Alternatively, if you want to simply set the number of ticks while allowing matplotlib to position them (currently only with MaxNLocator
), there is pyplot.locator_params
,
pyplot.locator_params(nbins=4)
You can specify specific axis in this method as mentioned below, default is both:
# To specify the number of ticks on both or any single axes
pyplot.locator_params(axis='y', nbins=6)
pyplot.locator_params(axis='x', nbins=10)
In Kotlin, you can do this.
val editText1 = findViewById(R.id.editText)
val intNum = editText1.text.toString().toInt()

My recomendation would be to shred the XML into relations and do searches and joins on the resulted relation, in a set oriented fashion, rather than the procedural fashion of searching specific nodes in the XML. Here is a simple XML query that shreds out the nodes and attributes of interest:
select x.value(N'../../../../@stepId', N'int') as StepID
, x.value(N'../../@id', N'int') as ComponentID
, x.value(N'@nom',N'nvarchar(100)') as Nom
, x.value(N'@valeur', N'nvarchar(100)') as Valeur
from @x.nodes(N'/xml/box/components/component/variables/variable') t(x)
However, if you must use an XPath that retrieves exactly the value of interest:
select x.value(N'@valeur', N'nvarchar(100)') as Valeur
from @x.nodes(N'/xml/box[@stepId=sql:variable("@stepID")]/
components/component[@id = sql:variable("@componentID")]/
variables/variable[@nom="Enabled"]') t(x)
If the stepID and component ID are columns, not variables, the you should use sql:column() instead of sql:variable in the XPath filters. See Binding Relational Data Inside XML Data.
And finaly if all you need is to check for existance you can use the exist() XML method:
select @x.exist(
N'/xml/box[@stepId=sql:variable("@stepID")]/
components/component[@id = sql:variable("@componentID")]/
variables/variable[@nom="Enabled" and @valeur="Yes"]')
The current spec of the CSS 3 Lists module does specify the ::marker
pseudo-element which would do exactly what you want; FF has been tested
to not support ::marker
and I doubt that either Safari or Opera has it.
IE, of course, does not support it.
So right now, the only way to do this is to use an image with list-style-image
.
I guess you could wrap the contents of an li
with a span
and then you could set the color of each, but that seems a little hackish to me.
Either bind the global Math object onto the scope (remember to use $window not window)
$scope.abs = $window.Math.abs;
Use the binding in your HTML:
<p>Distance from zero: {{abs(distance)}}</p>
Or create a filter for the specific Math function you're after:
module.filter('abs', ['$window', function($window) {
return function(n) {
return $window.Math.abs($window.parseInt(n));
};
});
Use the filter in your HTML:
<p>Distance from zero: {{distance | abs}}</p>
JRockit Mission Control is becoming Java Mission Control and will be dedicated exclusively to Hotspot. If you are an Oracle customer, you can download the 5.x versions of Java Mission Control from MOS (My Oracle Support). Java Mission Control will eventually be released together with the Oracle JDK. The reason it is not yet generally available is that there are some serious limitations, especially when using the Flight Recorder. However, if you are only interested in using the JMX console, you should be golden!
To break a loop, use break
instead of return
.
Or put the loop or control construct into a function, only functions can return values.

You also will have to catch or throw the IOException. See below. Not always the best way, but it will get you a result:
public class details {
public static void main( String[] args) throws IOException {
BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
System.out.println("What is your name?");
String name = in.readLine(); ;
System.out.println("Hello " + name);
}
}
If you have named a branch incorrectly AND pushed this to the remote repository follow these steps to rename that branch (based on this article):
Rename your local branch:
If you are on the branch you want to rename:
git branch -m new-name
If you are on a different branch:
git branch -m old-name new-name
Delete the old-name
remote branch and push the new-name
local branch:
git push origin :old-name new-name
Reset the upstream branch for the new-name local branch:
Switch to the branch and then:
git push origin -u new-name
Andrew Bullock solution works just fine, I just wanted to show you mine and add a warning.
//Works great
$('#<%= radBuffetCapacity.ClientID %> input').click(function (e) {
var val = $('#<%= radBuffetCapacity.ClientID %>').find('input:checked').val();
//Do whatever
});
//Warning - works in firefox but not IE8 .. used this for some time before a noticing that it didnt work in IE8... used to everything working in all browsers with jQuery when working in one.
$('#<%= radBuffetCapacity.ClientID %>').change(function (e) {
var val = $('#<%= radBuffetCapacity.ClientID %>').find('input:checked').val();

});
Using Chrome, searching for the images files in links (as proposed previously) didn't work as it is generating something like:

If you are using Eclipse then please note that while running on XDebug mode the magic constant __FILE__ will always be evaluated to:
xdebug://debug-eval
So the following check will return true if your session is under XDebug:
$is_xdebug = false !== strpos(__FILE__,'xdebug'); // true while on XDebug
/usr/bin/xcodebuild -version
will give you the xcode version, run it via Terminal command

It's not possible with CSS3. There is a proposed CSS4 selector, $
, to do just that, which could look like this (Selecting the li
element):
ul $li ul.sub { ... }
See the list of CSS4 Selectors here.
As an alternative, with jQuery, a one-liner you could make use of would be this:
$('ul li:has(ul.sub)').addClass('has_sub');
You could then go ahead and style the li.has_sub
in your CSS.
I sorted this problem as verifying the json from JSONLint.com and then, correcting it. And this is code for the same.
String jsonStr = "[{\r\n" + "\"name\":\"New York\",\r\n" + "\"number\": \"732921\",\r\n"+ "\"center\": {\r\n" + "\"latitude\": 38.895111,\r\n" + " \"longitude\": -77.036667\r\n" + "}\r\n" + "},\r\n" + " {\r\n"+ "\"name\": \"San Francisco\",\r\n" +\"number\":\"298732\",\r\n"+ "\"center\": {\r\n" + " \"latitude\": 37.783333,\r\n"+ "\"longitude\": -122.416667\r\n" + "}\r\n" + "}\r\n" + "]";
ObjectMapper mapper = new ObjectMapper();
MyPojo[] jsonObj = mapper.readValue(jsonStr, MyPojo[].class);
for (MyPojo itr : jsonObj) {
System.out.println("Val of name is: " + itr.getName());
System.out.println("Val of number is: " + itr.getNumber());
System.out.println("Val of latitude is: " +
itr.getCenter().getLatitude());
System.out.println("Val of longitude is: " +
itr.getCenter().getLongitude() + "\n");
}
Note: MyPojo[].class
is the class having getter and setter of json properties.
Result:
Val of name is: New York
Val of number is: 732921
Val of latitude is: 38.895111
Val of longitude is: -77.036667
Val of name is: San Francisco
Val of number is: 298732
Val of latitude is: 37.783333
Val of longitude is: -122.416667

Since functions in Javascript can be called with any number of arguments, and the document doesn't place any restriction on the onFulfilled()
method's arguments besides the below clause, I think that you can pass multiple arguments to the onFulfilled()
method as long as the promise's value is the first argument.
2.2.2.1 it must be called after promise is fulfilled, with promise’s value as its first argument.
Attach a Regular Expression Validator to the text box and make its expression be this:
^\d+$
And do your server side validation too, of course.
In-order, Pre-order, and Post-order traversals are Depth-First traversals.
For a Graph, the complexity of a Depth First Traversal is O(n + m), where n is the number of nodes, and m is the number of edges.
Since a Binary Tree is also a Graph, the same applies here. The complexity of each of these Depth-first traversals is O(n+m).
Since the number of edges that can originate from a node is limited to 2 in the case of a Binary Tree, the maximum number of total edges in a Binary Tree is n-1, where n is the total number of nodes.
The complexity then becomes O(n + n-1), which is O(n).
I've just found a great way of doing that. In my example I'm using a RichTextBox but it should work with any Control:
public class DisabledRichTextBox : System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox
{
// See: http://wiki.winehq.org/List_Of_Windows_Messages
private const int WM_SETFOCUS = 0x07;
private const int WM_ENABLE = 0x0A;
private const int WM_SETCURSOR = 0x20;
protected override void WndProc(ref System.Windows.Forms.Message m)
{
if (!(m.Msg == WM_SETFOCUS || m.Msg == WM_ENABLE || m.Msg == WM_SETCURSOR))
base.WndProc(ref m);
}
}
You can safely set Enabled = true and ReadOnly = false, and it will act like a label, preventing focus, user input, cursor change, without being actually disabled.
See if it works for you. Greetings
I know the question specifies Excel, but since the same question for Access got marked as duplicate, so I will post my answer here. The principle is simple: open a new Access application, then open a form with a timer inside that application, send the function/sub you want to execute to that form, execute the task if the timer hits, and quit the application once execution has finished. This allows the VBA to work with tables and queries from your database. Note: it will throw errors if you've exclusively locked the database.
This is all VBA (as opposed to other answers)
The function that runs a sub/function asynchronously
Public Sub RunFunctionAsync(FunctionName As String)
Dim A As Access.Application
Set A = New Access.Application
A.OpenCurrentDatabase Application.CurrentProject.FullName
A.DoCmd.OpenForm "MultithreadingEngine"
With A.Forms("MultiThreadingEngine")
.TimerInterval = 10
.AddToTaskCollection (FunctionName)
End With
End Sub
The module of the form required to achieve this
(form name = MultiThreadingEngine, doesn't have any controls or properties set)
Public TaskCollection As Collection
Public Sub AddToTaskCollection(str As String)
If TaskCollection Is Nothing Then
Set TaskCollection = New Collection
End If
TaskCollection.Add str
End Sub
Private Sub Form_Timer()
If Not TaskCollection Is Nothing Then
If TaskCollection.Count <> 0 Then
Dim CollectionItem As Variant
For Each CollectionItem In TaskCollection
Run CollectionItem
Next CollectionItem
End If
End If
Application.Quit
End Sub
Implementing support for parameters should be easy enough, returning values is difficult, however.
p = {1,2,3} is wrong.
You can never use this:
int * p;
p = {1,2,3};
loop is right
int *p,i;
p = malloc(3*sizeof(int));
for(i = 0; i<3; ++i)
p[i] = i;
you may use yourArray.length

Make sure yourArray is not null before doing yourArray.length
, otherwise you will end up with NullPointerException

There's a drop down just above the code window:
It's called Navigation bar and contains three drop downs: first drop down contains project, second type and third members (methods).
You can use the shortcut Ctrl + F2 (move focus to the project drop down) and press Tab twice (move focus to the third drop down) to focus it, down arrow will expand the list.
Maybe not so perfect as above ones, but I guess this is what you were looking for.
data[1:1,3:3] #works with positive integers
data[1:1, -3:-3] #does not work, gives the entire 1st row without the 3rd element

Here indexing will work from 1, i.e,
data[1:1,1:1] #means the top-leftmost element

That's because you should pass a function, not a string:
function funcName() {
alert("test");
}
setInterval(funcName, 10000);
Your code has two problems:
var func = funcName();
calls the function immediately and assigns the return value."func"
is invalid even if you use the bad and deprecated eval-like syntax of setInterval. It would be setInterval("func()", 10000)
to call the function eval-like.It's not immediately obvious from the documentation why the following does not work:
<span style={font-size: 1.7} class="glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign"></span>
But when doing it entirely inline:
"em"
class
is className
The correct way looks like this:
<span style={{fontSize: 1.7 + "em"}} className="glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign"></span>

Unit testing is meant for testing the very basic functionality (the lowest level functions of the application) to be sure that your application building blocks work correctly. There is probably no formal definition of what does that exactly mean, but you should consider other kinds of testing for the bigger functionality -- see Integration testing. The unit testing framework may not be ideal for the purpose.
I have came across the very-very-same problem.
In short:
I have made a test with ALL possible (sane) combinations of the following:
Resources/public/css
) with the CSS and a "private" directory (as Resources/assets/css
).This gave me a total of 14 combinations on the same twig, and this route was launched from
thus giving 14 x 3 = 42 tests.
Additionally, all this has been tested working in a subdirectory, so there is no way to fool by giving absolute URLs because they would simply not work.
The tests were two unnamed images and then divs named from 'a' to 'f' for the CSS built FROM the public folder and named 'g to 'l' for the ones built from the internal path.
I observed the following:
Only 3 of the 14 tests were shown adequately on the three URLs. And NONE was from the "internal" folder (Resources/assets). It was a pre-requisite to have the spare CSS PUBLIC and then build with assetic FROM there.
These are the results:
Result launched with /app_dev.php/
Result launched with /app.php/
Result launched with /
So... ONLY - The second image - Div B - Div C are the allowed syntaxes.

All this came, because I did not want the individual original files exposed to the public, specially if I wanted to play with "less" filter or "sass" or similar... I did not want my "originals" published, only the compiled one.
But there are good news. If you don't want to have the "spare CSS" in the public directories... install them not with --symlink
, but really making a copy. Once "assetic" has built the compound CSS, and you can DELETE the original CSS from the filesystem, and leave the images:
Compilation process
Note I do this for the --env=prod
environment.
Just a few final thoughts:
This desired behaviour can be achieved by having the images in "public" directory in Git or Mercurial and the "css" in the "assets" directory. That is, instead of having them in "public" as shown in the directories, imagine a, b, c... residing in the "assets" instead of "public", than have your installer/deployer (probably a Bash script) to put the CSS temporarily inside the "public" dir before assets:install
is executed, then assets:install
, then assetic:dump
, and then automating the removal of CSS from the public directory after assetic:dump
has been executed. This would achive EXACTLY the behaviour desired in the question.
Another (unknown if possible) solution would be to explore if "assets:install" can only take "public" as the source or could also take "assets" as a source to publish. That would help when installed with the --symlink
option when developing.
Additionally, if we are going to script the removal from the "public" dir, then, the need of storing them in a separate directory ("assets") disappears. They can live inside "public" in our version-control system as there will be dropped upon deploy to the public. This allows also for the --symlink
usage.
BUT ANYWAY, CAUTION NOW: As now the originals are not there anymore (rm -Rf
), there are only two solutions, not three. The working div "B" does not work anymore as it was an asset() call assuming there was the original asset. Only "C" (the compiled one) will work.
So... there is ONLY a FINAL WINNER: Div "C" allows EXACTLY what it was asked in the topic: To be compiled, respect the path to the images and do not expose the original source to the public.
The winner is C
As per late 2020 this as easy as follows.

Init the autocomplete and process the selected place data generally same as all answers above. But use autocomplete.setFields(['geometry'])
to get coordinates back;
const autocomplete;
// Init the autocomplete object
function initAutocomplete() {
autocomplete = new window.google.maps.places.Autocomplete(
document.getElementById('current_location'), { types: ["geocode"] }
);
// !!! This is where you set `geometry` field to be returned with the place.
autocomplete.setFields(['address_component', 'geometry']); // <--
autocomplete.addListener("place_changed", fillInAddress);
}
// Process the address selected by user
function fillInAddress() {
const place = autocomplete.getPlace();
// Here you can get your coordinates like this
console.log(place.geometry.location.lat());
console.log(place.geometry.location.lng());
}
See the Google API docs on Autocomplete.setFields
and geometry
option.
DefN
A DTO is a hardcoded data model. It only solves the problem of modeling a data record handled by a hardcoded production process, where all fields are known at compile-time and therefore accessed via strongly typed properties.
In contrast, a dynamic model or "property bag" solves the problem of modeling a data record when the production process is created at runtime.
The Cvar
A DTO can be modeled with fields or properties, but someone invented a very useful data container called the Cvar. It is a reference to a value. When a DTO is modeled with what I call reference properties, modules can be configured to share heap memory and thereby collaboratively work on it. This completely eliminates parameter passing and O2O communication from your code. In other words, DTOs having reference properties allow code to achieve zero coupling.
class Cvar { ... }
class Cvar<T> : Cvar
{
public T Value { get; set; }
}
class MyDTO
{
public Cvar<int> X { get; set; }
public Cvar<int> Y { get; set; }
public Cvar<string> mutableString { get; set; } // >;)
}
Source: http://www.powersemantics.com/
Dynamic DTOs are a necessary component for dynamic software. To instantiate a dynamic process, one compiler step is to bind each machine in the script to the reference properties the script defines. A dynamic DTO is built by adding the Cvars to a collection.
// a dynamic DTO
class CvarRegistry : Dictionary<string, Cvar> { }

Note: because Wix labeled the use of DTOs for organizing parameters as an "anti-pattern", I will give an authoritative opinion.
return View(model); // MVC disagrees
My collaborative architecture replaces design patterns. Refer to my web articles.
Parameters provide immediate control of a stack frame machine. If you use continuous control and therefore do not need immediate control, your modules do not need parameters. My architecture has none. In-process configuration of machines (methods) adds complexity but also value (performance) when the parameters are value types. However, reference type parameters make the consumer cause cache misses to get the values off the heap anyway -- therefore, just configure the consumer with reference properties. Fact from mechanical engineering: reliance on parameters is a kind of preoptimization, because processing (making components) itself is waste. Refer to my W article for more information. http://www.powersemantics.com/w.html.
Fowler and company might realize the benefits of DTOs outside of distributed architecture if they had ever known any other architecture. Programmers only know distributed systems. Integrated collaborative systems (aka production aka manufacturing) are something I had to claim as my own architecture, because I am the first to write code this way.
Some consider the DTO an anemic domain model, meaning it lacks functionality, but this assumes an object must own the data it interacts with. This conceptual model then forces you to deliver the data between objects, which is the model for distributed processing. However on a manufacturing line, each step can access the end product and change it without owning or controlling it. That's the difference between distributed and integrated processing. Manufacturing separates the product from operations and logistics.
There's nothing inherently wrong with modeling processing as a bunch of useless office workers who e-mail work to one another without keeping an e-mail trail, except for all the extra work and headache it creates in handling logistics and return problems. A properly modeled distributed process attaches a document (active routing) to the product describing what operations it came from and will go to. The active routing is a copy of the process source routing, which is written before the process begins. In the event of a defect or other emergency change, the active routing is modified to include the operation steps it will be sent to. This then accounts for all the labor which went into production.
For objects you can nest the queries:
DB::table('orders')->find(DB::table('orders')->max('id'));
So the inside query looks up the max id in the table and then passes that to the find, which gets you back the object.
I think your best shot is a border-left
property that is assigned to each one of the li
s except the first one (You would have to give the first one a class named first
and explicitly remove the border for that).
Even if you are generating the <li>
programmatically, assigning a first
class should be easy.
Try saving the file as Excel Workbook ONLY. NOT any other format. It worked for me. I was getting the same error.
I think you can try to firstly select all the text in the field and then send the new sequence:
from selenium.webdriver.common.keys import Keys
element.sendKeys(Keys.chord(Keys.CONTROL, "a"), "55");
content: "";
background-image: url("yourimage.jpg");
background-size: 30px, 30px;

You can use .prop() with tagName
as the name of the property that you want to get:
$("#elementId").prop('tagName');
A standard prolog predicate will do this.
isfive(5).
will evaluate to true if you call it with 5 and fail(return false) if you run it with anything else. For not equal you use \=
isNotEqual(A,B):- A\=B.
Technically it is does not unify, but it is similar to not equal.
Learn Prolog Now is a good website for learning prolog.
Edit: To add another example.
isEqual(A,A).
The lattice
library is another good option. Here I've added a legend on the right side and jittered the points because some of them overlapped.
xyplot(Sepal.Width ~ Sepal.Length, group=Species, data=iris,
auto.key=list(space="right"),
jitter.x=TRUE, jitter.y=TRUE)
You can't do that with Mockito but you can use Powermock to extend Mockito and mock private methods. Powermock supports Mockito. Here's an example.
It's a linker error. ld
is the linker, so if you get an error message ending with "ld returned 1 exit status", that tells you that it's a linker error.
The error message tells you that none of the object files you're linking against contains a definition for avergecolumns
. The reason for that is that the function you've defined is called averagecolumns
(in other words: you misspelled the function name when calling the function (and presumably in the header file as well - otherwise you'd have gotten a different error at compile time)).

Basically run it with:
-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=y,address=1044
The application, at launch, will wait until you connect from another source.
With Java 7 or above you could use
ThreadLocalRandom.current().nextInt(int origin, int bound)
Javadoc: ThreadLocalRandom.nextInt
Use the response.info()
method to get the headers.
From the urllib2 docs:
urllib2.urlopen(url[, data][, timeout])
...
This function returns a file-like object with two additional methods:
- geturl() — return the URL of the resource retrieved, commonly used to determine if a redirect was followed
- info() — return the meta-information of the page, such as headers, in the form of an httplib.HTTPMessage instance (see Quick Reference to HTTP Headers)
So, for your example, try stepping through the result of response.info().headers
for what you're looking for.
Note the major caveat to using httplib.HTTPMessage is documented in python issue 4773.
I think the prop method is more convenient when it comes to boolean attribute. http://api.jquery.com/prop/
return new String(Hex.encode(digest));
code () {
if [[ $# = 0 ]]
then
open -a "Visual Studio Code"
else
echo "Opening: "$@
"/Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/MacOS/Electron" $@
fi
}
I put that into my .bash_profile
I tested it and it works.
Latest and greatest way to do this:
Node supports file and buffer operations with the base64
encoding:
const fs = require('fs');
const contents = fs.readFileSync('/path/to/file.jpg', {encoding: 'base64'});
Or using the new promises API:
const fs = require('fs').promises;
const contents = await fs.readFile('/path/to/file.jpg', {encoding: 'base64'});
If you're looking for an HTML only way of doing this in angular...
<div #myDiv class="my_class" (click)="myDiv.classList.toggle('active')">
Some content
</div>
The important bit is the #myDiv
part.
It's a HTML Node reference, so you can use that variable as if it was assigned to document.querySelector('.my_class')
NOTE: this variable is scope specific, so you can use it in *ngFor
statements
Adding background image on html, body or a wrapper element to achieve background image will cause problems with padding. Check this ticket https://github.com/twitter/bootstrap/issues/3169 on github. ShaunR's comment and also one of the creators response to this. The given solution in created ticket doesn't solve the problem, but it at least gets things going if you aren't using responsive features.
Assuming that you are using container without responsive features, and have a width of 960px, and want to achieve 10px padding, you set:
.container {
min-width: 940px;
padding: 10px;
}
<UserControl.Resources>
<Style x:Key="myLBStyle" TargetType="{x:Type ListBoxItem}">
<Style.Resources>
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="{x:Static SystemColors.HighlightBrushKey}"
Color="Transparent"/>
</Style.Resources>
</Style>
</UserControl.Resources>
and
<ListBox ItemsSource="{Binding Path=FirstNames}"
ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource myLBStyle}">
You just override the style of the listboxitem (see the: TargetType is ListBoxItem)
I found some answers, but I don't know if it is the right way.This is my solution for now. Fortunatelly it didn´t broke my design mode.

It happened in IE 11 for me. And I was calling the jquery .load function. So I did it the old fashion way and put something in the url to disable cacheing.
$("#divToReplaceHtml").load('@Url.Action("Action", "Controller")/' + @Model.ID + "?nocache=" + new Date().getTime());
Here is the best solution I found:
function digitsum(n) {
n = n.toString();
let result = 0;
for (let i = 0; i < n.length; i++) {
result += parseInt(n[i]);
}
return result;
}
console.log(digitsum(192));
--create a user that you want to use the database as:
create role neil;
--create the user for the web server to connect as:
create role webgui noinherit login password 's3cr3t';
--let webgui set role to neil:
grant neil to webgui; --this looks backwards but is correct.
webgui
is now in the neil
group, so webgui
can call set role neil
. However, webgui
did not inherit neil
's permissions.
Later, login as webgui:
psql -d some_database -U webgui
(enter s3cr3t as password)
set role neil;
webgui
does not need superuser
permission for this.
You want to set role
at the beginning of a database session and reset it at the end of the session. In a web app, this corresponds to getting a connection from your database connection pool and releasing it, respectively. Here's an example using Tomcat's connection pool and Spring Security:
public class SetRoleJdbcInterceptor extends JdbcInterceptor {
@Override
public void reset(ConnectionPool connectionPool, PooledConnection pooledConnection) {
Authentication authentication = SecurityContextHolder.getContext().getAuthentication();
if(authentication != null) {
try {
/*
use OWASP's ESAPI to encode the username to avoid SQL Injection. Can't use parameters with SET ROLE. Need to write PG codec.
Or use a whitelist-map approach
*/
String username = ESAPI.encoder().encodeForSQL(MY_CODEC, authentication.getName());
Statement statement = pooledConnection.getConnection().createStatement();
statement.execute("set role \"" + username + "\"");
statement.close();
} catch(SQLException exp){
throw new RuntimeException(exp);
}
}
}
@Override
public Object invoke(Object proxy, Method method, Object[] args) throws Throwable {
if("close".equals(method.getName())){
Statement statement = ((Connection)proxy).createStatement();
statement.execute("reset role");
statement.close();
}
return super.invoke(proxy, method, args);
}
}
You can delete any QuerySet you'd like. For example, to delete all blog posts with some Post model
Post.objects.all().delete()
and to delete any Post with a future publication date
Post.objects.filter(pub_date__gt=datetime.now()).delete()
You do, however, need to come up with a way to narrow down your QuerySet. If you just want a view to delete a particular object, look into the delete generic view.
EDIT:
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I think the answer is somewhere between. To implement your own, combine ModelForm
s and generic views. Otherwise, look into 3rd party apps that provide similar functionality. In a related question, the recommendation was django-filter.
As of HttpComponents 4.2+
there is a new class URIBuilder, which provides convenient way for generating URIs.
You can use either create URI directly from String URL:
List<NameValuePair> listOfParameters = ...;
URI uri = new URIBuilder("http://example.com:8080/path/to/resource?mandatoryParam=someValue")
.addParameter("firstParam", firstVal)
.addParameter("secondParam", secondVal)
.addParameters(listOfParameters)
.build();
Otherwise, you can specify all parameters explicitly:
URI uri = new URIBuilder()
.setScheme("http")
.setHost("example.com")
.setPort(8080)
.setPath("/path/to/resource")
.addParameter("mandatoryParam", "someValue")
.addParameter("firstParam", firstVal)
.addParameter("secondParam", secondVal)
.addParameters(listOfParameters)
.build();
Once you have created URI
object, then you just simply need to create HttpGet
object and perform it:
//create GET request
HttpGet httpGet = new HttpGet(uri);
//perform request
httpClient.execute(httpGet ...//additional parameters, handle response etc.
You've probably miss-typed something above that bit of code or created your own class called IPAddress. If you're using the .net one, that function should be available.
Have you tried using System.Net.IPAddress just in case?
System.Net.IPAddress ipaddress = System.Net.IPAddress.Parse("127.0.0.1"); //127.0.0.1 as an example
The docs on Microsoft's site have a complete example which works fine on my machine.
If you mean you are only getting a null return when you use NUnit, then you probably need to copy the ConnectionString value the your app.config of your application to the app.config of your test library.
When it is run by the test loader, the test assembly is loaded at runtime and will look in its own app.config (renamed to testAssembly.dll.config at compile time) rather then your applications config file.
To get the location of the assembly you're running, try
System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location
My problem was that POST requests need trailing slashes '/'.
Maybe I will suggest alternative solution:
function checkPalindrom (str) {
return str == str.split('').reverse().join('');
}
UPD. Keep in mind however that this is pretty much "cheating" approach, a demonstration of smart usage of language features, but not the most practical algorithm (time O(n), space O(n)). For real life application or coding interview you should definitely use loop solution. The one posted by Jason Sebring in this thread is both simple and efficient (time O(n), space O(1)).
just indent your code correctly:
def determine_period(universe_array):
period=0
tmp=universe_array
while True:
tmp=apply_rules(tmp)#aplly_rules is a another function
period+=1
if numpy.array_equal(tmp,universe_array) is True:
return period
if period>12: #i wrote this line to stop it..but seems its doesnt work....help..
return 0
else:
return period
You need to understand that the break
statement in your example will exit the infinite loop you've created with while True
. So when the break condition is True, the program will quit the infinite loop and continue to the next indented block. Since there is no following block in your code, the function ends and don't return anything. So I've fixed your code by replacing the break
statement by a return
statement.
Following your idea to use an infinite loop, this is the best way to write it:
def determine_period(universe_array):
period=0
tmp=universe_array
while True:
tmp=apply_rules(tmp)#aplly_rules is a another function
period+=1
if numpy.array_equal(tmp,universe_array) is True:
break
if period>12: #i wrote this line to stop it..but seems its doesnt work....help..
period = 0
break
return period
One thing that I have observed is likely the email address you're providing is not a valid email address at the domain. like [email protected]. The email should be existing at Google Domain. I had alot of issues before figuring that out myself... Hope it helps.
You just need to manually set the desired permissions with chmod()
:
private function writeFileContent($file, $content){
$fp = fopen($file, 'w');
fwrite($fp, $content);
fclose($fp);
// Set perms with chmod()
chmod($file, 0777);
return true;
}
#sort dataframe by col
sort.df <- with(df, df[order(sortbythiscolumn) , ])
#can also sort by more than one variable: sort by col1 and then by col2
sort2.df <- with(df, df[order(col1, col2) , ])
#sort in reverse order
sort2.df <- with(df, df[order(col1, -col2) , ])
Yet another CSS solution. Does not Work for popups that are bigger than the view port.
.modal-dialog {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
left: 0;
margin-top: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
}
.modal.fade .modal-dialog {
transition: top 0.4s ease-out;
transform: translate(0, -50%);
top: 0;
}
.modal.in .modal-dialog {
transform: translate(0, -50%);
top: 50%;
}
In .modal-dialog
class overriding the position to absolute(from relative) and centering the content right:0, left: 0
In .modal.fade .modal-dialog , .modal.in .modal-dialog
setting the transition animation over top
rather than on translate.
margin-top
moves the popup slightly below the center in case of small popup and in case of long popups, the modal is stuck with header. Hence margin-top:0, margin-bottom:0
Need to further refine it.
use
System.out.print( nir[0].length);
look at this for loop which print the content of the 2 dimension array the second loop iterate over the column in each row
for(int row =0 ; row < ntr.length; ++row)
for(int column =0; column<ntr[row].length;++column)
System.out.print(ntr[row][column]);
Your @JsonSubTypes
declaration does not make sense: it needs to list implementation (sub-) classes, NOT the class itself (which would be pointless). So you need to modify that entry to list sub-class(es) there are; or use some other mechanism to register sub-classes (SimpleModule
has something like addAbstractTypeMapping
).
You may try creating a new project in netbeans and then copy and and paste the files into it. I usually experience this problem when the project wasn't created in netbeans.
No need to downgrade the build tools back to 18.1.11, this issue is fixed with build tools 19.0.1.
If you can't use 19.0.1 for some reason then:
Make sure that the value of android:targetSdkVersion
in AndroidManifest.xml matches target=android-<value>
in project.properties. If these two values are not the same, building with build tools version 19.0.0 will end in the BufferOverflowException. Source
There is also some indication from comments on this post that you need to target at least 19 (android-19). Please leave a comment if this solution also works if your target is < 19.
This is how the fix looks for my project. The related AOSP issue is #61710.
1 If you really need to downgrade, you don't need to uninstall build tools 19.0.0, simply install 18.1.1 and add sdk.buildtools=18.1.1
to the local.properties
file.
Try
<div style="max-width:200px; word-wrap:break-word;">Texttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt</div>

request.UserAgent = "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 7.1; Trident/5.0)";
request.Accept = "/";
request.UseDefaultCredentials = true;
request.Proxy.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;
doc.Save(request.GetRequestStream());
HttpWebResponse resp = request.GetResponse() as HttpWebResponse;

Active Directory does not store the group membership on user objects. It only stores the Member list on the group. The tools show the group membership on user objects by doing queries for it.
How about:
(&(objectClass=group)(member=cn=my,ou=full,dc=domain))
(You forgot the (& ) bit in your example in the question as well).
Quick and dirty:
$ perl -MXML::Simple -e 1
I don't think you can turn JavaScript objects into JSON strings using only jQuery, assuming you need the JSON string as output.
Depending on the browsers you are targeting, you can use the JSON.stringify
function to produce JSON strings.
See http://www.json.org/js.html for more information, there you can also find a JSON parser for older browsers that don't support the JSON object natively.
In your case:
var array = [];
$("input[class=email]").each(function() {
array.push({
title: $(this).attr("title"),
email: $(this).val()
});
});
// then to get the JSON string
var jsonString = JSON.stringify(array);

I have no idea what linux distribution "ubuntu centOS" is. Ubuntu and CentOS are two different distributions.
To answer the question in the header: To install make in ubuntu you have to install build-essentials
sudo apt-get install build-essential
JonSkeet has a good answer but as an alternative if you wanted to keep the result more portable you could convert the date into an ISO 8601 format which could then be read into most other frameworks but this may fall outside your requirements.
value.ToUniversalTime().ToString("O");
You can use the deprecated AppDomain.GetCurrentThreadId
to get the ID of the currently running thread. This method uses a PInvoke to the Win32 API method GetCurrentThreadID
, and will return the Windows thread ID.
This method is marked as deprecated because the .NET Thread object does not correspond to a single Windows thread, and as such there is no stable ID which can be returned by Windows for a given .NET thread.
See configurator's answer for more reasons why this is the case.
You can also reduce this to one line. This is the code I used to set the Icon for my main window. It assumes the .ico file is marked as Content and is being copied to the output directory.
this.Icon = new BitmapImage(new Uri("Icon.ico", UriKind.Relative));
I took your example and edited it:
SELECT *
FROM sys.indexes i
JOIN sys.partitions p
ON i.index_id = p.index_id
JOIN sys.allocation_units a
ON a.container_id = (CASE
WHEN a.type IN (1, 3)
THEN p.hobt_id
WHEN a.type IN (2)
THEN p.partition_id
ELSE NULL
END)
From 6.11. Boolean operations:
In the context of Boolean operations, and also when expressions are used by control flow statements, the following values are interpreted as false: False, None, numeric zero of all types, and empty strings and containers (including strings, tuples, lists, dictionaries, sets and frozensets). All other values are interpreted as true.
The key phrasing here that I think you are misunderstanding is "interpreted as false" or "interpreted as true". This does not mean that any of those values are identical to True or False, or even equal to True or False.
The expression '/bla/bla/bla'
will be treated as true where a Boolean expression is expected (like in an if
statement), but the expressions '/bla/bla/bla' is True
and '/bla/bla/bla' == True
will evaluate to False for the reasons in Ignacio's answer.
A slight variation on Richards answer but readTree
can take a string so you can simplify it to:
ObjectMapper mapper = new ObjectMapper();
JsonNode actualObj = mapper.readTree("{\"k1\":\"v1\"}");
Old question, but thought I'd share my solution anyway. Pretty simple.
dicta_set = set(dicta.items()) # creates a set of tuples (k/v pairs)
dictb_set = set(dictb.items())
setdiff = dictb_set.difference(dicta_set) # any set method you want for comparisons
for k, v in setdiff: # unpack the tuples for processing
print(f"k/v differences = {k}: {v}")
This code creates two sets of tuples representing the k/v pairs. It then uses a set method of your choosing to compare the tuples. Lastly, it unpacks the tuples (k/v pairs) for processing.
Subdirectories are not allowed, the resource must contain only [a-z0-9_.].
No you have uppercase letters, and no forward slashes.
INNER JOIN = JOIN
INNER JOIN is the default if you don't specify the type when you use the word JOIN.
You can also use LEFT OUTER JOIN or RIGHT OUTER JOIN, in which case the word OUTER is optional, or you can specify CROSS JOIN.
OR
For an inner join, the syntax is:
SELECT ...
FROM TableA
[INNER] JOIN TableB(in other words, the "INNER" keyword is optional - results are the same with or without it)
in Angular 2.x.x , 4, 5 ...
<form #loginForm="ngForm">
<input type="text" required>
<button type="submit" [disabled]="loginForm.form.invalid">Submit</button>
</form>
The principle of subqueries is not at all bad, but I don't think that you should use it in your example. If I understand correctly you want to get the maximum score for each date. In this case you should use a GROUP BY.
I know you are specifically asking about the PHP timeout, but what no one else seems to have mentioned is that there can also be a timeout on the webserver and it can look very similar to the PHP timeout.
So if you have tried:
And you have checked with the phpinfo() function that max_execution_time has indeed be increased, then you might want to try adding this to .htaccess which will make sure Apache itself does not time out:
RewriteRule .* - [E=noabort:1]
RewriteRule .* - [E=noconntimeout:1]
More info here: https://www.antropy.co.uk/blog/php-script-keeps-timing-out-despite-ini-set/
There is an important detail that has been omitted in the answer above.
MySQL imposes a limit of 65,535 bytes for the max size of each row.
The size of a VARCHAR
column is counted towards the maximum row size, while TEXT
columns are assumed to be storing their data by reference so they only need 9-12 bytes. That means even if the "theoretical" max size of your VARCHAR
field is 65,535 characters you won't be able to achieve that if you have more than one column in your table.
Also note that the actual number of bytes required by a VARCHAR
field is dependent on the encoding of the column (and the content). MySQL counts the maximum possible bytes used toward the max row size, so if you use a multibyte encoding like utf8mb4
(which you almost certainly should) it will use up even more of your maximum row size.
Correction: Regardless of how MySQL computes the max row size, whether or not the VARCHAR
/TEXT
field data is ACTUALLY stored in the row or stored by reference depends on your underlying storage engine. For InnoDB the row format affects this behavior. (Thanks Bill-Karwin)

I would use TreeMap
, which implements SortedMap
. It is designed exactly for that.
Example:
Map<Integer, String> map = new TreeMap<Integer, String>();
// Add Items to the TreeMap
map.put(1, "One");
map.put(2, "Two");
map.put(3, "Three");
// Iterate over them
for (Map.Entry<Integer, String> entry : map.entrySet()) {
System.out.println(entry.getKey() + " => " + entry.getValue());
}
See the Java tutorial page for SortedMap.
And here a list of tutorials related to TreeMap.

Set<Entry<String, Integer>> set = hm.entrySet();
List<Entry<String, Integer>> list = new ArrayList<Entry<String, Integer>>(

Collections.sort(list, new Comparator<Map.Entry<String, Integer>>() {

Map.Entry<String, Integer> o2) {

The -Wl,xxx
option for gcc passes a comma-separated list of tokens as a space-separated list of arguments to the linker. So
gcc -Wl,aaa,bbb,ccc
eventually becomes a linker call
ld aaa bbb ccc
In your case, you want to say "ld -rpath .
", so you pass this to gcc as -Wl,-rpath,.
Alternatively, you can specify repeat instances of -Wl
:
gcc -Wl,aaa -Wl,bbb -Wl,ccc
Note that there is no comma between aaa
and the second -Wl
.
Or, in your case, -Wl,-rpath -Wl,.
.
Putting together comments from a couple different answers here, in the Solr docs and on the other SO question, I found that the following syntax produces the correct result for my use case
(my_field=my_value or my_field is null):
(my_field:"my_value" OR (*:* NOT my_field:*))
This works for solr 4.1.0. This is slightly different than the use case in the OP; but, I thought that others would find it useful.

Usually number validation is done with regular expressions. This code will determine if something is numeric as well as check for undefined variables as to not throw warnings:
sub is_integer {

sub is_float {
defined $_[0] && $_[0] =~ /^[+-]?\d+(\.\d+)?$/;
}

I have wondered the same thing. Basically it appears that the html spec has different content types for html and form data. Json only has a single content type.
According to the spec, a POST of json data should have the content-type:
application/json
Relevant portion of the HTML spec
6.7 Content types (MIME types)
...
Examples of content types include "text/html", "image/png", "image/gif", "video/mpeg", "text/css", and "audio/basic".17.13.4 Form content types
...
application/x-www-form-urlencoded
This is the default content type. Forms submitted with this content type must be encoded as follows

The MIME media type for JSON text is application/json.
I would ALWAYS go with both the alt
and the title
attributes. Many developers have been using this pattern now for over 20 years to deal with IE and other issues. So this is not new knowledge. Its just been rediscovered by new developers that didn't bother to learn from the past.
In addition, in HTML5 you should start using the new HTML5 picture
element wrapped in figure
with full WPA-ARIA attributes for greater accessibility, as well as support of assistive technologies, screen readers, and the like. Because this element is not supported in many older browsers...BUT degrades gracefully...I recommend the following HTML design pattern now for images in HTML:
<figure aria-labelledby="picturecaption2">
<picture id="picture2">
<source srcset="image.webp" type="image/webp" media="(min-width: 800px)" />
<source srcset="image.gif" type="image/gif" />
<img id="image2" style="height:auto;max-width: 100%;" src="image.jpg" width="255" height="200" alt="image:The World Wide Web" title="The World Wide Web" loading="lazy" no-referrer="no-referrer" onerror="this.onerror=null;" />
</picture>
<figcaption id="picturecaption2"><small>"My Cool Picture" [<a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/" target="_blank">A License</a>] , via <a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/" target="_blank">Wikimedia Commons</a></small></figcaption>
</figure>
The code above has many extra "goodies" beside alt
and title
, including ARIA attributes, support for WebP, a media query supporting higher resolution imagery, and a nice fallback pattern supporting older image formats. It shows a fully decorated image example that uses new technologies while still supporting old ones with progressive design patterns.
REMEMBER...ALWAYS SUPPORT THE OLD BROWSERS!

You need a SQL profiler, which actually runs outside SQL Management Studio. If you have a paid version of SQL Server (like the developer edition), it should be included in that as another utility.
If you're using a free edition (SQL Express), they have freeware profiles that you can download. I've used AnjLab's profiler (available at http://sites.google.com/site/sqlprofiler), and it seemed to work well.
If you look at the javadoc for the class SyndFeed
(I guess you are referring to the class com.sun.syndication.feed.synd.SyndFeed

.
So you need an explicit cast for this.
For convenience, one may include tgmath.h
library for the type generate macros. It creates the same function name as the double version for all type of variable. For example, For example, it defines a sqrt()
macro that expands to the sqrtf()

, or sqrtl()
function, depending on the type of argument provided.
So one don't need to remember the corresponding function name for different type of variables!

As for example usages of unsigned char:
unsigned char
is often used in computer graphics, which very often (though not always) assigns a single byte to each colour component. It is common to see an RGB (or RGBA) colour represented as 24 (or 32) bits, each an unsigned char
. Since unsigned char
values fall in the range [0,255], the values are typically interpreted as:
So you would end up with RGB red as (255,0,0) -> (100% red, 0% green, 0% blue).
Why not use a signed char
? Arithmetic and bit shifting becomes problematic. As explained already, a signed char
's range is essentially shifted by -128. A very simple and naive (mostly unused) method for converting RGB to grayscale is to average all three colour components, but this runs into problems when the values of the colour components are negative. Red (255, 0, 0) averages to (85, 85, 85) when using unsigned char
arithmetic. However, if the values were signed char
s (127,-128,-128), we would end up with (-99, -99, -99), which would be (29, 29, 29) in our unsigned char
space, which is incorrect.

It sounds like Festival has a few public APIs, too:
Festival offers a BSD socket-based interface. This allows Festival to run as a server and allow client programs to access it. Basically the server offers a new command interpreter for each client that attaches to it. The server is forked for each client but this is much faster than having to wait for a Festival process to start from scratch. Also the server can run on a bigger machine, offering much faster synthesis. linky
There's also a full-featured C++ API, which you might be able to make a Python module out of (it's fun!). Festival also offers a pared-down C API -- keep scrolling in that document -- which you might be able to throw ctypes
at for a one-off.
Perhaps you've identified a hole in the market?
This is not a reply (I cant post comments), just few random ideas might be helpful. Unfortunately I've never dealt with citrix, only with regular windows servers.

pgcrypto
ExtensionAs of Postgres 9.4, the pgcrypto
module includes the gen_random_uuid()
function. This function generates one of the random-number based Version 4 type of UUID.
Get contrib modules, if not already available.
sudo apt-get install postgresql-contrib-9.4
Use pgcrypto
module.
CREATE EXTENSION "pgcrypto";
The gen_random_uuid()
function should now available;
Example usage.
INSERT INTO items VALUES( gen_random_uuid(), 54.321, 31, 'desc 1', 31.94 ) ;
Quote from Postgres doc on uuid-ossp
module.
Note: If you only need randomly-generated (version 4) UUIDs, consider using the gen_random_uuid() function from the pgcrypto module instead.
To view the content in alert use:

This one interested me, and I finally had a chance to look into it. Other folks apparently haven't understood that this is an issue with finding the view, not an issue with the routing itself - and that's probably because your question title indicates that it's about routing.
In any case, because this is a View-related issue, the only way to get what you want is to override the default view engine. Normally, when you do this, it's for the simple purpose of switching your view engine (i.e. to Spark, NHaml, etc.). In this case, it's not the View-creation logic we need to override, but the FindPartialView
and FindView
methods in the VirtualPathProviderViewEngine
class.
You can thank your lucky stars that these methods are in fact virtual, because everything else in the VirtualPathProviderViewEngine
is not even accessible - it's private, and that makes it very annoying to override the find logic because you have to basically rewrite half of the code that's already been written if you want it to play nice with the location cache and the location formats. After some digging in Reflector I finally managed to come up with a working solution.
What I've done here is to first create an abstract AreaAwareViewEngine
that derives directly from VirtualPathProviderViewEngine
instead of WebFormViewEngine
. I did this so that if you want to create Spark views instead (or whatever), you can still use this class as the base type.
The code below is pretty long-winded, so to give you a quick summary of what it actually does: It lets you put a {2}
into the location format, which corresponds to the area name, the same way {1}
corresponds to the controller name. That's it! That's what we had to write all this code for:
public abstract class BaseAreaAwareViewEngine : VirtualPathProviderViewEngine
{
private static readonly string[] EmptyLocations = { };
public override ViewEngineResult FindView(
ControllerContext controllerContext, string viewName,

}
public override ViewEngineResult FindPartialView(

return (ch == '/');
}
return true;
}
}
Now as stated, this isn't a concrete engine, so you have to create that as well. This part, fortunately, is much easier, all we need to do is set the default formats and actually create the views:
public class AreaAwareViewEngine : BaseAreaAwareViewEngine
{
public AreaAwareViewEngine()
{
MasterLocationFormats = new string[]
{
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/{1}/{0}.master",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/{1}/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/Shared/{0}.master",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/Shared/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Views/{1}/{0}.master",
"~/Views/{1}/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Views/Shared/{0}.master"
"~/Views/Shared/{0}.cshtml"
};
ViewLocationFormats = new string[]
{
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/{1}/{0}.aspx",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/{1}/{0}.ascx",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/{1}/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/Shared/{0}.aspx",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/Shared/{0}.ascx",
"~/Areas/{2}/Views/Shared/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Views/{1}/{0}.aspx",
"~/Views/{1}/{0}.ascx",
"~/Views/{1}/{0}.cshtml",
"~/Views/Shared/{0}.aspx"
"~/Views/Shared/{0}.ascx"
"~/Views/Shared/{0}.cshtml"
};
PartialViewLocationFormats = ViewLocationFormats;
}
protected override IView CreatePartialView(
ControllerContext controllerContext, string partialPath)
{
if (partialPath.EndsWith(".cshtml"))
return new System.Web.Mvc.RazorView(controllerContext, partialPath, null, false, null);
else
return new WebFormView(controllerContext, partialPath);
}
protected override IView CreateView(ControllerContext controllerContext,
string viewPath, string masterPath)
{
if (viewPath.EndsWith(".cshtml"))
return new RazorView(controllerContext, viewPath, masterPath, false, null);
else
return new WebFormView(controllerContext, viewPath, masterPath);
}
}
Note that we've added few entries to the standard ViewLocationFormats
. These are the new {2}
entries, where the {2}
will be mapped to the area
we put in the RouteData
. I've left the MasterLocationFormats
alone, but obviously you can change that if you want.
Now modify your global.asax
to register this view engine:
protected void Application_Start()
{
RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes);
ViewEngines.Engines.Clear();
ViewEngines.Engines.Add(new AreaAwareViewEngine());
}
...and register the default route:
public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes)
{
routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}");
routes.MapRoute(
"Area",
"",
new { area = "AreaZ", controller = "Default", action = "ActionY" }
);
routes.MapRoute(
"Default",
"{controller}/{action}/{id}",
new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = "" }
);
}
Now Create the AreaController
we just referenced:
public class DefaultController : Controller
{
public ActionResult ActionY()
{
return View("TestView");
}
}
Obviously we need the directory structure and view to go with it - we'll keep this super simple:
<%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %>
<h2>TestView</h2>
This is a test view in AreaZ.
And that's it. Finally, we're done.
For the most part, you should be able to just take the BaseAreaAwareViewEngine
and AreaAwareViewEngine
and drop it into any MVC project, so even though it took a lot of code to get this done, you only have to write it once. After that, it's just a matter of editing a few lines in global.asax.cs
and creating your site structure.
You can load the script you need with a promise based solution:
export default {
data () {
return { is_script_loading: false }
},
created () {
// If another component is already loading the script
this.$root.$on('loading_script', e => { this.is_script_loading = true })
},
methods: {
load_script () {
let self = this
return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
// if script is already loading via another component
if ( self.is_script_loading ){
// Resolve when the other component has loaded the script
this.$root.$on('script_loaded', resolve)
return
}
let script = document.createElement('script')
script.setAttribute('src', 'https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js')
script.async = true
this.$root.$emit('loading_script')
script.onload = () => {
/* emit to global event bus to inform other components
* we are already loading the script */
this.$root.$emit('script_loaded')
resolve()
}
document.head.appendChild(script)
})
},
async use_script () {
try {
await this.load_script()
// .. do what you want after script has loaded
} catch (err) { console.log(err) }
}
}
}
Please note that this.$root
is a little hacky and you should use a vuex or eventHub solution for the global events instead.
You would make the above into a component and use it wherever needed, it will only load the script when used.
NOTE: This is a Vue 2.x based solution. Vue 3 has stopped supporting $on
.
For modern browsers, the best solution is to use Promises.

There is an other weird reason this happens. If you have a file called pandas.py or a directory called pandas in the same or nested levels, that library is used instead and fails to work. Rename the folder and restart the env and it started working. Faced this
if(in_array('foo',$arg) && in_array('bar',$arg)){
//both of them are in $arg
}
if(in_array('foo',$arg) || in_array('bar',$arg)){
//at least one of them are in $arg
}
On GCC it may look like this:
const char* WeekEnumNames [] = {
[Mon] = "Mon",
[Tue] = "Tue",
[Wed] = "Wed",
[Thu] = "Thu",
[Fri] = "Fri",
[Sat] = "Sat",
[Sun] = "Sun",
};
Use @RequestParam in your method arguments so Spring can bind them, also use the @RequestMapping.params array to narrow the method that will be used by spring. Sample code:
@RequestMapping("/userGrid",
params = {"_search", "nd", "rows", "page", "sidx", "sort"})
public @ResponseBody GridModel getUsersForGrid(
@RequestParam(value = "_search") String search,
@RequestParam(value = "nd") int nd,
@RequestParam(value = "rows") int rows,
@RequestParam(value = "page") int page,
@RequestParam(value = "sidx") int sidx,
@RequestParam(value = "sort") Sort sort) {
// Stuff here
}
This way Spring will only execute this method if ALL PARAMETERS are present saving you from null checking and related stuff.
So left div style depends on the presence of right div. I can't think of a CSS selector allowing that kind of behavior yet.
Thus it seems to me that you'll need to programmatically add a class server side (or in JS) on parent div or left div to do that.
<div id="parent twocols">
<div class="left"></div>
<div class="right"></div>
</div>
or
<div id="parent">
<div class="left"></div>
</div>
So right style is always :
.right {
float: right;
width: 200px; /* or whatever value you need */
/* margin and padding at your discretion */
}
and left style is :
.parent.twocols .left {
margin-right: 200px; /* according to right div width + margin + padding*/
}
Nowadays, in 90% of case if you working with URL in Python you probably use python-requests. Hence the question here - why not reuse URL validation from requests?
from requests.models import PreparedRequest
import requests.exceptions
def check_url(url):
prepared_request = PreparedRequest()
try:
prepared_request.prepare_url(url, None)
return prepared_request.url
except requests.exceptions.MissingSchema, e:
raise SomeException
Features:
So I assume your permissions table has a foreign key reference to admin_accounts table. If so because of referential integrity you will only be able to add permissions for account ids exsiting in the admin accounts table. Which also means that you wont be able to enter a user_account_id [assuming there are no duplicates!]
I would try to avoid inserting empty lists in the first place, but, would generally use:
d = {k: v for k,v in d.iteritems() if v} # re-bind to non-empty
If prior to 2.7:
d = dict( (k, v) for k,v in d.iteritems() if v )
or just:
empty_key_vals = list(k for k in k,v in d.iteritems() if v)
for k in empty_key_vals:
del[k]
sp_spaceused gives you the size of all the indexes combined.
If you want the size of each index for a table, use one of these two queries:
SELECT
i.name AS IndexName,
SUM(s.used_page_count) * 8 AS IndexSizeKB
FROM sys.dm_db_partition_stats AS s
JOIN sys.indexes AS i
ON s.[object_id] = i.[object_id] AND s.index_id = i.index_id
WHERE s.[object_id] = object_id('dbo.TableName')
GROUP BY i.name
ORDER BY i.name
SELECT
i.name AS IndexName,
SUM(page_count * 8) AS IndexSizeKB
FROM sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats(
db_id(), object_id('dbo.TableName'), NULL, NULL, 'DETAILED') AS s
JOIN sys.indexes AS i
ON s.[object_id] = i.[object_id] AND s.index_id = i.index_id
GROUP BY i.name
ORDER BY i.name
The results are usually slightly different but within 1%.
If you're targeting at or above iOS 8 or OS X 10.10, this just got a lot easier. The new NSDateComponentsFormatter
class allows you to convert a given NSTimeInterval
from its value in seconds to a localized string to show the user. For example:
Objective-C
NSTimeInterval interval = 326.4;
NSDateComponentsFormatter *componentFormatter = [[NSDateComponentsFormatter alloc] init];
componentFormatter.unitsStyle = NSDateComponentsFormatterUnitsStylePositional;
componentFormatter.zeroFormattingBehavior = NSDateComponentsFormatterZeroFormattingBehaviorDropAll;
NSString *formattedString = [componentFormatter stringFromTimeInterval:interval];
NSLog(@"%@",formattedString); // 5:26
Swift
let interval = 326.4
let componentFormatter = NSDateComponentsFormatter()
componentFormatter.unitsStyle = .Positional
componentFormatter.zeroFormattingBehavior = .DropAll
if let formattedString = componentFormatter.stringFromTimeInterval(interval) {
print(formattedString) // 5:26
}
NSDateCompnentsFormatter
also allows for this output to be in longer forms. More info can be found in NSHipster's NSFormatter article. And depending on what classes you're already working with (if not NSTimeInterval
), it may be more convenient to pass the formatter an instance of NSDateComponents
, or two NSDate
objects, which can be done as well via the following methods.
Objective-C
NSString *formattedString = [componentFormatter stringFromDate:<#(NSDate *)#> toDate:<#(NSDate *)#>];
NSString *formattedString = [componentFormatter stringFromDateComponents:<#(NSDateComponents *)#>];
Swift
if let formattedString = componentFormatter.stringFromDate(<#T##startDate: NSDate##NSDate#>, toDate: <#T##NSDate#>) {
// ...
}
if let formattedString = componentFormatter.stringFromDateComponents(<#T##components: NSDateComponents##NSDateComponents#>) {
// ...
}
Method Overloading is known as Static Polymorphism and also Known as Compile Time Polymorphism or Static Binding because overloaded method calls get resolved at compile time by the compiler on the basis of the argument list and the reference on which we are calling the method.
And Method Overriding is known as Dynamic Polymorphism or simple Polymorphism or Runtime Method Dispatch or Dynamic Binding because overridden method call get resolved at runtime.
In order to understand why this is so let's take an example of Mammal
and Human
class
class Mammal {
public void speak() { System.out.println("ohlllalalalalalaoaoaoa"); }
}
class Human extends Mammal {
@Override
public void speak() { System.out.println("Hello"); }
public void speak(String language) {
if (language.equals("Hindi")) System.out.println("Namaste");
else System.out.println("Hello");
}
}
I have included output as well as bytecode of in below lines of code
Mammal anyMammal = new Mammal();
anyMammal.speak(); // Output - ohlllalalalalalaoaoaoa
// 10: invokevirtual #4 // Method org/programming/mitra/exercises/OverridingInternalExample$Mammal.speak:()V
Mammal humanMammal = new Human();
humanMammal.speak(); // Output - Hello
// 23: invokevirtual #4 // Method org/programming/mitra/exercises/OverridingInternalExample$Mammal.speak:()V
Human human = new Human();
human.speak(); // Output - Hello
// 36: invokevirtual #7 // Method org/programming/mitra/exercises/OverridingInternalExample$Human.speak:()V
human.speak("Hindi"); // Output - Namaste
// 42: invokevirtual #9 // Method org/programming/mitra/exercises/OverridingInternalExample$Human.speak:(Ljava/lang/String;)V
And by looking at above code we can see that the bytecodes of humanMammal.speak() , human.speak() and human.speak("Hindi") are totally different because the compiler is able to differentiate between them based on the argument list and class reference. And this is why Method Overloading is known as Static Polymorphism.
But bytecode for anyMammal.speak() and humanMammal.speak() is same because according to compiler both methods are called on Mammal reference but the output for both method calls is different because at runtime JVM knows what object a reference is holding and JVM calls the method on the object and this is why Method Overriding is known as Dynamic Polymorphism.
So from above code and bytecode, it is clear that during compilation phase calling method is considered from the reference type. But at execution time method will be called from the object which the reference is holding.
If you want to know more about this you can read more on How Does JVM Handle Method Overloading and Overriding Internally.

Try this code. I am not sure about it. But i used it to send xml data to a remote url.
You can put your script into a content-script, see
function is_json($input) {
$input = trim($input);
if (substr($input,0,1)!='{' OR substr($input,-1,1)!='}')
return false;
return is_array(@json_decode($input, true));
}
Expanding on @gecco 's answer, the following is an example that'll show you the difference:
def foo(**kwargs):
for entry in kwargs.items():
print("Key: {}, value: {}".format(entry[0], entry[1]))
# call using normal keys:
foo(a=1, b=2, c=3)
# call using an unpacked dictionary:
foo(**{"a": 1, "b":2, "c":3})
# call using a dictionary fails because the function will think you are
# giving it a positional argument
foo({"a": 1, "b": 2, "c": 3})
# this yields the same error as any other positional argument
foo(3)
foo("string")
Here you can see how unpacking a dictionary works, and why sending an actual dictionary fails
From Official documents about Re-using Layouts
Although Android offers a variety of widgets to provide small and re-usable interactive elements, you might also need to re-use larger components that require a special layout. To efficiently re-use complete layouts, you can use the tag to embed another layout inside the current layout.
Here is my header.xml file which i can reuse using include tag
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:background="#FFFFFF"
>
<TextView
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"
android:gravity="center"
android:text="@string/app_name"
android:textColor="#000000" />
</RelativeLayout>
No I use the tag in XML to add another layout from another XML file.
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:background="#f0f0f0" >
<include
android:id="@+id/header_VIEW"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
layout="@layout/header" />
<LinearLayout
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_margin="5dp"
android:background="#ffffff"
android:orientation="vertical"
android:padding="5dp" >
</LinearLayout>
In android resources it's rather simple
<string name="smth">%1$02d</string>
To open shared preference

This works perfect!
$('input').keydown( function(e) {
var key = e.charCode ? e.charCode : e.keyCode ? e.keyCode : 0;
if(key == 13) {
e.preventDefault();
var inputs = $(this).closest('form').find(':input:visible');
inputs.eq( inputs.index(this)+ 1 ).focus();
}
});
$('.my-link').click(function(e) { e.preventDefault(); });
You could use:
$('.my-link').click(function(e) { return false; });
But I don't like to use this myself as it is more cryptic, even though it is used extensively throughout much jQuery code.
If you want culture specific, you might want to try this:
(19950000.0).ToString("N",new CultureInfo("en-US"))
= 19,950,000.00
(19950000.0).ToString("N",new CultureInfo("is-IS"))
= 19.950.000,00
Note: Some cultures use ,
to mean decimal rather than .
so be careful.
Once I had written a program that handle the short (-h), long (--help) and non-option arguments in batch file. This techniques includes:
non-option arguments followed by a option arguments.
shift operator for those options that have no argument like '--help'.
two time shift operator for those options that require an argument.
loop through a label for processing all command line arguments.
Exit script and stop processing for those options that no need to require further action like '--help'.
Wrote help functions for user guidiness

$ cd /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions

Easy done:
(?<=\[)(.*?)(?=\])
Technically that's using lookaheads and lookbehinds. See Lookahead and Lookbehind Zero-Width Assertions. The pattern consists of:
Alternatively you can just capture what's between the square brackets:
\[(.*?)\]
and return the first captured group instead of the entire match.
Here's a really simple example that might get you started:
$(document).ready(function() {
var $dragging = null;
$(document.body).on("mousemove", function(e) {
if ($dragging) {
$dragging.offset({
top: e.pageY,
left: e.pageX
});
}
});
$(document.body).on("mousedown", "div", function (e) {
$dragging = $(e.target);
});
$(document.body).on("mouseup", function (e) {
$dragging = null;
});
});
Example: http://jsfiddle.net/Jge9z/
I understand that I shall use the mouse position relative to the container div (in which the div shall be dragged) and that I shall set the divs offset relative to those values.
Not so sure about that. It seems to me that in drag and drop you'd always want to use the offset of the elements relative to the document.
If you mean you want to constrain the dragging to a particular area, that's a more complicated issue (but still doable).
just ran into the same problem and solved it with the following line of code:
selectize.addOption({text: "My Default Value", value: "My Default Value"});
selectize.setValue("My Default Value");
MAMP & MAMP PRO 4.0.6 was starting MySql server correctly but stopped doing so after my machine updated the OS to macOS Sierra (10.12.2). I tried a few options mentioned here including setting folder permissions and re-install etc. Nothing seemed fixed the issue for me so I shifted to XAMPP and it is serving OK so far.
Update: I've got MAMP working with this simple solution here.
FYI, I put together a JSFiddle of this using the $cookieStore
, two controllers, a $rootScope
, and AngularjS 1.0.6. It's on JSFifddle as http://jsfiddle.net/krimple/9dSb2/ as a base if you're messing around with this...
The gist of it is:
Javascript
var myApp = angular.module('myApp', ['ngCookies']);
myApp.controller('CookieCtrl', function ($scope, $rootScope, $cookieStore) {
$scope.bump = function () {
var lastVal = $cookieStore.get('lastValue');
if (!lastVal) {
$rootScope.lastVal = 1;
} else {
$rootScope.lastVal = lastVal + 1;
}
$cookieStore.put('lastValue', $rootScope.lastVal);
}
});
myApp.controller('ShowerCtrl', function () {
});
HTML
<div ng-app="myApp">
<div id="lastVal" ng-controller="ShowerCtrl">{{ lastVal }}</div>
<div id="button-holder" ng-controller="CookieCtrl">
<button ng-click="bump()">Bump!</button>
</div>
</div>
Update October 2019
The following should work "stand-alone" on all modern browsers without any dependencies or transpilation.
<!-- display a pop-up with the selected values from the <select> element -->
<script>
const showSelectedOptions = options => alert(
[...options].filter(o => o.selected).map(o => o.value)
)
</script>
<select multiple onchange="showSelectedOptions(this.options)">
<option value='1'>one</option>
<option value='2'>two</option>
<option value='3'>three</option>
<option value='4'>four</option>
</select>
You specify the named capture group string by passing it to the indexer of the Groups
property of a resulting Match
object.
Here is a small example:
using System;
using System.Text.RegularExpressions;
class Program
{
static void Main()
{
String sample = "hello-world-";
Regex regex = new Regex("-(?<test>[^-]*)-");
Match match = regex.Match(sample);
if (match.Success)
{
Console.WriteLine(match.Groups["test"].Value);
}
}
}
I also ran into this all of a sudden, after it had previously worked, and it was because I was inside a virtualenv, and wheel
wasn’t installed in the virtualenv.
If i understand correctly, can't you simply use:
foreach($arr as $key=>$value)
{
echo $key;
}
See PHP manual
Here is one command that displays the number of threads of a given process :
ps -L -o pid= -p <pid> | wc -l
Unlike the other ps
based answers, there is here no need to substract 1
from its output as there is no ps
header line thanks to the -o pid=
option.

Now, it's easy to do it by enabling/disabling cache option in your ajax request, just like this
$(function () {
var url = 'your url goes here';
$('#ajaxButton').click(function (e) {
$.ajax({
url: url,
data: {
test: 'value'
},
cache: true, //cache enabled, false to reverse
complete: doSomething
});
});
});
//ToDo after ajax call finishes
function doSomething(data) {
console.log(data);
}
});
I have to agree with the comments above, that you can't call a file, but you could load a JS file like this, I'm unsure if it answers your question but it may help... oh and I've used a link instead of a button in my example...
<a href='linkhref.html' id='mylink'>click me</a>
<script type="text/javascript">
var myLink = document.getElementById('mylink');
myLink.onclick = function(){
var script = document.createElement("script");
script.type = "text/javascript";
script.src = "Public/Scripts/filename.js.";
document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(script);
return false;
}
</script>

The severity level 16 in your example code is typically used for user-defined (user-detected) errors. The SQL Server DBMS itself emits severity levels (and error messages) for problems it detects, both more severe (higher numbers) and less so (lower numbers).
The state should be an integer between 0 and 255 (negative values will give an error), but the choice is basically the programmer's. It is useful to put different state values if the same error message for user-defined error will be raised in different locations, e.g. if the debugging/troubleshooting of problems will be assisted by having an extra indication of where the error occurred.
You should never use the unidirectional @OneToMany
annotation because:
Now, in your first example, both sides are owning the association, and this is bad.
While the @JoinColumn
would let the @OneToMany
side in charge of the association, it's definitely not the best choice. Therefore, always use the mappedBy
attribute on the @OneToMany
side.
public class User{
@OneToMany(fetch=FetchType.LAZY, cascade = CascadeType.ALL, mappedBy="user")
public List<APost> aPosts;
@OneToMany(fetch=FetchType.LAZY, cascade = CascadeType.ALL, mappedBy="user")
public List<BPost> bPosts;
}
public class BPost extends Post {
@ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)
public User user;
}
public class APost extends Post {
@ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.LAZY)
public User user;
}
As I understand it, roles were initially defined by XHTML but were deprecated. However, they are now defined by HTML 5, see here: https://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria/roles#abstract_roles_header
The purpose of the role attribute is to identify to parsing software the exact function of an element (and its children) as part of a web application. This is mostly as an accessibility thing for screen readers, but I can also see it as being useful for embedded browsers and screen scrapers. In order to be useful to the unusual HTML client, the attribute needs to be set to one of the roles from the spec I linked. If you make up your own, this 'future' functionality can't work - a comment would be better.

I'm not sure about the syntax of your specific commands (e.g., vagrant, etc), but in general...
Just register Ansible's (not-normally-shown) JSON output to a variable, then display each variable's stdout_lines
attribute:
- name: Generate SSH keys for vagrant user
user: name=vagrant generate_ssh_key=yes ssh_key_bits=2048
register: vagrant
- debug: var=vagrant.stdout_lines
- name: Show SSH public key
command: /bin/cat $home_directory/.ssh/id_rsa.pub
register: cat
- debug: var=cat.stdout_lines
- name: Wait for user to copy SSH public key
pause: prompt="Please add the SSH public key above to your GitHub account"
register: pause
- debug: var=pause.stdout_lines

Use sh, it'll make things a lot easier:
import sh
print sh.swfdump("/tmp/filename.swf", "-d")
The actual best answer for this problem depends on your environment, specifically what encoding your terminal expects.
The quickest one-line solution is to encode everything you print to ASCII, which your terminal is almost certain to accept, while discarding characters that you cannot print:
print ch #fails
print ch.encode('ascii', 'ignore')
The better solution is to change your terminal's encoding to utf-8, and encode everything as utf-8 before printing. You should get in the habit of thinking about your unicode encoding EVERY time you print or read a string.
That will work just fine. You can export an entire calendar with File
> Export…
, or individual events by dragging them to the Finder.
iCalendar (.ics
) files are human-readable, so you can always pop it open in a text editor to make sure no private events made it in there. They consist of nested sections with start with BEGIN:
and end with END:
. You'll mostly find VEVENT
sections (each of which represents an event) and VTIMEZONE
sections, each of which represents a time zone that's referenced from one or more events.
Being new to grunt and setting it up, I am running (perhaps foolishly) my grunt project/folder from a Google Drive so I can access the same code/builds from either my laptop or workstation.
There is a fair bit of synchronisation of the nodes_modules folders back to Google Drive and there seemed to be a conflict at some point, and the /nodes_modules/grunt folder was renamed to /nodes_modules/grunt (1)
Renaming it back by removing the (1) seemed to fix it for me.
I like @Omry Yadan's solution but I think it can be improved upon to use a loop in case you want to continue traversing up the directory tree until you find where wp-config.php
actually lives. Of course, if you don't find it and end up in the server's root then all is lost and we return a sane value (false
).
function wp_get_web_root() {
$base = dirname(__FILE__);
$path = false;
while(!$path && '/' != $base) {
if(@file_exists(dirname($base)).'/wp-config.php') {
$path = dirname($base);
} else {
$base = dirname($base);
}
}
return $path;
}
Try using inner join in your Query
Query query=session.createQuery("from Product as p INNER JOIN p.catalog as c
WHERE c.idCatalog= :id and p.productName like :XXX");
query.setParameter("id", 7);
query.setParameter("xxx", "%"+abc+"%");
List list = query.list();
also in the hibernate config file have
<!--hibernate.cfg.xml -->
<property name="show_sql">true</property>
To display what is being queried on the console.
Because gets
doesn't do any kind of check while getting bytes from stdin and putting them somewhere. A simple example:
char array1[] = "12345";
char array2[] = "67890";
gets(array1);
Now, first of all you are allowed to input how many characters you want, gets
won't care about it. Secondly the bytes over the size of the array in which you put them (in this case array1
) will overwrite whatever they find in memory because gets
will write them. In the previous example this means that if you input "abcdefghijklmnopqrts"
maybe, unpredictably, it will overwrite also array2
or whatever.
The function is unsafe because it assumes consistent input. NEVER USE IT!
To have in Visual Studio Code what you can do in Sublime Text ( CTRL+K CTRL+U and CTRL+K CTRL+L ) you could do this:
Between the []
brackets add:
{
"key": "ctrl+k ctrl+u",
"command": "editor.action.transformToUppercase",
"when": "editorTextFocus"
},
{
"key": "ctrl+k ctrl+l",
"command": "editor.action.transformToLowercase",
"when": "editorTextFocus"
}
Save and close "keybindings.json"
Are you asking for renaming column itself or capitalise the data inside column? If its data you've to change, then use this:
UPDATE [yourtable]
SET word=UPPER(LEFT(word,1))+LOWER(SUBSTRING(word,2,LEN(word)))
If you just wanted to change it only for displaying and do not need the actual data in table to change:
SELECT UPPER(LEFT(word,1))+LOWER(SUBSTRING(word,2,LEN(word))) FROM [yourtable]
Hope this helps.
EDIT: I realised about the '-' so here is my attempt to solve this problem in a function.
CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[CapitalizeFirstLetter]
(
--string need to format
@string VARCHAR(200)--increase the variable size depending on your needs.
)
RETURNS VARCHAR(200)
AS
BEGIN
--Declare Variables
DECLARE @Index INT,
@ResultString VARCHAR(200)--result string size should equal to the @string variable size
--Initialize the variables
SET @Index = 1
SET @ResultString = ''
--Run the Loop until END of the string
WHILE (@Index <LEN(@string)+1)
BEGIN
IF (@Index = 1)--first letter of the string
BEGIN
--make the first letter capital
SET @ResultString =
@ResultString + UPPER(SUBSTRING(@string, @Index, 1))
SET @Index = @Index+ 1--increase the index
END
-- IF the previous character is space or '-' or next character is '-'
ELSE IF ((SUBSTRING(@string, @Index-1, 1) =' 'or SUBSTRING(@string, @Index-1, 1) ='-' or SUBSTRING(@string, @Index+1, 1) ='-') and @Index+1 <> LEN(@string))
BEGIN
--make the letter capital
SET
@ResultString = @ResultString + UPPER(SUBSTRING(@string,@Index, 1))
SET
@Index = @Index +1--increase the index
END
ELSE-- all others
BEGIN
-- make the letter simple
SET
@ResultString = @ResultString + LOWER(SUBSTRING(@string,@Index, 1))
SET
@Index = @Index +1--incerase the index
END
END--END of the loop
IF (@@ERROR
<> 0)-- any error occur return the sEND string
BEGIN
SET
@ResultString = @string
END
-- IF no error found return the new string
RETURN @ResultString
END
So then the code would be:
UPDATE [yourtable]
SET word=dbo.CapitalizeFirstLetter([STRING TO GO HERE])
I didn't find the Dynamic Web Module option when I clicked on the link, then I have installed Maven(Java EE) Integration for Eclipse WTP from the Eclipse Marketplace.Then, the above steps worked.
For Windows ping -a 10.10.10.10
You can update with a join if you only affect one table like this:
UPDATE table1
SET table1.name = table2.name
FROM table1, table2
WHERE table1.id = table2.id
AND table2.foobar ='stuff'
But you are trying to affect multiple tables with an update statement that joins on multiple tables. That is not possible.
However, updating two tables in one statement is actually possible but will need to create a View using a UNION that contains both the tables you want to update. You can then update the View which will then update the underlying tables.
But this is a really hacky parlor trick, use the transaction and multiple updates, it's much more intuitive.
those are routes you're passing in
<%= Html.ActionLink("Delete", "Delete",
new { id = item.storyId },
new { onclick = "return confirm('Are you sure you wish to delete this article?');" }) %>
The overloaded method you're looking for is this one:
public static MvcHtmlString ActionLink(
this HtmlHelper htmlHelper,
string linkText,
string actionName,
Object routeValues,
Object htmlAttributes
)
If you have a foreign key definition in some table and the name of the foreign key is used elsewhere as another foreign key you will have this error.
Give the Exec Maven plugin a try
The problem with other answers here is that they use position: absolute;
This makes it difficult to layout the element itself in relation to the ::before
pseudo-element. For example, if you wish to show an image before a link like this:
Here's how I was able to achieve the layout in the picture:
a::before {_x000D_
content: "";_x000D_
float: left;_x000D_
width: 16px;_x000D_
height: 16px;_x000D_
margin-right: 5px;_x000D_
background: url(../../lhsMenu/images/internal_link.png) no-repeat 0 0;_x000D_
background-size: 80%;_x000D_
}
_x000D_
Note that this method allows you to scale the background image, as well as keep the ability to use margins and padding for layout.
I assume the question is already answered. If above solution doesn't help in solving the issue then can use below to solve the issue.
The issue occurs if sometimes your maven user settings is not reflecting correct settings.xml file.
To update the settings file go to Windows > Preferences > Maven > User Settings and update the settings.xml to it correct location.
Once this is doen re-build the project, these should solve the issue. Thanks.
Here is the function I use to prevent chrome and opera from showing the invalid input dialog even when using novalidate.
window.submittingForm = false;
$('input[novalidate]').bind('invalid', function(e) {
if(!window.submittingForm){
window.submittingForm = true;
$(e.target.form).submit();
setTimeout(function(){window.submittingForm = false;}, 100);
}
e.preventDefault();
return false;
});
I found the actual solution...There is a problem in invoking your service from the client.. check the following things.
Make sure all [datacontract], [datamember] attribute are placed properly i.e. make sure WCF is error free
The WCF client, either web.config or any window app config, make sure config entries are properly pointing to the right ones.. binding info, url of the service..etc..etc
Then above problem : tempuri issue is resolved.. it has nothing to do with namespace.. though you are sure you lived with default,
Hope it saves your number of hours!
