object, or not. If you follow the school of thought that exceptions should be used for indicating something, well, err, exceptional has occured then:

I don't think this is possible with AD. The distinguishedName attribute is the only thing I know of that contains the OU piece on which you're trying to search, so you'd need a wildcard to get results for objects under those OUs. Unfortunately, the wildcard character isn't supported on DNs.

There is vast literature on all that; Wikipedia is a good start. In essence, these RNGs are called Pseudo Random Number Generators because they are in fact fully algorithmic: given the same seed, you get the same sequence. And that is a feature and not a bug.

I did most of the suggested stuff here, still didnt work. Tried this and it worked: Open your XAMPP Control Panel, locate the Config button for the Apache module. Click on the Config button and Select PHP (php.ini). Open with any text editor and remove the semi-column before php_openssl. Save and Restart Apache. That should do!

If you are on SQL Server 2008 or later version, you can use the ROLLUP() GROUP BY function:

In addition to the still very relevant answer of jujule, I find it quite important to also be aware of the implications of order_by() on distinct("field_name") queries. This is, however, a Postgres only feature!

If you are using Postgres and if you define a field name that the query should be distinct for, then order_by() needs to begin with the same field name (or field names) in the same sequence (there may be more fields afterward).

Note

When you specify field names, you must provide an order_by() in the QuerySet, and the fields in order_by() must start with the fields in distinct(), in the same order.

For example, SELECT DISTINCT ON (a) gives you the first row for each value in column a. If you don’t specify an order, you’ll get some arbitrary row.

If you want to e-g- extract a list of cities that you know shops in , the example of jujule would have to be adapted to this:

I got this error after deleting Xcode. I fixed it by resetting the command line tools path with sudo xcode-select -r.

1. Enter into folder dnspython
2. You will find dns directory, now copy it
3. Then paste it to inside site-packages directory

That's all. Now your problem will go

If dnspython isn't installed you can install it this way :

1. go to your python installation folder site-packages directory
2. open cmd here and enter the command : pip install dnspython

Now, dnspython will be installed successfully.

You can create a 'comment' table, with an id as primary key, then you add a text field to capture the text inserted by the user and you need another field to link the comment table to the article table (foreign key). Plus you need a field to store the user that has entered a comment, this field can be the user's email. Then you capture via GET or POST the user's email and comment and you insert everything in the DB:

This is a first hint. Of course adding a comment feature it takes a little bit. Then you should think about a form to let the admin to approve the comments and how to publish the comments in the end of articles.
