mkdir()
creates only one directory at a time, if it is parent that one only. other wise it can create the sub directory(if the specified path is existed only) and do not create any directories in between any two directories. so it can not create smultiple directories in one directory
mkdirs()
create the multiple directories(in between two directories also) at a time.
printf
is great, but people forget about it.
$ for num in 1 10 100 1000 10000 100000 1000000; do printf "%10s %s\n" $num "foobar"; done
1 foobar
10 foobar
100 foobar
1000 foobar
10000 foobar
100000 foobar
1000000 foobar
$ for((i=0;i<array_size;i++));
do
printf "%10s %10d %10s" stringarray[$i] numberarray[$i] anotherfieldarray[%i]
done
Notice I used %10s
for strings. %s
is the important part. It tells it to use a string. The 10
in the middle says how many columns it is to be. %d
is for numerics (digits).
man 1 printf
for more info.
I'm doing something I'm not proud of as workaround. In my Python servlet that actually saves to the database, I do:
if description.startswith('<p>') and description.endswith('</p>'):
description = description[3:-4]
While only a few lines are required to plot multiple/overlapping histograms in ggplot2, the results are't always satisfactory. There needs to be proper use of borders and coloring to ensure the eye can differentiate between histograms.
The following functions balance border colors, opacities, and superimposed density plots to enable the viewer to differentiate among distributions.
Single histogram:
plot_histogram <- function(df, feature) {
plt <- ggplot(df, aes(x=eval(parse(text=feature)))) +
geom_histogram(aes(y = ..density..), alpha=0.7, fill="#33AADE", color="black") +
geom_density(alpha=0.3, fill="red") +
geom_vline(aes(xintercept=mean(eval(parse(text=feature)))), color="black", linetype="dashed", size=1) +
labs(x=feature, y = "Density")
print(plt)
}
Multiple histogram:
plot_multi_histogram <- function(df, feature, label_column) {
plt <- ggplot(df, aes(x=eval(parse(text=feature)), fill=eval(parse(text=label_column)))) +
geom_histogram(alpha=0.7, position="identity", aes(y = ..density..), color="black") +
geom_density(alpha=0.7) +
geom_vline(aes(xintercept=mean(eval(parse(text=feature)))), color="black", linetype="dashed", size=1) +
labs(x=feature, y = "Density")
plt + guides(fill=guide_legend(title=label_column))
}
Usage:
Simply pass your data frame into the above functions along with desired arguments:
plot_histogram(iris, 'Sepal.Width')
plot_multi_histogram(iris, 'Sepal.Width', 'Species')
The extra parameter in plot_multi_histogram is the name of the column containing the category labels.
We can see this more dramatically by creating a dataframe with many different distribution means:
a <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 1), category=rep('A', 1000))
b <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 2), category=rep('B', 1000))
c <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 3), category=rep('C', 1000))
d <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 4), category=rep('D', 1000))
e <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 5), category=rep('E', 1000))
f <-data.frame(n=rnorm(1000, mean = 6), category=rep('F', 1000))
many_distros <- do.call('rbind', list(a,b,c,d,e,f))
Passing data frame in as before (and widening chart using options):
options(repr.plot.width = 20, repr.plot.height = 8)
plot_multi_histogram(many_distros, 'n', 'category')
I have good success using CeTe Dynamic PDF products. They're not free, but are well documented. They did the job for me.
Pure Virtual Functions are mostly used to define:
a) abstract classes
These are base classes where you have to derive from them and then implement the pure virtual functions.
b) interfaces
These are 'empty' classes where all functions are pure virtual and hence you have to derive and then implement all of the functions.
Pure virtual functions are actually functions which have no implementation in base class and have to be implemented in derived class.
I had the exact same issue, after rightly have configured in Mac OSX host a SharedFolder with Auto-Mount enabled. On the Guest OS, it is also required to install VirtualBox Guest Additions. For the case of Windows, it is:
VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe
Right after this installation, i could perfectly view the shared folder content under This PC and Network ("\VBOXSVR\Installers").

in gradle.properties, you can even delete
org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx1536m
such lines or comment them out. Let android studio decide for it. When I ran into this same problem, none of above solutions worked for me. Commenting out this line in gradle.properties helped in solving that error.
Here's an approach using tbody elements that could be the way to do it. You can't set the border on a tbody (same as you can't on a tr) but you can set the background colour. If the effect you're wanting to acheive can be obtained with a background colour on the groups of rows instead of a border this will work.
<table cellspacing="0">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>no border</td>
<td>no border here either</td>
</tr>
<tbody bgcolor="gray">
<tr>
<td>one</td>
<td>two</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>three</td>
<td>four</td>
</tr>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td colspan="2">once again no borders</td>
</tr>
<tbody bgcolor="gray">
<tr>
<td colspan="2">hello</td>
</tr>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td colspan="2">world</td>
</tr>
</table>
Here is my implementation of TRUNC function
private static object Tranc(List<Expression.Expression> p)
{
var target = (decimal)p[0].Evaluate();
// check if formula contains only one argument
var digits = p.Count > 1
? (decimal) p[1].Evaluate()
: 0;
return Math.Truncate((double)target * Math.Pow(10, (int)digits)) / Math.Pow(10, (int)digits);
}
A bit old and different, as I needed to change a certain line in all instances of a particular file name.
Also, Set-Content
was not returning consistent results, so I had to resort to Out-File
.
Code below:
$FileName =''
$OldLine = ''
$NewLine = ''
$Drives = Get-PSDrive -PSProvider FileSystem
foreach ($Drive in $Drives) {
Push-Location $Drive.Root
Get-ChildItem -Filter "$FileName" -Recurse | ForEach {
(Get-Content $_.FullName).Replace($OldLine, $NewLine) | Out-File $_.FullName
}
Pop-Location
}
This is what worked best for me on this PowerShell version:

Is there a reason why you can't use the Excel ODBC connection to read and write to Excel? For example, I've used the following code to read from an Excel file row by row like a database:
private DataTable LoadExcelData(string fileName)
{
string Connection = "Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=" + fileName + ";Extended Properties=\"Excel 12.0;HDR=Yes;IMEX=1\";";
OleDbConnection con = new OleDbConnection(Connection);
OleDbCommand command = new OleDbCommand();
DataTable dt = new DataTable(); OleDbDataAdapter myCommand = new OleDbDataAdapter("select * from [Sheet1$] WHERE LastName <> '' ORDER BY LastName, FirstName", con);
myCommand.Fill(dt);
Console.WriteLine(dt.Rows.Count);
return dt;
}
You can write to the Excel "database" the same way. As you can see, you can select the version number to use so that you can downgrade Excel versions for the machine with Excel 2003. Actually, the same is true for using the Interop. You can use the lower version and it should work with Excel 2003 even though you only have the higher version on your development PC.
There are many excellent answers to this question, including the important use cases of forward declarations, polymorphism etc. but I feel a part of the "soul" of your question is not answered - namely what the different syntaxes mean across Java and C++.
Let's examine the situation comparing the two languages:
Object object1 = new Object(); //A new object is allocated by Java
Object object2 = new Object(); //Another new object is allocated by Java
object1 = object2;
//object1 now points to the object originally allocated for object2
//The object originally allocated for object1 is now "dead" - nothing points to it, so it
//will be reclaimed by the Garbage Collector.
//If either object1 or object2 is changed, the change will be reflected to the other
The closest equivalent to this, is:
Object * object1 = new Object(); //A new object is allocated on the heap
Object * object2 = new Object(); //Another new object is allocated on the heap
delete object1;
//Since C++ does not have a garbage collector, if we don't do that, the next line would
//cause a "memory leak", i.e. a piece of claimed memory that the app cannot use
//and that we have no way to reclaim...
object1 = object2; //Same as Java, object1 points to object2.
Let's see the alternative C++ way:
Object object1; //A new object is allocated on the STACK
Object object2; //Another new object is allocated on the STACK
object1 = object2;//!!!! This is different! The CONTENTS of object2 are COPIED onto object1,
//using the "copy assignment operator", the definition of operator =.
//But, the two objects are still different. Change one, the other remains unchanged.
//Also, the objects get automatically destroyed once the function returns...
The best way to think of it is that -- more or less -- Java (implicitly) handles pointers to objects, while C++ may handle either pointers to objects, or the objects themselves. There are exceptions to this -- for example, if you declare Java "primitive" types, they are actual values that are copied, and not pointers. So,
int object1; //An integer is allocated on the stack.
int object2; //Another integer is allocated on the stack.
object1 = object2; //The value of object2 is copied to object1.
That said, using pointers is NOT necessarily either the correct or the wrong way to handle things; however other answers have covered that satisfactorily. The general idea though is that in C++ you have much more control on the lifetime of the objects, and on where they will live.
Take home point -- the Object * object = new Object()
construct is actually what is closest to typical Java (or C# for that matter) semantics.

I am following the same tuturial and I had this issue and how I solved is just download the
from this link then install it then the command worked just fine!
By adding a custom view with the background color of your own you can have a custom selection style in table view.
let customBGColorView = UIView()
customBGColorView.backgroundColor = UIColor(hexString: "#FFF900")
cellObj.selectedBackgroundView = customBGColorView
Add this 3 line code in cellForRowAt method of TableView. I have used an extension in UIColor to add color with hexcode. Put this extension code at the end of any Class(Outside the class's body).
extension UIColor {
convenience init(hexString: String) {
let hex = hexString.trimmingCharacters(in: CharacterSet.alphanumerics.inverted)
var int = UInt32()
Scanner(string: hex).scanHexInt32(&int)
let a, r, g, b: UInt32
switch hex.characters.count {
case 3: // RGB (12-bit)
(a, r, g, b) = (255, (int >> 8) * 17, (int >> 4 & 0xF) * 17, (int & 0xF) * 17)
case 6: // RGB (24-bit)
(a, r, g, b) = (255, int >> 16, int >> 8 & 0xFF, int & 0xFF)
case 8: // ARGB (32-bit)
(a, r, g, b) = (int >> 24, int >> 16 & 0xFF, int >> 8 & 0xFF, int & 0xFF)
default:
(a, r, g, b) = (255, 0, 0, 0)
}
self.init(red: CGFloat(r) / 255, green: CGFloat(g) / 255, blue: CGFloat(b) / 255, alpha: CGFloat(a) / 255)
}
}
I ran into the same issue in Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS. In my case, apt installed gradle version 4.4.1. The already-install java version was 11.0.4
The build message I got was
Could not determine java version from '11.0.4'.
At the time, most of the online docs referenced gradle version 5.6, so I did the following:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cwchien/gradle
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade gradle
Then I repeated the project initialiation (using "gradle init" with the defaults). After that, "./gradlew build" worked correctly.
I later read a comment regarding a change in format of the output from "java --version" that caused gradle to break, which was fixed in a later version of gradle.
To return only one row use LIMIT 1
:
SELECT *
FROM tbl_foo
WHERE name = 'sarmen'
LIMIT 1
It doesn't make sense to say 'first row' or 'last row' unless you have an ORDER BY
clause. Assuming you add an ORDER BY
clause then you can use LIMIT in the following ways:
LIMIT 1
.LIMIT 1, 1
.LIMIT 1
.I have the same problem with the select2
in bootstrap modal
, and the solution was to remove the overflow-y: auto;
and overflow: hidden
; from .modal-open
and .modal classes
Here is the example of using jQuery
to remove the overflow-y
:
$('.modal').css('overflow-y','visible');
$('.modal').css('overflow','visible');
Using MutationObserver
can act like a callback for the jQuery append
method:
I've explained it in another question, and this time I will only give example for modern browsers:
// Somewhere in your app:
var observeDOM = (() => {
var MutationObserver = window.MutationObserver || window.WebKitMutationObserver;
return function(obj, callback){
if( MutationObserver ){
// define a new observer
var obs = new MutationObserver(function(mutations, observer){
if( mutations[0].addedNodes.length || mutations[0].removedNodes.length )
callback(mutations);
});
// have the observer observe foo for changes in children
obs.observe( obj, { childList:true, subtree:true });
return obs;
}
}
})();
//////////////////
// Your code:
// setup the DOM observer (on the appended content's parent) before appending anything
observeDOM( document.body, ()=>{
// something was added/removed
}).disconnect(); // don't listen to any more changes
// append something
$('body').append('<p>foo</p>');
Better to use a HashSet
than an ArrayList
when you are checking for existence of a value.
Java docs for HashSet
says: "This class offers constant time performance for the basic operations (add, remove, contains and size)"
ArrayList.contains()
might have to iterate the whole list to find the instance you are looking for.
To get instance classname:
type(instance).__name__
or
instance.__class__.__name__
both are the same
Short list of some of the major differences:
bool
, true
and false
, Objective-C uses BOOL
, YES
and NO
.void*
and nullptr
, Objective-C prefers id
and nil
.SEL
) as an approximate equivalent to function pointers.nil
, unlike C++ which will crash if you try to call a member function of nullptr
self
, and allows class initialisers (similar to constructors) to return a completely different class if desired. Contrast to C++, where if you create a new instance of a class (either implicitly on the stack, or explicitly through new
) it is guaranteed to be of the type you originally specified.int foo (void)
and int foo (int)
define an implicit overload of the method foo
, but to achieve the same in Objective-C requires the explicit overloads - (int) foo
and - (int) foo:(int) intParam
. This is due to Objective-C's named parameters being functionally equivalent to C++'s name mangling.alloc
message, or implicitly in an appropriate factory method).In my opinion, probably the biggest difference is the syntax. You can achieve essentially the same things in either language, but in my opinion the C++ syntax is simpler while some of Objective-C's features make certain tasks (such as GUI design) easier thanks to dynamic dispatch.
Probably plenty of other things too that I've missed, I'll update with any other things I think of. Other than that, can highly recommend the guide LiraNuna pointed you to. Incidentally, another site of interest might be this.
I should also point out that I'm just starting learning Objective-C myself, and as such a lot of the above may not quite be correct or complete - I apologise if that's the case, and welcome suggestions for improvement.
EDIT: updated to address the points raised in the following comments, added a few more items to the list.
No such file or directory
can be also raised if you are trying to put a file argument to Popen
with double-quotes.
For example:
call_args = ['mv', '"path/to/file with spaces.txt"', 'somewhere']
In this case, you need to remove double-quotes.
call_args = ['mv', 'path/to/file with spaces.txt', 'somewhere']
i couldn't change the permissions on the sharepoint i'm using but got a round it by uploading .url files with the drag and drop multiple files uploader.
Using the normal upload didn't work because they are intepreted by the file open dialog when you try to open them singly so it just tries to open the target not the .url file.
.url files can be made by saving a favourite with internet exploiter.
Write up a suitable regular expression and validate it against that. The JVM have full support for regular expressions.
Here is the exact solution, which worked in my case:
On IE 7 or higher on Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must set the Protected Mode settings for each zone to be the same value. The value can be on or off, as long as it is the same for every zone. To set the Protected Mode settings, choose "Internet Options..." from the Tools menu, and click on the Security tab. For each zone, there will be a check box at the bottom of the tab labeled "Enable Protected Mode". Additionally, "Enhanced Protected Mode" must be disabled for IE 10 and higher. This option is found in the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialog.

EDIT: The correct way to do this is in @LiviuT's answer!
You can always extend Angular's scope to allow you to remove such listeners like so:
//A little hack to add an $off() method to $scopes.
(function () {
var injector = angular.injector(['ng']),
rootScope = injector.get('$rootScope');
rootScope.constructor.prototype.$off = function(eventName, fn) {
if(this.$$listeners) {
var eventArr = this.$$listeners[eventName];
if(eventArr) {
for(var i = 0; i < eventArr.length; i++) {
if(eventArr[i] === fn) {
eventArr.splice(i, 1);
}
}
}
}
}
}());
And here's how it would work:
function myEvent() {
alert('test');
}
$scope.$on('test', myEvent);
$scope.$broadcast('test');
$scope.$off('test', myEvent);
$scope.$broadcast('test');
There is an actual Python extension for Visual Studio: http://pytools.codeplex.com/. It's absolutely fantastic. It feels the same as if I were coding in any native Visual Studio language. The extension is even compatabile with Django. And best of all: it's totally free. Even for Visual Studio, it only requires the Visual Studio Shell to work, which is completely free.

Just for sake of completion, you can also do this:
array = []
array += [valueToBeInserted]
If it's a list of strings, this will also work:
array += 'string'

// When the user changes a field on this page, set our is_dirty flag.
is_dirty = true;
}
});
$('a').mousedown(function(e) {
if(is_dirty) {
// if the user navigates away from this page via an anchor link,
// popup a new boxy confirmation.
answer = Boxy.confirm("You have made some changes which you might want to save.");
}
});
window.onbeforeunload = function() {
if((is_dirty)&&(!answer)){
// call this if the box wasn't shown.
return 'You have made some changes which you might want to save.';
}
};
You could attach to another event, and filter more on what kind of anchor was clicked, but this works for me and what I want to do and serves as an example for others to use or improve. Thought I would share this for those wanting this solution.
I have cut out code, so this may not work as is.
I have python 3.5 with anaconda. First I tried everything given above but it did not work for me on windows 10 64bit. So I simply tried:-
If you just have one version, then type in cmd:
C:/>conda install tensorflow
for multiple versions of python, type in cmd:
C:/>conda install tensorflow python=version(e.g.python=3.5)
It works, just give it a try.
After installation open ipython console and import tensorflow:
import tensorflow
If tensorflow installed properly then you are ready to go. Enjoy machine learning:-)
This link "Finding All Installed Browsers in Windows XP and Vista – beware 64bit!" may be useful for Windows as suggested by "How to find all the browsers installed on a machine".
The installed web browsers are saved in this registry,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\StartMenuInternet
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Clients\StartMenuInternet.
And this is a Kotlin version:
editText.setOnEditorActionListener { v, actionId, event ->
if(actionId == EditorInfo.IME_ACTION_DONE){
//Put your action there
true
} else {
false
}
}
If you use Babel, you can already use the optional chaining syntax with @babel/plugin-proposal-optional-chaining Babel plugin. This would allow you to replace this:
console.log(a && a.b && a.b.c);
with this:
console.log(a?.b?.c);
Use this code
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<shape xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:shape="rectangle" >
<corners
android:bottomLeftRadius="5dp"
android:bottomRightRadius="5dp"
android:radius="0.1dp"
android:topLeftRadius="5dp"
android:topRightRadius="5dp" />
<solid android:color="#Efffff" />
<stroke
android:width="2dp"
android:color="#25aaff" />
</shape>
The DictWriter()
class expects dictionaries for each row. If all you wanted to do was write an initial header, use a regular csv.writer()
and pass in a simple row for the header:
import csv
with open('combined_file.csv', 'w', newline='') as outcsv:
writer = csv.writer(outcsv)
writer.writerow(["Date", "temperature 1", "Temperature 2"])
with open('t1.csv', 'r', newline='') as incsv:
reader = csv.reader(incsv)
writer.writerows(row + [0.0] for row in reader)
with open('t2.csv', 'r', newline='') as incsv:
reader = csv.reader(incsv)
writer.writerows(row[:1] + [0.0] + row[1:] for row in reader)
The alternative would be to generate dictionaries when copying across your data:
import csv
with open('combined_file.csv', 'w', newline='') as outcsv:
writer = csv.DictWriter(outcsv, fieldnames = ["Date", "temperature 1", "Temperature 2"])
writer.writeheader()
with open('t1.csv', 'r', newline='') as incsv:
reader = csv.reader(incsv)
writer.writerows({'Date': row[0], 'temperature 1': row[1], 'temperature 2': 0.0} for row in reader)
with open('t2.csv', 'r', newline='') as incsv:
reader = csv.reader(incsv)
writer.writerows({'Date': row[0], 'temperature 1': 0.0, 'temperature 2': row[1]} for row in reader)
Both methods achieve the same purpose, to forego unnecessary db queries. But they use different approaches for efficiency.
The only reason to use either of these methods is when a single large query is preferable to many small queries. Django uses the large query to create models in memory preemptively rather than performing on demand queries against the database.
select_related
performs a join with each lookup, but extends the select to include the columns of all joined tables. However this approach has a caveat.
Joins have the potential to multiply the number of rows in a query. When you perform a join over a foreign key or one-to-one field, the number of rows won't increase. However, many-to-many joins do not have this guarantee. So, Django restricts select_related
to relations that won't unexpectedly result in a massive join.
The "join in python" for prefetch_related
is a little more alarming then it should be. It creates a separate query for each table to be joined. It filters each of these table with a WHERE IN clause, like:
SELECT "credential"."id",
"credential"."uuid",
"credential"."identity_id"
FROM "credential"
WHERE "credential"."identity_id" IN
(84706, 48746, 871441, 84713, 76492, 84621, 51472);
Rather than performing a single join with potentially too many rows, each table is split into a separate query.
If you're using a Mac:
Start up Terminal Type "cd ~/" to go to your home folder
Type "touch .bash_profile" to create your new file.
Edit .bash_profile with your favorite editor (or you can just type "open -e .bash_profile" to open it in TextEdit).
Copy & Paste the below into the file:
function lazygit() { git add . git commit -a -m "$1" git push }
After this, restart your terminal and simply add, commit and push in one easy command, example:
lazygit "This is my commit message"
You may also use the defer
attribute in the script
tag.
As long as you do not specify async
which would of course not be useful for your aim.
Example:
<script src="//other-domain.com/script.js" defer></script>
<script src="myscript.js" defer></script>
As described here:
In the above example, the browser will download both scripts in parallel and execute them just before DOMContentLoaded fires, maintaining their order.
[...] deferred scripts should run after the document had parsed, in the order they were added [...]
Related Stackoverflow discussions: How exactly does <script defer=“defer”>
work?
Just because you're not wrapping the entire request body in JSON, doesn't meant it's not RESTful to use multipart/form-data
to post both the JSON and the file(s) in a single request:
curl -F "metadata=<metadata.json" -F "[email protected]" http://example.com/add-file
on the server side:
class AddFileResource(Resource):
def render_POST(self, request):
metadata = json.loads(request.args['metadata'][0])
file_body = request.args['file'][0]
...
to upload multiple files, it's possible to either use separate "form fields" for each:
curl -F "metadata=<metadata.json" -F "[email protected]" -F "[email protected]" http://example.com/add-file
...in which case the server code will have request.args['file1'][0]
and request.args['file2'][0]
or reuse the same one for many:
curl -F "metadata=<metadata.json" -F "[email protected]" -F "[email protected]" http://example.com/add-file
...in which case request.args['files']
will simply be a list of length 2.
or pass multiple files through a single field:
curl -F "metadata=<metadata.json" -F "[email protected],some-other-file.tar.gz" http://example.com/add-file
...in which case request.args['files']
will be a string containing all the files, which you'll have to parse yourself — not sure how to do it, but I'm sure it's not difficult, or better just use the previous approaches.
The difference between @
and <
is that @
causes the file to get attached as a file upload, whereas <
attaches the contents of the file as a text field.
P.S. Just because I'm using curl
as a way to generate the POST
requests doesn't mean the exact same HTTP requests couldn't be sent from a programming language such as Python or using any sufficiently capable tool.
The Base64.Encoder.encodeToString method automatically uses the ISO-8859-1 character set.
For an encryption utility I am writing, I took the input string of cipher text and Base64 encoded it for transmission, then reversed the process. Relevant parts shown below. NOTE: My file.encoding property is set to ISO-8859-1 upon invocation of the JVM so that may also have a bearing.
static String getBase64EncodedCipherText(String cipherText) {
byte[] cText = cipherText.getBytes();
// return an ISO-8859-1 encoded String
return Base64.getEncoder().encodeToString(cText);
}
static String getBase64DecodedCipherText(String encodedCipherText) throws IOException {
return new String((Base64.getDecoder().decode(encodedCipherText)));
}
public static void main(String[] args) {
try {
String cText = getRawCipherText(null, "Hello World of Encryption...");
System.out.println("Text to encrypt/encode: Hello World of Encryption...");
// This output is a simple sanity check to display that the text
// has indeed been converted to a cipher text which
// is unreadable by all but the most intelligent of programmers.
// It is absolutely inhuman of me to do such a thing, but I am a
// rebel and cannot be trusted in any way. Please look away.
System.out.println("RAW CIPHER TEXT: " + cText);
cText = getBase64EncodedCipherText(cText);
System.out.println("BASE64 ENCODED: " + cText);
// There he goes again!!
System.out.println("BASE64 DECODED: " + getBase64DecodedCipherText(cText));
System.out.println("DECODED CIPHER TEXT: " + decodeRawCipherText(null, getBase64DecodedCipherText(cText)));
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
The output looks like:
Text to encrypt/encode: Hello World of Encryption...
RAW CIPHER TEXT: q$;?C?l??<8??U???X[7l
BASE64 ENCODED: HnEPJDuhQ+qDbInUCzw4gx0VDqtVwef+WFs3bA==
BASE64 DECODED: q$;?C?l??<8??U???X[7l``
DECODED CIPHER TEXT: Hello World of Encryption...
In my case, problem was due to low disk space. I want to mention it for other users like me :)
Use an extension method instead:
public static class ExtensionMethods
{
public static int IntValue(this Enum argEnum)
{
return Convert.ToInt32(argEnum);
}
}
And the usage is slightly prettier:
var intValue = Question.Role.IntValue();
Lucky discovery
if objFolderItem
is Nothing when you call
objFolder.GetDetailsOf(objFolderItem, i)
the string returned is the name of the property, rather than its (undefined) value
e.g. when i=3
it returns "Date modified"
Doing it for all 288 values of I makes it clear why most cause it to return blank for most filetypes
e.g i=175
is "Horizontal resolution"
There is a way to redirect JVM thread dump output on break signal to separate file with LogVMOutput diagnostic option:
-XX:+UnlockDiagnosticVMOptions -XX:+LogVMOutput -XX:LogFile=jvm.log
I have a simpler solution. In your destination page (irc_online.php) add an auto-refresh tag in the header.
For those who do want owin to start, <add key="owin:AutomaticAppStartup" value="false" />
won't work, but the following worked for me.
if you have a partial class "Startup" in your Startup.Auth file, create another partial Startup class in the root of your project.
define an assembly owinstartup attribute pointing to that class
create a "Configuration" method
rebuild your application
You could also create the "Configuration" method, and add the assembly attribute to the Startup.Auth, but doing it this way allows you to keep your Startup class separated by leveraging C# class definition splitting. Read more here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/csharp/programming-guide/classes-and-structs/partial-classes-and-methods
This is what my Startup.cs file looked like:
using Microsoft.Owin;
using Owin;
[assembly: OwinStartupAttribute(typeof(ProjectNameSpace.Startup))]
namespace ProjectNameSpace
{
public partial class Startup
{
public void Configuration(IAppBuilder app)
{
ConfigureAuth(app);
}
}
}
Wow!!! 9 years of question but I've just come across a series of internal article on Windows Command Line history and I think some part of it might be relevant Windows side of the question:
For those who care about such things: Many have asked whether Windows is written in C or C++. The answer is that - despite NT's Object-Based design - like most OS', Windows is almost entirely written in 'C'. Why? C++ introduces a cost in terms of memory footprint, and code execution overhead. Even today, the hidden costs of code written in C++ can be surprising, but back in the late 1990's, when memory cost ~$60/MB (yes … $60 per MEGABYTE!), the hidden memory cost of vtables etc. was significant. In addition, the cost of virtual-method call indirection and object-dereferencing could result in very significant performance & scale penalties for C++ code at that time. While one still needs to be careful, the performance overhead of modern C++ on modern computers is much less of a concern, and is often an acceptable trade-off considering its security, readability, and maintainability benefits ... which is why we're steadily upgrading the Console’s code to modern C++.
xrange()
will not work for 3.x.
numpy.random.randint().tolist()
is a great alternative for integers in a specified interval:
#[In]:
import numpy as np
np.random.seed(123) #option for reproducibility
np.random.randint(low=0, high=100, size=10).tolist()
#[Out:]
[66, 92, 98, 17, 83, 57, 86, 97, 96, 47]
You also have np.random.uniform()
for floats:
#[In]:
np.random.uniform(low=0, high=100, size=10).tolist()
#[Out]:
[69.64691855978616,
28.613933495037948,
22.68514535642031,
55.13147690828912,
71.94689697855631,
42.3106460124461,
98.07641983846155,
68.48297385848633,
48.09319014843609,
39.211751819415056]
One correct answer is:
/a/b/*[self::c or self::d or self::e]
Do note that this
a/b/*[local-name()='c' or local-name()='d' or local-name()='e']
is both too-long and incorrect. This XPath expression will select nodes like:
OhMy:c
NotWanted:d
QuiteDifferent:e
This worked like magic for me.
celltype_hesc_bool = expr['cell_type'] == 'hesc'
expr_celltype_hesc = expr[celltype_hesc]
You could just use the bound ng-model
(answers[item.questID]
) value itself in your ng-change method to detect if it has been checked or not.
Example:-
<input type="checkbox" ng-model="answers[item.questID]"
ng-change="stateChanged(item.questID)" /> <!-- Pass the specific id -->
and
$scope.stateChanged = function (qId) {
if($scope.answers[qId]){ //If it is checked
alert('test');
}
}
I also met the same problem. I used @JsonIdentityInfo
's ObjectIdGenerators.PropertyGenerator.class
generator type.
That's my solution:
@Entity
@Table(name = "ta_trainee", uniqueConstraints = {@UniqueConstraint(columnNames = {"id"})})
@JsonIdentityInfo(generator = ObjectIdGenerators.PropertyGenerator.class, property = "id")
public class Trainee extends BusinessObject {
...
The only way that i know of is to test for it, you can do a combined if though to make it easy.
If NOT IsDbNull(myItem("sID")) AndAlso myItem("sID") = sId Then
'Do success
ELSE
'Failure
End If
I wrote in VB as that is what it looks like you need, even though you mixed languages.
Edit
Cleaned up to use IsDbNull to make it more readable
Use:
SELECT *
FROM YOUR_TABLE
WHERE creation_date <= TRUNC(SYSDATE) - 30
SYSDATE returns the date & time; TRUNC resets the date to being as of midnight so you can omit it if you want the creation_date
that is 30 days previous including the current time.
Depending on your needs, you could also look at using ADD_MONTHS:
SELECT *
FROM YOUR_TABLE
WHERE creation_date <= ADD_MONTHS(TRUNC(SYSDATE), -1)
As I understand you want to empty your array
as you press your back button and pop to your previous ViewController let
your Array
which you loaded on this screen is
let settingArray = NSMutableArray()
@IBAction func Back(sender: AnyObject) {
self. settingArray.removeAllObjects()
self.dismissViewControllerAnimated(true, completion: nil)
}
foreach(PropertyInfo propertyInfo in original.GetType().GetProperties()) {
if (propertyInfo.GetValue(updatedUser, null) == null)
propertyInfo.SetValue(updatedUser, propertyInfo.GetValue(original, null), null);
}
db.Entry(original).CurrentValues.SetValues(updatedUser);
db.SaveChanges();
Multiply by 1.
result = 1. * a / b
or, using the float function
result = float(a) / b
rimraf is an package for simulate linux command [rm -rf] in windows. which is useful for cross platform support. for install its CLI:

I'm using this simple code for this task:
CSS Code
.demo {

color: white;
}
Javascript code
function myFunction() {
/* Assign element to x variable by id */
var x = document.getElementById('para);
if (x.hasAttribute('class') {
x.removeAttribute('class');
} else {
x.setAttribute('class', 'demo');
}
}
What's wrong with
func (e *Easy)SetStringOption(option Option, param string)
func (e *Easy)SetLongOption(option Option, param long)
and so on?
I recommend to use both, prop and attr because I had problems with Chrome and I solved it using both functions.
if ($(':checkbox').is(':checked')){
$(':checkbox').prop('checked', true).attr('checked', 'checked');
}
else {
$(':checkbox').prop('checked', false).removeAttr('checked');
}
Anonymous classes must extend or implement something, like any other Java class, even if it's just java.lang.Object
.
For example:
Runnable r = new Runnable() {
public void run() { ... }
};
Here, r
is an object of an anonymous class which implements Runnable
.
An anonymous class can extend another class using the same syntax:
SomeClass x = new SomeClass() {
...
};
What you can't do is implement more than one interface. You need a named class to do that. Neither an anonymous inner class, nor a named class, however, can extend more than one class.
I came across a similar need this morning: how to convert a relative path into an absolute path inside a Windows command script.
The following did the trick:
@echo off
set REL_PATH=..\..\
set ABS_PATH=
rem // Save current directory and change to target directory
pushd %REL_PATH%
rem // Save value of CD variable (current directory)
set ABS_PATH=%CD%
rem // Restore original directory
popd
echo Relative path: %REL_PATH%
echo Maps to path: %ABS_PATH%
The steps mentioned by Jason are very good and should work. There is a little twist with SQL Developer, though. It caches the connection specifications (host, service name, port) the first time it reads the tnsnames.ora file. Then, it does not invalidate the specs when the original entry is removed from the tnsname.ora file. The cache persists even after SQL Developer has been terminated and restarted. This is not such an illogical way of handling the situation. Even if a tnsnames.ora file is temporarily unavailable, SQL Developer can still make the connection as long as the original specifications are still true. The problem comes with their next little twist. SQL Developer treats service names in the tnsnames.ora file as case-sensitive values when resolving the connection. So if you used to have an entry name ABCD.world in the file and you replaced it with an new entry named abcd.world, SQL Developer would NOT update its connection specs for ABCD.world - it will treat abcd.world as a different connection altogether. Why am I not surprised that an Oracle product would treat as case-sensitive the contents of an oracle-developed file format that is expressly case-insensitive?
Amazon EC2 cannot offer Mac OS X EC2 instances due to Apple's tight licensing to only allow it to legally run on Apple hardware and the current EC2 infrastructure relies upon virtualized hardware.
Apple Mac image on Amazon EC2?
Can you run OS X on an Amazon EC2 instance?
There are other companies that do provide Mac OS X hosting, presumably on Apple hardware. One example is Go Daddy:
Go Daddy Product Catalog (see Mac® Powered Cloud Servers under Web Hosting)
To find more, search for "Mac OS X hosting" and you'll find more options.
reload: true
?Couldn't figure out what was going on for the longest time -- turns out I was fooling myself. If you're certain that things are written correctly and you will to use the same state, try reload: true
:
.state('status.item', {
url: '/:id',
views: {...}
}
$state.go('status.item', { id: $scope.id }, { reload: true });
Hope this saves you time!
They don't convert directly, but it allows for interoperability between .NET and J2EE.
This is my answer in Swift 4.1 and Xcode 9.4.1
//This is your label
let proNameLbl = UILabel(frame: CGRect(x: 0, y: 20, width: 300, height: height))
proNameLbl.text = "This is your text"
proNameLbl.font = UIFont.systemFont(ofSize: 17)
proNameLbl.numberOfLines = 0
proNameLbl.lineBreakMode = .byWordWrapping
infoView.addSubview(proNameLbl)
//Function to calculate height for label based on text
func heightForView(text:String, font:UIFont, width:CGFloat) -> CGFloat {
let label:UILabel = UILabel(frame: CGRect(x: 0, y: 0, width: width, height: CGFloat.greatestFiniteMagnitude))
label.numberOfLines = 0
label.lineBreakMode = NSLineBreakMode.byWordWrapping
label.font = font
label.text = text
label.sizeToFit()
return label.frame.height
}
Now you call this function
//Call this function
let height = heightForView(text: "This is your text", font: UIFont.systemFont(ofSize: 17), width: 300)
print(height)//Output : 41.0
You can use jQuery’s show()
and hide()
methods. Like below:
JQuery:
$(document).ready(function(){
$('input[type="radio"]').click(function(){
var val = $(this).attr("value");
var target = $("." + val);
$(".msg").not(target).hide();
$(target).show();
});
});
HTML:
<input type="radio" name="color" value="yellow"> Yellow
<input type="radio" name="color" value="red"> Red
<input type="radio" name="color" value="green"> Green
<div class="yellow msg">You have selected Yellow</div>
<div class="red msg">You have selected Red</div>
<div class="green msg">You have selected Green</div>
Here is an example: Show/hide DIV based on Radio Button click
You are not returning a response object from your view my_form_post
. The function ends with implicit return None
, which Flask does not like.
Make the function my_form_post
return an explicit response, for example
return 'OK'
at the end of the function.
The suggested answer by Loïc MICHEL blindly writes a new value to the TrustedHosts entry.
I believe, a better way would be to first query TrustedHosts.
As Jeffery Hicks posted in 2010, first query the TrustedHosts entry:
PS C:\> $current=(get-item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts).value
PS C:\> $current+=",testdsk23,alpha123"
PS C:\> set-item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts –value $current
If you don't wish to use compact on close (eg, because the front-end mdb is a robot program that runs continually), and you don't want to create a separate mdb just for compacting, consider using a cmd file.
I let my robot.mdb check its own size:
FileLen(CurrentDb.Name))
If its size exceeds 1 GB, it creates a cmd file like this ...
Dim f As Integer
Dim Folder As String
Dim Access As String
'select Access in the correct PF directory (my robot.mdb runs in 32-bit MSAccess, on 32-bit and 64-bit machines)
If Dir("C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE") > "" Then
Access = """C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"""
Else
Access = """C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"""
End If
Folder = ExtractFileDir(CurrentDb.Name)
f = FreeFile
Open Folder & "comrep.cmd" For Output As f
'wait until robot.mdb closes (ldb file is gone), then compact robot.mdb
Print #f, ":checkldb1"
Print #f, "if exist " & Folder & "robot.ldb goto checkldb1"
Print #f, Access & " " & Folder & "robot.mdb /compact"
'wait until the robot mdb closes, then start it
Print #f, ":checkldb2"
Print #f, "if exist " & Folder & "robot.ldb goto checkldb2"
Print #f, Access & " " & Folder & "robot.mdb"
Close f
... launches the cmd file ...
Shell ExtractFileDir(CurrentDb.Name) & "comrep.cmd"
... and shuts down ...
DoCmd.Quit
Next, the cmd file compacts and restarts robot.mdb.

An object file is just what you get when you compile one (or several) source file(s).
It can be either a fully completed executable or library, or intermediate files.
The object files typically contain native code, linker information, debugging symbols and so forth.
You must reference it. To do this, open the shortcut menu for the project in Solution Explorer, and then choose References. In the Property Pages dialog box, expand the Common Properties node, select Framework and References, and then choose the Add New Reference button.
General rule is that you want packages from require-dev section only in development (dev) environments, for example local environment.
Packages in require-dev section are packages which help you debug app, run tests etc.
At staging and production environment you probably want only packages from require section.
But anyway you can run composer install --no-dev and composer update --no-dev on any environment, command will install only packages from required section not from require-dev, but probably you want to run this only at staging and production environments not on local.
Theoretically you can put all packages in require section and nothing will happened, but you don't want developing packages at production environment because of the following reasons :
Some good candidates for require-dev are :
"filp/whoops": "^2.0",
"fzaninotto/faker": "^1.4",
"mockery/mockery": "^1.0",
"nunomaduro/collision": "^2.0",
"phpunit/phpunit": "^7.0"
you can see what above packages are doing and you will see why you don't need them on production.

Online index rebuilds are less intrusive when it comes to locking tables. Offline rebuilds cause heavy locking of tables which can cause significant blocking issues for things that are trying to access the database while the rebuild takes place.
"Table locks are applied for the duration of the index operation [during an offline rebuild]. An offline index operation that creates, rebuilds, or drops a clustered, spatial, or XML index, or rebuilds or drops a nonclustered index, acquires a Schema modification (Sch-M) lock on the table. This prevents all user access to the underlying table for the duration of the operation. An offline index operation that creates a nonclustered index acquires a Shared (S) lock on the table. This prevents updates to the underlying table but allows read operations, such as SELECT statements."
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms188388(v=sql.110).aspx
Additionally online index rebuilds are a enterprise (or developer) version only feature.
In June 2018, in an effort to raise security and comply with modern standards, the insecure TLS 1.0 & 1.1 protocols will no longer be supported for SSL connections to Central. This should only affect users of Java 6 (and Java 7) that are also using https to access central, which by our metrics is less than .2% of users.
For more details and workarounds, see the blog and faq here: https://blog.sonatype.com/enhancing-ssl-security-and-http/2-support-for-central
Consider a similar situation in conversation. Imagine your friend says to you, "Bob is coming over for dinner," and you have no idea who Bob is. You're going to be confused, right? Your friend should have said, "I have a work colleague called Bob. Bob is coming over for dinner." Now Bob has been declared and you know who your friend is talking about.
The compiler emits an 'undeclared identifier' error when you have attempted to use some identifier (what would be the name of a function, variable, class, etc.) and the compiler has not seen a declaration for it. That is, the compiler has no idea what you are referring to because it hasn't seen it before.
If you get such an error in C or C++, it means that you haven't told the compiler about the thing you are trying to use. Declarations are often found in header files, so it likely means that you haven't included the appropriate header. Of course, it may be that you just haven't remembered to declare the entity at all.
Some compilers give more specific errors depending on the context. For example, attempting to compile X x;
where the type X
has not been declared with clang will tell you "unknown type name X
". This is much more useful because you know it's trying to interpret X
as a type. However, if you have int x = y;
, where y
is not yet declared, it will tell you "use of undeclared identifier y
" because there is some ambiguity about what exactly y
might represent.
I had problems closing the bootstrap modal dialog, if it was opened with:
$('#myModal').modal('show');
I solved this problem opening the dialog by the following link:
<a href="#myModal" data-toggle="modal">Open my dialog</a>
Do not forget the initialization:
$('#myModal').modal({show: false});
I also used the following attributes for the closing button:
data-dismiss="modal" data-target="#myModal"
ok, so my problem was that I tried to install the package with yum which is the primary tool for getting, installing, deleting, querying, and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux RPM software packages from official Red Hat software repositories, as well as other third-party repositories.
But I'm using ubuntu and The usual way to install packages on the command line in Ubuntu is with apt-get. so the right command was:
sudo apt-get install libstdc++.i686
Yes, it is possible:
git clone https://github.com/pitosalas/st3_packages Packages
You can specify the local root directory when using git clone.
<directory>
The name of a new directory to clone into.
The "humanish" part of the source repository is used if no directory is explicitly given (repo
for/path/to/repo.git
andfoo
forhost.xz:foo/.git
).
Cloning into an existing directory is only allowed if the directory is empty.
As Chris comments, you can then rename that top directory.
Git only cares about the .git
within said top folder, which you can get with various commands:
git rev-parse --show-toplevel git rev-parse --git-dir
@Entity
public class ABC implements Serializable {
@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy=GenerationType.IDENTITY)
private int id;
}
check that @GeneratedValue notation is there in your entity class.This tells JPA about your entity property auto-generated behavior
The new kid on the block here is LearnBoost's "Up".
It provides "Zero-downtime reloads" and additionally creates multiple workers (by default the number of CPUs, but it is configurable) to provide the best of all Worlds.
It is new, but seems to be pretty stable, and I'm using it happily in one of my current projects.
add "distinct" after "select".
select distinct a.FirstName, a.LastName, v.District , v.LastName
from AddTbl a
inner join ValTbl v where a.LastName = v.LastName order by Firstname
why not just backup the data before your work with it, then restore when you want it to be refreshed?
if you must generate inserts try: http://vyaskn.tripod.com/code.htm#inserts
Assume B and C are overriding inherited method and their own implementation. Now D inherits both B & C using multiple inheritance. D should inherit the overridden method.The Question is which overridden method will be used? Will it be from B or C? Here we have an ambiguity. To exclude such situation multiple inheritance was not used in Java.
If you wanna update a table with that DateTime, you can use your SQL string like this example:
int fieldId;
DateTime myDateTime = DateTime.Now
string sql = string.Format(@"UPDATE TableName SET DateFieldName='{0}' WHERE FieldID={1}", myDateTime.ToString("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss"), fieldId.ToString());
var
variables still have a type - and the compiler error message says this type must be established during the declaration.
The specific request (assigning an initial null value) can be done, but I don't recommend it. It doesn't provide an advantage here (as the type must still be specified) and it could be viewed as making the code less readable:
var x = (String)null;
Which is still "type inferred" and equivalent to:
String x = null;
The compiler will not accept var x = null
because it doesn't associate the null with any type - not even Object. Using the above approach, var x = (Object)null
would "work" although it is of questionable usefulness.
Generally, when I can't use var
's type inference correctly then
The second approach can be done by moving code into methods or functions.
For Mac users, open up the Network Utility (You can find this by typing cmd + space which will open spotlight and then in spotlight start typing Network Utility). Select Network Utility, when it's open, your IP address will be found next to the label IP Address. So basically with the IP, you can get into any open ports on your local mac e.g. if your website is running locally on localhost:3000 and your ip address is 154.31.92.0 then from your phone you can get the website simply by typing 154.31.92.0:3000 into a browser.
PS- This only works if both phone and computer are on the same network
Run As > Java Application
wont show up if the class that you want to run does not contain the main
method. Make sure that the class you trying to run has main
defined in it.
There is a simple way to find the date from any birthdate by using substr of PHP
$birth_date = '15.03.2014';
$date = substr($birth_date, 0, 2);
echo $date;
Which will just simply give you the output date of that birth date.
In this case, that will be 15.
See substr of PHP for more...
I've found a temporary solution that will at least let me process this job. I wrote a short AutoIt script that waits for the "Update Links" window to appear, then clicks the "Don't Update" button. Code is as follows:
while 1
if winexists("Microsoft Excel","This workbook contains links to other data sources.") Then
controlclick("Microsoft Excel","This workbook contains links to other data sources.",2)
EndIf
WEnd
So far this seems to be working. I'd really like to find a solution that's entirely VBA, however, so that I can make this a standalone application.
The SetEnv.cmd
script that the "SDK command prompt" shortcut runs checks for cl.exe
in various places before setting up entries to add to PATH
. So it fails to add anything if a native C compiler is not installed.
To fix that, apply the following patch to <SDK install dir>\Bin\SetEnv.cmd
. This will also fix missing paths to other tools located in <SDK install dir>\Bin
and subfolders. Of course, you can install the C compiler instead to work around this bug.

I use Reply-To:
address with webforms. when someone fills out the form, the webpage sends an automatic email to the page's owner. the From:
is the automatic mail sender's address, so the owner knows it is from the webform. but the Reply-To:
address is the one filled in in the form by the user, so the owner can just hit reply to contact them.
You can use model class and use setTag() getTag() methods to keep track which items from listview are checked and which not.
More reference for this : listview with checkbox in android
Source code for model
public class Model {
private boolean isSelected;
private String animal;
public String getAnimal() {

public void setSelected(boolean selected) {

I used inline styles for this sample but you can easily place these in a stylesheet and reference the class or id.
If you want to selectively remove links without having to copy/edit entire xml files, a nice solution can be found in this post in the magento forums
In this solution, you override the Mage_Customer_Block_Account_Navigation
block with a local version, that adds a removeLinkByName
method, which you then use in your layout.xml
files, like so:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<layout version="0.1.0">
<customer_account>
<reference name="customer_account_navigation" >
<!-- remove the link using your custom method -->
<action method="removeLinkByName">
<name>recurring_profiles</name>
</action>
<action method="removeLinkByName">
<name>billing_agreements</name>
</action>
</reference>
</customer_account>
</layout>
Call the materialize css jquery code only after the html has rendered. So you can have a controller and then fire a service which calls the jquery code in the controller. This will render the select button alright. How ever if you try to use ngChange or ngSubmit it may not work due to the dynamic styling of the select tag.
This code works for me:
Sub test()
Dim myRange As Range
Dim NumRows As Integer
Set myRange = Range("A:A")
NumRows = Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(myRange)
MsgBox NumRows
End Sub
Use the quotemeta
function:
$text_to_search = "example text with [foo] and more";
$search_string = quotemeta "[foo]";
print "wee" if ($text_to_search =~ /$search_string/);
Use the square bracket syntax:
if (!empty($row["title"])) {
$catList[$row["datasource_id"]] = $row["title"];
}
$row["datasource_id"]
is the key for where the value of $row["title"]
is stored in.
Generally if something works on various computers but fails on only one computer, then there's something wrong with that computer. Here are a few things to check:
(1) Are you running the same stuff on that computer -- OS including patches, etc.
(2) Does the computer report problems? Where to look depends on the OS, but it looks like you're using linux, so check syslog
(3) Run hardware diagnostics, e.g. the ones recommended here. Start with memory and disk checks in particular.
If you can't turn up any issues, then search for a similar issue in the bug parade for whichever VM you're using. Unfortunately if you're already on the latest version of the VM, then you won't necessarily find a fix.
Finally, one more option is simply to try another VM -- e.g. OpenJDK or JRockit, instead of Oracle's standard.
Generally, this is how you open an OS folder containing a bunch of vdmk files on VMware Player.
I solved this with selector. I do not initialize the datetime picker on inputs which are readonly.
$('[type=datetime]:not([readonly])').datetimepicker();
I know I'm late for the party, but I'd like to share my solution which is variation of Imagine Breaker's solution above. I tried to use his solution, because his solution seems most simple and easy to me. But like other said, it didn't work for some browsers, so I put some variation on it by using jquery.
Hope this could help someone out there.
function download(url) {
var link = document.createElement("a");
$(link).click(function(e) {
e.preventDefault();
window.location.href = url;
});
$(link).click();
}
You can still use console.log(), but it gets logged into a separate console. In order to view it - right click on the extension icon and select "Inspect popup".
you need to import the function so the program know what that is here is example:
import os
import pyttsx3
i had the same problem first then i import the function and it work so i would really recommend to try it
Those look much like Bonjour / mDNS requests to me. Those packets use multicast IP address 224.0.0.251 and port 5353.
The most likely source for this is Apple iTunes, which comes pre-installed on Mac computers (and is a popular install on Windows machines as well). Apple iTunes uses it to discover other iTunes-compatible devices in the same WiFi network.
mDNS is also used (primarily by Apple's Mac and iOS devices) to discover mDNS-compatible devices such as printers on the same network.
If this is a Linux box instead, it's probably the Avahi daemon then. Avahi is ZeroConf/Bonjour compatible and installed by default, but if you don't use DNS-SD or mDNS, it can be disabled.

if p == 0:
main()
os._exit()
try:
os.waitpid(p, 0)
except (KeyboardInterrupt, SystemExit):
print('exit handled')
os.kill(p, 15)
os.waitpid(p, 0)
To receive the new commits
git fetch
Reset
You can reset the commit for a local branch using git reset
.
To change the commit of a local branch:
git reset origin/master --hard
Be careful though, as the documentation puts it:
Resets the index and working tree. Any changes to tracked files in the working tree since <commit> are discarded.
If you want to actually keep whatever changes you've got locally - do a --soft
reset instead. Which will update the commit history for the branch, but not change any files in the working directory (and you can then commit them).
Rebase
You can replay your local commits on top of any other commit/branch using git rebase
:
git rebase -i origin/master
This will invoke rebase in interactive mode where you can choose how to apply each individual commit that isn't in the history you are rebasing on top of.
If the commits you removed (with git push -f
) have already been pulled into the local history, they will be listed as commits that will be reapplied - they would need to be deleted as part of the rebase or they will simply be re-included into the history for the branch - and reappear in the remote history on the next push.
Use the help git command --help

BTW: Converting is highly important if you are serialized, mainly because the de-serialization breaks the type of objects and turns into stdclass, including DateTime objects.
I updated the example of @Jadrovski, now it allows objects and arrays.
example
$stdobj=new StdClass();
$stdobj->field=20;
$obj=new SomeClass();
fixCast($obj,$stdobj);
example array
$stdobjArr=array(new StdClass(),new StdClass());
$obj=array();
$obj[0]=new SomeClass(); // at least the first object should indicates the right class.
fixCast($obj,$stdobj);
code: (its recursive). However, i don't know if its recursive with arrays. May be its missing an extra is_array
public static function fixCast(&$destination,$source)
{
if (is_array($source)) {
$getClass=get_class($destination[0]);
$array=array();
foreach($source as $sourceItem) {
$obj = new $getClass();
fixCast($obj,$sourceItem);
$array[]=$obj;
}
$destination=$array;
} else {
$sourceReflection = new \ReflectionObject($source);
$sourceProperties = $sourceReflection->getProperties();
foreach ($sourceProperties as $sourceProperty) {
$name = $sourceProperty->getName();
if (is_object(@$destination->{$name})) {
fixCast($destination->{$name}, $source->$name);
} else {
$destination->{$name} = $source->$name;
}
}
}
}
Using your code:
console.log(arr[1]); // prints: abc
console.log(arr[0]); // prints: format_abc
Edit: Safari 3, if it matters.
You can use the dumpbin tool to find out the required DLL dependencies:
dumpbin /DEPENDENTS my.dll
This will tell you which DLLs your DLL needs to load. Particularly look out for MSVCR*.dll. I have seen your error code occur when the correct Visual C++ Redistributable is not installed.
You can get the "Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013" from the Microsoft website. It installs c:\windows\system32\MSVCR120.dll
In the file name, 120 = 12.0 = Visual Studio 2013.
Be careful that you have the right Visual Studio version (10.0 = VS 10, 11 = VS 2012, 12.0 = VS 2013...) right architecture (x64 or x86) for your DLL's target platform, and also you need to be careful around debug builds. The debug build of a DLL depends on MSVCR120d.dll which is a debug version of the library, which is installed with Visual Studio but not by the Redistributable Package.
Your this
doesn't refer to the element in the step callback, instead you want to keep a reference to it at the beginning of your function (wrapped in $this
in my example):
$('.Count').each(function () {
var $this = $(this);
jQuery({ Counter: 0 }).animate({ Counter: $this.text() }, {
duration: 1000,
easing: 'swing',
step: function () {
$this.text(Math.ceil(this.Counter));
}
});
});
Update: If you want to display decimal numbers, then instead of rounding the value with Math.ceil
you can round up to 2 decimals for instance with value.toFixed(2)
:
step: function () {
$this.text(this.Counter.toFixed(2));
}
Let's start from here, As defined on MDN: Closures are functions that refer to independent (free) variables (variables that are used locally, but defined in an enclosing scope). In other words, these functions 'remember' the environment in which they were created.
Lexical scoping
Consider the following:
function init() {
var name = 'Mozilla'; // name is a local variable created by init
function displayName() { // displayName() is the inner function, a closure
alert(name); // use variable declared in the parent function
}
displayName();
}
init();
init() creates a local variable called name and a function called displayName(). The displayName() function is an inner function that is defined inside init() and is only available within the body of the init() function. The displayName() function has no local variables of its own. However, because inner functions have access to the variables of outer functions, displayName() can access the variable name declared in the parent function, init().
function init() {
var name = "Mozilla"; // name is a local variable created by init
function displayName() { // displayName() is the inner function, a closure
alert (name); // displayName() uses variable declared in the parent function
}
displayName();
}
init();
Run the code and notice that the alert() statement within the displayName() function successfully displays the value of the name variable, which is declared in its parent function. This is an example of lexical scoping, which describes how a parser resolves variable names when functions are nested. The word "lexical" refers to the fact that lexical scoping uses the location where a variable is declared within the source code to determine where that variable is available. Nested functions have access to variables declared in their outer scope.
Closure
Now consider the following example:
function makeFunc() {
var name = 'Mozilla';
function displayName() {
alert(name);
}
return displayName;
}
var myFunc = makeFunc();
myFunc();
Running this code has exactly the same effect as the previous example of the init() function above: this time, the string "Mozilla" will be displayed in a JavaScript alert box. What's different — and interesting — is that the displayName() inner function is returned from the outer function before being executed.
At first glance, it may seem unintuitive that this code still works. In some programming languages, the local variables within a function exist only for the duration of that function's execution. Once makeFunc() has finished executing, you might expect that the name variable would no longer be accessible. However, because the code still works as expected, this is obviously not the case in JavaScript.
The reason is that functions in JavaScript form closures. A closure is the combination of a function and the lexical environment within which that function was declared. This environment consists of any local variables that were in-scope at the time that the closure was created. In this case, myFunc is a reference to the instance of the function displayName created when makeFunc is run. The instance of displayName maintains a reference to its lexical environment, within which the variable name exists. For this reason, when myFunc is invoked, the variable name remains available for use and "Mozilla" is passed to alert.
Here's a slightly more interesting example — a makeAdder function:
function makeAdder(x) {
return function(y) {
return x + y;
};
}
var add5 = makeAdder(5);
var add10 = makeAdder(10);
console.log(add5(2)); // 7
console.log(add10(2)); // 12
In this example, we have defined a function makeAdder(x), which takes a single argument, x, and returns a new function. The function it returns takes a single argument, y, and returns the sum of x and y.
In essence, makeAdder is a function factory — it creates functions which can add a specific value to their argument. In the above example we use our function factory to create two new functions — one that adds 5 to its argument, and one that adds 10.
add5 and add10 are both closures. They share the same function body definition, but store different lexical environments. In add5's lexical environment, x is 5, while in the lexical environment for add10, x is 10.
Practical closures
Closures are useful because they let you associate some data (the lexical environment) with a function that operates on that data. This has obvious parallels to object oriented programming, where objects allow us to associate some data (the object's properties) with one or more methods.
Consequently, you can use a closure anywhere that you might normally use an object with only a single method.
Situations where you might want to do this are particularly common on the web. Much of the code we write in front-end JavaScript is event-based — we define some behavior, then attach it to an event that is triggered by the user (such as a click or a keypress). Our code is generally attached as a callback: a single function which is executed in response to the event.
For instance, suppose we wish to add some buttons to a page that adjust the text size. One way of doing this is to specify the font-size of the body element in pixels, then set the size of the other elements on the page (such as headers) using the relative em unit:
body {
font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
}
h1 {
font-size: 1.5em;
}
h2 {
font-size: 1.2em;
}
Our interactive text size buttons can change the font-size property of the body element, and the adjustments will be picked up by other elements on the page thanks to the relative units. Here's the JavaScript:
function makeSizer(size) {
return function() {
document.body.style.fontSize = size + 'px';
};
}
var size12 = makeSizer(12);
var size14 = makeSizer(14);
var size16 = makeSizer(16);
size12, size14, and size16 are now functions which will resize the body text to 12, 14, and 16 pixels, respectively. We can attach them to buttons (in this case links) as follows:
document.getElementById('size-12').onclick = size12;
document.getElementById('size-14').onclick = size14;
document.getElementById('size-16').onclick = size16;
<a href="#" id="size-12">12</a>
<a href="#" id="size-14">14</a>
<a href="#" id="size-16">16</a>
function makeSizer(size) {
return function() {
document.body.style.fontSize = size + 'px';
};
}
var size12 = makeSizer(12);
var size14 = makeSizer(14);
var size16 = makeSizer(16);
document.getElementById('size-12').onclick = size12;
document.getElementById('size-14').onclick = size14;
document.getElementById('size-16').onclick = size16;

SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 or 2019:
SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES WHERE TABLE_TYPE='BASE TABLE'
To show only tables from a particular database
SELECT TABLE_NAME
FROM [<DATABASE_NAME>].INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES
WHERE TABLE_TYPE = 'BASE TABLE'
Or,
SELECT TABLE_NAME
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES
WHERE TABLE_TYPE = 'BASE TABLE'
AND TABLE_CATALOG='dbName' --(for MySql, use: TABLE_SCHEMA='dbName' )
PS: For SQL Server 2000:
SELECT * FROM sysobjects WHERE xtype='U'
We have only single option left after reading all the fake referrer problems: i.e. The page we desire to track as referrer should be kept in session, and as ajax called then checking in session if it has referrer page value and doing the action other wise no action.
While on the other hand as he request any different page then make the referrer session value to null.
Remember that session variable is set on desire page request only.
There are pretty good solutions here but they don't help to understand why the problem actually happens.
But it's very simple, you just need to understand how logic OR ||
works. Whole expression will evaluate to true
when either of its sides evaluates to true
.
Now let's look at your case. Assume whole details.Payment[0].Status
is Status
and it's a number for brevity. Then we have Status != 0 || Status != 1 || ...
.
Imagine Status = 1
:
( 1 != 0 || 1 != 1 || ... ) =
( true || false || ... ) =
( true || ... ) = ... = true
Now imagine Status = 0
:
( 0 != 0 || 0 != 1 || ... ) =
( false || true || ... ) =
( true || ... ) = ... = true
As you it doesn't even matter what you have as ...
as logical OR
of first two expressions gives you true
which will be the result of the full expression.
What you actually need is logical AND
&&
that will be true only if both its sides are true
.
hashCode()
and equals(..)
using those 4 fieldsnew HashSet<Blog>(blogList)
- this will give you a Set
which has no duplicates by definitionUpdate: Since you can't change the class, here's an O(n^2) solution:
You can make this more efficient if you provide a HashSet
data structure with externalized hashCode()
and equals(..)
methods.
I think you just need 'git show -c $ref'. Trying this on the git repository on a8e4a59 shows a combined diff (plus/minus chars in one of 2 columns). As the git-show manual mentions, it pretty much delegates to 'git diff-tree' so those options look useful.
Use Float.valueOf(String)
to do the conversion.
The difference between valueOf()
and parseFloat()
is only the return. Use the former if you want a Float
(object) and the latter if you want the float
number.
$uploadfile = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/Thesis/images/';
$profic = uniqid(rand()).$_FILES["pic"]["name"];
if(is_uploaded_file($_FILES["pic"]["tmp_name"]))
{
$moved = move_uploaded_file($_FILES["pic"]["tmp_name"], $uploadfile.$profic);
if($moved)
{
echo "sucess";
}
else
{
echo 'failed';
}
}
You can find out what library depends on a wrong version of the support library and exclude it like this:
compile ('com.stripe:stripe-android:5.1.1') {
exclude group: 'com.android.support'
}
stripe-android
in my case.
For all those working with implicit rules (and GNU MAKE). Here is a simple makefile which supports different directories:
#Start of the makefile
VPATH = ./src:./header:./objects
OUTPUT_OPTION = -o objects/$@
CXXFLAGS += -Wall -g -I./header
Target = $(notdir $(CURDIR)).exe
Objects := $(notdir $(patsubst %.cpp,%.o,$(wildcard src/*.cpp)))
all: $(Target)
$(Target): $(Objects)
$(CXX) $(CXXFLAGS) -o $(Target) $(addprefix objects/,$(Objects))
#Beware of -f. It skips any confirmation/errors (e.g. file does not exist)
.PHONY: clean
clean:
rm -f $(addprefix objects/,$(Objects)) $(Target)
Lets have a closer look (I will refer to the current Directory with curdir):
This line is used to get a list of the used .o files which are in curdir/src.
Objects := $(notdir $(patsubst %.cpp,%.o,$(wildcard src/*.cpp)))
#expands to "foo.o myfoo.o otherfoo.o"
Via variable the output is set to a different directory (curdir/objects).
OUTPUT_OPTION = -o objects/$@
#OUTPUT_OPTION will insert the -o flag into the implicit rules
To make sure the compiler finds the objects in the new objects folder, the path is added to the filename.
$(Target): $(Objects)
$(CXX) $(CXXFLAGS) -o $(Target) $(addprefix objects/,$(Objects))
# ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is meant as an example and there is definitly room for improvement.

It's compiled to bytecode which can be used much, much, much faster.
The reason some files aren't compiled is that the main script, which you invoke with python main.py
is recompiled every time you run the script. All imported scripts will be compiled and stored on the disk.
Important addition by Ben Blank:
It's worth noting that while running a compiled script has a faster startup time (as it doesn't need to be compiled), it doesn't run any faster.
Yes, you can run PHP in an HTML page.
I have successfully executed PHP code in my HTML files for many years. (For the curious, this is because I have over 8,000 static HTML files created by me and others over the last 20 years and I didn't want to lose search engine ranking by changing them and, more importantly, I have too many other things to work on).
I am not an expert -- below is what I've tried and what works for me. Please don't ask me to explain it.
Everything below involves adding a line or two to your .htaccess file.
Here is what one host ( http://simolyhosting.net ) support did for me in 2008 -- but it no longer works for me now.
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html .htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .htm .html
That solution appears to be deprecated now, though it might work for you.
Here's what's working for me now:
AddType application/x-httpd-lsphp .htm .html
(This page has PHP code that executes properly with the above solution -- http://mykindred.com/bumstead/steeplehistory.htm )
Below are other solutions I found -- they are NOT MINE:
https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/cant-execute-php-in-html-since-ea4-upgrade.569531
I'm seeing this across many servers I've recently upgraded to EA4. Using cPanel Apache handlers or adding this directly in to .htaccess (same as cPanel does through gui add handlers):
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html
Sep 9, 2016
AddHandler application/x-httpd-ea-php56 .html
Open a text editor such as wordpad, notepad, nano, etc. and add the following line:
AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .html .htm
If you want to use PHP 5.4 instead of PHP 5.2 then use the following line instead:
AddHandler x-mapp-php6 .html .htm
https://www.godaddy.com/community/Developer-Cloud-Portal/Running-php-in-html-files/td-p/2776
To run HTML using FastCGI/PHP, try adding this code to the .htaccess file for the directory the script is in:
Options +ExecCGI
AddHandler fcgid-script .html
FCGIWrapper /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/php5 .html
You can add additional lines for other file extensions if needed.
Use this code:
var result=JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<List<yourObj>>(jsonString);
I think that. When guest is launching page, but Admin is not logged in we don`t show something, for example the Chat.
add_action('init', 'chat_status');
function chat_status(){
if( get_option('admin_logged') === 1) { echo "<style>.chat{display:block;}</style>";}
else { echo "<style>.chat{display:none;}</style>";}
}
add_action('wp_login', function(){
if( wp_get_current_user()->roles[0] == 'administrator' ) update_option('admin_logged', 1);
});
add_action('wp_logout', function(){
if( wp_get_current_user()->roles[0] == 'administrator' ) update_option('admin_logged', 0);
});
Please bear in mind that the formatting of the date is independent of the storage. If it's essential to you that the date is stored in that format you will need to either define a custom data type or store it as a string. Then you can use a combination of extract, typecasting and concatenation to get that format.
However, I suspect that you want to store a date and get the format on output. So, something like this will do the trick for you:
CREATE TABLE my_table
(
id serial PRIMARY KEY not null,
my_date date not null default CURRENT_DATE
);
(CURRENT_DATE is basically a synonym for now() and a cast to date).
(Edited to use to_char).
Then you can get your output like:
SELECT id, to_char(my_date, 'yyyymm') FROM my_table;
Now, if you did really need to store that field as a string and ensure the format you could always do:
CREATE TABLE my_other_table
(
id serial PRIMARY KEY not null,
my_date varchar(6) default to_char(CURRENT_DATE, 'yyyymm')
);
See the MDN section on Promises. In particular, look at the return type of then().
To log in, the user-agent has to submit a request to the server and wait to receive a response. Since making your application totally stop execution during a request round-trip usually makes for a bad user experience, practically every JS function that logs you in (or performs any other form of server interaction) will use a Promise, or something very much like it, to deliver results asynchronously.
Now, also notice that return
statements are always evaluated in the context of the function they appear in. So when you wrote:
let AuthUser = data => {
return google
.login(data.username, data.password)
.then( token => {
return token;
});
};
the statement return token;
meant that the anonymous function being passed into then()
should return the token, not that the AuthUser
function should. What AuthUser
returns is the result of calling google.login(username, password).then(callback);
, which happens to be a Promise.
Ultimately your callback token => { return token; }
does nothing; instead, your input to then()
needs to be a function that actually handles the token in some way.
You need a Flask view that will receive POST data and an HTML form that will send it.
from flask import request
@app.route('/addRegion', methods=['POST'])
def addRegion():

return (request.form['projectFilePath'])
<form action="{{ url_for('addRegion') }}" method="post">
Project file path: <input type="text" name="projectFilePath"><br>
<input type="submit" value="Submit">
</form>
Your code could look more like:
<?php
session_start(); $username = $password = $userError = $passError = '';
if(isset($_POST['sub'])){
$username = $_POST['username']; $password = $_POST['password'];
if($username === 'admin' && $password === 'password'){
$_SESSION['login'] = true; header('LOCATION:wherever.php'); die();
}
if($username !== 'admin')$userError = 'Invalid Username';
if($password !== 'password')$passError = 'Invalid Password';
}
?>

I believe that you can also do this:
git checkout alpha-0.3.0
git reset --hard cc4b63bebb6
git push origin +alpha-0.3.0
This is very similar to the last method, except you don't have to muck around in the remote repo.
To avoid issues with trailing \, call it this way:
string ParentFolder = Directory.GetParent( folder.Trim('\\')).FullName;
With Dojo Toolkit, you would use dojo.indexOf()
. See dojo.indexOf for the documentation, and Arrays Made Easy by Bryan Forbes for some examples.

I am sorry that i bothered you all. The problem was my device is cloned in different places in device manager. It was gone when I tried to update driver for my phone in "Other devices" list, and before i have been updating it in wrong sections. Thank you all.
You'll need to store the old value manually. You could store it a lot of different ways. You could use a javascript object to store values for each textbox, or you could use a hidden field (I wouldn't recommend it - too html heavy), or you could use an expando property on the textbox itself, like this:
<input type="text" onfocus="this.oldvalue = this.value;" onchange="onChangeTest(this);this.oldvalue = this.value;" />
Then your javascript function to handle the change looks like this:
<script type="text/javascript">
function onChangeTest(textbox) {
alert("Value is " + textbox.value + "\n" + "Old Value is " + textbox.oldvalue);
}
</script>

It will be saved as an egg though.
In one of my apps I used :

}
}

Regular expression (presumes the multiline option - the example below uses it):
[ \t]+(\r?$)
Replacement:
$1
For an explanation of "\r?$", see Regular Expression Options, Multiline Mode (MSDN).
This will remove all trailing spaces and all trailing TABs in all lines:
string inputText = " Hello, World! \r\n" +
" Some other line\r\n" +
" The last line ";
string cleanedUpText = Regex.Replace(inputText,
@"[ \t]+(\r?$)", @"$1",
RegexOptions.Multiline);
The simple answer:
doing a MOV RBX, 3 and MUL RBX is expensive; just ADD RBX, RBX twice
ADD 1 is probably faster than INC here
MOV 2 and DIV is very expensive; just shift right
64-bit code is usually noticeably slower than 32-bit code and the alignment issues are more complicated; with small programs like this you have to pack them so you are doing parallel computation to have any chance of being faster than 32-bit code
If you generate the assembly listing for your C++ program, you can see how it differs from your assembly.
Most of all has posted correct answer. I would like to add few links, so that you can refer to them and have clear and better ideas about the same:

The difference between page and window with respect to WPF: Page vs Window in WPF?
For Windows, javac
should be a command that you can run from anywhere. If it isn't (which is strange in and of itself), you need to run javac
from where it's located, but navigate to the exact location of your Java class file in order to compile it successfully.
By default, javac
will compile a file name relative to the current path, and if it can't find the file, it won't compile it.
Please note: You would only be able to use jdk1.8.0 to actually compile, since that would be the only library set that has javac
contained in it. Remember: the Java Runtime Environment runs Java classes; the Java Development Kit compiles them.
Try:
def is_array(a)
a.class == Array
end
EDIT: The other answer is much better than mine.
Further to Ryan's answer you will also need to set the DataColumn
's Ordinal
property if you are dealing with a table-valued parameter
with multiple columns whose ordinals are not in alphabetical order.
As an example, if you have the following table value that is used as a parameter in SQL:
CREATE TYPE NodeFilter AS TABLE (
ID int not null
Code nvarchar(10) not null,
);
You would need to order your columns as such in C#:
table.Columns["ID"].SetOrdinal(0);
// this also bumps Code to ordinal of 1
// if you have more than 2 cols then you would need to set more ordinals
If you fail to do this you will get a parse error, failed to convert nvarchar to int.
An endpoint is the 'connection point' of a service, tool, or application accessed over a network. In the world of software, any software application that is running and "listening" for connections uses an endpoint as the "front door." When you want to connect to the application/service/tool to exchange data you connect to its endpoint
While this is very likely to be lost at the bottom of so many answers, the top solutions here were not working for me.
As far as I could tell neither would any of the other answers have helped.
Situation:
In an HTML5 page I had a menu that was a nav element inside a header (not THE header but a header in another element).
I wanted the navigation to stick to the top once a user scrolled to it, but previous to this the header was absolute positioned (so I could have it overlay something else slightly).
The solutions above never triggered a change because .offsetTop was not going to change as this was an absolute positioned element. Additionally the .scrollTop property was simply the top of the top most element... that is to say 0 and always would be 0.
Any tests I performed utilizing these two (and same with getBoundingClientRect results) would not tell me if the top of the navigation bar ever scrolled to the top of the viewable page (again, as reported in console, they simply stayed the same numbers while scrolling occurred).
Solution
The solution for me was utilizing
window.visualViewport.pageTop
The value of the pageTop property reflects the viewable section of the screen, therefore allowing me to track where an element is in reference to the boundaries of the viewable area.
Probably unnecessary to say, anytime I am dealing with scrolling I expect to use this solution to programatically respond to movement of elements being scrolled.
Hope it helps someone else.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This appears to work in Chrome and Opera currently & definitely not in Firefox (6-2018)... until Firefox supports visualViewport I recommend NOT using this method, (and I hope they do soon... it makes a lot more sense than the rest).
UPDATE:
Just a note regarding this solution.
While I still find what I discovered to be very valuable for situations in which "...programmatically respond to movement of elements being scrolled." is applicable. The better solution for the problem that I had was to use CSS to set position: sticky on the element. Using sticky you can have an element stay at the top without using javascript (NOTE: there are times this will not work as effectively as changing the element to fixed but for most uses the sticky approach will likely be superior)
UPDATE01:
So I realized that for a different page I had a requirement where I needed to detect the position of an element in a mildly complex scrolling setup (parallax plus elements that scroll past as part of a message).
I realized in that scenario that the following provided the value I utilized to determine when to do something:
let bodyElement = document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0];
let elementToTrack = bodyElement.querySelector('.trackme');
trackedObjPos = elementToTrack.getBoundingClientRect().top;
if(trackedObjPos > 264)
{
bodyElement.style.cssText = '';
}
Hope this answer is more widely useful now.
You can use .find()
:
map<string,string>::iterator i = m.find("f");
if (i == m.end()) { /* Not found */ }
else { /* Found, i->first is f, i->second is ++-- */ }
You want a .jardesc
file. They do not kick off automatically, but it's within 2 clicks.
Export > Java > JAR file
Next
.jardesc
fileNow, all you have to do is right click on your .jardesc
file and choose Create JAR
and it will export it in the same spot.
A faster way is to join the list, replace 8 and split the new string:
mylist = [("aaaa8"),("bb8"),("ccc8"),("dddddd8")]
mylist = ' '.join(mylist).replace('8','').split()
print mylist
public List<TEntity> Clone<TEntity>(List<TEntity> o1List) where TEntity : class , new()
{
List<TEntity> retList = new List<TEntity>();
try
{
Type sourceType = typeof(TEntity);
foreach(var o1 in o1List)
{
TEntity o2 = new TEntity();
foreach (PropertyInfo propInfo in (sourceType.GetProperties()))
{
var val = propInfo.GetValue(o1, null);
propInfo.SetValue(o2, val);
}
retList.Add(o2);
}
return retList;
}
catch
{
return retList;
}
}
Should it be LIBRARY_PATH
instead of LD_LIBRARY_PATH
.
gcc checks for LIBRARY_PATH
which can be seen with -v
option
java.util.Date
represents an instant in time, with no reference to a particular time zone or calendar system. It does hold both date and time though - it's basically a number of milliseconds since the Unix epoch.
Alternatively you can use java.util.Calendar
which does know about both of those things.
Personally I would strongly recommend you use Joda Time which is a much richer date/time API. It allows you to express your data much more clearly, with types for "just dates", "just local times", "local date/time", "instant", "date/time with time zone" etc. Most of the types are also immutable, which is a huge benefit in terms of code clarity.
The NuGet documentation provides instructions on how to accomplish this and I just followed them successfully for Visual Studio 2015 & Visual Studio 2017 against VSTS (Azure-hosted TFS). Everything is fully updated as of Nov 2016 Aug 2018.
I recommend you follow NuGet's instructions but just to recap what I did:
packages
folder is not committed to TFS. If it is, get it out of there..sln
file exists in unless otherwise specified (NuGet's instructions aren't completely clear on this)..nuget
folder. You can use Windows Explorer to name it .nuget.
for it to successfully save as .nuget
(it automatically removes the last period) but directly trying to name it .nuget
may not work (you may get an error or it may change the name, depending on your version of Windows).
Or name the directory nuget, and open the parent directory in command line prompt. type. ren nuget .nugetNuGet.config
file and add the following contents and save it:NuGet.config:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<configuration>
<solution>
<add key="disableSourceControlIntegration" value="true" />
</solution>
</configuration>
.sln
's folder and create a new text file and name it .tfignore
(if using Windows Explorer, use the same trick as above and name it .tfignore.
).tfignore:
# Ignore the NuGet packages folder in the root of the repository.
# If needed, prefix 'packages' with additional folder names if it's
# not in the same folder as .tfignore.
packages
# include package target files which may be required for msbuild,
# again prefixing the folder name as needed.
!packages/*.targets
.tfignore
file and .nuget
folder to all of my various solutions and committed them and I no longer have the packages
folder trying to sneak into my source control repo!While not mine, I have found this .tfignore
template by sirkirby to be handy. The example in my answer covers the Nuget packages
folder but this template includes some other things as well as provides additional examples that can be useful if you wish to customize this further.
this is proper code if you want to first child li resize of other css.

There is no need to add if{}else{} control flow. Initialise the button texts for different states at the View or ViewController constructor:
[btnCheckButton setTitle:@"Normal" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; [btnCheckButton setTitle:@"Selected" forState:UIControlStateSelected];
Then switch the button state to Selected:
[btnCheckButton setSelected:YES];
Then switch the button state to Normal:
[btnCheckButton setSelected:NO];
git branch --merged | grep -Ev '^(. master|\*)' | xargs -n 1 git branch -d
will delete all local branches except the current checked out branch and/or master
.
Here's a helpful article for those looking to understand these commands: Git Clean: Delete Already Merged Branches, by Steven Harman.
UPDATE:
Okay, now I definitely have the solution:
files=$(ls xorg-x11-fonts* 2> /dev/null | wc -l)
if [ "$files" != "0" ]
then
echo "Exists"
else
echo "None found."
fi
> Exists
A simple solution is encapsulate code of button event in a function, and call it when you add TRs too:
var i = 1;
$("#addbutton").click(function() {
$("table tr:first").clone().find("input").each(function() {
$(this).val('').attr({
'id': function(_, id) {return id + i },
'name': function(_, name) { return name + i },
'value': ''
});
}).end().appendTo("table");
i++;
applyRemoveEvent();
});
function applyRemoveEvent(){
$('button.removebutton').on('click',function() {
alert("aa");
$(this).closest( 'tr').remove();
return false;
});
};
applyRemoveEvent();
Edit
It has been pointed out that there exists (at least as of 3.0) a pure Spring MVC mechanism by which one could get this data. I will not detail it here, as it is the answer of another user. See @AdamGent's answer for details, and don't forget to upvote it.
In the Spring 3.2 documentation this mechanism is mentioned on both the RequestMapping
JavaDoc page and the RequestParam
JavaDoc page, but prior, it is only mentioned in the RequestMapping
page. In 2.5 documentation there is no mention of this mechanism.
This is likely the preferred approach for most developers as it removes (at least this) binding to the HttpServletRequest
object defined by the servlet-api jar.
/Edit
You should have access to the requests query string via request.getQueryString()
.
In addition to getQueryString, the query parameters can also be retrieved from request.getParameterMap() as a Map.
Yay thanks! This too has been driving me nuts forever.
In my particular case, this worked for me:
input {
width: 13px;
height: 13px;
padding: 0;
margin:0;
vertical-align: top;
position: relative;
*top: 1px;
*overflow: hidden;
}
label {
display: block;
padding: 0;
padding-left: 15px;
text-indent: -15px;
border: 0px solid;
margin-left: 5px;
vertical-align: top;
}
I am using the reset.css which might explain some of the differences, but this seems to work well for me.

make
is a GNU command so the only way you can get it on Windows is installing a Windows version like the one provided by GNUWin32. Anyway, there are several options for getting that:
C:\MinGW\bin\mingw32-make.exe
. Otherwise you're missing the mingw32-make additional utilities
. Look for the link at MinGW's HowTo page to get it installed. Once you've got it, you have two choices:1.1 Copy the MinGW make executable to make.exe
:
copy c:\MinGW\bin\mingw32-make.exe c:\MinGW\bin\make.exe
1.2 Create a link to the actual executable, in your PATH. In this case, if you update MinGW, the link is not deleted:
mklink c:\bin\make.exe C:\MinGW\bin\mingw32-make.exe
Other option is using Chocolatey. First you need to install this package manager. Once installed you simlpy need to install make
:
choco install make
Last option is installing a Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), so you'll have a Linux distribution of your choice embedded in Windows 10 where you'll be able to install make
, gcc
and all the tools you need to build C programs.
Using Future described in above answers does the job, but a bit less significantly as f.get(), blocks the thread until it gets the result, which violates concurrency.
Best solution is to use Guava's ListenableFuture. An example :
ListenableFuture<Void> future = MoreExecutors.listeningDecorator(Executors.newFixedThreadPool(1, new NamedThreadFactory).submit(new Callable<Void>()
{
@Override
public Void call() throws Exception
{
someBackgroundTask();
}
});
Futures.addCallback(future, new FutureCallback<Long>()
{
@Override
public void onSuccess(Long result)
{
doSomething();
}
@Override
public void onFailure(Throwable t)
{
}
};
generateNumbers()
expects a parameter and you aren't passing one in!
generateNumbers() also returns after it has set the first random number - seems to be some confusion about what it is trying to do.
More universal way is to set search_path (should work in PostgreSQL 7.x and above):
SET search_path TO myschema;
Note that set schema myschema
is an alias to above command that is not available in 8.x.
See also: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/ddl-schemas.html
xcopy "your-source-path" "your-destination-path" /D /y /s /r /exclude:path-to-txt- file\ExcludedFilesList.txt
Notice the quotes in source path and destination path, but not in path to exludelist txt file.
Content of ExcludedFilesList.txt is the following: .cs\
I'm using this command to copy file from one project in my solution, to another and excluding .cs files.
/D Copy only files that are modified in sourcepath
/y Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an existing destination file.
/s Copies directories and subdirectories except empty ones.
/r Overwrites read-only files.
var datos = $("#id_formulario").serialize();
$.ajax({
url: "url.php",
type: "POST",
dataType: "html",
data: datos,
success: function (prueba) {
alert("funciona!");
}//FIN SUCCES
});//FIN AJAX
Always use
//Super Fast
$('#my_id').find('.my_class');
instead of
// Fast:
$('#my_id .my_class');
Have look at JQuery Performance Rules.
Also at Jquery Doc
Create an xml file any name (say progressBar.xml) in drawable

Now in your xml file where you have your listView add this code:
<ListView
android:id="@+id/list_form_statusMain"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content">
</ListView>
<ProgressBar
android:id="@+id/progressBar"
style="@style/CustomAlertDialogStyle"
android:layout_width="60dp"
android:layout_height="60dp"
android:layout_centerInParent="true"
android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal"
android:indeterminate="true"
android:indeterminateDrawable="@drawable/circularprogress"
android:visibility="gone"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"/>
In AsyncTask in the method:
@Override
protected void onPreExecute()
{
progressbar_view.setVisibility(View.VISIBLE);
// your code
}
And in onPostExecute:
@Override
protected void onPostExecute(String s)
{
progressbar_view.setVisibility(View.GONE);
//your code
}
The function has to be declared before it's getting called. This could be done in various ways:
Write down the prototype in a header
Use this if the function shall be callable from several source files. Just write your prototype
int Fibonacci(int number);
down in a .h
file (e.g. myfunctions.h
) and then #include "myfunctions.h"
in the C code.
Move the function before it's getting called the first time
This means, write down the function
int Fibonacci(int number){..}
before your main()
function
Explicitly declare the function before it's getting called the first time
This is the combination of the above flavors: type the prototype of the function in the C file before your main()
function
As an additional note: if the function int Fibonacci(int number)
shall only be used in the file where it's implemented, it shall be declared static
, so that it's only visible in that translation unit.
define a String variable using the JSP tags
<%!
String test = new String();
%>
then refer to that variable in your loop as
<c:forEach items="${myParams.items}" var="currentItem" varStatus="stat">
test+= whaterver_value
</c:forEach>
I think that switching off the STRICT mode is not a good option because the app can start losing the data entered by users.
If you receive values for the TESTcol from an app you could add model validation, like in Rails
validates :TESTcol, length: { maximum: 45 }
If you manipulate with values in SQL script you could truncate the string with the SUBSTRING command
INSERT INTO TEST
VALUES
(
1,
SUBSTRING('Vikas Kumar Gupta Kratika Shukla Kritika Shukla', 0, 45)
);
Read the Request.Form NameValueCollection and process your logic accordingly:
NameValueCollection nvc = Request.Form;
string userName, password;
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(nvc["txtUserName"]))
{
userName = nvc["txtUserName"];
}
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(nvc["txtPassword"]))
{
password = nvc["txtPassword"];
}
//Process login
CheckLogin(userName, password);
... where "txtUserName" and "txtPassword" are the Names of the controls on the posting page.
Public Declare Function GetUserName Lib "advapi32.dll"
Alias "GetUserNameA" (ByVal lpBuffer As String, nSize As Long) As Long
....
Dim strLen As Long
Dim strtmp As String * 256
Dim strUserName As String
strLen = 255
GetUserName strtmp, strLen
strUserName = Trim$(TrimNull(strtmp))

update your CSS to the following: this should fix
