In /etc/subversion/servers you are setting http-proxy-host, which has nothing to do with svn:// which connects to a different server usually running on port 3690 started by svnserve command.

The issue is that you're not saving the mysqli connection. Change your connect to:

The key phrasing here that I think you are misunderstanding is "interpreted as false" or "interpreted as true". This does not mean that any of those values are identical to True or False, or even equal to True or False.

It seems that clients1.google.com is the server behind google search suggestions. When you visit http://www.google.com, the cookie is passed to http://clients1.google.com/generate_204. Perhaps this is to start up some kind of session on the server? Whatever the use, I doubt it's a very standard use.

1. The set fields you want to lookup.

If object is string-like, parse the string and return the parsed result as a Ruby data structure. Otherwise generate a JSON text from the Ruby data structure object and return it.

Here's another method that's unorthodox, but works*.

I recently found myself in a situation where I'd checked in breaking code, knowing that I couldn't update our production code to it until all the integration work had taken place (in retrospect this was a bad decision, but we didn't expect to get stalled out, but other projects took precedence). That was several months ago, and the integration has been stalled for that entire time. Along comes a requirement to change the base code and get it into production last week without the breaking change.

Here's what we did:

After verifying that the new requirement doesn't break anything when using the revision before my check in, I made a copy of the working directory containing the new code. Then I deleted everything in the working directory and checked out the revision I wanted to it. Then I deleted all the files I'd just checked out, and copied in the files from the working copy. Then I committed that change, effectively wiping out the breaking change from the repository and getting the production code in place as the head revision. We still have the breaking change available, but it's no longer in the head revision so we can move forward to production.

*I don't recommend this method, but if you find yourself in a similar situation, it's a way out that's not too painful.

In one situation involving a multi-domain application, app.request.getHttpHost helped me out. It returns something like example.com or subdomain.example.com (or example.com:8000 when the port is not standard). This was in Symfony 3.4.

There are several ways to group by year

• Use the dt accessor with year property
• Put date in index and use anonymous function to access year
• Use resample method
• Convert to pandas Period

.dt accessor with year property

When you have a column (and not an index) of pandas Timestamps, you can access many more extra properties and methods with the dt accessor. For instance:

df['date'].dt.year

2    2015

We can use this to form our groups and calculate some aggregations on a particular column:

In JavaScript, \w and \d are ASCII, while \s is Unicode. Don't ask me why. JavaScript does support \p with Unicode categories, which you can use to emulate a Unicode-aware \w and \d.

For \w use [\p{L}\p{N}\p{Pc}\p{M}] (letters, numbers, underscores, marks)

Update: Unfortunately, I was wrong about this. JavaScript does does not officially support \p either, though some implementations may still support this. The only Unicode support in JavaScript regexes is matching specific code points with \uFFFF. You can use those in ranges in character classes.

You don't need to call json.getJSONArray() at all, because the JSON you're working with already is an array. So, don't construct an instance of JSONObject; use a JSONArray. This should suffice:

Thanks for the report. This behavior is by design in .NET Framework 4.5 Beta. The minimum supported operating systems are Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Windows XP is not a supported operating system for the Beta release.

For IE 7 & 8 (and other browsers without CSS3 support not including IE6) you can use the following to get the 2nd and 3rd children:

2nd Child:

td:first-child + td

3rd Child:

td:first-child + td + td

Then simply add another + td for each additional child you wish to select.

If you want to support IE6 that can be done too! You simply need to use a little javascript (jQuery in this example):

It really depends on what technology restrictions you have.

One way is to have a spatial database with the outline of the countries and cities you are interested in. By outline I mean that countries and cities are store as the spatial type polygon. Your set of coordinates can be converted to the spatial type point and queried against the polygons to get the country/city name where the point is located.

Here are some of the databases which support spatial type: SQL server 2008, MySQL, postGIS - an extension of postgreSQL and Oracle.

If you would like to use a service in stead of having your own database for this you can use Yahoo's GeoPlanet. For the service approach you might want to check out this answer on gis.stackexchange.com, which covers the availability of services for solving your problem.

char (with a lower-case c) is a numeric type. It already holds the ascii value of the char. Just cast it to an integer to display it as a numeric value rather than a textual value:

You are iterating over one string (word), but then using the index into that to look up a character in so_far. There is no guarantee that these two strings have the same length.

If the millis value is number of millis since Jan 1, 1970 GMT, as is standard for the JVM, then that is independent of time zone. Processing the ASP.NET web-form takes place in stages. At each state various events are raised. If you are interested to plug your code into the processing flow (on server side) then you have to handle appropriate page event.

Alternatively, use the manifest to specify the class-path and main-class if you like, so then you don't need to use -cp or specify the main class. In your case it would contain lines like this:

You could use os.walk('.').next()[-1] instead of filtering with os.path.isfile, but that leaves dead symlinks in the list, and os.stat will fail on them.

Its quite old question, and I'm not sure if it was an option at that time, but this is the reason why I always prefer DependencyInjection by the constructor than by the value.

I can imagine that your class might look like this:

With this implementation, the spring will know what to inject automatically, but for unit testing, you can do whatever you need. For example Autowire every dependency wth spring, and inject them manually via constructor to create "ExampleClass" instance, or use only spring with test property file, or do not use spring at all and create all object yourself.

You could always check manually if your EventListener exist using Chrome inspector for example. In Element tab you have the traditional "Styles" subtab and close to it another one : "Event Listeners". Which will give you the list of all EventListeners with their linked elements.

The trick proposed by my answer is to replace the navbar-toggler with a classical button class btn and then, as answered earlier, use an icon font.

Note, that if you keep <button class="navbar-toggler">, the button will have a "strange" shape.

So, just don't use the "navbar-toggler" class on your button if you want to use an icon font.

To use cache-control in HTML, you use the meta tag, e.g.

Some information on the Cache-Control header is as follows

HTTP 1.1. Allowed values = PUBLIC | PRIVATE | NO-CACHE | NO-STORE.

The directive CACHE-CONTROL:NO-CACHE indicates cached information should not be used and instead requests should be forwarded to the origin server. This directive has the same semantics as the PRAGMA:NO-CACHE.

Clients SHOULD include both PRAGMA: NO-CACHE and CACHE-CONTROL: NO-CACHE when a no-cache request is sent to a server not known to be HTTP/1.1 compliant. Also see EXPIRES.

CORS is Cross Origin Resource Sharing, you get this error if you are trying to access from one domain to another domain.

Try using JSONP. In your case, JSONP should work fine because it only uses the GET method.

DISCLAIMER: I'm the author of gitchangelog of which I'll be speaking in the following.

TL;DR: You might want to check gitchangelog's own changelog or the ascii output that generated the previous.

If you want to generate a changelog from your git history, you'll probably have to consider:

• the output format. (Pure custom ASCII, Debian changelog type, Markdow, ReST...)
• some commit filtering (you probably don't want to see all the typo's or cosmetic changes getting in your changelog)
• some commit text wrangling before being included in the changelog. (Ensuring normalization of messages as having a first letter uppercase or a final dot, but it could be removing some special markup in the summary also)
• is your git history compatible ?. Merging, tagging, is not always so easily supported by most of the tools. It depends on how you manage your history.

Optionaly you might want some categorization (new things, changes, bugfixes)...

With all this in mind, I created and use gitchangelog. It's meant to leverage a git commit message convention to achieve all of the previous goals.

Having a commit message convention is mandatory to create a nice changelog (with or without using gitchangelog).

The following are suggestions to what might be useful to think about adding in your commit messages.

You might want to separate roughly your commits into big sections:

• by intent (for example: new, fix, change ...)
• by object (for example: doc, packaging, code ...)
• by audience (for example: dev, tester, users ...)

Additionally, you could want to tag some commits:

• as "minor" commits that shouldn't get outputed to your changelog (cosmetic changes, small typo in comments...)
• as "refactor" if you don't really have any significative feature changes. Thus this should not also be part of the changelog displayed to final user for instance, but might be of some interest if you have a developer changelog.
• you could tag also with "api" to mark API changes or new API stuff...
• ...etc...

Try to write your commit message by targeting users (functionality) as often as you can.

Then, it's quite easy to make a complete changelog. You could make your own script quite quickly, or use gitchangelog.

gitchangelog will generate a full changelog (with sectioning support as New, Fix...), and is reasonably configurable to your own committing conventions. It supports any type of output thanks to templating through Mustache, Mako templating, and has a default legacy engine written in raw python ; all current 3 engines have examples of how to use them and can output changelog's as the one displayed on the PyPI page of gitchangelog.

I'm sure you know that there are plenty of other git log to changelog tools out there also.

It depends where the string 'came from'. A .NET string is Unicode (UTF-16). The only way it could be different if you, say, read the data from a database into a byte array.

The important thing to note here is that the mime type is not the same as the file extension. Sometimes, however, they have the same value.

https://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/media-types.xhtml includes a list of registered Mime types, though there is nothing stopping you from making up your own, as long as you are at both the sending and the receiving end. Here is where Microsoft comes in to the picture.

Where there is a lot of confusion is the fact that operating systems have their own way of identifying file types by using the tail end of the file name, referred to as the extension. In modern operating systems, the whole name is one long string, but in more primitive operating systems, it is treated as a separate attribute.

The OS which caused the confusion is MSDOS, which had limited the extension to 3 characters. This limitation is inherited to this day in devices, such as SD cards, which still store data in the same way.

One side effect of this limitation is that some file extensions, such as .gif match their Mime Type, image/gif, while others are compromised. This includes image/jpeg whose extension is shortened to .jpg. Even in modern Windows, where the limitation is lifted, Microsoft never let the past go, and so the file extension is still the shortened version.

Given that that:

1. File Extensions are not File Types
2. Historically, some operating systems had serious file name limitations
3. Some operating systems will just go ahead and make up their own rules

The short answer is:

• Technically, there is no such thing as image/jpg, so the answer is that it is not the same as image/jpeg
• That won’t stop some operating systems and software from treating it as if it is the same

While we’re at it …

Legacy versions of Internet Explorer took the liberty of uploading jpeg files with the Mime Type of image/pjpeg, which, of course, just means more work for everybody else. They also uploaded png files as image/x-png.

I didn't need to download anything else to solve this. CV2 had everything I needed.

Instead of trying to figure out where the .xml files are and hard coding the values, I used a property given by cv2.

As for your "special needs" from the List, I see no reason why to implement a linked list, since the javascript array lets you add and remove items.

Javascript has a native Map object so there's no need to create your own:

If you want to maintain a sorted list which you will frequently modify (i.e. a structure which, in addition to being sorted, allows duplicates and whose elements can be efficiently referenced by index), then use an ArrayList but when you need to insert an element, always use Collections.binarySearch() to determine the index at which you add a given element. The latter method tells you the index you need to insert at to keep your list in sorted order.

It's easy to get this error in a multi-module project. If, for example, you made changes to modules A, B, and C, but then you try to compile just module B, you are susceptible to this error. Say module B has a dependency on module A. Since only module B was compiled, the class files from module A are now out of date and possibly invalid.

Compiling all the modules (or modules in the proper hierarchical dependency order) resolves this error, if this is the nature of your problem.

If the user does not pass the full path to the file (on Unix type systems this means a path that starts with a slash), the path is interpreted relatively to the current working directory. The current working directory usually is the directory in which you started the program. In your case, the file test.rtf must be in the same directory in which you execute the program.

You are obviously performing programming tasks in Python under Mac OS. There, I recommend to work in the terminal (on the command line), i.e. start the terminal, cd to the directory where your input file is located and start the Python script there using the command

In order to make this work, the directory containing the python executable must be in the PATH, a so-called environment variable that contains directories that are automatically used for searching executables when you enter a command. You should make use of this, because it simplifies daily work greatly. That way, you can simply cd to the directory containing your Python script file and run it.

In any case, if your Python script file and your data input file are not in the same directory, you always have to specify either a relative path between them or you have to use an absolute path for one of them.

If the id contains characters that are not supported by the HTML standard (see SO question here) then jQuery may not find it even if getElementById does.

This happened to me with an id containing "/" characters (ex: id="a/b/c"), using Chrome:

If you have multiple projects in your solution and one of your projects fails to build because of this error then ensure you have installed the WebApi Core nuget package in that project. Simply adding a reference to the System.Web.Http does not help, you need to install the correct nuget package into that project.

I had multiple projects in my solution and WebApi Core was already installed in another project. I referenced the System.Web.Http assembly by right-clicking and ticking the assembly from the list and it did not work on Azure, though locally it would build okay. I had to remove the manual reference and add the WebApi Core nuget package to each project that needed the assembly reference.

Javascript provides more than one method to check the viewport width. As you noticed, innerWidth doesn't include the toolbar width, and toolbar widths will differ across systems. There is also the outerWidth option, which will include the toolbar width. The Mozilla Javascript API states:

Window.outerWidth gets the width of the outside of the browser window. It represents the width of the whole browser window including sidebar (if expanded), window chrome and window resizing borders/handles.

The state of javascript is such that one cannot rely on a specific meaning for outerWidth in every browser on every platform.

outerWidth is not well supported on older mobile browsers, though it enjoys support across major desktop browsers and most newer smart phone browsers.

As ausi pointed out, matchMedia would be a great choice as CSS is better standardised (matchMedia uses JS to read the viewport values detected by CSS). But even with accepted standards, retarded browsers still exist that ignore them (IE < 10 in this case, which makes matchMedia not very useful at least until XP dies).

In summary, if you are only developing for desktop browsers and newer mobile browsers, outerWidth should give you what you are looking for, with some caveats.

If this Info object has references to other objects, which again have references to other objects. In a way you could also consider this to be some kind of memory leak, (caused by bad design).

If you are deploying your app on ios 9 devices use a stack view. Here are the steps :-

1. Add a scroll view with constraints - pin to left, right, bottom, top (without margins) to superview (view)
2. Add a stack view with same constraints to scroll view.
3. Stack View Other Constraints :- stackView.bottom = view.bottom and stackView.width = scrollView.width

Within double quotes, backslashes that are followed by one of these characters are removed. Backslashes preceding characters without a special meaning are left unmodified. A double quote may be quoted within double quotes by preceding it with a backslash. If enabled, history expansion will be performed unless an ! appearing in double quotes is escaped using a backslash. The backslash preceding the ! is not removed. The special parameters * and @ have special meaning when in double quotes (see Shell Parameter Expansion).

In the specific case asked in the question, $COLUMNS is a special variable which has nonstandard properties (see lhunath's answer above).

My version of this is an adaptation of Arvo's work, with a little more added on to ensure two other cases.

I had some problems with result transformers combined with HQL queries. When I tried

If you want a very easy way to do this, you can lean on existing PHP functions. This is the code I use:

time() gives you the current time in seconds since epoch, sha1() encrypts it to a string of 0-9a-f, and substr() lets you choose a length. You don't have to start at character 0, and whatever the difference is between the two numbers will be the length of the string.

TLDR; Here's why:

The reason this works is because gulp tries to run your gulpfile.js using your locally installed version of gulp, see here. Hence the reason for a global and local install of gulp.

Essentially, when you install gulp locally the script isn't in your PATH and so you can't just type gulp and expect the shell to find the command. By installing it globally the gulp script gets into your PATH because the global node/bin/ directory is most likely on your path.

To respect your local dependencies though, gulp will use your locally installed version of itself to run the gulpfile.js.

Meaning of @classmethod and @staticmethod?

• A method is a function in an object's namespace, accessible as an attribute.

My advice - Conclusion

Use static methods when you don't need the class or instance arguments, but the function is related to the use of the object, and it is convenient for the function to be in the object's namespace.

Use class methods when you don't need instance information, but need the class information perhaps for its other class or static methods, or perhaps itself as a constructor. (You wouldn't hardcode the class so that subclasses could be used here.)

First make sure you have SessionMiddleware and AuthenticationMiddleware middlewares added to your MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES setting.

The current user is in request object, you can get it by:

First things first, the definition of "peak" is vague if without further specifications. For example, for the following series, would you call 5-4-5 one peak or two?

In this case, you'll need at least two thresholds: 1) a high threshold only above which can an extreme value register as a peak; and 2) a low threshold so that extreme values separated by small values below it will become two peaks.

After upgrading react-native, you may have stale dependencies. The steps below should fix it.

I couldn't copy files using the answers above but I have putty and I found a workaround on Quora.

1. Change settings of your PuTTY session, go to logging and change it to "printable characters". Set the log file
2. Do a cat of the respective file
3. Go to the file you set in step #1 and you will have your content in the log file.

Note: it copies all the printed characters of that session to the log file, so it will get big eventually. In that case, delete the log file and cat the target file so you get that particular file's content copied on your machine.

You can change axis text and label size with arguments axis.text= and axis.title= in function theme(). If you need, for example, change only x axis title size, then use axis.title.x=.

If you change the

set targetFolder= 

to the folder you want you won't get prompted for the folder. *Remember when putting the base path in, the format does not include a '\' on the end. e.g. d:\test c:\temp

The reason your attempt wasn't working, is because the two animations (fade-in and fade-out) were working against each other.

Right before an object became visible, it was still invisible and so the animation for fading-out would run. Then, the fraction of a second later when that same object had become visible, the fade-in animation would try to run, but the fade-out was still running. So they would work against each other and you would see nothing.

Eventually the object would become visible (most of the time), but it would take a while. And if you would scroll down by using the arrow-button at the button of the scrollbar, the animation would sort of work, because you would scroll using bigger increments, creating less scroll-events.

• I wrapped the fade-codeline in an if-clause: if ($(this).css("opacity")==0) {...}. This makes sure the object is only faded in when the opacity is 0. Same goes for fading out. And this prevents the fade-in and fade-out from working against each other, because now there's ever only one of the two running at one time on an object.
• I changed .animate() to .fadeTo(). It's jQuery's specialized function for opacity, a lot shorter to write and probably lighter than animate.
• I changed .position() to .offset(). This always calculates relative to the body, whereas position is relative to the parent. For your case I believe offset is the way to go.
• I changed $(window).height() to $(window).innerHeight(). The latter is more reliable in my experience.
• Directly after the scroll-handler, I invoke that handler once on page-load with $(window).scroll();. Now you can give all desired objects on the page the .fade class, and objects that should be invisible at page-load, will be faded out immediately.
• I removed #container from both HTML and CSS, because (at least for this answer) it isn't necessary. (I thought maybe you needed the height:2000px because you used .position() instead of .offset(), otherwise I don't know. Feel free of course to leave it in your code.)

• I added a threshold to the if-clause, see explanation below.
• I created variables for the threshold and for min/max at the start of the function. In the rest of the function these variables are referenced. This way, if you ever want to change the values again, you only have to do it in one place.
• I also added || pageLoad to the if-clause. This was necessary to make sure all objects are faded to the correct opacity on page-load. pageLoad is a boolean that is send along as an argument when fade() is invoked.
  I had to put the fade-code inside the extra function fade() {...}, in order to be able to send along the pageLoad boolean when the scroll-handler is invoked.
  I did't see any other way to do this, if anyone else does, please leave a comment.

Explanation:
The reason the code in your fiddle didn't work, is because the actual opacity values are always a little off from the value you set it to. So if you set the opacity to 0.3, the actual value (in this case) is 0.300000011920929. That's just one of those little bugs you have to learn along the way by trail and error. That's why this if-clause won't work: if ($(this).css("opacity") == 0.3) {...}.

I added a threshold, to take that difference into account: == 0.3 becomes <= 0.31.
(I've set the threshold to 0.01, this can be changed of course, just as long as the actual opacity will fall between the set value and this threshold.)

The operators are now changed from == to <= and >=.

One "dimension" of this topic has been left out yet it's very important: there are times when the "best practices" have to come into terms with the plaform we are implementing or augmenting with REST capabilities.

Practical example:

Many web applications nowadays implement the MVC (Model, View, Controller) architecture. They assume a certain standard path is provided, even more so when those web applications come with an "Enable SEO URLs" option.

Just to mention a fairly famous web application: an OpenCart e-commerce shop. When the admin enables the "SEO URLs" it expects said URLs to come in a quite standard MVC format like:

Where

• special-offers is the MVC controller that shall process the URL (showing the special-offers page)

• list-all is the controller's action or function name to call. (*)

• limit=25 is an option, stating that 25 items will be shown per page.

(*) list-all is a fictious function name I used for clarity. In reality, OpenCart and most MVC frameworks have a default, implied (and usually omitted in the URL) index function that gets called when the user wants a default action to be performed. So the real world URL would be:

http://www.domain.tld/special-offers?limit=25

With a now fairly standard application or frameworkd structure similar to the above, you'll often get a web server that is optimized for it, that rewrites URLs for it (the true "non SEOed URL" would be: http://www.domain.tld/index.php?route=special-offers/list-all&limit=25).

Therefore you, as developer, are faced into dealing with the existing infrastructure and adapt your "best practices", unless you are the system admin, know exactly how to tweak an Apache / NGinx rewrite configuration (the latter can be nasty!) and so on.

So, your REST API would often be much better following the referring web application's standards, both for consistency with it and ease / speed (and thus budget saving).

To get back to the practical example above, a consistent REST API would be something with URLs like:

http://www.domain.tld/api/special-offers-list?from=15&limit=25

or (non SEO URLs)

http://www.domain.tld/index.php?route=api/special-offers-list?from=15&limit=25

with a mix of "paths formed" arguments and "query formed" arguments.

I haven't really found a good way to do that natively, so I just use a utility called hstart which does it for me. If there's a neater way to do it, that would be nice.

On Windows Platform the simplest way is to use the terminal.
Please Run the command RMDIR /Q/S foldername to delete the folder and all of its subfolders.

Simplest solution: Use Unicode Characters

No expression or other packages needed.
Not sure if this is a newer feature for ggplot, but it works. It also makes it easy to mix Greek and regular text (like adding '*' to the ticks)

Just use unicode characters within the text string. seems to work well for all options I can think of. Edit: previously it did not work in facet labels. This has apparently been fixed at some point.

They will both write the appropriate end-of-line character(s). In addition to that endl will cause the buffer to be committed. You usually don't want to use endl when doing file I/O because the unnecessary commits can impact performance.

Had a similar issue, it turned out the listening port printed was different from what it actually was. Typos in the request string or listening function might make the target server appear to not exist.

One bizarre thing is that in Chrome + Firefox, the MOUSE_LEAVE event isn't dispatched for OPAQUE and TRANSPARENT.

I get a similar error in iOS9 (working with Xcode 7 and Swift 2): Trying to start MapKit location updates without prompting for location authorization. Must call -[CLLocationManager requestWhenInUseAuthorization] or -[CLLocationManager requestAlwaysAuthorization] first. I was following a tutorial but the tutor was using iOS8 and Swift 1.2. Quick and easy with no external tools, works well as long as the two sheets you are comparing are similar:

• Create a third spreadsheet

I think what you're looking for is generally known as an "off-canvas" layout. Here is the standard off-canvas example from the official Bootstrap docs: http://getbootstrap.com/examples/offcanvas/

The "official" example uses a right-side sidebar the toggle off and on separately from the top navbar menu. I also found these off-canvas variations that slide in from the left and may be closer to what you're looking for..

Using inputStream.available()

It is always acceptable for System.in.available() to return 0.

I've found the opposite - it always returns the best value for the number of bytes available. Javadoc for InputStream.available():

Returns an estimate of the number of bytes that can be read (or skipped over) 
from this input stream without blocking by the next invocation of a method for 
this input stream.

An estimate is unavoidable due to timing/staleness. The figure can be a one-off underestimate because new data are constantly arriving. However it always "catches up" on the next call - it should account for all arrived data, bar that arriving just at the moment of the new call. Permanently returning 0 when there are data fails the condition above.

First Caveat: Concrete subclasses of InputStream are responsible for available()

InputStream is an abstract class. It has no data source. It's meaningless for it to have available data. Hence, javadoc for available() also states:

The available method for class InputStream always returns 0.

This method should be overridden by subclasses.

And indeed, the concrete input stream classes do override available(), providing meaningful values, not constant 0s.

Second Caveat: Ensure you use carriage-return when typing input in Windows.

If using System.in, your program only receives input when your command shell hands it over. If you're using file redirection/pipes (e.g. somefile > java myJavaApp or somecommand | java myJavaApp ), then input data are usually handed over immediately. However, if you manually type input, then data handover can be delayed. E.g. With windows cmd.exe shell, the data are buffered within cmd.exe shell. Data are only passed to the executing java program following carriage-return (control-m or <enter>). That's a limitation of the execution environment. Of course, InputStream.available() will return 0 for as long as the shell buffers the data - that's correct behaviour; there are no available data at that point. As soon as the data are available from the shell, the method returns a value > 0. NB: Cygwin uses cmd.exe too.

Simplest solution (no blocking, so no timeout required)

Just use this:

You must use CSS. Can't be done with PHP.

Requirement ::

1. To wait execution of next thread until previous finished.
2. Next thread must not start until previous thread stops, irrespective of time consumption.
3. It must be simple and easy to use.

You can see that takes 6sec before finishing its task which is greater than other thread. So Future.get() waits until the task is done.

If you don't use future.get() it doesn't wait to finish and executes based time consumption.

No need to include your http://domain.com in your if you're submitting a form to the same domain.

Give them a trivial pom with these jars listed as dependencies and instructions to run:

mvn dependency:go-offline

This will pull the dependencies to the local repo.

A more direct solution is dependency:get, but it's a lot of arguments to type:

mvn dependency:get -DrepoUrl=something -Dartifact=group:artifact:version

If you are planning to use JdbcTemplate in multiple locations, it would be a good idea to create a Spring Bean for it.

Using Java Config it would be:

Use Method to Serialize and Deserialize Collection object from memory. This works on Collection Data Types. This Method will Serialize collection of any type to a byte stream. Create a Seperate Class SerilizeDeserialize and add following two methods:

I'd like to add this is a solution to search multiple attributes of an ActiveRecord. Since

Short and simple answer would be,

Constructor : constructor is a default method runs (by default) when component is being constructed. When you create an instance of a class that time also constructor(default method) would be called. So in other words, when the component is being constructed or/and an instance is created constructor(default method) is called and relevant code is written within is called. Basically and generally in Angular2, it used to inject things like services when the component is being constructed for further use.

OnInit: ngOnInit is component's life cycle hook which runs first after constructor(default method) when the component is being initialized.

So, Your constructor will be called first and Oninit will be called later after constructor method.

This was sort of tricky for me too, I did the following which worked pretty well.

• Download the appropriate Python .egg for setuptools (ie, for Python 2.6, you can get it here. Grab the correct one from the PyPI site here.)
• chmod the egg to be executable: chmod a+x [egg] (ie, for Python 2.6, chmod a+x setuptools-0.6c9-py2.6.egg)

The simple solution is to install Python 3. I think why you have this problem is because you are using Python 2. I did this and it worked.

When installing Python 3, make sure to select PIP. It installs it with Python.

You have a couple of basic misconceptions about Java:

I want it to return the array without having to explicitly tell the console to print.

1) Java does not work that way. Nothing ever gets printed implicitly. (Java does not support an interactive interpreter with a "repl" loop ... like Python, Ruby, etc.)

2) The "main" doesn't "return" anything. The method signature is:

  public static void main(String[] args)

and the void means "no value is returned". (And, sorry, no you can't replace the void with something else. If you do then the java command won't recognize the "main" method.)

3) If (hypothetically) you did want your "main" method to return something, and you altered the declaration to allow that, then you still would need to use a return statement to tell it what value to return. Unlike some language, Java does not treat the value of the last statement of a method as the return value for the method. You have to use a return statement ...
