If you are still inside the vi editor, you might be in a different mode from the one you want. Hit ESC a couple of times (until it rings or flashes) and then "i" to enter INSERT mode or "a" to enter APPEND mode (they are the same, just start before or after current character).

If you are back at the command prompt, make sure you can locate the file, then navigate to that directory and perform the mentioned "vi helloWorld.txt". Once you are in the editor, you'll need to check the vi reference to know how to perform the editions you want (you may want to google "vi reference" or "vi cheat sheet").

Once the edition is done, hit ESC again, then type :wq to save your work or :q! to quit without saving.

Another possible solution: create an object containing the group names and indexes.

This solution works for me:

• Go to Window - Preferences - PyDev - Interpreters - Python Interpreter
• Go to the Forced builtins tab
• Click on New...
• Type the name of the module (multiprocessing in my case) and click OK

Not only will the error messages disappear, the module members will also be recognized.

It's always better to use the iterator instead of indexing. This is because iterator is most likely optimzied for the List implementation while indexed (calling get) might not be. For example LinkedList is a List but indexing through its elements will be slower than iterating using the iterator.

Have just started switching over a project to c++11 and came across a perfectly good situation for constexpr which cleans up alternative methods of performing the same operation. The key point here is that you can only place the function into the array size declaration when it is declared constexpr. There are a number of situations where I can see this being very useful moving forward with the area of code that I am involved in.

pip won't handle system level dependencies. You'll have to apt-get install libfreetype6-dev before continuing. (It even says so right in your output. Try skimming over it for such errors next time, usually build outputs are very detailed)

My code was out of void setup() or void loop() in Arduino.

Don't forget to inject $location into controller.

You could open a command prompt, CD to the Debug or Release folder, and type the name of your exe. When I suggest this to people they think it is a lot of work, but here are the bare minimum clicks and keystrokes for this:

• in Visual Studio, right click your project in Solution Explorer or the tab with the file name if you have a file in the solution open, and choose Open Containing Folder or Open in Windows Explorer
• in the resulting Windows Explorer window, double-click your way to the folder with the exe
• Shift-right-click in the background of the explorer window and choose Open Commmand Window here
• type the first letter of your executable and press tab until the full name appears
• press enter

I think that's 14 keystrokes and clicks (counting shift-right-click as two for example) which really isn't much. Once you have the command prompt, of course, running it again is just up-arrow, enter.

Alternative to Array.from is to use Array.prototype.forEach.call

The relative pathing is based on the document level of the client side i.e. the URL level of the document as seen in the browser.

If the URL of your website is: http://www.example.com/mywebsite/ then starting at the root level starts above the "mywebsite" folder path.

If you have to use the same page as the action, you cannot use onSubmit="window.close();" as it will close the window before the response is received. You have to dinamycally output a JS snippet that closes the window after the SQL data is processed. It would however be far more elegant to use another page as the form action.

The solution I opted for was to format the date with the mysql query :

SQLAlchemy upsert for Postgres >=9.5

Since the large post above covers many different SQL approaches for Postgres versions (not only non-9.5 as in the question), I would like to add how to do it in SQLAlchemy if you are using Postgres 9.5. Instead of implementing your own upsert, you can also use SQLAlchemy's functions (which were added in SQLAlchemy 1.1). Personally, I would recommend using these, if possible. Not only because of convenience, but also because it lets PostgreSQL handle any race conditions that might occur.

Annoyingly, the withTimeAtStartOfDay answer is wrong, but only occasionally. You want:

(I had some on Xperia Z1, Galaxy S3, Nexus 4 and some Wiko phones too) this can be useful :

I would like to clarify that aspect. First of all, authentication credentials (ie user/password) in both cases has to be created by executing db.createUser query on the default admin database. Once credentials are obtained, there are two ways to enable authentication:

1. Without a custom config file: This is when the former auth flag is applicable. Start mongod like: usr/bin/mongod --auth
2. With a custom config file: This is when the latter configs has to be present in the custom config file.Start mongod like: usr/bin/mongod --config <config file path>

To connect to the mongo shell with authentication: mongo -u <user> -p <password> --authenticationDatabase admin

--authenticationDatabase here is the database name where the user was created. All other mongo commands like mongorestore, mongodump accept the additional options ie -u <user> -p <password> --authenticationDatabase admin

if none of the above worked for you try to make ajax requests on "POST" not "GET" , that worked for me nicely ... none of the above did. I also have the characterEncodingFilter.

Assuming the image is using the default entrypoint /bin/sh -c, running /bin/bash will exit immediately in daemon mode (-d). If you want this container to run an interactive shell, use -it instead of -d. If you want to execute arbitrary commands in a container usually executing another process, you might want to try nsenter or nsinit. Moq cannot mock a static member of a class.

When designing code for testability it's important to avoid static members (and singletons). A design pattern that can help you refactoring your code for testability is Dependency Injection.

This means changing this:

This allows you to use a mock from your unit tests. In production you use a Dependency Injection tool like Ninject or Unity wich can wire everything together.

Another solution could be to use the Microsoft Fakes Framework. This is not a replacement for writing good designed testable code but it can help you out. The Fakes framework allows you to mock static members and replace them at runtime with your own custom behavior.

Define the values that you don't want to be used from Chrome's user agent style in your own CSS content.

When you write your main function, you typically see one of two definitions:

• int main(void)
• int main(int argc, char **argv)

The second form will allow you to access the command line arguments passed to the program, and the number of arguments specified (arguments are separated by spaces).

The arguments to main are:

• int argc - the number of arguments passed into your program when it was run. It is at least 1.
• char **argv - this is a pointer-to-char *. It can alternatively be this: char *argv[], which means 'array of char *'. This is an array of C-style-string pointers.

Basic Example

For example, you could do this to print out the arguments passed to your C program:

Of course, this was all very rudimentary, and as your program gets more complex, you'll likely want more advanced command line handling. For that, you could use a library like GNU getopt.

Using absolute as position is not responsive + mobile friendly. I would suggest using a div with a background-image and then placing text in the div will place text over the image. Depending on your html, you might need to use height with vh value

I guess image is than corrupted. Example: image size is 195px X 146px.

It will work inside lower resolutions like tablets. When you have 1280 X 800 resolution it will force larger as there is also width 100 %. Maybe CSS inside media query like icons fonts is the best solution.

You can use fetch module to copy files from remote hosts to local, and lookup module to read the content of fetched files.

I just went throught same issue and I solved it the following way. 1 - found the .err file which logs all mysql issues, in win7, located under programData\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\data\ 2 - Check the last entries from the file and, in my case, I found the error was coming from a flag (audit-log) that I set to "true" from the workbench interface the day before! 3 - went into the my.ini file, and removed audit-log=ON. 4 - launched mysql service and it worked!!

You're almost all the way there.

Your first few lines, comparing the last name, are right on track. The compareTo() method on string will return a negative number for a string in alphabetical order before, and a positive number for one in alphabetical order after.

Now, you just need to do the same thing for your first name and score.

In other words, if Last Name 1 == Last Name 2, go on a check your first name next. If the first name is the same, check your score next. (Think about nesting your if/then blocks.)

Using the awesome psutil library it's pretty simple:

The hardcoded Color.BLACK could become an additional parameter to the setMenuTextColor method. Also, I only used this for menu items which were android:showAsAction="never".

Here I propose a way to do this exclusively using the Bootstrap framework built-in functionality.

1. You need to make sure the target div has an ID.
2. Bootstrap has a class "collapse", this will hide your block by default. If you want your div to be collapsible AND be shown by default you need to add "in" class to the collapse. Otherwise the toggle behavior will not work properly.
3. Then, on your hyperlink (also works for buttons), add an href attribute that points to your target div.

Right. The function you pass to getLocations() won't get called until the data is available, so returning "country" before it's been set isn't going to help you.

The way you need to do this is to have the function that you pass to geocoder.getLocations() actually do whatever it is you wanted done with the returned values.

Your -vm argument seems ok BUT it's position is wrong. According to this Eclipse Wiki entry :

The -vm option must occur before the -vmargs option, since everything after -vmargs is passed directly to the JVM.

So your -vm argument is not taken into account and it fails over to your default java installation, which is probably 1.6.0_65.

PDB is an abbreviation for Program Data Base. As the name suggests, it is a repository (persistent storage such as databases) to maintain information required to run your program in debug mode. It contains many important relevant information required while you debug your code (in Visual Studio), for e.g. at what points you have inserted break points where you expect the debugger to break in Visual Studio.

This is the reason why many times Visual Studio fails to hit the break points if you remove the *.pdb files from your debug folders. Visual Studio debugger is also able to tell you the precise line number of code file at which an exception occurred in a stack trace with the help of *.pdb files. So effectively pdb files are really a boon to developers while debugging a program.

Generally it is not recommended to exclude the generation of *.pdb files. From production release stand-point what you should be doing is create the pdb files but don't ship them to customer site in product installer. Preserve all the generated PDB files on to a symbol server from where it can be used/referenced in future if required. Specially for cases when you debug issues like process crash. When you start analysing the crash dump files and if your original *.pdb files created during the build process are not preserved then Visual Studio will not be able to make out the exact line of code which is causing crash.

If you still want to disable generation of *.pdb files altogether for any release then go to properties of the project -> Build Tab -> Click on Advanced button -> Choose none from "Debug Info" drop-down box -> press OK as shown in the snapshot below.

Note: This setting will have to be done separately for "Debug" and "Release" build configurations.

My use case was to save multiple JSON objects to a file and marty's answer helped me somewhat. But to serve my use case, the answer was not complete as it would overwrite the old data every time a new entry was saved.

To save multiple entries in a file, one must check for the old content (i.e., read before write). A typical file holding JSON data will either have a list or an object as root. So I considered that my JSON file always has a list of objects and every time I add data to it, I simply load the list first, append my new data in it, and dump it back to a writable-only instance of file (w):

Is canny your own function? Do you use Canny from OpenCV inside it? If yes check if you feed suitable argument for Canny - first Canny argument should meet following criteria:

• type: <type 'numpy.ndarray'>
• dtype: dtype('uint8')
• being single channel or simplyfing: grayscale, that is 2D array, i.e. its shape should be 2-tuple of ints (tuple containing exactly 2 integers)

As others suggested, the problem is when windows.h is included before WinSock2.h. Because windows.h includes winsock.h. You can not use both WinSock2.h and winsock.h.

Solutions:

• Include WinSock2.h before windows.h. In the case of precompiled headers, you should solve it there. In the case of simple project, it is easy. However in big projects (especially when writing portable code, without precompiled headers) it can be very hard, because when your header with WinSock2.h is included, windows.h can be already included from some other header/implementation file.

• Define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN before windows.h or project wide. But it will exclude many other stuff you may need and you should include it by your own.

Quite an old article on mssqlcity attempts to explain the types of locks:

Shared locks are used for operations that do not change or update data, such as a SELECT statement.

Update locks are used when SQL Server intends to modify a page, and later promotes the update page lock to an exclusive page lock before actually making the changes.

Exclusive locks are used for the data modification operations, such as UPDATE, INSERT, or DELETE.

What it doesn't discuss are Intent (which basically is a modifier for these lock types). Intent (Shared/Exclusive) locks are locks held at a higher level than the real lock. So, for instance, if your transaction has an X lock on a row, it will also have an IX lock at the table level (which stops other transactions from attempting to obtain an incompatible lock at a higher level on the table (e.g. a schema modification lock) until your transaction completes or rolls back).

The concept of "sharing" a lock is quite straightforward - multiple transactions can have a Shared lock for the same resource, whereas only a single transaction may have an Exclusive lock, and an Exclusive lock precludes any transaction from obtaining or holding a Shared lock.

This is in no way specific to std::unique_ptr, but applies to any class that is movable. It's guaranteed by the language rules since you are returning by value. The compiler tries to elide copies, invokes a move constructor if it can't remove copies, calls a copy constructor if it can't move, and fails to compile if it can't copy.

If you had a function that accepts std::unique_ptr as an argument you wouldn't be able to pass p to it. You would have to explicitly invoke move constructor, but in this case you shouldn't use variable p after the call to bar().

I had the same problem and none of the solutions worked. When I checked the history I figured out the issue. I had this warning

Task Scheduler did not launch task "\TASK_NAME"  because instance "{34a206d4-7fce-3895-bfcd-2456f6ed6533}"  of the same task is already running.

In the settings tab there is a drop down option for "If the task is already running, then the following rule applies:" and the default is "Do not start a new instance". Change that to "Run a new instance in parallel" or "Stop the existing instance" based on what you actually need to be done.

I know it's an old thread and multiple solutions are good here, this is just what worked for me. Hope it helps.

Here's what I've learned as I determine the best way to move forward with a couple of my current app projects.

Async Storage (formerly "built-in" to React Native, now moved on its own)

I use AsyncStorage for an in-production app. Storage stays local to the device, is unencrypted (as mentioned in another answer), goes away if you delete the app, but should be saved as part of your device's backups and persists during upgrades (both native upgrades ala TestFlight and code upgrades via CodePush).

Conclusion: Local storage; you provide your own sync/backup solution.

SQLite

Other projects I have worked on have used sqlite3 for app storage. This gives you an SQL-like experience, with compressible databases that can also be transmitted to and from the device. I have not had any experience with syncing them to a back end, but I imagine various libraries exist. There are RN libraries for connecting to SQLite.

Data is stored in your traditional database format with databases, tables, keys, indices, etc. all saved to disk in a binary format. Direct access to the data is available via command line or apps that have SQLite drivers.

Conclusion: Local storage; you supply the sync and backup.

Firebase

Firebase offers, among other things, a real time noSQL database along with a JSON document store (like MongoDB) meant for keeping from 1 to n number of clients synchronized. The docs talk about offline persistence, but only for native code (Swift/Obj-C, Java). Google's own JavaScript option ("Web") which is used by React Native does not provide a cached storage option (see 2/18 update below). The library is written with the assumption that a web browser is going to be connecting, and so there will be a semi-persistent connection. You could probably write a local caching mechanism to supplement the Firebase storage calls, or you could write a bridge between the native libraries and React Native.

Update 2/2018 I have since found React Native Firebase which provides a compatible JavaScript interface to the native iOS and Android libraries (doing what Google probably could/should have done), giving you all the goodies of the native libraries with the bonus of React Native support. With Google's introduction of a JSON document store beside the real-time database, I'm giving Firebase a good second look for some real-time apps I plan to build.

The real-time database is stored as a JSON-like tree that you can edit on the website and import/export pretty simply.

Conclusion: With react-native-firebase, RN gets same benefits as Swift and Java. [/update] Scales well for network-connected devices. Low cost for low utilization. Combines nicely with other Google cloud offerings. Data readily visible and editable from their interface.

Realm

Update 4/2020 MongoDB has acquired Realm and is planning to combine it with MongoDB Stitch (discussed below). This looks very exciting.

Update 9/2020 Having used Realm vs. Stitch: Stitch API's essentially allowed a JS app (React Native or web) to talk directly to the Mongo database instead of going through an API server you build yourself.

Realm was meant to synchronize portions of the database whenever changes were made.

The combination of the two gets a little confusing. The formerly-known-as-Stitch API's still work like your traditional Mongo query and update calls, whereas the newer Realm stuff attaches to objects in code and handles synchronization all by itself... mostly. I'm still working through the right way to do things in one project, which is using SwiftUI, so it's a bit off-topic. But promising and neat nonetheless.

Also a real time object store with automagic network synchronization. They tout themselves as "device first" and the demo video shows how the devices handle sporadic or lossy network connectivity.

They offer a free version of the object store that you host on your own servers or in a cloud solution like AWS or Azure. You can also create in-memory stores that do not persist with the device, device-only stores that do not sync up with the server, read-only server stores, and the full read-write option for synchronization across one or more devices. They have professional and enterprise options that cost more up front per month than Firebase.

Unlike Firebase, all Realm capabilities are supported in React Native and Xamarin, just as they are in Swift/ObjC/Java (native) apps.

Your data is tied to objects in your code. Because they are defined objects, you do have a schema, and version control is a must for code sanity. Direct access is available via GUI tools Realm provides. On-device data files are cross-platform compatible.

Conclusion: Device first, optional synchronization with free and paid plans. All features supported in React Native. Horizontal scaling more expensive than Firebase.

iCloud

I honestly haven't done a lot of playing with this one, but will be doing so in the near future.

If you have a native app that uses CloudKit, you can use CloudKit JS to connect to your app's containers from a web app (or, in our case, React Native). In this scenario, you would probably have a native iOS app and a React Native Android app.

Like Realm, this stores data locally and syncs it to iCloud when possible. There are public stores for your app and private stores for each customer. Customers can even chose to share some of their stores or objects with other users.

I do not know how easy it is to access the raw data; the schemas can be set up on Apple's site.

Conclusion: Great for Apple-targeted apps.

Couchbase

Big name, lots of big companies behind it. There's a Community Edition and Enterprise Edition with the standard support costs.

They've got a tutorial on their site for hooking things up to React Native. I also haven't spent much time on this one, but it looks to be a viable alternative to Realm in terms of functionality. I don't know how easy it is to get to your data outside of your app or any APIs you build.

[Edit: Found an older link that talks about Couchbase and CouchDB, and CouchDB may be yet another option to consider. The two are historically related but presently completely different products. See this comparison.]

Conclusion: Looks to have similar capabilities as Realm. Can be device-only or synced. I need to try it out.

MongoDB

Update 4/2020

Mongo acquired Realm and plans to combine MongoDB Stitch (discussed below) with Realm (discussed above).

I'm using this server side for a piece of the app that uses AsyncStorage locally. I like that everything is stored as JSON objects, making transmission to the client devices very straightforward. In my use case, it's used as a cache between an upstream provider of TV guide data and my client devices.

There is no hard structure to the data, like a schema, so every object is stored as a "document" that is easily searchable, filterable, etc. Similar JSON objects could have additional (but different) attributes or child objects, allowing for a lot of flexibility in how you structure your objects/data.

I have not tried any client to server synchronization features, nor have I used it embedded. React Native code for MongoDB does exist.

Conclusion: Local only NoSQL solution, no obvious sync option like Realm or Firebase.

Update 2/2019

MongoDB has a "product" (or service) called Stitch. Since clients (in the sense of web browsers and phones) shouldn't be talking to MongoDB directly (that's done by code on your server), they created a serverless front-end that your apps can interface with, should you choose to use their hosted solution (Atlas). Their documentation makes it appear that there is a possible sync option.

Twilio Sync

Another NoSQL option for synchronization is Twilio's Sync. From their site: "Sync lets you manage state across any number of devices in real time at scale without having to handle any backend infrastructure."

I looked at this as an alternative to Firebase for one of the aforementioned projects, especially after talking to both teams. I also like their other communications tools, and have used them for texting updates from a simple web app.

[Edit] I've spent some time with Realm since I originally wrote this. I like how I don't have to write an API to sync the data between the app and the server, similar to Firebase. Serverless functions also look to be really helpful with these two, limiting the amount of backend code I have to write.

I love the flexibility of the MongoDB data store, so that is becoming my choice for the server side of web-based and other connection-required apps.

I found RESTHeart, which creates a very simple, scalable RESTful API to MongoDB. It shouldn't be too hard to build a React (Native) component that reads and writes JSON objects to RESTHeart, which in turn passes them to/from MongoDB.

[Edit] I added info about how the data is stored. Sometimes it's important to know how much work you might be in for during development and testing if you've got to tweak and test the data.

Edits 2/2019 I experimented with several of these options when designing a high-concurrency project this past year (2018). Some of them mention hard and soft concurrency limits in their documentation (Firebase had a hard one at 10,000 connections, I believe, while Twilio's was a soft limit that could be bumped, according to discussions with both teams at AltConf).

If you are designing an app for tens to hundreds of thousands of users, be prepared to scale the data backend accordingly.

Try using getTime (mdn doc) :

It's also possible that you have nginx running but your php is set up to run with apache. To verify, run service nginx status and service apache2 status to see which is running. In the case that nginx is running and apache is not, just run sudo service nginx stop; sudo service apache2 start and your server will now serve php files as expected.

players is a list which needs to be indexed by integers. You seem to be using it like a dictionary. Maybe you could use unpacking -- Something like:

name, score = player

(if the player list is always a constant length).

There's not much more advice we can give you without knowing what query is and how it works.

It's worth pointing out that the entire code you posted doesn't make a whole lot of sense. There's an IndentationError on the second line. Also, your function is looping over some iterable, but unconditionally returning during the first iteration which isn't usually what you actually want to do.

You will need two things. The first is @media screen to activate the specific code at a certain screen size, used for responsive design. The second is the use of the visibility: hidden attribute. Once the browser/screen reaches 600pixels then #title_message will become hidden.

I would avoid using component state since this could be difficult to manage and prone to issues that can be difficult to troubleshoot.

You should use either cookies or localStorage for persisting a user's session data. You can also use a closure as a wrapper around your cookie or localStorage data.

Here is a simple example of a UserProfile closure that will hold the user's name.

Non-numpy functions like math.abs() or math.log10() don't play nicely with numpy arrays. Just replace the line raising an error with:

When building attributed strings, I prefer to use the mutable subclass, just to keep things cleaner.

A way that often works well for handling this kind of situation is to not explicitly check if the variable exists but just go ahead and wrap the first usage of the possibly non-existing variable in a try/except NameError:

In any case, here is a minimalistic complete working example for you which I just hacked up:

In order for the #include to find the header, the libraries obviously need to be in the search path. In MSVC, you set this in Project Settings>Configuration Properties>C/C++>Additional Include Directories. In my case, this is set to C:\Program Files (x86)\boost\boost_1_42

I too was facing the same issue. Then discovered that the path for the lib folder in the classpath was not set properly.

Found out these problems can be addressed by using

ObjectMapper#convertValue(Object fromValue, Class<T> toValueType)

As a result, the origal quuestion can be solved in a 2-step converison:

1. Demarshall the JSON back to an object - in which the Map<String, Object> is demarshalled as a HashMap<String, LinkedHashMap>, by using bjectMapper#readValue().

2. Convert inner LinkedHashMaps back to proper objects

To prevent the 'classType' has to be known in advance, I enforced during marshalling an extra Map was added, containing <key, classNameString> pairs. So at unmarshalling time, the classType can be extracted dynamically.

In Dockerfile for nginx container add line:

Then remove everything in directories "/var/cache", "/var/log" and rebuild docker's containers.

Where s is the string that you're looking for matches in.

Quick explanation of the regexp bits:

r'...' is a "raw" string. It stops you having to worry about escaping characters quite as much as you normally would. (\ especially -- in a raw string a \ is just a \. In a regular string you'd have to do \\ every time, and that gets old in regexps.)

"href=[\'"]?" says to match "href=", possibly followed by a ' or ". "Possibly" because it's hard to say how horrible the HTML you're looking at is, and the quotes aren't strictly required.

Enclosing the next bit in "()" says to make it a "group", which means to split it out and return it separately to us. It's just a way to say "this is the part of the pattern I'm interested in."

"[^\'" >]+" says to match any characters that aren't ', ", >, or a space. Essentially this is a list of characters that are an end to the URL. It lets us avoid trying to write a regexp that reliably matches a full URL, which can be a bit complicated.

The suggestion in another answer to use BeautifulSoup isn't bad, but it does introduce a higher level of external requirements. Plus it doesn't help you in your stated goal of learning regexps, which I'd assume this specific html-parsing project is just a part of.

It's pretty easy to do:

A few years ago I wrote a winforms app with the help of a few win32 api's to completely lock myself out of my computer for an hour so that it would force me to go and exercise. Because I was lazy? No... because I had a personal fitness goal. Sometimes you just need a little kick to get started :)

I actually tend to prefer PascalCase here - but out of habit, I'm guilty of UPPER_CASE...

I got this error because, on my system at least, if extension_dir in php.ini is set to a relative path, it is taken as being relative to the root Apache directory, so to get it to point to the correct directory I had to use an absolute path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\ext". (This was PHP 5.5.31 and Apache 2.4.23 on Windows 10; setting extension_dir to ext worked just fine with the same setup on Windows 7. I first got it to work by putting an ext directory in the Apache folder with the necessary dlls, then figured out what was happening.)

It was also necessary to set the PATH correctly or make sure the dlls mentioned above (libeay32.dll, libssh2.dll, and ssleay32.dll) are in Apache's bin directory (or most likely any of the places other answers mention). The fact that I got the same error message for Apache not being able to find lib_curl.dll as for it not being able to find libssh2.dll did not make things any easier to figure out.

You don't need to wrap in any sort of @font-face, etc. the response you get back from Google's API is ready to go and lets you use font families like normal.

What I did actually was made an app.css that imported a fonts.css with a few font imports. Simply for organization (now I know where all my fonts are). The important thing to remember is that you import the fonts first.

Keep in mind that any component you import to your React app should be imported after the style import. Especially if those components also import their own styles. This way you can be sure of the ordering of styles. This is why it's best to import fonts at the top of your main file (don't forget to check your final bundled CSS file to double check if you're having trouble).

Actually, you can do what you want. If you want to provide multiple interfaces or a class plus interfaces, you have to have your wildcard look something like this:

It looks like this doesn't work for variable declaration, but it does work when putting a generic boundary on a class. Thus, to do what you want, you may have to jump through a few hoops. But you can do it. You can do something like this, putting a generic boundary on your class and then:

It's kind of pointless to talk about "database performance", "query performance" is a better term here. And the answer is: it depends on the query, data that it operates on, indexes, hardware, etc. You can get an idea of how many rows are going to be scanned and what indexes are going to be used with EXPLAIN syntax.

The argument order seems to matter... to exclude subdirectories, I used

...and that works for me (Windows 10 copy from Windows Server 2016)

There is a better solution to this answer that is more Angular based.

1. Save your string in a variable in the .ts file

   MyStrings = ["one","two","three"]

2. In the html file use *ngFor.

3. if you want to dynamically insert the div element, just push more strings into the MyStrings array

Performance Concerns

Read Simon Weaver's answer below regarding performance. If you're accessing session data inside a WebApi project it can have very serious performance consequence - I have seen ASP.NET enforce a 200ms delay for concurrent requests. This could add up and become disastrous if you have many concurrent requests.

Make sure you are locking down resources per user - an authenticated user shouldn't be able to retrieve data from your WebApi that they don't have access to.

In general I use system, open, IPC::Open2, or IPC::Open3 depending on what I want to do. The qx// operator, while simple, is too constraining in its functionality to be very useful outside of quick hacks. I find open to much handier.

Use open when you want to write data to a process's STDIN or read data from a process's STDOUT (but not both at the same time).

use IPC::Open3 when you need to capture all three standard file handles of the process. I would write an example, but it works mostly the same way IPC::Open2 does, but with a slightly different order to the arguments and a third file handle.

The problem is that you're not initializing the pointer. You've created a pointer to "anywhere you want"—which could be the address of some other variable, or the middle of your code, or some memory that isn't mapped at all.

You need to create an int variable somewhere in memory for the int * variable to point at.

Your second example does this, but it does other things that aren't relevant here. Here's the simplest thing you need to do:

Here, the int variable isn't initialized—but that's fine, because you're just going to replace whatever value was there with 20. The key is that the pointer is initialized to point to the variable. In fact, you could just allocate some raw memory to point to, if you want:

Install the packages into Your virtual environment.

Copying from another answer, the above methods work but gmail always replaces the "from" and "reply to" email with the actual sending gmail account. apparently there is a work around however:

As of currently (September 2014) I would recommend using NSInteger/CGFloat when interacting with iOS API's etc if you are also building your app for arm64. This is because you will likely get unexpected results when you use the float, long and int types.

EXAMPLE: FLOAT/DOUBLE vs CGFLOAT

As an example we take the UITableView delegate method tableView:heightForRowAtIndexPath:.

In a 32-bit only application it will work fine if it is written like this:

float is a 32-bit value and the 44 you are returning is a 32-bit value. However, if we compile/run this same piece of code in a 64-bit arm64 architecture the 44 will be a 64-bit value. Returning a 64-bit value when a 32-bit value is expected will give an unexpected row height.

You can solve this issue by using the CGFloat type

This type represents a 32-bit float in a 32-bit environment and a 64-bit double in a 64-bit environment. Therefore when using this type the method will always receive the expected type regardless of compile/runtime environment.

The same is true for methods that expect integers. Such methods will expect a 32-bit int value in a 32-bit environment and a 64-bit long in a 64-bit environment. You can solve this case by using the type NSInteger which serves as an int or a long based on the compile/runtime environemnt.

In a pinch, just type 'notepad (filename)' and notepad will pop up with the file you want to edit in it. Otherwise Vim or some such will have to be installed.

And the most important thing here is "--init-command" which will speed up the import progress 10 times fast.

By using the ref keyword with reference types you are effectively passing a reference to the reference. In many ways it's the same as using the out keyword but with the minor difference that there's no guarantee that the method will actually assign anything to the ref'ed parameter.

This error can also happen if the server only sends its leaf certificate and does not send all the chain certificates needed to build the trust chain to the root CA. Unfortunately this is a common misconfiguration of servers.

Most browsers work around this problem if they already know the missing chain certificate from earlier visits or maybe download the missing certificate if the leaf certificate contains a URL for CA issuers in Authority Information Access (AIA).
