Are you building this string using single or double quotes? \r and \n only work with double quotes, as well as embedded variables. For example:
$foo = 'bar';
echo 'Hello \n $foo!';
will output:
Hello \n $foo!
But:
$foo = 'bar';
echo "Hello \n $foo!";
will output:
Hello
bar!
Complete working example in Kotlin, I have replaced my API keys with 1111...
val apiService = API.getInstance().retrofit.create(MyApiEndpointInterface::class.java)
val params = HashMap<String, String>()
params["q"] = "munich,de"
params["APPID"] = "11111111111111111"
val call = apiService.getWeather(params)
call.enqueue(object : Callback<WeatherResponse> {
override fun onFailure(call: Call<WeatherResponse>?, t: Throwable?) {
Log.e("Error:::","Error "+t!!.message)
}
override fun onResponse(call: Call<WeatherResponse>?, response: Response<WeatherResponse>?) {
if (response != null && response.isSuccessful && response.body() != null) {
Log.e("SUCCESS:::","Response "+ response.body()!!.main.temp)
temperature.setText(""+ response.body()!!.main.temp)
}
}
})
Ruby 2.7+
There is now!
Ruby 2.7 is introducing filter_map
for this exact purpose. It's idiomatic and performant, and I'd expect it to become the norm very soon.
For example:
numbers = [1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13]
enum.filter_map { |i| i * 2 if i.even? }
# => [4, 16, 20]
In your case, as the block evaluates to falsey, simply:
items.filter_map { |x| process_x url }
"Ruby 2.7 adds Enumerable#filter_map" is a good read on the subject, with some performance benchmarks against some of the earlier approaches to this problem:
N = 100_000
enum = 1.upto(1_000)
Benchmark.bmbm do |x|
x.report("select + map") { N.times { enum.select { |i| i.even? }.map{ |i| i + 1 } } }
x.report("map + compact") { N.times { enum.map { |i| i + 1 if i.even? }.compact } }
x.report("filter_map") { N.times { enum.filter_map { |i| i + 1 if i.even? } } }
end

You probably have one .OBJ or .LIB file that's targeted for x64 (that's the module machine type) while you're linking for x86 (that's the target machine type).
Use DUMPBIN /HEADERS on your .OBJ files and check for the machine entry in the FILE HEADER VALUES block.
Just use the result from the FOR
command. For example (inside a batch file):
for /F "delims=" %%I in ('dir /b /a-d /od FILESA*') do (echo %%I)
You can use the %%I
as the value you want. Just like this: %%I
.
And in advance the %%I
does not have any spaces or CR characters and can be used for comparisons!!

SELECT *
FROM tbl
WHERE id = 1
ORDER BY signin DESC
LIMIT 1;
The obvious index would be on (id)
, or a multicolumn index on (id, signin DESC)
.
Conveniently for the case, MySQL sorts NULL
values last in descending order. That's what you typically want if there can be NULL
values: the row with the latest not-null signin
.
To get NULL
values first:
ORDER BY signin IS NOT NULL, signin DESC
You may want to append more expressions to ORDER BY
to get a deterministic pick from (potentially) multiple rows with NULL
.
The same applies without NULL
if signin
is not defined UNIQUE
.
Related:
The SQL standard does not explicitly define a default sort order for NULL
values. The behavior varies quite a bit across different RDBMS. See:
But there are the NULLS FIRST
/ NULLS LAST
clauses defined in the SQL standard and supported by most major RDBMS, but not by MySQL. See:
Can you not use the hack you've already shown, and then use an IE7 and below hack to override it?
Hello this is my first time posting so please be patient: my answer was to create a simple property:
public bool Checked { get; set; }
Then to set the data context of the Checkbox (called cb1):
cb1.DataContext = this;
Then to bind the IsChecked proerty of it in the xaml
IsChecked="{Binding Checked}"
The code is like this:
XAML
<CheckBox x:Name="cb1"
HorizontalAlignment="Left"
Margin="439,81,0,0"
VerticalAlignment="Top"
Height="35" Width="96"
IsChecked="{Binding Checked}"/>
Code behind
public partial class MainWindow : Window
{
public bool Checked { get; set; }
public MainWindow()
{
InitializeComponent();
cb1.DataContext = this;
}
private void myyButton_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
MessageBox.Show(Checked.ToString());
}
}
Invalidating caches and updating the Kotlin plugin in Android Studio did the trick for me.

You need to configure a raw HttpClient with SSL support, something like this:
@Test
public void givenAcceptingAllCertificatesUsing4_4_whenUsingRestTemplate_thenCorrect()
throws ClientProtocolException, IOException {
CloseableHttpClient httpClient
= HttpClients.custom()
.setSSLHostnameVerifier(new NoopHostnameVerifier())
.build();
HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory requestFactory
= new HttpComponentsClientHttpRequestFactory();
requestFactory.setHttpClient(httpClient);
ResponseEntity<String> response
= new RestTemplate(requestFactory).exchange(
urlOverHttps, HttpMethod.GET, null, String.class);
assertThat(response.getStatusCode().value(), equalTo(200));
}
For tcsh:
set X = `echo $* | awk -F " " '{print $NF}'`
somecommand "$X"
I'm quite sure this would be a portable solution, except for the assignment.
Probably one of the indexes is wrong, either the inner one or the outer one.
I suspect you mean to say [0]
where you say [1]
and [1]
where you say [2]
. Indexes are 0-based in Python.

If you use the NetBeans IDE (latest version at this time is 6.5.1), you can use it to create a basic GUI java application using File->New Project and choose the Java category then Java Desktop Application.
Once created, you will have a simple bare bones GUI app which contains an about box that can be opened using a menu selection. You should be able to adapt this to your needs and learn how to open a dialog from a button click.
You will be able to edit the dialog visually. Delete the items that are there and add some text areas. Play around with it and come back with more questions if you get stuck :)

It does seem a little cumbersome to ignore files (and folders) in Team Foundation Server. I've found a couple ways to do this (using TFS / Team Explorer / Visual Studio 2008). These methods work with the web site ASP project type, too.
One way is to add a new or existing item to a project (e.g. right click on project, Add Existing Item or drag and drop from Windows explorer into the solution explorer), let TFS process the file(s) or folder, then undo pending changes on the item(s). TFS will unmark them as having a pending add change, and the files will sit quietly in the project and stay out of TFS.
Another way is with the Add Items to Folder command of Source Control Explorer. This launches a small wizard, and on one of the steps you can select items to exclude (although, I think you have to add at least one item to TFS with this method for the wizard to let you continue).
You can even add a forbidden patterns check-in policy (under Team -> Team Project Settings -> Source Control... -> Check-in Policy) to disallow other people on the team from mistakenly checking in certain assets.
I could suggest a step by step approach.
C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\

There are two ways:
The best way is to remove the <p>
altogether. It is acting according to specification when it adds space.
Alternately, use CSS to style the <p>
. Something like:
ul li p {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
display: inline;
}
Some people find the following alternative syntax easier to see what is going on:
select t1.value,t2.value
from MyTable t1
inner join MyTable t2 on
t1.id = t2.id
where t1.id = @id
mydict = {'a': 'one', 'b': 'two', 'c': 'three'}
mykeys = [*mydict] #list of keys
myvals = [*mydict.values()] #list of values
print(mykeys)
print(myvals)
Output
['a', 'b', 'c']
['one', 'two', 'three']

Returning false
from the function will stop the event continuing. I.e. it will stop the form submitting.
i.e.
function someFunction()
{
if (allow) // For example, checking that a field isn't empty
{
return true; // Allow the form to submit
}
else
{
return false; // Stop the form submitting
}
}

I had the same problem and nothing mentioned here worked for me. Here is what worked for me:
main.js
file that is run by electron. (this seemed to be the first important part for me)npm i -D electron-rebuild
to add the electron-rebuild packagenode-modules
folder, as well as the packages-lock.json
file.npm i
to install all modules../node_modules/.bin/electron-rebuild
(.\node_modules\.bin\electron-rebuild.cmd
for Windows) to rebuild everythingIt is very important to run ./node_modules/.bin/electron-rebuild
directly after npm i
otherwise it did not work on my mac.
I hope I could help some frustrated souls.
Best use magic set/get methods with predefined custom set/get Methods as in example below. This way you can combine best of two worlds. In terms of speed I agree that they are a bit slower but can you even feel the difference. Example below also validate the data array against predefined setters.
"The magic methods are not substitutes for getters and setters. They just allow you to handle method calls or property access that would otherwise result in an error."
This is why we should use both.

As long as you have unique integers (or some unique value) in the current PK, you could create a new table, and insert into it with IDENTITY INSERT ON. Then drop the old table, and rename the new table.
Don't forget to recreate any indexes.
As Sotirios Delimanolis already pointed out in the comments, there are two options:
ResponseEntity
with error messageChange your method like this:
@RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.GET)
public ResponseEntity getUser(@RequestHeader(value="Access-key") String accessKey,
@RequestHeader(value="Secret-key") String secretKey) {
try {
// see note 1
return ResponseEntity
.status(HttpStatus.CREATED)
.body(this.userService.chkCredentials(accessKey, secretKey, timestamp));
}
catch(ChekingCredentialsFailedException e) {
e.printStackTrace(); // see note 2
return ResponseEntity
.status(HttpStatus.FORBIDDEN)
.body("Error Message");
}
}
Note 1: You don't have to use the ResponseEntity
builder but I find it helps with keeping the code readable. It also helps remembering, which data a response for a specific HTTP status code should include. For example, a response with the status code 201 should contain a link to the newly created resource in the Location
header (see Status Code Definitions). This is why Spring offers the convenient build method ResponseEntity.created(URI)
.
Note 2: Don't use printStackTrace()
, use a logger instead.
@ExceptionHandler
Remove the try-catch block from your method and let it throw the exception. Then create another method in a class annotated with @ControllerAdvice
like this:
@ControllerAdvice
public class ExceptionHandlerAdvice {
@ExceptionHandler(ChekingCredentialsFailedException.class)
public ResponseEntity handleException(ChekingCredentialsFailedException e) {
// log exception
return ResponseEntity
.status(HttpStatus.FORBIDDEN)
.body("Error Message");
}
}
Note that methods which are annotated with @ExceptionHandler
are allowed to have very flexible signatures. See the Javadoc for details.
On Linux, Tomcat7 has a configuration file located at:

When I were trying install librosa
package with pip
(pip install librosa
), this error were appeared:
ERROR: Cannot uninstall 'llvmlite'. It is a distutils installed project and thus we cannot accurately determine which files belong to it which would lead to only a partial uninstall.
I tried to remove llvmlite
, but pip uninstall
could not remove it. So, I used capability of ignore
of pip
by this code:
pip install librosa --ignore-installed llvmlite
Indeed, you can use this rule for ignoring a package you don't want to consider:
pip install {package you want to install} --ignore-installed {installed package you don't want to consider}
Try:
SELECT COALESCE(NULLIF(field, ''), another_field) FROM table_name
You could first import your json data in a Python dictionnary :
data = json.loads(elevations)
Then modify data on the fly :
for result in data['results']:
result[u'lat']=result[u'location'][u'lat']
result[u'lng']=result[u'location'][u'lng']
del result[u'location']
Rebuild json string :
elevations = json.dumps(data)
Finally :
pd.read_json(elevations)
You can, also, probably avoid to dump data back to a string, I assume Panda can directly create a DataFrame from a dictionnary (I haven't used it since a long time :p)
myString.replace(/<br ?\/?>/g, "\n")
just adding to above answers, when we have a static code (ie code block is instance independent) that needs to be present in memory, we can have the class returned so we'll use Class.forname("someName") else if we dont have static code we can go for Class.forname().newInstance("someName") as it will load object level code blocks(non static) to memory

I asked a question about this and I was referred to this post with the message:
This question already has an answer here:
“Notice: Undefined variable”, “Notice: Undefined index”, and “Notice: Undefined offset” using PHP
I am sharing my question and solution here:
This is the error:
Line 154 is the problem. This is what I have in line 154:
153 foreach($cities as $key => $city){
154 if(($city != 'London') && ($city != 'Madrid') && ($citiesCounterArray[$key] >= 1)){
I think the problem is that I am writing if conditions for the variable $city
, which is not the key but the value in $key => $city
. First, could you confirm if that is the cause of the warning? Second, if that is the problem, why is it that I cannot write a condition based on the value? Does it have to be with the key that I need to write the condition?
UPDATE 1: The problem is that when executing $citiesCounterArray[$key]
, sometimes the $key
corresponds to a key that does not exist in the $citiesCounterArray
array, but that is not always the case based on the data of my loop. What I need is to set a condition so that if $key
exists in the array, then run the code, otherwise, skip it.
UPDATE 2: This is how I fixed it by using array_key_exists()
:
foreach($cities as $key => $city){
if(array_key_exists($key, $citiesCounterArray)){
if(($city != 'London') && ($city != 'Madrid') && ($citiesCounterArray[$key] >= 1)){
This question is really old, but I came across this page when I was looking for the easiest and quickest way to do this. Using Webpack is much simpler:
install webpack-dev-server
npm i -g webpack-dev-server
start webpack-dev-server with https
webpack-dev-server --https
Although @yanick-rochon answer is correct, the simplest way to achieve your goal (if it's to serve a dynamically generated html) is:
var http = require('http');
http.createServer(function (req, res) {
res.write('<html><head></head><body>');
res.write('<p>Write your HTML content here</p>');
res.end('</body></html>');
}).listen(1337);
This way when you browse at http://localhost:1337
you'll get your html page.
You can use reentrant locks with a fairness policy or timeout to avoid thread starvation. You can apply a thread fairness policy. it will help avoid a thread waiting forever to get to your resources.
private final ReentrantLock lock = new ReentrantLock(true);
//the param true turns on the fairness policy.
The "fairness policy" picks the next runnable thread to execute. It is based on priority, time since last run, blah blah
also, Synchronize can block indefinitely if it cant escape the block. Reentrantlock can have timeout set.
find location -ctime time_period
Examples of time_period:
More than 30 days ago: -ctime +30
Less than 30 days ago: -ctime -30
Exactly 30 days ago: -ctime 30
I prefer this syntax as it allows to set configuration parameters for the shell:
---

shell:
cmd: |
docker build -t current_dir .
echo "Hello World"
date
chdir: /home/vagrant/
You can always jump right to the root controller:
UIStoryboard* storyboard = [UIStoryboard storyboardWithName:@"Main" bundle:nil];
UIViewController *vc = [storyboard instantiateInitialViewController];
vc.modalTransitionStyle = UIModalTransitionStyleFlipHorizontal;
[self presentViewController:vc animated:YES completion:NULL];
Here's a quick overview that explains the different build targets.
From my own experience, if you're looking to build a project that will run on both x86 and x64 platforms, and you don't have any specific x64 optimizations, I'd change the build to specifically say "x86."
The reason for this is sometimes you can get some DLL files that collide or some code that winds up crashing WoW in the x64 environment. By specifically specifying x86, the x64 OS will treat the application as a pure x86 application and make sure everything runs smoothly.
If you want the file to be opened with the default application, I mean without specifying Acrobat or Reader, you can't open the file in the specified page.
On the other hand, if you are Ok with specifying Acrobat or Reader, keep reading:
You can do it without telling the full Acrobat path, like this:
Process myProcess = new Process();
myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "acroRd32.exe"; //not the full application path
myProcess.StartInfo.Arguments = "/A \"page=2=OpenActions\" C:\\example.pdf";
myProcess.Start();
If you don't want the pdf to open with Reader but with Acrobat, chage the second line like this:
myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "Acrobat.exe";
You can query the registry to identify the default application to open pdf files and then define FileName on your process's StartInfo accordingly.
Follow this question for details on doing that: Finding the default application for opening a particular file type on Windows
If you want to move down at the end of the page (so you don't need to scroll down to bottom) , you can use:
$('body').animate({ scrollTop: $(document).height() });
I don't think it's necessary to use semi-quotes around the variables, try:
curl -XPOST 'http://localhost/Service' -d "path=%2fxyz%2fpqr%2ftest%2f&fileName=1.doc"
%2f
is the escape code for a /
.

Also, do you need to specify a port? ( just checking :) )
I just did some tests of the four options that I know about.
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) | Out-Null}
TotalMilliseconds : 76.211
Measure-Command {[Void]$(1..1000)}
TotalMilliseconds : 0.217
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) > $null}
TotalMilliseconds : 0.2478
Measure-Command {$null = $(1..1000)}
TotalMilliseconds : 0.2122
## Control, times vary from 0.21 to 0.24
Measure-Command {$(1..1000)}
TotalMilliseconds : 0.2141
So I would suggest that you use anything but Out-Null
due to overhead. The next important thing, to me, would be readability. I kind of like redirecting to $null
and setting equal to $null
myself. I use to prefer casting to [Void]
, but that may not be as understandable when glancing at code or for new users.
I guess I slightly prefer redirecting output to $null
.
Do-Something > $null
Edit
After stej's comment again, I decided to do some more tests with pipelines to better isolate the overhead of trashing the output.
Here are some tests with a simple 1000 object pipeline.
## Control Pipeline
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) | ?{$_ -is [int]}}
TotalMilliseconds : 119.3823
## Out-Null
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) | ?{$_ -is [int]} | Out-Null}
TotalMilliseconds : 190.2193
## Redirect to $null
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) | ?{$_ -is [int]} > $null}
TotalMilliseconds : 119.7923
In this case, Out-Null
has about a 60% overhead and > $null
has about a 0.3% overhead.
Addendum 2017-10-16: I originally overlooked another option with Out-Null
, the use of the -inputObject
parameter. Using this the overhead seems to disappear, however the syntax is different:
Out-Null -inputObject ($(1..1000) | ?{$_ -is [int]})
And now for some tests with a simple 100 object pipeline.
## Control Pipeline
Measure-Command {$(1..100) | ?{$_ -is [int]}}
TotalMilliseconds : 12.3566
## Out-Null
Measure-Command {$(1..100) | ?{$_ -is [int]} | Out-Null}
TotalMilliseconds : 19.7357
## Redirect to $null
Measure-Command {$(1..1000) | ?{$_ -is [int]} > $null}
TotalMilliseconds : 12.8527
Here again Out-Null
has about a 60% overhead. While > $null
has an overhead of about 4%. The numbers here varied a bit from test to test (I ran each about 5 times and picked the middle ground). But I think it shows a clear reason to not use Out-Null
.
for VS code and later versions Ctrl + P to open and then writing Whitespace, you can select the View: Toggle Render Whitespace
If you are using background image, the best way I found is:
filter: blur(5px);
margin-top: -5px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
margin-left: -5px;
padding-right: 10px;
A user in an Oracle database only has the privileges you grant. So you can create a read-only user by simply not granting any other privileges.
When you create a user
CREATE USER ro_user
IDENTIFIED BY ro_user
DEFAULT TABLESPACE users
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
the user doesn't even have permission to log in to the database. You can grant that
GRANT CREATE SESSION to ro_user
and then you can go about granting whatever read privileges you want. For example, if you want RO_USER
to be able to query SCHEMA_NAME.TABLE_NAME
, you would do something like
GRANT SELECT ON schema_name.table_name TO ro_user
Generally, you're better off creating a role, however, and granting the object privileges to the role so that you can then grant the role to different users. Something like
Create the role
CREATE ROLE ro_role;
Grant the role SELECT access on every table in a particular schema
BEGIN
FOR x IN (SELECT * FROM dba_tables WHERE owner='SCHEMA_NAME')
LOOP
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'GRANT SELECT ON schema_name.' || x.table_name ||
' TO ro_role';
END LOOP;
END;
And then grant the role to the user
GRANT ro_role TO ro_user;
The .indexOf()
method has an optional second parameter that specifies the index to start searching from, so you can call it in a loop to find all instances of a particular value:
function getAllIndexes(arr, val) {
var indexes = [], i = -1;
while ((i = arr.indexOf(val, i+1)) != -1){
indexes.push(i);
}
return indexes;
}
var indexes = getAllIndexes(Cars, "Nano");
You don't really make it clear how you want to use the indexes, so my function returns them as an array (or returns an empty array if the value isn't found), but you could do something else with the individual index values inside the loop.
UPDATE: As per VisioN's comment, a simple for loop would get the same job done more efficiently, and it is easier to understand and therefore easier to maintain:
function getAllIndexes(arr, val) {
var indexes = [], i;
for(i = 0; i < arr.length; i++)
if (arr[i] === val)
indexes.push(i);
return indexes;
}
On jenkins 2.x, with groovy plugin 2.0, running SystemGroovyScript I managed to get to build variables, as below:
def build = this.getProperty('binding').getVariable('build')
def listener = this.getProperty('binding').getVariable('listener')
def env = build.getEnvironment(listener)
println env.MY_VARIABLE
If you are using goovy from file, simple System.getenv('MY_VARIABLE')
is sufficient
try this:
Sub test()
With Application.WorksheetFunction
Cells(.CountA(Columns("A:A")) + 1, 1).Select
End With
End Sub
Hope this works for you.
Here's an extension for UIApplicationDelegate
that avoids hardcoding the AppDelegate
class name:
extension UIApplicationDelegate {
static var shared: Self {
return UIApplication.shared.delegate! as! Self
}
}
// use like this:
let appDelegate = MyAppDelegate.shared // will be of type MyAppDelegate
for Swift 3.0:
override func tableView(_ tableView: UITableView, didSelectRowAt indexPath: IndexPath) {
let cell = super.tableView(tableView, cellForRowAt: indexPath)
cell.contentView.backgroundColor = UIColor.red
}
If you're anything like me, you won't want to go through changing each index every time you want to change the column you're sorting by.
function sortByColumn(a, colIndex){
a.sort(sortFunction);
function sortFunction(a, b) {
if (a[colIndex] === b[colIndex]) {
return 0;
}
else {
return (a[colIndex] < b[colIndex]) ? -1 : 1;
}
}
return a;
}
var sorted_a = sortByColumn(a, 2);
When you use df.apply()
, each row of your DataFrame will be passed to your lambda function as a pandas Series. The frame's columns will then be the index of the series and you can access values using series[label]
.
So this should work:
df['D'] = (df.apply(lambda x: myfunc(x[colNames[0]], x[colNames[1]]), axis=1))

To answer your exact question you can get the exact behaviour you want by extending the Array prototype with:
Array.prototype.get = function(name) {
for (var i=0, len=this.length; i<len; i++) {
if (typeof this[i] != "object") continue;
if (this[i].name === name) return this[i].value;
}
};
this will add the get() method to all arrays and let you do what you want, i.e:
arr.get('k1'); //= abc
Assuming array
is a character array that does not end in \0
, you will want to use strncpy
:
char * strncpy(char * destination, const char * source, size_t num);
like so:
strncpy(string, array, 20);
string[20] = '\0'
Then string
will be a null terminated C string, as desired.
You can add your own css property for button size as follows:
.btn {
min-width: 250px;
}
thanks to Jim Petkus that did gave me a wonderful answer . but i was trying to solve my own script not to changing it to another plugin . My main focus was not using an independent plugin and do what i wanted just by using the jquery core !
and guess what i did find the problem .
var title = $("em").attr("title");
$("div").text(title);
this is what i add to my script and the blew codes to my html part :
<td> <em title=\"$weight\">$weight</em></td>
and found each row $weight value
thanks again to Jim Petkus
I recommend Dowser. It is very easy to setup, and you need zero changes to your code. You can view counts of objects of each type through time, view list of live objects, view references to live objects, all from the simple web interface.
# memdebug.py
import cherrypy
import dowser
def start(port):
cherrypy.tree.mount(dowser.Root())
cherrypy.config.update({
'environment': 'embedded',
'server.socket_port': port
})
cherrypy.server.quickstart()
cherrypy.engine.start(blocking=False)
You import memdebug, and call memdebug.start. That's all.
I haven't tried PySizer or Heapy. I would appreciate others' reviews.
UPDATE
The above code is for CherryPy 2.X
, CherryPy 3.X
the server.quickstart
method has been removed and engine.start
does not take the blocking
flag. So if you are using CherryPy 3.X
# memdebug.py
import cherrypy
import dowser
def start(port):
cherrypy.tree.mount(dowser.Root())
cherrypy.config.update({
'environment': 'embedded',
'server.socket_port': port
})
cherrypy.engine.start()
Use a loop
for(var i = 0; i < obj.length; ++i){
//do something with obj[i]
for(var ind in obj[i]) {
console.log(ind);
for(var vals in obj[i][ind]){
console.log(vals, obj[i][ind][vals]);
}
}
}
I was also getting the same issue I tried multiple IPs like my public IP and localhost default IP 127.0.0.1 in windows and default gateway but same response. but I forget to check by
C:> ipconfig
ipconfig cleanly say what is my actual IP address of that adapter with which I have connected like I was connected with Wifi adapter my IP address will show me as:
Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::69fa:9475:431e:fad7%11
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.15.92
I hope this will help you.
If you are using Angular UI Router, you can listen for the $viewContentLoaded
event.
"$viewContentLoaded - fired once the view is loaded, after the DOM is rendered. The '$scope' of the view emits the event." - Link
$scope.$on('$viewContentLoaded',
function(event){ ... });
As mentioned earlier, document.forms works too.
function setFocusToTextBox( _element ) {
document.forms[ 'myFormName' ].elements[ _element ].focus();
}
setFocusToTextBox( 0 );
// sets focus on first element of the form
I'd probably do something like this, using the find function that takes an index parameter:
def find_nth(s, x, n):
i = -1
for _ in range(n):
i = s.find(x, i + len(x))
if i == -1:
break
return i
print find_nth('bananabanana', 'an', 3)
It's not particularly Pythonic I guess, but it's simple. You could do it using recursion instead:
def find_nth(s, x, n, i = 0):
i = s.find(x, i)
if n == 1 or i == -1:
return i
else:
return find_nth(s, x, n - 1, i + len(x))
print find_nth('bananabanana', 'an', 3)
It's a functional way to solve it, but I don't know if that makes it more Pythonic.
If you receive "MMMM" as a response, probably you are getting the month and then converting it to a string of defined format.
DateTime.Now.Month.ToString("MMMM")
will output "MMMM"
DateTime.Now.ToString("MMMM")
will output the month name
I also faced this issue in phpMyAdmin. Using LOAD_DATA instead of LOAD solved the problem.
The columns were:
id,date,description,amount,payment_method
with id
as an AUTO_INCREMENT primary key.
Records were like this one:
,2019-01-01,Car insurance for year 2019,321.00,bank
The table encoding was utf8_general_ci
and the file was in utf-8
encoded.
LOAD also failed when setting manually a value for column id
.
You can simply use | filter:yourFunction:arg
<div ng-repeat="group in groups | filter:weDontLike:group">...</div>
And in js
$scope.weDontLike = function(group) {
//here your condition/criteria
return !!group
}
Can a Foreign key be NULL?
Existing answers focused on single column scenario. If we consider multi column foreign key we have more options using MATCH [SIMPLE | PARTIAL | FULL]
clause defined in SQL Standard:
A value inserted into the referencing column(s) is matched against the values of the referenced table and referenced columns using the given match type. There are three match types: MATCH FULL, MATCH PARTIAL, and MATCH SIMPLE (which is the default). MATCH FULL will not allow one column of a multicolumn foreign key to be null unless all foreign key columns are null; if they are all null, the row is not required to have a match in the referenced table. MATCH SIMPLE allows any of the foreign key columns to be null; if any of them are null, the row is not required to have a match in the referenced table. MATCH PARTIAL is not yet implemented.
(Of course, NOT NULL constraints can be applied to the referencing column(s) to prevent these cases from arising.)
Example:
CREATE TABLE A(a VARCHAR(10), b VARCHAR(10), d DATE , UNIQUE(a,b));
INSERT INTO A(a, b, d)
VALUES (NULL, NULL, NOW()),('a', NULL, NOW()),(NULL, 'b', NOW()),('c', 'b', NOW());
CREATE TABLE B(id INT PRIMARY KEY, ref_a VARCHAR(10), ref_b VARCHAR(10));
-- MATCH SIMPLE - default behaviour nulls are allowed
ALTER TABLE B ADD CONSTRAINT B_Fk FOREIGN KEY (ref_a, ref_b)
REFERENCES A(a,b) MATCH SIMPLE;
INSERT INTO B(id, ref_a, ref_b) VALUES (1, NULL, 'b');
-- (NULL/'x') 'x' value does not exists in A table, but insert is valid
INSERT INTO B(id, ref_a, ref_b) VALUES (2, NULL, 'x');
ALTER TABLE B DROP CONSTRAINT IF EXISTS B_Fk; -- cleanup
-- MATCH PARTIAL - not implemented
ALTER TABLE B ADD CONSTRAINT B_Fk FOREIGN KEY (ref_a, ref_b)
REFERENCES A(a,b) MATCH PARTIAL;
-- ERROR: MATCH PARTIAL not yet implemented
DELETE FROM B; ALTER TABLE B DROP CONSTRAINT IF EXISTS B_Fk; -- cleanup
-- MATCH FULL nulls are not allowed
ALTER TABLE B ADD CONSTRAINT B_Fk FOREIGN KEY (ref_a, ref_b)
REFERENCES A(a,b) MATCH FULL;
-- FK is defined, inserting NULL as part of FK
INSERT INTO B(id, ref_a, ref_b) VALUES (1, NULL, 'b');
-- ERROR: MATCH FULL does not allow mixing of null and nonnull key values.
-- FK is defined, inserting all NULLs - valid
INSERT INTO B(id, ref_a, ref_b) VALUES (1, NULL, NULL);

at the same time as accessing a value.
@person&.spouse&.name

Use #try

@person.try(:spouse).try(:name)
instead of
@person.spouse.name if @person && @person.spouse

You don't have to add a .
in getElementsByClassName
, i.e.
var multibutton = angular.element(element.getElementsByClassName("multi-files"));
However, when using angular.element
, you do have to use jquery style selectors:
angular.element('.multi-files');
should do the trick.
Also, from this documentation "If jQuery is available, angular.element is an alias for the jQuery function. If jQuery is not available, angular.element delegates to Angular's built-in subset of jQuery, called "jQuery lite" or "jqLite.""

S3 now offers a fully-managed SFTP Gateway Service for S3 that integrates with IAM and can be administered using aws-cli.
There are theoretical and practical reasons why this isn't a perfect solution, but it does work...
You can install an FTP/SFTP service (such as proftpd) on a linux server, either in EC2 or in your own data center... then mount a bucket into the filesystem where the ftp server is configured to chroot, using s3fs.
I have a client that serves content out of S3, and the content is provided to them by a 3rd party who only supports ftp pushes... so, with some hesitation (due to the impedance mismatch between S3 and an actual filesystem) but lacking the time to write a proper FTP/S3 gateway server software package (which I still intend to do one of these days), I proposed and deployed this solution for them several months ago and they have not reported any problems with the system.
As a bonus, since proftpd can chroot each user into their own home directory and "pretend" (as far as the user can tell) that files owned by the proftpd user are actually owned by the logged in user, this segregates each ftp user into a "subdirectory" of the bucket, and makes the other users' files inaccessible.
There is a problem with the default configuration, however.
Once you start to get a few tens or hundreds of files, the problem will manifest itself when you pull a directory listing, because ProFTPd will attempt to read the .ftpaccess
files over, and over, and over again, and for each file in the directory, .ftpaccess
is checked to see if the user should be allowed to view it.
You can disable this behavior in ProFTPd, but I would suggest that the most correct configuration is to configure additional options -o enable_noobj_cache -o stat_cache_expire=30
in s3fs:
-o stat_cache_expire
(default is no expire)specify expire time(seconds) for entries in the stat cache
Without this option, you'll make fewer requests to S3, but you also will not always reliably discover changes made to objects if external processes or other instances of s3fs are also modifying the objects in the bucket. The value "30" in my system was selected somewhat arbitrarily.
-o enable_noobj_cache
(default is disable)enable cache entries for the object which does not exist. s3fs always has to check whether file(or sub directory) exists under object(path) when s3fs does some command, since s3fs has recognized a directory which does not exist and has files or subdirectories under itself. It increases ListBucket request and makes performance bad. You can specify this option for performance, s3fs memorizes in stat cache that the object (file or directory) does not exist.
This option allows s3fs to remember that .ftpaccess
wasn't there.
Unrelated to the performance issues that can arise with ProFTPd, which are resolved by the above changes, you also need to enable -o enable_content_md5
in s3fs.
-o enable_content_md5
(default is disable)verifying uploaded data without multipart by content-md5 header. Enable to send "Content-MD5" header when uploading a object without multipart posting. If this option is enabled, it has some influences on a performance of s3fs when uploading small object. Because s3fs always checks MD5 when uploading large object, this option does not affect on large object.
This is an option which never should have been an option -- it should always be enabled, because not doing this bypasses a critical integrity check for only a negligible performance benefit. When an object is uploaded to S3 with a Content-MD5:
header, S3 will validate the checksum and reject the object if it's corrupted in transit. However unlikely that might be, it seems short-sighted to disable this safety check.
Quotes are from the man page of s3fs. Grammatical errors are in the original text.
To make sed
catch from stdin , instead of from a file, you should use -e
.
Like this:
curl -k -u admin:admin https://$HOSTNAME:9070/api/tm/3.8/status/$HOSTNAME/statistics/traffic_ips/trafc_ip/ | sed -e 's/["{}]//g' |sed -e 's/[]]//g' |sed -e 's/[\[]//g' |awk 'BEGIN{FS=":"} {print $4}'
Escape the apostrophe in O'Neal
by writing O''Neal
(two apostrophes).
Use something like the following on the server side:
http.createServer(function (request, response) {
if (request.headers['x-requested-with'] == 'XMLHttpRequest') {
// handle async request
var u = url.parse(request.url, true); //not needed
response.writeHead(200, {'content-type':'text/json'})
response.end(JSON.stringify(some_array.slice(1, 10))) //send elements 1 to 10
} else {
// handle sync request (by server index.html)
if (request.url == '/') {
response.writeHead(200, {'content-type': 'text/html'})
util.pump(fs.createReadStream('index.html'), response)
}
else
{
// 404 error
}
}
}).listen(31337)
The "iterable interface" in python consists of two methods __next__()
and __iter__()
. The __next__
function is the most important, as it defines the iterator behavior - that is, the function determines what value should be returned next. The __iter__()
method is used to reset the starting point of the iteration. Often, you will find that __iter__()
can just return self when __init__()
is used to set the starting point.
See the following code for defining a Class Reverse which implements the "iterable interface" and defines an iterator over any instance from any sequence class. The __next__()
method starts at the end of the sequence and returns values in reverse order of the sequence. Note that instances from a class implementing the "sequence interface" must define a __len__()
and a __getitem__()
method.
class Reverse:
"""Iterator for looping over a sequence backwards."""
def __init__(self, seq):
self.data = seq
self.index = len(seq)
def __iter__(self):
return self
def __next__(self):
if self.index == 0:
raise StopIteration
self.index = self.index - 1
return self.data[self.index]
>>> rev = Reverse('spam')
>>> next(rev) # note no need to call iter()
'm'
>>> nums = Reverse(range(1,10))
>>> next(nums)

I've created a simple example tutorial. You can read this and use in your application.
http://ribinsandroidhelper.blogspot.in/2013/03/qr-code-reading-on-your-application.html
Through this link you can download the qrcode library project and import into your workspace and add library to your project
and copy this code to your activity
Intent intent = new Intent("com.google.zxing.client.android.SCAN");
startActivityForResult(intent, 0);
public void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent intent) {
if (requestCode == 0) {
if (resultCode == RESULT_OK) {
String contents = intent.getStringExtra("SCAN_RESULT");
String format = intent.getStringExtra("SCAN_RESULT_FORMAT");
Toast.makeText(this, contents,Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
// Handle successful scan
} else if (resultCode == RESULT_CANCELED) {
//Handle cancel
}
}
}
On Chrome's latest update (38.0.2125.104 m at the moment), Google added the option to know whether the files loaded to the website were newly downloaded from the server - or read from the local cache.
When an error like yours "hits" the console - you know the files were just downloaded from the server and not read from the local cache. You can recreate this error by clicking Ctrl + F5 (refresh and erase cache).
It fits your description where Firebug (or equivalents) doesn't fire any errors to the console - whilst Chrome does.
So, the bottom line is - your're just fine and you can ignore this error - it's merely an indicator.
This one worked for me

Demian and Paul mention a good point; however, the placement of the code to execute really depends on how you want to use the data...
I'm a big fan of small data objects that can be used in many ways. If you follow the override (polymorphic) approach, your objects can only be used "one way".
This is where patterns come in...
You can use double-dispatch (as in the visitor pattern) to ask each object to "call you" passing itself -- this will resolve the type of the object. However (again) you'll need a class that can "do stuff" with all of the possible subtypes.
I prefer to use a strategy pattern, where you can register strategies for each subtype you want to handle. Something like the following. Note that this only helps for exact type matches, but has the advantage that it's extensible - third-party contributors can add their own types and handlers. (This is good for dynamic frameworks like OSGi, where new bundles can be added)
Hopefully this will inspire some other ideas...

Easy solution would be to apply : idxmax() function to get indices of rows with max values. This would filter out all the rows with max value in the group.
In [365]: import pandas as pd
In [366]: df = pd.DataFrame({
'sp' : ['MM1', 'MM1', 'MM1', 'MM2', 'MM2', 'MM2', 'MM4', 'MM4','MM4'],
'mt' : ['S1', 'S1', 'S3', 'S3', 'S4', 'S4', 'S2', 'S2', 'S2'],
'val' : ['a', 'n', 'cb', 'mk', 'bg', 'dgb', 'rd', 'cb', 'uyi'],
'count' : [3,2,5,8,10,1,2,2,7]
})
In [367]: df
Out[367]:
count mt sp val
0 3 S1 MM1 a
1 2 S1 MM1 n
2 5 S3 MM1 cb
3 8 S3 MM2 mk
4 10 S4 MM2 bg
5 1 S4 MM2 dgb
6 2 S2 MM4 rd
7 2 S2 MM4 cb
8 7 S2 MM4 uyi
### Apply idxmax() and use .loc() on dataframe to filter the rows with max values:
In [368]: df.loc[df.groupby(["sp", "mt"])["count"].idxmax()]
Out[368]:
count mt sp val
0 3 S1 MM1 a
2 5 S3 MM1 cb
3 8 S3 MM2 mk
4 10 S4 MM2 bg
8 7 S2 MM4 uyi
### Just to show what values are returned by .idxmax() above:
In [369]: df.groupby(["sp", "mt"])["count"].idxmax().values
Out[369]: array([0, 2, 3, 4, 8])
Sounds like you're trying to execute the PHP code directly in your shell. Your shell doesn't speak PHP, so it interprets your PHP code as though it's in your shell's native language, as though you had literally run <?php
at the command line.
Shell scripts usually start with a "shebang" line that tells the shell what program to use to interpret the file. Begin your file like this:
#!/usr/bin/env php
<?php
//Connection
function connection () {
Besides that, the string you're passing to exec
doesn't make any sense. It starts with a slash all by itself, it uses too many periods in the path, and it has a stray right parenthesis.
Copy the contents of the command string and paste them at your command line. If it doesn't run there, then exec
probably won't be able to run it, either.
Another option is to change the command you execute. Instead of running the script directly, run php
and pass your script as an argument. Then you shouldn't need the shebang line.
exec('php name.php');
Surely have a mutex-wrapped variable initialised to false
, that the thread sets to true
as the last thing it does before exiting. Is that atomic enough for your needs?
Inside the workbench right click the table in question and click "Select Rows - Limit 1000." It's the first option in the pop-up menu.
Try Aspose.Words for java.
Aspose.Words for Java is an advanced (commercial) class library for Java that enables you to perform a great range of document processing tasks directly within your Java applications.
Aspose.Words for Java supports DOC, OOXML, RTF, HTML and OpenDocument formats. With Aspose.Words you can generate, modify, and convert documents without using Microsoft Word.
The built-in module querystring
is what you're looking for:
var querystring = require("querystring");
var result = querystring.stringify({query: "SELECT name FROM user WHERE uid = me()"});
console.log(result);
#prints 'query=SELECT%20name%20FROM%20user%20WHERE%20uid%20%3D%20me()'
For a structure definition that is to be used across more than one source file, you should definitely put it in a header file. Then include that header file in any source file that needs the structure.
The extern
declaration is not used for structure definitions, but is instead used for variable declarations (that is, some data value with a structure type that you have defined). If you want to use the same variable across more than one source file, declare it as extern
in a header file like:
extern struct a myAValue;
Then, in one source file, define the actual variable:
struct a myAValue;
If you forget to do this or accidentally define it in two source files, the linker will let you know about this.
As far as I can tell, most of the other answers have a few problems.
The correct way to do this for a disk-based (as opposed to web-based), non-GACed assembly is to use the currently executing assembly's CodeBase
property.
This returns a URL (file://
). Instead of messing around with string manipulation or UnescapeDataString
, this can be converted with minimal fuss by leveraging the LocalPath
property of Uri
.
var codeBaseUrl = Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().CodeBase;
var filePathToCodeBase = new Uri(codeBaseUrl).LocalPath;
var directoryPath = Path.GetDirectoryName(filePathToCodeBase);
I think you are looking for Return
instead of Break
. Break is typically used for loops and only breaks from the innermost code block. Use Return to exit a function or script.
Spring was dependency injection in the begining, then add king of wrappers for almost everything (wrapper over JPA implementations etc).
Long story ... most parts of Spring preffer XML solutions (XML scripting engine ... brrrr), so for DI I use Guice
Good library, but with growing depnedenciec, for example Spring JDBC (maybe one Java jdbc solution with real names parameters) take from maven 4-5 next.
Using Spring MVC (part of "big spring") for web development ... it is "request based" framework, there is holy war "request vs component" ... up to You
JSON.stringify
takes more optional arguments.
Try:
JSON.stringify({a:1,b:2,c:{d:1,e:[1,2]}}, null, 4); // Indented 4 spaces
JSON.stringify({a:1,b:2,c:{d:1,e:[1,2]}}, null, "\t"); // Indented with tab

How can I beautify JSON programmatically?
Should work in modern browsers, and it is included in json2.js if you need a fallback for browsers that don't support the JSON helper functions. For display purposes, put the output in a <pre>
tag to get newlines to show.
Your created_date field is datetime
, so you'll need to strip off the time before the grouping will work if you want to go by date:
SELECT COUNT(created_date), created_date
FROM table
WHERE DATEDIFF(created_date, getdate()) < 10
GROUP BY convert(varchar, created_date, 101)
No, image/jpg
is not the same as image/jpeg
.
You should use image/jpeg
. Only image/jpeg
is recognised as the actual mime type for JPEG files.
See https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3745, https://www.w3.org/Graphics/JPEG/ .
Serving the incorrect Content-Type of image/jpg
to IE can cause issues, see http://www.bennadel.com/blog/2609-internet-explorer-aborts-images-with-the-wrong-mime-type.htm.
You may also try standard sql un-pivoting method by using a sequence of logic with the following code.. The following code has 3 steps:
remove any null combinations ( if exists, table expression can be fully avoided if there are strictly no null values in base table)
select *
from
(
select name, subject,
case subject
when 'Maths' then maths
when 'Science' then science
when 'English' then english
end as Marks
from studentmarks
Cross Join (values('Maths'),('Science'),('English')) AS Subjct(Subject)
)as D
where marks is not null;
The comments state the objective is to print to 2 decimal places.
There's a simple answer for Python 3:
>>> num=3.65
>>> "The number is {:.2f}".format(num)
'The number is 3.65'
or equivalently with f-strings (Python 3.6+):
>>> num = 3.65
>>> f"The number is {num:.2f}"
'The number is 3.65'
As always, the float value is an approximation:
>>> "{}".format(num)
'3.65'
>>> "{:.10f}".format(num)
'3.6500000000'
>>> "{:.20f}".format(num)
'3.64999999999999991118'
I think most use cases will want to work with floats and then only print to a specific precision.
Those that want the numbers themselves to be stored to exactly 2 decimal digits of precision, I suggest use the decimal type. More reading on floating point precision for those that are interested.
or you could just write the power function, with recursion as a added bonus
int power(int x, int y){
if(y == 0)
return 1;
return (x * power(x,y-1) );
}
yes,yes i know this is less effecient space and time complexity but recursion is just more fun!!
Lambda expressions have a type of Action<parameters>
(in case they don't return a value) or Func<parameters,return>
(in case they have a return value). In your case you have two input parameters, and you need to return a value, so you should use:
Func<FullTimeJob, Student, FullTimeJob>
If you are getting json string from URL using file_get_contents
, then follow the steps:
$url = "http://localhost/rest/users"; //The url from where you are getting the contents
$response = (file_get_contents($url)); //Converting in json string
$n = strpos($response, "[");
$response = substr_replace($response,"",0,$n+1);
$response = substr_replace($response, "" , -1,1);
print_r(json_decode($response,true));
Add this line under the dependencies in your gradle file
compile 'com.android.support:support-annotations:27.1.1'
This worked for me:
ALTER USER USER() IDENTIFIED BY 'auth_string';
I found it here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/alter-user.html#alter-user-current
I'm assuming that your container element is probably position:relative;
. This is will mean that the dialog box will be positioned accordingly to the container, not the page.
Can you change the markup to this?
<html>
<body>
<!-- Need to place this div at the top right of the page-->
<div class="ajax-message">
<div class="row">
<div class="span9">
<div class="alert">
<a class="close icon icon-remove"></a>
<div class="message-content">
Some message goes here
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="container">
<!-- Page contents starts here. These are dynamic-->
<div class="row">
<div class="span12 inner-col">
<h2>Documents</h2>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>
With the dialog box outside the main container then you can use absolute positioning relative to the page.
cost = Select Supplier_Item.Price from Supplier_Item,orderdetails,Supplier
where Supplier_Item.SKU=OrderDetails.Sku and
Supplier_Item.SupplierId=Supplier.SupplierID
This subquery returns multiple values, SQL is complaining because it can't assign multiple values to cost in a single record.
Some ideas:
Another alternative would be JasperReports: JasperReports Library. It uses iText itself and is more than a PDF library you asked for, but if it fits your needs I'd go for it.
Simply put, it allows you to design reports that can be filled during runtime. If you use a custom datasource, you might be able to integrate JasperReports easily into the existing system. It would save you the whole layouting troubles, e.g. when invoices span over more sites where each side should have a footer and so on.
Use setDate
.datepicker( "setDate" , date )
Sets the current date for the datepicker. The new date may be a Date object or a string in the current date format (e.g. '01/26/2009'), a number of days from today (e.g. +7) or a string of values and periods ('y' for years, 'm' for months, 'w' for weeks, 'd' for days, e.g. '+1m +7d'), or null to clear the selected date.
Use the following for multiple .cpp files
g++ *.cpp
./a.out
The syntax for using an alias in an update statement on SQL Server is as follows:
UPDATE Q
SET Q.TITLE = 'TEST'
FROM HOLD_TABLE Q
WHERE Q.ID = 101;
The alias should not be necessary here though.
cPickle
comes with the standard library… in python 2.x. You are on python 3.x, so if you want cPickle
, you can do this:
>>> import _pickle as cPickle
However, in 3.x, it's easier just to use pickle
.
No need to install anything. If something requires cPickle
in python 3.x, then that's probably a bug.
Use local-web-server npm package.
https://www.npmjs.com/package/local-web-server
$ npm install -g local-web-server
$ cd <your-app-folder>
$ ws
Also, you can run
$ ws -p 8181
-p defines the port you want to use
After that, just go to your browser and access http:localhost:8181/
You got a ninja ')'.
Try :
<div *ngIf="currentStatus !== 'open' || currentStatus !== 'reopen'">
runProguard has been renamed to minifyEnabled in version 0.14.0 (2014/10/31) or more in Gradle.
To fix this, you need to change runProguard to minifyEnabled in the build.gradle file of your project.
if (strstr(request, "favicon") != NULL) {
// contains
}
To expand on this (even though it is an older question); It is not not about the MySQL space itself probably, but about space in general, assuming for tmp files or something like that. My mysql data dir was not full, the / (root) partition was
$it = new RegexIterator(new DirectoryIterator("."), "/\\.xml\$/i"));
foreach ($it as $filename) {
//...
}
You can also use the recursive variants of the iterators to traverse an entire directory hierarchy.
Try this code...
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(UpdatePanel1, this.GetType(), "script", "alert('Hi');", true);
Where UpdatePanel1
is the id
for Updatepanel
on your page
Is Java smart enough to skip checking bool2 and bool2 if bool1 was evaluated to false?
Its not a matter of being smart, its a requirement specified in the language. Otherwise you couldn't write expressions like.
if(s != null && s.length() > 0)
or
if(s == null || s.length() == 0)
BTW if you use &
and |
it will always evaluate both sides of the expression.
Javascript String objects have a split function, doesn't really need to be jQuery specific
var str = "nice.test"
var strs = str.split(".")
strs would be
["nice", "test"]
I'd be tempted to use JSON in your example though. The php could return the JSON which could easily be parsed
success: function(data) {
var items = JSON.parse(data)
}
The strategy from Wikipedia for playing a perfect game (win or tie every time) seems like straightforward pseudo-code:
Quote from Wikipedia (Tic Tac Toe#Strategy)
A player can play a perfect game of Tic-tac-toe (to win or, at least, draw) if they choose the first available move from the following list, each turn, as used in Newell and Simon's 1972 tic-tac-toe program.[6]
Win: If you have two in a row, play the third to get three in a row.
Block: If the opponent has two in a row, play the third to block them.
Fork: Create an opportunity where you can win in two ways.
Block Opponent's Fork:
Option 1: Create two in a row to force the opponent into defending, as long as it doesn't result in them creating a fork or winning. For example, if "X" has a corner, "O" has the center, and "X" has the opposite corner as well, "O" must not play a corner in order to win. (Playing a corner in this scenario creates a fork for "X" to win.)
Option 2: If there is a configuration where the opponent can fork, block that fork.
Center: Play the center.
Opposite Corner: If the opponent is in the corner, play the opposite corner.
Empty Corner: Play an empty corner.
Empty Side: Play an empty side.
Recognizing what a "fork" situation looks like could be done in a brute-force manner as suggested.
Note: A "perfect" opponent is a nice exercise but ultimately not worth 'playing' against. You could, however, alter the priorities above to give characteristic weaknesses to opponent personalities.
Use GSON for converting POJO to JSONObject. Refer here.
For converting JSONObject to POJO, just call the setter method in the POJO and assign the values directly from the JSONObject.
You could use the following query:
SELECT table1.id
FROM table1
LEFT JOIN table2
ON table1.id IN (table2.user_one, table2.user_two)
WHERE table2.user_one IS NULL;
Although, depending on your indexes on table2
you may find that two joins performs better:
SELECT table1.id
FROM table1
LEFT JOIN table2 AS t1
ON table1.id = t1.user_one
LEFT JOIN table2 AS t2
ON table1.id = t2.user_two
WHERE t1.user_one IS NULL
AND t2.user_two IS NULL;
It's hard to say without knowing the whole context of the problem, but I would not override __iter__
.
I would implement __what_goes_here__
on the class.
as_dict(self:
d = {...whatever you need...}
return d
I'm not sure about best practice, but here is how I do it:
/*
* Object Constructor
*/
var foo = function(x) {
this.x = x;
};
/*
* Object Protoype
*/
foo.prototype = {
/*
* f is the name that is going to be used to call the various overloaded versions
*/
f: function() {
/*
* Save 'this' in order to use it inside the overloaded functions
* because there 'this' has a different meaning.
*/
var that = this;
/*
* Define three overloaded functions
*/
var f1 = function(arg1) {
console.log("f1 called with " + arg1);
return arg1 + that.x;
}
var f2 = function(arg1, arg2) {
console.log("f2 called with " + arg1 + " and " + arg2);
return arg1 + arg2 + that.x;
}
var f3 = function(arg1) {
console.log("f3 called with [" + arg1[0] + ", " + arg1[1] + "]");
return arg1[0] + arg1[1];
}
/*
* Use the arguments array-like object to decide which function to execute when calling f(...)
*/
if (arguments.length === 1 && !Array.isArray(arguments[0])) {
return f1(arguments[0]);
} else if (arguments.length === 2) {
return f2(arguments[0], arguments[1]);
} else if (arguments.length === 1 && Array.isArray(arguments[0])) {
return f3(arguments[0]);
}
}
}
/*
* Instantiate an object
*/
var obj = new foo("z");
/*
* Call the overloaded functions using f(...)
*/
console.log(obj.f("x")); // executes f1, returns "xz"
console.log(obj.f("x", "y")); // executes f2, returns "xyz"
console.log(obj.f(["x", "y"])); // executes f3, returns "xy"
You can declare multi dimensional arrays like :
// 4 x 5 String arrays, all Strings are null
// [0] -> [null,null,null,null,null]
// [1] -> [null,null,null,null,null]
// [2] -> [null,null,null,null,null]
// [3] -> [null,null,null,null,null]
String[][] sa1 = new String[4][5];
for(int i = 0; i < sa1.length; i++) { // sa1.length == 4
for (int j = 0; j < sa1[i].length; j++) { //sa1[i].length == 5
sa1[i][j] = "new String value";
}
}
// 5 x 0 All String arrays are null
// [null]
// [null]
// [null]
// [null]
// [null]
String[][] sa2 = new String[5][];
for(int i = 0; i < sa2.length; i++) {
String[] anon = new String[ /* your number here */];
// or String[] anon = new String[]{"I'm", "a", "new", "array"};
sa2[i] = anon;
}
// [0] -> ["I'm","in","the", "0th", "array"]
// [1] -> ["I'm", "in", "another"]
String[][] sa3 = new String[][]{ {"I'm","in","the", "0th", "array"},{"I'm", "in", "another"}};
100% with what MarkR said. autocommit makes each statement a one statement transaction.
SHOW ENGINE INNODB STATUS
should give you some clues as to the deadlock reason. Have a good look at your slow query log too to see what else is querying the table and try to remove anything that's doing a full tablescan. Row level locking works well but not when you're trying to lock all of the rows!
It's a syntactically valid request, but not a satisfiable request. If you look further in that section you see:
If a syntactically valid byte-range-set includes at least one byte- range-spec whose first-byte-pos is less than the current length of the entity-body, or at least one suffix-byte-range-spec with a non- zero suffix-length, then the byte-range-set is satisfiable. Otherwise, the byte-range-set is unsatisfiable. If the byte-range-set is unsatisfiable, the server SHOULD return a response with a status of 416 (Requested range not satisfiable). Otherwise, the server SHOULD return a response with a status of 206 (Partial Content) containing the satisfiable ranges of the entity-body.
So I think in your example, the server should return a 416 since it's not a valid byte range for that file.
If you commit one file and push your revision, it will not transfer the whole repository, it will push changes.
For those looking for an example of how to pass the OAuth2 authorization (access token) in the header (as opposed to using a request or body parameter), here is how it's done:
Authorization: Bearer 0b79bab50daca910b000d4f1a2b675d604257e42
Anyone who is just starting with Haskell and trying to print an Int, use:
module Lib
( someFunc
) where
someFunc :: IO ()
x = 123
someFunc = putStrLn (show x)
Another answer with later print/format style is:
res[0]=12
res[1]=23
print("my num is 0x{0:02x}{1:02x}".format(res[0],res[1]))
For SQL Server 2012 and above: If you place the query into a string then you can get the result set data types like so:
DECLARE @query nvarchar(max) = 'select 12.1 / 10.1 AS [Column1]';
EXEC sp_describe_first_result_set @query, null, 0;
I think MAVEN_OPTS
would be most appropriate for you. See here: http://maven.apache.org/configure.html
In Unix:
Add the
MAVEN_OPTS
environment variable to specify JVM properties, e.g.export MAVEN_OPTS="-Xms256m -Xmx512m"
. This environment variable can be used to supply extra options to Maven.
In Win, you need to set environment variable via the dialogue box
Add ... environment variable by opening up the system properties (
WinKey + Pause
),... In the same dialog, add theMAVEN_OPTS
environment variable in the user variables to specify JVM properties, e.g. the value-Xms256m -Xmx512m
. This environment variable can be used to supply extra options to Maven.
$request->validate([
'phone' => 'numeric|required',
'body' => 'required',
]);
I would rather use the following class to generate random numbers:
byte[] random;
System.Security.Cryptography.RNGCryptoServiceProvider prov = new System.Security.Cryptography.RNGCryptoServiceProvider();
prov.GetBytes(random);
I've seen those terms used interchangeably, but there are different ways of implementing it:
I would suspect that sticky might refer to the cookie way, and that affinity might refer to #2 and #3 in some contexts, but that's not how I have seen it used (or use it myself)
Think of strings as abstract objects, and char arrays as containers. The string can be any size but the container must be at least 1 more than the string length (to hold the null terminator).
C has very little syntactical support for strings. There are no string operators (only char-array and char-pointer operators). You can't assign strings.
But you can call functions to help achieve what you want.
The strncpy()
function could be used here. For maximum safety I suggest following this pattern:
strncpy(p.name, "Jane", 19);
p.name[19] = '\0'; //add null terminator just in case
Also have a look at the strncat()
and memcpy()
functions.
Coming late to the party, but I found this fantastic step-by-step guide on getting control of your SQLExpress instance if you don't have your sa password. I used this process to not only reset my sa password, but I also added my domain account to all the available server roles. I can now create databases, alter logins, do bulk operations, backups/restores, etc using my normal login.
To summarize, you use SQL Server Configuration Manager to put your instance into single-user mode. This elevates you to sysadmin when you connect, allowing you the ability to set everything up.
Edit: I've copied the steps below - kudos to the original author of the link above.
Just try to without changing anything
npm install [email protected]
X.X.X is your current version
This error can occur in several places, most commonly running further LINQ queries on top of a null collection. LINQ as Query Syntax can appear more null-safe than it is. Consider the following samples:
var filteredCollection = from item in getMyCollection()
orderby item.ReportDate
select item;
This code is not NULL SAFE, meaning that if getMyCollection()
returns a null, you'll get the Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source
error. Very annoying! But it makes perfect sense because LINQ Query syntax is just syntactic sugar for this equivalent code:
var filteredCollection = getMyCollection().OrderBy(x => x.ReportDate);
Which obviously will blow up if the starting method returns a null.
To prevent this, you can use a null coalescing operator in your LINQ query like so:
var filteredCollection = from item in getMyCollection() ??
Enumerable.Empty<CollectionItemClass>()
orderby item.ReportDate
select item;
However, you'll have to remember to do this in any related queries. The best approach (if you control the code that generates the collection) is to make it a coding practice to NEVER RETURN A NULL COLLECTION, EVER. In some cases, returning a null object from a method like "getCustomerById(string id)
" is fine, depending on your team coding style, but if you have a method that returns a collection of business objects, like "getAllcustomers()
" then it should NEVER return a null array/enumerable/etc. Always always always use an if
check, the null coalescing operator, or some other switch to return an empty array/list/enumerable etc, so that consumers of your method can freely LINQ over the results.
s/\([^)]*\)//
So in Python, you'd do:
re.sub(r'\([^)]*\)', '', filename)
You could just re-direct specific numbers in your contacts to your voice-mail. That's already supported.
Otherwise I guess the documentation for 'Contacts' would be a good place to start looking.
Although this thread dates back to 2014, the issue can still be current to many of us. Here is how I dealt with it in a jQuery 1.12 /PHP 5.6 context:
PHP Code sample:
if (!empty($_SERVER['HTTP_ORIGIN'])) {
// Uh oh, this XHR comes from outer space...
// Use this opportunity to filter out referers that shouldn't be allowed to see this request
if (!preg_match('@\.partner\.domain\.net$@'))
die("End of the road if you're not my business partner.");
// otherwise oblige
header("Access-Control-Allow-Origin: " . $_SERVER['HTTP_ORIGIN']);
}
else {
// local request, no need to send a specific header for CORS
}
In particular, don't add an exit;
as no preflight is needed.
Yes using Option Explicit
is a good habit. Using .Select
however is not :) it reduces the speed of the code. Also fully justify sheet names else the code will always run for the Activesheet
which might not be what you actually wanted.
Is this what you are trying?
Option Explicit
Sub Sample()
Dim lastRow As Long, i As Long
Dim CopyRange As Range
'~~> Change Sheet1 to relevant sheet name
With Sheets("Sheet1")
lastRow = .Range("A" & .Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For i = 2 To lastRow
If Len(Trim(.Range("A" & i).Value)) <> 0 Then
If CopyRange Is Nothing Then
Set CopyRange = .Rows(i)
Else
Set CopyRange = Union(CopyRange, .Rows(i))
End If
Else
Exit For
End If
Next
If Not CopyRange Is Nothing Then
'~~> Change Sheet2 to relevant sheet name
CopyRange.Copy Sheets("Sheet2").Rows(1)
End If
End With
End Sub
NOTE
If if you have data from Row 2 till Row 10 and row 11 is blank and then you have data again from Row 12 then the above code will only copy data from Row 2 till Row 10
If you want to copy all rows which have data then use this code.
Option Explicit
Sub Sample()
Dim lastRow As Long, i As Long
Dim CopyRange As Range
'~~> Change Sheet1 to relevant sheet name
With Sheets("Sheet1")
lastRow = .Range("A" & .Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
For i = 2 To lastRow
If Len(Trim(.Range("A" & i).Value)) <> 0 Then
If CopyRange Is Nothing Then
Set CopyRange = .Rows(i)
Else
Set CopyRange = Union(CopyRange, .Rows(i))
End If
End If
Next
If Not CopyRange Is Nothing Then
'~~> Change Sheet2 to relevant sheet name
CopyRange.Copy Sheets("Sheet2").Rows(1)
End If
End With
End Sub
Hope this is what you wanted?

HttpClient httpClient = new HttpClient();
var result = httpClient.GetAsync("https://www.google.com").Result;

In version 3, they changed "export" to "unload". It still functions more or less the same.
You can also try this. Credits to the original author who has since removed the script

I had the same problem trying to show a Toast in a fragment.
After some debugging I found out that I was removing the fragment before calling:
Toast.makeText(getContext(), "text", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
Because the fragment had been removed, the context became null, causing the exception.
Simple solution: call the getContext()
before removing the fragment.
Although this does not help you right away, there is an alternative that can work with both Unix (fcntl) and Windows (win32 api calls), called: portalocker
It describes itself as a cross-platform (posix/nt) API for flock-style file locking for Python. It basically maps fcntl to win32 api calls.
The original code at http://code.activestate.com/recipes/65203/ can now be installed as a separate package - https://pypi.python.org/pypi/portalocker
How about this:
from functools import partial
d2o=partial(type, "d2o", ())
This can then be used like this:
>>> o=d2o({"a" : 5, "b" : 3})
>>> print o.a
5
>>> print o.b

For languages not specifying a memory model, you are writing code for the language and the memory model specified by the processor architecture. The processor may choose to re-order memory accesses for performance. So, if your program has data races (a data race is when it's possible for multiple cores / hyper-threads to access the same memory concurrently) then your program is not cross platform because of its dependence on the processor memory model. You may refer to the Intel or AMD software manuals to find out how the processors may re-order memory accesses.
Very importantly, locks (and concurrency semantics with locking) are typically implemented in a cross platform way... So if you are using standard locks in a multithreaded program with no data races then you don't have to worry about cross platform memory models.
Interestingly, Microsoft compilers for C++ have acquire / release semantics for volatile which is a C++ extension to deal with the lack of a memory model in C++ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/12a04hfd(v=vs.80).aspx. However, given that Windows runs on x86 / x64 only, that's not saying much (Intel and AMD memory models make it easy and efficient to implement acquire / release semantics in a language).
Locate your mysql instance with:
which mysql
If this is correct then export with the following (else navigate to the mysql instance in your mamp folder in bin):
mysqldump -u [username] -p [password] [dbname] > filename.sql
And if you wish to zip it at the sametime:
mysqldump -u [username] -p [password] [db] | gzip > filename.sql.gz
You can then move this file between servers with:
scp [email protected]:/path_to_your_dump/filename.sql.gz your_detination_path/
(where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the server IP address)
And then import it with:
gunzip filename.sql.gz | mysql -u [user] -p [password] [database]
There are many ways to do it, but this is pretty simple and avoids issues with disrupting inline content positioning. You might need to adjust for margins/padding, too.

I had the same problem. Even after updating the password using sudo passwd it was not working. I had to give "multiple" roles for my user through IAM & Admin Refer Screen Shot on IAM & Admin screen of google cloud
After that i restarted the VM. Then again changed the password and then it worked.

If you use ES6 anon functions, it will conflict with $(this)
This works:
$('.dna-list').on('click', '.card', function(e) {
console.log($(this));
});
This doesn't work:
$('.dna-list').on('click', '.card', (e) => {
console.log($(this));
});
To run an executable in mac
1). Move to the path of the file:
cd/PATH_OF_THE_FILE
2). Run the following command to set the file's executable bit using the chmod command:
chmod +x ./NAME_OF_THE_FILE
3). Run the following command to execute the file:
./NAME_OF_THE_FILE
Once you have run these commands, going ahead you just have to run command 3, while in the files path.
There is no operator, but there is a method.
Math.pow(2, 3) // 8.0
Math.pow(3, 2) // 9.0
FYI, a common mistake is to assume 2 ^ 3
is 2 to the 3rd power. It is not. The caret is a valid operator in Java (and similar languages), but it is binary xor.
First I would suggest putting a Log in each case of your switch to be sure that your code is being called.
Then I would check that the layouts are actually different.
It seems Subclipse only allows you to add a top-level folder to ignore list and not any sub folders under it. Not sure why it works this way. However, I found out by trial and error that if you directly add a sub-folder to version control, then it will allow you to add another folder at the same level to the ignore list.
For example, refer fig above, when I wanted to ignore the webapp folder without adding src, subclipse was not allowing me to do so. But when I added the java folder to version control, the "add to svn:ignore..." was enabled for webapp.
To link to a form you need:
Form2 form2 = new Form2();
form2.show();
this.hide();
then hide the previous form
Please note this doesn't solve the cookie sharing process, as in general this is bad practice.
You need to be using JSONP as your type:
From $.ajax documentation: Cross-domain requests and dataType: "jsonp" requests do not support synchronous operation.
$.ajax(
{
type: "POST",
url: "http://example.com/api/getlist.json",
dataType: 'jsonp',
xhrFields: {
withCredentials: true
},
crossDomain: true,
beforeSend: function(xhr) {
xhr.setRequestHeader("Cookie", "session=xxxyyyzzz");
},
success: function(){
alert('success');
},
error: function (xhr) {
alert(xhr.responseText);
}
}
);
my way to reset all submodules (WITHOUT detaching & keeping their "master" branch):
git submodule foreach 'git checkout master && git reset --hard $sha1'
maxAge = Persons.Max(c => c.age)
or something along those lines.
You can figure out the dimensions of the screen dynamically
Display mDisplay= activity.getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay();
int width= mDisplay.getWidth();
int Height= mDisplay.getHeight();
The layout can be set using the width and the height obtained using this method.
use [[NSDate date] timeIntervalSince1970]
The project JsonSubTypes implement a generic converter that handle this feature with the helps of attributes.
For the concrete sample provided here is how it works:

[JsonSubtypes.KnownSubTypeWithProperty(typeof(Artist), "Skill")]
public class Person

{
public string Department { get; set; }
public string JobTitle { get; set; }
}
public class Artist : Person
{
public string Skill { get; set; }
}
[TestMethod]
public void Demo()

string json = "[{\"Department\":\"Department1\",\"JobTitle\":\"JobTitle1\",\"FirstName\":\"FirstName1\",\"LastName\":\"LastName1\"}," +
"{\"Department\":\"Department1\",\"JobTitle\":\"JobTitle1\",\"FirstName\":\"FirstName1\",\"LastName\":\"LastName1\"}," +
"{\"Skill\":\"Painter\",\"FirstName\":\"FirstName1\",\"LastName\":\"LastName1\"}]";
var persons = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<IReadOnlyCollection<Person>>(json);
Assert.AreEqual("Painter", (persons.Last() as Artist)?.Skill);
}

Swift Syntax:
UIApplication.sharedApplication().openURL(NSURL(string:"http://www.reddit.com/")!)
New Swift Syntax for iOS 9.3 and earlier
As of some new version of Swift (possibly swift 2?), UIApplication.sharedApplication() is now UIApplication.shared (making better use of computed properties I'm guessing). Additionally URL is no longer implicitly convertible to NSURL, must be explicitly converted with as!
UIApplication.sharedApplication.openURL(NSURL(string:"http://www.reddit.com/") as! URL)
New Swift Syntax as of iOS 10.0
The openURL method has been deprecated and replaced with a more versatile method which takes an options object and an asynchronous completion handler as of iOS 10.0
UIApplication.shared.open(NSURL(string:"http://www.reddit.com/")! as URL)
Why "one line"? You can fit anything onto one line.
Assuming you want them to start with 'a', and increment by one character each time (with wrapping > 26), here's a line:
>>> mkstring = lambda(x): "".join(map(chr, (ord('a')+(y%26) for y in range(x))))
>>> mkstring(10)
'abcdefghij'
>>> mkstring(30)
'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcd'
You can achieve this with the following code:
$("input").change(function(e) {
for (var i = 0; i < e.originalEvent.srcElement.files.length; i++) {
var file = e.originalEvent.srcElement.files[i];
var img = document.createElement("img");
var reader = new FileReader();
reader.onloadend = function() {
img.src = reader.result;
}
reader.readAsDataURL(file);
$("input").after(img);
}
});
Oh, I just found that command on PostgreSQL forum:
SELECT * FROM pg_stat_activity;
If you're already running the SQL shell, you can use the source
command to import data:
use databasename;
source data.sql;
With the following extension method you can get away without reflection:
public static Type GetListType<T>(this List<T> _)
{
return typeof(T);
}
Or more general:
public static Type GetEnumeratedType<T>(this IEnumerable<T> _)
{
return typeof(T);
}
Usage:
List<string> list = new List<string> { "a", "b", "c" };
IEnumerable<string> strings = list;
IEnumerable<object> objects = list;
Type listType = list.GetListType(); // string
Type stringsType = strings.GetEnumeratedType(); // string
Type objectsType = objects.GetEnumeratedType(); // BEWARE: object
For very simple cases you can simply use a hardcoded String replace, no need for a library there:
String url = "There's an incorrect value '%(value)' in column # %(column)";
url = url.replace("%(value)", x); // 1
url = url.replace("%(column)", y); // 2
WARNING: I just wanted to show the simplest code possible. Of course DO NOT use this for serious production code where security matters, as stated in the comments: escaping, error handling and security are an issue here. But in the worst case you now know why using a 'good' lib is required :-)
This code works for me:
public void Run()
{
Dog myDog = new Dog();
myDog.Name= "Foo";
myDog.Color = DogColor.Brown;
System.Console.WriteLine("{0}", myDog.ToString());
MemoryStream stream = SerializeToStream(myDog);
Dog newDog = (Dog)DeserializeFromStream(stream);
System.Console.WriteLine("{0}", newDog.ToString());
}
Where the types are like this:
[Serializable]
public enum DogColor
{
Brown,
Black,
Mottled
}
[Serializable]
public class Dog
{
public String Name
{
get; set;
}
public DogColor Color
{
get;set;
}
public override String ToString()
{
return String.Format("Dog: {0}/{1}", Name, Color);
}
}
and the utility methods are:
public static MemoryStream SerializeToStream(object o)
{
MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream();
IFormatter formatter = new BinaryFormatter();
formatter.Serialize(stream, o);
return stream;
}
public static object DeserializeFromStream(MemoryStream stream)
{
IFormatter formatter = new BinaryFormatter();
stream.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin);
object o = formatter.Deserialize(stream);
return o;
}
In case someone was looking for an answer and landed here like me, from Chrome 34 and Firefox 33 you can do the following:
var form = document.theForm;
var radios = form.elements['genderS'];
alert(radios.value);
or simpler:
alert(document.theForm.genderS.value);
refrence: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/RadioNodeList/value
You're sending JSON-formatted data to a server which isn't expecting that format. You already provided the format that the server needs, so you'll need to format it yourself which is pretty simple.
var data = '"title='+title+'" "text='+text+'" "file='+file+'"';
$http.post(uploadUrl, data)
If it's OK to make a new array it's this:
$result = array();
foreach ( $array as $key => $val )
$result[ $key+1 ] = $val;
If you need reversal in-place, you need to run backwards so you don't stomp on indexes that you need:
for ( $k = count($array) ; $k-- > 0 ; )
$result[ $k+1 ] = $result[ $k ];
unset( $array[0] ); // remove the "zero" element

Those of you using Git on Windows: What tool do you use to edit your commit messages, and what did you have to do to make it work?
The tool that I find the most useful as both my git editor and my general-purpose code editor, in both Windows and Linux, is Sublime Text 3. It works really well, but requires a little bit of setup to get it just right, so I've fully documented that fully here:
Side note about my main editor: for big projects I use Eclipse as my primary editor, and Sublime Text 3 as my git editor and additional file editor when I need to make use of its advanced features such as multi-cursor mode, vertical/column selection mode, etc. For small to medium projects I use just Sublime Text 3 by itself. For setup instructions for Eclipse, see my PDF document here.
