I just want to add my solution:
I use german umlauts like ö, ü, ä and got the same error.
@Jarek Zmudzinski just told you how it works, but here is mine:
Add this code to the top of your Controller: # encoding: UTF-8
(for example to use flash message with umlauts)
example of my Controller:
# encoding: UTF-8
class UserController < ApplicationController
Now you can use ö, ä ,ü, ß, "", etc.
However this seems inefficient to me, as the filter will scan the whole list
No it won't - it will "break" as soon as the first element satisfying the predicate is found. You can read more about laziness in the stream package javadoc, in particular (emphasis mine):
Many stream operations, such as filtering, mapping, or duplicate removal, can be implemented lazily, exposing opportunities for optimization. For example, "find the first String with three consecutive vowels" need not examine all the input strings. Stream operations are divided into intermediate (Stream-producing) operations and terminal (value- or side-effect-producing) operations. Intermediate operations are always lazy.
If using mentioned jquery mousewheel plugin, then what about to use the 2nd argument of event handler function - delta
:
$('#my-element').on('mousewheel', function(event, delta) {
if(delta > 0) {
console.log('scroll up');
}
else {
console.log('scroll down');
}
});
Although $date
is a part of MongoDB Extended JSON and that's what you get as default with mongoexport
I don't think you can really use it as a part of the query.
If try exact search with $date
like below:
db.foo.find({dt: {"$date": "2012-01-01T15:00:00.000Z"}})
you'll get error:
error: { "$err" : "invalid operator: $date", "code" : 10068 }
Try this:
db.mycollection.find({
"dt" : {"$gte": new Date("2013-10-01T00:00:00.000Z")}
})
or (following comments by @user3805045):
db.mycollection.find({
"dt" : {"$gte": ISODate("2013-10-01T00:00:00.000Z")}
})
ISODate
may be also required to compare dates without time (noted by @MattMolnar).
According to Data Types in the mongo Shell both should be equivalent:
The mongo shell provides various methods to return the date, either as a string or as a Date object:
- Date() method which returns the current date as a string.
- new Date() constructor which returns a Date object using the ISODate() wrapper.
- ISODate() constructor which returns a Date object using the ISODate() wrapper.
and using ISODate
should still return a Date object.
{"$date": "ISO-8601 string"}
can be used when strict JSON representation is required. One possible example is Hadoop connector.
In Bash 4 (as well as ZSH 4.3.11):
cmd &>>outfile
just out of box
Another method using a regular expression (this is more correct than Zachary's answer):
var string1 = 'someText',
string2 = 'SometexT',
regex = new RegExp('^' + string1 + '$', 'i');
if (regex.test(string2)) {
return true;
}
RegExp.test() will return true or false.
Also, adding the '^' (signifying the start of the string) to the beginning and '$' (signifying the end of the string) to the end make sure that your regular expression will match only if 'sometext' is the only text in stringToTest. If you're looking for text that contains the regular expression, it's ok to leave those off.
It might just be easier to use the string.toLowerCase() method.
So... regular expressions are powerful, but you should only use them if you understand how they work. Unexpected things can happen when you use something you don't understand.
There are tons of regular expression 'tutorials', but most appear to be trying to push a certain product. Here's what looks like a decent tutorial... granted, it's written for using php, but otherwise, it appears to be a nice beginner's tutorial: http://weblogtoolscollection.com/regex/regex.php
This appears to be a good tool to test regular expressions: http://gskinner.com/RegExr/
To do it the GUI way, you need to go edit your login. One of its properties is the default database used for that login. You can find the list of logins under the Logins node under the Security node. Then select your login and right-click and pick Properties. Change the default database and your life will be better!
Note that someone with sysadmin privs needs to be able to login to do this or to run the query from the previous post.
Addressing the first question, if you need to take several rows grouped by certain criteria with the other column with max value you can do something like this:
var query =
from u1 in table
join u2 in (
from u in table
group u by u.GroupId into g
select new { GroupId = g.Key, MaxStatus = g.Max(x => x.Status) }
) on new { u1.GroupId, u1.Status } equals new { u2.GroupId, Status = u2.MaxStatus}
select u1;
You can use select DATE(time) from appointment_details
for date only
or
You can use select TIME(time) from appointment_details
for time only
you can use the function below
SELECT TRUNC(14.568,2);
the result will show :
14.56
you can also cast your variable to the desire type :
SELECT TRUNC(YOUR_VAR::numeric,2)
It don't create normally; you need to add it by yourself.
After adding Global.asax
by
You need to add a class
Inherit the newly generated by System.Web.HttpApplication
and copy all the method created Global.asax
to Global.cs
and also add an inherit attribute to the Global.asax file.
Your Global.asax will look like this: -
<%@ Application Language="C#" Inherits="Global" %>
Your Global.cs in App_Code
will look like this: -
public class Global : System.Web.HttpApplication
{
public Global()
{
//
// TODO: Add constructor logic here
//
}
void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// Code that runs on application startup
}
/// Many other events like begin request...e.t.c, e.t.c
}
I just came across the same problem where I needed to wait for all the threads which were created using the for loop.I just tried out the following piece of code.It may not be the perfect solution but I thought it would be a simple solution to test:
for t in threading.enumerate():
try:
t.join()
except RuntimeError as err:
if 'cannot join current thread' in err:
continue
else:
raise
This is all you need:
background-repeat: no-repeat;
Here is a little hack that we ran across while fixing some redraw issues on a large app.
Use -webkit-transform: translateZ(0);
on the parent. Of course this is specific to Chrome.
http://jsfiddle.net/senica/bCQEa/
-webkit-transform: translateZ(0);
$(document).ready(function () {
$("#divId").toggleClass('cssclassname'); // toggle class
});
**OR**
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#objectId").click(function() { // click or other event to change the div class
$("#divId").toggleClass("cssclassname"); // toggle class
)};
)};
Windows 7 requires that you intentionally ask for certain privileges so that a malicious program can't do bad things to you. If the free calculator you downloaded needed to be run as an administrator, you would know something is up. There are OS commands to elevate the privilege of your application (which will request confirmation from the user).
A good description can be found at:
@Ignatius most excellent answer, updated to work with v2.0.7 of MarkerClustererPlus.
Add a prototype click method in the MarkerClusterer class, like so - we will override this later in the map initialize() function:
// BEGIN MODIFICATION (around line 715)
MarkerClusterer.prototype.onClick = function() {
return true;
};
// END MODIFICATION
In the ClusterIcon class, add the following code AFTER the click/clusterclick trigger:
// EXISTING CODE (around line 143)
google.maps.event.trigger(mc, "click", cClusterIcon.cluster_);
google.maps.event.trigger(mc, "clusterclick", cClusterIcon.cluster_); // deprecated name
// BEGIN MODIFICATION
var zoom = mc.getMap().getZoom();
// Trying to pull this dynamically made the more zoomed in clusters not render
// when then kind of made this useless. -NNC @ BNB
// var maxZoom = mc.getMaxZoom();
var maxZoom = 15;
// if we have reached the maxZoom and there is more than 1 marker in this cluster
// use our onClick method to popup a list of options
if (zoom >= maxZoom && cClusterIcon.cluster_.markers_.length > 1) {
return mc.onClick(cClusterIcon);
}
// END MODIFICATION
Then, in your initialize() function where you initialize the map and declare your MarkerClusterer object:
markerCluster = new MarkerClusterer(map, markers);
// onClick OVERRIDE
markerCluster.onClick = function(clickedClusterIcon) {
return multiChoice(clickedClusterIcon.cluster_);
}
Where multiChoice() is YOUR (yet to be written) function to popup an InfoWindow with a list of options to select from. Note that the markerClusterer object is passed to your function, because you will need this to determine how many markers there are in that cluster. For example:
function multiChoice(clickedCluster) {
if (clickedCluster.getMarkers().length > 1)
{
// var markers = clickedCluster.getMarkers();
// do something creative!
return false;
}
return true;
};
I had a very similar problem with davfs. In the man page of umount.davfs
, I found that the -f -l -n -r -v
options are ignored by umount.davfs
. To force-unmount my davfs mount, I had to use umount -i -f -l /media/davmount
.
This turned out to be a very useful thread.
For those who are allergic to curly braces, here is the VB.NET version of Lucas' and Crake's answers:

When I posted this question the version of JQuery that I was using didn't include an isArray
function. If it had have I would have probably just used it trusting that implementation to be the best browser independant way to perform this particular type check.
Since JQuery now does offer this function, I would always use it...
$.isArray(obj);
(as of version 1.6.2) It is still implemented using comparisons on strings in the form
toString.call(obj) === "[object Array]"
Some of the code looks a bit complex to me. This is very simple code to select only the used rows in two discontiguous columns D and H. It presumes the columns are of unequal length and thus more flexible vs if the columns were of equal length.
As you most likely surmised 4=column D and 8=column H
Dim dlastRow As Long
Dim hlastRow As Long
dlastRow = ActiveSheet.Cells(Rows.Count, 4).End(xlUp).Row
hlastRow = ActiveSheet.Cells(Rows.Count, 8).End(xlUp).Row
Range("D2:D" & dlastRow & ",H2:H" & hlastRow).Select
Hope you find useful - DON'T FORGET THAT COMMA BEFORE THE SECOND COLUMN, AS I DID, OR IT WILL BOMB!!
I'd just add that you don't need to implement a controller method for that as you can use the view-controller tag (Spring 3) in the servlet configuration file:
<mvc:view-controller path="/" view-name="/WEB-INF/jsp/index.html"/>
If your are using HTML5 then try following code snippet
<img id="uploadPreview" style="width: 100px; height: 100px;" />
<input id="uploadImage" type="file" name="myPhoto" onchange="PreviewImage();" />
<script type="text/javascript">
function PreviewImage() {
var oFReader = new FileReader();
oFReader.readAsDataURL(document.getElementById("uploadImage").files[0]);
oFReader.onload = function (oFREvent) {
document.getElementById("uploadPreview").src = oFREvent.target.result;
};
};
</script>
Also removing the submodule and then running git submodule init
and git submodule update
will obviously do the trick, but may not always be appropriate or possible.
Make sure you click the properties on the file and set it to "copy always" or it will not be in the Debug\ folder with your happy lil dll's to configure where it needs to be and add more cowbell
You might set location
directly because it's slightly shorter. If you're trying to be terse, you can usually omit the window.
too.
URL assignments to both location.href
and location
are defined to work in JavaScript 1.0, back in Netscape 2, and have been implemented in every browser since. So take your pick and use whichever you find clearest.
The easiest answer: jQuery. Do something like this:
$(document).ready(function(){
var $form = $('form');
$form.submit(function(){
$.post($(this).attr('action'), $(this).serialize(), function(response){
// do something here on success
},'json');
return false;
});
});
If you want to add content dynamically and still need it to work, and also with more than one form, you can do this:
$('form').live('submit', function(){
$.post($(this).attr('action'), $(this).serialize(), function(response){
// do something here on success
},'json');
return false;
});
For .Net core i had many problems using SSH.net and also its deprecated. I tried a few other libraries, even for other programming languages. But i found a very good alternative. https://stackoverflow.com/a/64443701/8529170
what you're looking for is SUBSTITUTE:
=SUBSTITUTE(A2,"Author","Authoring")
Will substitute Author for Authoring without messing with everything else
Why don't you simply use the MouseDown-Event of the text box? It works fine for me and doesn't need an additional boolean. Very clean and simple, eg.:
private void textbox_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) {
if (textbox != null && !string.IsNullOrEmpty(textbox.Text))
{
textbox.SelectAll();
} }
I think I found another solution to this question.
Go to Project > Properties > Java Build Path > tab [Order and Export] > Tick Android Version Checkbox Then if your workspace does not build automatically…
Properties again > Build Project
This is the only solution that worked for me:
var app = angular.module('plunker', ['ngSanitize']);
app.controller('MainCtrl', function($scope, $sce) {
$scope.trustSrc = function(src) {
return $sce.trustAsResourceUrl(src);
}
$scope.movie = {src:"http://www.youtube.com/embed/Lx7ycjC8qjE", title:"Egghead.io AngularJS Binding"};
});
Then in an iframe:
<iframe class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="640" height="385"
ng-src="{{trustSrc(movie.src)}}" allowfullscreen frameborder="0">
</iframe>
Try rewriting your success handler to:
success : handleData
The success property of the ajax method only requires a reference to a function.
In your handleData function you can take up to 3 parameters:
object data
string textStatus
jqXHR jqXHR
The message is fairly self-explanatory; your working directory should not be the NumPy source directory when you invoke Python; NumPy should be installed and your working directory should be anything but the directory where it lives.
The short answer: no.
The long answer:
Fixed formats work better for HTML emails. In my experience you're best off pretending it's 1999 when it comes to HTML emails. Be explicit and use HTML attributes (width="650") where ever possible in your table definitions, not CSS (style="width:650px"). Use fixed widths, no percentages. A table width of 650 pixels wide is a safe bet. Use inline CSS to set text properties.
It's not a matter of what works in "HTML emails", but rather the plethora of email clients and their limited (and sometimes deliberately so in the case of Gmail, Hotmail etc) ability to render HTML.
The Visual Studio Build tools are a different download than the IDE. They appear to be a pretty small subset, and they're called Build Tools for Visual Studio 2019 (download).
You can use the GUI to do the installation, or you can script the installation of msbuild:
vs_buildtools.exe --add Microsoft.VisualStudio.Workload.MSBuildTools --quiet
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Workload.MSBuildTools is a "wrapper" ID for the three subcomponents you need:
You can find documentation about the other available CLI switches here.
The build tools installation is much quicker than the full IDE. In my test, it took 5-10 seconds. With --quiet
there is no progress indicator other than a brief cursor change. If the installation was successful, you should be able to see the build tools in %programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\BuildTools\MSBuild\Current\Bin
.
If you don't see them there, try running without --quiet
to see any error messages that may occur during installation.
I realize this is an older post, but thought this might be helpful to anyone wondering the same question:
While the previous answers are no doubt valid, there is a more simple reason for the distinction between textarea and input.
As mentioned previously, HTML is used to describe and give as much semantic structure to web content as possible, including input forms. A textarea may be used for input, however a textarea can also be marked as read only via the readonly attribute. The existence of such an attribute would not make any sense for an input type, and thus the distinction.
My problem was that my OS X (Mavericks) DNS service needed to be rebooted.
Use keydown
event to do it:
input: HTMLDivElement | null = null;
onKeyDown = (event: React.KeyboardEvent<HTMLDivElement>): void => {
// 'keypress' event misbehaves on mobile so we track 'Enter' key via 'keydown' event
if (event.key === 'Enter') {
event.preventDefault();
event.stopPropagation();
this.onSubmit();
}
}
onSubmit = (): void => {
if (input.textContent) {
this.props.onSubmit(input.textContent);
input.focus();
input.textContent = '';
}
}
render() {
return (
<form className="commentForm">
<input
className="comment-input"
aria-multiline="true"
role="textbox"
contentEditable={true}
onKeyDown={this.onKeyDown}
ref={node => this.input = node}
/>
<button type="button" className="btn btn-success" onClick={this.onSubmit}>Comment</button>
</form>
);
}
if your using php for the backend maybe you can use this code.
// Validate image file size
if (($_FILES["file-input"]["size"] > 2000000)) {
$msg = "Image File Size is Greater than 2MB.";
header("Location: ../product.php?error=$msg");
exit();
}
why so complicated?
foreach($input as $key => $value) {
$ret .= "$value";
if (next($input)==true) $ret .= ",";
}
This will add a , behind every value except the last one!
This the quick way to change HTML tags inside your DOM using jQuery. I find this replaceWith() function is very useful.
var text= $('p').text();
$('#change').on('click', function() {
target.replaceWith( "<h5>"+text+"</h5>" );
});
You can cast to float by doing c = a / float(b)
. If the numerator or denominator is a float, then the result will be also.
A caveat: as commenters have pointed out, this won't work if b
might be something other than an integer or floating-point number (or a string representing one). If you might be dealing with other types (such as complex numbers) you'll need to either check for those or use a different method.
You can use Rout redirecting.
protected void btnNewEntry_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Response.RedirectToRoute("CMS_1");
}
which requires to define your routing logic in Global.asax file that could be like that:
routes.MapPageRoute("CMS_1", "CMS_1", "~/CMS_1.aspx");
where any request by CMS_1 pattern in application scope will be redirecting to CMS_1.aspx, but in URL shows like www.yoursite.com/CMS_1
Compared to window.location="url";
it is much easyer to do just location="url";
I always use that
First create a DataGridTemplateColumn
to contain the button:
<DataGridTemplateColumn>
<DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<Button Click="ShowHideDetails">Details</Button>
</DataTemplate>
</DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
</DataGridTemplateColumn>
When the button is clicked, update the containing DataGridRow
's DetailsVisibility
:
void ShowHideDetails(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
for (var vis = sender as Visual; vis != null; vis = VisualTreeHelper.GetParent(vis) as Visual)
if (vis is DataGridRow)
{
var row = (DataGridRow)vis;
row.DetailsVisibility =
row.DetailsVisibility == Visibility.Visible ? Visibility.Collapsed : Visibility.Visible;
break;
}
}
An UserControl has a Destructor, why don't you use that?
~MyWpfControl()
{
// Dispose of any Disposable items here
}
Or as a single command:
git push -u origin master:my_test
Pushes the commits from your local master branch to a (possibly new) remote branch my_test
and sets up master
to track origin/my_test
.
Just run into this with another cause:
I was using a merged assembly created with ILRepack. The assembly you are querying the types from must be the first one passed to ILRepack or its types will not be available.

Many good answers here already, although you also need to keep in mind that if you are doing long-running processing on the UI thread (generally a bad idea), then you won't see the marquee moving either.
The shape is a tuple. If there is only 1 dimension the shape will be one number and just blank after a comma. For 2+ dimensions, there will be a number after all the commas.
# 1 dimension with 2 elements, shape = (2,).
# Note there's nothing after the comma.
z=np.array([ # start dimension
10, # not a dimension
20 # not a dimension
]) # end dimension
print(z.shape)
(2,)
# 2 dimensions, each with 1 element, shape = (2,1)
w=np.array([ # start outer dimension
[10], # element is in an inner dimension
[20] # element is in an inner dimension
]) # end outer dimension
print(w.shape)
(2,1)
Please take a look at the vue-mouseover package if you are not satisfied how does this code look:
<div
@mouseover="isMouseover = true"
@mouseleave="isMouseover = false"
/>
vue-mouseover provides a v-mouseover
directive that automaticaly updates the specified data context property when the cursor enters or leaves an HTML element the directive is attached to.
By default in the next example isMouseover
property will be true
when the cursor is over an HTML element and false
otherwise:
<div v-mouseover="isMouseover" />
Also by default isMouseover
will be initially assigned when v-mouseover
is attached to the div
element, so it will not remain unassigned before the first mouseenter
/mouseleave
event.
You can specify custom values via v-mouseover-value
directive:
<div
v-mouseover="isMouseover"
v-mouseover-value="customMouseenterValue"/>
or
<div
v-mouseover="isMouseover"
v-mouseover-value="{
mouseenter: customMouseenterValue,
mouseleave: customMouseleaveValue
}"
/>
Custom default values can be passed to the package via options object during setup.
The UUID is used for uniquely identifying information. It identifies a particular service provided by a Bluetooth device. The standard defines a basic BASE_UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB
.
Devices such as healthcare sensors can provide a service, substituting the first eight digits with a predefined code. For example, a device that offers an RFCOMM connection uses the short code: 0x0003
So, an Android phone can connect to a device and then use the Service Discovery Protocol (SDP) to find out what services it provides (UUID).
In many cases, you don't need to use these fixed UUIDs. In the case your are creating a chat application, for example, one Android phone interacts with another Android phone that uses the same application and hence the same UUID.
So, you can set an arbitrary UUID for your application using, for example, one of the many random UUID generators on the web (for example).
This cross-browser lib seems safer - just zoom and moz-transform won't cover as many browsers as jquery.transform2d's scale().
http://louisremi.github.io/jquery.transform.js/
For example
$('#div').css({ transform: 'scale(.5)' });
OK - I see people are voting this down without an explanation. The other answer here won't work in old Safari (people running Tiger), and it won't work consistently in some older browsers - that is, it does scale things but it does so in a way that's either very pixellated or shifts the position of the element in a way that doesn't match other browsers.

Or just look at this question, which this one is likely just a dupe of:
On my ubuntu server, just run:
sudo rm /var/lib/mongodb/mongod.lock
mongod --repair
sudo service mongodb start
You'll first need to separate your numpy array into two separate arrays containing x and y values.
x = [1, 2, 3, 9]
y = [1, 4, 1, 3]
curve_fit also requires a function that provides the type of fit you would like. For instance, a linear fit would use a function like
def func(x, a, b):
return a*x + b
scipy.optimize.curve_fit(func, x, y)
will return a numpy array containing two arrays: the first will contain values for a
and b
that best fit your data, and the second will be the covariance of the optimal fit parameters.
Here's an example for a linear fit with the data you provided.
import numpy as np
from scipy.optimize import curve_fit
x = np.array([1, 2, 3, 9])
y = np.array([1, 4, 1, 3])
def fit_func(x, a, b):
return a*x + b
params = curve_fit(fit_func, x, y)
[a, b] = params[0]
This code will return a = 0.135483870968
and b = 1.74193548387
Here's a plot with your points and the linear fit... which is clearly a bad one, but you can change the fitting function to obtain whatever type of fit you would like.
The script is performed before the DOM of the body is built. Put it all into a function and call it from the onload
of the body-element.
You can use ->child
to get a child element named child.
This element will contain the text of the child element.
But if you try var_dump()
on that variable, you will see it is not actually a PHP string.
The easiest way around this is to perform a strval(xml->child);
That will convert it to an actual PHP string.
This is useful when debugging when looping your XML and using var_dump()
to check the result.
So $s = strval($xml->child);
.
You can manage the builder cache with docker builder
To clean all the cache with no prompt:
docker builder prune -af
SET JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0
worked fine for me.
Note - Don't put double quotes over the path as mentioned above. Otherwise when you run

You're looking for Action<T>
, which takes a parameter.
In your CSS Style tag put this:
body {
background: url('yourgif.gif') no-repeat center center fixed;
background-size: cover;
}
I recommend this plugin: HTML/CSS/JS Prettify, It really works.
After the installation, just select the code and press Ctrl+Shift+H.
Done!
Another useful monitoring approach is to use ps
filtered on processes that consume your GPUs. I use this one a lot:
ps f -o user,pgrp,pid,pcpu,pmem,start,time,command -p `lsof -n -w -t /dev/nvidia*`
That'll show all nvidia GPU-utilizing processes and some stats about them. lsof ...
retrieves a list of all processes using an nvidia GPU owned by the current user, and ps -p ...
shows ps
results for those processes. ps f
shows nice formatting for child/parent process relationships / hierarchies, and -o
specifies a custom formatting. That one is similar to just doing ps u
but adds the process group ID and removes some other fields.
One advantage of this over nvidia-smi
is that it'll show process forks as well as main processes that use the GPU.
One disadvantage, though, is it's limited to processes owned by the user that executes the command. To open it up to all processes owned by any user, I add a sudo
before the lsof
.
Lastly, I combine it with watch
to get a continuous update. So, in the end, it looks like:
watch -n 0.1 'ps f -o user,pgrp,pid,pcpu,pmem,start,time,command -p `sudo lsof -n -w -t /dev/nvidia*`'
Which has output like:
Every 0.1s: ps f -o user,pgrp,pid,pcpu,pmem,start,time,command -p `sudo lsof -n -w -t /dev/nvi... Mon Jun 6 14:03:20 2016

If you want to automatically stash your changes and unstash them for every rebase, you can do this:
git config --global rebase.autoStash true
just simply use list.pop()
now if you want it the other way use : list.popleft()
Put w+ for writing the file, truncating if it exist, r+ to read the file, creating one if it don't exist but not writing (and returning null) or a+ for creating a new file or appending to a existing one.
In package.json you will find an eslintConfig
line. Your 'rules' line can go in there like this:
"eslintConfig": {
...
"extends": [
"eslint:recommended"
],
"rules": {
"no-console": "off"
},
...
},
pad
In order to move the colorbar relative to the subplot, one may use the pad
argument to fig.colorbar
.
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np; np.random.seed(1)
fig, ax = plt.subplots(figsize=(4,4))
im = ax.imshow(np.random.rand(11,16))
ax.set_xlabel("x label")
fig.colorbar(im, orientation="horizontal", pad=0.2)
plt.show()
One can use an instance of make_axes_locatable
to divide the axes and create a new axes which is perfectly aligned to the image plot. Again, the pad
argument would allow to set the space between the two axes.
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
from mpl_toolkits.axes_grid1 import make_axes_locatable
import numpy as np; np.random.seed(1)
fig, ax = plt.subplots(figsize=(4,4))
im = ax.imshow(np.random.rand(11,16))
ax.set_xlabel("x label")
divider = make_axes_locatable(ax)
cax = divider.new_vertical(size="5%", pad=0.7, pack_start=True)
fig.add_axes(cax)
fig.colorbar(im, cax=cax, orientation="horizontal")
plt.show()
One can directly create two rows of subplots, one for the image and one for the colorbar. Then, setting the height_ratios
as gridspec_kw={"height_ratios":[1, 0.05]}
in the figure creation, makes one of the subplots much smaller in height than the other and this small subplot can host the colorbar.
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import numpy as np; np.random.seed(1)
fig, (ax, cax) = plt.subplots(nrows=2,figsize=(4,4),
gridspec_kw={"height_ratios":[1, 0.05]})
im = ax.imshow(np.random.rand(11,16))
ax.set_xlabel("x label")
fig.colorbar(im, cax=cax, orientation="horizontal")
plt.show()

Vlookup
is good if the reference values (column A, sheet 1) are in ascending order. Another option is Index and Match, which can be used no matter the order (As long as the values in column a, sheet 1 are unique)
This is what you would put in column B on sheet 2
=INDEX(Sheet1!A$1:B$6,MATCH(A1,Sheet1!A$1:A$6),2)
Setting Sheet1!A$1:B$6
and Sheet1!A$1:A$6
as named ranges makes it a little more user friendly.
Header files can contain any valid C code, since they are injected into the compilation unit by the pre-processor prior to compilation.
If a header file contains a function, and is included by multiple .c
files, each .c
file will get a copy of that function and create a symbol for it. The linker will complain about the duplicate symbols.
It is technically possible to create static
functions in a header file for inclusion in multiple .c
files. Though this is generally not done because it breaks from the convention that code is found in .c
files and declarations are found in .h
files.
See the discussions in C/C++: Static function in header file, what does it mean? for more explanation.
Note that namespaces that are in the format of a valid Web URL don't necessarily need to be dereferenced i.e. you don't need to serve actual content at that URL. All that matters is that the namespace is globally unique.
One way to do this is with a trigger!
CREATE TABLE computed(
one SERIAL,
two INT NOT NULL
);
CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION computed_two_trg()
RETURNS trigger
LANGUAGE plpgsql
SECURITY DEFINER
AS $BODY$
BEGIN
NEW.two = NEW.one * 2;
RETURN NEW;
END
$BODY$;
CREATE TRIGGER computed_500
BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE
ON computed
FOR EACH ROW
EXECUTE PROCEDURE computed_two_trg();
The trigger is fired before the row is updated or inserted. It changes the field that we want to compute of NEW
record and then it returns that record.
I was also getting the same problem, but i uninstalled all updates of java and now it is working very fine....
function assert_exit_code {
rc=$?; if [[ $rc != 0 ]]; then echo "$1" 1>&2; fi
}
...
execute.sh
assert_exit_code "execute.sh has failed"
Alternatively,
<style type="text/css">
#example {
display: block;
width: 30px;
height: 10px;
background: url(../images/example.png) no-repeat;
text-indent: -9999px;
}
</style>
<a href="http://www.example.com" id="example">See an example!</a>
More wordy, but it may benefit SEO, and it will look like nice simple text with CSS disabled.
This is the simplest way to do it.
let total = parseInt(('100,000.00'.replace(',',''))) + parseInt(('500,000.00'.replace(',','')))
The Spring framework
's PathMatchingResourcePatternResolver
is really awesome for these things:
private Resource[] getXMLResources() throws IOException
{
ClassLoader classLoader = MethodHandles.lookup().getClass().getClassLoader();
PathMatchingResourcePatternResolver resolver = new PathMatchingResourcePatternResolver(classLoader);
return resolver.getResources("classpath:x/y/z/*.xml");
}
Maven dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-core</artifactId>
<version>LATEST</version>
</dependency>
Craig Stuntz has written an extensive (in my opinion) blog post on troubleshooting this exact error message, I personally would start there.
The following res:
(resource) references need to point to your model.
<add name="Entities" connectionString="metadata=
res://*/Models.WraithNath.co.uk.csdl|
res://*/Models.WraithNath.co.uk.ssdl|
res://*/Models.WraithNath.co.uk.msl;
Make sure each one has the name of your .edmx file after the "*/", with the "edmx" changed to the extension for that res (.csdl, .ssdl, or .msl).
It also may help to specify the assembly rather than using "//*/".
Worst case, you can check everything (a bit slower but should always find the resource) by using
<add name="Entities" connectionString="metadata=
res://*/;provider= <!-- ... -->
For Strings
and other types, you just use Array<*>
.
The reason IntArray
and others exist is to prevent autoboxing.
So int[]
relates to IntArray
where Integer[]
relates to Array<Int>
.
The way I think about it and use it is simple:
id is used for CSS and JavaScript/jQuery (has to be unique in a page)
name is used for form handling on the server when a form is submitted via HTML (has to be unique in a form - to some extent, see Paul's comment below)
First of all check error log in the path that your webserver indicates. Then maybe the browser is showing friendly error messages, so disable it.

It is not possible to write the implementation of a template class in a separate cpp file and compile. All the ways to do so, if anyone claims, are workarounds to mimic the usage of separate cpp file but practically if you intend to write a template class library and distribute it with header and lib files to hide the implementation, it is simply not possible.
To know why, let us look at the compilation process. The header files are never compiled. They are only preprocessed. The preprocessed code is then clubbed with the cpp file which is actually compiled. Now if the compiler has to generate the appropriate memory layout for the object it needs to know the data type of the template class.
Actually it must be understood that template class is not a class at all but a template for a class the declaration and definition of which is generated by the compiler at compile time after getting the information of the data type from the argument. As long as the memory layout cannot be created, the instructions for the method definition cannot be generated. Remember the first argument of the class method is the 'this' operator. All class methods are converted into individual methods with name mangling and the first parameter as the object which it operates on. The 'this' argument is which actually tells about size of the object which incase of template class is unavailable for the compiler unless the user instantiates the object with a valid type argument. In this case if you put the method definitions in a separate cpp file and try to compile it the object file itself will not be generated with the class information. The compilation will not fail, it would generate the object file but it won't generate any code for the template class in the object file. This is the reason why the linker is unable to find the symbols in the object files and the build fails.
Now what is the alternative to hide important implementation details? As we all know the main objective behind separating interface from implementation is hiding implementation details in binary form. This is where you must separate the data structures and algorithms. Your template classes must represent only data structures not the algorithms. This enables you to hide more valuable implementation details in separate non-templatized class libraries, the classes inside which would work on the template classes or just use them to hold data. The template class would actually contain less code to assign, get and set data. Rest of the work would be done by the algorithm classes.
I hope this discussion would be helpful.
The explanation for how it works:
JUnit wraps your test method in a Statement object so statement and Execute()
runs your test. Then instead of calling statement.Execute()
directly to run your test, JUnit passes the Statement to a TestRule with the @Rule
annotation. The TestRule's "apply" function returns a new Statement given the Statement with your test. The new Statement's Execute()
method can call the test Statement's execute method (or not, or call it multiple times), and do whatever it wants before and after
.
Now, JUnit has a new Statement that does more than just run the test, and it can again pass that to any more rules before finally calling Execute.
@Mahender, you probably meant the difference between \W
(instead of \w
) and \b
. If not, then I would agree with @BoltClock and @jwismar above. Otherwise continue reading.
\W
would match any non-word character and so its easy to try to use it to match word boundaries. The problem is that it will not match the start or end of a line. \b
is more suited for matching word boundaries as it will also match the start or end of a line. Roughly speaking (more experienced users can correct me here) \b
can be thought of as (\W|^|$)
. [Edit: as @?mega mentions below, \b
is a zero-length match so (\W|^|$)
is not strictly correct, but hopefully helps explain the diff]
Quick example: For the string Hello World
, .+\W
would match Hello_
(with the space) but will not match World
. .+\b
would match both Hello
and World
.
In C++ and C switches only work on integer types. Use an if else ladder instead. C++ could obviously have implemented some sort of swich statement for strings - I guess nobody thought it worthwhile, and I agree with them.
To append a char to a string in C, you first have to ensure that the memory buffer containing the string is large enough to accomodate an extra character. In your example program, you'd have to allocate a new, additional, memory block because the given literal string cannot be modified.
Here's a sample:
#include <stdlib.h>
int main()
{
char *str = "blablabla";
char c = 'H';
size_t len = strlen(str);
char *str2 = malloc(len + 1 + 1 ); /* one for extra char, one for trailing zero */
strcpy(str2, str);
str2[len] = c;
str2[len + 1] = '\0';
printf( "%s\n", str2 ); /* prints "blablablaH" */
free( str2 );
}
First, use malloc
to allocate a new chunk of memory which is large enough to accomodate all characters of the input string, the extra char to append - and the final zero. Then call strcpy
to copy the input string into the new buffer. Finally, change the last two bytes in the new buffer to tack on the character to add as well as the trailing zero.

I've found that the solution the works best for me is to just perform the merge and abort it if there are conflicts. This particular syntax feels clean and simple to me. This is Strategy 2 below.
However, if you want to ensure you don't mess up your current branch, or you're just not ready to merge regardless of the existence of conflicts, simply create a new sub-branch off of it and merge that:
git checkout mybranch
git checkout -b mynew-temporary-branch
git merge some-other-branch
That way you can simply throw away the temporary branch if you just want to see what the conflicts are. You don't need to bother "aborting" the merge, and you can go back to your work -- simply checkout 'mybranch' again and you won't have any merged code or merge conflicts in your branch.
This is basically a dry-run.
git checkout mybranch
git merge some-other-branch
If git reports conflicts (and ONLY IF THERE ARE conflicts) you can then do:
git merge --abort
If the merge is successful, you cannot abort it (only reset).
If you're not ready to merge, use the safer way above.
[EDIT: 2016-Nov - I swapped strategy 1 for 2, because it seems to be that most people are looking for "the safe way". Strategy 2 is now more of a note that you can simply abort the merge if the merge has conflicts that you're not ready to deal with. Keep in mind if reading comments!]
$(form).ajaxSubmit();

After using a find
-based solution for years, I found myself wanting the ability to exclude directories like .git
.
I switched to this rsync
-based solution. Put this in ~/bin/findlatest
:
#!/bin/sh
# Finds most recently modified files.
rsync -rL --list-only "$@" | grep -v '^d' | sort -k3,4r | head -5
Now findlatest .
will list the 5 most recently modified files, and findlatest --exclude .git .
will list the 5 excluding ones in .git
.
This works by taking advantage of some little-used rsync functionality: "if a single source arg is specified [to rsync] without a destination, the files are listed in an output format similar to ls -l" (rsync
man page).
The ability to take rsync args is useful in conjunction with rsync-based backup tools. For instance I use rsnapshot
, and I back up an application directory with rsnapshot.conf
line:
backup /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/current/ home +rsync_long_args=--archive --filter="merge /opt/atlassian/jira/current/backups/rsync-excludes"
where rsync-excludes
lists directories I don't want to backup:
- log/
- logs/
- analytics-logs/
- tmp/
- monitor/*.rrd4j
I can see now the latest files that will be backed up with:
findlatest /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/current/ --filter="merge /opt/atlassian/jira/current/backups/rsync-excludes"
For Ubuntu 16.04
, I have used this command for PHP7.2
and it worked for me.
sudo apt-get install php7.2-zip
This also works.
fieldset {
width:0px;
}
I think I use the simplest method to get the full profile picture. You can get full profile picture or you can set the profile picture dimension yourself:
$facebook->api(me?fields=picture.width(800).height(800))
You can set width
and height
as per your need. Though Facebook doesn't return the exact size asked for, It returns the closest dimension picture available with them.
Here is an implementation using HttpUrlConnection:
class CustomWebviewClient : WebViewClient() {
private val charsetPattern = Pattern.compile(".*?charset=(.*?)(;.*)?$")
override fun shouldInterceptRequest(view: WebView, request: WebResourceRequest): WebResourceResponse? {
try {
val connection: HttpURLConnection = URL(request.url.toString()).openConnection() as HttpURLConnection
connection.requestMethod = request.method
for ((key, value) in request.requestHeaders) {
connection.addRequestProperty(key, value)
}
connection.addRequestProperty("custom header key", "custom header value")
var contentType: String? = connection.contentType
var charset: String? = null
if (contentType != null) {
// some content types may include charset => strip; e. g. "application/json; charset=utf-8"
val contentTypeTokenizer = StringTokenizer(contentType, ";")
val tokenizedContentType = contentTypeTokenizer.nextToken()
var capturedCharset: String? = connection.contentEncoding
if (capturedCharset == null) {
val charsetMatcher = charsetPattern.matcher(contentType)
if (charsetMatcher.find() && charsetMatcher.groupCount() > 0) {
capturedCharset = charsetMatcher.group(1)
}
}
if (capturedCharset != null && !capturedCharset.isEmpty()) {
charset = capturedCharset
}
contentType = tokenizedContentType
}
val status = connection.responseCode
var inputStream = if (status == HttpURLConnection.HTTP_OK) {
connection.inputStream
} else {
// error stream can sometimes be null even if status is different from HTTP_OK
// (e. g. in case of 404)
connection.errorStream ?: connection.inputStream
}
val headers = connection.headerFields
val contentEncodings = headers.get("Content-Encoding")
if (contentEncodings != null) {
for (header in contentEncodings) {
if (header.equals("gzip", true)) {
inputStream = GZIPInputStream(inputStream)
break
}
}
}
return WebResourceResponse(contentType, charset, status, connection.responseMessage, convertConnectionResponseToSingleValueMap(connection.headerFields), inputStream)
} catch (e: Exception) {
e.printStackTrace()
}
return super.shouldInterceptRequest(view, request)
}
private fun convertConnectionResponseToSingleValueMap(headerFields: Map<String, List<String>>): Map<String, String> {
val headers = HashMap<String, String>()
for ((key, value) in headerFields) {
when {
value.size == 1 -> headers[key] = value[0]
value.isEmpty() -> headers[key] = ""
else -> {
val builder = StringBuilder(value[0])
val separator = "; "
for (i in 1 until value.size) {
builder.append(separator)
builder.append(value[i])
}
headers[key] = builder.toString()
}
}
}
return headers
}
}
Note that this does not work for POST requests because WebResourceRequest doesn't provide POST data. There is a Request Data - WebViewClient library which uses a JavaScript injection workaround for intercepting POST data.
The logcat shows the error, you should call super.onCreate(savedInstanceState)
:
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState){
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
//... your code
}
(You mentioned you are new to Android Studio) so I recommend pressing the Android Studio > Help > Check for updates... button that will update your environment.
This worked for me:
$.ajaxSetup({
headers: {
'X-CSRF-TOKEN': "{{ csrf_token() }}"
}
});
After this set regular AJAX call. Example:
$.ajax({
type:'POST',
url:'custom_url',
data:{name: "some name", password: "pass", email: "[email protected]"},
success:function(response){
// Log response
console.log(response);
}
});
if you want to override that onConfigurationChanged method and still want it to do the basic stuff then consider using super.onConfigyrationChanged() as the first statement in the overriden method.

Use alter session set current_schema = <username>
, in your case as an execute immediate.
See Oracle's documentation for further information.
In your case, that would probably boil down to (untested)
DECLARE
CURSOR client_cur IS
SELECT distinct username
from all_users
where length(username) = 3;
-- client cursor
CURSOR emails_cur IS
SELECT id, name
FROM org;

FOR email_rec in client_cur LOOP
dbms_output.put_line(
'Org id is ' || email_rec.id ||
' org nam ' || email_rec.name);
END LOOP;
END LOOP;

var test2NotInTest1 = test2.Where(t2 => test1.Count(t1 => t2.Contains(t1))==0);
Faster version as per Tim's suggestion:
var test2NotInTest1 = test2.Where(t2 => !test1.Any(t1 => t2.Contains(t1)));
It is:
<%=Html.ActionLink("Home", "Index", MyRouteValObj, new with {.class = "tab" })%>
In VB.net you set an anonymous type using
new with {.class = "tab" }
and, as other point out, your third parameter should be an object (could be an anonymous type, also).
The count()
function in plyr
does what you want:
library(plyr)
count(mydf, "MONTH-YEAR")
The normal way of doing it is:
You don't need a JsonResult or jQuery for this.
array.reduce(0, :+)
While equivalent to array.inject(0, :+)
, the term reduce is entering a more common vernacular with the rise of MapReduce programming models.
inject, reduce, fold, accumulate, and compress are all synonymous as a class of folding functions. I find consistency across your code base most important, but since various communities tend to prefer one word over another, it’s nonetheless useful to know the alternatives.
To emphasize the map-reduce verbiage, here’s a version that is a little bit more forgiving on what ends up in that array.
array.map(&:to_i).reduce(0, :+)
Some additional relevant reading:
I only partially agree with the top rated answer for this question. Which type of testing would you say should be the emphasis (for testers/QAs), and why?
I agree with the definition here which states that White Box Testing method is applicable to the following levels of software testing:
d = dict.fromkeys(a, 0)
a
is the list, 0
is the default value. Pay attention not to set the default value to some mutable object (i.e. list or dict), because it will be one object used as value for every key in the dictionary (check here for a solution for this case). Numbers/strings are safe.
If you can change the format of your placeholder, you could use String.format()
. If not, you could also replace it as pre-processing.

In my case, the error disappeared after I rebooted my OS and restarted MariaDB-server. Strange.
Try something like this:
var prop;
for(prop in obj) {
if(!obj.hasOwnProperty(prop)) continue;
console.log(prop + " - "+ obj[prop]);
}
I know this is 3 years old, but for everyone reading this now: Don't stick to VST, AU or any vendor's format. Steinberg has stopped supporting VST2, and people are in trouble porting their code to newer formats, because it's too tied to VST2.
These tutorials cover creating plugins that run on Win/Mac, 32/64, all plugin formats from the same code base.

If i understand your question right, one way to do is break down the string in chars and then check each char in that string using a loop whether it's a string or a number and then if string save it in a variable and then once the loop is finished, display that to the user
You may want to try:
for (int i=0; i < 2; i++)
{
Toast.makeText(this, "blah", Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
}
to double the time. If you specify 3 instead the 2 it will triple the time..etc.
The command ansible localhost -m setup
basically says "run the setup module against localhost", and the setup module gathers the facts that you see in the output.
When you run the echo
command these facts don't exist since the setup module wasn't run. A better method to testing things like this would be to use ansible-playbook to run a playbook that looks something like this:
- hosts: localhost
tasks:
- debug: var=ansible_date_time
- debug: msg="the current date is {{ ansible_date_time.date }}"
Because this runs as a playbook facts for localhost are gathered before the tasks are run. The output of the above playbook will be something like this:
PLAY [localhost] **************************************************
GATHERING FACTS ***************************************************************
ok: [localhost]
TASK: [debug var=ansible_date_time] *******************************************

for more information on How to create Circle Android Custom Progress Bar view this link
Step 01 You should create an xml file on drawable file for configure the appearance of progress bar . So Im creating my xml file as circular_progress_bar.xml.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<layer-list xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:fromDegrees="120"
android:pivotX="50%"
android:pivotY="50%"
android:toDegrees="140">
<item android:id="@android:id/background">
<shape
android:innerRadiusRatio="3"
android:shape="ring"
android:useLevel="false"
android:angle="0"
android:type="sweep"
android:thicknessRatio="50.0">
<solid android:color="#000000"/>
</shape>
</item>
<item android:id="@android:id/progress">
<rotate
android:fromDegrees="120"
android:toDegrees="120">
<shape
android:innerRadiusRatio="3"
android:shape="ring"
android:angle="0"
android:type="sweep"
android:thicknessRatio="50.0">
<solid android:color="#ffffff"/>
</shape>
</rotate>
</item>
</layer-list>
Step 02 Then create progress bar on your xml file Then give the name of xml file on your drawable folder as the parth of android:progressDrawable
<ProgressBar
android:id="@+id/progressBar"
style="?android:attr/progressBarStyleHorizontal"
android:layout_width="150dp"
android:layout_height="150dp"
android:layout_marginLeft="0dp"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:indeterminate="false"
android:max="100"
android:progressDrawable="@drawable/circular_progress_bar" />
Step 03 Visual the progress bar using thread
package com.example.progress;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.os.Handler;
import android.app.Activity;
import android.view.Menu;
import android.view.animation.Animation;
import android.view.animation.TranslateAnimation;

text.setText(""+mProgressStatus+"%");
}
});
try {
Thread.sleep(50);
} catch (InterruptedException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
}
}).start();
}
}
The other answers are great and contain more detail if you want/need them.
In addition to those, I would like to add a TL;DR:
@RunWith(MockitoJUnitRunner.class)
@Rule public MockitoRule rule = MockitoJUnit.rule();
@Before public void initMocks() {
MockitoAnnotations.initMocks(this);
}
X x = mock(X.class)
(1) and (2) and (3) are mutually exclusive.
(4) can be used in combination with the others.
Use insertAdjacentHTML
if it's available, otherwise use some sort of fallback. insertAdjacentHTML is supported in all current browsers.
div.insertAdjacentHTML( 'beforeend', str );

You can get detail error by using responseText property.
$.ajaxSetup({
error: function(xhr, status, error) {
alert("An AJAX error occured: " + status + "\nError: " + error + "\nError detail: " + xhr.responseText);
}
});
There are several long standing discussions about how to do this in a consistent, well understood and portable way. No complete resolution but I'll link you to the discussions below.
In any event you many want to try using the --add-host option to docker run to add the ip address of the host into the container's /etc/host file. From there it's trivial to connect to the host on any required port:
Adding entries to a container hosts file
You can add other hosts into a container's /etc/hosts file by using one or more --add-host flags. This example adds a static address for a host named docker:
$ docker run --add-host=docker:10.180.0.1 --rm -it debian $$ ping docker PING docker (10.180.0.1): 48 data bytes 56 bytes from 10.180.0.1: icmp_seq=0 ttl=254 time=7.600 ms 56 bytes from 10.180.0.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=254 time=30.705 ms ^C--- docker ping statistics --- 2 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 7.600/19.152/30.705/11.553 ms
Note: Sometimes you need to connect to the Docker host, which means getting the IP address of the host. You can use the following shell commands to simplify this process:
$ alias hostip="ip route show 0.0.0.0/0 | grep -Eo 'via \S+' | awk '{ print $2 }'" $ docker run --add-host=docker:$(hostip) --rm -it debian

For this to work, your font also needs to be set to monospace.
If you think about it, lines can't otherwise line up perfectly perfectly.

If you're using the command-line tools, running git --version
should give you the version number.
In 3.2 and later, Python saves .pyc compiled byte code files in a sub-directory named __pycache__
located in the directory where your source files reside with filenames that identify the Python version that created them (e.g. script.cpython-33.pyc)
Try this so you allow enough time for the first process to start.. else it will spawn 2 processes because the first one is not still running when you run the second one... This can happen if your computer is too fast..

You copied using Cells.
If so, no need to PasteSpecial since you are copying data at exactly the same format.
Here's your code with some fixes.
Dim x As Workbook, y As Workbook
Dim ws1 As Worksheet, ws2 As Worksheet
Set x = Workbooks.Open("path to copying book")
Set y = Workbooks.Open("path to pasting book")
Set ws1 = x.Sheets("Sheet you want to copy from")
Set ws2 = y.Sheets("Sheet you want to copy to")
ws1.Cells.Copy ws2.cells
y.Close True
x.Close False
If however you really want to paste special, use a dynamic Range("Address") to copy from.
Like this:
ws1.Range("Address").Copy: ws2.Range("A1").PasteSpecial xlPasteValues
y.Close True
x.Close False
Take note of the :
colon after the .Copy
which is a Statement Separating
character.
Using Object.PasteSpecial
requires to be executed in a new line.
Hope this gets you going.
Here's a simple method I've used on Windows 7 through Windows 10. Basically, I simply use the "IF EXIST" command to check for the Windows\System32\WDI\LogFiles folder. The WDI folder exists on every install of Windows from at least 7 onward, and it requires admin privileges to access. The WDI folder always has a LogFiles folder inside it. So, running "IF EXIST" on the WDI\LogFiles folder will return true if run as admin, and false if not run as admin. This can be used in a batch file to check privilege level, and branch to whichever commands you desire based on that result.
Here's a brief snippet of example code:
IF EXIST %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WDI\LOGFILES GOTO GOTADMIN
(Commands for running with normal privileges)
:GOTADMIN
(Commands for running with admin privileges)
Keep in mind that this method assumes the default security permissions have not been modified on the WDI folder (which is unlikely to happen in most situations, but please see caveat #2 below). Even in that case, it's simply a matter of modifying the code to check for a different common file/folder that requires admin access (System32\config\SAM may be a good alternate candidate), or you could even create your own specifically for that purpose.
There are two caveats about this method though:
Disabling UAC will likely break it through the simple fact that everything would be run as admin anyway.
Attempting to open the WDI folder in Windows Explorer and then clicking "Continue" when prompted will add permanent access rights for that user account, thus breaking my method. If this happens, it can be fixed by removing the user account from the WDI folder security permissions. If for any reason the user MUST be able to access the WDI folder with Windows Explorer, then you'd have to modify the code to check a different folder (as mentioned above, creating your own specifically for this purpose may be a good choice).
So, admittedly my method isn't perfect since it can be broken, but it's a relatively quick method that's easy to implement, is equally compatible with all versions of Windows 7, 8 and 10, and provided I stay mindful of the mentioned caveats has been 100% effective for me.
Tomcat can work in 2 modes:
Tomcat 7 is BIO by default, although consensus seems to be "don't use Bio because Nio is better in every way". You set this using the protocol
parameter in the server.xml
file.
HTTP/1.1
or org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol
org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol
If you're using BIO then I believe they should be more or less the same.
If you're using NIO then actually "maxConnections=1000" and "maxThreads=10" might even be reasonable. The defaults are maxConnections=10,000 and maxThreads=200. With NIO, each thread can serve any number of connections, switching back and forth but retaining the connection so you don't need to do all the usual handshaking which is especially time-consuming with HTTPS but even an issue with HTTP. You can adjust the "keepAlive" parameter to keep connections around for longer and this should speed everything up.

In case you are still searching for a better solution, I think this is what you want:
A Boolean value indicating whether the font size should be reduced in order to fit the title string into the label’s bounding rectangle (this property is effective only when the numberOfLines
property is set to 1).
When setting this property, minimumScaleFactor
MUST be set too (a good default is 0.5).
var adjustsFontSizeToFitWidth: Bool { get set }
@property(nonatomic) BOOL adjustsFontSizeToFitWidth;
A Boolean value indicating whether spacing between letters should be adjusted to fit the string within the label’s bounds rectangle.
var allowsDefaultTighteningForTruncation: Bool { get set }
@property(nonatomic) BOOL allowsDefaultTighteningForTruncation;
You must update the Windows PowerShell to minimum of version 4.0 for the script below to work.

I've used MongoDB extensively (for the past 6 months), building a hierarchical data management system, and I can vouch for both the ease of setup (install it, run it, use it!) and the speed. As long as you think about indexes carefully, it can absolutely scream along, speed-wise.
I gather that Cassandra, due to its use with large-scale projects like Twitter, has better scaling functionality, although the MongoDB team is working on parity there. I should point out that I've not used Cassandra beyond the trial-run stage, so I can't speak for the detail.
The real swinger for me, when we were assessing NoSQL databases, was the querying - Cassandra is basically just a giant key/value store, and querying is a bit fiddly (at least compared to MongoDB), so for performance you'd have to duplicate quite a lot of data as a sort of manual index. MongoDB, on the other hand, uses a "query by example" model.
For example, say you've got a Collection (MongoDB parlance for the equivalent to a RDMS table) containing Users. MongoDB stores records as Documents, which are basically binary JSON objects. e.g:
{
FirstName: "John",
LastName: "Smith",
Email: "[email protected]",
Groups: ["Admin", "User", "SuperUser"]
}
If you wanted to find all of the users called Smith who have Admin rights, you'd just create a new document (at the admin console using Javascript, or in production using the language of your choice):
{
LastName: "Smith",
Groups: "Admin"
}
...and then run the query. That's it. There are added operators for comparisons, RegEx filtering etc, but it's all pretty simple, and the Wiki-based documentation is pretty good.

Same goes true for float with 3.0f
Which should answer both of your questions
matches();
does not buffer, but find()
buffers. find()
searches to the end of the string first, indexes the result, and return the boolean value and corresponding index.
That is why when you have a code like
1:Pattern.compile("[a-z]");
2:Pattern.matcher("0a1b1c3d4");
3:int count = 0;
4:while(matcher.find()){
5:count++: }
At 4: The regex engine using the pattern structure will read through the whole of your code (index to index as specified by the regex[single character]
to find at least one match. If such match is found, it will be indexed then the loop will execute based on the indexed result else if it didn't do ahead calculation like which matches()
; does not. The while statement would never execute since the first character of the matched string is not an alphabet.
Good question. :) I don't have a complete answer...
That said, you can get a list of remote tags via git ls-remote
. To list the tags in the repository referenced by origin
, you'd run:
git ls-remote --tags origin
That returns a list of hashes and friendly tag names, like:
94bf6de8315d9a7b22385e86e1f5add9183bcb3c refs/tags/v0.1.3
cc047da6604bdd9a0e5ecbba3375ba6f09eed09d refs/tags/v0.1.4
...
2f2e45bedf67dedb8d1dc0d02612345ee5c893f2 refs/tags/v0.5.4
You could certainly put together a bash script to compare the tags generated by this list with the tags you have locally. Take a look at git show-ref --tags
, which generates the tag names in the same form as git ls-remote
).
As an aside, git show-ref
has an option that does the opposite of what you'd like. The following command would list all the tags on the remote branch that you don't have locally:
git ls-remote --tags origin | git show-ref --tags --exclude-existing
<ui:include>
Most basic way is <ui:include>
. The included content must be placed inside <ui:composition>
.
Kickoff example of the master page /page.xhtml
:

</h:body>
</html>
The include page /WEB-INF/include.xhtml

are unnecessary as they are ignored by Facelets anyway):

This needs to be opened by /page.xhtml
. Do note that you don't need to repeat <html>
, <h:head>
and <h:body>
inside the include file as that would otherwise result in invalid HTML.
You can use a dynamic EL expression in <ui:include src>
. See also How to ajax-refresh dynamic include content by navigation menu? (JSF SPA).
<ui:define>

A more advanced way of including is templating. This includes basically the other way round. The master template page should use <ui:insert>
to declare places to insert defined template content. The template client page which is using the master template page should use <ui:define>
to define the template content which is to be inserted.
Master template page /WEB-INF/template.xhtml
(as a design hint: the header, menu and footer can in turn even be <ui:include>
files):

Template client page /page.xhtml
(note the template
attribute; also here, this is the file in its entirety):
<ui:composition template="/WEB-INF/template.xhtml"

This needs to be opened by /page.xhtml
. If there is no <ui:define>
, then the default content inside <ui:insert>
will be displayed instead, if any.
<ui:param>
You can pass parameters to <ui:include>
or <ui:composition template>

<ui:include ...>
<ui:param name="foo" value="#{bean.foo}" />
</ui:include>
<ui:composition template="...">
<ui:param name="foo" value="#{bean.foo}" />
...
</ui:composition >
Inside the include/template file, it'll be available as #{foo}
. In case you need to pass "many" parameters to <ui:include>
, then you'd better consider registering the include file as a tagfile, so that you can ultimately use it like so <my:tagname foo="#{bean.foo}">
. See also When to use <ui:include>, tag files, composite components and/or custom components?
You can even pass whole beans, methods and parameters via <ui:param>
. See also JSF 2: how to pass an action including an argument to be invoked to a Facelets sub view (using ui:include and ui:param)?
The files which aren't supposed to be publicly accessible by just entering/guessing its URL, need to be placed in /WEB-INF
folder, like as the include file and the template file in above example. See also Which XHTML files do I need to put in /WEB-INF and which not?
There doesn't need to be any markup (HTML code) outside <ui:composition>
and <ui:define>
. You can put any, but they will be ignored by Facelets. Putting markup in there is only useful for web designers. See also Is there a way to run a JSF page without building the whole project?
The HTML5 doctype is the recommended doctype these days, "in spite of" that it's a XHTML file. You should see XHTML as a language which allows you to produce HTML output using a XML based tool. See also Is it possible to use JSF+Facelets with HTML 4/5? and JavaServer Faces 2.2 and HTML5 support, why is XHTML still being used.
CSS/JS/image files can be included as dynamically relocatable/localized/versioned resources. See also How to reference CSS / JS / image resource in Facelets template?
You can put Facelets files in a reusable JAR file. See also Structure for multiple JSF projects with shared code.
For real world examples of advanced Facelets templating, check the src/main/webapp
folder of Java EE Kickoff App source code and OmniFaces showcase site source code.
If you are on Ubuntu, run:
sudo apt-get install php-mysqlnd
You can use the target
argument in the Thread
constructor to directly pass in a function that gets called instead of run
.
add this to your application :
@app.route('/logout')
def logout():
return ('Logout', 401, {'WWW-Authenticate': 'Basic realm="Login required"'})
There aren't any quotes. It's just VS debugger. Try printing to the console or saving to a file and you'll see. As a side note: always dispose disposable objects:
using (var stringWriter = new StringWriter())
using (var xmlTextWriter = XmlWriter.Create(stringWriter))
{
xmlDoc.WriteTo(xmlTextWriter);
xmlTextWriter.Flush();
return stringWriter.GetStringBuilder().ToString();
}
For a laugh, thought I'd try and get a single LINQ statement by using the new C# 6 null-conditional operator. Looks pretty crazy and probably horribly inefficient, but it works.

The root cause is that the sql server database you took the schema from has a collation that differs from your local installation. If you don't want to worry about collation re install SQL Server locally using the same collation as the SQL Server 2008 database.
NB: Should you want the year to be based on some reference date, the code below calculates the dates for the between
statement:
declare @referenceTime datetime = getutcdate()
select *
from myTable
where SomeDate
between dateadd(year, year(@referenceTime) - 1900, '01-01-1900') --1st Jan this year (midnight)
and dateadd(millisecond, -3, dateadd(year, year(@referenceTime) - 1900, '01-01-1901')) --31st Dec end of this year (just before midnight of the new year)
Similarly, if you're using a year value, swapping year(@referenceDate)
for your reference year's value will work
declare @referenceYear int = 2010
select *
from myTable
where SomeDate
between dateadd(year,@referenceYear - 1900, '01-01-1900') --1st Jan this year (midnight)
and dateadd(millisecond, -3, dateadd(year,@referenceYear - 1900, '01-01-1901')) --31st Dec end of this year (just before midnight of the new year)
A better alternative to using pointers to pointers is to use std::vector
. That takes care of the details of memory allocation and deallocation.
std::vector<std::vector<int>> create2DArray(unsigned height, unsigned width)
{
return std::vector<std::vector<int>>(height, std::vector<int>(width, 0));
}
An LRUMap is another possibility, also from Apache Commons.

Your keystore is broken, and you will have to restore or regenerate it.
When you use spring then you can use
boolean isNullOrEmpty = org.springframework.util.ObjectUtils.isEmpty(obj);
where obj is any [map,collection,array,aything...]
otherwise: the code is:
public static boolean isEmpty(Object[] array) {
return (array == null || array.length == 0);
}
public static boolean isEmpty(Object obj) {
if (obj == null) {
return true;
}
if (obj.getClass().isArray()) {
return Array.getLength(obj) == 0;
}
if (obj instanceof CharSequence) {
return ((CharSequence) obj).length() == 0;
}
if (obj instanceof Collection) {
return ((Collection) obj).isEmpty();
}
if (obj instanceof Map) {
return ((Map) obj).isEmpty();
}
// else
return false;
}
for String best is:
boolean isNullOrEmpty = (str==null || str.trim().isEmpty());
just in case you are using a remote access and want to dump all database data, you can use:
pg_dump -a -h your_host -U your_user -W -Fc your_database > DATA.dump
it will create a dump with all database data and use
pg_restore -a -h your_host -U your_user -W -Fc your_database < DATA.dump
to insert the same data in your data base considering you have the same structure
SELECT CLASS,
isnull([AZ],0),
isnull([CA],0),
isnull([TX],0)
FROM #TEMP
PIVOT (SUM(DATA)
FOR STATE IN ([AZ], [CA], [TX])) AS PVT
ORDER BY CLASS
After some more research, it appears, for Mozilla/Firefox, that Array.sort() uses mergesort. See the code here.
Using @Mark-Rushakoff answer, I worked out a simpler approach, no need to call the sys library. It works with Python 3. Tested in Windows:
from time import sleep
for i in range(21):
# the exact output you're looking for:
print ("\r[%-20s] %d%%" % ('='*i, 5*i), end='')
sleep(0.25)
On input:
step="any"
class="two-decimals"
On script:
$(".two-decimals").change(function(){
this.value = parseFloat(this.value).toFixed(2);
});
Let us say we have a project social_login. To check the traffic to your repo, you can goto https://github.com//social_login/graphs/traffic
As bellow we can remove table rows with specific row id

// or you can use bellow line also
//$('#test tr#'+id).remove();
}

If you are ok to do transformation, you may try this.
DocumentBuilderFactory domFact = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
DocumentBuilder builder = domFact.newDocumentBuilder();
Document doc = builder.parse(st);
DOMSource domSource = new DOMSource(doc);
StringWriter writer = new StringWriter();
StreamResult result = new StreamResult(writer);
TransformerFactory tf = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
Transformer transformer = tf.newTransformer();
transformer.transform(domSource, result);
System.out.println("XML IN String format is: \n" + writer.toString());
As said in the documentation:
Must: The clause (query) must appear in matching documents.
Should: The clause (query) should appear in the matching document. In a boolean query with no must clauses, one or more should clauses must match a document. The minimum number of should clauses to match can be set using the minimum_should_match parameter.
In other words, results will have to be matched by all the queries present in the must clause ( or match at least one of the should clauses if there is no must clause.
Since you want your results to satisfy all the queries, you should use must.
You can indeed use filters inside a boolean query.
The information schema isn't the place to treat these things (see DDL database commands).
When you add a comment you need to change the table structure (table comments).
From MySQL 5.6 documentation:
INFORMATION_SCHEMA is a database within each MySQL instance, the place that stores information about all the other databases that the MySQL server maintains. The INFORMATION_SCHEMA database contains several read-only tables. They are actually views, not base tables, so there are no files associated with them, and you cannot set triggers on them. Also, there is no database directory with that name.
Although you can select INFORMATION_SCHEMA as the default database with a USE statement, you can only read the contents of tables, not perform INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE operations on them.
No, they are not always.
It depends on whether you allow user input to be placed within the query itself. For example:
$dbh = new PDO("blahblah");
$tableToUse = $_GET['userTable'];
$stmt = $dbh->prepare('SELECT * FROM ' . $tableToUse . ' where username = :username');
$stmt->execute( array(':username' => $_REQUEST['username']) );
would be vulnerable to SQL injections and using prepared statements in this example won't work, because the user input is used as an identifier, not as data. The right answer here would be to use some sort of filtering/validation like:
$dbh = new PDO("blahblah");
$tableToUse = $_GET['userTable'];
$allowedTables = array('users','admins','moderators');
if (!in_array($tableToUse,$allowedTables))
$tableToUse = 'users';
$stmt = $dbh->prepare('SELECT * FROM ' . $tableToUse . ' where username = :username');
$stmt->execute( array(':username' => $_REQUEST['username']) );
Note: you can't use PDO to bind data that goes outside of DDL (Data Definition Language), i.e. this does not work:
$stmt = $dbh->prepare('SELECT * FROM foo ORDER BY :userSuppliedData');
The reason why the above does not work is because DESC
and ASC
are not data. PDO can only escape for data. Secondly, you can't even put '
quotes around it. The only way to allow user chosen sorting is to manually filter and check that it's either DESC
or ASC
.
If it is safe to assume only one set of spaces in column two (which is the original example):
awk '{print $1$2}' /tmp/input.txt
Adding another field, e.g. awk '{print $1$2$3}' /tmp/input.txt
will catch two sets of spaces (up to three words in column two), and won't break if there are fewer.
If you have an indeterminate (large) number of space delimited words, I'd use one of the previous suggestions, otherwise this solution is the easiest you'll find using awk.
Something like that should be what you need
private void button1_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
// Create OpenFileDialog
Microsoft.Win32.OpenFileDialog dlg = new Microsoft.Win32.OpenFileDialog();
// Set filter for file extension and default file extension
dlg.DefaultExt = ".png";
dlg.Filter = "JPEG Files (*.jpeg)|*.jpeg|PNG Files (*.png)|*.png|JPG Files (*.jpg)|*.jpg|GIF Files (*.gif)|*.gif";
// Display OpenFileDialog by calling ShowDialog method
Nullable<bool> result = dlg.ShowDialog();
// Get the selected file name and display in a TextBox
if (result == true)
{
// Open document
string filename = dlg.FileName;
textBox1.Text = filename;
}
}
I fixed the same problem on Google Chrome with the following:
Choose Customize and control Google Chrome (the button in the top right corner).
Choose Settings.
Go to Extensions.
Unmark all the extensions there. (They should show as Enable instead of Enabled.)
Here is my quick implementation for swift 4:
extension UITextField {
func placeholderColor(_ color: UIColor){
var placeholderText = ""
if self.placeholder != nil{
placeholderText = self.placeholder!
}
self.attributedPlaceholder = NSAttributedString(string: placeholderText, attributes: [NSAttributedStringKey.foregroundColor : color])
}
}
use like:
streetTextField?.placeholderColor(AppColor.blueColor)
hope it helps someone!
It is rather messy but you need to do something like the following:
START "do something window" dir
FOR /F "tokens=2" %I in ('TASKLIST /NH /FI "WINDOWTITLE eq do something window"' ) DO SET PID=%I
ECHO %PID%
TASKKILL /PID %PID%
Found this on this page.
(This kind of thing is much easier if you have a UNIX / LINUX system ... or if you run Cygwin or similar on Windows.)
Probably part of Open Graph Protocol for Facebook.
Edit: guess not only Facebook - that's only one example of using it.
To add to reasons why Excel does not close, even when you create direct refrences to each object upon read, creation, is the 'For' loop.
For Each objWorkBook As WorkBook in objWorkBooks 'local ref, created from ExcelApp.WorkBooks to avoid the double-dot
objWorkBook.Close 'or whatever
FinalReleaseComObject(objWorkBook)
objWorkBook = Nothing
Next
'The above does not work, and this is the workaround:
For intCounter As Integer = 1 To mobjExcel_WorkBooks.Count
Dim objTempWorkBook As Workbook = mobjExcel_WorkBooks.Item(intCounter)
objTempWorkBook.Saved = True
objTempWorkBook.Close(False, Type.Missing, Type.Missing)
FinalReleaseComObject(objTempWorkBook)
objTempWorkBook = Nothing
Next
Use Firebug to inspect the table in question, and see where does it inherit the border from. (check the right column). Try setting on-the-fly inline style border:none; to see if you get rid of it. Could also be the browsers default stylesheets. In this case, use a CSS reset. http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/reset/
In python the with
keyword is used when working with unmanaged resources (like file streams). It is similar to the using
statement in VB.NET and C#. It allows you to ensure that a resource is "cleaned up" when the code that uses it finishes running, even if exceptions are thrown. It provides 'syntactic sugar' for try/finally
blocks.
From Python Docs:
The
with
statement clarifies code that previously would usetry...finally
blocks to ensure that clean-up code is executed. In this section, I’ll discuss the statement as it will commonly be used. In the next section, I’ll examine the implementation details and show how to write objects for use with this statement.The
with
statement is a control-flow structure whose basic structure is:with expression [as variable]: with-block
The expression is evaluated, and it should result in an object that supports the context management protocol (that is, has
__enter__()
and__exit__()
methods).
Update fixed VB callout per Scott Wisniewski's comment. I was indeed confusing with
with using
.
Just go to the column whenadded and change the default value to CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
var start = new Date("2014-05-01"); //yyyy-mm-dd
var end = new Date("2014-05-05"); //yyyy-mm-dd
while(start <= end){
var mm = ((start.getMonth()+1)>=10)?(start.getMonth()+1):'0'+(start.getMonth()+1);
var dd = ((start.getDate())>=10)? (start.getDate()) : '0' + (start.getDate());
var yyyy = start.getFullYear();
var date = dd+"/"+mm+"/"+yyyy; //yyyy-mm-dd
alert(date);
start = new Date(start.setDate(start.getDate() + 1)); //date increase by 1
}
I use this for generating random URL friendly strings with a guaranteed maximum length:
string_length = 8
rand(36**string_length).to_s(36)
It generates random strings of lowercase a-z and 0-9. It's not very customizable but it's short and clean.
If you are using a strongly-typed dataset then you should do this:
If Not ediTransactionRow.Ispay_id1Null Then
'Do processing here
End If
You are getting the error because a strongly-typed data set retrieves the underlying value and exposes the conversion through the property. For instance, here is essentially what is happening:
Public Property pay_Id1 Then
Get
return DirectCast(me.GetValue("pay_Id1", short)
End Get
'Abbreviated for clarity
End Property
The GetValue method is returning DBNull which cannot be converted to a short.
As per Atmocreation's solution, except you don't need to re-checkout the whole project, which is useful if you have existing work in progress.
Let's say you have a working copy:
/foo/
which contains directories:
/foo/bar/baz
and you're getting the error message on commit:
svn: File already exists: filesystem '/foo/bar'
Backup the contents of bar somewhere:
mkdir -p ~/tmp/code_backup
cp -r /foo/bar ~/tmp/code_backup
Delete the .svn control directories from the backup. Make sure you get this command right, or you can do pretty serious damage!! Delete them manually if you're unsure.
find ~/tmp/code_backup/bar -name .svn -type d -exec rm -rf {} \;
Double check that the copy is identical:
diff -r -x .svn dist ~/tmp/code_backup/dist
Remove the offending directory from the working copy: cd /foo rm -rf bar
And then restore it from the repository:
cd /foo
svn update bar
Copy back the modified files from backup:
cp -r ~/tmp/code_backup/bar /foo/
You should now be able to commit without the error.
For CentOS 7 and MariaDB 10.4, I had success with the following commands:
su -
systemctl set-environment MYSQLD_OPTS="--skip-grant-tables --user=mysql"
systemctl restart mariadb
mysql -u root
flush privileges;
ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'MyNewPass';
flush privileges;
quit
systemctl unset-environment MYSQLD_OPTS
systemctl restart mariadb
final FragmentTransaction ft = getFragmentManager().beginTransaction();
ft.hide(currentFragment);
ft.add(R.id.content_frame, newFragment.newInstance(context), "Profile");
ft.addToBackStack(null);
ft.commit();
The other answers are correct, but if you are trying to make a list of functions, each with a different parameter, that can be executed later, the following code will do that:
import functools
a = [functools.partial(lambda x: x*x, x) for x in range(10)]
b = []
for i in a:
b.append(i())
In [26]: b
Out[26]: [0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81]
While the example is contrived, I found it useful when I wanted a list of functions that each print something different, i.e.
import functools
a = [functools.partial(lambda x: print(x), x) for x in range(10)]
for i in a:
i()
I was struggling with a similar problem yesterday. I already had a "working" solution using jQuery UI's draggable together with jQuery Touch Punch, which are mentioned in other answers. However, using this method was causing weird bugs in some Android devices for me, and therefore I decided to write a small jQuery plugin that can make HTML elements draggable by using touch events instead of using a method that emulates fake mouse events.
The result of this is jQuery Draggable Touch which is a simple jQuery plugin for making elements draggable, that has touch devices as it's main target by using touch events (like touchstart, touchmove, touchend, etc.). It still has a fallback that uses mouse events if the browser/device doesn't support touch events.
