I actually wouldn't recommend using a2enmod for php 5 or 7. I would use update-alternatives. You can do sudo update-alternatives --config php to set which system wide version of PHP you want to use. This makes your command line and apache versions work the same. You can read more about update-alternatives on the man page.

Xcode 4: create IPA file instead of .xcarchive
You will need to Build and Archive your project. You may need to check what code signing settings you have in the project and executable.
Use the Organiser to select your archive version and then you can Share that version of your project. You will need to select the correct code signing again. It will allow you to save the .ipa file where you want.

Upgrading PHP in XAMPP for Windows?
For Upgradation php in Xampp you can follow this steps, Else you can skip these 4 steps and direct install MAMP (for windows as well) from site and here is the direct download link
Step 1: Make backups Before starting, make sure to backup any settings, custom modules and most importantly the htdocs directory, which contains your scripts and page resources. This directory is normally located atC:\xampp\htdocs\
Step 2: Preparation
Download PHP 5.3.0rc2. I use the VC6 build in order to minimise any potential compatibility issues. It is also recommended that you download the latest Windows version of XAMPP. While this is an upgrade guide that shouldwork with previous versions of XAMPP, it is recommended that a fresh copy of the core files is used. Stop any instances of the Apache service that might be running.
Step 3: The upgrade This guide will assume your XAMPP directory is C:\xampp\
Extract the XAMPP archive to a directory of your choosing, I would recommend using the default C:\xampp\ Extract the contents of the PHP archive to C:\xampp\php\, overwriting the contents of this directory with the new files. Open the file C:\xampp\apache\conf\extra\httpd-xampp.conf and ensure the following lines are present in this order:

Your PHPinfo should indicate that the upgrade has been successful. I will update this post if I discover any problems from using this method, or a cleaner (automated) means of performing the upgrade.
Best way to test for a variable's existence in PHP; isset() is clearly broken
Attempting to give an overview of the various discussions and answers:
There is no single answer to the question which can replace all the ways isset can be used. Some use cases are addressed by other functions, while others do not stand up to scrutiny, or have dubious value beyond code golf. Far from being "broken" or "inconsistent", other use cases demonstrate why isset's reaction to null is the logical behaviour.
Real use cases (with solutions)
1. Array keys
Arrays can be treated like collections of variables, with unset and isset treating them as though they were. However, since they can be iterated, counted, etc, a missing value is not the same as one whose value is null.
The answer in this case, is to use array_key_exists() instead of isset().
Since this is takes the array to check as a function argument, PHP will still raise "notices" if the array itself doesn't exist. In some cases, it can validly be argued that each dimension should have been initialised first, so the notice is doing its job. For other cases, a "recursive" array_key_exists function, which checked each dimension of the array in turn, would avoid this, but would basically be the same as @array_key_exists. It is also somewhat tangential to the handling of null values.
2. Object properties
In the traditional theory of "Object-Oriented Programming", encapsulation and polymorphism are key properties of objects; in a class-based OOP implementation like PHP's, the encapsulated properties are declared as part of the class definition, and given access levels (public, protected, or private).
However, PHP also allows you to dynamically add properties to an object, like you would keys to an array, and some people use class-less objects (technically, instances of the built in stdClass, which has no methods or private functionality) in a similar way to associative arrays. This leads to situations where a function may want to know if a particular property has been added to the object given to it.
As with array keys, a solution for checking object properties is included in the language, called, reasonably enough, property_exists.
Non-justifiable use cases, with discussion
3. register_globals, and other pollution of the global namespace
The register_globals feature added variables to the global scope whose names were determined by aspects of the HTTP request (GET and POST parameters, and cookies). This can lead to buggy and insecure code, which is why it has been disabled by default since PHP 4.2, released Aug 2000 and removed completely in PHP 5.4, released Mar 2012. However, it's possible that some systems are still running with this feature enabled or emulated. It's also possible to "pollute" the global namespace in other ways, using the global keyword, or $GLOBALS array.
Firstly, register_globals itself is unlikely to unexpectedly produce a null variable, since the GET, POST, and cookie values will always be strings (with '' still returning true from isset), and variables in the session should be entirely under the programmer's control.
Secondly, pollution of a variable with the value null is only an issue if this over-writes some previous initialization. "Over-writing" an uninitialized variable with null would only be problematic if code somewhere else was distinguishing between the two states, so on its own this possibility is an argument against making such a distinction.
4. get_defined_vars and compact
A few rarely-used functions in PHP, such as get_defined_vars and compact, allow you to treat variable names as though they were keys in an array. For global variables, the super-global array $GLOBALS allows similar access, and is more common. These methods of access will behave differently if a variable is not defined in the relevant scope.
Once you've decided to treat a set of variables as an array using one of these mechanisms, you can do all the same operations on it as on any normal array. Consequently, see 1.
Functionality that existed only to predict how these functions are about to behave (e.g. "will there be a key 'foo' in the array returned by get_defined_vars?") is superfluous, since you can simply run the function and find out with no ill effects.
4a. Variable variables ($$foo)
While not quite the same as functions which turn a set of variables into an associative array, most cases using "variable variables" ("assign to a variable named based on this other variable") can and should be changed to use an associative array instead.
A variable name, fundamentally, is the label given to a value by the programmer; if you're determining it at run-time, it's not really a label but a key in some key-value store. More practically, by not using an array, you are losing the ability to count, iterate, etc; it can also become impossible to have a variable "outside" the key-value store, since it might be over-written by $$foo.
Once changed to use an associative array, the code will be amenable to solution 1. Indirect object property access (e.g. $foo->$property_name) can be addressed with solution 2.
5. isset is so much easier to type than array_key_exists
I'm not sure this is really relevant, but yes, PHP's function names can be pretty long-winded and inconsistent sometimes. Apparently, pre-historic versions of PHP used a function name's length as a hash key, so Rasmus deliberately made up function names like htmlspecialchars so they would have an unusual number of characters...
Still, at least we're not writing Java, eh? ;)
6. Uninitialized variables have a type
The manual page on variable basics includes this statement:
Uninitialized variables have a default value of their type depending on the context in which they are used
I'm not sure whether there is some notion in the Zend Engine of "uninitialized but known type" or whether this is reading too much into the statement.
What is clear is that it makes no practical difference to their behaviour, since the behaviours described on that page for uninitialized variables are identical to the behaviour of a variable whose value is null. To pick one example, both $a and $b in this code will end up as the integer 42:
unset($a);
$a += 42;
$b = null;
$b += 42;
(The first will raise a notice about an undeclared variable, in an attempt to make you write better code, but it won't make any difference to how the code actually runs.)
99. Detecting if a function has run
(Keeping this one last, as it's much longer than the others. Maybe I'll edit it down later...)
Consider the following code:

If some_function can return null, there's a possibility that the echo won't be reached even though some_test returned true. The programmer's intention was to detect when $result had never been set, but PHP does not allow them to do so.
However, there are other problems with this approach, which become clear if you add an outer loop:

Because $result is never initialized explicitly, it will take on a value when the very first test passes, making it impossible to tell whether subsequent tests passed or not. This is actually an extremely common bug when variables aren't initialised properly.
To fix this, we need to do something on the line where I've commented that something's missing. The most obvious solution is to set $result to a "terminal value" that some_function can never return; if this is null, then the rest of the code will work fine. If there is no natural candidate for a terminal value because some_function has an extremely unpredictable return type (which is probably a bad sign in itself), then an additional boolean value, e.g. $found, could be used instead.
Thought experiment one: the very_null constant
PHP could theoretically provide a special constant - as well as null - for use as a terminal value here; presumably, it would be illegal to return this from a function, or it would be coerced to null, and the same would probably apply to passing it in as a function argument. That would make this very specific case slightly simpler, but as soon as you decided to re-factor the code - for instance, to put the inner loop into a separate function - it would become useless. If the constant could be passed between functions, you could not guarantee that some_function would not return it, so it would no longer be useful as a universal terminal value.
The argument for detecting uninitialised variables in this case boils down to the argument for that special constant: if you replace the comment with unset($result), and treat that differently from $result = null, you are introducing a "value" for $result that cannot be passed around, and can only be detected by specific built-in functions.
Thought experiment two: assignment counter
Another way of thinking about what the last if is asking is "has anything made an assignment to $result?" Rather than considering it to be a special value of $result, you could maybe think of this as "metadata" about the variable, a bit like Perl's "variable tainting". So rather than isset you might call it has_been_assigned_to, and rather than unset, reset_assignment_state.
But if so, why stop at a boolean? What if you want to know how many times the test passed; you could simply extend your metadata to an integer and have get_assignment_count and reset_assignment_count...
Obviously, adding such a feature would have a trade-off in complexity and performance of the language, so it would need to be carefully weighed against its expected usefulness. As with a very_null constant, it would be useful only in very narrow circumstances, and would be similarly resistant to re-factoring.
The hopefully-obvious question is why the PHP runtime engine should assume in advance that you want to keep track of such things, rather than leaving you to do it explicitly, using normal code.

Problem is caused by comma at the end of (in your case each) JSON object placed in the array:

Func vs. Action vs. Predicate
The difference between Func and Action is simply whether you want the delegate to return a value (use Func) or not (use Action).
Func is probably most commonly used in LINQ - for example in projections:
list.Select(x => x.SomeProperty)
or filtering:
list.Where(x => x.SomeValue == someOtherValue)
or key selection:
list.Join(otherList, x => x.FirstKey, y => y.SecondKey, ...)
Action is more commonly used for things like List<T>.ForEach: execute the given action for each item in the list. I use this less often than Func, although I do sometimes use the parameterless version for things like Control.BeginInvoke and Dispatcher.BeginInvoke.
Predicate is just a special cased Func<T, bool> really, introduced before all of the Func and most of the Action delegates came along. I suspect that if we'd already had Func and Action in their various guises, Predicate wouldn't have been introduced... although it does impart a certain meaning to the use of the delegate, whereas Func and Action are used for widely disparate purposes.
Predicate is mostly used in List<T> for methods like FindAll and RemoveAll.
Create a nonclustered non-unique index within the CREATE TABLE statement with SQL Server

It's also not possible to insert into a table and select from it and build an index in the same statement either.
The BOL entry contains the information you need:
CLUSTERED | NONCLUSTERED
Indicate that a clustered or a nonclustered index is created for the PRIMARY KEY or UNIQUE constraint. PRIMARY KEY constraints default to CLUSTERED, and UNIQUE constraints default to NONCLUSTERED.In a CREATE TABLE statement, CLUSTERED can be specified for only one constraint. If CLUSTERED is specified for a UNIQUE constraint and a PRIMARY KEY constraint is also specified, the PRIMARY KEY defaults to NONCLUSTERED.
You can create an index on a PK field, but not a non-clustered index on a non-pk non-unique-constrained field.
A NCL index is not relevant to the structure of the table, and is not a constraint on the data inside the table. It's a separate entity that supports the table but is not integral to it's functionality or design.
That's why it's a separate statement. The NCL index is irrelevant to the table from a design perspective (query optimization notwithstanding).
Padding is invalid and cannot be removed?
I had the same problem trying to port a Go program to C#. This means that a lot of data has already been encrypted with the Go program. This data must now be decrypted with C#.
The final solution was PaddingMode.None or rather PaddingMode.Zeros.

A new array is created with an appropriate length, so that the length is a multiple of the block size. This new array is filled with zeros. The copy method then copies the existing data into it. Thus, the C# code can use PaddingMode.Zeros. The alternative PaddingMode.None just ignores any padding, which also works. I hope this answer is helpful for anyone who has to port code from Go to C#, etc.

What should main() return in C and C++?
The accepted answer appears to be targetted for C++, so I thought I'd add an answer that pertains to C, and this differs in a few ways. There were also some changes made between ISO/IEC 9899:1989 (C90) and ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (C99).
main() should be declared as either:
int main(void)
int main(int argc, char **argv)
Or equivalent. For example, int main(int argc, char *argv[]) is equivalent to the second one. In C90, the int return type can be omitted as it is a default, but in C99 and newer, the int return type may not be omitted.
If an implementation permits it, main() can be declared in other ways (e.g., int main(int argc, char *argv[], char *envp[])), but this makes the program implementation defined, and no longer strictly conforming.
The standard defines 3 values for returning that are strictly conforming (that is, does not rely on implementation defined behaviour): 0 and EXIT_SUCCESS for a successful termination, and EXIT_FAILURE for an unsuccessful termination. Any other values are non-standard and implementation defined. In C90, main() must have an explicit return statement at the end to avoid undefined behaviour. In C99 and newer, you may omit the return statement from main(). If you do, and main() finished, there is an implicit return 0.
Finally, there is nothing wrong from a standards point of view with calling main() recursively from a C program.

If you need to calculate the frequency of many series, this could take a while. A faster implementation would be to use numpy.unique with return_counts = True
Here is an example:

The initial question has been posted quite some time ago and in the meantime Debian has made huge headway in the area of multiarch support.
Multiarch is a great achievement for cross compilation!
In a nutshell the following steps are required to leverage multiarch for Raspbian Jessie cross compilation:
- On your Ubuntu host install Debian Jessie amd64 within a chroot or a LXC container.
- Enable the foreign architecture armhf.
- Install the cross compiler from the emdebian tools repository.
- Tweak the cross compiler (it would generate code for ARMv7-A by default) by writing a custom gcc specs file.
- Install armhf libraries (libstdc++ etc.) from the Raspbian repository.
- Build your source code.

First, I put (^|\s+) to make sure it starts with a full word, otherwise "child's steak" would go to "child'steak" (the "s"'s would match). Then, it matches all full words ((\b\S+\b)), followed by an end of string ($) or a number of spaces (\s+), the whole repeated more than once.

You can enable Jetifier on your project, which will basically exchange the Android Support Library dependencies in your project dependencies with AndroidX-ones. (e.g. Your Lottie dependencies will be changed from Support to AnroidX)

What is a C++ delegate?
Windows Runtime equivalent of a function object in standard C++. One can use the whole function as a parameter (actually that is a function pointer). It is mostly used in conjunction with events. Property getters and setters
Setters/getters in Swift are quite different than ObjC. The property becomes a computed property which means it does not have a backing variable such as _x as it would in ObjC.
In the solution code below you can see the xTimesTwo does not store anything, but simply computes the result from x.

How do I write the 'cd' command in a makefile?
It is actually executing the command, changing the directory to some_directory, however, this is performed in a sub-process shell, and affects neither make nor the shell you're working from.
If you're looking to perform more tasks within some_directory, you need to add a semi-colon and append the other commands as well. Note that you cannot use newlines as they are interpreted by make as the end of the rule, so any newlines you use for clarity needs to be escaped by a backslash.
For example:

Note also that the semicolon is necessary between every command even though you add a backslash and a newline. This is due to the fact that the entire string is parsed as a single line by the shell. As noted in the comments, you should use '&&' to join commands, which mean they only get executed if the preceding command was successful.

This is especially crucial when doing destructive work, such as clean-up, as you'll otherwise destroy the wrong stuff, should the cd fail for whatever reason.
A common usage though is to call make in the sub directory, which you might want to look into. There's a command line option for this so you don't have to call cd yourself, so your rule would look like this

$(MAKE) -C some_dir all
which will change into some_dir and execute the Makefile in there with the target "all". As a best practice, use $(MAKE) instead of calling make directly, as it'll take care to call the right make instance (if you, for example, use a special make version for your build environment), as well as provide slightly different behavior when running using certain switches, such as -t.
For the record, make always echos the command it executes (unless explicitly suppressed), even if it has no output, which is what you're seeing.

How to remove files and directories quickly via terminal (bash shell)
Yes, there is. The -r option tells rm to be recursive, and remove the entire file hierarchy rooted at its arguments; in other words, if given a directory, it will remove all of its contents and then perform what is effectively an rmdir.
The other two options you should know are -i and -f. -i stands for interactive; it makes rm prompt you before deleting each and every file. -f stands for force; it goes ahead and deletes everything without asking. -i is safer, but -f is faster; only use it if you're absolutely sure you're deleting the right thing. You can specify these with -r or not; it's an independent setting.
And as usual, you can combine switches: rm -r -i is just rm -ri, and rm -r -f is rm -rf.
Also note that what you're learning applies to bash on every Unix OS: OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, etc. In fact, rm's syntax is the same in pretty much every shell on every Unix OS. OS X, under the hood, is really a BSD Unix system.

npm start is a shortcut for npm run start.

SQL Server Configuration Manager not found
If you don't have any version of SQLServerManagerXX.msc, then you simply do not have it installed. I noticed it does not come with SQL server management studio 2019.

A redirection with < "$FILE" has a few advantages over cat "$FILE" | while .... It avoids a useless use of cat, saving an unnecessary child process. It also avoids a common pitfall where the loop runs in a subshell. In bash, commands in a | pipeline run in subshells, which means variable assignments are lost after the loop ends. Redirection with < doesn't have that problem, so you could use $CMD after the loop or modify other variables inside the loop. It also, again, avoids unnecessary child processes.
There are some additional improvements that could be made:
- Add
IFS=so thatreadwon't trim leading and trailing whitespace from each line. - Add
-rto read to prevent from backslashes from being interpreted as escape sequences. - Lower case

remap is an option that makes mappings work recursively. By default it is on and I'd recommend you leave it that way. The rest are mapping commands, described below:
:map and :noremap are recursive and non-recursive versions of the various mapping commands. For example, if we run:

I got this error when upgrading from Spring boot 1.5.x to 2.1.x. Spring boot ships with its own Mockito, which is now also upgraded to 2.x (see e.g. Dependencies of Spring boot 2.1.2)
Mockito has changed the behavior for the anyXXX() method, where XXX is String, Long, etc. Here is the javadoc of anyLong():

Verbose
Is the lowest level of logging. If you want to go nuts with logging then you go with this level. I never understood when to use Verbose and when to use Debug. The difference sounded to me very arbitrary. I finally understood it once I was pointed to the source code of Android¹ “Verbose should never be compiled into an application except during development.” Now it is clear to me, whenever you are developing and want to add deletable logs that help you during the development it is useful to have the verbose level this will help you delete all these logs before you go into production.
Debug
Is for debugging purposes. This is the lowest level that should be in production. Information that is here is to help during development. Most times you’ll disable this log in production so that less information will be sent and only enable this log if you have a problem. I like to log in debug all the information that the app sends/receives from the server (take care not to log passwords!!!). This is very helpful to understand if the bug lies in the server or the app. I also make logs of entering and exiting of important functions.
Info
For informational messages that highlight the progress of the application. For example, when initialising of the app is finished. Add info when the user moves between activities and fragments. Log each API call but just little information like the URL , status and the response time.
Warning
When there is a potentially harmful situation.
This log is in my experience a tricky level. When do you have a potential harmful situation? In general or that it is OK or that it is an error. I personally don’t use this level much. Examples of when I use it are usually when stuff happens several times. For example, a user has a wrong password more than 3 times. This could be because he entered the password wrongly 3 times, it could also be because there is a problem with a character that isn’t being accepted in our system. Same goes with network connection problems.
Error
Error events. The application can still continue to run after the error. This can be for example when I get a null pointer where I’m not supposed to get one. There was an error parsing the response of the server. Got an error from the server.
WTF (What a Terrible Failure)
Fatal is for severe error events that will lead the application to exit. In Android the fatal is in reality the Error level, the difference is that it also adds the fullstack.

Windows equivalent of $export
There is not an equivalent statement for export in Windows Command Prompt. In Windows the environment is copied so when you exit from the session (from a called command prompt or from an executable that set a variable) the variable in Windows get lost. You can set it in user registry or in machine registry via setx but you won't see it if you not start a new command prompt.

Don't give up. Linux can do it with the right hardware, via "USB Gadgets." And giving the following facts:
- My old Nokia N95 could use it's USB to be a "Mass Storage Device", a "Media Player", "a GSM modem", or to print photos.
- I can plug an iPhone into an iPad via a the Apple USB-Camera passive adapter, and they transfer pictures.
- iPhone can obvious present as a number of things, e.g. when they go into DFU.
Why is all this relevant?
Because if I was writing a linux phone I know what it would do, and how it would do it. And the answer would involve USB Gadgets.
Reading one of the links that was posted here,
It's the Linux kernel, the code is in drivers/usb/gadget/ in the kernel.org tree if you are interested. Android does have a few specific gadget patches that are not in mainline, but it's not all that much. You can see all of this by just checking out their kernel git tree, no need to bother their developers.
I would guess that you would have a shot at it - but it would involve recompiling the android kernel/operating system - or at least having a build environment in which you /could/ rebuild the kernel if you wanted.
BTW, I have an Atmel NGW100mkII, which support USB gadgets, but doesn't ship with the HID module. And I'll be having to do the above and more.
