I don't know which version of Python you are using but I tried this in Python 3 and made a few changes and it looks like it works. The raw_input function seems to be the issue here. I changed all the raw_input functions to "input()" and I also made minor changes to the printing to be compatible with Python 3. AJ Uppal is correct when he says that you shouldn't name a variable and a function with the same name. See here for reference:

I noticed a small bug in your code as well. This function should ideally convert pounds to kilograms but it looks like when it prints, it is printing "Centimeters" instead of kilograms.

Original Answer

Because there isn't an official answer yet and I literally just did this for my OS X/WinXP install, here's what I did:

1. VirtualBox Manager: Open the Shared Folders setting and click the '+' icon to add a new folder. Then, populate the Folder Path (or use the drop-down to navigate) with the folder you want shared and make sure "Auto-Mount" and "Make Permanent" are checked.
2. Boot Windows
3. Once Windows is running, goto the Devices menu (at the top of the VirtualBox Manager window) and select "Insert Guest Additions CD Image...". Cycle through the prompts and once you finish installing, let it reboot.
4. After Windows reboots, your new drive should show up as a Network Drive in Windows Explorer.

I had the same problem, what helped we was turning of my anti virus protection for like 10 minutes while node installed and it worked like a charm.

The problem is the Python module requests. It can be fixed by

$ sudo apt-get purge python-requests
[now requests and pip gets deinstalled]
$ sudo apt-get install python-requests python-pip

If you have this problem with Python 3, you have to write python3 instead of python.

For listing everything with full path, only in current directory

find $PWD -maxdepth 1

Same as above but only matches a particular extension, case insensitive (.sh files in this case)

$PWD is for current directory, it can be replaced with any directory

mydir="/etc/sudoers.d/" ; find $mydir -maxdepth 1

maxdepth prevents find from going into subdirectories, for example you can set it to "2" for listing items in children as well. Simply remove it if you need it recursive.

To limit it to only files, can use -type f option.

In a simple words range + hash key = composite primary key CoreComponents of Dynamodb

A primary key is consists of a hash key and an optional range key. Hash key is used to select the DynamoDB partition. Partitions are parts of the table data. Range keys are used to sort the items in the partition, if they exist.

The Music table described in Tables, Items, and Attributes is an example of a table with a composite primary key (Artist and SongTitle). You can access any item in the Music table directly, if you provide the Artist and SongTitle values for that item.

A composite primary key gives you additional flexibility when querying data. For example, if you provide only the value for Artist, DynamoDB retrieves all of the songs by that artist. To retrieve only a subset of songs by a particular artist, you can provide a value for Artist along with a range of values for SongTitle.

Add-Content is default ASCII and add new line however Add-Content brings locked files issues too.

To force a reload of the php.ini you should restart apache.

Try sudo service apache2 restart from the command line. Or sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

You should always try as much as possible to always put your statements in a try catch block ... it will always help in situations like this and will let you know whats wrong. Perhaps the table name or column name is wrong.

Even if it looks like the module is installed, as far as Python is concerned it isn't since it throws that exception.

Try installing the module again using one of the installation methods shown in the XlsxWriter docs and look out for any installation errors.

If there are none then run a sample program like the following:

What does it do? Runs https://github.com/lavie/runlike inside a container, gets you the complete docker run command, then removes the container for you.

You don't need to explicitly use qualifiers like item.photo == '' or item.photo != ''. Like in JavaScript, an empty string will be evaluated as false.

Your views will be much cleaner and readable as well.

For me, this issue was proxy related. In Mac osx, even while above error is displayed, there is menu bar for Android Studio at top. Select preferences Android Studio -> Preferences and change proxy as below and issue was resolved. There could be similar options in Windows/Linux to access preferences page while error is being displayed.

A cleaner alternative would be to use a Dictionary to handle parameters. They are key-value pairs after all.

As stated in the Remarks section of the HttpClient class in the Microsoft docs, HttpClient should be instantiated once and re-used.

Edit:

You may want to look into response.EnsureSuccessStatusCode(); instead of if (response.StatusCode == HttpStatusCode.OK).

The steps I followed:

1. Preferences
2. Browse Packages...
3. Go into the User folder (equivalent to going to %AppData%\Sublime Text 3\Packages\User)
4. Make a new text file in this folder called Default.sublime-theme
5. Add JSON styles here -- for a template, check out https://gist.github.com/MrDrews/5434948

To check on elasticsearch cluster health you need to use

Had a similar issue when working with RN components in my Android project and the only way to get around this issue was to ignore the gradle project.

To do this:

• Click on the gradle tab on the right hand side of AS
• Right click the gradle module which is causing an issue
• Click "Ignore Gradle Project"
• Perform a gradle sync which should be successful now
• If you need this module perform the 4 above steps again, this time when right click on the gradle project it'll show "Unignore Gradle Project"
• Gradle sync should now work

No idea what causes this but I've had this happen to me when using React Native Maps.

Note: If you're still having issues following this. Try to refresh the gradle project which was causing issues.

The align-items property of flex-box aligns the items inside a flex container along the cross axis just like justify-content does along the main axis. (For the default flex-direction: row the cross axis corresponds to vertical and the main axis corresponds to horizontal. With flex-direction: column those two are interchanged respectively).

Here's an example of how align-items:center looks:

But align-content is for multi line flexible boxes. It has no effect when items are in a single line. It aligns the whole structure according to its value. Here's an example for align-content: space-around;:

The Docker daemon binds to a Unix socket instead of a TCP port. By default that Unix socket is owned by the user root and other users can only access it using sudo. The Docker daemon always runs as the root user.

As of Socket.IO 1.0 (May 2014), all connections begin with an HTTP polling request (more info here). That means that in addition to forwarding WebSocket traffic, you need to forward any transport=polling HTTP requests.

The solution below should redirect all socket traffic correctly, without redirecting any other traffic.

1. Enable the following Apache2 mods:

The simple answer for this one is that you have an undeclared (null) variable. In this case it is $md5. From the comment you put this needed to be declared elsewhere in your code

To create a simple time delay, you can import Darwin and then use sleep(seconds) to do the delay. That only takes whole seconds, though, so for more precise measurements you can import Darwin and use usleep(millionths of a second) for very precise measurement. To test this, I wrote:

I checked some of the methods for speed performance and find that there is no difference! The only difference is that using some methods you must carefully check dimension.

As you can see I tried 2 experiments - using np.random.rand(10000) and np.random.rand(1, 10000) And if we use 2d arrays than np.stack and np.array create additional dimension - result.shape is (1,10000,10000) and (10000,1,10000) so they need additional actions to avoid this.

Since $http.get returns a 'promise' with the extra convenience methods success and error (which just wrap the result of then) you should be able to use (regardless of your Angular version):

Not strictly an answer to the question, but if you're getting bitten by the "my version of Angular is different than the docs" issue you can always dump all of the arguments, even if you don't know the appropriate method signature:

All of the above did not work for me. Cloning the repo was working correctly but I was still getting an unrecognized import error.

If you're using 0 and an empty string '' and null to designate undefined you've got a data problem. Just update the columns and fix your schema.

Use np.select if you have multiple conditions to be checked from the dataframe and output a specific choice in a different column

Note: No of conditions and no of choices should match, repeat text in choice if for two different conditions you have same choices

The syntax is token-level, so the meaning of the dollar sign depends on the token it's in. The expression $(command) is a modern synonym for `command` which stands for command substitution; it means run command and put its output here. So

echo "Today is $(date). A fine day."

will run the date command and include its output in the argument to echo. The parentheses are unrelated to the syntax for running a command in a subshell, although they have something in common (the command substitution also runs in a separate subshell).

By contrast, ${variable} is just a disambiguation mechanism, so you can say ${var}text when you mean the contents of the variable var, followed by text (as opposed to $vartext which means the contents of the variable vartext).

The while loop expects a single argument which should evaluate to true or false (or actually multiple, where the last one's truth value is examined -- thanks Jonathan Leffler for pointing this out); when it's false, the loop is no longer executed. The for loop iterates over a list of items and binds each to a loop variable in turn; the syntax you refer to is one (rather generalized) way to express a loop over a range of arithmetic values.

A for loop like that can be rephrased as a while loop. The expression

for ((init; check; step)); do
    body
done

is equivalent to

init
while check; do
    body
    step
done

It makes sense to keep all the loop control in one place for legibility; but as you can see when it's expressed like this, the for loop does quite a bit more than the while loop.

Of course, this syntax is Bash-specific; classic Bourne shell only has

for variable in token1 token2 ...; do

(Somewhat more elegantly, you could avoid the echo in the first example as long as you are sure that your argument string doesn't contain any % format codes:

date +'Today is %c. A fine day.'

Avoiding a process where you can is an important consideration, even though it doesn't make a lot of difference in this isolated example.)

I had the same problem with a freshly installed copy of Chrome. If nothing works, and your Use a proxy server your LAN setting is unchecked, check it and then uncheck it . Believe it or not it might work. I don't know if I should consider it a bug or not.

One more reason for this error (assuming that gradle properly setup) is incompatibility between andorid.gradle tools and gradle itself - check out this answer for the complete compatibility table.

I've fixed that by upgrading com.android.tools.build:gradle to the current latest 3.1.4

If running on Windows try running R or R Studio as administrator to avoid Windows OS file system constraints.

To use multiple files from node_modules in html, the best way I've found is to put them to an array and then loop on them to make them visible for web clients, for example to use filepond modules from node_modules:
