In Windows, if you have mapped network drives and you don't know the UNC path for them, you can start a command prompt (Start ? Run ? cmd.exe) and use the net use command to list your mapped drives and their UNC paths:

The way I approached it is to collapse specific elements within the cells of the row, so that, in my case, the row would slideUp() as the paragraphs were hidden, and still leave an element, h2 to click on in order to re-show the content. If the row collapsed entirely there'd be no easily obvious way to bring it back.

I noticed that you can also get errors if you don't specify the angles correctly, even when using glm::rotate(Model, angle_in_degrees, glm::vec3(x, y, z)) you still might run into problems. The fix I found for this was specifying the type as glm::rotate(Model, (glm::mediump_float)90, glm::vec3(x, y, z)) instead of just saying glm::rotate(Model, 90, glm::vec3(x, y, z))

For me the shortest and my favorite oneliner for accessing to the parent directory is:

os.getcwd() returns the name of the current working directory, os.path.dirname(directory_name) returns the directory name for the passed one.

Actually, in my opinion Python project architecture should be done the way where no one module from child directory will use any module from the parent directory. If something like this happens it is worth to rethink about the project tree.

Another way is to add parent directory to PYTHONPATH system environment variable.

SQL-92 standard defines INFORMATION_SCHEMA which conforming rdbms's like MS SQL Server support. The following works for MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 and MySql 5 and above

While it may or may not work in your situation, I have found it useful to generate a public / private key using Putty's Pageant.

If you are also working with bitbucket (.org) it should give you the ability to provide a public key to your user account and then commands that reach out to the repository will be secured automatically.

If Pageant doesn't start up for you upon a reboot, you can add a shortcut to Pageant to your Windows "Start menu" and the shortcut may need to have a 'properties' populated with the location of your private (.ppk) file.

With this in place Mercurial and your local repositories will need to be set up to push/pull using the SSH format.

Here are some detailed instructions on Atlassian's site for Windows OR Mac/Linux.

You don't have to take my word for it and there are no doubt other ways to do it. Perhaps these steps described here are more for you:

1. Start PuttyGen from Start -> PuTTY-> PuttyGen
2. Generate a new key and save it as a .ppk file without a passphrase
3. Use Putty to login to the server you want to connect to
4. Append the Public Key text from PuttyGen to the text of ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
5. Create a shortcut to your .ppk file from Start -> Putty to Start -> Startup
6. Select the .ppk shortcut from the Startup menu (this will happen automatically at every startup)
7. See the Pageant icon in the system tray? Right-click it and select “New session”
8. Enter username@hostname in the “Host name” field
9. You will now log in automatically.

I managed to find a solution using css/jQuery that I'm comfortable with. The original issue: I had to force the visibility to be shown while animating as I have elements hanging outside the area. Doing so, made large blocks of text now hang outside the content area during animation as well.

The solution was to start the main text elements with an opacity of 0 and use addClass to inject and transition to an opacity of 1. Then removeClass when clicked on again.

I'm sure there's an all jQquery way to do this. I'm just not the guy to do it. :)

Jonathon gave you an approach using dict comprehensions in his answer. Here is an approach that deals with your do something part.

If you want to do something with the values of the dictionary, you don't need a dictionary comprehension at all:

I'm using iteritems() since you tagged your question with python-2.7

Now the result will be in a list with some_function applied to each key/value pair of the dictionary, that has foo in its key.

If you just want to deal with the values and ignore the keys, just change the list comprehension:

You can execute any class which has a public final static main method from a JAR file, even if the jar file has a Main-Class defined.

I faced the same issue and got it working.

I think it is because when you import a project, build target is not set in the project properties which then default to the value used in manifest file. Most likely, you already have installed a later android API with your SDK.

The solution is to enable build target toward your installed API level (but keep the minimum api support as specified in the manifest file). TO do this, in project properties, go to android, and from "Project Build Target", pick a target name.

Instead of using a bat file, you can simply create a Scheduled Task. Most of the time you define just one action. In this case, create two actions with the NET command. The first one to stop the service, the second one to start the service. Give them a STOP and START argument, followed by the service name.

In this example we restart the Printer Spooler service.

del won't trigger any dialogs or message boxes. You have a few problems, though:

1. start will just open Explorer which would be useless. You need cd to change the working directory of your batch file (the /D is there so it also works when run from a different drive):

I encountered this exact issue when I attempted gem install bundler, and I was confused by all the Python responses (since I was using Ruby). Here was my exact error:

ERROR:  Could not find a valid gem 'bundler' (>= 0), here is why:
          Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org/ - SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read server hello A: tlsv1 alert protocol version (https://rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz)

My solution: I updated Ruby to the most recent version (2.6.5). Problem solved.

I don't know if you are still having this problem, but I had the same problem and had a different fix than what was listed in the other answer. I did install XAMPP under C:\xampp\, and my user is an admin, but there was also something else.

I had to manually go give my user full access to the C:\Users\XAMPP\ directory. By default (at least on my machine) Windows did not give my admin user rights to this new user's directory, but this is where XAMPP stores all of it's config files. Once I gave myself full access to this, everything worked perfectly.

In retrospect, I think that I must have accidentally typed in "C:\Users\XAMPP\" as the install folder during the installation process. So I think the most important thing is to make sure that the user you are actually signed into Windows as when you start XAMPP has full access to the folder that it was actually installed to.

You can also use a callable in the default field, such as:

Expires and Cache-Control are "strong caching headers"

Last-Modified and ETag are "weak caching headers"

First the browser check Expires/Cache-Control to determine whether or not to make a request to the server

If have to make a request, it will send Last-Modified/ETag in the HTTP request. If the Etag value of the document matches that, the server will send a 304 code instead of 200, and no content. The browser will load the contents from its cache.

Does the -verbose flag to your java command yield any useful info? If not, maybe java -X reveals something specific to your version that might help?

I know this isn't in the Django tutorial, and shame on them, but it's better to set up relative paths for your path variables. You can set it up like so:

Second, there's something suspect to your TEMPLATE_DIRS path. It should point to the root of your template directory. Also, it should also end in a trailing /.

I'm just going to guess here that the .../admin/ directory is not your template root. If you still want to write absolute paths you should take out the reference to the admin template directory.

I came across the same problem.

If you install laravel debug bar you can see the queries and often see the problem

$ad->getcodes()->groupby('pid')->distinct()->count()

change to

$ad->getcodes()->distinct()->select('pid')->count()

You need to set the values to return as distinct. If you don't set the select fields it will return all the columns in the database and all will be unique. So set the query to distinct and only select the columns that make up your 'distinct' value you might want to add more. ->select('pid','date') to get all the unique values for a user in a day

Go to the traffic section inside graphs. Here you can find how many unique visitors you have. Other than this there is no other way to know who exactly viewed your account.

You are calling DoDownloadAsync() but you don't wait it. So your program going to the next line. But there is another problem, Async methods should return Task or Task<T>, if you return nothing and you want your method will be run asyncronously you should define your method like this:

render will be called every time you setState to re-render the component if there are changes. If you move your call to drawGrid there rather than calling it in your update* methods, you shouldn't have a problem.

If that doesn't work for you, there is also an overload of setState that takes a callback as a second parameter. You should be able to take advantage of that as a last resort.

This solutions works for 8bit 256 bpp (Format8bppIndexed). If your image has another format you should change PixelFormat .

And there is a problem with colors right now. As soon as i solved this one i will edit my answer for other users.

I hit this page trying to pad hexadecimal values when I realized that DEC2HEX() provides that very feature for free.

You just need to add a second parameter. For example, tying to turn 12 into 0C
DEC2HEX(12,2) => 0C
DEC2HEX(12,4) => 000C
... and so on

In my case, I'd like to fetch data from api server and display them onto UIPickerView then I want the picker to select the first item by default.

The UIPickerView will look like it selected the first item after it was created, but when you try to get the selected index by using selectedRowInComponent, you will get NSNull. That's because it detected nothing changed by the user (select 0 from 0 ).

Following is my solution (in viewWillAppear, after I fetched the data)

There is no config file unless you create one yourself. However, the port is a parameter of the listen() function. For example, to listen on port 8124:

As you mentioned on @Developer 's answer, I would probably HTML-encode on user input. If you are worried about XSS, you probably never need the user's input in it's original form, so you might as well escape it (and replace spaces and newlines while you are at it).

Note that escaping on input means you should either use @Html.Raw or create an MvcHtmlString to render that particular input.

You can also try

but I think it won't escape spaces either. So in that case, I suggest just do a .NET

I saw this question and answers which really help me but then I was needed to do it for a lot of files, So in case you have multiple images (PNG images) in one folder and you want to do it for all:

• Right click the offending assembly that you added in the solution explorer under your project References. (In my case WIA)
• Click properties.
• And there should be the option there for Embed Interop Assembly.

1. Create a separate repository that holds folder node_modules. If you have native modules that should be build for specific platform then create a separate repository for each platform.

2. Attach these repositories to your project repository with git submodule:

You can definetely build your code from Vim, that's what the :make command does.

However, you need to go through the basics first : type vimtutor in your terminal and follow the instructions to the end.

After you have completed it a few times, open an existing (non-important) text file and try out all the things you learned from vimtutor: entering/leaving insert mode, undoing changes, quitting/saving, yanking/putting, moving and so on.

For a while you won't be productive at all with Vim and will probably be tempted to go back to your previous IDE/editor. Do that, but keep up with Vim a little bit every day. You'll probably be stopped by very weird and unexpected things but it will happen less and less.

In a few months you'll find yourself hitting o, v and i all the time in every textfield everywhere.

There's now a command menu built into DevTools that makes it easier to disable JavaScript. This has been around as of April 2016 or so.

1. Open DevTools.
2. Press Command+Shift+P (Mac) or Control+Shift+P (Windows, Linux) to open the Command Menu. Make sure that your cursor's focus is on the DevTools window, not your browser viewport.
3. Type Disable JavaScript (or some version of that... it's a fuzzy search) and then press Enter.

Use the Enable JavaScript command when you want to turn it back on.

If you do not care about tick shifting (depending on how long did it took previously on each execution) and you do not want to use channels, it's possible to use native range function.

The :has() pseudo-selector is propsed in the CSS Selectors 4 spec, and will address this use case once implemented.

To use it, we will write something like:

For completeness, I wanted to point out that in the Selectors 4 specification (currently in proposal), this will become possible. Specifically, we will gain Subject Selectors, which will be used in the following format:

!div > span { /* style here */

The ! before the div selector indicates that it is the element to be styled, rather than the span. Unfortunately, no modern browsers (as of the time of this posting) have implemented this as part of their CSS support. There is, however, support via a JavaScript library called Sel, if you want to go down the path of exploration further.

With ES6, this is possible in exactly the manner you have described; a detailed description can be found in the documentation.

Default parameters in JavaScript can be implemented in mainly two ways:

java.util.logging keeps you from having to tote one more jar file around with your application, and it works well with a good Formatter.

In general, at the top of every class, you should have:

I always pass ex.toString() as the message here, because then when I "grep -n" for "Exception" in log files, I can see the message too. The information schema views and pg_typeof() return incomplete type information. Of these answers, psql gives the most precise type information. (The OP might not need such precise information, but should know the limitations.)

The -n will print the line number and the > will redirect grep-results to the output-file.
If you want to "clean" the results you can filter them using pipe | for example:
grep -n "test" * | grep -v "mytest" > output-file will match all the lines that have the string "test" except the lines that match the string "mytest" (that's the switch -v) - and will redirect the result to an output file.

After trying every answer I could find here and online, I was still getting errors for some missing headers. When trying to compile pyRFR, I was getting errors about stdexcept not being found, which apparently was not installed in /usr/include with the other headers. However, I found where it was hiding in Mojave and added this to the end of my ~/.bash_profile file:

Having done that, I can now compile pyRFR and other C/C++ programs. According to echo | gcc -E -Wp,-v -, gcc was looking in the old location for these headers (without the /c++/v1), but not the new location, so adding that to CFLAGS fixed it.

Sounds like you need to figure out where the invalid 60-char IDs are coming from and decide 1) if you want to accept them, and 2) what the max length of those IDs might be based on whatever API is used to generate them.

BUT imagine a large table with changing columns. You have to compare every column and if the database changes you have to adjust the trigger. AND it doesn't "feel" good to compare every row hardcoded :)

In my case the form (which I cannot modify) was always sending POST.
While in my Web Service I tried to implement GET method (due to lack of documentation I expected that both are allowed).

Try to separate the classes that use QString from the classes that use std::string. Or if you can, switch to QString altogether.

Open a Windows command shell and type: echo %PROGRAMDATA%. On Windows Vista this results in: C:\ProgramData.

According to http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/option-files.html, the first location MySQL will look under is in %PROGRAMDATA%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\my.ini. In your Windows shell if you do ls "%PROGRAMDATA%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\my.ini", you will see that the file is there.

Unlike most suggestions you will find in Stackoverflow and around the web, putting the file in C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\my.ini WILL NOT WORK. Neither will C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1. The reason being quoted on the MySQL link posted above:

On Windows, MySQL programs read startup options from the following files, in the specified order (top items are used first).

The 5.6 MSI installer does create a my.ini in the highest priority location, meaning no other file will ever be found/used, except for the one created by the installer.

The solution accepted above will not work for 5.6 MSI-based installs.

Arrow function has a different scope than function, this.value will give undefined for an arrow function. To fix use

2. Create a directory C:\Data\db.

Another approach depending on how you are changing the div. If you are using JQuery to change a div's contents with its html() method, you can extend that method and call a registration function each time you put html into a div.

We just intercept the calls to html(), call a registration function with this, which in the context refers to the target element getting new content, then we pass on the call to the original jquery.html() function. Have a look at PHP's available XML extensions.

The main difference between XML Parser and SimpleXML is that the latter is not a pull parser. SimpleXML is built on top of the DOM extensions and will load the entire XML file into memory. XML Parser like XMLReader will only load the current node into memory. You define handlers for specific nodes which will get triggered when the Parser encounters it. That is faster and saves on memory. You pay for that with not being able to use XPath.

Personally, I find SimpleXml quite limiting (hence simple) in what it offers over DOM. You can switch between DOM and SimpleXml easily though, but I usually dont bother and go the DOM route directly. DOM is an implementation of the W3C DOM API, so you might be familiar with it from other languages, for instance JavaScript.

In terms of what you are doing with jQuery, my understanding is that you can chain functions like you have and the inner ones have access to variables from the outer ones. So is your ShowDialog(x) function contains these other functions, you can re-use the x variable within them and it will be taken as a reference to the parameter from the outer function.

I agree with mausch, you should really look at using POST for these actions, which will add a <form> tag around each element, but make the chances of an automated script or tool triggering the Cancel event much less likely. The Change action can remain as is because it (presumably just opens an edit form).

HTML5: async, defer

In HTML5, you can tell browser when to run your JavaScript code. There are 3 possibilities:

1. Without async or defer, browser will run your script immediately, before rendering the elements that's below your script tag.

2. With async (asynchronous), browser will continue to load the HTML page and render it while the browser load and execute the script at the same time.

3. With defer, browser will run your script when the page finished parsing. (not necessary finishing downloading all image files. This is good.)

If you have to deal with NTLM proxy authentication a good alternative is to use a configure a local proxy using CNTLM.

The credentials and domain are configured in /etc/cntlm.conf.

Afterwards you can just use you own proxy that handles all the NTLM stuff.

I have on several projects.

The biggest difference in my opinion

• jQuery UI is fallback safe, it works correctly and looks good in old browsers, where Bootstrap is based on CSS3 which basically means GREAT in new browsers, not so great in old

• Update frequency: Bootstrap is getting some great big updates with awesome new features, but sadly they might break previous code, so you can't just install bootstrap and update when there is a new major release, it basically requires a lot of new coding

• jQuery UI is based on good html structure with transformations from JavaScript, while Bootstrap is based on visually and customizable inline structure. (calling a widget in JQUERY UI, defining it in Bootstrap)

So what to choose?

That always depends on the type of project you are working on. Is cool and fast looking widgets better, or are your users often using old browsers?

I always end up using both, so I can use the best of both worlds.

This code snippet:

will not work because you're returning an alias (a reference) to an object with a lifetime limited to the scope of the function call. That means once func1() returns, int i dies, making the reference returned from the function worthless because it now refers to an object that doesn't exist.

The second version does work because the variable is allocated on the free store, which is not bound to the lifetime of the function call. However, you are responsible for deleteing the allocated int.

In either case, you can just return the value itself (although I realize the example you provided was probably contrived):

    return 1;
}

int main()
{
    int v = func3();
    // do whatever you want with the returned value
}

Note that it's perfectly fine to return big objects the same way func3() returns primitive values because just about every compiler nowadays implements some form of return value optimization:

    big_object(/* constructor arguments */);
    ~big_object();
    big_object(const big_object& rhs);
    big_object& operator=(const big_object& rhs);
    /* public methods */
private:
    /* data members */
};

big_object func4()
{
    return big_object(/* constructor arguments */);
}

int main()
{
     // no copy is actually made, if your compiler supports RVO
    big_object o = func4();    
}

Interestingly, binding a temporary to a const reference is perfectly legal C++.

int main()
{
    // This works! The returned temporary will last as long as the reference exists
    const big_object& o = func4();    
    // This does *not* work! It's not legal C++ because reference is not const.
    // big_object& o = func4();  
}

This works for me in Visual Studio 2015.

I copy all DLL files from a folder located in a library folder on the same level as my solution folder into the targetdirectory of the project being built.

Using a relative path from my project directory and going up the folder structure two steps with..\..\lib
