To resolve this error:

ORA-01653 unable to extend table by 1024 in tablespace your-tablespace-name

Just run this PL/SQL command for extended tablespace size automatically on-demand:

alter database datafile '<your-tablespace-name>.dbf' autoextend on maxsize unlimited;

I get this error in import big dump file, just run this command without stopping import routine or restarting the database.

Note: each data file has a limit of 32GB of size if you need more than 32GB you should add a new data file to your existing tablespace.

I couldn't get the first method to work, and I know this is an old topic, but this is what I ended up doing for a solution:

When you call loc with a scalar value, you get a pd.Series. That series will then have one dtype. If you want to see the row as it is in the dataframe, you'll want to pass an array like indexer to loc.

Wrap your index value with an additional pair of square brackets

No self-prespecting SQL driver will tell you how many rows your query will return before returning the rows, because the answer might change (unless you use a Transaction, which creates problems of its own.)

The number of rows won't change - google for ACID and SQL.

It that code is on the client then you have many trips to the server so to eliminate that.

Bandwidth is tiered by instance size, here's a comprehensive answer:

For t2/m3/c3/c4/r3/i2/d2 instances:

• t2.nano = ??? (Based on the scaling factors, I'd expect 20-30 MBit/s)
• t2.micro = ~70 MBit/s (qiita says 63 MBit/s) - t1.micro gets about ~100 Mbit/s
• t2.small = ~125 MBit/s (t2, qiita says 127 MBit/s, cloudharmony says 125 Mbit/s with spikes to 200+ Mbit/s)
• *.medium = t2.medium gets 250-300 MBit/s, m3.medium ~400 MBit/s
• *.large = ~450-600 MBit/s (the most variation, see below)
• *.xlarge = 700-900 MBit/s
• *.2xlarge = ~1 GBit/s +- 10%
• *.4xlarge = ~2 GBit/s +- 10%
• *.8xlarge and marked specialty = 10 Gbit, expect ~8.5 GBit/s, requires enhanced networking & VPC for full throughput

m1 small, medium, and large instances tend to perform higher than expected. c1.medium is another freak, at 800 MBit/s.

I gathered this by combing dozens of sources doing benchmarks (primarily using iPerf & TCP connections). Credit to CloudHarmony & flux7 in particular for many of the benchmarks (note that those two links go to google searches showing the numerous individual benchmarks).

Caveats & Notes:

The large instance size has the most variation reported:

• m1.large is ~800 Mbit/s (!!!)
• t2.large = ~500 MBit/s
• c3.large = ~500-570 Mbit/s (different results from different sources)
• c4.large = ~520 MBit/s (I've confirmed this independently, by the way)
• m3.large is better at ~700 MBit/s
• m4.large is ~445 Mbit/s
• r3.large is ~390 Mbit/s

Burstable (T2) instances appear to exhibit burstable networking performance too:

• The CloudHarmony iperf benchmarks show initial transfers start at 1 GBit/s and then gradually drop to the sustained levels above after a few minutes. PDF links to reports below:

Note that these are within the same region - if you're transferring across regions, real performance may be much slower. Even for the larger instances, I'm seeing numbers of a few hundred MBit/s.

In case someone is still looking for a nice switch/toggle button, I followed Rick's suggestion and created a simple angular directive around it, angular-switch. Besides preferring a Windows styled switch, the total download is also much smaller (2kb vs 23kb minified css+js) compared to angular-bootstrap-switch and bootstrap-switch mentioned above together.

Short answer:

We can't live without onStart because that is the state when the activity becomes "visible" to the user, but the user cant "interact" with it yet may be cause it's overlapped with some other small dialog. This ability to interact with the user is the one that differentiates onStart and onResume. Think of it as a person behind a glass door. You can see the person but you can't interact (talk/listen/shake hands) with him. OnResume is like the door opener after which you can begin the interaction.

Additionally onRestart() is the least understood one. We can ask the question as to why not directly go to onStart() or onResume() after onStop() instead of onRestart(). It becomes easier to understand if we note that onRestart() is partially equivalent to onCreate() if the creation part is omitted. Basically both states lead to onStart() (i.e the Activity becomes visible). So both the states have to "prepare" the stuff to be displayed. OnCreate has the additional responsibility to "create" the stuff to be displayed

So their code structures might fit to something like:

The error suggests that the application you are trying to run cannot instantiate an instance of apache tomcat. Make sure you are running the application with tomcat.

Get comfortable with zip. It comes in handy when dealing with column data.

SHTML is a file extension that lets the web server know the file should be processed as using Server Side Includes (SSI).

Ben's message is close but it's not the root password that is the problem, the problem I found was I had created a password for the phpmyadmin database when I installed it. This password is not carried into the installation on ubuntu so the variable $dbpass=''; in the database settings file is empty and not the password you set.

1. To check you have the right password at the command line login to mysql using the following command: mysql -u phpmyadmin -p try a blank password I found I got access denied, enter the command again using the password you set during installation. If it logs in you now know what the password is.
2. Edit /etc/phpadmin/config-db.php and change $dbpass=''; to $dbpass='Your Password'; and save the file.
3. Edit /etc/dbconfig-common/phpmyadmin.conf change dbc_dbpass=''; to dbc_dbpass='Your Password'; and save the file. Close your browser and reload you will now find the message has gone way.

None of this worked for me as I was using a grid rather than a StackPanel.

Your code has a nested fragment. Calling super.onActivityForResult doesn't work

You don't want to modify every activity that your fragment can be called from and or make a work around calling every fragment in the fragment chain.

Here is one of many working solutions. create a fragment on the fly and wire it directly to the activity with the support fragment manager. Then call startActivityForResult from the newly created fragment.

First of all Map is an interface it has different implementation like - HashMap, TreeHashMap, LinkedHashMap etc. Interface works like a super class for the implementing class. So according to OOP's rule any concrete class that implements Map is a Map also. That means we can assign/put any HashMap type variable to a Map type variable without any type of casting.

In this case we can assign map1 to map2 without any casting or any losing of data -

Well, there's nothing really that can pass through that, other than % wildcard. It could be dangerous if you were using LIKE statement as attacker could put just % as login if you don't filter that out, and would have to just bruteforce a password of any of your users. People often suggest using prepared statements to make it 100% safe, as data can't interfere with the query itself that way. But for such simple queries it probably would be more efficient to do something like $login = preg_replace('/[^a-zA-Z0-9_]/', '', $login);

Personally, I use Emacs with hexl-mod.

Emacs is able to work with really huge files. You can use search/replace value easily. Finally, you can use 'ediff' to do some diffs.

The only problem here is time zone. If you want date in UTC time zone, then it is better to use Time object, suppose we have string:

In general all the things that you have learnt that are bad practise for web design seem to be the only option for html email.

The basics are:

• Have absolute paths for images (eg. https://stackoverflow.com/random-image.png)
• Use tables for layout (never thought I'd recommend that!)
• Use inline styles (and old school css too, at the very most 2.1, box-shadow won't work for instance ;) )

Just test in as many email clients as you can get your hands on, or use Litmus as someone else suggested above! (credit to Jim)

Adding to Andy's answer, there is additional utility to git rm:

1. Safety: When doing git rm instead of rm, Git will block the removal if there is a discrepancy between the HEAD version of a file and the staging index or working tree version. This block is a safety mechanism to prevent removal of in-progress changes.

2. Safeguarding: git rm --dry-run. This option is a safeguard that will execute the git rm command but not actually delete the files. Instead it will output which files it would have removed.

There is a fundamental flaw in the way we think about web, especially when using MVC. The flaw is that JavaScript is somehow the view's responsibility. A view is a view, JavaScript (behavioral or otherwise) is JavaScript. In Silverlight and WPF's MVVM pattern we we're faced with "view first" or "model first". In MVC we should always try to reason from the model's standpoint and JavaScript is a part of this model in many ways.

I would suggest using the AMD pattern (I myself like RequireJS). Seperate your JavaScript in modules, define your functionality and hook into your html from JavaScript instead of relying on a view to load the JavaScript. This will clean up your code, seperate your concerns and make life easier all in one fell swoop.

You may want to check that your project has Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.WebHost installed. As it turns out, in my case, Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.WebHost was installed in another project, but not the particular project that needed it. In your packages.config, check that a line like this is there:

If you have old key, you should recreate your API Key. Also be aware of proxies.

If you recently reached here as I did when searching for the same error in vain you may find it to be an update to NSS causing failure on CentOS. Test by running yum update and see if you get errors, curl also creates this error. Solution is simple enough just install NSS manually.

If you're like me it threw up an error similar to this:

curl: (77) Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

This took some time to solve but found that it wasn't the CA cert because by recreating them and checking all the configuration I had ruled it out. It could have been libcurl so I went in search of updates.

As mentioned I recreated CA certs. You can do this also but it may be a waste of time. http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Https

The next step (probably should of been my first) was to check that everything was up-to-date by simply running yum.

This gave me an affirmative answer that there was a bigger problem at play: Downloading Packages: error: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 RSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID c105b9de: BAD Problem opening package nss-softokn-freebl-3.14.3–19.el6_6.x86_64.rpm I started reading about Certificate Verification with NSS and how this new update may be related to my problems. So yum is broken. This is because nss-softokn-* needs nss-softokn-freebl-* need each other to function. The problem is they don't check each others version for compatibility and in some cases it ends up breaking yum. Lets go fix things:

You should of course download from your nearest mirror and check for the correct version / OS etc. We basically download and install the update from the rpm to fix yum. As @grumpysysadmin pointed out you can shorten the commands down. @cwgtex contributed that you should install the upgrade using the RPM command making the process even simplier.

To fix things with wordpress you need to restart your http server.

I know this is an old thread but PARTITION is the equiv of GROUP BY not ORDER BY. ORDER BY in this function is . . . ORDER BY. It's just a way to create uniqueness out of redundancy by adding a sequence number. Or you may eliminate the other redundant records by the WHERE clause when referencing the aliased column for the function. However, DISTINCT in the SELECT statement would probably accomplish the same thing in that regard.

The cleanest way is to not (directly) use an iterator at all:

• type your map with generics
• use a foreach loop to iterate over the entries:

This is way more efficient than iterating over keys, because you avoid n calls to get(key).

Sometimes you just need to suppress only some warnings and you want to keep other warnings, just to be safe. In your code, you can suppress the warnings for variables and even formal parameters by using GCC's unused attribute. Lets say you have this code snippet:

There might be a situation, when you need to use this function as a handler - which (imho) is quite common in C++ Boost library. Then you need the second formal parameter version, so the function's signature is the same as the template the handler requires, otherwise the compilation would fail. But you don't really need it in the function itself either...

The solution how to mark variable or the formal parameter to be excluded from warnings is this:

GCC has many other parameters, you can check them in the man pages. This also works for the C programs, not only C++, and I think it can be used in almost every function, not just handlers. Go ahead and try it! ;)

You can run the cd and the executable in a subshell by enclosing the command line in a pair of parentheses:

I hate PYTHONPATH. I find it brittle and annoying to set on a per-user basis (especially for daemon users) and keep track of as project folders move around. I would much rather set sys.path in the invoke scripts for standalone projects.

However sys.path.append isn't the way to do it. You can easily get duplicates, and it doesn't sort out .pth files. Better (and more readable): site.addsitedir.

And script.py wouldn't normally be the more appropriate place to do it, as it's inside the package you want to make available on the path. Library modules should certainly not be touching sys.path themselves. Instead, you'd normally have a hashbanged-script outside the package that you use to instantiate and run the app, and it's in this trivial wrapper script you'd put deployment details like sys.path-frobbing.

Nothing compares to extjs in terms of community size and presence on StackOverflow. Despite previous controversy, Ext JS now has a GPLv3 open source license. Its learning curve is long, but it can be quite rewarding once learned. Ext JS lacks a Material Design theme, and the team has repeatedly refused to release the source code on GitHub. For mobile, one must use the separate Sencha Touch library.

Have in mind also that,

large JavaScript libraries, such as YUI, have been receiving less attention from the community. Many developers today look at large JavaScript libraries as walled gardens they don’t want to be locked into.

1. Blueprint is a React-based UI toolkit developed by big data analytics company Palantir in TypeScript, and "optimized for building complex data-dense interfaces for desktop applications". Actively developed on GitHub as of May 2019, with comprehensive documentation. Components range from simple (chips, toast, icons) to complex (tree, data table, tag input with autocomplete, date range picker. No accordion or resizer.

   Blueprint targets modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE 11, and Microsoft Edge) and is licensed under a modified Apache license.

2. Webix - an advanced, easy to learn, mobile-friendly, responsive and rich free&open source JavaScript UI components library. Webix spun off from DHTMLX Touch (a project with 8 years of development behind it - see below) and went on to become a standalone UI components framework. The GPL3 edition allows commercial use and lets non-GPL applications using Webix keep their license, e.g. MIT, via a license exemption for FLOSS. Webix has 55 UI widgets, including trees, grids, treegrids and charts. Funding comes from a commercial edition with some advanced widgets (Pivot, Scheduler, Kanban, org chart etc.). Webix has an extensive list of free and commercial widgets, and integrates with most popular frameworks (React, Vue, Meteor, etc) and UI components.

   

   Skins look modern, and include a Material Design theme. The Touch theme also looks quite Material Design-ish. See also the Skin Builder.

   Minimal GitHub presence, but includes the library code, and the documentation (which still needs major improvements). Webix suffers from a having a small team and a lack of marketing. However, they have been responsive to user feedback, both on GitHub and on their forum.

   The library was lean (128Kb gzip+minified for all 55 widgets as of ~2015), faster than ExtJS, dojo and others, and the design is pleasant-looking. The current version of Webix (v6, as of Nov 2018) got heavier (400 - 676kB minified but NOT gzipped).

   The demos on Webix.com look and function great. The developer, XB Software, uses Webix in solutions they build for paying customers, so there's likely a good, funded future ahead of it.

   Webix aims for backwards compatibility down to IE8, and as a result carries some technical debt.

3. react-md - MIT-licensed Material Design UI components library for React. Responsive, accessible. Implements components from simple (buttons, cards) to complex (sortable tables, autocomplete, tags input, calendars). One lead author, ~1900 GitHub stars.

4. kendo - jQuery-based UI toolkit with 40+ basic open-source widgets, plus commercial professional widgets (grids, trees, charts etc.). Responsive&mobile support. Works with Bootstrap and AngularJS. Modern, with Material Design themes. The documentation is available on GitHub, which has enabled numerous contributions from users (4500+ commits, 500+ PRs as of Jan 2015).

   

   Well-supported commercially, claiming millions of developers, and part of a large family of developer tools. Telerik has received many accolades, is a multi-national company (Bulgaria, US), was acquired by Progress Software, and is a thought leader.

   A Kendo UI Professional developer license costs $700 and posting access to most forums is conditioned upon having a license or being in the trial period.

5. OpenUI5 - jQuery-based UI framework with 180 widgets, Apache 2.0-licensed and fully-open sourced and funded by German software giant SAP SE.

   

   The community is much larger than that of Webix, SAP is hiring developers to grow OpenUI5, and they presented OpenUI5 at OSCON 2014.

   The desktop themes are rather lackluster, but the Fiori design for web and mobile looks clean and neat.

6. DHTMLX - JavaScript library for building rich Web and Mobile apps. Looks most like ExtJS - check the demos. Has been developed since 2005 but still looks modern. All components except TreeGrid are available under GPLv2 but advanced features for many components are only available in the commercial PRO edition - see for example the tree. Claims to be used by many Fortune 500 companies.

   

   Minimal presence on GitHub (the main library code is missing) and StackOverflow but active forum. The documentation is not available on GitHub, which makes it difficult to improve by the community.

7. Polymer, a Web Components polyfill, plus Polymer Paper, Google's implementation of the Material design. Aimed at web and mobile apps. Doesn't have advanced widgets like trees or even grids but the controls it provides are mobile-first and responsive. Used by many big players, e.g. IBM or USA Today.

   

8. Ant Design claims it is "a design language for background applications", influenced by "nature" and helping designers "create low-entropy atmosphere for developer team". That's probably a poor translation from Chinese for "UI components for enterprise web applications". It's a React UI library written in TypeScript, with many components, from simple (buttons, cards) to advanced (autocomplete, calendar, tag input, table).

   The project was born in China, is popular with Chinese companies, and parts of the documentation are available only in Chinese. Quite popular on GitHub, yet it makes the mistake of splitting the community into Chinese and English chat rooms. The design looks Material-ish, but fonts are small and the information looks lost in a see of whitespace.

9. PrimeUI - collection of 45+ rich widgets based on jQuery UI. Apache 2.0 license. Small GitHub community. 35 premium themes available.

10. qooxdoo - "a universal JavaScript framework with a coherent set of individual components", developed and funded by German hosting provider 1&1 (see the contributors, one of the world's largest hosting companies. GPL/EPL (a business-friendly license).

    Mobile themes look modern but desktop themes look old (gradients).

11. jQuery UI - easy to pick up; looks a bit dated; lacks advanced widgets. Of course, you can combine it with independent widgets for particular needs, e.g. trees or other UI components, but the same can be said for any other framework.

12. angular + Angular UI. While Angular is backed by Google, it's being radically revamped in the upcoming 2.0 version, and "users will need to get to grips with a new kind of architecture. It's also been confirmed that there will be no migration path from Angular 1.X to 2.0". Moreover, the consensus seems to be that Angular 2 won't really be ready for use until a year or two from now. Angular UI has relatively few widgets (no trees, for example).

13. DojoToolkit and their powerful Dijit set of widgets. Completely open-sourced and actively developed on GitHub, but development is now (Nov 2018) focused on the new dojo.io framework, which has very few basic widgets. BSD/AFL license. Development started in 2004 and the Dojo Foundation is being sponsored by IBM, Google, and others - see Wikipedia. 7500 questions here on SO.

    

    Themes look desktop-oriented and dated - see the theme tester in dijit. The official theme previewer is broken and only shows "Claro". A Bootstrap theme exists, which looks a lot like Bootstrap, but doesn't use Bootstrap classes. In Jan 2015, I started a thread on building a Material Design theme for Dojo, which got quite popular within the first hours. However, there are questions regarding building that theme for the current Dojo 1.10 vs. the next Dojo 2.0. The response to that thread shows an active and wide community, covering many time zones.

    Unfortunately, Dojo has fallen out of popularity and fewer companies appear to use it, despite having (had?) a strong foothold in the enterprise world. In 2009-2012, its learning curve was steep and the documentation needed improvements; while the documentation has substantially improved, it's unclear how easy it is to pick up Dojo nowadays.

    With a Material Design theme, Dojo (2.0?) might be the killer UI components framework.

• You can match any non space or newline character with .

I saw a question the other day where someone inadvertently used an incomplete type by specifying something like

The compiler knew that struct A was a struct, despite A being totally undefined, by virtue of the struct keyword.

That was in C++, where such usage of struct is atypical (and, it turns out, can lead to foot-shooting). In C if you do

then you can use a as the typename and omit the struct later. This will lead the compiler to give you an undefined identifier error later, rather than incomplete type, if you mistype the name or forget a header.

Below changes worked for me and hope the same works for you.

1. Change the version of Java from 11 to 8 in pom.xml file
   <java.version>1.8</java.version>

2. Go to, File -> Settings -> Build, Execution, Deployment -> Compiler -> Java Compiler
   Here, in Module column you can see your project listed and in Target bytecode version column, Java version for the project is already specified(mostly 11), change it to 8

3. Go to, File -> Project Structure -> Modules. Here, in Source tab, you can see Language level option, choose 8 - Lambdas, type annotations etc.. Finally, choose Apply and OK, you're good to go.

The size_t type is the type returned by the sizeof operator. It is an unsigned integer capable of expressing the size in bytes of any memory range supported on the host machine. It is (typically) related to ptrdiff_t in that ptrdiff_t is a signed integer value such that sizeof(ptrdiff_t) and sizeof(size_t) are equal.

When writing C code you should always use size_t whenever dealing with memory ranges.

The int type on the other hand is basically defined as the size of the (signed) integer value that the host machine can use to most efficiently perform integer arithmetic. For example, on many older PC type computers the value sizeof(size_t) would be 4 (bytes) but sizeof(int) would be 2 (byte). 16 bit arithmetic was faster than 32 bit arithmetic, though the CPU could handle a (logical) memory space of up to 4 GiB.

Use the int type only when you care about efficiency as its actual precision depends strongly on both compiler options and machine architecture. A referral is sent by an AD server when it doesn't have the information requested itself, but know that another server have the info. It usually appears in trust environment where a DC can refer to a DC in trusted domain.

In your case you are only specifying a domain, relying on automatic lookup of what domain controller to use. I think that you should try to find out what domain controller is used for the query and look if that one really holds the requested information.

If you provide more information on your AD setup, including any trusts/subdomains, global catalogues and the DNS resource records for the domain controllers it will be easier to help you.

This is how I solved the problem. In Device Manager you will find the Arduino COM port.

Sets remove duplicate items. In order to do that, the item can't change while in the set. Lists can change after being created, and are termed 'mutable'. You cannot put mutable things in a set.

Lists have an unmutable equivalent, called a 'tuple'. This is how you would write a piece of code that took a list of lists, removed duplicate lists, then sorted it in reverse.

The returned Array has an extra input property, which contains the original string that was parsed. In addition, it has an index property, which represents the zero-based index of the match in the string.

When dealing with a non-global regex (i.e., no g flag on your regex), the value returned by .match() has an index property...all you have to do is access it.

Answering the Question / tl:dr;

I need to know how I can determine what "too much work" my application may be doing as all my processing is done in AsyncTasks.

The following are all candidates:

• IO or expensive processing on the main thread (loading drawables, inflating layouts, and setting Uri's on ImageView's all constitute IO on the main thread)
• Rendering large/complex/deep View hierarchies
• Invalidating large portions of a View hierarchy
• Expensive onDraw methods in custom View's
• Expensive calculations in animations
• Running "worker" threads at too high a priority to be considered "background" (AsyncTask's are "background" by default, java.lang.Thread is not)
• Generating lots of garbage, causing the garbage collector to "stop the world" - including the main thread - while it cleans up

To actually determine the specific cause you'll need to profile your app.

More Detail

I've been trying to understand Choreographer by experimenting and looking at the code.

The documentation of Choreographer opens with "Coordinates the timing of animations, input and drawing." which is actually a good description, but the rest goes on to over-emphasize animations.

The Choreographer is actually responsible for executing 3 types of callbacks, which run in this order:

1. input-handling callbacks (handling user-input such as touch events)
2. animation callbacks for tweening between frames, supplying a stable frame-start-time to any/all animations that are running. Running these callbacks 2nd means any animation-related calculations (e.g. changing positions of View's) have already been made by the time the third type of callback is invoked...
3. view traversal callbacks for drawing the view hierarchy.

The aim is to match the rate at which invalidated views are re-drawn (and animations tweened) with the screen vsync - typically 60fps.

The warning about skipped frames looks like an afterthought: The message is logged if a single pass through the 3 steps takes more than 30x the expected frame duration, so the smallest number you can expect to see in the log messages is "skipped 30 frames"; If each pass takes 50% longer than it should you will still skip 30 frames (naughty!) but you won't be warned about it.

From the 3 steps involved its clear that it isn't only animations that can trigger the warning: Invalidating a significant portion of a large View hierarchy or a View with a complicated onDraw method might be enough.

For example this will trigger the warning repeatedly:

Finally, if there is contention from other threads that reduce the amount of work the main thread can get done, the chance of skipping frames increases dramatically even though you aren't actually doing the work on the main thread.

In this situation it might be considered misleading to suggest that the app is doing too much on the main thread, but Android really wants worker threads to run at low priority so that they are prevented from starving the main thread. If your worker threads are low priority the only way to trigger the Choreographer warning really is to do too much on the main thread.

Emacs 28 adds a redo command (called undo-redo).

If you want to have more typical undo/redo, the following commands can be used.

Edit: As per @Ben Pearson's comment, for API <=10 now one can use IntentCompat class for the same. One can use IntentCompat.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TASK flag to clear task. So you can support pre API level 11 as well.

Using Base64 string in JSON will be very heavy. The parser has to do a lot of heavy lifting. Currently, Fresco only supports base supports Base64. Better you put something on Amazon Cloud or Firebase Cloud. And get an image as a URL. So that you can use Picasso or Glide for caching.

Maybe (probably) I am reading the question wrongly, but are you looking for the HasExited property that will tell you that the process represented by your Process object has exited (either normally or not).

If the process you have a reference to has a UI you can use the Responding property to determine if the UI is currently responding to user input or not.

You can also set EnableRaisingEvents and handle the Exited event (which is sent asychronously) or call WaitForExit() if you want to block.

Basically, you get connections in the Sleep state when :

• a PHP script connects to MySQL
• some queries are executed
• then, the PHP script does some stuff that takes time
  • without disconnecting from the DB
• and, finally, the PHP script ends
  • which means it disconnects from the MySQL server

So, you generally end up with many processes in a Sleep state when you have a lot of PHP processes that stay connected, without actually doing anything on the database-side.

A basic idea, so : make sure you don't have PHP processes that run for too long -- or force them to disconnect as soon as they don't need to access the database anymore.

Another thing, that I often see when there is some load on the server :

• There are more and more requests coming to Apache
  • which means many pages to generate
• Each PHP script, in order to generate a page, connects to the DB and does some queries
• These queries take more and more time, as the load on the DB server increases
• Which means more processes keep stacking up

A solution that can help is to reduce the time your queries take -- optimizing the longest ones.

The case when your Chrome is in the middle of its update also causes this exception. In my case chromedriver was already updated, while the chrome itself was v81 instead of v83.

"Headers already sent" means that your PHP script already sent the HTTP headers, and as such it can't make modifications to them now.

One issue that can occur, and seemingly break this is when using auto minimization of css. The request path for the minified bundle can have a different path than the original css. This may happen automatically so it can cause confusion.

The mapped request path for the minified bundle should be "/originalcssfolder/minifiedbundlename" not just "minifiedbundlename".

In other words, name your bundles to have same path (with the /) as the original folder structure, this way any external resources like fonts, images will map to correct URIs by the browser. The alternative is to use absolute url( refs in your css but that isn't usually desirable.

Well, the "failure sending e-mail" should hopefully have a bit more detail. But there are a few things that could cause this.

1. Restrictions on the "From" address. If you are using different from addresses, some could be blocked by your SMTP service from being able to send.
2. Flood prevention on your SMTP service could be stopping the e-mails from going out.

Regardless if it is one of these or another error, you will want to look at the exception and inner exception to get a bit more detail.

Java is platform independent in aspect of java developer,but this is not the case for the end-user, who need to have platform dependent JVM to run java code.
