ImageButton \ Button etc.
CommandArgument='<%# Container.DataItemIndex%>'
code-behind
protected void gvProductsList_RowCommand(object sender, GridViewCommandEventArgs e)
{
int index = e.CommandArgument;
}
I usually pass the RowIndex via CommandArgument and use it to retrieve the DataKey value I want.
On the Button:
CommandArgument='<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container, "RowIndex") %>'
On the Server Event
int rowIndex = int.Parse(e.CommandArgument.ToString());
string val = (string)this.grid.DataKeys[rowIndex]["myKey"];
Here are the steps that i took to solve the issue and you can try also
ssh-keygen
and hit enterC:\Users\<username>\.ssh
and open a file named id_rsa.pub
in notepad and copy the keySettings
and select the option SSH and GPS keys
.git push origin master
I hope you wont get any errorYou can also watch the output like this:
final Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java -jar map.jar time.rel test.txt debug");
new Thread(new Runnable() {
public void run() {
BufferedReader input = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(p.getInputStream()));
String line = null;
try {
while ((line = input.readLine()) != null)
System.out.println(line);
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
}).start();
p.waitFor();
And don't forget, if you are running a windows command, you need to put cmd /c
in front of your command.
EDIT: And for bonus points, you can also use ProcessBuilder
to pass input to a program:
String[] command = new String[] {
"choice",
"/C",
"YN",
"/M",
"\"Press Y if you're cool\""
};
String inputLine = "Y";
ProcessBuilder pb = new ProcessBuilder(command);
pb.redirectErrorStream(true);
Process p = pb.start();
BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(p.getInputStream()));
BufferedWriter writer = new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(p.getOutputStream()));
writer.write(inputLine);
writer.newLine();
writer.close();
String line;
while ((line = reader.readLine()) != null) {
System.out.println(line);
}
This will run the windows command choice /C YN /M "Press Y if you're cool"
and respond with a Y
. So, the output will be:
Press Y if you're cool [Y,N]?Y
Yes, I am fairly sure it is. One method of working around that using the standard library would be:
int index = str.toUpperCase().indexOf("FOO");
For special characters like '&' you can surround the entire expression with quotation marks
set "url=https://url?retry=true&w=majority"
Regarding your questions, let me address them in order and give some examples:
1) A list is returned if and when the return statement adds one. Consider
R> retList <- function() return(list(1,2,3,4)); class(retList())
[1] "list"
R> notList <- function() return(c(1,2,3,4)); class(notList())
[1] "numeric"
R>
2) Names are simply not set:
R> retList <- function() return(list(1,2,3,4)); names(retList())
NULL
R>
3) They do not return the same thing. Your example gives
R> x <- list(1,2,3,4)
R> x[1]
[[1]]
[1] 1
R> x[[1]]
[1] 1
where x[1]
returns the first element of x
-- which is the same as x
. Every scalar is a vector of length one. On the other hand x[[1]]
returns the first element of the list.
4) Lastly, the two are different between they create, respectively, a list containing four scalars and a list with a single element (that happens to be a vector of four elements).
I faced problems with ubuntu 18.04 and mysql 5.7, this is the solution
Try restart mysql-server before execution the comands
sudo service mysql restart
MYSQL-SERVER >= 5.7
sudo mysql -uroot -p
USE mysql;
UPDATE user SET authentication_string=PASSWORD('YOUR_PASSWORD') WHERE User='root';
UPDATE user SET plugin="mysql_native_password";
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
quit;
MYSQL-SERVER < 5.7
sudo mysql -uroot -p
USE mysql;
UPDATE user SET password=PASSWORD('YOUR_PASSWORD') WHERE User='root';
UPDATE user SET plugin="mysql_native_password";
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
quit;
I know this is an old post but I had the same question but didn't find an answer that set the element fixed relative to a parent div
. The scroll bar on medium.com is a great pure CSS solution for setting something position: fixed;
relative to a parent element instead of the viewport (kinda*). It is achieved by setting the parent div
to position: relative;
and having a button wrapper with position: absolute;
and the button of course is position: fixed;
as follows:
<div class="wrapper">
<div class="content">
Your long content here
</div>
<div class="button-wrapper">
<button class="button">This is your button</button>
</div>
</div>
<style>
.wrapper {
position: relative;
}
.button-wrapper {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
top: 0;
width: 50px;
}
.button {
position: fixed;
top: 0;
width: 50px;
}
</style>
*Since fixed elements don't scroll with the page the vertical position will still be relative to the viewport but the horizontal position is relative to the parent with this solution.
I found an example online which seems to work well:
First you create a new ICertificatePolicy
using System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates;
using System.Net;
public class MyPolicy : ICertificatePolicy
{
public bool CheckValidationResult(ServicePoint srvPoint, X509Certificate certificate, WebRequest request,
int certificateProblem)
{
//Return True to force the certificate to be accepted.
return true;
}
}
Then just use this prior to sending your http request like so:
System.Net.ServicePointManager.CertificatePolicy = new MyPolicy();
http://www.terminally-incoherent.com/blog/2008/05/05/send-a-https-post-request-with-c/
For a specific folder I used:
git checkout -- FolderToClean/*
I would also recommend to think to ignore files like:
.*.swp
.*.swo
as you may have files that end with .swp
Is above javascript code the one you're using in your web application ? If so - i would like to point few errors in it: firstly - it has an additional '{' sign in definition of 'success' callback function secondly - it has no ')' sign after definition of ajax callback. Valid code should look like:
$.ajax({
type:'POST',
data: 'args',
url: '@Url.Action("PostBack")',
success: function (data, textStatus, jqXHR) {
alert(data.message);
}
});
try using above code - it gave me 'Yay' alert on all 3 IE versions ( 7,8,9 ).
it worked for me:
function changeFooterPosition() {
$('.footer-menu').css('top', window.innerHeight + window.scrollY - 44 + "px");
}
$(document).bind('scroll', function() {
changeFooterPosition();
});
(44 is the height of my bar)
Although the bar only moves at the end of the scroll...
Besides the box-shadow, transform and border options mentioned in other answers, WebKit browsers currently also obey -webkit-text-fill-color to set the colour of the "time elapsed" numbers, but since there is no way to set their background (which might vary with platform, e.g. inverted high-contrast modes on some operating systems), you would be advised to set -webkit-text-fill-color to the value "initial" if you've used it elsewhere and the audio element is inheriting this, otherwise some users might find those numbers unreadable.
CommonJS and AMD are specifications (or formats) on how modules and their dependencies should be declared in javascript applications.
RequireJS is a script loader library that is AMD compliant, curljs being another example.
Taken from Addy Osmani's book.
// package/lib is a dependency we require
var lib = require( "package/lib" );
// behavior for our module
function foo(){
lib.log( "hello world!" );
}
// export (expose) foo to other modules as foobar
exports.foobar = foo;
// package/lib is a dependency we require
define(["package/lib"], function (lib) {
// behavior for our module
function foo() {
lib.log( "hello world!" );
}
// export (expose) foo to other modules as foobar
return {
foobar: foo
}
});
Somewhere else the module can be used with:
require(["package/myModule"], function(myModule) {
myModule.foobar();
});
Actually, CommonJS is much more than an API declaration and only a part of it deals with that. AMD started as a draft specification for the module format on the CommonJS list, but full consensus wasn't reached and further development of the format moved to the amdjs group. Arguments around which format is better state that CommonJS attempts to cover a broader set of concerns and that it's better suited for server side development given its synchronous nature, and that AMD is better suited for client side (browser) development given its asynchronous nature and the fact that it has its roots in Dojo's module declaration implementation.
How about this:
src = [ 'one', 'two', 'three', 'two', 'three', 'three' ]
result_dict = dict( [ (i, src.count(i)) for i in set(src) ] )
This results in
{'one': 1, 'three': 3, 'two': 2}
Documentation for parseDouble()
says "Returns a new double initialized to the value represented by the specified String, as performed by the valueOf method of class Double.", so they should be identical.
BLOB :
BLOB
(Binary Large Object) is a large object data type in the database system. BLOB
could store a large chunk of data, document types and even media files like audio or video files. BLOB
fields allocate space only whenever the content in the field is utilized. BLOB
allocates spaces in Giga Bytes.
USAGE OF BLOB :
You can write a binary large object (BLOB
) to a database as either binary or character data, depending on the type of field at your data source. To write a BLOB
value to your database, issue the appropriate INSERT or UPDATE
statement and pass the BLOB
value as an input parameter. If your BLOB
is stored as text, such as a SQL Server text field, you can pass the BLOB
as a string parameter. If the BLOB
is stored in binary format, such as a SQL Server image field, you can pass an array of type byte as a binary parameter.
A useful link : Storing documents as BLOB in Database - Any disadvantages ?
The above answers are correct, but I found that a simple typo can also generate this error. For example, I had var router = express() instead of var router = express.Router() and got this error. So it should be the following:
// App.js
var express = require('express');
var app = express();
var bodyParser = require('body-parser');
app.use(bodyParser.urlencoded({ extended:false}));
// assuming you put views folder in the same directory as app.js
app.set('views', __dirname + '/views')
app.engine('ejs', ejs.renderFile);
app.set('view engine', 'ejs');
// router - wherever you put it, could be in app.js
var router = express.Router();
router.get('/', function (req,res) {
res.render('/index.ejs');
})
The correct approach is to use a single timer. Using setInterval
, you can achieve what you want as follows:
window.onload = function start() {
slide();
}
function slide() {
var num = 0, style = document.getElementById('container').style;
window.setInterval(function () {
// increase by num 1, reset to 0 at 4
num = (num + 1) % 4;
// -600 * 1 = -600, -600 * 2 = -1200, etc
style.marginLeft = (-600 * num) + "px";
}, 3000); // repeat forever, polling every 3 seconds
}
Also, your compare function is incorrect. It needs to return -1, 0, or 1, not a boolean as you have it. The correct compare function would be:
def compare(item1, item2):
if fitness(item1) < fitness(item2):
return -1
elif fitness(item1) > fitness(item2):
return 1
else:
return 0
# Calling
list.sort(key=compare)
volatile
tells the compiler that your variable may be changed by other means, than the code that is accessing it. e.g., it may be a I/O-mapped memory location. If this is not specified in such cases, some variable accesses can be optimised, e.g., its contents can be held in a register, and the memory location not read back in again.
Just discovered that if the source table for a subform is updated using adodb, it takes a while until the requery can find the updated information.
In my case, I was adding some records with 'dbconn.execute "sql" ' and wondered why the requery command in vba doesn't seem to work. When I was debugging, the requery worked. Added a 2-3 second wait in the code before requery just to test made a difference.
But changing to 'currentdb.execute "sql" ' fixed the problem immediately.
If you just need a good date-parsing function, I would look at date.js. It will take just about any date string you can throw at it, and return you a JavaScript Date object.
Once you have a Date object, you can call its getTime() method, which will give you milliseconds since January 1, 1970. Just divide that result by 1000 to get the unix timestamp value.
In code, just include date.js, then:
var unixtime = Date.parse("24-Nov-2009 17:57:35").getTime()/1000
Possible. You can get commercial sport also.
JavaFXPorts is the name of the open source project maintained by Gluon that develops the code necessary for Java and JavaFX to run well on mobile and embedded hardware. The goal of this project is to contribute as much back to the OpenJFX project wherever possible, and when not possible, to maintain the minimal number of changes necessary to enable the goals of JavaFXPorts. Gluon takes the JavaFXPorts source code and compiles it into binaries ready for deployment onto iOS, Android, and embedded hardware. The JavaFXPorts builds are freely available on this website for all developers.
I know I am quite late to post this, but I share similar experience when I learned the ropes of IAP model.
In-app purchase is one of the most comprehensive workflow in iOS implemented by Storekit framework. The entire documentation is quite clear if you patience to read it, but is somewhat advanced in nature of technicality.
To summarize:
1 - Request the products - use SKProductRequest & SKProductRequestDelegate classes to issue request for Product IDs and receive them back from your own itunesconnect store.
These SKProducts should be used to populate your store UI which the user can use to buy a specific product.
2 - Issue payment request - use SKPayment & SKPaymentQueue to add payment to the transaction queue.
3 - Monitor transaction queue for status update - use SKPaymentTransactionObserver Protocol's updatedTransactions method to monitor status:
SKPaymentTransactionStatePurchasing - don't do anything
SKPaymentTransactionStatePurchased - unlock product, finish the transaction
SKPaymentTransactionStateFailed - show error, finish the transaction
SKPaymentTransactionStateRestored - unlock product, finish the transaction
4 - Restore button flow - use SKPaymentQueue's restoreCompletedTransactions to accomplish this - step 3 will take care of the rest, along with SKPaymentTransactionObserver's following methods:
paymentQueueRestoreCompletedTransactionsFinished
restoreCompletedTransactionsFailedWithError
Here is a step by step tutorial (authored by me as a result of my own attempts to understand it) that explains it. At the end it also provides code sample that you can directly use.
Here is another one I created to explain certain things that only text could describe in better manner.
If you use MAMP, you might have to set the socket: unix_socket: /Applications/MAMP/tmp/mysql/mysql.sock
Thanks to @EdChum I was struggling with same problem especially when indexes do not match. Unfortunatly in pandas guide this case is missed (when you for example delete some rows)
import pandas as pd
t=pd.DataFrame()
t['a']=[1,2,3,4]
t=t.loc[t['a']>1] #now index starts from 1
u=pd.DataFrame()
u['b']=[1,2,3] #index starts from 0
#option 1
#keep index of t
u.index = t.index
#option 2
#index of t starts from 0
t.reset_index(drop=True, inplace=True)
#now concat will keep number of rows
r=pd.concat([t,u], axis=1)
Your last example is invalid JSON. Single quotes are not allowed in JSON except inside strings. In the second example, the single quotes are not in the string, but serve to show the start and end.
See http://www.json.org/ for the specifications.
Should add: Why do you think this: "like I seem to need to in my real code"? Then maybe we can help you come up with the solution.
As static_rtti said above, change
https://github.com/username/repo.git
git://github.com/username/repo.git
to
ssh://[email protected]/username/repo.git
I myself changed the https
in the .git/config file to ssh
, but it still wasn't working. Then I saw that you must change github.com
to [email protected]
. A good way to get the actual correct URL is to go to your project page and click this:
Change HTTPS to SSH to get the right URL
Then add this URL to the configuration file.
You are using the wrong iteration counter, replace inp.charAt(i)
with inp.charAt(j)
.
If you're getting source in Content Use the following method
try
{
var response = restClient.Execute<List<EmpModel>>(restRequest);
var jsonContent = response.Content;
var data = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<List<EmpModel>>(jsonContent);
foreach (EmpModel item in data)
{
listPassingData?.Add(item);
}
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
Console.WriteLine($"Data get mathod problem {ex} ");
}
If one's find
does not have -mmin
and if one also is stuck with a find
that accepts only integer values for -mtime
, then all is not necessarily lost if one considers that "older than" is similar to "not newer than".
If we were able to create a file that that has an mtime of our cut-off time, we can ask find
to locate the files that are "not newer than" our reference file.
To create a file that has the correct time stamp is a bit involved because a system that doesn't have an adequate find
probably also has a less-than-capable date
command that could do things like: date +%Y%m%d%H%M%S -d "6 hours ago"
.
Fortunately, other old tools that can manage this, albeit in a more unwieldy way.
Consider that six hours is 21600 seconds. We want to find the time that is six hours ago in a format that is useful:
$ date && perl -e '@d=localtime time()-21600; \
printf "%4d%02d%02d%02d%02d.%02d\n", $d[5]+1900,$d[4]+1,$d[3],$d[2],$d[1],$d[0]'
> Thu Apr 16 04:50:57 CDT 2020
202004152250.57
The perl statement did produce a useful date, but it has to be put to better use:
$ date && touch -t `perl -e '@d=localtime time()-21600; \
printf "%4d%02d%02d%02d%02d.%02d\n", \
$d[5]+1900,$d[4]+1,$d[3],$d[2],$d[1],$d[0]'` ref_file && ls -l ref_file
Thu Apr 16 04:53:54 CDT 2020
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root sys 0 Apr 15 22:53 ref_file
Now the solution for this old UNIX is something along the lines of:
$ find . -type f ! -newer ref_file -a ! -name ref_file -exec rm -f "{}" \;
It might also be a good idea to clean up our reference file...
$ rm -f ref_file
1.Go to My Computer Properties
2.Then click on Advance setting.
3.Go to Environment variable
4.Set the path to

change your drive and folder depending on your requirement...
How about using a JavaScript trick?
var Avals = ss.getRange("A1:A").getValues();
var Alast = Avals.filter(String).length;
I borrowed this idea from this answer. The Array.filter()
method is operating on the Avals
array, which contains all the cells in column A. By filtering on a native function's constructor, we get back only non-null elements.
This works for a single column only; if the range contains multiple columns,then the outcome of filter()
will include cells from all columns, and thus be outside the populated dimensions of the range.
An initial reaction to this would be to ask and ensure that the two object files are being linked together. This is done at the compile stage by compiling both files at the same time:
gcc -o programName a.c b.c
Or if you want to compile separately, it would be:
gcc -c a.c
gcc -c b.c
gcc -o programName a.o b.o
I found very good link for JSON: http://code.google.com/p/json-simple/wiki/EncodingExamples#Example_1-1_-_Encode_a_JSON_object
Here's code to add multiple JSONObjects to JSONArray.
JSONArray Obj = new JSONArray();
try {
for(int i = 0; i < 3; i++) {
// 1st object
JSONObject list1 = new JSONObject();
list1.put("val1",i+1);
list1.put("val2",i+2);
list1.put("val3",i+3);
obj.put(list1);
}
} catch (JSONException e1) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e1.printStackTrace();
}
Toast.makeText(MainActivity.this, ""+obj, Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
In a few words: The constructor is called first, then any @FXML
annotated fields are populated, then initialize()
is called.
This means the constructor does not have access to @FXML
fields referring to components defined in the .fxml file, while initialize()
does have access to them.
Quoting from the Introduction to FXML:
[...] the controller can define an initialize() method, which will be called once on an implementing controller when the contents of its associated document have been completely loaded [...] This allows the implementing class to perform any necessary post-processing on the content.
That is how I make it work :
sudo apt-get install default-jre
sudo apt-get install default-jdk
sudo R CMD javareconf
install.packages("rJava")
This is the way to iterate on this array:
foreach($hotels as $row) {
foreach($row['rooms'] as $k) {
echo $k['boards']['board_id'];
echo $k['boards']['price'];
}
}
You want to iterate on the hotels and the rooms (the ones with numeric indexes), because those seem to be the "collections" in this case. The other arrays only hold and group properties.
As of Python3 you no longer need to open devnull and can call subprocess.DEVNULL.
Your code would be updated as such:
import subprocess
text = 'Hello World.'
print(text)
subprocess.call(['espeak', text], stderr=subprocess.DEVNULL)
With Postgres 9.3+, just use the ->
operator. For example,
SELECT data->'images'->'thumbnail'->'url' AS thumb FROM instagram;
see http://clarkdave.net/2013/06/what-can-you-do-with-postgresql-and-json/ for some nice examples and a tutorial.
import math
dist = math.hypot(math.hypot(xa-xb, ya-yb), za-zb)
for my app, with encryped GET url parameters, only this worked. I always got a TypeError: $(...) is null
.

Try this
ALTER TABLE `users` ADD `id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT;
for an existing primary key
If it is just an empty div, this is sufficient:
$("#foo").append("<div>")
or
$("#foo").append("<div/>")
It gives the same result.
In MySQL you can use:
SELECT CONCAT(Address1, " ", Address2)
WHERE SOUNDEX(CONCAT(Address1, " ", Address2)) = SOUNDEX("Center St 3B")
The SOUNDEX
function works similarly in most database systems, I can't think of the syntax for MSSQL at the minute, but it wouldn't be too far away from the above.
Since Java 9, you can create instances of Map.Entry
easier than before:
Entry<Integer, String> pair = Map.entry(1, "a");
Map.entry
returns an unmodifiable Entry
and forbids nulls.
You can use a nullable DateTime for this.
Nullable<DateTime> myDateTime;
or the same thing written like this:
DateTime? myDateTime;
Random random=new Random();
int randomNumber=(random.nextInt(65536)-32768);
This happened to me when I imported a Java 1.8 project from Eclipse Luna into Eclipse Kepler.
Et voilà, that worked for me.
Here is a little snippet that allows you to change the type
of elements in documents.
jquery.type.js
(GitHub Gist):
var rtype = /^(?:button|input)$/i;
jQuery.attrHooks.type.set = function(elem, value) {
// We can't allow the type property to be changed (since it causes problems in IE)
if (rtype.test(elem.nodeName) && elem.parentNode) {
// jQuery.error( "type property can't be changed" );
// JB: Or ... can it!?
var $el = $(elem);
var insertionFn = 'after';
var $insertionPoint = $el.prev();
if (!$insertionPoint.length) {
insertionFn = 'prepend';
$insertionPoint = $el.parent();
}
$el.detach().attr('type', value);
$insertionPoint[insertionFn]($el);
return value;
} else if (!jQuery.support.radioValue && value === "radio" && jQuery.nodeName(elem, "input")) {
// Setting the type on a radio button after the value resets the value in IE6-9
// Reset value to it's default in case type is set after value
// This is for element creation
var val = elem.value;
elem.setAttribute("type", value);
if (val) {
elem.value = val;
}
return value;
}
}
It gets around the issue by removing the input
from the document, changing the type
and then putting it back where it was originally.
Note that this snippet was only tested for WebKit browsers – no guarantees on anything else!
The following example shows benchmarks for a few alternatives.
library(rbenchmark) # Note spelling: "rbenchmark", not "benchmark"
benchmark(seq(0,1e6,by=2),(0:5e5)*2,seq.int(0L,1e6L,by=2L))
## test replications elapsed relative user.self sys.self
## 2 (0:5e+05) * 2 100 0.587 3.536145 0.344 0.244
## 1 seq(0, 1e6, by = 2) 100 2.760 16.626506 1.832 0.900
## 3 seq.int(0, 1e6, by = 2) 100 0.166 1.000000 0.056 0.096
In this case, seq.int
is the fastest method and seq
the slowest. If performance of this step isn't that important (it still takes < 3 seconds to generate a sequence of 500,000 values), I might still use seq
as the most readable solution.
This usually happens to me when I forget to change the company to match mine.
When you create a new app, it usually says, "com.yourcompany". Change it to whatever you registered with, in my case com.DavidKanarek

Input elements are inline by default. Add display:block
to get the margins to apply. This will, however, break the buttons onto two separate lines. Use a wrapping <div>
with text-align: center
as suggested by others to get them on the same line.
Use a Temp Table or a Table variable, e.g.
select 'A' as [value]
into #tmp
union
select 'B'
union
select 'C'
and then
SELECT
blah
FROM foo
WHERE myField IN (select [value] from #tmp)
or
SELECT
f.blah
FROM foo f INNER JOIN #tmp t ON f.myField = t.[value]
another version:

Emacs takes many launch options. The one that you are looking for is
emacs -nw
. This will open Emacs inside the terminal disregarding the DISPLAY environment variable even if it is set.
The long form of this flag is emacs --no-window-system
.
More information about Emacs launch options can be found in the manual.
As commented, just in case the link I posted there broke, try this:
Add a Name(any valid name) in Excel's Name Manager under Formula tab in the Ribbon.
Then assign a formula using GET.CELL function.
=GET.CELL(63,INDIRECT("rc",FALSE))
63 stands for backcolor.
Let's say we name it Background so in any cell with color type:
=Background
Result:
Notice that Cells A2, A3 and A4 returns 3, 4, and 5 respectively which equates to the cells background color index. HTH.
BTW, here's a link on Excel's Color Index
I also meet this situation and finally fixed it.
Firstly, I will describe my situation. I have two nodes in ElasticSearch cluster, they can find each other, but when I created a index with settings "number_of_replicas" : 2, "number_of_shards" : 5, ES show yellow signal and unassigned_shards is 5.
The problem occurs because the value of number_of_replicas, when I set its value with 1, all is fine.
If you have something like this:
var json = [ {a:b, c:d}, {e:f, g:h, ...}, {..}, ... ]
then, you can do:
alert(json.length)
Personally, I would print them to a file using Perl or Python in the format
<COL_NAME>: <COL_VAL>
for each row so that the file has as many lines as there are columns. Then I'd do a diff
between the two files, assuming you are on Unix or compare them using some equivalent utilty on another OS. If you have multiple recordsets (i.e. more than one row), I would prepend to each file row and then the file would have NUM_DB_ROWS * NUM_COLS lines
AnyObject
is the official way to use a weak reference in Swift.
class MyClass {
weak var delegate: MyClassDelegate?
}
protocol MyClassDelegate: AnyObject {
}
From Apple:
To prevent strong reference cycles, delegates should be declared as weak references. For more information about weak references, see Strong Reference Cycles Between Class Instances. Marking the protocol as class-only will later allow you to declare that the delegate must use a weak reference. You mark a protocol as being class-only by inheriting from AnyObject, as discussed in Class-Only Protocols.
You can also use hash-based navigation by including the following in app.module.ts
import { LocationStrategy, HashLocationStrategy } from '@angular/common';
and by adding the following to the @NgModule({ ... })
@NgModule({
...
providers: [
ProductService, {
provide: LocationStrategy, useClass: HashLocationStrategy
}
],
...
})
“HashLocationStrategy—A hash sign (#) is added to the URL, and the URL segment after the hash uniquely identifies the route to be used as a web page fragment. This strategy works with all browsers, including the old ones.”

If you want a nice slow animation scroll, for any anchor with href="#bottom"
this will scroll you to the bottom:
$("a[href='#bottom']").click(function() {
$("html, body").animate({ scrollTop: $(document).height() }, "slow");
return false;
});
Feel free to change the selector.

Re: craigts's response, for anyone having trouble with using either False or None parameters for index_col, such as in cases where you're trying to get rid of a range index, you can instead use an integer to specify the column you want to use as the index. For example:
df = pd.read_csv('file.csv', index_col=0)
The above will set the first column as the index (and not add a range index in my "common case").
Given the popularity of this answer, I thought i'd add some context/ a demo:
# Setting up the dummy data
In [1]: df = pd.DataFrame({"A":[1, 2, 3], "B":[4, 5, 6]})
In [2]: df
Out[2]:
A B
0 1 4
1 2 5
2 3 6
In [3]: df.to_csv('file.csv', index=None)
File[3]:
A B
1 4
2 5
3 6
Reading without index_col or with None/False will all result in a range index:
In [4]: pd.read_csv('file.csv')
Out[4]:
A B
0 1 4
1 2 5
2 3 6
# Note that this is the default behavior, so the same as In [4]
In [5]: pd.read_csv('file.csv', index_col=None)
Out[5]:
A B
0 1 4
1 2 5
2 3 6
In [6]: pd.read_csv('file.csv', index_col=False)
Out[6]:
A B
0 1 4
1 2 5
2 3 6
However, if we specify that "A" (the 0th column) is actually the index, we can avoid the range index:
In [7]: pd.read_csv('file.csv', index_col=0)
Out[7]:
B
A
1 4
2 5
3 6
How about

.
If all else fails, look for duplication. I was misdirected by the explicit initial reference to constructors and destructors until I read a reference in another post. It's any unresolved method. In my case, I thought I had replaced the declaration that used char *xml
as the parameter with one using the unnecessarily troublesome const char *xml
, but instead, I had created a new one and left the other one in place.
I was searching for quite a while for a solution to add a header without using a separate sheet and copy everything into the userform.
My solution is to use the first row as header and run it through an if condition and add additional items underneath.
Like that:
If lborowcount = 0 Then_x000D_
With lboorder_x000D_
.ColumnCount = 5_x000D_
.AddItem_x000D_
.Column(0, lborowcount) = "Item"_x000D_
.Column(1, lborowcount) = "Description"_x000D_
.Column(2, lborowcount) = "Ordered"_x000D_
.Column(3, lborowcount) = "Rate"_x000D_
.Column(4, lborowcount) = "Amount"_x000D_
End With_x000D_
lborowcount = lborowcount + 1_x000D_
End If_x000D_
_x000D_
_x000D_
With lboorder_x000D_
.ColumnCount = 5_x000D_
.AddItem_x000D_
.Column(0, lborowcount) = itemselected_x000D_
.Column(1, lborowcount) = descriptionselected_x000D_
.Column(2, lborowcount) = orderedselected_x000D_
.Column(3, lborowcount) = rateselected_x000D_
.Column(4, lborowcount) = amountselected_x000D_
_x000D_
_x000D_
End With_x000D_
_x000D_
lborowcount = lborowcount + 1
_x000D_
in that example lboorder is the listbox, lborowcount counts at which row to add the next listbox item. It's a 5 column listbox. Not ideal but it works and when you have to scroll horizontally the "header" stays above the row.
I am not sure if this is related but I have solved my problem with ²
HTML entities as I wasn't able to add any other html tags inside a <label>
tag. So the idea was using ASCII codes instead of css or HTML tags.
You can use strtol
for that:
long x;
if (argc < 2)
/* handle error */
x = strtol(argv[1], NULL, 10);
Alternatively, if you're using C99 or better you could explore strtoimax
.
Just to add this to the list:
Uri.EscapeUriString("Hi there+Hello there") // Hi%20there+Hello%20there
Uri.EscapeDataString("Hi there+Hello there") // Hi%20there%2BHello%20there
See https://stackoverflow.com/a/34189188/98491
Usually you want to use EscapeDataString
which does it right.

Sub Results2()
Dim rCell As Range
Dim shSource As Worksheet
Dim shDest As Worksheet
Dim lCnt As Long
Set shSource = ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1")
Set shDest = ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet2")
For Each rCell In shSource.Range("A1", shSource.Cells(shSource.Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp)).Cells
lCnt = lCnt + 1
shDest.Range("A4").Offset(0, lCnt * 4).Formula = "=" & rCell.Address(False, False, , True) & "+" & rCell.Offset(0, 1).Address(False, False, , True)
Next rCell
End Sub
This loops through column A of sheet1 and creates a formula in sheet2 for every cell. To find the last cell in Sheet1, I start at the bottom (shSource.Rows.Count) and .End(xlUp) to get the last cell in the column that's not blank.
To create the elements of the formula, I use the Address property of the cell on Sheet. I'm using three of the arguments to Address. The first two are RowAbsolute and ColumnAbsolute, both set to false. I don't care about the third argument, but I set the fourth argument (External) to True so that it includes the sheet name.
I prefer to go from Source to Destination rather than the other way. But that's just a personal preference. If you want to work from the destination,
Sub Results3()
Dim i As Long, lCnt As Long
Dim sh As Worksheet
lCnt = Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Columns(1))
Set sh = ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet2")
Const sSOURCE As String = "Sheet1!"
For i = 1 To lCnt
sh.Range("A1").Offset(0, 4 * (i - 1)).Formula = "=" & sSOURCE & "A" & i & " + " & sSOURCE & "B" & i
Next i
End Sub

as of 12.03.2019 FusionTables is no more...
Import the Shapefile into Google FusionTables ( http://www.google.com/fusiontables ) using http://www.shpescape.com/ and from there you can use the data in a number of ways, eg. display it using GoogleMaps.
I guess you're missing the ENCLOSED BY clause
LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE '/path/to/your/csv/file/model.csv'
INTO TABLE test.dummy FIELDS TERMINATED BY ','
ENCLOSED BY '"' LINES TERMINATED BY '\n';
And specify the csv file full path
With a recent nightly, you can do this:
let my_int = from_str::<int>(&*my_string);
What's happening here is that String
can now be dereferenced into a str
. However, the function wants an &str
, so we have to borrow again. For reference, I believe this particular pattern (&*
) is called "cross-borrowing".
If there were just one header line in the first record, then the most efficient way to filter it out would be:
rdd.mapPartitionsWithIndex {
(idx, iter) => if (idx == 0) iter.drop(1) else iter
}
This doesn't help if of course there are many files with many header lines inside. You can union three RDDs you make this way, indeed.
You could also just write a filter
that matches only a line that could be a header. This is quite simple, but less efficient.
Python equivalent:
from itertools import islice
rdd.mapPartitionsWithIndex(
lambda idx, it: islice(it, 1, None) if idx == 0 else it
)
How I work to automate Office / Excel:
var arr_select_val=[];
$("select").each(function() {
var name=this.name;
arr_select_val[name]=$('select option:first-child').val();
});
// Process the array object
$('.orders_status_summary_div').print(arr_select_val);
I commonly like to use a slight variant on the standard for loop. I often use this to run a command on a series of remote hosts. I take advantage of bash's brace expansion to create for loops that allow me to create non-numerical for-loops.
Example:
I want to run the uptime command on frontend hosts 1-5 and backend hosts 1-3:
% for host in {frontend{1..5},backend{1..3}}.mycompany.com
do ssh $host "echo -n $host; uptime"
done
I typically run this as a single-line command with semicolons on the ends of the lines instead of the more readable version above. The key usage consideration are that braces allow you to specify multiple values to be inserted into a string (e.g. pre{foo,bar}post results in prefoopost, prebarpost) and allow counting/sequences by using the double periods (you can use a..z etc.). However, the double period syntax is a new feature of bash 3.0; earlier versions will not support this.
I had the same error today, with XCode 6.1
What I found was that, no matter what I tried, I couldn't get XCode to stop complaining about this Provisioning Profile with a GUID as its name.
The solution was to search for this GUID in the .pbxproj file, which lives within the XCode .xcodeproj folder.
Just find the line containing your GUID:
PROVISIONING_PROFILE = "A9234343-.....34"
and change it to:
PROVISIONING_PROFILE = ""
One other thing to check: Your XCode PROJECT settings contain your Provisioning Profile & Code Signing settings, but, there is a second set under your project's "TARGETS" tab.
So, if XCode is complaining about a Provisioning Profile which isn't the one quoted in your project settings, then go have have a look at the settings shown under "TARGETS" in your XCode project.
(I wish someone had given me this advice, 4 painful hours ago..)
With jQuery its just: $(this).blur();
You can use either jQuery Autocomplete or ASP.NET AJAX Toolkit Autocomplete
Here's a slightly different way:
SELECT *
FROM UserProfile
WHERE PropertydefinitionID in (40, 53)
AND (LEN(ISNULL(PropertyValue,'')) = 0)
As a recorded macro.
range("A:A, B:B, D:D, E:E, G:G, H:H").select
Not my code, but I think it's pretty nicely written. It allows to check by the key as well as by the Object element itself and handles both the On Error method and iterating through all Collection elements.
https://danwagner.co/how-to-check-if-a-collection-contains-an-object/
I'll not copy the full explanation since it is available on the linked page. Solution itself copied in case the page eventually becomes unavailable in the future.
The doubt I have about the code is the overusage of GoTo in the first If block but that's easy to fix for anyone so I'm leaving the original code as it is.

The easiest way to convert an ISO-8859-1 string to UTF-8 string.
private static String convertIsoToUTF8(String example) throws UnsupportedEncodingException {
return new String(example.getBytes("ISO-8859-1"), "utf-8");
}
If we want to convert an UTF-8 string to ISO-8859-1 string.
private static String convertUTF8ToISO(String example) throws UnsupportedEncodingException {
return new String(example.getBytes("utf-8"), "ISO-8859-1");
}
Moreover, a method that converts an ISO-8859-1 string to UTF-8 string without using the constructor of class String.
public static String convertISO_to_UTF8_personal(String strISO_8859_1) {
String res = "";
int i = 0;
for (i = 0; i < strISO_8859_1.length() - 1; i++) {
char ch = strISO_8859_1.charAt(i);
char chNext = strISO_8859_1.charAt(i + 1);
if (ch <= 127) {
res += ch;
} else if (ch == 194 && chNext >= 128 && chNext <= 191) {
res += chNext;
} else if(ch == 195 && chNext >= 128 && chNext <= 191){
int resNum = chNext + 64;
res += (char) resNum;
} else if(ch == 194){
res += (char) 173;
} else if(ch == 195){
res += (char) 224;
}
}
char ch = strISO_8859_1.charAt(i);
if (ch <= 127 ){
res += ch;
}
return res;
}
}
That method is based on enconding utf-8 to iso-8859-1 of this website. Encoding utf-8 to iso-8859-1
This may do the trick:
import sys
if sys.version_info[0] > 2:
# py3k
pass
else:
# py2
import codecs
import warnings
def open(file, mode='r', buffering=-1, encoding=None,
errors=None, newline=None, closefd=True, opener=None):
if newline is not None:
warnings.warn('newline is not supported in py2')
if not closefd:
warnings.warn('closefd is not supported in py2')
if opener is not None:
warnings.warn('opener is not supported in py2')
return codecs.open(filename=file, mode=mode, encoding=encoding,
errors=errors, buffering=buffering)
Then you can keep you code in the python3 way.
Note that some APIs like newline
, closefd
, opener
do not work

We put together Web Services on Windows Server and were trying to connect with PHP on Apache. We got the same error. The issue ended up being different versions of the Soap client on the different servers. Matching the SOAP versions in the options on both servers solved the issue in our case.
This is working for me on Centos
First: in file /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
add
Listen 8079
after
Listen 80
This till your server to listen to the port 8079
Second: go to your virtual host for ex. /etc/httpd/conf.d/vhost.conf
and add this code below
<VirtualHost *:8079>
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/api_folder
ServerName example.com
ServerAlias www.example.com
ServerAdmin [email protected]
ErrorLog logs/www.example.com-error_log
CustomLog logs/www.example.com-access_log common
</VirtualHost>
This mean when you go to your www.example.com:8079
redirect to
/var/www/html/api_folder
But you need first to restart the service
sudo service httpd restart
First of all, install the prerequisite libraries:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install git-core curl zlib1g-dev build-essential libssl-dev libreadline-dev libyaml-dev libsqlite3-dev sqlite3 libxml2-dev libxslt1-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev python-software-properties libffi-dev
Then install rbenv, which is used to install Ruby:
cd
git clone https://github.com/rbenv/rbenv.git ~/.rbenv
echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.rbenv/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.bashrc
echo 'eval "$(rbenv init -)"' >> ~/.bashrc
exec $SHELL
git clone https://github.com/rbenv/ruby-build.git ~/.rbenv/plugins/ruby-build
echo 'export PATH="$HOME/.rbenv/plugins/ruby-build/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.bashrc
exec $SHELL
rbenv install 2.3.1
rbenv global 2.3.1
ruby -v
Then (optional) tell Rubygems to not install local documentation:
echo "gem: --no-ri --no-rdoc" > ~/.gemrc

{{{<br />}}}
EDIT (Feb 5 2017): As @hitautodestruct points out, in vue 2 you should use v-html instead of triple curly braces.
HTML4 specification states that:
Inline elements may contain only data and other inline elements
Span is an inline element, therefore having span inside span is valid. There's a related question: Can <span> tags have any type of tags inside them? which makes it completely clear.
HTML5 specification (including the most current draft of HTML 5.3 dated November 16, 2017) changes terminology, but it's still perfectly valid to place span inside another span.
The image trick is cool but in my tests it was loading before some ajax calls I wanted to be complete.
The proper solution in 2017 is to use a worker (http://caniuse.com/#feat=webworkers).
The worker will look like:
/**
* This function performs a synchronous request
* and returns an object contain informations about the download
* time and size
*/
function measure(filename) {
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
var measure = {};
xhr.open("GET", filename + '?' + (new Date()).getTime(), false);
measure.start = (new Date()).getTime();
xhr.send(null);
measure.end = (new Date()).getTime();
measure.len = parseInt(xhr.getResponseHeader('Content-Length') || 0);
measure.delta = measure.end - measure.start;
return measure;
}
/**
* Requires that we pass a base url to the worker
* The worker will measure the download time needed to get
* a ~0KB and a 100KB.
* It will return a string that serializes this informations as
* pipe separated values
*/
onmessage = function(e) {
measure0 = measure(e.data.base_url + '/test/0.bz2');
measure100 = measure(e.data.base_url + '/test/100K.bz2');
postMessage(
measure0.delta + '|' +
measure0.len + '|' +
measure100.delta + '|' +
measure100.len
);
};
The js file that will invoke the Worker:
var base_url = PORTAL_URL + '/++plone++experimental.bwtools';
if (typeof(Worker) === 'undefined') {
return; // unsupported
}
w = new Worker(base_url + "/scripts/worker.js");
w.postMessage({
base_url: base_url
});
w.onmessage = function(event) {
if (event.data) {
set_cookie(event.data);
}
};
Code taken from a Plone package I wrote:
How to specify the JDK version?
Use any of three ways: (1) Spring Boot feature, or use Maven compiler plugin with either (2) source
& target
or (3) with release
.
<java.version>
is not referenced in the Maven documentation.
It is a Spring Boot specificity.
It allows to set the source and the target java version with the same version such as this one to specify java 1.8 for both :
Feel free to use it if you use Spring Boot.
maven-compiler-plugin
with source
& target
maven-compiler-plugin
or maven.compiler.source
/maven.compiler.target
properties are equivalent.That is indeed :
<plugins>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<source>1.8</source>
<target>1.8</target>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>
is equivalent to :
<properties>
<maven.compiler.source>1.8</maven.compiler.source>
<maven.compiler.target>1.8</maven.compiler.target>
</properties>
according to the Maven documentation of the compiler plugin
since the <source>
and the <target>
elements in the compiler configuration use the properties maven.compiler.source
and maven.compiler.target
if they are defined.
The
-source
argument for the Java compiler.
Default value is:1.6
.
User property is:maven.compiler.source
.
The
-target
argument for the Java compiler.
Default value is:1.6
.
User property is:maven.compiler.target
.
About the default values for source
and target
, note that
since the 3.8.0
of the maven compiler, the default values have changed from 1.5
to 1.6
.
maven-compiler-plugin
with release
instead of source
& target
The maven-compiler-plugin 3.6
and later versions provide a new way :
You could also declare just :
<properties>
<maven.compiler.release>9</maven.compiler.release>
</properties>
But at this time it will not work as the maven-compiler-plugin
default version you use doesn't rely on a recent enough version.
The Maven release
argument conveys release
: a new JVM standard option that we could pass from Java 9 :
Compiles against the public, supported and documented API for a specific VM version.
This way provides a standard way to specify the same version for the source
, the target
and the bootstrap
JVM options.
Note that specifying the bootstrap
is a good practice for cross compilations and it will not hurt if you don't make cross compilations either.
Which is the best way to specify the JDK version?
The first way (<java.version>
) is allowed only if you use Spring Boot.
For Java 8 and below :
About the two other ways : valuing the maven.compiler.source
/maven.compiler.target
properties or using the maven-compiler-plugin
, you can use one or the other. It changes nothing in the facts since finally the two solutions rely on the same properties and the same mechanism : the maven core compiler plugin.
Well, if you don't need to specify other properties or behavior than Java versions in the compiler plugin, using this way makes more sense as this is more concise:
<properties>
<maven.compiler.source>1.8</maven.compiler.source>
<maven.compiler.target>1.8</maven.compiler.target>
</properties>
From Java 9 :
The release
argument (third point) is a way to strongly consider if you want to use the same version for the source and the target.
What happens if the version differs between the JDK in JAVA_HOME and which one specified in the pom.xml?
It is not a problem if the JDK referenced by the JAVA_HOME
is compatible with the version specified in the pom but to ensure a better cross-compilation compatibility think about adding the bootstrap
JVM option with as value the path of the rt.jar
of the target
version.
An important thing to consider is that the source
and the target
version in the Maven configuration should not be superior to the JDK version referenced by the JAVA_HOME
.
A older version of the JDK cannot compile with a more recent version since it doesn't know its specification.
To get information about the source, target and release supported versions according to the used JDK, please refer to java compilation : source, target and release supported versions.
How handle the case of JDK referenced by the JAVA_HOME is not compatible with the java target and/or source versions specified in the pom?
For example, if your JAVA_HOME
refers to a JDK 1.7 and you specify a JDK 1.8 as source and target in the compiler configuration of your pom.xml, it will be a problem because as explained, the JDK 1.7 doesn't know how to compile with.
From its point of view, it is an unknown JDK version since it was released after it.
In this case, you should configure the Maven compiler plugin to specify the JDK in this way :
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<source>1.8</source>
<target>1.8</target>
<compilerVersion>1.8</compilerVersion>
<fork>true</fork>
<executable>D:\jdk1.8\bin\javac</executable>
</configuration>
</plugin>
You could have more details in examples with maven compiler plugin.
It is not asked but cases where that may be more complicated is when you specify source but not target. It may use a different version in target according to the source version. Rules are particular : you can read about them in the Cross-Compilation Options part.
Why the compiler plugin is traced in the output at the execution of the Maven package
goal even if you don't specify it in the pom.xml?
To compile your code and more generally to perform all tasks required for a maven goal, Maven needs tools. So, it uses core Maven plugins (you recognize a core Maven plugin by its groupId
: org.apache.maven.plugins
) to do the required tasks : compiler plugin for compiling classes, test plugin for executing tests, and so for... So, even if you don't declare these plugins, they are bound to the execution of the Maven lifecycle.
At the root dir of your Maven project, you can run the command : mvn help:effective-pom
to get the final pom effectively used. You could see among other information, attached plugins by Maven (specified or not in your pom.xml), with the used version, their configuration and the executed goals for each phase of the lifecycle.
In the output of the mvn help:effective-pom
command, you could see the declaration of these core plugins in the <build><plugins>
element, for example :
...
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-clean-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.5</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>default-clean</id>
<phase>clean</phase>
<goals>
<goal>clean</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-resources-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.6</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>default-testResources</id>
<phase>process-test-resources</phase>
<goals>
<goal>testResources</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
<execution>
<id>default-resources</id>
<phase>process-resources</phase>
<goals>
<goal>resources</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<version>3.1</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>default-compile</id>
<phase>compile</phase>
<goals>
<goal>compile</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
<execution>
<id>default-testCompile</id>
<phase>test-compile</phase>
<goals>
<goal>testCompile</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
...
You can have more information about it in the introduction of the Maven lifeycle in the Maven documentation.
Nevertheless, you can declare these plugins when you want to configure them with other values as default values (for example, you did it when you declared the maven-compiler plugin in your pom.xml to adjust the JDK version to use) or when you want to add some plugin executions not used by default in the Maven lifecycle.
If the "many" model does not justify the creation of a model per-se (not the case here, but it might benefits other people), another alternative would be to rely on specific PostgreSQL data types, via the Django Contrib package
Postgres can deal with Array or JSON data types, and this may be a nice workaround to handle One-To-Many when the many-ies can only be tied to a single entity of the one.
Postgres allows you to access single elements of the array, which means that queries can be really fast, and avoid application-level overheads. And of course, Django implements a cool API to leverage this feature.
It obviously has the disadvantage of not being portable to others database backend, but I thougt it still worth mentionning.
Hope it may help some people looking for ideas.
This will also work:
<Hyperlink Command="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType=ItemsControl},
Path=DataContext.AllowItemCommand}" />
ListView
will inherit its DataContext
from Window
, so it's available at this point, too.
And since ListView
, just like similar controls (e. g. Gridview
, ListBox
, etc.), is a subclass of ItemsControl
, the Binding
for such controls will work perfectly.
Assume we are creating a subsite whose files are in the folder http://site.ru/shop.
Link to home page
href="http://sites.ru/shop/"
Link to the product page
href="http://sites.ru/shop/t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/"
Link from home page to product page
href="t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/"
Link from product page to home page
href="../../"
Although relative URL look shorter than absolute one, but the absolute URLs are more preferable, since a link can be used unchanged on any page of site.
We have considered two extreme cases: "absolutely" absolute and "absolutely" relative URLs. But everything is relative in this world. This also applies to URLs. Every time you say about absolute URL, you should always specify relative to what.
Link to home page
href="//sites.ru/shop/"
Link to product page
href="//sites.ru/shop/t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/"
Google recommends such URL. Now, however, it is generally considered that http:// and https:// are different sites.
I.e. relative to the root folder of the domain.
Link to home page
href="/shop/"
Link to product page
href="/shop/t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/"
It is a good choice if all pages are within the same domain. When you move your site to another domain, you don't have to do a mass replacements of the domain name in the URLs.
The tag <base> specifies the base URL, which is automatically added to all relative links and anchors. The base tag does not affect absolute links. As a base URL we'll specify the home page: <base href="http://sites.ru/shop/">.
Link to home page
href=""
Link to product page
href="t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/"
Now you can move your site not only to any domain, but in any subfolder. Just keep in mind that, although URLs look like relative, in fact they are absolute. Especially pay attention to anchors. To navigate within the current page we have to write href="t-shirts/t-shirt-life-is-good/#comments" not href="#comments". The latter will throw on home page.
For internal links I use base-relative URLs (5). For external links and newsletters I use absolute URLs (1).
This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's good in many cases (though not all).
If you VIM open and there's a name of a file in the buffer, you can put the cursor on that filename and type gf. This opens the file whose name is under the cursor in the same buffer. It's the same as
:e CTRL+r CTRL+w
What you are looking for is probably the Callable<V>
interface in place of Runnable
, and retrieving the value with a Future<V>
object, which also lets you wait until the value has been computed. You can achieve this with an ExecutorService
, which you can get from Executors.newSingleThreadExecutor()
.
public void test() {
int x;
ExecutorService es = Executors.newSingleThreadExecutor();
Future<Integer> result = es.submit(new Callable<Integer>() {
public Integer call() throws Exception {
// the other thread
return 2;
}
});
try {
x = result.get();
} catch (Exception e) {
// failed
}
es.shutdown();
}
I already have this code handling well my cors situation in php:
header( 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin: '.CMSConfig::ALLOW_DOMAIN );
header( 'Access-Control-Allow-Headers: '.CMSConfig::ALLOW_DOMAIN );
header( 'Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true' );
And it was working fine locally and remotely, but not for uploads when remote.
Something happen with apache/php OR my code, I didn't bother to search it, when you request OPTIONS it returns my header with cors rules but with 302 result. Therefore my browser doesn't recognise as an acceptable situation.
What I did, based on @Mark McDonald answer, is just put this code after my header:
if( $_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] === 'OPTIONS' )
{
header("HTTP/1.1 202 Accepted");
exit;
}
Now, when requesting OPTIONS
it will just send the header and 202 result.
For just copying (possibly long) texts to the Windows clipboard, I have found that just piping the output to clip.exe
(including the .exe
file extension) works fine for me. So:
$ echo "Hello World" | clip.exe
lets me paste Hello World
using Ctrl-V anywhere else.
Now that I have posted this, I notice that related question Pipe from clipboard in linux subsytem for windows includes this and a command solution for pasting from the Windows clipboard as well.
If this is your app, if you connect the device to your computer, you can use the "Devices" option on Xcode's "Window" menu and then download the app's data container to your computer. Just select your app from the list of installed apps, and click on the "gear" icon and choose "Download Container".
Once you've downloaded it, right click on the file in the Finder and choose "Show Package Contents".
As suggested before, you can either use:
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
plt.savefig("myfig.png")
For saving whatever IPhython image that you are displaying. Or on a different note (looking from a different angle), if you ever get to work with open cv, or if you have open cv imported, you can go for:
import cv2
cv2.imwrite("myfig.png",image)
But this is just in case if you need to work with Open CV. Otherwise plt.savefig() should be sufficient.
Some few things you must take care if you assign a reference to a new object to exports
and /or modules.exports
:
exports
or module.exports
are of course lost because the exported object will now reference another new oneThis one is obvious, but if you add an exported method at the beginning of an existing module, be sure the native exported object is not referencing another object at the end
exports.method1 = function () {}; // exposed to the original exported object
exports.method2 = function () {}; // exposed to the original exported object
module.exports.method3 = function () {}; // exposed with method1 & method2
var otherAPI = {
// some properties and/or methods
}
exports = otherAPI; // replace the original API (works also with module.exports)
exports
or module.exports
reference a new value, they don't reference to the same object any moreexports = function AConstructor() {}; // override the original exported object
exports.method2 = function () {}; // exposed to the new exported object
// method added to the original exports object which not exposed any more
module.exports.method3 = function () {};
exports
and module.exports
, hard to say which API is exposed (it looks like module.exports
wins)// override the original exported object
module.exports = function AConstructor() {};
// try to override the original exported object
// but module.exports will be exposed instead
exports = function AnotherConstructor() {};

for ubuntu i did this
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
**sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev **
sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev
git diff --name-only --diff-filter=U | xargs git checkout --theirs
Seems to do the job. Note that you have to be cd'ed to the root directory of the git repo to achieve this.

NOTE: @John-Yin's answer is more appropriate considering the changes in the specs.
Yes. There is a differentiation between src and href and they can't be used interchangeably. We use src for replaced elements while href for establishing a relationship between the referencing document and an external resource.
href (Hypertext Reference) attribute specifies the location of a Web resource thus defining a link or relationship between the current element (in case of anchor a
) or current document (in case of link
) and the destination anchor or resource defined by this attribute. When we write:
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" />
The browser understands that this resource is a stylesheet and the processing parsing of the page is not paused (rendering might be paused since the browser needs the style rules to paint and render the page). It is not similar to dumping the contents of the css file inside the style
tag. (Hence it is advisable to use link
rather than @import
for attaching stylesheets to your html document.)
src (Source) attribute just embeds the resource in the current document at the location of the element's definition. For eg. When the browser finds
<script src="script.js"></script>
The loading and processing of the page is paused until this the browser fetches, compiles and executes the file. It is similar to dumping the contents of the js file inside the script
tag. Similar is the case with img
tag. It is an empty tag and the content, that should come inside it, is defined by the src
attribute. The browser pauses the loading until it fetches and loads the image. [so is the case with iframe
]
This is the reason why it is advisable to load all JavaScript files at the bottom (before the </body>
tag)
update : Refer @John-Yin's answer for more info on how it is implemented as per HTML 5 specs.
Use strtol
if you have libc available like the top answer suggests. However if you like custom stuff or are on a microcontroller without libc or so, you may want a slightly optimized version without complex branching.
#include <inttypes.h>
/**
* xtou64
* Take a hex string and convert it to a 64bit number (max 16 hex digits).
* The string must only contain digits and valid hex characters.
*/
uint64_t xtou64(const char *str)
{
uint64_t res = 0;
char c;
while ((c = *str++)) {
char v = (c & 0xF) + (c >> 6) | ((c >> 3) & 0x8);
res = (res << 4) | (uint64_t) v;
}
return res;
}
The bit shifting magic boils down to: Just use the last 4 bits, but if it is an non digit, then also add 9.
You can give this simple jQuery plugin (AnimateScroll) a whirl. It is quite easy to use.
1. Scroll to the top of the page:
$('body').animatescroll();
2. Scroll to an element with ID section-1
:
$('#section-1').animatescroll({easing:'easeInOutBack'});
Disclaimer: I am the author of this plugin.
Andy Lester's response is accurate but I found an important extra step I needed to make to get this to work. In trying to get two profiles set up, one for personal and one for work, my ~/.ssh/config
was roughly as follows:
Host me.github.com
HostName github.com
PreferredAuthentications publickey
IdentityFile ~/.ssh/me_rsa
Host work.github.com
HostName github.com
PreferredAuthentications publickey
IdentityFile ~/.ssh/work_rsa
My work profile didn't take until I did a ssh-add ~/.ssh/work_rsa
. After that connections to github used the correct profile. Previously they defaulted to the first public key.
For Could not open a connection to your authentication agent when using ssh-add

If you intend to load all subclassess of given class which are in the same package, you can do so:
public static List<Class> loadAllSubClasses(Class pClazz) throws IOException, ClassNotFoundException {
ClassLoader classLoader = pClazz.getClassLoader();
assert classLoader != null;
String packageName = pClazz.getPackage().getName();
String dirPath = packageName.replace(".", "/");
Enumeration<URL> srcList = classLoader.getResources(dirPath);
List<Class> subClassList = new ArrayList<>();
while (srcList.hasMoreElements()) {
File dirFile = new File(srcList.nextElement().getFile());
File[] files = dirFile.listFiles();
if (files != null) {
for (File file : files) {
String subClassName = packageName + '.' + file.getName().substring(0, file.getName().length() - 6);
if (! subClassName.equals(pClazz.getName())) {
subClassList.add(Class.forName(subClassName));
}
}
}
}
return subClassList;
}
I use this way in work life: "Forget common loops" in this case and use this combination of "setInterval" includes "setTimeOut"s:
function iAsk(lvl){
var i=0;
var intr =setInterval(function(){ // start the loop
i++; // increment it
if(i>lvl){ // check if the end round reached.
clearInterval(intr);
return;
}
setTimeout(function(){
$(".imag").prop("src",pPng); // do first bla bla bla after 50 millisecond
},50);
setTimeout(function(){
// do another bla bla bla after 100 millisecond.
seq[i-1]=(Math.ceil(Math.random()*4)).toString();
$("#hh").after('<br>'+i + ' : rand= '+(Math.ceil(Math.random()*4)).toString()+' > '+seq[i-1]);
$("#d"+seq[i-1]).prop("src",pGif);
var d =document.getElementById('aud');
d.play();
},100);
setTimeout(function(){
// keep adding bla bla bla till you done :)
$("#d"+seq[i-1]).prop("src",pPng);
},900);
},1000); // loop waiting time must be >= 900 (biggest timeOut for inside actions)
}
PS: Understand that the real behavior of (setTimeOut): they all will start in same time "the three bla bla bla will start counting down in the same moment" so make a different timeout to arrange the execution.
PS 2: the example for timing loop, but for a reaction loops you can use events, promise async await ..

EDIT: My instance is set up with the C# "profile" perhaps it isn't there for other profiles?
I keep coming back to these questions trying to figure out where exactly the data I'm interested in is buried in what is truly a monolithic ErrorRecord structure. Almost all answers give piecemeal instructions on how to pull certain bits of data.
But I've found it immensely helpful to dump the entire object with ConvertTo-Json
so that I can visually see LITERALLY EVERYTHING in a comprehensible layout.

Considering the typical top-level class. Only public and no modifier access modifiers may be used at the top level so you'll either see public or you won't see any access modifier at all.
`static`` is used because you may not have a need to create an actual object at the top level (but sometimes you will want to so you may not always see/use static. There are other reasons why you wouldn't include static too but this is the typical one at the top level.)
void
is used because usually you're not going to be returning a value from the top level (class). (sometimes you'll want to return a value other than NULL
so void may not always be used either especially in the case when you have declared, initialized an object at the top level that you are assigning some value to).

setx path "%PATH%; C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16" /m
This should do the appending to the System Environment Variable Path without any extras added, and keeping the original intact without any loss of data. I have used this command to correct the issue that McAfee's Web Control does to Microsoft's Outlook desktop client.
The quotations are used in the path value because command line sees spaces as a delimiter, and will attempt to execute next value in the command line. The quotations override this behavior and handles everything inside the quotations as a string.
You can use the _getexif()
protected method of a PIL Image.
import PIL.Image
img = PIL.Image.open('img.jpg')
exif_data = img._getexif()
This should give you a dictionary indexed by EXIF numeric tags. If you want the dictionary indexed by the actual EXIF tag name strings, try something like:
import PIL.ExifTags
exif = {
PIL.ExifTags.TAGS[k]: v
for k, v in img._getexif().items()
if k in PIL.ExifTags.TAGS
}
The settings file is never created automatically, you must create it yourself, whether you use embedded or "real" maven.
Create it at the following location <your home folder>/.m2/settings.xml
e.g. C:\Users\YourUserName\.m2\settings.xml
on Windows or /home/YourUserName/.m2/settings.xml
on Linux
Here's an empty skeleton you can use:
<settings xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/SETTINGS/1.0.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/SETTINGS/1.0.0

<localRepository/>
<interactiveMode/>
<usePluginRegistry/>
<offline/>
<pluginGroups/>
<servers/>
<mirrors/>
<proxies/>
<profiles/>
<activeProfiles/>
</settings>
If you use Eclipse to edit it, it will give you auto-completion when editing it.

While I agree with the other answers regarding the RoleManager, I would advice to examine the possibility to implement Authorization through Claims (Expressing Roles as Claims).
Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework.
In claims-aware applications, the role is expressed by a role claim type that should be available in the token. When the IsInRole() method is called, there is a check made to see if the current user has that role.
The role claim type is expressed using the following URI: "http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2008/06/identity/claims/role"
So instead of using the RoleManager, you can "add a user to a role" from the UserManager, doing something like this:
var um = new UserManager();
um.AddClaimAsync(1, new Claim("http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2008/06/identity/claims/role", "administrator"));
With the above lines you have added a role claim with the value "administrator" to the user with the id "1"...
Claims authorization, as suggested by MSFT, can simplify and increase the performance of authentication and authorization processes eliminating some back-end queries every time authorization takes place.
Using Claims you may not need the RoleStore anymore. (AspNetRoles, AspNetUserRoles)
In order to delete the 'native' node.js installation, I have used the method suggested in previous answers sudo npm uninstall npm -g
, with additional sudo rm -rf /usr/local/lib/node /usr/local/lib/node_modules /var/db/receipts/org.nodejs.*
.
BUT, I had to also delete the following two directories:
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/include/node /Users/$USER/.npm
Only after that I could install node.js with Homebrew.
Have a look at glob() or the recursive directory iterator.
Perhaps a contrived "real world" example would help.
At my place of work we have rubbish bins that come in different flavours. All bins contain rubbish, but some bins are specialist and do not take all types of rubbish. So we have Bin<CupRubbish>
and Bin<RecylcableRubbish>
. The type system needs to make sure I can't put my HalfEatenSandwichRubbish
into either of these types, but it can go into a general rubbish bin Bin<Rubbish>
. If I wanted to talk about a Bin
of Rubbish
which may be specialised so I can't put in incompatible rubbish, then that would be Bin<? extends Rubbish>
.
(Note: ? extends
does not mean read-only. For instance, I can with proper precautions take out a piece of rubbish from a bin of unknown speciality and later put it back in a different place.)
Not sure how much that helps. Pointer-to-pointer in presence of polymorphism isn't entirely obvious.
In fact, if there is no definition of background-color

You can apply click

The following code snippet resolved my issue. Thought this might be useful to others.
var strEnc = this.$.txtSearch.value.replace(/\s/g, "-");_x000D_
strEnc = strEnc.replace(/-/g, " ");
_x000D_
Rather using default encodeURIComponent
my first line of code is converting all spaces
into hyphens
using regex pattern /\s\g
and the following line just does the reverse, i.e. converts all hyphens
back to spaces
using another regex pattern /-/g
. Here /g
is actually responsible for finding all
matching characters.
When I am sending this value to my Ajax call, it traverses as normal spaces
or simply %20
and thus gets rid of double-encoding
.
Neither isset or property_exists work for me.
I ended up going with:
$exists = array_key_exists($property, get_object_vars($obj));
Example:
class Foo {
public $bar;
function __construct() {
$property = 'bar';
isset($this->$property); // FALSE
property_exists($this, $property); // TRUE
array_key_exists($property, get_object_vars($this)); // TRUE
unset($this->$property);
isset($this->$property); // FALSE
property_exists($this, $property); // TRUE
array_key_exists($property, get_object_vars($this)); // FALSE
$this->$property = 'baz';
isset($this->$property); // TRUE
property_exists($this, $property); // TRUE
array_key_exists($property, get_object_vars($this)); // TRUE
}
}
Use restart: always in your docker compose file.
Docker-compose up -d
will launch container from images again. Use docker-compose start
to start the stopped containers, it never launches new containers from images.
nginx:
restart: always
image: nginx
ports:
- "80:80"
- "443:443" links:
- other_container:other_container
Also you can write the code up in the docker file so that it gets created first, if it has the dependency of other containers.

No way to do this that I know of, although I'm very curious to read if anyone has a good answer. I have been thinking about adding something like this to one of the apps my company builds, but have found no good way to do it.
The one thing I can think of (although not directly on point) is that I believe you can limit the total memory usage for a COM+ application in Windows. It would require the app to be written to run in COM+, of course, but it's the closest way I know of.
The working set stuff is good (Job Objects also control working sets), but that's not total memory usage, only real memory usage (paged in) at any one time. It may work for what you want, but afaik it doesn't limit total allocated memory.
Below snippet execute some code snippet. If you got any error while executing the code snippet, sleep for M milliseconds and retry. Reference link.
public void retryAndExecuteErrorProneCode(int noOfTimesToRetry, CodeSnippet codeSnippet, int sleepTimeInMillis)
throws InterruptedException {
int currentExecutionCount = 0;
boolean codeExecuted = false;
while (currentExecutionCount < noOfTimesToRetry) {
try {
codeSnippet.errorProneCode();
System.out.println("Code executed successfully!!!!");
codeExecuted = true;
break;
} catch (Exception e) {
// Retry after 100 milliseconds
TimeUnit.MILLISECONDS.sleep(sleepTimeInMillis);
System.out.println(e.getMessage());
} finally {
currentExecutionCount++;
}
}
if (!codeExecuted)
throw new RuntimeException("Can't execute the code within given retries : " + noOfTimesToRetry);
}
I wouldn't push regular code into an exception block. Just check whether any rows exist that meet your condition, and proceed from there:
declare
any_rows_found number;
begin
select count(*)
into any_rows_found
from my_table
where rownum = 1 and
... other conditions ...
if any_rows_found = 1 then
...
else
...
end if;
I know this is an old thread but I was also looking for a similar solution and decided to go with the solution @Doku-so provided. I'm commenting to answer the question asked by @Imran Rizvi , I followed @Doku-so link that shows a similar implementation. @Imran Rizvi's question was that he was getting an error using the provided solution 'Cannot convert Lambda expression to Type 'Expression> [] ' because it is not a delegate type'. I wanted to offer a small modification I made to @Doku-so's solution that fixes this error in case anyone else comes across this post and decides to use @Doku-so's solution.
The issue is the second argument in the Update method,
public int Update(T entity, Expression<Func<T, object>>[] properties).
To call this method using the syntax provided...
Update(Model, d=>d.Name, d=>d.SecondProperty, d=>d.AndSoOn);
You must add the 'params' keyword in front of the second arugment as so.
public int Update(T entity, params Expression<Func<T, object>>[] properties)
or if you don't want to change the method signature then to call the Update method you need to add the 'new' keyword, specify the size of the array, then finally use the collection object initializer syntax for each property to update as seen below.
Update(Model, new Expression<Func<T, object>>[3] { d=>d.Name }, { d=>d.SecondProperty }, { d=>d.AndSoOn });
In @Doku-so's example he is specifying an array of Expressions so you must pass the properties to update in an array, because of the array you must also specify the size of the array. To avoid this you could also change the expression argument to use IEnumerable instead of an array.
Here is my implementation of @Doku-so's solution.
public int Update<TEntity>(LcmsEntities dataContext, DbEntityEntry<TEntity> entityEntry, params Expression<Func<TEntity, object>>[] properties)
where TEntity: class
{
entityEntry.State = System.Data.Entity.EntityState.Unchanged;
properties.ToList()
.ForEach((property) =>
{
var propertyName = string.Empty;
var bodyExpression = property.Body;
if (bodyExpression.NodeType == ExpressionType.Convert
&& bodyExpression is UnaryExpression)
{
Expression operand = ((UnaryExpression)property.Body).Operand;
propertyName = ((MemberExpression)operand).Member.Name;
}
else
{
propertyName = System.Web.Mvc.ExpressionHelper.GetExpressionText(property);
}
entityEntry.Property(propertyName).IsModified = true;
});
dataContext.Configuration.ValidateOnSaveEnabled = false;
return dataContext.SaveChanges();
}
Usage:
this.Update<Contact>(context, context.Entry(modifiedContact), c => c.Active, c => c.ContactTypeId);
@Doku-so provided a cool approach using generic's, I used the concept to solve my issue but you just can't use @Doku-so's solution as is and in both this post and the linked post no one answered the usage error questions.
There is function in modern JavaScript (ECMAScript 5) called Object.keys
performing this operation:
var obj = { "a" : 1, "b" : 2, "c" : 3};
alert(Object.keys(obj)); // will output ["a", "b", "c"]
Compatibility details can be found here.
On the Mozilla site there is also a snippet for backward compatibility:
if(!Object.keys) Object.keys = function(o){
if (o !== Object(o))
throw new TypeError('Object.keys called on non-object');
var ret=[],p;
for(p in o) if(Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call(o,p)) ret.push(p);
return ret;
}
Create an empty string or a pre-fix if require:
myStr = "OID-"
Use this code to populate the string with random numbers:
begin; n = ((rand * 43) + 47).ceil; myStr << n.chr if !(58..64).include?(n); end while(myStr.length < 12)
Notes:
(rand * 43) + 47).ceil
It will generate random numbers from 48-91 (0,1,2..Y,Z)
!(58..64).include?(n)
It is used to skip special characters (as I am not interested to include them)
while(myStr.length < 12)
It will generate total 12 characters long string including prefix.
Sample Output:
"OID-XZ2J32XM"
Actually Java supports 4 methods to parse XML out of the box:
DOM Parser/Builder: The whole XML structure is loaded into memory and you can use the well known DOM methods to work with it. DOM also allows you to write to the document with Xslt transformations. Example:
public static void parse() throws ParserConfigurationException, IOException, SAXException {
DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
factory.setValidating(true);
factory.setIgnoringElementContentWhitespace(true);
DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
File file = new File("test.xml");
Document doc = builder.parse(file);
// Do something with the document here.
}
SAX Parser: Solely to read a XML document. The Sax parser runs through the document and calls callback methods of the user. There are methods for start/end of a document, element and so on. They're defined in org.xml.sax.ContentHandler and there's an empty helper class DefaultHandler.
public static void parse() throws ParserConfigurationException, SAXException {
SAXParserFactory factory = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
factory.setValidating(true);
SAXParser saxParser = factory.newSAXParser();
File file = new File("test.xml");
saxParser.parse(file, new ElementHandler()); // specify handler
}
StAx Reader/Writer: This works with a datastream oriented interface. The program asks for the next element when it's ready just like a cursor/iterator. You can also create documents with it. Read document:
public static void parse() throws XMLStreamException, IOException {
try (FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream("test.xml")) {
XMLInputFactory xmlInFact = XMLInputFactory.newInstance();
XMLStreamReader reader = xmlInFact.createXMLStreamReader(fis);
while(reader.hasNext()) {
reader.next(); // do something here
}
}
}
Write document:
public static void parse() throws XMLStreamException, IOException {
try (FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream("test.xml")){
XMLOutputFactory xmlOutFact = XMLOutputFactory.newInstance();
XMLStreamWriter writer = xmlOutFact.createXMLStreamWriter(fos);
writer.writeStartDocument();
writer.writeStartElement("test");
// write stuff
writer.writeEndElement();
}
}
JAXB: The newest implementation to read XML documents: Is part of Java 6 in v2. This allows us to serialize java objects from a document. You read the document with a class that implements a interface to javax.xml.bind.Unmarshaller (you get a class for this from JAXBContext.newInstance). The context has to be initialized with the used classes, but you just have to specify the root classes and don't have to worry about static referenced classes. You use annotations to specify which classes should be elements (@XmlRootElement) and which fields are elements(@XmlElement) or attributes (@XmlAttribute, what a surprise!)
public static void parse() throws JAXBException, IOException {
try (FileInputStream adrFile = new FileInputStream("test")) {
JAXBContext ctx = JAXBContext.newInstance(RootElementClass.class);
Unmarshaller um = ctx.createUnmarshaller();
RootElementClass rootElement = (RootElementClass) um.unmarshal(adrFile);
}
}
Write document:
public static void parse(RootElementClass out) throws IOException, JAXBException {
try (FileOutputStream adrFile = new FileOutputStream("test.xml")) {
JAXBContext ctx = JAXBContext.newInstance(RootElementClass.class);
Marshaller ma = ctx.createMarshaller();
ma.marshal(out, adrFile);
}
}
Examples shamelessly copied from some old lecture slides ;-)
Edit: About "which API should I use?". Well it depends - not all APIs have the same capabilities as you see, but if you have control over the classes you use to map the XML document JAXB is my personal favorite, really elegant and simple solution (though I haven't used it for really large documents, it could get a bit complex). SAX is pretty easy to use too and just stay away from DOM if you don't have a really good reason to use it - old, clunky API in my opinion. I don't think there are any modern 3rd party libraries that feature anything especially useful that's missing from the STL and the standard libraries have the usual advantages of being extremely well tested, documented and stable.
You want to restrict to input fields that are of type text so use the selector input[type=text]
rather than input
(which will apply to all input fields (e.g. those of type submit as well)).
Try this:
Import-Module Webadministration
Get-ChildItem -Path IIS:\Sites
It should return something that looks like this:
Name ID State Physical Path Bindings
---- -- ----- ------------- --------
ChristophersWeb 22 Started C:\temp http *:8080:ChristophersWebsite.ChDom.com
From here you can refine results, but be careful. A pipe to the select statement will not give you what you need. Based on your requirements I would build a custom object or hashtable.
From the console in Chrome, you can do console.log(data_to_be_displayed)
.
Once you declare the type of a variable, you don't need to cast it to that same type. So you can write a=&b;
. Finally, you declared c
incorrectly. Since you assign it to be the address of a
, where a
is a pointer to int
, you must declare it to be a pointer to a pointer to int
.
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
int b=10;
int *a=&b;
int **c=&a;
printf("%d", **c);
return 0;
}
let fullName : String = "Steve.Jobs"
let fullNameArr : [String] = fullName.components(separatedBy: ".")
var firstName : String = fullNameArr[0]
var lastName : String = fullNameArr[1]
Problem solved, I've not added the index.html. Which is point out in the web.xml
Note: a project may have more than one web.xml file.
if there are another web.xml in
src/main/webapp/WEB-INF
Then you might need to add another index (this time index.jsp) to
src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/pages/
From the Bootstrap documentation:
Set an element to
display: block
and center viamargin
. Available as a mixin and class.
<div class="center-block">...</div>
Deleting the index will delete the mapping and type along. you can delete all rows by the following query
curl -XDELETE 'localhost:9200/twitter/tweet/_query?pretty' -d'
{
"query": {
"match_all":
}
}'
However for above query you need to install delete-by-query plugin as of Elasticsearch's 2.0.0-beta1 delete-by-query was removed from main api
Install delete-by-query plugin
sudo bin/plugin install delete-by-query

I think you're confused because you're running from the REPL, which automatically prints out the value returned when you call a function. In that case, you do get identical output whether you have a function that creates a value, prints it, and throws it away, or you have a function that creates a value and returns it, letting the REPL print it.
However, these are very much not the same thing, as you will realize when you call autoparts with another function that wants to do something with the value that autoparts creates.
An RPC style web service uses the names of the method and its parameters to generate XML structures representing a method’s call stack. Document style indicates the SOAP body contains an XML document which can be validated against pre-defined XML schema document.
A good starting point : SOAP Binding: Difference between Document and RPC Style Web Services
In Rails:
"kirk douglas".titleize => "Kirk Douglas"
#this also works for 'kirk_douglas'
w/o Rails:
"kirk douglas".split(/ |\_/).map(&:capitalize).join(" ")
#OBJECT IT OUT
def titleize(str)
str.split(/ |\_/).map(&:capitalize).join(" ")
end
#OR MONKEY PATCH IT
class String
def titleize
self.split(/ |\_/).map(&:capitalize).join(" ")
end
end
w/o Rails (load rails's ActiveSupport to patch #titleize method to String
)
require 'active_support/core_ext'
"kirk douglas".titleize #=> "Kirk Douglas"
Rails's titleize
will convert things like dashes and underscores into spaces and can produce other unexpected results, especially with case-sensitive situations as pointed out by @JamesMcMahon:
"hEy lOok".titleize #=> "H Ey Lo Ok"
because it is meant to handle camel-cased code like:
"kirkDouglas".titleize #=> "Kirk Douglas"
To deal with this edge case you could clean your string with #downcase
first before running #titleize. Of course if you do that you will wipe out any camelCased word separations:
"kirkDouglas".downcase.titleize #=> "Kirkdouglas"
Nice! Very slick.
I was disappointed that Excel doesn't let us paste to a merged cell and also pastes results containing a break into successive rows below the "target" cell though, as that meant it simply doesn't work for me. I tried a few tweaks (unmerge/remerge, etc.) but then Excel dropped anything below a break, so that was a dead end.
Ultimately, I came up with a routine that'll handle simple tags and not use the "native" Unicode converter that is causing the issue with merged fields. Hope others find this useful:
Public Sub AddHTMLFormattedText(rngA As Range, strHTML As String, Optional blnShowBadHTMLWarning As Boolean = False)

Note this doesn't care about tag nesting, instead only requiring a close tag for every open tag, and assuming the close tag nearest the opening tag applies to the opening tag. Properly nested tags will work fine, while improperly nested tags will not be rejected and may or may not work.
It's possible, use the structure below:
<li><a><span></span></a></li>
<li><a><span></span></a></li>
etc...
Where the <li>
contains an <a>
anchor tag that contains a span as shown above. Then insert the following css:
position: relative;
<a>
tag a height
, width
<span>
width
& height
to 100%, so that both <a>
and <span>
have same dimensions<a>
and <span>
get position: relative;
.<a>
tag will have the 'OFF' background-position
, and the <span>
will have the 'ON' background-poisiton
.<span>
:hover
state use opacity 1 for <span>
-webkit
or -moz
transition on the <span>
elementYou'll have the ability to use the transition effect while still defaulting to the old background-position
swap. Don't forget to insert IE alpha filter.
For those who use Spring framework there is a useful StreamUtils class:
StreamUtils.copy(in, out);
The above does not close the streams. If you want the streams closed after the copy, use FileCopyUtils class instead:
FileCopyUtils.copy(in, out);
I was able to solve "ORA-00604: error" by Droping with purge.
DROP TABLE tablename PURGE
You could use sed,
sed 's/.\{4\}$//' <<< "$var"
EXample:
$ var="some string.rtf"
$ var1=$(sed 's/.\{4\}$//' <<< "$var")
$ echo $var1
some string
I know I'm late to the party, but I thought I would provide an answer here for people who need to horizontally position an absolute item, when you don't know its exact width.
Try this:
// Horizontal example.
div#thing {
position: absolute;
left: 50%;
transform: translateX(-50%);
}
The same technique can also be applied, for when you might need vertical alignment, simply by adjusting the properties like so:
// Vertical example.
div#thing {
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
transform: translateY(-50%);
}
True
is 1
in Python, and likewise False
is 0
*:
>>> True == 1
True
>>> False == 0
True
You should be able to perform any operations you want on them by just treating them as though they were numbers, as they are numbers:
>>> issubclass(bool, int)
True
>>> True * 5
5
So to answer your question, no work necessary - you already have what you are looking for.
* Note I use is as an English word, not the Python keyword is
- True
will not be the same object as any random 1
.
your column value is already in database table it means your table column is Unique you should change your value and try again
also you can reimplement protected member QWidget::closeEvent()
void YourWidgetWithXButton::closeEvent(QCloseEvent *event)
{
// do what you need here
// then call parent's procedure
QWidget::closeEvent(event);
}
SQL Server 2008 databases are version 655. SQL Server 2008 R2 databases are 661. You are trying to attach an 2008 R2 database (v. 661) to an 2008 instance and this is not supported. Once the database has been upgraded to an 2008 R2 version, it cannot be downgraded. You'll have to either upgrade your 2008 SP2 instance to R2, or you have to copy out the data in that database into an 2008 database (eg using the data migration wizard, or something equivalent).
The message is misleading, to say the least, it says 662 because SQL Server 2008 SP2 does support 662 as a database version, this is when 15000 partitions are enabled in the database, see Support for 15000 Partitions.docx. Enabling the support bumps the DB version to 662, disabling it moves it back to 655. But SQL Server 2008 SP2 does not support 661 (the R2 version).
You need to choose a Property to sort by and pass it as a lambda expression to OrderByDescending
like:
.OrderByDescending(x => x.Delivery.SubmissionDate);
Really, though the first version of your LINQ statement should work. Is t.Delivery.SubmissionDate
actually populated with valid dates?
I can see some people have asked, so on OSX you can still go to navigate->test or use cmd+shift+T
Remember you have to be focused in the class for this to work
In .NET Framework 4 and MVC this is the only representation that worked:
Replace(@"""","")
Using a backslash in whatever combination did not work...
Thanks to the way you can index and subset a pandas dataframe, a very easy way to extract a single column from a csv file into a variable is:
myVar = pd.read_csv('YourPath', sep = ",")['ColumnName']
A few things to consider:
The snippet above will produce a pandas Series
and not dataframe
.
The suggestion from ayhan with usecols
will also be faster if speed is an issue.
Testing the two different approaches using %timeit
on a 2122 KB sized csv file yields 22.8 ms
for the usecols approach and 53 ms
for my suggested approach.
And don't forget import pandas as pd
Redis does not support having TTL
on hashes other than the top key, which would expire the whole hash. If you are using a sharded cluster, there is another approach you could use. This approach could not be useful in all scenarios and the performance characteristics might differ from the expected ones. Still worth mentioning:
When having a hash, the structure basically looks like:
hash_top_key
- child_key_1 -> some_value
- child_key_2 -> some_value
...
- child_key_n -> some_value
Since we want to add TTL
to the child keys, we can move them to top keys. The main point is that the key now should be a combination of hash_top_key
and child key:
{hash_top_key}child_key_1 -> some_value
{hash_top_key}child_key_2 -> some_value
...
{hash_top_key}child_key_n -> some_value
We are using the {}
notation on purpose. This allows all those keys to fall in the same hash slot
. You can read more about it here: https://redis.io/topics/cluster-tutorial
Now if we want to do the same operation of hashes, we could do:
HDEL hash_top_key child_key_1 => DEL {hash_top_key}child_key_1
HGET hash_top_key child_key_1 => GET {hash_top_key}child_key_1
HSET hash_top_key child_key_1 some_value => SET {hash_top_key}child_key_1 some_value [some_TTL]
HGETALL hash_top_key =>
keyslot = CLUSTER KEYSLOT {hash_top_key}
keys = CLUSTER GETKEYSINSLOT keyslot n
MGET keys
The interesting one here is HGETALL
. First we get the hash slot
for all our children keys. Then we get the keys for that particular hash slot
and finally we retrieve the values. We need to be careful here since there could be more than n
keys for that hash slot
and also there could be keys that we are not interested in but they have the same hash slot
. We could actually write a Lua
script to do those steps in the server by executing an EVAL
or EVALSHA
command. Again, you need to take into consideration the performance of this approach for your particular scenario.

Use "External data" from Excel. It can use ODBC connection to fetch data from external source: Data/Get External Data/New Database Query
That way, even if the data in the database changes, you can easily refresh.

Same here, apparently my /usr/local folder was world writable so I made it 755

It also appeared that a Hauwei mobile dongle I had used had installed world writeable directories in /usr/local as well
Python has a built in min
function to help you with finding the smallest.
However, you need to convert your list items to numbers before you can find the lowest integer( what, isn't that float? )
min(float(i) for i in l)
I figured this out, it was just a naming conflict issue: if you use TheBackground instead of Background it works as posted in the first example. The property Background was interfering with the Window property background.
You can do this using the splat operator:
some_func(*params)
This causes the function to receive each list item as a separate parameter. There's a description here: http://docs.python.org/tutorial/controlflow.html#unpacking-argument-lists
Turn off your firewall for port 80 from any address. Turn off 443 if you need https (SSL) access. Open the configuration file (http.conf

Allow from all
Restart the wampserver. It will now work. Enjoy!!
This was helpful for me, if you use the
var dir = Directory.GetCurrentDirectory()
the path fill be beyond the current folder, it will incluide this path \bin\debug What I recommend you, is that you can use the
string dir = Directory.GetParent(Directory.GetCurrentDirectory()).Parent.Parent.FullName
then print the dir value and verify the path is giving you
The suggestion from @Dawood is good if that works for you.
If you need more fine-tuning than that, one option is to use padding on the text elements, here's an example: http://jsfiddle.net/panchroma/FtBwe/

@RSC
for me the critical addition in Xcode Version 6.2 (6C86e) is in override func viewDidLoad()
self.input.delegate = self;
Tried getting it to work with the return key for hours till I found your post, RSC. Thank you!
Also, if you want to hide the keyboard if you touch anywhere else on the screen:
override func touchesBegan(touches: NSSet, withEvent event: UIEvent) {
self.view.endEditing(true);
}
I just thought I'd add that if you use :
android:inputType="textMultiLine"
Then the view stops being clickable. I was trying to get multi line textviews in my slide-drawer menu which obviously needs to respond to clicks.
The android:singleLine="false"
worked fine though.
Try:
if (isset($_FILES['uploaded_file']) &&
$_FILES['uploaded_file']['error'] == UPLOAD_ERR_OK) {
$mail->AddAttachment($_FILES['uploaded_file']['tmp_name'],
$_FILES['uploaded_file']['name']);
}
Basic example can also be found here.
The function definition for AddAttachment
is:
public function AddAttachment($path,
$name = '',
$encoding = 'base64',
$type = 'application/octet-stream')
I also had similar issue, after exploring found that testng dependency is causing this issue. After removing the testng dependency from pom (as I dont need it anymore), it started to work fine for me.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.testng</groupId>
<artifactId>testng</artifactId>
<version>6.8</version>
<scope>test</scope>
</dependency>
I had similar issue. I was not able to use value="something"
to display and edit.
I had to use the below command inside my <input>
along withe ng model being declared.
[(ngModel)]=userDataToPass.pinCode
Where I have the list of data in the object userDataToPass
and the item that I need to display and edit is pinCode
.
For the same , I referred to this YouTube video
By default, a batch file will display its command as it runs. The purpose of this first command which @echo off is to turn off this display. The command "echo off" turns off the display for the whole script, except for the "echo off" command itself. The "at" sign "@" in front makes the command apply to itself as well.
You can create a delay using the following example
setInterval(function(){alert("Hello")},3000);
Replace 3000 with # of milliseconds
You can place the content of what you want executed inside the function.

htdocs
is your default document-root directory, so you have to use localhost/index.html
to see that html file. In other words, localhost
is mapped to xampp/htdocs
, so index.html
is at localhost
itself. You can change the location of document root by modifying httpd.conf
and restarting the server.
I came across this question as I was attempting to focus the ChromeVox screen reader to the top of the "screen" after navigating to a new screen in a React single page app. Basically trying to emulate what would happen if this page was loaded by following a link to a new server-rendered web page.
This solution doesn't require any listeners, it uses withRouter()
and the componentDidUpdate()
lifecycle method to trigger a click to focus ChromeVox on the desired element when navigating to a new url path.
I created a "Screen" component which is wrapped around the react-router switch tag which contains all the apps screens.
<Screen>
<Switch>
... add <Route> for each screen here...
</Switch>
</Screen>
Screen.tsx
ComponentNote: This component uses React + TypeScript
import React from 'react'
import { RouteComponentProps, withRouter } from 'react-router'
class Screen extends React.Component<RouteComponentProps> {
public screen = React.createRef<HTMLDivElement>()
public componentDidUpdate = (prevProps: RouteComponentProps) => {
if (this.props.location.pathname !== prevProps.location.pathname) {
// Hack: setTimeout delays click until end of current
// event loop to ensure new screen has mounted.
window.setTimeout(() => {
this.screen.current!.click()
}, 0)
}
}
public render() {
return <div ref={this.screen}>{this.props.children}</div>
}
}
export default withRouter(Screen)
I had tried using focus()
instead of click()
, but click causes ChromeVox to stop reading whatever it is currently reading and start again where I tell it to start.
Advanced note: In this solution, the navigation <nav>
which inside the Screen component and rendered after the <main>
content is visually positioned above the main
using css order: -1;
. So in pseudo code:
<Screen style={{ display: 'flex' }}>
<main>
<nav style={{ order: -1 }}>
<Screen>

You need to define border-width:1px
Your code should read:
$(this).css({"border-color": "#C1E0FF",
"border-width":"1px",
"border-style":"solid"});
You should ideally use a class and addClass/removeClass
$(this).addClass('borderClass');
$(this).removeClass('borderClass');
and in your CSS:
.borderClass{
border-color: #C1E0FF;
border-width:1px;
border-style: solid;
/** OR USE INLINE
border: 1px solid #C1E0FF;
**/
}

This just gives you an example of how it could work, you should get the idea.. There are better ways of doing this most likely.. like using a toggle()
cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'Root'. [7]
Your schemaLocation
attribute on the root element should be xsi:schemaLocation
, and you need to fix it to use the right namespace.
You should probably change the targetNamespace
of the schema and the xmlns
of the document to http://myNameSpace.com
(since namespaces are supposed to be valid URIs, which Test.Namespace
isn't, though urn:Test.Namespace
would be ok). Once you do that it should find the schema. The point is that all three of the schema's target namespace, the document's namespace, and the namespace for which you're giving the schema location must be the same.
(though it still won't validate as your <element2>
contains an <element3>
in the document where the schema expects item
)

Note that you should pass request as a parameter to your delete function in your views. An example would be like:
from django.shortcuts import redirect
def delete(request, id):
YourModelName.objects.filter(id=id).delete()
return redirect('url_name')
Open mysql configuration file named my.cnf and try to find "bind-address", here replace the setting (127.0.0.1 OR localhost) with your live server ip (the ip you are using in mysql_connect function)
This will solve the problem definitely.
Thanks
Sometimes Your rake tasks doesn't get loaded in console, In that case you can try the following commands
require "rake"
YourApp::Application.load_tasks
Rake::Task["Namespace:task"].invoke
