I know the thread is too old to post an answer. But still i think it is worth it.

Though you can't have an explicit constructor, if your intention is to call the constructor of the super class, then the following is all you have to do.

This is an example of creating a StoredProcedure object in Spring by passing a DataSource and a String object.

So the Bottom line is, if you want to create an anonymous class and want to call the super class constructor then create the anonymous class with a signature matching the super class constructor.

I like @AntouanK's approach. I often find myself offering a function with different numbers o parameters and different types. Sometimes they don't follow a order. I use to map looking the types of parameters:

1. There can be only one variable argument in the method.
2. Variable argument (varargs) must be the last argument.

You can declare an overloaded function by declaring the function as having a type which has multiple invocation signatures:

In the time since this question was asked, standard C (no extensions) has effectively gained support for function overloading (not operators), thanks to the addition of the _Generic keyword in C11. (supported in GCC since version 4.9)

(Overloading isn't truly "built-in" in the fashion shown in the question, but it's dead easy to implement something that works like that.)

_Generic is a compile-time operator in the same family as sizeof and _Alignof. It is described in standard section 6.5.1.1. It accepts two main parameters: an expression (which will not be evaluated at runtime), and a type/expression association list that looks a bit like a switch block. _Generic gets the overall type of the expression and then "switches" on it to select the end result expression in the list for its type:

The above expression evaluates to 2 - the type of the controlling expression is int, so it chooses the expression associated with int as the value. Nothing of this remains at runtime. (The default clause is optional: if you leave it off and the type doesn't match, it will cause a compilation error.)

The way this is useful for function overloading is that it can be inserted by the C preprocessor and choose a result expression based on the type of the arguments passed to the controlling macro. So (example from the C standard):

This macro implements an overloaded cbrt operation, by dispatching on the type of the argument to the macro, choosing an appropriate implementation function, and then passing the original macro argument to that function.

For more complicated situations, e.g. functions overloading larger numbers of arguments, or varying numbers, you can use utility macros to automatically generate static dispatch structures:

(implementation here) So with some effort, you can reduce the amount of boilerplate to looking pretty much like a language with native support for overloading.

As an aside, it was already possible to overload on the number of arguments (not the type) in C99.

[1] note that the way C evaluates types might trip you up though. This will choose foo_int if you try to pass it a character literal, for instance, and you need to mess about a bit if you want your overloads to support string literals. Still overall pretty cool though.

Definitely a matter of style. I prefer constructors with default parameters, so long as the parameters make sense. Classes in the standard use them as well, which speaks in their favor.

One thing to watch out for is if you have defaults for all but one parameter, your class can be implicitly converted from that parameter type. Check out this thread for more info.

PHP does not support overloading for now. Hope this will be implemented in the other versions like other programming languages.

I think your basic requirement is to have a C/C++-like syntax in Python with the least headache possible. Although I liked Alexander Poluektov's answer it doesn't work for classes.

The following should work for classes. It works by distinguishing by the number of non-keyword arguments (but it doesn't support distinguishing by type):

I might be stating the obvious here but why not simply implement the "default" parameter yourself?

Method overriding is when a child class redefines the same method as a parent class, with the same parameters. For example, the standard Java class java.util.LinkedHashSet extends java.util.HashSet. The method add() is overridden in LinkedHashSet. If you have a variable that is of type HashSet, and you call its add() method, it will call the appropriate implementation of add(), based on whether it is a HashSet or a LinkedHashSet. This is called polymorphism.

Method overloading is defining several methods in the same class, that accept different numbers and types of parameters. In this case, the actual method called is decided at compile-time, based on the number and types of arguments. For instance, the method System.out.println() is overloaded, so that you can pass ints as well as Strings, and it will call a different version of the method.

I think the best practice is to have single primary constructor to which the overloaded constructors refer to by calling this() with the relevant parameter defaults. The reason for this is that it makes it much clearer what is the constructed state of the object is - really you can think of the primary constructor as the only real constructor, the others just delegate to it

One example of this might be JTable - the primary constructor takes a TableModel (plus column and selection models) and the other constructors call this primary constructor.

For subclasses where the superclass already has overloaded constructors, I would tend to assume that it is reasonable to treat any of the parent class's constructors as primary and think it is perfectly legitimate not to have a single primary constructor. For example,when extending Exception, I often provide 3 constructors, one taking just a String message, one taking a Throwable cause and the other taking both. Each of these constructors calls super directly.

Polymorphism simply means "Many Forms".

It does not REQUIRE inheritance to achieve...as interface implementation, which is not inheritance at all, serves polymorphic needs. Arguably, interface implementation serves polymorphic needs "Better" than inheritance.

For example, would you create a super-class to describe all things that can fly? I should think not. You would be be best served to create an interface that describes flight and leave it at that.

So, since interfaces describe behavior, and method names describe behavior (to the programmer), it is not too far of a stretch to consider method overloading as a lesser form of polymorphism.

Go language does not support method overloading, but you can use variadic args just like optional parameters, also you can use interface{} as parameter but it is not a good choice.

static methods are class level methods.

If you like you could mark all entities as protected inside the main ApplicationDbContext, then create additional contexts as needed for each separation of schemas.

They all use the same connection string, however they use separate connections, so do not cross transactions and be aware of locking issues. Generally your designing separation so this shouldn't happen anyway.

If your column is of type DATE (as you say), then you don't need to convert it into a string first (in fact you would convert it implicitly to a string first, then explicitly to a date and again explicitly to a string):

The date format your seeing for your column is an artifact of the tool your using (TOAD, SQL Developer etc.) and it's language settings.

I take it you are asking what the return value is in the comparison function.

If the dates are equal then returning NSOrderedSame

If ascending ( 2nd arg > 1st arg ) return NSOrderedAscending

If descending ( 2nd arg < 1st arg ) return NSOrderedDescending

Answering the question: to remove the last character, just use:string = string[:-1].

If you want to remove the last '\' if there is one (or if there is more than one):

1 - Something that might work

The pip executable is actually a Python script.

By default it contains (on Linux):

But this is a default. You can still provide the version of python you want either by editing the file or by using python explicitly.

If which python returns /usr/bin/python then something went wrong when you installed your own version. If it is /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/bin/python, you can directly call:

sudo python `which pip` install scikit-learn --upgrade

However, chances are high that it won't work. The reason is that sudo is resetting all your environment variables. To make it work, the easiest would be to use:

sudo -E pip install scikit-learn --upgrade

or

sudo -E python `which pip` install scikit-learn --upgrade

depending on your setup.

2 - What you should do

pip was not thought of as something that root should execute. The actual best way to use it is to install a local, non-root, python version. You just have to make sure that you use it by default by setting up the correct environment variables (such as PATH on Linux) and then install pip without sudo using that python version.

An even better way would be to setup virtualenvs from your root install.

This way, you can install/update whatever you want without root privileges and never bother again about why sudo pip is not working. You would also avoid to provide root privileges to whatever is on Pypi and that would warrant that you don't mix system libs with your own.

To convert the private key from PKCS#1 to PKCS#8 with openssl:

And for yet another option, I'd go with awk!

This will split the input (I'm using STDIN here, but your input could easily be a file) on spaces, and then print out the last-but-one field, and then the last field. The $NF variables hold the number of fields found after exploding on spaces.

The benefit of this is that it doesn't matter if what precedes the last two fields changes, as long as you only ever want the last two it'll continue to work.

You can compress the bitmap as an byte's array and then uncompress it in another activity, like this.

So the way I got around this was in the command where i would normally run npm install or npm ci, i added NODE_ENV=build, and then NODE_ENV=production after the command, so my entire command came out to:

So far I haven't had any bad reactions, and my development dependencies which are used for building the application all worked / loaded correctly.

I find this to be a better solution than adding an additional command like npm install --only=dev because it takes less time, and enables me to use the npm ci command, which is faster and specifically designed to be run inside CI tools / build scripts. (See npi-ci documentation for more information on it)

Turned out there was some extra code in the AppModel that was messing things up:

To visualise, take your keyboard's numpad. If the key '5' represents your rectangle, then all the keys 1-9 represent the 9 quadrants of space divided by the lines that make up your rectangle (with 5 being the inside.)

1) If the circle's center is in quadrant 5 (i.e. inside the rectangle) then the two shapes intersect.

With that out of the way, there are two possible cases: a) The circle intersects with two or more neighboring edges of the rectangle. b) The circle intersects with one edge of the rectangle.

The first case is simple. If the circle intersects with two neighboring edges of the rectangle, it must contain the corner connecting those two edges. (That, or its center lies in quadrant 5, which we have already covered. Also note that the case where the circle intersects with only two opposing edges of the rectangle is covered as well.)

2) If any of the corners A, B, C, D of the rectangle lie inside the circle, then the two shapes intersect.

The second case is trickier. We should make note of that it may only happen when the circle's center lies in one of the quadrants 2, 4, 6 or 8. (In fact, if the center is on any of the quadrants 1, 3, 7, 8, the corresponding corner will be the closest point to it.)

There is a shortcut for this last step. If the circle's center is in quadrant 8 and the edge AB is the top edge, the point of intersection will have the y-coordinate of A and B, and the x-coordinate of center P.

You can construct the four line intersections and check if they lie on their corresponding edges, or find out which quadrant P is in and check the corresponding intersection. Both should simplify to the same boolean equation. Be wary of that the step 2 above did not rule out P being in one of the 'corner' quadrants; it just looked for an intersection.

Edit: As it turns out, I have overlooked the simple fact that #2 is a subcase of #3 above. After all, corners too are points on the edges. See @ShreevatsaR's answer below for a great explanation. And in the meanwhile, forget #2 above unless you want a quick but redundant check.

It should be pretty obvious from your question that you're actually just asking about the difference between git merge and git rebase.

So let's suppose you're in the common case - you've done some work on your master branch, and you pull from origin's, which also has done some work. After the fetch, things look like this:

- o - o - o - H - A - B - C (master)
               \
                P - Q - R (origin/master)

If you merge at this point (the default behavior of git pull), assuming there aren't any conflicts, you end up with this:

- o - o - o - H - A - B - C - X (master)
               \             /
                P - Q - R --- (origin/master)

If on the other hand you did the appropriate rebase, you'd end up with this:

- o - o - o - H - P - Q - R - A' - B' - C' (master)
                          |
                          (origin/master)

The content of your work tree should end up the same in both cases; you've just created a different history leading up to it. The rebase rewrites your history, making it look as if you had committed on top of origin's new master branch (R), instead of where you originally committed (H). You should never use the rebase approach if someone else has already pulled from your master branch.

Finally, note that you can actually set up git pull for a given branch to use rebase instead of merge by setting the config parameter branch.<name>.rebase to true. You can also do this for a single pull using git pull --rebase.

Horizontal resize strikes me as being a mess, due to word-wrap, long lines, and so on, but vertical resize seems to be pretty safe and nice.

Rostyslav Dzinko's answer is very appropriate. I thought I could highlight one other reason you should choose @classmethod over @staticmethod when you are creating an additional constructor.

In the example above, Rostyslav used the @classmethod from_string as a Factory to create Date objects from otherwise unacceptable parameters. The same can be done with @staticmethod as is shown in the code below:

But, if you observe closely, the Factory process is hard-coded to create Date objects no matter what. What this means is that even if the Date class is subclassed, the subclasses will still create plain Date objects (without any properties of the subclass). See that in the example below:

datetime2 is not an instance of DateTime? WTF? Well, that's because of the @staticmethod decorator used.

In most cases, this is undesired. If what you want is a Factory method that is aware of the class that called it, then @classmethod is what you need.

Rewriting Date.millenium as (that's the only part of the above code that changes):

    return cls(month, day, 2000)

ensures that the class is not hard-coded but rather learnt. cls can be any subclass. The resulting object will rightly be an instance of cls.
Let's test that out:

That example is pretty vague, but maybe something like this?

It basically does a splice (or assignment to a slice) operation. It removes items 3 to 6 and inserts a new list in their place (in this case a list with one item, which is the concatenation of the three items that were removed.)

For any type of list, you could do this (using the + operator on all items no matter what their type is):

As it can be seen there are 4 main views (view1,view2,view3,view4) and view1 has 3 child views.

401 means "Unauthorized", so there must be something with your credentials.

I think that java URL does not support the syntax you are showing. You could use an Authenticator instead.

I guess the problem you have is related to the dynamic height that the fixed navbar at the top has. For example, when a user logs in, you need to display some kind of "Hello [User Name]" and when the name is too wide, the navbar needs to use more height so this text doesn't overlap with the navbar menu. As the navbar has the style "position: fixed", the body stays underneath it and a taller part of it becomes hidden so you need to "dynamically" change the padding at the top every time the navbar height changes which would happen in the following case scenarios:

1. The page is loaded / reloaded.
2. The browser window is resized as this could hit a different responsive breakpoint.
3. The navbar content is modified directly or indirectly as this could provoke a height change.

This dynamicity is not covered by regular CSS so I can only think of one way to solve this problem if the user has JavaScript enabled. Please try the following jQuery code snippet to resolve case scenarios 1 and 2; for case scenario 3 please remember to call the function onResize() after any change in the navbar content:

You can ignore the comS function by replace the !comS(dat.s,""+EdTe.getText()) with !equal function. However the equal function itself some time work not correctly in run time.

The onChange listener will remember old data of EditText when user focus typing, and then compare the new data when user lose focus or jump to other input. If comparing old String not same new String, it fires the work.

If you only have 1 EditText, then u will need to make a ClearFocus function by making an Ultimate Secret Transparent Micro EditText outside the windows and request focus to it, then hide the keyboard via Import Method Manager.

I just deleted the react-native-firebase folder which will be inside the node_modules folder, that's it then I could run the app successfully.

And one more thing don't forget to remove react-native-firebase but not @react-native-firebase in package.json file. So that next time when you run npm I or yarn. This won't get installed in your app.

RuntimeError: dictionary changed size during iteration.

This happens because mydict.keys() returns an iterator not a list. As pointed out in comments simply convert mydict.keys() to a list by list(mydict.keys()) and it should work.

A simple test in the console shows you cannot modify a dictionary while iterating over it:

As stated in delnan's answer, deleting entries causes problems when the iterator tries to move onto the next entry. Instead, use the keys() method to get a list of the keys and work with that:

I think that most of the time when people ask this question, they have build a site with only divs, and now one of the div needs to be a link.

I seen someone use a transparent empty image, PNG, inside an anchor tag just to make a link inside a div, and the image was the same size as the div.

Information schema?

To find "whether the table exists" (no matter who's asking), querying the information schema (information_schema.tables) is incorrect, strictly speaking, because (per documentation):

Only those tables and views are shown that the current user has access to (by way of being the owner or having some privilege).

The query provided by @kong can return FALSE, but the table can still exist. It answers the question:

The information schema is mainly useful to stay portable across major versions and across different RDBMS. But the implementation is slow, because Postgres has to use sophisticated views to comply to the standard (information_schema.tables is a rather simple example). And some information (like OIDs) gets lost in translation from the system catalogs - which actually carry all information.

Use the system catalogs pg_class and pg_namespace directly, which is also considerably faster. However, per documentation on pg_class:

The catalog pg_class catalogs tables and most everything else that has columns or is otherwise similar to a table. This includes indexes (but see also pg_index), sequences, views, materialized views, composite types, and TOAST tables;

For this particular question you can also use the system view pg_tables. A bit simpler and more portable across major Postgres versions (which is hardly of concern for this basic query):

Alternative: cast to regclass

SELECT 'schema_name.table_name'::regclass

This raises an exception if the (optionally schema-qualified) table (or other object occupying that name) does not exist.

If you do not schema-qualify the table name, a cast to regclass defaults to the search_path and returns the OID for the first table found - or an exception if the table is in none of the listed schemas. Note that the system schemas pg_catalog and pg_temp (the schema for temporary objects of the current session) are automatically part of the search_path.

You can use that and catch a possible exception in a function. Example:

A query like above avoids possible exceptions and is therefore slightly faster.

to_regclass(rel_name) in Postgres 9.4+

Much simpler now:

Method Load of DataTable executes NextResult on the DataReader, so you shouldn't call NextResult explicitly when using Load, otherwise odd tables in the sequence would be omitted.

Read the spec

First, Latin-1 is the same as ISO-8859-1, so, the default was already OK for you. Right?

You successfully set the encoding to ISO-8859-1 with your command line parameter. You also set it programmatically to "Latin-1", but, that's not a recognized value of a file encoding for Java. See http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/intl/encoding.doc.html

When you do that, looks like Charset resets to UTF-8, from looking at the source. That at least explains most of the behavior.

I don't know why OutputStreamWriter shows ISO8859_1. It delegates to closed-source sun.misc.* classes. I'm guessing it isn't quite dealing with encoding via the same mechanism, which is weird.

But of course you should always be specifying what encoding you mean in this code. I'd never rely on the platform default.

Most default Windows installation put a string like C:\Program Files (x86) into the Registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProgramFilesDir (x86) but this (and others) can be changed.

Whatever is entered into these Windows Registry values will be read by Windows Explorer into respective Environment Variables upon login and then copied to any child process that it subsequently spawns.

The registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProgramFilesPath is especially noteworthy because most Windows installations put the string %ProgramFiles% into it, to be read by 64-bit processes. This string refers to the environment variable %ProgramFiles% which in turn, takes its data from the Registry value HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProgramW6432Dir ...unless some program changes the value of this environment variable apriori.

The then method returns a pending promise which can be resolved asynchronously by the return value of a result handler registered in the call to then, or rejected by throwing an error inside the handler called.

So calling AuthUser will not suddenly log the user in synchronously, but returns a promise whose then registered handlers will be called after the login succeeds ( or fails). I would suggest triggering all login processing by a then clause of the login promise. E.G. using named functions to highlight the sequence of flow:

That's the easiest way to delete all rows from the table in dbms via DataAdapter. But if you want to do it in one batch, you can set the DataAdapter's UpdateBatchSize to 0(unlimited).

Another way would be to use a simple SqlCommand with CommandText DELETE FROM Table:

The solution given from "Nott Responding" seems to fire both events, click and dblclick when doubleclicked. However I think it points in the right direction.

Maybe you're not using the latest version of a JSON for Java Library.

json-simple has not been updated for a long time, while JSON-Java was updated 2 month ago.

Regarding to the question you still need to use datetime.strptime() as others said earlier.

It depends on the shell (and its configuration) in standard bash only the command is stored without the date and time (check .bash_history if there is any timestamp there).

To have bash store the timestamp you need to set HISTTIMEFORMAT before executing the commands, e.g. in .bashrc or .bash_profile. This will cause bash to store the timestamps in .bash_history (see the entries starting with #).

You can encode Rule 110 in CSS3, so it's Turing-complete so long as you consider an appropriate accompanying HTML file and user interactions to be part of the “execution” of CSS. A pretty good implementation is available, and another implementation is included here:

Jackson uses the SqlDateSerializer by default for java.sql.Date, but currently, this serializer doesn't take the dateformat into account, see this issue: https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/1407 . The workaround is to register a different serializer for java.sql.Date as shown in the code example.

SQL Alchemy session objects have their own execute method:

All your application queries should be going through a session object, whether they're raw SQL or not. This ensures that the queries are properly managed by a transaction, which allows multiple queries in the same request to be committed or rolled back as a single unit. Going outside the transaction using the engine or the connection puts you at much greater risk of subtle, possibly hard to detect bugs that can leave you with corrupted data. Each request should be associated with only one transaction, and using db.session will ensure this is the case for your application.

Also take note that execute is designed for parameterized queries. Use parameters, like :val in the example, for any inputs to the query to protect yourself from SQL injection attacks. You can provide the value for these parameters by passing a dict as the second argument, where each key is the name of the parameter as it appears in the query. The exact syntax of the parameter itself may be different depending on your database, but all of the major relational databases support them in some form.

Assuming it's a SELECT query, this will return an iterable of RowProxy objects.

First of all, the fact that the value in the database is a float does not mean that it also fits in a Java float. Float is short for floating point, and floating point types of various precisions exist. Java types float and double are both floating point types of different precision. In a database both are called FLOAT. Since double has a higher precision than float, it probably is a better idea not to cast your value to a float, because you might lose precision.

You might also use BigDecimal, which represent an arbitrary-precision number.

I found this issue frustrating because I was able to interact with the database yesterday, but after coming back this morning, I started getting this error.

I agree with Brainstorm's approach: assuming that you're passing a machine-friendly binary representation, use the encoding/binary library. The OP suggests that binary.Write() might have some overhead. Looking at the source for the implementation of Write(), I see that it does some runtime decisions for maximum flexibility.

Right? Write() takes in a very generic data third argument, and that's imposing some overhead as the Go runtime then is forced into encoding type information. Since Write() is doing some runtime decisions here that you simply don't need in your situation, maybe you can just directly call the encoding functions and see if it performs better.

After coming back to my own question after 5 year and seeing so many people found this useful, a little update.

A string variable can be split into a list by using the split function (it can contain similar values, set is for the assignment) . I haven't found this function in the official documentation but it works similar to normal Python. The items can be called via an index, used in a loop or like Dave suggested if you know the values, it can set variables like a tuple.

My guess is that you're seeing this using Chrome. Chrome's rules for applying the SOP to local files are very tight, it disallows even loading files from the same directory as the document. So does Opera. Some other browsers, such as Firefox, allow limited access to local files. But basically, using ajax with local resources isn't going to work cross-browser.

If you're just testing something locally that you'll really be deploying to the web, rather than use local files, install a simple web server and test via http:// URLs instead. That gives you a much more accurate security picture.

A heap dump is a dump of the state of the Java heap memory. Thus useful for analysing what use of memory an app is making at some point in time so handy in diagnosing some memory issues, and if done at intervals handy in diagnosing memory leaks.

This is what they are in 'raw' terms, and could be provided in many ways. In general used to describe dumped files from JVMs and app servers, and in this form they are a low level tool. Useful if for some reason you can't get anything else, but you will find life easier using decent profiling tool to get similar but easier to dissect info.

With respect to WebSphere a javacore file is a thread dump, albeit with a lot of other info such as locks and loaded classes and some limited memory usage info, and a PHD file is a heap dump.

If you want to read a javacore file you can do so by hand, but there is an IBM tool (BM Thread and Monitor Dump Analyzer) which makes it simpler. If you want to read a heap dump file you need one of many IBM tools: MDD4J or Heap Analyzer.

My preferred solution for this would be to do the resizing server-side, so you are transmitting less unnecessary data.

In any event, can't you just do str(string) to get a string rather than a unicode-string? (This should be different for Python 3, for which all strings are unicode.)

When using the Boost Tokenizer escaped_list_separator for CSV files, then one should be aware of the following:

1. It requires an escape-character (default back-slash - \)
2. It requires a splitter/seperator-character (default comma - ,)
3. It requires an quote-character (default quote - ")

The CSV format specified by wiki states that data fields can contain separators in quotes (supported):

The CSV format specified by wiki states that single quotes should be handled with double-quotes (escaped_list_separator will strip away all quote characters):

The CSV format doesn't specify that any back-slash characters should be stripped away (escaped_list_separator will strip away all escape characters).

A possible work-around to fix the default behavior of the boost escaped_list_separator:

1. First replace all back-slash characters (\) with two back-slash characters (\\) so they are not stripped away.
2. Secondly replace all double-quotes ("") with a single back-slash character and a quote (\")

This work-around has the side-effect that empty data-fields that are represented by a double-quote, will be transformed into a single-quote-token. When iterating through the tokens, then one must check if the token is a single-quote, and treat it like an empty string.

Not pretty but it works, as long there are not newlines within the quotes.

As pointed out in a few other answers, you can iterate over all elements in a matrix A (of any dimension) using a linear index from 1 to numel(A) in a single for loop. There are also a couple of functions you can use: arrayfun and cellfun.

Let's first assume you have a function that you want to apply to each element of A (called my_func). You first create a function handle to this function:

fcn = @my_func;

If A is a matrix (of type double, single, etc.) of arbitrary dimension, you can use arrayfun to apply my_func to each element:

outArgs = arrayfun(fcn, A);

If A is a cell array of arbitrary dimension, you can use cellfun to apply my_func to each cell:

The function my_func has to accept A as an input. If there are any outputs from my_func, these are placed in outArgs, which will be the same size/dimension as A.

What I need is to use Docker with MariaDb on different port /3301/ on my Ubuntu machine because I already had MySql installed and running on 3306.

To do this after half day searching did it using:

docker run -it -d -p 3301:3306 -v ~/mdbdata/mariaDb:/var/lib/mysql -e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=root --name mariaDb mariadb

This pulls the image with latest MariaDb, creates container called mariaDb, and run mysql on port 3301. All data of which is located in home directory in /mdbdata/mariaDb.

To login in mysql after that can use:

mysql -u root -proot -h 127.0.0.1 -P3301

While the OP is the original author of the database, and likely created a simple data model, I had experienced a similar behavior on a more complicated system. In my scenario the main .mdb file was on a network share location with read/write access by the user. The .mdb file referenced tables in another .mdb file in a different network location - where the user did not have proper access.

For others viewing this post to solve similar problems, verify the linked tables path and access.

To verify linked tables...(assuming Access 2010)

1. Open database
2. Click ribbon toolbar tab 'External Data'

4. Identify paths to linked tables

I faced with this error today, reason was; IIS user doesn't have permission to reach to the application folder. I gave the read permissions to the app root folder.

I have written a complete utility class (inspired by Askar's proposal) that can take Java 8 lambda expression and turn them (if applicable) into any typed standard Java 8 lambda defined in the package java.util.function. You can for example do:

Because there would be numerous ambiguities if all the static methods would be named just as(), I opted to call the method "as" followed by the returned type. My Scenario: I had to scroll down on page to open dialog on a button click, due to window scroll the dialog was not opening vertically center to window, it was going out of view-port.

As Ken has mentioned above , after you have set your modal content execute below statement.

It worked well for me and the best thing is that you don't include any other plugin or library for it to work.

I experienced this error when I ran a find condition on a JSONArray within a for loop. The problem I faced was the result of one of the values in the for loop returning null. Hence, when I tried to access a property on that it failed.

So if you are doing anything within JSONArrays where you are not sure of the data source and its integrity I thinks its a good habit to deal with null and undefined exceptions in this case.

I fixed it by checking for null on the returned value of find on the JSONArray and handling exceptions appropriately.

On Windows, the java executable uses the Windows Registry to locate the default version of Java to run.

The copy of java.exe to run is found by using the PATH environment variable. Unless you take steps to change this, by default a copy will be found in the Windows directory. Since this copy isn't in a Java runtime directory, it locates one by looking at the registry.

So, you either need to modify the registry, or put the version of Java you want before the Windows directory in your PATH.

You should try slicing the image if possible into a smaller piece which could be repeated. I have sliced that image to a 101x101px image.

CSS:

But in some cases, we wouldn't be able to slice the image to a smaller one. In that case, I would use the whole image. But you could also use the CSS3 methods like what Mustafa Kamal had mentioned.

The function c.query() has two argument

The operation "Fetch Data" in this case is a DB-Query, now this may be handled by Node.js by spawning off a worker thread and giving it this task of performing the DB-Query. (Remember Node.js can create thread internally). This enables the function to return instantaneously without any delay

The second argument "Post-Processing of Data" is a callback function, the node framework registers this callback and is called by the event loop.

Thus the statement c.query (paramenter1, parameter2) will return instantaneously, enabling node to cater for another request.

I wrote a (recursive) function to delete any row based on its primary key. I wrote this because I did not want to create my constraints as "on delete cascade". I wanted to be able to delete complex sets of data (as a DBA) but not allow my programmers to be able to cascade delete without thinking through all of the repercussions. I'm still testing out this function, so there may be bugs in it -- but please don't try it if your DB has multi column primary (and thus foreign) keys. Also, the keys all have to be able to be represented in string form, but it could be written in a way that doesn't have that restriction. I use this function VERY SPARINGLY anyway, I value my data too much to enable the cascading constraints on everything. Basically this function is passed in the schema, table name, and primary value (in string form), and it will start by finding any foreign keys on that table and makes sure data doesn't exist-- if it does, it recursively calls itsself on the found data. It uses an array of data already marked for deletion to prevent infinite loops. Please test it out and let me know how it works for you. Note: It's a little slow. I call it like so: select delete_cascade('public','my_table','1');

You can bind this to your function by adding .bind(this) directly to the end of your function definition. You would rewrite your code block as:

Historically in C, if you omitted a datatype "int" was assumed. So "unsigned" is a shorthand for "unsigned int". This has been considered bad practice for a long time, but there is still a fair amount of code out there that uses it.

That only means that an undefined column or parameter name was detected. The errror that DB2 gives should point what that may be:

Mine was working fine on Windows 10 (Creator update edition) but then suddenly stopped working after I had been messing with Homegroups and trying to share a file between our office network. Not really sure what caused it. Has taken me over a week of doing all of the various suggestions above with no luck. Finally, ran a few things that fixed it at last!

IMPORTANT: To be honest, of all the things I ran below, I don't really know which one fixed it. I have a feeling that the IPv6 disabling tool would probably solve this straight away without the additional stuff. Maybe worth running that first to see what happens!

Here's what fixed mine:-

• Removed virtual devices from Genymotion
• Went into VirtualBox (Files -> Virtual Host Manager) and removed the host only adapters.
• Opened command prompt as administrator. Type "cmd" into your search windows search bar, right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator").
• Ran the following commands in order to put everything back to defaults and reset it all.
• netsh winsock reset catalog reference
• netsh int ipv4 reset reset.logsame as above
• ipconfig /release

• ipconfig /renew

• Disable IPV6 using Microsoft's tool found here Disable IPv6 or its components (I downloaded and ran the one called Disabled IPv6 on all nontunnel interfaces)

• Restarted computer

• I was using Avast anti-virus. Uninstalled that too to completely remove that from the equation temporarily. I had already been disabling it temporarily whilst trying all the other solutions with no luck. Figured I'd uninstall it for certainty.

• Installed Genymotion 2.12.0-vbox (with VirtualBox which should be 5.2.6)

• After it installs, open up Oracle VM VirtualBox and go to File->Check for updates and you should be told there's an update to 5.2.8 at the time of this post. Install that.

• Now go to GenyMotion and add a new device. Should work! (I didn't tweak anything in VirtualBox, didn't change anything to anything else - it just worked as is for me).

The most straight-forward way I can think of is using numpy's gradient function:

This way, dydx will be computed using central differences and will have the same length as y, unlike numpy.diff, which uses forward differences and will return (n-1) size vector.

If you need to frequently use LIKE, you can simplify the problem a bit. A custom method like () can be created in the model that inherits the Eloquent ORM:

From the man page, npm start:

runs a package's "start" script, if one was provided. If no version is specified, then it starts the "active" version.

Memory management in Linux is a bit tricky to understand, and I can't say I fully understand it yet, but I'll try to share a little bit of my experience and knowledge.

Short answer to your question: Yes there are other stuff included than whats in the list.

What's being shown in your list is applications run in userspace. The kernel uses memory for itself and modules, on top of that it also has a lower limit of free memory that you can't go under. When you've reached that level it will try to free up resources, and when it can't do that anymore, you end up with an OOM problem.

From the last line of your list you can read that the kernel reports a total-vm usage of: 1498536kB (1,5GB), where the total-vm includes both your physical RAM and swap space. You stated you don't have any swap but the kernel seems to think otherwise since your swap space is reported to be full (Total swap = 524284kB, Free swap = 0kB) and it reports a total vmem size of 1,5GB.

Another thing that can complicate things further is memory fragmentation. You can hit the OOM killer when the kernel tries to allocate lets say 4096kB of continous memory, but there are no free ones availible.

Now that alone probably won't help you solve the actual problem. I don't know if it's normal for your program to require that amount of memory, but I would recommend to try a static code analyzer like cppcheck to check for memory leaks or file descriptor leaks. You could also try to run it through Valgrind to get a bit more information out about memory usage.

Normally, IIS would use the process identity (the user account it is running the worker process as) to access protected resources like file system or network.

With passthrough authentication, IIS will attempt to use the actual identity of the user when accessing protected resources.

If the user is not authenticated, IIS will use the application pool identity instead. If pool identity is set to NetworkService or LocalSystem, the actual Windows account used is the computer account.

The IIS warning you see is not an error, it's just a warning. The actual check will be performed at execution time, and if it fails, it'll show up in the log.

If you want to concatenate the fields using / as a separator, you can use concat_ws:

You cannot escape listing the columns in the query though. The *-syntax works only in "select * from". You can list the columns and construct the query dynamically though.

I was having a very similar problem. I was getting inconsistent height() values when I refreshed my page. (It wasn't my variable causing the problem, it was the actual height value.)

I noticed that in the head of my page I called my scripts first, then my css file. I switched so that the css file is linked first, then the script files and that seems to have fixed the problem so far.

I think it depends on how you installed python. Note that you can have multiple installs of python, I do on my machine. However, if you install via an msi of a version of python 2.2 or above, I believe it creates a registry key like so:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\Python.exe

which gives this value on my machine:

C:\Python25\Python.exe

You just read the registry key to get the location.

However, you can install python via an xcopy like model that you can have in an arbitrary place, and you just have to know where it is installed.

This can be an issue when using Source Control and automated deployments to a shared development environment. Where I work we have a very large sample DB on our development tier to work with (a subset of our production data).

Recently I did some work to remove one column from a table and then add some extra ones on the end. I then had to undo my column removal so I re-added it on the end which means the table and all references are correct in the environment but the Source Control automated deployment will no longer work because it complains about the table definition changing.

The real problem here is that the table + indexes are ~120GB and the environment only has ~60GB free so I'll need to either:

a) Rename the existing columns which are in the wrong order, add new columns in the right order, update the data then drop the old columns

OR

b) Rename the table, create a new table with the correct order, insert to the new table from the old and delete from the old as I go along

The SSMS/TFS Schema compare option of using a temp table won't work because there isn't enough room on disc to do it.

I'm not trying to say this is the best way to go about things or that column order really matters, just that I have a scenario where it is an issue and I'm sharing the options I've thought of to fix the issue

I think you want to check the exit status of the command, whereas shell_exec gives you full output (might be dangerous shall command output change from command version to version. for some reason). Moreover your variable $ip is not interpreted within single quotes. You'd have to use double ones "". That might be the only thing you need to fix in order to make it work.

But I think following code can be more "portable". IMHO it is in fact better to catch the exit status, rather than trying to parse result string. IMHO it's also better to specify full path to ping command.

There are three kinds of timeouts which can occur in such a case. It can be seen that each answer is focused on only one aspect of these possibilities. You are using DictWriter.writerows() which expects a list of dicts, not a dict. You want DictWriter.writerow() to write a single row.

You will also want to use DictWriter.writeheader() if you want a header for you csv file.

You also might want to check out the with statement for opening files. It's not only more pythonic and readable but handles closing for you, even when exceptions occur.
