Error in installation a R package

I had the same problem with e1071 package. Just close any other R sessions running parallelly and you will be good to go.

SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2ef3, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002ef3

Have encountered the same issue in my asp.net project, in the end i found the issue is with the target function not static, the issue fixed after I put the keyword static.

How to play ringtone/alarm sound in Android

For the future googlers: use RingtoneManager.getActualDefaultRingtoneUri() instead of RingtoneManager.getDefaultUri(). According to its name, it would return the actual uri, so you can freely use it. From documentation of getActualDefaultRingtoneUri():

Gets the current default sound's Uri. This will give the actual sound Uri, instead of using this, most clients can use DEFAULT_RINGTONE_URI.

Meanwhile getDefaultUri() says this:

Returns the Uri for the default ringtone of a particular type. Rather than returning the actual ringtone's sound Uri, this will return the symbolic Uri which will resolved to the actual sound when played.

Android SDK location should not contain whitespace, as this cause problems with NDK tools

As the warning message states, the SDK location should not contain whitespace.

Your SDK is at C:\Users\Giacomo B\AppData\Local\Android\sdk. There is a whitespace character in Giacomo B.

The easiest solution is to move the SDK somewhere else, where there is no space or other whitespace character in the path, such as C:\Android\sdk. You can point both Android Studio installations to the new location.

Use async await with Array.map

A solution using modern-async's map():

import { map } from 'modern-async'

...
const result = await map(myArray, async (v) => {
    ...
})

The advantage of using that library is that you can control the concurrency using mapLimit() or mapSeries().

How to push a single file in a subdirectory to Github (not master)

git status #then file which you need to push git add example.FileExtension

git commit "message is example"

git push -u origin(or whatever name you used) master(or name of some branch where you want to push it)

Printing the last column of a line in a file

To print the last column of a line just use $(NF):

awk '{print $(NF)}'

Python - AttributeError: 'numpy.ndarray' object has no attribute 'append'

pixels = np.array(pixels) in this line you reassign pixels. So, it may not a list anyhow. Though pixels is not a list it has no attributes append. Does it make sense?

Why does the arrow (->) operator in C exist?

C also does a good job at not making anything ambiguous.

Sure the dot could be overloaded to mean both things, but the arrow makes sure that the programmer knows that he's operating on a pointer, just like when the compiler won't let you mix two incompatible types.

Injecting content into specific sections from a partial view ASP.NET MVC 3 with Razor View Engine

I solved this a completely different route (because I was in a hurry and didn't want to implement a new HtmlHelper):

I wrapped my Partial View in a big if-else statement:

@if ((bool)ViewData["ShouldRenderScripts"] == true){
// Scripts
}else{
// Html
}

Then, I called the Partial twice with a custom ViewData:

@Html.Partial("MyPartialView", Model,
    new ViewDataDictionary { { "ShouldRenderScripts", false } })

@section scripts{
    @Html.Partial("MyPartialView", Model,
        new ViewDataDictionary { { "ShouldRenderScripts", true } })
}

Meaning of end='' in the statement print("\t",end='')?

See the documentation for the print function: print()

The content of end is printed after the thing you want to print. By default it contains a newline ("\n") but it can be changed to something else, like an empty string.

Checking the form field values before submitting that page

While you have a return value in checkform, it isn't being used anywhere - try using onclick="return checkform()" instead.

You may want to considering replacing this method with onsubmit="return checkform()" in the form tag instead, though both will work for clicking the button.

Check if a Python list item contains a string inside another string

Just throwing this out there: if you happen to need to match against more than one string, for example abc and def, you can combine two comprehensions as follows:

matchers = ['abc','def']
matching = [s for s in my_list if any(xs in s for xs in matchers)]

Output:

['abc-123', 'def-456', 'abc-456']

How do I make calls to a REST API using C#?

Since you are using Visual Studio 11 Beta, you will want to use the latest and greatest. The new Web API contains classes for this.

Bind event to right mouse click

There is no built-in oncontextmenu event handler in jQuery, but you can do something like this:

$(document).ready(function(){
  document.oncontextmenu = function() {return false;};

  $(document).mousedown(function(e){
    if( e.button == 2 ) {
      alert('Right mouse button!');
      return false;
    }
    return true;
  });
});

Basically I cancel the oncontextmenu event of the DOM element to disable the browser context menu, and then I capture the mousedown event with jQuery, and there you can know in the event argument which button has been pressed.

You can try the above example here.

How to import a CSS file in a React Component

I would suggest using CSS Modules:

React

import React from 'react';
import styles from './table.css';

export default class Table extends React.Component {
    render () {
        return <div className={styles.table}>
            <div className={styles.row}>
                <div className={styles.cell}>A0</div>
                <div className={styles.cell}>B0</div>
            </div>
        </div>;
    }
}

Rendering the Component:

<div class="table__table___32osj">
    <div class="table__row___2w27N">
        <div class="table__cell___2w27N">A0</div>
        <div class="table__cell___1oVw5">B0</div>
    </div>
</div>

Java Generate Random Number Between Two Given Values

int Random = (int)(Math.random()*100);

if You need to generate more than one value, then just use for loop for that

 for (int i = 1; i <= 10 ; i++)
       {
        int Random = (int)(Math.random()*100);
        System.out.println(Random);
       }

If You want to specify a more decent range, like from 10 to 100 ( both are in the range )

so the code would be :

   int Random =10 +  (int)(Math.random()*(91));
   /* int Random = (min.value ) + (int)(Math.random()* ( Max - Min + 1));
  *Where min is the smallest value You want to be the smallest number possible to
  generate and Max is the biggest possible number to generate*/

What's the difference between session.persist() and session.save() in Hibernate?

I did some mock testing to record the difference between save() and persist().

Sounds like both these methods behaves same when dealing with Transient Entity but differ when dealing with Detached Entity.

For the below example, take EmployeeVehicle as an Entity with PK as vehicleId which is a generated value and vehicleName as one of its properties.

Example 1 : Dealing with Transient Object

Session session = factory.openSession();
session.beginTransaction();
EmployeeVehicle entity = new EmployeeVehicle();
entity.setVehicleName("Honda");
session.save(entity);
// session.persist(entity);
session.getTransaction().commit();
session.close();

Result:

select nextval ('hibernate_sequence') // This is for vehicle Id generated : 36
insert into Employee_Vehicle ( Vehicle_Name, Vehicle_Id) values ( Honda, 36)

Note the result is same when you get an already persisted object and save it

EmployeeVehicle entity =  (EmployeeVehicle)session.get(EmployeeVehicle.class, 36);
entity.setVehicleName("Toyota");
session.save(entity);    -------> **instead of session.update(entity);**
// session.persist(entity);

Repeat the same using persist(entity) and will result the same with new Id ( say 37 , honda ) ;

Example 2 : Dealing with Detached Object

// Session 1
// Get the previously saved Vehicle Entity
Session session = factory.openSession();
session.beginTransaction();
EmployeeVehicle entity = (EmployeeVehicle)session.get(EmployeeVehicle.class, 36);
session.close();

// Session 2
// Here in Session 2 , vehicle entity obtained in previous session is a detached object and now we will try to save / persist it
// (i) Using Save() to persist a detached object
Session session2 = factory.openSession();
session2.beginTransaction();
entity.setVehicleName("Toyota");
session2.save(entity);
session2.getTransaction().commit();
session2.close();

Result : You might be expecting the Vehicle with id : 36 obtained in previous session is updated with name as "Toyota" . But what happens is that a new entity is saved in the DB with new Id generated for and Name as "Toyota"

select nextval ('hibernate_sequence')
insert into Employee_Vehicle ( Vehicle_Name, Vehicle_Id) values ( Toyota, 39)

Using persist to persist detached entity

// (ii) Using Persist() to persist a detached
// Session 1
Session session = factory.openSession();
session.beginTransaction();
EmployeeVehicle entity = (EmployeeVehicle)session.get(EmployeeVehicle.class, 36);
session.close();

// Session 2
// Here in Session 2 , vehicle entity obtained in previous session is a detached object and now we will try to save / persist it
// (i) Using Save() to persist a detached
Session session2 = factory.openSession();
session2.beginTransaction();
entity.setVehicleName("Toyota");
session2.persist(entity);
session2.getTransaction().commit();
session2.close();

Result:

Exception being thrown : detached entity passed to persist

So, it is always better to use Persist() rather than Save() as save has to be carefully used when dealing with Transient object .

Important Note : In the above example , the pk of vehicle entity is a generated value , so when using save() to persist a detached entity , hibernate generates a new id to persist . However if this pk is not a generated value than it is result in a exception stating key violated.

ExpressionChangedAfterItHasBeenCheckedError: Expression has changed after it was checked. Previous value: 'undefined'

Two Solutions:

  1. Make Sure if you have some binding variables then move that code to settimeout( { }, 0);
  2. Move your related code to ngAfterViewInit method

com.android.build.transform.api.TransformException

I just had to Clean my project and then it built successfully afterwards.

What is the purpose and use of **kwargs?

Here is an example that I hope is helpful:

#! /usr/bin/env python
#
def g( **kwargs) :
  print ( "In g ready to print kwargs" )
  print kwargs
  print ( "in g, calling f")
  f ( **kwargs )
  print ( "In g, after returning from f")

def f( **kwargs ) :
  print ( "in f, printing kwargs")
  print ( kwargs )
  print ( "In f, after printing kwargs")

g( a="red", b=5, c="Nassau")

g( q="purple", w="W", c="Charlie", d=[4, 3, 6] )

When you run the program, you get:

$ python kwargs_demo.py
In g ready to print kwargs
{'a': 'red', 'c': 'Nassau', 'b': 5}
in g, calling f
in f, printing kwargs
{'a': 'red', 'c': 'Nassau', 'b': 5}
In f, after printing kwargs
In g, after returning from f
In g ready to print kwargs
{'q': 'purple', 'c': 'Charlie', 'd': [4, 3, 6], 'w': 'W'}
in g, calling f
in f, printing kwargs
{'q': 'purple', 'c': 'Charlie', 'd': [4, 3, 6], 'w': 'W'}
In f, after printing kwargs
In g, after returning from f

The key take away here is that the variable number of named arguments in the call translate into a dictionary in the function.

Meaning of "n:m" and "1:n" in database design

Imagine you have have a Book model and a Page model,

1:N means:
One book can have **many** pages. One page can only be in **one** book.

N:N means:
One book can have **many** pages. And one page can be in **many** books.

Encode String to UTF-8

This solved my problem

    InputStream is = new ByteArrayInputStream(inputText.getBytes("UTF-8"));

Find a line in a file and remove it

This solution requires the Apache Commons IO library to be added to the build path. It works by reading the entire file and writing each line back but only if the search term is not contained.

public static void removeLineFromFile(File targetFile, String searchTerm)
        throws IOException
{
    StringBuffer fileContents = new StringBuffer(
            FileUtils.readFileToString(targetFile));
    String[] fileContentLines = fileContents.toString().split(
            System.lineSeparator());

    emptyFile(targetFile);
    fileContents = new StringBuffer();

    for (int fileContentLinesIndex = 0; fileContentLinesIndex < fileContentLines.length; fileContentLinesIndex++)
    {
        if (fileContentLines[fileContentLinesIndex].contains(searchTerm))
        {
            continue;
        }

        fileContents.append(fileContentLines[fileContentLinesIndex] + System.lineSeparator());
    }

    FileUtils.writeStringToFile(targetFile, fileContents.toString().trim());
}

private static void emptyFile(File targetFile) throws FileNotFoundException,
        IOException
{
    RandomAccessFile randomAccessFile = new RandomAccessFile(targetFile, "rw");

    randomAccessFile.setLength(0);
    randomAccessFile.close();
}

How to list all the roles existing in Oracle database?

Got the answer :

SELECT * FROM DBA_ROLES;

window.onload vs $(document).ready()

Document.ready (a jQuery event) will fire when all the elements are in place, and they can be referenced in the JavaScript code, but the content is not necessarily loaded. Document.ready executes when the HTML document is loaded.

$(document).ready(function() {

    // Code to be executed
    alert("Document is ready");
});

The window.load however will wait for the page to be fully loaded. This includes inner frames, images, etc.

$(window).load(function() {

    //Fires when the page is loaded completely
    alert("window is loaded");
});

How to use the addr2line command in Linux?

That's exactly how you use it. There is a possibility that the address you have does not correspond to something directly in your source code though.

For example:

$ cat t.c
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
    printf("hello\n");
    return 0;
}
$ gcc -g t.c
$ addr2line -e a.out 0x400534
/tmp/t.c:3
$ addr2line -e a.out 0x400550
??:0

0x400534 is the address of main in my case. 0x400408 is also a valid function address in a.out, but it's a piece of code generated/imported by GCC, that has no debug info. (In this case, __libc_csu_init. You can see the layout of your executable with readelf -a your_exe.)

Other times when addr2line will fail is if you're including a library that has no debug information.

Can I use library that used android support with Androidx projects.

I had a problem like this before, it was the gradle.properties file doesn't exist, only the gradle.properties.txt , so i went to my project folder and i copied & pasted the gradle.properties.txt file but without .txt extension then it finally worked.

Error in Process.Start() -- The system cannot find the file specified

Try to replace your initialization code with:

ProcessStartInfo info
    = new ProcessStartInfo(@"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe");

Using non full filepath on Process.Start only works if the file is found in System32 folder.

Determining the current foreground application from a background task or service

This worked for me. But it gives only the main menu name. That is if user has opened Settings --> Bluetooth --> Device Name screen, RunningAppProcessInfo calls it as just Settings. Not able to drill down furthur

                PackageManager pm = context.getPackageManager();

                for(RunningAppProcessInfo appProcess : appProcesses) {
                    if(appProcess.importance == RunningAppProcessInfo.IMPORTANCE_FOREGROUND) {
                        CharSequence c = pm.getApplicationLabel(pm.getApplicationInfo(appProcess.processName, PackageManager.GET_META_DATA));
                        Log.i("Foreground App", "package: " + appProcess.processName + " App: " + c.toString());

How to easily consume a web service from PHP

I've had great success with wsdl2php. It will automatically create wrapper classes for all objects and methods used in your web service.

Set Locale programmatically

There is a super simple way.

in BaseActivity, Activity or Fragment override attachBaseContext

 override fun attachBaseContext(context: Context) {
    super.attachBaseContext(context.changeLocale("tr"))
}

extension

fun Context.changeLocale(language:String): Context {
    val locale = Locale(language)
    Locale.setDefault(locale)
    val config = this.resources.configuration
    config.setLocale(locale)
    return createConfigurationContext(config)
}

How to use a dot "." to access members of dictionary?

Don't. Attribute access and indexing are separate things in Python, and you shouldn't want them to perform the same. Make a class (possibly one made by namedtuple) if you have something that should have accessible attributes and use [] notation to get an item from a dict.

How do I attach events to dynamic HTML elements with jQuery?

After jQuery 1.7 the preferred methods are .on() and .off()

Sean's answer shows an example.

Now Deprecated:

Use the jQuery functions .live() and .die(). Available in jQuery 1.3.x

From the docs:

To display each paragraph's text in an alert box whenever it is clicked:

$("p").live("click", function(){
  alert( $(this).text() );
});

Also, the livequery plugin does this and has support for more events.

php multidimensional array get values

For people who searched for php multidimensional array get values and actually want to solve problem comes from getting one column value from a 2 dimensinal array (like me!), here's a much elegant way than using foreach, which is array_column

For example, if I only want to get hotel_name from the below array, and form to another array:

$hotels = [
    [
        'hotel_name' => 'Hotel A',
        'info' => 'Hotel A Info',
    ],
    [
        'hotel_name' => 'Hotel B',
        'info' => 'Hotel B Info',
    ]
];

I can do this using array_column:

$hotel_name = array_column($hotels, 'hotel_name');

print_r($hotel_name); // Which will give me ['Hotel A', 'Hotel B']

For the actual answer for this question, it can also be beautified by array_column and call_user_func_array('array_merge', $twoDimensionalArray);

Let's make the data in PHP:

$hotels = [
    [
        'hotel_name' => 'Hotel A',
        'info' => 'Hotel A Info',
        'rooms' => [
            [
                'room_name' => 'Luxury Room',
                'bed' => 2,
                'boards' => [
                    'board_id' => 1,
                    'price' => 200
                ]
            ],
            [
                'room_name' => 'Non Luxy Room',
                'bed' => 4,
                'boards' => [
                    'board_id' => 2,
                    'price' => 150
                ]
            ],
        ]
    ],
    [
        'hotel_name' => 'Hotel B',
        'info' => 'Hotel B Info',
        'rooms' => [
            [
                'room_name' => 'Luxury Room',
                'bed' => 2,
                'boards' => [
                    'board_id' => 3,
                    'price' => 900
                ]
            ],
            [
                'room_name' => 'Non Luxy Room',
                'bed' => 4,
                'boards' => [
                    'board_id' => 4,
                    'price' => 300
                ]
            ],
        ]
    ]
];

And here's the calculation:

$rooms = array_column($hotels, 'rooms');
$rooms = call_user_func_array('array_merge', $rooms);
$boards = array_column($rooms, 'boards');

foreach($boards as $board){
    $board_id = $board['board_id'];
    $price = $board['price'];
    echo "Board ID is: ".$board_id." and price is: ".$price . "<br/>";
}

Which will give you the following result:

Board ID is: 1 and price is: 200
Board ID is: 2 and price is: 150
Board ID is: 3 and price is: 900
Board ID is: 4 and price is: 300

How to create a Rectangle object in Java using g.fillRect method

Note:drawRect and fillRect are different.

Draws the outline of the specified rectangle:

public void drawRect(int x,
        int y,
        int width,
        int height)

Fills the specified rectangle. The rectangle is filled using the graphics context's current color:

        int y,
        int width,
        int height)

Postgres error on insert - ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0x00

This kind of error can also happen when using COPY and having an escaped string containing NULL values(00) such as:

If you use COPY without specifying the format 'CSV' postgres by default will assume format 'text'. This has a different interaction with backlashes, see text format.

If you're using COPY or a file_fdw make sure to specify format 'CSV' to avoid this kind of errors.

How do you change the colour of each category within a highcharts column chart?

You can also set the color individually for each point/bar if you change the data array to be configuration objects instead of numbers.

data: [
      {y: 34.4, color: 'red'},     // this point is red
      21.8,                        // default blue
      {y: 20.1, color: '#aaff99'}, // this will be greenish
      20]                          // default blue

Google Play app description formatting

<br> seems to be the best and only way that currently works on the app version to create a new line break. I have tried it successfully in a review, as well as unsuccessfully tried all other Unicode/HTML newline-related characters that the Wikipedia page for newlines would tell me. I used <br> with | immediately on either side, using no closing tag, and it magically created a single line break without revealing the source or screwing anything up.

TLDR: <br> lets you successfully utilize single line breaks in Google Play app -- unlike everything else I tried (a lot).

P.S. I have no clue how to make the thing show source instead of being used as source. !^( Now I do, and I know it works on both the desktop and mobile sites. !!

Additionally, upon searching for how to make it show the source, I stumbled upon this. <del></del>

Is there a way to create key-value pairs in Bash script?

In bash version 4 associative arrays were introduced.

declare -A arr

arr["key1"]=val1

arr+=( ["key2"]=val2 ["key3"]=val3 )

The arr array now contains the three key value pairs. Bash is fairly limited what you can do with them though, no sorting or popping etc.

for key in ${!arr[@]}; do
    echo ${key} ${arr[${key}]}
done

Will loop over all key values and echo them out.

Note: Bash 4 does not come with Mac OS X because of its GPLv3 license; you have to download and install it. For more on that see here

How to compare types

You can compare for exactly the same type using:

class A {
}
var a = new A();
var typeOfa = a.GetType();
if (typeOfa == typeof(A)) {
}

typeof returns the Type object from a given class.

But if you have a type B, that inherits from A, then this comparison is false. And you are looking for IsAssignableFrom.

class B : A {
}
var b = new B();
var typeOfb = b.GetType();

if (typeOfb == typeof(A)) { // false
}

if (typeof(A).IsAssignableFrom(typeOfb)) { // true
}

ActiveModel::ForbiddenAttributesError when creating new user

There is an easier way to avoid the Strong Parameters at all, you just need to convert the parameters to a regular hash, as:

unlocked_params = ActiveSupport::HashWithIndifferentAccess.new(params)

model.create!(unlocked_params)

This defeats the purpose of strong parameters of course, but if you are in a situation like mine (I'm doing my own management of allowed params in another part of my system) this will get the job done.

There isn't any need for table and table-cells. It can be achieved easily using transform.

Example: http://codepen.io/arvind/pen/QNbwyM

Code:

_x000D_
_x000D_
.child {_x000D_
  height: 10em;_x000D_
  border: 1px solid green;_x000D_
  position: relative;_x000D_
}_x000D_
.child-content {_x000D_
  position: absolute;_x000D_
  top: 50%;_x000D_
  left: 50%;_x000D_
  -webkit-transform: translate(-50%, -50%);_x000D_

How to hide command output in Bash

A process normally has two outputs to screen: stdout (standard out), and stderr (standard error).

Normally informational messages go to sdout, and errors and alerts go to stderr.

You can turn off stdout for a command by doing

MyCommand >/dev/null

and turn off stderr by doing:

MyCommand 2>/dev/null

If you want both off, you can do:

MyCommand 2>&1 >/dev/null

The 2>&1 says send stderr to the same place as stdout.

NSRange from Swift Range?

Possible Solution

Swift provides distance() which measures the distance between start and end that can be used to create an NSRange:

let text = "Long paragraph saying something goes here!"
let textRange = text.startIndex..<text.endIndex
let attributedString = NSMutableAttributedString(string: text)

text.enumerateSubstringsInRange(textRange, options: NSStringEnumerationOptions.ByWords, { (substring, substringRange, enclosingRange, stop) -> () in
    let start = distance(text.startIndex, substringRange.startIndex)
    let length = distance(substringRange.startIndex, substringRange.endIndex)
    let range = NSMakeRange(start, length)

//    println("word: \(substring) - \(d1) to \(d2)")

        if (substring == "saying") {
            attributedString.addAttribute(NSForegroundColorAttributeName, value: NSColor.redColor(), range: range)
        }
})

Bitwise and in place of modulus operator

First of all, it's actually not accurate to say that

x % 2 == x & 1

Simple counterexample: x = -1. In many languages, including Java, -1 % 2 == -1. That is, % is not necessarily the traditional mathematical definition of modulo. Java calls it the "remainder operator", for example.

With regards to bitwise optimization, only modulo powers of two can "easily" be done in bitwise arithmetics. Generally speaking, only modulo powers of base b can "easily" be done with base b representation of numbers.

In base 10, for example, for non-negative N, N mod 10^k is just taking the least significant k digits.

Type converting slices of interfaces

The thing you are missing is that T and interface{} which holds a value of T have different representations in memory so can't be trivially converted.

A variable of type T is just its value in memory. There is no associated type information (in Go every variable has a single type known at compile time not at run time). It is represented in memory like this:

  • value

An interface{} holding a variable of type T is represented in memory like this

  • pointer to type T
  • value

So coming back to your original question: why go does't implicitly convert []T to []interface{}?

Converting []T to []interface{} would involve creating a new slice of interface {} values which is a non-trivial operation since the in-memory layout is completely different.

How can I change the language (to english) in Oracle SQL Developer?

On MAC High Sierra (10.13.6)

cd /Users/vkrishna/.sqldeveloper/18.2.0

nano product.conf

on the last line add

AddVMOption -Duser.language=en

Save the file and restart.

=======================================

If you are using standalone Oracle Data Modeller

find ~/ -name "datamodeler.conf"

and edit this file

cd /Users/vkrishna//Desktop/OracleDataModeler-18.2.0.179.0756.app/Contents/Resources/datamodeler/datamodeler/bin/

Add somewhere in the last

AddVMOption -Duser.language=en

save and restart, done!

What is the worst programming language you ever worked with?

I'm not sure if you meant to include scripting languages, but I've seen TCL (which is also annoying), but... the mIRC scripting language annoys me to no end.

Because of some oversight in the parsing, it's whitespace significant when it's not supposed to be. Conditional statements will sometimes be executed when they're supposed to be skipped because of this. Opening a block statement cannot be done on a separate line, etc.

Other than that it's just full of messy, inconsistent syntax that was probably designed that way to make very basic stuff easy, but at the same time makes anything a little more complex barely readable.

I lost most of my mIRC scripts, or I could have probably found some good examples of what a horrible mess it forces you to create :(

How to use 'git pull' from the command line?

Try setting the HOME environment variable in Windows to your home folder (c:\users\username).

( you can confirm that this is the problem by doing echo $HOME in git bash and echo %HOME% in cmd - latter might not be available )

Font size relative to the user's screen resolution?

You can use em, %, px. But in combination with media-queries See this Link to learn about media-queries. Also, CSS3 have some new values for sizing things relative to the current viewport size: vw, vh, and vmin. See link about that.

Spring @Autowired and @Qualifier

You can use @Qualifier along with @Autowired. In fact spring will ask you explicitly select the bean if ambiguous bean type are found, in which case you should provide the qualifier

For Example in following case it is necessary provide a qualifier

@Component
@Qualifier("staff")
public Staff implements Person {}

@Component
@Qualifier("employee")
public Manager implements Person {}

@Component
public Payroll {

    private Person person;

    @Autowired
    public Payroll(@Qualifier("employee") Person person){
          this.person = person;
    }

}

EDIT:

In Lombok 1.18.4 it is finally possible to avoid the boilerplate on constructor injection when you have @Qualifier, so now it is possible to do the following:

@Component
@Qualifier("staff")
public Staff implements Person {}

@Component
@Qualifier("employee")
public Manager implements Person {}

@Component
@RequiredArgsConstructor
public Payroll {
   @Qualifier("employee") private final Person person;
}

provided you are using the new lombok.config rule copyableAnnotations (by placing the following in lombok.config in the root of your project):

# Copy the Qualifier annotation from the instance variables to the constructor
# see https://github.com/rzwitserloot/lombok/issues/745
lombok.copyableAnnotations += org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Qualifier

This was recently introduced in latest lombok 1.18.4.

NOTE

If you are using field or setter injection then you have to place the @Autowired and @Qualifier on top of the field or setter function like below(any one of them will work)

public Payroll {
   @Autowired @Qualifier("employee") private final Person person;
}

or

public Payroll {
   private final Person person;
   @Autowired
   @Qualifier("employee")
   public void setPerson(Person person) {
     this.person = person;
   }
}

If you are using constructor injection then the annotations should be placed on constructor, else the code would not work. Use it like below -

public Payroll {

    private Person person;

    @Autowired
    public Payroll(@Qualifier("employee") Person person){
          this.person = person;
    }

}

How to escape single quotes within single quoted strings

This function:

quote ()
{
    local quoted=${1//\'/\'\\\'\'};
    printf "'%s'" "$quoted"
}

allows quoting of ' inside '. Use as this:

$ quote "urxvt -fg '#111111' -bg '#111111'"
'urxvt -fg '\''#111111'\'' -bg '\''#111111'\'''

If the line to quote gets more complex, like double quotes mixed with single quotes, it may become quite tricky to get the string to quote inside a variable. When such cases show up, write the exact line that you need to quote inside an script (similar to this).

#!/bin/bash

quote ()
{
    local quoted=${1//\'/\'\\\'\'};
    printf "'%s'" "$quoted"
}

while read line; do
    quote "$line"
done <<-\_lines_to_quote_
urxvt -fg '#111111' -bg '#111111'
Louis Theroux's LA Stories
'single quote phrase' "double quote phrase"
_lines_to_quote_

Will output:

'urxvt -fg '\''#111111'\'' -bg '\''#111111'\'''
'Louis Theroux'\''s LA Stories'
''\''single quote phrase'\'' "double quote phrase"'

All correctly quoted strings inside single quotes.

Android: How to programmatically access the device serial number shown in the AVD manager (API Version 8)

Up to Android 7.1 (SDK 25)

Until Android 7.1 you will get it with:

Build.SERIAL

From Android 8 (SDK 26)

On Android 8 (SDK 26) and above, this field will return UNKNOWN and must be accessed with:

Build.getSerial()

which requires the dangerous permission android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE.

From Android Q (SDK 29)

Since Android Q using Build.getSerial() gets a bit more complicated by requiring:

android.Manifest.permission.READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE (which can only be acquired by system apps), or for the calling package to be the device or profile owner and have the READ_PHONE_STATE permission. This means most apps won't be able to uses this feature. See the Android Q announcement from Google.

See Android SDK reference

Best Practice for Unique Device Identifier

If you just require a unique identifier, it's best to avoid using hardware identifiers as Google continuously tries to make it harder to access them for privacy reasons. You could just generate a UUID.randomUUID().toString(); and save it the first time it needs to be accessed in e.g. shared preferences. Alternatively you could use ANDROID_ID which is a 8 byte long hex string unique to the device, user and (only Android 8+) app installation. For more info on that topic, see Best practices for unique identifiers.

How to backup MySQL database in PHP?

If you want to backup a database from php script you could use a class for example lets call it MySQL. This class will use PDO (build in php class which will handle the connection to the database). This class could look like this:

<?php /*defined in your exampleconfig.php*/
define('DBUSER','root');
define('DBPASS','');
define('SERVERHOST','localhost');
?>

<?php /*defined in examplemyclass.php*/
    class MySql{
        private $dbc;
        private $user;
        private $pass;
        private $dbname;
        private $host;

        function __construct($host="localhost", $dbname="your_databse_name_here", $user="your_username", $pass="your_password"){
            $this->user = $user;

           $connection->closeConnection();
        */
        } /*end function*/

        private function writeUTF8filename($filenamename,$content){  /* save as utf8 encoding */
            $f=fopen($filenamename,"w+");
            # Now UTF-8 - Add byte order mark
            fwrite($f, pack("CCC",0xef,0xbb,0xbf));
            fwrite($f,$content);
            fclose($f);
        /*USE EXAMPLE this is only used by public function above...
            $this->writeUTF8filename($filename,$data);
        */
        } /*end function*/

        public function recoverDB($file_to_load){
            echo "write some code to load and proccedd .sql file in here ...";
        /*USE EXAMPLE this is only used by public function above...
            recoverDB("some_buck_up_file.sql");
        */
        } /*end function*/

        public function closeConnection(){
            $this->dbc = null;
        //EXAMPLE OF USE
        /*$connection->closeConnection();*/
        }/*end function*/

    } /*END OF CLASS*/
    ?>

Now you could simply use this in your backup.php:

include ('config.php');
include ('myclass.php');
    $connection = new MySql(SERVERHOST,"your_databse_name_here",DBUSER, DBPASS);
    $connection->backup_tables(); /*Save all tables and it values in selected database*/
    $connection->backup_tables("post_table"); /*Saves only table name posts_table from selected database*/
    $connection->closeConnection();

Which means that visiting this page will result in backing up your file... of course it doesn't have to be that way :) you can call this method on every post to your database to be up to date all the time, however, I would recommend to write it to one file at all the time instead of creating new files with time()... as it is above.

Hope it helps and good luck ! :>

Understanding SQL Server LOCKS on SELECT queries

The SELECT WITH (NOLOCK) allows reads of uncommitted data, which is equivalent to having the READ UNCOMMITTED isolation level set on your database. The NOLOCK keyword allows finer grained control than setting the isolation level on the entire database.

Wikipedia has a useful article: Wikipedia: Isolation (database systems)

It is also discussed at length in other stackoverflow articles.

How to add constraints programmatically using Swift

The problem, as the error message suggests, is that you have constraints of type NSAutoresizingMaskLayoutConstraints that conflict with your explicit constraints, because new_view.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints is set to true.

This is the default setting for views you create in code. You can turn it off like this:

var new_view:UIView! = UIView(frame: CGRectMake(0, 0, 100, 100))
new_view.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false

Also, your width and height constraints are weird. If you want the view to have a constant width, this is the proper way:

new_view.addConstraint(NSLayoutConstraint(
    item:new_view, attribute:NSLayoutAttribute.Width,
    relatedBy:NSLayoutRelation.Equal,
    toItem:nil, attribute:NSLayoutAttribute.NotAnAttribute,
    multiplier:0, constant:100))

(Replace 100 by the width you want it to have.)

If your deployment target is iOS 9.0 or later, you can use this shorter code:

new_view.widthAnchor.constraintEqualToConstant(100).active = true

Anyway, for a layout like this (fixed size and centered in parent view), it would be simpler to use the autoresizing mask and let the system translate the mask into constraints:

var new_view:UIView! = UIView(frame: CGRectMake(0, 0, 100, 100))
new_view.backgroundColor = UIColor.redColor();
view.addSubview(new_view);

// This is the default setting but be explicit anyway...
new_view.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = true

new_view.autoresizingMask = [ .FlexibleTopMargin, .FlexibleBottomMargin,
    .FlexibleLeftMargin, .FlexibleRightMargin ]

new_view.center = CGPointMake(view.bounds.midX, view.bounds.midY)

Note that using autoresizing is perfectly legitimate even when you're also using autolayout. (UIKit still uses autoresizing in lots of places internally.) The problem is that it's difficult to apply additional constraints to a view that is using autoresizing.

In my application above, i assume that once a student is enrolled, a subject SubjectGrade instance will be created that contains the subject enrolled and the student himself/herself.

Subject and Student User model is a Foreign Key to the SubjectGrade Model.

In "available_subjects", i excluded all the subjects that are already enrolled by the current student_user by checking all subjectgrade instance that has "student" attribute as the current student_user

PS. Apologies in Advance if you can't still understand because of my explanation. This is the best explanation i Can Provide. Thank you so much

Getting the client's time zone (and offset) in JavaScript

Once I had this "simple" task and I used (new Date()).getTimezoneOffset() - the approach that is widely suggested here. But it turned out that the solution wasn't quite right. For some undocumented reasons in my case new Date() was returning GMT+0200 when new Date(0) was returning GMT+0300 which was right. Since then I always use

(new Date(0)).getTimezoneOffset() to get a correct timeshift.

How to remove an element from a list by index

Or if multiple indexes should be removed:

print([v for i,v in enumerate(your_list) if i not in list_of_unwanted_indexes])

Of course then could also do:

print([v for i,v in enumerate(your_list) if i != unwanted_index])

How do I print the full value of a long string in gdb?

Using set elements ... isn't always the best way. It would be useful if there were a distinct set string-elements ....

So, I use these functions in my .gdbinit:

define pstr
  ptype $arg0._M_dataplus._M_p
  printf "[%d] = %s\n", $arg0._M_string_length, $arg0._M_dataplus._M_p
end

define pcstr
  ptype $arg0
  printf "[%d] = %s\n", strlen($arg0), $arg0
end

Caveats:

  • The first is c++ lib dependent as it accesses members of std::string, but is easily adjusted.
  • The second can only be used on a running program as it calls strlen.

Python Requests package: Handling xml response

requests does not handle parsing XML responses, no. XML responses are much more complex in nature than JSON responses, how you'd serialize XML data into Python structures is not nearly as straightforward.

Python comes with built-in XML parsers. I recommend you use the ElementTree API:

import requests
from xml.etree import ElementTree

response = requests.get(url)

tree = ElementTree.fromstring(response.content)

or, if the response is particularly large, use an incremental approach:

    response = requests.get(url, stream=True)
    # if the server sent a Gzip or Deflate compressed response, decompress
    # as we read the raw stream:
    response.raw.decode_content = True

    events = ElementTree.iterparse(response.raw)
    for event, elem in events:
        # do something with `elem`

The external lxml project builds on the same API to give you more features and power still.

How to exclude *AutoConfiguration classes in Spring Boot JUnit tests?

If the issue is that your SpringBootApplication/Configuration you are bringing in is component scanning the package your test configurations are in, you can actually remove the @Configuration annotation from the test configurations and you can still use them in the @SpringBootTest annotations. For example, if you have a class Application that is your main configuration and a class TestConfiguration that is a configuration for certain, but not all tests, you can set up your classes as follows:

@Import(Application.class) //or the specific configurations you want
//(Optional) Other Annotations that will not trigger an autowire
public class TestConfiguration {
    //your custom test configuration
}

And then you can configure your tests in one of two ways:

  1. With the regular configuration:

    @SpringBootTest(classes = {Application.class}) //won't component scan your configuration because it doesn't have an autowire-able annotation
    //Other annotations here
    public class TestThatUsesNormalApplication {
        //my test code
    }

  2. With the test custom test configuration:

    @SpringBootTest(classes = {TestConfiguration.class}) //this still works!
    //Other annotations here
    public class TestThatUsesCustomTestConfiguration {
        //my test code
    }

XAMPP installation on Win 8.1 with UAC Warning

There's nothing to be worried upon for this. Like other servers, install xampp somewhere outside of the default Program Files folder of Windows. It shall work fine.

I previously had wamp server installed on my machine and i never understood why wamp server installs itself outside of the default directory. Xampp cleared this, now i have both the servers lying outside the Program Files folder and are running fine.

C#: how to get first char of a string?

Answer to your question is NO.

Correct is MyString[position of character]. For your case MyString[0], 0 is the FIRST character of any string.

A character value is designated with ' (single quote), like this x character value is written as 'x'.

A string value is designated with " ( double quote), like this x string value is written as "x".

So Substring() method is also does not return a character, Substring() method returns a string!!!

A string is an array of characters, and last character must be '\0' (null) character. Thats the difference between character array and string ( which is an array of characters with last character as "end of string marker" '\0' null.

And also notice that 'x' IS NOT EQUAL to "x". Because "x" is actually 'x'+'\0'.

Assign a class name to <img> tag instead of write it in css file?

I think the Class on img tag is better when You use the same style in different structure on Your site. You have to decide when you write less line of CSS code and HTML is more readable.

Disable all dialog boxes in Excel while running VB script?

In Access VBA I've used this to turn off all the dialogs when running a bunch of updates:

C/C++ NaN constant (literal)?

As others have pointed out you are looking for std::numeric_limits<double>::quiet_NaN() although I have to say I prefer the cppreference.com documents. Especially because this statement is a little vague:

Only meaningful if std::numeric_limits::has_quiet_NaN == true.

and it was simple to figure out what this means on this site, if you check their section on std::numeric_limits::has_quiet_NaN it says:

This constant is meaningful for all floating-point types and is guaranteed to be true if std::numeric_limits::is_iec559 == true.

which as explained here if true means your platform supports IEEE 754 standard. This previous thread explains this should be true for most situations.

Add space between cells (td) using css

You want border-spacing:

<table style="border-spacing: 10px;">

Or in a CSS block somewhere:

CSS for the "down arrow" on a <select> element?

I don't know if it is stylable with CSS (probably not in IE), but please: do not use a "fake" drop-down box using javascript, because the usability of these things usually is horrible. Among other things, keyboard navigation is usually absent.

Get min and max value in PHP Array

For the people using PHP 5.5+ this can be done a lot easier with array_column. Not need for those ugly array_maps anymore.

How to get a max value:

$highest_weight = max(array_column($details, 'Weight'));

How to get the min value

$lowest_weight = min(array_column($details, 'Weight'));

Where will log4net create this log file?

if you want to choose dynamically the path to the log file use the method written in this link: method to dynamic choose the log file path.

if you want you can set the path to where your app EXE file exists like this -

var logFileLocation = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName
(System.Reflection.Assembly.GetEntryAssembly().Location);

and then send this 'logFileLocation' to the method written in the link above like this:

Initialize(logFileLocation);

and you are ready to go! :)

VBA Print to PDF and Save with Automatic File Name

Hopefully this is self explanatory enough. Use the comments in the code to help understand what is happening. Pass a single cell to this function. The value of that cell will be the base file name. If the cell contains "AwesomeData" then we will try and create a file in the current users desktop called AwesomeData.pdf. If that already exists then try AwesomeData2.pdf and so on. In your code you could just replace the lines filename = Application..... with filename = GetFileName(Range("A1"))

Function GetFileName(rngNamedCell As Range) As String
    Dim strSaveDirectory As String: strSaveDirectory = ""
    Dim strFileName As String: strFileName = ""
    Dim strTestPath As String: strTestPath = ""
    Dim strFileBaseName As String: strFileBaseName = ""
    Dim strFilePath As String: strFilePath = ""
    Dim intFileCounterIndex As Integer: intFileCounterIndex = 1

    ' Get the users desktop directory.
    strSaveDirectory = Environ("USERPROFILE") & "\Desktop\"
    Debug.Print "Saving to: " & strSaveDirectory

    ' Base file name
    strFileBaseName = Trim(rngNamedCell.Value)
    Debug.Print "File Name will contain: " & strFileBaseName

    ' Loop until we find a free file number
    Do
        If intFileCounterIndex > 1 Then
            ' Build test path base on current counter exists.
            strTestPath = strSaveDirectory & strFileBaseName & Trim(Str(intFileCounterIndex)) & ".pdf"
        Else
            ' Build test path base just on base name to see if it exists.
            strTestPath = strSaveDirectory & strFileBaseName & ".pdf"
        End If

        If (Dir(strTestPath) = "") Then
            ' This file path does not currently exist. Use that.
            strFileName = strTestPath
        Else
            ' Increase the counter as we have not found a free file yet.
            intFileCounterIndex = intFileCounterIndex + 1
        End If

    Loop Until strFileName <> ""

    ' Found useable filename
    Debug.Print "Free file name: " & strFileName
    GetFileName = strFileName

End Function

The debug lines will help you figure out what is happening if you need to step through the code. Remove them as you see fit. I went a little crazy with the variables but it was to make this as clear as possible.

In Action

My cell O1 contained the string "FileName" without the quotes. Used this sub to call my function and it saved a file.

Sub Testing()
    Dim filename As String: filename = GetFileName(Range("o1"))

    ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A1:N24").ExportAsFixedFormat Type:=xlTypePDF, _
                                              filename:=filename, _
                                              Quality:=xlQualityStandard, _
                                              IncludeDocProperties:=True, _
                                              IgnorePrintAreas:=False, _
                                              OpenAfterPublish:=False
End Sub

Where is your code located in reference to everything else? Perhaps you need to make a module if you have not already and move your existing code into there.

Sum one number to every element in a list (or array) in Python

You can also use map:

a = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1]
b = 1
list(map(lambda x: x + b, a))

It gives:

[2, 2, 2, 2, 2]

Java 8 Stream and operation on arrays

There are new methods added to java.util.Arrays to convert an array into a Java 8 stream which can then be used for summing etc.

int sum =  Arrays.stream(myIntArray)
                 .sum();

Multiplying two arrays is a little more difficult because I can't think of a way to get the value AND the index at the same time as a Stream operation. This means you probably have to stream over the indexes of the array.

//in this example a[] and b[] are same length
int[] a = ...
int[] b = ...

int[] result = new int[a.length];

IntStream.range(0, a.length)
         .forEach(i -> result[i] = a[i] * b[i]);

EDIT

Commenter @Holger points out you can use the map method instead of forEach like this:

int[] result = IntStream.range(0, a.length).map(i -> a[i] * b[i]).toArray();

How to get row number from selected rows in Oracle

you can just do

select rownum, l.* from student l where name like %ram%

this assigns the row number as the rows are fetched (so no guaranteed ordering of course).

if you wanted to order first do:

select rownum, l.*
  from (select * from student l where name like %ram% order by...) l;

Getting attribute of element in ng-click function in angularjs

Addition to the answer of Brett DeWoody: (which is updated now)

var dataValue = obj.srcElement.attributes.data.nodeValue;

Works fine in IE(9+) and Chrome, but Firefox does not know the srcElement property. I found:

var dataValue = obj.currentTarget.attributes.data.nodeValue;

Works in IE, Chrome and FF, I did not test Safari.

Returning an empty array

I'm pretty sure you should go with bar(); because with foo(); it creates a List (for nothing) since you create a new File[0] in the end anyway, so why not go with directly returning it!

How can I convert IPV6 address to IPV4 address?

While there are IPv6 equivalents for the IPv4 address range, you can't convert all IPv6 addresses to IPv4 - there are more IPv6 addresses than there are IPv4 addresses.

The only sane way around this issue is to update your application to be able to understand and store IPv6 addresses.

Creating a SOAP call using PHP with an XML body

First off, you have to specify you wish to use Document Literal style:

$client = new SoapClient(NULL, array(
    'location' => 'https://example.com/path/to/service',
    'uri' => 'http://example.com/wsdl',
    'trace' => 1,
    'use' => SOAP_LITERAL)
);

Then, you need to transform your data into a SoapVar; I've written a simple transform function:

function soapify(array $data)
{
        foreach ($data as &$value) {
                if (is_array($value)) {
                        $value = soapify($value);
                }
        }

        return new SoapVar($data, SOAP_ENC_OBJECT);
}

Then, you apply this transform function onto your data:

$data = soapify(array(
    'Acquirer' => array(
        'Id' => 'MyId',
        'UserId' => 'MyUserId',
        'Password' => 'MyPassword',
    ),
));

Finally, you call the service passing the Data parameter:

$method = 'Echo';

$result = $client->$method(new SoapParam($data, 'Data'));

Show row number in row header of a DataGridView

private void setRowNumber(DataGridView dgv)
{
    foreach (DataGridViewRow row in dgv.Rows)
    {
        row.HeaderCell.Value = (row.Index + 1).ToString();
    }
}

This worked for me.

            jQuery( this ).unwrap( );

How to remove an app with active device admin enabled on Android?

For Redmi users,

Settings -> Password & security -> Privacy -> Special app access -> Device admin apps

Delete last char of string

string.Join is better, but if you really want a LINQ ForEach:

var strgroupids = string.Empty;

groupIds.ForEach(g =>
{
    if(strgroupids != string.Empty){
        strgroupids += ",";
    }

    strgroupids += g;
});

Some notes:

  • string.Join and foreach are both better than this, vastly slower, approach
  • No need to remove the last , since it's never appended
  • The increment operator (+=) is handy for appending to strings
  • .ToString() is unnecessary as it is called automatically when concatenating non-strings
  • When handling large strings, StringBuilder should be considered instead of concatenating strings

Getting the last n elements of a vector. Is there a better way than using the length() function?

I just add here something related. I was wanted to access a vector with backend indices, ie writting something like tail(x, i) but to return x[length(x) - i + 1] and not the whole tail.

Following commentaries I benchmarked two solutions:

accessRevTail <- function(x, n) {
    tail(x,n)[1]
}

accessRevLen <- function(x, n) {
  x[length(x) - n + 1]
}

microbenchmark::microbenchmark(accessRevLen(1:100, 87), accessRevTail(1:100, 87))
Unit: microseconds
                     expr min lq mean median uq max neval
  accessRevLen(1:100, 87)  1.860  2.3775  2.84976  2.803  3.2740   6.755   100
 accessRevTail(1:100, 87) 22.214 23.5295 28.54027 25.112 28.4705 110.833   100

So it appears in this case that even for small vectors, tail is very slow comparing to direct access

reStructuredText tool support

Salvaging (and extending) the list from an old version of the Wikipedia page:

Documentation

Implementations

Although the reference implementation of reStructuredText is written in Python, there are reStructuredText parsers in other languages too.

Python - Docutils

The main distribution of reStructuredText is the Python Docutils package. It contains several conversion tools:

  • rst2html - from reStructuredText to HTML
  • rst2xml - from reStructuredText to XML
  • rst2latex - from reStructuredText to LaTeX
  • rst2odt - from reStructuredText to ODF Text (word processor) document.
  • rst2s5 - from reStructuredText to S5, a Simple Standards-based Slide Show System
  • rst2man - from reStructuredText to Man page

Haskell - Pandoc

Pandoc is a Haskell library for converting from one markup format to another, and a command-line tool that uses this library. It can read Markdown and (subsets of) reStructuredText, HTML, and LaTeX, and it can write Markdown, reStructuredText, HTML, LaTeX, ConTeXt, PDF, RTF, DocBook XML, OpenDocument XML, ODT, GNU Texinfo, MediaWiki markup, groff man pages, and S5 HTML slide shows.

There is an Pandoc online tool (POT) to try this library. Unfortunately, compared to the reStructuredText online renderer (ROR),

  • POT truncates input rather more shortly. The POT user must render input in chunks that could be rendered whole by the ROR.
  • POT output lacks the helpful error messages displayed by the ROR (and generated by docutils)

Java - JRst

JRst is a Java reStructuredText parser. It can currently output HTML, XHTML, DocBook xdoc and PDF, BUT seems to have serious problems: neither PDF or (X)HTML generation works using the current full download, result pages in (X)HTML are empty and PDF generation fails on IO problems with XSL files (not bundled??). Note that the original JRst has been removed from the website; a fork is found on GitHub.

Scala - Laika

Laika is a new library for transforming markup languages to other output formats. Currently it supports input from Markdown and reStructuredText and produce HTML output. The library is written in Scala but should be also usable from Java.

Perl

PHP

C#/.NET

Nim/C

The Nim compiler features the commands rst2htmland rst2tex which transform reStructuredText files to HTML and TeX files. The standard library provides the following modules (used by the compiler) to handle reStructuredText files programmatically:

  • rst - implements a reStructuredText parser
  • rstast - implements an AST for the reStructuredText parser
  • rstgen - implements a generator of HTML/Latex from reStructuredText

Other 3rd party converters

Most (but not all) of these tools are based on Docutils (see above) and provide conversion to or from formats that might not be supported by the main distribution.

From reStructuredText

  • restview - This pip-installable python package requires docutils, which does the actual rendering. restview's major ease-of-use feature is that, when you save changes to your document(s), it automagically re-renders and re-displays them. restview
    1. starts a small web server
    2. calls docutils to render your document(s) to HTML
    3. calls your device's browser to display the output HTML.
  • rst2pdf - from reStructuredText to PDF
  • rst2odp - from reStructuredText to ODF Presentation
  • rst2beamer - from reStructuredText to LaTeX beamer Presentation class
  • Wikir - from reStructuredText to a Google (and possibly other) Wiki formats
  • rst2qhc - Convert a collection of reStructuredText files into a Qt (toolkit) Help file and (optional) a Qt Help Project file

To reStructuredText

  • xml2rst is an XSLT script to convert Docutils internal XML representation (back) to reStructuredText
  • Pandoc (see above) can also convert from Markdown, HTML and LaTeX to reStructuredText
  • db2rst is a simple and limited DocBook to reStructuredText translator
  • pod2rst - convert .pod files to reStructuredText files

Pointer arithmetic for void pointer in C

The C standard does not allow void pointer arithmetic. However, GNU C is allowed by considering the size of void is 1.

C11 standard §6.2.5

Paragraph - 19

The void type comprises an empty set of values; it is an incomplete object type that cannot be completed.

Following program is working fine in GCC compiler.

#include<stdio.h>

int main()
{
    int arr[2] = {1, 2};
    void *ptr = &arr;
    ptr = ptr + sizeof(int);
    printf("%d\n", *(int *)ptr);
    return 0;
}

May be other compilers generate an error.

There are two alternatives that'll work for sure:

  1. Clean your project and then build.

If the above method didn't worked, try the next.

  1. Add the following to build.gradle file at app level

    defaultConfig {

    multiDexEnabled true

    }

How can I make PHP display the error instead of giving me 500 Internal Server Error

Use "php -l <filename>" (that's an 'L') from the command line to output the syntax error that could be causing PHP to throw the status 500 error. It'll output something like:

Executing <script> injected by innerHTML after AJAX call

I had a similiar post here, addEventListener load on ajax load WITHOUT jquery

How I solved it was to insert calls to functions within my stateChange function. The page I had setup was 3 buttons that would load 3 different pages into the contentArea. Because I had to know which button was being pressed to load page 1, 2 or 3, I could easily use if/else statements to determine which page is being loaded and then which function to run. What I was trying to do was register different button listeners that would only work when the specific page was loaded because of element IDs..

so...

if (page1 is being loaded, pageload = 1) run function registerListeners1

then the same for page 2 or 3.

R Apply() function on specific dataframe columns

I think what you want is mapply. You could apply the function to all columns, and then just drop the columns you don't want. However, if you are applying different functions to different columns, it seems likely what you want is mutate, from the dplyr package.

Pass multiple parameters in Html.BeginForm MVC

There are two options here.

  1. a hidden field within the form, or
  2. Add it to the route values parameter in the begin form method.

Edit

@Html.Hidden("clubid", ViewBag.Club.id)

or

 @using(Html.BeginForm("action", "controller",
                       new { clubid = @Viewbag.Club.id }, FormMethod.Post, null)

Position Absolute + Scrolling

So gaiour is right, but if you're looking for a full height item that doesn't scroll with the content, but is actually the height of the container, here's the fix. Have a parent with a height that causes overflow, a content container that has a 100% height and overflow: scroll, and a sibling then can be positioned according to the parent size, not the scroll element size. Here is the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/M5cTN/196/

and the relevant code:

html:

<div class="container">
  <div class="inner">
    Lorem ipsum ...
  </div>
  <div class="full-height"></div>
</div>

css:

.container{
  height: 256px;
  position: relative;
}
.inner{
  height: 100%;
  overflow: scroll;
}
.full-height{
  position: absolute;
  left: 0;
  width: 20%;
  top: 0;
  height: 100%;
}

User GETDATE() to put current date into SQL variable

Just use GetDate() not Select GetDate()

DECLARE @LastChangeDate as date
SET @LastChangeDate = GETDATE()

but if it's SQL Server, you can also initialize in same step as declaration...

DECLARE @LastChangeDate date = getDate()

Switch case in C# - a constant value is expected

You can only match to constants in switch statements.

Example:

switch (variable1)
{
    case 1: // A hard-coded value
        // Code
        break;
    default:
        // Code
        break;
}

Successful!

switch (variable1)
{
    case variable2:
        // Code
        break;
    default:
        // Code
        break;
}

CS0150 A constant value is expected.

Setup a Git server with msysgit on Windows

I did what Bob Murphy suggested was the "hard" option.

I installed Ubuntu under VMWare Server (free) at work and then followed this guide on setting up Gitosis. I found it much easier than trying to get it going under Windows. Once it's set up you really don't have to touch it because Gitosis administration can be done from Windows by pushing updated versions of the gitosis.conf file. Any work I do need to do on the server directly is done via PuTTY so I don't have to use the horrible VMWare Server interface.

I've recently been messing around with VirtualBox at home and I've found it much nicer/easier to work with than VMWare Server, so it may be worth looking at that.

"RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded" Why?

Browsers can't handle that many arguments. See this snippet for example:

alert.apply(window, new Array(1000000000));

This yields RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded which is the same as in your problem.

To solve that, do:

var arr = [];
for(var i = 0; i < 1000000; i++){
    arr.push(Math.random());
}

JUnit Testing Exceptions

are you sure you told it to expect the exception?

for newer junit (>= 4.7), you can use something like (from here)

@Rule
public ExpectedException exception = ExpectedException.none();

@Test
public void testRodneCisloRok(){
    exception.expect(IllegalArgumentException.class);
    exception.expectMessage("error1");
    new RodneCislo("891415",dopocitej("891415"));
}

and for older junit, this:

@Test(expected = ArithmeticException.class)
public void divisionWithException() {
  int i = 1/0;
}

"Unmappable character for encoding UTF-8" error

In eclipse try to go to file properties (Alt+Enter) and change the Resource → 'Text File encoding' → Other to UTF-8. Reopen the file and check there will be junk character somewhere in the string/file. Remove it. Save the file.

Change the encoding Resource → 'Text File encoding' back to Default.

Compile and deploy the code.

Add a new line to the end of a JtextArea

Pandas join issue: columns overlap but no suffix specified

The .join() function is using the index of the passed as argument dataset, so you should use set_index or use .merge function instead.

Please find the two examples that should work in your case:

or

join_df = df_a.merge(df_b, on='mukey', how='left')

How can I get the current date and time in UTC or GMT in Java?

Calendar aGMTCalendar = Calendar.getInstance(TimeZone.getTimeZone("GMT")); Then all operations performed using the aGMTCalendar object will be done with the GMT time zone and will not have the daylight savings time or fixed offsets applied

Wrong!

Calendar aGMTCalendar = Calendar.getInstance(TimeZone.getTimeZone("GMT"));
aGMTCalendar.getTime(); //or getTimeInMillis()

and

Calendar aNotGMTCalendar = Calendar.getInstance(TimeZone.getTimeZone("GMT-2"));aNotGMTCalendar.getTime();

will return the same time. Idem for

new Date(); //it's not GMT.

Twitter Bootstrap vs jQuery UI?

You can use both with relatively few issues. Twitter Bootstrap uses jQuery 1.7.1 (as of this writing), and I can't think of any reasons why you cannot integrate additional Jquery UI components into your HTML templates.

I've been using a combination of HTML5 Boilerplate & Twitter Bootstrap built at Initializr.com. This combines two awesome starter templates into one great starter project. Check out the details at http://html5boilerplate.com/ and http://www.initializr.com/ Or to get started right away, go to http://www.initializr.com/, click the "Bootstrap 2" button, and click "Download It". This will give you all the js and css you need to get started.

And don't be scared off by HTML5 and CSS3. Initializr and HTML5 Boilerplate include polyfills and IE specific code that will allow all features to work in IE 6, 7 8, and 9.

The use of LESS in Twitter Bootstrap is also optional. They use LESS to compile all the CSS that is used by Bootstrap, but if you just want to override or add your own styles, they provide an empty css file for that purpose.

There is also a blank js file (script.js) for you to add custom code. This is where you would add your handlers or selectors for additional jQueryUI components.

C# - using List<T>.Find() with custom objects

You can use find with a Predicate as follows:

list.Find(x => x.Id == IdToFind);

This will return the first object in the list which meets the conditions defined by the predicate (ie in my example I am looking for an object with an ID).

Javascript sleep/delay/wait function

You can use this -

function sleep(milliseconds) {
    var start = new Date().getTime();
    for (var i = 0; i < 1e7; i++) {
        if ((new Date().getTime() - start) > milliseconds){
            break;
        }
    }
}

text flowing out of div

Use

white-space: pre-line;

It will prevent text from flowing out of the div. It will break the text as it reaches the end of the div.

Filter items which array contains any of given values

Whilst this an old question, I ran into this problem myself recently and some of the answers here are now deprecated (as the comments point out). So for the benefit of others who may have stumbled here:

A term query can be used to find the exact term specified in the reverse index:

{
  "query": {
   "term" : { "tags" : "a" }
}

From the documenation https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/query-dsl-term-query.html

Alternatively you can use a terms query, which will match all documents with any of the items specified in the given array:

{
  "query": {
   "terms" : { "tags" : ["a", "c"]}
}

https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/query-dsl-terms-query.html

One gotcha to be aware of (which caught me out) - how you define the document also makes a difference. If the field you're searching in has been indexed as a text type then Elasticsearch will perform a full text search (i.e using an analyzed string).

If you've indexed the field as a keyword then a keyword search using a 'non-analyzed' string is performed. This can have a massive practical impact as Analyzed strings are pre-processed (lowercased, punctuation dropped etc.) See (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/master/term-vs-full-text.html)

To avoid these issues, the string field has split into two new types: text, which should be used for full-text search, and keyword, which should be used for keyword search. (https://www.elastic.co/blog/strings-are-dead-long-live-strings)

Regular expression negative lookahead

Lookarounds can be nested.

So this regex matches "drupal-6.14/" that is not followed by "sites" that is not followed by "/all" or "/default".

Confusing? Using different words, we can say it matches "drupal-6.14/" that is not followed by "sites" unless that is further followed by "/all" or "/default"

Trim Whitespaces (New Line and Tab space) in a String in Oracle

You could use both LTRIM and RTRIM.

select rtrim(ltrim('abcdab','ab'),'ab') from dual;

If you want to trim CHR(13) only when it comes with a CHR(10) it gets more complicated. Firstly, translated the combined string to a single character. Then LTRIM/RTRIM that character, then replace the single character back to the combined string.

select replace(rtrim(ltrim(replace('abccccabcccaab','ab','#'),'#'),'#'),'#','ab') from dual;

Trim last 3 characters of a line WITHOUT using sed, or perl, etc

If the script always outputs lines of 10 characters followed by 3 extra (in other words, you just want the first 10 characters), you can use

script | cut -c 1-10

If it outputs an uncertain number of non-space characters, followed by a space and then 2 other extra characters (in other words, you just want the first field), you can use

script | cut -d ' ' -f 1

... as in majhool's comment earlier. Depending on your platform, you may also have colrm, which, again, would work if the lines are a fixed length:

script | colrm 11

C# Copy a file to another location with a different name

The easiest method you can use is this:

System.IO.File.Replace(string sourceFileName, string destinationFileName, string destinationBackupFileName);

This will take care of everything you requested.

MySQL LIMIT on DELETE statement

There is a workaround to solve this problem by using a derived table.

DELETE t1 FROM test t1 JOIN (SELECT t.id FROM test LIMIT 1) t2 ON t1.id = t2.id

Because the LIMIT is inside the derived table the join will match only 1 row and thus the query will delete only this row.

Android Studio gradle takes too long to build

In your build.gradle, if you have minifyEnabled for debug, remove it. I had it in my project and it took ~2-3 minutes to build. After looking at build progress, I found this as culprit, so deleting the commented line below, my issue was fixed.

buildTypes {
        release {
            minifyEnabled true
            proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
        }//debug{
         //   minifyEnabled true
         //   proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'}

    {
        // Here will block for ever. No exception and timeout!
        WebDriver popup = webDriver.switchTo().window(handle);
        // do something with popup
        popup.close();
    }
}

How do I edit an incorrect commit message in git ( that I've pushed )?

(From http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/GitTips#head-9f87cd21bcdf081a61c29985604ff4be35a5e6c0)

How to change commits deeper in history

Since history in Git is immutable, fixing anything but the most recent commit (commit which is not branch head) requires that the history is rewritten from the changed commit and forward.

You can use StGIT for that, initialize branch if necessary, uncommitting up to the commit you want to change, pop to it if necessary, make a change then refresh patch (with -e option if you want to correct commit message), then push everything and stg commit.

Or you can use rebase to do that. Create new temporary branch, rewind it to the commit you want to change using git reset --hard, change that commit (it would be top of current head), then rebase branch on top of changed commit, using git rebase --onto .

Or you can use git rebase --interactive, which allows various modifications like patch re-ordering, collapsing, ...

I think that should answer your question. However, note that if you have pushed code to a remote repository and people have pulled from it, then this is going to mess up their code histories, as well as the work they've done. So do it carefully.

Setting state on componentDidMount()

According to the React Documentation it's perfectly OK to call setState() from within the componentDidMount() function.

It will cause render() to be called twice, which is less efficient than only calling it once, but other than that it's perfectly fine.

You can find the documentation here:

https://reactjs.org/docs/react-component.html#componentdidmount

Here is the excerpt from the documentation:

You may call setState() immediately in componentDidMount(). It will trigger an extra rendering, but it will happen before the browser updates the screen. This guarantees that even though the render() will be called twice in this case, the user won’t see the intermediate state. Use this pattern with caution because it often causes performance issues...

convert epoch time to date

Please take care that the epoch time is in second and Date object accepts Long value which is in milliseconds. Hence you would have to multiply epoch value with 1000 to use it as long value . Like below :-

SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyyMMddhhmmss");
sdf.setTimeZone(TimeZone.getTimeZone(timeZone));
Long dateLong=Long.parseLong(sdf.format(epoch*1000));

Python unittest passing arguments

Another method for those who really want to do this in spite of the correct remarks that you shouldn't:

import unittest

class MyTest(unittest.TestCase):

    def __init__(self, testName, extraArg):
        super(MyTest, self).__init__(testName) # calling the super class init varies for different python versions. This works for 2.7
        self.myExtraArg = extraArg

    def test_something(self):
        print(self.myExtraArg)

# call your test
suite = unittest.TestSuite()
suite.addTest(MyTest('test_something', extraArg))
unittest.TextTestRunner(verbosity=2).run(suite)

Applying a single font to an entire website with CSS

As a different font is likely to be already defined by the browser for form elements, here are 2 ways to use this font everywhere:

body, input, textarea {
    font-family: Algerian;
}

body {
    font-family: Algerian !important;
}

There'll still have a monospace font on elements like pre/code, kbd, etc but, in case you use these elements, you'd better use a monospace font there.

Important note: if very few people has this font installed on their OS, then the second font in the list will be used. Here you defined no second font so the default serif font will be used, and it'll be Times, Times New Roman except maybe on Linux.
Two options there: use @font-face if your font is free of use as a downloadable font or add fallback(s): a second, a third, etc and finally a default family (sans-serif, cursive (*), monospace or serif). The first of the list that exists on the OS of the user will be used.

(*) default cursive on Windows is Comic Sans. Except if you want to troll Windows users, don't do that :) This font is terrible except for your children birthdays where it's welcome.

Android: adbd cannot run as root in production builds

You have to grant the Superuser right to the shell app (com.anroid.shell). In my case, I use Magisk to root my phone Nexsus 6P (Oreo 8.1). So I can grant Superuser right in the Magisk Manager app, whih is in the left upper option menu.

In my case setting the referenced object to NULL in my object before the merge o save method solve the problem, in my case the referenced object was catalog, that doesn't need to be saved, because in some cases I don't have it even.

Accessing Websites through a Different Port?

No, as the server decides what port it is run on. Perhaps you could install a proxy, which would redirect the port, but in the end the connection would be made on port 80 from your machine.

ASP.Net MVC: Calling a method from a view

This is how you call an instance method on the Controller:

@{

This is how you call a static method in any class

@{

}

This will work assuming the method is public and visible to the view.

How do I update zsh to the latest version?

If you're not using Homebrew, this is what I just did on MAC OS X Lion (10.7.5):

  1. Get the latest version of the ZSH sourcecode

  2. Untar the download into its own directory then install: ./configure && make && make test && sudo make install

  3. This installs the the zsh binary at /usr/local/bin/zsh.

  4. You can now use the shell by loading up a new terminal and executing the binary directly, but you'll want to make it your default shell...

  5. To make it your default shell you must first edit /etc/shells and add the new path. Then you can either run chsh -s /usr/local/bin/zsh or go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > right click your user > Advanced Options... > and then change "Login shell".

  6. Load up a terminal and check you're now in the correct version with echo $ZSH_VERSION. (I wasn't at first, and it took me a while to figure out I'd configured iTerm to use a specific shell instead of the system default).

How can I get stock quotes using Google Finance API?

The problem with Yahoo and Google data is that it violates terms of service if you're using it for commercial use. When your site/app is still small it's not biggie, but as soon as you grow a little you start getting cease and desists from the exchanges. A licensed solution example is FinancialContent: http://www.financialcontent.com/json.php or Xignite

Access a JavaScript variable from PHP

try adding this to your js function:

    var outputvar = document.getElementById("your_div_id_inside_html_form");
    outputvar.innerHTML='<input id=id_to_send_to_php value='+your_js_var+'>';

Later in html:

    <div id="id_you_choosed_for_outputvar"></div>

this div will contain the js var to be passed through a form to another js function or to php, remember to place it inside your html form!. This solution is working fine for me.

In your specific geolocation case you can try adding the following to function showPosition(position):

    var outputlon = document.getElementById("lon1");
    outputlon.innerHTML = '<input id=lon value='+lon+'>';
    var outputlat = document.getElementById("lat1");
    outputlat.innerHTML = '<input id=lat value='+lat+'>';

later add these div to your html form:

<div id=lat1></div>
<div id=lon1></div>

In these div you'll get latitude and longitude as input values for your php form, you would better hide them using css (show only the marker on a map if used) in order to avoid users to change them before to submit, and set your database to accept float values with lenght 10,7.

Hope this will help.

How to copy part of an array to another array in C#?

In case if you want to implement your own Array.Copy method.

Static method which is of generic type.

 static void MyCopy<T>(T[] sourceArray, long sourceIndex, T[] destinationArray, long destinationIndex, long copyNoOfElements)
 {
  long totaltraversal = sourceIndex + copyNoOfElements;
  long sourceArrayLength = sourceArray.Length;

  //to check all array's length and its indices properties before copying
  CheckBoundaries(sourceArray, sourceIndex, destinationArray, copyNoOfElements, sourceArrayLength);
   for (long i = sourceIndex; i < totaltraversal; i++)
     {
      destinationArray[destinationIndex++] = sourceArray[i];
     }
  }

Boundary method implementation.

private static void CheckBoundaries<T>(T[] sourceArray, long sourceIndex, T[] destinationArray, long copyNoOfElements, long sourceArrayLength)
        {
            if (sourceIndex >= sourceArray.Length)
            {
                throw new IndexOutOfRangeException();
            }
            if (copyNoOfElements > sourceArrayLength)
            {
                throw new IndexOutOfRangeException();
            }
            if (destinationArray.Length < copyNoOfElements)
            {
                throw new IndexOutOfRangeException();
            }
        }

Open-Source Examples of well-designed Android Applications?

All of the applications delivered with Android (Calendar, Contacts, Email, etc) are all open-source, but not part of the SDK. The source for those projects is here: https://android.googlesource.com/ (look at /platform/packages/apps). I've referred to those sources several times when I've used an application on my phone and wanted to see how a particular feature was implemented.

visual c++: #include files from other projects in the same solution

Since both projects are under the same solution, there's a simpler way for the include files and linker as described in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/build/adding-references-in-visual-cpp-projects?view=vs-2019 :

  1. The include can be written in a relative path (E.g. #include "../libProject/libHeader.h").
  2. For the linker, right click on "References", Click on Add Reference, and choose the other project.

Detect if user is scrolling

You just said javascript in your tags, so @Wampie Driessen post could helps you.

I want also to contribute, so you can use the following when using jQuery if you need it.

 //Firefox
 $('#elem').bind('DOMMouseScroll', function(e){
     if(e.detail > 0) {
         //scroll down
         console.log('Down');
     }else {
         //scroll up
         console.log('Up');
     }

     //prevent page fom scrolling
     return false;
 });

 //IE, Opera, Safari
 $('#elem').bind('mousewheel', function(e){
     if(e.wheelDelta< 0) {
         //scroll down
         console.log('Down');
     }else {
         //scroll up
         console.log('Up');
     }

     //prevent page fom scrolling
     return false;
 });

Another example:

$(function(){
    var _top = $(window).scrollTop();
    var _direction;
    $(window).scroll(function(){
        var _cur_top = $(window).scrollTop();
        if(_top < _cur_top)
        {
            _direction = 'down';
        }
        else
        {
            _direction = 'up';
        }
        _top = _cur_top;
        console.log(_direction);
    });
});?

Speed tradeoff of Java's -Xms and -Xmx options

This was always the question I had when I was working on one of my application which created massive number of threads per request.

So this is a really good question and there are two aspects of this:
1. Whether my Xms and Xmx value should be same
       - Most websites and even oracle docs suggest it to be the same. However, I suggest to have some 10-20% of buffer between those values to give heap resizing an option to your application in case sudden high traffic spikes OR a incidental memory leak.

2. Whether I should start my Application with lower heap size
       - So here's the thing - no matter what GC Algo you use (even G1), large heap always has some trade off. The goal is to identify the behavior of your application to what heap size you can allow your GC pauses in terms of latency and throughput.
              - For example, if your application has lot of threads (each thread has 1 MB stack in native memory and not in heap) but does not occupy heavy object space, then I suggest have a lower value of Xms.
              - If your application creates lot of objects with increasing number of threads, then identify to what value of Xms you can set to tolerate those STW pauses. This means identify the max response time of your incoming requests you can tolerate and according tune the minimum heap size.

How to trigger event in JavaScript?

If you don't want to use jQuery and aren't especially concerned about backwards compatibility, just use:

let element = document.getElementById(id);
element.dispatchEvent(new Event("change")); // or whatever the event type might be

See the documentation here and here.

EDIT: Depending on your setup you might want to add bubbles: true:

let element = document.getElementById(id);
element.dispatchEvent(new Event('change', { 'bubbles': true }));

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token u in JSON at position 0

As @Seth Holladay @MinusFour commented, you are parsing an undefined variable.
Try adding an if condition before doing the parse.

if (typeof test1 !== 'undefined') { test2 = JSON.parse(test1); }

Note: This is just a check for undefined case. Any other parsing issues still need to be handled.

Appending a line to a file only if it does not already exist

Just keep it simple :)

grep + echo should suffice:

Edit: incorporated @cerin and @thijs-wouters suggestions.

jQuery .val change doesn't change input value

This is just a possible scenario which happened to me. Well if it helps someone then great: I wrote a complicated app which somewhere along the code I used a function to clear all textboxes values before showing them. Sometime later I tried to set a textbox value using jquery val('value') but I did'nt notice that right after that I invoked the ClearAllInputs method.. so, this could also happen.

How can I conditionally import an ES6 module?

Looks like the answer is that, as of now, you can't.

http://exploringjs.com/es6/ch_modules.html#sec_module-loader-api

I think the intent is to enable static analysis as much as possible, and conditionally imported modules break that. Also worth mentioning -- I'm using Babel, and I'm guessing that System is not supported by Babel because the module loader API didn't become an ES6 standard.

How can I make a TextBox be a "password box" and display stars when using MVVM?

I did the below from the Views codebehind to set my property within the view model. Not sure if it really " breaks" the MVVM pattern but its the best and least complexe solution found.

  var data = this.DataContext as DBSelectionViewModel;

        data.PassKey = txtPassKey.Password;
