In latin1 each character is exactly one byte long. In utf8 a character can consist of more than one byte. Consequently utf8 has more characters than latin1 (and the characters they do have in common aren't necessarily represented by the same byte/bytesequence).
To get just the value (without attribute names), use string()
:
string(//Parent[@id='1']/Children/child/@name)
The fn:string() fucntion will return the value of its argument as xs:string
. In case its argument is an attribute, it will therefore return the attribute's value as xs:string
.
ArrayList
is the collections of different types data whereas List<>
is the collection of similar type of its own depedencties.
In my case the issue was a missing 's' in the HTTP URL. Error was: "HttpHostConnectException: Connect to someendpoint.com:80 [someendpoint.com/127.0.0.1] failed: Connection refused" End point and IP obviously changed to protect the network.
You can use swiftmailer for it. By using batch process.
<?php
$message = Swift_Message::newInstance()
->setSubject('Let\'s get together today.')
->setFrom(array('[email protected]' => 'From Me'))
->setBody('Here is the message itself')
->addPart('<b>Test message being sent!!</b>', 'text/html');
$data = mysql_query('SELECT first, last, email FROM users WHERE is_active=1') or die(mysql_error());
while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($data))
{
$message->addTo($row['email'], $row['first'] . ' ' . $row['last']);
}
$message->batchSend();
?>
There is no specific event for capturing browser close event.
You can only capture on unload of the current page.
By this method, it will be effected while refreshing / navigating the current page.
Even calculating of X Y postion of the mouse event doesn't give you good result.
Here's a function that will work for any Container:
template <class Container>
const bool contains(const Container& container, const typename Container::value_type& element)
{
return std::find(container.begin(), container.end(), element) != container.end();
}
Note that you can get away with 1 template parameter because you can extract the value_type
from the Container. You need the typename
because Container::value_type
is a dependent name.
$('elemId').length
doesn't work for me.
You need to put #
before element id:
$('#elemId').length
---^
With vanilla JavaScript, you don't need the hash (#
) e.g. document.getElementById('id_here')
, however when using jQuery, you do need to put hash to target elements based on id
just like CSS.
It's recommended to put the image to the resources, than you can use it like this:
imageView = new ImageView("/gui.img/img.jpg");
The TypeScript team, and other TypeScript involved teams, plan to create a standard formal TSDoc specification. The 1.0.0
draft hasn't been finalised yet: https://github.com/Microsoft/tsdoc#where-are-we-on-the-roadmap
TypeScript uses JSDoc. e.g.
/** This is a description of the foo function. */
function foo() {
}
To learn jsdoc : https://jsdoc.app/
But you don't need to use the type annotation extensions in JSDoc.
You can (and should) still use other jsdoc block tags like @returns
etc.
Just an example. Focus on the types (not the content).
JSDoc version (notice types in docs):
/**
* Returns the sum of a and b
* @param {number} a
* @param {number} b
* @returns {number}
*/
function sum(a, b) {
return a + b;
}
TypeScript version (notice the re-location of types):
/**
* Takes two numbers and returns their sum
* @param a first input to sum
* @param b second input to sum
* @returns sum of a and b
*/
function sum(a: number, b: number): number {
return a + b;
}
For those stuck with legacy issues, find the line throwing the error and add {passive: true}
- eg:
this.element.addEventListener(t, e, !1)
becomes
this.element.addEventListener(t, e, { passive: true} )
exit
is a helper for the interactive shell - sys.exit
is intended for use in programs.
The
site
module (which is imported automatically during startup, except if the-S
command-line option is given) adds several constants to the built-in namespace (e.g.exit
). They are useful for the interactive interpreter shell and should not be used in programs.
Technically, they do mostly the same: raising SystemExit
. sys.exit
does so in sysmodule.c:
static PyObject *
sys_exit(PyObject *self, PyObject *args)
{
PyObject *exit_code = 0;
if (!PyArg_UnpackTuple(args, "exit", 0, 1, &exit_code))
return NULL;
/* Raise SystemExit so callers may catch it or clean up. */
PyErr_SetObject(PyExc_SystemExit, exit_code);
return NULL;
}
While exit
is defined in site.py and _sitebuiltins.py, respectively.
class Quitter(object):
def __init__(self, name):
self.name = name
def __repr__(self):
return 'Use %s() or %s to exit' % (self.name, eof)
def __call__(self, code=None):
# Shells like IDLE catch the SystemExit, but listen when their
# stdin wrapper is closed.
try:
sys.stdin.close()
except:
pass
raise SystemExit(code)
__builtin__.quit = Quitter('quit')
__builtin__.exit = Quitter('exit')
Note that there is a third exit option, namely os._exit, which exits without calling cleanup handlers, flushing stdio buffers, etc. (and which should normally only be used in the child process after a fork()
).
You need to install the provisioning profile (drag and drop it into iTunes). Then drag and drop the .ipa. Ensure you device is set to sync apps, and try again.
If you are using Babel or such transpilers and using async/await you could do :
function onDrop() {
console.log("dropped");
}
async function dropAll( collections ) {
const drops = collections.map(col => conn.collection(col).drop(onDrop) );
await drops;
console.log("all dropped");
}
For iTunes 12, drag the .ipa file from the Finder to the Apps area NOT inside your device (in iTunes)... alternately, you can just double click on the .ipa in the Finder.
Important note: you have to change Version and/or Build number. Otherwise, you get no notice from iTunes at all...
Then switch to your device in iTunes, and install or update the application.
Then hit sync.
One thing that this doesn't answer is what happens when you click on one of the options in the select list after you have done your size = n and made it absolute positioning.
Because the blur event makes it size = 1 and changes it back to how it looks, you should have something like this as well
$("option").click(function(){
$(this).parent().blur();
});
Also, if you're having issues with the absolute positioned select list showing behind other elements, just put a
z-index: 100;
or something like that in the style of the select.
By close, do you mean you want the current instance of the console app to close, or do you want the application process, to terminate? Missed that all important exit code:
Environment.Exit(0);
Or to close the current instance of the form:
this.Close();
Useful link.
I got the same error message (Eclipse Enterprise 2020-06, Tomcat 8.5, dynamic web project), even after I downloaded version 1.2.5 of the jst library (here), dropped it into the "WEB-INF/lib" folder and added <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %>
to the very top of the jsp file.
Using version 1.2 (here) instead fixed it.

First of all, since Spring doesn't do persistence itself, it cannot specify what readOnly
should exactly mean. This attribute is only a hint to the provider, the behavior depends on, in this case, Hibernate.
If you specify readOnly
as true
, the flush mode will be set as FlushMode.NEVER
in the current Hibernate Session preventing the session from committing the transaction.
Furthermore, setReadOnly(true) will be called on the JDBC Connection, which is also a hint to the underlying database. If your database supports it (most likely it does), this has basically the same effect as FlushMode.NEVER
, but it's stronger since you cannot even flush manually.
Now let's see how transaction propagation works.
If you don't explicitly set readOnly
to true
, you will have read/write transactions. Depending on the transaction attributes (like REQUIRES_NEW
), sometimes your transaction is suspended at some point, a new one is started and eventually committed, and after that the first transaction is resumed.
OK, we're almost there. Let's see what brings readOnly
into this scenario.
If a method in a read/write transaction calls a method that requires a readOnly transaction, the first one should be suspended, because otherwise a flush/commit would happen at the end of the second method.
Conversely, if you call a method from within a readOnly transaction that requires read/write, again, the first one will be suspended, since it cannot be flushed/committed, and the second method needs that.
In the readOnly-to-readOnly, and the read/write-to-read/write cases the outer transaction doesn't need to be suspended (unless you specify propagation otherwise, obviously).
You could try this:
{% if not profile.user.first_name.value %}
<p> -- </p>
{% else %}
{{ profile.user.first_name }} {{ profile.user.last_name }}
{% endif %}
This way, you're essentially checking to see if the form field first_name
has any value associated with it. See {{ field.value }}
in Looping over the form's fields in Django Documentation.
I'm using Django 3.0.
/bin/sh
is usually some other shell trying to mimic The Shell. Many distributions use /bin/bash
for sh
, it supports source
. On Ubuntu, though, /bin/dash
is used which does not support source
. Most shells use .
instead of source
. If you cannot edit the script, try to change the shell which runs it.
AFAIU java.lang.Process is the process created by java itself (like Runtime.exec('firefox'))
You can use system-dependant commands like
Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
if (System.getProperty("os.name").toLowerCase().indexOf("windows") > -1)
rt.exec("taskkill " +....);
else
rt.exec("kill -9 " +....);

I think the simplest solution, rather than making the body
element partially transparent, would be to add an extra div
to hold the background, and change the opacity there, instead.
So you would add a div
like:
<div id="background"></div>
And move your body
element's background CSS to it, as well as some additional positioning properties, like this:
#background {
position: fixed;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-image: url('images/background.jpg');
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-size: 100%;
opacity: 0.8;
filter:alpha(opacity=80);
}

Building upon David's answer, my two pennies on the onActivityResult()

public List<Uri> getPicturesUriFromIntent(Intent data, Uri cameraUri) {
Outcome outcome = Outcome.unknown;
if (data == null || (data.getData() == null && data.getClipData() == null)) {
outcome = Outcome.camera;
} else if (data.getData() != null && data.getClipData() == null) {
outcome = Outcome.singleLibrary;
} else if (data.getData() == null) {
outcome = Outcome.multipleLibrary;
} else {
final String action = data.getAction();
if (action != null && action.equals(MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE)) {
outcome = Outcome.camera;
}
}
// list the uri(s) we got back
List<Uri> uris = new ArrayList<>();
switch (outcome) {
case camera:
uris.add(cameraUri);
break;
case singleLibrary:
uris.add(data.getData());
break;
case multipleLibrary:
final ClipData clipData = data.getClipData();
for (int i = 0; i < clipData.getItemCount(); i++) {
ClipData.Item item = clipData.getItemAt(i);
uris.add(item.getUri());
}
break;
}
return uris;
}
Another method could be to split the string by ":" and then pop off the end.
var newString = string.split(":").pop();
I hope you are aware about System and User environmental variables. The user ones are preferred over system. If you have set your JAVA_HOME in system variables and if there is an entry for the same in user variables, then you will get the latter one only.
Right click on My computer, Go to properties, Select Advanced tab and click on Environmental variables to see the list of user and system environment variables.
It will kill not only all plot windows, but all processes that are called python3, except the current script you run. It works for python3. So, if you are running any other python3 script it will be terminated. As I only run one script at once, it does the job for me.

Thanks to Steven's suggestion to use fetchColumn, here's my recommendation to cut short one line from your code.
$DBH = new PDO( "connection string goes here" );
$STH = $DBH->query( "select figure from table1" );
$result = $STH->fetchColumn();
echo $result;
$DBH = null;
You could split things up, it would require more code but would work just the way you like it:
DateTime year = DateTime.Now.Year;
DateTime month = DateTime.Now.Month;
DateTime day = DateTime.Now.Day;
ect.
finally:
Console.WriteLine(year+month+day+etc.);
This is a very bold way of handling it though...
image_tag is the best way to do the job friend
You don't need PHP script on server side. Do that in the client side only, in browsers that accept Data URIs:
data:application/csv;charset=utf-8,content_encoded_as_url
The Data URI will be something like:
data:application/csv;charset=utf-8,Col1%2CCol2%2CCol3%0AVal1%2CVal2%2CVal3%0AVal11%2CVal22%2CVal33%0AVal111%2CVal222%2CVal333
You can call this URI by:
window.open
window.location
To test, simply copy the URIs above and paste in your browser address bar. Or test the anchor below in a HTML page:
<a download="somedata.csv" href="data:application/csv;charset=utf-8,Col1%2CCol2%2CCol3%0AVal1%2CVal2%2CVal3%0AVal11%2CVal22%2CVal33%0AVal111%2CVal222%2CVal333">Example</a>
To create the content, getting the values from the table, you can use table2CSV mentioned by MelanciaUK and do:
var csv = $table.table2CSV({delivery:'value'});
window.location.href = 'data:application/csv;charset=UTF-8,' + encodeURIComponent(csv);
function my_simple_crypt( $string, $action = 'e' ) {
// you may change these values to your own
$secret_key = 'my_simple_secret_key';
$secret_iv = 'my_simple_secret_iv';
$output = false;
$encrypt_method = "AES-256-CBC";
$key = hash( 'sha256', $secret_key );
$iv = substr( hash( 'sha256', $secret_iv ), 0, 16 );
if( $action == 'e' ) {
$output = base64_encode( openssl_encrypt( $string, $encrypt_method, $key, 0, $iv ) );
}
else if( $action == 'd' ){
$output = openssl_decrypt( base64_decode( $string ), $encrypt_method, $key, 0, $iv );
}
return $output;
}
I think your problem is that you are not using good OO design for your player and enemies. Create two classes:
public class Player
{
int X;
int Y;
int Width;
int Height;
// Getters and Setters
}
public class Enemy
{
int X;
int Y;
int Width;
int Height;
// Getters and Setters
}
Your Player should have X,Y,Width,and Height variables.
Your enemies should as well.
In your game loop, do something like this (C#):
foreach (Enemy e in EnemyCollection)
{
Rectangle r = new Rectangle(e.X,e.Y,e.Width,e.Height);
Rectangle p = new Rectangle(player.X,player.Y,player.Width,player.Height);
// Assuming there is an intersect method, otherwise just handcompare the values
if (r.Intersects(p))
{
// A Collision!
// we know which enemy (e), so we can call e.DoCollision();
e.DoCollision();
}
}
To speed things up, don't bother checking if the enemies coords are offscreen.
If you're already using lodash
, you could use the inRange()
function:
https://lodash.com/docs/4.17.15#inRange
_.inRange(3, 2, 4);
// => true
_.inRange(4, 8);
// => true
_.inRange(4, 2);
// => false
_.inRange(2, 2);
// => false
_.inRange(1.2, 2);
// => true
_.inRange(5.2, 4);
// => false
_.inRange(-3, -2, -6);
// => true
A short function I wrote a while back to pack a wchar_t array into a char array. Characters that aren't on the ANSI code page (0-127) are replaced by '?' characters, and it handles surrogate pairs correctly.
size_t to_narrow(const wchar_t * src, char * dest, size_t dest_len){
size_t i;
wchar_t code;
i = 0;
while (src[i] != '\0' && i < (dest_len - 1)){
code = src[i];
if (code < 128)
dest[i] = char(code);
else{
dest[i] = '?';
if (code >= 0xD800 && code <= 0xD8FF)
// lead surrogate, skip the next code unit, which is the trail
i++;
}
i++;
}
dest[i] = '\0';
return i - 1;
}
There are a number of ways of achieving your result. If you're just wanting a solution for your case, use string multiplication as @Ant mentions. This is only going to work if each of your print
statements prints the same string. Note that it works for multiplication of any length string (e.g. 'foo' * 20
works).
>>> print 'a' * 20
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
If you want to do this in general, build up a string and then print it once. This will consume a bit of memory for the string, but only make a single call to print
. Note that string concatenation using +=
is now linear in the size of the string you're concatenating so this will be fast.
>>> for i in xrange(20):
... s += 'a'
...
>>> print s
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Or you can do it more directly using sys.stdout.write(), which print
is a wrapper around. This will write only the raw string you give it, without any formatting. Note that no newline is printed even at the end of the 20 a
s.
>>> import sys
>>> for i in xrange(20):
... sys.stdout.write('a')
...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa>>>
Python 3 changes the print
statement into a print() function, which allows you to set an end
parameter. You can use it in >=2.6 by importing from __future__
. I'd avoid this in any serious 2.x code though, as it will be a little confusing for those who have never used 3.x. However, it should give you a taste of some of the goodness 3.x brings.
>>> from __future__ import print_function
>>> for i in xrange(20):
... print('a', end='')
...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa>>>
var string = "Hello";
var str = string.substring(0, string.length-1);
alert(str);
In simpler case (when html tags is the same):
<h2 th:text="${potentially_complex_expression} ? 'Hello' : 'Something else'">/h2>
On Linux, macOS and Unix to display the groups to which you belong, use:
id -Gn
which is equivalent to groups
utility which has been obsoleted on Unix (as per Unix manual).
On macOS and Unix, the command id -p
is suggested for normal interactive.
Explanation of the parameters:
-G
,--groups
- print all group IDs
-n
,--name
- print a name instead of a number, for-ugG
-p
- Make the output human-readable.
I have recently written a light weight proxy in c# .net using TcpListener and TcpClient.
https://github.com/titanium007/Titanium-Web-Proxy
It supports secure HTTP the correct way, client machine needs to trust root certificate used by the proxy. Also supports WebSockets relay. All features of HTTP 1.1 are supported except pipelining. Pipelining is not used by most modern browsers anyway. Also supports windows authentication (plain, digest).
You can hook up your application by referencing the project and then see and modify all traffic. (Request and response).
As far as performance, I have tested it on my machine and works without any noticeable delay.
You can access the data-type of a column with dtype
:
for y in agg.columns:
if(agg[y].dtype == np.float64 or agg[y].dtype == np.int64):
treat_numeric(agg[y])
else:
treat_str(agg[y])
He,
in my case I needed a solution where anytime any props would change, I needed to parse my data again. I was tired of making seperated watcher for all my props, so I used this:
watch: {
$props: {
handler() {
this.parseData();
},
deep: true,
immediate: true,
},
Key point to take away from this example is to use deep: true
so it not only watches $props but also it's nested values like e.g. props.myProp
You can learn more about this extended watch options here: https://vuejs.org/v2/api/#vm-watch
Maximum element value in priceValues[] is maxPriceValues :
double[] priceValues = new double[3];
priceValues [0] = 1;
priceValues [1] = 2;
priceValues [2] = 3;
double maxPriceValues = priceValues.Max();
This would work fine.

As stated in seong's comment:
Also see http://golang.org/doc/effective_go.html#maps. The important part is really the "reference to underlying data structure". This also applies to slices.
However, none of the solutions here seem to offer a solution for a proper deep copy that also covers slices.
I've slightly altered Francesco Casula's answer to accommodate for both maps and slices.
This should cover both copying your map itself, as well as copying any child maps or slices. Both of which are affected by the same "underlying data structure" issue. It also includes a utility function for performing the same type of Deep Copy on a slice directly.
Keep in mind that the slices in the resulting map will be of type []interface{}
, so when using them, you will need to use type assertion to retrieve the value in the expected type.
Example Usage
copy := CopyableMap(originalMap).DeepCopy()
Source File (util.go
)
package utils
type CopyableMap map[string]interface{}
type CopyableSlice []interface{}
// DeepCopy will create a deep copy of this map. The depth of this

// making the copy.
func (m CopyableMap) DeepCopy() map[string]interface{} {
result := map[string]interface{}{}
for k,v := range m {
// Handle maps
mapvalue,isMap := v.(map[string]interface{})
if isMap {
result[k] = CopyableMap(mapvalue).DeepCopy()
continue
}
// Handle slices
slicevalue,isSlice := v.([]interface{})
if isSlice {
result[k] = CopyableSlice(slicevalue).DeepCopy()
continue
}
result[k] = v
}
return result
}
// DeepCopy will create a deep copy of this slice. The depth of this
// copy is all inclusive. Both maps and slices will be considered when
// making the copy.
func (s CopyableSlice) DeepCopy() []interface{} {
result := []interface{}{}
for _,v := range s {
// Handle maps
mapvalue,isMap := v.(map[string]interface{})
if isMap {
result = append(result, CopyableMap(mapvalue).DeepCopy())
continue
}
// Handle slices
slicevalue,isSlice := v.([]interface{})
if isSlice {
result = append(result, CopyableSlice(slicevalue).DeepCopy())
continue
}
result = append(result, v)
}
return result
}

C# developer working on Windows here. What works for me is simply download the file eng.traineddata from the following URL:
https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tessdata/blob/master/eng.traineddata
and copy it to the following directory in my Console Application project:
[Project Directory]\bin\Debug\tessdata
I did manually create the tessdata folder above.
Found a really helpful link for that. Using SQLCMD for this is really easier than solving this with a stored procedure

Some browsers repeat the thead
element on each page, as they are supposed to. Others need some help: Add this to your CSS:
thead {display: table-header-group;}
tfoot {display: table-header-group;}
Opera 7.5 and IE 5 won't repeat headers no matter what you try.

I have just made a solution for it. I made a library for this to do that in a reusable way that's why you don't need to recode in your XML. Here is documentation on how to use it in Java and Kotlin. First, initialize it from an activity from where you want to show the overlay-
AppWaterMarkBuilder.doConfigure()
.setAppCompatActivity(MainActivity.this)
.setWatermarkProperty(R.layout.layout_water_mark)
.showWatermarkAfterConfig();
Then you can hide and show it from anywhere in your app -
/* For hiding the watermark*/
AppWaterMarkBuilder.hideWatermark()
/* For showing the watermark*/
AppWaterMarkBuilder.showWatermark()
Gif preview -
You can determine if as certain word is found in a cell by using
If InStr(cell.Value, "Word1") > 0 Then
If Word1 is found in the string the InStr()
function will return the location of the first character of Word1 in the string.
As noticed in comments start with sent_tokenize(), because word_tokenize() works only on a single sentence. You can filter out punctuation with filter(). And if you have an unicode strings make sure that is a unicode object (not a 'str' encoded with some encoding like 'utf-8').
from nltk.tokenize import word_tokenize, sent_tokenize
text = '''It is a blue, small, and extraordinary ball. Like no other'''
tokens = [word for sent in sent_tokenize(text) for word in word_tokenize(sent)]
print filter(lambda word: word not in ',-', tokens)
LDAP is just a protocol to access structured information. LDAP has standardized local and remote access to information whereas in case of database there is only standardized local access and remote access is proprietary.
LDAP server is optimized for search operation and database for transactions(Insert/Delete).

It is better to use the functionality provided by Eclipse which does a pretty good job and you can put your efforts and energy in developing the business logic.

Configuring the CORS response headers on the server wasn't really an option. You should configure a proxy in client side.
Sample to Angular - So, I created a proxy.conf.json file to act as a proxy server. Below is my proxy.conf.json file:
{
"/api": {
"target": "http://localhost:49389",
"secure": true,
"pathRewrite": {
"^/api": "/api"
},
"changeOrigin": true
}
}
Put the file in the same directory the package.json then I modified the start command in the package.json file like below
"start": "ng serve --proxy-config proxy.conf.json"
now, the http call from the app component is as follows:
return this.http.get('/api/customers').map((res: Response) => res.json());
Lastly to run use npm start or ng serve --proxy-config proxy.conf.json
Using a single sed
echo "/var/cpanel/users/joebloggs:DNS9=domain.com" | sed 's/.*\/\(.*\):.*/\1/'
Artistically, if you need to fit two or more lines of text within the same width regardless of their character count then you have nice options.
It's best to find a dynamical solution so whatever text is entered we end up with a nice display.
Let's see how we may approach.
var els = document.querySelectorAll(".divtext"),_x000D_
refWidth = els[0].clientWidth,_x000D_
refFontSize = parseFloat(window.getComputedStyle(els[0],null)_x000D_
.getPropertyValue("font-size"));_x000D_
_x000D_
els.forEach((el,i) => el.style.fontSize = refFontSize * refWidth / els[i].clientWidth + "px")
_x000D_
#container {_x000D_
display: inline-block;_x000D_
background-color: black;_x000D_
padding: 0.6vw 1.2vw;_x000D_
}_x000D_
.divtext {_x000D_
display: table;_x000D_
color: white;_x000D_
font-family: impact;_x000D_
font-size: 4.5vw;_x000D_
}
_x000D_
<div id="container">_x000D_
<div class="divtext">THIS IS JUST AN</div>_x000D_
<div class="divtext">EXAMPLE</div>_x000D_
<div class="divtext">TO SHOW YOU WHAT</div>_x000D_
<div class="divtext">YOU WANT</div>_x000D_
</div>
_x000D_
All we do is to get the width (els[0].clientWidth
) and the font size (parseFloat(window.getComputedStyle(els[0],null).getPropertyValue("font-size"))
) of the first line as a reference and then just calculate the subsequent lines font size accordingly.
I've found an solution. I use an solution of Steve Gentile, jQuery and ASP.NET MVC – sending JSON to an Action – Revisited.
My ASP.NET MVC view code looks like:
function getplaceholders() {
var placeholders = $('.ui-sortable');
var results = new Array();
placeholders.each(function() {
var ph = $(this).attr('id');
var sections = $(this).find('.sort');
var section;
sections.each(function(i, item) {
var sid = $(item).attr('id');
var o = { 'SectionId': sid, 'Placeholder': ph, 'Position': i };
results.push(o);
});
});
var postData = { widgets: results };
var widgets = results;
$.ajax({
url: '/portal/Designer.mvc/SaveOrUpdate',
type: 'POST',
dataType: 'json',
data: $.toJSON(widgets),
contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
success: function(result) {
alert(result.Result);
}
});
};
and my controller action is decorated with an custom attribute
[JsonFilter(Param = "widgets", JsonDataType = typeof(List<PageDesignWidget>))]
public JsonResult SaveOrUpdate(List<PageDesignWidget> widgets
Code for the custom attribute can be found here (the link is broken now).
Because the link is broken this is the code for the JsonFilterAttribute
public class JsonFilter : ActionFilterAttribute
{
public string Param { get; set; }
public Type JsonDataType { get; set; }
public override void OnActionExecuting(ActionExecutingContext filterContext)
{
if (filterContext.HttpContext.Request.ContentType.Contains("application/json"))
{
string inputContent;
using (var sr = new StreamReader(filterContext.HttpContext.Request.InputStream))
{
inputContent = sr.ReadToEnd();
}
var result = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject(inputContent, JsonDataType);
filterContext.ActionParameters[Param] = result;
}
}
}
JsonConvert.DeserializeObject is from Json.NET
Conversion from symlinks could be useful. Link in a Git folder instead of a symlink by a script.
If none of the other answers are satisfactory, you could always just create an empty row and style it with CSS appropriately to be transparent.

I had the following error message Port 80 in use by "Unable to open process" with PID 4! Apache WILL NOT start without the configured ports free! You need to uninstall/disable/reconfigure the blocking application or reconfigure Apache and the Control Panel to listen on a different port Starting Check-Timer Control Panel Ready
opened the httpd.conf and changed the listen port from 80 to 1234 in both places
Listen 1234
Then go to Config for the xampp control panel and go to service and port setting and changed the port from 80 to 1234
That worked.
A simple one that works well with modals:
.directive('focusMeNow', ['$timeout', function ($timeout)
{
return {
restrict: 'A',
link: function (scope, element, attrs)
{
$timeout(function ()
{
element[0].focus();
});
}
};
}])
Example
<input ng-model="your.value" focus-me-now />
Use the TextInputLayout

If you installed xcode and upgraded to mountain lion, or you don't have the latest command line tools installed, or you have zsh or other shells, you can shortcut to some of the embedded tools in the developer directory with:
xcrun make
On the documentation:
http://docs.opencv.org/2.4/modules/core/doc/basic_structures.html#mat
It says:
(...) if you know the matrix element type, e.g. it is float, then you can use at<>() method
That is, you can use:
Mat M(100, 100, CV_64F);
cout << M.at<double>(0,0);
Maybe it is easier to use the Mat_
class. It is a template wrapper for Mat
.
Mat_
has the operator()
overloaded in order to access the elements.
If you are using Solr + Mysql + Java, you can use:
This can be Used :
In above case this is one of the solutions to store your emoticons in your system.
Steps to use it:
Library used: import java.net.URLDecoder; import java.net.URLEncoder;
Code example:
import java.net.URLDecoder;
import java.net.URLEncoder;
public static void main(String[] args) {
//SpringApplication.run(ParticipantApplication.class, args);
System.out.println(encodeStringUrl("3?5?3????????????? "));
System.out.println(decodeStringUrl("Hello+emoticons%2C%2C%F0%9F%98%80%F0%9F%98%81%F0%9F%98%8A%F0%9F%98%8B%F0%9F%98%8E%F0%9F%98%8A%F0%9F%98%8D%E2%98%BA%F0%9F%98%98%E2%98%BA%F0%9F%98%91%F0%9F%98%87%F0%9F%98%98%F0%9F%98%8B%F0%9F%90%84"));
}
public static String encodeStringUrl(String url) {
String encodedUrl =null;
try {
encodedUrl = URLEncoder.encode(url, "UTF-8");
} catch (UnsupportedEncodingException e) {
return encodedUrl;
}
return encodedUrl;
}
public static String decodeStringUrl(String encodedUrl) {
String decodedUrl =null;
try {
decodedUrl = URLDecoder.decode(encodedUrl, "UTF-8");
} catch (UnsupportedEncodingException e) {
return decodedUrl;
}
return decodedUrl;
}
You can try this:
TextFormField(
keyboardType: TextInputType.number,
decoration: InputDecoration(
prefixIcon: Text("Enter your number: ")
),
initialValue: "5",
onSaved: (input) => _value = num.tryParse(input),
),
The man page explains that you can enter command line mode in a running session by typing Ctrl+A, :, then issuing the scrollback <num>
command.
You could either access the element’s value by its name:
document.getElementsByName("textbox1"); // returns a list of elements with name="textbox1"
document.getElementsByName("textbox1")[0] // returns the first element in DOM with name="textbox1"
So:
<input name="buttonExecute" onclick="execute(document.getElementsByName('textbox1')[0].value)" type="button" value="Execute" />
Or you assign an ID to the element that then identifies it and you can access it with getElementById
:
<input name="textbox1" id="textbox1" type="text" />
<input name="buttonExecute" onclick="execute(document.getElementById('textbox1').value)" type="button" value="Execute" />
Your code is referencing this library
You can include it, and then your code in question should run as is. If you want to do this without prepending the library & build it with builtin functions only - follow answer from @Seb3736.

High-Level Design (HLD) involves decomposing a system into modules, and representing the interfaces & invocation relationships among modules. An HLD is referred to as software architecture.
LLD, also known as a detailed design, is used to design internals of the individual modules identified during HLD i.e. data structures and algorithms of the modules are designed and documented.
Now, HLD and LLD are actually used in traditional Approach (Function-Oriented Software Design) whereas, in OOAD, the system is seen as a set of objects interacting with each other.
As per the above definitions, a high-level design document will usually include a high-level architecture diagram depicting the components, interfaces, and networks that need to be further specified or developed. The document may also depict or otherwise refer to work flows and/or data flows between component systems.
Class diagrams with all the methods and relations between classes come under LLD. Program specs are covered under LLD. LLD describes each and every module in an elaborate manner so that the programmer can directly code the program based on it. There will be at least 1 document for each module. The LLD will contain - a detailed functional logic of the module in pseudo code - database tables with all elements including their type and size - all interface details with complete API references(both requests and responses) - all dependency issues - error message listings - complete inputs and outputs for a module.
Slight adjustment to answers from ARobertson and Kenneth Wilson that worked for me.
Running R 3.6.0, with library(tidyverse) and library(dplyr) in my environment:
library(tidyverse)
library(dplyr)
> df %<>% mutate_if(is.character, as.numeric)
Error in df %<>% mutate_if(is.character, as.numeric) :
could not find function "%<>%"
I did some quick research and found this note in Hadley's "The tidyverse style guide".
The magrittr package provides the %<>% operator as a shortcut for modifying an object in place. Avoid this operator.
# Good x <- x %>% abs() %>% sort() # Bad x %<>% abs() %>% sort()
Solution
Based on that style guide:
df_clean <- df %>% mutate_if(is.character, as.numeric)
Working example
> df_clean <- df %>% mutate_if(is.character, as.numeric)

except Exception as e: # (as opposed to except Exception, e:)
# ^ that will just look for two classes, Exception and e
# for the repr
print(repr(e))
# for just the message, or str(e), since print calls str under the hood
print(e)
# the arguments that the exception has been called with.
# the first one is usually the message. (OSError is different, though)
print(e.args)

The rest of answers are pretty good, but just wanted to add some extra information in case someone comes here looking for a solution to replace/update a multiline echo.
So I would like to share an example with you all. The following script was tried on a CentOS system and uses "timedatectl" command which basically prints some detailed time information of your system.
I decided to use that command as its output contains multiple lines and works perfectly for the example below:
#!/bin/bash
while true; do
COMMAND=$(timedatectl) #Save command result in a var.
echo "$COMMAND" #Print command result, including new lines.
sleep 3 #Keep above's output on screen during 3 seconds before clearing it
#Following code clears previously printed lines
LINES=$(echo "$COMMAND" | wc -l) #Calculate number of lines for the output previously printed
for (( i=1; i <= $(($LINES)); i++ ));do #For each line printed as a result of "timedatectl"
tput cuu1 #Move cursor up by one line
tput el #Clear the line
done
done
The above will print the result of "timedatectl
" forever and will replace the previous echo with updated results.
I have to mention that this code is only an example, but maybe not the best solution for you depending on your needs.
A similar command that would do almost the same (at least visually) is "watch -n 3 timedatectl
".
But that's a different story. :)
Hope that helps!
The relevel()
command is a shorthand method to your question. What it does is reorder the factor so that whatever is the ref level is first. Therefore, reordering your factor levels will also have the same effect but gives you more control. Perhaps you wanted to have levels 3,4,0,1,2. In that case...
bFactor <- factor(b, levels = c(3,4,0,1,2))
I prefer this method because it's easier for me to see in my code not only what the reference was but the position of the other values as well (rather than having to look at the results for that).
NOTE: DO NOT make it an ordered factor. A factor with a specified order and an ordered factor are not the same thing. lm()
may start to think you want polynomial contrasts if you do that.
So I've gone ahead and answered my own question :)
@True's answer regarded transforming an element to a specific height. The problem with this is I don't know the height of the element (it can fluctuate).
I found other solutions around which used max-height as the transition but this produced a very jerky animation for me.
My solution below works only in WebKit browsers.
Although not purely CSS, it involves transitioning the height, which is determined by some JS.

The error:
'int' object has no attribute '__getitem__'
means that you're attempting to apply the index operator []
on an int, not a list. So is col
not a list, even when it should be? Let's start from that.
Look here:
col = [[0 for col in range(5)] for row in range(6)]
Use a different variable name inside, looks like the list comprehension overwrites the col
variable during iteration. (Not during the iteration when you set col
, but during the following ones.)
Set the method attribute to POST because file content can't be put inside a URL parameter using a form.
Set the value of enctype to multipart/form-data because the data will be split into multiple parts, one for each file plus one for the text of the form body that may be sent with them.
In Xcode 11
, you can provide only one image with 1x, 2x, and 3x scales then set it in LaunchScreen.storyboard
to fill up the screen and everything goes well!
For Example: (1242pt x 2688pt @1x)
This is the portrait screen size of iPhone 11 Pro Max
which is the large iPhone screen size yet so it will give you high-quality splash screen on all iOS devices.
I have collected all sizes needed for the splash screen. All u need is to just drag images with these sizes and drop them, Xcode will place each size in the right place.
Good luck.
320×480
640×960
640×1136
750×1334
768×1004
768×1024
828×1792
1024×748
1024×768
1125×2436
1242×2208
1242×2688
1536×2008
1536×2048
1792×828
2048×1496
2048×1536
2208×1242
2436×1125
2688×1242
Note
Count of required images are 26 images but there are 6 duplicated sizes so u will find the above sizes are only 20.
I'll add one thing: where I'm at we used to have a bunch of batch jobs that ran every night. However, we're moving away from that to using a client application scheduled in windows scheduled tasks that kicks off each job. There are (at least) three reasons for this:
It's a real short VB.Net app: I can post code if any one is interested.
If you have access to manipulate the code of the site you are loading, the following should provide a comprehensive method to updating the height of the iframe
container anytime the height of the framed content changes.
Add the following code to the pages you are loading (perhaps in a header). This code sends a message containing the height of the HTML container any time the DOM is updated (if you're lazy loading) or the window is resized (when the user modifies the browser).
window.addEventListener("load", function(){
if(window.self === window.top) return; // if w.self === w.top, we are not in an iframe
send_height_to_parent_function = function(){
var height = document.getElementsByTagName("html")[0].clientHeight;
//console.log("Sending height as " + height + "px");
parent.postMessage({"height" : height }, "*");
}
// send message to parent about height updates
send_height_to_parent_function(); //whenever the page is loaded
window.addEventListener("resize", send_height_to_parent_function); // whenever the page is resized
var observer = new MutationObserver(send_height_to_parent_function); // whenever DOM changes PT1
var config = { attributes: true, childList: true, characterData: true, subtree:true}; // PT2
observer.observe(window.document, config); // PT3
});
Add the following code to the page that the iframe is stored on. This will update the height of the iframe, given that the message came from the page that that iframe loads.
<script>
window.addEventListener("message", function(e){
var this_frame = document.getElementById("healthy_behavior_iframe");
if (this_frame.contentWindow === e.source) {
this_frame.height = e.data.height + "px";
this_frame.style.height = e.data.height + "px";
}
})
</script>
var s = ' a b word word. word, wordword word ';
// with ES5:
s = s.split(' ').filter(function(n){ return n != '' }).join(' ');
console.log(s); // "a b word word. word, wordword word"
// or ES2015:
s = s.split(' ').filter(n => n).join(' ');
console.log(s); // "a b word word. word, wordword word"
_x000D_
Can even substitute filter(n => n)
with .filter(String)
It splits the string by whitespaces, remove them all empty array items from the array (the ones which were more than a single space), and joins all the words again into a string, with a single whitespace in between them.
The problem shows up when you're using mysql_connect
in your code lines so just add it as in mysqli_cOnnect
and it will solve the Problem.
you also Have to then use mysqli
throughout your code lines or the Problem would surface again.
example mysql_select_db
will then be mysqL_select_db
.
That's for selecting Database.
Thanks hope this helps
You need to use the css-property font-face to declare your font. Have a look at this fancy site: http://www.font-face.com/
Example:
@font-face {
font-family: MyHelvetica;
src: local("Helvetica Neue Bold"),
local("HelveticaNeue-Bold"),
url(MgOpenModernaBold.ttf);
font-weight: bold;
}
See also: MDN @font-face
Here is a jQuery plugin for fixed table headers. It allows the entire page to scroll, freezing the header when it reaches the top. It works well with Twitter Bootstrap tables.
GitHub repository: https://github.com/oma/table-fixed-header
It does not scroll only table content. Look to other tools for that, as one of these other answers. You decide what fits your case the best.
ALTER TABLE TABLE_NAME MODIFY COLUMN_NAME VARCHAR(40);
Late to the question - but I am using Oracle SQL Developer and @anonymous's answer was the closest but kept receiving syntax errors until I edited the query to this.
Hope this helps someone
If you are running your application just on localhost and it is not yet live, I believe it is very difficult to send mail using this.
Once you put your application online, I believe that this problem should be automatically solved. By the way,ini_set() helps you to change the values in php.ini during run time.
This is the same question as Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25
also check this php mail function not working
Yes, you need to use global foo
if you are going to write to it.
foo = []
def bar():
global foo
...
foo = [1]
Does the hash exist (with 0 as the value) or is it "put" to the map on the first increment? If it is "put" on the first increment, the code should look like:
if (hashmap.containsKey(key)) {
hashmap.put(key, hashmap.get(key)+1);
} else {
hashmap.put(key,1);
}
Version without subselect:
SELECT f.title,
f.content,
MIN(a.artist_name) artist_name
FROM feeds f
LEFT JOIN feeds_artists fa ON fa.feed_id = f.id
LEFT JOIN artists a ON fa.artist_id = a.artist_id
GROUP BY f.id
Assuming that I
is your input image and F
is its Fourier Transform (i.e. F = fft2(I)
)
You can use this code:
F = fftshift(F); % Center FFT
F = abs(F); % Get the magnitude
F = log(F+1); % Use log, for perceptual scaling, and +1 since log(0) is undefined
F = mat2gray(F); % Use mat2gray to scale the image between 0 and 1
imshow(F,[]); % Display the result
One table for layout wouldn't be that bad. But you can't get the layout you need with just one table most of the time. Pretty soon you have 2 or three nested tables. This becomes very cumbersome.
It IS a LOT harder to read. That's not up to opinion. There's just more nested tags with no identifying marks on them.
Separating content from presentation is a good thing because it allows you to focus on what you're doing. Mixing the two leads to bloated pages that are hard to read.
CSS for styles allows your browser to cache the files and subsequent requests are much faster. This is HUGE.
Tables lock you into a design. Sure, not everyone needs the flexibility of CSS Zen Garden, but I've never worked on a site where I didn't need to change the design a little bit here and there. It's much easier with CSS.
Tables are hard to style. You don't have very much flexibility with them (i.e. you still need to add HTML attributes to fully control a table's styles)
I haven't used tables for non-tabular data in probably 4 years. I haven't looked back.
I'd really like to suggest reading CSS Mastery by Andy Budd. It's fantastic.
Assuming you wanted to do this synchronously, using the WebClient.OpenRead(...) method and setting the timeout on the Stream that it returns will give you the desired result:
using (var webClient = new WebClient())
using (var stream = webClient.OpenRead(streamingUri))
{
if (stream != null)
{
stream.ReadTimeout = Timeout.Infinite;
using (var reader = new StreamReader(stream, Encoding.UTF8, false))
{
string line;
while ((line = reader.ReadLine()) != null)
{
if (line != String.Empty)
{
Console.WriteLine("Count {0}", count++);
}
Console.WriteLine(line);
}
}
}
}
Deriving from WebClient and overriding GetWebRequest(...) to set the timeout @Beniamin suggested, didn't work for me as, but this did.
Another option is to use nav-justified
..
<nav class="navbar navbar-default" role="navigation">
<div class="navbar-header">
<button type="button" class="navbar-toggle" data-toggle="collapse" data-target=".navbar-collapse">
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
<span class="icon-bar"></span>
</button>
</div>
<div class="navbar-collapse collapse">
<ul class="nav nav-justified">
<li><a href="#" class="navbar-brand">Brand</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
</nav>
CSS
.navbar-brand {
float:none;
}
If you use jCanvas library you can use opacity property when drawing. If you need fade effect on top of that, simply redraw with different values.
It has 2 purposes.
yentup has given the first one.
It's used for raising your own errors.
if something: raise Exception('My error!')
The second is to reraise the current exception in an exception handler, so that it can be handled further up the call stack.
try:
generate_exception()
except SomeException as e:
if not can_handle(e):
raise
handle_exception(e)
For Sequelize 4
Query
SELECT * FROM Student WHERE LastName='Doe'
AND (FirstName = "John" or FirstName = "Jane") AND Age BETWEEN 18 AND 24
Syntax with Operators
const Op = require('Sequelize').Op;
var r = await to (Student.findAll(
{
where: {
LastName: "Doe",
FirstName: {
[Op.or]: ["John", "Jane"]
},
Age: {
// [Op.gt]: 18
[Op.between]: [18, 24]
}
}
}
));
Notes
$
(e.g $and
, $or
...){freezeTableName: true}
set in the table model then Sequelize will query against the plural form of its name ( Student -> Students )No, that's the correct way to do it. This worked exactly as it should, something you can work from perhaps:
using System;
class Program {
static void Main(string[] args) {
System.AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += UnhandledExceptionTrapper;
throw new Exception("Kaboom");
}
static void UnhandledExceptionTrapper(object sender, UnhandledExceptionEventArgs e) {
Console.WriteLine(e.ExceptionObject.ToString());
Console.WriteLine("Press Enter to continue");
Console.ReadLine();
Environment.Exit(1);
}
}
Do keep in mind that you cannot catch type and file load exceptions generated by the jitter this way. They happen before your Main() method starts running. Catching those requires delaying the jitter, move the risky code into another method and apply the [MethodImpl(MethodImplOptions.NoInlining)] attribute to it.
If you are using Razor view engine then edit the _Layout.cshtml file. Move the @Scripts.Render("~/bundles/jquery") present in footer to the header section and write the javascript / jquery code as you want:
@Scripts.Render("~/bundles/jquery")
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
var divLength = $('div').length;
alert(divLength);
});
</script>
You need a dependency property for this:
public BindingList<User> Users
{
get { return (BindingList<User>)GetValue(UsersProperty); }
set { SetValue(UsersProperty, value); }
}
public static readonly DependencyProperty UsersProperty =
DependencyProperty.Register("Users", typeof(BindingList<User>),
typeof(OptionsDialog));
Once that is done, you bind the checkbox to the dependency property:
<CheckBox x:Name="myCheckBox"
IsChecked="{Binding ElementName=window1, Path=CheckBoxIsChecked}" />
For that to work you have to name your Window or UserControl in its openning tag, and use that name in the ElementName parameter.
With this code, whenever you change the property on the code side, you will change the textbox. Also, whenever you check/uncheck the textbox, the Dependency Property will change too.
EDIT:
An easy way to create a dependency property is typing the snippet propdp, which will give you the general code for Dependency Properties.
All the code:
XAML:
<Window x:Class="StackOverflowTests.Window1"
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
Title="Window1" x:Name="window1" Height="300" Width="300">
<Grid>
<StackPanel Orientation="Vertical">
<CheckBox Margin="10"
x:Name="myCheckBox"
IsChecked="{Binding ElementName=window1, Path=IsCheckBoxChecked}">
Bound CheckBox
</CheckBox>
<Label Content="{Binding ElementName=window1, Path=IsCheckBoxChecked}"
ContentStringFormat="Is checkbox checked? {0}" />
</StackPanel>
</Grid>
</Window>
C#:
using System.Windows;
namespace StackOverflowTests
{
/// <summary>
/// Interaction logic for Window1.xaml
/// </summary>
public partial class Window1 : Window
{
public bool IsCheckBoxChecked
{
get { return (bool)GetValue(IsCheckBoxCheckedProperty); }
set { SetValue(IsCheckBoxCheckedProperty, value); }
}
// Using a DependencyProperty as the backing store for
//IsCheckBoxChecked. This enables animation, styling, binding, etc...
public static readonly DependencyProperty IsCheckBoxCheckedProperty =
DependencyProperty.Register("IsCheckBoxChecked", typeof(bool),
typeof(Window1), new UIPropertyMetadata(false));
public Window1()
{
InitializeComponent();
}
}
}
Notice how the only code behind is the Dependency Property. Both the label and the checkbox are bound to it. If the checkbox changes, the label changes too.
With option 2 in @agstudy's answer now deprecated, defining data with a function can be handy.
library(plyr)
ggplot(data=dat) +
geom_line(aes(Value1, Value2, group=ID, colour=ID),
data=function(x){x$ID %in% c("P1", "P3"))
This approach comes in handy if you wish to reuse a dataset in the same plot, e.g. you don't want to specify a new column in the data.frame, or you want to explicitly plot one dataset in a layer above the other.:
library(plyr)
ggplot(data=dat, aes(Value1, Value2, group=ID, colour=ID)) +
geom_line(data=function(x){x[!x$ID %in% c("P1", "P3"), ]}, alpha=0.5) +
geom_line(data=function(x){x[x$ID %in% c("P1", "P3"), ]})
I created a little example that shows 3 different and simple ways of dealing with threads. I hope it will help you find the right approach to your problem.
import sys
import time
from PyQt5.QtCore import (QCoreApplication, QObject, QRunnable, QThread,
QThreadPool, pyqtSignal)
# Subclassing QThread
# http://qt-project.org/doc/latest/qthread.html
class AThread(QThread):
def run(self):
count = 0
while count < 5:
time.sleep(1)
print("A Increasing")
count += 1
# Subclassing QObject and using moveToThread
# http://blog.qt.digia.com/blog/2007/07/05/qthreads-no-longer-abstract
class SomeObject(QObject):
finished = pyqtSignal()
def long_running(self):
count = 0
while count < 5:
time.sleep(1)
print("B Increasing")
count += 1
self.finished.emit()
# Using a QRunnable
# http://qt-project.org/doc/latest/qthreadpool.html
# Note that a QRunnable isn't a subclass of QObject and therefore does
# not provide signals and slots.
class Runnable(QRunnable):
def run(self):
count = 0
app = QCoreApplication.instance()
while count < 5:
print("C Increasing")
time.sleep(1)
count += 1
app.quit()
def using_q_thread():
app = QCoreApplication([])
thread = AThread()
thread.finished.connect(app.exit)
thread.start()
sys.exit(app.exec_())
def using_move_to_thread():
app = QCoreApplication([])
objThread = QThread()
obj = SomeObject()
obj.moveToThread(objThread)
obj.finished.connect(objThread.quit)
objThread.started.connect(obj.long_running)
objThread.finished.connect(app.exit)
objThread.start()
sys.exit(app.exec_())
def using_q_runnable():

If you're on Linux, or have cygwin available on Windows, you can run the input XML through a simple sed script that will replace <Active>True</Active>
with <Active>true</Active>
, like so:
cat <your XML file> | sed 'sX<Active>True</Active>X<Active>true</Active>X' | xmllint --schema -
If you're not, you can still use a non-validating xslt pocessor (xalan, saxon etc.) to run a simple xslt transformation on the input, and only then pipe it to xmllint.
What the xsl should contain something like below, for the example you listed above (the xslt processor should be 2.0 capable):
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="2.0">
<xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:for-each select="XML">
<xsl:for-each select="Active">
<xsl:value-of select=" replace(current(), 'True','true')"/>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
I am using Ubuntu 12.04 / Eclipse 4.2.1 / CDT 8.1.1 and I used to have the same problem for quite some time: importing a C++ project from SVN would cause these annoying "Unresolved inclusion" errors and I would instead have to create a new project and copy the files in there as a work-around (still partial, since SVN functionality would not be there!).
At last, I have just found a simple, satisfactory solution:
Go to Project -> Properties -> C/C++ General -> Preprocessor Include Paths, Macros etc. -> Providers
and check Enable language settings providers for this project
.
Restart Eclipse.
Hopefully that already does the trick.
If you are using Excel 2013 Than do the following File > Option > Advanced > Under Display options for this worksheet: uncheck the checkbox before Show formulas in cells instead of their calculated results This should resolve the issue.
I have a Droid 3 (Verizon). I went to Motorola here and found the driver for the device 'Motorola ADB Interface' which was showing in device manager. It's kind of a big download for just the driver, but during installation it found it and installed correctly.
Direct answer: No
But you can simulate reference with wrappers.
And do the following:
void changeString( _<String> str ) {
str.s("def");
}
void testRef() {
_<String> abc = new _<String>("abc");
changeString( abc );
out.println( abc ); // prints def
}
Out
void setString( _<String> ref ) {
str.s( "def" );
}
void testOut(){
_<String> abc = _<String>();
setString( abc );
out.println(abc); // prints def
}
And basically any other type such as:
_<Integer> one = new <Integer>(1);
addOneTo( one );
out.println( one ); // May print 2
You should use flexbox to achieve this. It's not supported in IE8 and IE9 and only with the -ms prefix in IE10, but all other browsers support it. For vendor prefixes, you should also use autoprefixer.
.parent {
display: flex;
flex-wrap: wrap; // allow wrapping items
}
.child {
flex-grow: 1;
flex-basis: 50%; // 50% for two in a row, 33% three in a row etc.
}
window load will wait for all resources to be loaded.
document ready waits for the document to be initialized.
unload well, waits till the document is being unloaded.
the order is: document ready, window load, ... ... ... ... window unload.
always use document ready unless you need to wait for your images to load.
shorthand for document ready:
$(function(){
// yay!
});
From the man page, npm start:
runs a package's "start" script, if one was provided. If no version is specified, then it starts the "active" version.
Admittedly, that description is completely unhelpful, and that's all it says. At least it's more documented than socket.io.
Anyhow, what really happens is that npm looks in your package.json file, and if you have something like
"scripts": { "start": "coffee server.coffee" }
then it will do that. If npm can't find your start script, it defaults to:
node server.js
Just a slight addition to the above solution if you are having problem with downloaded file's name...
Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=\"" + file.Name + "\"");
This will return the exact file name even if it contains spaces or other characters.
It really depends on your definition of special characters. I find that a whitelist rather than a blacklist is the best approach in most situations:
tmp = Regex.Replace(n, "[^0-9a-zA-Z]+", "");
You should be careful with your current approach because the following two items will be converted to the same string and will therefore be indistinguishable:
"TRA-12:123"
"TRA-121:23"
This won't fix branches that already have the code you don't want in them (see below for how to do that), but if they had pulled some-branch and now want it to be clean (and not "ahead" of origin/some-branch) then you simply:
git checkout some-branch # where some-branch can be replaced by any other branch
git branch base-branch -D # where base-branch is the one with the squashed commits
git checkout -b base-branch origin/base-branch # recreating branch with correct commits
Note: You can combine these all by putting && between them
Note2: Florian mentioned this in a comment, but who reads comments when looking for answers?
Note3: If you have contaminated branches, you can create new ones based off the new "dumb branch" and just cherry-pick commits over.
Ex:
git checkout feature-old # some branch with the extra commits
git log # gives commits (write down the id of the ones you want)
git checkout base-branch # after you have already cleaned your local copy of it as above
git checkout -b feature-new # make a new branch for your feature
git cherry-pick asdfasd # where asdfasd is one of the commit ids you want
# repeat previous step for each commit id
git branch feature-old -D # delete the old branch
Now feature-new is your branch without the extra (possibly bad) commits!
actions.js
const axios = require('axios');
const types = require('./types');
export const actions = {
GET_CONTENT({commit}){
axios.get(`${URL}`)
.then(doc =>{
const content = doc.data;
commit(types.SET_CONTENT , content);
setTimeout(() =>{
commit(types.IS_LOADING , false);
} , 1000);
}).catch(err =>{
console.log(err);
});
},
}
home.vue
<script>
import {value , onCreated} from "vue-function-api";
import {useState, useStore} from "@u3u/vue-hooks";
export default {
name: 'home',
setup(){
const store = useStore();
const state = {
...useState(["content" , "isLoading"])
};
onCreated(() =>{
store.value.dispatch("GET_CONTENT" );
});
return{
...state,
}
}
};
</script>

This is what I quickly wrote for myself:
public static class XmlDocumentExtensions
{
public static void IterateThroughAllNodes(
this XmlDocument doc,
Action<XmlNode> elementVisitor)
{
if (doc != null && elementVisitor != null)
{
foreach (XmlNode node in doc.ChildNodes)
{
doIterateNode(node, elementVisitor);
}
}
}
private static void doIterateNode(
XmlNode node,
Action<XmlNode> elementVisitor)
{
elementVisitor(node);
foreach (XmlNode childNode in node.ChildNodes)
{
doIterateNode(childNode, elementVisitor);
}
}
}
To use it, I've used something like:

Maybe it helps someone out there.
Well, since the date of this question post, a Python library addressed this topic. pynput library, from Moses Palmer, is GREAT to catch keyboard and mouse events in a very simple way.
(mind the missing 'i' in pynput - I missed it too... ;-) )
You should map it to FLOAT(53)- that's what LINQ to SQL does.
For the Android library projects, I do it as in the attached screenshot:
Right click the project, select Properties->Android and in the library section click Add. From here you can select the available libraries.
If you are importing a jar file, then importing them as jar or external jar, as other posters posted would work. I prefer to copy/paste jar file in the libs folder (create one if it doesn't exist) and then import as jar.
I'm in the process of porting a computation-intensive Android app written in Java to iOS6. I'm doing this by porting the non-UI parts from Java to C++, writing the (minimal) UI parts in Obj-C, and wrapping the former in a (small) C interface using the standard C/C++ technique, so that it can be accessed from Obj-C, which is after all a superset of C.
This has been effective so far, and I haven't encountered any gotchas. It seems to be a legitimate approach, since Xcode lets you create C++ classes as well as Obj-C classes, and some of the official sample code does things this way. I haven't had to go outside any officially supported interfaces to do this.
There wouldn't seem to be much to gain from writing my remaining UI code in C++ even if it were possible, in view of the help given to you by the interface builder in Xcode, so my answer would be that you can use C++ for almost all your app, or as much of it as you find appropriate/convenient.
I'm looking for a function that checks only if it's one of the Latin letters or a decimal number. Since char c = 255
, which in printable version is + and considered as a letter by Character.isLetter(c)
.
This function I think is what most developers are looking for:
private static boolean isLetterOrDigit(char c) {
return (c >= 'a' && c <= 'z') ||
(c >= 'A' && c <= 'Z') ||
(c >= '0' && c <= '9');
}
check if a user exists or not. If not insert
$exist = DB::table('User')->where(['username'=>$username,'password'=>$password])->get();
if(count($exist) >0) {
echo "User already exist";;
}
else {
$data=array('username'=>$username,'password'=>$password);
DB::table('User')->insert($data);
}

No need for scripts or other 'tricks': openssl
and ssh-keygen
are enough. I'm assuming no password for the keys (which is bad).
All the following methods give an RSA key pair in the same format
With openssl (man genrsa)
openssl genrsa -out dummy-genrsa.pem 2048
In OpenSSL v1.0.1 genrsa
is superseded by genpkey
so this is the new way to do it (man genpkey):
openssl genpkey -algorithm RSA -out dummy-genpkey.pem -pkeyopt rsa_keygen_bits:2048
With ssh-keygen
ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 2048 -f dummy-ssh-keygen.pem -N '' -C "Test Key"
If you have an RSA key pair in DER format, you may want to convert it to PEM to allow the format conversion below:
Generation:
openssl genpkey -algorithm RSA -out genpkey-dummy.cer -outform DER -pkeyopt rsa_keygen_bits:2048
Conversion:
openssl rsa -inform DER -outform PEM -in genpkey-dummy.cer -out dummy-der2pem.pem
in PEM format:
openssl rsa -in dummy-xxx.pem -pubout
in OpenSSH v2 format see:
ssh-keygen -y -f dummy-xxx.pem
OS and software version:
[user@test1 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release ; uname -a ; openssl version
CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
Linux test1.example.local 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Nov 22 03:15:09 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

RanRag has already answered it for your specific question.
However, more generally, what you are doing with
if [[ "$string" =~ ^hello ]]
is a regex match. To do the same in Python, you would do:
import re
if re.match(r'^hello', somestring):
# do stuff
Obviously, in this case, somestring.startswith('hello')
is better.
I'm using Anaconda on Windows 10, with a GTX 1660 Super. I first installed the CUDA environment following this step-by-step. However there is now a keras-gpu
metapackage available on Anaconda which apparently doesn't require installing CUDA and cuDNN libraries beforehand (mine were already installed anyway).
This is what worked for me to create a dedicated environment named keras_gpu
:
# need to downgrade from tensorflow 2.1 for my particular setup
conda create --name keras_gpu keras-gpu=2.3.1 tensorflow-gpu=2.0
To add on @johncasey 's answer but for TensorFlow 2.0, adding this block works for me:
import tensorflow as tf
from tensorflow.python.keras import backend as K
# adjust values to your needs
config = tf.compat.v1.ConfigProto( device_count = {'GPU': 1 , 'CPU': 8} )
sess = tf.compat.v1.Session(config=config)
K.set_session(sess)
This post solved the set_session
error I got: you need to use the keras backend from the tensorflow path instead of keras itself.
Depending on your needs, you want to use their section feeds, their search feeds
http://news.google.com/news?q=apple&output=rss
or Bing News Search.
If you can use some dynamic query, you can use LEN
. It will give false on both empty and null string. By this way you can implement the option parameter.
ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[psProducts]
(@SearchType varchar(50))
AS
BEGIN
SET NOCOUNT ON;
DECLARE @Query nvarchar(max) = N'
SELECT
P.[ProductId],
P.[ProductName],
P.[ProductPrice],
P.[Type]
FROM [Product] P'
-- if @Searchtype is not null then use the where clause
SET @Query = CASE WHEN LEN(@SearchType) > 0 THEN @Query + ' WHERE p.[Type] = ' + ''''+ @SearchType + '''' ELSE @Query END
EXECUTE sp_executesql @Query
PRINT @Query
END
You can't. That's because that's what browsers were designed to do: Serve content. But you can make it harder to download.
First thing's first, you could disable the contextmenu
event, aka "the right click". That would prevent your regular skiddie from blatantly ripping your video by right clicking and Save As. But then they could just disable JS and get around this or find the video source via the browser's debugger. Plus this is bad UX. There are lots of legitimate things in a context menu than just Save As.
You could also use custom video player libraries. Most of them implement video players that customize the context menu to your liking. So you don't get the default browser context menu. And if ever they do serve a menu item similar to Save As, you can disable it. But again, this is a JS workaround. Weaknesses are similar to the previous option.
Another way to do it is to serve the video using HTTP Live Streaming. What it essentially does is chop up the video into chunks and serve it one after the other. This is how most streaming sites serve video. So even if you manage to Save As, you only save a chunk, not the whole video. It would take a bit more effort to gather all the chunks and stitch them using some dedicated software.
Another technique is to paint <video>
on <canvas>
. In this technique, with a bit of JavaScript, what you see on the page is a <canvas>
element rendering frames from a hidden <video>
. And because it's a <canvas>
, the context menu will use an <img>
's menu, not a <video>
's. You'll get a Save Image As instead of a Save Video As.
You could also use CSRF tokens to your advantage. You'd have your sever send down a token on the page. You then use that token to fetch your video. Your server checks to see if it's a valid token before it serves the video, or get an HTTP 401. The idea is that you can only ever get a video by having a token which you can only ever get if you came from the page, not directly visiting the video url.
At the end of the day, I'd just upload my video to a third-party video site, like YouTube or Vimeo. They have good video management tools, optimizes playback to the device, and they make efforts in preventing their videos from being ripped with zero effort on your end.
Tuples are immutable; you can't change which variables they contain after construction. However, you can concatenate or slice them to form new tuples:
a = (1, 2, 3)
b = a + (4, 5, 6) # (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
c = b[1:] # (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
And, of course, build them from existing values:
name = "Joe"
age = 40
location = "New York"
joe = (name, age, location)
When you are dealing with objects, you want to ignore simple id's as much as convenient.
If you change the click line to this, I think you will be well on your way:
<li class="tutorial_title {{tutorial.active}}" ng-click="loadFromMenu(tutorial)" ng-repeat="tutorial in section.tutorials">
Also, I think you may need to change
class="tutorial_title {{tutorial.active}}"
to something like
ng-class="tutorial_title {{tutorial.active}}"
See http://docs.angularjs.org/misc/faq and look for ng-class.
Here is a similar question to yours. (Practically the same.)
What ways are there to validate PHP code?
Edit
The top answer there suggest this resource:
http://www.meandeviation.com/tutorials/learnphp/php-syntax-check/v4/syntax-check.php
it could be a problem with your specific network adapter. I have a Dell 15R and there are no working drivers for ubuntu or ubuntu server; I even tried compiling wireless drivers myself, but to no avail.
However, in virtualbox, I was able to get wireless working by using the default configuration. It automatically bridged my internal wireless adapter and hence used my native OS's wireless connection for wireless.
If you are trying to get a separate wireless connection from within ubuntu in virtualbox, then it would take more configuring. If so, let me know, if not, I will not bother typing up instructions to something you are not looking to do, as it is quite complicated in some instances.
p.s. you should be using Windows 7 if you have any technical inclination. Do you live under a rock? No offense intended.

To do it in a generic JPA way using getter annotations, the example below works for me with Hibernate 3.5.4 and Oracle 11g. Note that the mapped getter and setter (getOpenedYnString
and setOpenedYnString
) are private methods. Those methods provide the mapping but all programmatic access to the class is using the getOpenedYn
and setOpenedYn
methods.
private String openedYn;
@Transient
public Boolean getOpenedYn() {
return toBoolean(openedYn);
}
public void setOpenedYn(Boolean openedYn) {
setOpenedYnString(toYesNo(openedYn));
}
@Column(name = "OPENED_YN", length = 1)
private String getOpenedYnString() {
return openedYn;
}
private void setOpenedYnString(String openedYn) {
this.openedYn = openedYn;
}
Here's the util class with static methods toYesNo
and toBoolean
:
public class JpaUtil {
private static final String NO = "N";
private static final String YES = "Y";
public static String toYesNo(Boolean value) {
if (value == null)
return null;
else if (value)
return YES;
else
return NO;
}
public static Boolean toBoolean(String yesNo) {
if (yesNo == null)
return null;
else if (YES.equals(yesNo))
return true;
else if (NO.equals(yesNo))
return false;
else
throw new RuntimeException("unexpected yes/no value:" + yesNo);
}
}
It is very simple
public void onClick(View v) {
imgButton.setImageResource(R.drawable.ic_launcher);
}
Using set Background image resource will chanage the background of the button
SELECT * FROM "comments" JOIN (
SELECT 1 as "id",1 as "order" UNION ALL
SELECT 3,2 UNION ALL SELECT 2,3 UNION ALL SELECT 4,4
) j ON "comments"."id" = j."id" ORDER BY j.ORDER
or if you prefer evil over good:
SELECT * FROM "comments" WHERE ("comments"."id" IN (1,3,2,4))
ORDER BY POSITION(','+"comments"."id"+',' IN ',1,3,2,4,')
String.split
takes a regex, and '.' has a special meaning for regexes.
You (probably) want something like:
String[] words = line.split("\\.");
Some folks seem to be having trouble getting this to work, so here is some runnable code you can use to verify correct behaviour.
import java.util.Arrays;
public class TestSplit {
public static void main(String[] args) {
String line = "aa.bb.cc.dd";
String[] words = line.split("\\.");
System.out.println(Arrays.toString(words));
// Output is "[aa, bb, cc, dd]"
}
}
For a new project select the home directory of the jdk
eg C:\Java\jdk1.7.0_99
or C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_99
For an existing project.
1) You need to have a jdk
installed on the system.
for instance in
C:\Java\jdk1.7.0_99
2) go to project structure
under File
menu ctrl+alt+shift+S
3) SDKs
is located under Platform Settings
. Select it.
4) click the green +
up the top of the window.
5) select JDK
(I have to use keyboard to select it do not know why).
select the home directory for your jdk installation.
should be good to go.

Use a progress bar with the style set to Marquee
. This represents an indeterminate progress bar.
myProgressBar.Style = ProgressBarStyle.Marquee;
You can also use the MarqueeAnimationSpeed
property to set how long it will take the little block of color to animate across your progress bar.
This should be the complete answer. As suggested by @GDanger . Extend WebView to override the scroll methods and embed the custom webview within layout xml.
public class ScrollDisabledWebView extends WebView {
private boolean scrollEnabled = false;
public ScrollDisabledWebView(Context context) {
super(context);
initView(context);
}
public ScrollDisabledWebView(Context context, AttributeSet attributeSet) {
super(context, attributeSet);
initView(context);
}
// this is important. Otherwise it throws Binary Inflate Exception.
private void initView(Context context) {
LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) context
.getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE);
}
@Override
protected boolean overScrollBy(int deltaX, int deltaY, int scrollX, int scrollY,
int scrollRangeX, int scrollRangeY, int maxOverScrollX,
int maxOverScrollY, boolean isTouchEvent) {
if (scrollEnabled) {
return super.overScrollBy(deltaX, deltaY, scrollX, scrollY,
scrollRangeX, scrollRangeY, maxOverScrollX, maxOverScrollY, isTouchEvent);
}
return false;
}
@Override
public void scrollTo(int x, int y) {
if (scrollEnabled) {
super.scrollTo(x, y);
}
}
@Override
public void computeScroll() {
if (scrollEnabled) {
super.computeScroll();
}
}
}
And then embed in layout file as follows
<com.sample.apps.ScrollDisabledWebView
android:id="@+id/webView"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:layout_centerInParent="true"
tools:context="com.sample.apps.HomeActivity"/>
Then in the Activity, use some additional methods for disabling scrollbars too.
ScrollDisabledWebView webView = (ScrollDisabledWebView) findViewById(R.id.webView);
webView.setVerticalScrollBarEnabled(false);
webView.setHorizontalScrollBarEnabled(false);
Your major problem is not the stuff to the right of the decimal, it is the stuff to the left. The two values in your type declaration are precision and scale.
From MSDN: "Precision is the number of digits in a number. Scale is the number of digits to the right of the decimal point in a number. For example, the number 123.45 has a precision of 5 and a scale of 2."
If you specify (10, 4), that means you can only store 6 digits to the left of the decimal, or a max number of 999999.9999. Anything bigger than that will cause an overflow.
I implemented the bash script below, it works for me.
It first tries to iconv
from the encoding returned by file --mime-encoding
to utf-8
.
If that fails, it goes through all encodings and shows the diff between the original and re-encoded file. It skips over encodings that produce a large diff output ("large" as defined by the MAX_DIFF_LINES
variable or the second input argument), since those are most likely the wrong encoding.
If "bad things" happen as a result of using this script, don't blame me. There's a rm -f
in there, so there be monsters. I tried to prevent adverse effects by using it on files with a random suffix, but I'm not making any promises.
Tested on Darwin 15.6.0.

What's going wrong with what you have? What error do you get, or what result do or don't you get that doesn't match your expectations?
I can see the following issues with that SP, which may or may not relate to your problem:
)
after @BrandName
in your SELECT
(at the end)@CategoryID
or @BrandName
to anything anywhere (they're local variables, but you don't assign values to them)Edit Responding to your comment: The error is telling you that you haven't declared any parameters for the SP (and you haven't), but you called it with parameters. Based on your reply about @CategoryID
, I'm guessing you wanted it to be a parameter rather than a local variable. Try this:
CREATE PROCEDURE AddBrand
@BrandName nvarchar(50),
@CategoryID int
AS
BEGIN
DECLARE @BrandID int
SELECT @BrandID = BrandID FROM tblBrand WHERE BrandName = @BrandName
INSERT INTO tblBrandinCategory (CategoryID, BrandID) VALUES (@CategoryID, @BrandID)
END
You would then call this like this:
EXEC AddBrand 'Gucci', 23
...assuming the brand name was 'Gucci' and category ID was 23.
You did not described the environment, anyway, you should download apache poi libraries. If you are using eclipse , right click on your root project , so properties and in java build path add external jar and import in your project those libraries :
xmlbeans-2.6.0 ; poi-ooxml-schemas- ... ; poi-ooxml- ... ; poi- .... ;
Another small tip: when going the batch file route, I like to be able to abort it in case I run it accidentally. So the batch file invokes the shutdown but leaves you at the command prompt afterwards.
@echo off
echo Shutting down in 10 seconds. Please type "shutdown /a" to abort.
cmd.exe /K shutdown /f /t 10 /r
Plus, since it's on a timer, you get about the same thrill as you do when hunting in The Oregon Trail.
If you are allowed to use LINQ, take a look at the following example. It creates two DataTables with integer columns, fills them with some records, join them using LINQ query and outputs them to Console.
DataTable dt1 = new DataTable();
dt1.Columns.Add("CustID", typeof(int));
dt1.Columns.Add("ColX", typeof(int));
dt1.Columns.Add("ColY", typeof(int));
DataTable dt2 = new DataTable();
dt2.Columns.Add("CustID", typeof(int));
dt2.Columns.Add("ColZ", typeof(int));
for (int i = 1; i <= 5; i++)
{
DataRow row = dt1.NewRow();
row["CustID"] = i;
row["ColX"] = 10 + i;
row["ColY"] = 20 + i;
dt1.Rows.Add(row);
row = dt2.NewRow();
row["CustID"] = i;
row["ColZ"] = 30 + i;
dt2.Rows.Add(row);

I know this topic is super old, but, in case if someone's looking for an answer, as me, I'm posting my solution.
This solution works IF you don't mind having some extra data at the beginning of your file.
Basically, the idea is to, if file is not existing, to create it and append current date at the first line.
Next, you can read the first line with fgets(fopen($file, 'r'))
, turn it into a DateTime
object or anything (you can obviously use it raw, unless you saved it in a weird format) and voila - you have your creation date! For example my script to refresh my log file every 30 days looks like this:
if (file_exists($logfile)) {
$now = new DateTime();
$date_created = fgets(fopen($logfile, 'r'));
if ($date_created == '') {
file_put_contents($logfile, date('Y-m-d H:i:s').PHP_EOL, FILE_APPEND | LOCK_EX);
}
$date_created = new DateTime($date_created);
$expiry = $date_created->modify('+ 30 days');
if ($now >= $expiry) {
unlink($logfile);
}
}
If you have imported the project, you may have to re-import it the proper way.
Steps :
Tested on AndroidStudio version 1.0.1
Since I spent a while trying to get this to work, it should be noted that if the files already exist in SVN, you need to svn delete
them, and then edit the svn:ignore
property.
I know that seems obvious, but they kept showing up as ?
in my svn status
list, when I thought it would just ignore them locally.
Python lists
translate to JSON arrays
. What it is giving you is a perfectly valid JSON string that could be used in a Javascript application. To get what you expected, you would need to use a dict
:
>>> json.dumps({'apple': 'cat', 'banana':'dog', 'pear':'fish'})
'{"pear": "fish", "apple": "cat", "banana": "dog"}'
I had the same problem and searched the web for several hours but I couldn't find any solution so I made my own. I wondered why the .net configuration system is so inflexible.
Background: I want to have my DAL.dll to have its own config file for database and DAL settings. I also need the app.config for Enterprise Library and its own configurations. So I need both the app.config and dll.config.
What I did not wanted to do is pass-through every property/setting from the app to my DAL layer!
to bend the "AppDomain.CurrentDomain.SetupInformation.ConfigurationFile" is not possible because I need it for the normal app.config behavior.
My requirements/point of views were:
I came up with modifying the Settings.cs file and implemented a method that opens the ClassLibrary1.dll.config and reads the section information in a private field. After that, I've overriden "this[string propertyName]" so the generated Settings.Desginer.cs calls into my new Property instead of the base class. There the setting is read out of the List.
Finally there is the following code:
internal sealed partial class Settings
{
private List<ConfigurationElement> list;
/// <summary>
/// Initializes a new instance of the <see cref="Settings"/> class.
/// </summary>
public Settings()
{
this.OpenAndStoreConfiguration();
}
/// <summary>
/// Opens the dll.config file and reads its sections into a private List of ConfigurationElement.
/// </summary>
private void OpenAndStoreConfiguration()
{
string codebase = System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().CodeBase;
Uri p = new Uri(codebase);
string localPath = p.LocalPath;
string executingFilename = System.IO.Path.GetFileNameWithoutExtension(localPath);
string sectionGroupName = "applicationSettings";
string sectionName = executingFilename + ".Properties.Settings";
string configName = localPath + ".config";
ExeConfigurationFileMap fileMap = new ExeConfigurationFileMap();
fileMap.ExeConfigFilename = configName;
Configuration config = ConfigurationManager.OpenMappedExeConfiguration(fileMap, ConfigurationUserLevel.None);
// read section of properties
var sectionGroup = config.GetSectionGroup(sectionGroupName);
var settingsSection = (ClientSettingsSection)sectionGroup.Sections[sectionName];
list = settingsSection.Settings.OfType<ConfigurationElement>().ToList();
// read section of Connectionstrings
var sections = config.Sections.OfType<ConfigurationSection>();
var connSection = (from section in sections
where section.GetType() == typeof(ConnectionStringsSection)
select section).FirstOrDefault() as ConnectionStringsSection;
if (connSection != null)
{
list.AddRange(connSection.ConnectionStrings.Cast<ConfigurationElement>());
}
}
/// <summary>
/// Gets or sets the <see cref="System.Object"/> with the specified property name.
/// </summary>
/// <value></value>
public override object this[string propertyName]
{
get
{
var result = (from item in list
where Convert.ToString(item.ElementInformation.Properties["name"].Value) == propertyName
select item).FirstOrDefault();
if (result != null)
{
if (result.ElementInformation.Type == typeof(ConnectionStringSettings))
{
return result.ElementInformation.Properties["connectionString"].Value;
}
else if (result.ElementInformation.Type == typeof(SettingElement))
{
return result.ElementInformation.Properties["value"].Value;
}
}
return null;
}
// ignore
set
{
base[propertyName] = value;
}
}
You just will have to copy your ClassLibrary1.dll.config from the ClassLibrary1 output directory to your application's output directory. Perhaps someone will find it useful.
Delete all app files from Phone
To automate the deletion of an app on your phone you can use the steps below. It can be very useful to delete your app and app data on a quick and clean way.
Make a textfile with this code and save it as Uninstall.sh. Go to the folder (where you've put it) of this script in the terminal and do: sh Uninstall.sh YOURNAMESPACE
Now your namespacefolder (including saved appfiles and database) will be deleted.
echo "Going to platform tools $HOME/Library/Android/sdk/platform-tools"
cd $HOME/Library/Android/sdk/platform-tools
echo "uninstalling app with packagae name $1"
./adb uninstall $1
Delete all app files from pc
Make a textfile with this code and save it as DeleteBinObj.sh.
find . -iname "bin" -o -iname "obj" | xargs rm -rf
Go to the folder of your project where you place this script and do in the terminal: sh DeleteBinObj.sh
Considering "I don't have to wait for it to return", one of the easiest solutions will be this:
subprocess.Popen( \
[path_to_executable, arg1, arg2, ... argN],
creationflags = subprocess.CREATE_NEW_CONSOLE,
).pid
But... From what I read this is not "the proper way to accomplish such a thing" because of security risks created by subprocess.CREATE_NEW_CONSOLE
flag.
The key things that happen here is use of subprocess.CREATE_NEW_CONSOLE
to create new console and .pid
(returns process ID so that you could check program later on if you want to) so that not to wait for program to finish its job.
Okay turned out that I made a really silly mistake. The device I am using for testing is running Android 4.0.4, API level 15.
The styles.xml file that I was editing is in the default values folder. I edited the styles.xml in values-v14 folder and it works all fine now.
I prefer this way, not using a cell but a range
Dim cell_to_test As Range, cells_changed As Range
Set cells_changed = Target(1, 1)
Set cell_to_test = Range( RANGE_OF_CELLS_TO_DETECT )
If Not Intersect(cells_changed, cell_to_test) Is Nothing Then
Macro
End If

You can use the following code to both work with the command line and a web browser. Put this code above your PHP code. It creates a $_GET variable for each command line parameter.
In your code you only need to check for $_GET
variables then, not worrying about if the script is called from the web browser or command line.
if(isset($argv))
foreach ($argv as $arg) {
$e=explode("=",$arg);
if(count($e)==2)
$_GET[$e[0]]=$e[1];
else
$_GET[$e[0]]=0;
}
I didn't want to import anything other than csv, and all my lists have the same number of items. The top answer here seems to make the lists into one row each, instead of one column each. Thus I took the answers here and came up with this:
import csv
list1 = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e']
list2 = ['f', 'g', 'i', 'j','k']
with open('C:/test/numbers.csv', 'wb+') as myfile:
wr = csv.writer(myfile)
wr.writerow(("list1", "list2"))
rcount = 0
for row in list1:
wr.writerow((list1[rcount], list2[rcount]))
rcount = rcount + 1
myfile.close()
You can also set DirectoryIndex in apache's httpd.conf file.
CentOS keeps this file in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Debian: /etc/apache2/apache2.conf
Open the file in your text editor and find the line starting with DirectoryIndex
To load landing.html as a default (but index.html if that's not found) change this line to read:
DirectoryIndex landing.html index.html
First, what you are looking for is a column or bar diagram, not really a histogram. A histogram is made from a frequency distribution of a continuous variable that is separated into bins. Here you have a column against separate labels.
To make a bar diagram with matplotlib, use the matplotlib.pyplot.bar()
method. Have a look at this page of the matplotlib documentation that explains very well with examples and source code how to do it.
If it is possible though, I would just suggest that for a simple task like this if you could avoid writing code that would be better. If you have any spreadsheet program this should be a piece of cake because that's exactly what they are for, and you won't have to 'reinvent the wheel'. The following is the plot of your data in Excel:
I just copied your data from the question, used the text import wizard to put it in two columns, then I inserted a column diagram.
.m2 directory on linux box usually would be $HOME/.m2
you could get the $HOME :
echo $HOME
or simply:
cd <enter>
to go to your home directory.

Select ID, IsNull(Cast(ParentID as varchar(max)),'') from Patients
This is needed because field ParentID is not varchar/nvarchar type. This will do the trick:
Select ID, IsNull(ParentID,'') from Patients
I am not saying that this is the best solution or a preferred solution to the given problem. However, it may be useful to remember that functions can return structs. Although functions cannot return arrays, arrays can be wrapped in structs and the function can return the struct thereby carrying the array with it. This works for fixed length arrays.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#include <string.h>
typedef
struct
{
char v[10];
} CHAR_ARRAY;
CHAR_ARRAY returnArray(CHAR_ARRAY array_in, int size)
{
CHAR_ARRAY returned;
/*
. . . methods to pull values from array, interpret them, and then create new array
*/
for (int i = 0; i < size; i++ )
returned.v[i] = array_in.v[i] + 1;
return returned; // Works!
}
int main(int argc, char * argv[])
{
CHAR_ARRAY array = {1,0,0,0,0,1,1};
char arrayCount = 7;
CHAR_ARRAY returnedArray = returnArray(array, arrayCount);
for (int i = 0; i < arrayCount; i++)
printf("%d, ", returnedArray.v[i]); //is this correctly formatted?
getchar();
return 0;
}
I invite comments on the strengths and weaknesses of this technique. I have not bothered to do so.
For this to work, your font also needs to be set to monospace.
If you think about it, lines can't otherwise line up perfectly perfectly.
This answer is detailed at sublime text forum:

This answer has links for choosing an appropriate font for your OS,
and gives an answer to an edge case of fonts not lining up.

On stackoverflow, see:
Michael Ruth's answer here: How to make ruler always be shown in Sublime text 2?
MattDMo's answer here: What is the default font of Sublime Text?
I have rulers set at the following:
30
50 (git commit message titles should be limited to 50 characters)
72 (git commit message details should be limited to 72 characters)
80 (Windows Command Console Window maxes out at 80 character width)
Other viewing environments that benefit from shorter lines:
github: there is no word wrap when viewing a file online
So, I try to keep .js .md and other files at 70-80 characters.
Windows Console: 80 characters.
Since I have used this many times already and didn't see it listed here, I'll add my piece :
$var = @{$true="this is true";$false="this is false"}[1 -eq 1]
ugliest of all !
I test every way, But only working way was re Installing sdk-manager in same path as old one
You are confusing quantmod's 'symbol' (a term relating to a code for some financial thingamuwot) with R's 'symbol', which is a 'type' in R.
You've said:
I have a character vector of stock symbols that I pass to quantmod::getSymbols() and the function returns the symbol to the environment without the quotes
Well almost. What it does is create objects with those names in the specified environment. What I think you want to do is to get things out of an environment by name. And for that you need 'get'. Here's how, example code, working in the default environment:
getSymbols('F',src='yahoo',return.class='ts') [1] "F"
so you have a vector of characters of the things you want:
> z="F"
> z
[1] "F"
and then the magic:
> summary(get(z))
F.Open F.High F.Low F.Close

You want to use URI templates. Look carefully at the README of this project: URLEncoder.encode()
does NOT work for URIs.
Let us take your original URL:
http://site-test.test.com/Meetings/IC/DownloadDocument?meetingId=c21c905c-8359-4bd6-b864-844709e05754&itemId=a4b724d1-282e-4b36-9d16-d619a807ba67&file=\s604132shvw140\Test-Documents\c21c905c-8359-4bd6-b864-844709e05754_attachments\7e89c3cb-ce53-4a04-a9ee-1a584e157987\myDoc.pdf
and convert it to a URI template with two variables (on multiple lines for clarity):
http://site-test.test.com/Meetings/IC/DownloadDocument
?meetingId={meetingID}&itemId={itemID}&file={file}
Now let us build a variable map with these three variables using the library mentioned in the link:
final VariableMap = VariableMap.newBuilder()
.addScalarValue("meetingID", "c21c905c-8359-4bd6-b864-844709e05754")
.addScalarValue("itemID", "a4b724d1-282e-4b36-9d16-d619a807ba67e")
.addScalarValue("file", "\\\\s604132shvw140\\Test-Documents"
+ "\\c21c905c-8359-4bd6-b864-844709e05754_attachments"
+ "\\7e89c3cb-ce53-4a04-a9ee-1a584e157987\\myDoc.pdf")
.build();
final URITemplate template
= new URITemplate("http://site-test.test.com/Meetings/IC/DownloadDocument"
+ "meetingId={meetingID}&itemId={itemID}&file={file}");
// Generate URL as a String
final String theURL = template.expand(vars);
This is GUARANTEED to return a fully functional URL!
I finally got this working.
I think the fact that our project had two different versions of the commons-httpclient jar wasn't helping. Once I sorted that out I found you can do two things...
In code you can put the following:
HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory rf =
(HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory) restTemplate.getRequestFactory();
rf.setReadTimeout(1 * 1000);
rf.setConnectTimeout(1 * 1000);
The first time this code is called it will set the timeout for the HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory
class used by the RestTemplate
. Therefore, all subsequent calls made by RestTemplate
will use the timeout settings defined above.
Or the better option is to do this:
<bean id="RestOperations" class="org.springframework.web.client.RestTemplate">
<constructor-arg>
<bean class="org.springframework.http.client.HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory">
<property name="readTimeout" value="${application.urlReadTimeout}" />
<property name="connectTimeout" value="${application.urlConnectionTimeout}" />
</bean>
</constructor-arg>
</bean>
Where I use the RestOperations
interface in my code and get the timeout values from a properties file.
This also can happen if the device you are trying to run on has some older version of the provisioning profile you are using that points to an old, expired or revoked certificate or a certificate without associated private key. Delete any invalid Provisioning Profiles under your device section in Xcode organizer.
Here is small utility class that converts JSON to DataFrame and back: Hope you find this helpful.
# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-
from pandas.io.json import json_normalize
class DFConverter:
#Converts the input JSON to a DataFrame
def convertToDF(self,dfJSON):
return(json_normalize(dfJSON))
#Converts the input DataFrame to JSON
def convertToJSON(self, df):
resultJSON = df.to_json(orient='records')
return(resultJSON)
This method doesn't call the disambiguation dialog asking you to open either your app or a browser.
If you register the following in your Manifest
<manifest package="com.myApp" .. >
<application ...>
<activity ...>
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE" />
<data
android:host="gallery"
android:scheme="myApp" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
..
and click this url from an email on your phone for example
<a href="intent://gallery?directLink=true#Intent;scheme=myApp;package=com.myApp;end">
Click me
</a>
then android will try to find an app with the package com.myApp that responds to your gallery intent and has a myApp scheme. In case it can't, it will take you to the store, looking for com.myApp, which should be your app.
In case you want to use str()
and a custom str method. This also works for repr.
class TypeProxy:
def __init__(self, _type):
self._type = _type
def __call__(self, *args, **kwargs):
return self._type(*args, **kwargs)
def __str__(self):
return self._type.__name__
def __repr__(self):
return "TypeProxy(%s)" % (repr(self._type),)
>>> str(TypeProxy(str))
'str'
>>> str(TypeProxy(type("")))
'str'
This should also work and is a closer answer to what is asked in the question:
for i in range(len(x)):
if valeur.item(i) <= 0.6:
print ("this works")
else:
print ("valeur is too high")

form = form.concat([

{name: "post_action", value: "Update Information"}
]);

});
I have noticed when using the 2.20.1 version of the maven sunfire plugin, all warnings are written down to a dumpstream file. e.g. /myproject/target/surefire-reports/2017-11-11T23-02-19_850.dumpstream

EDIT: I just realized you want to filter details
, which is an array of hashes. In that case you could do
details.reject { |item| item[:qty].empty? }
The inner data structure itself is not an Array, but a Hash. You can also use select
here, but the block is given the key and value in this case:
irb(main):001:0> h = {:sku=>"507772-B21", :desc=>"HP 1TB 3G SATA 7.2K RPM LFF (3 .", :qty=>"", :qty2=>"1", :price=>"5,204.34 P"}
irb(main):002:0> h.select { |key, value| !value.empty? }
=> {:sku=>"507772-B21", :desc=>"HP 1TB 3G SATA 7.2K RPM LFF (3 .",
:qty2=>"1", :price=>"5,204.34 P"}
Or using reject
, which is the inverse of select
(excludes all items for which the given condition holds):
h.reject { |key, value| value.empty? }
Note that this is Ruby 1.9. If you have to maintain compatibility with 1.8, you could do:
Hash[h.reject { |key, value| value.empty? }]
These are called auto properties.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb384054.aspx
Functionally (and in terms of the compiled IL), they are the same as properties with backing fields.
