Interestingly putting <httpCookies httpOnlyCookies="false"/> doesn't seem to disable httpOnlyCookies in ASP.NET 2.0. Check this article about SessionID and Login Problems With ASP .NET 2.0.

Looks like Microsoft took the decision to not allow you to disable it from the web.config. Check this post on forums.asp.net

httpOnly is supported as of Tomcat 6.0.19 and Tomcat 5.5.28.

See the changelog entry for bug 44382.

The last comment for bug 44382 states, "this has been applied to 5.5.x and will be included in 5.5.28 onwards." However, it does not appear that 5.5.28 has been released.

The httpOnly functionality can be enabled for all webapps in conf/context.xml:

My interpretation is that it also works for an individual context by setting it on the desired Context entry in conf/server.xml (in the same manner as above).

Short answer: You should to use "weak references" between collections, using ObjectId properties:

A better answer is that ++i will sometimes be faster but never slower.

Everyone seems to be assuming that i is a regular built-in type such as int. In this case there will be no measurable difference.

However if i is complex type then you may well find a measurable difference. For i++ you must make a copy of your class before incrementing it. Depending on what's involved in a copy it could indeed be slower since with ++it you can just return the final value.

Foo Foo::operator++()

Another difference is that with ++i you have the option of returning a reference instead of a value. Again, depending on what's involved in making a copy of your object this could be slower.

A real-world example of where this can occur would be the use of iterators. Copying an iterator is unlikely to be a bottle-neck in your application, but it's still good practice to get into the habit of using ++i instead of i++ where the outcome is not affected.

std::vector always makes a copy of whatever is being stored in the vector.

If you are keeping a vector of pointers, then it will make a copy of the pointer, but not the instance being to which the pointer is pointing. If you are dealing with large objects, you can (and probably should) always use a vector of pointers. Often, using a vector of smart pointers of an appropriate type is good for safety purposes, since handling object lifetime and memory management can be tricky otherwise.

In case if you are under proxy environment and internet is not running in your emulator, then please don't change any setting in emulator. Go to your eclipse project, right click , click on "Run as" then click on "Run Configuration". You've got basically 2 options for "global" variables:

• use a $rootScope http://docs.angularjs.org/api/ng.$rootScope
• use a service http://docs.angularjs.org/guide/services

$rootScope is a parent of all scopes so values exposed there will be visible in all templates and controllers. Using the $rootScope is very easy as you can simply inject it into any controller and change values in this scope. It might be convenient but has all the problems of global variables.

Services are singletons that you can inject to any controller and expose their values in a controller's scope. Services, being singletons are still 'global' but you've got far better control over where those are used and exposed.

Using services is a bit more complex, but not that much, here is an example:

Another great implementation is jQuery History which will use the native onhashchange event if it is supported by the browser, if not it will use an iframe or interval appropriately for the browser to ensure all the expected functionality is successfully emulated. It also provides a nice interface to bind to certain states.

Another project worth noting as well is jQuery Ajaxy which is pretty much an extension for jQuery History to add ajax to the mix. As when you start using ajax with hashes it get's quite complicated!

The difference between absolute and relative imports come into play only when you import a module from a package and that module imports an other submodule from that package. See the difference:

Note that python2 pkg/main2.py has a different behaviour then launching python2 and then importing pkg.main2 (which is equivalent to using the -m switch).

If you ever want to run a submodule of a package always use the -m switch which prevents the interpreter for chaining the sys.path list and correctly handles the semantics of the submodule.

Also, I much prefer using explicit relative imports for package submodules since they provide more semantics and better error messages in case of failure.

I normally use the circular-json npm package to solve this.

In the History view, find the last good version of that file, right click and choose "Get Contents". This will replace your current version with that version's contents. Then you can commit the changes when you've fixed it all up.

Dates in the m/d/y or d-m-y formats are disambiguated by looking at the separator between the various components: if the separator is a slash (/), then the American m/d/y is assumed; whereas if the separator is a dash (-) or a dot (.), then the European d-m-y format is assumed.

In your date string, you have 12-16-2013. 16 isn't a valid month, and hence strtotime() returns false.

Since you can't use DateTime class, you could manually replace the - with / using str_replace() to convert the date string into a format that strtotime() understands:

$date = '2-16-2013';
echo date('Y-m-d', strtotime(str_replace('-','/', $date))); // => 2013-02-16

Set the content type with header('Content-type: application/json'); and then echo your data.

For example:

When you say pair[0], that gives you ("a", 1). The thing in parentheses is a tuple, which, like a list, is a type of collection. So you can access the first element of that thing by specifying [0] or [1] after its name. So all you have to do to get the first element of the first element of pair is say pair[0][0]. Or if you want the second element of the third element, it's pair[2][1].

If you revise your regular expression like this:

...then it will match all inputs that contain drupal-6.14/ followed by sites followed by anything other than /all or /default. For example:

drupal-6.14/sites/foo
drupal-6.14/sites/bar

Changing ?= to ?! to match your original regex simply negates those matches:

drupal-6.14/(?!sites(?!/all|/default)).*
             ^^

So, this simply means that drupal-6.14/ now cannot be followed by sites followed by anything other than /all or /default. So now, these inputs will satisfy the regex:

drupal-6.14/sites/all
drupal-6.14/sites/default
drupal-6.14/sites/all42

But, what may not be obvious from some of the other answers (and possibly your question) is that your regex will also permit other inputs where drupal-6.14/ is followed by anything other than sites as well. For example:

drupal-6.14/foo
drupal-6.14/xsites

Conclusion: So, your regex basically says to include all subdirectories of drupal-6.14 except those subdirectories of sites whose name begins with anything other than all or default.

If you are using an array (and purely an array), the lookup of "contains" is O(N), because worst case, you must iterate the entire array. Now if the array is sorted you can use a binary search, which reduces the search time to log(N) with the overhead of the sort.

If this is something that is invoked repeatedly, place it in a function:

Otherwise, it seems like you are stuck with using a table.

I think the easiest is to simply open the file in write mode and then close it. For example, if your file myfile.dat contains:

"This is the original content"

Then you can simply write:

f = open('myfile.dat', 'w')
f.close()

This would erase all the content. Then you can write the new content to the file:

f = open('myfile.dat', 'w')
f.write('This is the new content!')
f.close()

Like in unittest, the only caveat is that the final mapping can be thought to be a diff, due to the trailing comma/bracket.

I have added slashes before inserting into database so on the time of fetching i removed slashes again stripslashes() and it works for me. I am sharing the code which works for me.

Imo, the best way to parse your JSON response with GSON would be creating classes that "match" your response and then use Gson.fromJson() method.
For example:

Another way, not yet mentioned here is the initialisation of parameters in infinite while-loops. Below is not the cleanest example, but it serves it's purpose.

Try something like this when you are applying focus that way if the element is hidden, it won't throw an error:

It may make more sense to make the element visible, though that will require code specific to your layout.

Set the z-index of the :before or :after pseudo element to -1 and give it a position that honors the z-index property (absolute, relative, or fixed). This works because the pseudo element's z-index is relative to its parent element, rather than <html>, which is the default for other elements. Which makes sense because they are child elements of <html>.

The problem I was having (that lead me to this question and the accepted answer above) was that I was trying to use a :after pseudo element to get fancy with a background to an element with z-index of 15, and even when set with a z-index of 14, it was still being rendered on top of its parent. This is because, in that stacking context, it's parent has a z-index of 0.

Hopefully that helps clarify a little what's going on.

I found the existing answers confusing, and took a long time to work out where the problem is. Here's a compilation of everything I found.

When I run my app, I get an error Failed to execute script foo (if foo.py is the main file). To troubleshoot this, don't run PyInstaller with --noconsole (or edit main.spec to change console=False => console=True). With this, run the executable from a command-line, and you'll see the failure.

The first thing to check is that it's packaging up your extra files correctly. You should add tuples like ('x', 'x') if you want the folder x to be included.

After it crashes, don't click OK. If you're on Windows, you can use Search Everything. Look for one of your files (eg. sword.png). You should find the temporary path where it unpacked the files (eg. C:\Users\ashes999\AppData\Local\Temp\_MEI157682\images\sword.png). You can browse this directory and make sure it included everything. If you can't find it this way, look for something like main.exe.manifest (Windows) or python35.dll (if you're using Python 3.5).

If the installer includes everything, the next likely problem is file I/O: your Python code is looking in the executable's directory, instead of the temp directory, for files.

To fix that, any of the answers on this question work. Personally, I found a mixture of them all to work: change directory conditionally first thing in your main entry-point file, and everything else works as-is:

Different web stacks do support different lengths of http-requests. I know from experience that the early stacks of Safari only supported 4000 characters and thus had difficulty handling ASP.net pages because of the USER-STATE. I agree with @kent that this is well suited for grep -o. If you need to extract a group within a pattern, you can do it with a 2nd grep.

To solve the OP problem without breaking the MVVM, I would use custom value converter and a wrapper for the value (the password) that has to be retrieved from the password box.

The "+1 month" issue with strtotime

As noted in several blogs, strtotime() solves the "+1 month" ("next month") issue on days that do not exist in the subsequent month differently than other implementations like for example MySQL.

The Observable Collection constructor will take an IList or an IEnumerable.

If you find that you are going to do this a lot you can make a simple extension method:

Not using media queries is nice because it allows scaling the font size gradually.

Using vw units will adjust the font size relative to the view port size.

Directly converting vw units to font size will make it difficult to hit to the sweet spot for both mobile resolutions and desktop.

.NET already supports basic Json serialization through the System.Runtime.Serialization.Json namespace and the DataContractJsonSerializer class since version 3.5. As the name implies, DataContractJsonSerializer takes into account any data annotations you add to your objects to create the final Json output.

That can be handy if you already have annotated data classes that you want to serialize Json to a stream, as described in How To: Serialize and Deserialize JSON Data. There are limitations but it's good enough and fast enough if you have basic needs and don't want to add Yet Another Library to your project.

The following code serializea a list to the console output stream. As you see it is a bit more verbose than Json.NET and not type-safe (ie no generics)

It's also worth mentioning that the subsetting factor doesn't have to be part of the data frame if it matches the data frame rows in length and order. In this case we made our data frame from this factor anyway. So,

You don't need to mess with class loaders. In fact it's a bad habit to get into because class loader resources are not java.io.File objects when they are in a jar archive.

Maven automatically sets the current working directory before running tests, so you can just use:

resourcesDirectory.getAbsolutePath() will return the correct value if that is what you really need.

I recommend creating a src/test/data directory if you want your tests to access data via the file system. This makes it clear what you're doing.

Got hit by the same issue while accessing SQLServer from IIS. Adding TrustServerCertificate=True didnot help.

Could see a comment in MS docs: Make sure the SQLServer service account has access to the TLS Certificate you are using. (NT Service\MSSQLSERVER)

Open personal store and right click on the certificate -> manage private keys -> Add the SQL service account and give full control.

Your method doesn't have any callbacks so there is no reason to use .CallBack(). You can simply return a Task with the desired values using .Returns() and Task.FromResult, e.g.:

Using the interactive shell (version 2.6.9), after creating variables a = 1 and b = 2, running dir() gives

['__builtins__', '__doc__', '__name__', '__package__', 'a', 'b']

running locals() gives

{'a': 1, 'b': 2, '__builtins__': <module '__builtin__' (built-in)>, '__package__': None, '__name__': '__main__', '__doc__': None}

Running globals() gives exactly the same answer as locals() in this case.

I haven't gotten into any modules, so all the variables are available as both local and global variables. locals() and globals() list the values of the variables as well as the names; dir() only lists the names.

If I import a module and run locals() or globals() inside the module, dir() still gives only a small number of variables; it adds __file__ to the variables listed above. locals() and globals() also list the same variables, but in the process of printing out the dictionary value for __builtin__, it lists a far larger number of variables: built-in functions, exceptions, and types such as "'type': <type 'type'>", rather than just the brief <module '__builtin__' (built-in)> as shown above.

[Comment: @Kurt: You gave a link to enumerate-or-list-all-variables-in-a-program-of-your-favorite-language-here but that answer has a mistake in it. The problem there is: type(name) in that example will always return <type 'str'>. You do get a list of the variables, which answers the question, but with incorrect types listed beside them. This was not obvious in your example because all the variables happened to be strings anyway; however, what it's returning is the type of the name of the variable instead of the type of the variable. To fix this: instead of print type(name) use print eval('type(' + name + ')'). I apologize for posting a comment in the answer section but I don't have comment posting privileges, and the other question is closed.]

In my opinion, the answer is "It depends on how much time you have". I try to achieve 100% but I don't make a fuss if I don't get it with the time I have.

When I write unit tests, I wear a different hat compared to the hat I wear when developing production code. I think about what the tested code claims to do and what are the situations that can possible break it.

I usually follow the following criteria or rules:

1. That the Unit Test should be a form of documentation on what's the expected behavior of my codes, ie. the expected output given a certain input and the exceptions it may throw that clients may want to catch (What the users of my code should know?)

2. That the Unit Test should help me discover the what if conditions that I may not yet have thought of. (How to make my code stable and robust?)

If these two rules doesn't produce 100% coverage then so be it. But once, I have the time, I analyze the uncovered blocks and lines and determine if there are still test cases without unit tests or if the code needs to be refactored to eliminate the unecessary codes.

Brian, This approach works great for non-Ajax requests, but as Lion_cl stated, if you have an error during an Ajax call, your Share/Error.aspx view (or your custom error page view) will be returned to the Ajax caller--the user will NOT be redirected to the error page.

Are you sure that floated block-level elements are the best solution to this problem?

Often with CSS difficulties in my experience it turns out that the reason I can't see a way of doing the thing I want is that I have got caught in a tunnel-vision with regard to my markup ( thinking "how can I make these elements do this?" ) rather than going back and looking at what exactly it is I need to achieve and maybe reworking my html slightly to facilitate that.

Though, it may be late, But I love the error page which displays all the routes. I usually try to go at /routes (or some bogus) path directly from the browser. Rails server automatically gives me a routing error page as well as all the routes and paths defined. That was very helpful :)

I edited /etc/selinux/config, set SELINUX=disabled, then reboot; then it worked. Alternately, you can run setenforce 0; you don't need reboot, but this is once used.

success has been the traditional name of the success callback in jQuery, defined as an option in the ajax call. However, since the implementation of $.Deferreds and more sophisticated callbacks, done is the preferred way to implement success callbacks, as it can be called on any deferred.

For example, success:

The nice thing about done is that the return value of $.ajax is now a deferred promise that can be bound to anywhere else in your application. So let's say you want to make this ajax call from a few different places. Rather than passing in your success function as an option to the function that makes this ajax call, you can just have the function return $.ajax itself and bind your callbacks with done, fail, then, or whatever. Note that always is a callback that will run whether the request succeeds or fails. done will only be triggered on success.

An important benefit of this in terms of maintainability is that you've wrapped your ajax mechanism in an application-specific function. If you decide you need your $.ajax call to operate differently in the future, or you use a different ajax method, or you move away from jQuery, you only have to change the xhr_get definition (being sure to return a promise or at least a done method, in the case of the example above). All the other references throughout the app can remain the same.

There are many more (much cooler) things you can do with $.Deferred, one of which is to use pipe to trigger a failure on an error reported by the server, even when the $.ajax request itself succeeds. For example:

In my case I was stupid enough to create the patch file incorrectly in the first place, actually diff-ing the wrong way. I ended up with the exact same error messages.

If you're on master and do git diff branch-name > branch-name.patch, this tries to remove all additions you want to happen and vice versa (which was impossible for git to accomplish since, obviously, never done additions cannot be removed).

Many of the answers here are useful, but I've found none of them to work on Android, in particular. I'm even a pretty hefty user of Reflect by joor, and neither it nor apache's FieldUtils - both mentioned here in some of the answers, do the trick.

Problem with Android

The fundamental reason why this is so is because on Android there's no modifiers field in the Field class, which renders any suggestion involving this code (as in the marked answer), useless:

The CASE is just a "switch" to return a value - not to execute a whole code block.

You need to change your code to something like this:

On my Linux system (Red Hat Enterprise 6.9), the split command does not have the command-line options for either -n or --additional-suffix.

Instead, I've used this:

split -d -l NUM_LINES really_big_file.txt split_files.txt.

where -d is to add a numeric suffix to the end of the split_files.txt. and -l specifies the number of lines per file.

If you want to get the value only if the key exists (and avoid an exception trying to get it if it doesn't), then you can use the get function from a dictionary, passing an optional default value as the second argument (if you don't pass it it returns None instead):

You can do it in one sql statement for existing customers, 3 statements for new ones. All you have to do is be an optimist and act as though the customer already exists:

null value in column "customer_id" violates not-null constraint

(providing you made customer_id non-nullable, which I'm sure you did). When that exception occurs, insert the customer into the customer table and redo the insert into the order table:

Simply casting the string as an int won't work reliably. You need to convert it to an int32. For this you can use the .NET convert class and its ToInt32 method. The method requires a string ($strNum) as the main input, and the base number (10) for the number system to convert to. This is because you can not only convert to the decimal system (the 10 base number), but also to, for example, the binary system (base 2).

Give this method a try:

• The reason for the different file extensions dates back to the early versions of Windows. The original file extension for the Joint Photographic Expert Group File Format was ‘.jpeg’; however in Windows all files required a three letter file extension. So, the file extension was shortened to ‘.jpg’. However, Macintosh was not limited to three letter file extensions, so Mac users used ‘.jpeg’. Eventually, with upgrades Windows also began to accept ‘.jpeg’. I meet the same problem, but I found it nothing to do with nginx. I am using nodejs as backend server, use nginx as a reverse proxy, 413 code is triggered by node server. node use koa parse the body. koa limit the urlencoded length.

formLimit: limit of the urlencoded body. If the body ends up being larger than this limit, a 413 error code is returned. Default is 56kb.

set formLimit to bigger can solve this problem.

Apply does the job well, but is quite slow. Using sapply and vapply could be useful. dplyr's rowwise could also be useful Let's see an example of how to do row wise product of any data frame.

three different approaches:

1. Classic client/server approach: don't put any database in the shops; simply have the applications access your server.
