If you don't want to install a Notepad++ plugin but you have Firefox and a JSON plugin for Firefox, you can select Run -> Launch in Firefox
. You get the contents formatted as JSON using your Firefox plugin.
This is what I personally do.
If you are the second dumbest developer on the planet (me being the dumbest), all of the above solutions seem to work: CellFormatting, DataSourceChanged, and RowPrePaint. I prefer RowPrePaint.
I struggled with this (for way too long) because I needed to override my SelectionBackColor and SelectionForeColor instead of BackColor and ForeColor as I was changing the selected row.
I got this error too.
The problem turned out to be simply that I had to manually create the full directory structure for the file locations of the MDF & LDF files.
Shame on SQL-Server for not properly reporting the missing directory!

I've used Flexcel in the past and it was great. But this was more for programmatically creating and updating excel worksheets.
Your elements need to have a position
attribute. (e.g. absolute
, relative
, fixed
) or z-index
won't work.
you can also use the full filename to your gem file:
gem install /full/path/to/your.gem
this works as well -- it's probably the easiest way
Font myFont = new Font("Serif", Font.BOLD, 12);
, then use a setFont method on your components like
JButton b = new JButton("Hello World");
b.setFont(myFont);
I was creating a form in which the user enters an email address used by another macro to email a specific cell group to the address entered. I patched together this simple code from several sites and my limited knowledge of VBA. This simply watches for one cell (In my case K22) to be updated and then kills any hyperlink in that cell.
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim KeyCells As Range
' The variable KeyCells contains the cells that will
' cause an alert when they are changed.
Set KeyCells = Range("K22")
If Not Application.Intersect(KeyCells, Range(Target.Address)) _
Is Nothing Then
Range("K22").Select
Selection.Hyperlinks.Delete
End If
End Sub
This is an old question and its been answered but I thought I'd put the --binary-files=text option here for anyone who wants to use it. The -I option ignores the binary file but if you want the grep to treat the binary file as a text file use --binary-files=text like so:
bash$ grep -i reset mediaLog*
Binary file mediaLog_dc1.txt matches
bash$ grep --binary-files=text -i reset mediaLog*
mediaLog_dc1.txt:2016-06-29 15:46:02,470 - Media [uploadChunk ,315] - ERROR - ('Connection aborted.', error(104, 'Connection reset by peer'))
mediaLog_dc1.txt:ConnectionError: ('Connection aborted.', error(104, 'Connection reset by peer'))
bash$
Just in case that the remote file needs your credential to get accessed, you can generate a System.Net.WebClient object using cmdlet New-Object to "Copy File Remotely", like so
$Source = "\\192.168.x.x\somefile.txt"
$Dest = "C:\Users\user\somefile.txt"
$Username = "username"
$Password = "password"
$WebClient = New-Object System.Net.WebClient
$WebClient.Credentials = New-Object System.Net.NetworkCredential($Username, $Password)
$WebClient.DownloadFile($Source, $Dest)
Or if you need to upload a file, you can use UploadFile:
$Dest = "\\192.168.x.x\somefile.txt"
$Source = "C:\Users\user\somefile.txt"
$WebClient.UploadFile($Dest, $Source)
It's a unicode character. In this case \u003C
and \u003E
mean :
U+003C < Less-than sign
U+003E > Greater-than sign
See a list here
It is not possible. §2.3 says that "." is an unreserved character and that "URIs that differ in the replacement of an unreserved character with its corresponding percent-encoded US-ASCII octet are equivalent". Therefore, /%2E%2E/
is the same as /../
, and that will get normalized away.
(This is a combination of an answer by bobince and a comment by slowpoison.)
.NET has two CLRs 2.0 and 4.0. CLR 2.0 works till .NET framework 3.5. CLR 4.0 works from .NET 4.0 onwards. Its possible that your solution is using a different CLR than your reference assemblies. In your local development environment, you might have both the CLRs and hence you did not faced any problem. However when you moved to deployment environments, they might have a single CLR only and you got this error.
Following Ronald Example I would like to add that it should be considered if the origin and end dates must be included or not in the days count between two dates. I faced the same problem and ended up using a third option with apply. It could be memory inefficient but helps to understand the problem:
survey <- data.frame(date=c("2012/07/26","2012/07/25"),tx_start=c("2012/01/01","2012/01/01"))
survey$diff_1 <- as.numeric(
as.Date(as.character(survey$date), format="%Y/%m/%d")-
as.Date(as.character(survey$tx_start), format="%Y/%m/%d")
)
survey$diff_2<- as.numeric(
difftime(survey$date ,survey$tx_start , units = c("days"))
)
survey$diff_3 <- apply(X = survey[,c("date", "tx_start")],
MARGIN = 1,
FUN = function(x)
length(
seq.Date(
from = as.Date(x[2]),
to = as.Date(x[1]),
by = "day")
)
)
This gives the following date differences:
date tx_start diff_1 diff_2 diff_3
1 2012/07/26 2012/01/01 207 206.9583 208
2 2012/07/25 2012/01/01 206 205.9583 207

None of these worked for me. I had to do:
this.myForm.get('myVal').setValue(val);
From the documentation:
The $.browser property is deprecated in jQuery 1.3, and its functionality may be moved to a team-supported plugin in a future release of jQuery.
So, yes, it is deprecated, but your existing implementations will continue to work. If the functionality is removed, it will likely be easily accessible using a plugin.
As to whether there is an alternative... The answer is "yes, probably". It is far, far better to do feature detection using $.support
rather than browser detection: detect the actual feature you need, not the browser that provides it. Most important features that vary from browser to browser are detected with that.
Update 16 February 2013: In jQuery 1.9, this feature was removed (docs). It is far better not to use it. If you really, really must use its functionality, you can restore it with the jQuery Migrate plugin.
I used the following in the head of mark down file
<script type="text/javascript" async
src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/mathjax/2.7.2/MathJax.js?
config=TeX-MML-AM_CHTML"
</script>
Then typed the following mathjax statement
$$x_{1,2} = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2b}.$$
It worked for me
Less no longer evaluates expression inside calc
by default since v3.00
.
Original answer (Less v1.x...2.x
):
Do this:
body { width: calc(~"100% - 250px - 1.5em"); }
In Less 1.4.0 we will have a strictMaths
option which requires all Less calculations to be within brackets, so the calc
will work "out-of-the-box". This is an option since it is a major breaking change. Early betas of 1.4.0 had this option on by default. The release version has it off by default.
Why not create an extension method? That's more readable.
public static IEnumerable<FileInfo> GetFilesByExtensions(this DirectoryInfo dir, params string[] extensions)
{
if (extensions == null)
throw new ArgumentNullException("extensions");
IEnumerable<FileInfo> files = Enumerable.Empty<FileInfo>();
foreach(string ext in extensions)
{
files = files.Concat(dir.GetFiles(ext));
}
return files;
}
EDIT: a more efficient version:
public static IEnumerable<FileInfo> GetFilesByExtensions(this DirectoryInfo dir, params string[] extensions)
{
if (extensions == null)
throw new ArgumentNullException("extensions");
IEnumerable<FileInfo> files = dir.EnumerateFiles();
return files.Where(f => extensions.Contains(f.Extension));
}
Usage:
DirectoryInfo dInfo = new DirectoryInfo(@"c:\MyDir");
dInfo.GetFilesByExtensions(".jpg",".exe",".gif");
No unfortunately there is not. At the raw level files do not work on a line number basis. Instead they work at a position / offset basis. The root filesystem has no concept of lines. It's a concept added by higher level components.
So there is no way to tell the operating system, please open file at line blah. Instead you have to open the file and skip around counting new lines until you've passed the specified number. Then store the next set of bytes into an array until you hit the next new line.
This should help:
using System.IO;
...
string path = @"C:\MP_Upload";
if(!Directory.Exists(path))
{
Directory.CreateDirectory(path);
}
Nc is a link to nmap-ncat.
It would be nice to use nmap-ncat in your puppet, because NC is a virtual name of nmap-ncat.
Puppet cannot understand the links/virtualnames
your puppet should be:
package {
'nmap-ncat':
ensure => installed;
}
$query = mysqli_query('SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM information_schema.TABLES WHERE TABLE_NAME IN ("table1","table2","table3") AND TABLE_SCHEMA="yourschema"');
$tablesExists = array();
while( null!==($row=mysqli_fetch_row($query)) ){
$tablesExists[] = $row[0];
}
If you're using SQL Server 2005 or above, you can use the windowing function SUM() OVER ()
.
case
when test1.TotalType = 'Average' then Test2.avgscore
when test1.TotalType = 'PercentOfTot' then (cnt/SUM(test1.qrank) over ())
else cnt
end as displayscore
But it'll be better if you show your full query to get context of what you actually need.
Fully working solution based on answer by Jan Turon - behaves like getEventListeners()
from console:
(There is a little bug with duplicates. It doesn't break much anyway.)
(function() {
Element.prototype._addEventListener = Element.prototype.addEventListener;
Element.prototype.addEventListener = function(a,b,c) {
if(c==undefined)
c=false;
this._addEventListener(a,b,c);
if(!this.eventListenerList)
this.eventListenerList = {};
if(!this.eventListenerList[a])
this.eventListenerList[a] = [];
//this.removeEventListener(a,b,c); // TODO - handle duplicates..
this.eventListenerList[a].push({listener:b,useCapture:c});
};
Element.prototype.getEventListeners = function(a){
if(!this.eventListenerList)
this.eventListenerList = {};
if(a==undefined)
return this.eventListenerList;
return this.eventListenerList[a];
};
Element.prototype.clearEventListeners = function(a){
if(!this.eventListenerList)
this.eventListenerList = {};
if(a==undefined){
for(var x in (this.getEventListeners())) this.clearEventListeners(x);
return;
}
var el = this.getEventListeners(a);
if(el==undefined)
return;
for(var i = el.length - 1; i >= 0; --i) {
var ev = el[i];
this.removeEventListener(a, ev.listener, ev.useCapture);
}
};
Element.prototype._removeEventListener = Element.prototype.removeEventListener;
Element.prototype.removeEventListener = function(a,b,c) {
if(c==undefined)
c=false;
this._removeEventListener(a,b,c);
if(!this.eventListenerList)
this.eventListenerList = {};
if(!this.eventListenerList[a])
this.eventListenerList[a] = [];
// Find the event in the list
for(var i=0;i<this.eventListenerList[a].length;i++){
if(this.eventListenerList[a][i].listener==b, this.eventListenerList[a][i].useCapture==c){ // Hmm..
this.eventListenerList[a].splice(i, 1);
break;
}
}
if(this.eventListenerList[a].length==0)
delete this.eventListenerList[a];
};
})();
Usage:
someElement.getEventListeners([name])
- return list of event listeners, if name is set return array of listeners for that event
someElement.clearEventListeners([name])
- remove all event listeners, if name is set only remove listeners for that event
I faced this problem after i kept my emulator ON while going from my home to a cafe. "Cold Boot Now" fixed the issue.
A few of the other answers recommend merging/committing within the submodule's directory, which IMO can become a little messy.
Assuming the remote server is named origin
and we want the master
branch of the submodule(s), I tend to use:
git submodule foreach "git fetch && git reset --hard origin/master"
Note: This will perform a hard reset on each submodule -- if you don't want this, you can change --hard
to --soft
.
Note that another approach is to keep with the 4.0 validation behaviour, but to define your own class that derives from RequestValidator
and set:
<httpRuntime requestValidationType="YourNamespace.YourValidator" />
(where YourNamespace.YourValidator
is well, you should be able to guess...)
This way you keep the advantages of 4.0s behaviour (specifically, that the validation happens earlier in the processing), while also allowing the requests you need to let through, through.
http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/clibrary/cstdio/printf/
the same rules should apply to Java.
in your case it means output of integer values in 2 or more digits, the first being zero if number less than or equal to 9
You can easily do this one. In each column you will get a class with the field name prefixed with mat-column, so the class will be like mat-column-yourFieldName. So for that you can set the style like following
.mat-column-yourFieldName {
flex: none;
width: 100px;
}
So we can give fixed width for column as per our requirement.
Hope this helps for someone.
We can merge two collection by using mongoDB sub query. Here is example, Commentss--
`db.commentss.insert([
{ uid:12345, pid:444, comment:"blah" },
{ uid:12345, pid:888, comment:"asdf" },
{ uid:99999, pid:444, comment:"qwer" }])`
Userss--
db.userss.insert([
{ uid:12345, name:"john" },
{ uid:99999, name:"mia" }])
MongoDB sub query for JOIN--
`db.commentss.find().forEach(
function (newComments) {
newComments.userss = db.userss.find( { "uid": newComments.uid } ).toArray();
db.newCommentUsers.insert(newComments);
}
);`
Get result from newly generated Collection--
db.newCommentUsers.find().pretty()
Result--
`{
"_id" : ObjectId("5511236e29709afa03f226ef"),
"uid" : 12345,
"pid" : 444,
"comment" : "blah",
"userss" : [
{
"_id" : ObjectId("5511238129709afa03f226f2"),
"uid" : 12345,

]
}
{

"comment" : "asdf",
"userss" : [
{
"_id" : ObjectId("5511238129709afa03f226f2"),
"uid" : 12345,
"name" : "john"
}
]
}
{
"_id" : ObjectId("5511236e29709afa03f226f1"),
"uid" : 99999,

}
]
}`
Hope so this will help.
I've used:
pg_restore -c -d database_name filename.dump
XSD defines a schema which is a definition of how an XML document can be structured. You can use it to check that a given XML document is valid and follows the rules you've laid out in the schema.
WSDL is a XML document that describes a web service. It shows which operations are available and how data should be structured to send to those operations.
WSDL documents have an associated XSD that show what is valid to put in a WSDL document.
Another way to throw an exceptions is assert
. You can use assert to verify a condition is being fulfilled if not then it will raise AssertionError
. For more details have a look here.
def avg(marks):
assert len(marks) != 0,"List is empty."
return sum(marks)/len(marks)

mark1 = []
print("Average of mark1:",avg(mark1))
Tested this on a CentOS VMWare image that I keep around for this sort of thing. Note that you probably want to avoid putting passwords as command-line arguments, because anybody on the entire machine can read them out of 'ps -ef'.
That said, this will work:
user="$1"
password="$2"
adduser $user
echo $password | passwd --stdin $user
I was porting one application from Visual C to gcc over Linux and I had the same problem with
malloc.c:3096: sYSMALLOc: Assertion using gcc on UBUNTU 11.
I moved the same code to a Suse distribution (on other computer ) and I don't have any problem.
I suspect that the problems are not in our programs but in the own libc.
Thankfully, with C++11 there is also the more pleasing approach of using raw string literals.
printf("She said \"time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana\".");
Becomes:
printf(R"(She said "time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana".)");
With respect to the addition of brackets after the opening quote, and before the closing quote, note that they can be almost any combination of up to 16 characters, helping avoid the situation where the combination is present in the string itself. Specifically:
any member of the basic source character set except: space, the left parenthesis (, the right parenthesis ), the backslash , and the control characters representing horizontal tab, vertical tab, form feed, and newline" (N3936 §2.14.5 [lex.string] grammar) and "at most 16 characters" (§2.14.5/2)
How much clearer it makes this short strings might be debatable, but when used on longer formatted strings like HTML or JSON, it's unquestionably far clearer.
I tried your code, you didn't assign/bind a value to your formControlName.
In HTML file:
<form [formGroup]="form">
<label>
<input type="radio" value="Male" formControlName="gender">
<span>male</span>
</label>
<label>
<input type="radio" value="Female" formControlName="gender">
<span>female</span>
</label>
</form>
In the TS file:
form: FormGroup;
constructor(fb: FormBuilder) {
this.name = 'Angular2'
this.form = fb.group({
gender: ['', Validators.required]
});
}
Make sure you use Reactive form properly: [formGroup]="form"
and you don't need the name attribute.
In my sample. words male
and female
in span tags are the values display along the radio button and Male
and Female
values are bind to formControlName
To make it shorter:
<form [formGroup]="form">
<input type="radio" value='Male' formControlName="gender" >Male
<input type="radio" value='Female' formControlName="gender">Female
</form>
Hope it helps:)
You can also do:
Integer a = '1182-2'.split('-')[0] as Integer
Integer b = '1182-2'.split('-')[1] as Integer
//a=1182 b=2
A very simple way to count the columns of the first line in pure bash (no awk, perl, or other languages):
read -r line < $input_file
ncols=`echo $line | wc -w`
This will work if your data are formatted appropriately.
Well if you are doing this in Asp.Net or have access to HttpContext.Current.Request I'd say these are easier and more general ways of getting them:
var scheme = Request.Url.Scheme; // will get http, https, etc.
var host = Request.Url.Host; // will get www.mywebsite.com
var port = Request.Url.Port; // will get the port
var path = Request.Url.AbsolutePath; // should get the /pages/page1.aspx part, can't remember if it only get pages/page1.aspx
I hope this helps. :)
You do not define a binding in your service's config, so you are getting the default values for wsHttpBinding
, and the default value for securityMode\transport
for that binding is Message
.
Try copying your binding configuration from the client's config to your service config and assign that binding to the endpoint via the bindingConfiguration
attribute:
<bindings>
<wsHttpBinding>
<binding name="ota2010AEndpoint"
.......>
<readerQuotas maxDepth="32" ... />
<reliableSession ordered="true" .... />
<security mode="Transport">
<transport clientCredentialType="None" proxyCredentialType="None"
realm="" />
<message clientCredentialType="Windows" negotiateServiceCredential="true"
establishSecurityContext="true" />
</security>
</binding>
</wsHttpBinding>
</bindings>
(Snipped parts of the config to save space in the answer).
<service name="Synxis" behaviorConfiguration="SynxisWCF">
<endpoint address="" name="wsHttpEndpoint"
binding="wsHttpBinding"
bindingConfiguration="ota2010AEndpoint"
contract="Synxis" />
This will then assign your defined binding (with Transport security) to the endpoint.
Yes, this is confusing...
According to this blog post, it looks like this is an omission from WPF.
To make it work you need to use a style:
<Border Name="ClearButtonBorder" Grid.Column="1" CornerRadius="0,3,3,0">
<Border.Style>
<Style>
<Setter Property="Border.Background" Value="Blue"/>
<Style.Triggers>
<Trigger Property="Border.IsMouseOver" Value="True">
<Setter Property="Border.Background" Value="Green" />
</Trigger>
</Style.Triggers>
</Style>
</Border.Style>
<TextBlock HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" Text="X" />
</Border>
I guess this problem isn't that common as most people tend to factor out this sort of thing into a style, so it can be used on multiple controls.
This react & redux example is based off Mohamed Mellouki's example. But validates using prettify and linting rules. Note that we define our props and dispatch methods using PropTypes so that our compiler doesn't scream at us. This example also included some lines of code that had been missing in Mohamed's example. To use connect you will need to import it from react-redux. This example also binds the method filterItems this will prevent scope problems in the component. This source code has been auto formatted using JavaScript Prettify.
import React, { Component } from 'react-native';
import { connect } from 'react-redux';
import PropTypes from 'prop-types';
class ItemsContainer extends Component {
constructor(props) {
super(props);
const { items, filters } = props;
this.state = {
items,
filteredItems: filterItems(items, filters),
};
this.filterItems = this.filterItems.bind(this);
}
componentWillReceiveProps(nextProps) {
const { itmes } = this.state;
const { filters } = nextProps;
this.setState({ filteredItems: filterItems(items, filters) });
}
filterItems = (items, filters) => {
/* return filtered list */
};
render() {
return <View>/*display the filtered items */</View>;
}
}
/*
define dispatch methods in propTypes so that they are validated.
*/
ItemsContainer.propTypes = {
items: PropTypes.array.isRequired,
filters: PropTypes.array.isRequired,
onMyAction: PropTypes.func.isRequired,
};
/*
map state to props
*/
const mapStateToProps = state => ({
items: state.App.Items.List,
filters: state.App.Items.Filters,
});
/*
connect dispatch to props so that you can call the methods from the active props scope.
The defined method `onMyAction` can be called in the scope of the componets props.
*/
const mapDispatchToProps = dispatch => ({
onMyAction: value => {
dispatch(() => console.log(`${value}`));
},
});
/* clean way of setting up the connect. */
export default connect(mapStateToProps, mapDispatchToProps)(ItemsContainer);
This example code is a good template for a starting place for your component.
The numpy.where
function is your friend. Because it's implemented to take full advantage of the array datatype, for large images you should notice a speed improvement over the pure python solution you provide.
Using numpy.where directly will yield a boolean mask indicating whether certain values match your conditions:
>>> data
array([[1, 8],
[3, 4]])
>>> numpy.where( data > 3 )
(array([0, 1]), array([1, 1]))
And the mask can be used to index the array directly to get the actual values:
>>> data[ numpy.where( data > 3 ) ]
array([8, 4])
Exactly where you take it from there will depend on what form you'd like the results in.
I have modified paercebal's method to meet my needs:
typedef std::string String;
bool isInt(const String& s, int base){
if(s.empty() || std::isspace(s[0])) return false ;
char * p ;
strtol(s.c_str(), &p, base) ;
return (*p == 0) ;
}
bool isPositiveInt(const String& s, int base){
if(s.empty() || std::isspace(s[0]) || s[0]=='-') return false ;
char * p ;
strtol(s.c_str(), &p, base) ;
return (*p == 0) ;
}
bool isNegativeInt(const String& s, int base){
if(s.empty() || std::isspace(s[0]) || s[0]!='-') return false ;
char * p ;
strtol(s.c_str(), &p, base) ;
return (*p == 0) ;
}
Note:
1
, negative value or value >36
as base.0
as the base, it will auto detect the base i.e for a string starting with 0x
will be treated as hex and string starting with 0
will be treated as oct. The characters are case-insensitive.Instead of breaking it down into individual fields, it's easier to generate a random block of data and change the individual byte positions. You should also use a better random number generator than mt_rand().
According to RFC 4122 - Section 4.4, you need to change these fields:
time_hi_and_version
(bits 4-7 of 7th octet),clock_seq_hi_and_reserved
(bit 6 & 7 of 9th octet)All of the other 122 bits should be sufficiently random.
The following approach generates 128 bits of random data using openssl_random_pseudo_bytes()
, makes the permutations on the octets and then uses bin2hex()
and vsprintf()
to do the final formatting.
function guidv4($data)
{
assert(strlen($data) == 16);
$data[6] = chr(ord($data[6]) & 0x0f | 0x40); // set version to 0100
$data[8] = chr(ord($data[8]) & 0x3f | 0x80); // set bits 6-7 to 10
return vsprintf('%s%s-%s-%s-%s-%s%s%s', str_split(bin2hex($data), 4));
}
echo guidv4(openssl_random_pseudo_bytes(16));
With PHP 7, generating random byte sequences is even simpler using random_bytes()
:
function guidv4($data = null)
{
$data = $data ?? random_bytes(16);
// ...
}
So that its value can easily contain quotes and <> characters and respect whitespace and newlines.
The following HTML code successfully pass the w3c validator and displays <,> and & without the need to encode them. It also respects the white spaces.
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8" />
<title>Yes I can</title>

<textarea name="test">
I can put < and > and & signs in
my textarea without any problems.
</textarea>
</body>
</html>
textarea {
width: 700px;
height: 100px;
resize: none; }
assign your required width and height for the textarea and then use. resize: none ; css property which will disable the textarea's stretchable property.

I'd fought with this a long time $('#myelement').val(x)
just wasn't working ... until I realized the #
construction requires an ID, not a NAME. So if ".val(x)
doesn't work!" is your problem, check your element and be sure it has an ID!
It's an embarrassing gotcha, but I felt I had to share to save others much hair-tearing.

Instead of <a href="/some/action?foo=bar">

Use conditional formatting.
You can enter a condition using any cell you like and a format to apply if the formula is true.
Apple introduced the topLayoutGuide and bottomLayoutGuide as properties of UIViewController way back in iOS 7. They allowed you to create constraints to keep your content from being hidden by UIKit bars like the status, navigation or tab bar. These layout guides are deprecated in iOS 11 and replaced by a single safe area layout guide.

Complete snippet would look like the following. It expands @mouad's answer to asserting on error's message (or generally str
representation of its args
), which may be useful.
from unittest import TestCase
class TestNoneTypeError(TestCase):
def setUp(self):
self.testListNone = None
def testListSlicing(self):
with self.assertRaises(TypeError) as ctx:
self.testListNone[:1]
self.assertEqual("'NoneType' object is not subscriptable", str(ctx.exception))
I cannot quickly reproduce the symptoms: if I try myscript '"test"'
with a batch file myscript.bat
containing just @echo.%1
or even @echo.%~1
, I get all quotes: '"test"'
Perhaps you can try the escape character ^
like this: myscript '^"test^"'
?
As already stated, enum instances should be uppercase according to the docs on the Oracle website (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/java/javaOO/enum.html).
However, while looking through a JavaEE7 tutorial on the Oracle website (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/downloads/index.html), I stumbled across the "Duke's bookstore" tutorial and in a class (tutorial\examples\case-studies\dukes-bookstore\src\main\java\javaeetutorial\dukesbookstore\components\AreaComponent.java
), I found the following enum definition:
private enum PropertyKeys {
alt, coords, shape, targetImage;
}
According to the conventions, it should have looked like:
public enum PropertyKeys {
ALT("alt"), COORDS("coords"), SHAPE("shape"), TARGET_IMAGE("targetImage");
private final String val;
private PropertyKeys(String val) {
this.val = val;
}
@Override
public String toString() {
return val;
}
}
So it seems even the guys at Oracle sometimes trade convention with convenience.
private void Initialize()
{
server = "localhost";
database = "connectcsharptomysql";
uid = "username";
password = "password";
string connectionString;
connectionString = "SERVER=" + server + ";" + "DATABASE=" +
database + ";" + "U`enter code here`ID=" + uid + ";" + "PASSWORD=" + password + ";";
connection = new MySqlConnection(connectionString);
}
Sometimes the execution runs first time, and when we do maven clean install it doesn't generate after that. The issue was using true for skipMain and skip properties under maven-compiler-plugin of the main pom File. Remove them if they were introduced as a part of any issue or suggestion.
generateNumbers()
expects a parameter and you aren't passing one in!
generateNumbers() also returns after it has set the first random number - seems to be some confusion about what it is trying to do.
The C++ standard guarantees the following:
static_cast
ing a pointer to and from void*
preserves the address. That is, in the following, a
, b
and c
all point to the same address:
int* a = new int();
void* b = static_cast<void*>(a);
int* c = static_cast<int*>(b);
reinterpret_cast
only guarantees that if you cast a pointer to a different type, and then reinterpret_cast
it back to the original type, you get the original value. So in the following:
int* a = new int();
void* b = reinterpret_cast<void*>(a);
int* c = reinterpret_cast<int*>(b);
a
and c
contain the same value, but the value of b
is unspecified. (in practice it will typically contain the same address as a
and c
, but that's not specified in the standard, and it may not be true on machines with more complex memory systems.)
For casting to and from void*
, static_cast
should be preferred.
Try this :
$obj = @{
SomeProp = "Hello"
}
Write-Host "Property Value is $($obj."SomeProp")"
In order to insert the text from activity2 to activity1, you first need to create a visit function in activity2.
public void visitactivity1()
{
Intent i = new Intent(this, activity1.class);
i.putExtra("key", message);
startActivity(i);
}
After creating this function, you need to call it from your onCreate() function of activity2:
visitactivity1();
Next, go on to the activity1 Java file. In its onCreate() function, create a Bundle object, fetch the earlier message via its key through this object, and store it in a String.
Bundle b = getIntent().getExtras();
String message = b.getString("key", ""); // the blank String in the second parameter is the default value of this variable. In case the value from previous activity fails to be obtained, the app won't crash: instead, it'll go with the default value of an empty string
Now put this element in a TextView or EditText, or whichever layout element you prefer using the setText() function.
If you are using eGit in Eclipse:
I came here looking for a quick way to check if a variable has any content in it. None of the answers here provided a full solution, so here it is:
It's enough to check if the input is ''
or null
, because:
Request URL .../test.php?var=
results in $_GET['var'] = ''
Request URL .../test.php
results in $_GET['var'] = null
isset()
returns false
only when the variable exists and is not set to null
, so if you use it you'll get true
for empty strings (''
).
empty()
considers both null
and ''
empty, but it also considers '0'
empty, which is a problem in some use cases.
If you want to treat '0'
as empty, then use empty()
. Otherwise use the following check:
$var .'' !== ''
evaluates to false
only for the following inputs:
''
null
false
I use the following check to also filter out strings with only spaces and line breaks:
function hasContent($var){
return trim($var .'') !== '';
}
In PostgreSQL the system determines which table is meant by following a search path, which is a list of schemas to look in.
The first matching table in the search path is taken to be the one wanted, otherwise, if there is no match a error is raised, even if matching table names exist in other schemas in the database.
To show the current search path you can use the following command:
SHOW search_path;
And to put the new schema in the path, you could use:
SET search_path TO myschema;
Or if you want multiple schemas:
SET search_path TO myschema, public;
Reference: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/ddl-schemas.html
Also you can use apache commons lib DateUtils.truncate()
:
Date now = new Date();
Date truncated = DateUtils.truncate(now, Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH);
Time will be set to 00:00:00
so you can work with this date or print it formatted:
DateFormat dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss");
System.out.println(dateFormat.format(now); // 2010-05-11 11:32:47
System.out.println(dateFormat.format(truncated); // 2010-05-11 00:00:00
Export it into some text format. The easiest will probably be a tab-delimited version, but CSV can work as well.
Use the load data capability. See http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/load-data.html
Look half way down the page, as it will gives a good example for tab separated data:
FIELDS TERMINATED BY '\t' ENCLOSED BY '' ESCAPED BY '\'
Check your data. Sometimes quoting or escaping has problems, and you need to adjust your source, import command-- or it may just be easier to post-process via SQL.

Byte is not a standard type in C/C++, so it is represented by char
.
An advantage of this is that you can treat a basic_string
as a byte array allowing for safe storage and function passing. This will help you avoid the memory leaks and segmentation faults you might encounter when using the various forms of char[]
and char*
.
For example, this creates a string as a byte array of null values:
typedef basic_string<unsigned char> u_string;
u_string bytes = u_string(16,'\0');
This allows for standard bitwise operations with other char
values, including those stored in other string
variables. For example, to XOR the char
values of another u_string
across bytes
:
u_string otherBytes = "some more chars, which are just bytes";
for(int i = 0; i < otherBytes.length(); i++)
bytes[i%16] ^= (int)otherBytes[i];

address perms offset dev inode pathname
00400000-00452000 r-xp 00000000 08:02 173521 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon
The address field is the address space in the process that the mapping occupies.
The perms field is a set of permissions:
r = read
w = write
x = execute
s = shared
p = private (copy on write)
The offset field is the offset into the file/whatever;
dev is the device (major:minor);
inode is the inode on that device.0 indicates that no inode is associated with the memoryregion, as would be the case with BSS (uninitialized data).
The pathname field will usually be the file that is backing the mapping. For ELF files, you can easily coordinate with the offset field by looking at the Offset field in the ELF program headers (readelf -l).
Under Linux 2.0, there is no field giving pathname.
Suppose you want to GET a webpage's content. The following code does it:
# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-
# python
# example of getting a web page
from urllib import urlopen
print urlopen("http://xahlee.info/python/python_index.html").read()
I think much confusion is generated by not communicating what is meant by passed by reference. When some people say pass by reference they usually mean not the argument itself, but rather the object being referenced. Some other say that pass by reference means that the object can't be changed in the callee. Example:
struct Object {
int i;
};
void sample(Object* o) { // 1
o->i++;
}
void sample(Object const& o) { // 2
// nothing useful here :)
}
void sample(Object & o) { // 3
o.i++;
}
void sample1(Object o) { // 4
o.i++;
}
int main() {
Object obj = { 10 };
Object const obj_c = { 10 };
sample(&obj); // calls 1
sample(obj) // calls 3
sample(obj_c); // calls 2
sample1(obj); // calls 4
}
Some people would claim that 1 and 3 are pass by reference, while 2 would be pass by value. Another group of people say all but the last is pass by reference, because the object itself is not copied.
I would like to draw a definition of that here what i claim to be pass by reference. A general overview over it can be found here: Difference between pass by reference and pass by value. The first and last are pass by value, and the middle two are pass by reference:
sample(&obj);
// yields a `Object*`. Passes a *pointer* to the object by value.
// The caller can change the pointer (the parameter), but that
// won't change the temporary pointer created on the call side (the argument).
sample(obj)
// passes the object by *reference*. It denotes the object itself. The callee
// has got a reference parameter.
sample(obj_c);
// also passes *by reference*. the reference parameter references the
// same object like the argument expression.
sample1(obj);
// pass by value. The parameter object denotes a different object than the
// one passed in.
I vote for the following definition:
An argument (1.3.1) is passed by reference if and only if the corresponding parameter of the function that's called has reference type and the reference parameter binds directly to the argument expression (8.5.3/4). In all other cases, we have to do with pass by value.
That means that the following is pass by value:
void f1(Object const& o);
f1(Object()); // 1
void f2(int const& i);
f2(42); // 2
void f3(Object o);
f3(Object()); // 3
Object o1; f3(o1); // 4
void f4(Object *o);
Object o1; f4(&o1); // 5
1
is pass by value, because it's not directly bound. The implementation may copy the temporary and then bind that temporary to the reference. 2
is pass by value, because the implementation initializes a temporary of the literal and then binds to the reference. 3
is pass by value, because the parameter has not reference type. 4
is pass by value for the same reason. 5
is pass by value because the parameter has not got reference type. The following cases are pass by reference (by the rules of 8.5.3/4 and others):
void f1(Object *& op);
Object a; Object *op1 = &a; f1(op1); // 1
void f2(Object const& op);
Object b; f2(b); // 2
struct A { };
struct B { operator A&() { static A a; return a; } };
void f3(A &);
B b; f3(b); // passes the static a by reference
Make a timer, that activates whatever code you want to when it ticks. Make sure the first line in the timer's code is:

timer.enabled = true

For python2, It's better to use e.message
to get the exception message, this will avoid possible UnicodeDecodeError
. But yes e.message
will be empty for some kind of exceptions like OSError
, in which case we can add a exc_info=True
to our logging function to not miss the error.
For python3, I think it's safe to use str(e)
.
There’s also SenTestingKitAsync that lets you write code like this:
- (void)testAdditionAsync {
[Calculator add:2 to:2 block^(int result) {
STAssertEquals(result, 4, nil);
STSuccess();
}];
STFailAfter(2.0, @"Timeout");
}
(See objc.io article for details.) And since Xcode 6 there’s an AsynchronousTesting
category on XCTest
that lets you write code like this:
XCTestExpectation *somethingHappened = [self expectationWithDescription:@"something happened"];
[testedObject doSomethigAsyncWithCompletion:^(BOOL succeeded, NSError *error) {
[somethingHappened fulfill];
}];
[self waitForExpectationsWithTimeout:1 handler:NULL];

This can be done in two ways.
JLabel Horizontal Alignment
You can use the JLabel
constructor:
JLabel(String text, int horizontalAlignment)
To align to the right:
JLabel label = new JLabel("Telephone", SwingConstants.RIGHT);
JLabel
also has setHorizontalAlignment
:
label.setHorizontalAlignment(SwingConstants.RIGHT);
This assumes the component takes up the whole width in the container.
Using Layout
A different approach is to use the layout to actually align the component to the right, whilst ensuring they do not take the whole width. Here is an example with BoxLayout
:
Box box = Box.createVerticalBox();
JLabel label1 = new JLabel("test1, the beginning");
label1.setAlignmentX(Component.RIGHT_ALIGNMENT);
box.add(label1);
JLabel label2 = new JLabel("test2, some more");
label2.setAlignmentX(Component.RIGHT_ALIGNMENT);
box.add(label2);
JLabel label3 = new JLabel("test3");
label3.setAlignmentX(Component.RIGHT_ALIGNMENT);
box.add(label3);
add(box);
I had the same problem, and the cause was the missing of commons-logging-1.2.jar
I add it to the lib
folder, then my Apache Tomcat 7 server executed without problems.
Jinja 2.6 does not have the map function. So an alternate way of doing this would be:
set_fact: foo="{% for i in bar_result.results %}{{ i.ansible_facts.foo_item }}{%endfor%}"
Well, it's clearly not a number since it has dashes in it. The error message and the two comments tell you that it is a factor but the commentators are apparently waiting and letting the message sink in. Dirk is suggesting that you do this:
EPL2011_12$Date2 <- as.Date( as.character(EPL2011_12$Date), "%d-%m-%y")
After that you can do this:
EPL2011_12FirstHalf <- subset(EPL2011_12, Date2 > as.Date("2012-01-13") )
R date functions assume the format is either "YYYY-MM-DD" or "YYYY/MM/DD". You do need to compare like classes: date to date, or character to character.
I think what you're trying to do is wrap loooooooooooooong words or URLs so they don't push the size of the table out. (I've just been trying to do the same thing!)
You can do this easily with a DIV by giving it the style word-wrap: break-word
(and you may need to set its width, too).
div {
word-wrap: break-word; /* All browsers since IE 5.5+ */
overflow-wrap: break-word; /* Renamed property in CSS3 draft spec */
width: 100%;
}
However, for tables, you must either wrap the content in a DIV (or other block tag) or apply: table-layout: fixed
. This means the columns widths are no longer fluid, but are defined based on the widths of the columns in the first row only (or via specified widths). Read more here.
Sample code:
table {
table-layout: fixed;
width: 100%;
}
table td {
word-wrap: break-word; /* All browsers since IE 5.5+ */
overflow-wrap: break-word; /* Renamed property in CSS3 draft spec */
}
Hope that helps somebody.

Ok, I recently met the same issue too while working on a WordPress
installation using apache2
on the server on Ubuntu 20.04
.
I experienced this issue when I changed file ownership to another user:
Here's what worked for me:
$ sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/YOUR-DIRECTORY
Here's a bit more context into the issue:
The above command gives ownership of all the files [in that folder] to the www-data user and group. This is the user that the Apache web server runs as, and Apache will need to be able to read and write WordPress
files in order to serve the website and perform automatic updates.
Be sure to point to your server’s relevant directory (replace YOUR-DIRECTORY
with your actual folder).
You could run through this insightful article on digitalocean.
Have a go with this, as this is how I would do it :)

EDIT: Demo: https://no-mobile-zoom.stackblitz.io
You can add 3 extra rows so when the user scroll back to the top, the div will stick on its old place:
Here is the code:
if ($(this).scrollTop() < 200 && $el.css('position') == 'fixed'){
$('.fixedElement').css({'position': 'relative', 'top': '200px'});
}

To send javascript obj to php using json and ajax:

var dataString = JSON.stringify(dataPost);
$.ajax({

timestamp
(or date
or time
columns) do NOT have "a format".
Any formatting you see is applied by the SQL client you are using.
To insert the current time use current_timestamp
as documented in the manual:
INSERT into "Group" (name,createddate)
VALUES ('Test', current_timestamp);
To display that value in a different format change the configuration of your SQL client or format the value when SELECTing the data:
select name, to_char(createddate, ''yyyymmdd hh:mi:ss tt') as created_date
from "Group"
For psql
(the default command line client) you can configure the display format through the configuration parameter DateStyle
: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/runtime-config-client.html#GUC-DATESTYLE
It will also work with display:table - a useful display property in this case because it doesn't require a width to be set. (I know this post is 5 years old, but it's still relevant to passers-by ;)
using the Reflections library, it's easy as:
Reflections reflections = new Reflections("my.pkg", new SubTypesScanner(false));
That would scan all classes in the url/s that contains my.pkg package.
So, getting all classes is effectively getting all subtypes of Object, transitively:
Set<String> allClasses =
reflections.getStore().getSubTypesOf(Object.class.getName());
(The ordinary way reflections.getSubTypesOf(Object.class)
would cause loading all classes into PermGen and would probably throw OutOfMemoryError. you don't want to do it...)
If you want to get all direct subtypes of Object (or any other type), without getting its transitive subtypes all in once, use this:
Collection<String> directSubtypes =
reflections.getStore().get(SubTypesScanner.class).get(Object.class.getName());

For those who stumble upon this question, here's how to achieve this layout with a Grid
:
<Grid>
<TextBlock Text="Server:"/>
<TextBlock Text="http://127.0.0.1" HorizontalAlignment="Right"/>
</Grid>
creates
Server: http://127.0.0.1
All the answers here discuss about onclick method, however you can also use addEventListener().
Syntax of addEventListener()
document.getElementById('button').addEventListener("click",{function defination});
The function defination above is known as anonymous function.
If you don't want to use anonymous functions you can also use function refrence.
function functionName(){
//function defination
}
document.getElementById('button').addEventListener("click",functionName);
You can check the detail differences between onclick() and addEventListener() in this answer here.
This code works too. Put this on the root controller of the navigation controller:
self.navigationItem.backBarButtonItem = [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"" style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:nil action:nil];
From a related SO question: Format a number with commas but without decimals in SQL Server 2008 R2?

This was tested in SQL Server 2008 R2.
It is possible that you have multiple versions of the dll(s) on your system. You can search your system to find out. The issue may be solved by simply changing the order of the directories in your path. This was my issue. (Cannot run Qt Creator GUI outside of Qt. "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)" error)
I had a similar problem but I fixed it with by doing some changes in firewall setting.
You can follow the below steps
Inside Windows Firewall, click on "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall"
Now inside of Allow Programs, Click on "Change Settings" button. Once you clicked on Change Settings button, the "Allow another program..." button gets enabled.
Click on "Allow another program..." button , a new dialog box will be opened. Choose the programs or application for which you are getting the socket exception and click on "Add" button.
Click OK, and restart your machine.
Try to run your application (which has an exception) with administrative rights.
I hope this helps.
Peace,

I have a solution. I had this problem and research a solution, but i did not succeed. So i downloaded a newer version of XAMPP and clicked on the option netstats within the program.
There he gave me a list of programs and the ports they used and so I looked and had no program using port 80
, but apache beyond 80
also uses port 443
... and there was a program called Pando Media Boster this door, I started the task manager and finished the process of pando Average boster. Hope it helped :).
To get rid of your stopped container you can use:
docker rm <cointainer_id>
You can also use the name of the container:
docker rm <name>
If you want to get rid of all the stopped containers you can use the:
docker container prune
Or you can also use:
docker rm $(docker ps -aq -f status=exited)
You can use -v
argument to delete any docker managed volumes that are not referenced any further
docker rm -v $(docker ps -aq -f status=exited)
You can also use --rm
with the docker run
. This will delete the container and the associated files when the container exists.
Wouldn't this work?
$ad->getcodes()->distinct()->get(['pid'])->count();
See here for discussion..
I have written a post exactly about this matter. It basically makes use of a routeRegistrar
that iterates through files in the folder /controllers
calling its function init
. Function init
takes the express app
variable as a parameter so you can register your routes the way you want.
var fs = require("fs");
var express = require("express");
var app = express();
var controllersFolderPath = __dirname + "/controllers/";
fs.readdirSync(controllersFolderPath).forEach(function(controllerName){
if(controllerName.indexOf("Controller.js") !== -1){
var controller = require(controllersFolderPath + controllerName);
controller.init(app);
}
});
app.listen(3000);
Note that if you're using Sublime as your commit editor, you need the -n -w
flags, otherwise git keeps thinking your commit message is empty and aborting.
To add leading zeros, I would just do:
var minutes = "0" + Math.floor(time / 60);
var seconds = "0" + (time - minutes * 60);
return minutes.substr(-2) + ":" + seconds.substr(-2);
Nice and short
To remove new files from the staging area (and only in case of a new file), as suggested above:
git rm --cached FILE
Use rm --cached only for new files accidentally added.
Change the headers in .htaccess
BrowserMatch MSIE ie
Header set X-UA-Compatible "IE=Edge,chrome=1" env=ie
Found the solution to this problem here: https://github.com/h5bp/html5-boilerplate/issues/378
The bottom line is not all browsers will actually look for your favicon.ico file. Some browsers allow users to choose whether or not it should automatically look. Therefore, in order to ensure that it will always appear and get looked at, you do have to define it.
In Java 8 or later, Iterable
is a functional interface returns Iterator
.
So you can do this.
static Iterable<Integer> convert(int[] array) {
return () -> Arrays.stream(array).iterator();
}
and
int[] array = {1, 2, 3};
Iterable<Integer> iterable = convert(array);
for (int i : iterable)
System.out.println(i);
output:
1
2
3
I want columns One and Two to shrink/grow to fit rather than being fixed.
Have you tried: flex-basis: auto
or this:
flex: 1 1 auto
, which is short for:
flex-grow: 1
(grow proportionally)flex-shrink: 1
(shrink proportionally)flex-basis: auto
(initial size based on content size)or this:
main > section:first-child {
flex: 1 1 auto;
overflow-y: auto;
}
main > section:nth-child(2) {
flex: 1 1 auto;
overflow-y: auto;
}
main > section:last-child {
flex: 20 1 auto;
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
}

I use jQuery.getJSON( url [, data ] [, success( data, textStatus, jqXHR ) ] )
for example:
var url="my.php";
$.getJSON( url, myObj )
.done(function( json ) { ... }) /* got JSON from server */
.fail(function( jqxhr, textStatus, error ) {
var err = textStatus + ", " + error;
console.log( "Failed to obtain JSON data from server: " + err );
}); /* failed to get JSON */
getJSON is shorthand for:
$.ajax({
dataType: "json",
url: url,
data: data,
success: success
});
Below code worked for me.
instead of use <%@ include file="styles/default.css"%>
I found this solution works well and it inherits the origin font before sizing:
$.fn.textWidth = function(text){
var org = $(this)
var html = $('<span style="postion:absolute;width:auto;left:-9999px">' + (text || org.html()) + '</span>');
if (!text) {
html.css("font-family", org.css("font-family"));
html.css("font-size", org.css("font-size"));
}
$('body').append(html);
var width = html.width();
html.remove();
return width;
}

1) Plug in Phone through USB (w/ Developer Debugging options enabled)
2) Open Terminal and Navigate to your Android SDK (for Mac):
cd ~/Library/Android/sdk/platform-tools
3) Logcat from that directory (in your terminal) to generate a constant flow of logs (for Mac):
./adb logcat
4) Open your app that crashes to generate crash logs
5) Ctrl+C to stop terminal and look for the logs associated with the app that crashes. It may say something like the following:

They are not different from the point of view of JVM. Immutable objects don't have methods that can change the instance variables. And the instance variables are private; therefore you can't change it after you create it. A famous example would be String. You don't have methods like setString, or setCharAt. And s1 = s1 + "w" will create a new string, with the original one abandoned. That's my understanding.
Or, for Python 3:
for k,v in dict.items():
print(k, v)

if sys.version_info[0] == 3:

else:

data = url.read()
print data
# When the server does not know where the request is coming from.
# Works on python 3.

request = urllib.request.Request(url, None, headers)
response = urllib.request.urlopen(request)

Another reason why someone might get this error is if the file Global.asax is not in the root folder anymore.
I used AndExplorer for this purpose and my solution is popup a dialog and then redirect on the market to install the misssing application:
My startCreation is trying to call external file/directory picker. If it is missing call show installResultMessage function.
private void startCreation(){
Intent intent = new Intent();
intent.setAction(Intent.ACTION_PICK);
Uri startDir = Uri.fromFile(new File("/sdcard"));
intent.setDataAndType(startDir,
"vnd.android.cursor.dir/lysesoft.andexplorer.file");
intent.putExtra("browser_filter_extension_whitelist", "*.csv");
intent.putExtra("explorer_title", getText(R.string.andex_file_selection_title));
intent.putExtra("browser_title_background_color",
getText(R.string.browser_title_background_color));
intent.putExtra("browser_title_foreground_color",
getText(R.string.browser_title_foreground_color));
intent.putExtra("browser_list_background_color",
getText(R.string.browser_list_background_color));
intent.putExtra("browser_list_fontscale", "120%");
intent.putExtra("browser_list_layout", "2");
try{
ApplicationInfo info = getPackageManager()
.getApplicationInfo("lysesoft.andexplorer", 0 );
startActivityForResult(intent, PICK_REQUEST_CODE);
} catch( PackageManager.NameNotFoundException e ){
showInstallResultMessage(R.string.error_install_andexplorer);
} catch (Exception e) {
Log.w(TAG, e.getMessage());
}
}
This methos is just pick up a dialog and if user wants install the external application from market
private void showInstallResultMessage(int msg_id) {
AlertDialog dialog = new AlertDialog.Builder(this).create();
dialog.setMessage(getText(msg_id));
dialog.setButton(getText(R.string.button_ok),
new DialogInterface.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(DialogInterface dialog, int which) {
finish();
}
});
dialog.setButton2(getText(R.string.button_install),
new DialogInterface.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(DialogInterface dialog, int which) {
Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
intent.setData(Uri.parse("market://details?id=lysesoft.andexplorer"));
startActivity(intent);
finish();
}
});
dialog.show();
}
I know I'm late to the party, but now there's a quick answer to this:
git fetch --prune --prune-tags # or just git fetch -p -P
Yes, it's now an option to fetch.
If you don't want to fetch, and just prune:
git remote prune origin
There is no OOTB feature at this moment which allows this. One way to achieve that could be to write a custom InputFormat and/or SerDe that will do this for you. You might this JIRA useful : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-3751. (not related directly to your problem though).
An even cleaner and more professional look I have found is to use AngularUI Mask. Very simple to implement and the mask can be customized for other inputs as well. Then a simple required validation is all you need.
You can start a wifi connection if you give the user a choice to override the normal behavior of asking each time.
I choose to use three methods...
public boolean isOnline()
{
ConnectivityManager connMgr = (ConnectivityManager) getSystemService(Context.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE);
NetworkInfo networkInfo = connMgr.getActiveNetworkInfo();
return (networkInfo != null && networkInfo.isConnected());
}
This is quick check if there is an internet connect either Wifi or CellData. From here you can choose what action you want to take. Is it in Airplane mode needs to be checked also.
On a separate thread. I set a variable IpAddress to = " " And poll until I have a valid an ip address.
WifiManager wifi;
wifi = (WifiManager) this.getSystemService(Context.WIFI_SERVICE);
WifiInfo wifiInfo = wifi.getConnectionInfo();
int ipAddress = wifiInfo.getIpAddress();
String ip = null;
ip = String.format("%d.%d.%d.%d",
(ipAddress & 0xff),
(ipAddress >> 8 & 0xff),
(ipAddress >> 16 & 0xff),
(ipAddress >> 24 & 0xff));
Log.e(" >>IP number Begin ",ip);
Another code snippet... If its not on turn it on (with users prior permission)
if(wifi.isWifiEnabled()!=true)wifi.setWifiEnabled(true);
You should use the Time.IsZero() function instead:
func (Time) IsZero
func (t Time) IsZero() bool
IsZero reports whether t represents the zero time instant, January 1, year 1, 00:00:00 UTC.
String text = "I don't like Hasina.";
textView.setText(spannableString(text, 8, 14));
private SpannableString spannableString(String text, int start, int end) {
SpannableString spannableString = new SpannableString(text);
ColorStateList redColor = new ColorStateList(new int[][]{new int[]{}}, new int[]{0xffa10901});
TextAppearanceSpan highlightSpan = new TextAppearanceSpan(null, Typeface.BOLD, -1, redColor, null);
spannableString.setSpan(highlightSpan, start, end, Spannable.SPAN_EXCLUSIVE_EXCLUSIVE);
spannableString.setSpan(new BackgroundColorSpan(0xFFFCFF48), start, end, Spannable.SPAN_EXCLUSIVE_EXCLUSIVE);
spannableString.setSpan(new RelativeSizeSpan(1.5f), start, end, Spannable.SPAN_EXCLUSIVE_EXCLUSIVE);
return spannableString;

I found that happens frequently when using Git in Visual Studio 2017, switching branches where there is dependent code changes. Even though the project will build successfully, there will remain errors in the error list.
These errors are often namespace issues and missing references, even when the library reference exists.
To resolve:
As far as I see it's currently not possible to sort a Map properly.
The other solutions where the Map is converted into an array and sorted this way have the following bug:
var a = new Map([[1, 2], [3,4]])
console.log(a); // a = Map(2) {1 => 2, 3 => 4}
var b = a;
console.log(b); // b = Map(2) {1 => 2, 3 => 4}
a = new Map(); // this is when the sorting happens
console.log(a, b); // a = Map(0) {} b = Map(2) {1 => 2, 3 => 4}
The sorting creates a new object and all other pointers to the unsorted object get broken.
Use the Below Code for that
UPDATE Table1 SET Column1 = LTRIM(RTRIM(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(Column1, CHAR(9), ''), CHAR(10), ''), CHAR(13), '')))`
It's possible that the error didn't occur in the dot product, but after. For example try this
a = np.random.randn(12,1)
b = np.random.randn(1,5)
c = np.random.randn(5,12)
d = np.dot(a,b) * c
np.dot(a,b) will be fine; however np.dot(a, b) * c is clearly wrong (12x1 X 1x5 = 12x5 which cannot element-wise multiply 5x12) but numpy will give you
ValueError: operands could not be broadcast together with shapes (12,1) (1,5)
The error is misleading; however there is an issue on that line.
View the source of the login page. Look for the form
HTML tag. Within that tag is something that will look like action=
Use that value as $url
, not the URL of the form itself.
Also, while you are there, verify the input boxes are named what you have them listed as.
For example, a basic login form will look similar to:
<form method='post' action='postlogin.php'>
Email Address: <input type='text' name='email'>
Password: <input type='password' name='password'>
</form>
Using the above form as an example, change your value of $url
to:
$url="http://www.myremotesite.com/postlogin.php";
Verify the values you have listed in $postdata
:
$postdata = "email=".$username."&password=".$password;
and it should work just fine.
Trying Node-6.4.0 ( process.versions.v8 = '5.0.71.60') and Node Chakracore-v7.0.0-pre8 and then Chrome-52 (V8=5.2.361.49), I've noticed that named parameters are almost implemented, but that order has still precedence. I can't find what the ECMA standard says.
>function f(a=1, b=2){ console.log(`a=${a} + b=${b} = ${a+b}`) }
> f()
a=1 + b=2 = 3
> f(a=5)
a=5 + b=2 = 7
> f(a=7, b=10)
a=7 + b=10 = 17
But order is required!! Is it the standard behaviour?
> f(b=10)
a=10 + b=2 = 12
I tried the above methods for pushing an object into an array of objects in useState but had the following error when using TypeScript:
Type 'TxBacklog[] | undefined' must have a 'Symbol.iterator' method that returns an iterator.ts(2488)
The setup for the tsconfig.json was apparently right:
{
"compilerOptions": {
"target": "es6",
"lib": [
"dom",
"dom.iterable",
"esnext",
"es6",
],
This workaround solved the problem (my sample code):
Interface:
interface TxBacklog {
status: string,
txHash: string,
}
State variable:
const [txBacklog, setTxBacklog] = React.useState<TxBacklog[]>();
Push new object into array:
// Define new object to be added
const newTx = {
txHash: '0x368eb7269eb88ba86..',
status: 'pending'
};
// Push new object into array
(txBacklog)
? setTxBacklog(prevState => [ ...prevState!, newTx ])
: setTxBacklog([newTx]);
You can simply pass the functions as a list:
In [20]: df.groupby("dummy").agg({"returns": [np.mean, np.sum]})
Out[20]:
mean sum
dummy
1 0.036901 0.369012
or as a dictionary:
In [21]: df.groupby('dummy').agg({'returns':
{'Mean': np.mean, 'Sum': np.sum}})
Out[21]:
returns
Mean Sum
dummy
1 0.036901 0.369012
Architecture is the resulting collection of design patterns to build a system.
I guess Design is the creativity used to put all this together?
With the constructor:
// create a vector with 20 integer elements
std::vector<int> arr(20);
for(int x = 0; x < 20; ++x)
arr[x] = x;
The name _
used by the node.js
REPL to hold the previous input. Choose another name.
Lets say I'm trying to render the below HTML.
let myHTML = "<p>Go to this <a href='https://google.com'>website </b></p>";
JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(myHTML))
This would give you a HTML element which you can set using innerHTML.
Like this
document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(myHTML));
People are storing their HTML as an object here. However the method I suggested does the same without having to use an Object.
From Stack Overflow question What is the Python 3 equivalent of "python -m SimpleHTTPServer":
The following works for me:

Because I am using Python 3 the module SimpleHTTPServer
has been replaced by http.server

At the very core, the file extension you use makes no difference as to how perl
interprets those files.
However, putting modules in .pm
files following a certain directory structure that follows the package name provides a convenience. So, if you have a module Example::Plot::FourD
and you put it in a directory Example/Plot/FourD.pm
in a path in your @INC
, then use
and require
will do the right thing when given the package name as in use Example::Plot::FourD
.
The file must return true as the last statement to indicate successful execution of any initialization code, so it's customary to end such a file with
1;
unless you're sure it'll return true otherwise. But it's better just to put the1;
, in case you add more statements.If
EXPR
is a bareword, therequire
assumes a ".pm" extension and replaces "::" with "/" in the filename for you, to make it easy to load standard modules. This form of loading of modules does not risk altering your namespace.
All use
does is to figure out the filename from the package name provided, require
it in a BEGIN
block and invoke import
on the package. There is nothing preventing you from not using use
but taking those steps manually.
For example, below I put the Example::Plot::FourD
package in a file called t.pl
, loaded it in a script in file s.pl
.
C:\Temp> cat t.pl
package Example::Plot::FourD;
use strict; use warnings;
sub new { bless {} => shift }
sub something { print "something\n" }
"Example::Plot::FourD"
C:\Temp> cat s.pl
#!/usr/bin/perl
use strict; use warnings;
BEGIN {
require 't.pl';
}
my $p = Example::Plot::FourD->new;
$p->something;
C:\Temp> s
something
This example shows that module files do not have to end in 1
, any true value will do.
There is a simple but practical solution.
As DSM said, tuples are immutable, but we know Lists are mutable. So if you change a tuple to a list, it will be mutable. Then you can delete the items by the condition, then after changing the type to a tuple again. That’s it.
Please look at the codes below:
tuplex = list(tuplex)
for x in tuplex:
if (condition):
tuplex.pop(tuplex.index(x))
tuplex = tuple(tuplex)
print(tuplex)
For example, the following procedure will delete all even numbers from a given tuple.
tuplex = (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
tuplex = list(tuplex)
for x in tuplex:
if (x % 2 == 0):
tuplex.pop(tuplex.index(x))
tuplex = tuple(tuplex)
print(tuplex)
if you test the type of the last tuplex, you will find it is a tuple.
Finally, if you want to define an index counter as you did (i.e., n), you should initialize it before the loop, not in the loop.

Now an uppercase and lowercase switch can be done simultaneously in the selected strings via a regular expression replacement (regex, CtrlH + AltR), according to v1.47.3 June 2020 release:
This is done through 4 "Single character" character classes (Perl documentation), namely, for the matched group following it:
[[:lower:]]
: first character becomes lowercase[[:upper:]]
: first character becomes uppercase[^[:lower:]]
: all characters become lowercase[^[:upper:]]
: all characters become uppercase$0
matches all selected groups, while $1
matches the 1st group, $2
the 2nd one, etc.
Hit the Match Case button at the left of the search bar (or AltC) and, borrowing some examples from an old Sublime Text answer, now this is possible:
(\s)([a-z])
(\s
matches spaces and new lines, i.e. " venuS" => " VenuS")$1\u$2
(\s)([A-Z])
$1\l$2

The best part of working with any open source technology is that you can inspect length and breadth of it. Checkout this link
find_by ~> Finds the first record matching the specified conditions. There is no implied ordering so if order matters, you should specify it yourself. If no record is found, returns nil.
find ~> Finds the first record matching the specified conditions , but if no record is found, it raises an exception but that is done deliberately.
Do checkout the above link, it has all the explanation and use cases for the following two functions.
Have you looked at easygui?
import easygui
easygui.msgbox("This is a message!", title="simple gui")
Try this
<input type="checkbox" style="zoom:1.5;" />
/* The value 1.5 i.e., the size of checkbox will be increased by 0.5% */
I'd rather like to answer comprehensively.
LocalbroadcastManager included in android 3.0 and above so you have to use support library v4 for early releases. see instructions here
Create a broadcast receiver:
private BroadcastReceiver onNotice= new BroadcastReceiver() {
@Override
public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent) {
// intent can contain anydata
Log.d("sohail","onReceive called");
tv.setText("Broadcast received !");
}
};
Register your receiver in onResume of activity like:
protected void onResume() {
super.onResume();
IntentFilter iff= new IntentFilter(MyIntentService.ACTION);
LocalBroadcastManager.getInstance(this).registerReceiver(onNotice, iff);
}
//MyIntentService.ACTION is just a public static string defined in MyIntentService.
unRegister receiver in onPause:
protected void onPause() {
super.onPause();
LocalBroadcastManager.getInstance(this).unregisterReceiver(onNotice);
}
Now whenever a localbroadcast is sent from applications' activity or service, onReceive of onNotice will be called :).
Edit: You can read complete tutorial here LocalBroadcastManager: Intra application message passing
A fairly low-tech solution to this problem seems to be to declare the service (I'm using swarm on AWS and a yaml file) with your database files mounted to a persisted volume (here AWS EFS as denoted by the cloudstor:aws driver specification).
version: '3.3'
services:
database:
image: postgres:latest
volumes:
- postgresql:/var/lib/postgresql
- postgresql_data:/var/lib/postgresql/data
volumes:
postgresql:
driver: "cloudstor:aws"
postgresql_data:
driver: "cloudstor:aws"
A pleasant side-effect of persisting your configuration is that it also persists your databases (or was it the other way around) ;-)
This might be seen as a little complex but does exactly what you want

If you use Visual Studio Code (vscode), using the very popular vscode chrome debug extension (https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode-chrome-debug) you can setup a launch configuration file launch.json
and specify to open the developer tool during a debug session.
This the launch.json
I use for my React projects :
{
"version": "0.2.0",
"configurations": [
{
"type": "chrome",
"request": "launch",
"name": "Launch Chrome against localhost",
"url": "http://localhost:3000",
"runtimeArgs": ["--auto-open-devtools-for-tabs"],
"webRoot": "${workspaceRoot}/src"
}
]
}
The important line is "runtimeArgs": ["--auto-open-devtools-for-tabs"],
From vscode you can now type F5
, Chrome opens your app and the console tab as well.
Best way is $('input[name="line"]:checked').val()
And also you can get selected text $('input[name="line"]:checked').text()
Add value attribute and name to your radio button inputs. Make sure all inputs have same name attribute.
<div class="col-8 m-radio-inline">
<label class="m-radio m-radio-filter">
<input type="radio" name="line" value="1" checked> Value Text 1
</label>
<label class="m-radio m-radio-filter">
<input type="radio" name="line" value="2"> Value Text 2
</label>
<label class="m-radio m-radio-filter">
<input type="radio" name="line" value="3"> Value Text 3
</label>
</div>
Simplest way to do so is to read the size of a "querySnapshot".
db.collection("cities").get().then(function(querySnapshot) {
console.log(querySnapshot.size);
});
You can also read the length of the docs array inside "querySnapshot".
querySnapshot.docs.length;
Or if a "querySnapshot" is empty by reading the empty value, which will return a boolean value.
querySnapshot.empty;
It's on the top of the Homebrew homepage.
From a Terminal prompt:

The command brew install wget
is an example of how to use Homebrew to install another application (in this case, wget
) after brew is already installed.
Edit:
Above command to install the Brew is migrated to:
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install.sh)"
Directory.CreateDirectory
explains how to try and to create the FilePath if it does not exist.
Directory.Exists
explains how to check if a FilePath exists. However, you don't need this as CreateDirectory will check it for you.
you can use LayoutInflater to inflate your dynamic data as a layout file.
UPDATE : first create a LinearLayout inside your CardView's layout and assign an ID for it.
after that create a layout file that you want to inflate. at last in your onBindViewHolder
method in your "RAdaper" class. write these codes :
mInflater = (LayoutInflater) context.getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE);
view = mInflater.inflate(R.layout.my_list_custom_row, parent, false);
after that you can initialize data and ClickListeners with your RAdapter Data. hope it helps.
You can use Apache commons:
For substring after last occurrence use this method.
And for substring after first occurrence equivalent method is here.
Simply install adb with brew
brew cask install android-platform-tools
Check if adb is installed
adb devices
You were right regarding how you want to generate salt i.e. its nothing but a random number. For this particular case it would protect your system from possible Dictionary attacks. Now, for the second problem what you could do is instead of using UTF-8 encoding you may want to use Base64. Here, is a sample for generating a hash. I am using Apache Common Codecs for doing the base64 encoding you may select one of your own
public byte[] generateSalt() {
SecureRandom random = new SecureRandom();
byte bytes[] = new byte[20];
random.nextBytes(bytes);
return bytes;
}
public String bytetoString(byte[] input) {
return org.apache.commons.codec.binary.Base64.encodeBase64String(input);
}
public byte[] getHashWithSalt(String input, HashingTechqniue technique, byte[] salt) throws NoSuchAlgorithmException {
MessageDigest digest = MessageDigest.getInstance(technique.value);
digest.reset();
digest.update(salt);
byte[] hashedBytes = digest.digest(stringToByte(input));
return hashedBytes;
}
public byte[] stringToByte(String input) {
if (Base64.isBase64(input)) {
return Base64.decodeBase64(input);
} else {
return Base64.encodeBase64(input.getBytes());
}
}
Here is some additional reference of the standard practice in password hashing directly from OWASP
Go to menu File → Preferences → User Settings.
It will open up Default Settings and settings.json
automatically. Just add the following in the settings.json
file and save it. This will overwrite the default settings.
// Place your settings in this file to overwrite the default settings
{ "editor.wrappingColumn": 0 }
Anything wrong with:
@Test
void itWorks() {
// stuff
}
@Test
void itWorksRepeatably() {
for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
itWorks();
}
}
Unlike the case where you are testing each of an array of values, you don't particularly care which run failed.
No need to do in configuration or annotation what you can do in code.
Yes, there is a module fs-extra. There is a method .emptyDir()
inside this module which does the job. Here is an example:
const fsExtra = require('fs-extra')
fsExtra.emptyDirSync(fileDir)
There is also an asynchronous version of this module too. Anyone can check out the link.
You can set the color of a JLabel by altering the foreground category:
JLabel title = new JLabel("I love stackoverflow!", JLabel.CENTER);
title.setForeground(Color.white);
As far as I know, the simplest way to create the two-color label you want is to simply make two labels, and make sure they get placed next to each other in the proper order.
Stream is a base class, you need to create one of the specific types of streams, such as MemoryStream.
The below packages are also helps you,
yum install gcc glibc glibc-common gd gd-devel -y
The problem here is that you are including commands.c
in commands.h
before the function prototype. Therefore, the C pre-processor inserts the content of commands.c
into commands.h
before the function prototype. commands.c
contains the function definition. As a result, the function definition ends up before than the function declaration causing the error.
The content of commands.h
after the pre-processor phase looks like this:
#ifndef COMMANDS_H_
#define COMMANDS_H_
// function definition
void f123(){
}
// function declaration
void f123();
#endif /* COMMANDS_H_ */
This is an error because you can't declare a function after its definition in C. If you swapped #include "commands.c"
and the function declaration the error shouldn't happen because, now, the function prototype comes before the function declaration.
However, including a .c
file is a bad practice and should be avoided. A better solution for this problem would be to include commands.h
in commands.c
and link the compiled version of command to the main file. For example:
commands.h
#ifndef COMMANDS_H_
#define COMMANDS_H_
void f123(); // function declaration
#endif
commands.c
#include "commands.h"
void f123(){} // function definition
The new default toArray
method in Collection
interface allows the elements of the collection to be transferred to a newly created array of the desired runtime type. It takes IntFunction<T[]> generator
as argument and can be used as:
String[] array = set.toArray(String[]::new);
There is already a similar method Collection.toArray(T[])
and this addition means we no longer be able to pass null
as argument because in that case reference to the method would be ambiguous. But it is still okay since both methods throw a NPE anyways.
In Java 8 we can use streams API:
String[] array = set.stream().toArray(String[]::new);
We can also make use of the overloaded version of toArray() which takes IntFunction<A[]> generator
as:
String[] array = set.stream().toArray(n -> new String[n]);
The purpose of the generator function here is to take an integer (size of desired array) and produce an array of desired size. I personally prefer the former approach using method reference than the later one using lambda expression.

In my case, the problem was an extra space in the input date string. So I used strip()
and it started to work.

Its because of wrong path provided. It may be that the url contains space and if the case url has to be properly constructed.
The correct url should be in the format with file name included like "http://server name/document library name/new file name"
So if report.xlsx is the file that has to be uploaded at "http://server name/Team/Dev Team" then path comes out to be is "http://server name/Team/Dev Team/report.xlsx". It contains space so it should be reconstructed as "http://server name/Team/Dev%20Team/report.xlsx" and should be used.

Although I am very late to this but after seeing some legitimate questions for those who wanted to use INSERT-SELECT
query with GROUP BY
clause, I came up with the work around for this.
Taking further the answer of Marcus Adams and accounting GROUP BY
in it, this is how I would solve the problem by using Subqueries in the FROM Clause
INSERT INTO lee(exp_id, created_by, location, animal, starttime, endtime, entct,
inact, inadur, inadist,
smlct, smldur, smldist,
larct, lardur, lardist,
emptyct, emptydur)
SELECT sb.id, uid, sb.location, sb.animal, sb.starttime, sb.endtime, sb.entct,
sb.inact, sb.inadur, sb.inadist,
sb.smlct, sb.smldur, sb.smldist,
sb.larct, sb.lardur, sb.lardist,
sb.emptyct, sb.emptydur
FROM
(SELECT id, uid, location, animal, starttime, endtime, entct,
inact, inadur, inadist,
smlct, smldur, smldist,
larct, lardur, lardist,
emptyct, emptydur
FROM tmp WHERE uid=x
GROUP BY location) as sb
ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE entct=sb.entct, inact=sb.inact, ...
If this is for MS SQL.. The following code will always run no matter what if the table exist already or not.
if object_id('mytablename') is not null //has the table been created already in the db
Begin
drop table mytablename
End
Create table mytablename (...
You can use MODIFY COLUMN
to do this. Just do...
ALTER TABLE YourTable
MODIFY COLUMN your_column
your_previous_column_definition COMMENT "Your new comment"
substituting:
YourTable
with the name of your tableyour_column
with the name of your commentyour_previous_column_definition
with the column's column_definition, which I recommend getting via a SHOW CREATE TABLE YourTable
command and copying verbatim to avoid any traps.*Your new comment
with the column comment you want.For example...
mysql> CREATE TABLE `Example` (
-> `id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
-> `some_col` varchar(255) DEFAULT NULL,
-> PRIMARY KEY (`id`)
-> );
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.18 sec)
mysql> ALTER TABLE Example
-> MODIFY COLUMN `id`
-> int(10) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT COMMENT 'Look, I''m a comment!';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.07 sec)
Records: 0 Duplicates: 0 Warnings: 0
mysql> SHOW CREATE TABLE Example;

* Whenever you use MODIFY
or CHANGE
clauses in an ALTER TABLE
statement, I suggest you copy the column definition from the output of a SHOW CREATE TABLE
statement. This protects you from accidentally losing an important part of your column definition by not realising that you need to include it in your MODIFY
or CHANGE
clause. For example, if you MODIFY
an AUTO_INCREMENT
column, you need to explicitly specify the AUTO_INCREMENT
modifier again in the MODIFY
clause, or the column will cease to be an AUTO_INCREMENT
column. Similarly, if the column is defined as NOT NULL
or has a DEFAULT
value, these details need to be included when doing a MODIFY
or CHANGE
on the column or they will be lost.
I've looked at the given answers, but a lot of them are more complicated than needed or remove map elements when several keys have same value.
Here is a solution that I think fits better:
public static <K, V extends Comparable<V>> Map<K, V> sortByValues(final Map<K, V> map) {
Comparator<K> valueComparator = new Comparator<K>() {
public int compare(K k1, K k2) {
int compare = map.get(k2).compareTo(map.get(k1));
if (compare == 0) return 1;
else return compare;
}
};
Map<K, V> sortedByValues = new TreeMap<K, V>(valueComparator);
sortedByValues.putAll(map);
return sortedByValues;
}
Note that the map is sorted from the highest value to the lowest.
I think your issue is that Range("H18")
doesn't contain a formula. Also, you could make your code more efficient by eliminating x
. Instead, change your code to
Range("H18").GoalSeek Goal:=Range("H32").Value, ChangingCell:=Range("G18")
In modern browsers, the "setTimeout" receives a third parameter that is sent as parameter to the internal function at the end of the timer.
Example:
var hello = "Hello World";_x000D_
setTimeout(alert, 1000, hello);
_x000D_
More details:
In Python 3, they made the /
operator do a floating-point division, and added the //
operator to do integer division (i.e., quotient without remainder); whereas in Python 2, the /
operator was simply integer division, unless one of the operands was already a floating point number.
In Python 2.X:
>>> 10/3

>>> # To get a floating point number from integer division:
>>> 10.0/3
3.3333333333333335
>>> float(10)/3

Actually, I did not want to be dependent of anything else but Python (Cairo, Ink.., etc.)
My requirements were to be as simple as possible, at most, a simple pip install "savior"
would suffice, that's why any of those above didn't suit for me.
I came through this (going further than Stackoverflow on the research). https://www.tutorialexample.com/best-practice-to-python-convert-svg-to-png-with-svglib-python-tutorial/
Looks good, so far. So I share it in case anyone in the same situation.
I think what you are trying to do is probably counter-productive.
Making it easy for people to rate apps is generally a good idea, as most people who bother do so because they like the app. It is rumoured that the number of ratings affects your market rating (although I see little evidence of this). Hassling users into rating - through nag screens - is likely to cause people to clear the nag through leaving a bad rating.
Adding the capability to directly rate an app has caused a slight decrease in the numerical ratings for my free version, and a slight increase in my paid app. For the free app, my 4 star ratings increased more than my 5 star ratings, as people who thought my app was good but not great started to rate it as well. Change was about -0.2. For the paid, change was about +0.1. I should remove it from the free version, except I like getting lots of comments.
I put my rating button into a settings (preference) screen, where it does not affect normal operation. It still increased my rating rate by a factor of 4 or 5. I have no doubt that if I tried nagging my users into making a rating, I would get lots of users giving me bad ratings as a protest.
