I had a similar problem application-level add-in in VSTO, the exception HRESULT: 0x800A03EC when adding new sheet.

The error code 0x800A03EC (or -2146827284) means NAME_NOT_FOUND; in other words, you've asked for something, and Excel can't find it.

Then I finally realized ThisWorkbook triggered the exception. ActiveWorkbook went OK.

In the Excel object model a Worksheet has 2 different name properties:

Worksheet.Name
Worksheet.CodeName

the Name property is read/write and contains the name that appears on the sheet tab. It is user and VBA changeable

the CodeName property is read-only

You can reference a particular sheet as Worksheets("Fred").Range("A1") where Fred is the .Name property or as Sheet1.Range("A1") where Sheet1 is the codename of the worksheet.

The best way is to create a variable of type Worksheet, assign the worksheet and use it every time the VBA would implicitly use the ActiveSheet.

This will help you avoid bugs that will eventually show up when your program grows in size.

For example something like Range("A1:C10").Sort Key1:=Range("A2") is good when the macro works only on one sheet. But you will eventually expand your macro to work with several sheets, find out that this doesn't work, adjust it to ShTest1.Range("A1:C10").Sort Key1:=Range("A2")... and find out that it still doesn't work.

Here is the correct way:

If you want additional columns, just change 1 to 15 to 1 to X where X is the column index of the column you want, and append the column size you want to StrSize.

For example, if you want P:P to have a width of 25, just add ;25 to StrSize and change ColIter... to ColIter = 1 to 16.

Here's another solution that uses some of VBA's built in date functions and stores all the date data in an array for comparison, which may give better performance if you get a lot of data:

Above two answers are correct but didn't work for me.

1. I kept on seeing blank like below for docker container ls
2. then I tried, docker container ls -a and after that it showed all the process previously exited and running.
3. Then docker stop <container id> or docker container stop <container id> didn't work
4. then I tried docker rm -f <container id> and it worked.
5. Now at this I tried docker container ls -a and this process wasn't present.

As far as how to use unwind segues in StoryBoard...

Step 1)

Go to the code for the view controller that you wish to unwind to and add this:

In storyboard, go to the view that you want to unwind from and simply drag a segue from your button or whatever up to the little orange "EXIT" icon at the top right of your source view.

There should now be an option to connect to "- unwindToViewControllerNameHere"

That's it, your segue will unwind when your button is tapped.

in python sorted works like you want with integers:

>>> sorted([10,3,2])
[2, 3, 10]

it looks like you have a problem because you are using strings:

>>> sorted(['10','3','2'])
['10', '2', '3']

(because string ordering starts with the first character, and "1" comes before "2", no matter what characters follow) which can be fixed with key=int

>>> sorted(['10','3','2'], key=int)
['2', '3', '10']

which converts the values to integers during the sort (it is called as a function - int('10') returns the integer 10)

and as suggested in the comments, you can also sort the list itself, rather than generating a new one:

>>> l = ['10','3','2']
>>> l.sort(key=int)
>>> l
['2', '3', '10']

but i would look into why you have strings at all. you should be able to save and retrieve integers. it looks like you are saving a string when you should be saving an int? (sqlite is unusual amongst databases, in that it kind-of stores data in the same type as it is given, even if the table column type is different).

and once you start saving integers, you can also get the list back sorted from sqlite by adding order by ... to the sql command:

select temperature from temperatures order by temperature;

• Dim declares the variable.

  Dim r As Range
  

• Set sets the variable to an object reference.

  Set r = Range("A1")
  

However, I don't think this is what you're really asking.

Sometimes I use:

    Dim r as Range
    r = Range("A1")

This will never work. Without Set you will receive runtime error #91 Object variable or With block variable not set. This is because you must use Set to assign a variables value to an object reference. Then the code above will work.

I think the code below illustrates what you're really asking about. Let's suppose we don't declare a type and let r be a Variant type instead.

So, let's break down what happens here.

1. r is declared as a Variant

   `Dim r` ' TypeName(r) returns "Empty", which is the value for an uninitialized variant
   

2. r is set to the Range containing cell "A1"

   Set r = Range("A1") ' TypeName(r) returns "Range"
   

3. r is set to the value of the default property of Range("A1").

   r = Range("A1") ' TypeName(r) returns "String"
   

In this case, the default property of a Range is .Value, so the following two lines of code are equivalent.

r = Range("A1")
r = Range("A1").Value

As for your Set example:

Other times I use

Set r = Range("A1")

This wouldn't work without first declaring that r is a Range or Variant object... using the Dim statement - unless you don't have Option Explicit enabled, which you should. Always. Otherwise, you're using identifiers that you haven't declared and they are all implicitly declared as Variants.

You could resolve the problem with:

Temi's answer is nearly correct, but you cannot call an asynchronous function from a non asynchronous function like he is suggesting. What you need to do is make asynchronous calls in a synchronous function like so :

The key to this is the use of the Task<> class and forcing the system to wait in a slightly different way in a synchronous way.

You can remove a string from an array like this:

You need to use the .toFixed() method

It takes as a parameter the number of digits to show after the decimal point.

Here is the thing, there is no way to "temporarily" disable cross-domain XMLHttpRequest, if you can disable it temporarily then it can be disabled permanently. This is a rather common problem in the modern-day of AJAX programming and is most often solved using the technique known as cross-domain scripting.

The idea here being is that if you call out to a cross-domain script it returns JavaScript (JSON) results that are then passed on to a function on your end.

Here is some sample code to illustrate how it may look from a JavaScript code perspective:

However, note, it's best not to use list as a variable identifier as it's already used by Python: list()

You're thinking too complicated. It's actually just $('#'+openaddress).

Yes, You can use gcc to compile your asm code. Use -c for compilation like this:

gcc -c file.S -o file.o

This will give object code file named file.o. To invoke linker perform following after above command:

gcc file.o -o file

The struct module mimics C structures. It takes more CPU cycles for a processor to read a 16-bit word on an odd address or a 32-bit dword on an address not divisible by 4, so structures add "pad bytes" to make structure members fall on natural boundaries. Consider:

Compilers usually have a way of eliminating padding. In Python, any of =<>! will eliminate padding:

Beware of letting struct handle padding. In C, these structures:

are typically 4 and 8 bytes, respectively. The padding occurs at the end of the structure in case the structures are used in an array. This keeps the 'a' members aligned on correct boundaries for structures later in the array. Python's struct module does not pad at the end:

I believe commenting out display_errors in php.ini won't work because the default is On. You must set it to 'Off' instead.

Don't forget to restart Apache to apply configuration changes.

Also note that while you can set display_errors at runtime, changing it here does not affect FATAL errors.

As noted by others, ideally during development you should run with error_reporting at the highest level possible and display_errors enabled. While annoying when you first start out, these errors, warnings, notices and strict coding advice all add up and enable you to becoem a better coder.

There's a simpler way by leveraging the use of bind and call methods.

By setting private variables to an object, you can leverage that object's scope.

Example

This method isn't without drawbacks. Since the scope context is effectively being overridden, you don't have access outside of the _private object. However, it isn't impossible though to still give access to the instance object's scope. You can pass in the object's context (this) as the second argument to bind or call to still have access to it's public values in the prototype function.

I got totally fed up with Visual Studio's inability to really clean solutions and wrote this little tool that will do it for you.

Close your solution in VS first and drag its folder from Windows Explorer into this app or into its icon. Depending on the setting at the bottom of its window, it can also remove additional stuff, that will help if you try to manually upload your solution to GitHub or share it with someone else:

In a nutshell, it will place all "Debug" folders, Intellisense, and other caches that can be rebuilt by VS into Recycle Bin for you.

In ES2015/ES6 you can use "*".repeat(n)

Technically, there are two issues with the code posted by BGM:

1. the adding of the handlers in the WaitForPageLoad method is potentially too late. The navigation is initiated before the handlers are added which means that in very rare cases where the browser already has the page it may complete before the handlers are added in which case you will miss the event and sit forever waiting.

Well, actually, React is not suitable for calling child methods from the parent. Some frameworks, like Cycle.js, allow easily access data both from parent and child, and react to it.

Also, there is a good chance you don't really need it. Consider calling it into existing component, it is much more independent solution. But sometimes you still need it, and then you have few choices:

• Pass method down, if it is a child (the easiest one, and it is one of the passed properties)
• add events library; in React ecosystem Flux approach is the most known, with Redux library. You separate all events into separated state and actions, and dispatch them from components

There are 3 steps that needs to be run.

The best way to get 64-bit setuptools installed on Windows is to download ez_setup.py to C:\Python27\Scripts and run it. It will download appropriate 64-bit .egg file for setuptools and install it for you.

You can get the concatenated year and week number (200945) using the YEARWEEK() function. If I understand your goal correctly, that should enable you to group your multi-year data.

The postition:absolute; tag positions the element relative to it's immediate parent. I noticed that even in the examples, there isn't room for scrolling, and when i tried it out, it didn't work. I am using JSCH since about 2000 and still find it a good library to use. I agree it is not documented well enough but the provided examples seem good enough to understand that is required in several minutes, and user friendly Swing, while this is quite original approach, allows to test the example quickly to make sure it actually works. It is not always true that every good project needs three times more documentation than the amount of code written, and even when such is present, this not always helps to write faster a working prototype of your concept.

I searched for the top NodeJS html parser libraries.

Because my use cases didn't require a library with many features, I could focus on stability and performance.

By stability I mean that I want the library to be used long enough by the community in order to find bugs and that it will be still maintained and that open issues will be closed.

Its hard to understand the future of an open source library, but I did a small summary based on the top 10 libraries in openbase.

I picked Node-html-parser because it seems quiet fast and very active at this moment.

I know this is old but it is still relevant. You can take advantage of reshape2::melt to change the dataframe into a more friendly structure for ggplot2.

Advantages:

• allows you plot any number of lines
• each line with a different color
• adds a legend for each line
• with only one call to ggplot/geom_line

• an extra package(reshape2) required
• melting is not so intuitive at first

The most common advice is wrong, you can't just rely on time(). That's used for relative timing: ISO C++ doesn't specify that 1970-01-01T00:00Z is time_t(0)

What's worse is that you can't easily figure it out, either. Sure, you can find the calendar date of time_t(0) with gmtime, but what are you going to do if that's 2000-01-01T00:00Z ? How many seconds were there between 1970-01-01T00:00Z and 2000-01-01T00:00Z? It's certainly no multiple of 60, due to leap seconds.

In order to get the value of any input field, you should always use $element.val() because jQuery handles to retrieve the correct value based on the browser of the element type.

You don't have JSON. You have a JavaScript data structure consisting of objects, an array, some strings and some numbers.

Use JSON.stringify(object) to turn it into (a string of) JSON text.

This function works for CRC-16 Modbus version. Not for CRC-16

By using Constructor Injection, you assert the requirement for the dependency in a container-agnostic manner

We need the assurance from the IoC container that, before using any bean, the injection of necessary beans must be done.

In setter injection strategy, we trust the IoC container that it will first create the bean first but will do the injection right before using the bean using the setter methods. And the injection is done according to your configuration. If you somehow misses to specify any beans to inject in the configuration, the injection will not be done for those beans and your dependent bean will not function accordingly when it will be in use!

But in constructor injection strategy, container imposes (or must impose) to provide the dependencies properly while constructing the bean. This was addressed as " container-agnostic manner", as we are required to provide dependencies while creating the bean, thus making the visibility of dependency, independent of any IoC container.

Also, I noticed in your question that you are using innerHTML. This is actually a non-standard way of inserting data into a page. The best practice is to create a text node and append it to another element node.

With respect to your final question, you're going to hear some people say that your work should work across all of the browsers. It all depends on your audience. To avoid confusion, paraphrasing both question and answer. I am assuming that user who posted this question wanted to save dictionary type object in JSON file format but when the user used json.dump, this method dumped all its content in one line. Instead, he wanted to record each dictionary entry on a new line. To achieve this use:

It can be as simple as creating your paper drawing area, specifying the font, font-weight, size, etc... and then telling it to put your string of text onto the paper. It affects the whole child divs when you use the opacity feature with positions other than absolute. So another way to achieve it not to put divs inside each other and then use the position absolute for the divs. Dont use any background color for the upper div.

Normally you can set up a git repo by just using the init command

In your case, there is already a repo on a remote available. Dependent on how you access your remote repo ( with username inside the url or a ssh key which handles verification ) use just the clone command:

There are also other ways to clone the repo. This way you call it if you have a ssh key setup on your machine which verifies on pulling your repository. There are other combinations of the url if you want to include your password and username inside to login into your remote repository.

None of the other answers worked for me. Even after fixing my build path issues, doing a refresh, clean, rebuild, and restart (of both eclipse and the computer), I was still getting the little red exclamation point.

I fixed it by closing the project (right-click, close project) and reopening it (double-click the closed project), which seemed to force eclipse to "notice" that the build path problems had been corrected.

Copy the global variable to a variable in the scope in your controller.

You would implement a logic for getChicken to return either Optional.empty() instead of null, or Optional.of(myReturnObject), where myReturnObject is your chicken.

Then you can call getChicken() and if it would return Optional.empty() the orElse(fallback) would give you whatever the fallback would be, in your case the second method.

You need to use a directed graph instead of a graph, i.e.

Putting this all together, I get the image below. Still not quite the other picture you show (I don't know where your edge weights are coming from), but much closer! If you want more control of how your output graph looks (e.g. get arrowheads that look like arrows), I'd check out NetworkX with Graphviz.

Run ldconfig as root to update the cache - if that still doesn't help, you need to add the path to the file ld.so.conf (just type it in on its own line) or better yet, add the entry to a new file (easier to delete) in directory ld.so.conf.d.

Since for some reason white isn't available for selection, I have found that mat-palette($mat-grey, 50) was close enough to white, for my needs at least.

Explanation: Use unix command find with -ctime (creation time) flag

The find utility recursively descends the directory tree for each path listed, evaluating an expression (composed of the 'primaries' and 'operands') in terms of each file in the tree.

There are, actually, few reasons why you should use that.

My reason is that working with JSON, I've got 0 and 1 as values to keys, but this hack will make sure correct values are kept along your script.

A "JSON object" is actually an oxymoron. JSON is a text format describing an object, not an actual object, so data can either be in the form of JSON, or deserialised into an object.

The JSON for that would look like this:

All these answers seem a bit heavy to me.

If you just flat out remove the '\n' and move everything else back a spot, you are liable to have some characters slammed together in a weird-looking way. So why not just do the simple (and most efficient) thing: Replace all '\n's with spaces?

There may be ways to improve the speed of this at the edges, but it will be way quicker than moving whole chunks of the string around in memory.

You could move the conditional to:

But it's starting to look a little ugly, so you might be better off using a normal loop. Note that I used v instead of l for the list variable to reduce confusion with the number 1 (I think l and O should be avoided as variable names under any circumstances, even in quick-and-dirty example code).

I was facing with this problem some time ago and I found java.util.LinkedList is best for my case. It has several methods, with different namings, but they're doing what is needed:

For my case, this error was triggered because of a huge select query (hundreds of thousands of returned results).

While doing "figure(1), figure(2),..." will solve the problem in most cases, it will not solve them in all cases. Suppose you have a bunch of MATLAB figures on your desktop and how many you have open varies from time to time before you run your code. Using the answers provided, you will overwrite these figures, which you may not want. The easy workaround is to just use the command "figure" before you plot.

Example: you have five figures on your desktop from a previous script you ran and you use

You just plotted over the figures on your desktop. However the code

Just figured it out in Oracle Java the environmental variable is called: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS rather than JAVA_OPTS

The brackets can be used when column names are reserved words.

If you are programatically generating the SQL statement from a collection of column names you don't control, then you can avoid problems by always using the brackets.

I am not sure I fully understand the problem, but pulling an existing branch is done like this (at least it works for me :)

git pull origin BRANCH

This is assuming that your local branch is created off of the origin/BRANCH.

You should add System.configuration dll as reference and use System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["configFile"].ToString

• are a builtin language construct;
• come almost unmodified from C89;
• provide just a contiguous, indexable sequence of elements; no bells and whistles;

• their size must be a compile-time constant unless they are allocated dynamically;

Also consider the "modern alternative" to arrays - std::array; I already described in another answer the difference between std::vector and std::array, you may want to have a look at it.

1. Create a new folder in your project workspace and add the downloaded .jar file(eg:- mysql-connector-java-5.1.35-bin.jar )
2. Right click your project > properties > Libraries > ADD jar/Folder Select the jar file in that folder you just make. And click OK.

Now you will see that .jar file will be included under the libraries. Now you will not need to use the line, Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"); also.

If above method did not work, check the mysql-connector version (eg:- 5.1.35) and try a newer or a suitable version for you.

In order to run scripts, you should write the "python test.py" command in the command prompt, and not within the python shell. also, the test.py file should be at the path you run from in the cli.

That doesn't work because, judging by the rest of the code, the initial value of the text input is "Default text" - which is more than one character, and so your if condition is always true.

The simplest way to make it work, it seems to me, is to account for this case:

out specifies that the parameter is an output parameters, i.e. it has no value until it is explicitly set by the method.

ref specifies that the value is a reference that has a value, and whose value you can change inside the method.

You can do it in a single command:

One interesting thing that I came across is the fact that you can have a capturing group inside a non-capturing group. Have a look at below regex for matching web urls:

The first group in my regex (?:([A-Za-z]+):) is a non-capturing group which matches the protocol scheme and colon : character i.e. http: but when I was running below code, I was seeing the 1st index of the returned array was containing the string http when I was thinking that http and colon : both will not get reported as they are inside a non-capturing group.

I thought if the first group (?:([A-Za-z]+):) is a non-capturing group then why it is returning http string in the output array.

So if you notice that there is a nested group ([A-Za-z]+) inside the non-capturing group. That nested group ([A-Za-z]+) is a capturing group (not having ?: at the beginning) in itself inside a non-capturing group (?:([A-Za-z]+):). That's why the text http still gets captured but the colon : character which is inside the non-capturing group but outside the capturing group doesn't get reported in the output array.

As others have pointed out one could just delete all the files in the repo and then check them out. I prefer this method and it can be done with the code below

git checkout -- .

or one line

git ls-files -z | xargs -0 rm ; git checkout -- .

I use it all the time and haven't found any down sides yet!

For some further explanation, the -z appends a null character onto the end of each entry output by ls-files, and the -0 tells xargs to delimit the output it was receiving by those null characters.

You can get detail error by using responseText property.

It not only allows you to run as admin, it checks the file to make sure it has not been tampered with and stores the needed information securely. I'll admit it's not the most obvious tool to figure out how to use but for those of us writing code it should be simple enough.

The data is UTF-8 encoded bytes escaped with URL quoting, so you want to decode, with urllib.parse.unquote(), which handles decoding from percent-encoded data to UTF-8 bytes and then to text, transparently:
