Think about it - there must be some handshake that tells your "Create Forum" API that this current request is from an authenticated user. Since REST APIs are typically stateless, the state must be persisted somewhere. Your client consuming the REST APIs is responsible for maintaining that state. Usually, it is in the form of some token that gets passed around since the time the user was logged in. If the token is good, your request is good.
Check how Amazon AWS does authentications. That's a perfect example of "passing the buck" around from one API to another.
*I thought of adding some practical response to my previous answer. Try Apache Shiro (or any authentication/authorization library). Bottom line, try and avoid custom coding. Once you have integrated your favorite library (I use Apache Shiro, btw) you can then do the following:

I did some research on this by using different methods to assign values to a nullable int. Here is what happened when I did various things. Should clarify what's going on.
Keep in mind: Nullable<something>
or the shorthand something?
is a struct for which the compiler seems to be doing a lot of work to let us use with null as if it were a class.
As you'll see below, SomeNullable == null
and SomeNullable.HasValue
will always return an expected true or false. Although not demonstrated below, SomeNullable == 3
is valid too (assuming SomeNullable is an int?
).
While SomeNullable.Value
gets us a runtime error if we assigned null
to SomeNullable
. This is in fact the only case where nullables could cause us a problem, thanks to a combination of overloaded operators, overloaded object.Equals(obj)
method, and compiler optimization and monkey business.
Here is a description of some code I ran, and what output it produced in labels:

All the same as before. Keep in mind that initializing with int? val = new int?(null);
, with null passed to the constructor, would have produced a COMPILE time error, since the nullable object's VALUE is NOT nullable. It is only the wrapper object itself that can equal null.
Likewise, we would get a compile time error from:

val.Value = null;
not to mention that val.Value
is a read-only property anyway, meaning we can't even use something like:
val.Value = 3;
but again, polymorphous overloaded implicit conversion operators let us do:
val = 3;
No need to worry about polysomthing whatchamacallits though, so long as it works right? :)

This has changed for Visual Studio 2012 (I know the original question says VS2010, but the title will still hit on searches).
When you create a VS2012 MVC project, the system.web.mvc is placed in the packages folder which is peer to the solution. This will be referenced in the web project by default and you can find the exact path there).
If you want to reference this in a secondary project (say a supporting .dll with filters or other attributes), then you can reference it from there.
If you want to give the permission to the group,

Solution :
1 - Install Cygwin and note the directory where it gets installed.
It was C:\cygwin64 in my case. The sh.exe which is needed to run shell scripts is in the "bin" sub-directory, i.e. C:\cygwin64\bin.
2 - Tell Jenkins where sh.exe is located.
Jenkins web console > Manage Jenkins > Configure System > Under shell, set the "Shell executable" = C:\cygwin64\bin\sh.exe > Click apply & also click save.
That's all I did to make my job pass. I was running Jenkins from a war file and I did not need to restart it to make this work.
Running console svn cleanup
has solved the same problem for me.
As far that I know you only can get time with Date.
Date.now is the solution but is not available everywhere : https://developer.mozilla.org/en/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Date/now.

For your jumps. If you compute interpolations correctly according to the delta frame time and you don't have some rounding number error, I bet for the garbage collector (GC).
If there is a lot of created temporary object in your loop, garbage collection has to lock the thread to make some cleanup and memory re-organization.
With Chrome you can see how much time the GC is spending in the Timeline panel.
EDIT: Since my answer, Date.now()
should be considered as the best option as it is supported everywhere and on IE >= 9.

Is it simply that static is for static functions of structs and enums, and class for classes and protocols?
That's the main difference. Some other differences are that class functions are dynamically dispatched and can be overridden by subclasses.
Protocols use the class keyword, but it doesn't exclude structs from implementing the protocol, they just use static instead. Class was chosen for protocols so there wouldn't have to be a third keyword to represent static or class.

We considered unifying the syntax (e.g. using "type" as the keyword), but that doesn't actually simply things. The keywords "class" and "static" are good for familiarity and are quite descriptive (once you understand how + methods work), and open the door for potentially adding truly static methods to classes. The primary weirdness of this model is that protocols have to pick a keyword (and we chose "class"), but on balance it is the right tradeoff.

I solved this problem when it was showing on VSCode and JetBrains Terminals, but not in the native terminal using the following commands:

newid()/order by will work, but will be very expensive for large result sets because it has to generate an id for every row, and then sort them.
TABLESAMPLE() is good from a performance standpoint, but you will get clumping of results (all rows on a page will be returned).
For a better performing true random sample, the best way is to filter out rows randomly. I found the following code sample in the SQL Server Books Online article Limiting Results Sets by Using TABLESAMPLE:
If you really want a random sample of individual rows, modify your query to filter out rows randomly, instead of using TABLESAMPLE. For example, the following query uses the NEWID function to return approximately one percent of the rows of the Sales.SalesOrderDetail table:

After speaking with an LDAP expert, it's not possible this way. One query can't search more than one DC or OU.
Your options are:
- Run more then 1 query and parse the result.
- Use a filter to find the desired users/objects based off a different attribute like an AD group or by name.
SVN is one repo and lots of clients. Git is a repo with lots of client repos, each with a user. It's decentralised to a point where people can track their own edits locally without having to push things to an external server.
SVN is designed to be more central where Git is based on each user having their own Git repo and those repos push changes back up into a central one. For that reason, Git gives individuals better local version control.
Meanwhile you have the choice between TortoiseGit, GitExtensions (and if you host your "central" git-repository on github, their own client – GitHub for Windows).
If you're looking on getting out of SVN, you might want to evaluate Bazaar for a bit. It's one of the next generation of version control systems that have this distributed element. It isn't POSIX dependant like git so there are native Windows builds and it has some powerful open source brands backing it.
But you might not even need these sorts of features yet. Have a look at the features, advantages and disadvantages of the distributed VCSes. If you need more than SVN offers, consider one. If you don't, you might want to stick with SVN's (currently) superior desktop integration.

To remove the nan and fill the empty string:

So my solution to my own problem: After playing around with redis-cli
a bit longer I found out that DEBUG OBJECT <key>
reveals something like the serializedlength
of key, which was in fact something I was looking for...
For a whole database you need to aggregate all values for KEYS *
which shouldn't be too difficult with a scripting language of your choice...
The bad thing is that redis.io doesn't really have a lot of information about DEBUG OBJECT
.

We have a bunch of uniquely addressable 'entities' that we want made available via a web application. Those entities each have some identifier and can be accessed in various formats. REST defines a bunch of stuff about what GET, POST, etc mean for these purposes.
the basic idea with REST is that you can attach a bunch of 'renderers' to different entities so that they can be available in different formats easily using the same HTTP verbs and url formats.

I implemented something like this, using pickle for persistance and using sha1 for short almost-certainly-unique IDs. Basically the cache hashed the code of the function and the hist of arguments to get a sha1 then looked for a file with that sha1 in the name. If it existed, it opened it and returned the result; if not, it calls the function and saves the result (optionally only saving if it took a certain amount of time to process).

The only problem I see with that is it wouldn't work well for large inputs since it hashes str(arg), which isn't unique for giant arrays.
It would be nice if there were a unique_hash() protocol that had a class return a secure hash of its contents. I basically manually implemented that for the types I cared about.
I found that you don't necessarily need the text vertically centred, it also looks good near the bottom of the row, it's only when it's at the top (or above centre?) that it looks wrong. So I went with this to push the links to the bottom of the row:

I noticed that another version of XMLConfigurator was possibly getting picked up.
I decompiled that class and found this at line 60 (where the error was in the original stack trace) private static final Logger log = Logger.getLogger(XMLConfigurator.class);
and that class was importing from org.apache.log4j.Logger
!
So it was this class that was being loaded and used. My fix was to rename the jar file that contained this file as I can't find where I explicitly or indirectly load it. Which may pose a problem when I actually deploy.

method uses the Double

No, filter does not scan the whole stream. It's an intermediate operation, which returns a lazy stream (actually all intermediate operations return a lazy stream). To convince you, you can simply do the following test:

Late to the party, but the OP should have gone with Buildout or Virtualenv, and sidestepped the problem completely.

So the short answer is to pick rebase or merge based on what you want your history to look like.
There are a few factors you should consider when choosing which operation to use.

Reverting (as in undoing) a rebase is considerably difficult and/or impossible (if the rebase had conflicts) compared to reverting a merge. If you think there is a chance you will want to revert then use merge.
Rebase operations need to be pulled with a corresponding git pull --rebase
. If you are working by yourself you may be able to remember which you should use at the appropriate time. If you are working on a team this will be very difficult to coordinate. This is why most rebase workflows recommend using rebase for all merges (and git pull --rebase
for all pulls).
Assuming you have the following merge:
B -- C

Some people will state that the merge "destroys" the commit history because if you were to look at the log of only the master branch (A -- D) you would miss the important commit messages contained in B and C.
If this were true we wouldn't have questions like this. Basically, you will see B and C unless you explicitly ask not to see them (using --first-parent). This is very easy to try for yourself.
The two approaches merge differently, but it is not clear that one is always better than the other and it may depend on the developer workflow. For example, if a developer tends to commit regularly (e.g. maybe they commit twice a day as they transition from work to home) then there could be a lot of commits for a given branch. Many of those commits might not look anything like the final product (I tend to refactor my approach once or twice per feature). If someone else was working on a related area of code and they tried to rebase my changes it could be a fairly tedious operation.
If you like to alias rm
to rm -rf
to "save time" then maybe rebase is for you.
I always think that someday I will come across a scenario where Git rebase is the awesome tool that solves the problem. Much like I think I will come across a scenario where Git reflog is an awesome tool that solves my problem. I have worked with Git for over five years now. It hasn't happened.
Messy histories have never really been a problem for me. I don't ever just read my commit history like an exciting novel. A majority of the time I need a history I am going to use Git blame or Git bisect anyway. In that case, having the merge commit is actually useful to me, because if the merge introduced the issue, that is meaningful information to me.
I feel obligated to mention that I have personally softened on using rebase although my general advice still stands. I have recently been interacting a lot with the Angular 2 Material project. They have used rebase to keep a very clean commit history. This has allowed me to very easily see what commit fixed a given defect and whether or not that commit was included in a release. It serves as a great example of using rebase correctly.
A sample command that exhibits the symptom: sed 's/./@/' <<<$'\xfc'
fails, because byte 0xfc
is not a valid UTF-8 char.
Note that, by contrast, GNU sed
(Linux, but also installable on macOS) simply passes the invalid byte through, without reporting an error.
Using the formerly accepted answer is an option if you don't mind losing support for your true locale (if you're on a US system and you never need to deal with foreign characters, that may be fine.)
However, the same effect can be had ad-hoc for a single command only:

However, (effectively) setting LC_CTYPE
to C
treats strings as if each byte were its own character (no interpretation based on encoding rules is performed), with no regard for the - multibyte-on-demand - UTF-8 encoding that OS X employs by default, where foreign characters have multibyte encodings.
In a nutshell: setting LC_CTYPE
to C
causes the shell and utilities to only recognize basic English letters as letters (the ones in the 7-bit ASCII range), so that foreign chars. will not be treated as letters, causing, for instance, upper-/lowercase conversions to fail.
Again, this may be fine if you needn't match multibyte-encoded characters such as é
, and simply want to pass such characters through.
If this is insufficient and/or you want to understand the cause of the original error (including determining what input bytes caused the problem) and perform encoding conversions on demand, read on below.
The problem is that the input file's encoding does not match the shell's.
More specifically, the input file contains characters encoded in a way that is not valid in UTF-8 (as @Klas Lindbäck stated in a comment) - that's what the sed
error message is trying to say by invalid byte sequence
.
Most likely, your input file uses a single-byte 8-bit encoding such as ISO-8859-1
, frequently used to encode "Western European" languages.
Example:
The accented letter à
has Unicode codepoint 0xE0
(224) - the same as in ISO-8859-1
. However, due to the nature of UTF-8 encoding, this single codepoint is represented as 2 bytes - 0xC3 0xA0

The output will show you all bytes that have the high bit set (bytes that exceed the 7-bit ASCII range) in hexadecimal form. (Note, however, that that also includes correctly encoded UTF-8 multibyte sequences - a more sophisticated approach would be needed to specifically identify invalid-in-UTF-8 bytes.)
Performing encoding conversions on demand:

Both @Dorvalla’s answer and this blog post mentioned above pointed me into the right direction to fix the problem for myself; quoting from the latter:
If the table you're trying to create includes a foreign key constraint, and you've provided your own name for that constraint, remember that it must be unique within the database.
I wasn’t aware of that. I have changed my foreign key constraint names according to the following schema which appears to be used by Ruby on Rails applications, too:
<TABLE_NAME>_<FOREIGN_KEY_COLUMN_NAME>_fk
For the OP’s table this would be Link_lession_id_fk
, for example.
This should be faster than iterating and will work regardless of shape.

I think you are misinterpreting the source of the error; rExternalTotal appears to be equal to a single cell.
rReportData.offset(0,0) is equal to rReportData
rReportData.offset(261,0).end(xlUp) is likely also equal to rReportData, as you offset by 261 rows and then use the .end(xlUp) function which selects the top of a contiguous data range.
If you are interested in the sum of just a column, you can just refer to the whole column:
dExternalTotal = Application.WorksheetFunction.Sum(columns("A:A"))
or
dExternalTotal = Application.WorksheetFunction.Sum(columns((rReportData.column))
The worksheet function sum will correctly ignore blank spaces.
