It doesn't recognize that you have a master branch, but I found a way to get around it. I found out that there's nothing special about a master branch, you can just create another branch and call it master branch and that's what I did.

To create a master branch:

Adrian Hum is right, make sure you put quotes around your filename. Not because it can't handle spaces as zourtney pointed out, but because it will recognize the commas (and possibly other characters) in filenames as separate arguments. So it should look as Adrian Hum suggested.

The best way I found so far is using the Android-Debug-Database tool.

Its incredibly simple to use and setup, just add the dependence and connect to the device database's interface via web. No need to root the phone or adding activities or whatsoever. Here are the steps:

Make sure you are connecting with a USB and not a lightning cable. I had this problem trying to connect using a cord with lightning cables on both ends and it would not list the device. But switching to a USB to lightning cable worked.

There are lots of solutions:

Or the one you posted, if you reverse the direction of the assignment in the loop:

The class AbstractMap.SimpleEntry is generic and can be useful.

What you are doing is not necessarily bad practice but it does however require an extraordinary amount of typing. I would accomplish what you are trying to do like this.

This will take all the POST variables and put them in their own individual variables. So if you have a input field named email and the luser puts in [email protected] you will have a var named $email with a value of "[email protected]".

"\n" is not working everywhere!

An example would be to print every file in any subdirectories of a given directory (if you have no symlinks inside these directories which may break the function somehow). A pseudo-code of printing all files looks like this:

Honestly I am not sure if I really understand your question :P I will try to clarify as much as I can, from what I get from your original question:

First, in most case, you should NOT have any concern on Spring. You rarely need to have spring involved in writing your unit test. In normal case, you only need to instantiate the system under test (SUT, the target to be tested) in your unit test, and inject dependencies of SUT in the test too. The dependencies are usually a mock/stub.

Your original suggested way, and example 2, 3 is precisely doing what I am describing above.

In some rare case (like, integration tests, or some special unit tests), you need to create a Spring app context, and get your SUT from the app context. In such case, I believe you can:

1) Create your SUT in spring app ctx, get reference to it, and inject mocks to it

I believe there is no right or wrong for these 2 approaches, as long as you know what you are doing.

Just a supplement, @Mock, @Inject, MocktoJunitRunner etc are all unnecessary in using Mockito. They are just utilities to save you typing the Mockito.mock(Foo.class) and bunch of setter invocations.

BOTHER appears to be available from <asm/termios.h> on Linux. Pulling the definition from there is going to be wildly non-portable, but I assume this API is non-portable anyway, so it's probably no big loss.

Will not redirect a admin user to a new site, but start a new process on the server (usually a browser, IE) and load the site. That is for sure not what you want.

A very easy solution would be to change the href attribute of the link in you page_load method.

Javascript sort of has the idea of 'truthiness' and 'falsiness'. If a variable has a value then, generally 9as you will see) it has 'truthiness' - null, or no value tends to 'falsiness'. The snippets below might help:

The whole point of getting things out as IEnumerable is so you can lazily iterate over the contents. As such, there isn't really a concept of an index. What you are doing really doesn't make a lot of sense for an IEnumerable. If you need something that supports access by index, put it in an actual list or collection.

I'm giving this example because this actually work for my use case.

I was trying to use the AWS Rekognition API. The API returns a BoundingBox object:

Using docker-compose, I found the easiest way to do this is to do a docker ps -a (after starting my containers with docker-compose up) and get the ID of the container I want to have an interactive shell in (let's call it xyz123).

Then it's a simple matter to execute docker exec -ti xyz123 /bin/bash

and voila, an interactive shell.

As Chris said before me, just an a should override. For example:

I had the same issue with numeral, a JS library. The fix was to install the typings again with this command:

npm install --save @types/numeral

Note that while my query contains actual left join, your query apparently doesn't. Since the conditions are in the where, your query should behave like inner joins. (Although I admit I don't know Informix, so maybe I'm wrong there).

The specfific Informix extension used in the question works a bit differently with regards to left joins. Apart from the exact syntax of the join itself, this is mainly in the fact that in Informix, you can specify a list of outer joined tables. These will be left outer joined, and the join conditions can be put in the where clause. Note that this is a specific extension to SQL. Informix also supports 'normal' left joins, but you can't combine the two in one query, it seems.

In Oracle this extension doesn't exist, and you can't put outer join conditions in the where clause, since the conditions will be executed regardless.

So look what happens when you move conditions to the where clause:

Now, only rows will be returned for which those two conditions are true. They cannot be true when no row is found, so if there is no matching row in table3 and/or table4, or if ss is null in either of the two, one of these conditions is going to return false, and no row is returned. This effectively changed your outer join to an inner join, and as such changes the behavior significantly.

PS: left join and left outer join are the same. It means that you optionally join the second table to the first (the left one). Rows are returned if there is only data in the 'left' part of the join. In Oracle you can also right [outer] join to make not the left, but the right table the leading table. And there is and even full [outer] join to return a row if there is data in either table.

Actually the "Remote" option in Configuration Menu for Plug-In works by me (Win7 64, ie8 with all updates), however:

1. You need administrator rights
2. The plug-in should be disabled before pressing the remove button
3. You need restart internet-explorer to see the changes.

Also the previous comment about browsing-history->view objects was also useful if plug-in was installed right now.

If you want to fix up your latest commit, you can undo the commit, and unstage the files in it, by doing:

I can't see pass-by-reference in the examples where people try to demonstrate such. I only see pass-by-value.

In the case of variables that hold a reference to an object, the reference is the value of those variables, and therefore the reference is passed, which is then pass-by-value.

In a statement like this,

the value of the 'a' is not the Object, but the (so far only) reference to it. In other words, the object is not in the variable a - a reference to it is. I think this is something that seems difficult for programmers who are mainly only familiar with JavaScript. But it is easy for people who know also e.g. Java, C#, and C.

The simple thing that you can do is to check if Skype or VMware is installed in your machine or not.

Skype uses port 80 and 443 as an additional port for incoming connections. To change the port number in Skype, go to

Tools > Connection Options > Connection

in the Skype window. Now change the default 80 port number to something other.

VMware Workstation uses port 443 for sharing. To change this, open VMware Workstation and goto

Not exactly answering your question, but I came across your question, while looking for an answer to an issue that I had. Maybe it will help somebody else.

My issue was that cookies were set in server response, but were not saved by the browser.

The server response came back with cookies set:

Set-Cookie:my_cookie=HelloWorld; Path=/; Expires=Wed, 15 Mar 2017 15:59:59 GMT 

This is how I solved it.

I used fetch in the client-side code. If you do not specify credentials: 'include' in the fetch options, cookies are neither sent to server nor saved by the browser, even though the server response sets cookies.

You need make your Contact classes implement Comparable, and then implement the compareTo(Contact) method. That way, the Collections.sort will be able to sort them for you. Per the page I linked to, compareTo 'returns a negative integer, zero, or a positive integer as this object is less than, equal to, or greater than the specified object.'

For example, if you wanted to sort by name (A to Z), your class would look like this:

If you want to use standard Flask stuff - there's no way to avoid saving a temporary file if the uploaded file size is > 500kb. If it's smaller than 500kb - it will use "BytesIO", which stores the file content in memory, and if it's more than 500kb - it stores the contents in TemporaryFile() (as stated in the werkzeug documentation). In both cases your script will block until the entirety of uploaded file is received.

The easiest way to work around this that I have found is:

1) Create your own file-like IO class where you do all the processing of the incoming data

2) In your script, override Request class with your own:

You can do the access control at the Web server level using HTTP Basic authentication and htpasswd. There are a number of problems with this:

1. It's not very secure (username and password are trivially encoded on the wire)
2. It's difficult to maintain (you have to log into the server to add or remove users)
3. You have no control over the login dialog box presented by the browser
4. There is no way of logging out, short of restarting the browser.

Unless you're building a site for internal use with few users, I wouldn't really recommend it.

The best defense against leaks is a program structure which minimizes the use of malloc. This is not only good from a programming perspective, but also improves performance and maintainability. I'm not talking about using other things in place of malloc, but in terms of re-using objects and keeping very explicit tabs on all objects being passed around rather than allocating willy-nilly like one often gets used to in languages with garbage collectors like Java.

For example, a program I work on has a bunch of frame objects representing image data. Each frame object has sub-data, which the frame's destructor frees. The program keeps a list of all frames that are allocated, and when it needs a new one, checks a list of unused frame objects to see if it can re-use an existing one rather than allocate a new one. On shutdown, it just iterates through the list, freeing everything.

I know this question has been and gone, but if anyone else stumbled across this I wanted to let them know. This may sound an unintuitive thing to do but you could use a button with clickable set to false or what ever. From my understanding, they use a service similar to Skyhook, which is a location software that determines your location based on your wifi/cellphone signals. In order to achieve their accuracy, these services have large servers of databases that store location information on these cell towers and wifi access points - they actually survey metropolitan areas to keep it up to date. In order for you to achieve something similar, I would assume you'd have to use a service like Skyhook - you can use their SDK ( http://www.skyhookwireless.com/location-technology/ ).

However, if you want to do something internal (like using your own routers' locations) - then you'd likely have to create an algorithm that mimics Triangulation. You'll have to find a way to get the signal_strength and mac_address of the device and use that information along with the locations of your routers to come up with the location. You can probably get the information about devices hooked up to your routers by doing something similar to this ( http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/check-stealing-wifi/ ).

Another more recent answer had already proposed "cut", but only because of the side issue that it can be used to specify arbitrary offsets, not because of the directly relevant character vs. bytes issue.

If your cut doesn't handle -c with variable-byte encodings correctly, for "the first X characters" (replace X with your number) you could try:

• sed -E -e '1 s/^(.{X}).*$/\1/' -e q - which is limited to the first line though
• head -n 1 | grep -E -o '^.{X}' - which is limited to the first line and chains two commands though
• dd - which has already been suggested in other answers, but is really cumbersome
• A complicated sed script with sliding window buffer to handle characters spread over multiple lines, but that is probably more cumbersome/fragile than just using something like dd

If your tr doesn't handle character-classes with variable-byte encodings correctly you could try:

As of PHP 5.3.0 we have anonymous functions support that can create closures. A closure can access the variable which is created outside of its scope.

In the example, the closure is able to access $data because it was declared in the use clause.

It got this error because I had managed to clobber jdk1.8.0_60 with the jre!

For the JSON library to be available, you may have to install libjson-ruby from your package manager.

To use the 'json' library:

It will be a bit more difficult for objects from your own classes. For the following class, to_json will produce something like "\"#<A:0xb76e5728>\"".

Why are the 500 Internal Server Errors not being logged into your apache error logs?

The errors that cause your 500 Internal Server Error are coming from a PHP module. By default, PHP does NOT log these errors. Reason being you want web requests go as fast as physically possible and it's a security hazard to log errors to screen where attackers can observe them.

These instructions to enable Internal Server Error Logging are for Ubuntu 12.10 with PHP 5.3.10 and Apache/2.2.22.

Make sure PHP logging is turned on:

1. Locate your php.ini file:

   el@apollo:~$ locate php.ini
   /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
   

2. Edit that file as root:

   sudo vi /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
   

3. Find this line in php.ini:

I searched in the web before asking, an there were no conclusive solution, the reason why this error is: lib1.so and lib2.so are not OK, very probably where not compiled for a 64 PC, but for a 32 bits machine otherwise lib3.so is a 64 bits lib. At least that is my hipothesis.

VERY unfortunately ldconfig doesn't give a clean error message informing that it could not load the library, it only pumps:

ldconfig: /folder_where_the_wicked_lib_is/ is not a symbolic link

I solved this when I removed the libs not found by ldd over the binary. Now it's easier that I know where lies the problem.

My ld version: GNU ld version 2.20.51, and I don't know if a most recent version has a better message for its users.

Either:

• use a linked list implementation/roll your own.

  A linked list is the proper data structure to support efficient item removal, and does not force you to make space/time tradeoffs.

This can lead to nasty bugs that can be avoided by making a temporary copy using a slice of the whole sequence, e.g.,

Could Python do this better?

It seems like this particular Python API could be improved. Compare it, for instance, with:

• Java ListIterator::remove which documents "This call can only be made once per call to next or previous"
• C++ std::vector::erase which returns a valid interator to the element after the one removed

both of which make it crystal clear that you cannot modify a list being iterated except with the iterator itself, and gives you efficient ways to do so without copying the list.

Perhaps the underlying rationale is that Python lists are assumed to be dynamic array backed, and therefore any type of removal will be time inefficient anyways, while Java has a nicer interface hierarchy with both ArrayList and LinkedList implementations of ListIterator.

I believe the kernel raises SIGBUS when an application exhibits data misalignment on the data bus. Newtonsoft.JSON is a good solution for these kind of situations. Also Newtonsof.JSON is faster than others, such as JavaScriptSerializer, DataContractJsonSerializer.

To remove any doubt, my solution was to make a deep copy of the slice instead of a regular copy. This may not be applicable depending on your context (Memory constraints / size of the slice, potential for performance degradation - especially if the copy occurs in a loop like it did for me, etc...)

I had doubts that the warning was thrown because of a column I was dropping on a copy of the slice. While not technically trying to set a value in the copy of the slice, that was still a modification of the copy of the slice. The error I had in XCode was "iOS version lower than deployment target", which I didn't know how to fix. The error was displayed where the iPhone should have been indicated as a Device (upper left). I selected the project in Project Navigator and noticed that the iOS Deployment Target was set to 11.3 but when I checked my iPhone it was set to 11.2.1 (or something lower than 11.3). So I opened Settings on the phone, scrolled down to General and tapped Software Update. Since the update said it was scheduled but didn't start, I decided to take the SIM card out of my other phone and put it in the iPhone I was using for testing. Then the upgrade started quickly. After the Update finished on the phone, however, XCode still didn't recognize the phone. I unplugged the USB cable but didn't hear any sound, so I plugged it into another USB port on the computer and then heard a sound. Then XCode noticed the phone. So the problems were that the iPhone didn't inform me that I had an Update (or I ignored it and forgot about it) and it may have needed the SIM card, and I had a bad USB connection.

What solution you need depends on whether you want your array to retain its order, or not.

Generally, you never only have the array pointer, you also have a variable holding its current logical size, as well as a variable holding its allocated size. I'm also assuming that the removeIndex is within the bounds of the array. With that given, the removal is simple:

Order irrelevant

array[removeIndex] = array[--logicalSize];

That's it. You simply copy the last array element over the element that is to be removed, decrementing the logicalSize of the array in the process.

If removeIndex == logicalSize-1, i.e. the last element is to be removed, this degrades into a self-assignment of that last element, but that is not a problem.

Retaining order

memmove(array + removeIndex, array + removeIndex + 1, (--logicalSize - removeIndex)*sizeof(*array));

A bit more complex, because now we need to call memmove() to perform the shifting of elements, but still a one-liner. Again, this also updates the logicalSize of the array in the process.

The following suggestion let's you test abstract classes without creating a "real" subclass - the Mock is the subclass.

Note: The beauty of this solution is that you do not have to implement the abstract methods, as long as they are never invoked.

In my honest opinion, this is neater than using a spy, since a spy requires an instance, which means you have to create an instantiatable subclass of your abstract class.

it is supposed to be always set. no need to treat it as other variables. when $_GET is not set and it's expected - it is emergency case and that's what "Undefined variable" notice invented for

According to the Javascript standard, String.replace isn't supposed to modify the string itself. It just returns the modified string. You can refer to the Mozilla Developer Network documentation for more info.

You can always just set the string to the modified value:

variableABC = variableABC.replace('B', 'D')

Edit: The code given above is to only replace the first occurrence.

To replace all occurrences, you could do:

For weeks? Try opening the style sheet itself (by entering its address into the browser's address bar) and pressing F5. If it still doesn't refresh, your problem lies elsewhere.

If you update a style sheet and want to make sure it gets refreshed in every visitor's cache, a very popular method to do that is to add a version number as a GET parameter. That way, the style sheet gets refreshed when necessary, but not more often than that.

I don't think this is possible in Sequelize's order clause, because as far as I can tell, those clauses are meant to be binary operations applicable to every element in your list. (This makes sense, too, as it's generally how sorting a list works.)

So, an order clause can do something like order a list by recursing over it asking "which of these 2 elements is older?" Whereas your ordering is not reducible to a binary operation (compare_bigger(1,2) => 2) but is just an arbitrary sequence (2,4,11,2,9,0).

When I hit this issue with findAll, here was my solution (sub in your returned results for numbers):
