Note, while the above answers are correct, if you want, you can do something like:
alert("The variable named x1 has value: " + x1);
Check if any of your .php
files which printing some text, also is correctly encoding in utf-8
.
There is a 3rd party debugger in the works, it's currently in preview, but you can install the debugger Android extension in VSCode right now and get more information on it here:
In my case i had deleted the resources directory from my .metadata.plugins:
On Ubuntu, you can set proxy by using
export http_proxy=http://username:password@proxy:port
export https_proxy=http://username:password@proxy:port
or if you are having SOCKS error use
export all_proxy=http://username:password@proxy:port
Then run pip
sudo -E pip3 install {packageName}
The best solution I've found for this is to contain them in a parent div, and give that div a font-size of 0.
I understand that this is a Java question, but since I have a nice solution which could inspire someone to convert this into Java, by all means. Also I like answers where multiple language submissions are available to common problems.
So here is a Python solution which is O(n) and also supports the whole ASCII range. Of course it does not treat 'a' and 'A' as the same:
I am using 8 x 32 bits as the hashmap:
Also input is a string array using dedup(list('some string'))
def dedup(str):
map = [0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0]
for i in range(len(str)):
ascii = ord(str[i])
slot = ascii / 32
bit = ascii % 32
bitOn = map[slot] & (1 << bit)
if bitOn:
str[i] = ''
else:
map[slot] |= 1 << bit
return ''.join(str)
also a more pythonian way to do this is by using a set:
def dedup(s):
return ''.join(list(set(s)))
You can try usage:
# echo "/usr/lib/oracle/12.2/client64/lib" > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/oracle.conf
# ldconfig
This problem are because oracleinstant client not configure shared library.
Concatenate with & operator
Dim str as String 'no need to create a string instance
str = "Hello " & "World"
You can concate with the + operator as well but you can get yourself into trouble when trying to concatenate numbers.
Concatenate with String.Concat()
str = String.Concat("Hello ", "World")
Useful when concatenating array of strings
StringBuilder.Append()
When concatenating large amounts of strings use StringBuilder, it will result in much better performance.
Dim sb as new System.Text.StringBuilder()
str = sb.Append("Hello").Append(" ").Append("World").ToString()
Strings in .NET are immutable, resulting in a new String object being instantiated for every concatenation as well a garbage collection thereof.

Now, i'm being told that this will terminate the session (or is it all sessions?) in the 15th minute of use, regardless their activity.
No, that's not true. The session-timeout
configures a per session timeout in case of inactivity.
Are these methods equivalent? Should I favour the web.xml config?
The setting in the web.xml is global, it applies to all sessions of a given context. Programatically, you can change this for a particular session.
Not sure if it is already added in the answers, Anatolii Stepaniuk answer was very helpful which is the following.
psql -U Username postgres # when you have no databases yet
Recommending SequenceEqual is ok, but thinking that it may ever be faster than usual for(;;) loop is too naive.
Here is the reflected code:
public static bool SequenceEqual<TSource>(this IEnumerable<TSource> first,
IEnumerable<TSource> second, IEqualityComparer<TSource> comparer)
{
if (comparer == null)
{
comparer = EqualityComparer<TSource>.Default;
}
if (first == null)
{
throw Error.ArgumentNull("first");
}
if (second == null)
{
throw Error.ArgumentNull("second");
}
using (IEnumerator<TSource> enumerator = first.GetEnumerator())
using (IEnumerator<TSource> enumerator2 = second.GetEnumerator())
{
while (enumerator.MoveNext())
{
if (!enumerator2.MoveNext() || !comparer.Equals(enumerator.Current, enumerator2.Current))
{
return false;
}
}
if (enumerator2.MoveNext())
{
return false;
}
}
return true;
}
As you can see it uses 2 enumerators and fires numerous method calls which seriously slow everything down. Also it doesn't check length at all, so in bad cases it can be ridiculously slower.
Compare moving two iterators with beautiful
if (a1[i] != a2[i])
and you will know what I mean about performance.
It can be used in cases where performance is really not so critical, maybe in unit test code, or in cases of some short list in rarely called methods.
Use the convert function.
SELECT CONVERT(varchar(10), field_name) FROM table_name
Check this
UPDATE some_table SET some_field = REPLACE("Column Name/String", 'Search String', 'Replace String')
Eg with sample string:
UPDATE some_table SET some_field = REPLACE("this is test string", 'test', 'sample')
EG with Column/Field Name:
UPDATE some_table SET some_field = REPLACE(columnName, 'test', 'sample')
Already u got the answers but to match regex with case insensitivity
You could use the following query
db.users.find ({ "name" : /m/i } ).pretty()
The i
in the /m/i
indicates case insensitivity and .pretty()
provides a more pretty output
HTML Elements
An HTML element usually consists of a start tag and end tag, with the content inserted in between:
<tagname>Content goes here...</tagname>
The HTML element is everything from the start tag to the end tag. Source
HTML Attributes
An attribute is used to define the characteristics of an HTML element and is placed inside the element's opening tag. All attributes are made up of two parts: a name and a value.
HTML Tag vs Element
"Elements" and "tags" are terms that are widely confused. HTML documents contain tags, but do not contain the elements. The elements are only generated after the parsing step, from these tags. Source: wikipedia > HTML_element
An HTML element is defined by a starting tag. If the element contains other content, it ends with a closing tag.
For example <p>
is starting tag of a paragraph and </p>
is closing tag of the same paragraph but <p>This is paragraph</p>
is a paragraph element.

Or do it this way to use ALL jQuery. The each can loop through any data be it DOM elements or an array/object.
var data = ['one', 'two', 'three', 'four', 'five', 'six', 'seven', 'eight'];
var numCols = 1;
$.each(data, function(i) {
if(!(i%numCols)) tRow = $('<tr>');
tCell = $('<td>').html(data[i]);
$('table').append(tRow.append(tCell));
});
?
I know its an old question but for me I got it working when I figured out that its conflicting with Gson library so if you are using Gson then use @SerializedName("name")
instead of @JsonProperty("name")
hope this helps
You can use this:
org.apache.commons.lang.StringUtils.leftPad("Apple", 8, "0")
Right click project solution
Properties -> Configuration Properties -> C/C++ -> Precompiled Headers
Click on "Precompiled Headers" change to "Not Using Precompiled Headers".
Erase the "pch.h"/"stdafx.h" field in "Precompiled Header File" for the EOF error at the end of the build for the project.
Then you can feel free to delete the pch./stdafx. files in your project
Your javascript is executed before the HTML is generated, so it doesn't "see" the ungenerated INPUT elements. For jQuery, you would either stick the Javascript at the end of the HTML or wrap it like this:
<script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { //jQuery trick to say after all the HTML is parsed. $("input[type=radio]").click(function() { var total = 0; $("input[type=radio]:checked").each(function() { total += parseFloat($(this).val()); }); $("#totalSum").val(total); }); }); </script>

Dick.Guertin's answer [1] suggested that one could escape the spaces in a filename is a valuable alternative to other solutions suggested here (such as using a null character as a separator rather than whitespace). But it could be simpler - you don't really need a unique character. You can just have sed add the escaped spaces directly:
ls | grep ' ' | sed 's| |\\ |g' | xargs ...
Furthermore, the grep is only necessary if you only want files with spaces in the names. More generically (e.g., when processing a batch of files some of which have spaces, some not), just skip the grep:
ls | sed 's| |\\ |g' | xargs ...
Then, of course, the filename may have other whitespace than blanks (e.g., a tab):
ls | sed -r 's|[[:blank:]]|\\\1|g' | xargs ...
That assumes you have a sed that supports -r (extended regex) such as GNU sed or recent versions of bsd sed (e.g., FreeBSD which originally spelled the option "-E" before FreeBSD 8 and supports both -r & -E for compatibility through FreeBSD 11 at least). Otherwise you can use a basic regex character class bracket expression and manually enter the space and tab characters in the []
delimiters.
[1] This is perhaps more appropriate as a comment or an edit to that answer, but at the moment I do not have enough reputation to comment and can only suggest edits. Since the latter forms above (without the grep) alters the behavior of Dick.Guertin's original answer, a direct edit is perhaps not appropriate anyway.

Here is the good function for pre PHP 5: I added GMT difference at the end, it's not hardcoded.
function iso8601($time=false) {
if ($time === false) $time = time();
$date = date('Y-m-d\TH:i:sO', $time);
return (substr($date, 0, strlen($date)-2).':'.substr($date, -2));
}
The main difference will be that if you use Action<>
your event will not follow the design pattern of virtually any other event in the system, which I would consider a drawback.
One upside with the dominating design pattern (apart from the power of sameness) is that you can extend the EventArgs
object with new properties without altering the signature of the event. This would still be possible if you used Action<SomeClassWithProperties>
, but I don't really see the point with not using the regular approach in that case.
I use the Branches options, and then right click on the "remote/origin" folder and then click on "delete branches from remote", see the image below:
As a workaround a generic "ObjectHolder" can be used. See code example below.
The sample output is:
name: John Doe
dob:1953-12-17
name: Jim Miller
dob:1947-04-18
so the Person parameter has been modified since it's wrapped in the Holder which is passed by value - the generic param inside is a reference where the contents can be modified - so actually a different person is returned and the original stays as is.

To allow you to define variables that you don't want to serialize.
In an object you may have information that you don't want to serialize/persist (perhaps a reference to a parent factory object), or perhaps it doesn't make sense to serialize. Marking these as 'transient' means the serialization mechanism will ignore these fields.
Chris already explained what daemon threads are, so let's talk about practical usage. Many thread pool implementations use daemon threads for task workers. Workers are threads which execute tasks from task queue.
Worker needs to keep waiting for tasks in task queue indefinitely as they don't know when new task will appear. Thread which assigns tasks (say main thread) only knows when tasks are over. Main thread waits on task queue to get empty and then exits. If workers are user threads i.e. non-daemon, program won't terminate. It will keep waiting for these indefinitely running workers, even though workers aren't doing anything useful. Mark workers daemon threads, and main thread will take care of killing them as soon as it's done handling tasks.

I was just having this problem on Windows 10 and the issue in my case was that I was just running psql
and it was defaulting to trying to log in with my Windows username ("Nathan"), but there was no PostgreSQL user with that name, and it wasn't telling me that.
So the solution was to run psql -U postgres
rather than just psql
, and then the password I entered at installation worked.
In general, no. However, a struct declared as file-scope or static in a function /will/ be initialized to 0 (just like all other variables of those scopes):
int x; // 0
int y = 42; // 42
struct { int a, b; } foo; // 0, 0
void foo() {
struct { int a, b; } bar; // undefined
static struct { int c, d; } quux; // 0, 0
}

I gave permission to IUSR_MachineName user on oracle home folder and I was able to resolve the problem
The solution proposed here worked for me:
Intent i = new Intent(OldActivity.this, NewActivity.class);
// set the new task and clear flags
i.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK | Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TASK);
startActivity(i);
val i = Intent(this, NewActivity::class.java)
// set the new task and clear flags
i.flags = Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK or Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TASK
startActivity(i)
However, it requires API level >= 11.
Use:

Based on this code (which you provided in response to Alex's answer):
Editable newTxt=(Editable)userName1.getText();
String newString = newTxt.toString();
It looks like you're trying to get the text out of a TextView or EditText. If that's the case then this should work:
String newString = userName1.getText().toString();
I had the same problem, and I was using the following plugin for tests:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.9</version>
<configuration>
<useFile>true</useFile>
<includes>
<include>**/*Tests.java</include>
<include>**/*Test.java</include>
</includes>
<excludes>
<exclude>**/Abstract*.java</exclude>
</excludes>
<junitArtifactName>junit:junit</junitArtifactName>
<parallel>methods</parallel>
<threadCount>10</threadCount>
</configuration>
</plugin>
The test were running fine in the IDE (eclipse sts), but failed when using command mvn test.
After a lot of trial and error, I figured the solution was to remove parallel testing, the following two lines from the plugin configuration above:
<parallel>methods</parallel>
<threadCount>10</threadCount>
Hope that this helps someone out!
Came across a need to do SQL-style mixed asc and desc object array sorts by keys.
kennebec's solution above helped me get to this:
Array.prototype.keySort = function(keys) {
keys = keys || {};
// via
// https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5223/length-of-javascript-object-ie-associative-array
var obLen = function(obj) {
var size = 0, key;
for (key in obj) {
if (obj.hasOwnProperty(key))
size++;
}
return size;
};
// avoiding using Object.keys because I guess did it have IE8 issues?
// else var obIx = function(obj, ix){ return Object.keys(obj)[ix]; } or
// whatever
var obIx = function(obj, ix) {
var size = 0, key;
for (key in obj) {
if (obj.hasOwnProperty(key)) {
if (size == ix)
return key;
size++;
}
}
return false;
};
var keySort = function(a, b, d) {
d = d !== null ? d : 1;
// a = a.toLowerCase(); // this breaks numbers
// b = b.toLowerCase();
if (a == b)
return 0;
return a > b ? 1 * d : -1 * d;
};
var KL = obLen(keys);
if (!KL)
return this.sort(keySort);
for ( var k in keys) {
// asc unless desc or skip
keys[k] =
keys[k] == 'desc' || keys[k] == -1 ? -1
: (keys[k] == 'skip' || keys[k] === 0 ? 0
: 1);
}
this.sort(function(a, b) {
var sorted = 0, ix = 0;
while (sorted === 0 && ix < KL) {
var k = obIx(keys, ix);
if (k) {
var dir = keys[k];
sorted = keySort(a[k], b[k], dir);
ix++;
}
}
return sorted;
});
return this;
};

We can use itertools.groupby
in order to find all the items that have dups:
from itertools import groupby
myList = [2, 4, 6, 8, 4, 6, 12]
# when the list is sorted, groupby groups by consecutive elements which are similar
for x, y in groupby(sorted(myList)):
# list(y) returns all the occurences of item x
if len(list(y)) > 1:
print x
The output will be:
4
6

You can convert the QString type to python string by just using the str
function. Assuming you are not using any Unicode characters you can get a python
string as below:
text = str(combobox1.currentText())
If you are using any unicode characters, you can do:
text = unicode(combobox1.currentText())
A modification to shengy's first suggestion, you can use templates to make the function accept a multi-dimensional array variable (instead of storing an array of pointers that have to be managed and deleted):
template <size_t size_x, size_t size_y>
void func(double (&arr)[size_x][size_y])
{
printf("%p\n", &arr);
}
int main()
{
double a1[10][10];
double a2[5][5];
printf("%p\n%p\n\n", &a1, &a2);
func(a1);
func(a2);
return 0;
}
The print statements are there to show that the arrays are getting passed by reference (by displaying the variables' addresses)
You may use Window#dispose() method to release all of the native screen resources, subcomponents, and all of its owned children.

The problem is that your controller expect a parameter hasId=false or hasId=true, but you are not passing that. Your hidden field has the id hasId but is passed as hasCustomerName, so no mapping matches.
Either change the path of the hidden field to hasId or the mapping parameter to expect hasCustomerName=true or hasCustomerName=false.

From the documentation:
Return a string containing a nicely printable representation of an object. For strings, this returns the string itself. The difference with repr(object) is that str(object) does not always attempt to return a string that is acceptable to eval(); its goal is to return a printable string. If no argument is given, returns the empty string, ''.

Here is working code as per the author's Tips & Tricks blog post, put it in document ready:
$("#mybutton").click(function(){
$(".fancybox").trigger('click');
})
This triggers the smaller version of the currently displayed image or content, as if you had clicked on it manually. It avoids initializing the Fancybox again, but instead keeps the parameters you initialized it with on document ready. If you need to do something different when opening the box with a separate button compared to clicking on the box, you will need the parameters, but for many, this will be what they were looking for.
Just check my scripts it's working well:
function handleFileSelect(evt) {
var files = evt.target.files; // FileList object
// Loop through the FileList and render image files as thumbnails.
for (var i = 0, f; f = files[i]; i++) {
// Only process image files.
if (!f.type.match('image.*')) {
continue;
}
var reader = new FileReader();
// Closure to capture the file information.
reader.onload = (function(theFile) {
return function(e) {
// Render thumbnail.
var span = document.createElement('span');
span.innerHTML = ['<img class="thumb" src="', e.target.result,
'" title="', escape(theFile.name), '"/>'].join('');
document.getElementById('list').insertBefore(span, null);
};
})(f);
// Read in the image file as a data URL.
reader.readAsDataURL(f);
}
}
document.getElementById('files').addEventListener('change', handleFileSelect, false);
#list img{
width: auto;
height: 100px;
margin: 10px ;
}
Warning! $array1 + $array2 overwrites keys, so my solution (for multidimensional arrays) is to use array_unique()
array_unique(array_merge($a, $b), SORT_REGULAR);
Notice:
5.2.10+ Changed the default value of
sort_flags
back to SORT_STRING.5.2.9 Default is SORT_REGULAR.
5.2.8- Default is SORT_STRING
It perfectly works. Hope it helps same.
USE THIS FUNCTION BELOW AND MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY
The easiest approach is using regular expressions to detect and replace newlines in the string. In this case, we use replace function along with string to replace with, which in our case is an empty string.
function remove_linebreaks( var message ) {
return message.replace( /[\r\n]+/gm, "" );
}
In the above expression, g and m are for global and multiline flags
To give a partial answer my own question, here is a working sample for HTML5 browsers:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html ng-app="myApp">
<head>
<script src="http://code.angularjs.org/1.0.0rc10/angular-1.0.0rc10.js"></script>
<script>
angular.module('myApp', [], function($locationProvider) {
$locationProvider.html5Mode(true);
});
function QueryCntl($scope, $location) {
$scope.target = $location.search()['target'];
}
</script>
</head>
<body ng-controller="QueryCntl">
Target: {{target}}<br/>
</body>
</html>
The key was to call $locationProvider.html5Mode(true);
as done above. It now works when opening http://127.0.0.1:8080/test.html?target=bob
. I'm not happy about the fact that it won't work in older browsers, but I might use this approach anyway.
An alternative that would work with older browsers would be to drop the html5mode(true)
call and use the following address with hash+slash instead:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/test.html#/?target=bob
The relevant documentation is at Developer Guide: Angular Services: Using $location (strange that my google search didn't find this...).
In order to trap repeated clicks on the same cell, you need to move the focus to a different cell, so that each time you click, you are in fact moving the selection.
The code below will select the top left cell visible on the screen, when you click on any cell. Obviously, it has the flaw that it won't trap a click on the top left cell, but that can be managed (eg by selecting the top right cell if the activecell is the top left).
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
'put your code here to process the selection, then..
ActiveWindow.VisibleRange.Cells(1, 1).Select
End Sub
Think of it as a stack with the disks diameter being represented by integers (4,3,2,1) The first recursion call will be called 3 times and thus filling the run-time stack as follows
After the first recursion ends, the contents of the run-time stack is popped to the middle pole from largest diameter to smallest (first in last out). Next, disk with diameter 4 is moved to the destination.
The second recursion call is the same as the first with the exception of moving the elements from the middle pole to destination.
There are 5 cases for using the underscore in Python.
For storing the value of last expression in interpreter.
For ignoring the specific values. (so-called “I don’t care”)
To give special meanings and functions to name of variables or functions.
To use as ‘internationalization (i18n)’ or ‘localization (l10n)’ functions.
To separate the digits of number literal value.
Here is a nice article with examples by mingrammer.
I had also faced the same issue and it got resolved by commenting the version element in POM.xml as show.

What I found out is that it's OK to put char* into a std::vector:
// 1 - A std::vector of char*, more preper way is to use a std::vector<std::vector<char>> or std::vector<std::string>
std::vector<char*> v(10, "hi!"); // You cannot put standard library containers e.g. char[] into std::vector!
for (auto& i : v)
{
//std::cout << i << std::endl;
i = "New";
}
for (auto i : v)
{
std::cout << i << std::endl;

Could it be a problem with past preview versions of Android Studio ? nowadays "beta" has replaced the "preview". I try it out step by step debugging while using Memory Monitor at same time by Android Studio (Beta) 0.8.11 on OSX 10.9.5 without any problems.
The tutorial Debugging with Android Studio also helps, specially this paragraph :
Here a couple of screenshot while debugging step by step on a breakpoint a monitoring the memory on the emulator:
I haven't used DataReaders for 3+ years, so I wanted to confirm my memory and found this. Anyway, for anyone who happens upon this post like I did and wants a method to test IsDBNull using the column name instead of ordinal number, and you are using VS 2008+ (& .NET 3.5 I think), you can write an extension method so that you can pass the column name in:
public static class DataReaderExtensions
{
public static bool IsDBNull( this IDataReader dataReader, string columnName )
{
return dataReader[columnName] == DBNull.Value;
}
}

One of the ways that you can run your spring-boot application from command line is as follows :
1) First go to your project directory in command line [where is your project located ?]
2) Then in the next step you have to create jar file for that, this can be done as
mvnw package
[for WINDOWS OS ] or ./mvnw package
[for MAC OS] , this will
create jar file for our application.
3) jar file is created in the target sub-directory
4)Now go to target sub directory as jar was created inside of it , i.e cd target
5) Now run the jar file in there.
Use command java -jar name.jar
[ name is the name of your created jar file.]
and there you go , you are done . Now you can run project in browser,
http://localhost:port_number
Doesn't answer your first question - but for the specific problem you had, you can just use strings instead of chars, right?:
myString.Replace("c", "")
There a reason you wouldn't want to do that?
Only tested in Chrome 44.
Example: http://codepen.io/hugovk/pen/OVqBoq
HTML:
<div>
<img src="http://lorempixel.com/1600/900/">
</div>
CSS:
<style type="text/css">
img {
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: 50%;
transform: translateX(-50%) translateY(-50%);
max-width: 100%;
max-height: 100%;
}
</style>
Services are singletons, and it is not logical for a scope to be injected in service (which is case indeed, you cannot inject scope in service). You can pass scope as a parameter, but that is also a bad design choice, because you would have scope being edited in multiple places, making it hard for debugging. Code for dealing with scope variables should go in controller, and service calls go to the service.
Have both buttons submit to the current page and then add this code at the top:
<?php
if(isset($_GET['firstButtonName'])
header("Location: first-target.php?var1={$_GET['var1']}&var2={$_GET['var2']}");
if(isset($_GET['secondButtonName'])
header("Location: second-target.php?var1={$_GET['var1']}&var2={$_GET['var2']}");
?>
It could also be done using $_SESSION if you don't want them to see the variables.
Try Wrap
widget to wrap text as text grows:
Example:
Wrap(
direction: Axis.vertical, //Vertical || Horizontal
children: <Widget>[
Text(
'Your Text',
style: TextStyle(fontSize: 30),
),
Text(
'Your Text',
style: TextStyle(fontSize: 30),
),
],
),
I was wondering if it is possible to execute something like this using JDBC.
"SELECT FROM * TABLE;INSERT INTO TABLE;"
Yes it is possible. There are two ways, as far as I know. They are
Following examples demonstrate the above two possibilities.
Example 1: ( To allow multiple queries ):
While sending a connection request, you need to append a connection property allowMultiQueries=true
to the database url. This is additional connection property to those if already exists some, like autoReConnect=true
, etc.. Acceptable values for allowMultiQueries
property are true
, false
, yes
, and no
. Any other value is rejected at runtime with an SQLException
.
String dbUrl = "jdbc:mysql:///test?allowMultiQueries=true";
Unless such instruction is passed, an SQLException
is thrown.
You have to use execute( String sql )
or its other variants to fetch results of the query execution.
boolean hasMoreResultSets = stmt.execute( multiQuerySqlString );
To iterate through and process results you require following steps:
READING_QUERY_RESULTS: // label
while ( hasMoreResultSets || stmt.getUpdateCount() != -1 ) {
if ( hasMoreResultSets ) {
Resultset rs = stmt.getResultSet();
// handle your rs here
} // if has rs
else { // if ddl/dml/...
int queryResult = stmt.getUpdateCount();
if ( queryResult == -1 ) { // no more queries processed
break READING_QUERY_RESULTS;
} // no more queries processed
// handle success, failure, generated keys, etc here
} // if ddl/dml/...
// check to continue in the loop
hasMoreResultSets = stmt.getMoreResults();
} // while results
Example 2: Steps to follow:
select
, and DML
queries.CallableStatement
.ResultSet
s executed in procedure.select
Sample table and procedure:
mysql> create table tbl_mq( i int not null auto_increment, name varchar(10), primary key (i) );
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.16 sec)
mysql> delimiter //
mysql> create procedure multi_query()
-> begin
-> select count(*) as name_count from tbl_mq;
-> insert into tbl_mq( names ) values ( 'ravi' );
-> select last_insert_id();
-> select * from tbl_mq;
-> end;
-> //
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.02 sec)
mysql> delimiter ;
mysql> call multi_query();
+------------+
| name_count |
+------------+
| 0 |
+------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
+------------------+
| last_insert_id() |
+------------------+
| 3 |
+------------------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
+---+------+
| i | name |
+---+------+
| 1 | ravi |
+---+------+
1 row in set (0.00 sec)
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
Call Procedure from Java:
CallableStatement cstmt = con.prepareCall( "call multi_query()" );
boolean hasMoreResultSets = cstmt.execute();
READING_QUERY_RESULTS:
while ( hasMoreResultSets ) {
Resultset rs = stmt.getResultSet();
// handle your rs here
} // while has more rs

Deploy your CLR function
Now Test it
See following code:
create table dbo.test(dummydata varchar(255))
Go
INSERT INTO dbo.test values('P@ssw1rd'),('This 12is @test')
Go
Update dbo.test
set dummydata=dbo.Replace2(dummydata,'[0-9@]','')
select * from dbo.test
dummydata, Psswrd, This is test booom!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In your DbContext, create a default constructor for your DbContext and inherit the base like this:
public myDbContext()
: base("MyConnectionString") // connectionstring name define in your web.config
{
}
It's not sure what you mean with 'the program', but if you want to limit your application to one instance then you can use a Mutex to make sure that your application isn't already running.
[STAThread]
static void Main()
{
Mutex mutex = new System.Threading.Mutex(false, "MyUniqueMutexName");
try
{
if (mutex.WaitOne(0, false))
{
// Run the application
Application.EnableVisualStyles();
Application.SetCompatibleTextRenderingDefault(false);
Application.Run(new MainForm());
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("An instance of the application is already running.");
}
}
finally
{
if (mutex != null)
{
mutex.Close();
mutex = null;
}
}
}
From the StringBuilder Class documentation:
The String object is immutable. Every time you use one of the methods in the System.String class, you create a new string object in memory, which requires a new allocation of space for that new object. In situations where you need to perform repeated modifications to a string, the overhead associated with creating a new String object can be costly. The System.Text.StringBuilder class can be used when you want to modify a string without creating a new object. For example, using the StringBuilder class can boost performance when concatenating many strings together in a loop.
You can remove it with the bInfo
option (http://datatables.net/usage/features#bInfo)
$('#example').dataTable({
"bInfo" : false
});
Update:
Since Datatables 1.10.* this option can be used as info
, bInfo
still works in current nightly build (1.10.10).
Another option is setting the log levels for specific tags:
adb logcat SensorService:S PowerManagerService:S NfcService:S power:I Sensors:E
If you just want to set the log levels for some tags you can do it on a tag by tag basis.
$("input").keypress(function(event) {
if (event.which == 13) {
event.preventDefault();
$("form").submit();
}
});
Don't use quotes with <<EOF
:
var=$1
sudo tee "/path/to/outfile" > /dev/null <<EOF
Some text that contains my $var
EOF
Variable expansion is the default behavior inside of here-docs. You disable that behavior by quoting the label (with single or double quotes).
Make sure the script is placed in the bottom of the BODY element of the document you're trying to manipulate, not in the HEAD element or placed before any of the elements you want to "get".
It does not matter if you import the script or if it's inline, the important thing is the placing. You don't have to put the command inside a function either; while it's good practice you can just call it directly, it works just fine.
Here's a nice method to fill in missing dates into a dataframe, with your choice of fill_value
, days_back
to fill in, and sort order (date_order
) by which to sort the dataframe:
def fill_in_missing_dates(df, date_col_name = 'date',date_order = 'asc', fill_value = 0, days_back = 30):
df.set_index(date_col_name,drop=True,inplace=True)
df.index = pd.DatetimeIndex(df.index)
d = datetime.now().date()
d2 = d - timedelta(days = days_back)
idx = pd.date_range(d2, d, freq = "D")
df = df.reindex(idx,fill_value=fill_value)
df[date_col_name] = pd.DatetimeIndex(df.index)
return df
I think you are using the 64-bit version of the tool to install a 32-bit application. I've also faced this issue today and used this Framework path to cater .
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
and it should install your 32-bit application just fine.
It looks like the phoneGap plugin will allow you to get the device's uid.
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/3.0.0/cordova_device_device.md.html#device.uuid
Update: This is dependent on running native code. We used this solution writing javascript that was being compiled to native code for a native phone application we were creating.
printf() doesn't directly support that. Instead you have to make your own function.
Something like:
while (n) {
if (n & 1)
printf("1");
else
printf("0");
n >>= 1;
}
printf("\n");
For those of whom are still looking for a more recent answer, here you go:
In the documentation, there's a section on accessing added data files.
Here is the short and sweet of it.
You'll want to import pkgutil
and locate which folder you added the datafile to; i.e. the second string in the tuple which was added to the spec file:
datas = [("path/to/mypackage/data_file.txt", "path/to/mypackage")]
Knowing where you added the data file can then be used for reading it in as binary data, and decoding it as you wish. Take this example:
mypackage
__init__.py # This is a MUST in order for the package to be registered
data_file.txt # The data file you've added
Hello world!
import pkgutil
file = pkgutil.get_data("mypackage", "data_file.txt")
contents = file.decode("utf-8")
print(contents) # Hello world!
pkgutil
- Builtin library__init__.py
and packagesYou can't. From the official tutorial:
By using the Class-Path header in the manifest, you can avoid having to specify a long -classpath flag when invoking Java to run the your application.
Note: The Class-Path header points to classes or JAR files on the local network, not JAR files within the JAR file or classes accessible over internet protocols. To load classes in JAR files within a JAR file into the class path, you must write custom code to load those classes. For example, if MyJar.jar contains another JAR file called MyUtils.jar, you cannot use the Class-Path header in MyJar.jar's manifest to load classes in MyUtils.jar into the class path.
To remove first Character of string in PHP,
$string = "abcdef";
$new_string = substr($string, 1);
echo $new_string;
Generates: "bcdef"
You can use
moment("15", "hh").format('LT')
to convert the time to 12 hours format like this 3:00 PM
You can use socket.settimeout()
which accepts a integer argument representing number of seconds. For example, socket.settimeout(1)
will set the timeout to 1 second
This error occurred to me while trying to connect to the Google Cloud SQL using MySQL Workbench 6.3.
After a little research I found that my IP address has been changed by the internet provider and he was not allowed in the Cloud SQL.
I authorized it and went back to work.
You can use top_n
df %>% group_by(A, B) %>% top_n(n=1)
This will rank by the last column (value
) and return the top n=1
rows.
Currently, you can't change the this default without causing an error (See https://github.com/hadley/dplyr/issues/426)
Your code sample didn't expand on part of your topic, namely symbols, and so that part of the question went unanswered.
If you have two strings, foo and bar, and both can be either a string or a symbol, you can test equality with
foo.to_s == bar.to_s
It's a little more efficient to skip the string conversions on operands with known type. So if foo is always a string
foo == bar.to_s
But the efficiency gain is almost certainly not worth demanding any extra work on behalf of the caller.
Prior to Ruby 2.2, avoid interning uncontrolled input strings for the purpose of comparison (with strings or symbols), because symbols are not garbage collected, and so you can open yourself to denial of service through resource exhaustion. Limit your use of symbols to values you control, i.e. literals in your code, and trusted configuration properties.
Ruby 2.2 introduced garbage collection of symbols.
In v2.0 of the Graph API, calling /me/friends
returns the person's friends who also use the app.
In addition, in v2.0, you must request the user_friends
permission from each user. user_friends
is no longer included by default in every login. Each user must grant the user_friends
permission in order to appear in the response to /me/friends
. See the Facebook upgrade guide for more detailed information, or review the summary below.
The /me/friendlists
endpoint and user_friendlists
permission are not what you're after. This endpoint does not return the users friends - its lets you access the lists a person has made to organize their friends. It does not return the friends in each of these lists. This API and permission is useful to allow you to render a custom privacy selector when giving people the opportunity to publish back to Facebook.
If you want to access a list of non-app-using friends, there are two options:
If you want to let your people tag their friends in stories that they publish to Facebook using your App, you can use the /me/taggable_friends
API. Use of this endpoint requires review by Facebook and should only be used for the case where you're rendering a list of friends in order to let the user tag them in a post.
If your App is a Game AND your Game supports Facebook Canvas, you can use the /me/invitable_friends
endpoint in order to render a custom invite dialog, then pass the tokens returned by this API to the standard Requests Dialog.
In other cases, apps are no longer able to retrieve the full list of a user's friends (only those friends who have specifically authorized your app using the user_friends
permission).
For apps wanting allow people to invite friends to use an app, you can still use the Send Dialog on Web or the new Message Dialog on iOS and Android.
If you know the file is in your current directory, I would use:
ls -lt | head
This lists your most recently modified files and directories in order. In fact, I use it so much I have it aliased to 'lh'.
The fastest and simplest way is by setting the .length
property to the desired length:
arr.length = 4;
This is also the desired way to reset/empty arrays:
arr.length = 0;
Caveat: setting this property can also make the array longer than it is: If its length is 2, running arr.length = 4
will add two undefined
items to it. Perhaps add a condition:
if (arr.length > 4) arr.length = 4;
Alternatively:
arr.length = Math.min(arr.length, 4);

The documentation says:
However, JUnit Jupiter’s
org.junit.jupiter.Assertions
class does not provide anassertThat()
method like the one found in JUnit 4’sorg.junit.Assert
class which accepts a HamcrestMatcher
. Instead, developers are encouraged to use the built-in support for matchers provided by third-party assertion libraries.
Example for Hamcrest:
import static org.hamcrest.CoreMatchers.instanceOf;
import static org.hamcrest.MatcherAssert.assertThat;
import org.junit.jupiter.api.Test;
class HamcrestAssertionDemo {
@Test
void assertWithHamcrestMatcher() {
SubClass subClass = new SubClass();
assertThat(subClass, instanceOf(BaseClass.class));
}
}
Example for AssertJ:
import static org.assertj.core.api.Assertions.assertThat;
import org.junit.jupiter.api.Test;
class AssertJDemo {
@Test
void assertWithAssertJ() {
SubClass subClass = new SubClass();
assertThat(subClass).isInstanceOf(BaseClass.class);
}
}
Note that this assumes you want to test behaviors similar to instanceof
(which accepts subclasses). If you want exact equal type, I don’t see a better way than asserting the two class to be equal like you mentioned in the question.
You should follow the Google guide;
ToggleButton toggle = (ToggleButton) findViewById(R.id.togglebutton);
toggle.setOnCheckedChangeListener(new CompoundButton.OnCheckedChangeListener() {
public void onCheckedChanged(CompoundButton buttonView, boolean isChecked) {
if (isChecked) {
// The toggle is enabled
} else {
// The toggle is disabled
}
}
});

We found it practical and useful to put the version in the URL. It makes it easy to tell what you're using at a glance. We do alias /foo to /foo/(latest versions) for ease of use, shorter / cleaner URLs, etc, as the accepted answer suggests.
Keeping backwards compatibility forever is often cost-prohibitive and/or very difficult. We prefer to give advanced notice of deprecation, redirects like suggested here, docs, and other mechanisms.
You can use below example of case when with multiple conditions.

WHEN (marks >= 40 AND
marks <= 100) THEN 'good'
ELSE 'best'

Perhaps you have the compiler settings for your IDE set to Java 1.4 mode even if you are using a Java 5 JDK? Otherwise I agree with the other people who already mentioned autoboxing/unboxing.
well the only thing that will work is
python -m pip install pip==
you can and should run it under IDE terminal (mine was pycharm)
It looks like a 32/64 bit mismatch. The ldd output shows that mainly libraries from /lib64
are chosen. That would indicate that you have installed a 64 bit version of the Oracle client and have created a 64 bit executable. But libaio.so
is probably a 32 bit library and cannot be used for your application.
So you either need a 64 bit version of libaio or you create a 32 bit version of your application.

Don't use filter
as a variable name, it is a built-in function.
You're getting None
because list.sort()
it operates in-place, meaning that it doesn't return anything, but modifies the list itself. You only need to call a.sort()
without assigning it to a
again.
There is a built in function sorted()
, which returns a sorted version of the list - a = sorted(a)
will do what you want as well.
It could be something like that:
var a = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e', 'f', 'g', 'h', 'i', 'j'];
var arrays = [], size = 3;
while (a.length > 0)
arrays.push(a.splice(0, size));
console.log(arrays);

0xE0434352 is the exception code for all .NET exceptions so that won't tell you much. How did you got this exception code? The event log?
Your best bet is to use a debugger to get more information. If the Visual Studio debugger won't help you, then you might need to check out WinDbg with SOS. See here and here for an introduction. Let it break on the exception, and see if you can get more information on the why.
If you suspect it is an issue when loading assemblies you might want to check out the Fusion Log.
If you are looking for a self-invoking transition then you should use CSS 3 Animations. They aren't supported either, but this is exactly the kind of thing they were made for.

Alternatively, you can use jQuery (or plain JavaScript; see the third code block) to change the class on load:
$("#test p").addClass("load");?
#test p {
opacity: 0;
font-size: 21px;
margin-top: 25px;
text-align: center;
-webkit-transition: opacity 2s ease-in;
-moz-transition: opacity 2s ease-in;
-ms-transition: opacity 2s ease-in;
-o-transition: opacity 2s ease-in;
transition: opacity 2s ease-in;
}
#test p.load {
opacity: 1;
}
document.getElementById("test").children[0].className += " load";
All modern browsers and Internet Explorer 10 (and later): http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-transitions
Or, you can use the method that .Mail uses:
$("#test p").delay(1000).animate({ opacity: 1 }, 700);?
#test p {
opacity: 0;
font-size: 21px;
margin-top: 25px;
text-align: center;

Here you can find a good explanation on the difference between
Update both gem and dependencies:
bundle update gem-name
or
Update exclusively the gem:
bundle update --source gem-name
along with some nice examples of possible side-effects.
As @Tim's answer says, as of Bundler 1.14 the officially-supported way to this is with bundle update --conservative gem-name
.
I resolved this by making sure my project shared the same .Net Framework version as the projects/libraries it depended on.
It turned out the libraries (projects within the solution) used .Net 4.6.1 and my project was using 4.5.2
In Python 3.x the process might hang because the output is a byte array instead of a string. Make sure you decode it into a string.
Starting from Python 3.6 you can do it using the parameter encoding
in Popen Constructor. The complete example:
process = subprocess.Popen(
'my_command',
stdout=subprocess.PIPE,
stderr=subprocess.STDOUT,
shell=True,
encoding='utf-8',
errors='replace'
)
while True:
realtime_output = process.stdout.readline()
if realtime_output == '' and process.poll() is not None:
break
if realtime_output:
print(realtime_output.strip(), flush=True)
Note that this code redirects stderr
to stdout
and handles output errors.
- Another Update -
Since Twitter Bootstrap version 2.0 - which saw the removal of the .container-fluid
class - it has not been possible to implement a two column fixed-fluid layout using just the bootstrap classes - however I have updated my answer to include some small CSS changes that can be made in your own CSS code that will make this possible
It is possible to implement a fixed-fluid structure using the CSS found below and slightly modified HTML code taken from the Twitter Bootstrap Scaffolding : layouts documentation page:
<div class="container-fluid fill">
<div class="row-fluid">
<div class="fixed"> <!-- we want this div to be fixed width -->
...
</div>
<div class="hero-unit filler"> <!-- we have removed spanX class -->
...
</div>
</div>
</div>
/* CSS for fixed-fluid layout */
.fixed {
width: 150px; /* the fixed width required */
float: left;
}
.fixed + div {
margin-left: 150px; /* must match the fixed width in the .fixed class */
overflow: hidden;
}
/* CSS to ensure sidebar and content are same height (optional) */
html, body {
height: 100%;
}
.fill {
min-height: 100%;
position: relative;
}
.filler:after{
background-color:inherit;
bottom: 0;
content: "";
height: auto;
min-height: 100%;
left: 0;
margin:inherit;
right: 0;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
width: inherit;
z-index: -1;
}
I have kept the answer below - even though the edit to support 2.0 made it a fluid-fluid solution - as it explains the concepts behind making the sidebar and content the same height (a significant part of the askers question as identified in the comments)
Update As pointed out by @JasonCapriotti in the comments, the original answer to this question (created for v1.0) did not work in Bootstrap 2.0. For this reason, I have updated the answer to support Bootstrap 2.0
To ensure that the main content fills at least 100% of the screen height, we need to set the height of the html
and body
to 100% and create a new css class called .fill
which has a minimum-height of 100%:
html, body {
height: 100%;
}
.fill {
min-height: 100%;
}
We can then add the .fill
class to any element that we need to take up 100% of the sceen height. In this case we add it to the first div:
<div class="container-fluid fill">
...
</div>
To ensure that the Sidebar and the Content columns have the same height is very difficult and unnecessary. Instead we can use the ::after
pseudo selector to add a filler
element that will give the illusion that the two columns have the same height:
.filler::after {
background-color: inherit;
bottom: 0;
content: "";
right: 0;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
width: inherit;
z-index: -1;
}
To make sure that the .filler
element is positioned relatively to the .fill
element we need to add position: relative
to .fill
:
.fill {
min-height: 100%;
position: relative;
}
And finally add the .filler
style to the HTML:
HTML
<div class="container-fluid fill">
<div class="row-fluid">
<div class="span3">
...
</div>
<div class="span9 hero-unit filler">
...
</div>
</div>
</div>

.Be aware that when the user modify the field, the DocumentListener can, sometime, receive two events. For instance if the user selects the whole field content, then press a key, you'll receive a removeUpdate (all the content is remove) and an insertUpdate. In your case, I don't think it is a problem but, generally speaking, it is. Unfortunately, it seems there's no way to track the content of the textField without subclassing JTextField. Here is the code of a class that provide a "text" property :
package net.yapbam.gui.widget;
import javax.swing.JTextField;
import javax.swing.text.AttributeSet;
import javax.swing.text.BadLocationException;
import javax.swing.text.PlainDocument;
/** A JTextField with a property that maps its text.
* <br>I've found no way to track efficiently the modifications of the text of a JTextField ... so I developed this widget.
* <br>DocumentListeners are intended to do it, unfortunately, when a text is replace in a field, the listener receive two events:<ol>
* <li>One when the replaced text is removed.</li>
* <li>One when the replacing text is inserted</li>
* </ul>
* The first event is ... simply absolutely misleading, it corresponds to a value that the text never had.
* <br>Anoter problem with DocumentListener is that you can't modify the text into it (it throws IllegalStateException).
* <br><br>Another way was to use KeyListeners ... but some key events are throw a long time (probably the key auto-repeat interval)
* after the key was released. And others events (for example a click on an OK button) may occurs before the listener is informed of the change.
* <br><br>This widget guarantees that no "ghost" property change is thrown !

public class CoolJTextField extends JTextField {
private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;
public static final String TEXT_PROPERTY = "text";
public CoolJTextField() {
this(0);
}
public CoolJTextField(int nbColumns) {
super("", nbColumns);
this.setDocument(new MyDocument());
}
@SuppressWarnings("serial")
private class MyDocument extends PlainDocument {
private boolean ignoreEvents = false;
@Override
public void replace(int offset, int length, String text, AttributeSet attrs) throws BadLocationException {
String oldValue = CoolJTextField.this.getText();

super.replace(offset, length, text, attrs);
this.ignoreEvents = false;

}

super.remove(offs, len);
String newValue = CoolJTextField.this.getText();
if (!ignoreEvents && !oldValue.equals(newValue)) CoolJTextField.this.firePropertyChange(TEXT_PROPERTY, oldValue, newValue);

And if you need to extract several properties from each object, then
let newArr = _.map(arr, o => _.pick(o, ['name', 'surname', 'rate']));

OdeToCode has a good article covering the basic differences
As it says in the article:
Proper indexes are crucial for good performance in large databases. Sometimes you can make up for a poorly written query with a good index, but it can be hard to make up for poor indexing with even the best queries.
Quite true, too... If you're just starting out with it, I'd focus on clustered and composite indexes, since they'll probably be what you use the most.
if you have only one xml in your table, you can convert it in 2 steps:
CREATE TABLE Batches(
BatchID int,
RawXml xml
)
declare @xml xml=(select top 1 RawXml from @Batches)
SELECT --b.BatchID,
x.XmlCol.value('(ReportHeader/OrganizationReportReferenceIdentifier)[1]','VARCHAR(100)') AS OrganizationReportReferenceIdentifier,
x.XmlCol.value('(ReportHeader/OrganizationNumber)[1]','VARCHAR(100)') AS OrganizationNumber
FROM @xml.nodes('/CasinoDisbursementReportXmlFile/CasinoDisbursementReport') x(XmlCol)
You can increase that in php.ini
; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
upload_max_filesize = 2M
I hope below solution will work for you all as I was having the same problem with my websites...
For : $json = json_decode(file_get_contents('http://...'));
Replace with below query
$Details= unserialize(file_get_contents('http://......'));
Just put DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `tablename`;
before your CREATE TABLE
statement.
That statement drops the table if it exists but will not throw an error if it does not.
You can also do
SHOW STATUS WHERE `variable_name` = 'Max_used_connections';
DecimalFormat df=new DecimalFormat("0.00");
Use this code to get exact two decimal points. Even if the value is 0.0 it will give u 0.00 as output.
Instead if you use:
DecimalFormat df=new DecimalFormat("#.00");
It wont convert 0.2659 into 0.27. You will get an answer like .27.
Regarding Wolfwyrd's anwer: "On Error Resume Next" in fact turns error handling off! Not on. On Error Goto 0 turns error-handling back ON because at the least, we want the machine to catch it if we didn't write it in ourselves. Off = leaving it to you to handle it.
If you use On Error Resume Next, you need to be careful about how much code you include after it: remember, the phrase "If Err.Number <> 0 Then" only refers to the most previous error triggered.
If your block of code after "On Error Resume Next" has several places where you might reasonably expect it to fail, then you must place "If Err.number <> 0" after each and every one of those possible failure lines, to check execution.
Otherwise, after "on error resume next" means just what it says - your code can fail on as many lines as it likes and execution will continue merrily along. That's why it's a pain in the ass.
As others have suggested that you should look into MERGE statement but nobody provided a solution using it I'm adding my own answer with this particular TSQL construct. I bet you'll like it.
Your code has a typo in your if
statement in not exists(select...)
part. Inner select
statement has only one where
condition while UserName condition is excluded from the not exists
due to invalid brace completion. In any case you cave too many closing braces.
I assume this based on the fact that you're using two where
conditions in update
statement later on in your code.
Let's continue to my answer...
MERGE statement is a beautiful TSQL gem very well suited for "insert or update" situations. In your case it would look similar to the following code. Take into consideration that I'm declaring variables what are likely stored procedure parameters (I suspect).
declare @clockDate date = '08/10/2012';
declare @userName = 'test';
merge Clock as target
using (select @clockDate, @userName) as source (ClockDate, UserName)
on (target.ClockDate = source.ClockDate and target.UserName = source.UserName)
when matched then
update
set BreakOut = getdate()
when not matched then
insert (ClockDate, UserName, BreakOut)
values (getdate(), source.UserName, getdate());

Working example on JSFiddle
NaN = Not a Number.
Android uses hexadecimal ARGB values, which are formatted as #AARRGGBB. That first pair of letters, the AA, represent the alpha channel. You must convert your decimal opacity values to a hexadecimal value. Here are the steps:
Alpha Hex Value Process
That's how you find the alpha channel value. I've taken the liberty to put together a list of values for you. Enjoy!
Hex Opacity Values
You can catch it like any other exception:
try {
foo();
}
catch (const std::bad_alloc&) {
return -1;
}
Quite what you can usefully do from this point is up to you, but it's definitely feasible technically.
In general you cannot, and should not try, to respond to this error. bad_alloc
indicates that a resource cannot be allocated because not enough memory is available. In most scenarios your program cannot hope to cope with that, and terminating soon is the only meaningful behaviour.
Worse, modern operating systems often over-allocate: on such systems, malloc
and new
can return a valid pointer even if there is not enough free memory left – std::bad_alloc
will never be thrown, or is at least not a reliable sign of memory exhaustion. Instead, attempts to access the allocated memory will then result in a segmentation fault, which is not catchable (you can handle the segmentation fault signal, but you cannot resume the program afterwards).
The only thing you could do when catching std::bad_alloc
is to perhaps log the error, and try to ensure a safe program termination by freeing outstanding resources (but this is done automatically in the normal course of stack unwinding after the error gets thrown if the program uses RAII appropriately).
In certain cases, the program may attempt to free some memory and try again, or use secondary memory (= disk) instead of RAM but these opportunities only exist in very specific scenarios with strict conditions:
It’s exceedingly rare that applications have control over point 1 — userspace applications never do, it’s a system-wide setting that requires root permissions to change.1
OK, so let’s assume you’ve fixed point 1. What you can now do is for instance use a LRU cache for some of your data (probably some particularly large business objects that can be regenerated or reloaded on demand). Next, you need to put the actual logic that may fail into a function that supports retry — in other words, if it gets aborted, you can just relaunch it:
lru_cache<widget> widget_cache;
double perform_operation(int widget_id) {
std::optional<widget> maybe_widget = widget_cache.find_by_id(widget_id);
if (not maybe_widget) {
maybe_widget = widget_cache.store(widget_id, load_widget_from_disk(widget_id));
}
return maybe_widget->frobnicate();
}
…
for (int num_attempts = 0; num_attempts < MAX_NUM_ATTEMPTS; ++num_attempts) {
try {
return perform_operation(widget_id);
} catch (std::bad_alloc const&) {
if (widget_cache.empty()) throw; // memory error elsewhere.
widget_cache.remove_oldest();
}
}
// Handle too many failed attempts here.
But even here, using std::set_new_handler
instead of handling std::bad_alloc
provides the same benefit and would be much simpler.
1 If you’re creating an application that does control point 1, and you’re reading this answer, please shoot me an email, I’m genuinely curious about your circumstances.
new
in c++?The usual notion is that if new
operator cannot allocate dynamic memory of the requested size, then it should throw an exception of type std::bad_alloc
.
However, something more happens even before a bad_alloc
exception is thrown:
C++03 Section 3.7.4.1.3: says
An allocation function that fails to allocate storage can invoke the currently installed new_handler(18.4.2.2), if any. [Note: A program-supplied allocation function can obtain the address of the currently installed new_handler using the set_new_handler function (18.4.2.3).] If an allocation function declared with an empty exception-specification (15.4), throw(), fails to allocate storage, it shall return a null pointer. Any other allocation function that fails to allocate storage shall only indicate failure by throw-ing an exception of class std::bad_alloc (18.4.2.1) or a class derived from std::bad_alloc.
Consider the following code sample:
#include <iostream>
#include <cstdlib>
// function to call if operator new can't allocate enough memory or error arises
void outOfMemHandler()
{
std::cerr << "Unable to satisfy request for memory\n";
std::abort();
}
int main()
{
//set the new_handler
std::set_new_handler(outOfMemHandler);
//Request huge memory size, that will cause ::operator new to fail
int *pBigDataArray = new int[100000000L];
return 0;
}
In the above example, operator new
(most likely) will be unable to allocate space for 100,000,000 integers, and the function outOfMemHandler()
will be called, and the program will abort after issuing an error message.
As seen here the default behavior of new
operator when unable to fulfill a memory request, is to call the new-handler
function repeatedly until it can find enough memory or there is no more new handlers. In the above example, unless we call std::abort()
, outOfMemHandler()
would be called repeatedly. Therefore, the handler should either ensure that the next allocation succeeds, or register another handler, or register no handler, or not return (i.e. terminate the program). If there is no new handler and the allocation fails, the operator will throw an exception.
new_handler
and set_new_handler
?new_handler
is a typedef for a pointer to a function that takes and returns nothing, and set_new_handler
is a function that takes and returns a new_handler
.
Something like:
typedef void (*new_handler)();
new_handler set_new_handler(new_handler p) throw();
set_new_handler's parameter is a pointer to the function operator new
should call if it can't allocate the requested memory. Its return value is a pointer to the previously registered handler function, or null if there was no previous handler.
Given the behavior of new
a well designed user program should handle out of memory conditions by providing a proper new_handler
which does one of the following:
Make more memory available: This may allow the next memory allocation attempt inside operator new's loop to succeed. One way to implement this is to allocate a large block of memory at program start-up, then release it for use in the program the first time the new-handler is invoked.
Install a different new-handler: If the current new-handler can't make any more memory available, and of there is another new-handler that can, then the current new-handler can install the other new-handler in its place (by calling set_new_handler
). The next time operator new calls the new-handler function, it will get the one most recently installed.
(A variation on this theme is for a new-handler to modify its own behavior, so the next time it's invoked, it does something different. One way to achieve this is to have the new-handler modify static, namespace-specific, or global data that affects the new-handler's behavior.)
Uninstall the new-handler: This is done by passing a null pointer to set_new_handler
. With no new-handler installed, operator new
will throw an exception ((convertible to) std::bad_alloc
) when memory allocation is unsuccessful.
Throw an exception convertible to std::bad_alloc
. Such exceptions are not be caught by operator new
, but will propagate to the site originating the request for memory.
Not return: By calling abort
or exit
.
A word of warning about some of the existing answers - they will run very slow for very big files. For a 1.6 GB log file I gave up after a couple of hours, realising it would not finish before I returned to work the next day.
Two issues: the call to Add-Content opens, seeks and then closes the current destination file for every line in the source file. Reading a little of the source file each time and looking for the new lines will also slows things down, but my guess is that Add-Content is the main culprit.
The following variant produces slightly less pleasant output: it will split files in the middle of lines, but it splits my 1.6 GB log in less than a minute:
$from = "C:\temp\large_log.txt"
$rootName = "C:\temp\large_log_chunk"
$ext = "txt"
$upperBound = 100MB
$fromFile = [io.file]::OpenRead($from)
$buff = new-object byte[] $upperBound
$count = $idx = 0
try {
do {
"Reading $upperBound"
$count = $fromFile.Read($buff, 0, $buff.Length)
if ($count -gt 0) {
$to = "{0}.{1}.{2}" -f ($rootName, $idx, $ext)
$toFile = [io.file]::OpenWrite($to)
try {
"Writing $count to $to"
$tofile.Write($buff, 0, $count)
} finally {
$tofile.Close()
}
}
$idx ++
} while ($count -gt 0)
}
finally {
$fromFile.Close()
}
I also had this problem. I changed port and did other things, but they didn't help me. In my case, I connected Tomcat to IDE after installing Netbeans (before). I just uninstalled Netbeans and Tomcat after that I reinstall Netbeans along with Tomcat (NOT separately). And the problem was solved.
The above didn't actually work for me as I had expected with Visual Studio 2010. It wouldn't let me access Properties.Resources, said it was inaccessible due to permission issues. I ultimately had to change the Persistence settings in the properties of the resource and then I found how to access it via the Resources.Designer.cs file, where it had an automatic getter that let me access the icon, via MyNamespace.Properties.Resources.NameFromAddingTheResource. That returns an object of type Icon, ready to just use.
Install the extension "Code Runner". Check if you can compile your program with csc
(ex.: csc hello.cs
). The command csc
is shipped with Mono. Then add this to your VS Code user settings:
"code-runner.executorMap": {
"csharp": "echo '# calling mono\n' && cd $dir && csc /nologo $fileName && mono $dir$fileNameWithoutExt.exe",
// "csharp": "echo '# calling dotnet run\n' && dotnet run"
}
Open your C# file and use the execution key of Code Runner.
Edit: also added dotnet run
, so you can choose how you want to execute your program: with Mono, or with dotnet. If you choose dotnet, then first create the project (dotnet new console
, dotnet restore
).
axios.get
accepts a request config as the second parameter (not query string params).
You can use the params
config option to set query string params as follows:
axios.get('/api', {
params: {
foo: 'bar'
}
});
This should work:
public static final byte[] intToByteArray(int value) {
return new byte[] {
(byte)(value >>> 24),
(byte)(value >>> 16),
(byte)(value >>> 8),
(byte)value};
}
Code taken from here.
Edit An even simpler solution is given in this thread.
var input = document.getElementById ("IdofInput");
input.placeholder = "No need to fill this field";
You can find out more about placeholder
here: http://help.dottoro.com/ljgugboo.php
Abuse of the rules, same result: (x for x in 'Word to split')
Actually an iterator, not a list. But it's likely you won't really care.
For the official CLI client "psql" see here. And "pgAdmin3" 1.10 (still in beta) has "pgScript".
Try this if you want to remove all section header completely
func tableView(_ tableView: UITableView, heightForHeaderInSection section: Int) -> CGFloat {
return CGFloat.leastNormalMagnitude
}
func tableView(_ tableView: UITableView, heightForFooterInSection section: Int) -> CGFloat {
return CGFloat.leastNormalMagnitude
}
this would hep you

You can put your servers in the default_step
group and those vars will apply to it:
# inventory file
[default_step]
prod2
web_v2
Then just move your default_step.yml
file to group_vars/default_step.yml

Might be already answered, but you can try this simple program to determine if and what installation of boost you have :
#include<boost/version.hpp>
#include<iostream>
using namespace std;
int main()
{
cout<<BOOST_VERSION<<endl;
return 0;
}
First step
You need to convert the array into a list, you could write an extension method like this
// Convert An array of string to a list of string
public static List<string> ConnvertArrayToList(this string [] array) {
// DECLARE a list of string and add all element of the array into it
List<string> myList = new List<string>();
foreach( string s in array){
myList.Add(s);
}
return myList;
}
Second step
Write an extension method to convert back the list into an array
// convert a list of string to an array
public static string[] ConvertListToArray(this List<string> list) {
string[] array = new string[list.Capacity];
array = list.Select(i => i.ToString()).ToArray();
return array;
}
Last steps
Write your final method, but remember to remove the element at index before converting back to an array like the code show
public static string[] removeAt(string[] array, int index) {
List<string> myList = array.ConnvertArrayToList();
myList.RemoveAt(index);
return myList.ConvertListToArray();
}

All existing answers are correct, but I feel cannot give just this complex topic.
For a comprehensive, practical explanation you might want to have a look at this Spring @Transactional In-Depth guide, which tries its best to cover transaction management in ~4000 simple words, with a lot of code examples.
There are several problems here, so I'll start with my usual high-level advice: Start small and simple, add complexity a little at a time, test at every step, and never add to code that doesn't work. (I really ought to have that hotkeyed.)
You're mixing Make syntax and shell syntax in a way that is just dizzying. You should never have let it get this big without testing. Let's start from the outside and work inward.
UNAME := $(shell uname -m)
all:
$(info Checking if custom header is needed)
ifeq ($(UNAME), x86_64)
... do some things to build unistd_32.h
endif
@make -C $(KDIR) M=$(PWD) modules
So you want unistd_32.h built (maybe) before you invoke the second make
, you can make it a prerequisite. And since you want that only in a certain case, you can put it in a conditional:
ifeq ($(UNAME), x86_64)
all: unistd_32.h
endif
all:
@make -C $(KDIR) M=$(PWD) modules
unistd_32.h:
... do some things to build unistd_32.h
Now for building unistd_32.h
:
F1_EXISTS=$(shell [ -e /usr/include/asm/unistd_32.h ] && echo 1 || echo 0 )
ifeq ($(F1_EXISTS), 1)
$(info Copying custom header)
$(shell sed -e 's/__NR_/__NR32_/g' /usr/include/asm/unistd_32.h > unistd_32.h)
else
F2_EXISTS=$(shell [[ -e /usr/include/asm-i386/unistd.h ]] && echo 1 || echo 0 )
ifeq ($(F2_EXISTS), 1)
$(info Copying custom header)
$(shell sed -e 's/__NR_/__NR32_/g' /usr/include/asm-i386/unistd.h > unistd_32.h)
else
$(error asm/unistd_32.h and asm-386/unistd.h does not exist)
endif
endif
You are trying to build unistd.h
from unistd_32.h
; the only trick is that unistd_32.h
could be in either of two places. The simplest way to clean this up is to use a vpath
directive:
vpath unistd.h /usr/include/asm /usr/include/asm-i386
unistd_32.h: unistd.h
sed -e 's/__NR_/__NR32_/g' $< > $@
I am not getting your question properly but as per your heading, you can convert any type of object to string by using toString()
function on a String
Object.
Member functions that do not modify the class instance should be declared as const
:
int getId() const {
return id;
}
string getName() const {
return name;
}
Anytime you see "discards qualifiers", it's talking about const
or volatile
.
I just thought I would add my two-bits, because the other solutions on this question do not fall into the reusable code classification and are not convenient.
The following block of code extends the string
object so that it is available as a natural method when working with strings.
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using System.Collections;
using System.Collections.ObjectModel;
namespace System
{
public static class StringExtensions
{
public static string[] Split(this string s, string delimiter, StringSplitOptions options = StringSplitOptions.None)
{
return s.Split(new string[] { delimiter }, options);
}
}
}
You can now use the .Split()
function from any string as follows:
string[] result;
// Pass a string, and the delimiter
result = string.Split("My simple string", " ");
// Split an existing string by delimiter only
string foo = "my - string - i - want - split";
result = foo.Split("-");
// You can even pass the split options parameter. When omitted it is
// set to StringSplitOptions.None
result = foo.Split("-", StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries);
To split on a newline character, simply pass "\n"
or "\r\n"
as the delimiter parameter.
Comment: It would be nice if Microsoft implemented this overload.
You should be able to do this via the command line arguments, assuming these are Sun VMs installed using the usual Windows InstallShield mechanisms with the JVM finder EXE in system32.
Type java -help for the options. In particular, see:
-version:<value>
require the specified version to run
-jre-restrict-search | -jre-no-restrict-search
include/exclude user private JREs in the version search
Simple ways to check an empty dict are below:
a= {}
1. if a == {}:
print ('empty dict')
2. if not a:
print ('empty dict')
Although method 1st is more strict as when a = None, method 1 will provide correct result but method 2 will give an incorrect result.
I have looked through many loggers, and I wasn't able to find a lightweight solution - so I decided to make a simple solution that is posted on github.
I hope this helps you out.
http://bluejamesbond.github.io/Scribe.js/
If you want to use a single value in bash use:
companyid=$(mysql --user=$Username --password=$Password --database=$Database -s --execute="select CompanyID from mytable limit 1;"|cut -f1)
echo "$companyid"
In above code, you don't pass the kml data to your mapView anywhere in your code, as far as I can see. To display the route, you should parse the kml data i.e. via SAX parser, then display the route markers on the map.
See the code below for an example, but it's not complete though - just for you as a reference and get some idea.
This is a simple bean I use to hold the route information I will be parsing.
package com.myapp.android.model.navigation;
import java.util.ArrayList;
import java.util.Iterator;
public class NavigationDataSet {
private ArrayList<Placemark> placemarks = new ArrayList<Placemark>();
private Placemark currentPlacemark;
private Placemark routePlacemark;
public String toString() {
String s= "";
for (Iterator<Placemark> iter=placemarks.iterator();iter.hasNext();) {
Placemark p = (Placemark)iter.next();
s += p.getTitle() + "\n" + p.getDescription() + "\n\n";
}
return s;
}
public void addCurrentPlacemark() {
placemarks.add(currentPlacemark);
}
public ArrayList<Placemark> getPlacemarks() {
return placemarks;
}
public void setPlacemarks(ArrayList<Placemark> placemarks) {
this.placemarks = placemarks;
}
public Placemark getCurrentPlacemark() {
return currentPlacemark;
}
public void setCurrentPlacemark(Placemark currentPlacemark) {
this.currentPlacemark = currentPlacemark;
}
public Placemark getRoutePlacemark() {
return routePlacemark;
}
public void setRoutePlacemark(Placemark routePlacemark) {
this.routePlacemark = routePlacemark;
}
}
And the SAX Handler to parse the kml:
package com.myapp.android.model.navigation;
import android.util.Log;
import com.myapp.android.myapp;
import org.xml.sax.Attributes;
import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
import org.xml.sax.helpers.DefaultHandler;

DataTables have an overloaded Select method that you can you to do this. See here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/way3dy9w.aspx
But the return val of the Select call is not a DataTable but an array of RowData objects. If you want to return a DataTable from your function you will have to build it from scratch based on that data array. Here is a post that addresses and provides a sample for both issues: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winformsdatacontrols/thread/157a4a0f-1324-4301-9725-3def95de2bf2/
I found several ways to compile python scripts into bytecode
Using py_compile
in terminal:
python -m py_compile File1.py File2.py File3.py ...
-m
specifies the module(s) name to be compiled.
Or, for interactive compilation of files
python -m py_compile -
File1.py
File2.py
File3.py
.
.
.
Using py_compile.compile
:
import py_compile
py_compile.compile('YourFileName.py')
Using py_compile.main()
:
It compiles several files at a time.
import py_compile
py_compile.main(['File1.py','File2.py','File3.py'])
The list can grow as long as you wish. Alternatively, you can obviously pass a list of files in main or even file names in command line args.
Or, if you pass ['-']
in main then it can compile files interactively.
Using compileall.compile_dir()
:
import compileall
compileall.compile_dir(direname)
It compiles every single Python file present in the supplied directory.
Using compileall.compile_file()
:
import compileall
compileall.compile_file('YourFileName.py')

Then, wait for it while it is "getting things ready..." and being "almost there..."
Switch to the "Individual components" tab
Scroll down to the "Compilers, build tools, and runtimes" section
Check "VC++ 2017 version 15.9 v14.16 latest v141 tools"
like this:
After doing this, you will be blessed with not just one, but a whopping four instances of DUMPBIN:

The getPosts()
function seems to be expecting $con
to be global, but you're not declaring it as such.
A lot of programmers regard bald global variables as a "code smell". The alternative at the other end of the scale is to always pass around the connection resource. Partway between the two is a singleton call that always returns the same resource handle.
HTML Form Element Validation

If you don't like remembering SQL syntax, using Mig# you can simply:
var schema = new DbSchema(ConnectionString, DbPlatform.SqlServer2014);
schema.Alter(db => db.CreateTable("Customer")
.WithPrimaryKeyColumn("Id", DbType.Int32).AsIdentity()
.WithNotNullableColumn("First_Name", DbType.String).OfSize(50)
.WithNotNullableColumn("Last_Name", DbType.String).OfSize(50)
...);
If you are not sure if it already exists, call DropIfExists
before:
db.Tables["Customers"].DropIfExists();
>>> string = "aswdrtio"
>>> [string.lower().count(x) for x in "aeiou"]
[1, 0, 1, 1, 0]
You need to put "here" into a <div>
or <span>
with style="float: right"
.
Thanks Philip this helped me - my use case was I had a form with lot of input fields so I maintained initial state as object and I was not able to update the object state.The above post helped me :)
const [projectGroupDetails, setProjectGroupDetails] = useState({
"projectGroupId": "",
"projectGroup": "DDD",
"project-id": "",
"appd-ui": "",
"appd-node": ""
});
const inputGroupChangeHandler = (event) => {
setProjectGroupDetails((prevState) => ({
...prevState,
[event.target.id]: event.target.value
}));
}
<Input
id="projectGroupId"
labelText="Project Group Id"
value={projectGroupDetails.projectGroupId}
onChange={inputGroupChangeHandler}
/>
For some reason, none of the answers posted here helped me to get all controls of given type contained in a given control in my MainWindow. I needed to find all menu items in one menu to iterate them. They were not all direct descendants of the menu, so i managed to collect only the first lilne of them using any of the code above. This extension method is my solution for the problem for anyone who will continue to read all the way down here.
public static void FindVisualChildren<T>(this ICollection<T> children, DependencyObject depObj) where T : DependencyObject
{
if (depObj != null)
{
var brethren = LogicalTreeHelper.GetChildren(depObj);
var brethrenOfType = LogicalTreeHelper.GetChildren(depObj).OfType<T>();
foreach (var childOfType in brethrenOfType)
{
children.Add(childOfType);
}
foreach (var rawChild in brethren)
{
if (rawChild is DependencyObject)
{
var child = rawChild as DependencyObject;
FindVisualChildren<T>(children, child);
}
}
}
}
Hope it helps.
To get a list of all model classes, you can use ActiveRecord::Base.subclasses
e.g.
ActiveRecord::Base.subclasses.map { |cl| cl.name }
ActiveRecord::Base.subclasses.find { |cl| cl.name == "Foo" }
There's probably a really neat RegExp, but I'm noob in that area, so instead...
String s = "test string (67)";
s = s.substring(s.indexOf("(") + 1);
s = s.substring(0, s.indexOf(")"));
System.out.println(s);
With CSS: table {float:left;}?
?
If you need to display all the records after 2014-09-01, add this to your query:
SELECT * FROM Events
WHERE Format(Events.DATE_TIME,'yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss') >= Format("2014-09-01 00:00:00","yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss")
The default value of char is null which is '\u0000' as per Unicode chart. Let us see how it works while printing out.
public class Test_Class {
char c;
void printAll() {
System.out.println("c = " + c);
}
public static void main(String[] args) {
Test_Class f = new Test_Class();
f.printAll();
} }
Note: The output is blank.
I'm quite fond of this solution myself:
ul {
list-style-position: inside;
list-style-type: disc;
font-size: 12px;
line-height: 1.4em;
padding: 0 1em;
}
ul li {
margin: 0 0 0 1em;
padding: 0 0 0 1em;
text-indent: -2em;
}
@SweetSpice, use position as absolute in place of relative. It will work
#frame{
overflow: hidden;
width: 860px;
height: 100%;
position: absolute;
}
If it was installed with plesk (not sure if it's just that, or on the phpmyadmin side: It changes the root user to admin.
The [:-1]
removes the last element. Instead of
a[3:-1]
write
a[3:]

NumPy slicing is an extension of that. The NumPy tutorial has some coverage: Indexing, Slicing and Iterating.
thanks for the raw data. I'm on the train and this is as far as I've gotten (my stop is coming up). I massaged your txt file with regexps and have plopped it into a html page with some javascript for visualization. I'm sharing it here because some, like myself, might find it more readily hackable than python.
I think a good approach will be scale and rotation invariant, and my next step will be to investigate mixtures of gaussians. (each paw pad being the center of a gaussian).

Save your sorting order in a ViewState.

Why you don't want to use existing sorting functionality? You can always customize it.
Sorting Data in a GridView Web Server Control at MSDN
Here is an example with customization:
from w3schools
it is pretty easy to create a node server to serve any file that is requested, and you dont need to install any packages for it
var http = require('http');
var url = require('url');
var fs = require('fs');
http.createServer(function (req, res) {
var q = url.parse(req.url, true);
var filename = "." + q.pathname;
fs.readFile(filename, function(err, data) {
if (err) {
res.writeHead(404, {'Content-Type': 'text/html'});
return res.end("404 Not Found");
}
res.writeHead(200, {'Content-Type': 'text/html'});
res.write(data);
return res.end();
});
}).listen(8080);
http://localhost:8080/file.html
will serve file.html from disk
Simple install
pip3 install PyQt5==5.9.2
It works for me.
It seems that in PHP 7.1, a Warning will be emitted if a non-numeric value is encountered. See this link.
Here is the relevant portion that pertains to the Warning notice you are getting:
New E_WARNING and E_NOTICE errors have been introduced when invalid strings are coerced using operators expecting numbers or their assignment equivalents. An E_NOTICE is emitted when the string begins with a numeric value but contains trailing non-numeric characters, and an E_WARNING is emitted when the string does not contain a numeric value.
I'm guessing either $item['quantity'] or $product['price'] does not contain a numeric value, so make sure that they do before trying to multiply them. Maybe use some sort of conditional before calculating the $sub_total, like so:
<?php
if (is_numeric($item['quantity']) && is_numeric($product['price'])) {
$sub_total += ($item['quantity'] * $product['price']);
} else {
// do some error handling...
}
I found that ctrl + w to the window you want to close, then just do :q. This works for me.
You can straight use a DB to do it as an alternative. I use a DB function to do it that I call chk_lgn.
Check login checks to see if they are logged in or not and, in doing so, it sets the date time stamp of the check as last active in the user's db row/column.
I also do the time check there. This works for me for the moment as I use this function for every page.
P.S. No one I had seen had suggested a pure DB solution.
x64 is a generic name for the 64-bit extensions to Intel's and AMD's 32-bit x86 instruction set architecture (ISA). AMD introduced the first version of x64, initially called x86-64 and later renamed AMD64. Intel named their implementation IA-32e and then EMT64.
its simple as possible by using this util method
/*
* param@ imageView is your image you want to bordered it
*/
public static Bitmap generateBorders(ImageView imageView){
Bitmap mbitmap = ((BitmapDrawable) imageView.getDrawable()).getBitmap();
Bitmap imageRounded = Bitmap.createBitmap(mbitmap.getWidth(), mbitmap.getHeight(), mbitmap.getConfig());
Canvas canvas = new Canvas(imageRounded);
Paint mpaint = new Paint();
mpaint.setAntiAlias(true);
mpaint.setShader(new BitmapShader(mbitmap, Shader.TileMode.CLAMP, Shader.TileMode.CLAMP));
canvas.drawRoundRect((new RectF(0, 0, mbitmap.getWidth(), mbitmap.getHeight())), 100, 100, mpaint);// Round Image Corner 100 100 100 100
return imageRounded;
}
then set your image view bitmap with returned value have fun
I had a similar problem with a different cause and therefore different solution. In my case, I actually had an error where a singleton object was having a member variable modified in a non-threadsafe way. In this case, following the accepted answers and circumventing the parallel testing would only hide the error that was actually revealed by the test. My solution, of course, is to fix the design so that I don't have this bad behavior in my code.
