You can't update with a number greater than 1 for datatype number(2,2) is because, the first parameter is the total number of digits in the number and the second one (.i.e 2 here) is the number of digits in decimal part. I guess you can insert or update data < 1. i.e. 0.12, 0.95 etc.

You have installed the incorrect package named 'serial'.

• Run pip uninstall serial for python 2.x or pip3 uninstall serial for python 3.x

If you are using Marshmallow, you have to either:

First I am afraid your question contains a little mistake. There is not method writeline in class Console. Instead class Console provides method writer() that returns PrintWriter. This print writer has println().

Now what is the difference between

System.console().writer().println("hello from console");

and

System.out.println("hello system out");

If you run your application from command line I think there is no difference. But if console is unavailable System.console() returns null while System.out still exists. This may happen if you invoke your application and perform redirect of STDOUT to file.

Here is an example I have just implemented.

I had this problem too. I solved it by removing the unnecessary blank line between equation tags. This gives the error:

The fix for me was to put "log4j.properties" into the "src" folder. It did not work in my package folder it has to be one up at the very root of source. Adding it to the build path which then moves it to the "Reference Libraries" also did not work.

To repeat: put log4j.properties at the root of your src folder.

The first statement in this policy allows for listing objects inside a specific bucket's sub directory. The resource needs to be the arn of the S3 bucket, and to limit listing to only a sub-directory in that bucket you can edit the "s3:prefix" value.

The second statement in this policy allows for getting objects inside of the bucket at a specific sub-directory. This means that anything inside the "s3://bucket-name/data/all-data/" path you will be able to copy. Be aware that this doesn't allow you to copy from parent paths such as "s3://bucket-name/data/".

This solution is specific to limiting use for AWS CLI commands; if you need to limit S3 access through the AWS console or API, then more policies will be needed. You could be lazy, and wrap it in a lambda:

The easier way is through the web management console:

1. go to the instance
2. select the instance and click on instance action
3. create image

Once you have an image you can launch another cloned instance, data and all. :)

As for the page, I'm working on a higher order component that uses basically the above methods to do exactly this. It actually takes just a bit of time when you get down to the subtleties like initial layout and content changes. I won't claim to have done it 'correctly', but in some sense I'd consider the correct answer to use component that does this carefully and consistently.

If you installed the SquashFS image you can run the script firstboot. That will return OpenWrt to the defaults of when you flashed the router.

With your serial access just run firstboot and then power cycle the device.

The P function requires that the callback signature must be callback(error,result).

Mysql-native has been outdated so it became MySQL2 that is a new module created with the help of the original MySQL module's team. This module has more features and I think it has what you want as it has prepared statements(by using.execute()) like in PHP for more security.

It's also very active(the last change was from 2-1 days) I didn't try it before but I think it's what you want and more.

Use open(file, mode) for files. The mode is a variant of 'r' for read, 'w' for write, and possibly 'b' appended (e.g., 'rb') to open binary files. See the link below.

Use open with readline() or readlines(). The former will return a line at a time, while the latter returns a list of the lines.

Use split(delimiter) to split on the comma.

Lastly, you need to cast each item to an integer: int(foo). You'll probably want to surround your cast with a try block followed by except ValueError as in the link below.

You can also use 'multiple assignment' to assign a and b at once:

pyupgrade is a tool you can run on your code to remove those comments and other no-longer-useful leftovers from Python 2, like having all your classes inherit from object.

If you want the structure of a particular data table(dataTable1) with column headers (without data) into another data table(dataTable2), you can follow the below code:

ASP.NET MVC View Engines (Community Wiki)

Since a comprehensive list does not appear to exist, let's start one here on SO. This can be of great value to the ASP.NET MVC community if people add their experience (esp. anyone who contributed to one of these). Anything implementing IViewEngine (e.g. VirtualPathProviderViewEngine) is fair game here. Just alphabetize new View Engines (leaving WebFormViewEngine and Razor at the top), and try to be objective in comparisons.

System.Web.Mvc.WebFormViewEngine

Design Goals:

A view engine that is used to render a Web Forms page to the response.

Pros:

• ubiquitous since it ships with ASP.NET MVC
• familiar experience for ASP.NET developers
• IntelliSense
• can choose any language with a CodeDom provider (e.g. C#, VB.NET, F#, Boo, Nemerle)
• on-demand compilation or precompiled views

Cons:

• usage is confused by existence of "classic ASP.NET" patterns which no longer apply in MVC (e.g. ViewState PostBack)
• can contribute to anti-pattern of "tag soup"
• code-block syntax and strong-typing can get in the way

• can be noisy when designing simple templates

• Creates a slightly different problem from "tag soup" referenced above. Where the server tags actually provide structure around server and non-server code, Razor confuses HTML and server code, making pure HTML or JS development challenging (see Con Example #1) as you end up having to "escape" HTML and / or JavaScript tags under certain very common conditions.
• Poor encapsulation+reuseability: It's impractical to call a razor template as if it were a normal method - in practice razor can call code but not vice versa, which can encourage mixing of code and presentation.
• Syntax is very html-oriented; generating non-html content can be tricky. Despite this, razor's data model is essentially just string-concatenation, so syntax and nesting errors are neither statically nor dynamically detected, though VS.NET design-time help mitigates this somewhat. Maintainability and refactorability can suffer due to this.

• simplistic template syntax can interfere with intended output (e.g. jQuery conflict)

Wing Beats

Wing Beats is an internal DSL for creating XHTML. It is based on F# and includes an ASP.NET MVC view engine, but can also be used solely for its capability of creating XHTML.

Pros:

• Compile-time checking of valid XML
• Syntax colouring
• Full intellisense
• Compiled views
• Extensibility using regular CLR classes, functions, etc
• Seamless composability and manipulation since it's regular F# code
• Unit testable

Cons:

• You don't really write HTML but code that represents HTML in a DSL.

XsltViewEngine (MvcContrib)

Design Goals:

Builds views from familiar XSLT

Pros:

• widely ubiquitous
• familiar template language for XML developers
• XML-based
• time-tested
• Syntax and element nesting errors can be statically detected.

Cons:

• functional language style makes flow control difficult
• XSLT 2.0 is (probably?) not supported. (XSLT 1.0 is much less practical).

I have seen that happening several times, with broken links (symlinks that point to files that do not exist), grep tries to search on the target file, which does not exist (hence the correct and accurate error message).

I normally don't bother while doing sysadmin tasks over the console, but from within scripts I do look for text files with "find", and then grep each one:

Instead of:

If you instead had a data.frame (df) that had multiple columns and you want to vectorize you can do

I think what you want is mapply. You could apply the function to all columns, and then just drop the columns you don't want. However, if you are applying different functions to different columns, it seems likely what you want is mutate, from the dplyr package.

There's a plugin for jQuery to get GET params called .getUrlParams

For POST the only solution is echoing the POST into a javascript variable using PHP, like Moran suggested.

This style looks readable and transparent. It leads to the creation of utilities which reduces repetition in code.

This also tends to use intermediate strings automatically.

For multiple times of execution of our model, random state make sure that data values will be same for training and testing data sets. It fixes the order of data for train_test_split

I typically use function attributes as storage for annotations. Suppose I want to write, in the style of C# (indicating that a certain method should be part of the web service interface)

Then, when a webservice call arrives, I look up the method, check whether the underlying function has the is_webmethod attribute (the actual value is irrelevant), and refuse the service if the method is absent or not meant to be called over the web.

htmlspecialchars may be used:

1. When there is no need to encode all characters which have their HTML equivalents.

   If you know that the page encoding match the text special symbols, why would you use htmlentities? htmlspecialchars is much straightforward, and produce less code to send to the client.

   For example:

Yes, they are different. I did a quick manual check and they appear to be in the ratio of ~ (14/5) for geom_text sizes to theme sizes.

Because you can't access the Date object direcly in a template (for an inline solution), I opteted for this Directive. It also keeps your Controllers clean and is reusable.

Here are some branch naming conventions that I use and the reasons for them

Branch naming conventions

1. Use grouping tokens (words) at the beginning of your branch names.
2. Define and use short lead tokens to differentiate branches in a way that is meaningful to your workflow.
3. Use slashes to separate parts of your branch names.
4. Do not use bare numbers as leading parts.
5. Avoid long descriptive names for long-lived branches.

Group tokens

Use "grouping" tokens in front of your branch names.

group1/foo
group2/foo
group1/bar
group2/bar
group3/bar
group1/baz

The groups can be named whatever you like to match your workflow. I like to use short nouns for mine. Read on for more clarity.

Short well-defined tokens

Choose short tokens so they do not add too much noise to every one of your branch names. I use these:

wip       Works in progress; stuff I know won't be finished soon
feat      Feature I'm adding or expanding
bug       Bug fix or experiment
junk      Throwaway branch created to experiment

Each of these tokens can be used to tell you to which part of your workflow each branch belongs.

It sounds like you have multiple branches for different cycles of a change. I do not know what your cycles are, but let's assume they are 'new', 'testing' and 'verified'. You can name your branches with abbreviated versions of these tags, always spelled the same way, to both group them and to remind you which stage you're in.

You can quickly tell which branches have reached each different stage, and you can group them together easily using Git's pattern matching options.

Use slashes to separate parts

You may use most any delimiter you like in branch names, but I find slashes to be the most flexible. You might prefer to use dashes or dots. But slashes let you do some branch renaming when pushing or fetching to/from a remote.

$ git push origin 'refs/heads/bug/*:refs/heads/review/bugfix/*'

For me, slashes also work better for tab expansion (command completion) in my shell. The way I have it configured I can search for branches with different sub-parts by typing the first characters of the part and pressing the TAB key. Zsh then gives me a list of branches which match the part of the token I have typed. This works for preceding tokens as well as embedded ones.

(Zshell is very configurable about command completion and I could also configure it to handle dashes, underscores or dots the same way. But I choose not to.)

It also lets you search for branches in many git commands, like this:

Caveat: As Slipp points out in the comments, slashes can cause problems. Because branches are implemented as paths, you cannot have a branch named "foo" and another branch named "foo/bar". This can be confusing for new users.

Do not use bare numbers

Do not use use bare numbers (or hex numbers) as part of your branch naming scheme. Inside tab-expansion of a reference name, git may decide that a number is part of a sha-1 instead of a branch name. For example, my issue tracker names bugs with decimal numbers. I name my related branches CRnnnnn rather than just nnnnn to avoid confusion.

If I tried to expand just 15032, git would be unsure whether I wanted to search SHA-1's or branch names, and my choices would be somewhat limited.

Avoid long descriptive names

Long branch names can be very helpful when you are looking at a list of branches. But it can get in the way when looking at decorated one-line logs as the branch names can eat up most of the single line and abbreviate the visible part of the log.

On the other hand long branch names can be more helpful in "merge commits" if you do not habitually rewrite them by hand. The default merge commit message is Merge branch 'branch-name'. You may find it more helpful to have merge messages show up as Merge branch 'fix/CR15032/crash-when-unformatted-disk-inserted' instead of just Merge branch 'fix/CR15032'.

I realized that I was iterating over a list of lists where some of them were empty. I fixed this by adding this preprocessing step:

tfidfLsNew = [x for x in tfidfLs if x != []]

the len() of the original was 3105, and the len() of the latter was 3101, implying that four of my lists were completely empty. After this preprocess my max() min() etc. were functioning again.

In my case I needed to install "JST Server Adapters". I am running Eclipse 3.6 Helios RCP Edition.

Here are the steps I followed:

1. Help -> Install New Software
2. Choose "Helios - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios" site or kepler - http://download.ecliplse.org/releases/kepler
3. Expand "Web, XML, and Java EE Development"
4. Check JST Server Adapters (version 3.2.2)

After that I could define new Server Runtime Environments.

EDIT: With Eclipse 3.7 Indigo Classic, Eclipse Kepler and Luna, the steps are the same (with appropriate update site) but you need both JST Server Adapters and JST Server Adapters Extentions to get the Server Runtime Environment options.

Perhaps the project's type table is in an incorrect state. I would try to remove/add the reference and if that didn't work, create another project, import my code, and see if that works.

I ran into this while using VS 2005, one would expect MS to have fixed that particular problem by now though..

I advise you to run sftp with -v option. It becomes much easier to fathom what is happening.

The manual clearly states:

The final usage format allows for automated sessions using the -b option. In such cases, it is necessary to configure non-interactive authentication to obviate the need to enter a password at connection time (see sshd(8) and ssh-keygen(1) for details).

In other words you have to establish a publickey authentication. Then you'll be able to run a batch script.

Graham Hutton's Programming in Haskell is concise, reasonably thorough, and his years of teaching Haskell really show. It's almost always what I recommend people start with, regardless of where you go from there.

In particular, Chapter 8 ("Functional Parsers") provides the real groundwork you need to start dealing with monads, and I think is by far the best place to start, followed by All About Monads. (With regard to that chapter, though, do note the errata from the web site, however: you can't use the do form without some special help. You might want to learn about typeclasses first and solve that problem on your own.)

This is rarely emphasized to Haskell beginners, but it's worth learning fairly early on not just about using monads, but about constructing your own. It's not hard, and customized ones can make a number of tasks rather more simple.

You have configured the auth.php and used members table for authentication but there is no user_email field in the members table so, Laravel says

SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'user_email' in 'where clause' (SQL: select * from members where user_email = ? limit 1) (Bindings: array ( 0 => '[email protected]', ))

Because, it tries to match the user_email in the members table and it's not there. According to your auth configuration, laravel is using members table for authentication not users table.

Remove the () from your expressions that are not working will get the desired results you need.

In case you have inadvertently set and forgot the root password, and you don't want to wipe all your databases and start over because you are lazy and forgot to have a back up solution in place, and you are using a fairly recent Homebrew install (Winter 2013), here are steps to reset your password for MySQL.

Stop the currently running MySQL instance

launchctl unload -w ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.mysql.plist

Now start mysql by hand skipping the grant tables and networking

$(brew --prefix mysql)/bin/mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables --skip-networking

Note that if when you run echo $(brew --prefix mysql) and it does not respond as "/usr/local/opt/mysql" in bash, you will need to adjust the path accordingly.

Once you have done this, you now should have a running, unprotected MySQL instance up.

Log in and set the password

mysql -u root

At the prompt, enter the following MySQL command to set a new password for the effected user.

• 301: permanent redirect: the URL is old and should be replaced. Browsers will cache this.

• 308: permanent redirect, repeating the request identically. Where 307 is the "no method change" counterpart of 303, this 308 status is the "no method change" counterpart of 301.

RFC 7231 (from 2014) is very readable and not overly verbose. If you want to know the exact answer, it's a recommended read. Some other answers use RFC 2616 from 1999, but nothing changed.

RFC 7238 specifies the 308 status. It is considered experimental, but it was already supported by all major browsers in 2016.

First, Python is only indirectly influenced by C; it is heavily influenced by ABC, which apparently does not have these operators, so it should not be any great surprise not to find them in Python either.

Secondly, as others have said, increment and decrement are supported by += and -= already.

Third, full support for a ++ and -- operator set usually includes supporting both the prefix and postfix versions of them. In C and C++, this can lead to all kinds of "lovely" constructs that seem (to me) to be against the spirit of simplicity and straight-forwardness that Python embraces.

For example, while the C statement while(*t++ = *s++); may seem simple and elegant to an experienced programmer, to someone learning it, it is anything but simple. Throw in a mixture of prefix and postfix increments and decrements, and even many pros will have to stop and think a bit.

Eclipse natively supports FTP and SSH. Aptana is not necessary.

Native FTP and SSH support in Eclipse is in the "Remote System Explorer End-User Runtime" Plugin.

Install it through Eclipse itself. These instructions may vary slightly with your version of Eclipse:

1. Go to 'Help' -> 'Install New Software' (in older Eclipses, this is called something a bit different)

I just had to face a similar problem, looking at the log i've found:

Here the status is 403 and substatus is 4, this table https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/943891/the-http-status-code-in-iis-7-0-iis-7-5-and-iis-8-0 provided the knowledge to fix the problem! 403.4 is in fact SSL Required, once i've changed the project URL in Visual Studio from http to https (Project properties -> Web -> Server -> Project URL) the problem disappeared.

I've described my fix only to clarify the steps involved in fixing the issue, read all the answer and not just from "once i've changed the project URL..." and follow your logs!

Comments:

First, the <mvc:annotation-driven /> or the @EnableWebMvc must be added to your application config.

Next, the produces attribute of the @RequestMapping annotation is used to specify the content type of the response. Consequently, it should be set to MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE (or "application/json").

Lastly, Jackson must be added so that any serialization and de-serialization between Java and JSON will be handled automatically by Spring (the Jackson dependency is detected by Spring and the MappingJacksonHttpMessageConverter will be under the hood).

Another approach is to use android.intent.action.USER_PRESENT instead of android.intent.action.BOOT_COMPLETED to avoid slow downs during the boot process. But this is only true if the user has enabled the lock Screen - otherwise this intent is never broadcasted.

The easiest way to tweak this in my opinion (imho) is to edit the .git/config file in your repository. Look for the entry you messed up and just tweak the URL.

The line you see commented out is an alternative address for the repository that I sometimes switch to simply by changing which line is commented out.

This is the file that is getting manipulated under-the-hood when you run something like git remote rm or git remote add but in this case since its only a typo you made it might make sense to correct it this way.

A typical situation where you encounter strict aliasing problems is when overlaying a struct (like a device/network msg) onto a buffer of the word size of your system (like a pointer to uint32_ts or uint16_ts). When you overlay a struct onto such a buffer, or a buffer onto such a struct through pointer casting you can easily violate strict aliasing rules.

So in this kind of setup, if I want to send a message to something I'd have to have two incompatible pointers pointing to the same chunk of memory. I might then naively code something like this:

The strict aliasing rule makes this setup illegal: dereferencing a pointer that aliases an object that is not of a compatible type or one of the other types allowed by C 2011 6.5 paragraph 7¹ is undefined behavior. Unfortunately, you can still code this way, maybe get some warnings, have it compile fine, only to have weird unexpected behavior when you run the code.

(GCC appears somewhat inconsistent in its ability to give aliasing warnings, sometimes giving us a friendly warning and sometimes not.)

To see why this behavior is undefined, we have to think about what the strict aliasing rule buys the compiler. Basically, with this rule, it doesn't have to think about inserting instructions to refresh the contents of buff every run of the loop. Instead, when optimizing, with some annoyingly unenforced assumptions about aliasing, it can omit those instructions, load buff[0] and buff[1] into CPU registers once before the loop is run, and speed up the body of the loop. Before strict aliasing was introduced, the compiler had to live in a state of paranoia that the contents of buff could change by any preceding memory stores. So to get an extra performance edge, and assuming most people don't type-pun pointers, the strict aliasing rule was introduced.

Keep in mind, if you think the example is contrived, this might even happen if you're passing a buffer to another function doing the sending for you, if instead you have.

The compiler may or may not be able to or smart enough to try to inline SendMessage and it may or may not decide to load or not load buff again. If SendMessage is part of another API that's compiled separately, it probably has instructions to load buff's contents. Then again, maybe you're in C++ and this is some templated header only implementation that the compiler thinks it can inline. Or maybe it's just something you wrote in your .c file for your own convenience. Anyway undefined behavior might still ensue. Even when we know some of what's happening under the hood, it's still a violation of the rule so no well defined behavior is guaranteed. So just by wrapping in a function that takes our word delimited buffer doesn't necessarily help.

So how do I get around this?

• Use a union. Most compilers support this without complaining about strict aliasing. This is allowed in C99 and explicitly allowed in C11.

• You can disable strict aliasing in your compiler (f[no-]strict-aliasing in gcc))

• You can use char* for aliasing instead of your system's word. The rules allow an exception for char* (including signed char and unsigned char). It's always assumed that char* aliases other types. However this won't work the other way: there's no assumption that your struct aliases a buffer of chars.

Beginner beware

This is only one potential minefield when overlaying two types onto each other. You should also learn about endianness, word alignment, and how to deal with alignment issues through packing structs correctly.

First of all you have to include your font in your website (or your CSS, to be more specific) using an appropriate @font-face rule.
From here on there are multiple ways to proceed. One thing I would not do is to edit the bootstrap.css directly - since once you get a newer version your changes will be lost. You do however have the possibility to customize your bootstrap files (there's a customize page on their website). Just enter the name of your font with all the fallback names into the corresponding typography textbox. Of course you will have to do this whenever you get a new or updated version of your bootstrap files.
Another chance you have is to overwrite the bootstrap rules within a different stylesheet. If you do this you just have to use selectors that are as specific as (or more specific than) the bootstrap selectors.
Side note: If you care about browser support a single EOT version of your font might not be sufficient. See http://caniuse.com/eot for a support table.

• socket.getInputStream().read()
  • makes the thread wait for input as long as the client is connected and therefore makes your program not do anything - except if you get some input
  • returns -1 if the client disconnected
• socket.getInetAddress().isReachable(int timeout): From isReachable(int timeout)

  Test whether that address is reachable. Best effort is made by the implementation to try to reach the host, but firewalls and server configuration may block requests resulting in a unreachable status while some specific ports may be accessible. A typical implementation will use ICMP ECHO REQUESTs if the privilege can be obtained, otherwise it will try to establish a TCP connection on port 7 (Echo) of the destination host.

To upgrade the local version I used a slight variant:

Had the problem after I installed mysql workbench and mysql community server. Got generated password during the server installation. Double clicking on the exisiting local instance in workbench triggered a dialog where I could set the new password.

I use a function for this (if the workbook already has VBA).

According to this JSPerf test, they differ in speed. But unless you're going to use them in huge amounts, any of them should perform fine.

The easiest way to animate Visibility changes is use Transition API which available in support (androidx) package. Just call TransitionManager.beginDelayedTransition method then change visibility of the view. There are several default transitions like Fade, Slide.

One method is to add a new event listener that calls e.stopImmediatePropagation().

If you have SQL Server installed there is also a menu option for finding local SSIS packages.

In the Start menu > All Programs > 'Microsoft Sql Server' there should be a menu option for 'Integration Services' > 'Execute Package Utility' (this is available if SSIS was included in your SQLserver installation).

The point is that batch simply continues through instructions, line by line until it reaches a goto, exit or end-of-file. It has no concept of sections to control flow.

Hence, entering de would jump to :languagede then simply continue executing instructions until the file ends, showing de then en then not found.

After looking at all the suggestions here, I've discovered a few things which I hope will be useful to others in my position:

1. hop is right to point me back at /etc/init.d/functions: the daemon function already allows you to set an alternate user:

   daemon --user=my_user my_cmd &>/dev/null &
   

   This is implemented by wrapping the process invocation with runuser - more on this later.

2. Jonathan Leffler is right: there is setuid in Python:

   I still don't think you can setuid from inside a JVM, however.

3. Neither su nor runuser gracefully handle the case where you ask to run a command as the user you already are. E.g.:

You can give this a try. I am quite new to the forum but wanted to offer something that worked for me since I've gotten so much help from this site in the past. This is essentially a variation of the above, but I found it simpler.

Just paste this into the Userform_Initialize section of your userform code. Note you must already have a listbox on the userform or have it created dynamically above this code. Also please note the Array is a list of headings (below as "Header1", "Header2" etc. Replace these with your own headings. This code will then set up a heading bar at the top based on the column widths of the list box. Sorry it doesn't scroll - it's fixed labels.

I had a large enumerated type I wanted to convert it into an NSDictionary lookup. I ended up using sed from OSX terminal as:

Note: I found the sed regex expression on OSX odd - when I tried to use + to match 'one or more' it didn't work and had to resort to using {1,} as a replacement

In 2017, what is working for me is simply this one line

I have no idea why that would even affect it. Perhaps someone could explain. But I'm pretty sure this is the answer most people would look for.

Shiboe's solution would be a good one if it worked on mobile webkit, but it doesn't. What I can come up with is to add a mousemove event listener to some dom object at the time that the file input window is opened, like so:

The mousemove event is blocked from the page while the file dialog is open, and when its closed one checks to see if there are any files in the file input. In my case I want an activity indicator blocking things till the file is uploaded, so I only want to remove my indicator on cancel.

However this doesn't solve for mobile, since there is no mouse to move. My solution there is less than perfect, but I think its good enough.

Now we're listening for a touch on the screen to do the same files check. I'm pretty confident that the user's finger will be put on the screen pretty quickly after cancel and dismiss this activity indicator.

One could also just add the activity indicator on the file input change event, but on mobile there is often a few seconds lag between selecting the image and the change event firing, so its just much better UX for the activity indicator to be displayed at the start of the process.

I like the urllib.urlencode function, and it doesn't appear to exist in urllib2.

PDFBox is the best library I've found for this purpose, it's comprehensive and really quite easy to use if you're just doing basic text extraction. Examples can be found here.

It explains it on the page, but one thing to watch out for is that the start and end indexes when using setStartPage() and setEndPage() are both inclusive. I skipped over that explanation first time round and then it took me a while to realise why I was getting more than one page back with each call!

Itext is another alternative that also works with C#, though I've personally never used it. It's more low level than PDFBox, so less suited to the job if all you need is basic text extraction.

It's also used in regular expressions, meaning "at most one repetition of the preceding character"

for example the regular expression /hey?/ matches with the strings "he" and "hey".

For anyone that has found this post through numerous googling, I found a way to not only find specific files given a time range, but also NOT include the relative paths OR whitespaces that would cause tarring errors. (THANK YOU SO MUCH STEVE.)

2. -name "*.pdf" look for pdfs (or any file type)

3. -type f type to look for is a file

4. -mtime 0 look for files created in last 24 hours

5. -printf "%f\0" Regular -print0 OR -printf "%f" did NOT work for me. From man pages:

This quoting is performed in the same way as for GNU ls. This is not the same quoting mechanism as the one used for -ls and -fls. If you are able to decide what format to use for the output of find then it is normally better to use '\0' as a terminator than to use newline, as file names can contain white space and newline characters.

6. -czvf create archive, filter the archive through gzip , verbosely list files processed, archive name

Edit 2019-08-14: I would like to add, that I was also able to use essentially use the same command in my comment, just using tar itself:

This is an old thread, but I ran into java.net.SocketException: Connection reset yesterday.

The server-side application had its throttling settings changed to allow only 1 connection at a time! Thus, sometimes calls went through and sometimes not. I solved the problem by changing the throttling settings.

just change your ImageView height and width to wrap_content and use

in your code.

• START_STICKY: It will restart the service in case if it terminated and the Intent data which is passed to the onStartCommand() method is NULL. This is suitable for the service which are not executing commands but running independently and waiting for the job.
• START_NOT_STICKY: It will not restart the service and it is useful for the services which will run periodically. The service will restart only when there are a pending startService() calls. It’s the best option to avoid running a service in case if it is not necessary.
• START_REDELIVER_INTENT: It’s same as STAR_STICKY and it recreates the service, call onStartCommand() with last intent that was delivered to the service.

How I got it to work:

As in jmbertucci's recently updated answer, make your folder public to everyone. This is a bit more complicated than before, you have to click Advanced to change the folder to "On - Public on the web."

Find your folder UUID as before--just go into the folder and find your UUID in the address bar:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/<folder UUID>

Then head to

https://googledrive.com/host/<folder UUID>

It will redirect you to an index type page with a giant subdomain, but you should be able to see the files in your folder. Then you can right click to save the link to the file you want (I noticed that this direct link also has this big subdomain for googledrive.com). Worked great for me with wget.

This also seems to work with others' shared folders.

As you can see in the generated SQL statements the difference is not the "OR" as some may suspect. It is how the WHERE and JOIN is placed.

This might have changed since the original answer was written, but it looks like you can now use the Models populate function to do this without having to execute an extra findOne. See: http://mongoosejs.com/docs/api.html#model_Model.populate. You'd want to use this inside the save handler just like the findOne is.

If you're using Blend, to make it extra easy and not have any trouble getting the correct path for the Source attribute, just drag and drop the image from the Project panel onto the designer.

Well, if you want to do it using an algorithm. There are a plethora of sorting algorithms out there. If you aren't concerned too much about efficiency and more about readability and understandability. I recommend Insertion Sort. Here is the psudo code, it is trivial to translate this into java.

You can concatenate strings by using the sprintf() function. In your case, for example:

Specifying tests / selecting tests

Pytest supports several ways to run and select tests from the command-line.

Run tests in a module

pytest test_mod.py

Run tests in a directory

pytest testing/

Run tests by keyword expressions

pytest -k "MyClass and not method"

This will run tests which contain names that match the given string expression, which can include Python operators that use filenames, class names and function names as variables. The example above will run TestMyClass.test_something but not TestMyClass.test_method_simple.

Run tests by node ids

Each collected test is assigned a unique nodeid which consist of the module filename followed by specifiers like class names, function names and parameters from parametrization, separated by :: characters.

To run a specific test within a module:

pytest test_mod.py::test_func

Another example specifying a test method in the command line:

pytest test_mod.py::TestClass::test_method

Run tests by marker expressions

pytest -m slow

Will run all tests which are decorated with the @pytest.mark.slow decorator.

This will import pkg.testing and use its filesystem location to find and run tests from.
