I had the same error on IIS Express. In my case, I had two projects as startup projects.I changed properties of the solution to single startup project and ran it. then changed it to previous settings and ran the solution again and no error occurred again!

this resolved this issue by adding namespace to Global.asax.cs file.

1. Make sure public members of student class are defined as properties w/ {get; set;} (yours are public variables - a common mistake).

I'm going to add my solution here because I personally hate the ones which edit the web.config without explaining what is going on.

For me it was how the default Handler Mappings are set in IIS. To check this...

1. Open IIS Manager
2. Click on the root node of your server (usually the name of the server)
3. Open "Handler Mappings"
4. Under Actions in the right pane, click "View ordered list"

This is the order of handlers that process a request. If yours are like mine, the "ExtensionlessUrlHandler-*" handlers are all below the StaticFile handler. Well that isn't going to work because the StaticFile handler has a wildcard of * and will return a 404 before even getting to an extensionless controller.

So rearranging this and moving the "ExtensionlessUrlHandler-*" above the wildcard handlers of TRACE, OPTIONS and StaticFile will then have the Extensionless handler activated first and should allow your controllers, in any website running in the system, to respond correctly.

Note: This is basically what happens when you remove and add the modules in the web.config but a single place to solve it for everything. And it doesn't require extra code!

There's no magic to it. Its just been written into the core codebase of the MVC framework and is therefore something that MVC "knows" about. That why you don't find it in the .config files or elsewhere; it's actually in the MVC code. You can however override to alter or null out these conventions.

I had the same issue and resolved by adding "Connection Time" value in web.config file. locate the connectionStrings and add Connection Timeout=3600"

Do keep in mind that you cannot catch type and file load exceptions generated by the jitter this way. They happen before your Main() method starts running. Catching those requires delaying the jitter, move the risky code into another method and apply the [MethodImpl(MethodImplOptions.NoInlining)] attribute to it.

I second jdk's answer: any public static member of any class of your application can be considered as a "global variable".

However, do note that this is an ASP.NET application, and as such, it's a multi-threaded context for your global variables. Therefore, you should use some locking mechanism when you update and/or read the data to/from these variables. Otherwise, you might get your data in a corrupted state.

The root directory of a web application has a special significance and certain content can be present on in that folder. It can have a special file called as “Global.asax”. ASP.Net framework uses the content in the global.asax and creates a class at runtime which is inherited from HttpApplication. During the lifetime of an application, ASP.NET maintains a pool of Global.asax derived HttpApplication instances. When an application receives an http request, the ASP.Net page framework assigns one of these instances to process that request. As silly as it may sound. Here is what I did..

My project was targeting 4.6.1 version. Changed the target version to 4.6.2. built it. deleted obj & bin folders. & once again changed the version to 4.6.1. Bingo!!

Make sure all your own referenced dlls have "Copy Local" set to True in the Properties window, unless they are in the GAC. There is no need to do this with framework dlls.

Brian, This approach works great for non-Ajax requests, but as Lion_cl stated, if you have an error during an Ajax call, your Share/Error.aspx view (or your custom error page view) will be returned to the Ajax caller--the user will NOT be redirected to the error page.

I can't speak directly for ASP.NET MVC, but for ASP.NET Web Forms, the trick is to create a FormsAuthenticationTicket and encrypt it into a cookie once the user has been authenticated. This way, you only have to call the database once (or AD or whatever you are using to perform your authentication), and each subsequent request will authenticate based on the ticket stored in the cookie.

After trying as many of the other answers as were applicable in my situation and having no luck with any of them, I went into the properties for the Web project (the server-side project for a Silverlight app using RIA Services), clicked on the "Web" tab and changed the selected Server from "Local IIS" to "IIS Express". I used to skip deploying ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub by automated scripts.

All ssh usages worked, but the error made me think of a possible mess.

Not at all - strace helped to notice that the trigger was actually the *.pub file:

When Python parses the body of a function definition and encounters an assignment such as

feed = ...

Python interprets feed as a local variable by default. If you do not wish for it to be a local variable, you must put

global feed

in the function definition. The global statement does not have to be at the beginning of the function definition, but that is where it is usually placed. Wherever it is placed, the global declaration makes feed a global variable everywhere in the function.

Without the global statement, since feed is taken to be a local variable, when Python executes

feed = feed + 1,

Python evaluates the right-hand side first and tries to look up the value of feed. The first time through it finds feed is undefined. Hence the error.

The shortest way to patch up the code is to add global feed to the beginning of onLoadFinished. The nicer way is to use a class:

The problem with having functions which mutate global variables is that it makes it harder to grok your code. Functions are no longer isolated units. Their interaction extends to everything that affects or is affected by the global variable. Thus it makes larger programs harder to understand.

By avoiding mutating globals, in the long run your code will be easier to understand, test and maintain.

gcc and g++ are compiler-drivers of the GNU Compiler Collection (which was once upon a time just the GNU C Compiler).

Even though they automatically determine which backends (cc1 cc1plus ...) to call depending on the file-type, unless overridden with -x language, they have some differences.

The probably most important difference in their defaults is which libraries they link against automatically.

According to GCC's online documentation link options and how g++ is invoked, g++ is equivalent to gcc -xc++ -lstdc++ -shared-libgcc (the 1st is a compiler option, the 2nd two are linker options). For periodic tasks that might end up taking longer than the repeat interval (like an HTTP request on a slow connection) it's best not to use setInterval(). If the first request hasn't completed and you start another one, you could end up in a situation where you have multiple requests that consume shared resources and starve each other. You can avoid this problem by waiting to schedule the next request until the last one has completed:

I found that subplots_adjust(hspace = 0.001) is what ended up working for me. When I use space = None, there is still white space between each plot. Setting it to something very close to zero however seems to force them to line up. What I've uploaded here isn't the most elegant piece of code, but you can see how the hspace works.

Let's look at few aspects first, both the function provided by os package of golang are not utilities but error checkers, what do I mean by that is they are just a wrapper to handle errors on cross platform.

So basically if os.Stat if this function doesn't give any error that means the file is existing if it does you need to check what kind of error it is, here comes the use of these two function os.IsNotExist and os.IsExist.

This can be understood as the Stat of the file throwing error because it doesn't exists or is it throwing error because it exist and there is some problem with it.

The parameter that these functions take is of type error, although you might be able to pass nil to it but it wouldn't make sense.

This also points to the fact that IsExist is not same as !IsNotExist, they are way two different things.

When I was new to Linux.I usually found this error with my Laravel Project. White errors means error, It may have some permission issue or error.

You just have to follow two steps, and will work like champ :)

(1) Give the permission. Run these command from root directory of your project

(a) sudo chmod 777 -R storage
(b) sudo chmod bootstrap/cache

(2) If you cloned the project or pulled from github then run

composer install

(3) Configure your .env file properly, and your project will work.

Use malloc() when you don't know the amount of memory needed during compile time. In case if you have read-only strings then you can use const char* str = "something"; . Note that the string is most probably be stored in a read-only memory location and you'll not be able to modify it. I was running into the problem where i had the json with some common keys. I wanted to group all the values having the same key. After some surfing I found hashmap package. Which is really helpful.

To group the element with the same key, I used multi(key:*, value:*, key2:*, value2:*, ...).

It comes down to this. Oracle treats an empty string as a NULL. If we attempt to compare a NULL and another string the outcome is not TRUE nor FALSE, it is NULL. This remains the case even if the other string is also a NULL.

What kind of processing are you trying to do? You can do XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); followed by doc.Load(filename). Then the XML document can be parsed in memory.

Just wanted to share with you:
I happened to get this error after changing Digital Ocean machine (IP address). Apparently Gmail recognized it as a hacking attack. After following their directions, and approving the new IP address the code is back and running.

I think there are three key items you need to understand regarding project structure: Targets, projects, and workspaces. Targets specify in detail how a product/binary (i.e., an application or library) is built. They include build settings, such as compiler and linker flags, and they define which files (source code and resources) actually belong to a product. When you build/run, you always select one specific target.

It is likely that you have a few targets that share code and resources. These different targets can be slightly different versions of an app (iPad/iPhone, different brandings,…) or test cases that naturally need to access the same source files as the app. All these related targets can be grouped in a project. While the project contains the files from all its targets, each target picks its own subset of relevant files. The same goes for build settings: You can define default project-wide settings in the project, but if one of your targets needs different settings, you can always override them there:

Concrete target settings: PSE iPhone overrides the project’s Base SDK setting

In Xcode, you always open projects (or workspaces, but not targets), and all the targets it contains can be built/run, but there’s no way/definition of building a project, so every project needs at least one target in order to be more than just a collection of files and settings.

In a lot of cases, projects are all you need. If you have a dependency that you build from source, you can embed it as a subproject. Subprojects can be opened separately or within their super project.

If you add one of the subproject’s targets to the super project’s dependencies, the subproject will be automatically built unless it has remained unchanged. The advantage here is that you can edit files from both your project and your dependencies in the same Xcode window, and when you build/run, you can select from the project’s and its subprojects’ targets:

If, however, your library (the subproject) is used by a variety of other projects (or their targets, to be precise), it makes sense to put it on the same hierarchy level – that’s what workspaces are for. Workspaces contain and manage projects, and all the projects it includes directly (i.e., not their subprojects) are on the same level and their targets can depend on each other (projects’ targets can depend on subprojects’ targets, but not vice versa).

Workspace structure

In this example, both apps (AnotherApplication / ProjectStructureExample) can reference the demoLib project’s targets. This would also be possible by including the demoLib project in both other projects as a subproject (which is a reference only, so no duplication necessary), but if you have lots of cross-dependencies, workspaces make more sense. If you open a workspace, you can choose from all projects’ targets when building/running.

You can still open your project files separately, but it is likely their targets won’t build because Xcode cannot resolve the dependencies unless you open the workspace file. Workspaces give you the same benefit as subprojects: Once a dependency changes, Xcode will rebuild it to make sure it’s up-to-date (although I have had some issues with that, it doesn’t seem to work reliably).

Your questions in a nutshell:

1) Projects contain files (code/resouces), settings, and targets that build products from those files and settings. Workspaces contain projects which can reference each other.

2) Both are responsible for structuring your overall project, but on different levels.

3) I think projects are sufficient in most cases. Don’t use workspaces unless there’s a specific reason. Plus, you can always embed your project in a workspace later.

4) I think that’s what the above text is for…

There’s one remark for 3): CocoaPods, which automatically handles 3rd party libraries for you, uses workspaces. Therefore, you have to use them, too, when you use CocoaPods (which a lot of people do).

The best thing to keep in mind is to keep track of the references to your objects. It is very easy to end up with hanging references to objects that you don't care about anymore. If you are not going to use something anymore, get rid of it.

Get used to using a cache provider with sliding expirations, so that if something isn't referenced for a desired time window it is dereferenced and cleaned up. But if it is being accessed a lot it will say in memory.

Bitcode (iOS, watchOS)

Bitcode is an intermediate representation of a compiled program. Apps you upload to iTunes Connect that contain bitcode will be compiled and linked on the App Store. Including bitcode will allow Apple to re-optimize your app binary in the future without the need to submit a new version of your app to the store.

Basically this concept is somewhat similar to java where byte code is run on different JVM's and in this case the bitcode is placed on iTune store and instead of giving the intermediate code to different platforms(devices) it provides the compiled code which don't need any virtual machine to run.

Thus we need to create the bitcode once and it will be available for existing or coming devices. It's the Apple's headache to compile an make it compatible with each platform they have.

Devs don't have to make changes and submit the app again to support new platforms.

Let's take the example of iPhone 5s when apple introduced x64 chip in it. Although x86 apps were totally compatible with x64 architecture but to fully utilise the x64 platform the developer has to change the architecture or some code. Once s/he's done the app is submitted to the app store for the review.

If this bitcode concept was launched earlier then we the developers doesn't have to make any changes to support the x64 bit architecture.

As simply as possible, there's no physical difference between a socket and a port, the way there is between, e.g., PATA and SATA. They're just bits of software reading and writing a NIC.

A port is essentially a public socket, some of which are well-known/well-accepted, the usual example being 80, dedicated to HTTP. Anyone who wants to exchange traffic using a certain protocol, HTTP in this instance, canonically goes to port 80. Of course, 80 is not physically dedicated to HTTP (it's not physically anything, it's just a number, a logical value), and could be used on some particular machine for some other protocol ad libitum, as long as those attempting to connect know which protocol (which could be quite private) to use.

A socket is essentially a private port, established for particular purposes known to the connecting parties but not necessarily known to anyone else. The underlying transport layer is usually TCP or UDP, but it doesn't have to be. The essential characteristic is that both ends know what's going on, whatever that might be.

The key here is that when a connection request is received on some port, the reply handshake includes information about the socket created to service the particular requester. Subsequent communication takes place through that (private) socket connection, not the public port connection on which the service continues to listen for connection requests.

NOTE: If you're depending on the HTTP_HOST key (which contains user input), you still have to make some cleanup, remove spaces, commas, carriage return, etc. Anything that is not a valid character for a domain. Check the PHP builtin parse_url function for an example.

There are lots of options out there. Many of which are available as downloadable software as well as public websites. I do not think many of them expect to be used as API's unless they explicitly state that.

The one that I found effective was Enju which did not have the character limit that the Marc's Carnagie Mellon link had. Marc also mentioned a VISL scanner in comments, but that requires java in the browser, which is a non-starter for me.

Note that recently, Google has offered a new NLP Machine Learning API that providers amoung other features, a automatic sentence parser. I will likely not update this answer again, especially since the question is closed, but I suspect that the other big ML cloud stacks will soon support the same.

This happened to me in VS2017 v 15.6.7 using .net core 2.0.

When the project first launched it created an SSL Cert for localhost and started fine. When I disabled SSL I kept getting this issue.

Apparently when you disable SSL the port numbers are changed and not all of the port numbers get changed to the new port. Make sure port numbers on Debug are all the same number.

I assume Answer as an Integer data type so in this case, you can easily use Scanner class for adding the multiple elements(say 50).

This is a simple and easy method for adding multiple values in an ArrayList using for loop. As in the above code, I presume the Answer as Integer it could be String, Double, Long et Cetra. So, in that case, you can use next(), nextDouble(), and nextLong() respectively.

This question is often asked in interview to check whether candidate understands correct usage of collection classes and is aware of alternative solutions available.

1. The HashMap class is roughly equivalent to Hashtable, except that it is non synchronized and permits nulls. (HashMap allows null values as key and value whereas Hashtable doesn't allow nulls).
2. HashMap does not guarantee that the order of the map will remain constant over time.
3. HashMap is non synchronized whereas Hashtable is synchronized.
4. Iterator in the HashMap is fail-safe while the enumerator for the Hashtable is not and throw ConcurrentModificationException if any other Thread modifies the map structurally by adding or removing any element except Iterator's own remove() method. But this is not a guaranteed behavior and will be done by JVM on best effort.

Note on Some Important Terms:

1. Synchronized means only one thread can modify a hash table at one point of time. Basically, it means that any thread before performing an update on a Hashtable will have to acquire a lock on the object while others will wait for lock to be released.
2. Fail-safe is relevant within the context of iterators. If an iterator has been created on a collection object and some other thread tries to modify the collection object "structurally", a concurrent modification exception will be thrown. It is possible for other threads though to invoke set method since it doesn't modify the collection "structurally". However, if prior to calling set, the collection has been modified structurally, IllegalArgumentException will be thrown.
3. Structurally modification means deleting or inserting element which could effectively change the structure of map.

HashMap can be synchronized by

Map provides Collection views instead of direct support for iteration via Enumeration objects. Collection views greatly enhance the expressiveness of the interface, as discussed later in this section. Map allows you to iterate over keys, values, or key-value pairs; Hashtable does not provide the third option. Map provides a safe way to remove entries in the midst of iteration; Hashtable did not. Finally, Map fixes a minor deficiency in the Hashtable interface. Hashtable has a method called contains, which returns true if the Hashtable contains a given value. Given its name, you'd expect this method to return true if the Hashtable contained a given key, because the key is the primary access mechanism for a Hashtable. The Map interface eliminates this source of confusion by renaming the method containsValue. Also, this improves the interface's consistency — containsValue parallels containsKey.

2. 'for' and 'while' have different syntax and offer different styles of programmer control for an iteration. Most non-asm languages offer a similar syntax.

With while, you would probably write i=0; while [ $i -lt 10 ]; do echo $i; i=$(( i + 1 )); done in essence manage everything about the iteration yourself

Apache-commons

One possibility is to use apache-commons-lang. You can do it using DateUtils as follows:

Date dateBefore30Days = DateUtils.addDays(new Date(),-30);

Of course add the commons-lang dependency to do only date subtract it's probably not a good options, however if you're already using commons-lang it's a good choice. There is also convenient methods to addYears,addMonths,addWeeks and so on, take a look at the api here.

Java 8

Another possibility is to take advantage of new LocalDate from Java 8 using minusDays(long days) method:

If what you want is a fixed size array, and initialize it with nil values, you can use an UnsafeMutableBufferPointer, allocate memory for 64 nodes with it, and then read/write from/to the memory by subscripting the pointer type instance. This also has the benefit of avoiding checking if the memory must be reallocated, which Array does. I would however be surprised if the compiler doesn't optimize that away for arrays that don't have any more calls to methods that may require resizing, other than at the creation site.

Now, this is a class, and not a structure, so there's some reference counting overhead incurred here. You can change it to a struct instead, but because Swift doesn't provide you with an ability to use copy initializers and deinit on structures, you'll need a deallocation method (func release() { memory.deallocate() }), and all copied instances of the structure will reference the same memory.

Now, this class may just be good enough. Its use is simple:

To expand on this a bit more:

If you are running a server you either need to use TCP_KEEPALIVE to monitor the client connections, or do something similar yourself, or have knowledge about the data/protocol that you are running over the connection.

Basically, if the connection gets killed (i.e. not properly closed) then the server won't notice until it tries to write something to the client, which is what the keepalive achieves for you. Alternatively, if you know the protocol better, you could just disconnect on an inactivity timeout anyway.

Template parameters can be either parameterized by type (typename T) or by value (int X).

The "traditional" C++ way of templating a piece of code is to use a functor - that is, the code is in an object, and the object thus gives the code unique type.

When working with traditional functions, this technique doesn't work well, because a change in type doesn't indicate a specific function - rather it specifies only the signature of many possible functions. So:

The compiler would have to be pretty aggressive to fully inline this case. (I wouldn't rule it out though, as compiler optimization has gotten pretty advanced.)

One way to tell that this code doesn't quite do what we want is:

In this case, each instantiated version of do_op is instantiated with a specific function already available. Thus we expect the code for do_op to look a lot like "return a + b". (Lisp programmers, stop your smirking!)

We can also confirm that this is closer to what we want because this:

will fail to compile. GCC says: "error: 'func_ptr' cannot appear in a constant-expression. In other words, I can't fully expand do_op because you haven't given me enough info at compiler time to know what our op is.

So if the second example is really fully inlining our op, and the first is not, what good is the template? What is it doing? The answer is: type coercion. This riff on the first example will work:

What has happened is do_op has been templated around the signatures of the various functions, and each separate instantiation will write different type coercion code. call the function ptr op with float a and float b.
convert the result back to int and return it.

By comparison, our by-value case requires an exact match on the function arguments.

I don't think desc takes an na.rm argument... I'm actually surprised it doesn't throw an error when you give it one. If you just want to remove NAs, use na.omit (base) or tidyr::drop_na:

You can use the Background Panel class. It does the custom painting as explained above but gives you options to display the image scaled, tiled or normal size. It also explains how you can use a JLabel with an image as the content pane for the frame.

In later versions of MySQL you can use the information_schema database to tell you when another table was updated:

Although as other answers here have said you can change the "Output type" to "Windows Application", please be aware that this will mean that you cannot use Console.In as it will become a NullStreamReader.

Console.Out and Console.Error seem to still work fine however.

You have #include "fun.cpp" in mainfile.cpp so compiling with:

g++ -o hw1 mainfile.cpp

will work, however if you compile by linking these together like

g++ -g -std=c++11 -Wall -pedantic   -c -o fun.o fun.cpp

As they mention above, adding #include "fun.hpp" will need to be done or it won't work. However, your case with the funct() function is slightly different than my problem.

I had this issue when doing a HW assignment and the autograder compiled by the lower bash recipe, yet locally it worked using the upper bash.

Obviously you can use maxLength in xml or InputFilter.LengthFilter as answered above. But for me in some cases, it was not enough. I created a class for more flexible settings of EditText: https://github.com/devapro/NumberWatcher It is implementation only for numbers input, but you can change it for any of the types.

There are basically 3 choices for waiting in (almost) any programming language:

1. Loose waiting
   • Executing thread blocks for given time (= does not consume processing power)
   • No processing is possible on blocked/waiting thread
   • Not so precise
2. Tight waiting (also called tight loop)
   • processor is VERY busy for the entire waiting interval (in fact, it usually consumes 100% of one core's processing time)
   • Some actions can be performed while waiting
   • Very precise
3. Combination of previous 2
   • It usually combines processing efficiency of 1. and preciseness + ability to do something of 2.

for 1. - Loose waiting in C#:

Thread.Sleep(numberOfMilliseconds);

However, windows thread scheduler causes acccuracy of Sleep() to be around 15ms (so Sleep can easily wait for 20ms, even if scheduled to wait just for 1ms).

for 2. - Tight waiting in C# is:

This code regularly blocks thread for 1ms (or slightly more, depending on OS thread scheduling), so processor is not busy for that time of blocking and code does not consume 100% of processor's power. Other processing can still be performed in-between blocking (such as: updating of UI, handling of events or doing interaction/communication stuff).

The -2 will get you the first day of last month. ie, getdate() is 10/15/18. Your results would be 9/1/18. Change to -1 and your results would be 10/1/18. 0 would be the start of next month, 11/1/2018.. etc etc.

You need to use cell.Text = "#N/A" instead of cell.Value = "#N/A". The error in the cell is actually just text stored in the cell.

I agree that one shouldn't suppress warnings in classes or methods as one could overlook other, accidentally suppressed warnings. But IMHO it's absolutely reasonable to suppress a warning that affects only a single line of code.

I started using following log4j (1.2.17) version and it helped me solve this issue without any configurations related fixes.

Thanks to the talk with Sarfraz we could figure out the solution.

The problem was that I was passing an HTML element instead of its value, which is actually what I wanted to do (in fact in my php code I need that value as a foreign key for querying my cities table and filter correct entries).

So, instead of:

Somewhat hacky, but seems to work:

I did think that the inner function would be able to modify the y declared in the outer lexical scope, but that didn't work, so we play some nasty hacks with structure modification instead. It is probably more elegant to use a generator.

The problem is two-fold.

First, once a Modal object is instantiated, it is persistently attached to the element specified by data-target and subsequent calls to show that modal will only call toggle() on it, but will not update the values in the options. So, even though the href attributes are different on your different links, when the modal is toggled, the value for remote is not getting updated. For most options, one can get around this by directly editing the object. For instance:

However, that won't work in this case, because...

Second, the Modal plugin is designed to load the remote resource in the constructor of the Modal object, which unfortunately means that even if a change is made to the options.remote, it will never be reloaded.

A simple remedy is to destroy the Modal object before subsequent toggles. One option is to just destroy it after it finishes hiding:

Or you could try coming up with a more complicated scheme to do something like check whether the link launching the modal is different from the previous one. If it is, destroy; if it isn't, then no need to reload.

In modern browsers (IE8, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari) you can use querySelector():

It's way shorter, more elegant and safe. I use it all the time. The only disadvantage is that you cannot do else if branching that easily but that is usually not that common.

Anyway, this is possible thanks to how logical operators in JavaScript work. The logical operators even allow little tricks like this:

I would always encode in UTF-8. From the Wikipedia page on percent encoding:

The generic URI syntax mandates that new URI schemes that provide for the representation of character data in a URI must, in effect, represent characters from the unreserved set without translation, and should convert all other characters to bytes according to UTF-8, and then percent-encode those values. This requirement was introduced in January 2005 with the publication of RFC 3986. URI schemes introduced before this date are not affected.

It seems like because there were other accepted ways of doing URL encoding in the past, browsers attempt several methods of decoding a URI, but if you're the one doing the encoding you should use UTF-8.

If you want just the summary of the exception use:

FYI if you can want to replace simultaneous muti-linebreaks with single line break then you can use

While I believe SJoshi (oracle guy) has the most complete answer, the SWIG project is a special case, interesting and useful one, at that, but not generalized for the majority of projects that have done well with the standard SDK ant based projects + NDK. We all would like to be using Android studio now most likely, or want a more CI friendly build toolchain for mobile, which gradle theoretically offers.

I've posted my approach, borrowed from somewhere (I found this on SO, but posted a gist for the app build.gradle: https://gist.github.com/truedat101/c45ff2b69e91d5c8e9c7962d4b96e841 ). In a nutshell, I recommend the following:

• Don't upgrade your project to the latest gradle build
• Use com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.5.0 in your Project root
• Use com.android.application in your app project
• Make sure gradle.properties has: android.useDeprecatedNdk=true (in case it's complaining)
• Use the above approach to ensure that your hours and hours of effort creating Android.mk files won't be tossed away. You control which targets arch(s) to build. And these instructions are kind to Windows users, who should theoretically be able to build on windows without special issues.

Gradle for Android has been a mess in my opinion, much as I like the maven concepts borrowed and the opinionated structure of directories for a project. This NDK feature has been "coming soon" for almost 3+ years.

While you can use a virtualenv, you don't need to. The trick is passing the PEP370 --user argument to the setup.py script. With the latest version of pip, one way to do it is:

pip install --user mercurial

This should result in the hg script being installed in $HOME/.local/bin/hg and the rest of the hg package in $HOME/.local/lib/pythonx.y/site-packages/.

Note, that the above is true for Python 2.6. There has been a bit of controversy among the Python core developers about what is the appropriate directory location on Mac OS X for PEP370-style user installations. In Python 2.7 and 3.2, the location on Mac OS X was changed from $HOME/.local to $HOME/Library/Python. This might change in a future release. But, for now, on 2.7 (and 3.2, if hg were supported on Python 3), the above locations will be $HOME/Library/Python/x.y/bin/hg and $HOME/Library/Python/x.y/lib/python/site-packages.

Try adding a semi colon to the end of your structure:

As discussed above, ALTER command cannot be written inside a transaction. The suggested way is to insert into the pg_enum table directly, by retrieving the typelem from pg_type table and calculating the next enumsortorder number;

Following is the code that I use. (Checks if duplicate value exists before inserting (constraint between enumtypid and enumlabel name)

Note that your type name is prepended with an underscore in the pg_type table. Also, the typname needs to be all lowercase in the where clause.

Now this can be written safely into your db migrate script.

When the jQuery click event calls your event handler, it sets "this" to the object that was clicked on. To turn it into a jQuery object, just pass it to the "$" function: $(this). So, to get, for example, the next sibling element, you would do this inside the click handler:

Edit: After reading Kevin's comment, I realized I might be mistaken about what you want. If you want to do what he asked, i.e. select the corresponding link in the other div, you could use $(this).index() to get the clicked link's position. Then you would select the link in the other div by its position, for example with the "eq" method.

If you want to be able to go both ways, you will need some way of determining which div you are in so you know if you need "next()" or "prev()" after "parent()"

For me the problem was having the .BAK file located in an encrypted folder on the server. Even with full Admin rights, I could never get SSMS to read the file. Moving the .BAK to an unencrypted folder solved my problem. Note that after moving the file you may have to also change the properties on the actual file to remove encryption (right click, properties, advanced, uncheck "encrypt contents to secure data".

I know this is an old Post but I am adding here for future reference. Here is a solution that I found:

Ok, the question seems to have been answered fairly well, the UNICODE overload should take a wide character array as its second parameter. So if the command line parameter is "Hello" that would probably end up as "H\0e\0l\0l\0o\0\0\0" and your program would only print the 'H' before it sees what it thinks is a null terminator.

So now you may wonder why it even compiles and links.

Well it compiles because you are allowed to define an overload to a function.

Linking is a slightly more complex issue. In C, there is no decorated symbol information so it just finds a function called main. The argc and argv are probably always there as call-stack parameters just in case even if your function is defined with that signature, even if your function happens to ignore them.

Even though C++ does have decorated symbols, it almost certainly uses C-linkage for main, rather than a clever linker that looks for each one in turn. So it found your wmain and put the parameters onto the call-stack in case it is the int wmain(int, wchar_t*[]) version.
