You can animate it after the fadeIn completes using the callback as shown below:
$("#Friends").fadeIn('slow',function(){
$(this).animate({'top': '-=30px'},'slow');
});
I used 'extern "C"' before for dll(dynamic link library) files to make etc. main() function "exportable" so it can be used later in another executable from dll. Maybe an example of where I used to use it can be useful.
DLL
#include <string.h>
#include <windows.h>
using namespace std;
#define DLL extern "C" __declspec(dllexport)
//I defined DLL for dllexport function
DLL main ()
{
MessageBox(NULL,"Hi from DLL","DLL",MB_OK);
}
EXE
#include <string.h>
#include <windows.h>
using namespace std;
typedef LPVOID (WINAPI*Function)();//make a placeholder for function from dll
Function mainDLLFunc;//make a variable for function placeholder
int main()
{
char winDir[MAX_PATH];//will hold path of above dll
GetCurrentDirectory(sizeof(winDir),winDir);//dll is in same dir as exe
strcat(winDir,"\\exmple.dll");//concentrate dll name with path
HINSTANCE DLL = LoadLibrary(winDir);//load example dll
if(DLL==NULL)
{
FreeLibrary((HMODULE)DLL);//if load fails exit
return 0;
}
mainDLLFunc=(Function)GetProcAddress((HMODULE)DLL, "main");
//defined variable is used to assign a function from dll
//GetProcAddress is used to locate function with pre defined extern name "DLL"
//and matcing function name
if(mainDLLFunc==NULL)
{
FreeLibrary((HMODULE)DLL);//if it fails exit
return 0;
}
mainDLLFunc();//run exported function
FreeLibrary((HMODULE)DLL);
}
In some browsers:
flex:1;
does not equal flex:1 1 0;
flex:1;
= flex:1 1 0n;
(where n is a length unit).
The key point here is that flex-basis requires a length unit.
In Chrome for example flex:1
and flex:1 1 0
produce different results. In most circumstances it may appear that flex:1 1 0;
is working but let's examine what really happens:
Flex basis is ignored and only flex-grow and flex-shrink are applied.
flex:1 1 0;
= flex:1 1;
= flex:1;
This may at first glance appear ok however if the applied unit of the container is nested; expect the unexpected!
Try this example in CHROME

It should be noted that this fails because some browsers have failed to adhere to the specification.
Browsers that use the full flex specification:
Latest versions of Chrome seem to have finally rectified this issue but other browsers still have not.
Tested and working in Chrome Ver 74.

For me it was because I forgot to use the new
keyword when setting up Animated state.
eg:
fadeAnim: Animated.Value(0),
to
fadeAnim: new Animated.Value(0),
would fix it.
I reworked Doug Glancy's solution to avoid rows deletion, which can lead to #Ref issue in formulae.
Sub ListReset(lst As ListObject)
'clears a listObject while leaving row 1 empty, with formulae
With lst
If .ShowAutoFilter Then .AutoFilter.ShowAllData
On Error Resume Next
With .DataBodyRange
.Offset(1).Rows.Clear
.Rows(1).SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants).ClearContents
End With
On Error GoTo 0
.Resize .Range.Rows("1:2")
End With
End Sub

I tried almost all of this. but still couldn't work. Finally I found it was because of 24bitmap problems. If you tried some bitmap which less than 24bit. Most of those above methods should work.
Calculate the intersection point of the lines laying on your segments (it means basically to solve a linear equation system), then check whether is it between the starting and ending points of your segments.

Silly answer but if you can't figure out why its not redirecting check that the following is enabled for the web folder ..
AllowOverride All
This will enable you to run htaccess which must be running! (there are alternatives but not on will cause problems https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/core.html#allowoverride)
You could only write one where clause.
SELECT table1.f_id FROM table1
INNER JOIN table2
ON table2.f_id = table1.f_id
where table1.f_com_id = '430' AND
table1.f_status = 'Submitted' AND table2.f_type = 'InProcess'
The initial problem is that the the configuration specifies a property suffix=".jsp"
so the ViewResolver implementing class will add .jsp
to the end of the view name being returned from your method.
However since you commented out the InternalResourceViewResolver
then, depending on the rest of your application configuration, there might not be any other ViewResolver registered. You might find that nothing is working now.
Since .html
files are static and do not require processing by a servlet then it is more efficient, and simpler, to use an <mvc:resources/>
mapping. This requires Spring 3.0.4+.
For example:
<mvc:resources mapping="/static/**" location="/static/" />
which would pass through all requests starting with /static/
to the webapp/static/
directory.
So by putting index.html
in webapp/static/
and using return "static/index.html";
from your method, Spring should find the view.
In 2021 - use ES6 Template Literals for this task. If you need IE11 Support - use a transpiler.
let a = `something something`;
Template Literals are fast, powerful and produce cleaner code.
If you need IE11 support and you don't have transpiler, stay strong and use \xa0
- it is a NO-BREAK SPACE char.
Reference from UTF-8 encoding table and Unicode characters, you can write as below:
var a = 'something' + '\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0\xa0' + 'something';
Google guides me here but it didn't fix mine, this is a very general question and there are various causes, so I post my problem and solution here for reference in case anyone might read this later.
Another possible cause of 500 error is syntax error in header(...)
function, like this one:
header($_SERVER['SERVER_PROTOCOL'] . '200 OK');
Be aware there should be space between server protocol and status code, so it should be:
header($_SERVER['SERVER_PROTOCOL'] . ' 200 OK');
So I suggest check your http header call if you have it in your code.
The best precision you can possibly get is through the use of the x86-only "rdtsc" instruction, which can provide clock-level resolution (ne must of course take into account the cost of the rdtsc call itself, which can be measured easily on application startup).
The main catch here is measuring the number of clocks per second, which shouldn't be too hard.
In case you would like to use timeout middleware and exclude a specific route:
var timeout = require('connect-timeout');
app.use(timeout('5s')); //set 5s timeout for all requests
app.use('/my_route', function(req, res, next) {
req.clearTimeout(); // clear request timeout
req.setTimeout(20000); //set a 20s timeout for this request
next();
}).get('/my_route', function(req, res) {
//do something that takes a long time
});
Quite simply, that string is not valid JSON. As the error says, JSON documents need to use double quotes.
You need to fix the source of the data.
For example:
$(document).on('click','span.external-link',function(){
var t = $(this),
URL = t.attr('data-href');
$('<a href="'+ URL +'" target="_blank">External Link</a>')[0].click();
});
Working example.
Use a list instead and replace your foreach
loop with a for
loop:
@model IList<BlockedIPViewModel>
@using (Html.BeginForm())
{
@Html.AntiForgeryToken()
@for (var i = 0; i < Model.Count; i++)
{
<tr>
<td>
@Html.HiddenFor(x => x[i].IP)
@Html.CheckBoxFor(x => x[i].Checked)
</td>
<td>
@Html.DisplayFor(x => x[i].IP)
</td>
</tr>
}
<div>
<input type="submit" value="Unblock IPs" />
</div>
}
Alternatively you could use an editor template:
@model IEnumerable<BlockedIPViewModel>
@using (Html.BeginForm())
{
@Html.AntiForgeryToken()
@Html.EditorForModel()
<div>
<input type="submit" value="Unblock IPs" />
</div>
}
and then define the template ~/Views/Shared/EditorTemplates/BlockedIPViewModel.cshtml
which will automatically be rendered for each element of the collection:
@model BlockedIPViewModel
<tr>
<td>
@Html.HiddenFor(x => x.IP)
@Html.CheckBoxFor(x => x.Checked)
</td>
<td>
@Html.DisplayFor(x => x.IP)
</td>
</tr>
The reason you were getting null in your controller is because you didn't respect the naming convention for your input fields that the default model binder expects to successfully bind to a list. I invite you to read the following article
.
Once you have read it, look at the generated HTML (and more specifically the names of the input fields) with my example and yours. Then compare and you will understand why yours doesn't work.
TL;DR: To access newer versions of mysql/mariadb after as the root user, after a new install, you need to be in a root shell (ie sudo mysql -u root
, or mysql -u root
inside a shell started by su -
or sudo -i
first)
Having just done the same upgrade, on Ubuntu, I had the same issue.
What was odd was that
sudo /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation
Would accept my password, and allow me to set it, but I couldn't log in as root
via the mysql
client
I had to start mariadb with
sudo mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables
to get access as root, whilst all the other users could still access fine.
Looking at the mysql.user
table I noticed for root the plugin
column is set to unix_socket
whereas all other users it is set to 'mysql_native_password'. A quick look at this page: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/unix_socket-authentication-plugin/ explains that the Unix Socket enables logging in by matching uid
of the process running the client with that of the user in the mysql.user
table. In other words to access mariadb as root
you have to be logged in as root.
Sure enough restarting my mariadb daemon with authentication required I can login as root with
sudo mysql -u root -p
or
sudo su -
mysql -u root -p
Having done this I thought about how to access without having to do the sudo, which is just a matter of running these mysql queries
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES on *.* to 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '<password>';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
(replacing <password>
with your desired mysql root password). This enabled password logins for the root user.
Alternatively running the mysql query:
UPDATE mysql.user SET plugin = 'mysql_native_password' WHERE user = 'root' AND plugin = 'unix_socket';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
Will change the root account to use password login without changing the password, but this may leave you with a mysql/mariadb install with no root password on it.
After either of these you need to restarting mysql/mariadb:
sudo service mysql restart
And voila I had access from my personal account via mysql -u root -p
PLEASE NOTE THAT DOING THIS IS REDUCING SECURITY Presumably the MariaDB developers have opted to have root access work like this for a good reason.
Thinking about it I'm quite happy to have to sudo mysql -u root -p
so I'm switching back to that, but I thought I'd post my solution as I couldn't find one elsewhere.
I think this function is missed here in previous answers:
.val( function(index, value) )
UPDATE 23/Dec/2015: Since this answer seems to be getting a lot of upvotes, I've updated it to fix silly bugs and to generally improve the code based upon comments and feedback. See the end of the post for a list of specific improvements.
As other people have said, Cryptography is not simple so it's best to avoid "rolling your own" encryption algorithm.
You can, however, "roll your own" wrapper class around something like the built-in RijndaelManaged
cryptography class.
Rijndael is the algorithmic name of the current Advanced Encryption Standard, so you're certainly using an algorithm that could be considered "best practice".
The RijndaelManaged
class does indeed normally require you to "muck about" with byte arrays, salts, keys, initialization vectors etc. but this is precisely the kind of detail that can be somewhat abstracted away within your "wrapper" class.
The following class is one I wrote a while ago to perform exactly the kind of thing you're after, a simple single method call to allow some string-based plaintext to be encrypted with a string-based password, with the resulting encrypted string also being represented as a string. Of course, there's an equivalent method to decrypt the encrypted string with the same password.
Unlike the first version of this code, which used the exact same salt and IV values every time, this newer version will generate random salt and IV values each time. Since salt and IV must be the same between the encryption and decryption of a given string, the salt and IV is prepended to the cipher text upon encryption and extracted from it again in order to perform the decryption. The result of this is that encrypting the exact same plaintext with the exact same password gives and entirely different ciphertext result each time.
The "strength" of using this comes from using the RijndaelManaged
class to perform the encryption for you, along with using the Rfc2898DeriveBytes function of the System.Security.Cryptography
namespace which will generate your encryption key using a standard and secure algorithm (specifically, PBKDF2) based upon the string-based password you supply. (Note this is an improvement of the first version's use of the older PBKDF1 algorithm).
Finally, it's important to note that this is still unauthenticated encryption. Encryption alone provides only privacy (i.e. message is unknown to 3rd parties), whilst authenticated encryption aims to provide both privacy and authenticity (i.e. recipient knows message was sent by the sender).
Without knowing your exact requirements, it's difficult to say whether the code here is sufficiently secure for your needs, however, it has been produced to deliver a good balance between relative simplicity of implementation vs "quality". For example, if your "receiver" of an encrypted string is receiving the string directly from a trusted "sender", then authentication may not even be necessary.
If you require something more complex, and which offers authenticated encryption, check out this post for an implementation.

{
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
Console.WriteLine("Please enter a password to use:");
string password = Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine("Please enter a string to encrypt:");

Console.WriteLine("");
Console.WriteLine("Your encrypted string is:");
string encryptedstring = StringCipher.Encrypt(plaintext, password);
Console.WriteLine(encryptedstring);
Console.WriteLine("");
Console.WriteLine("Your decrypted string is:");
string decryptedstring = StringCipher.Decrypt(encryptedstring, password);
Console.WriteLine(decryptedstring);
Console.WriteLine("");
Console.WriteLine("Press any key to exit...");
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}

It creates the complete source files that you would need.

Remove a block of code from multiple files
To expand on @Markus Olsson's answer, I needed to remove a block of code from multiple files. I had problems with Swedish characters in a core project, so I needed to install System.Text.CodePagesEncodingProvider nuget package and use System.Text.Encoding.GetEncoding(1252) instead of System.Text.Encoding.UTF8.
public static void Main(string[] args)
{
try
{
var dir = @"C:\Test";
//Get all html and htm files
var files = DirSearch(dir);
foreach (var file in files)
{
RmCode(file);
}
}
catch (Exception e)
{
Console.WriteLine(e.Message);
throw;
}
}
private static void RmCode(string file)
{
string tempFile = Path.GetTempFileName();
using (var sr = new StreamReader(file, Encoding.UTF8))
using (var sw = new StreamWriter(new FileStream(tempFile, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.ReadWrite), Encoding.UTF8))
{
string line;
var startOfBadCode = "<div>";
var endOfBadCode = "</div>";
var deleteLine = false;
while ((line = sr.ReadLine()) != null)
{
if (line.Contains(startOfBadCode))
{
deleteLine = true;
}
if (!deleteLine)
{
sw.WriteLine(line);
}
if (line.Contains(endOfBadCode))
{
deleteLine = false;
}
}
}
File.Delete(file);
File.Move(tempFile, file);
}
private static List<String> DirSearch(string sDir)
{
List<String> files = new List<String>();
try
{
foreach (string f in Directory.GetFiles(sDir))
{
files.Add(f);
}
foreach (string d in Directory.GetDirectories(sDir))
{
files.AddRange(DirSearch(d));
}
}
catch (System.Exception excpt)
{
Console.WriteLine(excpt.Message);
}
return files.Where(s => s.EndsWith(".htm") || s.EndsWith(".html")).ToList();
}
The most complete, concise definition of false I've come across is:
Anything that stringifies to the empty string or the string
0
is false. Everything else is true.
Therefore, the following values are false:
Keep in mind that an empty list literal evaluates to an undefined value in scalar context, so it evaluates to something false.
A note on "true zeroes"
While numbers that stringify to 0
are false, strings that numify to zero aren't necessarily. The only false strings are 0
and the empty string. Any other string, even if it numifies to zero, is true.
The following are strings that are true as a boolean and zero as a number:
"0.0"
"0E0"
"00"
"+0"
"-0"
" 0"
"0\n"
".0"
"0."
"0 but true"
"\t00"
"\n0e1"
"+0.e-9"
Scalar::Util::looks_like_number
returns false. (e.g. "abc"
):1,.d
deletes lines 1 to current.
:1,.-1d
deletes lines 1 to above current.
(Personally I'd use dgg
or kdgg
like the other answers, but TMTOWTDI.)
In addition to what Tichodroma said, you might end up using this syntax:
outputString=$(python myPythonScript arg1 arg2 arg3)
To iterate through all the inputs in a form you can do this:
$("form#formID :input").each(function(){
var input = $(this); // This is the jquery object of the input, do what you will
});
This uses the jquery :input selector to get ALL types of inputs, if you just want text you can do :
$("form#formID input[type=text]")//...
etc.
I believe i have found the answer, This code converts the integer to a hex string an removes the alpha.
Integer intColor = -16895234;
String hexColor = "#" + Integer.toHexString(intColor).substring(2);
Note only use this code if you are sure that removing the alpha would not affect anything.
You may have more than one org.springframework.beans.factory.config.PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer
in your application. Try setting a breakpoint on the setLocations
method of the superclass and see if it's called more than once at application startup. If there is more than one org.springframework.beans.factory.config.PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer
, you might need to look at configuring the ignoreUnresolvablePlaceholders
property so that your application will start up cleanly.
The modern approach uses the java.time classes that supplanted the troublesome legacy date-time classes bundled with the earliest versions of Java.
The java.sql.Timestamp
class is one of those legacy classes. No longer needed. Instead use Instant
or other java.time classes directly with your database using JDBC 4.2 and later.
The Instant
class represents a moment on the timeline in UTC with a resolution of nanoseconds (up to nine (9) digits of a decimal fraction).
Instant instant = myResultSet.getObject( … , Instant.class ) ;
If you must interoperate with an existing Timestamp
, convert immediately into java.time via the new conversion methods added to the old classes.
Instant instant = myTimestamp.toInstant() ;
To adjust into another time zone, specify the time zone as a ZoneId
object. Specify a proper time zone name in the format of continent/region
, such as America/Montreal
, Africa/Casablanca
, or Pacific/Auckland
. Never use the 3-4 letter pseudo-zones such as EST
or IST
as they are not true time zones, not standardized, and not even unique(!).
ZoneId z = ZoneId.of( "America/Montreal" ) ;
Apply to the Instant
to produce a ZonedDateTime
object.
ZonedDateTime zdt = instant.atZone( z ) ;
To generate a string for display to the user, search Stack Overflow for DateTimeFormatter
to find many discussions and examples.
Your Question is really about going the other direction, from user data-entry to the date-time objects. Generally best to break your data-entry into two parts, a date and a time-of-day.
LocalDate ld = LocalDate.parse( dateInput , DateTimeFormatter.ofPattern( "M/d/uuuu" , Locale.US ) ) ;
LocalTime lt = LocalTime.parse( timeInput , DateTimeFormatter.ofPattern( "H:m a" , Locale.US ) ) ;
Your Question is not clear. Do you want to interpret the date and the time entered by the user to be in UTC? Or in another time zone?
If you meant UTC, create a OffsetDateTime
with an offset using the constant for UTC, ZoneOffset.UTC
.
OffsetDateTime odt = OffsetDateTime.of( ld , lt , ZoneOffset.UTC ) ;
If you meant another time zone, combine along with a time zone object, a ZoneId
. But which time zone? You might detect a default time zone. Or, if critical, you must confirm with the user to be certain of their intention.
ZonedDateTime zdt = ZonedDateTime.of( ld , lt , z ) ;
To get a simpler object that is always in UTC by definition, extract an Instant
.
Instant instant = odt.toInstant() ;
…or…
Instant instant = zdt.toInstant() ;
Send to your database.
myPreparedStatement.setObject( … , instant ) ;
The java.time framework is built into Java 8 and later. These classes supplant the troublesome old legacy date-time classes such as java.util.Date
, Calendar
, & SimpleDateFormat
.
The Joda-Time project, now in maintenance mode, advises migration to the java.time classes.
To learn more, see the Oracle Tutorial. And search Stack Overflow for many examples and explanations. Specification is JSR 310.
Where to obtain the java.time classes?
The ThreeTen-Extra project extends java.time with additional classes. This project is a proving ground for possible future additions to java.time. You may find some useful classes here such as Interval
, YearWeek
, YearQuarter
, and more.
showbookimage.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(View v) {
// create intent with ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE action
Intent intent = new Intent(MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE);
/**
Here REQUEST_IMAGE is the unique integer value you can pass it any integer

// start camera activity
startActivityForResult(intent, TAKE_PICTURE);

then u can now give the image a file name as follows and then convert it into bitmap and later on to file
private void createImageFile(Bitmap bitmap) throws IOException {

Don't bother checking if the file exists, just try to remove it.
rm -f /p/a/t/h
# or
rm /p/a/t/h 2> /dev/null
Note that the second command will fail (return a non-zero exit status) if the file did not exist, but the first will succeed owing to the -f
(short for --force
) option. Depending on the situation, this may be an important detail.
But more likely, if you are appending to the file it is because your script is using >>
to redirect something into the file. Just replace >>
with >
. It's hard to say since you've provided no code.
Note that you can do something like test -f /p/a/t/h && rm /p/a/t/h
, but doing so is completely pointless. It is quite possible that the test will return true but the /p/a/t/h will fail to exist before you try to remove it, or worse the test will fail and the /p/a/t/h will be created before you execute the next command which expects it to not exist. Attempting this is a classic race condition. Don't do it.
Or you could just pass a string of delimited items and put it into an array or list on the receiving end.
Unless the OP is using PowerShell Community Extensions which does provide a Start-Process cmdlet along with a bunch of others. If this the case then Glennular's solution works a treat since it matches the positional parameters of pscx\start-process : -path (position 1) -arguments (positon 2).
On OSX Mavericks:
Make your shell script executable:
chmod +x your-shell-script.sh
Rename your script to have a .app
suffix:
mv your-shell-script.sh your-shell-script.app
Rename your script back to a .sh
suffix:
mv your-shell-script.app your-shell-script.sh
Now when you click on the script in the dock, A terminal window will pop up and execute your script.
Bonus: To get the terminal to close when your script has completed, add exit 0
to the end and change the terminal settings to "close the shell if exited cleanly" like it says to do in this SO answer.
In C the char type has a numeric value so the > operator will work just fine for example
#include <stdio.h>
main() {
char a='z';
char b='h';
if ( a > b ) {
printf("%c greater than %c\n",a,b);
}
}
Basically, it depends on the TableModel that you are using for your JTable. If you are using the DefaultTableModel
then you can do it in two ways:
DefaultTableModel dm = (DefaultTableModel)table.getModel();
dm.getDataVector().removeAllElements();
dm.fireTableDataChanged(); // notifies the JTable that the model has changed
or
DefaultTableModel dm = (DefaultTableModel)table.getModel();
while(dm.getRowCount() > 0)
{
dm.removeRow(0);
}
See the JavaDoc of DefaultTableModel for more details
I'll slightly expand @assylias answer to take time zone into account. There are at least two ways to get LocalDateTime for specific time zone.
You can use setDefault time zone for whole application. It should be called before any timestamp -> java.time conversion:
public static void main(String... args) {
TimeZone utcTimeZone = TimeZone.getTimeZone("UTC");
TimeZone.setDefault(utcTimeZone);
...
timestamp.toLocalDateTime().toLocalDate();
}
Or you can use toInstant.atZone chain:
timestamp.toInstant()
.atZone(ZoneId.of("UTC"))
.toLocalDate();
The issue here is that JSON, as a format, is generally parsed in full and then handled in-memory, which for such a large amount of data is clearly problematic.
The solution to this is to work with the data as a stream - reading part of the file, working with it, and then repeating.
The best option appears to be using something like ijson - a module that will work with JSON as a stream, rather than as a block file.
Edit: Also worth a look - kashif's comment about json-streamer
and Henrik Heino's comment about bigjson
.
There's nothing wrong with saving the whole history in the database, they are prepared for that kind of tasks.
Actually you can find here in Stack Overflow a link to an example schema for a chat: example
If you are still worried for the size, you could apply some optimizations to group messages, like adding a buffer to your application that you only push after some time (like 1 minute or so); that way you would avoid having only 1 line messages
paste
is good for this job:
paste -d " " - - < filename
Difference between show() and css({'display':'block'})
Assuming you have this at the beginning:
<span id="thisElement" style="display: none;">Foo</span>
when you call:
$('#thisElement').show();
you will get:
<span id="thisElement" style="">Foo</span>
while:
$('#thisElement').css({'display':'block'});
does:
<span id="thisElement" style="display: block;">Foo</span>
so, yes there's a difference.
Difference between hide() and css({'display':'none'})
same as above but change these into hide() and display':'none'......
Another difference
When .hide()
is called the value of the display property is saved in jQuery's data cache, so when .show()
is called, the initial display value is restored!
Simple method:
public Calendar stringToCalendar(String date, String pattern) throws ParseException {
String DEFAULT_LOCALE_NAME = "pt";
String DEFAULT_COUNTRY = "BR";
Locale DEFAULT_LOCALE = new Locale(DEFAULT_LOCALE_NAME, DEFAULT_COUNTRY);
SimpleDateFormat format = new SimpleDateFormat(pattern, LocaleUtils.DEFAULT_LOCALE);
Date d = format.parse(date);
Calendar c = getCalendar();
c.setTime(d);
return c;
}
This sometimes does not work if Eclipse is on one of those strange default windows paths (e.g. c:/Program files (86)/Eclipse
).
In that case, do as above, then move the lombok jar to a cleaner path without spaces and braces (e.g. c:\lombok\lombok.jar
) and modify eclipse.ini accordingly.
I Just created an extension for this... Sorry about formatting (this is my first answer).
Usage:
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
self.navigationController?.hideShadow = true
}
Extension:
UINavigationController.swift
// Created by Ricardo López Rey on 16/7/15.
import Foundation
struct UINavigationControllerExtension {
static var hideShadowKey : String = "HideShadow"
static let backColor = UIColor(red: 247/255, green: 247/255, blue: 248/255, alpha: 1.0)
}
extension UINavigationController {
var hideShadow : Bool {
get {
if let ret = objc_getAssociatedObject(self, &UINavigationControllerExtension.hideShadowKey) as? Bool {
return ret
} else {
return false
}
}
set {
objc_setAssociatedObject(self,&UINavigationControllerExtension.hideShadowKey,newValue, objc_AssociationPolicy(OBJC_ASSOCIATION_RETAIN_NONATOMIC))
if newValue {
self.navigationBar.setBackgroundImage(solidImage(UINavigationControllerExtension.backColor), forBarMetrics: UIBarMetrics.Default)
self.navigationBar.shadowImage = solidImage(UIColor.clearColor())
} else {
self.navigationBar.setBackgroundImage(nil, forBarMetrics: UIBarMetrics.Default)
}
}
}
private func solidImage(color: UIColor, size: CGSize = CGSize(width: 1,height: 1)) -> UIImage {
var rect = CGRectMake(0, 0, size.width, size.height)
UIGraphicsBeginImageContextWithOptions(size, false, 0)
color.setFill()
UIRectFill(rect)
var image: UIImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext()
UIGraphicsEndImageContext()
return image
}
}
If you want device ID information use TelephonyManager. Here is the link for that :

For some reason, I couldn't find a general example of how to do this with Queue
anywhere (even Python's doc examples don't spawn multiple processes), so here's what I got working after like 10 tries:
def add_helper(queue, arg1, arg2): # the func called in child processes
ret = arg1 + arg2
queue.put(ret)
def multi_add(): # spawns child processes
q = Queue()
processes = []
rets = []
for _ in range(0, 100):
p = Process(target=add_helper, args=(q, 1, 2))
processes.append(p)
p.start()
for p in processes:
ret = q.get() # will block
rets.append(ret)
for p in processes:
p.join()
return rets
Queue
is a blocking, thread-safe queue that you can use to store the return values from the child processes. So you have to pass the queue to each process. Something less obvious here is that you have to get()
from the queue before you join
the Process
es or else the queue fills up and blocks everything.
Update for those who are object-oriented (tested in Python 3.4):
from multiprocessing import Process, Queue
class Multiprocessor():
def __init__(self):
self.processes = []
self.queue = Queue()
@staticmethod
def _wrapper(func, queue, args, kwargs):
ret = func(*args, **kwargs)
queue.put(ret)
def run(self, func, *args, **kwargs):
args2 = [func, self.queue, args, kwargs]
p = Process(target=self._wrapper, args=args2)
self.processes.append(p)
p.start()
def wait(self):
rets = []
for p in self.processes:
ret = self.queue.get()
rets.append(ret)
for p in self.processes:
p.join()
return rets
# tester
if __name__ == "__main__":
mp = Multiprocessor()
num_proc = 64
for _ in range(num_proc): # queue up multiple tasks running `sum`
mp.run(sum, [1, 2, 3, 4, 5])
ret = mp.wait() # get all results
print(ret)
assert len(ret) == num_proc and all(r == 15 for r in ret)
A shorter answer from here, adapted to this question:
var arr = $('.requiredText');
arr.each(function(index, item) {
var is_last_item = (index == (arr.length - 1));
});
Just for completeness.
Here are the approximate zoom levels and what they do :
1: World
5: Landmass/continent
10: City
15: Streets
20: Buildings
so you could do something like this to zoom to street level for example (note the "15f" below is street level) :
override fun onMapReady(googleMap: GoogleMap?) {
googleMap?.mapType = GoogleMap.MAP_TYPE_NORMAL
googleMap?.addMarker(MarkerOptions()
.position(LatLng(37.4233438, -122.0728817))
.title("cool place")
.icon(BitmapDescriptorFactory.defaultMarker(BitmapDescriptorFactory.HUE_ROSE)))
googleMap?.animateCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.newLatLngZoom(LatLng(37.4233438, -122.0728817), 15f))
note: just so you know different locations can have different max zoom levels. try to use googleMap.maxZoomLevel
if you want to get the max or min zoom levels.
I did some test to see how the theory actually works: kennethxu.blogspot.com/2009/05/interlocked-vs-monitor-performance.html. My test was more focused on CompareExchnage but the result for Increment is similar. Interlocked is not necessary faster in multi-cpu environment. Here is the test result for Increment on a 2 years old 16 CPU server. Bare in mind that the test also involves the safe read after increase, which is typical in real world.
D:\>InterlockVsMonitor.exe 16
Using 16 threads:
InterlockAtomic.RunIncrement (ns): 8355 Average, 8302 Minimal, 8409 Maxmial
MonitorVolatileAtomic.RunIncrement (ns): 7077 Average, 6843 Minimal, 7243 Maxmial
D:\>InterlockVsMonitor.exe 4
Using 4 threads:
InterlockAtomic.RunIncrement (ns): 4319 Average, 4319 Minimal, 4321 Maxmial
MonitorVolatileAtomic.RunIncrement (ns): 933 Average, 802 Minimal, 1018 Maxmial
Options:
data.Seek
as suggested by ken2kUse the somewhat simpler Position
property:
data.Position = 0;
Use the ToArray
call in MemoryStream
to make your life simpler to start with:
byte[] buf = data.ToArray();
The third option would be my preferred approach.
Note that you should have a using
statement to close the file stream automatically (and optionally for the MemoryStream
), and I'd add a using directive for System.IO
to make your code cleaner:
byte[] buf;
using (MemoryStream data = new MemoryStream())
{
using (Stream file = TestStream())
{
file.CopyTo(data);
buf = data.ToArray();
}
}
// Use buf
You might also want to create an extension method on Stream
to do this for you in one place, e.g.
public static byte[] CopyToArray(this Stream input)
{
using (MemoryStream memoryStream = new MemoryStream())
{
input.CopyTo(memoryStream);
return memoryStream.ToArray();
}
}
Note that this doesn't close the input stream.
Using not a
to test whether a
is None
assumes that the other possible values of a
have a truth value of True
. However, most NumPy arrays don't have a truth value at all, and not
cannot be applied to them.
If you want to test whether an object is None
, the most general, reliable way is to literally use an is
check against None
:
if a is None:
...
else:
...
This doesn't depend on objects having a truth value, so it works with NumPy arrays.
Note that the test has to be is
, not ==
. is
is an object identity test. ==
is whatever the arguments say it is, and NumPy arrays say it's a broadcasted elementwise equality comparison, producing a boolean array:
>>> a = numpy.arange(5)
>>> a == None
array([False, False, False, False, False])
>>> if a == None:
... pass
...
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ValueError: The truth value of an array with more than one element is ambiguous.
Use a.any() or a.all()
On the other side of things, if you want to test whether an object is a NumPy array, you can test its type:
# Careful - the type is np.ndarray, not np.array. np.array is a factory function.
if type(a) is np.ndarray:
...
else:
...
You can also use isinstance
, which will also return True
for subclasses of that type (if that is what you want). Considering how terrible and incompatible np.matrix
is, you may not actually want this:
# Again, ndarray, not array, because array is a factory function.
if isinstance(a, np.ndarray):
...
else:
...
For the sake of defensive programming, objects should be checked against nullity before using.
if obj is None:
or
if obj is not None:
An alternative way without the [<-
function:
A sample data frame dat
(shamelessly copied from @Chase's answer):
dat
x y
1 0 2
2 1 2
3 1 1
4 2 1
5 0 0
Zeroes can be replaced with NA
by the is.na<-
function:
is.na(dat) <- !dat
dat
x y
1 NA 2
2 1 2
3 1 1
4 2 1
5 NA NA
You forgot to add the global operator. Use this:
var s = "04.07.2012";_x000D_
alert(s.replace(new RegExp("[0-9]","g"), "X"));
_x000D_
you need to place the opening brace after main
, not before it
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <time.h>
int main(void)
{
The value of the certificate comes mostly from the trust of the internet users in the issuer of the certificate. To that end, Verisign is tough to beat. A certificate says to the client that you are who you say you are, and the issuer has verified that to be true.
You can get a free SSL certificate signed, for example, by StartSSL. This is an improvement on self-signed certificates, because your end-users would stop getting warning pop-ups informing them of a suspicious certificate on your end. However, the browser bar is not going to turn green when communicating with your site over https, so this solution is not ideal.
The cheapest SSL certificate that turns the bar green will cost you a few hundred dollars, and you would need to go through a process of proving the identity of your company to the issuer of the certificate by submitting relevant documents.

How do I check if something is (not) in a list in Python?
The cheapest and most readable solution is using the in
operator (or in your specific case, not in
). As mentioned in the documentation,
The operators
in
andnot in
test for membership.x in s
evaluates toTrue
ifx
is a member ofs
, andFalse
otherwise.x not in s
returns the negation ofx in s
.
Additionally,
The operator
not in
is defined to have the inverse true value ofin
.
y not in x
is logically the same as not y in x
.
Here are a few examples:
'a' in [1, 2, 3]
# False
'c' in ['a', 'b', 'c']
# True
'a' not in [1, 2, 3]
# True
'c' not in ['a', 'b', 'c']
# False
This also works with tuples, since tuples are hashable (as a consequence of the fact that they are also immutable):
(1, 2) in [(3, 4), (1, 2)]
# True
If the object on the RHS defines a __contains__()
method, in
will internally call it, as noted in the last paragraph of the Comparisons section of the docs.
...
in
andnot in
, are supported by types that are iterable or implement the__contains__()
method. For example, you could (but shouldn't) do this:
[3, 2, 1].__contains__(1)
# True
in
short-circuits, so if your element is at the start of the list, in
evaluates faster:
lst = list(range(10001))
%timeit 1 in lst
%timeit 10000 in lst # Expected to take longer time.
68.9 ns ± 0.613 ns per loop (mean ± std. dev. of 7 runs, 10000000 loops each)
178 µs ± 5.01 µs per loop (mean ± std. dev. of 7 runs, 10000 loops each)
If you want to do more than just check whether an item is in a list, there are options:
list.index
can be used to retrieve the index of an item. If that element does not exist, a ValueError
is raised.list.count
can be used if you want to count the occurrences.set
s?Ask yourself these questions:
hash
on them?If you answered "yes" to these questions, you should be using a set
instead. An in
membership test on list
s is O(n) time complexity. This means that python has to do a linear scan of your list, visiting each element and comparing it against the search item. If you're doing this repeatedly, or if the lists are large, this operation will incur an overhead.
set
objects, on the other hand, hash their values for constant time membership check. The check is also done using in
:
1 in {1, 2, 3}
# True
'a' not in {'a', 'b', 'c'}
# False
(1, 2) in {('a', 'c'), (1, 2)}
# True
If you're unfortunate enough that the element you're searching/not searching for is at the end of your list, python will have scanned the list upto the end. This is evident from the timings below:
l = list(range(100001))
s = set(l)
%timeit 100000 in l
%timeit 100000 in s
2.58 ms ± 58.9 µs per loop (mean ± std. dev. of 7 runs, 100 loops each)
101 ns ± 9.53 ns per loop (mean ± std. dev. of 7 runs, 10000000 loops each)
As a reminder, this is a suitable option as long as the elements you're storing and looking up are hashable. IOW, they would either have to be immutable types, or objects that implement __hash__
.
I was having this exact problem, the above solutions didn't make much sense to me.
My Solution:
Turn of Bluetooth! Worked a treat ..
After connecting my macbook pro to iphone5 (hotspot) I started getting error message, after turning of bluetooth the error message is gone ..Hope that helps somebody!
This post is a little bit old, but here is another easy solution for getting data related to SMS
content provider in Android:
Use this lib: https://github.com/EverythingMe/easy-content-providers
Get all SMS
:
TelephonyProvider telephonyProvider = new TelephonyProvider(context);
List<Sms> smses = telephonyProvider.getSms(Filter.ALL).getList();
Each Sms has all fields, so you can get any info you need:
address, body, receivedDate, type(INBOX, SENT, DRAFT, ..), threadId, ...
Gel all MMS
:
List<Mms> mmses = telephonyProvider.getMms(Filter.ALL).getList();
Gel all Thread
:
List<Thread> threads = telephonyProvider.getThreads().getList();
Gel all Conversation
:
List<Conversation> conversations = telephonyProvider.getConversations().getList();
It works with List

Does this help?
http://www.quirksmode.org/js/iframe.html
I only tested this in firefox, but if you have something like this:
<iframe name='myframe' id='myframe' src='http://www.google.com'></iframe>
You can get its address by using:
document.getElementById('myframe').src
Not sure if I understood your question correctly but anyways :)
There are two ways to sum of a column
dataset = pd.read_csv("data.csv")
1: sum(dataset.Column_name)
2: dataset['Column_Name'].sum()
If there is any issue in this the please correct me..
I was able to fix and understand my issue when I tried to go to the swagger.json URL location:
https://localhost:XXXXX/swagger/v1/swagger.json
The page will show the error and reason why it is not found.
In my case, I saw that there was a misconfigured XML definition of one of my methods based on the error it returned:
NotSupportedException: HTTP method "GET" & path "api/Values/{id}" overloaded by actions - ...

As previously multiple solutions mentioned to disable security through commenting of
@EnableWebSecurity
annotation and other is through properties in application.properties or yml. But those properties are showing as deprecated in latest spring boot version.
So, I would like to share another approach to configure default username and password in your application-dev.properties or application-dev.yml and use them to login into swagger and etc in development environment.
spring.security.user.name=admin
spring.security.user.password=admin
So, this approach will also provides you some kind of security as well and you can share this information with your development team. You can also configure user roles as well, but its not required in development level.
Apart from checking 'Import Maven projects automatically', make sure that settings.xml file from File > Settings > Maven > User Settings file exist, If doesn't exist then override and provide your settings.xml file path.
Sometimes the dependencies don't update even with Maven->Update Project->Force Update option checked using m2eclipse plugin.
In case it doesn't work for anyone else, this method worked for me:
mvn eclipse:eclipse
This will update your .classpath file with the new dependencies while preserving your .project settings and other eclipse config files.
If you want to clear your old settings for whatever reason, you can run:
mvn eclipse:clean
mvn eclipse:eclipse
mvn eclipse:clean will erase your old settings, then mvn eclipse:eclipse will create new .project, .classpath and other eclipse config files.
From Stack Overflow question What is the Python 3 equivalent of "python -m SimpleHTTPServer":
The following works for me:
python -m http.server [<portNo>]
Because I am using Python 3 the module SimpleHTTPServer
has been replaced by http.server
, at least in Windows.
Which version of .NET are you using? If it's .NET 3.5, I'd just call ToArray()
and be done with it.
If you only have a non-generic IEnumerable, do something like this:
IEnumerable query = ...;
MyEntityType[] array = query.Cast<MyEntityType>().ToArray();
If you don't know the type within that method but the method's callers do know it, make the method generic and try this:
public static void T[] PerformQuery<T>()
{
IEnumerable query = ...;
T[] array = query.Cast<T>().ToArray();
return array;
}
The original question was:
What is the fastest way to know if a value exists in a list (a list with millions of values in it) and what its index is?
Thus there are two things to find:
Towards this, I modified @xslittlegrass code to compute indexes in all cases, and added an additional method.
Results
Methods are:
Results show that method 5 is the fastest.
Interestingly the try and the set methods are equivalent in time.

Here is an example to fully programmatically:
I am using the following class vars:
Spinner varSpinner;
List<String> varSpinnerData;
float varScaleX;
float varScaleY;
A - Init and render the Spinner (varRoot is a pointer to my main Activity):
public void renderSpinner() {
List<String> myArraySpinner = new ArrayList<String>();
myArraySpinner.add("red");
myArraySpinner.add("green");
myArraySpinner.add("blue");
varSpinnerData = myArraySpinner;
Spinner mySpinner = new Spinner(varRoot);
varSpinner = mySpinner;
ArrayAdapter<String> spinnerArrayAdapter = new ArrayAdapter<String>(varRoot, android.R.layout.simple_spinner_item, myArraySpinner);
spinnerArrayAdapter.setDropDownViewResource(android.R.layout.simple_spinner_dropdown_item); // The drop down vieww
mySpinner.setAdapter(spinnerArrayAdapter);
B - Resize and Add the Spinner to my View:
FrameLayout.LayoutParams myParamsLayout = new FrameLayout.LayoutParams(
FrameLayout.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT,
FrameLayout.LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT);
myParamsLayout.gravity = Gravity.NO_GRAVITY;
myParamsLayout.leftMargin = (int) (100 * varScaleX);
myParamsLayout.topMargin = (int) (350 * varScaleY);
myParamsLayout.width = (int) (300 * varScaleX);;
myParamsLayout.height = (int) (60 * varScaleY);;
varLayoutECommerce_Dialogue.addView(mySpinner, myParamsLayout);
C - Make the Click handler and use this to set the font.
mySpinner.setOnItemSelectedListener(new OnItemSelectedListener() {
@Override
public void onItemSelected(AdapterView<?> parentView, View selectedItemView, int myPosition, long myID) {
Log.i("renderSpinner -> ", "onItemSelected: " + myPosition + "/" + myID);
((TextView) parentView.getChildAt(0)).setTextColor(Color.GREEN);
((TextView) parentView.getChildAt(0)).setTextSize(TypedValue.COMPLEX_UNIT_PX, (int) (varScaleY * 22.0f) );
((TextView) parentView.getChildAt(0)).setPadding(1,1,1,1);
}
@Override
public void onNothingSelected(AdapterView<?> parentView) {
// your code here
}
});
}
D - Update the Spinner with new data:
private void updateInitSpinners(){
String mySelected = varSpinner.getSelectedItem().toString();
Log.i("TPRenderECommerce_Dialogue -> ", "updateInitSpinners -> mySelected: " + mySelected);
varSpinnerData.clear();
varSpinnerData.add("Hello World");
varSpinnerData.add("Hello World 2");
((BaseAdapter) varSpinner.getAdapter()).notifyDataSetChanged();
varSpinner.invalidate();
varSpinner.setSelection(1);
}
}
What I have not been able to solve in the updateInitSpinners, is to do varSpinner.setSelection(0); and have the custom font settings activated automatically.
UPDATE:
This "ugly" solution solves the varSpinner.setSelection(0); issue, but I am not very happy with it:
private void updateInitSpinners(){
String mySelected = varSpinner.getSelectedItem().toString();
Log.i("TPRenderECommerce_Dialogue -> ", "updateInitSpinners -> mySelected: " + mySelected);
varSpinnerData.clear();
ArrayAdapter<String> spinnerArrayAdapter = new ArrayAdapter<String>(varRoot, android.R.layout.simple_spinner_item, varSpinnerData);
spinnerArrayAdapter.setDropDownViewResource(android.R.layout.simple_spinner_dropdown_item);
varSpinner.setAdapter(spinnerArrayAdapter);
varSpinnerData.add("Hello World");
varSpinnerData.add("Hello World 2");
((BaseAdapter) varSpinner.getAdapter()).notifyDataSetChanged();
varSpinner.invalidate();
varSpinner.setSelection(0);
}
}
Hope this helps......
I am working on JUnit in java 8 environment, using jUnit4.12
for me: compiler was not able to find the method assertNotEquals, even when I used
import org.junit.Assert;
So I changed assertNotEquals("addb", string);
toAssert.assertNotEquals("addb", string);
So if you are facing problem regarding assertNotEqual
not recognized, then change it to Assert.assertNotEquals(,);
it should solve your problem
A trap is an exception in a user process. It's caused by division by zero or invalid memory access. It's also the usual way to invoke a kernel routine (a system call) because those run with a higher priority than user code. Handling is synchronous (so the user code is suspended and continues afterwards). In a sense they are "active" - most of the time, the code expects the trap to happen and relies on this fact.
An interrupt is something generated by the hardware (devices like the hard disk, graphics card, I/O ports, etc). These are asynchronous (i.e. they don't happen at predictable places in the user code) or "passive" since the interrupt handler has to wait for them to happen eventually.
You can also see a trap as a kind of CPU-internal interrupt since the handler for trap handler looks like an interrupt handler (registers and stack pointers are saved, there is a context switch, execution can resume in some cases where it left off).
JSON.parse
All of the answers here use JSON.parse()
in an unsafe way.
You should always put all calls to JSON.parse()
in a try/catch
block especially when you parse JSON coming from an external source, like you do here.
You can use request
to parse the JSON automatically which wasn't mentioned here in other answers. There is already an answer using request
module but it uses JSON.parse()
to manually parse JSON - which should always be run inside a try {} catch {}
block to handle errors of incorrect JSON or otherwise the entire app will crash. And incorrect JSON happens, trust me.
Other answers that use http
also use JSON.parse()
without checking for exceptions that can happen and crash your application.
Below I'll show few ways to handle it safely.
All examples use a public GitHub API so everyone can try that code safely.
request
Here's a working example with request
that automatically parses JSON:
'use strict';
var request = require('request');
var url = 'https://api.github.com/users/rsp';
request.get({
url: url,
json: true,
headers: {'User-Agent': 'request'}
}, (err, res, data) => {
if (err) {
console.log('Error:', err);
} else if (res.statusCode !== 200) {
console.log('Status:', res.statusCode);
} else {
// data is already parsed as JSON:
console.log(data.html_url);
}
});
http
and try/catch
This uses https
- just change https
to http
if you want HTTP connections:
'use strict';
var https = require('https');
var options = {
host: 'api.github.com',
path: '/users/rsp',
headers: {'User-Agent': 'request'}
};
https.get(options, function (res) {
var json = '';
res.on('data', function (chunk) {
json += chunk;
});
res.on('end', function () {
if (res.statusCode === 200) {
try {
var data = JSON.parse(json);
// data is available here:
console.log(data.html_url);
} catch (e) {
console.log('Error parsing JSON!');
}
} else {
console.log('Status:', res.statusCode);
}
});
}).on('error', function (err) {
console.log('Error:', err);
});
http
and tryjson
This example is similar to the above but uses the tryjson
module. (Disclaimer: I am the author of that module.)
'use strict';
var https = require('https');
var tryjson = require('tryjson');
var options = {
host: 'api.github.com',
path: '/users/rsp',
headers: {'User-Agent': 'request'}
};
https.get(options, function (res) {
var json = '';
res.on('data', function (chunk) {
json += chunk;
});
res.on('end', function () {
if (res.statusCode === 200) {
var data = tryjson.parse(json);
console.log(data ? data.html_url : 'Error parsing JSON!');
} else {
console.log('Status:', res.statusCode);
}
});
}).on('error', function (err) {
console.log('Error:', err);
});
The example that uses request
is the simplest. But if for some reason you don't want to use it then remember to always check the response code and to parse JSON safely.
Implement an interface to call your function in your method
interface IMyInterface
{
void MyinterfaceMethod();
}
IMyInterface MyObj = obj as IMyInterface;
if ( MyObj != null)
{
MyMethod(IMyInterface MyObj );
}
Use the --prefix
or -p
option to specify where to write the environment files. For example:
conda create --prefix /tmp/test-env python=2.7
Will create the environment named /tmp/test-env
which resides in /tmp/
instead of the default .conda
.
$('#checkbox').on('change', function(){
$('p').css('color', this.checked ? '#09f' : '');

If you are so lost for read the last comment. I have reached another solution.
The main problem is the way that you named the services names.
In this case, if in your docker-compose.yml
, the service for php are called "api" or something like that, you must ensure that in the file nginx.conf
the line that begins with fastcgi_pass
have the same name as the php service. i.e fastcgi_pass api:9000;

getClass().getResource()
uses the class loader to load the resource. This means that the resource must be in the classpath to be loaded.
When doing it with Eclipse, everything you put in the source folder is "compiled" by Eclipse:
When launching the program with Eclipse, the bin directory is thus in the classpath, and since it contains the Test.properties file, this file can be loaded by the class loader, using getResource()
or getResourceAsStream()
.
If it doesn't work from the command line, it's thus because the file is not in the classpath.
Note that you should NOT do
FileInputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(new File(getClass().getResource(url).toURI()));
to load a resource. Because that can work only if the file is loaded from the file system. If you package your app into a jar file, or if you load the classes over a network, it won't work. To get an InputStream, just use
getClass().getResourceAsStream("Test.properties")
And finally, as the documentation indicates,
Foo.class.getResourceAsStream("Test.properties")
will load a Test.properties file located in the same package as the class Foo.
Foo.class.getResourceAsStream("/com/foo/bar/Test.properties")
will load a Test.properties file located in the package com.foo.bar
.
Here is a little work around that I created. I checked it with R and it works correct.

Other way to get the minor version is:

It doesn't have to be a war. Harmony is possible.
Use one table for the overall layout and divs inside it.
<table>
<tr><td colspan="3"><div>Top content</div></td></tr>
<tr>
<td><div>Left navigation</div></td>
<td><div>Main content</div></td>
<td><div>Right navigation</div></td>

<tr><td colspan="3"><div>Bottom content</div></td></tr>

Look - no nested tables.
I have read so many articles on how to achieve this with divs but have never found anything that works every time with no issues.
Divs are great once you have the overall structure but quite frankly, fluid header/footer and three fluid columns is a total pain in divs. Divs weren't designed for fluidity so why use them?

Some threads do background tasks, like sending keepalive packets, or performing periodic garbage collection, or whatever. These are only useful when the main program is running, and it's okay to kill them off once the other, non-daemon, threads have exited.
Without daemon threads, you'd have to keep track of them, and tell them to exit, before your program can completely quit. By setting them as daemon threads, you can let them run and forget about them, and when your program quits, any daemon threads are killed automatically.

I did some research on this by using different methods to assign values to a nullable int. Here is what happened when I did various things. Should clarify what's going on.
Keep in mind: Nullable<something>
or the shorthand something?
is a struct for which the compiler seems to be doing a lot of work to let us use with null as if it were a class.
As you'll see below, SomeNullable == null
and SomeNullable.HasValue
will always return an expected true or false. Although not demonstrated below, SomeNullable == 3
is valid too (assuming SomeNullable is an int?
).
While SomeNullable.Value
gets us a runtime error if we assigned null
to SomeNullable
. This is in fact the only case where nullables could cause us a problem, thanks to a combination of overloaded operators, overloaded object.Equals(obj)
method, and compiler optimization and monkey business.
Here is a description of some code I ran, and what output it produced in labels:
int? val = null;
lbl_Val.Text = val.ToString(); //Produced an empty string.
lbl_ValVal.Text = val.Value.ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
lbl_ValEqNull.Text = (val == null).ToString(); //Produced "True" (without the quotes)
lbl_ValNEqNull.Text = (val != null).ToString(); //Produced "False"
lbl_ValHasVal.Text = val.HasValue.ToString(); //Produced "False"
lbl_NValHasVal.Text = (!(val.HasValue)).ToString(); //Produced "True"
lbl_ValValEqNull.Text = (val.Value == null).ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
lbl_ValValNEqNull.Text = (val.Value != null).ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
Ok, lets try the next initialization method:
int? val = new int?();
lbl_Val.Text = val.ToString(); //Produced an empty string.
lbl_ValVal.Text = val.Value.ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
lbl_ValEqNull.Text = (val == null).ToString(); //Produced "True" (without the quotes)
lbl_ValNEqNull.Text = (val != null).ToString(); //Produced "False"
lbl_ValHasVal.Text = val.HasValue.ToString(); //Produced "False"
lbl_NValHasVal.Text = (!(val.HasValue)).ToString(); //Produced "True"
lbl_ValValEqNull.Text = (val.Value == null).ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
lbl_ValValNEqNull.Text = (val.Value != null).ToString(); //Produced a runtime error. ("Nullable object must have a value.")
All the same as before. Keep in mind that initializing with int? val = new int?(null);
, with null passed to the constructor, would have produced a COMPILE time error, since the nullable object's VALUE is NOT nullable. It is only the wrapper object itself that can equal null.
Likewise, we would get a compile time error from:
int? val = new int?();
val.Value = null;
not to mention that val.Value
is a read-only property anyway, meaning we can't even use something like:
val.Value = 3;
but again, polymorphous overloaded implicit conversion operators let us do:
val = 3;
No need to worry about polysomthing whatchamacallits though, so long as it works right? :)

There is a limit on the number of half-open connections, but afaik not for active connections. Although it appears to depend on the type of Windows 2008 server, at least according to this MSFT employee:
It depends on the edition, Web and Foundation editions have connection limits while Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter do not.
I know this is an old question, but I just want to throw this out there that you can still use File.Create("filename")"
, just add .Dispose()
to it.
File.Create("filename").Dispose();
This way it creates and closes the file for the next process to use it.
As BMSAndroidDroid said, this problem may be caused by a wrong build path configuration.
If you included some libraries to your build path, then move the libraries, the build path will conserve the wrong references, will not found the libraries during compilation and you will get an error.
To fix it, right click on your project folder > build path > configure build path Then take a look to the library tab, and remove the old libraries.
Here's my solution if you created the repository with some default readme file
or license

Well, to start with List<T>
does have the FindAll
and ConvertAll
methods - but the more idiomatic, modern approach is to use LINQ:
// Find all the people older than 30
var query1 = list.Where(person => person.Age > 30);
// Find each person's name
var query2 = list.Select(person => person.Name);
You'll need a using directive in your file to make this work:
using System.Linq;
Note that these don't use strings to express predicates and projects - they use delegates, usually created from lambda expressions as above.
If lambda expressions and LINQ are new to you, I would suggest you get a book covering LINQ first, such as LINQ in Action, Pro LINQ, C# 4 in a Nutshell or my own C# in Depth. You certainly can learn LINQ just from web tutorials, but I think it's such an important technology, it's worth taking the time to learn it thoroughly.
You can do:
setContentPane(new JLabel(new ImageIcon("resources/taverna.jpg")));
At first line of the Jframe class constructor, that works fine for me
The first version will add a new KeyValuePair to the dictionary, throwing if key is already in the dictionary. The second, using the indexer, will add a new pair if the key doesn't exist, but overwrite the value of the key if it already exists in the dictionary.
IDictionary<string, string> strings = new Dictionary<string, string>();
strings["foo"] = "bar"; //strings["foo"] == "bar"
strings["foo"] = string.Empty; //strings["foo"] == string.empty
strings.Add("foo", "bar"); //throws
If the object you are trying to cast from or to has properties that are also user-defined classes, and you don't want to go through reflection, you can use this.
<?php
declare(strict_types=1);
namespace Your\Namespace\Here
{
use Zend\Logger; // or your logging mechanism of choice
final class OopFunctions
{
/**
* @param object $from
* @param object $to
* @param Logger $logger
*
* @return object
*/
static function Cast($from, $to, $logger)
{
$logger->debug($from);
$fromSerialized = serialize($from);
$fromName = get_class($from);
$toName = get_class($to);
$toSerialized = str_replace($fromName, $toName, $fromSerialized);
$toSerialized = preg_replace("/O:\d*:\"([^\"]*)/", "O:" . strlen($toName) . ":\"$1", $toSerialized);
$toSerialized = preg_replace_callback(
"/s:\d*:\"[^\"]*\"/",
function ($matches)
{
$arr = explode(":", $matches[0]);
$arr[1] = mb_strlen($arr[2]) - 2;
return implode(":", $arr);
},
$toSerialized
);
$to = unserialize($toSerialized);
$logger->debug($to);
return $to;
}
}
}
I think I see your problem, you need to use the @
syntax to define parameters you will pass in this way, also I'm not sure what loginID or password are doing you don't seem to define them anywhere and they are not being used as URL parameters so are they being sent as query parameters?
This is what I can suggest based on what I see so far:
.factory('MagComments', function ($resource) {
return $resource('http://localhost/dooleystand/ci/api/magCommenct/:id', {
loginID : organEntity,
password : organCommpassword,
id : '@magId'
});
})
The @magId
string will tell the resource to replace :id
with the property magId
on the object you pass it as parameters.
I'd suggest reading over the documentation here (I know it's a bit opaque) very carefully and looking at the examples towards the end, this should help a lot.
Choose either form-data or urlencoded and use the same key "user_ids". The server should receive it as an array.
@Temporal
is a JPA annotation which can be used to store in the database table on of the following column items:
java.sql.Date
)java.sql.Time
)java.sql.Timestamp
)Generally when we declare a Date
field in the class and try to store it.
It will store as TIMESTAMP in the database.
@Temporal
private Date joinedDate;
Above code will store value looks like 08-07-17 04:33:35.870000000 PM
If we want to store only the DATE in the database,
We can use/define TemporalType
.
@Temporal(TemporalType.DATE)
private Date joinedDate;
This time, it would store 08-07-17 in database
There are some other attributes as well as @Temporal
which can be used based on the requirement.
Here is another way to do this - using the API function WideCharToMultiByte:

The variation of the context processor I use is:
from django.contrib.sites.shortcuts import get_current_site
from django.utils.functional import SimpleLazyObject
def site(request):
return {
'site': SimpleLazyObject(lambda: get_current_site(request)),
}
The SimpleLazyObject
wrapper makes sure the DB call only happens when the template actually uses the site
object. This removes the query from the admin pages. It also caches the result.
and include it in the settings:
TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS = (
...
"module.context_processors.site",
....
)
In the template, you can use {{ site.domain }}
to get the current domain name.
edit: to support protocol switching too, use:
def site(request):
site = SimpleLazyObject(lambda: get_current_site(request))
protocol = 'https' if request.is_secure() else 'http'
return {
'site': site,
'site_root': SimpleLazyObject(lambda: "{0}://{1}".format(protocol, site.domain)),
}
Just supply -s to your read call like so:
$ read -s PASSWORD
$ echo $PASSWORD
Store it either in a cookie (if it's acceptable for your situation), or in a session variable.
session_start();
if ( !isset( $_SESSION["origURL"] ) )
$_SESSION["origURL"] = $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"];
> sudo nano /etc/mysql/my.cnf
Enter below
[mysqld]
sql_mode = ""
Ctrl + O => Y = Ctrl + X
> sudo service mysql restart
Indent correctly; your for
statement should be inside the with
block:
import csv
with open('v.csv', 'w') as csvfile:
cwriter = csv.writer(csvfile, delimiter=' ', quotechar='|', quoting=csv.QUOTE_MINIMAL)
for w, c in p.items():
cwriter.writerow(w + c)
Outside the with
block, the file is closed.
>>> with open('/tmp/1', 'w') as f:
... print(f.closed)
...
False
>>> print(f.closed)
True
My solution:
Try to find if this is an inodes problem with:
df -ih
Try to find root folders with large inodes count:
for i in /*; do echo $i; find $i |wc -l; done
Try to find specific folders:
for i in /src/*; do echo $i; find $i |wc -l; done
If this is linux headers, try to remove oldest with:
sudo apt-get autoremove linux-headers-3.13.0-24
Personally I moved them to a mounted folder (because for me last command failed) and installed the latest with:
sudo apt-get autoremove -f
This solved my problem.
You can use rsplit
string.rsplit('delimeter',1)[1]
To get the string from reverse.
The best and simple approach is by using the data-dismiss
attribute. Basically the data-dismiss
attribute will dismiss the modal and you won't see the backdrop remaining.
All you need to do is adding the following at the place where you want to close your modal:
data-dismiss="modal"
For example, I have a button and when someone clicks the button it will close the modal.
<button class="btn btn-info float-right" onclick="foo()" data-dismiss="modal">Save changes</button>
You can also handle the JavaScript function on onClick
and it will close the modal and also run the JavaScript function.
This is the best approach to do using the data-dismiss
attribute.
My case is different. i want check two time ranges overlap. there should not be a unit time overlap. here is Go implementation.
func CheckRange(as, ae, bs, be int) bool {
return (as >= be) != (ae > bs)
}
Test cases
if CheckRange(2, 8, 2, 4) != true {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,2,4 to equal TRUE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 8, 2, 4) != true {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,2,4 to equal TRUE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 8, 6, 9) != true {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,6,9 to equal TRUE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 8, 8, 9) != false {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,8,9 to equal FALSE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 8, 4, 6) != true {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,4,6 to equal TRUE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 8, 1, 9) != true {
t.Error("Expected 2,8,1,9 to equal TRUE")
}
if CheckRange(4, 8, 1, 3) != false {
t.Error("Expected 4,8,1,3 to equal FALSE")
}
if CheckRange(4, 8, 1, 4) != false {
t.Error("Expected 4,8,1,4 to equal FALSE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 5, 6, 9) != false {
t.Error("Expected 2,5,6,9 to equal FALSE")
}
if CheckRange(2, 5, 5, 9) != false {
t.Error("Expected 2,5,5,9 to equal FALSE")
}
you can see there is XOR pattern in boundary comparison
Bizare, but I hope it helps someone. I was connected to a VPN (Pro XPN) and that was causing the issue! Disconnected and it worked.
Using obtrusive JavaScript (i.e. inline code) as in your example, you can attach the click event handler to the div
element with the onclick
attribute like so:
<div id="some-id" class="some-class" onclick="slideonlyone('sms_box');">
...
</div>
However, the best practice is unobtrusive JavaScript which you can easily achieve by using jQuery's on()
method or its shorthand click()
. For example:
$(document).ready( function() {
$('.some-class').on('click', slideonlyone('sms_box'));
// OR //
$('.some-class').click(slideonlyone('sms_box'));
});
Inside your handler function (e.g. slideonlyone()
in this case) you can reference the element that triggered the event (e.g. the div
in this case) with the $(this)
object. For example, if you need its ID, you can access it with $(this).attr('id')
.
EDIT
After reading your comment to @fmsf below, I see you also need to dynamically reference the target element to be toggled. As @fmsf suggests, you can add this information to the div
with a data-attribute like so:
<div id="some-id" class="some-class" data-target="sms_box">
...
</div>
To access the element's data-attribute you can use the attr()
method as in @fmsf's example, but the best practice is to use jQuery's data()
method like so:
function slideonlyone() {
var trigger_id = $(this).attr('id'); // This would be 'some-id' in our example
var target_id = $(this).data('target'); // This would be 'sms_box'
...
}
Note how data-target
is accessed with data('target')
, without the data-
prefix. Using data-attributes you can attach all sorts of information to an element and jQuery would automatically add them to the element's data object.
Try using this:
=ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Some Text", A3))
This will return TRUE
if cell A3
contains Some Text
.
The docs are pretty clear that you pass in a second parameter to specify granularity.
If you want to limit the granularity to a unit other than milliseconds, pass the units as the second parameter.
moment('2010-10-20').isAfter('2010-01-01', 'year'); // false moment('2010-10-20').isAfter('2009-12-31', 'year'); // true
As the second parameter determines the precision, and not just a single value to check, using day will check for year, month and day.
For your case you would pass 'day'
as the second parameter.
I know that is to late, but I want to share my answer. What I did it's save de script's tags in a HTML file, locking up the scripts on my Index file in a div with an id, something like this.
<div id="ScriptsReload"><script src="js/script.js"></script></div>
and when I wanted to refresh I just used.
$("#ScriptsReload").load("html_with_scripts_tags.html", "", function(
response,
status,
request
) {
});
IIF is a non-standard T-SQL function. It was added to SQL SERVER 2012, so that Access could migrate to SQL Server without refactoring the IIF's to CASE before hand. Once the Access db is fully migrated into SQL Server, you can refactor.
object-fit
may help you, if you're playing with<img>
tag
The below code will crop your image for you. You can play around with object-fit
img {
object-fit: cover;
width: 300px;
height: 337px;
}
To match anything other than letter or number you could try this:
[^a-zA-Z0-9]
And to replace:
var str = 'dfj,dsf7lfsd .sdklfj';
str = str.replace(/[^A-Za-z0-9]/g, ' ');
I don't think there's ever a reason not to use pull --rebase
-- I added code to Git specifically to allow my git pull
command to always rebase against upstream commits.
When looking through history, it is just never interesting to know when the guy/gal working on the feature stopped to synchronise up. It might be useful for the guy/gal while he/she is doing it, but that's what reflog
is for. It's just adding noise for everyone else.
while IFS='=' read -r name value ; do

Note: Variable name or value should not contain "|", because it is used as a delimiter.
Just to add another option to Dónal's answer, you can also still use the good old java.lang.Object.getClass()
method.

According to the docs for File.Move there is no "overwrite if exists" parameter. You tried to specify the destination folder, but you have to give the full file specification.
Reading the docs again ("providing the option to specify a new file name"), I think, adding a backslash to the destination folder spec may work.
The "protected internal" access modifier is a union of both the "protected" and "internal" modifiers.
From MSDN, Access Modifiers (C# Programming Guide):
The type or member can be accessed only by code in the same class or struct, or in a class that is derived from that class.
The type or member can be accessed by any code in the same assembly, but not from another assembly.
protected internal:
The type or member can be accessed by any code in the assembly in which it is declared, OR from within a derived class in another assembly. Access from another assembly must take place within a class declaration that derives from the class in which the protected internal element is declared, and it must take place through an instance of the derived class type.
Note that: protected internal
means "protected
OR internal
" (any class in the same assembly, or any derived class - even if it is in a different assembly).
...and for completeness:
The type or member can be accessed only by code in the same class or struct.
The type or member can be accessed by any other code in the same assembly or another assembly that references it.
Access is limited to the containing class or types derived from the containing class within the current assembly.
(Available since C# 7.2)
An update on @Scott T.'s answer: the interface between Resource Server and Authorization Server for token validation was standardized in IETF RFC 7662 in October 2015, see: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7662. A sample validation call would look like:
POST /introspect HTTP/1.1

Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
Authorization: Bearer 23410913-abewfq.123483

and a sample response:

As another answer says, you can take advantage of truthy/falsy evaluations if you know that 0
is the only falsy element possibly in your array. All elements in an array are falsy iff there are not any truthy elements in it.*
>>> a = np.zeros(10)
>>> not np.any(a)
True
However, the answer claimed that any
was faster than other options due partly to short-circuiting. As of 2018, Numpy's all
and any
do not short-circuit.
If you do this kind of thing often, it's very easy to make your own short-circuiting versions using numba
:
import numba as nb
# short-circuiting replacement for np.any()
@nb.jit(nopython=True)
def sc_any(array):
for x in array.flat:
if x:
return True
return False
# short-circuiting replacement for np.all()
@nb.jit(nopython=True)
def sc_all(array):
for x in array.flat:
if not x:
return False
return True
These tend to be faster than Numpy's versions even when not short-circuiting. count_nonzero
is the slowest.
Some input to check performance:
import numpy as np
n = 10**8
middle = n//2
all_0 = np.zeros(n, dtype=int)
all_1 = np.ones(n, dtype=int)
mid_0 = np.ones(n, dtype=int)
mid_1 = np.zeros(n, dtype=int)

np.put(mid_1, middle, 1)

::1
is the loopback address in IPv6.
Within a URL, use square brackets []
:
http://[::1]/
http://[::1]:80/
Enclosing the IPv6 literal in square brackets for use in a URL is defined in RFC 2732 – Format for Literal IPv6 Addresses in URL's.
Try writting the lambda with the same conditions as the delegate. like this:
List<AnalysisObject> analysisObjects =
analysisObjectRepository.FindAll().Where(
(x =>
(x.ID == packageId)
|| (x.Parent != null && x.Parent.ID == packageId)
|| (x.Parent != null && x.Parent.Parent != null && x.Parent.Parent.ID == packageId)
).ToList();
Mysql isn't very clever. When you want to use the same timestamp in multiple update or insert queries, you need to declare a variable.
When you use the now()
function, the system will call the current timestamp every time you call it in another query.
To be precise a+=b not actually equals to a = a + b. It actually is a = a + (b). How so? Let me show you a demo,
a = 1;
console.log('a += 1<<2: ', a += 1<<2); // results in 5
a = 1;
// If a += b is equal to a = a + b then this would be 5. But as you see this is not. The result is 8.
console.log('a + 1 << 2: ', a + 1 << 2); // results in 8
a = 1;
// As you can see this results in 5.
console.log('a + (1<<2): ', a + (1<<2)); // results in 5

Because this += or *= or -= or /= etc operators implicitly groups the right hand side.
This should do it, removing characters from the left by one or however many needed.

Is it because the ID is a string? What happens if you change it to int?
I mean:
public int Id { get; set; }
You can access the USB drive by its drive letter. To know the drive letter you can run this command:
C:\>wmic logicaldisk where drivetype=2 get deviceid, volumename, description
From here you will get the drive letter (Device ID) of your USB drive.
For example if its F: then run the following command in command prompt to see its contents:
C:\> F:
F:\> dir
The printf
function interprets the value that you pass it according to the format specifier in a matching position. If you tell printf
that you pass an int
, but pass unsigned
instead, printf
would re-interpret one as the other, and print the results that you see.
I have Had the same issue and the only Solution i found was open Package manager> Select Microsoft and .Net as Package Source and You will install it..
Yes, you can use jQuery's attribute selector for that.
var linksToGoogle = $('a[href="http://google.com"]');
Alternatively, if your interest is rather links starting with a certain URL, use the attribute-starts-with selector:
var allLinksToGoogle = $('a[href^="http://google.com"]');

For JWT Authentication (Tested on ASP.NET Core v3.0.0-preview7):
var email = HttpContext.User.Claims.FirstOrDefault(c => c.Type == "sub")?.Value;
var user = await _userManager.FindByEmailAsync(email);
I had the same problem. And after a hard work, I found a easy and full solution:
The code looks like this:
runas /user:[USERNAME] "psexec -e -h -s -u [USERNAME] -p [PASSWORD] \\[COMPUTERNAME] cmd /C [COMMAND1] & [COMMAND2]"
If you whant to debug your script in the another machine, run the following template:
runas /user:[USERNAME] "psexec -i -e -h -s -u [USERNAME] -p [PASSWORD] \\[COMPUTERNAME] cmd /C [COMMAND1] & [COMMAND2] & pause"
Below grep with regex is also working,
>pwd | grep -o "\w*-*$"
On the MAC OS X 10.9.5 and Eclipse Luna Service Release 1 (4.4.1), its not found under the Window menu, but instead under: Eclipse > Preferences > Run/Debug > Console.
In date '?'
, the '?'
is a literal string with value ?
, not a parameter placeholder, so your query does not have any parameters. The date
is a shorthand cast from (literal) string to date. You need to replace date '?'
with ?
to actually have a parameter.
Also if you know it is a date, then use setDate(..)
and not setString(..)
to set the parameter.
This construction is not allowed in SQL Server. An inline table-valued function can perform as a parameterized view, but is still not allowed to call an SP like this.
Here's some examples of using an SP and an inline TVF interchangeably - you'll see that the TVF is more flexible (it's basically more like a view than a function), so where an inline TVF can be used, they can be more re-eusable:

If you want to compile and run Java/C/C++ apps directly on your Android device, I recommend the Terminal IDE environment from Google Play. It's a very slick package to develop and compile Android APKs, Java, C and C++ directly on your device. The interface is all command line and "vi" based, so it has real Linux feel. It comes with the gnu C/C++ implementation.
Additionally, there is a telnet and telnet server application built in, so you can do all the programming with your PC and big keyboard, but working on the device. No root permission is needed.
This seems a far easier method than those suggested elsewhere in this thread.

For anyone redirected from "https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4393017/md5-implementation-in-c" because it's been incorrectly labelled a duplicate.
The example located here works:
http://www.zedwood.com/article/cpp-md5-function
If you are compiling in VC++2010 then you will need to change his main.cpp to this:
#include <iostream> //for std::cout
#include <string.h> //for std::string
#include "MD5.h"
using std::cout; using std::endl;
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
std::string Temp = md5("The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog");
cout << Temp.c_str() << endl;
return 0;
}
You will have to change the MD5 class slightly if you are to read in a char * array instead of a string to answer the question on this page here.
EDIT:
Apparently modifying the MD5 library isn't clear, well a Full VC++2010 solution is here for your convenience to include char *'s:
https://github.com/alm4096/MD5-Hash-Example-VS
A bit of an explanation is here:
#include <iostream> //for std::cout
#include <string.h> //for std::string
#include <fstream>
#include "MD5.h"
using std::cout; using std::endl;
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
//Start opening your file
ifstream inBigArrayfile;
inBigArrayfile.open ("Data.dat", std::ios::binary | std::ios::in);
//Find length of file
inBigArrayfile.seekg (0, std::ios::end);
long Length = inBigArrayfile.tellg();
inBigArrayfile.seekg (0, std::ios::beg);
//read in the data from your file
char * InFileData = new char[Length];
inBigArrayfile.read(InFileData,Length);
//Calculate MD5 hash
std::string Temp = md5(InFileData,Length);
cout << Temp.c_str() << endl;
//Clean up
delete [] InFileData;
return 0;
}
I have simply added the following into the MD5 library:
MD5.cpp:
MD5::MD5(char * Input, long length)
{
init();
update(Input, length);
finalize();
}
MD5.h:
std::string md5(char * Input, long length);
This solution is not very different from those above, but for me it works very well and i think it's clean.
I suggest to base64 encode the file server side (base64_encode(), if you are using PHP) and send the base64 encoded data to the client
On the client you do this:
let blob = this.dataURItoBlob(THE_MIME_TYPE + "," + response.file);
let uri = URL.createObjectURL(blob);
let link = document.createElement("a");
link.download = THE_FILE_NAME,
link.href = uri;
document.body.appendChild(link);
link.click();
document.body.removeChild(link);
This code puts the encoded data in a link and simulates a click on the link, then it removes it.
One Liner (pure Java)
list.toString().replace(", ", ",").replaceAll("[\\[.\\]]", "");
Goodness I had a hard time finding the answer to this... Here it is:
cd thisDoesntExist
if %errorlevel% == 0 (
echo Oh, I guess it does
echo Huh.
)
You should use the background attribute to give an image to that element, and I would use ::after instead of before, this way it should be already drawn on top of your element.
.Modal:before{
content: '';
background:url('blackCarrot.png');
width: /* width of the image */;
height: /* height of the image */;
display: block;
}
It's working.
my solution is:
1.create a test.conf into /etc/httpd/conf.d/test.conf
2.wrote some rule, like:
<Directory "/var/www/html/test">
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^link([^/]*).html$ rewrite.php?link=$1 [L]
</Directory>
3.restart your Apache server.
4.try again yourself.
I had this problem and I just realized that if in the server you see the user in the menu SERVER -> USERS AND PRIVILEGES and find the user who has % as HOSTNAME, you can use it instead the root user.
That's all
You could try this code which uses the System.Reflection.AssemblyTitleAttribute.Title
property:
((AssemblyTitleAttribute)Attribute.GetCustomAttribute(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly(), typeof(AssemblyTitleAttribute), false)).Title;
try/catch is scripted syntax. So any time you are using declarative syntax to use something from scripted in general you can do so by enclosing the scripted syntax in the scripts block in a declarative pipeline. So your try/catch should go inside stage >steps >script.
This holds true for any other scripted pipeline syntax you would like to use in a declarative pipeline as well.
Currently CSS does not support this feature.
You can build your own or use a plug-in that emulates this behaviour using DIVs/CSS.
jQuery 1.8.1 has an example of this under autocomplete. It's very easy to implement.
on command line
example$:python
>>> import scipy
>>> scipy.__version__
'0.9.0'
About your command line:
root@debian:/# sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 3306 --jump ACCEPT
root@debian:/# iptables-save
You are already authenticated as root
so sudo
is redundant there.
You are missing the -j
or --jump
just before the ACCEPT
parameter (just tought that was a typo and you are inserting it correctly).
About yout question:
If you are inserting the iptables
rule correctly as you pointed it in the question, maybe the issue is related to the hypervisor (virtual machine provider) you are using.
If you provide the hypervisor name (VirtualBox, VMWare?) I can further guide you on this but here are some suggestions you can try first:
check your vmachine network settings and:
if it is set to NAT, then you won't be able to connect from your base machine to the vmachine.
if it is set to Hosted, you have to configure first its network settings, it is usually to provide them an IP in the range 192.168.56.0/24, since is the default the hypervisors use for this.
if it is set to Bridge, same as Hosted but you can configure it whenever IP range makes sense for you configuration.
Hope this helps.

As Faizan describes in their answer here:
First of all read the Json File from your assests file using below code.
and then you can simply read this string return by this function as
public String loadJSONFromAsset() {
String json = null;
try {
InputStream is = getActivity().getAssets().open("yourfilename.json");
int size = is.available();
byte[] buffer = new byte[size];
is.read(buffer);
is.close();
json = new String(buffer, "UTF-8");
} catch (IOException ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
return null;
}
return json;
}
and use this method like that
try {
JSONObject obj = new JSONObject(loadJSONFromAsset());
JSONArray m_jArry = obj.getJSONArray("formules");
ArrayList<HashMap<String, String>> formList = new ArrayList<HashMap<String, String>>();
HashMap<String, String> m_li;
for (int i = 0; i < m_jArry.length(); i++) {
JSONObject jo_inside = m_jArry.getJSONObject(i);
Log.d("Details-->", jo_inside.getString("formule"));
String formula_value = jo_inside.getString("formule");
String url_value = jo_inside.getString("url");
//Add your values in your `ArrayList` as below:
m_li = new HashMap<String, String>();
m_li.put("formule", formula_value);
m_li.put("url", url_value);
formList.add(m_li);
}
} catch (JSONException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}

We use:
/**
* Get the customer's IP address.
*
* @return string
*/
public function getIpAddress() {
if (!empty($_SERVER['HTTP_CLIENT_IP'])) {
return $_SERVER['HTTP_CLIENT_IP'];
} else if (!empty($_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR'])) {
$ips = explode(',', $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR']);
return trim($ips[count($ips) - 1]);
} else {
return $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
}
}
The explode on HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR is because of weird issues we had detecting IP addresses when Squid was used.
Answer marked is misleading. The question stated is DateTime
, but stated what was needed was just CURDATE()
.
The shortest and correct answer to this is:
SELECT * FROM users WHERE created >= CURRENT_TIMESTAMP;
Try adding the following runtime assembly bindings:
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<dependentAssembly>
<assemblyIdentity name="EntityFramework" publicKeyToken="b77a5c561934e089" culture="neutral" />
<bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-6.0.0.0" newVersion="6.0.0.0" />
</dependentAssembly>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
HTTPS requires an initial handshake which can be very slow. The actual amount of data transferred as part of the handshake isn't huge (under 5 kB typically), but for very small requests, this can be quite a bit of overhead. However, once the handshake is done, a very fast form of symmetric encryption is used, so the overhead there is minimal. Bottom line: making lots of short requests over HTTPS will be quite a bit slower than HTTP, but if you transfer a lot of data in a single request, the difference will be insignificant.
However, keepalive is the default behaviour in HTTP/1.1, so you will do a single handshake and then lots of requests over the same connection. This makes a significant difference for HTTPS. You should probably profile your site (as others have suggested) to make sure, but I suspect that the performance difference will not be noticeable.
Auto-correlation comes in two versions: statistical and convolution. They both do the same, except for a little detail: The statistical version is normalized to be on the interval [-1,1]. Here is an example of how you do the statistical one:
def acf(x, length=20):
return numpy.array([1]+[numpy.corrcoef(x[:-i], x[i:])[0,1] \
for i in range(1, length)])
The basic answer is, yes it is undefined.
If you are seeing odd behavior because of this, it may depended on where it is declared. If within a function on the stack then the contents will more than likely be different every time the function gets called. If it is a static or module scope it is undefined but will not change.
To get the keys:
function GetDictionaryKeysAsArray(dict: {[key: string]: string;}): string[] {
let result: string[] = [];
Object.keys(dict).map((key) =>
result.push(key),
);
return result;
}
look at sysinternals for a variety of tools to help you achieve that goal. psService for example would restart a service on a remote machine.
Paths under linux are separated by colons (:
), not semi-colons (;
), as theatrus correctly used it in his example. I believe Java respects this convention.
Alternatively to what andy suggested, you may use the following form (which sets CLASSPATH for the duration of the command):
CLASSPATH=".:../somejar.jar:../mysql-connector-java-5.1.6-bin.jar" java -Xmx500m ...
whichever is more convenient to you.
Posts by John Peter and Dileep kurahe helped me to develop what I consider as being a simpler and cleaner solution, just in case anyone else is still looking. (I am not showing any database code because I actually used a $_SESSION variable.)
The above solutions invariably caused an error upon loading in Excel, about the extension not matching the formatting type. And some of these solutions create a spreadsheet with the data across the page in columns where it would be more traditional to have column headings and list the data down the rows. So here is my simple solution:
$filename = "webreport.csv";
header("Content-Type: application/xls");
header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=$filename");
header("Pragma: no-cache");
header("Expires: 0");
foreach($results as $x => $x_value){
echo '"'.$x.'",' . '"'.$x_value.'"' . "\r\n";
}
$results
so the spreadsheet looked even nicer.onclick="window.open('your_html', '_blank')"
var ofd = new Microsoft.Win32.OpenFileDialog() {Filter = "JPEG Files (*.jpeg)|*.jpeg|PNG Files (*.png)|*.png|JPG Files (*.jpg)|*.jpg|GIF Files (*.gif)|*.gif"};
var result = ofd.ShowDialog();
if (result == false) return;
textBox1.Text = ofd.FileName;
If your binary search tree is a red black tree, or you intend to any kind of "tree rotation" operations, duplicate nodes will cause problems. Imagine your tree rule is this:
left < root <= right
Now imagine a simple tree whose root is 5, left child is nil, and right child is 5. If you do a left rotation on the root you end up with a 5 in the left child and a 5 in the root with the right child being nil. Now something in the left tree is equal to the root, but your rule above assumed left < root.
I spent hours trying to figure out why my red/black trees would occasionally traverse out of order, the problem was what I described above. Hopefully somebody reads this and saves themselves hours of debugging in the future!
Put the entire script into a template string, with {SERVERNAME} placeholders. Then edit the string using:
SET @SQL_SCRIPT = REPLACE(@TEMPLATE, '{SERVERNAME}', @DBNAME)
and then run it with
EXECUTE (@SQL_SCRIPT)
It's hard to believe that, in the course of three years, nobody noticed that my code doesn't work!
You can't EXEC
multiple batches. GO
is a batch separator, not a T-SQL statement. It's necessary to build three separate strings, and then to EXEC
each one after substitution.
I suppose one could do something "clever" by breaking the single template string into multiple rows by splitting on GO
; I've done that in ADO.NET code.
And where did I get the word "SERVERNAME" from?
Here's some code that I just tested (and which works):
DECLARE @DBNAME VARCHAR(255)
SET @DBNAME = 'TestDB'
DECLARE @CREATE_TEMPLATE VARCHAR(MAX)
DECLARE @COMPAT_TEMPLATE VARCHAR(MAX)
DECLARE @RECOVERY_TEMPLATE VARCHAR(MAX)
SET @CREATE_TEMPLATE = 'CREATE DATABASE {DBNAME}'
SET @COMPAT_TEMPLATE='ALTER DATABASE {DBNAME} SET COMPATIBILITY_LEVEL = 90'
SET @RECOVERY_TEMPLATE='ALTER DATABASE {DBNAME} SET RECOVERY SIMPLE'
DECLARE @SQL_SCRIPT VARCHAR(MAX)
SET @SQL_SCRIPT = REPLACE(@CREATE_TEMPLATE, '{DBNAME}', @DBNAME)
EXECUTE (@SQL_SCRIPT)

The two methods previously described are not enough today. I personnally use :
input[type="text"]{
background-color: transparent;
border: 0px;
outline: none;
-webkit-box-shadow: none;
-moz-box-shadow: none;
box-shadow: none;
width:5px;
color:transparent;
cursor:default;
}
It also removes the shadow set on some browsers, hide the text that could be input and make the cursor behave as if the input was not there.
You may want to set width to 0px also.
The difference between factory and service is just like the difference between a function and an object
Factory Provider
Gives us the function's return value ie. You just create an object, add properties to it, then return that same object.When you pass this service into your controller, those properties on the object will now be available in that controller through your factory. (Hypothetical Scenario)
Singleton and will only be created once
Reusable components
Factory are a great way for communicating between controllers like sharing data.
Can use other dependencies
Usually used when the service instance requires complex creation logic
Cannot be injected in .config()
function.
Used for non configurable services
If you're using an object, you could use the factory provider.
Syntax: module.factory('factoryName', function);
Service Provider
Gives us the instance of a function (object)- You just instantiated with the ‘new’ keyword and you’ll add properties to ‘this’ and the service will return ‘this’.When you pass the service into your controller, those properties on ‘this’ will now be available on that controller through your service. (Hypothetical Scenario)
Singleton and will only be created once
Reusable components
Services are used for communication between controllers to share data
You can add properties and functions to a service object by using the this
keyword
Dependencies are injected as constructor arguments
Used for simple creation logic
Cannot be injected in .config()
function.
If you're using a class you could use the service provider
Syntax: module.service(‘serviceName’, function);
In below example I have define MyService
and MyFactory
. Note how in .service
I have created the service methods using this.methodname.
In .factory
I have created a factory object and assigned the methods to it.
AngularJS .service
module.service('MyService', function() {
this.method1 = function() {
//..method1 logic
}
this.method2 = function() {
//..method2 logic
}
});
AngularJS .factory
module.factory('MyFactory', function() {
var factory = {};
factory.method1 = function() {
//..method1 logic
}
factory.method2 = function() {
//..method2 logic
}
return factory;
});
Also Take a look at this beautiful stuffs
Confused about service vs factory
npm init
It is all you need. It will create the package.json file on the fly for you.
One of the most promising approaches seems to be opening a second communication channel back to the server to ask it how much of the transfer has been completed.
git stash
git pull <remote name> <remote branch name> (or) switch branch
git stash apply --index
The first command stores your changes temporarily in the stash and removes them from the working directory.
The second command switches branches.
The third command restores the changes which you have stored in the stash (the --index
option is useful to make sure that staged files are still staged).
Instead of that macro, might I suggest this one:
template<typename T, int N>
inline size_t array_size(T(&)[N])
{
return N;
}
#define ARRAY_SIZE(X) (sizeof(array_size(X)) ? (sizeof(X) / sizeof((X)[0])) : -1)
1) We want to use a macro to make it a compile-time constant; the function call's result is not a compile-time constant.
2) However, we don't want to use a macro because the macro could be accidentally used on a pointer. The function can only be used on compile-time arrays.
So, we use the defined-ness of the function to make the macro "safe"; if the function exists (i.e. it has non-zero size) then we use the macro as above. If the function does not exist we return a bad value.
You can raise a notice in Postgres
as follows:
raise notice 'Value: %', deletedContactId;
Read here
Using Java 8 -
public static String encodeString(String plainString) {
return Base64.getEncoder().encodeToString(plainString.getBytes());
}
public static String decodeString(String encodedString) {
byte[] bytes = Base64.getDecoder().decode(encodedString);
return new String(bytes);
}
If you need a recursive search, you have a variety of options. You should consider ack
.
Failing that, if you have GNU find
and xargs
:
find . -name '*.cc' -print0 -o -name '*.h' -print0 | xargs -0 grep hello /dev/null
The use of /dev/null
ensures you get file names printed; the -print0
and -0
deals with file names containing spaces (newlines, etc).
If you don't have obstreperous names (with spaces etc), you can use:
find . -name '*.*[ch]' -print | xargs grep hello /dev/null
This might pick up a few names you didn't intend, because the pattern match is fuzzier (but simpler), but otherwise works. And it works with non-GNU versions of find
and xargs
.
this Func may help you . it add every list object to grid view
private void show_data()
{
BindingSource Source = new BindingSource();
for (int i = 0; i < CC.Contects.Count; i++)
{
Source.Add(CC.Contects.ElementAt(i));
};
Data_View.DataSource = Source;
}
I write this for simple database app
I found the solution. It's so simple. Follow froger_mcs instructions.
Make sure that you make the src folder a Source folder in Project Structure -> Modules (Sources).
