Assuming that this is about OAuth 2.0 since it is about JWTs and refresh tokens...:

1. just like an access token, in principle a refresh token can be anything including all of the options you describe; a JWT could be used when the Authorization Server wants to be stateless or wants to enforce some sort of "proof-of-possession" semantics on to the client presenting it; note that a refresh token differs from an access token in that it is not presented to a Resource Server but only to the Authorization Server that issued it in the first place, so the self-contained validation optimization for JWTs-as-access-tokens does not hold for refresh tokens

2. that depends on the security/access of the database; if the database can be accessed by other parties/servers/applications/users, then yes (but your mileage may vary with where and how you store the encryption key...)

3. an Authorization Server may issue both access tokens and refresh tokens at the same time, depending on the grant that is used by the client to obtain them; the spec contains the details and options on each of the standardized grants

I would not say it is a standard way to swap because it will cause some unexpected errors.

What the error message indicates is that in your formGroup you have an element that doesn't get accounted for in your formControl. (Intentionally/Accidentally)

Yes and no. You can't return more than one variable / object, but as you suggest, you can put them into an array and return that.

When you get a connection to PostgreSQL it is always to a particular database. To access a different database, you must get a new connection.

Using \c in psql closes the old connection and acquires a new one, using the specified database and/or credentials. You get a whole new back-end process and everything.

You need to make the footer part of your ListView. At the moment the list won't scroll behind because the layout of the ListView does not go behind the footer view with the transparency. Make a RelativeLayout and position the transparency at the bottom.

This worked properly in my application

I had issues with getting the larger devices to emulate (Nexus7 and 10), while the phone sized emulators worked great. Would just keep getting a black screen with nothing for hours with the tablets. What helped was actually the OPPOSITE of what most people here are recommending: after setting the tick box for 'Use Host GPU' and setting the target to the highest android (4.4.2 at the time of this writing) the 7 and 10 work as expected!

Below are the methods which have always worked for me

1. By using flex layout model:

Set the display of the parent div to display: flex; and the you can align the child elements inside the div using the justify-content: center; (to align the items on main axis) and align-items: center; (to align the items on cross axis).

In my case, "Sept8" in a csv file generated using R was converted into "8-Sept" by Excel 2013. The problem was solved by using write.xlsx2() function in the xlsx package to generate the output file in xlsx format, which can be loaded by Excel without unwanted conversion. So, if you are given a csv file, you can try loading it into R and converting it into xlsx using the write.xlsx2() function.

What kind of field is this? The IN operator cannot be used with a single field, but is meant to be used in subqueries or with predefined lists:

There's no problem with using a localhost url for Dev work - obviously it needs to be changed when it comes to production.

You need to go here: https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2 and then follow the link for the API Console - link's in the Basic Steps section. When you've filled out the new application form you'll be asked to provide a redirect Url. Put in the page you want to go to once access has been granted.

When forming the Google oAuth Url - you need to include the redirect url - it has to be an exact match or you'll have problems. It also needs to be UrlEncoded.

Here is another thing to try (I'm using Windows 10):

1. Stop the VM.
2. Open Start.
3. Type "Services".
4. Find VMWare USB Arbitration Service and start it.
5. Connect your device and hopefully, it will be detected.

This is what worked for me. I have no idea why the service wasn't started in the first place and it used to work fine with my IPhone 7. Good luck.

Elements have to paint to an integer number of pixels, and as the other answers covered, percentages are indeed respected.

An important note is that pixels in this case means css pixels, not screen pixels, so a 200px container with a 50.7499% child will be rounded to 101px css pixels, which then get rendered onto 202px on a retina screen, and not 400 * .507499 ~= 203px.

Screen density is ignored in this calculation, and there is no way to paint* an element to specific retina subpixel sizes. You can't have elements' backgrounds or borders rendered at less than 1 css pixel size, even though the actual element's size could be less than 1 css pixel as Sandy Gifford showed.

Unrelated to the problem, the normal practice is by the way to start attribute name with a lowercase, like you do with normal variable names.

The Array and List<T> classes already have ForEach methods, though only this specific implementation. (Note that the former is static, by the way).

Not sure it really offers a great advantage over a foreach statement, but you could write an extension method to do the job for all IEnumerable<T> objects.

Yes, using default parameters is fully supported in ES6:

As others have noted on this and similar questions, cloning an "object", in the general sense, is dubious in JavaScript.

However, there is a class of objects, which I call "data" objects, that is, those constructed simply from { ... } literals and/or simple property assignments or deserialized from JSON for which it is reasonable to want to clone. Just today I wanted to artificially inflate data received from a server by 5x to test what happens for a large data set, but the object (an array) and its children had to be distinct objects for things to function correctly. Cloning allowed me to do this to multiply my data set:

The other place I often end up cloning data objects is for submitting data back to the host where I want to strip state fields from the object in the data model before sending it. For example, I might want to strip all fields starting with "_" from the object as it is cloned.

This is the code I ended up writing to do this generically, including supporting arrays and a selector to choose which members to clone (which uses a "path" string to determine context):

You can't have two Content-Types (well technically that's what we're doing below, but they are separated with each part of the multipart, but the main type is multipart). That's basically what you are expecting with your method. You are expecting mutlipart and json together as the main media type. The Employee data needs to be part of the multipart. So you can add a @FormDataParam("emp") for the Employee.

I just created a simple Employee class with an id and name field for testing. This works perfectly fine. It shows the image, prints the content disposition, and prints the Employee object.

I'm not too familiar with Postman, so I saved that testing for last :-)

It appears to work fine also, as you can see the response "Cool Tools". But if we look at the printed Employee data, we'll see that it's null. Which is weird because with the client API it worked fine.

If we look at the Preview window, we'll see the problem

There's no Content-Type header for the emp body part. You can see in the client API I explicitly set it

So as you can see from the Postman client, some clients are unable to set individual parts' Content-Type, this includes the browser, in regards to it's default capabilities when using FormData (js).

We can't expect the client to find away around this, so what we can do, is when receiving the data, explicitly set the Content-Type before deserializing. For example

Another option is to use a String parameter and use whatever JSON library you use to deserialze the String to the POJO (like Jackson ObjectMapper). With the previous option, we just let Jersey handle the deserialization, and it will use the same JSON library it uses for all the other JSON endpoints (which might be preferred).

Set a validator for a control in the FormGroup: this.myForm.controls['controlName'].setValidators([Validators.required])

Remove the validator from the control in the FormGroup: this.myForm.controls['controlName'].clearValidators()

Update the FormGroup once you have run either of the above lines. this.myForm.controls['controlName'].updateValueAndValidity()

This is an amazing way to programmatically set your form validation.

Per Debian policy, python refers to Python 2 and python3 refers to Python 3. Don't try to change this system-wide or you are in for the sort of trouble you already discovered.

Virtual environments allow you to run an isolated Python installation with whatever version of Python and whatever libraries you need without messing with the system Python install.

With recent Python 3, venv is part of the standard library; with older versions, you might need to install python3-venv or a similar package.

A common practice is to have a separate environment for each project you work on, anyway; but if you want this to look like it's effectively system-wide for your own login, you could add the activation stanza to your .profile or similar.

Basically I want to track the moving average of an ongoing stream of a stream of floating point numbers using the most recent 1000 numbers as a data sample.

Note that the below updates the total_ as elements as added/replaced, avoiding costly O(N) traversal to calculate the sum - needed for the average - on demand.

Total is made a different parameter from T to support e.g. using a long long when totalling 1000 longs, an int for chars, or a double to total floats.

Issues

This is a bit flawed in that num_samples_ could conceptually wrap back to 0, but it's hard to imagine anyone having 2^64 samples: if concerned, use an extra bool data member to record when the container is first filled while cycling num_samples_ around the array (best then renamed something innocuous like "pos").

Another issue is inherent with floating point precision, and can be illustrated with a simple scenario for T=double, N=2: we start with total_ = 0, then inject samples...

• 1E17, we execute total_ += 1E17, so total_ == 1E17, then inject

• 1, we execute total += 1, but total_ == 1E17 still, as the "1" is too insignificant to change the 64-bit double representation of a number as large as 1E17, then we inject

• 2, we execute total += 2 - 1E17, in which 2 - 1E17 is evaluated first and yields -1E17 as the 2 is lost to imprecision/insignificance, so to our total of 1E17 we add -1E17 and total_ becomes 0, despite current samples of 1 and 2 for which we'd want total_ to be 3. Our moving average will calculate 0 instead of 1.5. As we add another sample, we'll subtract the "oldest" 1 from total_ despite it never having been properly incorporated therein; our total_ and moving averages are likely to remain wrong.

You could add code that stores the highest recent total_ and if the current total_ is too small a fraction of that (a template parameter could provide a multiplicative threshold), you recalculate the total_ from all the samples in the samples_ array (and set highest_recent_total_ to the new total_), but I'll leave that to the reader who cares sufficiently.

Another option, not necesarily more elegant, but does not require to refer to a specific column:

It's probably a type mismatch. Try post.findOne({date: "1000000"}, callback) and if that works, you have a typing issue.

I got the same issue with Spring Source Tool (STS) IDE for a Grails project. I checked the installed Java version and the project Java version were 1.7.*. Later I found that in GGTS.ini file the Java version was set to 1.6:

I thought it went without saying, but connecting to a database with Java requires a JDBC driver. You'll need the MySQL JDBC driver.

The money types are integers

The text representations of smallmoney and decimal(10,4) may look alike, but that doesn't make them interchangeable. Do you cringe when you see dates stored as varchar(10)? This is the same thing.

Behind the scenes, money/smallmoney are just a bigint/int The decimal point in the text representation of money is visual fluff, just like the dashes in a yyyy-mm-dd date. SQL doesn't actually store those internally.

Regarding decimal vs money, pick whatever is appropriate for your needs. The money types exist because storing accounting values as integer multiples of 1/10000th of unit is very common. Also, if you are dealing with actual money and calculations beyond simple addition and subtraction, you shouldn't be doing that at the database level! Do it at the application level with a library that supports Banker's Rounding (IEEE 754)

Yes. I don't have any examples that I've done personally available right now. I'll post later when I find some. Basically you'll use reflection to load the assembly and then to pull whatever types you need for it.

The commandline interpreter does indeed have a FOR construct that you can use from the command prompt or from within a batch file.

For your purpose, you probably want something like:

FOR %i IN (*.ext) DO my-function %i

Which will result in the name of each file with extension *.ext in the current directory being passed to my-function (which could, for example, be another .bat file).

The (*.ext) part is the "filespec", and is pretty flexible with how you specify sets of files. For example, you could do:

To perform an operation in a different directory.

The problem is that you can't use a list as the key in a dict, since dict keys need to be immutable. Use a tuple instead.

This is a list:

Note that in most cases, the ( and ) are optional, since , is what actually defines a tuple (as long as it's not surrounded by [] or {}, or used as a function argument).

In case you're wondering what the error message means, it's complaining because there's no built-in hash function for lists (by design), and dictionaries are implemented as hash tables.

Spaces in the Commend Prompt (in a VBA Shell command code line)

I had a very similar problem which ended up being a space in the command prompt when automating via VBA to get the contents from the command window into a text file. This Thread was one of many I caught along the way that didn’t quite get me the solution.

So this may help others with a similar problem: Since the syntax with quotes is always difficult to get right , I think showing some specific examples is always useful. The additional problem you get using the command prompt in VBA via the Shell thing, is that the code line often won’t error when something goes wrong: in fact a blink of the black commend window misleads into thinking something was done.

As example… say I have a Folder, with a text file in it like at

C:\Alans Folder\test1.txt ( https://imgur.com/FELSdB6 )

The space there in the folder name gives the problem.

Something like this would work, assuming the Folder, AlansFolder, exists

I'd use minlog, personally. It's extremely simple, as the logging class is a few hundred lines of code.

I solved this problem. You can use Support library and ViewPager. If you don't need swiping by gesture you can disable swiping. So here is some code to improve my solution:

It's definitely conceivable but I am not sure we're there yet. In the meantime, I'd recommend using something like Silverlight with IIS Smooth Streaming. Silverlight is plugin-based, but it works on Windows/OSX/Linux. Some day the HTML5 <video> element will be the way to go, but that will lack support for a little while.

stopPropagation prevents further propagation of the current event in the capturing and bubbling phases.

preventDefault prevents the default action the browser makes on that event.

With stopPropagation, only the button's click handler is called while the div's click handler never fires.

Where as if you use preventDefault, only the browser's default action is stopped but the div's click handler still fires.

I think your code is right. If you run the following code it converts the string '60' which is treated as varchar and it returns integer 60, if there is integer containing string in second it works.

Let us call the sample code posted here the redirector and the other program the redirected. If it were me then I would probably write a test redirected program that can be used to duplicate the problem.

So I did. For test data I used the ECMA-334 C# Language Specificationv PDF; it is about 5MB. The following is the important part of that.

The datasize value does not match the actual file size but that does not matter. It is not clear if a PDF file always uses both CR and LF at the end of lines but that does not matter for this. You can use any other large text file to test with.

Using that the sample redirector code hangs when I write the large amount of data but not when I write a small amount.

I tried very much to somehow trace the execution of that code and I could not. I commented out the lines of the redirected program that disabled creation of a console for the redirected program to try to get a separate console window but I could not.

Then I found How to start a console app in a new window, the parent’s window, or no window. So apparently we cannot (easily) have a separate console when one console program starts another console program without ShellExecute and since ShellExecute does not support redirection we must share a console, even if we specify no window for the other process.

I assume that if the redirected program fills up a buffer somewhere then it must wait for the data to be read and if at that point no data is read by the redirector then it is a deadlock.

The solution is to not use ReadToEnd and to read the data while the data is being written but it is not necessary to use asynchronous reads. The solution can be quite simple. The following works for me with the 5 MB PDF.

Another possibility is to use a GUI program to do the redirection. The preceding code works in a WPF application except with obvious modifications.

Another solution is to add a delay functionality to model update. The simple directive seems to do a trick:

Your "localhost" cannot resolve the name www.google.com, which means your machine doesn't/can't reach a valid dns server.

I was trying to find the meaning of GRANT USAGE on *.* TO and found here. I can clarify that GRANT USAGE on *.* TO user IDENTIFIED BY PASSWORD password will be granted when you create the user with the following command (CREATE):

Which is what is needed when using the IPAddress.Parse(String) function. Sigh.

All objects that would be associated with the .click must exist when you set the event.

Example: (in pseudo code) the append can be $("body").append() for example

append('<div id="bar" class="something">...</div>');

Click works for foo but doesn't work for bar

Example2:

append('<div id="foo" class="something">...</div>');

click works for both foo and bar

With .live('click'... you can dynamicaly add more objects after you created the event and the clicking event will still work.

I am using a powershell build and couldn't get npm to run without changing the current directory.

Ended up using the start command and just specifying the working directory:

You don't want git revert. That undoes a previous commit. You want git checkout to get git's version of the file from master.

git checkout -- filename.txt

In general, when you want to perform a git operation on a single file, use -- filename.

2020 Update

Git introduced a new command git restore in version 2.23.0. Therefore, if you have git version 2.23.0+, you can simply git restore filename.txt - which does the same thing as git checkout -- filename.txt. The docs for this command do note that it is currently experimental.

Even though this question is old, I'll quickly mention that I've thrown together an ActionSheetPicker class with a convenience function, so you can spawn an ActionSheet with a UIPickerView in one line. It's based on code from answers to this question.

I wrote a short helper class that makes a textview fit within a certain width and adds ellipsize "..." at the end if the minimum textsize cannot be achieved.

Keep in mind that it only makes the text smaller until it fits or until the minimum text size is reached. To test with large sizes, set the textsize to a large number before calling the help method.

It takes Pixels, so if you are using values from dimen, you can call it like this:

A Possible Gotcha

Recommended Sanity Check - Make sure to add the form-control class to your inputs.

If you have bootstrap css loaded on your page, but your inputs don't have the

If you want to get benefit of splashColor, highlightColor, wrap InkWell widget using a Material widget with material type circle. And then remove decoration in Container widget.

Outcome:

This is more the the error itself, not answering the original question:

We were migrating from java 8 to java 11. Application compiled successfully, but the errors Unable to find a @SpringBootConfiguration started to appear in the integration tests when ran from command line using maven (from IntelliJ it worked).

It appeared that maven-failsafe-plugin stopped seeing the classes on classpath, we fixed that by telling failsafe plugin to include the classes manually:
