Every webkit based browser should support the properties -webkit-margin-collapse. There are also subproperties to only set it for the top or bottom margin. You can give it the values collapse (default), discard (sets margin to 0 if there is a neighboring margin), and separate (prevents margin collapse).

I've tested that this works on 2014 versions of Chrome and Safari. Unfortunately, I don't think this would be supported in IE because it's not based on webkit.

Followup note: Make sure that after you've removed the SDK DLL, that the xmlns references are not still pointing to it. The best route to take here is

1. Remove the XAML for the ad
2. Remove the xmlns declaration (usually at the top of the page, but sometimes will be declared in the ad itself)
3. Remove the bad DLL (the one ending in .SDK )
4. Do a Clean and then Build (clean out anything remaining from the DLL)

If you want to tell VSCode to understand your types, do as follows. Please pay attention that js runtime and NodeJS does not care about these types at all.

Solution

1- Create a file with .d.ts ending: e.g: index.d.ts. You can create this file in another folder. for example: types/index.d.ts
2- Suppose we want to have a function called view. Add these lines to index.d.ts:

Identifiers (including column names) that are not double-quoted are folded to lower case in PostgreSQL. Column names that were created with double-quotes and thereby retained upper-case letters (and/or other syntax violations) have to be double-quoted for the rest of their life:

"first_Name"

Values (string literals / constants) are enclosed in single quotes:

'xyz'

So, yes, PostgreSQL column names are case-sensitive (when double-quoted):

SELECT * FROM persons WHERE "first_Name" = 'xyz';

My standing advice is to use legal, lower-case names exclusively so double-quoting is not needed.

For a div-Element you could just set the opacity via a class to enable or disable the effect.

By default, CORS does not include cookies on cross-origin requests. This is different from other cross-origin techniques such as JSON-P. JSON-P always includes cookies with the request, and this behavior can lead to a class of vulnerabilities called cross-site request forgery, or CSRF.

In order to reduce the chance of CSRF vulnerabilities in CORS, CORS requires both the server and the client to acknowledge that it is ok to include cookies on requests. Doing this makes cookies an active decision, rather than something that happens passively without any control.

The client code must set the withCredentials property on the XMLHttpRequest to true in order to give permission.

However, this header alone is not enough. The server must respond with the Access-Control-Allow-Credentials header. Responding with this header to true means that the server allows cookies (or other user credentials) to be included on cross-origin requests.

You also need to make sure your browser isn't blocking third-party cookies if you want cross-origin credentialed requests to work.

Note that regardless of whether you are making same-origin or cross-origin requests, you need to protect your site from CSRF (especially if your request includes cookies).

The short answer: there is no difference.

The long answer: CHARACTER VARYING is the official type name from the ANSI SQL standard, which all compliant databases are required to support. VARCHAR is a shorter alias which all modern databases also support. I prefer VARCHAR because it's shorter and because the longer name feels pedantic. However, postgres tools like pg_dump and \d will output character varying.

Realised that I was using OpenJDK when I saw this error. Fixed it once I installed the Oracle JDK instead.

The SQL WITH clause allows you to give a sub-query block a name (a process also called sub-query refactoring), which can be referenced in several places within the main SQL query. The name assigned to the sub-query is treated as though it was an inline view or table. The SQL WITH clause is basically a drop-in replacement to the normal sub-query.

FYI - I had this issue as well and it turned out that my html listed the .jpg file with a .JPG in caps, but the file itself was lowercase .jpg. That rendered fine locally and using Codekit, but when it was pushed to the web it wouldn't load. Simply changing the file names to have a lowercase .jpg extension to match the html did the trick.

You can solve the negative bearing problem by adding 360°. Unfortunately, this might result in bearings larger than 360° for positive bearings. This is a good candidate for the modulo operator, so all in all you should add the line

Bearing = (Bearing + 360) % 360

at the end of your method.

Use the string concatenation operator:

Strings in .NET are immutable and thus there exist no concept of appending strings. All string modifications causes a new string to be created and returned.

This obviously cause a terrible performance. In common everyday code this isn't an issue, but if you're doing intensive string operations in which time is of the essence then you will benefit from looking into the StringBuilder class. It allow you to queue appends. Once you're done appending you can ask it to actually perform all the queued operations.

I have tested a full layout using flexbox it contains header, footer, main body with left, center and right panels and the panels can contain menu items or footer and headers that should scroll. Pretty complex

IE11 and even IE EDGE have some problems displaying the flex content but it can be overcome. I have tested it in most browsers and it seems to work.

Some fixed i have applies are IE11 height bug, Adding height:100vh and min-height:100% to the html/body. this also helps to not have to set height on container in the dom. Also make the body/html a flex container. Otherwise IE11 will compress the view.

While technically correct, the other answers would benefit from an explanation of Angular's URL-to-route matching. I don't think you can fully (pardon the pun) understand what pathMatch: full does if you don't know how the router works in the first place.

Let's first define a few basic things. We'll use this URL as an example: /users/james/articles?from=134#section.

1. It may be obvious but let's first point out that query parameters (?from=134) and fragments (#section) do not play any role in path matching. Only the base url (/users/james/articles) matters.

2. Angular splits URLs into segments. The segments of /users/james/articles are, of course, users, james and articles.

3. The router configuration is a tree structure with a single root node. Each Route object is a node, which may have children nodes, which may in turn have other children or be leaf nodes.

The goal of the router is to find a router configuration branch, starting at the root node, which would match exactly all (!!!) segments of the URL. This is crucial! If Angular does not find a route configuration branch which could match the whole URL - no more and no less - it will not render anything.

E.g. if your target URL is /a/b/c but the router is only able to match either /a/b or /a/b/c/d, then there is no match and the application will not render anything.

Finally, routes with redirectTo behave slightly differently than regular routes, and it seems to me that they would be the only place where anyone would really ever want to use pathMatch: full. But we will get to this later.

Default (prefix) path matching

The reasoning behind the name prefix is that such a route configuration will check if the configured path is a prefix of the remaining URL segments. However, the router is only able to match full segments, which makes this naming slightly confusing.

Anyway, let's say this is our root-level router configuration:

This strategy means that the router iterates over the whole configuration tree and tries to match it against the target URL segment by segment until the URL is fully matched. Here's how it would be done for this example:

1. Iterate over the root array looking for a an exact match for the first URL segment - users.
2. 'products' !== 'users', so skip that branch. Note that we are using an equality check rather than a .startsWith() or .includes() - only full segment matches count!
3. :other matches any value, so it's a match. However, the target URL is not yet fully matched (we still need to match james and articles), thus the router looks for children.

• The only child of :other is tricks, which is !== 'james', hence not a match.

4. Angular then retraces back to the root array and continues from there.
5. 'user' !== 'users, skip branch.
6. 'users' === 'users - the segment matches. However, this is not a full match yet, thus we need to look for children (same as in step 3).

• 'permissions' !== 'james', skip it.
• :userID matches anything, thus we have a match for the james segment. However this is still not a full match, thus we need to look for a child which would match articles.
  1. We can see that :userID has a child route articles, which gives us a full match! Thus the application renders UserArticlesComponent.

Full URL (full) matching

Example 1

Imagine now that the users route configuration object looked like this:

7. Again, we failed to find any match for the URL and the application renders nothing.

As you may have noticed, a pathMatch: full configuration is basically saying this:

Ignore my children and only match me. If I am not able to match all of the remaining URL segments myself, then move on.

Redirects

Any Route which has defined a redirectTo will be matched against the target URL according to the same principles. The only difference here is that the redirect is applied as soon as a segment matches. This means that if a redirecting route is using the default prefix strategy, a partial match is enough to cause a redirect. Here's a good example:

Empty path (path: '')

The empty path is a bit of a special case because it can match any segment without "consuming" it (so it's children would have to match that segment again). Consider this example:

2. path: '' matches the empty segment. It has a pathMatch: 'full', which is also satisfied as we have matched the whole URL (it had a single empty segment).
3. A redirect to welcome happens and the application renders WelcomeComponent.

What if there was no pathMatch: 'full'?

Actually, one would expect the whole thing to behave exactly the same. However, Angular explicitly prevents such a configuration ({ path: '', redirectTo: 'welcome' }) because if you put this Route above welcome, it would theoretically create an endless loop of redirects. So Angular just throws an error, which is why the application would not work at all! (https://angular.io/api/router/Route#pathMatch)

Actually, this does not make too much sense to me because Angular also has implemented a protection against such endless redirects - it only runs a single redirect per routing level! This would stop all further redirects (as you'll see in the example below).

What about path: '**'?

path: '**' will match absolutely anything (af/frewf/321532152/fsa is a match) with or without a pathMatch: 'full'.

Also, since it matches everything, the root path is also included, which makes { path: '', redirectTo: 'welcome' } completely redundant in this setup.

Funnily enough, it is perfectly fine to have this configuration:

The last method above is usually the fastest for most applications, but do note that for very large datasets (100k rows) it's observed that the Clipboard actually outperforms the array dump:

That said, there are other considerations than just speed, and it may be the case that the performance hit on a large dataset is worth the tradeoff, to avoid interacting with the Clipboard.

I’ve run into this problem too. I'm using Nginx with HHVM, below solution fixed my issue:

Nothing. Just execute your query. If the connection has died, either your JDBC driver will reconnect (if it supports it, and you enabled it in your connection string--most don't support it) or else you'll get an exception.

__FUNCTION__ is non standard, __func__ exists in C99 / C++11. The others (__LINE__ and __FILE__) are just fine.

This:

works because your element (the <input>) has an attribute called "onblur" whose value is a function. Thus, you can call it. You're not telling the browser to simulate the actual "blur" event, however; there's no event object created, for example.

Elements do not have a "blur" attribute (or "method" or whatever), so that's why the first thing doesn't work.

Use the Arrays.sort() method, the lowest value will be element0.

I approached this in a slightly different way and it worked for me;

I needed to remove secure_links from my table that referenced the conditions table where there were no longer any condition rows left. A housekeeping script basically. This gave me the error - You cannot specify target table for delete.

So looking here for inspiration I came up with the below query and it works just fine. This is because it creates a temporary table sl1 that is used as the reference for the DELETE.

I haven't ever seen such a thing, but there is this dev tool that includes a syntax checker for oracle, mysql, db2, and sql server... http://www.sqlparser.com/index.php

However this seems to be just the library. You'd need to build an app to leverage the parser to do what you want. And the Enterprise edition that includes all of the databases would cost you $450... ouch!

The online tool doesn't automatically check against each DB though, you need to run each manually. Nor can I say how good it is at checking the syntax. That you'd need to investigate yourself.

There is an undocumented method called device_lib.list_local_devices() that enables you to list the devices available in the local process. (N.B. As an undocumented method, this is subject to backwards incompatible changes.) The function returns a list of DeviceAttributes protocol buffer objects. You can extract a list of string device names for the GPU devices as follows:

I generally agree with solutions given above. Namely with:

1. Using underscore in for-loop (2 and more lines)
2. Defining a normal while counter (3 and more lines)
3. Declaring a custom class with __nonzero__ implementation (many more lines)

If one is to define an object as in #3 I would recommend implementing protocol for with keyword or apply contextlib.

Further I propose yet another solution. It is a 3 liner and is not of supreme elegance, but it uses itertools package and thus might be of an interest.

In these example 2 is the number of times to iterate the loop. chain is wrapping two repeat iterators, the first being limited but the second is infinite. Remember that these are true iterator objects, hence they do not require infinite memory. Obviously this is much slower then solution #1. Unless written as a part of a function it might require a clean up for times variable.

A JavaScript solution for Internet Explorer is:

The above command will set the mentioned paths to classpath only once for executing the class named TestClass.

If you want to execute more then one classes, then you can follow this

After this you can execute as many classes as you want just by simply typing

The above command will work till you close the command prompt. But after closing the command prompt, if you will reopen the command prompt and try to execute some classes, then you have to again set the classpath with the help of any of the above two mentioned methods.(First method for executing one class and second one for executing more classes)

If you want to set the classpth only once so that it could work for everytime, then do as follows

1. Right click on "My Computer" icon
2. Go to the "properties"
3. Go to the "Advanced System Settings" or "Advance Settings"
4. Go to the "Environment Variable"
5. Create a new variable at the user variable by giving the information as below
    a.  Variable Name-     classpath
    b.  Variable Value-    .;C:\program files\jdk 1.6.0\bin;C:\MyLibs\a\';C:\MyLibs\b\*
6.Apply this and you are done.

Remember this will work every time. You don't need to explicitly set the classpath again and again.

NOTE: If you want to add some other libs after some day, then don't forget to add a semi-colon at the end of the "variable-value" of the "Environment Variable" and then type the path of your new libs after the semi-colon. Because semi-colon separates the paths of different directories.

If you need to call controller from View - you are doing something wrong. Time for refactoring.

I had the same question except that I wanted to combine the criteria into an OR condition. The format given by Wouter Overmeire combines the criteria into an AND condition such that both must be satisfied:

Java 9 & Unified JVM Logging

JEP 158 introduces a common logging system for all components of the JVM which will change (and IMO simplify) how logging works with GC. JEP 158 added a new command-line option to control logging from all components of the JVM:

For any variable holding an observable, we can use the .pipe() method to pass in one or multiple operator functions that can work on and transform each item in the observable collection.

So this example takes each number in the range of 0 to 10, and multiplies it by 2. Then, the filter function to filter the result down to only the odd numbers.

I think the example is wrong - javax.sql.DataSource doesn't have these properties either. Your DataSource needs to be of the type org.apache.derby.jdbc.ClientDataSource, which should have those properties.

You can also force a push by adding the + symbol before your branch name.

Three simple steps:

1. Change the constraints, e.g.:

2. Tell the containing view that its layout is dirty and that the autolayout should recalculate the layout:

Since with iOS 10 we got a new animating mechanism - UIViewPropertyAnimator, we should know that basically the same mechanism applies to it. The steps are basically the same:

Since animator is an encapsulation of the animation, we can keep reference to it and call it later. The order of changing constraints and starting an animator is important - if we just change the constraints and leave our animator for some later point, the next redraw cycle can invoke autolayout recalculation and the change will not be animated.

Also, remember that a single animator is non-reusable - once you run it, you cannot "rerun" it. So I guess there is not really a good reason to keep the animator around, unless we use it for controlling an interactive animation.

When using Python 3 the empty lines can be avoid by using the codecs module. As stated in the documentation, files are opened in binary mode so no change of the newline kwarg is necessary. I was running into the same issue recently and that worked for me:

To uninstall Anaconda open a terminal window:

1. Remove the entire anaconda installation directory:

rm -rf ~/anaconda

2. Edit ~/.bash_profile and remove the anaconda directory from your PATH environment variable.

Note: You may need to edit .bashrc and/or .profile files instead of .bash_profile

3. Remove the following hidden files and directories, which may have been created in the home directory:

   • .condarc
   • .conda
   • .continuum

There is no explicit way to change the favicon globally using CSS that I know of. But you can use a simple trick to change it on the fly.

First just name, or rename, the favicon to "favicon.ico" or something similar that will be easy to remember, or is relevant for the site you're working on. Then add the link to the favicon in the head as you usually would. Then when you drop in a new favicon just make sure it's in the same directory as the old one, and that it has the same name, and there you go!

It's not a very elegant solution, and it requires some effort. But dropping in a new favicon in one place is far easier than doing a find and replace of all the links, or worse, changing them manually. At least this way doesn't involve messing with the code.

Of course dropping in a new favicon with the same name will delete the old one, so make sure to backup the old favicon in case of disaster, or if you ever want to go back to the old design.

Run dos2unix or similar utility on it to remove the carriage returns (^M).

This message indicates that your file has dos-style lineendings:

First, Unicode doesn't contain "every character from every language", although it sure does try.

Unicode itself is a mapping, it defines codepoints and a codepoint is a number, associated with usually a character. I say usually because there are concepts like combining characters. You may be familiar with things like accents, or umlauts. Those can be used with another character, such as an a or a u to create a new logical character. A character therefore can consist of 1 or more codepoints.

To be useful in computing systems we need to choose a representation for this information. Those are the various unicode encodings, such as utf-8, utf-16le, utf-32 etc. They are distinguished largely by the size of of their codeunits. UTF-32 is the simplest encoding, it has a codeunit that is 32bits, which means an individual codepoint fits comfortably into a codeunit. The other encodings will have situations where a codepoint will need multiple codeunits, or that particular codepoint can't be represented in the encoding at all (this is a problem for instance with UCS-2).

Because of the flexibility of combining characters, even within a given encoding the number of bytes per character can vary depending on the character and the normalization form. This is a protocol for dealing with characters which have more than one representation (you can say "an 'a' with an accent" which is 2 codepoints, one of which is a combining char or "accented 'a'" which is one codepoint).

An easy approach is to leverage this code:

The functionality of creating SQL Agent Jobs is not available in SQL Server Express Edition. An alternative is to execute a batch file that executes a SQL script using Windows Task Scheduler.

In order to do this first create a batch file named sqljob.bat

Replace the servername, username, password and path with yours.

Then create the SQL Script file named sqljob.sql

Here's a simple example: how many elements in a set. (there are better ways to count things, but this is a nice simple recursive example.)

When applying a recursive solution, you usually have at least 2 rules:

• the basis, the simple case which states what happens when you have "used up" all of your data. This is usually some variation of "if you are out of data to process, your answer is X"
• the recursive rule, which states what happens if you still have data. This is usually some kind of rule that says "do something to make your data set smaller, and reapply your rules to the smaller data set."

If we translate the above to pseudocode, we get:

The problem here is that you cannot define the background color using a color selector, you need a drawable selector. So, the necessary changes would look like this:

When socket is blocking, socket.recv will return as long as the network buffers have bytes. If bytes in the network buffers are more than socket.recv can handle, it will return the maximum number of bytes it can handle. If bytes in the network buffers are less than socket.recv can handle, it will return all the bytes in the network buffers.
