The problem with show-sql
is that the SQL statements are printed in the console, so there is no way to filter them, as you'd normally do with a Logging framework.
In your log configuration file, if you add the following logger:

is created. That's why the statement will be logged using parameter placeholders:

They are called ifdef or include guards.
If writing a small program it might seems that it is not needed, but as the project grows you could intentionally or unintentionally include one file many times, which can result in compilation warning like variable already declared.
#ifndef checks whether HEADERFILE_H is not declared.
#define will declare HEADERFILE_H once #ifndef generates true.
#endif is to know the scope of #ifndef i.e end of #ifndef
If it is not declared which means #ifndef generates true then only the part between #ifndef and #endif executed otherwise not. This will prevent from again declaring the identifiers, enums, structure, etc...

Yes, you can do this quite easily. This is for searching a number in a list of a million numbers. The x-axis is for the location of the searched element: 0% means it's at the start of the list, 100% means it's at the end of the list. All solutions are fastest at location 100%, with the two reversed
solutions taking pretty much no time for that, the double-reverse solution taking a little time, and the reverse-copy taking a lot of time.
A closer look at the right end:
At location 100%, the reverse-copy solution and the double-reverse solution spend all their time on the reversals (index()
is instant), so we see that the two in-place reversals are about seven times as fast as creating the reverse copy.
The above was with lst = list(range(1_000_000, 2_000_001))
, which pretty much creates the int objects sequentially in memory, which is extremely cache-friendly. Let's do it again after shuffling the list with random.shuffle(lst)

You end up with both modified
in the output of git status
if there were conflicts produced by a merge. git isn't letting you change branch until you've resolved these conflicts. If you edit that file, you should see some conflict markers in it - there's a guide to resolving those conflicts in the git manual. (Since kernel.org is currently down, you can find that guide here instead.)
Alternatively, if you think the merge was a mistake, you could undo it with: git reset --merge

Sometimes it's more useful to increase the size of the backlog (acceptCount) instead of the maximum number of threads.

Assuming your products LINQ class uses a similar yield for enumerating/iterating, the first version is more efficient because its only yielding one value each time its iterated over.
The second example is converting the enumerator/iterator to a list with the ToList() method. This means it manually iterates over all the items in the enumerator and then returns a flat list.

I've had real trouble understanding this. gorkypl gave the correct solution above when I last re-installed my OS & Rstudio but this time round, setting my environment variable didn't resolve.
Uninstallled both R and Rstudio, creating directories C:\R and C:\Rstudio then reinstalled both.
Define R_LIBS_USER user variable to your prefered directory (as per gorkypl's answer) and restart your machine for User variable to be loaded. Open Rstudio, errors should be gone.
You can also use Sys.setenv()
to modify R_LIBS_USER to the path of your alternative library which is easier and does not need to restart your computer.

Very old question, but I tried everything suggested above and still could not get it resolved.
Turns out that, I had after insert/update trigger for the main table which tracked the changes by inserting the record in history table having similar structure. I increased the size in the main table column but forgot to change the size of history table column and that created the problem.
I did similar changes in the other table and error is gone.

I had the exact same error, and like you, installing zlib1g-dev did not fix it. Installing lib32z1-dev got me past it. I have a 64 bit system and it seems like it wanted the 32 bit library.

There used to be a @config tag which immediately followed the corresponding @param, but it appears to have been deprecated (example here).
Please keep in mind that only a few elements can be self-closing, most others have to be closed through adding an explicit end tag. In the above case, the first script tag was not closed properly, the end script tag of the second script then closed the script section, causing only the first script to be loaded as external script source and ignoring the second script.

For Python 3.2+ simple-date is a wrapper around pytz that tries to simplify things.
If you have a time
then
SimpleDate(time).convert(tz="...")
may do what you want. But timezones are quite complex things, so it can get significantly more complicated - see the the docs.

You can't create an instance of IEnumerable<T>
since it's a normal interface(It's sometimes possible to specify a default implementation, but that's usually used only with COM).
So what you really want is instantiate a class that implements the interface IEnumerable<T>
. The behavior varies depending on which class you choose.
For an empty sequence use:
IEnumerable<object> e0=Enumerable.Empty<object>();
For an non empty enumerable you can use some collection that implements IEnumerable<T>
. Common choices are the array T[]

Its because that defeats the purpose of property binding. It is more meaningful to use that for setting the properties. {{}} is a normal string interpolation expression, that does not reveal to anyone reading the code that it makes special meaning. I use SimplePie to parse a Google Reader feed and it works pretty well and has a decent feature set.
Of course, I haven't tested it with non-well-formed RSS / Atom feeds so I don't know how it copes with those, I'm assuming Google's are fairly standards compliant! :)

You should not try to use perfmon, task manager or any tool like that to determine memory leaks. They are good for identifying trends, but not much else. The numbers they report in absolute terms are too vague and aggregated to be useful for a specific task such as memory leak detection.

To summarise, Javascript primitive types are always passed by value, whereas the values inside objects are passed by reference (thanks to commenters for pointing out my oversight). So to get round this, you have to put your integer inside an object:

The currently-accepted answer to this question is wrong. C11 6.9.2/2:
If a translation unit contains one or more tentative definitions for an identifier, and the translation unit contains no external definition for that identifier, then the behavior is exactly as if the translation unit contains a file scope declaration of that identifier, with the composite type as of the end of the translation unit, with an initializer equal to 0.
So the original code in the question behaves as if file1.c
and file2.c
each contained the line int i = 0;
at the end, which causes undefined behaviour due to multiple external definitions (6.9/5).
Since this is a Semantic rule and not a Constraint, no diagnostic is required.
Here are two more questions about the same code with correct answers:
It could be quotes themselves that are the entire problem. I had a similar problem and it was due to quotes around the column name in the CREATE TABLE statement. Note there were no whitespace issues, just quotes causing problems.
The column looked like it was called anID
but was really called "anID"
. The quotes don't appear in typical queries so it was hard to detect (for this postgres rookie). This is on postgres 9.4.1
Some more detail:
Doing postgres=# SELECT * FROM test;

You have two errors in your code:
load()
puts the HTML returned from the Ajax into the specified element:
Load data from the server and place the returned HTML into the matched element.
You cannot set the value of a textbox with that method.
$(selector).load()
returns the a jQuery object. By default an object is converted to [object Object]
when treated as string.
Further clarification:

Deprecation
glOrtho
is deprecated as of OpenGL 4.5: the compatibility profile 12.1. "FIXED-FUNCTION VERTEX TRANSFORMATIONS" is in red.
So don't use it for production. In any case, understanding it is a good way to get some OpenGL insight.
Modern OpenGL 4 programs calculate the transformation matrix (which is small) on the CPU, and then give the matrix and all points to be transformed to OpenGL, which can do the thousands of matrix multiplications for different points really fast in parallel.
Manually written vertex shaders then do the multiplication explicitly, usually with the convenient vector data types of the OpenGL Shading Language.
Since you write the shader explicitly, this allows you to tweak the algorithm to your needs. Such flexibility is a major feature of more modern GPUs, which unlike the old ones that did a fixed algorithm with some input parameters, can now do arbitrary computations. is really simple, composed only of scaling and translation:

It's actually very hard to implement GetHashCode()
correctly because, in addition to the rules Marc already mentioned, the hash code should not change during the lifetime of an object. Therefore the fields which are used to calculate the hash code must be immutable.
I finally found a solution to this problem when I was working with NHibernate. My approach is to calculate the hash code from the ID of the object. The ID can only be set though the constructor so if you want to change the ID, which is very unlikely, you have to create a new object which has a new ID and therefore a new hash code. This approach works best with GUIDs because you can provide a parameterless constructor which randomly generates an ID.

Checking the Internet connection availability in (iOS) Xcode 8 , Swift 3.0
This is simple method for checking the network availability like our device is connected to any network or not. I have managed to translate it to Swift 3.0 and here the final code. The existing Apple Reachability class and other third party libraries seemed to be too complicated to translate to Swift.
This works for both 3G,4G and WiFi connections.

I've just gone through this process, and there's a lot of very good help and information in this Q/A, but I found I had to pull together various elements (plus some from other Q/As) to get a working solution in order to successfully migrate.
However, even after combining the existing answers, I found that the Python script did not fully work for me as it did not work where there were multiple boolean occurrences in an INSERT. See here why that was the case.
So, I thought I'd post up my merged answer here. Credit goes to those that have contributed elsewhere, of course. But I wanted to give something back, and save others time that follow.
I'll post the script below. But firstly, here's the instructions for a conversion...
I ran the script on OS X 10.7.5 Lion. Python worked out of the box.
To generate the MySQL input file from your existing SQLite3 database, run the script on your own files as follows,

I then copied the resulting dumped_sql.sql file over to a Linux box running Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS where my MySQL database was to reside.
Another issue I had when importing the MySQL file was that some unicode UTF-8 characters (specifically single quotes) were not being imported correctly, so I had to add a switch to the command to specify UTF-8.
The resulting command to input the data into a spanking new empty MySQL database is as follows:

Let it cook, and that should be it! Don't forget to scrutinise your data, before and after.

As an aside, one thing I wasn't sure about before I looked into this migration, was whether created_at and updated_at field values would be preserved - the good news for me is that they are, so I could migrate my existing production data.

UPDATE
Since making this switch, I've noticed a problem that I hadn't noticed before. In my Rails application, my text fields are defined as 'string', and this carries through to the database schema. The process outlined here results in these being defined as VARCHAR(255) in the MySQL database. This places a 255 character limit on these field sizes - and anything beyond this was silently truncated during the import. To support text length greater than 255, the MySQL schema would need to use 'TEXT' rather than VARCHAR(255), I believe. The process defined here does not include this conversion.

This thread helped me create my own solution that I will share here. I was using a GET ajax request at first without issues but it got to a point where the request URL length was exceeded so I had to swith to a POST.

Here is an updated version of Bryan's query for 2008 and later. It uses INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS, adds variables for the table schema and table name. The column data type was added to the output. Including the column data type helps when looking for a column of a particular data type. I didn't added the column widths or anything.
For output the RAISERROR ... WITH NOWAIT is used so text will display immediately instead of all at once (for the most part) at the end like PRINT does.

Using Socket.IO is basically like using jQuery - you want to support older browsers, you need to write less code and the library will provide with fallbacks. Socket.io uses the websockets technology if available, and if not, checks the best communication type available and uses it.

Well, I got a similar problem with large data set and trying to force the application to use so much data is not really the right option. The best tip I can give you is to process your data in small chunk if it is possible. Because dealing with so much data, the problem will come back sooner or later. Plus, you cannot know the configuration of each machine that will run your application so there's always a risk that the exception will happens on another pc.
