The docker run
command has a --ulimit
flag you can use this flag to set the open file limit in your docker container.
Run the following command when spinning up your container to set the open file limit.
docker run --ulimit nofile=<softlimit>:<hardlimit>
the first value before the colon indicates the soft file limit and the value after the colon indicates the hard file limit. you can verify this by running your container in interactive mode and executing the following command in your containers shell ulimit -n
PS: check out this blog post for more clarity
In my situation it was matter of the permissions:
sudo chmod -R +777 <your_folder_path>
It's very, very easy to get your device size as well as take into account the orientation:
// grab the window frame and adjust it for orientation
UIView *rootView = [[[UIApplication sharedApplication] keyWindow]
rootViewController].view;
CGRect originalFrame = [[UIScreen mainScreen] bounds];
CGRect adjustedFrame = [rootView convertRect:originalFrame fromView:nil];
How about:
'%ni%' <- Negate('%in%')
c(1,3,11) %ni% 1:10
# [1] FALSE FALSE TRUE
If your target collection is not too large, you can try this under mongo shell client:
var allKeys = {};
db.YOURCOLLECTION.find().forEach(function(doc){Object.keys(doc).forEach(function(key){allKeys[key]=1})});
allKeys;
Depending on your particular requirements, in some cases Java's service loader mechanism might achieve what you're after.
In short, it allows developers to explicitly declare that a class subclasses some other class (or implements some interface) by listing it in a file in the JAR/WAR file's META-INF/services
directory. It can then be discovered using the java.util.ServiceLoader
class which, when given a Class
object, will generate instances of all the declared subclasses of that class (or, if the Class
represents an interface, all the classes implementing that interface).
The main advantage of this approach is that there is no need to manually scan the entire classpath for subclasses - all the discovery logic is contained within the ServiceLoader
class, and it only loads the classes explicitly declared in the META-INF/services
directory (not every class on the classpath).
There are, however, some disadvantages:
META-INF/services
directory. This is an additional burden on the developer, and can be error-prone.ServiceLoader.iterator()
generates subclass instances, not their Class
objects. This causes two issues:
Apparently Java 9 will be addressing some of these shortcomings (in particular, the ones regarding instantiation of subclasses).
Suppose you're interested in finding classes that implement an interface com.example.Example
:
package com.example;
public interface Example {
public String getStr();
}
The class com.example.ExampleImpl
implements that interface:
package com.example;
public class ExampleImpl implements Example {
public String getStr() {
return "ExampleImpl's string.";
}
}
You would declare the class ExampleImpl
is an implementation of Example
by creating a file META-INF/services/com.example.Example
containing the text com.example.ExampleImpl
.
Then, you could obtain an instance of each implementation of Example
(including an instance of ExampleImpl
) as follows:
ServiceLoader<Example> loader = ServiceLoader.load(Example.class)
for (Example example : loader) {
System.out.println(example.getStr());
}
// Prints "ExampleImpl's string.", plus whatever is returned
// by other declared implementations of com.example.Example.
It can be resolved as follows:
Go to Project properties.
Then 'Java Compiler' -> Check the box ('Enable project specific settings')
Change the compiler compliance level to '5.0' & click ok.
Do rebuild. It will be resolved.
Also, click the checkbox for "Use default compliance settings".
CAST(Round(MySum * 20.0 /100, 0) AS INT)
FYI
MySum * 20 /100, I get 11
This is because when all 3 operands are INTs, SQL Server will do perform integer maths, from left to right, truncating all intermediate results.
58 * 20 / 100 => 1160 / 100 => 11 (truncated from 11.6)
Also for the record ROUND(m,n) returns the result to n decimal places, not n significant figures.
Another solution I've used is to just have one button in the form, and fake the other buttons.
Here's an example:
<form>
<label for="amount">Amount of items</label>
<input id="amount" type="text" name="amount" />
<span id="checkStock" class="buttonish">Check stock</span>
<button type="submit" name="action" value="order">Place order</button>
</form>
I then style the span elements to look like a button. A JS listener observes the span and performs the desired operation once clicked.
Not necessarily right for all situations, but at least it's pretty easy to do.
You can try use in javascript:
window.onload = function() {
alert("let's go!");
}
Its a good practice separate javascript of html
The problem is with the input.nextInt() method - it only reads the int value. So when you continue reading with input.nextLine() you receive the "\n" Enter key. So to skip this you have to add the input.nextLine(). Hope this should be clear now.
Try it like that:
System.out.print("Insert a number: ");
int number = input.nextInt();
input.nextLine(); // This line you have to add (It consumes the \n character)
System.out.print("Text1: ");
String text1 = input.nextLine();
System.out.print("Text2: ");
String text2 = input.nextLine();
First install your targeted version
npm i [email protected] --save-dev --save-exact
Then before compiling do
npm i
Unless you want to go the VBA route to work out the Tab name, the Excel formula is fairly ugly based upon Mid functions, etc. But both these methods can be found here if you want to go that way.
Rather, the way I would do it is:
1) Make one cell on your sheet named, for example, Reference_Sheet
and put in that cell the value "Jan Item" for example.
2) Now, use the Indirect
function like:
=INDIRECT(Reference_Sheet&"!J3")
3) Now, for each month's sheet, you just have to change that one Reference_Sheet
cell.
Hope this gives you what you're looking for!
Here is the screen print showing the options to ignore the file or folder after the installation of the .ignore plugin. The generated file name would be .gitignore

Note: According to JDN96, the answer below may cause a memory leak by repeatedly destroying and recreating frames. However, I have not tested to verify this myself.
One way to switch frames in tkinter
is to destroy the old frame then replace it with your new frame.
I have modified Bryan Oakley's answer to destroy the old frame before replacing it. As an added bonus, this eliminates the need for a container
object and allows you to use any generic Frame
class.
# Multi-frame tkinter application v2.3
import tkinter as tk
class SampleApp(tk.Tk):
def __init__(self):
tk.Tk.__init__(self)
self._frame = None
self.switch_frame(StartPage)
def switch_frame(self, frame_class):
"""Destroys current frame and replaces it with a new one."""
new_frame = frame_class(self)
if self._frame is not None:
self._frame.destroy()
self._frame = new_frame
self._frame.pack()
class StartPage(tk.Frame):
def __init__(self, master):
tk.Frame.__init__(self, master)
tk.Label(self, text="This is the start page").pack(side="top", fill="x", pady=10)
tk.Button(self, text="Open page one",
command=lambda: master.switch_frame(PageOne)).pack()
tk.Button(self, text="Open page two",
command=lambda: master.switch_frame(PageTwo)).pack()
class PageOne(tk.Frame):
def __init__(self, master):
tk.Frame.__init__(self, master)
tk.Label(self, text="This is page one").pack(side="top", fill="x", pady=10)
tk.Button(self, text="Return to start page",
command=lambda: master.switch_frame(StartPage)).pack()
class PageTwo(tk.Frame):
def __init__(self, master):
tk.Frame.__init__(self, master)
tk.Label(self, text="This is page two").pack(side="top", fill="x", pady=10)
tk.Button(self, text="Return to start page",
command=lambda: master.switch_frame(StartPage)).pack()
if __name__ == "__main__":
app = SampleApp()
app.mainloop()
switch_frame()
works by accepting any Class object that implements Frame
. The function then creates a new frame to replace the old one.
_frame
if it exists, then replaces it with the new frame..pack()
, such as menubars, will be unaffected.tkinter.Frame
.v2.3
- Pack buttons and labels as they are initialized
v2.2
- Initialize `_frame` as `None`.
- Check if `_frame` is `None` before calling `.destroy()`.
v2.1.1
- Remove type-hinting for backwards compatibility with Python 3.4.
v2.1
- Add type-hinting for `frame_class`.
v2.0
- Remove extraneous `container` frame.
- Application now works with any generic `tkinter.frame` instance.
- Remove `controller` argument from frame classes.
- Frame switching is now done with `master.switch_frame()`.
v1.6
- Check if frame attribute exists before destroying it.
- Use `switch_frame()` to set first frame.
v1.5
- Revert 'Initialize new `_frame` after old `_frame` is destroyed'.
- Initializing the frame before calling `.destroy()` results
in a smoother visual transition.
v1.4
- Pack frames in `switch_frame()`.
- Initialize new `_frame` after old `_frame` is destroyed.

v1.1
- Rename `frame` to `_frame`.
- Naming implies variable should be private.
- Create new frame before destroying old frame.
v1.0
- Initial version.
All you have to do is chant the magick incantation:
npm test -- SomeTestFileToRun
The standalone --
is *nix magic for marking the end of options, meaning (for NPM) that everything after that is passed to the command being run, in this case jest
. As an aside, you can display Jest usage notes by saying
npm test -- --help
Anyhow, chanting
npm test -- Foo
runs the tests in the named file (FooBar.js
). You should note, though, that:
Jest treats the name as case-sensitive, so if you're using a case-insensitive, but case-preserving file system (like Windows NTFS), you might encounter what appears to be oddness going on.
Jest appears to treat the specification as a prefix.
So the above incantation will
FooBar.js
, Foo.js
and FooZilla.js

What you are looking for is called a spherical covering. The spherical covering problem is very hard and solutions are unknown except for small numbers of points. One thing that is known for sure is that given n points on a sphere, there always exist two points of distance d = (4-csc^2(\pi n/6(n-2)))^(1/2)
or closer.
If you want a probabilistic method for generating points uniformly distributed on a sphere, it's easy: generate points in space uniformly by Gaussian distribution (it's built into Java, not hard to find the code for other languages). So in 3-dimensional space, you need something like
Random r = new Random();
double[] p = { r.nextGaussian(), r.nextGaussian(), r.nextGaussian() };
Then project the point onto the sphere by normalizing its distance from the origin
double norm = Math.sqrt( (p[0])^2 + (p[1])^2 + (p[2])^2 );
double[] sphereRandomPoint = { p[0]/norm, p[1]/norm, p[2]/norm };
The Gaussian distribution in n dimensions is spherically symmetric so the projection onto the sphere is uniform.
Of course, there's no guarantee that the distance between any two points in a collection of uniformly generated points will be bounded below, so you can use rejection to enforce any such conditions that you might have: probably it's best to generate the whole collection and then reject the whole collection if necessary. (Or use "early rejection" to reject the whole collection you've generated so far; just don't keep some points and drop others.) You can use the formula for d
given above, minus some slack, to determine the min distance between points below which you will reject a set of points. You'll have to calculate n choose 2 distances, and the probability of rejection will depend on the slack; it's hard to say how, so run a simulation to get a feel for the relevant statistics.
In most cases simply switching the virtual machine network adapter to bridged mode is enough to make the guest machine accessible from outside.
Sometimes it's possible for the guest machine to not automatically receive an IP which matches the host's IP range after switching to bridged mode (even after rebooting the guest machine). This is often caused by a malfunctioning or badly configured DHCP on the host network.
For example, if the host IP is 192.168.1.1
the guest machine needs to have an IP in the format 192.168.1.*
where only the last group of numbers is allowed to be different from the host IP.
You can use a terminal (shell) and type ifconfig
(ipconfig
for Windows guests) to check what IP is assigned to the guest machine and change it if required.
If the host and guest IPs do not match simply setting a static IP for the guest machine explicitly should resolve the issue.
You can do this is with a list. here is how
List<string> info = new List<string>();
info.Add("finally worked");
and if you need to return this array do
return info.ToArray();
I suppose your p2vg table has also an id field , in that case , postgres cannot find if the id in the SELECT
refers to vg or p2vg.
you should use SELECT(vg.id,vg.name)
to remove ambiguity
I always try to stick with POSIX sh
instead of using Bash extensions, since one of the major points of scripting is portability (besides connecting programs, not replacing them).
In sh
, there is an easy way to check for an "is-prefix" condition.
case $HOST in node*)
# Your code here
esac
Given how old, arcane and crufty sh is (and Bash is not the cure: It's more complicated, less consistent and less portable), I'd like to point out a very nice functional aspect: While some syntax elements like case
are built-in, the resulting constructs are no different than any other job. They can be composed in the same way:
if case $HOST in node*) true;; *) false;; esac; then
# Your code here
fi
Or even shorter
if case $HOST in node*) ;; *) false;; esac; then
# Your code here
fi
Or even shorter (just to present !
as a language element -- but this is bad style now)
if ! case $HOST in node*) false;; esac; then
# Your code here
fi
If you like being explicit, build your own language element:
beginswith() { case $2 in "$1"*) true;; *) false;; esac; }
Isn't this actually quite nice?
if beginswith node "$HOST"; then
# Your code here
fi
And since sh
is basically only jobs and string-lists (and internally processes, out of which jobs are composed), we can now even do some light functional programming:
beginswith() { case $2 in "$1"*) true;; *) false;; esac; }
checkresult() { if [ $? = 0 ]; then echo TRUE; else echo FALSE; fi; }
all() {
test=$1; shift
for i in "$@"; do
$test "$i" || return
done
}
all "beginswith x" x xy xyz ; checkresult # Prints TRUE
all "beginswith x" x xy abc ; checkresult # Prints FALSE
This is elegant. Not that I'd advocate using sh
for anything serious -- it breaks all too quickly on real world requirements (no lambdas, so we must use strings. But nesting function calls with strings is not possible, pipes are not possible, etc.)
Like that we can do....
int main(int argc, char *argv[]) {
int a, b, c;
*// Converting string type to integer type
// using function "atoi( argument)"*
a = atoi(argv[1]);
b = atoi(argv[2]);
c = atoi(argv[3]);
}
I would have a directory somewhere called scripts under the WWW folder so that it's not reachable from the web but is reachable by PHP.
e.g. /var/www/scripts/testscript
Make sure the user/group for your testscript
is the same as your webfiles. For instance if your client.php
is owned by apache:apache
, change the bash script to the same user/group using chown
. You can find out what your client.php
and web files are owned by doing ls -al
.
Then run
<?php
$message=shell_exec("/var/www/scripts/testscript 2>&1");
print_r($message);
?>
EDIT:
If you really want to run a file as root from a webserver you can try this binary wrapper below. Check out this solution for the same thing you want to do.
This code is supported in MVC4 onwards
@Html.EditorFor(model => model.userName, new { htmlAttributes = new { @class = "form-control", disabled = "disabled", @readonly = "readonly" } })
You need to create a StringWriter, and pass that to the XmlWriter.
The string overload of the XmlWriter.Create is for a filename.
E.g.
using (var sw = new StringWriter()) {
using (var xw = XmlWriter.Create(sw)) {
// Build Xml with xw.
}
return sw.ToString();
}
In the STL, std::max_element
provides the iterator (which can be used to get index with std::distance
, if you really want it).
int main(int argc, char** argv) {
int A[4] = {0, 2, 3, 1};
const int N = sizeof(A) / sizeof(int);
cout << "Index of max element: "
<< distance(A, max_element(A, A + N))
<< endl;
return 0;
}
int? here = (list.ElementAtOrDefault(2) != 0 ? list[2]:(int?) null);
mutil init function in one package execute order:
const and variable defined file init() function execute
init function execute order by the filename asc
I assume this is a one-off data scrubbing exercise. Once done, ensure you add database constraints to prevent bad data in the future e.g.
ALTER TABLE Customer ADD
CONSTRAINT customer_names__whitespace
CHECK (
Names NOT LIKE ' %'
AND Names NOT LIKE '% '
AND Names NOT LIKE '% %'
);
Also consider disallowing other characters (tab, carriage return, line feed, etc) that may cause problems.
It may also be a good time to split those Names into family_name
, first_name
, etc :)
The SQL standard says full join on
is inner join on
rows union all
unmatched left table rows extended by nulls union all
right table rows extended by nulls. Ie inner join on
rows union all
rows in left join on
but not inner join on
union all
rows in right join on
but not inner join on
.
Ie left join on
rows union all
right join on
rows not in inner join on
. Or if you know your inner join on
result can't have null in a particular right table column then "right join on
rows not in inner join on
" are rows in right join on
with the on
condition extended by and
that column is null
.
Ie similarly right join on
union all
appropriate left join on
rows.
From What is the difference between “INNER JOIN” and “OUTER JOIN”?:
(SQL Standard 2006 SQL/Foundation 7.7 Syntax Rules 1, General Rules 1 b, 3 c & d, 5 b.)
If d is a dictionary, then d.get(k, v)
means, give me the value of k in d, unless k isn't there, in which case give me v. It's being used here to get the current count of the character, which should start at 0 if the character hasn't been encountered before.
Although using const
to define functions seems like a hack, but it comes with some great advantages that make it superior (in my opinion)
It makes the function immutable, so you don't have to worry about that function being changed by some other piece of code.
You can use fat arrow syntax, which is shorter & cleaner.
Using arrow functions takes care of this
binding for you.
example with function
// define a function_x000D_
function add(x, y) { return x + y; }_x000D_
_x000D_
// use it_x000D_
console.log(add(1, 2)); // 3_x000D_
_x000D_
// oops, someone mutated your function_x000D_
add = function (x, y) { return x - y; };_x000D_
_x000D_
// now this is not what you expected_x000D_
console.log(add(1, 2)); // -1
_x000D_
same example with const
// define a function (wow! that is 8 chars shorter)_x000D_
const add = (x, y) => x + y;_x000D_
_x000D_
// use it_x000D_
console.log(add(1, 2)); // 3_x000D_
_x000D_
// someone tries to mutate the function_x000D_
add = (x, y) => x - y; // Uncaught TypeError: Assignment to constant variable._x000D_
// the intruder fails and your function remains unchanged

Dynamic Programming
Definition
Dynamic programming (DP) is a general algorithm design technique for solving problems with overlapping sub-problems. This technique was invented by American mathematician “Richard Bellman” in 1950s.
Key Idea
The key idea is to save answers of overlapping smaller sub-problems to avoid recomputation.

This should give you a good idea of how to display a tree like structure
using angular. It is kind of using recursion in html!
Another approach you can take if you need to back up a single table out of multiple tables in a database is:
Generate script of specific table(s) from a database (Right-click database, click Task > Generate Scripts...
Run the script in the query editor. You must change/add the first line (USE DatabaseName) in the script to a new database, to avoid getting the "Database already exists" error.
Right-click on the newly created database, and click on Task > Back Up... The backup will contain the selected table(s) from the original database.
Just add throw
where needed, and try
block to the caller that handles the error. By convention you should only throw things that derive from std::exception
, so include <stdexcept>
first.
int compare(int a, int b) {
if (a < 0 || b < 0) {
throw std::invalid_argument("a or b negative");
}
}
void foo() {
try {
compare(-1, 0);
} catch (const std::invalid_argument& e) {
// ...
}
}
Also, look into Boost.Exception.
In a .txt
file opened with Notepad++,
press Ctrl-F
go in the tab "Replace"
write the regex pattern \|.+
in the space Find what
and let the space Replace with blank
Then tick the choice matches newlines after the choice Regular expression
and press two times on the Replace button
To call GET,POST,DELETE,PUT All kind of request, i have created one common function
function CallAPI($method, $api, $data) {

// Check the HTTP Status code

CALL Delete Method
$data = array('id'=>$_GET['did']);
$result = CallAPI('DELETE', "DeleteCategory", $data);
CALL Post Method
$data = array('title'=>$_POST['txtcategory'],'description'=>$_POST['txtdesc']);
$result = CallAPI('POST', "InsertCategory", $data);
CALL Get Method
$data = array('id'=>$_GET['eid']);
$result = CallAPI('GET', "GetCategoryById", $data);
CALL Put Method
$data = array('id'=>$_REQUEST['eid'],m'title'=>$_REQUEST['txtcategory'],'description'=>$_REQUEST['txtdesc']);
$result = CallAPI('POST', "UpdateCategory", $data);
This is impossible as you cannot return from an asynchronous call inside a synchronous method.
In this case you need to pass a callback to foo that will receive the return value
function foo(address, fn){
geocoder.geocode( { 'address': address}, function(results, status) {
fn(results[0].geometry.location);
});
}
foo("address", function(location){
alert(location); // this is where you get the return value
});
The thing is, if an inner function call is asynchronous, then all the functions 'wrapping' this call must also be asynchronous in order to 'return' a response.
If you have a lot of callbacks you might consider taking the plunge and use a promise library like Q.
If you use git LFS, git count-objects does not count your binaries, but only the pointers to them.
If your LFS files are managed by Artifactorys, you should use the REST API:
You can do some fancy things with inset shadows. Example to put a border on the bottom of an element without changing its size:
.bottom-border {
box-shadow:inset 0px -3px 0px #000;
}
If you don't have the -T
option for dmesg
as for example on Andoid, you can use the busybox
version. The following solves also some other issues:
[0.0000]
format is preceded by something that looks like misplaced color information, prefixes like <6>
. It is inspired by this blog post.
#!/bin/sh
# Translate dmesg timestamps to human readable format
# uptime in seconds
uptime=$(cut -d " " -f 1 /proc/uptime)
# remove fraction
uptime=$(echo $uptime | cut -d "." -f1)
# run only if timestamps are enabled
if [ "Y" = "$(cat /sys/module/printk/parameters/time)" ]; then
dmesg | sed "s/[^\[]*\[/\[/" | sed "s/^\[[ ]*\?\([0-9.]*\)\] \(.*\)/\\1 \\2/" | while read timestamp message; do
timestamp=$(echo $timestamp | cut -d "." -f1)
ts1=$(( $(busybox date +%s) - $uptime + $timestamp ))
ts2=$(busybox date -d "@${ts1}")
printf "[%s] %s\n" "$ts2" "$message"
done
else
echo "Timestamps are disabled (/sys/module/printk/parameters/time)"
fi
Note, however, that this implementation is quite slow.
var number = parseInt($(this).find('.number').text());
var current = 600;
if (current > number)
{
// do something
}
DO NOT run php artisan migrate:fresh
that's gonna drop all the tables
You can pass multiple parameters as "?param1=value1¶m2=value2
"
But it's not secure. It's vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Attack
.
Your parameter can be simply replaced with a script.
Have a look at this article and article
You can make it secure by using API of StringEscapeUtils
static String escapeHtml(String str)
Escapes the characters in a String using HTML entities.
Even using https
url for security without above precautions is not a good practice.
Have a look at related SE question:
I don't think we have same case here, but still someone else may find it helpful.
When similar error occurred to me, it was going to be the first merge and first commit. There was nothing in on-line repository. Therefore, there was no code on git-hub, to compare with.
I simply deleted the empty repository and created new one with same name. And then there was no error.
sklearn.cross_validation
is now changed to sklearn.model_selection
Just use
from sklearn.model_selection import train_test_split
I think that will work.
I just had to uninstall HAXM and install it again. Then it started working again. Hope this helps someone!
Edit:
Oh wow, this was a long time ago. I have been using genymotion for a few months now, and never had any issues like that.
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a platform for building high-performance data integration solutions, including extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) packages for data warehousing. SSIS includes graphical tools and wizards for building and debugging packages; tasks for performing workflow functions such as FTP operations, executing SQL statements, and sending e-mail messages; data sources and destinations for extracting and loading data; transformations for cleaning, aggregating, merging, and copying data; a management database, SSISDB, for administering package execution and storage; and application programming interfaces (APIs) for programming the Integration Services object model.
As per Microsoft, the main uses of SSIS Package are:
• Merging Data from Heterogeneous Data Stores Populating Data
• Warehouses and Data Marts Cleaning and Standardizing Data Building
• Business Intelligence into a Data Transformation Process Automating
• Administrative Functions and Data Loading
For developers:
SSIS Package can be integrated with VS development environment for building Business Intelligence solutions. Business Intelligence Development Studio is the Visual Studio environment with enhancements that are specific to business intelligence solutions. It work with 32-bit development environment only.

This works fine for me,
NSFileManager *fm = [NSFileManager defaultManager];
NSArray *appSupportDir = [fm URLsForDirectory:NSDocumentsDirectory inDomains:NSUserDomainMask];
NSURL* dirPath = [[appSupportDir objectAtIndex:0] URLByAppendingPathComponent:@"YourFolderName"];
NSError* theError = nil; //error setting
if (![fm createDirectoryAtURL:dirPath withIntermediateDirectories:YES

}
Use conditional comments in HTML, like this:
<!--[if IE 8]>
<style>...</style>
<![endif]-->
See here: http://www.quirksmode.org/css/condcom.html
You can test for IE versions reliably and also be sure other browsers won't be confused.
@Quassnoi answer is good, in some cases (especially if the outer table is big), a more efficient query might be with using windowed functions, like this:
SELECT Orders.OrderNumber, LineItems2.Quantity, LineItems2.Description
FROM Orders
LEFT JOIN
(
SELECT LineItems.Quantity, LineItems.Description, OrderId, ROW_NUMBER()
OVER (PARTITION BY OrderId ORDER BY (SELECT NULL)) AS RowNum
FROM LineItems
) LineItems2 ON LineItems2.OrderId = Orders.OrderID And RowNum = 1
Sometimes you just need to test which query gives better performance.
You could also make it a post-build step. Setup a new configuration which is "Deploy" in addition to Debug and Release, and then have the post-build step copy over the correct web.config.
We use automated builds for all of our projects, and with those the build script updates the web.config file to point to the correct location. But that won't help you if you are doing everything from VS.
I had the same problem on Mac 10.7.5 with git version 1.7.12.4
When I ran gitk I got an error:
"Error in startup script: expected version number but got "Git-37)"
while executing
"package vcompare $git_version "1.6.6.2""
invoked from within
"if {[package vcompare $git_version "1.6.6.2"] >= 0} {
set show_notes "--show-notes"
}"
(file "/usr/bin/gitk" line 11587)
When I looked at the code in gitk I saw the line that sets the version.
set git_version [join [lrange [split [lindex [exec git version] end] .] 0 2] .]
This somehow parsed the git version results to Git-37
instead of 1.7.12.4
I just replaced the git_version line with:
set git_version "1.7.12.4"
HTML:
<select id="box1" onChange="myNewFunction(this);">
JavaScript:
function myNewFunction(element) {
var text = element.options[element.selectedIndex].text;
// ...
}
i guess that you have a different class name in p1.java
I will give you a simple solution for this one. In my case I don't have access to a server. In that case you can change the security policy in your Google Chrome browser to allow Access-Control-Allow-Origin. This is very simple:
Simple paste in "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --allow-file-access-from-files --disable-web-security
.
The location may differ. Now open Chrome by clicking on that shortcut.
Messing around with the same answers:
$ git config --global alias.find '!git log --color -p -S '
Now you can do
$ git find <whatever>
or
$ git find <whatever> --all
$ git find <whatever> master develop
An Iterator
moves forward only, if it read it once, it's done. Your
m.get(itr2.next());
is reading the next value of itr2.next();
, that is why you are missing a few (actually not a few, every other) keys.
The first answer is too complex, historic, and uninformative for my tastes.
It's actually rather simple. Docker provides for a functionality called multi-stage builds the basic idea here is to,
Let's start with the first. Very often with something like Debian you'll see.
RUN apt-get update \
&& apt-get dist-upgrade \
&& apt-get install <whatever> \
&& apt-get clean
We can explain all of this in terms of the above. The above command is chained together so it represents a single change with no intermediate Images required. If it was written like this,
RUN apt-get update ;
RUN apt-get dist-upgrade;
RUN apt-get install <whatever>;
RUN apt-get clean;
It would result in 3 more temporary intermediate Images. Having it reduced to one image, there is one remaining problem: apt-get clean
doesn't clean up artifacts used in the install. If a Debian maintainer includes in his install a script that modifies the system that modification will also be present in the final solution (see something like pepperflashplugin-nonfree
for an example of that).
By using a multi-stage build you get all the benefits of a single changed action, but it will require you to manually whitelist and copy over files that were introduced in the temporary image using the COPY --from
syntax documented here. Moreover, it's a great solution where there is no alternative (like an apt-get clean
), and you would otherwise have lots of un-needed files in your final image.

You lookup the value of the data with findData()
and then use setCurrentIndex()
QComboBox* combo = new QComboBox;
combo->addItem("100",100.0); // 2nd parameter can be any Qt type
combo->addItem .....
float value=100.0;
int index = combo->findData(value);
if ( index != -1 ) { // -1 for not found
combo->setCurrentIndex(index);
}
Simple:
var removedText = self.val().replace(/[^0-9]+/, '');
^ - means NOT
You have to use $_POST['date']
instead of $date
if it's coming from a POST request ($_GET if it's a GET request).
@Kunigami: I think you may be mistaken about Guava's newArrayList
method. It does not check whether the Iterable is a List type and simply return the given List as-is. It always creates a new list:
@GwtCompatible(serializable = true)
public static <E> ArrayList<E> newArrayList(Iterable<? extends E> elements) {
checkNotNull(elements); // for GWT
// Let ArrayList's sizing logic work, if possible
return (elements instanceof Collection)
? new ArrayList<E>(Collections2.cast(elements))
: newArrayList(elements.iterator());
}
If you did literally this:
encodeURIComponent('&')
Then the result is %26
, you can test it here. Make sure the string you are encoding is just &
and not &
to begin with...otherwise it is encoding correctly, which is likely the case. If you need a different result for some reason, you can do a .replace(/&/g,'&')
before the encoding.
I found a solution on Stack Overflow for Java program run configurations which also works for JUnit run configurations.
You can get the full command executed by your configuration on the Debug tab, or more specifically the Debug view.
- Run your application
- Go to your Debug perspective
- There should be an entry in there (in the Debug View) for the app you've just executed
- Right-click the node which references java.exe or javaw.exe and select Properties In the dialog that pops up you'll see the Command Line which includes all jars, parameters, etc

I saw the answers here, and it is answering the question of sharing data between controllers, but what should I do if I want one controller to notify the other about the fact that the data has been changed (without using broadcast)? EASY! Just using the famous visitor pattern:
myApp.service('myService', function() {
var visitors = [];
var registerVisitor = function (visitor) {
visitors.push(visitor);
}
var notifyAll = function() {
for (var index = 0; index < visitors.length; ++index)
visitors[index].visit();
}
var myData = ["some", "list", "of", "data"];
var setData = function (newData) {
myData = newData;
notifyAll();
}
var getData = function () {
return myData;
}
return {
registerVisitor: registerVisitor,
setData: setData,
getData: getData
};
}
myApp.controller('firstController', ['$scope', 'myService',
function firstController($scope, myService) {
var setData = function (data) {
myService.setData(data);
}
}
]);
myApp.controller('secondController', ['$scope', 'myService',
function secondController($scope, myService) {
myService.registerVisitor(this);
this.visit = function () {
$scope.data = myService.getData();
}
$scope.data = myService.getData();
}
]);
In this simple manner, one controller can update another controller that some data has been updated.

Calling window.location.reload()
works like clicking refresh icon on FF, it adds the line
Cache-Control max-age=0
while setting window.location.href
works like pressing ENTER in URL line, it does not send that line.
Though both are sent as GET, the first (reload) is restoring the previous data and the application is in inconsistent state.

Answer to an old question as no answer here seem to address the 'warning' problem (explanation follows)
Basically, in this case of checking if a key exists in an array, isset
and array_key_exists
So how do we check if a key exists which value may be null in a variable
without getting a warning, without missing the existing key when its value is null (what were the PHP devs thinking would also be an interesting question, but certainly not relevant on SO). And of course we don't want to use @
isset($var[$key]); // silent but misses null values
array_key_exists($key, $var); // works but warning if $var not defined/array
It seems is_array
should be involved in the equation, but it gives a warning if $var
is not defined, so that could be a solution:
if (isset($var[$key]) ||
isset($var) && is_array($var) && array_key_exists($key, $var)) ...
which is likely to be faster if the tests are mainly on non-null values. Otherwise for an array with mostly null values
if (isset($var) && is_array($var) && array_key_exists($key, $var)) ...
will do the work.
This will allow you to clear all the rows and maintain the format of the DataTable
.
dt.Rows.Clear();
There is also
dt.Clear();
However, calling Clear()
on the DataTable
(dt
) will remove the Columns and formatting from the DataTable.
Per code found in an MSDN question, an internal method is called by both the DataRowsCollection
, and DataTable
with a different boolean
parameter:
internal void Clear(bool clearAll)
{
if (clearAll) // true is sent from the Data Table call
{
for (int i = 0; i < this.recordCapacity; i++)
{
this.rows[i] = null;
}
int count = this.table.columnCollection.Count;
for (int j = 0; j < count; j++)
{
DataColumn column = this.table.columnCollection[j];
for (int k = 0; k < this.recordCapacity; k++)
{
column.FreeRecord(k);
}
}
this.lastFreeRecord = 0;
this.freeRecordList.Clear();
}
else // False is sent from the DataRow Collection
{
this.freeRecordList.Capacity = this.freeRecordList.Count + this.table.Rows.Count;
for (int m = 0; m < this.recordCapacity; m++)
{
if ((this.rows[m] != null) && (this.rows[m].rowID != -1))
{
int record = m;
this.FreeRecord(ref record);
}
}
}
}
you can create and initialize array of any object like this.
hero:Hero[]=[];
>>> l = [19, 1, 2, 3, 4, 20, 20]
>>> sorted(set(l))[-2]
19
I had a similar problem . For this you can use a Hashmap which takes "string" and "object" as shown in code below:
/** stores the image database icons */
public static int[] imageIconDatabase = { R.drawable.ball,
R.drawable.catmouse, R.drawable.cube, R.drawable.fresh,
R.drawable.guitar, R.drawable.orange, R.drawable.teapot,
R.drawable.india, R.drawable.thailand, R.drawable.netherlands,
R.drawable.srilanka, R.drawable.pakistan,
};
private void initializeImageList() {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
for (int i = 0; i < imageIconDatabase.length; i++) {
map = new HashMap<String, Object>();
map.put("Name", imageNameDatabase[i]);
map.put("Icon", imageIconDatabase[i]);
}
}
Use isinstance(object, type)
. As above this is easy to use if you know the correct type
, e.g.,
isinstance('dog', str) ## gives bool True
But for more esoteric objects, this can be difficult to use. For example:
import numpy as np
a = np.array([1,2,3])
isinstance(a,np.array) ## breaks
but you can do this trick:
y = type(np.array([1]))
isinstance(a,y) ## gives bool True
So I recommend instantiating a variable (y
in this case) with a type of the object you want to check (e.g., type(np.array())
), then using isinstance
.
The reason I like Rcpp so much is that I don't always get how R Core thinks, and with Rcpp, more often than not, I don't have to.
Speaking philosophically, you're in a state of sin with regards to the functional paradigm, which tries to ensure that every value appears independent of every other value; changing one value should never cause a visible change in another value, the way you get with pointers sharing representation in C.
The problems arise when functional programming signals the small craft to move out of the way, and the small craft replies "I'm a lighthouse". Making a long series of small changes to a large object which you want to process on in the meantime puts you square into lighthouse territory.
In the C++ STL, push_back()
is a way of life. It doesn't try to be functional, but it does try to accommodate common programming idioms efficiently.
With some cleverness behind the scenes, you can sometimes arrange to have one foot in each world. Snapshot based file systems are a good example (which evolved from concepts such as union mounts, which also ply both sides).
If R Core wanted to do this, underlying vector storage could function like a union mount. One reference to the vector storage might be valid for subscripts 1:N
, while another reference to the same storage is valid for subscripts 1:(N+1)
. There could be reserved storage not yet validly referenced by anything but convenient for a quick push_back()
. You don't violate the functional concept when appending outside the range that any existing reference considers valid.
Eventually appending rows incrementally, you run out of reserved storage. You'll need to create new copies of everything, with the storage multiplied by some increment. The STL implementations I've use tend to multiply storage by 2 when extending allocation. I thought I read in R Internals that there is a memory structure where the storage increments by 20%. Either way, growth operations occur with logarithmic frequency relative to the total number of elements appended. On an amortized basis, this is usually acceptable.
As tricks behind the scenes go, I've seen worse. Every time you push_back()
a new row onto the dataframe, a top level index structure would need to be copied. The new row could append onto shared representation without impacting any old functional values. I don't even think it would complicate the garbage collector much; since I'm not proposing push_front()
all references are prefix references to the front of the allocated vector storage.
Adding to Cheeken's answer, This is how you sort a list of tuples by the 2nd item in descending order.
sorted([('abc', 121),('abc', 231),('abc', 148), ('abc',221)],key=lambda x: x[1], reverse=True)
I've made an answer with some more details here : https://stackoverflow.com/a/11045462/592477
Or you can read it there ==>
When you use loadbalancing it means you have several instances of tomcat and you need to divide loads.
In my experience, a "typical" use of eval is for running commands that generate shell commands to set environment variables.
Perhaps you have a system that uses a collection of environment variables, and you have a script or program that determines which ones should be set and their values. Whenever you run a script or program, it runs in a forked process, so anything it does directly to environment variables is lost when it exits. But that script or program can send the export commands to stdout.
Without eval, you would need to redirect stdout to a temp file, source the temp file, and then delete it. With eval, you can just:
eval "$(script-or-program)"
Note the quotes are important. Take this (contrived) example:
# activate.sh
echo 'I got activated!'
# test.py
print("export foo=bar/baz/womp")
print(". activate.sh")
$ eval $(python test.py)
bash: export: `.': not a valid identifier
bash: export: `activate.sh': not a valid identifier
$ eval "$(python test.py)"
I got activated!
Two ways:
If your class has a no-arg constructor, you can get a Class
object using Class.forName()
and use the newInstance()
method to create an instance (though beware that this method is often considered evil because it can defeat Java's checked exceptions).
For example:
Class<?> clazz = Class.forName("java.util.Date");
Object date = clazz.newInstance();
An alternative safer approach which also works if the class doesn't have any no-arg constructors is to query your class object to get its Constructor
object and call a newInstance()
method on this object:
Class<?> clazz = Class.forName("com.foo.MyClass");
Constructor<?> constructor = clazz.getConstructor(String.class, Integer.class);
Object instance = constructor.newInstance("stringparam", 42);
Both methods are known as reflection. You will typically have to catch the various exceptions which can occur, including things like:
With \v

head=n;
}
else
{
struct Node *c=new struct Node;
int count=1;
c=head;
while(count!=position)
{
c=c->next;
count++;
}
n->next=c->next;
c->next=n;

Seems that in my case the problem was in that the "Google APIs ARM EABI v7a System Image" wasn't automatically installed during installation of Android Studio.
After installing the image, the emulator began to work.
As of iOS 10, videos now can autoplay, but only of they are either muted, or have no audio track. Yay!
In short:
<video autoplay>
elements will now honor the autoplay attribute, for
elements which meet the following conditions:
<video>
elements will be allowed to autoplay without a user gesture if their source media contains no audio tracks.<video muted>
elements will also be allowed to autoplay without a user gesture.<video>
element gains an audio track or becomes un-muted without a user gesture, playback will pause.<video autoplay>
elements will only begin playing when visible on-screen such as when they are scrolled into the viewport, made
visible through CSS, and inserted into the DOM.<video autoplay>
elements will pause if they become non-visible, such as by being scrolled out of the viewport.More info here: https://webkit.org/blog/6784/new-video-policies-for-ios/
As others mentioned, unions combined with enumerations and wrapped into structs can be used to implement tagged unions. One practical use is to implement Rust's Result<T, E>
, which is originally implemented using a pure enum
(Rust can hold additional data in enumeration variants). Here is a C++ example:
template <typename T, typename E> struct Result {
public:
enum class Success : uint8_t { Ok, Err };
Result(T val) {
m_success = Success::Ok;
m_value.ok = val;
}
Result(E val) {
m_success = Success::Err;
m_value.err = val;
}
inline bool operator==(const Result& other) {
return other.m_success == this->m_success;
}
inline bool operator!=(const Result& other) {
return other.m_success != this->m_success;
}
inline T expect(const char* errorMsg) {
if (m_success == Success::Err) throw errorMsg;
else return m_value.ok;
}
inline bool is_ok() {
return m_success == Success::Ok;
}
inline bool is_err() {
return m_success == Success::Err;
}
inline const T* ok() {
if (is_ok()) return m_value.ok;
else return nullptr;
}
inline const T* err() {
if (is_err()) return m_value.err;
else return nullptr;
}
// Other methods from https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/result/enum.Result.html
private:
Success m_success;
union _val_t { T ok; E err; } m_value;
}
Add the following to your /etc/bashrc file. This script adds a resident "function" instead of an alias called "confirm".
function confirm( )
{
#alert the user what they are about to do.
echo "About to $@....";
#confirm with the user
read -r -p "Are you sure? [Y/n]" response
case "$response" in
[yY][eE][sS]|[yY])
#if yes, then execute the passed parameters
"$@"
;;
*)
#Otherwise exit...
echo "ciao..."
exit
;;
esac
}
I also had to come up with an alternate solution, as none of the options listed here worked in my case. I was using an IEnumerable and the underlying data was a IEnumerable and the properties couldn't be enumerated. This did the trick:
// remove "this" if not on C# 3.0 / .NET 3.5
public static DataTable ConvertToDataTable<T>(this IEnumerable<T> data)
{
List<IDataRecord> list = data.Cast<IDataRecord>().ToList();
PropertyDescriptorCollection props = null;
DataTable table = new DataTable();
if (list != null && list.Count > 0)
{
props = TypeDescriptor.GetProperties(list[0]);
for (int i = 0; i < props.Count; i++)
{
PropertyDescriptor prop = props[i];
table.Columns.Add(prop.Name, Nullable.GetUnderlyingType(prop.PropertyType) ?? prop.PropertyType);
}
}
if (props != null)
{
object[] values = new object[props.Count];
foreach (T item in data)
{
for (int i = 0; i < values.Length; i++)
{
values[i] = props[i].GetValue(item) ?? DBNull.Value;
}
table.Rows.Add(values);
}
}
return table;
}
The easiest way is to use lubridate:
library(lubridate)
prods.all$Date2 <- mdy(prods.all$Date2)
This function automatically returns objects of class POSIXct
and will work with either factors or characters.
Task.WaitAll
blocks the current thread until everything has completed.
Task.WhenAll
returns a task which represents the action of waiting until everything has completed.
That means that from an async method, you can use:
await Task.WhenAll(tasks);
... which means your method will continue when everything's completed, but you won't tie up a thread to just hang around until that time.
name = ( (city.getName() == null)? "N/A" : city.getName() );
firstly the condition (city.getName() == null)
is checked. If yes, then "N/A"
is assigned to name or simply name="N/A"
or else the value from city.getName()
is assigned to name, i.e. name=city.getName()
.
Things to look out here:
(city.getName() == null)?
. Here the question mark is right after the condition. Easy to see/read/guess even!:
) and value right of colon
(a) value left of colon is assigned when condition is true, else the value right of colon is assigned to the variable. here's a reference: http://www.cafeaulait.org/course/week2/43.html

The solution is much too big. Try this simple one. Please provide a 7+ character buffer, no check made.
char *i2str(int i, char *buf){
byte l=0;
if(i<0) buf[l++]='-';
boolean leadingZ=true;
for(int div=10000, mod=0; div>0; div/=10){
mod=i%div;
i/=div;
if(!leadingZ || i!=0){
leadingZ=false;
buf[l++]=i+'0';
}
i=mod;
}
buf[l]=0;
return buf;
}
Can be easily modified to give back end of buffer, if you discard index 'l' and increment the buffer directly.
I've written a library that is up-to-date, since all the other answers are outdated:
Look at Morris in-order tree traversal which uses constant space and runs in O(n) (up to 3 times longer than your normal recursive traversal - but you save hugely on space). If the nodes are modifiable, than you could save the calculated result of the sub-tree as you backtrack to its root (by writing directly to the Node).
I changed it to always "cold boot" to fix my problem. Prior to this, when I ran adb devices
it always showed as offline
.
The ErrorDocument
directive, when supplied a local URL path, expects the path to be fully qualified from the DocumentRoot
. In your case, this means that the actual path to the ErrorDocument
is
ErrorDocument 404 /hellothere/error/404page.html
android:scaleType ="centerInside" --> this line use to center an image,, but you need to keep height and width of an image as wrap_context

android:id ="@+id/imageView6"
android:layout_width ="wrap_content"
android:layout_height ="wrap_content"
android:scaleType ="centerInside"
android:layout_marginTop ="20dp"

var myDate = new Date();
var prettyDate =(myDate.getMonth()+1) + '/' + myDate.getDate() + '/' +
myDate.getFullYear();
$("#date_pretty").val(prettyDate);
seemed to work, but there might be a better way out there..
I got this error when I only updated the jquery library without updating the jqueryui library in parallel. I was using jquery 1.8.3 with jqueryui 1.9.0. However, when I updated jquery 1.8.3 to 1.9.1 I got the above error. When I commented out the offending .close
method lines, it then threw an error about not finding .browser
in the jquery library which was deprecated in jquery 1.8.3 and removed from jquery 1.9.1. So bascially, the jquery 1.9.1 library was not compatible with the jquery ui 1.9.0 library despite the jquery ui download page saying it works with jquery 1.6+. Essentially, there are unreported bugs when trying to use differing versions of the two. If you use the jquery version that comes bundled with the jqueryui download, I'm sure you'll be fine, but it's when you start using different versions that you off the beaten path and get errors like this. So, in summary, this error is from mis-matched versions (in my case anyway).
Fully async version with ES6, only native packages, fs.promises and async/await, does file operations in parallel:
const fs = require('fs');
const path = require('path');
async function listDirectories(rootPath) {
const fileNames = await fs.promises.readdir(rootPath);
const filePaths = fileNames.map(fileName => path.join(rootPath, fileName));
const filePathsAndIsDirectoryFlagsPromises = filePaths.map(async filePath => ({path: filePath, isDirectory: (await fs.promises.stat(filePath)).isDirectory()}))
const filePathsAndIsDirectoryFlags = await Promise.all(filePathsAndIsDirectoryFlagsPromises);
return filePathsAndIsDirectoryFlags.filter(filePathAndIsDirectoryFlag => filePathAndIsDirectoryFlag.isDirectory)
.map(filePathAndIsDirectoryFlag => filePathAndIsDirectoryFlag.path);
}
Tested, it works nicely.
Well, certainly
frames / sec = 1 / (sec / frame)
But, as you point out, there's a lot of variation in the time it takes to render a single frame, and from a UI perspective updating the fps value at the frame rate is not usable at all (unless the number is very stable).
What you want is probably a moving average or some sort of binning / resetting counter.
For example, you could maintain a queue data structure which held the rendering times for each of the last 30, 60, 100, or what-have-you frames (you could even design it so the limit was adjustable at run-time). To determine a decent fps approximation you can determine the average fps from all the rendering times in the queue:
fps = # of rendering times in queue / total rendering time
When you finish rendering a new frame you enqueue a new rendering time and dequeue an old rendering time. Alternately, you could dequeue only when the total of the rendering times exceeded some preset value (e.g. 1 sec). You can maintain the "last fps value" and a last updated timestamp so you can trigger when to update the fps figure, if you so desire. Though with a moving average if you have consistent formatting, printing the "instantaneous average" fps on each frame would probably be ok.
Another method would be to have a resetting counter. Maintain a precise (millisecond) timestamp, a frame counter, and an fps value. When you finish rendering a frame, increment the counter. When the counter hits a pre-set limit (e.g. 100 frames) or when the time since the timestamp has passed some pre-set value (e.g. 1 sec), calculate the fps:
fps = # frames / (current time - start time)
Then reset the counter to 0 and set the timestamp to the current time.
Having html collection of selects you can check if every select has option with specific value and filter those which don't match condition:
//get select collection:
let selects = $('select')
//reduce if select hasn't at least one option with value 1
.filter(function () { return [...this.children].some(el => el.value == 1) });
>>> source_list = ('1','a'),('2','b'),('3','c'),('4','d')
>>> list1, list2 = zip(*source_list)
>>> list1
('1', '2', '3', '4')
>>> list2
('a', 'b', 'c', 'd')
Edit: Note that zip(*iterable)
is its own inverse:
>>> list(source_list) == zip(*zip(*source_list))
True
When unpacking into two lists, this becomes:
>>> list1, list2 = zip(*source_list)
>>> list(source_list) == zip(list1, list2)
True
Addition suggested by rocksportrocker.
Angular comes with a limitTo:limit filter, it support limiting first x items and last x items:
<div ng-repeat="item in items|limitTo:4">{{item}}</div>

Fistly, Code Blocks is not a compiler. It is just an integrated development environment.
So, you must show the path of your compiler at first, (if you dont have a compiler you have to download an install, it is not difficult to find. f.e. GCC is good one.) If code blocks could not find automatically the path of compiler it is an obligation to show it yourself.
But when you install, probably Code Blocks automatically find your compiler.
Enjoy.
I found a solution.

Using some of the info in here I ended up creating my own function to use.
Could be used as...
custom_alert();
custom_alert( 'Display Message' );
custom_alert( 'Display Message', 'Set Title' );
jQuery UI Alert Replacement
function custom_alert( message, title ) {
if ( !title )
title = 'Alert';
if ( !message )
message = 'No Message to Display.';
$('<div></div>').html( message ).dialog({
title: title,
resizable: false,
modal: true,
buttons: {
'Ok': function() {
$( this ).dialog( 'close' );
}
}
});
}
Topic is old but for future readers:
This feature is tightly related to Discriminated Unions
which is not implemented in C# so far. I found its issue here:
https://github.com/dotnet/csharplang/issues/113
This issue is still open and feature has been planned for C# 10
So still we have to wait a bit more, but after releasing you can do it this way:
static bool IntegerFunction<T>(T value) where T : Int16 | Int32 | Int64 | ...
You can try converting your image from tiff to PNG, here is how to do it:

I've tried different ways of blocking scrolling when the arrow keys are pressed, both jQuery and native Javascript - they all work fine in Firefox, but don't work in recent versions of Chrome.
Even the explicit {passive: false}
property for window.addEventListener
, which is recommended as the only working solution, for example here.
In the end, after many tries, I found a way that works for me in both Firefox and Chrome:
window.addEventListener('keydown', (e) => {
if (e.target.localName != 'input') { // if you need to filter <input> elements
switch (e.keyCode) {
case 37: // left
case 39: // right
e.preventDefault();
break;
case 38: // up
case 40: // down
e.preventDefault();
break;
default:
break;
}
}
}, {
capture: true, // this disables arrow key scrolling in modern Chrome
passive: false // this is optional, my code works without it
});

Layman's terms, it's dummy data (or fake data, test data...etc.) that you can use to test or develop your code against until you (or the other party) is ready to present/receive real data. It's a programmer's "Lorem Ipsum".
Employee database not ready? Make up a simple one with Jane Doe, John Doe...etc. API not ready? Make up a fake one by creating a static .json file containing fake data.
From Docker documentation:
docker export
does not export the contents of volumes associated with the container. If a volume is mounted on top of an existing directory in the container,docker export
will export the contents of the underlying directory, not the contents of the volume. Refer to Backup, restore, or migrate data volumes in the user guide for examples on exporting data in a volume.
Try to put this in your CSS file.
td {
text-align: center;
vertical-align: middle;

Also don't miss TortoiseGit... https://tortoisegit.org/
Try this:
var count =0;
$('input[name="radioGroup"]').each(function(){
if (this.checked)
{
count++;
}
});
If any of radio button checked than you will get 1
Everything that interacts with the UI must be called in the UI thread (unless it is a frozen object). To do that, you can use the dispatcher.
var disp = /* Get the UI dispatcher, each WPF object has a dispatcher which you can query*/
disp.BeginInvoke(DispatcherPriority.Normal,
(Action)(() => /*Do your UI Stuff here*/));
I use BeginInvoke here, usually a backgroundworker doesn't need to wait that the UI updates. If you want to wait, you can use Invoke
. But you should be careful not to call BeginInvoke to fast to often, this can get really nasty.
By the way, The BackgroundWorker class helps with this kind of taks. It allows Reporting changes, like a percentage and dispatches this automatically from the Background thread into the ui thread. For the most thread <> update ui tasks the BackgroundWorker is a great tool.
You can also compile it from source like this
git clone git://github.com/ry/node.git
cd node
./configure
make
sudo make install
Find detailed instructions here http://howtonode.org/how-to-install-nodejs
Use public_path()
For reference:
// Path to the project's root folder
echo base_path();
// Path to the 'app' folder
echo app_path();
// Path to the 'public' folder
echo public_path();
// Path to the 'storage' folder
echo storage_path();
// Path to the 'storage/app' folder
echo storage_path('app');
Instead of using the new pragmas, you can also use __attribute__((optimize("O0")))
for your needs. This has the advantage of just applying to a single function and not all functions defined in the same file.
Usage example:
void __attribute__((optimize("O0"))) foo(unsigned char data) {
// unmodifiable compiler code
}
I had the same problem
Here is the Solution that might work for you. It worked for me
GridView1.DataBind();
if (GridView1.Columns.Count > 0)
GridView1.Columns[0].Visible = false;
else
{
GridView1.HeaderRow.Cells[0].Visible = false;
foreach (GridViewRow gvr in GridView1.Rows)
{
gvr.Cells[0].Visible = false;
}
}
The top border of frame is of size 30.You can write code for printing the coordinate of any point on the frame using MouseInputAdapter.You will find when the cursor is just below the top border of the frame the y coordinate is not zero , its close to 30.Hence if you give size to frame 300 * 300 , the size available for putting the components on the frame is only 300 * 270.So if you need to have size 300 * 300 ,give 300 * 330 size of the frame.
There is a better solution than the accepted answer, specifically using data-* attributes. Setting the id to 1 will cause you issues if any other element on the page has id=1. Instead, you can do:
<button class="btn btn-primary" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#yourModalID" data-yourparameter="whateverYouWant">Load</button>
<script>
$('#yourModalID').on('show.bs.modal', function(e) {
var yourparameter = e.relatedTarget.dataset.yourparameter;
// Do some stuff w/ it.
});
</script>
var parentDiv = pDoc.parentElement
edit: this is sometimes parentNode
in some cases.

If you require your keys to be any object rather than just strings, then you could use my jshashtable.
As everyone posted it's own solution here is mine, cause I wanted something easier to write for the user : https://gist.github.com/gwenzek/78355526e476e08bb34d
The gist contains a code file, plus a test file and a short example copied here:
import ***.ArgsOps._
object Example {
val parser = ArgsOpsParser("--someInt|-i" -> 4, "--someFlag|-f", "--someWord" -> "hello")
def main(args: Array[String]){
val argsOps = parser <<| args
val someInt : Int = argsOps("--someInt")
val someFlag : Boolean = argsOps("--someFlag")
val someWord : String = argsOps("--someWord")
val otherArgs = argsOps.args
foo(someWord, someInt, someFlag)
}
}
There is not fancy options to force a variable to be in some bounds, cause I don't feel that the parser is the best place to do so.
Note : you can have as much alias as you want for a given variable.
The only thing I know how to do is to map Caps Lock to Control, or Option, or Command. This can be done via the Keyboard & Mouse pane of System Preferences. Click on "Modifier Keys" on the bottom left and you'll be able to remap Caps Lock, Control, Option, and Command, to any of those.
@Craig: This suggests that Caps Lock can be used as a normal -- that is, non-toggle -- key. On my MacBook, since I have re-mapped Caps Lock to Control, the Caps Lock light never lights up. It simply acts like the Control key.
Joe Kington's excellent answer is already 4 years old,
Matplotlib has incrementally changed (in particular, the introduction
of the cycler
module) and the new major release, Matplotlib 2.0.x,
has introduced stylistic differences that are important from the point
of view of the colors used by default.
The color of individual lines (as well as the color of different plot
elements, e.g., markers in scatter plots) is controlled by the color
keyword argument,
plt.plot(x, y, color=my_color)
my_color
is either
(0.,0.5,0.5)
),"#008080"
(RGB) or "#008080A0"
),"k"
for black, possible values in "bgrcmykw"
),"teal"
) --- aka HTML color name (in the docs also X11/CSS4 color name),'xkcd:'
(e.g., 'xkcd:barbie pink'
),'T10'
categorical palette, (e.g., 'tab:blue'
, 'tab:olive'
),"C3"
, i.e., the letter "C"
followed by a single digit in "0-9"
).By default, different lines are plotted using different colors, that are defined by default and are used in a cyclic manner (hence the name color cycle).
The color cycle is a property of the axes
object, and in older
releases was simply a sequence of valid color names (by default a
string of one character color names, "bgrcmyk"
) and you could set it
as in
my_ax.set_color_cycle(['kbkykrkg'])
(as noted in a comment this API has been deprecated, more on this later).
In Matplotlib 2.0 the default color cycle is ["#1f77b4", "#ff7f0e", "#2ca02c", "#d62728", "#9467bd", "#8c564b", "#e377c2", "#7f7f7f", "#bcbd22", "#17becf"]
, the Vega category10 palette.
(the image is a screenshot from https://vega.github.io/vega/docs/schemes/)
The following code shows that the color cycle notion has been deprecated
In [1]: from matplotlib import rc_params
In [2]: rc_params()['axes.color_cycle']
/home/boffi/lib/miniconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/matplotlib/__init__.py:938: UserWarning: axes.color_cycle is deprecated and replaced with axes.prop_cycle; please use the latter.
warnings.warn(self.msg_depr % (key, alt_key))
Out[2]:
['#1f77b4', '#ff7f0e', '#2ca02c', '#d62728', '#9467bd',
'#8c564b', '#e377c2', '#7f7f7f', '#bcbd22', '#17becf']
Now the relevant property is the 'axes.prop_cycle'
In [3]: rc_params()['axes.prop_cycle']
Out[3]: cycler('color', ['#1f77b4', '#ff7f0e', '#2ca02c', '#d62728', '#9467bd', '#8c564b', '#e377c2', '#7f7f7f', '#bcbd22', '#17becf'])
Previously, the color_cycle
was a generic sequence of valid color
denominations, now by default it is a cycler
object containing a
label ('color'
) and a sequence of valid color denominations. The
step forward with respect to the previous interface is that it is
possible to cycle not only on the color of lines but also on other
line attributes, e.g.,
In [5]: from cycler import cycler
In [6]: new_prop_cycle = cycler('color', ['k', 'r']) * cycler('linewidth', [1., 1.5, 2.])
In [7]: for kwargs in new_prop_cycle: print(kwargs)
{'color': 'k', 'linewidth': 1.0}
{'color': 'k', 'linewidth': 1.5}
{'color': 'k', 'linewidth': 2.0}
{'color': 'r', 'linewidth': 1.0}
{'color': 'r', 'linewidth': 1.5}
{'color': 'r', 'linewidth': 2.0}
As you have seen, the cycler
objects are composable and when you iterate on a composed cycler
what you get, at each iteration, is a dictionary of keyword arguments for plt.plot
.
You can use the new defaults on a per axes
object ratio,
my_ax.set_prop_cycle(new_prop_cycle)
or you can install temporarily the new default
plt.rc('axes', prop_cycle=new_prop_cycle)
or change altogether the default editing your .matplotlibrc
file.
Last possibility, use a context manager
with plt.rc_context({'axes.prop_cycle': new_prop_cycle}):
...
to have the new cycler
used in a group of different plots, reverting to defaults at the end of the context.
The doc string of the cycler()
function is useful, but the (not so much) gory details about the cycler
module and the cycler()
function, as well as examples, can be found in the fine docs.
Go to src folder of the project and copy all the code from it to some temporary location and build the project. And now copy the actual code from temporary location to project src. And run the build again. Problem will be resolved.
Note: This is specific to eclipse.
I know this question is old, but I want to point out what worked for me.
I tried using the sample code from the Android Developers website (shown below), but it didn't work. So I checked the EditorInfo class, and I realized that the IME_ACTION_SEND integer value was specified as 0x00000004
.
Sample code from Android Developers:
editTextEmail = (EditText) findViewById(R.id.editTextEmail);
editTextEmail
.setOnEditorActionListener(new OnEditorActionListener() {
@Override
public boolean onEditorAction(TextView v, int actionId,
KeyEvent event) {
boolean handled = false;
if (actionId == EditorInfo.IME_ACTION_SEND) {
/* handle action here */
handled = true;
}
return handled;
}
});
So, I added the integer value to my res/values/integers.xml
file.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<resources>
<integer name="send">0x00000004</integer>
</resources>
Then, I edited my layout file res/layouts/activity_home.xml
as follows
<EditText android:id="@+id/editTextEmail"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:imeActionId="@integer/send"
android:imeActionLabel="@+string/send_label"
android:imeOptions="actionSend"
android:inputType="textEmailAddress"/>
And then, the sample code worked.
You can import a bunch of .java files to your existing project without creating a new project. Here are the steps:

UTL_FILE.PUT_LINE(fHandle, 'This is the third line');
UTL_FILE.FCLOSE(fHandle);

If a GPU device has, for example, 4 multiprocessing units, and they can run 768 threads each: then at a given moment no more than 4*768 threads will be really running in parallel (if you planned more threads, they will be waiting their turn).
threads are organized in blocks. A block is executed by a multiprocessing unit. The threads of a block can be indentified (indexed) using 1Dimension(x), 2Dimensions (x,y) or 3Dim indexes (x,y,z) but in any case xyz <= 768 for our example (other restrictions apply to x,y,z, see the guide and your device capability).
Obviously, if you need more than those 4*768 threads you need more than 4 blocks. Blocks may be also indexed 1D, 2D or 3D. There is a queue of blocks waiting to enter the GPU (because, in our example, the GPU has 4 multiprocessors and only 4 blocks are being executed simultaneously).
Suppose we want one thread to process one pixel (i,j).
We can use blocks of 64 threads each. Then we need 512*512/64 = 4096 blocks (so to have 512x512 threads = 4096*64)
It's common to organize (to make indexing the image easier) the threads in 2D blocks having blockDim = 8 x 8 (the 64 threads per block). I prefer to call it threadsPerBlock.
dim3 threadsPerBlock(8, 8); // 64 threads
and 2D gridDim = 64 x 64 blocks (the 4096 blocks needed). I prefer to call it numBlocks.
dim3 numBlocks(imageWidth/threadsPerBlock.x, /* for instance 512/8 = 64*/
imageHeight/threadsPerBlock.y);
The kernel is launched like this:
myKernel <<<numBlocks,threadsPerBlock>>>( /* params for the kernel function */ );
Finally: there will be something like "a queue of 4096 blocks", where a block is waiting to be assigned one of the multiprocessors of the GPU to get its 64 threads executed.
In the kernel the pixel (i,j) to be processed by a thread is calculated this way:
uint i = (blockIdx.x * blockDim.x) + threadIdx.x;
uint j = (blockIdx.y * blockDim.y) + threadIdx.y;

Just want to add one more way. Found it elsewhere, and is quite simple. Say I want to pass yes for all the prompts at command line for a command "execute_command", Then I would simply pipe yes to it.
yes | execute_command
This will use yes as the answer to all yes/no prompts.
The answer about "short-circuiting" is potentially misleading, but has some truth (see below). In the R/S language, &&
and ||
only evaluate the first element in the first argument. All other elements in a vector or list are ignored regardless of the first ones value. Those operators are designed to work with the if (cond) {} else{}
construction and to direct program control rather than construct new vectors.. The &
and the |
operators are designed to work on vectors, so they will be applied "in parallel", so to speak, along the length of the longest argument. Both vectors need to be evaluated before the comparisons are made. If the vectors are not the same length, then recycling of the shorter argument is performed.
When the arguments to &&
or ||
are evaluated, there is "short-circuiting" in that if any of the values in succession from left to right are determinative, then evaluations cease and the final value is returned.
> if( print(1) ) {print(2)} else {print(3)}
[1] 1
[1] 2
> if(FALSE && print(1) ) {print(2)} else {print(3)} # `print(1)` not evaluated
[1] 3
> if(TRUE && print(1) ) {print(2)} else {print(3)}

[1] 2
> if(TRUE && !print(1) ) {print(2)} else {print(3)}
[1] 1
[1] 3
> if(FALSE && !print(1) ) {print(2)} else {print(3)}

The advantage of short-circuiting will only appear when the arguments take a long time to evaluate. That will typically occur when the arguments are functions that either process larger objects or have mathematical operations that are more complex.
Install JavaScript Development Tools (JSDT) and AngularJS Eclipse plug-in in eclipse from Eclipse Marketplace or Update site angularjs-eclipse-0.5.0,
Right Click on your project --> Configure --> Convert to Angularjs Project
(as shown below)
Now you can see the Angularjs tags available as shown below.

Something like this?
import random
def some(x, n):
return x.ix[random.sample(x.index, n)]
Note: As of Pandas v0.20.0, ix
has been deprecated in favour of loc
for label based indexing.
Programmatically use : editText.setBackground(null)
From xml
use: android:background="@null"
As @wirey said appendTo
should work, if not then you can try this:
$("#tblEntAttributes tbody").append(newRowContent);
For me
document.addEventListener("mousewheel", this.mousewheel.bind(this), { passive: false });
did the trick (the { passive: false }
part).
Java's Scanner class does not have a built in method to read from a Scanner character-by-character.
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/Scanner.html
However, it should still be possible to fetch individual characters from the Scanner as follows:
Scanner sc:
char c = sc.findInLine(".").charAt(0);
And you could use it to fetch each character in your scanner like this:
while(sc.hasNext()){
char c = sc.findInLine(".").charAt(0);
System.out.println(c); //to print out every char in the scanner
}
The findInLine() method searches through your scanner and returns the first String that matches the regular expression you give it.
The error message says
"The path to the driver executable must be set by the webdriver.ie.driver system property;"
You are setting the path for the Chrome Driver with "webdriver.chrome.driver" property. You are not setting the file location when for InternetExplorerDriver, to do that you must set "webdriver.ie.driver" property.
You can set these properties in your shell, via maven, or your IDE with the -DpropertyName=Value
-Dwebdriver.ie.driver="C:/.../IEDriverServer.exe"
You need to use quotes because of spaces or slashes in your path on windows machines, or alternatively reverse the slashes other wise they are the string string escape prefix.
You could also use
System.setProperty("webdriver.ie.driver","C:/.../IEDriverServer.exe");
inside your code.
You can get the DOM element and set disabled attribute to true/false.
If you use vue framework,here is a very easy demo.
let vm = new Vue({
el: "#app",
data() {
return { flag: true }
},
computed: {
btnText() {
return this.flag ? "Enable" : "Disable";
}
}
})

A vertical tab was the opposite of a line feed i.e. it went upwards by one line. It had nothing to do with tab positions. If you want to prove this, try it on an RS232 terminal.
if you have more files in my case i have 7000 image files when i try to add them from project's route folder it hasn't added them but when i go to the image folder everything is ok. Go through the target folder and command like abows
git add .

Printf is actually pretty good to use if size matters. Meaning if you are running a program where memory is an issue, then printf is actually a very good and under rater solution. Cout essentially shifts bits over to make room for the string, while printf just takes in some sort of parameters and prints it to the screen. If you were to compile a simple hello world program, printf would be able to compile it in less than 60, 000 bits as opposed to cout, it would take over 1 million bits to compile.
For your situation, id suggest using cout simply because it is much more convenient to use. Although, I would argue that printf is something good to know.
When in Node.js or when using require.js in the browser, you can simply do:
let json = require('/Users/Documents/workspace/test.json');
console.log(json, 'the json obj');
Do note: the file is loaded once, subsequent calls will use the cache.
You have to do it like this:
If strMyString.Contains("Something") OrElse strMyString.Contains("Something2") Then
'[Put Code Here]
End if
Another way of doing it is defining a resources array in strings.xml like below.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <!DOCTYPE resources [
<!ENTITY supportDefaultSelection "Choose your issue">
<!ENTITY issueOption1 "Support">
<!ENTITY issueOption2 "Feedback">
<!ENTITY issueOption3 "Help">
]>
and then defining a string array using the above resources
<string-array name="support_issues_array">
<item>&supportDefaultSelection;</item>
<item>&issueOption1;</item>
<item>&issueOption2;</item>
<item>&issueOption3;</item>
</string-array>
You could refer the same string into other xmls too keeping DRY intact. The advantage I see is, with a single value change it would effect all the references in the code.
Important: This issue drove me crazy for a couple days and I couldn't figure out what was going on with my curl & openssl installations. I finally figured out that it was my intermediate certificate (in my case, GoDaddy) which was out of date. I went back to my godaddy SSL admin panel, downloaded the new intermediate certificate, and the issue disappeared.
I'm sure this is the issue for some of you.
Apparently, GoDaddy had changed their intermediate certificate at some point, due to scurity issues, as they now display this warning:
"Please be sure to use the new SHA-2 intermediate certificates included in your downloaded bundle."
Hope this helps some of you, because I was going nuts and this cleaned up the issue on ALL my servers.
None of these answers were correct in my case.. the order seems dependent on the alphabetical ordering of the <id> tag, which is an arbitrary string. Hence this forced repo search order:
<repository>
<id>1_maven.apache.org</id>
<releases> <enabled>true</enabled> </releases>
<snapshots> <enabled>true</enabled> </snapshots>
<url>https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2</url>
<layout>default</layout>
</repository>
<repository>
<id>2_maven.oracle.com</id>
<releases> <enabled>true</enabled> </releases>
<snapshots> <enabled>false</enabled> </snapshots>
<url>https://maven.oracle.com</url>
<layout>default</layout>
</repository>
I just type following keywords in the opened terminal;
See details in the below image. (VSCode version 1.19.1 - windows 10 OS)
It works on VS Code Mac as well. I tried it with VSCode (Version 1.20.1)
Bootstrap 3: In order to maintain responsive features for small and extra small devices I did the following:

If you don't want to edit each file
PYTHONPATH
to your lib
or if you are willing to add a single line to each file, add a import statement at top e.g.
import import_my_lib
keep import_my_lib.py
in bin and import_my_lib
can correctly set the python path to whatever lib
you want
Yes , You can use conditional statement with EJS like if else , ternary operator or even switch case also
For Example
Ternary operator :
<%- role == 'Admin' ? 'Super Admin' : role == 'subAdmin' ? 'Sub Admin' : role %>
Switch Case
<% switch (role) {
case 'Admin' : %>
Super Admin
<% break;
case 'eventAdmin' : %>
Event Admin
<% break;
case 'subAdmin' : %>
Sub Admin
<% break;
} %>
slight change in syntax from the accepted answer for Angular 5 and angular-cli 1.7.0
ng g service backendApi --module=app.module
Using keyword arguments is the same thing as normal arguments except order doesn't matter. For example the two functions calls below are the same:
def foo(bar, baz):
pass
foo(1, 2)
foo(baz=2, bar=1)
pattern: /[\w\W]{1,10}/g
I used this expression for my case, it includes all the characters available in the text.
My version based on the work by @mcgrailm... tweaked because the report needed to be reviewed within 3 business days, and if submitted on a weekend, the counting would start on the following Monday:
function business_days_add($start_date, $business_days, $holidays = array()) {
$current_date = strtotime($start_date);
$business_days = intval($business_days); // Decrement does not work on strings
while ($business_days > 0) {
if (date('N', $current_date) < 6 && !in_array(date('Y-m-d', $current_date), $holidays)) {
$business_days--;
}
if ($business_days > 0) {
$current_date = strtotime('+1 day', $current_date);
}
}
return $current_date;
}
And working out the difference of two dates in terms of business days:
function business_days_diff($start_date, $end_date, $holidays = array()) {
$business_days = 0;
$current_date = strtotime($start_date);
$end_date = strtotime($end_date);
while ($current_date <= $end_date) {
if (date('N', $current_date) < 6 && !in_array(date('Y-m-d', $current_date), $holidays)) {
$business_days++;
}
if ($current_date <= $end_date) {
$current_date = strtotime('+1 day', $current_date);
}
}
return $business_days;
}
As a note, everyone who is using 86400, or 24*60*60, please don't... your forgetting time changes from winter/summer time, where a day it not exactly 24 hours. While it's a little slower the strtotime('+1 day', $timestamp), it much more reliable.
Set the dimensions to the View and make sure your Image is styled with height and width set to 'undefined' like the example below :
<View style={{width: 10, height:10 }} >
<Image style= {{flex:1 , width: undefined, height: undefined}}
source={require('../yourfolder/yourimage')}
/>
</View>
This will make sure your image scales and fits perfectly into your view.
Wouldn't you just do:
srand(time(NULL));
int r = ( rand() % 6 ) + 1;
%
is the modulus operator. Essentially it will just divide by 6 and return the remainder... from 0 - 5
An entity manager can only be injected in classes running inside a transaction. In other words, it can only be injected in a EJB. Other classe must use an EntityManagerFactory to create and destroy an EntityManager.
Since your TestService is not an EJB, the annotation @PersistenceContext is simply ignored. Not only that, in JavaEE 5, it's not possible to inject an EntityManager nor an EntityManagerFactory in a JAX-RS Service. You have to go with a JavaEE 6 server (JBoss 6, Glassfish 3, etc).
Here's an example of injecting an EntityManagerFactory:
package com.test.service;
import java.util.*;
import javax.persistence.*;
import javax.ws.rs.*;
@Path("/service")
public class TestService {
@PersistenceUnit(unitName = "test")
private EntityManagerFactory entityManagerFactory;
@GET
@Path("/get")
@Produces("application/json")
public List get() {
EntityManager entityManager = entityManagerFactory.createEntityManager();
try {
return entityManager.createQuery("from TestEntity").getResultList();
} finally {
entityManager.close();
}
}
}
The easiest way to go here is to declare your service as a EJB 3.1, assuming you're using a JavaEE 6 server.
Related question: Inject an EJB into JAX-RS (RESTful service)
Can be achieved also with scriptrunner
ScriptRunner.exe -appvscript demoA.cmd arg1 arg2 -appvscriptrunnerparameters -wait -timeout=30 -rollbackonerror -appvscript demoB.ps1 arg3 arg4 -appvscriptrunnerparameters -wait -timeout=30
Which also have some features as rollback , timeout and waiting.
@Ned Batchelder and @newacct provided the right answer, but ...
Just in case if you have comma(,) decimal(.) in your string:
import re
re.sub("[^\d\.]", "", "$1,999,888.77")
'1999888.77'
For Laravel 5.x / 6.x / 7.x use:
return redirect()->away('https://www.google.com');
as stated in the docs:
Sometimes you may need to redirect to a domain outside of your application. You may do so by calling the away method, which creates a RedirectResponse without any additional URL encoding, validation, or verification:
It's been a while since this was posted but I found a more elegant solution if you are not needing to support old browsers.
You can do a check with
performance.navigation.type
Documentation including browser support is here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Performance/navigation
So to see if the page was loaded from history using back you can do
if(performance.navigation.type == 2){
location.reload(true);
}
The 2
indicates the page was accessed by navigating into the history. Other possibilities are-
0:
The page was accessed by following a link, a bookmark, a form submission, or a script, or by typing the URL in the address bar.
1:
The page was accessed by clicking the Reload button or via the Location.reload() method.
255:
Any other way
These are detailed here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/PerformanceNavigation
Note Performance.navigation.type is now deprecated in favour of PerformanceNavigationTiming.type which returns 'navigate' / 'reload' / 'back_forward' / 'prerender': https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/PerformanceNavigationTiming/type
Just a small tweak to Joaquin Alberto's answer can solve the style issue.Just replace the getDropDownView function in the custom adapter as below,
@Override
public View getDropDownView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) {
View v = super.getDropDownView(position, convertView, parent);
TextView tv = ((TextView) v);
tv.setText(values[position].getName());
tv.setTextColor(Color.BLACK);
return v;
}
You might have problem on Windows while adding jar to maven because of syntax.
Try encapsulating -D parameters with double quotas like this;
mvn install:install-file "-Dfile=ojdbc6.jar" "-DgroupId=com.oracle" "-DartifactId=ojdbc6" "-Dversion=11.2.0" "-Dpackaging=jar"
Be aware of you should use same version/atifactId/groupId inside your pom.xml. You can't use version 11.2.0.3 after command above. You have to put his in you pom.xml;
<dependency>
<groupId>com.oracle</groupId>
<artifactId>ojdbc6</artifactId>
<version>11.2.0</version>
</dependency>
If you want to use another version, like 12.1.0.1, you should run above command with that version or other info
Use a sub query similar to the below.
UPDATE P
SET extrasPrice = sub.TotalPrice from
BookingPitches p
inner join
(Select PitchID, Sum(Price) TotalPrice
from dbo.BookingPitchExtras
Where [Required] = 1
Group by Pitchid
) as Sub
on p.Id = e.PitchId
where p.BookingId = 1
Here is the code that I'm using to avoid scrolling issues:
mRecyclerView = (RecyclerView) view.findViewById(android.R.id.list);
mRecyclerView.setLayoutManager(new LinearLayoutManager(getContext()));
mRecyclerView.getLayoutManager().setAutoMeasureEnabled(true);
mRecyclerView.setNestedScrollingEnabled(false);
mRecyclerView.setHasFixedSize(false);
I'm using thread safe static class. Main idea is to queue the message on list and then save to log file each period of time, or each counter limit.
Important: You should force save file ( DirectLog.SaveToFile();
) when you exit the program. (in case that there are still some items on the list)
The use is very simple: DirectLog.Log("MyLogMessage", 5);
This is my code:
using System;
using System.IO;
using System.Collections.Generic;
namespace Mendi
{
/// <summary>
/// class used for logging misc information to log file
/// written by Mendi Barel
/// </summary>
static class DirectLog
{
readonly static int SAVE_PERIOD = 10 * 1000;// period=10 seconds
readonly static int SAVE_COUNTER = 1000;// save after 1000 messages
readonly static int MIN_IMPORTANCE = 0;// log only messages with importance value >=MIN_IMPORTANCE
readonly static string DIR_LOG_FILES = @"z:\MyFolder\";
static string _filename = DIR_LOG_FILES + @"Log." + DateTime.Now.ToString("yyMMdd.HHmm") + @".txt";
readonly static List<string> _list_log = new List<string>();
readonly static object _locker = new object();
static int _counter = 0;
static DateTime _last_save = DateTime.Now;
public static void NewFile()
{//new file is created because filename changed
SaveToFile();
lock (_locker)
{
_filename = DIR_LOG_FILES + @"Log." + DateTime.Now.ToString("yyMMdd.HHmm") + @".txt";
_counter = 0;
}
}
public static void Log(string LogMessage, int Importance)
{
if (Importance < MIN_IMPORTANCE) return;
lock (_locker)
{
_list_log.Add(String.Format("{0:HH:mm:ss.ffff},{1},{2}", DateTime.Now, LogMessage, Importance));
_counter++;
}
TimeSpan timeDiff = DateTime.Now - _last_save;
if (_counter > SAVE_COUNTER || timeDiff.TotalMilliseconds > SAVE_PERIOD)
SaveToFile();
}
public static void SaveToFile()
{
lock (_locker)
if (_list_log.Count == 0)
{
_last_save = _last_save = DateTime.Now;
return;
}
lock (_locker)
{
using (StreamWriter logfile = File.AppendText(_filename))
{
foreach (string s in _list_log) logfile.WriteLine(s);
logfile.Flush();
logfile.Close();
}
_list_log.Clear();
_counter = 0;
_last_save = DateTime.Now;
}
}
public static void ReadLog(string logfile)
{
using (StreamReader r = File.OpenText(logfile))
{
string line;
while ((line = r.ReadLine()) != null)
{
Console.WriteLine(line);
}
r.Close();
}
}
}
}
str() is used for creating output for end user while repr() is used for debuggin development.And it's represent the official of object.
Example:
>>> import datetime
>>> today = datetime.datetime.now()
>>> str(today)
'2018-04-08 18:00:15.178404'
>>> repr(today)
'datetime.datetime(2018, 4, 8, 18, 3, 21, 167886)'
From output we see that repr() shows the official representation of date object.
It looks like you would do something like this:
boost::shared_mutex _access;
void reader()
{
// get shared access
boost::shared_lock<boost::shared_mutex> lock(_access);
// now we have shared access
}
void writer()
{
// get upgradable access
boost::upgrade_lock<boost::shared_mutex> lock(_access);
// get exclusive access
boost::upgrade_to_unique_lock<boost::shared_mutex> uniqueLock(lock);
// now we have exclusive access
}
You could use the copy()
function :
// Will copy foo/test.php to bar/test.php
// overwritting it if necessary
copy('foo/test.php', 'bar/test.php');
Quoting a couple of relevant sentences from its manual page :
Makes a copy of the file source to dest.
If the destination file already exists, it will be overwritten.
On ubuntu desktop 18.04.2, I have the 'local' removed from the path when using the curl command to install the package and it works for me. See above answer by Kshitij.
If you want to harness Selenium IDE record & playback capabilities for Chrome browser there is an equivalent extension for Chrome called Scirocco. You can add it to Chrome by visiting here using your Chrome browser https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/scirocco
Scirocco is created by Sonix Asia and is not as polished as Selenium IDE for Firefox. It is in fact quite buggy in places. But it does what you ask.
To find all system generated unique constraint names and other information related to it on any database.
You may use below query and enhance it as per your need:
SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.CONSTRAINT_COLUMN_USAGE WHERE CONSTRAINT_NAME LIKE '%UQ%'
Final query to drop all unique constraint through database. You may add where clause to restrict it to one table:
DECLARE @uqQuery NVARCHAR(MAX)
SET @uqQuery = SUBSTRING( (SELECT '; ' + 'ALTER TABLE [' + Table_Schema+'].['+Table_Name
+'] DROP CONSTRAINT ['+CONSTRAINT_NAME+']'
FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.CONSTRAINT_COLUMN_USAGE WHERE CONSTRAINT_NAME LIKE '%UQ%'
FOR XML PATH('')), 2, 2000000)
SELECT @uqQuery
You can use the XMLHttpRequest
object as follows:
xhr.open("POST", url, true);
xhr.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8");
xhr.send(someStuff);
That code would post someStuff
to url
. Just make sure that when you create your XMLHttpRequest
object, it will be cross-browser compatible. There are endless examples out there of how to do that.
The post needs an update after the links
option is deprecated.
Basically, links
is no longer needed because its main purpose, making container reachable by another by adding environment variable, is included implicitly with network
. When containers are placed in the same network, they are reachable by each other using their container name and other alias as host.
For docker run
, --link
is also deprecated and should be replaced by a custom network.
docker network create mynet
docker run -d --net mynet --name container1 my_image
docker run -it --net mynet --name container1 another_image
depends_on
expresses start order (and implicitly image pulling order), which was a good side effect of links
.
You can use "transparent" as a colour. In some versions of IE, that comes up as black, but I've not tested it out since the IE6 days.
http://www.researchkitchen.de/blog/archives/css-bordercolor-transparent.php
public void showSimpleDialog(View view) {

builder.setPositiveButton("OK!!!", new DialogInterface.OnClickListener() {
@Override

})
.setNegativeButton("Cancel ", new DialogInterface.OnClickListener() {
@Override

// Create the AlertDialog object and return it
builder.create().show();
}
Also check out my blog on Dialogs in Android, you will find all the details here: http://www.fahmapps.com/2016/09/26/dialogs-in-android-part1/.
This is how I managed to do what I was trying to do:
[Test]
public void TransferHandlesDisconnect()
{
// ... set up config here
var methodTester = new Mock<Transfer>(configInfo);
methodTester.CallBase = true;
methodTester
.Setup(m =>
m.GetFile(
It.IsAny<IFileConnection>(),
It.IsAny<string>(),
It.IsAny<string>()
))
.Throws<System.IO.IOException>();
methodTester.Object.TransferFiles("foo1", "foo2");
Assert.IsTrue(methodTester.Object.Status == TransferStatus.TransferInterrupted);
}
If there is a problem with this method, I would like to know; the other answers suggest I am doing this wrong, but this was exactly what I was trying to do.
