In my case when I comment out mirrorlist the error got away but the repo was also not working so I manually point the right baseurl in /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo as below

AGE is defined as "42" so the line:

Static type systems seek to eliminate certain errors statically, inspecting the program without running it and attempting to prove soundness in certain respects. Some type systems are able to catch more errors than others. For example, C# can eliminate null pointer exceptions when used properly, whereas Java has no such power. Twelf has a type system which actually guarantees that proofs will terminate, "solving" the halting problem.

However, no type system is perfect. In order to eliminate a particular class of errors, they must also reject certain perfectly valid programs which violate the rules. This is why Twelf doesn't really solve the halting problem, it just avoids it by throwing out a large number of perfectly valid proofs which happen to terminate in odd ways. Likewise, Java's type system rejects Clojure's PersistentVector implementation due to its use of heterogeneous arrays. It works at runtime, but the type system cannot verify it.

For that reason, most type systems provide "escapes", ways to override the static checker. For most languages, these take the form of casting, though some (like C# and Haskell) have entire modes which are marked as "unsafe".

Subjectively, I like static typing. Implemented properly (hint: not Java), a static type system can be a huge help in weeding out errors before they crash the production system. Dynamically typed languages tend to require more unit testing, which is tedious at the best of times. Also, statically typed languages can have certain features which are either impossible or unsafe in dynamic type systems (implicit conversions spring to mind). It's all a question of requirements and subjective taste. I would no more build the next Eclipse in Ruby than I would attempt to write a backup script in Assembly or patch a kernel using Java.

Oh, and people who say that "x typing is 10 times more productive than y typing" are simply blowing smoke. Dynamic typing may "feel" faster in many cases, but it loses ground once you actually try to make your fancy application run. Likewise, static typing may seem like it's the perfect safety net, but one look at some of the more complicated generic type definitions in Java sends most developers scurrying for eye blinders. Even with type systems and productivity, there is no silver bullet.

Final note: don't worry about performance when comparing static with dynamic typing. Modern JITs like V8 and TraceMonkey are coming dangerously-close to static language performance. Also, the fact that Java actually compiles down to an inherently dynamic intermediate language should be a hint that for most cases, dynamic typing isn't the huge performance-killer that some people make it out to be.

You can use parsing with double instead of float to get more precision value.

Something new in ASP.Net 3.5 is this "PostBackUrl" property of ASP buttons. You can set it to the address of the page you want to post directly to, and when that button is clicked, instead of posting back to the same page like normal, it instead posts to the page you've indicated. Concerning the (somewhat off topic I know but since it was brought up earlier) XNA vs OpenGL choice, it might be beneficial in several cases to go with OpenGL instead of XNA (and in other XNA instead of OpenGL...).

If you are going to run the applications on Linux or Mac using Mono, it might be a good choice to go with OpenGL. Also, which isn't so widely known I think, if you have customers that are going to run your applications in a Citrix environment, then DirectX/Direct3D/XNA won't be as economical a choice as OpenGL. The reason for this is that OpenGL applications can be co-hosted on a lesser number of servers (due to performance issues a single server cannot host an infinite number of application instances) than DirectX/XNA applications which demands dedicated virtual servers to run in hardware accelerated mode. Other requirements exists like supported graphics cards etc but I will keep to the XNA vs OpenGL issue. As an IT Architect, Software developer etc this will have to be considered before choosing between OpenGL and DirectX/XNA...

A side note is that WebGL is based on OpenGL ES3 afaik...

As a further note, these are not the only considerations, but they might make the choice easier for some...

Without seeing your code, it's hard to answer other than a stab in the dark. I would guess that the string you're passing to encodeURIComponent(), which is the correct method to use, is coming from the result of accessing the innerHTML property. The solution is to get the innerText/textContent property value instead:

The problem with toISOString is that it gives datetime only as "Z".

ISO-8601 also defines datetime with timezone difference in hours and minutes, in the forms like 2016-07-16T19:20:30+5:30 (when timezone is ahead UTC) and 2016-07-16T19:20:30-01:00 (when timezone is behind UTC).

I don't think it is a good idea to use another plugin, moment.js for such a small task, especially when you can get it with a few lines of code.

The data returned by the JSON is in json format : which is simply an arrays of values. Thats why you are seeing [object Object],[object Object],[object Object].

You have to iterate through that values to get actuall value. Like the following

Microsoft recognized the future web open source paradigm and decided to open .NET to other operating systems. .NET Core is a .NET Framework for Mac and Linux. It is a “lightweight” .NET Framework, so some features/libraries are missing.

On Windows, I would still run .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2015. .NET Core is more friendly with the open source world like Node.js, npm, Yeoman, Docker, etc.

You can develop full-fledged web sites and RESTful APIs on Mac or Linux with Visual Studio Code + .NET Core which wasn't possible before. So if you love Mac or Ubuntu and you are a .NET developer then go ahead and set it up.

For Mono vs. .NET Core, Mono was developed as a .NET Framework for Linux which is now acquired by Microsoft (company called Xamarin) and used in mobile development. Eventually, Microsoft may merge/migrate Mono to .NET Core. I would not worry about Mono right now.

It seems as if Android Studio is missing some features Eclipse has (which is surprising considering the choice to make Android Studio official IDE).

Eclipse had the ability to export zip files which could be sent over email for example. If you zip the folder from your workspace, and try to send it over Gmail for example, Gmail will refuse because the folder contains executable. Obviously you can delete files but that is inefficient if you do that frequently going back and forth from work.

Here's a solution though: You can use source control. Android Studio supports that. Your code will be stored online. A git will do the trick. Look under "VCS" in the top menu in Android Studio. It has many other benefits as well. One of the downsides though, is that if you use GitHub for free, your code is open source and everyone can see it.

In PHP assignment expressions always return the assigned value. So $_config[0] =& $config returns $config - but not the variable itself, but a copy of its value. And returning a reference to a temporary value wouldn't be particularly useful (changing it wouldn't do anything).

You should not place a using namespace std; directive in the C++ header file because you may cause silent name clashes between different libraries. To remedy this, use the fully qualified name: std::string foobarstring; instead of including the std namespace with string foobarstring;.

Exception.Message contains only the message (doh) associated with the exception. Example:

As your list is an ArrayList, it can be assumed that it is unsorted. Therefore, there is no way to search for your element that is faster than O(n).

If you can, you should think about changing your list into a Set (with HashSet as implementation) with a specific Comparator for your sample class.

Another possibility would be to use a HashMap. You can add your data as Sample (please start class names with an uppercase letter) and use the string you want to search for as key. Then you could simply use

This is a very generic question and there is a lot of ways it can be answered.

If you want to use JUnit to create the tests, you need to create your testcase class, then create individual test methods that test specific functionality of your class/module under tests (single testcase classes are usually associated with a single "production" class that is being tested) and inside these methods execute various operations and compare the results with what would be correct. It is especially important to try and cover as many corner cases as possible.

In your specific example, you could for example test the following:

1. A simple addition between two positive numbers. Add them, then verify the result is what you would expect.
2. An addition between a positive and a negative number (which returns a result with the sign of the first argument).
3. An addition between a positive and a negative number (which returns a result with the sign of the second argument).
4. An addition between two negative numbers.
5. An addition that results in an overflow.

To verify the results, you can use various assertXXX methods from the org.junit.Assert class (for convenience, you can do 'import static org.junit.Assert.*'). These methods test a particular condition and fail the test if it does not validate (with a specific message, optionally).

I had this problem because the project facet associated with my project was the wrong java version.

1. The first log outputs super.name, this refers to the prototype chain of the object tom, not the object tom self. Because we have added a name property on the Animal.prototype, horseee will be outputted.
2. The second log outputs this.name, the this keyword refers to the the tom object itself.
3. The third log is logged using the move method of the Animal base class. This method is called from Horse class move method with the syntax super.move(45);. Using the super keyword in this context will look for a move method on the prototype chain which is found on the Animal prototype.

datetime.datetime.fromtimestamp() is correct, except you are probably having timestamp in miliseconds (like in JavaScript), but fromtimestamp() expects Unix timestamp, in seconds.

Do it like that:

The difference results from the default behaviour of Python 2.x, which always returns int when dividing (using / operator) int by int (this is called floor division). By replacing the divisor 1000 (being an int) with the 1e3 divisor (being representation of 1000 as float) or with float(1000) (or 1000. etc.), the division becomes true division. Python 2.x returns float when dividing int by float, float by int, float by float etc. And when there is some fractional part in the timestamp passed to fromtimestamp() method, this method's result also contains information about that fractional part (as the number of microseconds).

You can use regular expressions in Javascript to do pattern matching of strings.

The strncpy() function is the safer one: you have to pass the maximum length the destination buffer can accept. Otherwise it could happen that the source string is not correctly 0 terminated, in which case the strcpy() function could write more characters to destination, corrupting anything which is in the memory after the destination buffer. This is the buffer-overrun problem used in many exploits

Also for POSIX API functions like read() which does not put the terminating 0 in the buffer, but returns the number of bytes read, you will either manually put the 0, or copy it using strncpy().

In your example code, index is actually not an index, but a count - it tells how many characters at most to copy from source to destination. If there is no null byte among the first n bytes of source, the string placed in destination will not be null terminated

One technique is to create a copy of the collection you want to modify, change the copy as needed, then replace the original collection with the copy at the end.

I had the same problem (building python2.5 from source on Ubuntu Lucid), and import sqlite3 threw this same exception. I've installed libsqlite3-dev from the package manager, recompiled python2.5, and then the import worked.

The work is split between the View and the View's SavedState class. You should do all the work of reading and writing to and from the Parcel in the SavedState class. Then your View class can do the work of extracting the state members and doing the work necessary to get the class back to a valid state.

Notes: View#onSavedInstanceState and View#onRestoreInstanceState are called automatically for you if View#getId returns a value >= 0. This happens when you give it an id in xml or call setId manually. Otherwise you have to call View#onSaveInstanceState and write the Parcelable returned to the parcel you get in Activity#onSaveInstanceState to save the state and subsequently read it and pass it to View#onRestoreInstanceState from Activity#onRestoreInstanceState.

as.numeric(as.character(f)) is effectively as.numeric(levels(f)[f]), so you are performing the conversion to numeric on length(x) values, rather than on nlevels(x) values. The speed difference will be most apparent for long vectors with few levels. If the values are mostly unique, there won't be much difference in speed. Another trick is to use 2 popup windows instead of one. The 1st popup window will simply be a dummy view with translucent background which provides the dim effect. The 2nd popup window is your intended popup window.

Sequence while creating pop up windows: Show the dummy pop up window 1st and then the intended popup window.

Sequence while destroying: Dismiss the intended pop up window and then the dummy pop up window.

Here are some methods that may help others, though they aren't really services as much as they may be described as "methods that may, after some torture of effort or logic, lead to a claim of on-demand access to Mac OS X" (no doubt I should patent that phrase).

Fundamentally, I am inclined to believe that on-demand (per-hour) hosting does not exist, and @Erik has given information for the shortest feasible services, i.e. monthly hosting.

It seems that one may use EC2 itself, but install OS X on the instance through a lot of elbow grease.

• This article on Lifehacker.com gives instructions for setting up OSX under Virtual Box and depends on hardware virtualization. It seems that the Cluster Compute instances (and Cluster GPU, but ignore these) are the only ones supporting hardware virtualization.
• This article gives instructions for transferring a VirtualBox image to EC2.

Where this gets tricky is I'm not sure if this will work for a cluster compute instance. In fact, I think this is likely to be a royal pain. A similar approach may work for Rackspace or other cloud services.

I found only this site claiming on-demand Mac hosting, with a Mac Mini. It doesn't look particularly accurate: it offers free on-demand access to a Mini if one pays for a month of bandwidth. That's like free bandwidth if one rents a Mini for a month. That's not really how "on-demand" works.

Update 1: In the end, it seems that nobody offers a comparable service. An outfit called Media Temple claims they will offer the first virtual servers using Parallels, OS X Leopard, and some other stuff (in other words, I wonder if there is some caveat that makes them unique, but, without that caveat, someone else may have a usable offering).

After this search, I think that a counterpart to EC2 does not exist for the OS X operating system. It is extraordinarily unlikely that one would exist, offer a scalable solution, and yet be very difficult to find. One could set it up internally, but there's no reseller/vendor offering on-demand, hourly virtual servers. This may be disappointing, but not surprising - apparently iCloud is running on Amazon and Microsoft systems.

I'm used to using pre-jQuery Rails, so when I included the Bootstrap JS files I didn't think that including the version of jQuery bundled with them would cause any issues, however when I removed that one JS file everything started working perfectly.

Lesson learnt, triple check which JS files are loaded, see if there's any conflicts.

When you read in the year month day hour minutes with something like nextInt() it leaves rest of the line in the parser/buffer (even if it is blank) so when you call nextLine() you are reading the rest of this first line.

I suggest you call scan.nextLine() before you print your next prompt to discard the rest of the line.

You can not insert an array directly to MySQL as MySQL doesn't understand PHP data types. MySQL only understands SQL. So to insert an array into a MySQL database you have to convert it to a SQL statement. This can be done manually or by a library. The output should be an INSERT statement.

Since PHP 5.5 mysql_real_escape_string has been deprecated and as of PHP7 it has been removed. See: php.net's documentation on the new procedure.

After your comments this actually makes perfect sense why you don't get a histogram of each different value. There are 1.4 million rows, and ten discrete buckets. So apparently each bucket is exactly 10% (to within what you can see in the plot).

A quick rerun of your data:

From my perspective, we could break down common code debugging tasks into three distinct usage patterns:

1. Something has raised an exception: runserver_plus' Werkzeug debugger to the rescue. The ability to run custom code at all the trace levels is a killer. And if you're completely stuck, you can create a Gist to share with just a click.
2. Page is rendered, but the result is wrong: again, Werkzeug rocks. To make a breakpoint in code, just type assert False in the place you want to stop at.

The base-class constructor is already automatically called by your derived-class constructor. As per documentation:

If you are accessing scoped beans within Spring Web MVC, i.e. within a request that is processed by the Spring DispatcherServlet, or DispatcherPortlet, then no special setup is necessary: DispatcherServlet and DispatcherPortlet already expose all relevant state.

If your project is Maven-based, remember to set scope to provided for such dependencies as servlet-api, jsp-api. Otherwise, these jars will be exported to WEB-INF/lib and hence contaminate with those in Tomcat server. That causes painful problems.

Yes. IMHO, overriding GetWebRequest() is the best solution to WebClient's limited functionalty. Before I knew about this option, I wrote lots of really painful code at the HttpWebRequest layer because WebClient almost, but not quite, did what I needed. Derivation is much easier.

Another option is to use the regular WebClient class, but manually populate the Cookie header before making the request and then pull out the Set-Cookies header on the response. There are helper methods on the CookieContainer class which make creating and parsing these headers easier: CookieContainer.SetCookies() and CookieContainer.GetCookieHeader(), respectively.

I prefer the former approach since it's easier for the caller and requires less repetitive code than the second option. Also, the derivation approach works the same way for multiple extensibility scenarios (e.g. cookies, proxies, etc.).

How I solved it was to insert calls to functions within my stateChange function. The page I had setup was 3 buttons that would load 3 different pages into the contentArea. Because I had to know which button was being pressed to load page 1, 2 or 3, I could easily use if/else statements to determine which page is being loaded and then which function to run. What I was trying to do was register different button listeners that would only work when the specific page was loaded because of element IDs..

so...

if (page1 is being loaded, pageload = 1) run function registerListeners1

then the same for page 2 or 3.

I selected columns that I want to delete 0 values then clicked DATA > FILTER. In column's header there is a filter icon appears. I clicked on that icon and selected only 0 values and clicked OK. Only 0 values becomes selected. Finally clear content OR use DELETE button. Problem Solved!

I think the fix here was the keystore type, pkcs12(pfx) always have private key and JKS type can exist without private key. Unless you specify in your code or select a certificate thru browser, the server have no way of knowing it is representing a client on the other end.

Text files are files containing sequences of lines of text. Depending on the environment where the application runs, some special character conversion may occur in input/output operations in text mode to adapt them to a system-specific text file format. Although on some environments no conversions occur and both text files and binary files are treated the same way, using the appropriate mode improves portability.

The conversion could be to normalize \r\n to \n (or vice-versa), or maybe ignoring characters beyond 0x7F (a-la 'text mode' in FTP). Personally I'd open everything in binary-mode and use a good text-encoding library for dealing with text.

I ran into this problem on Ubuntu 20 with Python Selenium after first downloading the chromedriver separately and then using sudo apt install chromium-browser Even though they were the same version this kept happening.

My fix was to use the provided chrome driver that came with the repo package located at

/snap/bin/chromium.chromedriver

the simple and easy way to do that is use on event:

but we can say this is not the best way to do this. I suggest a another way to do this is use clone() method instead of using dynamic html. Write some html in you file for example:

As far as i know that is impossible and that makes sense since what you are trying to do is against the idea of tabular data presentation. You could however put the data in multiple tables and remove any padding and margins in between them to achieve the same result, at least visibly. Something along the lines of:

I don't know your requirements but i'm sure there's a more elegant solution.

git format-patch also has the -B flag.

The description in the man page leaves much to be desired, but in simple language it's the threshold format-patch will abide to before doing a total re-write of the file (by a single deletion of everything old, followed by a single insertion of everything new).

This proved very useful for me when manual editing was too cumbersome, and the source was more authoritative than my destination.

An example:

git format-patch -B10% --stdout my_tag_name > big_patch.patch
git am -3 -i < big_patch.patch

The very simplest way would be to run Eclipse CDT on the Linux Box and use either X11-Forwarding or remote desktop software such as VNC.

This, of course, is only possible when you Eclipse is present on the Linux box and your network connection to the box is sufficiently fast.

The advantage is that, due to everything being local, you won't have synchronization issues, and you don't get any awkward cross-platform issues.

If you have no eclipse on the box, you could thinking of sharing your linux working directory via SMB (or SSHFS) and access it from your windows machine, but that would require quite some setup.

Both would be better than having two copies, especially when it's cross-platform.
