Encrypt & Decrypt using PyCrypto AES 256

You may need the following two functions: pad- to pad(when doing encryption) and unpad- to unpad (when doing decryption) when the length of input is not a multiple of BLOCK_SIZE.

BS = 16
pad = lambda s: s + (BS - len(s) % BS) * chr(BS - len(s) % BS)
unpad = lambda s : s[:-ord(s[len(s)-1:])]

So you're asking the length of key? You can use the md5sum of the key rather than use it directly.

More, according to my little experience of using PyCrypto, the IV is used to mix up the output of a encryption when input is same, so the IV is chosen as a random string, and use it as part of the encryption output, and then use it to decrypt the message.

And here's my implementation, hope it will be useful for you:

import base64
from Crypto.Cipher import AES
from Crypto import Random

class AESCipher:
    def __init__( self, key ):
        self.key = key

    def encrypt( self, raw ):
        raw = pad(raw)
        iv = Random.new().read( AES.block_size )
        cipher = AES.new( self.key, AES.MODE_CBC, iv )
        return base64.b64encode( iv + cipher.encrypt( raw ) )

    def decrypt( self, enc ):
        enc = base64.b64decode(enc)
        iv = enc[:16]
        cipher = AES.new(self.key, AES.MODE_CBC, iv )
        return unpad(cipher.decrypt( enc[16:] ))

Classpath resource not found when running as jar

resource.getFile() expects the resource itself to be available on the file system, i.e. it can't be nested inside a jar file. This is why it works when you run your application in STS but doesn't work once you've built your application and run it from the executable jar. Rather than using getFile() to access the resource's contents, I'd recommend using getInputStream() instead. That'll allow you to read the resource's content regardless of where it's located.

"Notice: Undefined variable", "Notice: Undefined index", and "Notice: Undefined offset" using PHP

Generally because of "bad programming", and a possibility for mistakes now or later.

  1. If it's a mistake, make a proper assignment to the variable first: $varname=0;
  2. If it really is only defined sometimes, test for it: if (isset($varname)), before using it
  3. If it's because you spelled it wrong, just correct that
  4. Maybe even turn of the warnings in you PHP-settings

How do I generate random numbers in Dart?

Let me solve this question with a practical example in the form of a simple dice rolling app that calls 1 of 6 dice face images randomly to the screen when tapped.

first declare a variable that generates random numbers (don't forget to import dart.math). Then declare a variable that parses the initial random number within constraints between 1 and 6 as an Integer.

Both variables are static private in order to be initialized once.This is is not a huge deal but would be good practice if you had to initialize a whole bunch of random numbers.

static var _random = new Random();
static var _diceface = _random.nextInt(6) +1 ;

Now create a Gesture detection widget with a ClipRRect as a child to return one of the six dice face images to the screen when tapped.

GestureDetector(
          onTap: () {
            setState(() {
              _diceface = _rnd.nextInt(6) +1 ;
            });
          },
          child: ClipRRect(
            clipBehavior: Clip.hardEdge,
            borderRadius: BorderRadius.circular(100.8),
              child: Image(
                image: AssetImage('images/diceface$_diceface.png'),
                fit: BoxFit.cover,
              ),
          )
        ),

A new random number is generated each time you tap the screen and that number is referenced to select which dice face image is chosen.

I hoped this example helped :)

Python IndentationError: unexpected indent

Run your program with

python -t script.py

This will warn you if you have mixed tabs and spaces.

On *nix systems, you can see where the tabs are by running

cat -A script.py

and you can automatically convert tabs to 4 spaces with the command

expand -t 4 script.py > fixed_script.py

PS. Be sure to use a programming editor (e.g. emacs, vim), not a word processor, when programming. You won't get this problem with a programming editor.

PPS. For emacs users, M-x whitespace-mode will show the same info as cat -A from within an emacs buffer!

How to Specify "Vary: Accept-Encoding" header in .htaccess

I'm afraid Aularon didn't provide enough steps to complete the process. With a little trial and error, I was able to successfully enable Gzipping on my dedicated WHM server.

Below are the steps:

  • Run EasyApache within WHM, select Deflate within the Exhaustive Options list, and rebuild the server.

  • Once done, goto Services Configuration >> Apache Configuration >> Include Editor >> Post VirtualHost Include, select All Versions, and then paste the mod_headers.c and mod_headers.c code (listed above in Aularon's post) on top of on another within the input field.

  • Once saved, I was seeing a 75.36% data savings on average! You can run a before and after test by using this HTTP Compression tool to see your own results: http://www.whatsmyip.org/http_compression/

Hope this works for you all!

Notepad++ - How can I replace blank lines

You can record a macro that removes the first blank line, and positions the cursor correctly for the second line. Then you can repeat executing that macro.

Python: How to create a unique file name?

To create a unique file path if its exist, use random package to generate a new string name for file. You may refer below code for same.

import os
import random
import string

def getUniquePath(folder, filename):
    path = os.path.join(folder, filename)
    while os.path.exists(path):
         path = path.split('.')[0] + ''.join(random.choice(string.ascii_lowercase) for i in range(10)) + '.' + path.split('.')[1]
    return path

Now you can use this path to create file accordingly.

MySQL query to get column names?

You can use the following query for MYSQL:

SHOW `columns` FROM `your-table`;

Below is the example code which shows How to implement above syntax in php to list the names of columns:

$sql = "SHOW COLUMNS FROM your-table";
$result = mysqli_query($conn,$sql);
while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)){
    echo $row['Field']."<br>";
}

For Details about output of SHOW COLUMNS FROM TABLE visit: MySQL Refrence.

How to AUTO_INCREMENT in db2?

You're looking for is called an IDENTITY column:

create table student (
   sid integer not null GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY (START WITH 1 INCREMENT BY 1)
  ,sname varchar(30)
  ,PRIMARY KEY (sid)
);

A sequence is another option for doing this, but you need to determine which one is proper for your particular situation. Read this for more information comparing sequences to identity columns.

Run MySQLDump without Locking Tables

To dump large tables, you should combine the --single-transaction option with --quick.

Why can't C# interfaces contain fields?

Others have given the 'Why', so I'll just add that your interface can define a Control; if you wrap it in a property:

public interface IView {
    Control Year { get; }
}

public Form : IView {
    public Control Year { get { return uxYear; } } //numeric text box or whatever

From ND to 1D arrays

One of the simplest way is to use flatten(), like this example :

 import numpy as np

 batch_y =train_output.iloc[sample, :]
 batch_y = np.array(batch_y).flatten()

My array it was like this :

    0
0   6
1   6
2   5
3   4
4   3
.
.
.

After using flatten():

array([6, 6, 5, ..., 5, 3, 6])

It's also the solution of errors of this type :

Cannot feed value of shape (100, 1) for Tensor 'input/Y:0', which has shape '(?,)'

Should Jquery code go in header or footer?

For me jQuery is a little bit special. Maybe an exception to the norm. There are so many other scripts that rely on it, so its quite important that it loads early so the other scripts that come later will work as intended. As someone else pointed out even this page loads jQuery in the head section.

How to decompile a whole Jar file?

2009: JavaDecompiler can do a good job with a jar: since 0.2.5, All files, in JAR files, are displayed.

http://java.decompiler.free.fr/sites/default/screenshots/screenshot1.png

See also the question "How do I “decompile” Java class files?".

The JD-Eclipse doesn't seem to have changed since late 2009 though (see Changes).
So its integration with latest Eclipse (3.8, 4.2+) might be problematic.

JD-Core is actively maintained.

Both are the result of the fantastic work of (SO user) Emmanuel Dupuy.

Add Expires headers

In ASP.NET there is similar object, you can use Caching Portions in WebFormsUserControls in order to cache objects of a page for a period of time and save server resources. This is also known as fragment caching.
If you include this code to top of your user control, a version of the control stored in the output cache for 150 seconds. You can create your own control that would contain expire header for a specific resource you want.

<%@ OutputCache Duration="150" VaryByParam="None" %>

This article explain it completely: Caching Portions of an ASP.NET Page

Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory

I encounter same problem when I setup tomcat and mysql server on VirtualBox VM using chef.

in this case, I think true problem is VirtualBox seems to assign non-localhost address to eth0 like

[vagrant@localhost webapps]$ /sbin/ifconfig
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 08:00:27:60:FC:47
      inet addr:10.0.2.15  Bcast:10.0.2.255  Mask:255.255.255.0

then auto-detection feature of chef's recipe using 10.0.2.15 as mysql server bind address.

so specify bind address for node params of chef's recipe solve problem in my case. I hope this information helps people using chef with vagrant.

{
  "name" : "db",
  "default_attributes" : {
   "mysql" : {
    "bind_address" : "localhost"
    ...
   }

Git reset single file in feature branch to be the same as in master

If you want to revert the file to its state in master:

git checkout origin/master [filename]

pip install fails with "connection error: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:598)"

Short answer

If running into this at home on a corporate machine, try again at work.

Details

I ran into this over the weekend. Pip and conda both broken, unable to install or update. SO was helpful, but many answers were problematic on a corporate machine - the solutions require the ability to pip install (already does not work) or require downloading an installer (the ones I wanted to download were prohibited by firewall settings).

What worked for me was to try again when I was on prem. This worked. It turned out the corporate firewall settings were different when using the machine at home vs at work.

Show Current Location and Update Location in MKMapView in Swift

Swift 5.1

Get Current Location and Set on MKMapView

Import libraries:

import MapKit
import CoreLocation

set delegates:

CLLocationManagerDelegate , MKMapViewDelegate

Declare variable:

let locationManager = CLLocationManager()

Write this code on viewDidLoad():

self.locationManager.requestAlwaysAuthorization()
self.locationManager.requestWhenInUseAuthorization()

if CLLocationManager.locationServicesEnabled() {
    locationManager.delegate = self
    locationManager.desiredAccuracy = kCLLocationAccuracyBest
    locationManager.startUpdatingLocation()
}
mapView.delegate = self
mapView.mapType = .standard
mapView.isZoomEnabled = true
mapView.isScrollEnabled = true

if let coor = mapView.userLocation.location?.coordinate{
    mapView.setCenter(coor, animated: true)
}

Write delegate method for location:

func locationManager(_ manager: CLLocationManager, didUpdateLocations
    locations: [CLLocation]) {
    let locValue:CLLocationCoordinate2D = manager.location!.coordinate

    mapView.mapType = MKMapType.standard

    let span = MKCoordinateSpan(latitudeDelta: 0.05, longitudeDelta: 0.05)
    let region = MKCoordinateRegion(center: locValue, span: span)
    mapView.setRegion(region, animated: true)

    let annotation = MKPointAnnotation()
    annotation.coordinate = locValue
    annotation.title = "You are Here"
    mapView.addAnnotation(annotation)
}

Reset CSS display property to default value

If using javascript is allowed, you can set the display property to an empty string. This will cause it to use the default for that particular element.

var element = document.querySelector('span.selector');

// Set display to empty string to use default for that element
element.style.display = '';

Here is a link to a jsbin.

This is nice because you don't have to worry about the different types of display to revert to (block, inline, inline-block, table-cell, etc).

But, it requires javascript, so if you are looking for a css-only solution, then this is not the solution for you.

Note: This overrides inline styles, but not styles set in css

Why am I seeing net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED errors after upgrading to Cordova Android 8?

We are using the cordova-custom-config plugin to manage our Android configuration. In this case the solution was to add a new custom-preference to our config.xml:

    <platform name="android">

        <preference name="orientation" value="portrait" />

        <!-- ... other settings ... -->

        <!-- Allow http connections (by default Android only allows https) -->
        <!-- See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54752716/ -->
        <custom-preference
            name="android-manifest/application/@android:usesCleartextTraffic"
            value="true" />

    </platform>

Does anybody know how to do this only for development builds? I would be happy for release builds to leave this setting false.

(I see the iOS configuration offers buildType="debug" for that, but I'm not sure if this applies to Android configuration.)

how to remove time from datetime

Personally, I'd return the full, native datetime value and format this in the client code.

That way, you can use the user's locale setting to give the correct meaning to that user.

Is <img> element block level or inline level?

<img> is a replaced element; it has a display value of inline by default, but its default dimensions are defined by the embedded image's intrinsic values, like it were inline-block. You can set properties like border/border-radius, padding/margin, width, height, etc. on an image.

Replaced elements : They're elements whose contents are not affected by the current document's styles. The position of the replaced element can be affected using CSS, but not the contents of the replaced element itself.

Difference between partition key, composite key and clustering key in Cassandra?

In database design, a compound key is a set of superkeys that is not minimal.

A composite key is a set that contains a compound key and at least one attribute that is not a superkey

Given table: EMPLOYEES {employee_id, firstname, surname}

Possible superkeys are:

{employee_id}
{employee_id, firstname}
{employee_id, firstname, surname}

{employee_id} is the only minimal superkey, which also makes it the only candidate key--given that {firstname} and {surname} do not guarantee uniqueness. Since a primary key is defined as a chosen candidate key, and only one candidate key exists in this example, {employee_id} is the minimal superkey, the only candidate key, and the only possible primary key.

The exhaustive list of compound keys is:

{employee_id, firstname}
{employee_id, surname}
{employee_id, firstname, surname}

The only composite key is {employee_id, firstname, surname} since that key contains a compound key ({employee_id,firstname}) and an attribute that is not a superkey ({surname}).

Create a SQL query to retrieve most recent records

WHERE Date in ( SELECT MAX(Date) from Test_Most_Recent group by User)

ES6 Map in Typescript

EDIT (Jun 5 2019): While the idea that "TypeScript supports Map natively" is still true, since version 2.1 TypeScript supports something called Record.

type MyMapLikeType = Record<string, IPerson>;
const peopleA: MyMapLikeType = {
    "a": { name: "joe" },
    "b": { name: "bart" },
};

Unfortunately the first generic parameter (key type) is still not fully respected: even with a string type, something like peopleA[0] (a number) is still valid.

EDIT (Apr 25 2016): The answer below is old and should not be considered the best answer. TypeScript does support Maps "natively" now, so it simply allows ES6 Maps to be used when the output is ES6. For ES5, it does not provide polyfills; you need to embed them yourself.

For more information, refer to mohamed hegazy's answer below for a more modern answer, or even this reddit comment for a short version.

As of 1.5.0 beta, TypeScript does not yet support Maps. It is not yet part of the roadmap, either.

The current best solution is an object with typed key and value (sometimes called a hashmap). For an object with keys of type string, and values of type number:

var arr : { [key:string]:number; } = {};

Some caveats, however:

  1. keys can only be of type string or number
  2. It actually doesn't matter what you use as the key type, since numbers/strings are still accepted interchangeably (only the value is enforced).

With the above example:

// OK:
arr["name"] = 1; // String key is fine
arr[0] = 0; // Number key is fine too

// Not OK:
arr[{ a: "a" }] = 2; // Invalid key
arr[3] = "name"; // Invalid value

ASP.NET MVC Html.ValidationSummary(true) does not display model errors

Maybe like that:

[HttpPost]
public ActionResult Register(Member member)
{
    try
    {
       if (!ModelState.IsValid)
       {
          ModelState.AddModelError("keyName", "Form is not valid");
          return View();
       }
       MembersManager.RegisterMember(member);
    }
    catch (Exception ex)
    {
       ModelState.AddModelError("keyName", ex.Message);
       return View(member);
    }
}

And in display add:

<div class="alert alert-danger">
  @Html.ValidationMessage("keyName")
</div>

OR

<div class="alert alert-danger">
  @Html.ValidationSummary(false)
</div>

Simple prime number generator in Python

This seems homework-y, so I'll give a hint rather than a detailed explanation. Correct me if I've assumed wrong.

You're doing fine as far as bailing out when you see an even divisor.

But you're printing 'count' as soon as you see even one number that doesn't divide into it. 2, for instance, does not divide evenly into 9. But that doesn't make 9 a prime. You might want to keep going until you're sure no number in the range matches.

(as others have replied, a Sieve is a much more efficient way to go... just trying to help you understand why this specific code isn't doing what you want)

What algorithm for a tic-tac-toe game can I use to determine the "best move" for the AI?

The strategy from Wikipedia for playing a perfect game (win or tie every time) seems like straightforward pseudo-code:

Quote from Wikipedia (Tic Tac Toe#Strategy)

A player can play a perfect game of Tic-tac-toe (to win or, at least, draw) if they choose the first available move from the following list, each turn, as used in Newell and Simon's 1972 tic-tac-toe program.[6]

  1. Win: If you have two in a row, play the third to get three in a row.

  2. Block: If the opponent has two in a row, play the third to block them.

  3. Fork: Create an opportunity where you can win in two ways.

  4. Block Opponent's Fork:

    Option 1: Create two in a row to force the opponent into defending, as long as it doesn't result in them creating a fork or winning. For example, if "X" has a corner, "O" has the center, and "X" has the opposite corner as well, "O" must not play a corner in order to win. (Playing a corner in this scenario creates a fork for "X" to win.)

    Option 2: If there is a configuration where the opponent can fork, block that fork.

  5. Center: Play the center.

  6. Opposite Corner: If the opponent is in the corner, play the opposite corner.

  7. Empty Corner: Play an empty corner.

  8. Empty Side: Play an empty side.

Recognizing what a "fork" situation looks like could be done in a brute-force manner as suggested.

Note: A "perfect" opponent is a nice exercise but ultimately not worth 'playing' against. You could, however, alter the priorities above to give characteristic weaknesses to opponent personalities.

What's the best way to use R scripts on the command line (terminal)?

Content of script.r:

#!/usr/bin/env Rscript

args = commandArgs(trailingOnly = TRUE)
message(sprintf("Hello %s", args[1L]))

The first line is the shebang line. It’s best practice to use /usr/bin/env Rscript instead of hard-coding the path to your R installation. Otherwise you risk your script breaking on other computers.

Next, make it executable (on the command line):

chmod +x script.r

Invocation from command line:

./script.r world
# Hello world

How to reset db in Django? I get a command 'reset' not found error

Similar to LisaD's answer, Django Extensions has a great reset_db command that totally drops everything, instead of just truncating the tables like "flush" does.

python ./manage.py reset_db

Merely flushing the tables wasn't fixing a persistent error that occurred when I was deleting objects. Doing a reset_db fixed the problem.

How can I get a specific field of a csv file?

import csv

def read_cell(x, y):
    with open('file.csv', 'r') as f:
        reader = csv.reader(f)
        y_count = 0
        for n in reader:
            if y_count == y:
                cell = n[x]
                return cell
            y_count += 1

print (read_cell(4, 8))

This example prints cell 4, 8 in Python 3.

When does socket.recv(recv_size) return?

It'll have the same behavior as the underlying recv libc call see the man page for an official description of behavior (or read a more general description of the sockets api).

Error in contrasts when defining a linear model in R

If your independent variable (RHS variable) is a factor or a character taking only one value then that type of error occurs.

Example: iris data in R

(model1 <- lm(Sepal.Length ~ Sepal.Width + Species, data=iris))

# Call:
# lm(formula = Sepal.Length ~ Sepal.Width + Species, data = iris)

# Coefficients:
#       (Intercept)        Sepal.Width  Speciesversicolor   Speciesvirginica
#            2.2514             0.8036             1.4587             1.9468

Now, if your data consists of only one species:

(model1 <- lm(Sepal.Length ~ Sepal.Width + Species,
              data=iris[iris$Species == "setosa", ]))
# Error in `contrasts<-`(`*tmp*`, value = contr.funs[1 + isOF[nn]]) :
# contrasts can be applied only to factors with 2 or more levels

If the variable is numeric (Sepal.Width) but taking only a single value say 3, then the model runs but you will get NA as coefficient of that variable as follows:

(model2 <-lm(Sepal.Length ~ Sepal.Width + Species,
             data=iris[iris$Sepal.Width == 3, ]))

# Call:
# lm(formula = Sepal.Length ~ Sepal.Width + Species,
#    data = iris[iris$Sepal.Width == 3, ])

# Coefficients:
#       (Intercept)        Sepal.Width  Speciesversicolor   Speciesvirginica
#             4.700                 NA              1.250              2.017

Solution: There is not enough variation in dependent variable with only one value. So, you need to drop that variable, irrespective of whether that is numeric or character or factor variable.

Updated as per comments: Since you know that the error will only occur with factor/character, you can focus only on those and see whether the length of levels of those factor variables is 1 (DROP) or greater than 1 (NODROP).

To see, whether the variable is a factor or not, use the following code:

(l <- sapply(iris, function(x) is.factor(x)))
# Sepal.Length  Sepal.Width Petal.Length  Petal.Width      Species
# FALSE FALSE FALSE FALSE TRUE

Then you can get the data frame of factor variables only

m <- iris[, l]

Now, find the number of levels of factor variables, if this is one you need to drop that

ifelse(n <- sapply(m, function(x) length(levels(x))) == 1, "DROP", "NODROP")

Note: If the levels of factor variable is only one then that is the variable, you have to drop.

Bound method error

This problem happens as a result of calling a method without brackets. Take a look at the example below:

class SomeClass(object):
    def __init__(self):
        print 'I am starting'

    def some_meth(self):
        print 'I am a method()'

x = SomeClass()
''' Not adding the bracket after the method call would result in method bound error '''
print x.some_meth
''' However this is how it should be called and it does solve it '''
x.some_meth()

How do I create a circle or square with just CSS - with a hollow center?

If you want your div to keep it's circular shape even if you change its width/height (using js for instance) set the radius to 50%. Example: css:

.circle {
    border-radius: 50%/50%;
    width: 50px;
    height: 50px;
    background: black;
}

html:

PHP runs on the server-side thus you have to use a client-side technology which is capable of showing popup windows: JavaScript.

So you should output a specific JS block via PHP if your form contains errors and you want to show that popup.

How to check postgres user and password?

You may change the pg_hba.conf and then reload the postgresql. something in the pg_hba.conf may be like below:

# "local" is for Unix domain socket connections only
local   all             all                                     trust

Spring jUnit Testing properties file

As for the testing, you should use from Spring 4.1 which will overwrite the properties defined in other places:

@TestPropertySource("classpath:application-test.properties")

Test property sources have higher precedence than those loaded from the operating system's environment or Java system properties as well as property sources added by the application like @PropertySource

Naming Conventions: What to name a boolean variable?

Personally more than anything I would change the logic, or look at the business rules to see if they dictate any potential naming.

Since, the actual condition that toggles the boolean is actually the act of being "last". I would say that switching the logic, and naming it "IsLastItem" or similar would be a more preferred method.

Running command line silently with VbScript and getting output?

I have taken this and various other comments and created a bit more advanced function for running an application and getting the output.

Example to Call Function: Will output the DIR list of C:\ for Directories only. The output will be returned to the variable CommandResults as well as remain in C:\OUTPUT.TXT.

CommandResults = vFn_Sys_Run_CommandOutput("CMD.EXE /C DIR C:\ /AD",1,1,"C:\OUTPUT.TXT",0,1)

Function

Function vFn_Sys_Run_CommandOutput (Command, Wait, Show, OutToFile, DeleteOutput, NoQuotes)

'Command = The command line instruction you wish to run.
'Wait = 1/0; 1 will wait for the command to finish before continuing.
'Show = 1/0; 1 will show for the command window.
'OutToFile = The file you wish to have the output recorded to.
'DeleteOutput = 1/0; 1 deletes the output file. Output is still returned to variable.

Which maven dependencies to include for spring 3.0?

What classes are missing? The class name itself should be a good clue to the missing module.

FYI, I know its really convenient to include the uber spring jar but this really causes issues when integrating with other projects. One of the benefits behind the dependency system is that it will resolve version conflicts among the dependencies.

If my library depends on spring-core:2.5 and you depend on my library and uber-spring:3.0, you now have 2 versions of spring on your classpath.

You can get around this with exclusions but its much easier to list the dependencies correctly and not have to worry about it.

How to add a JAR in NetBeans

Right click 'libraries' in the project list, then click add.

How to validate an e-mail address in swift?

There are a lot of right answers here, but many of the "regex" are incomplete and it can happen that an email like: "name@domain" results a valid email, but it is not. Here the complete solution:

extension String {

    var isEmailValid: Bool {
        do {
            let regex = try NSRegularExpression(pattern: "(?:[a-z0-9!#$%\\&'*+/=?\\^_`{|}~-]+(?:\\.[a-z0-9!#$%\\&'*+/=?\\^_`{|}~-]+)*|\"(?:[\\x01-\\x08\\x0b\\x0c\\x0e-\\x1f\\x21\\x23-\\x5b\\x5d-\\x7f]|\\\\[\\x01-\\x09\\x0b\\x0c\\x0e-\\x7f])*\")@(?:(?:[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?\\.)+[a-z0-9](?:[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9])?|\\[(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\\.){3}(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?|[a-z0-9-]*[a-z0-9]:(?:[\\x01-\\x08\\x0b\\x0c\\x0e-\\x1f\\x21-\\x5a\\x53-\\x7f]|\\\\[\\x01-\\x09\\x0b\\x0c\\x0e-\\x7f])+)\\])", options: .CaseInsensitive)
            return regex.firstMatchInString(self, options: NSMatchingOptions(rawValue: 0), range: NSMakeRange(0, self.characters.count)) != nil
        } catch {
            return false
        }

What is The difference between ListBox and ListView

A ListView is basically like a ListBox (and inherits from it), but it also has a View property. This property allows you to specify a predefined way of displaying the items. The only predefined view in the BCL (Base Class Library) is GridView, but you can easily create your own.

Another difference is the default selection mode: it's Single for a ListBox, but Extended for a ListView

Change the location of the ~ directory in a Windows install of Git Bash

I know this is an old question, but it is the top google result for "gitbash homedir windows" so figured I'd add my findings.

No matter what I tried I couldn't get git-bash to start in anywhere but my network drive,(U:) in my case making every operation take 15-20 seconds to respond. (Remote employee on VPN, network drive hosted on the other side of the country)

I tried setting HOME and HOMEDIR variables in windows.

I tried setting HOME and HOMEDIR variables in the git installation'setc/profile file.

I tried editing the "Start in" on the git-bash shortcut to be C:/user/myusername.

"env" command inside the git-bash shell would show correct c:/user/myusername. But git-bash would still start in U:

What ultimately fixed it for me was editing the git-bash shortcut and removing the "--cd-to-home" from the Target line.

I'm on Windows 10 running latest version of Git-for-windows 2.22.0.

Duplicate / Copy records in the same MySQL table

I needed this as well; my solution was to use SQLYOG (free version) to export the desired record as SQL (creates an insert).

I then hand edited this to remove the id as this needs to be auto-generated and then copied the insert into SQLYog to execute it. This was painless. I guess plenty of other MySQL GUIs can do this as well.

This provides me with a record I can use for test purposes on a live system.

I now have this insert for reuse as well, as the table is rewritten daily.

concatenate two strings

The best way in my eyes is to use the concat() method provided by the String class itself.

The useage would, in your case, look like this:

String myConcatedString = cursor.getString(numcol).concat('-').
       concat(cursor.getString(cursor.getColumnIndexOrThrow(db.KEY_DESTINATIE)));

Mysql 1050 Error "Table already exists" when in fact, it does not

I've just had the same error but I knew the table already existed and wanted to add to it. I'm adding my answer as this question comes up as no.1 for me on google when looking for the same error but for a slightly different scenario. Basically I needed to tick

"Add DROP TABLE / VIEW / PROCEDURE / FUNCTION / EVENT / TRIGGER statement"

And this solved the error for me.

How to read integer values from text file

How to declare a type as nullable in TypeScript?

Union type is in my mind best option in this case:

interface Employee{
   id: number;
   name: string;
   salary: number | null;
}

// Both cases are valid
let employe1: Employee = { id: 1, name: 'John', salary: 100 };
let employe2: Employee = { id: 1, name: 'John', salary: null };

EDIT : For this to work as expected, you should enable the strictNullChecks in tsconfig.

APT command line interface-like yes/no input?

As you mentioned, the easiest way is to use raw_input() (or simply input() for Python 3). There is no built-in way to do this. From Recipe 577058:

import sys

def query_yes_no(question, default="yes"):
    """Ask a yes/no question via raw_input() and return their answer.

    "question" is a string that is presented to the user.
    "default" is the presumed answer if the user just hits <Enter>.
        It must be "yes" (the default), "no" or None (meaning
        an answer is required of the user).

    The "answer" return value is True for "yes" or False for "no".
    """
    valid = {"yes": True, "y": True, "ye": True,
             "no": False, "n": False}
    if default is None:
        prompt = " [y/n] "
    elif default == "yes":
        prompt = " [Y/n] "
    elif default == "no":
        prompt = " [y/N] "
    else:
        raise ValueError("invalid default answer: '%s'" % default)

    while True:
        sys.stdout.write(question + prompt)
        choice = raw_input().lower()
        if default is not None and choice == '':
            return valid[default]
        elif choice in valid:
            return valid[choice]
        else:
            sys.stdout.write("Please respond with 'yes' or 'no' "
                             "(or 'y' or 'n').\n")

Usage example:

>>> query_yes_no("Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower?")
Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower? [Y/n] oops
Please respond with 'yes' or 'no' (or 'y' or 'n').
Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower? [Y/n] [ENTER]
>>> True

>>> query_yes_no("Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower?", None)
Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower? [y/n] [ENTER]
Please respond with 'yes' or 'no' (or 'y' or 'n').
Is cabbage yummier than cauliflower? [y/n] y
>>> True

Extract the last substring from a cell

This works, even when there are middle names:

=MID(A2,FIND(CHAR(1),SUBSTITUTE(A2," ",CHAR(1),LEN(A2)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A2," ",""))))+1,LEN(A2))

If you want everything BUT the last name, check out this answer.

If there are trailing spaces in your names, then you may want to remove them by replacing all instances of A2 by TRIM(A2) in the above formula.

Note that it is only by pure chance that your first formula =RIGHT(A2,FIND(" ",A2,1)-1) kind of works for Alistair Stevens. This is because "Alistair" and " Stevens" happen to contain the same number of characters (if you count the leading space in " Stevens").

How can I have same rule for two locations in NGINX config?

Both the regex and included files are good methods, and I frequently use those. But another alternative is to use a "named location", which is a useful approach in many situations — especially more complicated ones. The official "If is Evil" page shows essentially the following as a good way to do things:

error_page 418 = @common_location;
location /first/location/ {
    return 418;
}
location /second/location/ {
    return 418;
}
location @common_location {
    # The common configuration...
}

There are advantages and disadvantages to these various approaches. One big advantage to a regex is that you can capture parts of the match and use them to modify the response. Of course, you can usually achieve similar results with the other approaches by either setting a variable in the original block or using map. The downside of the regex approach is that it can get unwieldy if you want to match a variety of locations, plus the low precedence of a regex might just not fit with how you want to match locations — not to mention that there are apparently performance impacts from regexes in some cases.

The main advantage of including files (as far as I can tell) is that it is a little more flexible about exactly what you can include — it doesn't have to be a full location block, for example. But it's also just subjectively a bit clunkier than named locations.

Also note that there is a related solution that you may be able to use in similar situations: nested locations. The idea is that you would start with a very general location, apply some configuration common to several of the possible matches, and then have separate nested locations for the different types of paths that you want to match. For example, it might be useful to do something like this:

location /specialpages/ {
    # some config
    location /specialpages/static/ {
        try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
    }
    location /specialpages/dynamic/ {
        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1;
    }
}

Android BroadcastReceiver within Activity

You need to define the receiver as a class in the manifest and it will receive the intent:

<application
  ....
  <receiver android:name=".ToastReceiver">
    <intent-filter>
      <action android:name="com.unitedcoders.android.broadcasttest.SHOWTOAST"/>
    </intent-filter>
  </receiver>
</application>

And you don't need to create the class manually inside ToastDisplay.

In the code you provided, you must be inside ToastDisplay activity to actually receive the Intent.

Hibernate: Automatically creating/updating the db tables based on entity classes

I don't know if leaving hibernate off the front makes a difference.

The reference suggests it should be hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto

A value of create will create your tables at sessionFactory creation, and leave them intact.

A value of create-drop will create your tables, and then drop them when you close the sessionFactory.

Perhaps you should set the javax.persistence.Table annotation explicitly?

Hope this helps.

How do I rename a local Git branch?

Changing the branch locally is quite easy...

If you are on the branch you want to change the name for, simply do this:

git branch -m my_new_branch

Otherwise, if you are on master or any other branch other than the one you'd like to change the name, simply do:

git branch -m my_old_branch my_new_branch

Also, I create the image below to show this in action on a command line. In this case, you are on master branch, for example:

Angular.js programmatically setting a form field to dirty

Since AngularJS 1.3.4 you can use $setDirty() on fields (source). For example, for each field with error and marked required you can do the following:

angular.forEach($scope.form.$error.required, function(field) {
    field.$setDirty();
});

How to change navigation bar color in iOS 7 or 6?

If you want to have a solid color for your navigation bar in iOS 6 similar to iOS 7 use this:

[[UINavigationBar appearance] setBackgroundImage:[[UIImage alloc] init] forBarMetrics:UIBarMetricsDefault];
[[UINavigationBar appearance] setBackgroundColor:[UIColor greenColor]];

in iOS 7 use the barTintColor like this:

navigationController.navigationBar.barTintColor = [UIColor greenColor];

or

 [[UINavigationBar appearance] setBarTintColor:[UIColor greenColor]];

What is the symbol for whitespace in C?

make use of isspace function .

The C library function int isspace(int c) checks whether the passed character is white-space.

sample code:

    int main()
    {

       char var= ' ';

       if( isspace(var) )
       {
          printf("var1 = |%c| is a white-space character\n", var );
       }
/*instead you can easily compare character with ' '
  */
    }
Standard white-space characters are -

' '   (0x20)    space (SPC)
'\t'    (0x09)  horizontal tab (TAB)
'\n'    (0x0a)  newline (LF)
'\v'    (0x0b)  vertical tab (VT)
'\f'    (0x0c)  feed (FF)
'\r'    (0x0d)  carriage return (CR)

How to compare two dates to find time difference in SQL Server 2005, date manipulation

Hash Map in Python

It's built-in for Python. See dictionaries.

Based on your example:

streetno = {"1": "Sachine Tendulkar",
            "2": "Dravid",
            "3": "Sehwag",
            "4": "Laxman",
            "5": "Kohli" }

You could then access it like so:

sachine = streetno["1"]

Also worth mentioning: it can use any non-mutable data type as a key. That is, it can use a tuple, boolean, or string as a key.

Add my custom http header to Spring RestTemplate request / extend RestTemplate

You can pass custom http headers with RestTemplate exchange method as below.

HttpHeaders headers = new HttpHeaders();
headers.setAccept(Arrays.asList(new MediaType[] { MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON }));
headers.setContentType(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON);
headers.set("X-TP-DeviceID", "your value");

HttpEntity<RestRequest> entityReq = new HttpEntity<RestRequest>(request, headers);

RestTemplate template = new RestTemplate();

ResponseEntity<RestResponse> respEntity = template
    .exchange("RestSvcUrl", HttpMethod.POST, entityReq, RestResponse.class);

EDIT : Below is the updated code. This link has several ways of calling rest service with examples

RestTemplate restTemplate = new RestTemplate();

HttpHeaders headers = new HttpHeaders();
headers.setAccept(Arrays.asList(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON));
headers.setContentType(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON);
headers.set("X-TP-DeviceID", "your value");

HttpEntity<String> entity = new HttpEntity<String>("parameters", headers);

ResponseEntity<Mall[]> respEntity = restTemplate.exchange(url, HttpMethod.POST, entity, Mall[].class);

Mall[] resp = respEntity.getBody();

How does a Java HashMap handle different objects with the same hash code?

As it is said, a picture is worth 1000 words. I say: some code is better than 1000 words. Here's the source code of HashMap. Get method:

/**
     * Implements Map.get and related methods
     *
     * @param hash hash for key
     * @param key the key
     * @return the node, or null if none
     */
    final Node<K,V> getNode(int hash, Object key) {
        Node<K,V>[] tab; Node<K,V> first, e; int n; K k;
        if ((tab = table) != null && (n = tab.length) > 0 &&
            (first = tab[(n - 1) & hash]) != null) {
            if (first.hash == hash && // always check first node
                ((k = first.key) == key || (key != null && key.equals(k))))
                return first;
            if ((e = first.next) != null) {
                if (first instanceof TreeNode)
                    return ((TreeNode<K,V>)first).getTreeNode(hash, key);
                do {
                    if (e.hash == hash &&
                        ((k = e.key) == key || (key != null && key.equals(k))))
                        return e;
                } while ((e = e.next) != null);
            }
        }
        return null;
    }

So it becomes clear that hash is used to find the "bucket" and the first element is always checked in that bucket. If not, then equals of the key is used to find the actual element in the linked list.

Let's see the put() method:

  /**
     * Implements Map.put and related methods
     *
     * @param hash hash for key
     * @param key the key
     * @param value the value to put
     * @param onlyIfAbsent if true, don't change existing value
     * @param evict if false, the table is in creation mode.
     * @return previous value, or null if none
     */
    final V putVal(int hash, K key, V value, boolean onlyIfAbsent,
                   boolean evict) {
        Node<K,V>[] tab; Node<K,V> p; int n, i;
        if ((tab = table) == null || (n = tab.length) == 0)
            n = (tab = resize()).length;
        if ((p = tab[i = (n - 1) & hash]) == null)
            tab[i] = newNode(hash, key, value, null);
        else {
            Node<K,V> e; K k;
            if (p.hash == hash &&
                ((k = p.key) == key || (key != null && key.equals(k))))
                e = p;
            else if (p instanceof TreeNode)
                e = ((TreeNode<K,V>)p).putTreeVal(this, tab, hash, key, value);
            else {
                for (int binCount = 0; ; ++binCount) {
                    if ((e = p.next) == null) {
                        p.next = newNode(hash, key, value, null);
                        if (binCount >= TREEIFY_THRESHOLD - 1) // -1 for 1st
                            treeifyBin(tab, hash);
                        break;
                    }
                    if (e.hash == hash &&
                        ((k = e.key) == key || (key != null && key.equals(k))))
                        break;
                    p = e;
                }
            }
            if (e != null) { // existing mapping for key
                V oldValue = e.value;
                if (!onlyIfAbsent || oldValue == null)
                    e.value = value;
                afterNodeAccess(e);
                return oldValue;
            }
        }
        ++modCount;
        if (++size > threshold)
            resize();
        afterNodeInsertion(evict);
        return null;
    }

It's slightly more complicated, but it becomes clear that the new element is put in the tab at the position calculated based on hash:

i = (n - 1) & hash here i is the index where the new element will be put (or it is the "bucket"). n is the size of the tab array (array of "buckets").

First, it is tried to be put as the first element of in that "bucket". If there is already an element, then append a new node to the list.

MySQL Workbench Edit Table Data is read only

If your query has any JOINs, Mysql Workbench will not allow you to alter the table, even if your results are all from a single table.

For example, the following query

SELECT u.* FROM users u JOIN passwords p ON u.id=p.user_id WHERE p.password IS NULL;

will not allow you to edit the results or add rows, even though the results are limited to one table. You must specifically do something like:

SELECT * FROM users WHERE id=1012;

and then you can edit the row and add rows to the table.

How do I make a branch point at a specific commit?

git branch -f <branchname> <commit>

I go with Mark Longair's solution and comments and recommend anyone reads those before acting, but I'd suggest the emphasis should be on

git branch -f <branchname> <commit>

Here is a scenario where I have needed to do this.

Scenario

Develop on the wrong branch and hence need to reset it.

Start Okay

Cleanly develop and release some software.

So far so good

Develop on wrong branch

Mistake: Accidentally stay on the release branch while developing further.

After a mistake

Realize the mistake

"OH NO! I accidentally developed on the release branch." The workspace is maybe cluttered with half changed files that represent work-in-progress and we really don't want to touch and mess with. We'd just like git to flip a few pointers to keep track of the current state and put that release branch back how it should be.

Create a branch for the development that is up to date holding the work committed so far and switch to it.

git branch development
git checkout development

Changed to another branch

Correct the branch

Now we are in the problem situation and need its solution! Rectify the mistake (of taking the release branch forward with the development) and put the release branch back how it should be.

Correct the release branch to point back to the last real release.

git branch -f release release2

The release branch is now correct again, like this ...

Corrected

What if I pushed the mistake to a remote?

git push -f <remote> <branch> is well described in another thread, though the word "overwrite" in the title is misleading. Force "git push" to overwrite remote files

How to link an input button to a file select window?

You could use JavaScript and trigger the hidden file input when the button input has been clicked.

http://jsfiddle.net/gregorypratt/dhyzV/ - simple

http://jsfiddle.net/gregorypratt/dhyzV/1/ - fancier with a little JQuery

Or, you could style a div directly over the file input and set pointer-events in CSS to none to allow the click events to pass through to the file input that is "behind" the fancy div. This only works in certain browsers though; http://caniuse.com/pointer-events

Node.js/Express routing with get params

For Query parameters like domain.com/test?format=json&type=mini format, then you can easily receive it via - req.query.

app.get('/test', function(req, res){
  var format = req.query.format,
      type = req.query.type;
});

taking input of a string word by word

Put the line in a stringstream and extract word by word back:

#include <iostream>
#include <sstream>
using namespace std;

int main()
{
    string t;
    getline(cin,t);

    istringstream iss(t);
    string word;
    while(iss >> word) {
        /* do stuff with word */
    }
}

Of course, you can just skip the getline part and read word by word from cin directly.

And here you can read why is using namespace std considered bad practice.

Getting View's coordinates relative to the root layout

You can use the following the get the difference between parent and the view you interested in:

private int getRelativeTop(View view) {
    final View parent = (View) view.getParent();
    int[] parentLocation = new int[2];
    int[] viewLocation = new int[2];

    view.getLocationOnScreen(viewLocation);
    parent.getLocationOnScreen(parentLocation);

    return viewLocation[1] - parentLocation[1];
}

Dont forget to call it after the view is drawn:

 timeIndicator.getViewTreeObserver().addOnGlobalLayoutListener(() -> {
        final int relativeTop = getRelativeTop(timeIndicator);
    });

For the people who were seeking deep info in my answer, sorry.

I'll explain it.

Beautifulsoup is a widely use python package that helps the user (developer) to interact with HTML within python.

The above like just take all the HTML text (text) and cast it to Beautifulsoup object - that means behind the sense its parses everything up (Every HTML tag within the given text)

Once done so, we just request all the text from within the HTML object.

case statement in where clause - SQL Server

A CASE statement is an expression, just like a boolean comparison. That means the 'AND' needs to go before the 'CASE' statement, not within it.:

Select * From Times
WHERE (StartDate <= @Date) AND (EndDate >= @Date)

AND -- Added the "AND" here

CASE WHEN @day = 'Monday' THEN (Monday = 1)   -- Removed "AND"
    WHEN @day = 'Tuesday' THEN (Tuesday = 1)  -- Removed "AND"
    ELSE AND (Wednesday = 1)
END

Resync git repo with new .gitignore file

I know this is an old question, but gracchus's solution doesn't work if file names contain spaces. VonC's solution to file names with spaces is to not remove them utilizing --ignore-unmatch, then remove them manually, but this will not work well if there are a lot.

Here is a solution that utilizes bash arrays to capture all files.

# Build bash array of the file names
while read -r file; do
    rmlist+=( "$file" )
done < <(git ls-files -i --exclude-standard)

git rm –-cached "${rmlist[@]}"

git commit -m 'ignore update'

SQL JOIN - WHERE clause vs. ON clause

Are you trying to join data or filter data?

For readability it makes the most sense to isolate these use cases to ON and WHERE respectively.

  • join data in ON
  • filter data in WHERE

It can become very difficult to read a query where the JOIN condition and a filtering condition exist in the WHERE clause.

Performance wise you should not see a difference, though different types of SQL sometimes handle query planning differently so it can be worth trying ¯\_(?)_/¯ (Do be aware of caching effecting the query speed)

Also as others have noted, if you use an outer join you will get different results if you place the filter condition in the ON clause because it only effects one of the tables.

I wrote a more in depth post about this here: https://dataschool.com/learn/difference-between-where-and-on-in-sql

HttpClient.GetAsync(...) never returns when using await/async

Since you are using .Result or .Wait or await this will end up causing a deadlock in your code.

you can use ConfigureAwait(false) in async methods for preventing deadlock

like this:

var result = await httpClient.GetAsync("http://stackoverflow.com", HttpCompletionOption.ResponseHeadersRead)
                             .ConfigureAwait(false);

you can use ConfigureAwait(false) wherever possible for Don't Block Async Code .

ExecutorService, how to wait for all tasks to finish

The simplest approach is to use ExecutorService.invokeAll() which does what you want in a one-liner. In your parlance, you'll need to modify or wrap ComputeDTask to implement Callable<>, which can give you quite a bit more flexibility. Probably in your app there is a meaningful implementation of Callable.call(), but here's a way to wrap it if not using Executors.callable().

ExecutorService es = Executors.newFixedThreadPool(2);
List<Callable<Object>> todo = new ArrayList<Callable<Object>>(singleTable.size());

for (DataTable singleTable: uniquePhrases) {
    todo.add(Executors.callable(new ComputeDTask(singleTable)));
}

List<Future<Object>> answers = es.invokeAll(todo);

As others have pointed out, you could use the timeout version of invokeAll() if appropriate. In this example, answers is going to contain a bunch of Futures which will return nulls (see definition of Executors.callable(). Probably what you want to do is a slight refactoring so you can get a useful answer back, or a reference to the underlying ComputeDTask, but I can't tell from your example.

If it isn't clear, note that invokeAll() will not return until all the tasks are completed. (i.e., all the Futures in your answers collection will report .isDone() if asked.) This avoids all the manual shutdown, awaitTermination, etc... and allows you to reuse this ExecutorService neatly for multiple cycles, if desired.

There are a few related questions on SO:

None of these are strictly on-point for your question, but they do provide a bit of color about how folks think Executor/ExecutorService ought to be used.

How do I get the parent directory in Python?

The answers given above are all perfectly fine for going up one or two directory levels, but they may get a bit cumbersome if one needs to traverse the directory tree by many levels (say, 5 or 10). This can be done concisely by joining a list of N os.pardirs in os.path.join. Example:

import os
# Create list of ".." times 5
upup = [os.pardir]*5
# Extract list as arguments of join()
go_upup = os.path.join(*upup)
# Get abspath for current file
up_dir = os.path.abspath(os.path.join(__file__, go_upup))

    if value < self[midpoint_index]
      b_search(value, lower_index, upper_index - 1)

How (and why) to use display: table-cell (CSS)

The display:table family of CSS properties is mostly there so that HTML tables can be defined in terms of them. Because they're so intimately linked to a specific tag structure, they don't see much use beyond that.

If you were going to use these properties in your page, you would need a tag structure that closely mimicked that of tables, even though you weren't actually using the <table> family of tags. A minimal version would be a single container element (display:table), with direct children that can all be represented as rows (display:table-row), which themselves have direct children that can all be represented as cells (display:table-cell). There are other properties that let you mimic other tags in the table family, but they require analogous structures in the HTML. Without this, it's going to be very hard (if not impossible) to make good use of these properties.

How does a hash table work?

This is how it works in my understanding:

Here's an example: picture the entire table as a series of buckets. Suppose you have an implementation with alpha-numeric hash-codes and have one bucket for each letter of the alphabet. This implementation puts each item whose hash code begins with a particular letter in the corresponding bucket.

Let's say you have 200 objects, but only 15 of them have hash codes that begin with the letter 'B.' The hash table would only need to look up and search through the 15 objects in the 'B' bucket, rather than all 200 objects.

As far as calculating the hash code, there is nothing magical about it. The goal is just to have different objects return different codes and for equal objects to return equal codes. You could write a class that always returns the same integer as a hash-code for all instances, but you would essentially destroy the usefulness of a hash-table, as it would just become one giant bucket.

Get width/height of SVG element

SVG has properties width and height. They return an object SVGAnimatedLength with two properties: animVal and baseVal. This interface is used for animation, where baseVal is the value before animation. From what I can see, this method returns consistent values in both Chrome and Firefox, so I think it can also be used to get calculated size of SVG.

I got this same error working in Eclipse with Maven with the additional information

schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'https://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not <xsd:schema>.

This was after copying in a new controller and it's interface from a Thymeleaf example. Honestly, no matter how careful I am I still am at a loss to understand how one is expected to figure this out. On a (lucky) guess I right clicked the project, clicked Maven and Update Project which cleared up the issue.

How do I change the figure size for a seaborn plot?

first import matplotlib and use it to set the size of the figure

from matplotlib import pyplot as plt
import seaborn as sns

plt.figure(figsize=(15,8))
ax = sns.barplot(x="Word", y="Frequency", data=boxdata)

Error CS1705: "which has a higher version than referenced assembly"

I had same error. I fixed the error after installing Microsoft.AspNetCore.ALL into test project.

How is the java memory pool divided?

The Heap is divided into young and old generations as follows :

Young Generation: It is a place where an object lived for a short period and it is divided into two spaces:

  • Eden Space: When object created using new keyword memory allocated on this space.
  • Survivor Space (S0 and S1): This is the pool which contains objects which have survived after minor java garbage collection from Eden space.

Old Generation: This pool basically contains tenured and virtual (reserved) space and will be holding those objects which survived after garbage collection from the Young Generation.

  • Tenured Space: This memory pool contains objects which survived after multiple garbage collection means an object which survived after garbage collection from Survivor space.

enter image description here

Explanation

Let's imagine our application has just started.

So at this point all three of these spaces are empty (Eden, S0, S1).

Whenever a new object is created it is placed in the Eden space.

When the Eden space gets full then the garbage collection process (minor GC) will take place on the Eden space and any surviving objects are moved into S0.

Our application then continues running add new objects are created in the Eden space the next time that the garbage collection process runs it looks at everything in the Eden space and in S0 and any objects that survive get moved into S1.

PS: Based on the configuration that how much time object should survive in Survivor space, the object may also move back and forth to S0 and S1 and then reaching the threshold objects will be moved to old generation heap space.

How to select rows where column value IS NOT NULL using CodeIgniter's ActiveRecord?

Codeigniter generates an "IS NULL" query by just leaving the call with no parameters:

$this->db->where('column');

The generated query is:

WHERE `column` IS NULL

Static class initializer in PHP

There is a way to call the init() method once and forbid it's usage, you can turn the function into private initializer and ivoke it after class declaration like this:

class Example {
    private static function init() {
        // do whatever needed for class initialization
    }
}
(static function () {
    static::init();
})->bindTo(null, Example::class)();

What is the C++ function to raise a number to a power?

pow() in the cmath library. More info here. Don't forget to put #include<cmath> at the top of the file.

Declaring a python function with an array parameters and passing an array argument to the function call?

Maybe you want unpack elements of array, I don't know if I got it, but below a example:

def my_func(*args):
    for a in args:
        print a

my_func(*[1,2,3,4])
my_list = ['a','b','c']
my_func(*my_list)

Oracle Partition - Error ORA14400 - inserted partition key does not map to any partition

For this issue need to add the partition for date column values, If last partition 20201231245959, then inserting the 20210110245959 values, this issue will occurs.

For that need to add the 2021 partition into that table

ALTER TABLE TABLE_NAME ADD PARTITION PARTITION_NAME VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE('2021-12-31 24:59:59', 'SYYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS', 'NLS_CALENDAR=GREGORIAN')) NOCOMPRESS

Creating an instance of class

Lines 1,2,3,4 will call the default constructor. They are different in the essence as 1,2 are dynamically created object and 3,4 are statically created objects.

In Line 7, you create an object inside the argument call. So its an error.

And Lines 5 and 6 are invitation for memory leak.

Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute

I had the same issue, and it was solved when I used a for loop instead of foreach.

// foreach (var item in itemsToBeLast)
for (int i = 0; i < itemsToBeLast.Count; i++)
{
    var matchingItem = itemsToBeLast.FirstOrDefault(item => item.Detach);

   if (matchingItem != null)
   {
      itemsToBeLast.Remove(matchingItem);
      continue;
   }
   allItems.Add(itemsToBeLast[i]);// (attachDetachItem);
}

Sending POST data in Android

You can use the following to send an HTTP-POST request to a URL and receive the response. I always use this:

try {
    AsyncHttpClient client = new AsyncHttpClient();
    // Http Request Params Object
    RequestParams params = new RequestParams();
    String u = "B2mGaME";
    String au = "gamewrapperB2M";
    // String mob = "880xxxxxxxxxx";
    params.put("usr", u.toString());
    params.put("aut", au.toString());
    params.put("uph", MobileNo.toString());
    //  params.put("uph", mob.toString());
    client.post("http://196.6.13.01:88/ws/game_wrapper_reg_check.php", params, new AsyncHttpResponseHandler() {
        @Override
        public void onSuccess(String response) {
            playStatus = response;
            //////Get your Response/////
            Log.i(getClass().getSimpleName(), "Response SP Status. " + playStatus);
        }
        @Override
        public void onFailure(Throwable throwable) {
            super.onFailure(throwable);
        }
    });
} catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
}

You Also need to Add bellow Jar file in libs folder

android-async-http-1.3.1.jar

Finally, I have edit your build.gradle:

dependencies {
    compile files('libs/<android-async-http-1.3.1.jar>')
}

In the last Rebuild your project.

How can I have a newline in a string in sh?

The problem isn't with the shell. The problem is actually with the echo command itself, and the lack of double quotes around the variable interpolation. You can try using echo -e but that isn't supported on all platforms, and one of the reasons printf is now recommended for portability.

You can also try and insert the newline directly into your shell script (if a script is what you're writing) so it looks like...

#!/bin/sh
echo "Hello
World"
#EOF

or equivalently

#!/bin/sh
string="Hello
World"
echo "$string" # note double quotes!

SQL Server Express 2008 Install Side-by-side w/ SQL 2005 Express Fails

Just Remove the the Workstation Components from Add/Remove Programs - SQL Server 2005. Removing Workstation Components, SQL Server 2008 installation goes well.

No mapping found for HTTP request with URI Spring MVC

I have the same problem.... I change my project name and i have this problem...my solution was the checking project refences and use / in my web.xml (instead of /*)

Android selector & text color

Here's my implementation, which behaves exactly as item in list (at least on 2.3)

res/layout/list_video_footer.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:layout_width="fill_parent"
    android:layout_height="fill_parent" >

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/list_video_footer"
        android:layout_width="fill_parent"
        android:layout_height="fill_parent"
        android:background="@android:drawable/list_selector_background"
        android:clickable="true"
        android:gravity="center"
        android:minHeight="98px"
        android:text="@string/more"
        android:textColor="@color/bright_text_dark_focused"
        android:textSize="18dp"
        android:textStyle="bold" />

</FrameLayout>

res/color/bright_text_dark_focused.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

    <item android:state_selected="true" android:color="#444"/>
    <item android:state_focused="true" android:color="#444"/>
    <item android:state_pressed="true" android:color="#444"/>
    <item android:color="#ccc"/>

</selector>

What is the best way to implement constants in Java?

For Constants, Enum is a better choice IMHO. Here is an example

public class myClass {

public enum myEnum {
    Option1("String1", 2),
    Option2("String2", 2)
    ;
    String str;
            int i;

            myEnum(String str1, int i1) { this.str = str1 ; this.i1 = i }

}

Logical operators ("and", "or") in DOS batch

De Morgan's laws allow us to convert disjunctions ("OR") into logical equivalents using only conjunctions ("AND") and negations ("NOT"). This means we can chain disjunctions ("OR") on to one line.

This means if name is "Yakko" or "Wakko" or "Dot", then echo "Warner brother or sister".

set warner=true
if not "%name%"=="Yakko" if not "%name%"=="Wakko" if not "%name%"=="Dot" set warner=false
if "%warner%"=="true" echo Warner brother or sister

This is another version of paxdiablo's "OR" example, but the conditions are chained on to one line. (Note that the opposite of leq is gtr, and the opposite of geq is lss.)

set res=true
if %hour% gtr 6 if %hour% lss 22 set res=false
if "%res%"=="true" set state=asleep

How to generate a unique hash code for string input in android...?

I use this i tested it as key from my EhCacheManager Memory map ....

Its cleaner i suppose

   /**
     * Return Hash256 of String value
     *
     * @param text
     * @return
     */
    public static String getHash256(String text) {
        try {
            return org.apache.commons.codec.digest.DigestUtils.sha256Hex(text);
        } catch (Exception ex) {
            Logger.getLogger(HashUtil.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
            return "";
        }
    }

am using maven but this is the jar commons-codec-1.9.jar

Getting text from td cells with jQuery

I would give your tds a specific class, e.g. data-cell, and then use something like this:

$("td.data-cell").each(function () {
    // 'this' is now the raw td DOM element
    var txt = $(this).html();
});

How to activate a specific worksheet in Excel?

Would the following Macro help you?

Sub activateSheet(sheetname As String)
'activates sheet of specific name
    Worksheets(sheetname).Activate
End Sub

Basically you want to make use of the .Activate function. Or you can use the .Select function like so:

Sub activateSheet(sheetname As String)
'selects sheet of specific name
    Sheets(sheetname).Select
End Sub

Forward declaration of a typedef in C++

I replaced the typedef (using to be specific) with inheritance and constructor inheritance (?).

Original

using CallStack = std::array<StackFrame, MAX_CALLSTACK_DEPTH>;

Replaced

struct CallStack // Not a typedef to allow forward declaration.
  : public std::array<StackFrame, MAX_CALLSTACK_DEPTH>
{
  typedef std::array<StackFrame, MAX_CALLSTACK_DEPTH> Base;
  using Base::Base;
};

This way I was able to forward declare CallStack with:

class CallStack;

Append to the end of a file in C

Following the documentation of fopen:

``a'' Open for writing. The file is created if it does not exist. The stream is positioned at the end of the file. Subsequent writes to the file will always end up at the then cur- rent end of file, irrespective of any intervening fseek(3) or similar.

So if you pFile2=fopen("myfile2.txt", "a"); the stream is positioned at the end to append automatically. just do:

FILE *pFile;
FILE *pFile2;
char buffer[256];

pFile=fopen("myfile.txt", "r");
pFile2=fopen("myfile2.txt", "a");
if(pFile==NULL) {
    perror("Error opening file.");
}
else {
    while(fgets(buffer, sizeof(buffer), pFile)) {
        fprintf(pFile2, "%s", buffer);
    }
}
fclose(pFile);
fclose(pFile2);

MySQL/SQL: Group by date only on a Datetime column

SELECT SUM(No), HOUR(dateofissue)

GROUP BY HOUR(dateofissue)

It will give the hour by sum from a particular day!

VBA test if cell is in a range

End If

MySQL Workbench Dark Theme

MySQL Workbench 8.0 Update

Based on Gunther's answer, it seems like in code_editor.xml they're planning to enable a dark mode at some point down the road. What was once fore-color has now been split into fore-color-light and fore-color-dark. Likewise with back-color.

Here's how to get a dark editor (not whole application theme) based on the Monokai colours provided graciously by elMestre:

How can I get the IP address from NIC in Python?

try below code, it works for me in Mac10.10.2:

import subprocess

AngularJS: factory $http.get JSON file

I wanted to note that the fourth part of Accepted Answer is wrong .

theApp.factory('mainInfo', function($http) {

var obj = {content:null};

$http.get('content.json').success(function(data) {
    // you can do some processing here
    obj.content = data;
});

return obj;
});

The above code as @Karl Zilles wrote will fail because obj will always be returned before it receives data (thus the value will always be null) and this is because we are making an Asynchronous call.

The details of similar questions are discussed in this post

In Angular, use $promise to deal with the fetched data when you want to make an asynchronous call.

The simplest version is

theApp.factory('mainInfo', function($http) {
    return {
        get:  function(){
            $http.get('content.json'); // this will return a promise to controller
        }
});

// and in controller

mainInfo.get().then(function(response) {
    $scope.foo = response.data.contentItem;
});

The reason I don't use success and error is I just found out from the doc, these two methods are deprecated.

The $http legacy promise methods success and error have been deprecated. Use the standard then method instead.

Targeting only Firefox with CSS

Using -engine specific rules ensures effective browser targeting.

</style>

//Internet Explorer

Starting Docker as Daemon on Ubuntu

I know this questions has been answered, however the reason this is happening to you, was probably because you did not add your username to the docker group.

Here are the steps to do it:

Add the docker group if it doesn't already exist:

sudo groupadd docker

Add the connected user ${USER} to the docker group. Change the user name to match your preferred user:

sudo gpasswd -a ${USER} docker

Restart the Docker daemon:

sudo service docker restart

If you are on Ubuntu 14.04-15.10* use docker.io instead:

sudo service docker.io restart

(If you are on Ubuntu 16.04 the service is named "docker" simply)

Either do a newgrp docker or log out/in to activate the changes to groups.

How to stick text to the bottom of the page?

An old thread, but...Answer of Konerak works, but why would you even set size of a container by default. What I prefer is to use code wherever no matter of hog big page size is. So this my code:

<style>
   #container {
    position: relative;
    height: 100%;
 }
 #footer {
    position: absolute;
    bottom: 0;
 }
</style>

</HEAD>

<BODY>

 <div id="container">

    <h1>Some heading</h1>

<p>Some text you have</p>

<br>
<br>

<div id="footer"><p>Rights reserved</p></div>

</div>

</BODY>
</HTML>

The trick is in <br> where you break new line. So, when page is small you'll see footer at bottom of page, as you want.

BUT, when a page is big SO THAT YOU MUST SCROLL IT DOWN, then your footer is going to be 2 new lines under the whole content above. And If you will then make page bigger, your footer is allways going to go DOWN. I hope somebody will find this useful.

How to remove leading and trailing spaces from a string

text.Trim() is to be used

string txt = "                   i am a string                                    ";
txt = txt.Trim();

Appending to an object

Try this:

alerts.splice(0,0,{"app":"goodbyeworld","message":"cya"});

Works pretty well, it'll add it to the start of the array.

Hive load CSV with commas in quoted fields

The problem is that Hive doesn't handle quoted texts. You either need to pre-process the data by changing the delimiter between the fields (e.g: with a Hadoop-streaming job) or you can also give a try to use a custom CSV SerDe which uses OpenCSV to parse the files.

How to automatically redirect HTTP to HTTPS on Apache servers?

I have actually followed this example and it worked for me :)

NameVirtualHost *:80
<VirtualHost *:80>
   ServerName mysite.example.com
   Redirect permanent / https://mysite.example.com/
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost _default_:443>
   ServerName mysite.example.com
  DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache2/htdocs
  SSLEngine On
 # etc...
</VirtualHost>

Then do:

/etc/init.d/httpd restart

How to use cURL to send Cookies?

You are using a wrong format in your cookie file. As curl documentation states, it uses an old Netscape cookie file format, which is different from the format used by web browsers. If you need to create a curl cookie file manually, this post should help you. In your example the file should contain following line

127.0.0.1   FALSE   /   FALSE   0   USER_TOKEN  in

having 7 TAB-separated fields meaning domain, tailmatch, path, secure, expires, name, value.

javascript create empty array of a given size

As of ES5 (when this answer was given):

If you want an empty array of undefined elements, you could simply do

var whatever = new Array(5);

this would give you

[undefined, undefined, undefined, undefined, undefined]

and then if you wanted it to be filled with empty strings, you could do

whatever.fill('');

which would give you

["", "", "", "", ""]

And if you want to do it in one line:

var whatever = Array(5).fill('');

Is it better to use C void arguments "void foo(void)" or not "void foo()"?

In C++, there is no difference in main() and main(void).

But in C, main() will be called with any number of parameters.

Example:

main ( ){
    main(10,"abc",12.28);
    //Works fine !
    //It won't give the error. The code will compile successfully.
    //(May cause Segmentation fault when run)
}

main(void) will be called without any parameters. If we try to pass then this end up leading to a compiler error.

Example:

main (void) {
     main(10,"abc",12.13);
     //This throws "error: too many arguments to function ‘main’ "
}

How to change the color of a button?

What is time(NULL) in C?

You can pass in a pointer to a time_t object that time will fill up with the current time (and the return value is the same one that you pointed to). If you pass in NULL, it just ignores it and merely returns a new time_t object that represents the current time.

Nb:time(&timer); is equivalent to timer = time(NULL);

Arrays with different datatypes i.e. strings and integers. (Objectorientend)

Notice the repetition of Book in Booknumber (int), Booktitle (string), Booklanguage (string), Bookprice (int)- it screams for a class type.

class Book {
  int number;
  String title;
  String language;
  int price;
}

Now you can simply have:

Book[] books = new Books[3];

If you want arrays, you can declare it as object array an insert Integer and String into it:

Object books[3][4]

Declare and Initialize String Array in VBA

Try this:

Dim myarray As Variant
myarray = Array("Cat", "Dog", "Rabbit")

onclick="doSomething();doSomethingElse();"

But really, you're better off not using onclick at all and attaching the event handler to the DOM node through your Javascript code. This is known as unobtrusive javascript.

Angular 2 Sibling Component Communication

I also like to do the communication between 2 siblings via a parent component via input and output. it handles OnPush change notification better than using a common service. Or just use NgRx Store.

Example.

@Component({
    selector: 'parent',
    template: `<div><notes-grid
            [Notes]="(NotesList$ | async)"
            (selectedNote)="ReceiveSelectedNote($event)"
        </notes-grid>
        <note-edit
            [gridSelectedNote]="(SelectedNote$ | async)"
        </note-edit></div>`,
    styleUrls: ['./parent.component.scss']
})
export class ParentComponent {

    // create empty observable
    NotesList$: Observable<Note[]> = of<Note[]>([]);
    SelectedNote$: Observable<Note> = of<Note>();

    //passed from note-grid for selected note to edit.
    ReceiveSelectedNote(selectedNote: Note) {
    if (selectedNote !== null) {
        // change value direct subscribers or async pipe subscribers will get new value.
        this.SelectedNote$ = of<Note>(selectedNote);
    }
    }
    //used in subscribe next() to http call response. Left out all that code for brevity. This just shows how observable is populated.
    onNextData(n: Note[]): void {
    // Assign to Obeservable direct subscribers or async pipe subscribers will get new value.
    this.NotesList$ = of<Note[]>(n.NoteList);  //json from server
    }
}

//child 1 sibling
@Component({
  selector: 'note-edit',
  templateUrl: './note-edit.component.html', // just a textarea for noteText and submit and cancel buttons.
  styleUrls: ['./note-edit.component.scss'],
  changeDetection: ChangeDetectionStrategy.OnPush
})
export class NoteEditComponent implements OnChanges {
  @Input() gridSelectedNote: Note;

    constructor() {
    }

// used to capture @Input changes for new gridSelectedNote input

     if (changes.gridSelectedNote && changes.gridSelectedNote.currentValue !== null) {
      this.noteText = changes.gridSelectedNote.currentValue.noteText;
      this.noteCreateDtm = changes.gridSelectedNote.currentValue.noteCreateDtm;
      this.noteAuthorName = changes.gridSelectedNote.currentValue.noteAuthorName;
      }
  }

}

//child 2 sibling

@Component({
    selector: 'notes-grid',
    templateUrl: './notes-grid.component.html', //just an html table with notetext, author, date

Format date in a specific timezone

Use moment-timezone

moment(date).tz('Europe/Berlin').format(format)

Before being able to access a particular timezone, you will need to load it like so (or using alternative methods described here)

moment.tz.add('Europe/Berlin|CET CEST CEMT|-10 -20 -30')

Running AngularJS initialization code when view is loaded

When your view loads, so does its associated controller. Instead of using ng-init, simply call your init() method in your controller:

$scope.init = function () {
    if ($routeParams.Id) {
        //get an existing object
    } else {
        //create a new object
    }
    $scope.isSaving = false;
}
...
$scope.init();

Since your controller runs before ng-init, this also solves your second issue.

Fiddle

As John David Five mentioned, you might not want to attach this to $scope in order to make this method private.

var init = function () {
    // do something
}
...
init();

See jsFiddle

If you want to wait for certain data to be preset, either move that data request to a resolve or add a watcher to that collection or object and call your init method when your data meets your init criteria. I usually remove the watcher once my data requirements are met so the init function doesnt randomly re-run if the data your watching changes and meets your criteria to run your init method.

var init = function () {
    // do something
}
...
var unwatch = scope.$watch('myCollecitonOrObject', function(newVal, oldVal){
                    if( newVal && newVal.length > 0) {
                        unwatch();
                        init();
                    }
                });

HTTP Content-Type Header and JSON

Recently ran into a problem with this and a Chrome extension that was corrupting a JSON stream when the response header labeled the content-type as 'text/html' apparently extensions can and will use the response header to alter the content prior to further processing by the browser. Changing the content-type fixed the issue.

async await return Task

In order to get proper responses back from async methods, you need to put await while calling those task methods. That will wait for converting it back to the returned value type rather task type.

E.g var content = await StringAsyncTask (

where public async Task<String> StringAsyncTask ())

Declare and initialize a Dictionary in Typescript

Edit: This has since been fixed in the latest TS versions. Quoting @Simon_Weaver's comment on the OP's post:

Note: this has since been fixed (not sure which exact TS version). I get these errors in VS, as you would expect: Index signatures are incompatible. Type '{ firstName: string; }' is not assignable to type 'IPerson'. Property 'lastName' is missing in type '{ firstName: string; }'.

Apparently this doesn't work when passing the initial data at declaration. I guess this is a bug in TypeScript, so you should raise one at the project site.

You can make use of the typed dictionary by splitting your example up in declaration and initialization, like:

var persons: { [id: string] : IPerson; } = {};
persons["p1"] = { firstName: "F1", lastName: "L1" };
persons["p2"] = { firstName: "F2" }; // will result in an error

How to get calendar Quarter from a date in TSQL

Gridview get Checkbox.Checked value

You want an independent for loop for all the rows in grid view, then refer the below link

http://nikhilsreeni.wordpress.com/asp-net/checkbox/

Select all checkbox in Gridview

CheckBox cb = default(CheckBox);
for (int i = 0; i <= grdforumcomments.Rows.Count – 1; i++)
{
    cb = (CheckBox)grdforumcomments.Rows[i].Cells[0].FindControl(“cbSel”);

    cb.Checked = ((CheckBox)sender).Checked;
}

Select checked rows to a dataset; For gridview multiple edit

CheckBox cb = default(CheckBox);

foreach (GridViewRow row in grdforumcomments.Rows)
{
    cb = (CheckBox)row.FindControl("cbsel");
    if (cb.Checked)
    {
        drArticleCommentsUpdates = dtArticleCommentsUpdates.NewRow();
        drArticleCommentsUpdates["Id"] = dgItem.Cells[0].Text;
        drArticleCommentsUpdates["Date"] = System.DateTime.Now;dtArticleCommentsUpdates.Rows.Add(drArticleCommentsUpdates);
    }
}

How to convert HTML file to word?

How to prevent a browser from storing passwords

By default, there is not any proper answer to disable saving a password in your browser. But luckily there is a way around and it works in almost all the browsers.

To achieve this, add a dummy input just before the actual input with autocomplete="off" and some custom styling to hide it and providing tabIndex.

Some browsers' (Chrome) autocomplete will fill in the first password input it finds, and the input before that, so with this trick it will only fill in an invisible input that doesn't matter.

          <div className="password-input">
            <input
              type="password"
              id="prevent_autofill"
              autoComplete="off"
              style={{
                opacity: '0',
                position: 'absolute',
                height: '0',
                width: '0',
                padding: '0',
                margin: '0'
              }}
              tabIndex="-2"
            />
            <input
              type="password"
              autoComplete="off"
              className="password-input-box"
              placeholder="Password"
              onChange={e => this.handleChange(e, 'password')}
            />
          </div>

Easy way to print Perl array? (with a little formatting)

Using Data::Dumper :

use strict;
use Data::Dumper;

my $GRANTstr = 'SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, LOCK TABLES, EXECUTE, TRIGGER';
$GRANTstr    =~ s/, /,/g;
my @GRANTs   = split /,/ , $GRANTstr;

print Dumper(@GRANTs) . "===\n\n";

print Dumper(\@GRANTs) . "===\n\n";

print Data::Dumper->Dump([\@GRANTs], [qw(GRANTs)]);

Generates three different output styles:

$VAR1 = 'SELECT';
$VAR2 = 'INSERT';
$VAR3 = 'UPDATE';
$VAR4 = 'DELETE';
$VAR5 = 'LOCK TABLES';
$VAR6 = 'EXECUTE';
$VAR7 = 'TRIGGER';
===

$VAR1 = [
          'SELECT',
          'INSERT',
          'UPDATE',
          'DELETE',
          'LOCK TABLES',
          'EXECUTE',
          'TRIGGER'
        ];
===

$GRANTs = [
            'SELECT',
            'INSERT',
            'UPDATE',
            'DELETE',
            'LOCK TABLES',
            'EXECUTE',
            'TRIGGER'
          ];
