The easiest way i tired in xcode 4.52 was to create an additional view and connect them by using segue modal(control drag the button from view one to the second view, chose Modal). Then drag in a button to second view or the modal view that you created. Control and drag this button to the header file and use action connection. This will create an IBaction in your controller.m file. Find your button action type in the code.

You need to use a regular expression, so that you can specify the global (g) flag:

This is the self-invoking anonymous function. It is executed while it is defined. Which means this function is defined and invokes itself immediate after the definition.

Did a quick benchmark. Exceptions aren't actually that expensivve, unless you start popping back multiple methods and the JVM has to do a lot of work to get the execution stack in place. When staying in the same method, they aren't bad performers.

Setup CI for a project

Travis comes in first place. It's very easy to setup. Takes less than a minute to setup with GitHub.

1. Login to GitHub
2. Create Web Hook for Travis.
3. Return to Travis, and login with your GitHub credentials
4. Sync your GitHub repo and enable Push and Pull requests.

Jenkins:

1. Create an Environment (Master Jenkins)
2. Create web hooks
3. Configure each job (takes time compare to Travis)

Re-running builds

Travis: Anyone with write access on GitHub can re-run the build by clicking on `restart build

Jenkins: Re-run builds based on a phrase. You provide phrase text in PR/commit description, like reverify jenkins.

Controlling environment

Travis: Travis provides hosted environment. It installs required software for every build. It’s a time-consuming process.

Jenkins: One-time setup. Installs all required software on a node/slave machine, and then builds/tests on a pre-installed environment.

Build Logs:

Travis: Supports build logs to place in Amazon S3.

Jenkins: Easy to setup with build artifacts plugin.

Meteor's strength is in it's real-time updates feature which works well for some of the social applications you see nowadays where you see everyone's updates for what you're working on. These updates center around replicating subsets of a MongoDB collection underneath the covers as local mini-mongo (their client side MongoDB subset) database updates on your web browser (which causes multiple render events to be fired on your templates). The latter part about multiple render updates is also the weakness. If you want your UI to control when the UI refreshes (e.g., classic jQuery AJAX pages where you load up the HTML and you control all the AJAX calls and UI updates), you'll be fighting this mechanism.

Meteor uses a nice stack of Node.js plugins (Handlebars.js, Spark.js, Bootstrap css, etc. but using it's own packaging mechanism instead of npm) underneath along w/ MongoDB for the storage layer that you don't have to think about. But sometimes you end up fighting it as well...e.g., if you want to customize the Bootstrap theme, it messes up the loading sequence of Bootstrap's responsive.css file so it no longer is responsive (but this will probably fix itself when Bootstrap 3.0 is released soon).

So like all "full stack frameworks", things work great as long as your app fits what's intended. Once you go beyond that scope and push the edge boundaries, you might end up fighting the framework...

I have started using Markdown to post some of my documents to an internal web site for in-house users. It is an easy way to have a document shared but not able to be edited by the viewer.

So, this marking of text in color is “Great”. I have use several like this and works wonderful.

I love the flexibility and ease of use.

The permissions for the storage and vendor folders should stay at 775, for obvious security reasons.

However, both your computer and your server Apache need to be able to write in these folders. Ex: when you run commands like php artisan, your computer needs to write in the logs file in storage.

All you need to do is to give ownership of the folders to Apache :

sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/your/project/vendor
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /path/to/your/project/storage

Then you need to add your computer (referenced by it's username) to the group to which the server Apache belongs. Like so :

sudo usermod -a -G www-data userName

Sure. You could use CSS3 text-shadow :

However it wont show in all browsers right away. Using a script library like Modernizr will help getting it right in most browsers though.

Weirdly I can answer but not comment... I liked Multitaskpro's approach of shifting everything to make the centre of the circle fall on the origin. Unfortunately there are two problems in his code. First in the under-the-square-root part you need to remove the double power. So not:

• My answer about whether Iterables.elementsEqual is best choice:

Iterables.elementsEqual is enough to compare 2 Lists.

Iterables.elementsEqual is used in more general scenarios, It accepts more general types: Iterable. That is, you could even compare a List with a Set. (by iterate order, it is important)

Sure ArrayList and LinkedList define equals pretty good, you could call equals directly. While when you use a not well defined List, Iterables.elementsEqual is the best choice. One thing should be noticed: Iterables.elementsEqual does not accept null

• To convert List to array: Iterables.toArray is easer.

• For unit test, I recommend add empty list to your test case.

pipes now take a variable number of arguments, and not an array that contains all arguments.

An alternative solution is to disable the AOT compiler:

The directory where you will extract your files doesn't need to exist before, you name it at this moment

YOURZIP.zip is the name of the zip if your project is in the same directory. If not, use the PATH i.e : C://....//YOURZIP.zip

To add an image in markdown file the .md file and the image should be in the same directory. As in my case my .md file was in doc folder so i also moved the image into the same folder. After that write the following syntax in .md file

Dherik : I'm not sure about what you say, when you don't use fetch the result will be of type : List<Object[ ]> which means a list of Object tables and not a list of Employee.

Object[0] refers an Employee entity 
Object[1] refers a Departement entity 

When you use fetch, there is just one select and the result is the list of Employee List<Employee> containing the list of departements. It overrides the lazy declaration of the entity.

If the above solutions don't work on ubuntu/linux then you can try this

sudo fuser -k -n tcp port

Run it several times to kill processes on your port of choosing. port could be 3000 for example. You would have killed all the processes if you see no output after running the command

There is no inherent reason that a simple batch file would run in XP but not Windows 10. It is possible you are referencing a command or a 3rd party utility that no longer exists. To know more about what is actually happening, you will need to do one of the following:

• Add a pause to the batch file so that you can see what is happening before it exits.
  1. Right click on one of the .bat files and select "edit". This will open the file in notepad.
  2. Go to the very end of the file and add a new line by pressing "enter".
  3. type pause.
  4. Save the file.
  5. Run the file again using the same method you did before.

- OR -

• Run the batch file from a static command prompt so the window does not close.
  1. In the folder where the .bat files are located, hold down the "shift" key and right click in the white space.
  2. Select "Open Command Window Here".
  3. You will now see a new command prompt. Type in the name of the batch file and press enter.

In C/C++ programming there are two types of strings: the C strings and the standard strings. With the <string> header, we can use the standard strings. On the other hand, the C strings are just an array of normal chars. So, in order to convert a standard string to a C string, we use the c_str() function.

I found out that Eclipse seems to only perform JUnit 3 style tests if your test-class extends from TestCase. If you remove the inheritance, the annotations worked for me.

Beware that you need to statically import all the required assert* methods like import static org.junit.Assert.*.

You can get help from kubectl logs -h and according the info,

You need to do :

gcc -c -o <obj/1.o> <srcs/1.c> <obj/2.o> <srcs/2.c> ...

but with most of macros the result will be all objects followed by all sources, like :

gcc -c -o <all OBJ path> <all SRC path>

so this will not compile anything ^^ and you will not be able to put your objects files in a different dir :(

the solution is to use these special macros

I came across this post as I had the same issue then I thought why mess about with css, adjusting values and hitting refresh when you can easily adjust the opacity in Photoshop? Copy the image, paste it as a new layer then move the opacity slider.

One con I can think of is if you need really fast access to your data in your view (for example, game animation data like bone positions.) It is very inefficient to keep a layer of separation in this case.

Otherwise, for most other applications which are more data driven than graphics driven, it seems like a logical way to drive a UI.

There are two products JavaSE and JavaEE. EE is the web application/enterprise edition that allows the development and running of web application. SE is the plain Java product that has no EE specifics in it, but is a subset of EE. The SE comes in two types a JDK and a JRE.

There is one big difference that may not be obvious, and I am not sure if it applies to all Operating Systems but under Windows the JRE does not have the server HotSpot JVM, only the client one, the JDK has both, and as far as I know all other OS's have both for the JDK and the JRE. The real difference is the the JDK contains the Java compiler, that is the JDK allows you to compile and run Java from source code where as the JRE only allows the running of Java byte code, that is Source that has already been compiled. And yes newer versions bundle a number of extra components, such as NetBeans editor environment and Java in memory Database (derby/cloudscape), but these are optional.

I think you maybe want ts_create as datetime (so rename -> dt_create) and only ts_update as timestamp? This will ensure it remains unchanging once set.

My understanding is that datetime is for manually-controlled values, and timestamp's a bit "special" in that MySQL will maintain it for you. In this case, datetime is therefore a good choice for ts_create.

You could add the DLLs as embedded resources, and then have your program unpack them into the application directory on startup (after checking to see if they're there already).

Setup files are so easy to make, though, that I don't think this would be worth it.

EDIT: This technique would be easy with .NET assemblies. With non-.NET DLLs it would be a lot more work (you'd have to figure out where to unpack the files and register them and so on).

Alternatively you can use the views current layout parameters and modify them:

Lazy loading will produce several SQL calls while Eager loading may load data with one "more heavy" call (with joins/subqueries).

For example, If there is a high ping between your web and sql servers you would go with Eager loading instead of loading related items 1-by-1 with lazy Loading.

I forgot to comment out a line with a MsgBox before executing my macro. Meaning I'd have to click OK over a hundred thousand times. The ESC key was just escaping the message box but not stopping the execution of the macro. Holding the ESC key continuously for a few seconds helped me stop the execution of the code.

I think what you need might be simply:

\d( \w)?

Note that your regex would have worked too if it was written as \d \w|\d instead of \d|\d \w.

This is because in your case, once the regex matches the first option, \d, it ceases to search for a new match, so to speak.

I recently got the same error when trying to load scipy in jupyter (python3.x, win10), although just having upgraded to numpy-1.13.3+mkl through pip. The solution was to simply upgrade the scipy package (from v0.19 to v1.0.0).

Sampling randomizes, so just sample the entire data frame.

A better solution for your problem might be the Charts library. It enables you to use the excellent Highcharts javascript library to make beautiful and interactive plots. Highcharts uses the HTML svg tag so all your charts are actually vector images.

• Interactive charts (zoom, slide, hover over points, ...)
• Usable in an IPython notebook
• Explore hundreds of data structures at the same time using the asynchronous plotting capabilities.

I know this is an old thread but I just ran across it while looking for a similar problem - script was running successfully but not doing its work. I can't find the post that helped me but my issue was that I was running the script as the domain admin. When I followed the suggestion of the post and added the domain admin to the local administrator's group it worked. I hope this helps others with the same issue I had.

All these answers fail when there are directories in the current directory. Here's something that works:

find . -maxdepth 1 -type f | xargs -x ls -t | awk 'NR>5' | xargs -L1 rm

This:

1. works when there are directories in the current directory

2. tries to remove each file even if the previous one couldn't be removed (due to permissions, etc.)

3. fails safe when the number of files in the current directory is excessive and xargs would normally screw you over (the -x)

4. doesn't cater for spaces in filenames (perhaps you're using the wrong OS?)

This is not only a 'newbie' scenario. I just ran across this compiler message (GCC 5.4) when refactoring a class to remove some constructor parameters. I forgot to update both the declaration and definition, and the compiler spit out this unintuitive error.

The bottom line seems to be this: If the compiler can't match the definition's signature to the declaration's signature it thinks the definition is not a constructor and then doesn't know how to parse the code and displays this error. Which is also what happened for the OP: std::string is not the same type as string so the declaration's signature differed from the definition's and this message was spit out.

As a side note, it would be nice if the compiler looked for almost-matching constructor signatures and upon finding one suggested that the parameters didn't match rather than giving this message.

Above answers assume that UTF8 encoding can safely be used - this one is specifically targetted for Windows.

The Windows console normaly uses CP850 encoding and not utf-8, so if you try to use a source file utf8-encoded, you get those 2 (incorrect) characters -¦ instead of a degree °.

Demonstration (using python 2.7 in a windows console):

I was experiencing this issue with nextcloud which would fail to create thumbnails for pdf files.

However, none of the suggested steps would solve the issue for me.

Eventually I found the reason: The accepted answer did work but I had to also restart php-fpm after editing the policy.xml file:

You could use Faux Columns.

Basically it uses a background image in a containing DIV to simulate the two equal-height-DIVs. Using this technique also allowes you to add shadows, rounded corners, custom borders or other funky patterns to your containers.

Required arguments (the ones without defaults), must be at the start to allow client code to only supply two. If the optional arguments were at the start, it would be confusing:

What would that do in your first example? In the last, x is "who is who", y is 3 and a = "jack".

I have had the same problem as noted above. I could not get Eclipse to install because of Java incompatibilities. The sequence I followed goes like this:

1. Upgraded to MAC OS Sierra
2. Downloaded the Eclipse installer but was prompted that I needed to instal a legacy Java.
3. Installed Java 1.6
4. Was unable to install Eclipse and was prompted that I needed Java 1.7 or greater. Downloaded and installed Java 1.8
5. Ran the terminal code 'java -version' // this will check your jre version. This showed returned Java 1.6 despite the fact that I had upgraded to 1.8. The Java version listed in the Java control panel said 1.8
6. Tried multiple downloads of eclipse and Java and multiple restarts always with the same result.
7. Visited the Oracle web page noted above: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html I could not find the above reference to 8u73 and 8u74 but I did find and option to download 1.8.0_12. I did this. It installed without difficulty, and then I was able to install Eclipse without difficulty.

This took hours of my time. I hope this proves useful.

Supposing your content is inside a string named mystring...

You can use:

Alternatively you can convert your string to HtmlString or any other type that implements IHtmlString in model or directly inline and use regular @:

From Visual Studio 2015 and onward, you need to go to the "Exception Settings" dialog (Ctrl+Alt+E) and check off the "Common Language Runtime Exceptions" (or a specific one you want i.e. ArgumentNullException) to make it break on handled exceptions.

The solution if to defined the call to the font twice. First as it is recommended, to be used for all the browsers, and after a particular call only for Chrome with a special media query:

With this method the font will render good in all browsers. The only negative point that I found is that the font file is also downloaded twice.

One way is to add your shortcut keys to the commands themselves them as InputGestures. Commands are implemented as RoutedCommands.

This enables the shortcut keys to work even if they're not hooked up to any controls. And since menu items understand keyboard gestures, they'll automatically display your shortcut key in the menu items text, if you hook that command up to your menu item.

1. Create static attribute to hold a command (preferably as a property in a static class you create for commands - but for a simple example, just using a static attribute in window.cs):

Flask's jsonify() method now serializes top-level arrays as of this commit, available in Flask 0.11 onwards.

For convenience, you can either pass in a Python list: jsonify([1,2,3]) Or pass in a series of args: jsonify(1,2,3)

Declare myIP and myHost in public Variable and use in any function of the form.

This is quite a difficult situation, you can get the package name from the apk file, but i assume you want to do it automatically.

AndroLib has the package names for lots of apps but you would have to parse it as there is no API that i could find. Theres a dev section that may have some tools to help you.

Asked question title is general, but authors use case stated in the body of the question is specific. So any other answers may be used.

But in order to fully answer the title question it should be clarified that it seems like all of the approaches may fail in some cases and require some rework. I reviewed all of them (and some additional) in decreasing of reliability order (in my opinion):

1. Comparing types directly via == (accepted answer).

Despite the fact that this is accepted answer and has most upvotes count, I think this method should not be used at all. Because in fact this approach is discouraged in python as mentioned several times here.
But if one still want to use it - should be aware of some pandas-specific dtypes like pd.CategoricalDType, pd.PeriodDtype, or pd.IntervalDtype. Here one have to use extra type( ) in order to recognize dtype correctly:

2. isinstance() approach.

This method has not been mentioned in answers so far.

So if direct comparing of types is not a good idea - lets try built-in python function for this purpose, namely - isinstance().
It fails just in the beginning, because assumes that we have some objects, but pd.Series or pd.DataFrame may be used as just empty containers with predefined dtype but no objects in it:

>>> Series([], dtype: bool)

But if one somehow overcome this issue, and wants to access each object, for example, in the first row and checks its dtype like something like that:

3. df.dtype.kind approach.

This method yet may work with empty pd.Series or pd.DataFrames but has another problems.

First - it is unable to differ some dtypes:

Second, what is actually still unclear for me, it even returns on some dtypes None.

4. df.select_dtypes approach.

This is almost what we want. This method designed inside pandas so it handles most corner cases mentioned earlier - empty DataFrames, differs numpy or pandas-specific dtypes well. It works well with single dtype like .select_dtypes('bool'). It may be used even for selecting groups of columns based on dtype:

Like so, as stated in the docs:

On may think that here we see first unexpected (at used to be for me: question) results - TimeDelta is included into output DataFrame. But as answered in contrary it should be so, but one have to be aware of it. Note that bool dtype is skipped, that may be also undesired for someone, but it's due to bool and number are in different "subtrees" of numpy dtypes. In case with bool, we may use test.select_dtypes(['bool']) here.

Next restriction of this method is that for current version of pandas (0.24.2), this code: test.select_dtypes('period') will raise NotImplementedError.

And another thing is that it's unable to differ strings from other objects:

test.select_dtypes('object')

But this is, first - already mentioned in the docs. And second - is not the problem of this method, rather the way strings are stored in DataFrame. But anyway this case have to have some post processing.

5. df.api.types.is_XXX_dtype approach.

This one is intended to be most robust and native way to achieve dtype recognition (path of the module where functions resides says by itself) as i suppose. And it works almost perfectly, but still have at least one caveat and still have to somehow distinguish string columns.

Besides, this may be subjective, but this approach also has more 'human-understandable' number dtypes group processing comparing with .select_dtypes('number'):

No timedelta and bool is included. Perfect.

My pipeline exploits exactly this functionality at this moment of time, plus a bit of post hand processing.

Hope I was able to argument the main point - that all discussed approaches may be used, but only pd.DataFrame.select_dtypes() and pd.api.types.is_XXX_dtype should be really considered as the applicable ones.

I think I've seen something similar when folders were moved on the server but the working copies were still bound to the older SVN folder structure. Not sure if anyone moved things around in your trunk before you had the chance to merge the branch.

You were just one step away from incorporating the row count into the base dataset.

Using the tidy() function from the broom package, convert the frequency table into a data frame and inner join with df:

With cache(), you use only the default storage level :

• MEMORY_ONLY for RDD
• MEMORY_AND_DISK for Dataset

With persist(), you can specify which storage level you want for both RDD and Dataset.

From the official docs:

• You can mark an RDD to be persisted using the persist() or cache() methods on it.
• each persisted RDD can be stored using a different storage level
• The cache() method is a shorthand for using the default storage level, which is StorageLevel.MEMORY_ONLY (store deserialized objects in memory).

Use persist() if you want to assign a storage level other than :

• MEMORY_ONLY to the RDD
• or MEMORY_AND_DISK for Dataset

Here's how this worked for me:

1. Save as .txt the certificate data in the following format in a text editor

   -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- [data serialized by microsoft] -----END CERTIFICATE-----

2. Open chrome browser (this step might work with other browsers too) settings > show advanced settings > HTTPS/SSL > manage certificates Import the .txt in step 1
3. Select and export that certificate in Base-64 encoded format. Save it as .cer
4. Now you can use keytool or Portecle to import it to your java keystore

Raj_89 solution is the closest to being valid option altough as mentioned by Kevin Swarts in comment it is going to break IE, which for large number of corporate client is an issue (and telling your client that you won't code for IE "because reasons" is unlikely to make your boss happy ;) ).

So I played around with it and here is the problem: the 'onmousedown' event is throwing a fit in IE, so what we want to do, is to prevent default when user clicks the dropdown for the first time. It is important this is only time we do this: if we prevent defult on the next click, when user makes his pick, the onchange event won't fire.

This way we get nice dropdown, no flicker, no breaking down IE - just works... well at least in IE10 and up, and latest relases of all the other major browsers.

Few more things to notice: 1) The absolute positioning and setting z-index is helpful to avoid moving other elements when the options are displayed. 2) Use 'currentTarget' property - this will be the select element across all browsers. While 'target' will be select in IE, the rest will actually allow you to work with option.

As I should have remembered from countless books, etc., while one sets these properties using the [assembly: XXXAttribute], they get highjacked by the compiler and placed into the VERSIONINFO resource.

For the above reason, you need to use the approach in @Xiaofu's answer as the attributes are stripped after the signal has been extracted from them.

you can try using JSONP . If the API is not supporting jsonp, you have to create a service which acts as a middleman between the API and your client. In my case, i have created a asmx service.

this is the DOM element on which the event was hooked. this.id is its ID. No need to wrap it in a jQuery instance to get it, the id property reflects the attribute reliably on all browsers.

You're not doing this in your code sample, but if you were watching a container with several form elements, that would give you the ID of the container. If you want the ID of the element that triggered the event, you could get that from the event object's target property:

Note using px instead of dp to get exactly 1 pixel divider (some phone DPIs will make a 1dp line disappear).

Considering filter:expression is a Microsoft extension to CSS, so it will only work in Internet Explorer. If you want to grey it out, I would recommend that you set it's opacity to 50% using a bit of javascript.

To get .woff fonts first open the chrome dev tools panel (Ctrl+Shift+i) go to Network and reload the page. There you will see everything the page downloads. Find the .woff file, right click and select Copy response.

The response will be a url so paste it in the navigation bar. A file will be downloaded, just add the .woff extension to it and voila.

Seriously, the top answer is not working for me. tried cxf.version 2.4.1 and 3.0.10. and generate absolute path with wsdlLocation every times.

My solution is to use the wsdl2java command in the apache-cxf-3.0.10\bin\ with -wsdlLocation classpath:wsdl/QueryService.wsdl.
