Here is code to do it directly with JavaScript. But, as previously mentioned, you'd be much better off with a JavaScript library. My favorite is jQuery.

In the case below, an ASPX page (that's servicing as a poor man's REST service) is being called to return a JavaScript JSON object.

Update by Arkadiy: I've observed more correct behavior of System.currentTimeMillis() on Windows 7 in Oracle Java 8. The time was returned with 1 millisecond precision. The source code in OpenJDK has not changed, so I do not know what causes the better behavior.

David Holmes of Sun posted a blog article a couple years ago that has a very detailed look at the Java timing APIs (in particular System.currentTimeMillis() and System.nanoTime()), when you would want to use which, and how they work internally.

One very interesting aspect of the timer used by Java on Windows for APIs that have a timed wait parameter is that the resolution of the timer can change depending on what other API calls may have been made - system wide (not just in the particular process). He shows an example where using Thread.sleep() will cause this resolution change.

If we consider a JavaScript integer to be a value of maximum 4294967295 (i.e. Math.pow(2,32)-1), then the following short solution will perfectly work:

Just to add to CKoenig's response. His answer will work as long as the class you're dealing with is a reference type (like a class). If the custom object were a struct, this is a value type, and the results of .FirstOrDefault will give you a local copy of that, which will mean it won't persist back to the collection, as this example shows:

Installation

OpCache is compiled by default on PHP5.5+. However it is disabled by default. In order to start using OpCache in PHP5.5+ you will first have to enable it. To do this you would have to do the following.

Add the following line to your php.ini:

zend_extension=/full/path/to/opcache.so (nix)
zend_extension=C:\path\to\php_opcache.dll (win)

Note that when the path contains spaces you should wrap it in quotes:

Usage

Currently there are four functions which you can use:

opcache_get_configuration():

Returns an array containing the currently used configuration OpCache uses. This includes all ini settings as well as version information and blacklisted files.

opcache_get_status():

This will return an array with information about the current status of the cache. This information will include things like: the state the cache is in (enabled, restarting, full etc), the memory usage, hits, misses and some more useful information. It will also contain the cached scripts.

Resets the entire cache. Meaning all possible cached scripts will be parsed again on the next visit.

opcache_reset();

opcache_invalidate():

Invalidates a specific cached script. Meaning the script will be parsed again on the next visit.

I simply needed to update my project's dependencies and then restart the server.

Here's a solution to the general case that doesn't involve needing to know the length of the array ahead of time, using collect, or using udfs. Unfortunately this only works for spark version 2.1 and above, because it requires the posexplode function.

Suppose you had the following DataFrame:

Comprehensions are usually faster, and this has the advantage of not editing mydict during the iteration:

mydict = dict((k, v if v else '') for k, v in mydict.items())

Older versions of git allowed you to use the "theirs" merge strategy:

git pull --strategy=theirs remote_branch

But this has since been removed, as explained in this message by Junio Hamano (the Git maintainer). As noted in the link, instead you would do this:

git fetch origin
git reset --hard origin

Beware, though, that this is different than an actual merge. Your solution is probably the option you're really looking for.

<h:button>

The <h:button> generates a HTML <input type="button">. The generated element uses JavaScript to navigate to the page given by the attribute outcome, using a HTTP GET request.

E.g.

<h:button value="GET button" outcome="otherpage" />

will generate

<input type="button" onclick="window.location.href='/contextpath/otherpage.xhtml'; return false;" value="GET button" />

Even though this ends up in a (bookmarkable) URL change in the browser address bar, this is not SEO-friendly. Searchbots won't follow the URL in the onclick. You'd better use a <h:outputLink> or <h:link> if SEO is important on the given URL. You could if necessary throw in some CSS on the generated HTML <a> element to make it to look like a button.

Do note that while you can put an EL expression referring a method in outcome attribute as below,

<h:button value="GET button" outcome="#{bean.getOutcome()}" />

it will not be invoked when you click the button. Instead, it is already invoked when the page containing the button is rendered for the sole purpose to obtain the navigation outcome to be embedded in the generated onclick code. If you ever attempted to use the action method syntax as in outcome="#{bean.action}", you would already be hinted by this mistake/misconception by facing a javax.el.ELException: Could not find property actionMethod in class com.example.Bean.

If you intend to invoke a method as result of a POST request, use <h:commandButton> instead, see below. <h:commandButton>

The <h:commandButton> generates a HTML <input type="submit"> button which submits by default the parent <h:form> using HTTP POST method and invokes the actions attached to action, actionListener and/or <f:ajax listener>, if any. The <h:form> is required.

E.g.

Note that it thus submits to the current page (the form action URL will show up in the browser address bar). It will afterwards forward to the target page, without any change in the URL in the browser address bar. You could add ?faces-redirect=true parameter to the outcome value to trigger a redirect after POST (as per the Post-Redirect-Get pattern) so that the target URL becomes bookmarkable.

The <h:commandButton> is usually exclusively used to submit a POST form, not to perform page-to-page navigation. Normally, the action points to some business action, such as saving the form data in DB, which returns a String outcome.

<h:commandButton ... action="#{bean.save}" />

with

Returning null or void will bring you back to the same view. Returning an empty string also, but it would recreate any view scoped bean. These days, with modern JSF2 and <f:ajax>, more than often actions just return to the same view (thus, null or void) wherein the results are conditionally rendered by ajax.

It started happening to me when I changed variables for Android Studio. Go to your studio64.exe.vmoptions file (located in c:\users\userName\.AndroidStudio{version}\ and comments the arguments.

The std::string::append() method expects its argument to be a NULL terminated string (char*).

There are several approaches for producing a string containg an int:

The "&" denotes a reference instead of a pointer to an object (In your case a constant reference).

The advantage of having a function such as

foo(string const& myname) 

over

foo(string const* myname)

is that in the former case you are guaranteed that myname is non-null, since C++ does not allow NULL references. Since you are passing by reference, the object is not copied, just like if you were passing a pointer.

Your second example:

const string &GetMethodName() { ... }

Would allow you to return a constant reference to, for example, a member variable. This is useful if you do not wish a copy to be returned, and again be guaranteed that the value returned is non-null. As an example, the following allows you direct, read-only access:

You have to of course be careful to not return invalid references. Compilers will happily compile the following (depending on your warning level and how you treat warnings)

Basically, it is your responsibility to ensure that whatever you are returning a reference to is actually valid.

It's as simple as:

When using an object property instead of variable, it is interesting to know that the get accessor of the intermediate value is not called. Only the set accessor is invoked for all property accessed in the assignation sequence.

Take for example a class that write to the console everytime the get and set accessor are invoked.

the way i found was to find the project compiler output (project structure > project). then find the complied folder of the module you wish to turn to a jar, compress it with zip and change the extension of the output from zip to jar.

If it's a PHP issue, you could simply alter the configuration file php.ini wherever it's located and update the settings for PORT/SOCKET-PATH etc to make it connect to the server.

In my case, I opened the file php.ini and did

I don't recall the exact syntax, but you may set the table column to be case insensitive. But be careful because then you won't be able to match based on case anymore and if you WANT 'cool' to not match 'CoOl' it will no longer be possible.

Well, its not compulsory to restart the emulator you can also reset adb from eclipse itself.

1.) Go to DDMS and there is a reset adb option, please see the image below.

a combination of answers gave me a very fast running time. using the shift method to create new column of next row values, then using the row_iterator function as @alisdt did, but here i changed it from iterrows to itertuples which is 100 times faster.

my script is for iterating dataframe of duplications in different length and add one second for each duplication so they all be unique.

Double quotes are string interpolation in PHP, so if you're going to use variables in a double quotes string, it's pointless to use the concat operator. On the flip side, single quotes are not string interpolation, so if you've only got like one variable at the end of a string it can make sense, or just use it for the whole string.

In fact, there's a micro op available here since the interpreter doesn't care about parsing the string for variables. The boost is nearly unnoticable and totally ignorable on a small scale. However, in a very large application, especially good old legacy monoliths, there can be a noticeable performance increase if strings are used like this. (and IMO, it's easier to read anyway)

The second regex is 20% faster than the first one, but as the number consecutive spaces increases, the first one performs better than the second one.

Old post, but I just ran into a very similar problem. After some experimenting, I found that you can do this with a single command:

It then provides some reflection code to access private methods (similar to the code Marcus provides above.) The only issue I've found with the sample is that the code doesn't take into account overloaded methods.

One thing you can do is get rid of all those onclick attributes and do it the right way with bootstrap. You don't need to open them manually; you can specify the trigger and even subscribe to events before the modal opens so that you can do your operations and populate data in it.

I am just going to show as a static example which you can accommodate in your real world.

On each of your <tr>'s add a data attribute for id (i.e. data-id) with the corresponding id value and specify a data-target, which is a selector you specify, so that when clicked, bootstrap will select that element as modal dialog and show it. And then you need to add another attribute data-toggle=modal to make this a trigger for modal.

Warnings are annoying. As mentioned in other answers, you can suppress them using:

In my view, Apple's naming is at least a bit confusing; why "-005" - is this the fifth version, or the fifth of five installers one needs?

And then run the installer; then follow the above steps inside Eclipse.

Firstly, your URL definition does not accept any parameters at all. If you want parameters to be passed from the URL into the view, you need to define them in the urlconf.

Secondly, it's not at all clear what you are expecting to happen to the cleaned_data dictionary. Don't forget you can't redirect to a POST - this is a limitation of HTTP, not Django - so your cleaned_data either needs to be a URL parameter (horrible) or, slightly better, a series of GET parameters - so the URL would be in the form:

and so on. In this case, field1, field2 and field3 are not included in the URLconf definition - they are available in the view via request.GET.

The whole point of using redirect and reverse, as you have been doing, is that you go to the URL - it returns an Http code that causes the browser to redirect to the new URL, and call that.

If you simply want to call the view from within your code, just do it directly - no need to use reverse at all.

From what I gather, Matz does not like the construct

because, it's semantics is different than

<single_line_of_code> while <cond>

in that the first construct executes the code first before checking the condition, and the second construct tests the condition first before it executes the code (if ever). I take it Matz prefers to keep the second construct because it matches one line construct of if statements.

I never liked the second construct even for if statements. In all other cases, the computer executes code left-to-right (eg. || and &&) top-to-bottom. Humans read code left-to-right top-to-bottom.

I suggest the following constructs instead:

There is no way to query a database other than the current one. Because PostgreSQL loads database-specific system catalogs, it is uncertain how a cross-database query should even behave.

To split the text you can use .Split(" ") and use a loop to put the name back into one string. if you don't want to use .Split() then you could also use foreach and ad an if statement to split it where needed.

What I did to solve this problem is NOT to install Graphiz.zip from the intenet!

I just did these steps:

1. Create a new environment using >>conda create -n [env_name]
2. install graphviz lib inside this new env: >> conda install graphviz

Some of the key differences are in the complexity requirements.

• A map requires O(log(N)) time for inserts and finds operations, as it's implemented as a Red-Black Tree data structure.

• An unordered_map requires an 'average' time of O(1) for inserts and finds, but is allowed to have a worst-case time of O(N). This is because it's implemented using Hash Table data structure.

So, usually, unordered_map will be faster, but depending on the keys and the hash function you store, can become much worse.

You don't have to use CASE...WHEN, you could use an OR condition, like this:

Pecl PDO package is now deprecated. By the way the debian package php5-pgsql now includes both the regular and the PDO driver, so just:

If you aren't going to be handling the exception go with TryParse. TryParse is faster because it doesn't have to deal with the whole exception stack trace.

Split is slow, but not as slow as Scanner. StringTokenizer is faster than split. However, I found that I could obtain double the speed, by trading some flexibility, to get a speed-boost, which I did at JFastParser https://github.com/hughperkins/jfastparser

Testing on a string containing one million doubles:

Split: 715 ms
StringTokenizer: 544ms

We actually had these merged together originally, i.e. there was a "filter"-like method that accepted *args and **kwargs, where you could pass a SQL expression or keyword arguments (or both). I actually find that a lot more convenient, but people were always confused by it, since they're usually still getting over the difference between column == expression and keyword = expression. So we split them up.

You can simply use stream method to not download the full file. As in latest Python3 you won't get urllib2. It's best to use proven request method. This simple function will solve your problem.

The current state of a socket is determined by 'keep-alive' activity. In your case, this is possible that when you are issuing the send call, the keep-alive activity tells that the socket is active and so the send call will write the required data (40 bytes) in to the buffer and returns without giving any error.

When you are sending a bigger chunk, the send call goes in to blocking state.

The send man page also confirms this:

When the message does not fit into the send buffer of the socket, send() normally blocks, unless the socket has been placed in non-blocking I/O mode. In non-blocking mode it would return EAGAIN in this case

So, while blocking for the free available buffer, if the caller is notified (by keep-alive mechanism) that the other end is no more present, the send call will fail.

Predicting the exact scenario is difficult with the mentioned info, but I believe, this should be the reason for you problem.

When creating the array, why not just skip over the 0s and save yourself the time of having to worry about them later? As mentioned above, arrays are not well-suited for deletion.

Word starts page numbering over for each new section by default.

I do it slightly differently than the post above that goes through the ribbon menus, but in both methods you have to go through the document to each section's beginning.

My method:

• open up the footer (or header if that's where your page number is)
• drag-select the page number
• right-click on it
• hit Format Page Numbers
• click on the Continue from Previous Section radio button under Page numbering

I find this right-click method to be a little faster. Also, usually if I insert the page numbers first before I start making any new sections, this problem doesn't happen in the first place.

This way you only need to free the structure because the fields are arrays with static sizes which will be allocated as part of the structure. This is also the reason that the addresses you see match: the array is the first thing in that structure. If you declared the fields as char * you would have to manually malloc and free them as well.

In practice, I've found that a "build path error" may be caused by any number of reasons, depending on what plugins are active. Check the "Problems" view for more information.

Tick 'Full Index Enabled' and then 'Rebuild Index' of the central repository in 'Global Repositories' under Window > Show View > Other > Maven > Maven Repositories, and it should work.

The rebuilding may take a long time depending on the speed of your internet connection, but eventually it works.

There's no need to wait for input before closing, just change your command like so:

The /K switch will execute the command that follows, but leave the command interpreter window open, in contrast to /C, which executes and then closes.

Dispatching blocks to the main queue from the main thread can be useful. It gives the main queue a chance to handle other blocks that have been queued so that you're not simply blocking everything else from executing.

For example you could write an essentially single threaded server that nonetheless handles many concurrent connections. As long as no individual block in the queue takes too long the server stays responsive to new requests.

If your program does nothing but spend its whole life responding to events then this can be quite natural. You just set up your event handlers to run on the main queue and then call dispatch_main(), and you may not need to worry about thread safety at all.

It's possible to get this done using seaborn.lineplot() but it involves some additional work of converting numpy arrays to pandas dataframe. Here's a complete example:

You can do this directly with tar and even better:

This instructs tar to compress files newer than 1st of January 2014, 18:00:00.

The return type of a procedure is int.

You can also return result sets (as your code currently does) (okay, you can also send messages, which are strings)

Those are the only "returns" you can make. Whilst you can add table-valued parameters to a procedure (see BOL), they're input only.

Edit:

(Or as another poster mentioned, you could also use a Table Valued Function, rather than a procedure)

First note that

Mage::getBaseDir('skin')

returns only path to skin directory of your Magento install (/your/magento/dir/skin).

You can access absolute path to currently used skin directory using:

Mage::getDesign()->getSkinBaseDir()

This method accepts an associative array as optional parameter to modify result.

The problem is even if you create a proxy or load the content and inject it as if it's local, any scripts that that content defines will be loaded from the other domain and cause cross-domain problems.

1) I have experienced same issue, my Xcode version was 7.0.1, and I updated my iPhone to version 9.2, then upon using Xcode, my iPhone was shown in the section of unavailable device. Just like in image below:

Update: Whenever version of iPhone device is higher than version of Xcode, you may experience same issue, so you should update your Xcode version to remove this error.

I had a very similar issue. I got the same error because the csv contained spaces in the header. My csv contained a header "Gender " and I had it listed as:

[['Gender']]

If it's easy enough for you to access your csv, you can use the excel formula trim() to clip any spaces of the cells.

The closest() function is cool because it will "get the first element that matches the selector by testing the element itself and traversing up through its ancestors."

Just finished writing my own parser. I tried to use various parser found here, none seems to work with both ksh93 (AIX) and bash (Linux).

It's old programming style - parsing line by line. Pretty fast since it used few external commands. A bit slower because of all the eval required for dynamic name of the array.

The ini support 3 special syntaxs:

• includefile=ini file --> Load an additionnal ini file. Useful for splitting ini in multiple files, or re-use some piece of configuration
• includedir=directory --> Same as includefile, but include a complete directory
• includesection=section --> Copy an existing section to the current section.

I used all thoses syntax to have pretty complex, re-usable ini file. Useful to install products when installing a new OS - we do that a lot.

Values can be accessed with ${ini[$section.$item]}. The array MUST be defined before calling this.

I just faced a similar problem where a SEO plugin issued a big number of warnings making my blog disk use exceed the plan limit.

I found out that you must include the error_reporting command after the wp-settings.php require in the wp-config.php file:

If you want to cut the whitespaces before and behind the word, but keep the middle ones.

Nope, this cannot be done since opacity affects the whole element including its content and there's no way to alter this behavior. You can work around this with the two following methods.

Secondary div

Add another div element to the container to hold the background. This is the most cross-browser friendly method and will work even on IE6.

Another trick is to use the CSS 2.1 :before or CSS 3 ::before pseudo-elements. :before pseudo-element is supported in IE from version 8, while the ::before pseudo-element is not supported at all. This will hopefully be rectified in version 10.

Before using multidimensional arrays in Swift, consider their impact on performance. In my tests, the flattened array performed almost 2x better than the 2D version:

Both algorithms are O(n^2), so the difference in execution times is caused by the way we initialize the table.

Finally, the worst you can do is using append() to add new elements. That proved to be the slowest in my tests:

Conclusion

Avoid multidimensional arrays and use access by index if execution speed matters. 1D arrays are more performant, but your code might be a bit harder to understand.

Keep in mind that you're NEVER zooming in on a UIImage. EVER.

Instead, you're zooming in and out on the view that displays the UIImage.

In this particular case, you chould choose to create a custom UIView with custom drawing to display the image, a UIImageView which displays the image for you, or a UIWebView which will need some additional HTML to back it up.

In all cases, you'll need to implement touchesBegan, touchesMoved, and the like to determine what the user is trying to do (zoom, pan, etc.).

One more point I haven't found anyone mentioned:

If you have virtual method, each declaration can have its own default value!

It depends on the interface you are calling which value will be used.

By script attached to a sheet I mean that script is residing in the script editor of that sheet. Not attached means not residing in the script editor of that sheet. It can be in any other place.

I know this is an old thread, but for any future visitors, the cause of this error is most likely because you haven't built your project from Build > Build Solution. The reason you're getting this error when you try to run your project is because Visual Studio can't find the executable file that should be produced when you build your project.

You can take using the following method

cuDNN causes my problem. PATH variable doesn't work for me. I have to copy the files in my cuDNN folders into respectful CUDA 8.0 folder structure.

It is worth pointing out that if you use json_decode(file_get_contents("php://input")) (as others have mentioned), this will fail if the string is not valid JSON.

This can be simply resolved by first checking if the JSON is valid. i.e.

This solution gives correct results over the entire range [0,UINT_MAX] without requiring digits to be buffered.

It also works for wider types or signed types (with positive values) with appropriate type changes.

This kind of approach is particularly useful on tiny environments (e.g. Arduino bootloader) because it doesn't end up pulling in all the printf() bloat (when printf() isn't used for demo output) and uses very little RAM. You can get a look at value just by blinking a single led :)

The generic view of a loop is

for (initialization; condition; increment-decrement){}

The first part initializes the code. The second part is the condition that will continue to run the loop as long as it is true. The last part is what will be run after each iteration of the loop. The last part is typically used to increment or decrement a counter, but it doesn't have to.

Try this:

The command git rev-parse can do a remarkable number of different things, so you'd need to go through the documentation very carefully to spot that though.

fork() splits the current process into two processes. Or in other words, your nice linear easy to think of program suddenly becomes two separate programs running one piece of code:

This can kind of blow your mind. Now you have one piece of code with pretty much identical state being executed by two processes. The child process inherits all the code and memory of the process that just created it, including starting from where the fork() call just left off. The only difference is the fork() return code to tell you if you are the parent or the child. If you are the parent, the return value is the id of the child.

exec is a bit easier to grasp, you just tell exec to execute a process using the target executable and you don't have two processes running the same code or inheriting the same state. Like @Steve Hawkins says, exec can be used after you forkto execute in the current process the target executable.

So if you got the code, let me tell you, div_id will be id of div tag where you have to show your result. By using this code, you are passing parameters to another page. This is for those looking to DELETE an app on their Heroku account. Sometimes you end up here when trying to find out how to remove/delete an app.

WARNING: This is irreversible!

• Go to your Heroku dashboard here
• Select the app you want to delete.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page for that app.
• Press the red Delete app... button.

No, that's not really possible, as

• there can be more than one string giving the same MD5
• it was designed to be hard to "reverse"

The goal of the MD5 and its family of hashing functions is

• to get short "extracts" from long string
• to make it hard to guess where they come from
• to make it hard to find collisions, that is other words having the same hash (which is a very similar exigence as the second one)

Think that you can get the MD5 of any string, even very long. And the MD5 is only 16 bytes long (32 if you write it in hexa to store or distribute it more easily). If you could reverse them, you'd have a magical compacting scheme.

This being said, as there aren't so many short strings (passwords...) used in the world, you can test them from a dictionary (that's called "brute force attack") or even google for your MD5. If the word is common and wasn't salted, you have a reasonable chance to succeed...

If you are interested to detect simple IR light blob through haar cascade, it will be very odd to do. Because simple IR blob does not have enough features to be trained through opencv like other objects (face, eyes,nose etc). And if you just want to detect IR blob, then you have two more possibilities, one is you go for DIP algorithms to detect bright region and the other one which I recommend you is you can use an IR cam which just pass the IR blob and you can detect easily the IR blob by using opencv blob functiuons. If you think an IR cam is expansive, you can make simple webcam to an IR cam by removing IR blocker (if any) and add visible light blocker i.e negative film, floppy material or any other.
