webRequest.ContentType = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded";
Where does application/x-www-form-urlencoded's name come from?
If you send HTTP GET request, you can use query parameters as follows:
http://example.com/path/to/page
?name=ferret&color=purple
The content of the fields is encoded as a query string. The application/x-www-form-
urlencoded
's name come from the previous url query parameter but the query parameters is
in where the body of request instead of url.
The whole form data is sent as a long query string.The query string contains name- value pairs separated by & character
e.g. field1=value1&field2=value2
It can be simple request called simple - don't trigger a preflight check
Simple request must have some properties. You can look here for more info. One of them is that there are only three values allowed for Content-Type header for simple requests
3.For mostly flat param trees, application/x-www-form-urlencoded is tried and tested.
request.ContentType = "application/json; charset=utf-8";
axios and superagent, two of the more popular npm HTTP libraries, work with JSON bodies by default.
{ "id": 1, "name": "Foo", "price": 123, "tags": [ "Bar", "Eek" ], "stock": { "warehouse": 300, "retail": 20 } }
Now, if the request isn't simple request, the browser automatically sends a HTTP request before the original one by OPTIONS method to check whether it is safe to send the original request. If itis ok, Then send actual request. You can look here for more info.
myDummy[myDummy$country == "Austria "] <- "Austria"
After this, you'll need to force R not to recognize "Austria "
as a level. Let's pretend you also have "USA"
and "Spain"
as levels:
myDummy$country = factor(myDummy$country, levels=c("Austria", "USA", "Spain"))
It is a little less intimidating than the highest voted response, but it should still work.

Please note the layout_gravity as opposed to just gravity.
I would do it with awk, e.g.
awk '/[0-9]+/ { a = a $0 ";" } END { print a }' file.txt
(a disadvantage is that a is "accumulated" in memory).
EDIT
Forgot about printf! So also
awk '/[0-9]+/ { printf "%s;", $0 }' file.txt
or likely better, what it was already given in the other ans using awk.
By using
(index for index, value in enumerate(the_iterable) if condition(value))
one can check the condition of the value of the first item in the_iterable, and obtain its index without the need to evaluate all of the items in the_iterable.
The complete expression to use is
first_index = next(index for index, value in enumerate(the_iterable) if condition(value))
Here first_index assumes the value of the first value identified in the expression discussed above.

If s
is your string than you could do it this way:
Mid(s, index, 1)
Edit based on comment below question.
It seems that you need a bit different approach which should be easier. Try in this way:
Dim character As String 'Integer if for numbers
's = ActiveDocument.Content.Text - we don't need it
character = Activedocument.Characters(index)
SELECT col,
COUNT(dupe_col) AS dupe_cnt
FROM TABLE
GROUP BY col
HAVING COUNT(dupe_col) > 1
ORDER BY COUNT(dupe_col) DESC
Here are three ways.
Raising KeyError
when key is not found:
result = [mapping[k] for k in iterable]
Default values for missing keys.
result = [mapping.get(k, default_value) for k in iterable]
Skipping missing keys.
result = [mapping[k] for k in iterable if k in mapping]
string input = Console.ReadLine();
double d;
if (!Double.TryParse(input, out d))
Console.WriteLine("Wrong input");
double r = d * Math.Pi;
Console.WriteLine(r);
The main reason of different input/output you're facing is that Console.Read()
returns char code, not a number you typed! Learn how to use MSDN.
In the following example,
playground
is the database name andequipment
is the table name
Another way is using SHOW-COLUMNS:5.5 (available also for 5.5>
)
$ mysql -uroot -p<password> -h<host> -P<port> -e \
"SHOW COLUMNS FROM playground.equipment"
And the output:
mysql: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.

| quant | int(11) | YES | | NULL | |

One can also use mysqlshow-client (also available for 5.5>
) like following:
$ mysqlshow -uroot -p<password> -h<host> -P<port> \
playground equipment
And the output:
mysqlshow: [Warning] Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure.

This seems to work well for me. It's basically a recap of some earlier posts. I just put this into my MainWindow.xaml.cs file in the constructor. I create two handlers, one for keyboard, and one for the mouse, and funnel both events into the same function, HandleGotFocusEvent
, which is defined right after the constructor in the same file.
public MainWindow()
{
InitializeComponent();
EventManager.RegisterClassHandler(typeof(TextBox),
UIElement.GotKeyboardFocusEvent,
new RoutedEventHandler(HandleGotFocusEvent), true);
EventManager.RegisterClassHandler(typeof(TextBox),
UIElement.GotMouseCaptureEvent,
new RoutedEventHandler(HandleGotFocusEvent), true);
}
private void HandleGotFocusEvent(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
if (sender is TextBox)
(sender as TextBox).SelectAll();
}

You can look at sorting the string -- treat it as a char array -- and then do a modified binary search which counts occurrences? But I agree with @tofutim that traversing it is the most efficient -- O(N) versus O(N * logN) + O(logN)
I like the pretty form of testing indexOf with an array, but be aware, this doesn't work in all browsers (because Array.prototype.indexOf is not present in old IExplorers).
However, there is a similar way by using jQuery with the $.inArray() function :
if ($.inArray(field, ['value1', 'value2', 'value3']) > -1) {
alert('value ' + field + ' is into the list');
}
It could be better, so you should not test if indexOf exists.
Be careful with the comparison (don't use == true/false), because $.inArray returns the index of matching position where the value has been found, and if the index is 0, it would be false when it really exist into the array.
Your IDs are #1
, and cycle
just wants a number passed to it. You need to remove the #
before calling cycle
.
$('a.pagerlink').click(function() {
var id = $(this).attr('id');
$container.cycle(id.replace('#', ''));
return false;
});
Also, IDs shouldn't contain the #
character, it's invalid (numeric IDs are also invalid). I suggest changing the ID to something like pager_1
.
<a href="#" id="pager_1" class="pagerlink" >link</a>
$('a.pagerlink').click(function() {
var id = $(this).attr('id');
$container.cycle(id.replace('pager_', ''));
return false;
});
In the past, I've solved this kind of problem with StringTemplate and Groovy Templates.
Ultimately, the decision of using a templating engine or not should be based on the following factors:
If any of the above applies to your project, I would consider using a templating engine, most of which provide this functionality, and more.
You can do this using Mockito to have the mock return the correct params, verify they were indeed called (optionally specify number of times), write the 'result' and verify it's correct.
import static org.junit.Assert.*;
import static org.mockito.Mockito.*;
import java.io.*;
import javax.servlet.http.*;
import org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils;
import org.junit.Test;
public class TestMyServlet extends Mockito{
@Test
public void testServlet() throws Exception {
HttpServletRequest request = mock(HttpServletRequest.class);
HttpServletResponse response = mock(HttpServletResponse.class);
when(request.getParameter("username")).thenReturn("me");
when(request.getParameter("password")).thenReturn("secret");
StringWriter stringWriter = new StringWriter();
PrintWriter writer = new PrintWriter(stringWriter);
when(response.getWriter()).thenReturn(writer);
new MyServlet().doPost(request, response);
verify(request, atLeast(1)).getParameter("username"); // only if you want to verify username was called...
writer.flush(); // it may not have been flushed yet...
assertTrue(stringWriter.toString().contains("My expected string"));
}
}
All the metadata about the columns in Oracle Database is accessible using one of the following views.
user_tab_cols; -- For all tables owned by the user
all_tab_cols ; -- For all tables accessible to the user
dba_tab_cols; -- For all tables in the Database.
So, if you are looking for a column like ADD_TMS in SCOTT.EMP Table and add the column only if it does not exist, the PL/SQL Code would be along these lines..
DECLARE
v_column_exists number := 0;
BEGIN
Select count(*) into v_column_exists
from user_tab_cols
where upper(column_name) = 'ADD_TMS'
and upper(table_name) = 'EMP';
--and owner = 'SCOTT --*might be required if you are using all/dba views
if (v_column_exists = 0) then
execute immediate 'alter table emp add (ADD_TMS date)';
end if;
end;
/
If you are planning to run this as a script (not part of a procedure), the easiest way would be to include the alter command in the script and see the errors at the end of the script, assuming you have no Begin-End for the script..
If you have file1.sql
alter table t1 add col1 date;
alter table t1 add col2 date;
alter table t1 add col3 date;
And col2 is present,when the script is run, the other two columns would be added to the table and the log would show the error saying "col2" already exists, so you should be ok.
Didn't test ist, but this looks promising:
It is obviously splitting AVI into segments of same size, which implies these chunks don't loose quality or increase memory or must be recalculated.
It also uses the codec copy - does that mean it can handle very large streams ? Because this is my problem, i want to break down my avi so i could use a filter to get rid of the distorsion. But a whole avi runs for hours.
React 17 delegates events to root

You need make sure to start the session at the top of every PHP file where you want to use the $_SESSION
superglobal. Like this:
<?php
session_start();
echo $_SESSION['youritem'];
?>
You forgot the Session HELPER.

There are no auto incrementing features in Oracle for a column. You need to create a SEQUENCE object. You can use the sequence like:
insert into table(batch_id, ...) values(my_sequence.nextval, ...)
...to return the next number. To find out the last created sequence nr (in your session), you would use:
my_sequence.currval
This site has several complete examples on how to use sequences.

I've found that you can use any subset condition for a given column by wrapping it in []. For instance, you have a df with columns ['Product','Time', 'Year', 'Color']
And let's say you want to include products made before 2014. You could write,
df[df['Year'] < 2014]
To return all the rows where this is the case. You can add different conditions.
df[df['Year'] < 2014][df['Color' == 'Red']
Then just choose the columns you want as directed above. For instance, the product color and key for the df above,
df[df['Year'] < 2014][df['Color'] == 'Red'][['Product','Color']]
There is a very simple way in which you can do this. It involves injecting a javascript code to a label control from code behind. here is sample code:
<head runat="server">
<title>Calling javascript function from code behind example</title>
<script type="text/javascript">
function showDialogue() {
alert("this dialogue has been invoked through codebehind.");
}
</script>
</head>
..........
lblJavaScript.Text = "<script type='text/javascript'>showDialogue();</script>";

In case none of the answers work perhaps the following clarifications will help. I followed the top answer and tried to load the program with ADB from the command line to reduce the possible complications and this did not work.
Once enabling PTP mode the ADB devices command would find my Nexus 4, but I could not push to it. I had to use Eclipse and in order for the dialog to display to accept the RSA key described below.
Note: When you connect a device running Android 4.2.2 or higher to your computer, the system shows a dialog asking whether to accept an RSA key.
With PostgreSQL 9.1 this can be achieved using a writeable CTE (common table expression):
WITH new_values (id, field1, field2) as (
values
(1, 'A', 'X'),
(2, 'B', 'Y'),
(3, 'C', 'Z')
),
upsert as
(
update mytable m
set field1 = nv.field1,
field2 = nv.field2
FROM new_values nv
WHERE m.id = nv.id
RETURNING m.*
)
INSERT INTO mytable (id, field1, field2)
SELECT id, field1, field2
FROM new_values
WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1
FROM upsert up
WHERE up.id = new_values.id)

Note that this solution does not prevent a unique key violation but it is not vulnerable to lost updates.

In my case; my WCF service function was using List<byte> Types
parameter and i was getting this exception in the client side. Then i changed it to byte[] Types
, updated service reference and problem is solved.
It seems, that the simple way
-Dmaven.javadoc.skip=true
does not work with the release-plugin. in this case you have to pass the parameter as an "argument"
mvn release:perform -Darguments="-Dmaven.javadoc.skip=true"
If you really and I mean really want to know if an email address is valid...ask the mail exchanger to prove it, no regex needed. I can provide the code if requested.
General steps are as follows: 1. does email address have a domain name part? (index of @ > 0) 2. using a DNS query ask if domain has a mail exchanger 3. open tcp connection to mail exchanger 4. using the smtp protocol, open a message to the server using the email address as the reciever 5. parse the server's response. 6. quit the message if you made it this far, everything is good.
This is as you can imagine, very expensive time wise and relies on smtp, but it does work.
I figured out that onCreateOptionsMenu
and onPrepareOptionsMenu
methods called only in the case of the fragment really visible. I could not found any method which behaves like these, also I tried OnPageChangeListener
but it did not work for the situations, for example, I need a variable initialized in onCreate
method.
So these two methods can be used for this problem as a workaround, specifically for little and short jobs.
I think, this is the better solution but not the best. I will use this but wait for better solution at the same time.

IFNULL

no brackets around the function
reload(module)
, but only if it's completely stand-alone. If anything else has a reference to the module (or any object belonging to the module), then you'll get subtle and curious errors caused by the old code hanging around longer than you expected, and things like isinstance
not working across different versions of the same code.
If you have one-way dependencies, you must also reload all modules that depend on the reloaded module to get rid of all the references to the old code. And then reload modules that depend on the reloaded modules, recursively.
If you have circular dependencies, which is very common for example when you are dealing with reloading a package, you must unload all the modules in the group in one go. You can't do this with reload()
because it will re-import each module before its dependencies have been refreshed, allowing old references to creep into new modules.
The only way to do it in this case is to hack sys.modules
, which is kind of unsupported. You'd have to go through and delete each sys.modules
entry you wanted to be reloaded on next import, and also delete entries whose values are None
to deal with an implementation issue to do with caching failed relative imports. It's not terribly nice but as long as you have a fully self-contained set of dependencies that doesn't leave references outside its codebase, it's workable.
It's probably best to restart the server. :-)
I think this is what the original poster meant to accomplish:
var array_of_functions = [
function() { first_function('a string') },
function() { second_function('a string') },
function() { third_function('a string') },
function() { fourth_function('a string') }
]
for (i = 0; i < array_of_functions.length; i++) {
array_of_functions[i]();
}
Hopefully this will help others (like me 20 minutes ago :-) looking for any hint about how to call JS functions in an array.
You can concatenate an array of values together using PowerShell's `-join' operator. Here is an example:
$FilePath = '{0}\temp\scripts\pshell\dump.txt' -f $env:SystemDrive;
$Computer = 'pc1';
$Speed = 9001;
$RegCheck = $true;
$Computer,$Speed,$RegCheck -join ',' | Out-File -FilePath $FilePath -Append -Width 200;
Output
pc1,9001,True

and overriding its paintComponent
method to draw the image.javac only compiles the code. You need to use java command to run the code. The error is because your classpath doesn't contain the class Subclass iwhen you tried to compile it. you need to add them with the -cp variable in javac command
java -cp classpath-entries mainjava arg1 arg2
should run your code with 2 arguments
jeues answer helped me nothing :-( after hours I finally found the solution for my system and I think this will help other people too. I had to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH like this:

after that everything worked very well, even without any "-extension RANDR" switch.

- Create constraints
The tricky part is Removing constraints, so I want to tell you how, in case someone needs to know how to do that:
Run SHOW CREATE TABLE <Table Name>
query to see what is your FOREIGN KEY's name (Red frame in below image):
Run ALTER TABLE <Table Name> DROP FOREIGN KEY <Foreign Key Name>
. This will remove the foreign key constraint.
Drop the associated Index (through table structure page), and you are done.
to re-create foreign keys:
ALTER TABLE <Table Name>
ADD FOREIGN KEY (<Field Name>) REFERENCES <Foreign Table Name>(<Field Name>);
You may try something like that:
public Stream ConvertToBase64(Stream stream)
{
Byte[] inArray = new Byte[(int)stream.Length];
Char[] outArray = new Char[(int)(stream.Length * 1.34)];
stream.Read(inArray, 0, (int)stream.Length);
Convert.ToBase64CharArray(inArray, 0, inArray.Length, outArray, 0);
return new MemoryStream(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(outArray));
}
A solution that works no matter if you are developing on a local server or live is to add "//" in front of your link. This will effectivly remove the URL of the site you are currently on.
Example:
<a href="www.google.com">Google.com</a>
This will in output http://localhost/mySite/currentPage/www.google.com
What you should do instead is this:
<a href="//www.google.com">Google.com</a>
This will output www.google.com
Use data type LONGBLOB
instead of BLOB
in your database table.
document.getElementById()
method accepts only one argument.
However, you may always set classes to the elements and use getElementsByClassName()
instead. Another option for modern browsers is to use querySelectorAll()
method:
document.querySelectorAll("#myCircle1, #myCircle2, #myCircle3, #myCircle4");
It was now the third time I googled myself to this SO post as I always forget how to mock an @Value field. Though the accepted answer is correct, I always need some time to get the "setField" call right, so at least for myself I paste an example snippet here:
Production class:
@Value("#{myProps[‘some.default.url']}")
private String defaultUrl;
Test class:
import org.springframework.test.util.ReflectionTestUtils;
ReflectionTestUtils.setField(instanceUnderTest, "defaultUrl", "http://foo");
// Note: Don't use MyClassUnderTest.class, use the instance you are testing itself
// Note: Don't use the referenced string "#{myProps[‘some.default.url']}",
// but simply the FIELDs name ("defaultUrl")
>>> def func(a, *args, **kwargs):
... print 'a %s, args %s, kwargs %s' % (a, args, kwargs)
...
>>> func('one', 'two', 'three', four='four', five='five')
a one, args ('two', 'three'), kwargs {'four': 'four', 'five': 'five'}
>>> def anotherfunct(beta, *args):
... print 'beta %s, args %s' % (beta, args)
...
>>> def func(a, *args, **kwargs):
... anotherfunct(a, *args)
...
>>> func('one', 'two', 'three', four='four', five='five')
beta one, args ('two', 'three')
>>>
I've had this problem before, you can go to "advanced" tab of "choose a data source" page and click on "suggested types" button, and set the "number of rows" as much as you want. after that, the type and text qualified are set to the true values.
i applied the above solution and can convert my data to SQL.
Use the native function htmlspecialchars
. It will escape from all special character. If you want to escape from a quote specifically, use with ENT_COMPAT
or ENT_QUOTES
. Here is the example:
$str = "Jane & 'Tarzan'";
echo htmlspecialchars($str, ENT_COMPAT); // Will only convert double quotes
echo "<br>";
echo htmlspecialchars($str, ENT_QUOTES); // Converts double and single quotes
echo "<br>";
echo htmlspecialchars($str, ENT_NOQUOTES); // Does not convert any quotes
The output would be like this:
Jane & 'Tarzan'<br>
Jane & 'Tarzan'<br>
Jane & 'Tarzan'

What about this (a bit late):
def remove_prefix(s, prefix):
return s[len(prefix):] if s.startswith(prefix) else s
If you want to make a copy of:
int[] a = {1,2,3,4,5};
This is the way to go:
int[] b = Arrays.copyOf(a, a.length);
Arrays.copyOf
may be faster than a.clone()
on small arrays. Both copy elements equally fast but clone() returns Object
so the compiler has to insert an implicit cast to int[]
. You can see it in the bytecode, something like this:
ALOAD 1
INVOKEVIRTUAL [I.clone ()Ljava/lang/Object;
CHECKCAST [I
ASTORE 2
Surprised a multiline re.sub has not been suggested (Oh, because you've already split your string... But why?):
>>> import re
>>> a = "Foo\n \nBar\nBaz\n\n Garply\n \n"
>>> print a
Foo
Bar
Baz
Garply
>>> print(re.sub(r'\n\s*\n','\n',a,re.MULTILINE))
Foo
Bar
Baz
Garply
>>>
Here's a simple way:
=NUMBERVALUE( CONCAT(5.66,"%") )
Just concatenate a %
symbol after the number.
By itself, this output would be text, so we also tuck the CONCAT function inside the NUMBERVALUE function.
p.s., in old excel, you might need to type the full word "CONCATENATE"
In Python, we handle exceptions similar to other language, but the difference is some syntax difference, for example,
try:
#Your code in which exception can occur
except <here we can put in a particular exception name>:
# We can call that exception here also, like ZeroDivisionError()
# now your code
# We can put in a finally block also
finally:
# Your code...
In ES6, you can do like this.
var key = "name";
var person = {[key]:"John"}; // same as var person = {"name" : "John"}
console.log(person); // should print Object { name="John"}
var key = "name";_x000D_
var person = {[key]:"John"};_x000D_
console.log(person); // should print Object { name="John"}
_x000D_
Its called Computed Property Names, its implemented using bracket notation( square brackets) []
Example: { [variableName] : someValue }
Starting with ECMAScript 2015, the object initializer syntax also supports computed property names. That allows you to put an expression in brackets [], that will be computed and used as the property name.
For ES5, try something like this
var yourObject = {};
yourObject[yourKey] = "yourValue";
console.log(yourObject );
example:
var person = {};
var key = "name";
person[key] /* this is same as person.name */ = "John";
console.log(person); // should print Object { name="John"}
var person = {};_x000D_
var key = "name";_x000D_
_x000D_
person[key] /* this is same as person.name */ = "John";_x000D_
_x000D_
console.log(person); // should print Object { name="John"}
_x000D_
Or, KISS.

Ubuntu 14 and lower does not have "systemctl
" Source: https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/linux-postinstall/#configure-docker-to-start-on-boot
Configure Docker to start on boot:
Most current Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu 16.04 and higher) use systemd to manage which services start when the system boots. Ubuntu 14.10 and below use upstart.
1) systemd (Ubuntu 16 and above):
$ sudo systemctl enable docker
To disable this behavior, use disable instead.
$ sudo systemctl disable docker
2) upstart (Ubuntu 14 and below):
Docker is automatically configured to start on boot using upstart. To disable this behavior, use the following command:
$ echo manual | sudo tee /etc/init/docker.override
chkconfig
$ sudo chkconfig docker on
Done.
Yes you can.
See the code from the following thread from 2007: PDF within a DIV
<div>
<object data="test.pdf" type="application/pdf" width="300" height="200">
alt : <a href="test.pdf">test.pdf</a>
</object>
</div>
It uses <object>
, which can be styled with CSS, and so you can float them, give them borders, etc.
(In the end, I edited my pdf files to remove large borders and converted them to jpg images.)
You can use these string functions,
strstr — Find the first occurrence of a string
stristr — Case-insensitive strstr()
strrchr — Find the last occurrence of a character in a string
strpos — Find the position of the first occurrence of a substring in a string
strpbrk — Search a string for any of a set of characters
If that doesn't help then you should use preg
regular expression
preg_match — Perform a regular expression match
You can remove the border from top if the element is sibling of the row . Add this to css :
.row + .row {
border-top:0;
}

I have successfully captured HTTP traffic using Fiddler2 as a proxy, which can be installed on any Windows PC on your network.
I was able to fix it by install jersey-media-json-jackson
Add the dependency to pom.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.media</groupId>
<artifactId>jersey-media-json-jackson</artifactId>
<scope>runtime</scope>
</dependency>
You either have to make the method Shared
or use an instance of the class General
:
Dim gen = New General()
gen.updateDynamics(get_prospect.dynamicsID)
or
General.updateDynamics(get_prospect.dynamicsID)
Public Shared Sub updateDynamics(dynID As Int32)
' ... '
End Sub
My approach was quite different - I flattened out both collections using JSON.stringify and used a normal string compare to check for equality.
I.e.
var arr1 = [
{Col: 'a', Val: 1},
{Col: 'b', Val: 2},
{Col: 'c', Val: 3}
];
var arr2 = [
{Col: 'x', Val: 24},
{Col: 'y', Val: 25},
{Col: 'z', Val: 26}
];
if(JSON.stringify(arr1) == JSON.stringify(arr2)){
alert('Collections are equal');
}else{
alert('Collections are not equal');
}
NB: Please note that his method assumes that both Collections are sorted in a similar fashion, if not, it would give you a false result!
There's no reason to new (on the heap) when you can allocate on the stack (unless for some reason you've got a small stack and want to use the heap.
You might want to consider using a shared_ptr (or one of its variants) from the standard library if you do want to allocate on the heap. That'll handle doing the delete for you once all references to the shared_ptr have gone out of existance.
Use JSON.stringify
:
> JSON.stringify({ asd: 'bla' });
'{"asd":"bla"}'
$('#submit').click(function(){
if($('#myMessage').val() == ''){
alert('Input can not be left blank');
}
});
Update
If you don't want whitespace also u can remove them using jQuery.trim()
Description: Remove the whitespace from the beginning and end of a string.
$('#submit').click(function(){
if($.trim($('#myMessage').val()) == ''){
alert('Input can not be left blank');
}
});
A couple of different ways to solve the problem:
Just replace Environment.Exit with return. The compiler knows that return ends the method, but doesn't know that Environment.Exit does.
static void Main(string[] args) {
if(args.Length != 0) {
if(Byte.TryParse(args[0], out maxSize))
queue = new Queue(){MaxSize = maxSize};
else
return;
} else {
return;
}
Of course, you can really only get away with that because you're using 0 as your exit code in all cases. Really, you should return an int instead of using Environment.Exit. For this particular case, this would be my preferred method
static int Main(string[] args) {
if(args.Length != 0) {
if(Byte.TryParse(args[0], out maxSize))
queue = new Queue(){MaxSize = maxSize};
else
return 1;
} else {
return 2;
}
}
Initialize queue to null, which is really just a compiler trick that says "I'll figure out my own uninitialized variables, thank you very much". It's a useful trick, but I don't like it in this case - you have too many if branches to easily check that you're doing it properly. If you really wanted to do it this way, something like this would be clearer:
static void Main(string[] args) {
Byte maxSize;
Queue queue = null;
if(args.Length == 0 || !Byte.TryParse(args[0], out maxSize)) {
Environment.Exit(0);
}
queue = new Queue(){MaxSize = maxSize};
for(Byte j = 0; j < queue.MaxSize; j++)
queue.Insert(j);
for(Byte j = 0; j < queue.MaxSize; j++)
Console.WriteLine(queue.Remove());
}
Add a return statement after Environment.Exit. Again, this is more of a compiler trick - but is slightly more legit IMO because it adds semantics for humans as well (though it'll keep you from that vaunted 100% code coverage)
static void Main(String[] args) {
if(args.Length != 0) {
if(Byte.TryParse(args[0], out maxSize)) {
queue = new Queue(){MaxSize = maxSize};
} else {
Environment.Exit(0);
return;
}
} else {
Environment.Exit(0);
return;
}
for(Byte j = 0; j < queue.MaxSize; j++)
queue.Insert(j);
for(Byte j = 0; j < queue.MaxSize; j++)
Console.WriteLine(queue.Remove());
}
I want to mention one important note regarding req.query
, because currently I am working on pagination functionality based on req.query
and I have one interesting example to demonstrate to you...
Example:
// Fetching patients from the database
exports.getPatients = (req, res, next) => {
const pageSize = +req.query.pageSize;
const currentPage = +req.query.currentPage;
const patientQuery = Patient.find();
let fetchedPatients;
// If pageSize and currentPage are not undefined (if they are both set and contain valid values)
if(pageSize && currentPage) {
/**
* Construct two different queries
* - Fetch all patients
* - Adjusted one to only fetch a selected slice of patients for a given page
*/
patientQuery
/**
* This means I will not retrieve all patients I find, but I will skip the first "n" patients
* For example, if I am on page 2, then I want to skip all patients that were displayed on page 1,
*
* Another example: if I am displaying 7 patients per page , I want to skip 7 items because I am on page 2,
* so I want to skip (7 * (2 - 1)) => 7 items
*/
.skip(pageSize * (currentPage - 1))
/**
* Narrow dont the amound documents I retreive for the current page
* Limits the amount of returned documents
*
* For example: If I got 7 items per page, then I want to limit the query to only
* return 7 items.
*/
.limit(pageSize);
}
patientQuery.then(documents => {
res.status(200).json({
message: 'Patients fetched successfully',
patients: documents
});
});
};
You will noticed +
sign in front of req.query.pageSize
and req.query.currentPage
Why? If you delete +
in this case, you will get an error, and that error will be thrown because we will use invalid type (with error message 'limit' field must be numeric).
Important: By default if you extracting something from these query parameters, it will always be a string, because it's coming the URL and it's treated as a text.
If we need to work with numbers, and convert query statements from text to number, we can simply add a plus sign in front of statement.
Starting from Framework v4.5 you can use Activator.CreateInstanceFrom() to easily instantiate classes within assemblies. The following example shows how to use it and how to call a method passing parameters and getting return value.
// Assuming moduleFileName contains full or valid relative path to assembly
var moduleInstance = Activator.CreateInstanceFrom(moduleFileName, "MyNamespace.MyClass");
MethodInfo mi = moduleInstance.Unwrap().GetType().GetMethod("MyMethod");
// Assuming the method returns a boolean and accepts a single string parameter
bool rc = Convert.ToBoolean(mi.Invoke(moduleInstance.Unwrap(), new object[] { "MyParamValue" } ));
You may also try this:
arrOfObj.forEach(function(item){item.isActive = true;});
console.log(arrOfObj);
function alphaOnly(event) {
var key = event.keyCode;
return ((key >= 65 && key <= 90) || key == 8);
};
or
function lettersOnly(evt) {
evt = (evt) ? evt : event;
var charCode = (evt.charCode) ? evt.charCode : ((evt.keyCode) ? evt.keyCode :
((evt.which) ? evt.which : 0));
if (charCode > 31 && (charCode < 65 || charCode > 90) &&
(charCode < 97 || charCode > 122)) {
alert("Enter letters only.");
return false;
}
return true;
}
Dictionary<,> is the equivalent. While it doesn't have a Get(...) method, it does have an indexed property called Item which you can access in C# directly using index notation:
class Test {
Dictionary<int,String> entities;
public String getEntity(int code) {
return this.entities[code];
}
}
If you want to use a custom key type then you should consider implementing IEquatable<> and overriding Equals(object) and GetHashCode() unless the default (reference or struct) equality is sufficient for determining equality of keys. You should also make your key type immutable to prevent weird things happening if a key is mutated after it has been inserted into a dictionary (e.g. because the mutation caused its hash code to change).
I generated the "ssh" key again and added to my git account. This worked for me.
Please find following commands to generate the "ssh-key":
$ ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "[email protected]"
-> This creates a new ssh key, using the provided email as a label.
Generating public/private rsa key pair.
-> When you're prompted to "Enter a file in which to save the key," press Enter. This accepts the default file location.
Enter a file in which to save the key (/home/you/.ssh/id_rsa): [Press enter]
-> At the prompt, type a secure passphrase. For more information, see "Working with SSH key passphrases"
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): [Type a passphrase]
Enter same passphrase again: [Type passphrase again]
-> Your key is generated, to copy the key:
$ sudo cat /root/.ssh/id_rsa-pub
Hope this works!
In Excel for Mac at least, you can do this by saving as "CSV for MS DOS" which adds double quotes for any field which needs them.

Do you want to fetch and execute the script again and again, every time this component is rendered, or just once when this component is mounted into the DOM?
Perhaps try something like this:
componentDidMount () {
const script = document.createElement("script");
script.src = "https://use.typekit.net/foobar.js";
script.async = true;
document.body.appendChild(script);
}
However, this is only really helpful if the script you want to load isn't available as a module/package. First, I would always:
npm install typekit
)import
the package where I need it (import Typekit from 'typekit';
)This is likely how you installed the packages react
and react-document-title
from your example, and there is a Typekit package available on npm.
Now that we have hooks, a better approach might be to use useEffect
like so:
useEffect(() => {
const script = document.createElement('script');
script.src = "https://use.typekit.net/foobar.js";
script.async = true;
document.body.appendChild(script);
return () => {
document.body.removeChild(script);
}
}, []);
Which makes it a great candidate for a custom hook (eg: hooks/useScript.js
):
import { useEffect } from 'react';
const useScript = url => {
useEffect(() => {
const script = document.createElement('script');
script.src = url;
script.async = true;
document.body.appendChild(script);
return () => {
document.body.removeChild(script);
}
}, [url]);
};
export default useScript;
Which can be used like so:
import useScript from 'hooks/useScript';
const MyComponent = props => {
useScript('https://use.typekit.net/foobar.js');
// rest of your component
}
Global variables are not extern
nor static
by default on C and C++.
When you declare a variable as static
, you are restricting it to the current source file. If you declare it as extern
, you are saying that the variable exists, but are defined somewhere else, and if you don't have it defined elsewhere (without the extern
keyword) you will get a link error (symbol not found).
Your code will break when you have more source files including that header, on link time you will have multiple references to varGlobal
. If you declare it as static
, then it will work with multiple sources (I mean, it will compile and link), but each source will have its own varGlobal
.
What you can do in C++, that you can't in C, is to declare the variable as const
on the header, like this:
const int varGlobal = 7;
And include in multiple sources, without breaking things at link time. The idea is to replace the old C style #define
for constants.
If you need a global variable visible on multiple sources and not const
, declare it as extern
on the header, and then define it, this time without the extern keyword, on a source file:
Header included by multiple files:
extern int varGlobal;
In one of your source files:
int varGlobal = 7;

Have a look at SortedList
This class implements a sorted list. It is constructed with a comparator that can compare two objects and sort objects accordingly. When you add an object to the list, it is inserted in the correct place. Object that are equal according to the comparator, will be in the list in the order that they were added to this list. Add only objects that the comparator can compare.
When the list already contains objects that are equal according to the comparator, the new object will be inserted immediately after these other objects.

As others have pointed out one could just delete all the files in the repo and then check them out. I prefer this method and it can be done with the code below
git ls-files -z | xargs -0 rm
git checkout -- .
or one line
git ls-files -z | xargs -0 rm ; git checkout -- .
I use it all the time and haven't found any down sides yet!
For some further explanation, the -z
appends a null character onto the end of each entry output by ls-files
, and the -0
tells xargs
to delimit the output it was receiving by those null characters.
this works for me:

Your mock is raising the exception just fine, but the error.resp.status
value is missing. Rather than use return_value
, just tell Mock
that status
is an attribute:
barMock.side_effect = HttpError(mock.Mock(status=404), 'not found')
Additional keyword arguments to Mock()
are set as attributes on the resulting object.
I put your foo
and bar
definitions in a my_tests
module, added in the HttpError
class so I could use it too, and your test then can be ran to success:
>>> from my_tests import foo, HttpError
>>> import mock
>>> with mock.patch('my_tests.bar') as barMock:
... barMock.side_effect = HttpError(mock.Mock(status=404), 'not found')
... result = my_test.foo()
...
404 -
>>> result is None
True
You can even see the print '404 - %s' % error.message
line run, but I think you wanted to use error.content
there instead; that's the attribute HttpError()
sets from the second argument, at any rate.

To illustrate this, consider:
public interface FileOperation {
void perform(File file) throws FileNotFoundException;
}
public class OpenOnly implements FileOperation {
void perform(File file) throws FileNotFoundException {
FileReader r = new FileReader(file);
}
}
Suppose you then write:
public class OpenClose implements FileOperation {
void perform(File file) throws FileNotFoundException {
FileReader r = new FileReader(file);
r.close();
}
}
This will give you a compilation error, because r.close() throws an IOException, which is broader than FileNotFoundException.
To fix this, if you write:
public class OpenClose implements FileOperation {
void perform(File file) throws IOException {
FileReader r = new FileReader(file);
r.close();
}
}
You will get a different compilation error, because you are implementing the perform(...) operation, but throwing an exception not included in the interface's definition of the method.
Why is this important? Well a consumer of the interface may have:
FileOperation op = ...;
try {
op.perform(file);
}
catch (FileNotFoundException x) {
log(...);
}
If the IOException were allowed to be thrown, the client's code is nolonger correct.
Note that you can avoid this sort of issue if you use unchecked exceptions. (I am not suggesting you do or don't, that is a philosophical issue)

If that's a valid date/time entry then excel simply stores it as a number (days are integers and the time is the decimal part) so you can do a simple subtraction.
I'm not sure if 7/6 is 7th June or 6th July, assuming the latter then it's a future date so you can get the difference in days with
=INT(A1-TODAY())
Make sure you format result cell as general or number (not date)
Rethink your approach. Why would you copy only part of the sheet? You are referring to a named range "WholePrintArea" which doesn't exist. Also you should never use activate, select, copy or paste in your script. These make the "script" vulnerable to user actions and other simultaneous executions. In worst case scenario data ends up in wrong hands.
Use angular-ui-bootstrap's typehead.
It had great support for $http and promises. Also, it doesn't include any JQuery at all, pure AngularJS.
(I always prefer using existing libraries and if they are missing something to open an issue or pull request, much better then creating your own again)
The XPath turns into this:
Get me all of the div elements that have an id equal to container.
As for getting the first etc, you have two options.
Turn it into a .findElement()
- this will just return the first one for you anyway.
or
To explicitly do this in XPath, you'd be looking at:
(//div[@id='container'])[1]
for the first one, for the second etc:
(//div[@id='container'])[2]
Then XPath has a special indexer, called last, which would (you guessed it) get you the last element found:
(//div[@id='container'])[last()]
Worth mentioning that XPath indexers will start from 1 not 0 like they do in most programming languages.
As for getting the parent 'node', well, you can use parent:
//div[@id='container']/parent::*
That would get the div's direct parent.
You could then go further and say I want the first *div* with an id of container, and I want his parent:
(//div[@id='container'])[1]/parent::*
Hope that helps!
You could try using FontAwesome. It contains a sort-icon (http://fontawesome.io/icon/sort/).
To do so, you would
need to include fontawesome:
<link href="//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.1.0/css/font-awesome.min.css" rel="stylesheet">
and then simply use the fontawesome-icon instead of the default-bootstrap-icons in your th
's:
<th><b>#</b> <i class="fa fa-fw fa-sort"></i></th>
Hope that helps.
This is the solution I use. It has more lines but it will only create the datepicker once.
$('#txtSearch').datepicker({
constrainInput:false,
beforeShow: function(){
var t = $('#ddlSearchType').val();
if( ['Required Date', 'Submitted Date'].indexOf(t) ) {
$('#txtSearch').prop('readonly', false);
return false;
}
else $('#txtSearch').prop('readonly', true);
}
});
The datepicker will not show unless the value of ddlSearchType is either "Required Date" or "Submitted Date"
I encountered the same problem in Jupyter Notebook. Add this, and you are good to go.
import os
os.environ['PATH'] = os.environ['PATH']+';'+os.environ['CONDA_PREFIX']+r"\Library\bin\graphviz"
Instead of navigating to blank, you can do
webBrowser1.DocumentText="0";
webBrowser1.Document.OpenNew(true);
webBrowser1.Document.Write(theHTML);
webBrowser1.Refresh();
No need to wait for events or anything else. You can check the MSDN for OpenNew, while I have tested the initial DocumentText assignment in one of my projects and it works.
The @Transactional

Using the sibling selector is the general solution for styling other elements when hovering over a given one, but it works only if the other elements follow the given one in the DOM. What can we do when the other elements should actually be before the hovered one? Say we want to implement a signal bar rating widget like the one below:
This can actually be done easily using the CSS flexbox model, by setting flex-direction
to reverse
, so that the elements are displayed in the opposite order from the one they're in the DOM. The screenshot above is from such a widget, implemented with pure CSS.
Flexbox is very well supported by 95% of modern browsers.

Here is a quick Javascript snippet you can throw onto your master page template. As long as it's included, all queries will be output to your browser's Javascript Console. It prints them in an easily readable list, making it simple to browse around your site and see what queries are executing on each page.
When you're done debugging, just remove it from your template.
<script type="text/javascript">
var queries = {{ json_encode(DB::getQueryLog()) }};
console.log('/****************************** Database Queries ******************************/');
console.log(' ');
queries.forEach(function(query) {
console.log(' ' + query.time + ' | ' + query.query + ' | ' + query.bindings[0]);
});
console.log(' ');
console.log('/****************************** End Queries ***********************************/');
</script>
In command mode (press Esc if you are not sure) you can use:
when bullet have to hide then use:
li { list-style: none;}
when bullet have to list show, then use:
li { list-style: initial;}
This is from the lovely JavaScript library MooTools:
if (obj.nodeName){
switch (obj.nodeType){
case 1: return 'element';
case 3: return (/\S/).test(obj.nodeValue) ? 'textnode' : 'whitespace';
}
}
That corresponds to the long (or Int64), a 64-bit integer.
Although if the number from the database happens to be small enough, and you accidentally use an Int32, etc., you'll be fine. But the Int64 will definitely hold it.
And the error you get if you use something smaller and the full size is needed? A stack overflow! Yay!

Having worked with them in many circumstances, I've really come to think that iframe's are the web programming equivalent of the goto statement. That is, something to be generally avoided. Within a site they can be somewhat useful. However, cross-site, they are almost always a bad idea for anything but the simplest of content.
Consider the possibilities ... if used for parameterized content, they've created an interface. And in a professional site, that interface requires an SLA and version management - which are almost always ignored in rush to get online.
If used for active content - frames that host script - then there are the (different) cross domain script restrictions. Some can be hacked, but rarely consistently. And if your framed content has a need to be interactive, it will struggle to do so beyond the frame.
If used with licensed content, then the participating sites are burdened by the need to move entitlement information out of band between the hosts.
So, although, occaisionally useful within a site, they are rather unsuited to mashups. You're far better looking at real portals and portlets. Worse, they are a darling of every web amateur - many a tech manager has siezed on them as a solution to many problems. In fact, they create more.

For me the most elegant solution is this one:
XMLGregorianCalendar result = DatatypeFactory.newInstance()
.newXMLGregorianCalendar("2014-01-07");
Using Java 8.
Extended example:
XMLGregorianCalendar result = DatatypeFactory.newInstance()
.newXMLGregorianCalendar("2014-01-07");
System.out.println(result.getDay());
System.out.println(result.getMonth());
System.out.println(result.getYear());
This prints out:
7
1
2014
In your controller action rendering the view you could set the As
property of your model to true:
model.As = true;
return View(model);
and in your view simply:
@Html.CheckBoxFor(model => model.As);
Now since the As property of the model is set to true, the CheckBoxFor helper will generate a checked checkbox.
Have you tried the match()
or charmatch()
functions?
Example use:
match(c("A1", "A9", "A6"), myfile$Letter)
This is a slight modification to Edens answer - which for me in chrome didn't catch the error. Although you'll still get an error in the console: "Refused to display 'https://www.google.ca/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'." At least this will catch the error message and then you can deal with it.
<iframe id="myframe" src="https://google.ca"></iframe>
<script>
myframe.onload = function(){
var that = document.getElementById('myframe');
try{
(that.contentWindow||that.contentDocument).location.href;
}
catch(err){
//err:SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "http://*********" from accessing a cross-origin frame.
console.log('err:'+err);
}
}

If no From: header is specified in the e-mail headers, the MTA uses the full name of the current user, in this case "Apache". You can edit full user names in /etc/passwd
You can increment the stack depth allowed - with this, deeper recursive calls will be possible, like this:
import sys
sys.setrecursionlimit(10000) # 10000 is an example, try with different values
... But I'd advise you to first try to optimize your code, for instance, using iteration instead of recursion.
If you have desired permissions saved to string then do

This would tell you if the tomcat is running or not.
It looks like you're writing PHP, in which case you want:
<?
$arr=array('us'=>'United', 'ca'=>'canada');
$key='ca';
echo $arr[$key];
?>
Notice that the ('us'=>'United', 'ca'=>'canada')
needs to be a parameter to the array function in PHP.
Most programming languages that support associative arrays or dictionaries use arr['key']
to retrieve the item specified by 'key'
For instance:
ruby-1.9.1-p378 > h = {'us' => 'USA', 'ca' => 'Canada' }
=> {"us"=>"USA", "ca"=>"Canada"}
ruby-1.9.1-p378 > h['ca']
=> "Canada"
>>> h = {'us':'USA', 'ca':'Canada'}
>>> h['ca']
'Canada'
#
class P
{
static void Main()
{
var d = new System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string, string> { {"us", "USA"}, {"ca", "Canada"}};
System.Console.WriteLine(d["ca"]);
}
}
t = {us='USA', ca='Canada'}
print(t['ca'])
print(t.ca) -- Lua's a little different with tables
decodeURI(window.location.search)
.replace('?', '')
.split('&')
.map(param => param.split('='))
.reduce((values, [ key, value ]) => {
values[ key ] = value
return values
}, {})
You can use Process.GetProcesses()
to get the currently running processes, then Process.Kill()
to kill a process.
To create sets you can use a varargs factory method instead of double-brace initialisation:
public static Set<T> setOf(T ... elements) {
return new HashSet<T>(Arrays.asList(elements));
}
The Google Collections library has lots of convenience methods like this, as well as loads of other useful functionality.
As for the idiom's obscurity, I encounter it and use it in production code all the time. I'd be more concerned about programmers who get confused by the idiom being allowed to write production code.
Sean it works fine i've just used this code

Somehow if you want to check if the ethernet cable plugged in linux after the commend:" ifconfig eth0 down". I find a solution: use the ethtool tool.
#ethtool -t eth0
The test result is PASS
The test extra info:
Register test (offline) 0
Eeprom test (offline) 0
Interrupt test (offline) 0
Loopback test (offline) 0
Link test (on/offline) 0
if cable is connected,link test is 0,otherwise is 1.

public static final String testQuery = "select * from devices where platform_nm in (:PLATFORM_NAME)";
}
specicify binding :
public class Test extends NamedParameterJdbcDaoSupport
public List<SampleModelClass> runQuery()
{
//define rowMapper to insert in object of SampleClass
final Map<String,Object> map = new HashMap<>();
map.put("PLATFORM_LIST",DeviceDataSyncQueryConstants.platformList);
return getNamedParameterJdbcTemplate().query(SqlHelper.testQuery, map, rowMapper)

2.0.0-p195 :007 > b_date = Date.parse("10/12/2013")
=> #<Date: 2013-12-10 ((2456637j,0s,0n),+0s,2299161j)>
2.0.0-p195 :008 > a_date-b_date
=> (15/1)
Of course, casting to an int give the expected result
2.0.0-p195 :009 > (a_date-b_date).to_i
=> 15
This also works for DateTime objects, but you have to take into consideration seconds, such as this example
2.0.0-p195 :017 > a_date_time = DateTime.now
=> #<DateTime: 2013-12-31T12:23:03-08:00 ((2456658j,73383s,725757000n),-28800s,2299161j)>
2.0.0-p195 :018 > b_date_time = DateTime.now-20
=> #<DateTime: 2013-12-11T12:23:06-08:00 ((2456638j,73386s,69998000n),-28800s,2299161j)>
2.0.0-p195 :019 > a_date_time - b_date_time
=> (1727997655759/86400000000)
2.0.0-p195 :020 > (a_date_time - b_date_time).to_i
=> 19
2.0.0-p195 :021 > c_date_time = a_date_time-20
=> #<DateTime: 2013-12-11T12:23:03-08:00 ((2456638j,73383s,725757000n),-28800s,2299161j)>
2.0.0-p195 :022 > a_date_time - c_date_time
=> (20/1)
2.0.0-p195 :023 > (a_date_time - c_date_time).to_i
=> 20
Note: all of the other answers here will fail if the two vectors have either the same direction (ex, (1, 0, 0)
, (1, 0, 0)
) or opposite directions (ex, (-1, 0, 0)
, (1, 0, 0)
).
Here is a function which will correctly handle these cases:
import numpy as np
def unit_vector(vector):
""" Returns the unit vector of the vector. """
return vector / np.linalg.norm(vector)
def angle_between(v1, v2):
""" Returns the angle in radians between vectors 'v1' and 'v2'::
>>> angle_between((1, 0, 0), (0, 1, 0))
1.5707963267948966
>>> angle_between((1, 0, 0), (1, 0, 0))
0.0
>>> angle_between((1, 0, 0), (-1, 0, 0))
3.141592653589793
"""
v1_u = unit_vector(v1)
v2_u = unit_vector(v2)
return np.arccos(np.clip(np.dot(v1_u, v2_u), -1.0, 1.0))
Since Java 11 the most convenient way it to use java.net.http.HttpClient
from the standard library.
Example:
HttpRequest request = HttpRequest.newBuilder(new URI(
"https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6159118/using-java-to-pull-data-from-a-webpage"))
.timeout(Duration.of(10, SECONDS))
.GET()
.build();
HttpResponse<String> response = HttpClient.newHttpClient()
.send(request, BodyHandlers.ofString());
if (response.statusCode() != 200) {
throw new RuntimeException(
"Invalid response: " + response.statusCode() + ", request: " + response);
}
System.out.println(response.body());
This is what you wanna do:
var oldSrc = 'http://example.com/smith.gif';
var newSrc = 'http://example.com/johnson.gif';
$('img[src="' + oldSrc + '"]').attr('src', newSrc);
Functions in SQL Server, as in mathematics, can not be used to modify the database. They are intended to be read only and can help developer to implement command-query separation. In other words, asking a question should not change the answer. When your program needs to modify the database use a stored procedure instead.
There is no col-??-offset-0. All "rows" assume there is no offset unless it has been specified. I think you are wanting 3 rows on a small screen and 1 row on a medium screen.
To get the result I believe you are looking for try this:
<div class="container">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-sm-4 col-md-12">
<p>On small screen there are 3 rows, and on a medium screen 1 row</p>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-4 col-md-12">
<p>On small screen there are 3 rows, and on a medium screen 1 row</p>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-4 col-md-12">
<p>On small screen there are 3 rows, and on a medium screen 1 row</p>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Keep in mind you will only see a difference on a small tablet with what you described. Medium, large, and extra small screens the columns are spanning 12.
Hope this helps.
Since $http.get
returns a 'promise' with the extra convenience methods success
and error
(which just wrap the result of then
) you should be able to use (regardless of your Angular version):
$http.get('/someUrl')
.then(function success(response) {
console.log('succeeded', response); // supposed to have: data, status, headers, config, statusText
}, function error(response) {
console.log('failed', response); // supposed to have: data, status, headers, config, statusText
})
Not strictly an answer to the question, but if you're getting bitten by the "my version of Angular is different than the docs" issue you can always dump all of the arguments
, even if you don't know the appropriate method signature:
$http.get('/someUrl')
.success(function(data, foo, bar) {
console.log(arguments); // includes data, status, etc including unlisted ones if present
})
.error(function(baz, foo, bar, idontknow) {
console.log(arguments); // includes data, status, etc including unlisted ones if present
});
Then, based on whatever you find, you can 'fix' the function arguments to match.
It depends on your situation.
I would say, if your bool has a good name, then:
if (control.IsEnabled) // Read "If control is enabled."
{
}
would be preferred.
If, however, the variable has a not-so-obvious name, checking against true
would be helpful in understanding the logic.
if (first == true) // Read "If first is true."
{
}
You should be pointing it towards the Developer
directory, not the Xcode application bundle. Run this:
sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
With recent versions of Xcode, you can go to Xcode ? Preferences… ? Locations and pick one of the options for Command Line Tools to set the location.
one more variant, but almost the same as Gumbos solution:
var isDebug = function(){
return window.location.href.search("[?&]debug=") != -1;
};
Date date = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss").parse("2010-07-14 09:00:02");
String time = new SimpleDateFormat("H:mm").format(date);

This works:
''.join(('a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'g', 'x', 'r', 'e'))
It will produce:
'abcdgxre'
You can also use a delimiter like a comma to produce:
'a,b,c,d,g,x,r,e'
By using:
','.join(('a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'g', 'x', 'r', 'e'))

I don't know the real reason but Maven pushes developers to install all libraries (custom too) into some maven repositories, so scope:system
is not well liked, A simple workaround is to use maven-install-plugin
follow the usage:
write your dependency in this way
<dependency>
<groupId>com.mylib</groupId>
<artifactId>mylib-core</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1</version>
</dependency>
then, add maven-install-plugin
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-install-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.5.2</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>install-external</id>
<phase>clean</phase>
<configuration>
<file>${basedir}/lib/mylib-core-0.0.1.jar</file>
<repositoryLayout>default</repositoryLayout>
<groupId>com.mylib</groupId>
<artifactId>mylib-core</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1</version>
<packaging>jar</packaging>
<generatePom>true</generatePom>
</configuration>
<goals>
<goal>install-file</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
pay attention to phase:clean
, to install your custom library into your repository, you have to run mvn clean
and then mvn install
I have to set the selection style to UITableViewCellSelectionStyleDefault
for custom background color to work. If any other style, the custom background color will be ignored. Tested on iOS 8.
The full code for the cell as follows:
- (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath {
static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"MyCell";
UITableViewCell *cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier];
if (cell == nil) {
cell = [[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleDefault reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier];
}
// This is how you change the background color
cell.selectionStyle = UITableViewCellSelectionStyleDefault;
UIView *bgColorView = [[UIView alloc] init];
bgColorView.backgroundColor = [UIColor redColor];
[cell setSelectedBackgroundView:bgColorView];
return cell;
}
You can create an extremely simple jQuery-plugin to query an element for this:
$.fn.hasData = function(key) {
return (typeof $(this).data(key) != 'undefined');
};
Then you can simply use $("#dataTable").hasData('timer')
Gotchas:
false
only if the value does not exist (is undefined
); if it's set to false
/null
it hasData()
will still return true
.$.hasData()
which only checks if any data on the element is set.You can also include these attributes in the modal definition itself:
<div class="modal hide fade" data-keyboard="false" data-backdrop="static">
Actually, I found myself in a similar situation trying to take an array and parse it into XML. XML element names cannot begin with numbers -- and the code snippets I found did not correctly deal with arrays with numeric indexes.
Details on my particular situation are below
The answer provided above by @null ( http:// stackoverflow .com/a/173589/293332 ) was actually pretty darn close. I was dismayed that it got voted down tho: Those who do not understand regex lead very frustrating lives.
Anyway, based upon his answer, here is what I ended up with:
/**
* Checks if an array is associative by utilizing REGEX against the keys
* @param $arr <array> Reference to the array to be checked
* @return boolean
*/
private function isAssociativeArray( &$arr ) {
return (bool)( preg_match( '/\D/', implode( array_keys( $arr ) ) ) );
}
See the PCRE Escape Sequences and PCRE Syntax pages for further details.
Here is an example array that I am dealing with:
Case Areturn array(
"GetInventorySummary" => array(
"Filters" => array(
"Filter" => array(
array(
"FilterType" => "Shape",
"FilterValue" => "W",
),
array(
"FilterType" => "Dimensions",
"FilterValue" => "8 x 10",
),
array(
"FilterType" => "Grade",
"FilterValue" => "A992",
),
),
),
"SummaryField" => "Length",
),
);
The catch is that the filter
key is variable. For example:
return array(
"GetInventorySummary" => array(
"Filters" => array(
"Filter" => array(
"foo" => "bar",
"bar" => "foo",
),
),
"SummaryField" => "Length",
),
);
If the array I am transforming is like Case A, what I want returned is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<GetInventorySummary>
<Filters>
<Filter>
<FilterType>Shape</FilterType>
<FilterValue>W</FilterValue>
</Filter>
<Filter>
<FilterType>Dimensions</FilterType>
<FilterValue>8 x 10</FilterValue>
</Filter>
<Filter>
<FilterType>Grade</FilterType>
<FilterValue>A992</FilterValue>
</Filter>
</Filters>
<SummaryField>Length</SummaryField>
</GetInventorySummary>
... However, if the array I am transforming is like Case B, what I want returned is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<GetInventorySummary>
<Filters>
<Filter>
<foo>bar</foo>
<bar>foo</bar>
</Filter>
</Filters>
<SummaryField>Length</SummaryField>
</GetInventorySummary>
being a newbie here i can't yet directly comment but here is a small correction i'd like to add to the following part of ??O?????'s answer :
If you prefer full pathnames, then use this function:
def listdirs(folder): return [ d for d in (os.path.join(folder, d1) for d1 in os.listdir(folder)) if os.path.isdir(d) ]
for those still on python < 2.4: the inner construct needs to be a list instead of a tuple and therefore should read like this:
def listdirs(folder):
return [
d for d in [os.path.join(folder, d1) for d1 in os.listdir(folder)]
if os.path.isdir(d)
]
otherwise one gets a syntax error.
Simplest definition of the Coalesce() function could be:
Coalesce() function evaluates all passed arguments then returns the value of the first instance of the argument that did not evaluate to a NULL.
Note: it evaluates ALL parameters, i.e. does not skip evaluation of the argument(s) on the right side of the returned/NOT NULL parameter.
Syntax:
Coalesce(arg1, arg2, argN...)
Beware: Apart from the arguments that evaluate to NULL, all other (NOT-NULL) arguments must either be of same datatype or must be of matching-types (that can be "implicitly auto-converted" into a compatible datatype), see examples below:
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, ('str-'+'1'), 'x') --returns 'str-1, works as all args (excluding NULLs) are of same VARCHAR type.
--PRINT COALESCE(NULL, 'text', '3', 3) --ERROR: passed args are NOT matching type / can't be implicitly converted.
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, 3, 7.0/2, 1.99) --returns 3.0, works fine as implicit conversion into FLOAT type takes place.
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, '1995-01-31', 'str') --returns '2018-11-16', works fine as implicit conversion into VARCHAR occurs.
DECLARE @dt DATE = getdate()
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, @dt, '1995-01-31') --returns today's date, works fine as implicit conversion into DATE type occurs.
--DATE comes before VARCHAR (works):
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, @dt, 'str') --returns '2018-11-16', works fine as implicit conversion of Date into VARCHAR occurs.
--VARCHAR comes before DATE (does NOT work):
PRINT COALESCE(NULL, 'str', @dt) --ERROR: passed args are NOT matching type, can't auto-cast 'str' into Date type.

To make a child fill its parent, simply wrap it into a FittedBox
FittedBox(
child: Image.asset('foo.png'),
fit: BoxFit.fill,
)
The length function will do it. See http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/functions/length.php
I realise this is an old post, but just in case anyone else is looking, you can use Contains
by providing the case insensitive string equality comparer like so:
using System.Linq;
// ...
if (testList.Contains(keyword, StringComparer.OrdinalIgnoreCase))
{
Console.WriteLine("Keyword Exists");
}
This has been available since .net 2.0 according to msdn.
@Max: is right about the creation time.
However, if you want to calculate the elapsed days argument for one of the -atime
, -ctime
, -mtime
parameters, you can use the following expression
ELAPSED_DAYS=$(( ( $(date +%s) - $(date -d '2008-09-24' +%s) ) / 60 / 60 / 24 - 1 ))
Replace "2008-09-24" with whatever date you want and ELAPSED_DAYS will be set to the number of days between then and today. (Update: subtract one from the result to align with find
's date rounding.)
So, to find any file modified on September 24th, 2008, the command would be:
find . -type f -mtime $(( ( $(date +%s) - $(date -d '2008-09-24' +%s) ) / 60 / 60 / 24 - 1 ))
This will work if your version of find
doesn't support the -newerXY
predicates mentioned in @Arve:'s answer.
Also, change this:
SelBranchVal = SelBranchVal + "," + InvForm.SelBranch[x].value;
to
SelBranchVal = SelBranchVal + InvForm.SelBranch[x].value+ "," ;
The reason is that for the first time the variable SelBranchVal
will be empty
Take below reference to convert a JSON into POJO and vice-versa
Let's suppose your JSON schema looks like:
{
"type":"object",
"properties": {
"dataOne": {
"type": "string"
},
"dataTwo": {
"type": "integer"
},
"dataThree": {
"type": "boolean"
}
}
}
Then to covert into POJO, your need to decleare some classes as explained in below style:
==================================
package ;
public class DataOne
{
private String type;
public void setType(String type){
this.type = type;
}
public String getType(){
return this.type;
}
}
==================================
package ;
public class DataTwo
{
private String type;
public void setType(String type){
this.type = type;
}
public String getType(){
return this.type;
}
}
==================================
package ;
public class DataThree
{
private String type;
public void setType(String type){
this.type = type;
}
public String getType(){
return this.type;
}
}
==================================
package ;
public class Properties
{
private DataOne dataOne;
private DataTwo dataTwo;
private DataThree dataThree;
public void setDataOne(DataOne dataOne){
this.dataOne = dataOne;
}
public DataOne getDataOne(){
return this.dataOne;
}
public void setDataTwo(DataTwo dataTwo){
this.dataTwo = dataTwo;
}
public DataTwo getDataTwo(){
return this.dataTwo;
}
public void setDataThree(DataThree dataThree){
this.dataThree = dataThree;
}
public DataThree getDataThree(){
return this.dataThree;
}
}
==================================
package ;
public class Root
{
private String type;
private Properties properties;
public void setType(String type){
this.type = type;
}
public String getType(){
return this.type;
}
public void setProperties(Properties properties){
this.properties = properties;
}
public Properties getProperties(){
return this.properties;
}
}
I solved the problem by adding the following dependency
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.persistence</groupId>
<artifactId>persistence-api</artifactId>
<version>2.2</version>
</dependency>
Together with
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-data-jdbc</artifactId>
</dependency>
A process consists of at least one thread (think of the main function). Multi threaded code will just spawn more threads. Mutexes are used to create locks around shared resources to avoid data corruption / unexpected / unwanted behaviour. Basically it provides for sequential execution in an asynchronous setup - the requirement for which stems from non-const non-atomic operations on shared data structures.
A vivid description of what mutexes would be the case of people (threads) queueing up to visit the restroom (shared resource). While one person (thread) is using the bathroom easing him/herself (non-const non-atomic operation), he/she should ensure the door is locked (mutex), otherwise it could lead to being caught in full monty (unwanted behaviour)
EDIT : It is not bleeding edge anymore : http://blog.docker.com/2016/02/docker-1-10/
Original Answer
I battled with it the whole night.
If you're not afraid of bleeding edge, the latest version of Docker engine and Docker compose both implement libnetwork.
With the right config file (that need to be put in version 2), you will create services that will all see each other. And, bonus, you can scale them with docker-compose as well (you can scale any service you want that doesn't bind port on the host)
Here is an example file
version: "2"
services:
router:
build: services/router/
ports:
- "8080:8080"
auth:
build: services/auth/
todo:
build: services/todo/
data:
build: services/data/
And the reference for this new version of compose file: https://github.com/docker/compose/blob/1.6.0-rc1/docs/networking.md
First off, the facts:
if (booleanValue)
Will satisfy the if
statement for any truthy value of booleanValue
including true
, any non-zero number, any non-empty string value, any object or array reference, etc...
On the other hand:
if (booleanValue === true)
This will only satisfy the if
condition if booleanValue
is exactly equal to true
. No other truthy value will satisfy it.
On the other hand if you do this:
if (someVar == true)
Then, what Javascript will do is type coerce true
to match the type of someVar
and then compare the two variables. There are lots of situations where this is likely not what one would intend. Because of this, in most cases you want to avoid ==
because there's a fairly long set of rules on how Javascript will type coerce two things to be the same type and unless you understand all those rules and can anticipate everything that the JS interpreter might do when given two different types (which most JS developers cannot), you probably want to avoid ==
entirely.
As an example of how confusing it can be:
var x;_x000D_
_x000D_
x = 0;_x000D_
console.log(x == true); // false, as expected_x000D_
console.log(x == false); // true as expected_x000D_
_x000D_
x = 1;_x000D_
console.log(x == true); // true, as expected_x000D_
console.log(x == false); // false as expected_x000D_
_x000D_
x = 2;_x000D_
console.log(x == true); // false, ??_x000D_
console.log(x == false); // false
_x000D_
For the value 2
, you would think that 2
is a truthy value so it would compare favorably to true
, but that isn't how the type coercion works. It is converting the right hand value to match the type of the left hand value so its converting true
to the number 1
so it's comparing 2 == 1
which is certainly not what you likely intended.
So, buyer beware. It's likely best to avoid ==
in nearly all cases unless you explicitly know the types you will be comparing and know how all the possible types coercion algorithms work.
So, it really depends upon the expected values for booleanValue
and how you want the code to work. If you know in advance that it's only ever going to have a true
or false
value, then comparing it explicitly with
if (booleanValue === true)
is just extra code and unnecessary and
if (booleanValue)
is more compact and arguably cleaner/better.
If, on the other hand, you don't know what booleanValue
might be and you want to test if it is truly set to true
with no other automatic type conversions allowed, then
if (booleanValue === true)
is not only a good idea, but required.
For example, if you look at the implementation of .on()
in jQuery, it has an optional return value. If the callback returns false
, then jQuery will automatically stop propagation of the event. In this specific case, since jQuery wants to ONLY stop propagation if false
was returned, they check the return value explicity for === false
because they don't want undefined
or 0
or ""
or anything else that will automatically type-convert to false to also satisfy the comparison.
For example, here's the jQuery event handling callback code:
ret = ( specialHandle || handleObj.handler ).apply( matched.elem, args );
if ( ret !== undefined ) {
event.result = ret;
if ( ret === false ) {
event.preventDefault();
event.stopPropagation();
}
}
You can see that jQuery is explicitly looking for ret === false
.
But, there are also many other places in the jQuery code where a simpler check is appropriate given the desire of the code. For example:
// The DOM ready check for Internet Explorer
function doScrollCheck() {
if ( jQuery.isReady ) {
return;
}
...
LIKE
should work in sqlite:
require(sqldf)
df <- data.frame(name = c('bob','robert','peter'),id=c(1,2,3))
sqldf("select * from df where name LIKE '%er%'")
name id
1 robert 2
2 peter 3
1st: If you know that your code isn't right, you should fix it before do anything!
You could do something like this:
function validateForm() {
var radios = document.getElementsByName("yesno");
var formValid = false;
var i = 0;
while (!formValid && i < radios.length) {
if (radios[i].checked) formValid = true;
i++;
}
if (!formValid) alert("Must check some option!");
return formValid;
}?

Here's what I found at https://perldoc.perl.org/perlvar.html:
$\ The output record separator for the print operator. If defined, this value is printed after the last of print's arguments. Default is undef.
You cannot call output_record_separator() on a handle, only as a static method. See IO::Handle.
Mnemonic: you set $\ instead of adding "\n" at the end of the print. Also, it's just like $/ , but it's what you get "back" from Perl.
example:
$\ = "\n";
print "a newline will be appended to the end of this line automatically";
The ObservableCollection
and its derivatives raises its property changes internally. The code in your setter should only be triggered if you assign a new TrulyObservableCollection<MyType>
to the MyItemsSource
property. That is, it should only happen once, from the constructor.
From that point forward, you'll get property change notifications from the collection, not from the setter in your viewmodel.
This answer does not address the Debug button (you'd have to design a form and use the buttons on that to do something like the method in your next question). But it does address this part:
now I don't want to lose the comfortableness of the default handler which also point me to the exact line where the error has occured.
First, I'll assume you don't want this in production code - you want it either for debugging or for code you personally will be using. I use a compiler flag to indicate debugging; then if I'm troubleshooting a program, I can easily find the line that's causing the problem.
# Const IsDebug = True
Sub ProcA()
On Error Goto ErrorHandler
' Main code of proc
ExitHere:
On Error Resume Next
' Close objects and stuff here
Exit Sub
ErrorHandler:
MsgBox Err.Number & ": " & Err.Description, , ThisWorkbook.Name & ": ProcA"
#If IsDebug Then
Stop ' Used for troubleshooting - Then press F8 to step thru code
Resume ' Resume will take you to the line that errored out
#Else
Resume ExitHere ' Exit procedure during normal running
#End If
End Sub
Note: the exception to Resume
is if the error occurs in a sub-procedure without an error handling routine, then Resume
will take you to the line in this proc that called the sub-procedure with the error. But you can still step into and through the sub-procedure, using F8 until it errors out again. If the sub-procedure's too long to make even that tedious, then your sub-procedure should probably have its own error handling routine.
There are multiple ways to do this. Sometimes for smaller programs where I know I'm gonna be stepping through it anyway when troubleshooting, I just put these lines right after the MsgBox statement:
Resume ExitHere ' Normally exits during production
Resume ' Never will get here
Exit Sub
It will never get to the Resume statement, unless you're stepping through and set it as the next line to be executed, either by dragging the next statement pointer to that line, or by pressing CtrlF9 with the cursor on that line.
Here's an article that expands on these concepts: Five tips for handling errors in VBA. Finally, if you're using VBA and haven't discovered Chip Pearson's awesome site yet, he has a page explaining Error Handling In VBA.
For me $numberAsString -as [int]
of @Shay Levy is the best practice, I also use [type]::Parse(...)
or [type]::TryParse(...)
But, depending on what you need you can just put a string containing a number on the right of an arithmetic operator with a int on the left the result will be an Int32:
PS > $b = "10"
PS > $a = 0 + $b
PS > $a.gettype()
IsPublic IsSerial Name BaseType
-------- -------- ---- --------
True True Int32 System.ValueType
You can use Exception (try/parse) to behave in case of Problem
if you use Bootstrap 2.2.1 then maybe is this what you are looking for.

Use the substring method of the String class :
String removeCurrency=amount.getText().toString().substring(3);
The best practice is to explicitly list the columns:
Insert Into TableName(col1, col2,col2) Values(?, ?, ?)
Otherwise, your original insert will break if you add another column to your table.
Have you considered using factory functions? They usually are a much better alternative to classes or constructor functions in Javascript. Here is an example of how it works:
function car () {
var privateVariable = 4
function privateFunction () {}
return {
color: 'red',
drive: function (miles) {},
stop: function() {}
....
}
}
Thanks to closures you have access to all private functions and variabels inside the returned object, but you can not access them from outside.
You can use mysqlcheck
to do this at the command line.
One database:
mysqlcheck -o <db_schema_name>
All databases:
mysqlcheck -o --all-databases
I have used Arrays.toString(array_name).replace("[","").replace("]","").replace(", ",""); as I have seen it from some of the comments above, but also i added an additional space character after the comma (the part .replace(", ","")), because while I was printing out each value in a new line, there was still the space character shifting the words. It solved my problem.
FYI. You can now just update VS 2012:
"We have released ASP.NET and Web Tools 2013.1 for Visual Studio 2012. This release brings a ton of great improvements, and include some fantastic enhancements to ASP.NET MVC 5, Web API 2, Scaffolding and Entity Framework to users of Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2012 Express for Web."
The gradle guys are doing their best to solve all (y)our problems ;-). They recently (since 1.9) added a new feature (incubating): the "build init" plugin.
In current version of Jekyll, it defaults to http://127.0.0.1:4000/.
This is good, if you are connected to a network but do not want anyone else to access your application.
However it may happen that you want to see how your application runs on a mobile or from some other laptop/computer.
In that case, you can use
jekyll serve --host 0.0.0.0
This binds your application to the host & next use following to connect to it from some other host
http://host's IP adress/4000
The alpha can be set along with the color using the following hex format #ARGB or #AARRGGBB. See http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/color-list-resource.html
