you should change cr_date(str) to datetime object then you 'll change the date to the specific format:
cr_date = '2013-10-31 18:23:29.000227'
cr_date = datetime.datetime.strptime(cr_date, '%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S.%f')
cr_date = cr_date.strftime("%m/%d/%Y")
In Xcode Version 6.1.1 (6A2008a), after "Processing Symbol Files", a folder containing symbols associated with the device (including iOS version and CPU type) was created in ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/iOS DeviceSupport/ like this:
Tbl.ListRows.Add
doesn't work for me and I believe lot others are facing the same problem. I use the following workaround:
'First check if the last row is empty; if not, add a row
If table.ListRows.count > 0 Then
Set lastRow = table.ListRows(table.ListRows.count).Range
For col = 1 To lastRow.Columns.count
If Trim(CStr(lastRow.Cells(1, col).Value)) <> "" Then
lastRow.Cells(1, col).EntireRow.Insert
'Cut last row and paste to second last
lastRow.Cut Destination:=table.ListRows(table.ListRows.count - 1).Range
Exit For
End If
Next col
End If
'Populate last row with the form data
Set lastRow = table.ListRows(table.ListRows.count).Range
Range("E7:E10").Copy
lastRow.PasteSpecial Transpose:=True
Range("E7").Select
Application.CutCopyMode = False
Hope it helps someone out there.
It's an inlined image (png), encoded in base64. It can make a page faster: the browser doesn't have to query the server for the image data separately, saving a round trip.
(It can also make it slower if abused: these resources are not cached, so the bytes are included in each page load.)
In my case, the problem was another. I was trying convert lists of lists of int to array. The problem was that there was one list with a different length than others. If you want to prove it, you must do:
print([i for i,x in enumerate(list) if len(x) != 560])
In my case, the length reference was 560.
import base64
a = 'eW91ciB0ZXh0'
base64.b64decode(a)
A quick way to decode it without importing anything:
'eW91ciB0ZXh0'.decode('base64')
or more descriptive
>>> a = 'eW91ciB0ZXh0'
>>> a.decode('base64')
'your text'

Do not use [^\w\s]
, this will remove letters with accents (like àèéìòù), not to mention to Cyrillic or Chinese, letters coming from such languages will be completed removed.
You really don't want remove these letters together with all the special characters. You have two chances:
[^èéòàùì\w\s]
.\p{...}
syntax.var str = "????::: résd,$%& adùf"
var search = XRegExp('([^?<first>\\pL ]+)');
var res = XRegExp.replace(str, search, '',"all");
console.log(res); // returns "????::: resd,adf"
console.log(str.replace(/[^\w\s]/gi, '') ); // returns " rsd adf"
console.log(str.replace(/[^\wèéòàùì\s]/gi, '') ); // returns " résd adùf"

What role do they play when exiting an application in C#?
The same as every other application. Basically they get returned to the caller. Irrelvant if ythe start was an iicon double click. Relevant is the call is a batch file that decides whether the app worked on the return code. SO, unless you write a program that needs this, the return dcode IS irrelevant.
But what is the difference?
One comes from environment one from the System.Windows.Forms?.Application. Functionall there should not bbe a lot of difference.
select * from test
where date between '03/19/2014' and '03/19/2014 23:59:59'
This is a realy bad answer. For two reasons.
1. What happens with times like 23.59.59.700 etc. There are times larger than 23:59:59 and the next day.
2. The behaviour depends on the datatype. The query behaves differently for datetime/date/datetime2 types.
Testing with 23:59:59.999 makes it even worse because depending on the datetype you get different roundings.
select convert (varchar(40),convert(date , '2014-03-19 23:59:59.999'))
select convert (varchar(40),convert(datetime , '2014-03-19 23:59:59.999'))
select convert (varchar(40),convert(datetime2 , '2014-03-19 23:59:59.999'))
-- For date the value is 'chopped'. -- For datetime the value is rounded up to the next date. (Nearest value). -- For datetime2 the value is precise.
SafeAreaLayoutGuide
is UIView
property,
The top of the safeAreaLayoutGuide indicates the unobscured top edge of the view (e.g, not behind the status bar or navigation bar, if present). Similarly for the other edges.
Use safeAreaLayoutGuide
for avoid our objects clipping/overlapping from rounded corners, navigation bars, tab bars, toolbars, and other ancestor views.
We can create safeAreaLayoutGuide
object & set object constraints respectively.
Constraints for Portrait + Landscape is -
self.edgesForExtendedLayout = []//Optional our as per your view ladder
let newView = UIView()
newView.backgroundColor = .red
self.view.addSubview(newView)
newView.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
if #available(iOS 11.0, *) {
let guide = self.view.safeAreaLayoutGuide
newView.trailingAnchor.constraint(equalTo: guide.trailingAnchor).isActive = true
newView.leadingAnchor.constraint(equalTo: guide.leadingAnchor).isActive = true
newView.topAnchor.constraint(equalTo: guide.topAnchor).isActive = true
newView.heightAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: 100).isActive = true
}
else {
NSLayoutConstraint(item: newView, attribute: .top, relatedBy: .equal, toItem: view, attribute: .top, multiplier: 1.0, constant: 0).isActive = true
NSLayoutConstraint(item: newView, attribute: .leading, relatedBy: .equal, toItem: view, attribute: .leading, multiplier: 1.0, constant: 0).isActive = true
NSLayoutConstraint(item: newView, attribute: .trailing, relatedBy: .equal, toItem: view, attribute: .trailing, multiplier: 1.0, constant: 0).isActive = true
newView.heightAnchor.constraint(equalToConstant: 100).isActive = true
}
No, you can't name the tuple members.
The in-between would be to use ExpandoObject instead of Tuple.
Another simple way:
Dir.mkdir('tmp/excel') unless Dir.exist?('tmp/excel')
Postgres process query different from other RDMS. Put schema name in double quote before your table name like this, "SCHEMA_NAME"."SF_Bands"
You could use range(10)[::-1]
which is the same thing as range(9, -1, -1)
and arguably more readable (if you're familiar with the common sequence[::-1]
Python idiom).
In Font Awesome 5 it can be done using pure CSS as in some of the above answers with some modifications.
ul {
list-style-type: none;
}
li:before {
position: absolute;
font-family: 'Font Awesome 5 free';
/* Use the Name of the Font Awesome free font, e.g.:
- 'Font Awesome 5 Free' for Regular and Solid symbols;
- 'Font Awesome 5 Brand' for Brands symbols.
- 'Font Awesome 5 Pro' for Regular and Solid symbols (Professional License);
*/
content: "\f1fc"; /* Unicode value of the icon to use: */
font-weight: 900; /* This is important, change the value according to the font family name
used above. See the link below */
color: red;
}
Without the correct font-weight, it will only show a blank square.

Update: React 16.0 introduced portals through ReactDOM.createPortal
link
Update: next versions of React (Fiber: probably 16 or 17) will include a method to create portals: ReactDOM.unstable_createPortal()
link
Dan Abramov answer first part is fine, but involves a lot of boilerplate. As he said, you can also use portals. I'll expand a bit on that idea.
The advantage of a portal is that the popup and the button remain very close into the React tree, with very simple parent/child communication using props: you can easily handle async actions with portals, or let the parent customize the portal.
A portal permits you to render directly inside document.body
an element that is deeply nested in your React tree.
The idea is that for example you render into body the following React tree:
<div className="layout">
<div className="outside-portal">
<Portal>
<div className="inside-portal">
PortalContent
</div>
</Portal>
</div>
</div>
And you get as output:
<body>
<div class="layout">
<div class="outside-portal">
</div>
</div>
<div class="inside-portal">
PortalContent
</div>
</body>
The inside-portal
node has been translated inside <body>
, instead of its normal, deeply-nested place.
A portal is particularly helpful for displaying elements that should go on top of your existing React components: popups, dropdowns, suggestions, hotspots
No z-index problems anymore: a portal permits you to render to <body>
. If you want to display a popup or dropdown, this is a really nice idea if you don't want to have to fight against z-index problems. The portal elements get added do document.body
in mount order, which means that unless you play with z-index
, the default behavior will be to stack portals on top of each others, in mounting order. In practice, it means that you can safely open a popup from inside another popup, and be sure that the 2nd popup will be displayed on top of the first, without having to even think about z-index
.
Most simple: use local React state: if you think, for a simple delete confirmation popup, it's not worth to have the Redux boilerplate, then you can use a portal and it greatly simplifies your code. For such a use case, where the interaction is very local and is actually quite an implementation detail, do you really care about hot-reloading, time-traveling, action logging and all the benefits Redux brings you? Personally, I don't and use local state in this case. The code becomes as simple as:
class DeleteButton extends React.Component {
static propTypes = {
onDelete: PropTypes.func.isRequired,
};
state = { confirmationPopup: false };
open = () => {
this.setState({ confirmationPopup: true });
};
close = () => {
this.setState({ confirmationPopup: false });
};
render() {
return (
<div className="delete-button">
<div onClick={() => this.open()}>Delete</div>
{this.state.confirmationPopup && (
<Portal>
<DeleteConfirmationPopup
onCancel={() => this.close()}
onConfirm={() => {
this.close();
this.props.onDelete();
}}
/>
</Portal>
)}
</div>
);
}
}
Simple: you can still use Redux state: if you really want to, you can still use connect
to choose whether or not the DeleteConfirmationPopup
is shown or not. As the portal remains deeply nested in your React tree, it is very simple to customize the behavior of this portal because your parent can pass props to the portal. If you don't use portals, you usually have to render your popups at the top of your React tree for z-index
reasons, and usually have to think about things like "how do I customize the generic DeleteConfirmationPopup I built according to the use case". And usually you'll find quite hacky solutions to this problem, like dispatching an action that contains nested confirm/cancel actions, a translation bundle key, or even worse, a render function (or something else unserializable). You don't have to do that with portals, and can just pass regular props, since DeleteConfirmationPopup
is just a child of the DeleteButton
Portals are very useful to simplify your code. I couldn't do without them anymore.
Note that portal implementations can also help you with other useful features like:
react-portal or react-modal are nice for popups, modals, and overlays that should be full-screen, generally centered in the middle of the screen.
react-tether is unknown to most React developers, yet it's one of the most useful tools you can find out there. Tether permits you to create portals, but will position automatically the portal, relative to a given target. This is perfect for tooltips, dropdowns, hotspots, helpboxes... If you have ever had any problem with position absolute
/relative
and z-index
, or your dropdown going outside of your viewport, Tether will solve all that for you.
You can, for example, easily implement onboarding hotspots, that expands to a tooltip once clicked:
Real production code here. Can't be any simpler :)
<MenuHotspots.contacts>
<ContactButton/>
</MenuHotspots.contacts>
Edit: just discovered react-gateway which permits to render portals into the node of your choice (not necessarily body)
Edit: it seems react-popper can be a decent alternative to react-tether. PopperJS is a library that only computes an appropriate position for an element, without touching the DOM directly, letting the user choose where and when he wants to put the DOM node, while Tether appends directly to the body.
Edit: there's also react-slot-fill which is interesting and can help solve similar problems by allowing to render an element to a reserved element slot that you put anywhere you want in your tree

'*' works as a modifier for the previous item. So 'abc*def' searches for 'ab' followed by 0 or more 'c's follwed by 'def'.
What you probably want is 'abc.*def' which searches for 'abc' followed by any number of characters, follwed by 'def'.
The CSS properties "column-count", "column-gap", and "column-span" can do this in a way that keeps all the columns of the pseudo-table inside the same wrapper (HTML stays nice and neat).
The only caveats are that you can only define 1 column or all columns, and column-span doesn't yet work in Firefox, so some additional CSS is necessary to ensure it will displays correctly. https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_multiple_columns.asp

I use cookie to define if i want desktop or responsive version. In the footer of the page you can find two spans and in general.js is the script to handle the clicks.
<div class="col-xs-6" style="text-align:center;"><span class="make_desktop">Desktop</span></div>
<div class="col-xs-6" style="text-align:center;"><span class="make_responsive">Mobile</span></div>

var exdate = new Date();
exdate.setDate(exdate.getDate() + exdays);
var c_value = escape(value) + ((exdays === null) ? "" : "; expires=" + exdate.toUTCString());
document.cookie = c_name + "=" + c_value + "; path=/";
window.location.reload();
}
$(function() {
$(".make_desktop").click(function() {

});
$(".make_responsive").click(function() {

i ended up splitting all my custom css into two files i don't use bootstrap navigation but my own so that is majority of my custom styles, so it will not resolve your entire problem but it works for me
and i also created non-responsive.css that forces the grid to maintain the large screen version
in case u select mobile i would load / echo
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no">
<!-- Bootstrap core CSS and JS -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<link href="/themes/responsive_lime/bootstrap-3_1_1/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet">
<script src="/themes/responsive_lime/bootstrap-3_1_1/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
and load these stylesheets
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen,print" href="/themes/responsive_lime/css/style.css?modified=14-06-2014-12-27-40" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen,print" href="/themes/responsive_lime/css/style-responsive.css?modified=1402758346" />
in case you select desktop i would load /echo
<meta name="viewport" content="width=1024">
<!-- Bootstrap core CSS and JS -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<link href="/themes/responsive_lime/bootstrap-3_1_1/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet">

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen,print" href="/themes/responsive_lime/css/style.css?modified=14-06-2014-12-27-40" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen,print" href="/themes/responsive_lime/css/non-responsive.css?modified=1402758635" />
the non-responsive.css is the one that has overrides for bootstrap my concern is layout so there is not much in there, given that i handle the navigation in my own way so css for it and the other bits is in my other css files
please note that my setup does behave as desktop even on desktop browsers unlike some other solutions i have seen that will only ignore the viewport that seems to have wotked only on mobile devices for me
You can simply open the phpmyadmin page from your browser, then open any existing database -> go to Privileges tab, click on your root user and then a popup window will appear, you can set your password there.. Hope this Helps.
path = "/folderA/folderB/folderC/folderD/"
last = path.split('/').pop()
I've fixed this…by simply opening a new tab.
Why it wasn't working I'm not entirely sure, but it could have something to do with how Chrome deals with multiple downloads on a page, perhaps it thought they were spam and just ignored them.
There is no JavaScript function to achieve this. However, you could set a boolean value to true
when you add the listener, and false
when you remove it. Then check against this boolean before potentially adding a duplicate event listener.
Possible duplicate: How to check whether dynamically attached event listener exists or not?

In my case, I'm gonna store the time in milliseconds on chrome storage and try to find diff in hours later.
function timeDiffInHours(milliseconds){

Spring Boot already has support for profile based properties.
Simply add an application-[profile].properties
file and specify the profiles to use using the spring.profiles.active
property.
-Dspring.profiles.active=local
This will load the application.properties
and the application-local.properties
with the latter overriding properties from the first.

Note: In hindsight this was a quick and dirty answer, and may not work in all situations. To have a reliable solution, see Tim Down's answer (copy pasting that here as this answer is still getting views and upvotes):
You can't do this reliably with the keyup event. If you want to know something about the character that was typed, you have to use the keypress event instead.
The following example will work all the time in most browsers but there are some edge cases that you should be aware of. For what is in my view the definitive guide on this, see http://unixpapa.com/js/key.html.
$("input").keypress(function(e) { if (e.which !== 0) { alert("Character was typed. It was: " + String.fromCharCode(e.which)); } });
keyup
andkeydown
give you information about the physical key that was pressed. On standard US/UK keyboards in their standard layouts, it looks like there is a correlation between thekeyCode
property of these events and the character they represent. However, this is not reliable: different keyboard layouts will have different mappings.
The following was the original answer, but is not correct and may not work reliably in all situations.
To match the keycode with a word character (eg., a
would match. space
would not)
$("input").keyup(function(event)
{
var c= String.fromCharCode(event.keyCode);
var isWordcharacter = c.match(/\w/);
});
Ok, that was a quick answer. The approach is the same, but beware of keycode issues, see this article in quirksmode.
You've added a button to your DataGridView
and you want to run some code when it's clicked.
Easy peasy - just follow these steps:
First, here's what NOT to do:
I would avoid the suggestions in some of the other answers here and even provided by the documentation at MSDN to hardcode the column index or column name in order to determine if a button was clicked. The click event registers for the entire grid, so somehow you need to determine that a button was clicked, but you should not do so by assuming that your button lives in a particular column name or index... there's an easier way...
Also, be careful which event you want to handle. Again, the documentation and many examples get this wrong. Most examples handle the CellClick
event which will fire:
when any part of a cell is clicked.
...but will also fire whenever the row header is clicked. This necessitates adding extra code simply to determine if the e.RowIndex
value is less than 0
Instead handle the CellContentClick
which only occurs:
when the content within a cell is clicked
For whatever reason, the column header is also considered 'content' within a cell, so we'll still have to check for that below.
So here's what you should do:
First, cast the sender to type DataGridView
to expose it's internal properties at design time. You can modify the type on the parameter, but that can sometimes make adding or removing handlers tricky.
Next, to see if a button was clicked, just check to make sure that the column raising the event is of type DataGridViewButtonColumn
. Because we already cast the sender to type DataGridView
, we can get the Columns
collection and select the current column using e.ColumnIndex
. Then check if that object is of type DataGridViewButtonColumn
.
Of course, if you need to distinguish between multiple buttons per grid, you can then select based on the column name or index, but that shouldn't be your first check. Always make sure a button was clicked first and then handle anything else appropriately. In most cases where you only have a single button per grid, you can jump right off to the races.
C#:
private void dataGridView1_CellContentClick(object sender, DataGridViewCellEventArgs e)
{
var senderGrid = (DataGridView)sender;
if (senderGrid.Columns[e.ColumnIndex] is DataGridViewButtonColumn &&
e.RowIndex >= 0)
{
//TODO - Button Clicked - Execute Code Here
}
}
VB:
Private Sub DataGridView1_CellContentClick(sender As System.Object, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) _
Handles DataGridView1.CellContentClick
Dim senderGrid = DirectCast(sender, DataGridView)
If TypeOf senderGrid.Columns(e.ColumnIndex) Is DataGridViewButtonColumn AndAlso
e.RowIndex >= 0 Then
'TODO - Button Clicked - Execute Code Here
End If
End Sub
If you wanted to have a little bit of fun, you can add your own event to be raised whenever a button is clicked on the DataGrid. You can't add it to the DataGrid itself, without getting messy with inheritance etc., but you can add a custom event to your form and fire it when appropriate. It's a little more code, but the upside is that you've separated out what you want to do when a button is clicked with how to determine if a button was clicked.
Just declare an event, raise it when appropriate, and handle it. It will look like this:
Event DataGridView1ButtonClick(sender As DataGridView, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs)
Private Sub DataGridView1_CellContentClick(sender As System.Object, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) Handles DataGridView1.CellContentClick
Dim senderGrid = DirectCast(sender, DataGridView)
If TypeOf senderGrid.Columns(e.ColumnIndex) Is DataGridViewButtonColumn AndAlso e.RowIndex >= 0 Then
RaiseEvent DataGridView1ButtonClick(senderGrid, e)
End If
End Sub
Private Sub DataGridView1_ButtonClick(sender As DataGridView, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) Handles Me.DataGridView1ButtonClick
'TODO - Button Clicked - Execute Code Here
End Sub
What would be great is if we were working with a grid that just did these things for us. We could answer the initial question easily: you've added a button to your DataGridView and you want to run some code when it's clicked
. Here's an approach that extends the DataGridView
. It might not be worth the hassle of having to deliver a custom control with every library, but at least it maximally reuses the code used for determining if a button was clicked.
Just add this to your assembly:
Public Class DataGridViewExt : Inherits DataGridView
Event CellButtonClick(sender As DataGridView, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs)
Private Sub CellContentClicked(sender As System.Object, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) Handles Me.CellContentClick
If TypeOf Me.Columns(e.ColumnIndex) Is DataGridViewButtonColumn AndAlso e.RowIndex >= 0 Then
RaiseEvent CellButtonClick(Me, e)
End If
End Sub
End Class
That's it. Never touch it again. Make sure your DataGrid is of type DataGridViewExt
which should work exactly the same as a DataGridView. Except it will also raise an extra event that you can handle like this:
Private Sub DataGridView1_ButtonClick(sender As DataGridView, e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs) _
Handles DataGridView1.CellButtonClick
'TODO - Button Clicked - Execute Code Here
End Sub
I know I am late but hope this helps.
Following are the values for the position property.
position : static
This is default. It means the element will occur at a position that it normally would.
#myelem {
position : static;
}
position : fixed
This will set the position of an element with respect to the browser window (viewport). A fixed positioned element will remain in its position even when the page scrolls.
(Ideal if you want scroll-to-top button at the bottom right corner of the page).
#myelem {
position : fixed;
bottom : 30px;
right : 30px;
}
position : relative
To place an element at a new location relative to its original position.
#myelem {
position : relative;
left : 30px;
top : 30px;
}
The above CSS will move the #myelem element 30px to the left and 30px from the top of its actual location.
position : absolute
If we want an element to be placed at an exact position in the page.
#myelem {
position : absolute;
top : 30px;
left : 300px;
}
The above CSS will position #myelem element at a position 30px from top and 300px from the left in the page and it will scroll with the page.
And finally...
position relative + absolute
We can set the position property of a parent element to relative and then set the position property of the child element to absolute. This way we can position the child relative to the parent at an absolute position.
#container {
position : relative;
}
#div-2 {
position : absolute;
top : 0;
right : 0;
}
We can see in the above image the #div-2 element is positioned at the top-right corner inside the #container element.
GitHub: You can find the HTML of the above image here and CSS here.
Hope this tutorial helps.
"-F" is a command line argument, not AWK syntax. Try:
echo "1: " | awk -F ":" '/1/ {print $1}'
<body>
<div style="width:800px; margin:0 auto;">
centered content
</div>
</body>
Works particularly great for Google Earth Studio images:
ffmpeg -framerate 24 -i Project%03d.png Project.mp4
The difference is in the arguments. It's very common to generate a random number from a uniform distribution in the range [0.0, 1.0), so random.random()
just does this. Use random.uniform(a, b)
to specify a different range.
You have two choices here. The first is to have two result sets which will set 'Test1' or 'Test2' based on the condition in the WHERE
clause, and then UNION
them together:
select
'Test1', *
from
TABLE
Where
CCC='D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...)
UNION
select
'Test2', *
from
TABLE
Where
CCC<>'D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...)
This might be an issue, because you are going to effectively scan/seek on TABLE twice.
The other solution would be to select from the table once, and set 'Test1' or 'Test2' based on the conditions in TABLE:
select
case
when CCC='D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...) then 'Test1'
when CCC<>'D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...) then 'Test2'
end,
*
from
TABLE
Where
(CCC='D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...)) or
(CCC<>'D' AND DDD='X' AND exists(select ...))
The catch here being that you will have to duplicate the filter conditions in the CASE
statement and the WHERE
statement.
There are three distinct aspects in a multilingual site:
While they all interconnected in different ways, from CMS point of view they are managed using different UI elements and stored differently. You seem to be confident in your implementation and understanding of the first two. The question was about the latter aspect - "URL Translation? Should we do this or not? and in what way?"
A very important thing is, don't get fancy with IDN. Instead favor transliteration (also: transcription and romanization). While at first glance IDN seems viable option for international URLs, it actually does not work as advertised for two reasons:
'?'
or 'ž'
into '%D1%87'
and '%C5%BE'
I actually tried to IDN approach few years ago in a Yii based project (horrible framework, IMHO). I encountered both of the above mentioned problems before scraping that solution. Also, I suspect that it might be an attack vector.
Basically you have two choices, that could be abstracted as:
http://site.tld/[:query]
: where [:query]
determines both language and content choice
http://site.tld/[:language]/[:query]
: where [:language]
part of URL defines the choice of language and [:query]
is used only to identify the content
Lets say you pick http://site.tld/[:query]
.
In that case you have one primary source of language: the content of [:query]
segment; and two additional sources:
$_COOKIE['lang']
for that particular browserFirst, you need to match the query to one of defined routing patterns (if your pick is Laravel, then read here). On successful match of pattern you then need to find the language.
You would have to go through all the segments of the pattern. Find the potential translations for all of those segments and determine which language was used. The two additional sources (cookie and header) would be used to resolve routing conflicts, when (not "if") they arise.
Take for example: http://site.tld/blog/novinka
.
That's transliteration of "????, ???????"
, that in English means approximately "blog", "latest"
.
As you can already notice, in Russian "????" will be transliterated as "blog". Which means that for the first part of [:query]
you (in the best case scenario) will end up with ['en', 'ru']
list of possible languages. Then you take next segment - "novinka". That might have only one language on the list of possibilities: ['ru']
.
When the list has one item, you have successfully found the language.
But if you end up with 2 (example: Russian and Ukrainian) or more possibilities .. or 0 possibilities, as a case might be. You will have to use cookie and/or header to find the correct option.
And if all else fails, you pick the site's default language.
The alternative is to use URL, that can be defined as http://site.tld/[:language]/[:query]
. In this case, when translating query, you do not need to guess the language, because at that point you already know which to use.
There is also a secondary source of language: the cookie value. But here there is no point in messing with Accept-Language header, because you are not dealing with unknown amount of possible languages in case of "cold start" (when user first time opens site with custom query).
Instead you have 3 simple, prioritized options:
[:language]
segment is set, use it$_COOKIE['lang']
is set, use itWhen you have the language, you simply attempt to translate the query, and if translation fails, use the "default value" for that particular segment (based on routing results).
Yes, technically you can combine both approaches, but that would complicate the process and only accommodate people who want to manually change URL of http://site.tld/en/news
to http://site.tld/de/news
and expect the news page to change to German.
But even this case could probable be mitigated using cookie value (which would contain information about previous choice of language), to implement with less magic and hope.
As you might already guessed, I would recommend http://site.tld/[:language]/[:query]
as the more sensible option.
Also in real word situation you would have 3rd major part in URL: "title". As in name of the product in online shop or headline of article in news site.
Example: http://site.tld/en/news/article/121415/EU-as-global-reserve-currency
In this case '/news/article/121415'
would be the query, and the 'EU-as-global-reserve-currency'
is title. Purely for SEO purposes.
Kinda, but not by default.
I am not too familiar with it, but from what I have seen, Laravel uses simple pattern-based routing mechanism. To implement multilingual URLs you will probably have to extend core class(es), because multilingual routing need access to different forms of storage (database, cache and/or configuration files).
As a result of all you would end up with two valuable pieces of information: current language and translated segments of query. These values then can be used to dispatch to the class(es) which will produce the result.
Basically, the following URL: http://site.tld/ru/blog/novinka
(or the version without '/ru'
) gets turned into something like
$parameters = [
'language' => 'ru',
'classname' => 'blog',
'method' => 'latest',
];
Which you just use for dispatching:
$instance = new {$parameter['classname']};
$instance->{'get'.$parameters['method']}( $parameters );
.. or some variation of it, depending on the particular implementation.
Just type
unlink [SOCKET NAME]
in the terminal, then the error should no longer exist.
If you are searching these same routes for laravel 7 version you'll find it here Vendor/laravel/ui/src/AuthRouteMethods.php
Verbatim use of caller's class like MyClass.class.getName()
actually does the job, but is prone to copy/paste errors if you propagate this code to numerous classes/subclasses where you need this class name.
And Tom Hawtin's recipe is in fact not bad, one just needs to cook it the right way :)
In case you have a base class with a static method that may be called from subclasses, and this static method needs to know the actual caller's class, this may be achieved like the following:
class BaseClass {
static sharedStaticMethod (String callerClassName, Object... otherArgs) {
useCallerClassNameAsYouWish (callerClassName);
// and direct use of 'new Object() { }.getClass().getEnclosingClass().getName()'
// instead of 'callerClassName' is not going to help here,
// as it returns "BaseClass"
}
}
class SubClass1 extends BaseClass {
static someSubclassStaticMethod () {
// this call of the shared method is prone to copy/paste errors
sharedStaticMethod (SubClass1.class.getName(),
other_arguments);
// and this call is safe to copy/paste
sharedStaticMethod (new Object() { }.getClass().getEnclosingClass().getName(),
other_arguments);
}
}
Following ae the steps i followed to uninstall and reinstall. Which worked for me.
First remove the installed postgres :-
sudo apt-get purge postgr*
sudo apt-get autoremove
Then install 'synaptic':
sudo apt-get install synaptic
sudo apt-get update
Then install postgres
sudo apt-get install postgresql postgresql-contrib
Sometimes the field is not recognized by crystal reports as DATE, so you can add a formula with function: Date({YourField}), And add it to the report, now when you open the format object dialog you will find the date formatting options.
In my case this happened in Xcode 11 beta 3 with Swift 5 and using SwiftUI.
My View has a @State property like this:
@State private var normInfo: NormInfo?
the issue got solved by explicitly initializing it with nil
.
Why not just use, toggleClass on click?
js:
$(this).toggleClass("up");
css:
button.up {
-webkit-transform: rotate(180deg);
-moz-transform: rotate(180deg);
-ms-transform: rotate(180deg);
-o-transform: rotate(180deg);
transform: rotate(180deg);
/* IE6–IE9 */
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Matrix(M11=0.9914448613738104, M12=-0.13052619222005157,M21=0.13052619222005157, M22=0.9914448613738104, sizingMethod='auto expand');
zoom: 1;
}
you can also add this to the css:
button{
-webkit-transition: all 500ms ease-in-out;
-moz-transition: all 500ms ease-in-out;
-o-transition: all 500ms ease-in-out;
-ms-transition: all 500ms ease-in-out;
}
which will add the animation.
PS...
to answer your original question:
you said that it rotates but never stops. When using set timeout you need to make sure you have a condition that will not call settimeout or else it will run forever. So for your code:
<script type="text/javascript">
$(function() {
var $elie = $("#bkgimg");
rotate(0);
function rotate(degree) {
// For webkit browsers: e.g. Chrome
$elie.css({ WebkitTransform: 'rotate(' + degree + 'deg)'});
// For Mozilla browser: e.g. Firefox
$elie.css({ '-moz-transform': 'rotate(' + degree + 'deg)'});
/* add a condition here for the extremity */
if(degree < 180){
// Animate rotation with a recursive call
setTimeout(function() { rotate(++degree); },65);
}
}
});
</script>
How about this :
@client = TinyTds::Client.new(
:adapter => 'mysql2',
:host => 'host',
:database => 'siteconfig_development',
:username => 'username',
:password => 'password'
sql = "SELECT * FROM users"
result = @client.execute(sql)
results.each do |row|
puts row[0]
end
You need to have TinyTds gem installed, since you didn't specify it in your question I didn't use Active Record
The answers provided above are good but let me just chip in, useState
is async so if your next state is dependent on your previous state it is best you pass useState
a callback. See the example below:
import { useState } from 'react';
function Example() {
const [count, setCount] = useState(0);
return (
<div>
<p>You clicked {count} times</p>
// passing a callback to useState to update count
<button onClick={() => setCount(count => count + 1)}>
Click me
</button>
</div>
);
}
This is the recommended way if your new state depends on computation from the old state.
My attempt uses expectimax like other solutions above, but without bitboards. Nneonneo's solution can check 10millions of moves which is approximately a depth of 4 with 6 tiles left and 4 moves possible (2*6*4)4. In my case, this depth takes too long to explore, I adjust the depth of expectimax search according to the number of free tiles left:
depth = free > 7 ? 1 : (free > 4 ? 2 : 3)
The scores of the boards are computed with the weighted sum of the square of the number of free tiles and the dot product of the 2D grid with this:
[[10,8,7,6.5],
[.5,.7,1,3],
[-.5,-1.5,-1.8,-2],
[-3.8,-3.7,-3.5,-3]]
which forces to organize tiles descendingly in a sort of snake from the top left tile.

(?<!1\.2\.3\.4).*Has exploded
You need to run this with -P to have negative lookbehind (Perl regular expression), so the command is:
grep -P '(?<!1\.2\.3\.4).*Has exploded' test.log
Try this. It uses negative lookbehind to ignore the line if it is preceeded by 1.2.3.4
. Hope that helps!
Keep it simple
dataGridView1.Columns.Add("newColumnName", "Column Name in Text");
To add rows
dataGridView1.Rows.Add("Value for column#1"); // [,"column 2",...]
Understanding JSON
JSON is just a text format that most REST APIs use to return their data. Another common format is XML, but XML is quite a bit more verbose.
Here’s a small example of JSON:
// JSON object
{
"name": "John",
"age": 20
}
// JSON array
[
{
"name": "John",
"age": 20
},
{
"name": "Peter",
"age": 22
}
]
Notice that the snippet starts with a brace {
, which indicates an object. JSON can also start as an array, which uses the square bracket [
symbol to signify the start of the array. JSON needs to be properly formatted, so all beginning {
and [
symbols need to have their ending symbols: }
and ]
.
JSON can contain object or array. An object in JSON is wrapped inside the braces { … }
, while an array is wrapped inside square brackets [ … ]
.
JSON structures data by key-value. Key is always a string, but value could be anything (String, number, JSON object, JSON array…). This will affect the way we parse JSON in the next steps.
It's an issue with popper.js
file. What I found at the official site was that bundle files include popper in itself but not jquery. I managed to fix it by adding link to these files:
bootstrap.bundle.js
bootstrap.bundle.min.js
I removed popper.js
however since it comes within the bundle file.
Imagine d.getId is a Long, then wrap like this:
BigInteger l = BigInteger.valueOf(d.getId());
You need to install the provisioning profile (drag and drop it into iTunes). Then drag and drop the .ipa. Ensure you device is set to sync apps, and try again.
Using Javier's approach to rename my app works perfectly. There is just one small bit missing in the end that I wanted add.
I still ended up getting a Mach-O Linker Error after a Clean and Rebuild. To resolve this; select yourProject(in the Project Navigator) > under Targets select yourProjectTests(the test target) > under the General tab, update the Host Application's value to the newly renamed project.
You can design a lowpass Butterworth filter in runtime, using butter()
function, and then apply that to the signal.
fc = 300; % Cut off frequency
fs = 1000; % Sampling rate
[b,a] = butter(6,fc/(fs/2)); % Butterworth filter of order 6
x = filter(b,a,signal); % Will be the filtered signal
Highpass and bandpass filters are also possible with this method. See https://www.mathworks.com/help/signal/ref/butter.html
I have a simple bash script I created for this it just means running it on your file before use: https://github.com/antonosmond/subber
Basically just create your compose file using double curly braces to denote environment variables e.g:
app:
build: "{{APP_PATH}}"
ports:
- "{{APP_PORT_MAP}}"
Anything in double curly braces will be replaced with the environment variable of the same name so if I had the following environment variables set:
APP_PATH=~/my_app/build
APP_PORT_MAP=5000:5000
on running subber docker-compose.yml
the resulting file would look like:
app:
build: "~/my_app/build"
ports:
- "5000:5000"

Calling the finish()
method on an Activity has your desired effect on that current activity.
SELECT group, date, checks
FROM table
WHERE checks > 0
GROUP BY group HAVING date = max(date)
should work.
You can center a view as a percentage of the screen size.
This example uses 50% of width and height:

This was done using ConstraintLayout version 1.1.3. Don't forget to add it to your dependencies in the gradle, and increase the version if there is a new version out there:

}
I know It is an old message , but i want to add my case.
If you use more than one profile(dev,test,prod...), check your execute profile.
You could define a constant with the path to the root directory of your project, and then put that at the beginning of the path.
Generally, when you find yourself fighting against a framework standard practices, it is time to reconsider your approach. In this case, the behavior of ModelState. For instance, when you don't want model state after a POST, consider a redirect to the get.
[HttpPost]

public ActionResult GenerateSeoTitle(int id) {
var page = SomeRepository.Find(id);

EDITED to answer culture comment:
Here is what I use to handle a multi-cultural MVC application. First the route handler subclasses:
public class SingleCultureMvcRouteHandler : MvcRouteHandler {
protected override IHttpHandler GetHttpHandler(RequestContext requestContext)
{
var culture = requestContext.RouteData.Values["culture"].ToString();
if (string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(culture))
{
culture = "en";
}
var ci = new CultureInfo(culture);
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = ci;
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = CultureInfo.CreateSpecificCulture(ci.Name);
return base.GetHttpHandler(requestContext);
}
}
public class MultiCultureMvcRouteHandler : MvcRouteHandler
{
protected override IHttpHandler GetHttpHandler(RequestContext requestContext)
{
var culture = requestContext.RouteData.Values["culture"].ToString();
if (string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(culture))
{
culture = "en";
}
var ci = new CultureInfo(culture);
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = ci;
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = CultureInfo.CreateSpecificCulture(ci.Name);
return base.GetHttpHandler(requestContext);
}
}
public class CultureConstraint : IRouteConstraint
{
private string[] _values;
public CultureConstraint(params string[] values)
{
this._values = values;
}
public bool Match(HttpContextBase httpContext,Route route,string parameterName,
RouteValueDictionary values, RouteDirection routeDirection)
{
// Get the value called "parameterName" from the
// RouteValueDictionary called "value"
string value = values[parameterName].ToString();
// Return true is the list of allowed values contains
// this value.
return _values.Contains(value);
}
}
public enum Culture
{
es = 2,
en = 1
}
And here is how I wire up the routes. After creating the routes, I prepend my subagent (example.com/subagent1, example.com/subagent2, etc) then the culture code. If all you need is the culture, simply remove the subagent from the route handlers and routes.

Here's an alternative solution.
If you're doing a lot of changes to the DOM (add/removing elements and classes), there could be several things that need to be "reset." Rather than clearing each element when the modal closes, you could reset the entire modal everytime it's reopened.
Sample code:
(function(){
var template = null
$('.modal').on('show.bs.modal', function (event) {
if (template == null) {
template = $(this).html()
} else {
$(this).html(template)
}
// other initialization here, if you want to
})
})()
You can still write your initial state in HTML without worrying too much about what will happen to it later. You can write your UI JS code without worrying about having to clean up later. Each time the modal is relaunched it will be reset to the exact same state it was in the first time.
Edit: Here's a version that should handle multiple modals (I haven't tested it)...
(function(){
$('.modal').on('show.bs.modal', function (event) {
if (!$(this).data('template')) {
$(this).data('template', $(this).html())
} else {
$(this).html($this.data('template'))
}
// other initialization here, if you want to
})
})()
Try this:
excelBook.Close(0);
excelApp.Quit();
When closing the work-book, you have three optional parameters:
Workbook.close SaveChanges, filename, routeworkbook
Workbook.Close(false)
or if you are doing late binding, it sometimes is easier to use zero
Workbook.Close(0)
That is how I've done it when automating closing of workbooks.
Also I went and looked up the documentation for it, and found it here: Excel Workbook Close
Thanks,
I had to include "PROJECT_NAME/osdep.h" and that includes the os specific configurations.
I would look in other files using the types you are interested in and find where/how they are defined (by looking at includes).
In my case neither M
or G
helped, so I have converted allocated memory to bytes using: https://www.gbmb.org/mb-to-bytes
4096M = 4294967296
php.ini:
memory_limit = 4294967296
add this key key from dropdownlist in "info.plist" and voila you will no more see top bar that includes elements something like GSM,wifi icon etc.
There isn't a 1-1 correspondence between IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (nor between IP addresses and devices), so what you're asking for generally isn't possible.
There is a particular range of IPv6 addresses that actually represent the IPv4 address space, but general IPv6 addresses will not be from this range.
You can merely use an empty class as an instance to store reference objects because internally object attributes are stored in an instance dictionary. See the example.
class RefsObj(object):
"A class which helps to create references to variables."
pass
...
# an example of usage
def change_ref_var(ref_obj):
ref_obj.val = 24
ref_obj = RefsObj()
ref_obj.val = 1
print(ref_obj.val) # or print ref_obj.val for python2
change_ref_var(ref_obj)
print(ref_obj.val)
Am going to try and add value to this very good question and to build on @BrittonKerin's question in one of the comments under @David Wolever's fantastic answer. Wanted to share here because I had the same challenge as @BrittonKerin and I got something working (i.e. just want to run a piece of code only IF the table doesn't exist).
# for completeness lets do the routine thing of connections and cursors

In Javascript method names are camel case, so it's replace
, not Replace
:
$scope.newString = oldString.replace("stackover","NO");
Note that contrary to how the .NET Replace
method works, the Javascript replace
method replaces only the first occurrence if you are using a string as first parameter. If you want to replace all occurrences you need to use a regular expression so that you can specify the global (g) flag:
$scope.newString = oldString.replace(/stackover/g,"NO");
See this example.
Some time this error in Joomla appear because some thing incorrect with SESSION or coockie. That may because incorrect HTTPd server setting or because some before CURL or Server http requests

You'd better not transpose the data.frame while the name column is in it - all numeric values will then be turned into strings!
Here's a solution that keeps numbers as numbers:
# first remember the names
n <- df.aree$name
# transpose all but the first column (name)
df.aree <- as.data.frame(t(df.aree[,-1]))
colnames(df.aree) <- n
df.aree$myfactor <- factor(row.names(df.aree))
str(df.aree) # Check the column types
First of all, this what is written in documentation. I think it is one of your class fields, not the main one - and how you want deserialiser to construct it back w/o parameterless construction ?
I think there is a workaround to make constructor private.
Just simply add or die(mysqli_error($db));
at the end of your query, this will print the mysqli error.
mysqli_query($db,"INSERT INTO stockdetails (`itemdescription`,`itemnumber`,`sellerid`,`purchasedate`,`otherinfo`,`numberofitems`,`isitdelivered`,`price`) VALUES ('$itemdescription','$itemnumber','$sellerid','$purchasedate','$otherinfo','$numberofitems','$numberofitemsused','$isitdelivered','$price')") or die(mysqli_error($db));
As a side note I'd say you are at risk of mysql injection
, check here How can I prevent SQL injection in PHP?. You should really use prepared statements to avoid any risk.
I know that this is too late but here is my approach:
<GridViewColumn x:Name="GridHeaderLocalSize" Width="100">
<GridViewColumn.Header>
<GridViewColumnHeader HorizontalContentAlignment="Right">
<Grid Width="Auto" HorizontalAlignment="Right">
<Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
<ColumnDefinition Width="100"/>
</Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
<TextBlock Grid.Column="0" Text="Local size" TextAlignment="Right" Padding="0,0,5,0"/>
</Grid>
</GridViewColumnHeader>
</GridViewColumn.Header>
<GridViewColumn.CellTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<TextBlock Width="{Binding ElementName=GridHeaderLocalSize, Path=Width, FallbackValue=100}" HorizontalAlignment="Right" TextAlignment="Right" Padding="0,0,5,0" Text="Text" >
</TextBlock>
</DataTemplate>
</GridViewColumn.CellTemplate>
The main idea is to bind the width of the cellTemplete element to the width of the ViewGridColumn. Width=100 is default width used until first resize. There isn't any code behind. Everything is in xaml.
I wrote an article on topis how to [manually install curl on debian linu][1]x.
[1]: http://www.jasom.net/how-to-install-curl-command-manually-on-debian-linux. This is its shortcut:
And restart Apache. If you will have an error during point 6, try to run apt-get install build-essential.
Command 1.
git commit --amend -m "New and correct message"
Then,
Command 2.
git push origin --force
Neither scipy.io.savemat
, nor scipy.io.loadmat
work for MATLAB arrays version 7.3. But the good part is that MATLAB version 7.3 files are hdf5 datasets. So they can be read using a number of tools, including NumPy.
For Python, you will need the h5py
extension, which requires HDF5 on your system.
import numpy as np
import h5py
f = h5py.File('somefile.mat','r')
data = f.get('data/variable1')
data = np.array(data) # For converting to a NumPy array
If you store the padding in resource files, you can simply call
int padding = getResources().getDimensionPixelOffset(R.dimen.padding);
It does the conversion for you.
For a package manager that can install and manage multiple versions of python, these are good choices:
The advantages to these package managers is that it may be easier to set them up and install multiple versions of python with them than it is to install python from source. They also provide commands for easily changing the available python version(s) using shims and setting the python version per-directory.
This disadvantage is that, by default, they are installed at the user-level (inside your home directory) and require a little bit of user-level configuration - you'll need to edit your ~/.profile
and ~/.bashrc
or similar files. This means that it is not easy to use them to install multiple python versions globally for all users. In order to do this, you can install from source alongside the OS's existing python version.
You'll need root privileges for this method.
See the official python documentation for building from source for additional considerations and options.
/usr/local
is the designated location for a system administrator to install shared (system-wide) software, so it's subdirectories are a good place to download the python source and install. See section 4.9 of the Linux Foundation's File Hierarchy Standard.
Install any build dependencies. On Debian-based systems, use:
apt update
apt install build-essential zlib1g-dev libncurses5-dev libgdbm-dev libnss3-dev libssl-dev libsqlite3-dev libreadline-dev libffi-dev libbz2-dev
Choose which python version you want to install. See the Python Source Releases page for a listing.
Download and unzip file in /usr/local/src
, replacing X.X.X
below with the python version (i.e. 3.8.2
).
cd /usr/local/src
wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/X.X.X/Python-X.X.X.tgz
tar vzxf Python-X.X.X.tgz
Before building and installing, set the CFLAGS
environment variable with C compiler flags necessary (see GNU's make
documentation). This is usually not necessary for general use, but if, for example, you were going to create a uWSGI plugin with this python version, you might want to set the flags, -fPIC
, with the following:
export CFLAGS='-fPIC'
Change the working directory to the unzipped python source directory, and configure the build. You'll probably want to use the --enable-optimizations
option on the ./configure
command for profile guided optimization. Use --prefix=/usr/local
to install to the proper subdirectories (/usr/local/bin
, /usr/local/lib
, etc.).
cd Python-X.X.X
./configure --enable-optimizations --prefix=/usr/local
Build the project with make
and install with make altinstall
to avoid overriding any files when installing multiple versions. See the warning on this page of the python build documentation.
make -j 4
make altinstall
Then you should be able to run your new python and pip versions with pythonX.X
and pipX.X
(i.e python3.8
and pip3.8
). Note that if the minor version of your new installation is the same as the OS's version (for example if you were installing python3.8.4 and the OS used python3.8.2), then you would need to specify the entire path (/usr/local/bin/pythonX.X
) or set an alias to use this version.
I went through the same situation and the fix was quiet easy. Just try removing the following import statement.
import android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity;
A message will be prompted with the below code, also asking you to press alt+enter.
import androidx.appcompat.app.AppCompatActivity;
Just press alt+enter and remove the previous import statement completely.
Basically this problem arises in new version of Android Studio.
Here is an alternative way to get an object's property value:
write-host $(get-something).SomeProp
First, you have to download a font type...for example: https://www.wfonts.com/font/microsoft-sans-serif.
After that, use this code to draw the text:
from PIL import Image
from PIL import ImageFont
from PIL import ImageDraw
img = Image.open("filename.jpg")
draw = ImageDraw.Draw(img)
font = ImageFont.truetype(r'filepath\..\sans-serif.ttf', 16)
draw.text((0, 0),"Draw This Text",(0,0,0),font=font) # this will draw text with Blackcolor and 16 size
img.save('sample-out.jpg')
change p:suffix=".jsp" value acordingly otherwise we can develope custom view resolver
No.
The content-type should be whatever it is known to be, if you know it. application/octet-stream
is defined as "arbitrary binary data" in RFC 2046, and there's a definite overlap here of it being appropriate for entities whose sole intended purpose is to be saved to disk, and from that point on be outside of anything "webby". Or to look at it from another direction; the only thing one can safely do with application/octet-stream is to save it to file and hope someone else knows what it's for.
You can combine the use of Content-Disposition
with other content-types, such as image/png
or even text/html
to indicate you want saving rather than display. It used to be the case that some browsers would ignore it in the case of text/html
but I think this was some long time ago at this point (and I'm going to bed soon so I'm not going to start testing a whole bunch of browsers right now; maybe later).
RFC 2616 also mentions the possibility of extension tokens, and these days most browsers recognise inline
to mean you do want the entity displayed if possible (that is, if it's a type the browser knows how to display, otherwise it's got no choice in the matter). This is of course the default behaviour anyway, but it means that you can include the filename
part of the header, which browsers will use (perhaps with some adjustment so file-extensions match local system norms for the content-type in question, perhaps not) as the suggestion if the user tries to save.
Hence:
Content-Type: application/octet-stream
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="picture.png"
Means "I don't know what the hell this is. Please save it as a file, preferably named picture.png".
Content-Type: image/png
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="picture.png"
Means "This is a PNG image. Please save it as a file, preferably named picture.png".
Content-Type: image/png
Content-Disposition: inline; filename="picture.png"
Means "This is a PNG image. Please display it unless you don't know how to display PNG images. Otherwise, or if the user chooses to save it, we recommend the name picture.png for the file you save it as".
Of those browsers that recognise inline
some would always use it, while others would use it if the user had selected "save link as" but not if they'd selected "save" while viewing (or at least IE used to be like that, it may have changed some years ago).
All the above answers are correct. Just providing with your dataset to find perfect divisor:
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
int arr[7] = {3,5,7,8,9,17,19};
int j = 51;
int i = 0;
for (i=0 ; i < 7; i++) {
if (j % arr[i] == 0)
printf("%d is the perfect divisor of %d\n", arr[i], j);
}
return 0;
}
Just Overload the default constructor of Model class and pass any relevant parameter which you may or may not use. By this you can easily supply default values for attributes. Below is an example.
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.ComponentModel;
using System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
namespace Aim.Data.Domain
{
[MetadataType(typeof(LoginModel))]
public partial class Login
{
public Login(bool status)
{
this.CreatedDate = DateTime.Now;
this.ModifiedDate = DateTime.Now;
this.Culture = "EN-US";
this.IsDefaultPassword = status;
this.IsActive = status;
this.LoginLogs = new HashSet<LoginLog>();
this.LoginLogHistories = new HashSet<LoginLogHistory>();
}
}
public class LoginModel
{
[Key]
[ScaffoldColumn(false)]
public int Id { get; set; }
[Required]
public string LoginCode { get; set; }
[Required]
public string Password { get; set; }
public string LastPassword { get; set; }
public int UserGroupId { get; set; }
public int FalseAttempt { get; set; }
public bool IsLocked { get; set; }
public int CreatedBy { get; set; }
public System.DateTime CreatedDate { get; set; }
public Nullable<int> ModifiedBy { get; set; }
public Nullable<System.DateTime> ModifiedDate { get; set; }
public string Culture { get; set; }
public virtual ICollection<LoginLog> LoginLogs { get; set; }
public virtual ICollection<LoginLogHistory> LoginLogHistories { get; set; }
}
}
For this problem, I do a help function like this:
const char* name(Id id) {
struct Entry {
Id id;
const char* name;
};
static const Entry entries[] = {
{ ErrorA, "ErrorA" },
{ ErrorB, "ErrorB" },
{ 0, 0 }
}
for (int it = 0; it < gui::SiCount; ++it) {
if (entries[it].id == id) {
return entries[it].name;
}
}
return 0;
}
Linear search is usually more efficient than std::map
for small collections like this.
chdmod works for my under debian (proxmox):
# chmod a+rw /dev/ttyACM0
For installing arduino IDE:
# apt-get install arduino arduino-core arduino-mk
Add the user to dialout group:
# gpasswd -a user dialout
Restart Linux.
Try with the File > Examples > 01.Basic > Blink, change the 2 delays to delay(60) and click the upload button for testing on arduino, led must blink faster. ;)
eval
is not an acceptable practice if your directory names can be generated by untrusted sources. See BashFAQ #48 for more on why eval
should not be used, and BashFAQ #50 for more on the root cause of this problem and its proper solutions, some of which are touched on below:
If you need to build up your commands over time, use arrays:
tar_cmd=( tar cv "$directory" )
split_cmd=( split -b 1024m - "$backup_file" )
encrypt_cmd=( openssl des3 -salt )
"${tar_cmd[@]}" | "${encrypt_cmd[@]}" | "${split_cmd[@]}"
Alternately, if this is just about defining your commands in one central place, use functions:
tar_cmd() { tar cv "$directory"; }
split_cmd() { split -b 1024m - "$backup_file"; }
encrypt_cmd() { openssl des3 -salt; }
tar_cmd | split_cmd | encrypt_cmd
Postman is a good solution and so is php fiddle. However to avoid putting in the GCM URL and the header information every time, you can also use this nifty GCM Notification Test Tool
You have to chose 'Fill' in the Dock property.
Example using Array.filter
:
var str = 'a,b,hi,ma,n,yu';
var strArr = Array.prototype.filter.call(str, eachChar => eachChar !== ',');
Working on Mac I followed the answer of Sean Patrick Floyd placing a settings.xml like above in my user folder /Users/user/.m2/
But this did not help. So I opened a Terminal and did a ls -la on the folder. This was showing
-rw-r--r--@
thus staff and everone can at least read the file. So I wondered if the message isn't wrong and if the real cause is the lack of write permissions. I set the file to:
-rw-r--rw-@
This did it. The message disappeared.
Try this code. I also faced the same problem, but some how I solved it.

Linq With Or Condition by using Lambda expression you can do as below
DataTable dtEmp = new DataTable();
dtEmp.Columns.Add("EmpID", typeof(int));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("EmpName", typeof(string));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("Sal", typeof(decimal));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("JoinDate", typeof(DateTime));
dtEmp.Columns.Add("DeptNo", typeof(int));
dtEmp.Rows.Add(1, "Rihan", 10000, new DateTime(2001, 2, 1), 10);

Quick solution:
var _cf = (function() {
function _shift(x) {
var parts = x.toString().split('.');
return (parts.length < 2) ? 1 : Math.pow(10, parts[1].length);
}
return function() {
return Array.prototype.reduce.call(arguments, function (prev, next) { return prev === undefined || next === undefined ? undefined : Math.max(prev, _shift (next)); }, -Infinity);
};
})();
Math.a = function () {
var f = _cf.apply(null, arguments); if(f === undefined) return undefined;
function cb(x, y, i, o) { return x + f * y; }
return Array.prototype.reduce.call(arguments, cb, 0) / f;
};
Math.s = function (l,r) { var f = _cf(l,r); return (l * f - r * f) / f; };
Math.m = function () {
var f = _cf.apply(null, arguments);
function cb(x, y, i, o) { return (x*f) * (y*f) / (f * f); }
return Array.prototype.reduce.call(arguments, cb, 1);
};
Math.d = function (l,r) { var f = _cf(l,r); return (l * f) / (r * f); };
> Math.m(0.1, 0.2)

Here is a solution I use in one of my project.
network_utils.telnet
import socket
from timeit import default_timer as timer
def telnet(hostname, port=23, timeout=1):
start = timer()
connection = socket.socket()
connection.settimeout(timeout)
try:
connection.connect((hostname, port))
end = timer()
delta = end - start
except (socket.timeout, socket.gaierror) as error:
logger.debug('telnet error: ', error)
delta = None
finally:
connection.close()
return {
hostname: delta
}
def test_telnet_is_null_when_host_unreachable(self):
hostname = 'unreachable'
response = network_utils.telnet(hostname)
self.assertDictEqual(response, {'unreachable': None})
def test_telnet_give_time_when_reachable(self):
hostname = '127.0.0.1'
response = network_utils.telnet(hostname, port=22)
self.assertGreater(response[hostname], 0)
The consequence of this is that you may need a rather insane-looking query, e. g.,
SELECT [dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngRecordID] AS lngRecordID
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[vcrSourceWorkbookName] AS vcrSourceWorkbookName
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[vcrImportFileName] AS vcrImportFileName
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[dtmLastWriteTime] AS dtmLastWriteTime
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngNRecords] AS lngNRecords
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngSizeOnDisk] AS lngSizeOnDisk
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngLastIdentity] AS lngLastIdentity
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[dtmImportCompletedTime] AS dtmImportCompletedTime
,MIN ( [tblTimeRecords].[dtmActivity_Date] ) AS dtmPeriodFirstWorkDate
,MAX ( [tblTimeRecords].[dtmActivity_Date] ) AS dtmPeriodLastWorkDate
,SUM ( [tblTimeRecords].[decMan_Hours_Actual] ) AS decHoursWorked
,SUM ( [tblTimeRecords].[decAdjusted_Hours] ) AS decHoursBilled
FROM [dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles]
LEFT JOIN [dbo].[tblTimeRecords]
ON [dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngRecordID] = [dbo].[tblTimeRecords].[lngTimeSheetExportFile]
GROUP BY [dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngRecordID]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[vcrSourceWorkbookName]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[vcrImportFileName]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[dtmLastWriteTime]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngNRecords]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngSizeOnDisk]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[lngLastIdentity]
,[dbo].[tblTimeSheetExportFiles].[dtmImportCompletedTime]
Since the primary table is a summary table, its primary key handles the only grouping or ordering that is truly necessary. Hence, the GROUP BY clause exists solely to satisfy the query parser.
If the pop-up's document is from a different domain, this is simply not possible.
Update April 2015: I was wrong about this: if you own both domains, you can use window.postMessage
and the message
event in pretty much all browsers that are relevant today.
If not, there's still no way you'll be able to make this work cross-browser without some help from the document being loaded into the pop-up. You need to be able to detect a change in the pop-up that occurs once it has loaded, which could be a variable that JavaScript in the pop-up page sets when it handles its own load
event, or if you have some control of it you could add a call to a function in the opener.
Using ddl.Items.Clear()
will clear the dropdownlist however you must be sure that your dropdownlist is not set to:
AppendDataBoundItems="True"
This option will cause the rebound data to be appended to the existing list which will NOT be cleared prior to binding.
SOLUTION
Add AppendDataBoundItems="False"
to your dropdownlist.
Now when data is rebound it will automatically clear all existing data beforehand.
Protected Sub ddl1_SelectedIndexChanged(sender As Object, e As EventArgs)
ddl2.DataSource = sql2
ddl2.DataBind()
End Sub
NOTE: This may not be suitable in all situations as appenddatbound items can cause your dropdown to append its own data on each change of the list.
TOP TIP
Still want a default list item adding to your dropdown but need to rebind data?
Use AppendDataBoundItems="False"
to prevent duplication data on postback and then directly after binding your dropdownlist insert a new default list item.
ddl.Items.Insert(0, New ListItem("Select ...", ""))
fwiw, finding and fixing a memory hog with something like memwatch might help.
This is my solution to add a css rule at the end of the last style sheet list:
var css = new function()
{
function addStyleSheet()
{
let head = document.head;
let style = document.createElement("style");
head.appendChild(style);
}
this.insert = function(rule)
{
if(document.styleSheets.length == 0) { addStyleSheet(); }
let sheet = document.styleSheets[document.styleSheets.length - 1];
let rules = sheet.rules;
sheet.insertRule(rule, rules.length);
}
}
css.insert("body { background-color: red }");
If you are using Java 1.5 or later then this is an iterative binary GCD algorithm which uses Integer.numberOfTrailingZeros()
to reduce the number of checks and iterations required.

If you declared different variables then use following simple method:
Int salary=2000;
String abc="I Love Pakistan";
Double pi=3.14;
Console.Writeline=salary+"/n"+abc+"/n"+pi;
Console.readkey();
There are three floating point types:
A simple Venn diagram will explain about: The set of values of the types
Try:
import requests
ip = requests.get('http://ipinfo.io/json').json()['ip']

Or you can use this javascript
$(function () {
$("#projectKey").change(function () {
alert($('#projectKey option:selected').text());
});
});
Working example
import android.content.Context;
import android.graphics.Canvas;
import android.util.AttributeSet;
import android.view.MotionEvent;
public class VerticalSeekBar extends SeekBar {
public VerticalSeekBar(Context context) {
super(context);
}
public VerticalSeekBar(Context context, AttributeSet attrs, int defStyle) {
super(context, attrs, defStyle);
}
public VerticalSeekBar(Context context, AttributeSet attrs) {
super(context, attrs);
}
protected void onSizeChanged(int w, int h, int oldw, int oldh) {
super.onSizeChanged(h, w, oldh, oldw);
}
@Override
public synchronized void setProgress(int progress) // it is necessary for calling setProgress on click of a button
{
super.setProgress(progress);
onSizeChanged(getWidth(), getHeight(), 0, 0);
}
@Override
protected synchronized void onMeasure(int widthMeasureSpec, int heightMeasureSpec) {
super.onMeasure(heightMeasureSpec, widthMeasureSpec);
setMeasuredDimension(getMeasuredHeight(), getMeasuredWidth());
}
protected void onDraw(Canvas c) {
c.rotate(-90);
c.translate(-getHeight(), 0);
super.onDraw(c);
}
@Override
public boolean onTouchEvent(MotionEvent event) {
if (!isEnabled()) {
return false;
}
switch (event.getAction()) {
case MotionEvent.ACTION_DOWN:
case MotionEvent.ACTION_MOVE:
case MotionEvent.ACTION_UP:
setProgress(getMax() - (int) (getMax() * event.getY() / getHeight()));
onSizeChanged(getWidth(), getHeight(), 0, 0);
break;
case MotionEvent.ACTION_CANCEL:
break;
}
return true;
}
}
There, paste the code and save it. Now use it in your XML layout:
<android.widget.VerticalSeekBar
android:id="@+id/seekBar1"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="200dp"
/>
Make sure to create a package android.widget
and create VerticalSeekBar.java
under this package
If double quotes do not solve the issue then try e.g.
dir /X ~1 c:\
to get a list of alternative file or directory names. Example output:
11/09/2014 12:54 AM 8,065 DEFAUL~1.XML Default Desktop Policy.xml
06/12/2014 03:49 PM <DIR> PROGRA~1 Program Files
10/12/2014 12:46 AM <DIR> PROGRA~2 Program Files (x86)
Now use the short 8 character file or folder name in the 5th column, e.g. PROGRA~1 or DEFAUL~1.XML, in your commands. For instance:
set JAVA_HOME=c:\PROGRA~1\Java\jdk1.6.0_45
If anyone need sort according to key best is to use below
usort($array, build_sorter('order'));
function build_sorter($key) {
return function ($a, $b) use ($key) {
return strnatcmp($a[$key], $b[$key]);
};
}
This XPath is specific to the code snippet you've provided. To select <child>
with id as #grand
you can write //child[@id='#grand']
.
To get age //child[@id='#grand']/@age
Hope this helps
As your query string is a literal, and assuming your dates are properly stored as DATE
you should use date literals:
SELECT * FROM OrderArchive
WHERE OrderDate <= DATE '2015-12-31'
If you want to use TO_DATE
(because, for example, your query value is not a literal), I suggest you to explicitly set the NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE parameter as you are using US abbreviated month names. That way, it won't break on some localized Oracle Installation:
SELECT * FROM OrderArchive
WHERE OrderDate <= to_date('31 Dec 2014', 'DD MON YYYY',
'NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = American');
Javascript in a browser only really has a couple of effective scopes: function scope and global scope.
If a variable isn't in function scope, it's in global scope. And global variables are generally bad, so this is a construct to keep a library's variables to itself.
You may have several JDKs installed in your PC. Some older JDK installers also copy some java files such as java.exe
, javaw.exe
into C:\Windows\System32
folder.
I had a similar issue, and searched the internet for a solution and none of the suggestions didn’t open by double clicking the .jar
file.
In my case the reason is I have multiple JDK & JRE versions installed on my computer. Since I am a software developer working with several different versions for different clients I need to use multiple JDKs in my PC (Windows 10 Pro). So I do not want to change the system variables (i.e. JAVA_HOME
, JRE_HOME
or PATH
), instead I use command prompt to run java in user process whenever I wanted to use a different version.
When installing JDK it registers the .jar
file association with latest version we installed in the PC. If you right click on the .jar icon and select properties, it will show that file opens with “Java(TM) Platform SE Binary”. If we look at the registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\jarfile\shell\open\command
, it will point to latest JDK version.
It is not a good idea (sometimes annoying) to change the registry key every time I want to run an app build from a different version.
So in my situation it is impossible to just double click the .jar
file to execute it. But instead I found a work around solution myself.
Scenario:
Multiple JDKs (1.7, 1.8, 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, and 12.0)are installed in the PC, so the latest installed was 12.0.
Problem
Want to double click an executable .jar
developed using JDK 1.8 and didn’t work
This is my work around solution:
Create a shortcut for the .jar
file that you want to open.
Right click the shortcut icon and select properties -> Shortcut tab
Change the text in the target (for example "D:\Dev\JavaApp1.8.jar"
)
To
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0\bin\javaw.exe
" -jar
"D:\Dev\JavaApp1.8.jar
"
Then click ok Double click the shortcut.
It should now open the app.
i have used this, this library is very useful
from pyjavaproperties import Properties
p = Properties()
p.load(open('test.properties'))
p.list()
print(p)
print(p.items())
print(p['name3'])
p['name3'] = 'changed = value'
This is the simplest way for an amateur like me who is studying C++ on their own:
First Unzip the boost library to any directory of your choice. I recommend c:\directory
.
c:\boost_1_57_0
.Then go over to the link library were you experienced your problems.
c:\boost_1_57_0
.booststrap.bat
(don't bother to type on the command window just wait and don't close the window that is the place I had my problem that took me two weeks to solve. After a while the booststrap
will run and produce the same file, but now with two different names: b2
, and bjam
.b2
and wait it to run.bjam
and wait it to run. Then a folder will be produce called stage
.c:\boost_1_57_0\stage\lib
.And you are good to go!

Run
npm i @types/jquery
npm install -D @types/bootstrap
in the project to add the jquery types in your Angular Project. After that include
import * as $ from "jquery";
import * as bootstrap from "bootstrap";
in your app.module.ts
Add
<script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
in your index.html just before the body closing tag.
And if you are running Angular 2-7 include "jquery" in the types field of tsconfig.app.json file.
This will remove all error of 'modal' and '$' in your Angular project.
You must have seen some application that run from the commandline and let you to pass them arguments. If you write one such app in C#, the array args
serves as the collection of the said arguments.
This how you process them:
static void Main(string[] args) {
foreach (string arg in args) {
//Do something with each argument
}
}
You can add a watchpoint for each variable you're interested in.
A watchpoint is a special breakpoint that stops the execution of an application whenever the value of a given expression changes, without specifying where it might occur. Unlike breakpoints (which are line-specific), watchpoints are associated with files. They take effect whenever a specified condition is true, regardless of when or where it occurred. You can set a watchpoint on a global variable by highlighting the variable in the editor, or by selecting it in the Outline view.
If you have this problem in Windows 10, and you know you have premisions on folder (You could write before but it just started to print exception PermissionError recently).. You will need to install Windows updates... I hope someone will help this info.
Depends on your specific situation, but if the iframe can be deployed after the rest of the page's loading, you can simply use a query string, a la:
<iframe src="some_page.html?somedata=5&more=bacon"></iframe>
And then somewhere in some_page.html:
<script>
var params = location.href.split('?')[1].split('&');
data = {};
for (x in params)
{
data[params[x].split('=')[0]] = params[x].split('=')[1];
}
</script>
Where is your problem??
For the stored procedure, just create:
CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.ReadEmployees @EmpID INT
AS
SELECT * -- I would *strongly* recommend specifying the columns EXPLICITLY
FROM dbo.Emp
WHERE ID = @EmpID
That's all there is.
From your ASP.NET application, just create a SqlConnection
and a SqlCommand
(don't forget to set the CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure
)
DataTable tblEmployees = new DataTable();
using(SqlConnection _con = new SqlConnection("your-connection-string-here"))
using(SqlCommand _cmd = new SqlCommand("ReadEmployees", _con))
{
_cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
_cmd.Parameters.Add(new SqlParameter("@EmpID", SqlDbType.Int));
_cmd.Parameters["@EmpID"].Value = 42;
SqlDataAdapter _dap = new SqlDataAdapter(_cmd);
_dap.Fill(tblEmployees);
}
YourGridView.DataSource = tblEmployees;
YourGridView.DataBind();
and then fill e.g. a DataTable
with that data and bind it to e.g. a GridView.
One more thing to try!
When I copied all of my files, opened the project, and renamed it, everything changed to my new project name except for the test target! I got a linker error that said I was missing a file called "myOldProjectname.app". Here's what fixed it:
Click on your project settings and select your test target
Click on build settings and search for "test host"
Check those 2 file paths. Chances are that those 2 paths are still pointing at your old project name.
Hope that helps!
Using Encoding.Unicode won't accurately decode an ANSI file in the same way that a JPEG decoder won't understand a GIF file.
I'm surprised that Encoding.Default
didn't work for the ANSI file if it really was ANSI - if you ever find out exactly which code page Notepad was using, you could use Encoding.GetEncoding(int)
.
In general, where possible I'd recommend using UTF-8.
If you want something more efficient in runtime condition, you can have a map that contains every possible choice of the enum by their value. But it'll be juste slower at initialisation of the JVM.
import java.util.HashMap;
import java.util.Map;
/**
* Example of enum with a getter that need a value in parameter, and that return the Choice/Instance
* of the enum which has the same value.
* The value of each choice can be random.
*/
public enum MyEnum {
/** a random choice */
Choice1(4),
/** a nother one */
Choice2(2),
/** another one again */
Choice3(9);
/** a map that contains every choices of the enum ordered by their value. */
private static final Map<Integer, MyEnum> MY_MAP = new HashMap<Integer, MyEnum>();
static {
// populating the map
for (MyEnum myEnum : values()) {
MY_MAP.put(myEnum.getValue(), myEnum);
}
}
/** the value of the choice */
private int value;
/**
* constructor
* @param value the value
*/
private MyEnum(int value) {
this.value = value;
}
/**

from pyspark.sql.functions import col
df.select(col("column_name")).collect()
here collect is functions which in turn convert it to list. Be ware of using the list on the huge data set. It will decrease performance. It is good to check the data.
The simplest way to do this is:
console.warn("Text to print on console");
Try:
gradle assemble
To list all available tasks for your project, try:
gradle tasks
UPDATE:
This may not seem the most correct answer at first, but read carefully gradle tasks
output or docs.
Build tasks
-----------
assemble - Assembles the outputs of this project.
build - Assembles and tests this project.
You can use the invert (~) operator (which acts like a not for boolean data):
new_df = df[~df["col"].str.contains(word)]
, where new_df
is the copy returned by RHS.
contains also accepts a regular expression...
If the above throws a ValueError, the reason is likely because you have mixed datatypes, so use na=False
:
new_df = df[~df["col"].str.contains(word, na=False)]
Or,
new_df = df[df["col"].str.contains(word) == False]
I am using IIS and mysql (directly downloaded, without wamp or xampp) My php was installed in c:\php I was getting the error of "call to undefined function mysql_connect()" For me the change of extension_dir worked. This is what I did. In the php.ini, Originally, I had this line
; On windows: extension_dir = "ext"
I changed it to:
; On windows: extension_dir = "C:\php\ext"
And it worked. Of course, I did the other things also like uncommenting the dll extensions etc, as explained in others remarks.
If you want to follow all the "best practices," there's a few things I'd recommend, some of which are touched on in other answers and comments to this question.
First, while it doesn't have too much of an affect on the specific question you asked, you did mention efficiency, and the best way to handle shared data in your application is to factor it out into a service.
I would personally recommend embracing AngularJS's promise system, which will make your asynchronous services more composable compared to raw callbacks. Luckily, Angular's $http
service already uses them under the hood. Here's a service that will return a promise that resolves to the data from the JSON file; calling the service more than once will not cause a second HTTP request.
app.factory('locations', function($http) {
var promise = null;
return function() {
if (promise) {
// If we've already asked for this data once,
// return the promise that already exists.
return promise;
} else {
promise = $http.get('locations/locations.json');
return promise;
}
};
});
As far as getting the data into your directive, it's important to remember that directives are designed to abstract generic DOM manipulation; you should not inject them with application-specific services. In this case, it would be tempting to simply inject the locations
service into the directive, but this couples the directive to that service.
A brief aside on code modularity: a directive’s functions should almost never be responsible for getting or formatting their own data. There’s nothing to stop you from using the $http service from within a directive, but this is almost always the wrong thing to do. Writing a controller to use $http is the right way to do it. A directive already touches a DOM element, which is a very complex object and is difficult to stub out for testing. Adding network I/O to the mix makes your code that much more difficult to understand and that much more difficult to test. In addition, network I/O locks in the way that your directive will get its data – maybe in some other place you’ll want to have this directive receive data from a socket or take in preloaded data. Your directive should either take data in as an attribute through scope.$eval and/or have a controller to handle acquiring and storing the data.
In this specific case, you should place the appropriate data on your controller's scope and share it with the directive via an attribute.
app.controller('SomeController', function($scope, locations) {
locations().success(function(data) {
$scope.locations = data;
});
});
<ul class="list">
<li ng-repeat="location in locations">
<a href="#">{{location.id}}. {{location.name}}</a>
</li>
</ul>
<map locations='locations'></map>
app.directive('map', function() {
return {
restrict: 'E',
replace: true,
template: '<div></div>',
scope: {
// creates a scope variable in your directive
// called `locations` bound to whatever was passed
// in via the `locations` attribute in the DOM
locations: '=locations'
},
link: function(scope, element, attrs) {
scope.$watch('locations', function(locations) {
angular.forEach(locations, function(location, key) {
// do something
});
});
}
};
});
In this way, the map
directive can be used with any set of location data--the directive is not hard-coded to use a specific set of data, and simply linking the directive by including it in the DOM will not fire off random HTTP requests.
I experienced the same issue, and found out that the applicationdeployed was of .NET version 3.5, but the Application pool was using .NET 2.0. That caused the problem you described above. Hope it helps someone.

Great explanation here:
https://www.cuelogic.com/blog/using-framelayout-for-designing-xml-layouts-in-android
LinearLayout arranges elements side by side either horizontally or vertically.
RelativeLayout helps you arrange your UI elements based on specific rules. You can specify rules like: align this to parent’s left edge, place this to the left/right of this elements etc.
AbsoluteLayout is for absolute positioning i.e. you can specify exact co-ordinates where the view should go.
FrameLayout allows placements of views along Z-axis. That means that you can stack your view elements one above the other.
The TrimEnd method takes an input character array and not a string. The code below from Dot Net Perls, shows a more efficient example of how to perform the same functionality as TrimEnd.
static string TrimTrailingChars(string value)
{
int removeLength = 0;
for (int i = value.Length - 1; i >= 0; i--)
{
char let = value[i];
if (let == '?' || let == '!' || let == '.')
{
removeLength++;
}
else
{
break;
}
}
if (removeLength > 0)
{
return value.Substring(0, value.Length - removeLength);
}
return value;
}
No it doesn't need to be constant, the reason why his code above is wrong is because he needs to include a variable name before the declaration.
int row = 8;
int col= 8;
int x[row][col];
In Xcode that will compile and run without any issues, in M$ C++ compiler in .NET it won't compile, it will complain that you cannot use a non const literal to initialize array, the size needs to be known at compile time
I dont think you want to use the c# code you have there. They provide System.Text.Encoding.ASCII(also UTF-*)
string str = "some text;
byte[] bytes = System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes(str);
your problems stem from ignoring the encoding in c# not your c++ code
That is, you are referencing an image, but instead of providing an external url, the png image data is in the url itself, embedded in the style sheet. data:image/png;base64 tells the browser that the data is inline, is a png image and is in this case base64 encoded. The encoding is needed because png images can contain bytes that are invalid inside a HTML document (or within the HTTP protocol even).
If you aren't going to be handling the exception go with TryParse. TryParse is faster because it doesn't have to deal with the whole exception stack trace.
Why would you think setting a single element would clear the entire array? In C, especially, little ever happens without the programmer explicitly programming it. If you set the first element to zero (or any value), then you have done exactly that, and nothing more.
When initializing you can set an array to zero:
char mcd[40] = {0}; /* sets the whole array */
Otherwise, I don't know any technique other than memset, or something similar.
I suggest this discriminative question:

Basically: assign a keyup
handler to the <textarea>
element, in it count the length of the <textarea>
and write the count to a separate <div>
if its length is shorter than a minimum value.
Here's is an example-
var min = 15;_x000D_
document.querySelector('#tst').onkeyup = function(e){_x000D_
document.querySelector('#counter').innerHTML = _x000D_
this.value.length < min _x000D_
? (min - this.value.length)+' to go...'_x000D_
: '';_x000D_
}_x000D_
_x000D_
body {font: normal 0.8em verdana, arial;}_x000D_
#counter {color: grey}
_x000D_
<textarea id="tst" cols="60" rows="10"></textarea>_x000D_
<div id="counter"></div>

Thank You
I'd go with COUNT(1)
. It is faster than COUNT(*)
because COUNT(*)
tests to see if at least one column in that row is != NULL. You don't need that, especially because you already have a condition in place (the WHERE
clause). COUNT(1)
instead tests the validity of 1
, which is always valid and takes a lot less time to test.
It's a bit late but I just had the same problem and finally solved it with the help of another stackoverflow post (https://stackoverflow.com/a/29103071).
img {
object-fit: cover;
width: 50px;
height: 100px;
}
Hope this still helps somebody.
Ps: Also works together with max-height, max-width, min-width and min-height css properties. It's espacially handy with using lenght units like 100% or 100vh/100vw to fill the container or the whole browser window.
It's a ProgressDialog, with setIndeterminate(true).
From http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/dialogs.html#ProgressDialog
ProgressDialog dialog = ProgressDialog.show(MyActivity.this, "",
"Loading. Please wait...", true);
An indeterminate progress bar doesn't actually show a bar, it shows a spinning activity circle thing. I'm sure you know what I mean :)

Have you add a default route to this class?
public class RouteConfig {
public static void RegisterRoutes (RouteCollection routes) {`
//"HomePage" is the root view of your app
routes.MapRoute (
name: "Default",
url: "{controller}/{action}/{id}",
defaults: new {
controller = "Home", action = "HomePage", id = UrlParameter.Optional
}
);
}
}
` After that in Global.asax.cs add this line to Application_Start() method:
RouteConfig.RegisterRoutes (RouteTable.Routes);
I had this problem after I made an upgrade from MVC4 to MVC5 following this post and I had that line commented for a reason that I've forgot.
Hope this helps!
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#connectBtn').click(function(e){
e.preventDefault();
})
});
</script>
This will prevent the default action.

For some reason I could not get this to work with the proposed answers, but I found another variation, using select, that worked for me:
models.Post.find().sort('-date').limit(10).select('published').exec(function(e, data){
...
});
Has the api perhaps changed? I am using version 3.8.19
The error means that you have data in other tables that references the data you are trying to delete.
You would need to either drop and recreate the constraints or delete the data that the Foreign Key references.
Suppose you have the following tables
dbo.Students
(
StudentId
StudentName
StudentTypeId
)
dbo.StudentTypes
(
StudentTypeId
StudentType
)
Suppose a Foreign Key constraint exists between the StudentTypeId
column in StudentTypes
and the StudentTypeId
column in Students
If you try to delete all the data in StudentTypes
an error will occur as the StudentTypeId
column in Students
reference the data in the StudentTypes
table.
EDIT:
DELETE
and TRUNCATE
essentially do the same thing. The only difference is that TRUNCATE
does not save the changes in to the Log file. Also you can't use a WHERE
clause with TRUNCATE
AS to why you can run this in SSMS but not via your Application. I really can't see this happening. The FK constraint would still throw an error regardless of where the transaction originated from.
If you're using php 7.3 for laravel 5.7. this work for me
sudo apt-get install php-gd php-xml php7.3-mbstring
Create a .htaccess file in directory and add this code to .htaccess file
AddHandler x-httpd-php .html .htm
or
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
It will force Apache server to parse HTML or HTM files as PHP Script
I had the same issue when I started using Puma in heroku as per their guide page, this issue was solved when I commented the port line shown below

So, disabling the above line in the puma.rb in the config directory solved the issue

In addition to tcash21's numeric indexing if OP may have been looking for negative indexing by name. Here's a few ways I know, some are risky than others to use:
mtcars[, -which(names(mtcars) == "carb")] #only works on a single column
mtcars[, names(mtcars) != "carb"] #only works on a single column
mtcars[, !names(mtcars) %in% c("carb", "mpg")]
mtcars[, -match(c("carb", "mpg"), names(mtcars))]
mtcars2 <- mtcars; mtcars2$hp <- NULL #lost column (risky)
library(gdata)
remove.vars(mtcars2, names=c("mpg", "carb"), info=TRUE)
Generally I use:
mtcars[, !names(mtcars) %in% c("carb", "mpg")]
because I feel it's safe and efficient.
EX:
<input type="textbox" ondrop="return false;" onpaste="return false;">
Use these attributes in the required textbox in HTML. Now the drag-and-drop and the paste functionality are disabled.
The middle one writes to the pipeline. Write-Host
and Out-Host
writes to the console. 'echo' is an alias for Write-Output
which writes to the pipeline as well. The best way to write to the console would be using the Write-Host
cmdlet.
When an object is written to the pipeline it can be consumed by other commands in the chain. For example:
"hello world" | Do-Something
but this won't work since Write-Host
writes to the console, not to the pipeline (Do-Something will not get the string):
Write-Host "hello world" | Do-Something
When you typed in sudo sendmailconfig
, you should have been prompted to configure sendmail.
For reference, the files that are updated during configuration are located at the following (in case you want to update them manually):
/etc/mail/sendmail.conf
/etc/cron.d/sendmail
/etc/mail/sendmail.mc
You can test sendmail to see if it is properly configured and setup by typing the following into the command line:
$ echo "My test email being sent from sendmail" | /usr/sbin/sendmail [email protected]
The following will allow you to add smtp relay to sendmail:
#Change to your mail config directory:
cd /etc/mail
#Make a auth subdirectory
mkdir auth
chmod 700 auth
#Create a file with your auth information to the smtp server
cd auth
touch client-info
#In the file, put the following, matching up to your smtp server:
AuthInfo:your.isp.net "U:root" "I:user" "P:password"
#Generate the Authentication database, make both files readable only by root
makemap hash client-info < client-info
chmod 600 client-info
cd ..
Add the following lines to sendmail.mc, but before the MAILERDEFINITIONS
. Make sure you update your smtp server.
define(`SMART_HOST',`your.isp.net')dnl
define(`confAUTH_MECHANISMS', `EXTERNAL GSSAPI DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN')dnl
FEATURE(`authinfo',`hash -o /etc/mail/auth/client-info.db')dnl
Invoke creation sendmail.cf (alternatively run make -C /etc/mail
):
m4 sendmail.mc > sendmail.cf
Restart the sendmail daemon:
service sendmail restart
In Oracle PL/SQL, if you are running a query that may return multiple rows, you need a cursor to iterate over the results. The simplest way is with a for loop, e.g.:
declare
myname varchar2(20) := 'tom';
begin
for result_cursor in (select * from mytable where first_name = myname) loop
dbms_output.put_line(result_cursor.first_name);
dbms_output.put_line(result_cursor.other_field);
end loop;
end;
If you have a query that returns exactly one row, then you can use the select...into...
syntax, e.g.:
declare
myname varchar2(20);
begin
select first_name into myname
from mytable
where person_id = 123;
end;
Try the cex
argument:
?par
cex
Try this:
void drawInitialNim(int num1, int num2, int num3){
int board[3][50] = {0}; // This is a local variable. It is not possible to use it after returning from this function.
int i, j, k;
for(i=0; i<num1; i++)
board[0][i] = 'O';
for(i=0; i<num2; i++)
board[1][i] = 'O';
for(i=0; i<num3; i++)
board[2][i] = 'O';
for (j=0; j<3;j++) {
for (k=0; k<50; k++) {
if(board[j][k] != 0)
printf("%c", board[j][k]);
}
printf("\n");
}
}
+=
is just a shortcut for writing
number = 4
number = number + 1
So instead you would write
numbers = 4
numbers += 1
Both ways are correct but example two helps you write a little less code
For me setting alignItems
to a parent did the trick, like:
var styles = StyleSheet.create({
container: {
alignItems: 'flex-end'
}
});
Using simple html,
<div>
<object type="text/html" data="http://validator.w3.org/" width="800px" height="600px" style="overflow:auto;border:5px ridge blue">
</object>
</div>
Or jquery,
<script>
$("#mydiv")
.html('<object data="http://your-website-domain"/>');
</script>
Following on from Tuong Lu Kim's answer:
Assuming:
ga('create', 'UA-XXXXX-Y', 'auto');
...if analytics.js detects that you're running a server locally (e.g. localhost) it automatically sets the cookieDomain to 'none'....
Excerpt from:
Automatic cookie domain configuration sets the _ga cookie on the highest level domain it can. For example, if your website address is blog.example.co.uk, analytics.js will set the cookie domain to .example.co.uk. In addition, if analytics.js detects that you're running a server locally (e.g. localhost) it automatically sets the cookieDomain to 'none'.
The recommended JavaScript tracking snippet sets the string 'auto' for the cookieDomain field:
UIWindow *keyWindow = [[UIApplication sharedApplication] keyWindow];
if (![NSStringFromClass([keyWindow class]) isEqualToString:@"UIWindow"]) {
NSArray *windows = [UIApplication sharedApplication].windows;
for (UIWindow *window in windows) {
if ([NSStringFromClass([window class]) isEqualToString:@"UIWindow"]) {
keyWindow = window;
break;
}
}
}

Take a look at the Python tutorial section 4.7.3 and 4.7.4. It talks about passing tuples as arguments.
I would also consider using named parameters (and passing a dictionary) instead of using a tuple and passing a sequence. I find the use of positional arguments to be a bad practice when the positions are not intuitive or there are multiple parameters.
function uploadFile() {
var fileElement = document.getElementById("fileToUpload");
var fileExtension = "";
if (fileElement.value.lastIndexOf(".") > 0) {
fileExtension = fileElement.value.substring(fileElement.value.lastIndexOf(".") + 1, fileElement.value.length);
}
if (fileExtension == "odx-d"||fileExtension == "odx"||fileExtension == "pdx"||fileExtension == "cmo"||fileExtension == "xml") {
var fd = new FormData();
fd.append("fileToUpload", document.getElementById('fileToUpload').files[0]);
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.upload.addEventListener("progress", uploadProgress, false);
xhr.addEventListener("load", uploadComplete, false);
xhr.addEventListener("error", uploadFailed, false);
xhr.addEventListener("abort", uploadCanceled, false);
xhr.open("POST", "/post_uploadReq");
xhr.send(fd);
}
else {
alert("You must select a valid odx,pdx,xml or cmo file for upload");
return false;
}
}
tried this , works very well
Addionally to @Bothwells answer (which I prefer) for single values, in order to null-checking assingment of function return values, you can use new walrus-operator (since python3.8):
def test():
return
a = 2 if (x:= test()) is None else x
Thus, test
function does not need to be evaluated two times (as in a = 2 if test() is None else test()
)
I believe it means 'anything but a whitespace character'.
I have Spring 4.2 in my project and many SockJS Stomp implementations usually work well with Spring Boot implementations. This implementation from Baeldung worked(for me without changing from Spring 4.2 to 5). After Using the dependencies mentioned in his blog, it still gave me ClassNotFoundError. I added the below dependency to fix it.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-core</artifactId>
<version>4.2.3.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
I found a way to make a textarea with all this working at the same time:
It works well on:
Let me explain how i get to that: I was using Chrome inspector integrated tool and I saw values on CSS styles, so I try these values, instead of normal ones... trial & errors till I got it reduced to minimum and here it is for anyone that wants it.
In the CSS section I used just this for Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari:
textarea {
white-space:nowrap;
overflow:scroll;
}
In the CSS section I used just this for IE:
textarea {
overflow:scroll;
}
It was a bit tricky, but there is the CSS.
An (x)HTML tag like this:
<textarea id="myTextarea" rows="10" cols="15"></textarea>
And at the end of the <head>
section a JavaScript like this:
window.onload=function(){
document.getElementById("myTextarea").wrap='off';
}
The JavaScript is for making the W3C validator passing XHTML 1.1 Strict, since the wrap attribute is not official and thus cannot be an (x)HTML tag directly, but most browsers handle it, so after loading the page it sets that attribute.
Hope this can be tested on more browsers and versions and help someone to improve it and makes it fully cross-browser for all versions.
You should use static String.Compare
function like following
x => String.Compare (x.Username, (string)drUser["Username"],
StringComparison.OrdinalIgnoreCase) == 0
This question has been answered but I feel I should also mention another potential cause. This is a direct result of coming across the same error message but for different reasons. If your list/s are empty the operation will not be performed. check your code for indents and typos
In one of the comments, you say:
Somehow I got an Nonetype value, it supposed to be an int, but it's now a Nonetype object
If it's your code, figure out how you're getting None
when you expect a number and stop that from happening.
If it's someone else's code, find out the conditions under which it gives None
and determine a sensible value to use for that, with the usual conditional code:
result = could_return_none(x)
if result is None:
result = DEFAULT_VALUE
...or even...
if x == THING_THAT_RESULTS_IN_NONE:
result = DEFAULT_VALUE
else:
result = could_return_none(x) # But it won't return None, because we've restricted the domain.
There's no reason to automatically use 0
here — solutions that depend on the "false"-ness of None
assume you will want this. The DEFAULT_VALUE
(if it even exists) completely depends on your code's purpose.
Microsoft Core Library, ie they are at the heart of everything.
There is a more "massaged" explanation you may prefer:
"When Microsoft first started working on the .NET Framework, MSCorLib.dll was an acronym for Microsoft Common Object Runtime Library. Once ECMA started to standardize the CLR and parts of the FCL, MSCorLib.dll officially became the acronym for Multilanguage Standard Common Object Runtime Library."
From http://weblogs.asp.net/mreynolds/archive/2004/01/31/65551.aspx
Around 1999, to my personal memory, .Net was known as "COOL", so I am a little suspicious of this derivation. I never heard it called "COR", which is a silly-sounding name to a native English speaker.

This will kill the your process service. In my case it is
pgrep -f python | xargs kill -9
I created a github project Json2Java that does this. https://github.com/inder123/json2java
Json2Java provides customizations such as renaming fields, and creating inheritance hierarchies.
I have used the tool to create some relatively complex APIs:
Gracenote's TMS API: https://github.com/inder123/gracenote-java-api
Google Maps Geocoding API: https://github.com/inder123/geocoding
if you are using windows os and believe that skype is not the suspect, then you might want to check the task manager and check the "Show processes from all users" and make sure that there is NO entry for httpd.exe. Otherwise, end its process. That solves my problem.
