The history limit is a pane attribute that is fixed at the time of pane creation and cannot be changed for existing panes. The value is taken from the history-limit session option (the default value is 2000).

To create a pane with a different value you will need to set the appropriate history-limit option before creating the pane.

To establish a different default, you can put a line like the following in your .tmux.conf file:

set-option -g history-limit 3000

Note: Be careful setting a very large default value, it can easily consume lots of RAM if you create many panes.

For a new pane (or the initial pane in a new window) in an existing session, you can set that session’s history-limit. You might use a command like this (from a shell):

For (the initial pane of the initial window in) a new session you will need to set the “global” history-limit before creating the session:

The OP states that each plot element overwrites the previous one rather than being combined into a single plot. This can happen even with one of the many suggestions made by other answers. If you select several lines and run them together, say:

the plot elements will typically be rendered together, one layer on top of the other. But if you execute the code line-by-line, each plot will overwrite the previous one.

This perhaps is what happened to the OP. It just happened to me: I had set up a new key binding to execute code by a single key press (on spyder), but my key binding was executing only the current line. The solution was to select lines by whole blocks or to run the whole file.

If you find yourself overriding (non-abstract) methods very often, you probably want to take a look at your design. It is very useful when the compiler would not otherwise catch the error. For instance trying to override initValue() in ThreadLocal, which I have done.

Using @Override when implementing interface methods (1.6+ feature) seems a bit overkill for me. If you have loads of methods some of which override and some don't, that probably bad design again (and your editor will probably show which is which if you don't know).

I know this is an uber old post and has good answers, BUT if anyone is interested, there is a jQuery plugin which simplifies number formatting (thousands formatting, number of decimal places, custom thousands separator, etc) by making an include and a simple call. Has lots of features and documentation is enough. It's called jQuery Number.

Unfortunately, custom transformers are currently not so easy to use. You have to use them with the TypeScript transformation API instead of executing tsc command. There is an issue requesting a plugin support for custom transformers.

One convenient trick to entering elapsed times into Excel is to have two zeros and a colon before the number of minutes, details follow. For copy and paste operations into Excel without have to worry about formatting at all one can use the format 00:XX:XX where XX are two digits totaling < 60. In that case, Excel will echo 0:XX:XX in the cell contents displayed and store the data as 12:XX:XX AM. If one pastes data in a 00:XXX:XX format into Excel, or 00:XX:XX where either XX > 59 this will be converted into a fraction of a day.

For example, 00:121:12 becomes 0.0841666666666667, which if multiplied by the number of seconds in a day, 86,400, becomes 7272 s. Next, 00:21:12 would by default show 0:21:12 stored as 12:21:12 AM. Finally, 00:21:60 becomes 0.0152777777777778, also a fraction of a day.

This suggestion is made merely to avoid having to worry about specific formatting in Excel, and letting the program worry about it. Note, for Excel data internally formatted as 12:XX:XX AM one can only use certain Excel commands, for example, one can take an average. However, subtraction will only work when the result is a positive number. Such that converting times into seconds, fractions of a day, or other real number is suggested for access to more complete arithmetic operation coverage.

For example, if one has a column of mixed time formats, or times that are negative and will not display, if one changes the number formatting to General, all the times will be converted to fractions of a day.

Quoting the sqlite documentation:

After that, have you started the SDK Manager to install the Android 4.2.2 SDK?

Can you check the Android_SDK_HOME environment variable?

Take into account that the Android SDK Installer just installs a Manager. After that, you have to install an SDK (or several).

Also, when you see 'Android 4.4.2 platform' in the Project Structure, that means that the project will ask for that SDK. It doesn't mean that the SDK has been installed.

The two queries express the same question. Apparently the query optimizer chooses two different execution plans. My guess would be that the distinct approach is executed like:

• Copy all business_key values to a temporary table
• Sort the temporary table
• Scan the temporary table, returning each item that is different from the one before it

The group by could be executed like:

• Scan the full table, storing each value of business key in a hashtable
• Return the keys of the hashtable

The first method optimizes for memory usage: it would still perform reasonably well when part of the temporary table has to be swapped out. The second method optimizes for speed, but potentially requires a large amount of memory if there are a lot of different keys.

Since you either have enough memory or few different keys, the second method outperforms the first. It's not unusual to see performance differences of 10x or even 100x between two execution plans.

The jQuery UI sortable plugin provides drag-and-drop reordering. A save button can extract the IDs of each item to create a comma-delimited string of those IDs, added to a hidden textbox. The textbox is returned to the server using an async postback.

This fiddle example reorders table elements, but does not save them to a database.

The sortable plugin takes one line of code to turn any list into a sortable list. Some languages use short-circuit, and others use full Boolean evaluation (if you know, this is similar to the directive $B in Pascal).

As other posters already indicated; your system clock is probably not synchronized up to microseconds to actual world time. Nonetheless are microsecond precision timestamps useful as a hybrid for both indicating current wall time, and measuring/profiling the duration of things.

I label all events/messages written to a log files using timestamps like "2012-10-21 19:13:45.267128". These convey both when it happened ("wall" time), and can also be used to measure the duration between this and the next event in the log file (relative difference in microseconds).

In one project I've seen configuration without <resource-ref> section in web.xml and it worked.

It's an educated guess, but I think <resource-ref> declaration of JNDI resource named jdbc/PollDatasource in web.xml may override declaration of resource with same name in context.xml and the declaration in web.xml is missing both driverClassName and url hence the NPEs for that properties.

Most methods for list work with array as well, common ones being pop(), extend(), and append().

Judging from the answers and comments, it appears that the array data structure isn't that popular. I like it though, the same way as one might prefer a tuple over a list.

The array structure has stricter rules than a list or np.array, and this can reduce errors and make debugging easier, especially when working with numerical data.

Attempts to insert/append a float to an int array will throw a TypeError:

values = [1,2,3]
int_array = array("i",values)
int_array.append(float(1))
# or int_array.extend([float(1)])

# TypeError: integer argument expected, got float

Keeping values which are meant to be integers (e.g. list of indices) in the array form may therefore prevent a "TypeError: list indices must be integers, not float", since arrays can be iterated over, similar to np.array and lists:

Note: The typed and rather strict nature of array leans more towards C rather than Python, and by design Python does not have many type-specific constraints in its functions. Its unpopularity also creates a positive feedback in collaborative work, and replacing it mostly involves an additional [int(x) for x in file]. In my case the issue didn't resolve by following any of the above methods. I had all the paths in my package config correct and the dll's were in place as referred, I was still getting run time error for System.Web.WebPages.Razor. I changed the localhost port number and this worked

By failing to provide a decent solution, you just end up with something worse IMHO.

The common work around is as follows.

is replaced with (assuming T extends Object and not another class)

I prefer the first example, however more academic types seem to prefer the second, or just prefer not to think about it.

Most of the examples of why you can't just use an Object[] equally apply to List or Collection (which are supported), so I see them as very poor arguments.

Note: this is one of the reasons the Collections library itself doesn't compile without warnings. If you this use-case cannot be supported without warnings, something is fundamentally broken with the generics model IMHO.

read.table wants to return a data.frame, which must have an element in each column. Therefore R expects each row to have the same number of elements and it doesn't fill in empty spaces by default. Try read.table("/PathTo/file.csv" , fill = TRUE ) to fill in the blanks.

1. Everything is encoded by default!!! This is pretty huge.

2. Then the comparison {1, 1, 1, 2, 2}= 1 produces the array {TRUE, TRUE, TRUE, FALSE, FALSE}, which comprises the condition for the IF statement.
3. The IF statement then returns an array of values, with {430, 96, 400.. for the values of the sum ranges where the month value equals 1 and ..0,0} where the month value does not equal 1.
4. That array {430, 96, 400, 0, 0} is then summed to get the answer you are looking for.

This is essentially equivalent to what the SUMIF and SUMIFs functions do. However, neither of those functions support the kind of calculation you tried to include in the conditional.

It's also possible to drop the IF completely. Since TRUE and FALSE can also be treated as 1 and 0, this formula--=SUM((MONTH($A$2:$A$6)=1)*$B$2:$B$6)--also works.

The value of hjust and vjust are only defined between 0 and 1:

• 0 means left-justified
• 1 means right-justified

One thing you can do is deactivate the external build. To do so click on "compiler settings icon" in the "Messages Make" panel that appears when you have an error. You can also open the compiler settings by going to File -> Settings -> Compiler. (Thanx to @maxgalbu for this tip).

Synchronized Methods

An entire method can be marked as synchronized resulting an implicit lock on the this reference (instance methods) or class (static methods). This is very convenient mechanism to achieve synchronization.

Steps A thread access the synchronized method. It implicitly acquires the lock and execute the code. If other thread want to access the above method, it has to wait. The thread can't get the lock, will be blocked and has to wait till the lock is released.

Synchronized Blocks

To acquire a lock on an object for a specific set of code block, synchronized blocks are the best fit. As a block is sufficient, using a synchronized method will be a waste.

More specifically with Synchronized Block , it is possible to define the object reference on which are want to acquire a lock.

I had this problem using an ajax function to recover the user password from Magento. The success event was not being fired, then I realized there were two errors:

1. The result was not being returned in JSON format
2. I was trying to convert an array to JSON format, but this array had non-utf characters

So every time I tried to use json_eoncde() to encode the returning array, the function was not working because one of its indexes had non-utf characters, most of them accentuation in brazilian portuguese words.

std::list does not provide a search method. You can iterate over the list and check if the element exists or use std::find. But I think for your situation std::set is more preferable. The former will take O(n) time but later will take O(lg(n)) time to search.

Before you use scan, make sure that the requested page's Content-Type header is text/html, since there can be links to things like images which are not encoded in UTF-8. The page could also be non-html if you picked up a href in something like a <link> element. How to check this varies on what HTTP library you are using. Faced the same problem as OP:

• Tomcat returned response when accessing directly via SOAP UI
• Didn't load html files

Tomcat SSL certificate was expired while a browser showed it as secure - Apache certificate was far from expiration. Updating Tomcat KeyStore file solved the problem.

I had this same error in an MVC 4 application using Razor. In an attempt to clean up the web.config files, I removed the two webpages: configuration values:

Once I restored these configuration values, the pages would compile correctly and the errors regarding the .Partial() extension method disappeared.

While you can store files in this fashion, it has significant tradeoffs:

• Most DBs are not optimized for giant quantities of binary data, and query performance often degrades dramatically as the table bloats, even with indexes. (SQL Server 2008, with the FILESTREAM column type, is the exception to the rule.)
• DB backup/replication becomes extremely slow.
• It's a lot easier to handle a corrupted drive with 2 million images -- just replace the disk on the RAID -- than a DB table that becomes corrupted.
• If you accidentally delete a dozen images on a filesystem, your operations guys can replace them pretty easily from a backup, and since the table index is tiny by comparison, it can be restored quickly. If you accidentally delete a dozen images in a giant database table, you have a long and painful wait to restore the DB from backup, paralyzing your entire system in the meantime.

These are just some of the drawbacks I can come up with off the top of my head. For tiny projects it may be worth storing files in this fashion, but if you're designing enterprise-grade software I would strongly recommend against it.

Using the Options pattern in ASP.NET Core is the way to go. I just want to add, if you need to access the options within your startup.cs, I recommend to do it this way:

There are several scenarios to consider. First of all, you need to check the type of your object. You can simply call GetType() for this. If the type does not implement IDynamicMetaObjectProvider, then you can use reflection same as for any other object. Something like:

FlatMap behaves very much like map, the difference is that the function it applies returns an observable itself, so it's perfectly suited to map over asynchronous operations.

In the practical sense, the function Map applies just makes a transformation over the chained response (not returning an Observable); while the function FlatMap applies returns an Observable<T>, that is why FlatMap is recommended if you plan to make an asynchronous call inside the method.

Summary:

• Map returns an object of type T
• FlatMap returns an Observable.

The cause is the difference between how a Windows-based based OS and a Unix based OS store the end-of-line markers.

Windows based operating systems, thanks to their DOS heritage, store an end-of-line as a pair of characters - 0x0D0A (carriage return + line feed). Unix-based operating systems just use 0x0A (a line feed). The ^M you're seeing is a visual representation of 0x0D (a carriage return).

dos2unix will help with this. You probably also need to adjust the source of the scripts to be 'Unix-friendly'.

If you are plotting time series graph and if you have used mtplotlib for drawing graphs then use median method to smooth-en the graph

where timeseries is your set of data passed you can alter windowsize for more smoothining.

(del can be your friend, as it marks objects as being deletable when there no other references to them. Now, often the CPython interpreter keeps this memory for later use, so your operating system might not see the "freed" memory.)

Maybe you would not run into any memory problem in the first place by using a more compact structure for your data. Thus, lists of numbers are much less memory-efficient than the format used by the standard array module or the third-party numpy module. You would save memory by putting your vertices in a NumPy 3xN array and your triangles in an N-element array.

The usual way to set the line color in matplotlib is to specify it in the plot command. This can either be done by a string after the data, e.g. "r-" for a red line, or by explicitely stating the color argument.

A more duck-typing approach would be to say

to_str indicates that an object's class may not be an actual descendant of the String, but the object itself is very much string-like (stringy?).

Here is a variation on ooga's answer that works for multiple search and replace pairs without having to check how values might be reused:

Also note that this gives the same results as removing the s/________//g and appending && sed -i 's/________//g' path_to_your_files/*.txt to the end of the command, but doesn't require specifying the path twice.

A general variation on this would be to use \x0 or _\x0_ in place of ________ if you know that no nulls appear in your files, as jthill suggested.

I had the same error but in my case it was not related to nuget packages at all. My solution had project that had reference to other projects that were not a part of my solution and were not built. After building them with some other solution (or I could include them into my solution as well), AND re-opening my solution in visual studio the issue was resolved.

Since R is already installed, you should be able to upgrade it with this method. First of all, you may want to have the packages you installed in the previous version in the new one,so it is convenient to check this post. Then, follow the instructions from here

1. Open the sources.list file:

You have to change the line

since you are deserializing an array (btw: you should start your class names with upper case letters as mentioned earlier). Additionally you have to create setter methods for your fields or mark them as public in order to make this work.

This is a complete implementation of Paul Bourdeaux's idea, namely returning a special initial view (or an empty view) in getView() for position 0.

It works for me and is relatively straightforward. You might consider this approach especially if you already have a custom adapter for your Spinner. (In my case, I was using custom adapter in order to easily customise the layout of the items, each item having a couple of TextViews.)

The repeat functionality is supported

You can still use the repeat functionality, it's just hiding behind a different syntax. Instead of writing repeat(4, 1fr), you have to write (1fr)[4]. That's it. Supporting grid-gap

Grid gaps are supported in all browsers except IE. So you can use the @supports at-rule to set the grid-gaps conditionally for all new browsers:

Use Autoprefixer

I can't stress this enough - half the pain of grids is solved just be using autoprefixer in your build step. Write your CSS in a standards-complaint way, and just let autoprefixer do it's job transforming all older spec properties automatically. When you decide you don't want to support IE, just change one line in the browserlist config and you'll have removed all IE-specific code from your built files.

I'm currently taking some legacy codebases and introducing minimal TypeScript changes to see if it helps our team. Depending on how strict you want to be with TypeScript, this may or may not be an option for you.

The most helpful way for us to get started was to extend our tsconfig.json file with this property:

I was trying to do the same thing, but I wanted the back button to be in the navigation bar. (I actually needed a back button, that would do more than only going back, so I had to use the leftBarButtonItem property). I tried what AndrewS suggested, but in the navigation bar it wouldn't look the way it should, as the UIButton was kind of casted to a UIBarButtonItem.

But I found a way to work around this. I actually just put a UIView under the UIButton and set the customView for the UIBarButtonItem. Here is the code, if somebody needs it:

Use the concatenation operator +, and the fact that numeric types will convert automatically into strings:

Explanation

This is actually a fairly subtle problem.

First up, you probably want to create a 'notransition' class that you can apply to elements to set their *-transition CSS attributes to none. For instance:

_{(Minor aside - note the lack of an -ms-transition in there. You don't need it. The first version of Internet Explorer to support transitions at all was IE 10, which supported them unprefixed.)}

But that's just style, and is the easy bit. When you come to try and use this class, you'll run into a trap. The trap is that code like this won't work the way you might naively expect:

Naively, you might think that the change in height won't be animated, because it happens while the 'notransition' class is applied. In reality, though, it will be animated, at least in all modern browsers I've tried. The problem is that the browser is caching the styling changes that it needs to make until the JavaScript has finished executing, and then making all the changes in a single reflow. As a result, it does a reflow where there is no net change to whether or not transitions are enabled, but there is a net change to the height. Consequently, it animates the height change.

You might think a reasonable and clean way to get around this would be to wrap the removal of the 'notransition' class in a 1ms timeout, like this:

but this doesn't reliably work either. I wasn't able to make the above code break in WebKit browsers, but on Firefox (on both slow and fast machines) you'll sometimes (seemingly at random) get the same behaviour as using the naive approach. I guess the reason for this is that it's possible for the JavaScript execution to be slow enough that the timeout function is waiting to execute by the time the browser is idle and would otherwise be thinking about doing an opportunistic reflow, and if that scenario happens, Firefox executes the queued function before the reflow.

The only solution I've found to the problem is to force a reflow of the element, flushing the CSS changes made to it, before removing the 'notransition' class. There are various ways to do this - see here for some. The closest thing there is to a 'standard' way of doing this is to read the offsetHeight property of the element.

One solution that actually works, then, is

So, if you do not specify where to start and how many bytes to read, the player will read up to the end (that is, will keep playing all the files in assets directory)

Since there is a tie at the 3-4 position you can test it by changing 4 to a 3, and it still returns 4 items. This is logical indexing and you might need to add a clause that removes the NA's or wrap which() around the logical expression. It's not much more difficult to do this "by" cyl:

"git rebase [-i] --root $tip" can now be used to rewrite all the history leading to "$tip" down to the root commit.

That new behavior was initially discussed here:

I personally think "git rebase -i --root" should be made to just work without requiring "--onto" and let you "edit" even the first one in the history.
It is understandable that nobody bothered, as people are a lot less often rewriting near the very beginning of the history than otherwise.

The patch followed.

As mentioned in the Git FAQ (and this SO question), the idea is:

1. Create new temporary branch
2. Rewind it to the commit you want to change using git reset --hard
3. Change that commit (it would be top of current HEAD, and you can modify the content of any file)

4. Rebase branch on top of changed commit, using:

   git rebase --onto <tmp branch> <commit after changed> <branch>`
   

The trick is to be sure the information you want to remove is not reintroduced by a later commit somewhere else in your file. If you suspect that, then you have to use filter-branch --tree-filter to make sure the content of that file does not contain in any commit the sensible information.

In both cases, you end up rewriting the SHA1 of every commit, so be careful if you have already published the branch you are modifying the contents of. You probably shouldn’t do it unless your project isn’t yet public and other people haven’t based work off the commits you’re about to rewrite.

To achieve this use following html:

If you wish to automate scraping of large amount pages or data, then you could try Gotz ETL.

It is completely model driven like a real ETL tool. Data structure, task workflow and pages to scrape are defined with a set of XML definition files and no coding is required. Query can be written either using Selectors with JSoup or XPath with HtmlUnit.

You can loop through the Selection object to see what was selected. Here is a code snippet from Microsoft (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa203726(office.11).aspx):

I was having exactly the same problem!! Increadible!! The solution I found was:

1. Adding all the components (JPanels) to the container;
2. Using the setVisible(false) method to all of them;
3. On user action, setting setVisible(true) to the panel I wanted to show.

No revalidate(), no validate(), no CardLayout needed.

In Java System.out.println() will print to the standard out of the system you are using. On the other hand, System.err.println() will print to the standard error.

If you are using a simple Java console application, both outputs will be the same (the command line or console) but you can reconfigure the streams so that for example, System.out still prints to the console but System.err writes to a file.

Also, IDEs like Eclipse show System.err in red text and System.out in black text by default.

You can not specify the password from the command line but you can do either using ssh keys or using sshpass as suggested by John C. or using a expect script.

To use sshpass, you need to install it first. Then

sshpass -f <(printf '%s\n' your_password) ssh user@hostname

instead of using sshpass -p your_password. As mentioned by Charles Duffy in the comments, it is safer to supply the password from a file or from a variable instead of from command line.

BTW, a little explanation for the <(command) syntax. The shell executes the command inside the parentheses and replaces the whole thing with a file descriptor, which is connected to the command's stdout. As we have well established here, writelines does not append the newlines for you. But, what everyone seems to be missing, is that it doesn't have to when used as a direct "counterpart" for readlines() and the initial read persevered the newlines!

When you open a file for reading in binary mode (via 'rb'), then use readlines() to fetch the file contents into memory, split by line, the newlines remain attached to the end of your lines! So, if you then subsequently write them back, you don't likely want writelines to append anything!

So if, you do something like:

with open('test.txt','rb') as f: lines=f.readlines()
with open('test.txt','wb') as f: f.writelines(lines)

You should end up with the same file content you started with.

In Windows, with Git Bash:

• in your workspace, change dir to the folder where your file lives
• git show cab485c83b53d56846eb883babaaf4dff2f2cc46:./your_file.ext > old.ext

In a very general way and to support SQL server here is

and for the performance, it is not bad (less than one second for more than 10,000 records On Server machine)

There are two ways.

1. for display in string:

   String.Format("{0:0.00}", doublVal );
   

2. for geting again Double

   doublVal = Convert.ToDouble(String.Format("{0:0.00}", doublVal ));
   

The problem with your code is in the line:

for(i in length(namevector))

You need to ask yourself: what is length(namevector)? It's one number. So essentially you're saying:

for(i in 11)
df[,i] <- NA

Or more simply:

df[,11] <- NA

That's why you're getting an error. What you want is:

for(i in namevector)
    df[,i] <- NA

Or more simply:

df[,namevector] <- NA

You need to wrap the forward slash to avoid cross browser issues or //commenting out.

I faced this issue when trying to set something to redis. The problem was that I previously used "set" method to set data with a certain key, like

$redis->set('persons', $persons)

Later I decided to change to "hSet" method, and I tried it this way

foreach($persons as $person){
    $redis->hSet('persons', $person->id, $person);
}

Then I got the aforementioned error. So, what I had to do is to go to redis-cli and manually delete "persons" entry with

del persons

It simply couldn't write different data structure under existing key, so I had to delete the entry and hSet then.

It's so amazing that this one problem has so many different causes and possible solutions. I found yet a different solution that worked for me.

Well, it's not so much a solution but a discovery: I can see the Maven Dependencies node in the Package Explorer, which is the default for the Java perspective, but I can not see it in the Java EE perspective, which uses the Project Explorer by default. Both of those explorers look very similar at quick glance, so you may expect to see the Maven Dependencies in both.

As I was trying to figure this out, I hadn't realized that difference, so it wasn't really a problem for me in the end after all.

You can copy all contents of myhtml to String as follows:
