document.getElementsByName("iframe_name")[0].contentWindow.document.body.focus();
if is there only one Top-Level Container then last lines in GUI constructor would be for example
.
.
.
myFrame.setVisible(true);
EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
@Override
public void run() {
myComponent.grabFocus();
myComponent.requestFocus();//or inWindow
}
});
You can try
angular.element('#<elementId>').focus();
for eg.
angular.element('#txtUserId').focus();
its working for me.
This code actually doesn't provide focus:
new Actions(driver).moveToElement(element).perform();
It provides a hover effect.
Additionally, the JS code .focus() requires that the window be active in order to work.
js.executeScript("element.focus();");
I have found that this code works:
element.sendKeys(Keys.SHIFT);
For my own code, I use both:
element.sendKeys(Keys.SHIFT);
js.executeScript("element.focus();");
As Omu pointed out, you must set the focus in a document ready function. jQuery provides it for you. And do select on an id. For example, if you have a login page:
$(function() { $("#login-user-name").focus(); }); // jQuery rocks!
You could try:
According to the documentation:
The Select method activates the control if the control's Selectable style bit is set to true in ControlStyles, it is contained in another control, and all its parent controls are both visible and enabled.
You can first check if the control can be selectable by inspecting the MyTextBox.CanSelect property.

Check out Apache Ant
It's possible to use Ant for automatic builds with eclipse, here's how
From PEP 249, which is usually implemented by Python database APIs:
Cursor Objects should respond to the following methods and attributes:
[…]
.rowcount
This read-only attribute specifies the number of rows that the last .execute*() produced (for DQL statements like 'select') or affected (for DML statements like 'update' or 'insert').
But be careful—it goes on to say:
The attribute is -1 in case no
.execute*()
has been performed on the cursor or the rowcount of the last operation is cannot be determined by the interface. [7]Note:
Future versions of the DB API specification could redefine the latter case to have the object returnNone
instead of -1.
So if you've executed your statement, and it works, and you're certain your code will always be run against the same version of the same DBMS, this is a reasonable solution.
Here seems to be the difference on an already loaded package. While it is true that both require and library do not load the package. Library does a lot of other things before it checks and exits.
I would recommend removing "require" from the beginning of a function running 2mil times anyway, but if, for some reason I needed to keep it. require is technically a faster check.
microbenchmark(req = require(microbenchmark), lib = library(microbenchmark),times = 100000)
Unit: microseconds
expr min lq mean median uq max neval
req 3.676 5.181 6.596968 5.655 6.177 9456.006 1e+05
lib 17.192 19.887 27.302907 20.852 22.490 255665.881 1e+05
In Rider, this would be Ctrl +Shift+Keypad *, 2
But!, you cannot use the number 2 on keypad, only number 2 on the top row of the keyboard would work.
I build a module that allows do this kind of tests. But it is focused not only in repeat. But in guarantee that some piece of code is Thread safe.

I get this a lot. I'm on a Galaxy S too. I unplug the cable from the phone, plug it back in and try launching the app again from Eclipse, and it usually does the trick. Eclipse seems to lose the connection to the phone occasionally but this seems to kick it back to life.
You can clone https://github.com/brock/node-reinstall and run the simple command as given in the repository.After that just restart your system.
This is the simplest method and also worked for me.

If you prefer a non-object-oriented approach, move plt.xticks(rotation=70)
to right before the two avail_plot
calls, eg
plt.xticks(rotation=70)
avail_plot(axs[0], dates, s1, 'testing', 'green')
avail_plot(axs[1], dates, s1, 'testing2', 'red')
This sets the rotation property before setting up the labels. Since you have two axes here, plt.xticks
gets confused after you've made the two plots. At the point when plt.xticks
doesn't do anything, plt.gca()
does not give you the axes you want to modify, and so plt.xticks
, which acts on the current axes, is not going to work.
For an object-oriented approach not using plt.xticks
, you can use
plt.setp( axs[1].xaxis.get_majorticklabels(), rotation=70 )
after the two avail_plot
calls. This sets the rotation on the correct axes specifically.
The command as written will create new directories and files with the current date and time stamp, and yourself as the owner. If you are the only user on your system and you are doing this daily it may not matter much. But if preserving those attributes matters to you, you can modify your command with
cp -pur /home/abc/* /mnt/windowsabc/
The -p will preserve ownership, timestamps, and mode of the file. This can be pretty important depending on what you're backing up.
The alternative command with rsync would be
rsync -avh /home/abc/* /mnt/windowsabc
With rsync, -a indicates "archive" which preserves all those attributes mentioned above. -v indicates "verbose" which just lists what it's doing with each file as it runs. -z is left out here for local copies, but is for compression, which will help if you are backing up over a network. Finally, the -h tells rsync to report sizes in human-readable formats like MB,GB,etc.
Out of curiosity, I ran one copy to prime the system and avoid biasing against the first run, then I timed the following on a test run of 1GB of files from an internal SSD drive to a USB-connected HDD. These simply copied to empty target directories.
cp -pur : 19.5 seconds
rsync -ah : 19.6 seconds
rsync -azh : 61.5 seconds
Both commands seem to be about the same, although zipping and unzipping obviously tax the system where bandwidth is not a bottleneck.
As Cubbi pointed out in one of the comments, std::wstring_convert
(C++11) provides a neat simple solution (you need to #include
<locale>
and <codecvt>
):
std::wstring string_to_convert;
//setup converter
using convert_type = std::codecvt_utf8<wchar_t>;
std::wstring_convert<convert_type, wchar_t> converter;
//use converter (.to_bytes: wstr->str, .from_bytes: str->wstr)
std::string converted_str = converter.to_bytes( string_to_convert );
I was using a combination of wcstombs
and tedious allocation/deallocation of memory before I came across this.
http://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/locale/wstring_convert
update(2013.11.28)
One liners can be stated as so (Thank you Guss for your comment):
std::wstring str = std::wstring_convert<std::codecvt_utf8<wchar_t>>().from_bytes("some string");
Wrapper functions can be stated as so: (Thank you ArmanSchwarz for your comment)
std::wstring s2ws(const std::string& str)
{
using convert_typeX = std::codecvt_utf8<wchar_t>;
std::wstring_convert<convert_typeX, wchar_t> converterX;
return converterX.from_bytes(str);
}
std::string ws2s(const std::wstring& wstr)
{
using convert_typeX = std::codecvt_utf8<wchar_t>;
std::wstring_convert<convert_typeX, wchar_t> converterX;
return converterX.to_bytes(wstr);
}
Note: there's some controversy on whether string
/wstring
should be passed in to functions as references or as literals (due to C++11 and compiler updates). I'll leave the decision to the person implementing, but it's worth knowing.
Note: I'm using std::codecvt_utf8
in the above code, but if you're not using UTF-8 you'll need to change that to the appropriate encoding you're using:
$("#target").on({
hover: function(){
//do on mouse hover
},
click: function(){
//do on mouse click
}
});
This is one example where using prepared statements really saves you some trouble.
In MySQL, in order to insert a null value, you must specify it at INSERT
time or leave the field out which requires additional branching:
INSERT INTO table2 (f1, f2)
VALUES ('String Value', NULL);
However, if you want to insert a value in that field, you must now branch your code to add the single quotes:
INSERT INTO table2 (f1, f2)
VALUES ('String Value', 'String Value');
Prepared statements automatically do that for you. They know the difference between string(0) ""
and null
and write your query appropriately:
$stmt = $mysqli->prepare("INSERT INTO table2 (f1, f2) VALUES (?, ?)");
$stmt->bind_param('ss', $field1, $field2);
$field1 = "String Value";
$field2 = null;
$stmt->execute();
It escapes your fields for you, makes sure that you don't forget to bind a parameter. There is no reason to stay with the mysql
extension. Use mysqli
and it's prepared statements instead. You'll save yourself a world of pain.
I like this quote:
If we wish to count lines of code, we should not regard them as "lines produced" but as "lines spent". - Edsger Dijkstra
Some times you have contributed more by removing code than adding
You can always use CSS to constrain the width of the fieldset, which would also constrain the controls inside.
I find that I often have to constrain the width of select
controls, or else really long option text will make it totally unmanageable.
cleanText = strInputCode.replace(/<\/?[^>]+(>|$)/g, "");
Distilled from this website (web.achive).
This regex looks for <
, an optional slash /
, one or more characters that are not >
, then either >
or $
(the end of the line)
Examples:
'<div>Hello</div>' ==> 'Hello'
^^^^^ ^^^^^^
'Unterminated Tag <b' ==> 'Unterminated Tag '
^^
But it is not bulletproof:
'If you are < 13 you cannot register' ==> 'If you are '
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
'<div data="score > 42">Hello</div>' ==> ' 42">Hello'
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^
If someone is trying to break your application, this regex will not protect you. It should only be used if you already know the format of your input. As other knowledgable and mostly sane people have pointed out, to safely strip tags, you must use a parser.
If you do not have acccess to a convenient parser like the DOM, and you cannot trust your input to be in the right format, you may be better off using a package like sanitize-html, and also other sanitizers are available.
I came across this today and fixed the problem by removing the IISUrl from the Project file:
Delete the following line:
<IISUrl>http://localhost:xxxxx </IISUrl>
Reload project
I know this Q is old, but why not use all DIVs instead of the SPANs? Then everything plays all happy together.
Example:
<div>
<div> content1(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
<div> content2(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
<div> content3(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
</div>
<div>
<div> content4(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
<div> content5(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
<div> content6(divs,p, spans, etc) </div>
</div>
You can also run exactly same command at Cmd.exe command-line using PowerShell. I'd go with this approach for simplicity...
C:\>PowerShell -Command "temperature | prismcom.exe usb"
Please read up on Understanding the Windows PowerShell Pipeline
You can also type in C:\>PowerShell
at the command-line and it'll put you in PS C:\>
mode instanctly, where you can directly start writing PS.
Connections have a close
method as specified in PEP-249 (Python Database API Specification v2.0):
import pyodbc
conn = pyodbc.connect('DRIVER=MySQL ODBC 5.1 driver;SERVER=localhost;DATABASE=spt;UID=who;PWD=testest')
csr = conn.cursor()
csr.close()
conn.close() #<--- Close the connection
Since the pyodbc
connection and cursor are both context managers, nowadays it would be more convenient (and preferable) to write this as:
import pyodbc
conn = pyodbc.connect('DRIVER=MySQL ODBC 5.1 driver;SERVER=localhost;DATABASE=spt;UID=who;PWD=testest')
with conn:
crs = conn.cursor()
do_stuff
# conn.commit() will automatically be called when Python leaves the outer `with` statement
# Neither crs.close() nor conn.close() will be called upon leaving the `with` statement!!
See https://github.com/mkleehammer/pyodbc/issues/43 for an explanation for why conn.close() is not called.
Note that unlike the original code, this causes conn.commit()
to be called. Use the outer with
statement to control when you want commit
to be called.
Also note that regardless of whether or not you use the with
statements, per the docs,
Connections are automatically closed when they are deleted (typically when they go out of scope) so you should not normally need to call [
conn.close()
], but you can explicitly close the connection if you wish.
and similarly for cursors (my emphasis):
Cursors are closed automatically when they are deleted (typically when they go out of scope), so calling [
csr.close()
] is not usually necessary.
The test has to be done on a page that queries a database so yes typically that is a login page because it's the page that can do the most harm but could be an unsecure page as well.
Generally you would have your database queries behind a secure login but if you just have a listing of items or something that you don't care if the world sees a hacker could append some sql injection to the end of the querystring.
The key with SQL Injection is the person doing the injection would have to know that your querying a database so if your not querying a database then no sql inject can be done. If your form is submitting to a database then yes they could SQL Inject that. It's always good practice to use either stored procedures to select/insert/update/delete or make sure you prepare or escape out all the statements that will be hitting the database.
The answer for Ashwini is great, in pointing out that scipy.math.factorial
, numpy.math.factorial
, math.factorial
are the same functions. However, I'd recommend use the one that Janne mentioned, that scipy.special.factorial
is different. The one from scipy can take np.ndarray
as an input, while the others can't.
In [12]: import scipy.special
In [13]: temp = np.arange(10) # temp is an np.ndarray
In [14]: math.factorial(temp) # This won't work
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
TypeError Traceback (most recent call last)
<ipython-input-14-039ec0734458> in <module>()
----> 1 math.factorial(temp)
TypeError: only length-1 arrays can be converted to Python scalars
In [15]: scipy.special.factorial(temp) # This works!
Out[15]:
array([ 1.00000000e+00, 1.00000000e+00, 2.00000000e+00,
6.00000000e+00, 2.40000000e+01, 1.20000000e+02,
7.20000000e+02, 5.04000000e+03, 4.03200000e+04,
3.62880000e+05])
So, if you are doing factorial to a np.ndarray, the one from scipy will be easier to code and faster than doing the for-loops.
You don't need to set name , just giving an id is enough.
<input type="hidden" id="testId" />
and than with jquery you can use 'val()' method like below:
$('#testId').val("work");
In this thread rejection sampling was already discussed, but I wanted to suggest one optimization based on the fact that rand() % 2^something
does not introduce any bias as already mentioned above.
The algorithm is really simple:
Here's my sample code:
int randInInterval(int min, int max) {
int intervalLen = max - min + 1;
//now calculate the smallest power of 2 that is >= than `intervalLen`
int ceilingPowerOf2 = pow(2, ceil(log2(intervalLen)));
int randomNumber = rand() % ceilingPowerOf2; //this is "as uniform as rand()"
if (randomNumber < intervalLen)
return min + randomNumber; //ok!
return randInInterval(min, max); //reject sample and try again
}
This works well especially for small intervals, because the power of 2 will be "nearer" to the real interval length, and so the number of misses will be smaller.
PS
Obviously avoiding the recursion would be more efficient (no need to calculate over and over the log ceiling..) but I thought it was more readable for this example.
AFAIK, there is no good way to do this with consistency. I was writing an IE only web-based IM client. We ended up using window.focus(), which works most of the time. Sometimes it will actually cause the window to steal focus from the foreground app, which can be really annoying.

While I haven't used it a lot, I've heard nothing but good things about it and if your manipulating dates extensively in your projects it would probably be worth looking into.

We don't need to plt.ioff()
or plt.show()
(if we use %matplotlib inline
). You can test above code without plt.ioff()
. plt.close()
has the essential role. Try this one:
%matplotlib inline
import pylab as plt
# It doesn't matter you add line below. You can even replace it by 'plt.ion()', but you will see no changes.
## plt.ioff()
# Create a new figure, plot into it, then close it so it never gets displayed
fig = plt.figure()
plt.plot([1,2,3])
plt.savefig('test0.png')
plt.close(fig)
# Create a new figure, plot into it, then don't close it so it does get displayed
fig2 = plt.figure()
plt.plot([1,3,2])
plt.savefig('test1.png')
If you run this code in iPython, it will display a second plot, and if you add plt.close(fig2)
to the end of it, you will see nothing.
In conclusion, if you close figure by plt.close(fig)
, it won't be displayed.

If you want using it with parameter (ie. delete all subdirs under the given directory), then put this two lines into a *.bat or *.cmd file:
@echo off
for /f "delims=" %%d in ('dir %1 /s /b /ad ^| sort /r') do rd "%%d" 2>nul && echo rmdir %%d
and add script-path to your PATH environment variable. In this case you can call your batch file from any location (I suppose UNC path should work, too).
Eg.:
YourBatchFileName c:\temp
(you may use quotation marks if needed)
will remove all empty subdirs under c:\temp folder
YourBatchFileName
will remove all empty subdirs under the current directory.

Original object: { page: 1, size: 5, filters: [{ field: "id", value: 1, comparison: "EQ" }
Encoded object: eyJwYWdlIjoxLCJzaXplIjo1LCJmaWx0ZXJzIjpbeyJmaWVsZCI6ImlkUGFyZW50IiwiY29tcGFyaXNvbiI6Ik5VTEwifV19
@GetMapping
fun list(@RequestParam search: String?): ResponseEntity<ListDTO> {
val filter: SearchFilterDTO = decodeSearchFieldDTO(search)
...
}
private fun decodeSearchFieldDTO(search: String?): SearchFilterDTO {
if (search.isNullOrEmpty()) return SearchFilterDTO()
return Gson().fromJson(String(Base64.getDecoder().decode(search)), SearchFilterDTO::class.java)
}
And here the SearchFilterDTO and FilterDTO
class SearchFilterDTO(
var currentPage: Int = 1,
var pageSize: Int = 10,
var sort: Sort? = null,
var column: String? = null,
var filters: List<FilterDTO> = ArrayList<FilterDTO>(),
var paged: Boolean = true
)
class FilterDTO(
var field: String,
var value: Any,
var comparison: Comparison
)
Depending on the usecase it makes a difference whether you use javascript (element.value = x
) or jQuery $(element).val(x);
When x
is undefined
jQuery results in an empty String whereas javascript results in "undefined"
as a String.
You can use the information schema views:
SELECT DISTINCT TABLE_SCHEMA, TABLE_NAME
FROM Information_Schema.Columns
WHERE COLUMN_NAME = 'ID'
Here's the MSDN reference for the "Columns" view: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms188348.aspx
Consider distinct
to be a stateful filter. Here is a function that returns a predicate that maintains state about what it's seen previously, and that returns whether the given element was seen for the first time:
public static <T> Predicate<T> distinctByKey(Function<? super T, ?> keyExtractor) {
Set<Object> seen = ConcurrentHashMap.newKeySet();
return t -> seen.add(keyExtractor.apply(t));
}
Then you can write:
persons.stream().filter(distinctByKey(Person::getName))
Note that if the stream is ordered and is run in parallel, this will preserve an arbitrary element from among the duplicates, instead of the first one, as distinct()
does.
(This is essentially the same as my answer to this question: Java Lambda Stream Distinct() on arbitrary key?)
There are plenty of good answers here about reading it in chunks, I'm just gonna show you a little trick that reads all the content at once to a buffer and prints it.
I'm not saying it's better. It's not, and as Ricardo sometimes it can be bad, but I find it's a nice solution for the simple cases.
I sprinkled it with comments because there's a lot going on.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
char* ReadFile(char *filename)
{
char *buffer = NULL;
int string_size, read_size;
FILE *handler = fopen(filename, "r");
if (handler)
{
// Seek the last byte of the file
fseek(handler, 0, SEEK_END);
// Offset from the first to the last byte, or in other words, filesize
string_size = ftell(handler);
// go back to the start of the file
rewind(handler);
// Allocate a string that can hold it all
buffer = (char*) malloc(sizeof(char) * (string_size + 1) );
// Read it all in one operation
read_size = fread(buffer, sizeof(char), string_size, handler);
// fread doesn't set it so put a \0 in the last position
// and buffer is now officially a string
buffer[string_size] = '\0';
if (string_size != read_size)
{
// Something went wrong, throw away the memory and set
// the buffer to NULL
free(buffer);
buffer = NULL;
}
// Always remember to close the file.
fclose(handler);
}
return buffer;
}
int main()
{
char *string = ReadFile("yourfile.txt");
if (string)
{
puts(string);
free(string);
}
return 0;
}
Let me know if it's useful or you could learn something from it :)
from collections import defaultdict
_trie = lambda: defaultdict(_trie)
trie = _trie()
for s in ["cat", "bat", "rat", "cam"]:
curr = trie
for c in s:
curr = curr[c]
curr.setdefault("_end")
def word_exist(trie, word):
curr = trie
for w in word:
if w not in curr:
return False
curr = curr[w]
return '_end' in curr
print(word_exist(trie, 'cam'))
You could use java-aes-crypto or Facebook's Conceal

Add this inside your pages head tag (targeting the IE version you want):
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
Note, this will NOT change the fact that the browser says its in compatibility mode (called the browser mode), but the page will render in IE8 standards mode. If its STILL not rendering how you wish, its probably because you have javascript that is erroneously checking the I.E. version. See the following blog post to determine which property you should be keying off of because even if you set the meta X-UA-Compatible tag, the user agent string will still say MSIE 7.0.
In my case, for the fix I had to add a check for IE7 Compatibility mode. I did so using a simple javascript code:
//IE8 and later will have the word 'trident' in its user agent string.
if (navigator.userAgent.indexOf("Trident")>-1) { //do something }
The DOMContentLoaded
event will fire as soon as the DOM hierarchy has been fully constructed, the load
event will do it when all the images and sub-frames have finished loading.
DOMContentLoaded
will work on most modern browsers, but not on IE including IE9 and above. There are some workarounds to mimic this event on older versions of IE, like the used on the jQuery library, they attach the IE specific onreadystatechange
event.
SBT solution stated above did not work for me. What worked for me is excluding slf4j-log4j12
//dependencies with exclusions_x000D_
libraryDependencies ++= Seq(_x000D_
//depencies_x000D_
).map(_.exclude("org.slf4j","slf4j-log4j12"))

I've been using P4Merge, it's free and cross platform.
Why not do it for the entire page. At page load detect all images and continuously rotate all of them.
var RotationCollection = {
rotators: [],

try {
var canvasTemplate = '<canvas id="_ID_" width="350" height="350" ></canvas>';
var ja = 5;
$.each($("img"), function (index, val) {
var newID = "can_" + index;
var can = canvasTemplate.replace("_ID_", newID);
if (showBorders == true) $(can).insertAfter($(val)).css({ "border": "solid thin black", "box-shadow": "5px 5px 10px 2px black", "border-raduis": "15px" });
else $(can).insertAfter($(val));
$(val).remove();
var curRot = new RotationClass(newID, $(val).attr('src'), ja * ((0 == index % 2) ? -1 : 1), isoverlap);
RotationCollection.rotators[index] = curRot;
ja += 5;
//return false;
});
window.setInterval(function () {
$.each(RotationCollection.rotators, function (index, value) {
value.drawRotatedImage();
})
}, 500);
}

console.log(err.message);

Ok, I think I've figured what the issue is here. It was to do with the version of watchman
I was running.
In a new shell, run brew update
then: brew unlink watchman
then: brew install watchman
now, you can run react-native start
from your project folder
I leave this shell open, create a new shell window and run: react-native run-android
from my project folder. All is right with the world.
ps. I was originally on version 3.2 of watchman. This upgraded me to 3.7.
pps. I'm new to this so that might not be the swiftest route to the solution but it has worked for me.
* MORE INFO FOR RUNNING/DEBUGGING ON A DEVICE *
You might find that if you deploy your app to your Android device rather than an emulater you get a red screen of death with an error saying Unable to load JS Bundle
. You need to set the debug server for your device to be your computer running react...either its name OR IP address.
Menu
buttonDev Settings
Debug server host for device
or Change Bundle Location

Am afraid this question has been answered a few times, Pls take a look at the following if it's related
So do you want them to get the IE password-challenge box, or should they be directed to your login page and enter their information there? If it's the second option, then you should at least enable Anonymous access to your login page, since the site won't know who they are yet.
If you want the first option, then the login page they're getting forwarded to will need to read the currently logged-in user and act based on that, since they would have had to correctly authenticate to get this far.
i tested below code. working fine
public class test extends Activity implements OnErrorListener, OnPreparedListener {
private MediaPlayer player;
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.main);
player = new MediaPlayer();
player.setAudioStreamType(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC);
try {
player.setDataSource("http://www.hubharp.com/web_sound/BachGavotte.mp3");
player.setOnErrorListener(this);
player.setOnPreparedListener(this);
player.prepareAsync();
} catch (IllegalArgumentException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (IllegalStateException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
@Override
public void onDestroy() {
super.onDestroy();
player.release();
player = null;
}
@Override
public void onPrepared(MediaPlayer play) {
play.start();
}
@Override
public boolean onError(MediaPlayer arg0, int arg1, int arg2) {
return false;
}
}
pass date to moment like this it will compare and give result. if you dont want format remove it
moment(Date1).format("YYYY-MM-DD") > moment(Date2).format("YYYY-MM-DD")
I had a very similar issue as you had. What actually worked is this:
iTotalColumns = xlWorkSheet.UsedRange.Columns.Count;
iTotalRows = xlWorkSheet.UsedRange.Rows.Count;
//These two lines do the magic.
xlWorkSheet.Columns.ClearFormats();
xlWorkSheet.Rows.ClearFormats();
iTotalColumns = xlWorkSheet.UsedRange.Columns.Count;
iTotalRows = xlWorkSheet.UsedRange.Rows.Count;
IMHO what happens is that when you delete data from Excel, it keeps on thinking that there is data in those cells, though they are blank. When I cleared the formats, it removes the blank cells and hence returns actual counts.
wamp\bin\php
directory and extract it like this(Note: you need to rename your folder to phpversionOfPhp
you can create user and grant privilege
create user read_only identified by read_only; grant create session,select any table to read_only;
Another similar solution using attributes defined on the form element:
<form id="contactForm1" action="/your_url" method="post">
<!-- Form input fields here (do not forget your name attributes). -->
</form>
<script type="text/javascript">
var frm = $('#contactForm1');
frm.submit(function (e) {
e.preventDefault();
$.ajax({
type: frm.attr('method'),
url: frm.attr('action'),
data: frm.serialize(),
success: function (data) {
console.log('Submission was successful.');
console.log(data);
},
error: function (data) {
console.log('An error occurred.');
console.log(data);
},
});
});

I had this error trying to connect with a different user than root
I'd set up to limit access.
In mysql I'd set up user MofX

When I changed the user's host to 127.0.0.1

Simplest Definition of Looper & Handler:
Looper is a class that turns a thread into a Pipeline Thread and Handler gives you a mechanism to push tasks into it from any other threads.
Details in general wording:
So a PipeLine Thread is a thread which can accept more tasks from other threads through a Handler.
The Looper is named so because it implements the loop – takes the next task, executes it, then takes the next one and so on. The Handler is called a handler because it is used to handle or accept that next task each time from any other thread and pass to Looper (Thread or PipeLine Thread).
Example:
A Looper and Handler or PipeLine Thread's very perfect example is to download more than one images or upload them to a server (Http) one by one in a single thread instead of starting a new Thread for each network call in the background.
Read more here about Looper and Handler and the definition of Pipeline Thread:
Faster way of writing it would be...
in = open('path/to/input/file').read()
out = open('path/to/input/file', 'w')
replacements = {'zero':'0', 'temp':'bob', 'garbage':'nothing'}
for i in replacements.keys():
in = in.replace(i, replacements[i])
out.write(in)
out.close
This eliminated a lot of the iterations that the other answers suggest, and will speed up the process for longer files.
This happened to me while trying to copy over the PSPDFKIT demo library into my project. I followed all the instructions in the site + all the suggestions on this page.. for some reason it kept on giving the above error, the problem was that if i grepped the message in the error method.. it only appeared in the binary (obviously I have no access to the source code b/c I have to pay for it).
I noticed this in the instruction page though:
So I went to the guts of that config file and found this:
OTHER_LDFLAGS=$(inherited) -ObjC -fobjc-arc -lz -framework CoreText -framework CoreMedia -framework MediaPlayer -framework AVFoundation -framework ImageIO -framework MediaPlayer -framework MessageUI -framework CoreGraphics -framework Foundation -framework QuartzCore -framework AVFoundation -framework CFNetwork -framework MobileCoreServices -framework SystemConfiguration -weak_framework UIKit
Then I went to the sample project provided by the author of the said library.. and noticed that the previous flags where copied verbatim to the other linker flags in my build settings.. however in my project.. they were not!.. So i simply copied and pasted them into my project's build settings other linker flags and everything worked!
take away point: if you are relying on some .xcconfig file on your setup, double check with a sample code source or something and make sure that it has actually been applied.. it wasn't applied properly in my case
To use the array type properly as a function argument or template parameter, make a struct instead of a typedef, then add an operator[]
to the struct so you can keep the array like functionality like so:
typedef struct type24 {
char& operator[](int i) { return byte[i]; }
char byte[3];
} type24;
type24 x;
x[2] = 'r';
char c = x[2];
Where does it fail?
I agree that your issue is probably that your dataset of 600,000 rows is probably just too large. I see that you are then adding it to Session. If you are using Sql session state, it will have to serialize that data as well.
Even if you dispose of your objects properly, you will always have at least 2 copies of this dataset in memory if you run it twice, once in session, once in procedural code. This will never scale in a web application.
Do the math, 600,000 rows, at even 1-128 bit guid per row would yield 9.6 megabytes (600k * 128 / 8) of just data, not to mention the dataset overhead.
Trim down your results.
I was having this problem on a Windows 7 (64 bit) after a power outage. The SQLEXPRESS service was not started even though is status was set to 'Automatic' and the mahine had been rebooted several times. Had to start the service manually.
If you are not using redux-form and you are using local state for changes then your react-select component might look like this:
class MySelect extends Component {
constructor() {
super()
}
state = {
selectedValue: 'default' // your default value goes here
}
render() {
<Select
...
value={this.state.selectedValue}
...
/>
)}

You need a json serializer to parse your content, probably you already have it, for your initial question on how to make a request, this might be an idea:
var baseAddress = "http://www.example.com/1.0/service/action";
var http = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(new Uri(baseAddress));
http.Accept = "application/json";
http.ContentType = "application/json";
http.Method = "POST";
string parsedContent = <<PUT HERE YOUR JSON PARSED CONTENT>>;
ASCIIEncoding encoding = new ASCIIEncoding();
Byte[] bytes = encoding.GetBytes(parsedContent);
Stream newStream = http.GetRequestStream();
newStream.Write(bytes, 0, bytes.Length);
newStream.Close();
var response = http.GetResponse();
var stream = response.GetResponseStream();
var sr = new StreamReader(stream);
var content = sr.ReadToEnd();

Came across this question, while trying to uninstall the many random Python packages installed over time.
Using information from this thread, this is what I came up with:
cat package_list | xargs -n1 sudo pip uninstall -y
The package_list
is cleaned up (awk) from a pip freeze
in a virtualenv.
To remove almost all Python packages:
yolk -l | cut -f 1 -d " " | grep -v "setuptools|pip|ETC.." | xargs -n1 pip uninstall -y
What type of variable is format?
From a java POV, format is an implemtation of an anonymous interface. This interface has one method named for each mime type. When you invoke one of those methods (passing it a block), then if rails feels that the user wants that content type, then it will invoke your block.
The twist, of course, is that this anonymous glue object doesn't actually implement an interface - it catches the method calls dynamically and works out if its the name of a mime type that it knows about.
Personally, I think it looks weird: the block that you pass in is executed. It would make more sense to me to pass in a hash of format labels and blocks. But - that's how its done in RoR, it seems.
Here’s the modern answer (valid from 2014 and on). The accepted answer was a very fine answer in 2011. These days I recommend no one uses the Date
, DateFormat
and SimpleDateFormat
classes. It all goes more natural with the modern Java date and time API.
To get a date-time object from your millis:
ZonedDateTime dateTime = Instant.ofEpochMilli(millis)
.atZone(ZoneId.of("Australia/Sydney"));
If millis
equals 1318388699000L
, this gives you 2011-10-12T14:04:59+11:00[Australia/Sydney]
. Should the code in some strange way end up on a JVM that doesn’t know Australia/Sydney time zone, you can be sure to be notified through an exception.
If you want the date-time in your string format for presentation:
String formatted = dateTime.format(DateTimeFormatter.ofPattern("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss"));
Result:
12/10/2011 14:04:59
PS I don’t know what you mean by “The above doesn't work.” On my computer your code in the question too prints 12/10/2011 14:04:59
.
I would just query for the for
attribute instead of repetitively recursing the DOM tree.
$("input:checkbox").on("change", function() {
$("label[for='"+this.id+"']").text("TESTTTT");
});
If you want to add html content to your email, url encode your html code for the message body and include it in your mailto link code, but trouble is you can't set the type of the email from this link from plaintext to html, the client using the link needs their mail client to send html emails by default. In case you want to test here is the code for a simple mailto link, with an image wrapped in a link (angular style urls added for visibility):
<a href="mailto:?body=%3Ca%20href%3D%22{{ scope.url }}%22%3E%3Cimg%20src%3D%22{{ scope.url }}%22%20width%3D%22300%22%20%2F%3E%3C%2Fa%3E">
The html tags are url encoded.

I strongly recommend taking a look at Vuex, it is made for globally accessible data in Vue.
If you only need a few base variables that will never be modified, I would use ES6 imports:
// config.js
export default {
hostname: 'myhostname'
}
// .vue file
import config from 'config.js'
console.log(config.hostname)
You could also import a json
file in the same way, which can be edited by people without code knowledge or imported into SASS.
Script for loading of custom .env
file:
Add the following lines to /config/environment.rb
, between the require
line, and the Application.initialize
line:
# Load the app's custom environment variables here, so that they are loaded before environments/*.rb
app_environment_variables = File.join(Rails.root, 'config', 'local_environment.env')
if File.exists?(app_environment_variables)
lines = File.readlines(app_environment_variables)
lines.each do |line|
line.chomp!
next if line.empty? or line[0] == '#'
parts = line.partition '='
raise "Wrong line: #{line} in #{app_environment_variables}" if parts.last.empty?
ENV[parts.first] = parts.last
end
end
And config/local_environment.env
(you will want to .gitignore
it) will look like:
# This is ignored comment
DATABASE_URL=mysql2://user:[email protected]:3307/database
RACK_ENV=development
(Based on solution of @user664833)
I would just do:
private static Timer timer;
private static void Main()
{
timer = new Timer(_ => OnCallBack(), null, 1000 * 10,Timeout.Infinite); //in 10 seconds
Console.ReadLine();
}
private static void OnCallBack()
{
timer.Dispose();
Thread.Sleep(3000); //doing some long operation
timer = new Timer(_ => OnCallBack(), null, 1000 * 10,Timeout.Infinite); //in 10 seconds
}
And ignore the period parameter, since you're attempting to control the periodicy yourself.
Your original code is running as fast as possible, since you keep specifying 0
for the dueTime
parameter. From Timer.Change
:
If dueTime is zero (0), the callback method is invoked immediately.
You can make a cookie never end by setting it to whatever date plus one more than the current year like this :
var d = new Date();
document.cookie = "username=John Doe; expires=Thu, 18 Dec " + (d.getFullYear() + 1) + " 12:00:00 UTC";
I did a test on MS SQL 2005 using the following tables: A 400K rows, B 26K rows and C 450 rows.
The estimated query plan indicated that the basic inner join would be 3 times slower than the nested sub-queries, however when actually running the query, the basic inner join was twice as fast as the nested queries, The basic inner join took 297ms on very minimal server hardware.
What database are you using, and what times are you seeing? I'm thinking if you are seeing poor performance then it is probably an index problem.
One key thing to remember that message.max.bytes
attribute must be in sync with the consumer's fetch.message.max.bytes
property. the fetch size must be at least as large as the maximum message size otherwise there could be situation where producers can send messages larger than the consumer can consume/fetch. It might worth taking a look at it.
Which version of Kafka you are using? Also provide some more details trace that you are getting. is there some thing like ... payload size of xxxx larger

Eric B’s answer is OK if you want to preserve just one or maybe two columns from the existing row. If you want to preserve a lot of columns, it gets too cumbersome fast.
Here’s an approach that will scale well to any amount of columns on either side. To illustrate it I will assume the following schema:
CREATE TABLE page (
id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY,
name TEXT UNIQUE,
title TEXT,
content TEXT,
author INTEGER NOT NULL REFERENCES user (id),
ts TIMESTAMP DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
);
Note in particular that name
is the natural key of the row – id
is used only for foreign keys, so the point is for SQLite to pick the ID value itself when inserting a new row. But when updating an existing row based on its name
, I want it to continue to have the old ID value (obviously!).
I achieve a true UPSERT
with the following construct:
WITH new (name, title, author) AS ( VALUES('about', 'About this site', 42) )
INSERT OR REPLACE INTO page (id, name, title, content, author)
SELECT old.id, new.name, new.title, old.content, new.author
FROM new LEFT JOIN page AS old ON new.name = old.name;
The exact form of this query can vary a bit. The key is the use of INSERT SELECT
with a left outer join, to join an existing row to the new values.
Here, if a row did not previously exist, old.id
will be NULL
and SQLite will then assign an ID automatically, but if there already was such a row, old.id
will have an actual value and this will be reused. Which is exactly what I wanted.
In fact this is very flexible. Note how the ts
column is completely missing on all sides – because it has a DEFAULT
value, SQLite will just do the right thing in any case, so I don’t have to take care of it myself.
You can also include a column on both the new
and old
sides and then use e.g. COALESCE(new.content, old.content)
in the outer SELECT
to say “insert the new content if there was any, otherwise keep the old content” – e.g. if you are using a fixed query and are binding the new values with placeholders.
What you are saying is in conflict with what it says in the MSDN library at this location:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.runtime.serialization.datacontractserializer.aspx

Just in case if anyone is interested in labeling horizontal barplot graph, I modified Sharon's answer as below:
def show_values_on_bars(axs, h_v="v", space=0.4):
def _show_on_single_plot(ax):
if h_v == "v":
for p in ax.patches:
_x = p.get_x() + p.get_width() / 2
_y = p.get_y() + p.get_height()
value = int(p.get_height())
ax.text(_x, _y, value, ha="center")
elif h_v == "h":
for p in ax.patches:
_x = p.get_x() + p.get_width() + float(space)
_y = p.get_y() + p.get_height()
value = int(p.get_width())
ax.text(_x, _y, value, ha="left")
if isinstance(axs, np.ndarray):
for idx, ax in np.ndenumerate(axs):
_show_on_single_plot(ax)
else:
_show_on_single_plot(axs)
Two parameters explained:
h_v
- Whether the barplot is horizontal or vertical. "h"
represents the horizontal barplot, "v"
represents the vertical barplot.
space
- The space between value text and the top edge of the bar. Only works for horizontal mode.
Example:
show_values_on_bars(sns_t, "h", 0.3)
this is one of the ways you can use this function, it is when you want access a variable of another class and change the output based on that variable.
override func prepare(for segue: UIStoryboardSegue, sender: Any?) {
let something = segue.destination as! someViewController
something.aVariable = anotherVariable
}

orI was also getting the same error then, i realised that the issue was with the .add(R.id.CONTAINERNAME) So basically i had giving the id = CONTAINERNAME in wrong xml .. So the solution is to first check that you have given the id = CONTAINERNAME in the xml where you want the fragment to be displayed .. Also note that I was trying to call the fragment form an activity.. I hope so thing small mistake will solve the issue

Several ways to achieve this. Examples are as below
a. return "22".toInteger()
b. if("22".isInteger()) return "22".toInteger()
c. return "22" as Integer()
d. return Integer.parseInt("22")
Hope this helps
Using a subshell substitution to parse the words undoes all the work you are doing to put spaces together.
Try instead:
cat CSV_file | sed -n 1'p' | tr ',' '\n' | while read word; do
echo $word
done
That also increases parallelism. Using a subshell as in your question forces the entire subshell process to finish before you can start iterating over the answers. Piping to a subshell (as in my answer) lets them work in parallel. This matters only if you have many lines in the file, of course.
You might need to clarify a bit. What are you really trying to accomplish? If you really want to find out the column names that only contain null values, then you will have to loop through the scheama and do a dynamic query based on that.
I don't know which DBMS you are using, so I'll put some pseudo-code here.
for each col
begin
@cmd = 'if not exists (select * from tablename where ' + col + ' is not null begin print ' + col + ' end'
exec(@cmd)
end
What you have from the server is a string like below:
var data = '[{"id":"197","category":"Damskie"},{"id":"198","category":"M\u0119skie"}]';
Then you can use JSON.parse
function to change it to an object. Then you access the category like below:
var dataObj = JSON.parse(data);
console.log(dataObj[0].category); //will return Damskie
console.log(dataObj[1].category); //will return Meskie
It's probably not anywhere approaching a best practice, but I usually call a SIZE
on the collection to load the children in the same transaction, like you have suggested. It's clean, immune to any changes in the structure of the child elements, and yields SQL with low overhead.
I had a similar situation where I needed to copy from one domain to another on the same server, Here is exactly what worked in my case, you can as well adjust to suit yours:
foreach(glob('../folder/*.php') as $file) {
$adjust = substr($file,3);
copy($file, '/home/user/abcde.com/'.$adjust);
Notice the use of "substr()", without it, the destination becomes '/home/user/abcde.com/../folder/', which might be something you don't want. So, I used substr() to eliminate the first 3 characters(../) in order to get the desired destination which is '/home/user/abcde.com/folder/'. So, you can adjust the substr() function and also the glob() function until it fits your personal needs. Hope this helps.
Here's a way that I consider easier: The general idea is that you want to append a text element to a circle element then play around with its "dx" and "dy" attributes until you position the text at the point in the circle that you like. In my example, I used a negative number for the dx since I wanted to have text start towards the left of the centre.
const nodes = [ {id: ABC, group: 1, level: 1}, {id:XYZ, group: 2, level: 1}, ]
const nodeElems = svg.append('g')
.selectAll('circle')
.data(nodes)
.enter().append('circle')
.attr('r',radius)
.attr('fill', getNodeColor)
const textElems = svg.append('g')
.selectAll('text')
.data(nodes)
.enter().append('text')
.text(node => node.label)
.attr('font-size',8)//font size
.attr('dx', -10)//positions text towards the left of the center of the circle
.attr('dy',4)
I also had this problem recently, and it was the SELinux which caused it. I was trying to have the post-commit of subversion to notify Jenkins that the code has change so Jenkins would do a build and deploy to Nexus.
I had to do the following to get it to work.
1) First I checked if SELinux is enabled:
less /selinux/enforce
This will output 1 (for on) or 0 (for off)
2) Temporary disable SELinux:
echo 0 > /selinux/enforce
Now test see if it works now.
3) Enable SELinux:
echo 1 > /selinux/enforce
Change the policy for SELinux.
4) First view the current configuration:
/usr/sbin/getsebool -a | grep httpd
This will give you: httpd_can_network_connect --> off
5) Set this to on and your post-commit will work with SELinux:
/usr/sbin/setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect on
Now it should be working again.
I had the same problem in masked edit box control that was used for Date and the error was due to Date format property in Region settings of windows. Changed "M/d/yyyy" to "dd/MM/yyyy" and everything worked out.

During the install of python make sure you have "Install for all users" selected. Uninstall python and do a custom install and check "Install for all users".
Just do it with a simple filestream.
var sr1 = new FileStream(FilePath, FileMode.Create);
sr1.Write(_UploadFile.File, 0, _UploadFile.File.Length);
sr1.Close();
sr1.Dispose();
_UploadFile.File is a byte[], and in the FilePath you get to specify the file extention.
I don't know whether a direct way of doing this is available or not, but you surely there is a workaround via code: listen for onFocus event of EditText
, and as soon it gains focus, set the hint to be nothing with something like editText.setHint("")
:
This may not be exactly what you have to do, but it may be something like this-
myEditText.setOnFocusListener(new OnFocusListener(){
public void onFocus(){
myEditText.setHint("");
}
});
In my case, the error was being shown because when I was reading my JSON file using Jackson library, my JSON file contained only 1 object. Hence it started with "{" and ended with "}". But while reading it and storing it in a variable, I was storing it in an Array object (As in my case, there could be more than 1 object).
Hence, I added "[" in the start and "]" in the end of my JSON file to convert it into an array of object and it worked perfectly fine without any error.

Have the.htaccess file in the application root directory, along with the index.php file. (Check if the htaccess extension is correct , Bz htaccess.txt did not work for me.)
And Add the following rules to .htaccess file,
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]
Then find the following line in your application/config/config.php file
$config['index_page'] = 'index.php';
Set the variable empty as below.
$config['index_page'] = '';
That's it, it worked for me.
If it doesn't work further try to replace following variable with these parameters ('AUTO', 'PATH_INFO', 'QUERY_STRING', 'REQUEST_URI', and 'ORIG_PATH_INFO') one by one
$config['uri_protocol'] = 'AUTO';
Using a void * means that the function can take a pointer that doesn't need to be a specific type. For example, in socket functions, you have
send(void * pData, int nLength)
this means you can call it in many ways, for example
char * data = "blah";
send(data, strlen(data));
POINT p;
p.x = 1;
p.y = 2;
send(&p, sizeof(POINT));
Use the property table-layout:fixed;
on the table to get equally spaced cells. If a column has a width set, then no matter what the content is, it will be the specified width. Columns without a width set will divide whatever room is left over among themselves.
<table style='table-layout:fixed;'>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>gobble de gook</td>
<td>mibs</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Just to throw it out there, you could also use <colgroup><col span='#' style='width:#%;'/></colgroup>
, which doesn't require repetition of style per table data or giving the table an id to use in a style sheet. I think setting the widths on the first row is enough though.
The magic number comes from UNIX-type systems where the first few bytes of a file held a marker indicating the file type.
This error indicates you are trying to load a non-valid file type into R. For some reason, R no longer recognizes this file as an R workspace file.
It can be done by simply declaring one function which will handle all your swipe UISwipeGestureRecognizer directions. Here is my code:
let swipeGestureRight = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action:#selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)) )
swipeGestureRight.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.right
self.view .addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureRight)
let swipeGestureLeft = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureLeft.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.left
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureLeft)
let swipeGestureUp = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureUp.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.up
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureUp)
let swipeGestureDown = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureDown.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.down
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureDown)
Here is the function which will hande the swipedirection functionality:
func respondToSwipeGesture(_ sender: UIGestureRecognizer) {
if let swipeGesture = sender as? UISwipeGestureRecognizer {
switch swipeGesture.direction {
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.right:
print("right swipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.left:
print("leftSwipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.up:
print("upSwipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.down:
print("downSwipe")
default:
break
}
}
}
The document looks fine to me but I suspect that it contains invisible characters. Open it in a hex editor to check that there really isn't anything before the very first "<". Make sure the spaces in the XML header are spaces. Maybe delete the space before "?>". Check which line breaks are used.
Make sure the document is proper UTF-8. Some windows editors save the document as UTF-16 (i.e. every second byte is 0).
From Wikipedia
The
stdlib.h
andstddef.h
header files define a datatype calledsize_t
1 which is used to represent the size of an object. Library functions that take sizes expect them to be of typesize_t
, and the sizeof operator evaluates tosize_t
.The actual type of
size_t
is platform-dependent; a common mistake is to assumesize_t
is the same as unsigned int, which can lead to programming errors,2 particularly as 64-bit architectures become more prevalent.
From C99 7.17.1/2
The following types and macros are defined in the standard header
stddef.h
<snip>
size_t
which is the unsigned integer type of the result of the sizeof operator

The .getTimezoneOffset()
method should work. This will get the time between your time zone and GMT. You can then calculate to whatever you want.
Microsoft explains it in the KB305703 article on How to start the default Internet browser programmatically by using Visual C#.

It's not working because console.log() it's not in a "executable area" of the class "App".
A class is a structure composed by attributes and methods.
The only way to have your code executed is to place it inside a method that is going to be executed. For instance: constructor()

The idea is to put svg pattern behind element and display only thin line of this pattern as element border.
Hmm, there are a few things going wrong here.
for f in os.listdir(src_dir):
os.path.join(src_dir, f)
You're not storing the result of join
. This should be something like:
for f in os.listdir(src_dir):
f = os.path.join(src_dir, f)
This open call is is the cause of your IOError
. (Because without storing the result of the join
above, f
was still just 'file.csv', not 'src_dir/file.csv'.)
Also, the syntax:
with open(f):
is close, but the syntax isn't quite right. It should be with open(file_name) as file_object:
. Then, you use to the file_object
to perform read or write operations.
And finally:
write(line)
You told python what you wanted to write, but not where to write it. Write is a method on the file object. Try file_object.write(line)
.
Edit: You're also clobbering your input file. You probably want to open
the output file and write lines to it as you're reading them in from the input file.
See: input / output in python.
In line with billjamesdev answer, here is another approach to validate an URL without using a RegEx:
From Apache Commons Validator lib, look at class UrlValidator. Some example code:
Construct a UrlValidator with valid schemes of "http", and "https".
String[] schemes = {"http","https"}.
UrlValidator urlValidator = new UrlValidator(schemes);
if (urlValidator.isValid("ftp://foo.bar.com/")) {
System.out.println("url is valid");
} else {
System.out.println("url is invalid");
}
prints "url is invalid"
If instead the default constructor is used.
UrlValidator urlValidator = new UrlValidator();
if (urlValidator.isValid("ftp://foo.bar.com/")) {
System.out.println("url is valid");
} else {
System.out.println("url is invalid");
}
prints out "url is valid"
Unfortunately, the cleanest solution is not the most extensible solution. In recent versions of Angular, it is suggested in the other answers that you can easily get the query params using the ActivatedRoute Injectible and specifically utilizing either the snapshot property:
this.route.snapshot.queryParamMap.get('param')
or the subscribe property (used in cases where the query string will update, e.g. navigating through user ids):
this.route.queryParamMap.subscribe(params => console.log(params));
I am here to tell you that these solutions have a gaping flaw that has not been resolved for some time: https://github.com/angular/angular/issues/12157
All in all, the only bullet proof solution is to use good old vanilla javascript. In this case, I created a service for URL manipulation:
import { Injectable } from '@angular/core';
import { IUrl } from './iurl';
@Injectable()
export class UrlService {
static parseQuery(url: string): IUrl {
const query = url.slice(url.indexOf('?')+1).split('&').reduce( (acc,query) => {
const parts = query.split('=');
acc[parts[0]] = parts[1];
return acc;
}, {});
return {
a: query['a'],
b: query['b'],
c: query['c'],
d: query['d'],
e: query['e']
}
}
}
Use these:
Then you will get the page you want (more options than the admin page) with privileges.
Where have you specified the mapping code (CreateMap)? Reference: Where do I configure AutoMapper?
If you're using the static Mapper method, configuration should only happen once per AppDomain. That means the best place to put the configuration code is in application startup, such as the Global.asax file for ASP.NET applications.
If the configuration isn't registered before calling the Map method, you will receive Missing type map configuration or unsupported mapping.
Well, why don't you store the current selected value, and when the selected item is changed you will have the old value stored? (and you can update it again as you wish)
The way you are using await/async is poor at best, and it makes it hard to follow. You are mixing await
with Task'1.Result
, which is just confusing. However, it looks like you are looking at a final task result, rather than the contents.
I've rewritten your function and function call, which should fix your issue:
async Task<string> GetResponseString(string text)
{
var httpClient = new HttpClient();
var parameters = new Dictionary<string, string>();
parameters["text"] = text;
var response = await httpClient.PostAsync(BaseUri, new FormUrlEncodedContent(parameters));
var contents = await response.Content.ReadAsStringAsync();
return contents;
}
And your final function call:
Task<string> result = GetResponseString(text);
var finalResult = result.Result;
Or even better:
var finalResult = await GetResponseString(text);
Control-C works, although depending on what the process is doing it might not take right away.
If you're on a unix based system, one thing I do is control-z to go back to the command line prompt and then issue a 'kill' to the process ID.
You can increase that in php.ini
; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
upload_max_filesize = 2M
Use atof()
or strtof()
* instead:
printf("float value : %4.8f\n" ,atof(s));
printf("float value : %4.8f\n" ,strtof(s, NULL));
http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/clibrary/cstdlib/atof/
http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/cstdlib/strtof/
atoll()
is meant for integers.atof()
/strtof()
is for floats.The reason why you only get 4.00
with atoll()
is because it stops parsing when it finds the first non-digit.
*Note that strtof()
requires C99 or C++11.
Try this:
dataTable.Columns["Marks"].ColumnName = "SubjectMarks";
you should declare label first use this :
Select Case parameter
Case "userID"
' does something here.
Case "packageID"
' does something here.
Case "mvrType"
If otherFactor Then
' does something here.
Else
GoTo else
End If
Case Else
else :
' does some processing...
Exit Select
End Select
I wrote an easy-to-use command line tool for listing images in various ways (like list all images, list all tags of those images, list all layers of those tags).
It also allows you to delete unused images in various ways, like delete only older tags of a single image or from all images etc. This is convenient when you are filling your registry from a CI server and want to keep only latest/stable versions.
It is written in python and does not need you to download bulky big custom registry images.
I wanted an "expand/collapse" container with a plus and minus button to open and close it. This uses the standard bootstrap event and has animation. This is BS3.
<button id="button" type="button" class="btn btn-primary"
data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#demo">
<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-collapse-down"></span> Show
</button>
<div id="demo" class="collapse">
<ol class="list-group">
<li class="list-group-item">Warrior</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Adventurer</li>
<li class="list-group-item">Mage</li>
</ol>
</div>
$(function(){
$('#demo').on('hide.bs.collapse', function () {
$('#button').html('<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-collapse-down"></span> Show');
})
$('#demo').on('show.bs.collapse', function () {
$('#button').html('<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-collapse-up"></span> Hide');
})
})
$("#first").val(); // this will give you value of selected element. i.e. 1,2,3.
From the context, the conflict was caused by the version of the package.
Let's take a look the manual about rpm
:
--force
Same as using --replacepkgs, --replacefiles, and --oldpackage.
--oldpackage
Allow an upgrade to replace a newer package with an older one.
So, you can execute the command rpm -Uvh info-4.13a-2.rpm --force
to solve your issue.
I've faced the same problem , but I found out that not all the configuration settings could be set using ini_set() function , check this Where a configuration setting may be set
int main() {
int sum = 0;
cout << "enter number" << endl;
int i = 0;
while (true) {
cin >> i;
sum += i;
//cout << i << endl;
if (cin.peek() == '\n') {
break;
}
}
cout << "result: " << sum << endl;
return 0;
}
I think this code works, you may enter any int numbers and spaces, it will calculate the sum of input ints
Following from Daniel Vassallo's answer, here is a version that deals with the closure issue in a simpler way.
Since since all markers will have an individual InfoWindow and since JavaScript doesn't care if you add extra properties to an object, all you need to do is add an InfoWindow to the Marker's properties and then call the .open()
on the InfoWindow from itself!
Edit: With enough data, the pageload could take a lot of time, so rather than construction the InfoWindow with the marker, the construction should happen only when needed. Note that any data used to construct the InfoWindow must be appended to the Marker as a property (data
). Also note that after the first click event, infoWindow
will persist as a property of it's marker so the browser doesn't need to constantly reconstruct.

Based on Derek's answer, I verified that
document.getElementById('testTarget')
.dispatchEvent(new MouseEvent('click', {shiftKey: true}))
works as expected even with key modifiers. And this is not a deprecated API, as far as I can see. You can verify on this page as well.
Good article here: Cross-domain communication with iframes
Also you can directly set document.domain the same in both frames (even
document.domain = document.domain;
code has sense because resets port to null), but this trick is not general-purpose.
I had the same problem once this is how I solved it.
Suppose I want 12 delays with an interval of 2 secs
function animate(i){
myVar=setTimeout(function(){
alert(i);
if(i==12){
clearTimeout(myVar);
return;
}
animate(i+1)
},2000)
}
var i=1; //i is the start point 1 to 12 that is
animate(i); //1,2,3,4..12 will be alerted with 2 sec delay
Here I've collected the "good ones" from this page and put them into a simple test pattern for you to evaluate on your own.
For newbies, the console.log
is a built in function (available in all modern browsers) that lets you output results to the JavaScript console (dig around, you'll find it) rather than having to output to your HTML page.
var isNumeric = function(val){
// --------------------------
// Recommended
// --------------------------
// jQuery - works rather well
// See CMS's unit test also: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/35146/js/tests/isNumber.html
return !isNaN(parseFloat(val)) && isFinite(val);
// Aquatic - good and fast, fails the "0x89f" test, but that test is questionable.
//return parseFloat(val)==val;
// --------------------------
// Other quirky options
// --------------------------
// Fails on "", null, newline, tab negative.
//return !isNaN(val);
// user532188 - fails on "0x89f"
//var n2 = val;
//val = parseFloat(val);
//return (val!='NaN' && n2==val);
// Rafael - fails on negative + decimal numbers, may be good for isInt()?
// return ( val % 1 == 0 ) ? true : false;
// pottedmeat - good, but fails on stringy numbers, which may be a good thing for some folks?
//return /^-?(0|[1-9]\d*|(?=\.))(\.\d+)?$/.test(val);
// Haren - passes all
// borrowed from http://www.codetoad.com/javascript/isnumeric.asp
//var RE = /^-{0,1}\d*\.{0,1}\d+$/;
//return RE.test(val);
// YUI - good for strict adherance to number type. Doesn't let stringy numbers through.
//return typeof val === 'number' && isFinite(val);
// user189277 - fails on "" and "\n"
//return ( val >=0 || val < 0);
}
var tests = [0, 1, "0", 0x0, 0x000, "0000", "0x89f", 8e5, 0x23, -0, 0.0, "1.0", 1.0, -1.5, 0.42, '075', "01", '-01', "0.", ".0", "a", "a2", true, false, "#000", '1.2.3', '#abcdef', '', "", "\n", "\t", '-', null, undefined];
for (var i=0; i<tests.length; i++){
console.log( "test " + i + ": " + tests[i] + " \t " + isNumeric(tests[i]) );
}
I think you should use a Set
to hold the files if you want to do intersection and union on them. Then you can use Guava's Sets class to do union
, intersection
and filtering by a Predicate
as well. The difference between these methods and the other suggestions is that all of these methods create lazy views of the union, intersection, etc. of the two sets. Apache Commons creates a new collection and copies data to it. retainAll
changes one of your collections by removing elements from it.
Note: this answer was originally written with regard to older versions of SourceTree for Windows, and is now out-of-date.
See my new answer for the current version of SourceTree for Windows, 1.5.2.0. I'm leaving this answer behind for historical purposes.
as I'm on Windows I don't have a command line tool nor do I know how to use one :( Is it the only way to get that sorted out? The GUI doesn't cover all the git's functions? — Original Poster
Regarding Git GUIs, no, they don't cover all of Git's functions. They don't even come close. I suggest you check out one of the answers in How do I edit an incorrect commit message in Git?, Git is flexible enough that there are multiple solutions...from the command line.
SourceTree might actually come with the msysgit bash shell already, or it might be able to use the standard Windows command shell. Either way, you open it up form SourceTree by clicking the Terminal button:
You set which terminal SourceTree uses (bash or Windows) here:
That being said, here's one way you can do it in SourceTree. Since you mentioned in the comments that you don't mind "reverting back to the faulty commit" (by which I assume you actually mean resetting, which is a different operation in Git), then here are the steps:
Reset current branch to this commit
, and selecting the hard reset option from the drop down. Regarding this comment:
if it's not possible because it's already pushed to Bitbucket, I would not mind creating a new repository and starting over.
Does this mean that you're the only person working on the repo? This is important because it's not trivial to change the history of a repo (like by amending a commit) without causing problems for your collaborators. However, assuming that you're the only person working on the repo, then the next thing you would want to do is force push your changed history to the remote.
Be aware, though, that because you did a hard reset to the faulty commit, then force pushing causes you to lose all work that come after it previously. If that's okay, then you might need to use the following command at the command line to do the force push, because I couldn't find an option to do it in SourceTree:
git push remote-repo head -f
This also assumes that BitBucket will allow you to force push to a repo.
You should really learn how to use Git from the command line anyways though, it'll make you more proficient in Git. #ProTip, use msysgit and turn on Quick Edit mode on in the terminal properties, so that you can double click to highlight a line of text, right click to copy, and right click again to paste. It's pretty quick.
You can use the following code to get the value of the first column of the selected row of your table.
int column = 0;
int row = table.getSelectedRow();
String value = table.getModel().getValueAt(row, column).toString();
The straight answer was already given: Use !!
.
However newbies often tend to overuse this operator, which is expensive in Haskell (because you work on single linked lists, not on arrays). There are several useful techniques to avoid this, the easiest one is using zip. If you write zip ["foo","bar","baz"] [0..]
, you get a new list with the indices "attached" to each element in a pair: [("foo",0),("bar",1),("baz",2)]
, which is often exactly what you need.
Another solution is to use output buffering, you can collect everything that is being outputted/echoed and store it in a variable.
<?php
ob_start();
?>line1
line2
line3<?php
$xml = ob_get_clean();
Please note that output buffering might not be the best solution in terms of performance and code cleanliness for this exact case but worth leaving it here for reference.

Here is directive from the official examples angular docs v1.5 that shows how to compile html:
.directive('compileHtml', function ($compile) {
return function (scope, element, attrs) {
scope.$watch(
function(scope) {
return scope.$eval(attrs.compileHtml);
},
function(value) {
element.html(value);
$compile(element.contents())(scope);
}
);
};
});
Usage:
<div compile-html="item.htmlString"></div>
It will insert item.htmlString property as html any place, like
<li ng-repeat="item in itemList">
<div compile-html="item.htmlString"></div>
You should, as a rule, leave timestamps in the database in GMT, and only convert them to/from local time on input/output, when you can convert them to the user's (not server's) local timestamp.
It would be nice if you could do the following:
SELECT DATETIME(col, 'PDT')
...to output the timestamp for a user on Pacific Daylight Time. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. According to this SQLite tutorial, however (scroll down to "Other Date and Time Commands"), you can ask for the time, and then apply an offset (in hours) at the same time. So, if you do know the user's timezone offset, you're good.
Doesn't deal with daylight saving rules, though...
here is the full program to make a POST rest call using spring's RestTemplate.
import java.util.HashMap;
import java.util.Map;
import org.springframework.http.HttpEntity;
import org.springframework.http.ResponseEntity;
import org.springframework.util.LinkedMultiValueMap;
import org.springframework.util.MultiValueMap;
import org.springframework.web.client.RestTemplate;
import com.ituple.common.dto.ServiceResponse;
public class PostRequestMain {
public static void main(String[] args) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
MultiValueMap<String, String> headers = new LinkedMultiValueMap<String, String>();
Map map = new HashMap<String, String>();
map.put("Content-Type", "application/json");
headers.setAll(map);
Map req_payload = new HashMap();
req_payload.put("name", "piyush");
HttpEntity<?> request = new HttpEntity<>(req_payload, headers);
String url = "http://localhost:8080/xxx/xxx/";
ResponseEntity<?> response = new RestTemplate().postForEntity(url, request, String.class);
ServiceResponse entityResponse = (ServiceResponse) response.getBody();
System.out.println(entityResponse.getData());
}
}
How about adding the style directly to the table itself? This is instead of using table
in your CSS, which is a BAD approach if you have multiple tables on your page:
<table style="border-collapse: separate;border-spacing: 2px;">
<tr>
<td style="padding: 4px 4px;">Some Text</td>
</tr>
</table>
What does the UDF EntityHasProfile() do?
Typically you could do something like this with a LEFT JOIN:
SELECT EntityId, EntityName, CASE WHEN EntityProfileIs IS NULL THEN 0 ELSE 1 END AS Has Profile
FROM Entities
LEFT JOIN EntityProfiles
ON EntityProfiles.EntityId = Entities.EntityId
This should eliminate a need for a costly scalar UDF call - in my experience, scalar UDFs should be a last resort for most database design problems in SQL Server - they are simply not good performers.
You may try to use the following form:
select * from table1 where ID in (1,2,3,4,...,1000)
union all
select * from table1 where ID in (1001,1002,...)
If you only want to download the bucket from AWS, first install the AWS CLI in your machine. In terminal change the directory to where you want to download the files and run this command.
aws s3 sync s3://bucket-name .
If you also want to sync the both local and s3 directories (in case you added some files in local folder), run this command:
aws s3 sync . s3://bucket-name
You can copy your .classpath
and .project
files to the root of the new project directory and then choose 'Import...' from the file menu, and select 'General/Existing Projects into Workspace.' In the resulting dialog, locate the root of the new project directory and finish. Make sure that you have deleted the old project from the work space before importing.
The scope of a variable is always the block it is inside. For example if you do something like
if(...)
{
int y = 5; //y is created
} //y leaves scope, since the block ends.
else
{
int y = 8; //y is created
} //y leaves scope, since the block ends.
cout << y << endl; //Gives error since y is not defined.
The solution is to define y outside of the if blocks
int y; //y is created
if(...)
{
y = 5;
}
else
{
y = 8;
}
cout << y << endl; //Ok
In your program you have to move the definition of y and c out of the if blocks into the higher scope. Your Function then would look like this:
//Using the Gaussian algorithm
int dayofweek(int date, int month, int year )
{
int y, c;
int d=date;
if (month==1||month==2)
{
y=((year-1)%100);
c=(year-1)/100;
}
else
{
y=year%100;
c=year/100;
}
int m=(month+9)%12+1;
int product=(d+(2.6*m-0.2)+y+y/4+c/4-2*c);
return product%7;
}
butangDonload.php
$file = "Bang.png"; //Let say If I put the file name Bang.png
$_SESSION['name']=$file;
Try this,
<?php
$name=$_SESSION['name'];
download($name);
function download($name){
$file = $nama_fail;
?>
You need to use the .format()
function.
MM
- Month number
MMM
- Month word
var date = moment("2014-02-27T10:00:00").format('DD-MM-YYYY');
var dateMonthAsWord = moment("2014-02-27T10:00:00").format('DD-MMM-YYYY');
Using jQuery you can track the window resize and change the width of your canvas using jQuery as well.
Something like that
$( window ).resize(function() {_x000D_
$("#myCanvas").width($( window ).width())_x000D_
});
_x000D_
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>_x000D_
<canvas id="myCanvas" width="200" height="100" style="border:1px solid #000000;">
_x000D_

I found an easy way:
This worked for me:
public static void main(String[] s) {
Double d = Math.PI;
d = Double.parseDouble(String.format("%.3f", d)); // can be required precision
System.out.println(d);
}
I made good experiences with Scala.
I use the simple build tool (sbt: http://code.google.com/p/simple-build-tool/) with the Android-Plugin (http://github.com/jberkel/android-plugin)
I regularly work on the same file in 2 different positions. I solved this in Sublime Text 3 using origami and chain with some additional config.
My workflow is Ctrl + k + 2 splits the view of the file in two (horizontal) panes with the lower one active. Use Ctrl + k + o to toggle between the panes. When done ensure the lower pane is the active and press Ctrl + F4 to close the duplicated view and the pane.
In sublime global settings (not origami settings!) add
"origami_auto_close_empty_panes": true,
Add the following shortcuts
{ "keys": ["ctrl+k", "2"],
"command": "chain",
"args": {
"commands": [
["create_pane", {"direction": "down"}],
["clone_file_to_pane", {"direction": "down"}],
],
}
},
{ "keys": ["ctrl+k", "o"], "command": "focus_neighboring_group" },
Use the Bit
datatype. It has values 1 and 0 when dealing with it in native T-SQL
Spring's Web MVC framework is designed around a DispatcherServlet that dispatches requests to handlers, with configurable handler mappings, view resolution, locale and theme resolution as well as support for upload files. The default handler is a very simple Controller interface, just offering a ModelAndView handleRequest(request,response) method. This can already be used for application controllers, but you will prefer the included implementation hierarchy, consisting of, for example AbstractController, AbstractCommandController and SimpleFormController. Application controllers will typically be subclasses of those. Note that you can choose an appropriate base class: if you don't have a form, you don't need a form controller. This is a major difference to Struts
You can groupby
on cols 'A' and 'B' and call size
and then reset_index
and rename
the generated column:
In [26]:
df1.groupby(['A','B']).size().reset_index().rename(columns={0:'count'})
Out[26]:
A B count
0 no no 1
1 no yes 2
2 yes no 4
3 yes yes 3
update
A little explanation, by grouping on the 2 columns, this groups rows where A and B values are the same, we call size
which returns the number of unique groups:
In[202]:
df1.groupby(['A','B']).size()
Out[202]:
A B
no no 1
yes 2
yes no 4
yes 3
dtype: int64
So now to restore the grouped columns, we call reset_index
:
In[203]:
df1.groupby(['A','B']).size().reset_index()
Out[203]:
A B 0
0 no no 1
1 no yes 2
2 yes no 4
3 yes yes 3
This restores the indices but the size aggregation is turned into a generated column 0
, so we have to rename this:
In[204]:
df1.groupby(['A','B']).size().reset_index().rename(columns={0:'count'})
Out[204]:
A B count
0 no no 1
1 no yes 2
2 yes no 4
3 yes yes 3
groupby
does accept the arg as_index
which we could have set to False
so it doesn't make the grouped columns the index, but this generates a series
and you'd still have to restore the indices and so on....:
In[205]:
df1.groupby(['A','B'], as_index=False).size()
Out[205]:
A B
no no 1
yes 2
yes no 4
yes 3
dtype: int64
Use Reflection:
Type type = obj.GetType();
PropertyInfo[] properties = type.GetProperties();
foreach (PropertyInfo property in properties)
{
Console.WriteLine("Name: " + property.Name + ", Value: " + property.GetValue(obj, null));
}
for Excel - what tools/reference item must be added to gain access to BindingFlags, as there is no "System.Reflection" entry in the list
Edit: You can also specify a BindingFlags value to type.GetProperties()
:
BindingFlags flags = BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.Instance;
PropertyInfo[] properties = type.GetProperties(flags);
That will restrict the returned properties to public instance properties (excluding static properties, protected properties, etc).
You don't need to specify BindingFlags.GetProperty
, you use that when calling type.InvokeMember()
to get the value of a property.
very clean way for postgres is using the postgres-array ("{}"):
$ids = array(1,4,7,9,45);
$param = "{".implode(', ',$ids)."}";
$cmd = $db->prepare("SELECT * FROM table WHERE id = ANY (?)");
$result = $cmd->execute(array($param));
I think I got it. It's:
"SVN Client Path" /command:update / path:"My folder path"
./gradlew
Your directory with gradlew is not included in the PATH, so you must specify path to the gradlew. .
means "current directory".
No, you don't need to add them as a remote. That would be clumbersome and a pain to do each time.
git fetch [email protected]:theirusername/reponame.git theirbranch:ournameforbranch
This creates a local branch named ournameforbranch
which is exactly the same as what theirbranch
was for them. For the question example, the last argument would be foo:foo
.
Note :ournameforbranch
part can be further left off if thinking up a name that doesn't conflict with one of your own branches is bothersome. In that case, a reference called FETCH_HEAD
is available. You can git log FETCH_HEAD
to see their commits then do things like cherry-picked
to cherry pick their commits.
Oftentimes, you want to fix something of theirs and push it right back. That's possible too:
git fetch [email protected]:theirusername/reponame.git theirbranch
git checkout FETCH_HEAD
# fix fix fix
git push [email protected]:theirusername/reponame.git HEAD:theirbranch
If working in detached state worries you, by all means create a branch using :ournameforbranch
and replace FETCH_HEAD
and HEAD
above with ournameforbranch
.
You can just add the DISTINCT(ip)
, but it has to come at the start of the query. Be sure to escape PHP variables that go into the SQL string.
SELECT DISTINCT(ip), name, COUNT(name) nameCnt,
time, price, SUM(price) priceSum
FROM tablename
WHERE time >= $yesterday AND time <$today
GROUP BY ip, name
I have used Netbeans for java, and it works great. Not sure how it works with C++, though.
In JavaScript Arrays and Objects are actually very similar, although on the outside they can look a bit different.
For an array:
var array = [];
array[0] = "hello";
array[1] = 5498;
array[536] = new Date();
As you can see arrays in JavaScript can be sparse (valid indicies don't have to be consecutive) and they can contain any type of variable! That's pretty convenient.
But as we all know JavaScript is strange, so here are some weird bits:
array["0"] === "hello"; // This is true
array["hi"]; // undefined
array["hi"] = "weird"; // works but does not save any data to array
array["hi"]; // still undefined!
This is because everything in JavaScript is an Object (which is why you can also create an array using new Array()
). As a result every index in an array is turned into a string and then stored in an object, so an array is just an object that doesn't allow anyone to store anything with a key that isn't a positive integer.
So what are Objects?
Objects in JavaScript are just like arrays but the "index" can be any string.
var object = {};
object[0] = "hello"; // OK
object["hi"] = "not weird"; // OK
You can even opt to not use the square brackets when working with objects!
console.log(object.hi); // Prints 'not weird'
object.hi = "overwriting 'not weird'";
You can go even further and define objects like so:
var newObject = {
a: 2,
};
newObject.a === 2; // true
You never created an instance.
You've defined average as an instance method, thus, in order to use average you need to create an instance first.
Should also be able to do this:
total += eval(myInt1) + eval(myInt2) + eval(myInt3);
This helped me in a different, but similar, situation.
NSUnderlineStyleAttributeName which takes an NSNumber (where 0 is no underline) can be added to an attribute dictionary. I don't know if this is any easier. But, it was easier for my purposes.
NSDictionary *attributes;
attributes = @{NSFontAttributeName:font, NSParagraphStyleAttributeName: style, NSUnderlineStyleAttributeName:[NSNumber numberWithInteger:1]};
[text drawInRect:CGRectMake(self.contentRect.origin.x, currentY, maximumSize.width, textRect.size.height) withAttributes:attributes];
If you have ReSharper installed clicking Shift+Alt+L will move focus to the current file in Solution Explorer.
Active Item Tracking will also need to be enabled as described in the accepted answer
Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->Track Active Item in Solution Explorer
I think I made a faster byte array to string convertor:
public static class HexTable
{
private static readonly string[] table = BitConverter.ToString(Enumerable.Range(0, 256).Select(x => (byte)x).ToArray()).Split('-');
public static string ToHexTable(byte[] value)
{
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(2 * value.Length);
for (int i = 0; i < value.Length; i++)
sb.Append(table[value[i]]);
return sb.ToString();
}
And the test set up:
static void Main(string[] args)
{
const int TEST_COUNT = 10000;
const int BUFFER_LENGTH = 100000;
Random random = new Random();
Stopwatch sw = new Stopwatch();
Stopwatch sw2 = new Stopwatch();
byte[] buffer = new byte[BUFFER_LENGTH];
random.NextBytes(buffer);
sw.Start();
for (int j = 0; j < TEST_COUNT; j++)
HexTable.ToHexTable(buffer);
sw.Stop();
sw2.Start();
for (int j = 0; j < TEST_COUNT; j++)
ToHexChar.ToHex(buffer);
sw2.Stop();
Console.WriteLine("Hex Table Elapsed Milliseconds: {0}", sw.ElapsedMilliseconds);
Console.WriteLine("ToHex Elapsed Milliseconds: {0}", sw2.ElapsedMilliseconds);
}
The ToHexChar.ToHEx() method is the ToHex() method shown previously.
Results are as follows:
HexTable = 11808 ms ToHEx = 12168ms
It may not look that much of a difference, but it's still faster :)
