Make sure that you've installed php-mysql, the pdo needs php-mysql to operate properly. If not you could simply type

sudo apt install php-mysql

I was trying to install tensorflow GPU for a Windows 7 with pip3 for python3.5.x. Instead of doing pip3 install --upgrade tensorflow I just did pip install tensorflow and after it completed i was finally able to import tensorflow in python3.5.x.

I was getting a 403 on HEAD requests while the GET requests were working. It turned out to be the CORS config in s3 permissions. I had to add HEAD

Nowadays, Alpine images will boot directly into /bin/sh by default, without having to specify a shell to execute:

$ sudo docker run -it --rm alpine  
/ # echo $0  
/bin/sh  

This is since the alpine image Dockerfiles now contain a CMD command, that specifies the shell to execute when the container starts: CMD ["/bin/sh"].

In older Alpine image versions (pre-2017), the CMD command was not used, since Docker used to create an additional layer for CMD which caused the image size to increase. This is something that the Alpine image developers wanted to avoid. In recent Docker versions (1.10+), CMD no longer occupies a layer, and so it was added to alpine images. Therefore, as long as CMD is not overridden, recent Alpine images will boot into /bin/sh.

If you're just trying to find out where npm is installing your global module (the title of this thread), look at the output when running npm install -g sample_module

While I would recommend against this.

But you can use shutdown as client if the target machine has remote shutdown enabled and is in the same workgroup.

Example:

replacing <target-computer-name> with the URI for the target machine,

Otherwise, if you want to trigger this through Apache, you'll need to configure the batch script as a CGI script by putting AddHandler cgi-script .bat and Options +ExecCGI into either a local .htaccess file or in the main configuration for your Apache install.

Then you can just call the .bat file containing the shutdown.exe command from your browser.

Check your clock matches between the client and server.

When I had this error intermittently, none of the above answers worked, then we found the time had drifted on some of our servers, once they were synced again the error went away. Search for w32tm or NTP to see how to automatically sync the time on Windows.

Actually you must make sure that the IIS Management Console feature is explicitly checked. On my win 10 pro I had to do it manually, checking the root only was not enough!

You can easily pass it as an environment variable

docker run .. -e HOST_HOSTNAME=`hostname` ..

using

-e HOST_HOSTNAME=`hostname`

will call the hostname and use it's return as an environment variable called HOST_HOSTNAME, of course you can customize the key as you like.

There are two crucial nonobvious settings that I've discovered when tuning linked servers on Excel under SQL Server 2014. With those settings, ' FROM OPENDATASOURCE(''Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0'', ...)' as well as '... FROM [' + @srv_name + ']...data AS xl ...' function properly.

Providing access to the linked server under specific SQL Server logins

This is the first crucial setting. Even for SA like for any other SQL Server login:

You can open the registry and add a string named Description in your service's registry key to add a little more descriptive information about it. It will be shown in services.msc.

IS it possible that there is and "error" in the error log entry ? I.e. that the .dll IS found (as a file) but not of the right format, or something like that ??

The database registers its service name(s) with the listener when it starts up. If it is unable to do so then it tries again periodically - so if the listener starts after the database then there can be a delay before the service is recognised.

If the database isn't running, though, nothing will have registered the service, so you shouldn't expect the listener to know about it - lsnrctl status or lsnrctl services won't report a service that isn't registered yet.

You can start the database up without the listener; from the Oracle account and with your ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and PATH set you can do:

sqlplus /nolog

Then from the SQL*Plus prompt:

connect / as sysdba
startup

Or through the Grid infrastructure, from the grid account, use the srvctl start database command:

srvctl start database -d db_unique_name [-o start_options] [-n node_name]

You might want to look at whether the database is set to auto-start in your oratab file, and depending on what you're using whether it should have started automatically. If you're expecting it to be running and it isn't, or you try to start it and it won't come up, then that's a whole different scenario - you'd need to look at the error messages, alert log, possibly trace files etc. to see exactly why it won't start, and if you can't figure it out, maybe ask on Database Adminsitrators rather than on Stack Overflow.

If the database can't see +DATA then ASM may not be running; you can see how to start that here; or using srvctl start asm. As the documentation says, make sure you do that from the grid home, not the database home.

opened the httpd.conf and changed the listen port from 80 to 1234 in both places

Then go to Config for the xampp control panel and go to service and port setting and changed the port from 80 to 1234

That worked.

For me, running the ad-hoc network on Windows 8.1, it was two things:

• I had to set a static IP on my Android (under Advanced Options under where you type the Wifi password)
• I had to use a password 8 characters long

Any IP will allow you to connect, but if you want internet access the static IP should match the subnet from the shared internet connection.

I'm not sure why I couldn't get a longer password to work, but it's worth a try. Maybe a more knowledgeable person could fill us in.

I had similar problem with Tomcat 8 embedded in java7 application.

When I launched Tomcat in my application, it worked. But when I launched it through Maven for integration test purpose, I got this error : "No Spring WebApplicationInitializer types detected on classpath".

I fixed it by upgrading org.apache.tomcat.embed:tomcat-embed-* dependencies from version 8.0.29 to 8.0.47.

Directory can be created using file module only, as directory is nothing but a file.

Just for future reference, this problem happened with me, using Vagrant 1.7.4 and VirtualBox 5.0.10 r104061, when I provisioned a shared folder in / and created a symbolic link to my home folder. Something like this:

/folder
~/folder -> /folder

Apparently, this operation is not allowed by Vagrant due to security purposes and throws the described error.

I solved it by provisioning the desired folder directly to my home directory, such as /home/vagrant/folder.

You're correct that this is really painful to hand out to others, but if you have to, this is how you do it.

1. Just extract the .ocx file from the .cab file (it is similar to a zip)
2. Copy to the system folder (c:\windows\sysWOW64 for 64 bit systems and c:\windows\system32 for 32 bit)
3. Use regsvr32 through the command prompt to register the file (e.g. "regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\mscomct2.ocx")

sometimes this can be a bogus error message, tried opening the file with the same account that it is running the process. I had the same issue in my environment and when I did open the file (with the same credentials running the process), it said that it must be associated with a known program, after I did that I was able to open it and run the process without any errors.

When connecting to SQL Server with Windows Authentication (as opposed to a local SQL Server account), attempting to use a linked server may result in the error message:

Cannot create an instance of OLE DB provider "(OLEDB provider name)"...

The most direct answer to this problem is provided by Microsoft KB 2647989, because "Security settings for the MSDAINITIALIZE DCOM class are incorrect."

The solution is to fix the security settings for MSDAINITIALIZE. In Windows Vista and later, the class is owned by TrustedInstaller, so the ownership of MSDAINITIALIZE must be changed before the security can be adjusted. The KB above has detailed instructions for doing so.

This MSDN blog post describes the reason:

MSDAINITIALIZE is a COM class that is provided by OLE DB. This class can parse OLE DB connection strings and load/initialize the provider based on property values in the connection string. MSDAINITILIAZE is initiated by users connected to SQL Server. If Windows Authentication is used to connect to SQL Server, then the provider is initialized under the logged in user account. If the logged in user is a SQL login, then provider is initialized under SQL Server service account. Based on the type of login used, permissions on MSDAINITIALIZE have to be provided accordingly.

The issue dates back at least to SQL Server 2000; KB 280106 from Microsoft describes the error (see "Message 3") and has the suggested fix of setting the In Process flag for the OLEDB provider.

While setting In Process can solve the immediate problem, it may not be what you want. According to Microsoft,

Instantiating the provider outside the SQL Server process protects the SQL Server process from errors in the provider. When the provider is instantiated outside the SQL Server process, updates or inserts referencing long columns (text, ntext, or image) are not allowed. -- Linked Server Properties doc for SQL Server 2008 R2.

The better answer is to go with the Microsoft guidance and adjust the MSDAINITIALIZE security.

Additionally, that doesn't look like proper phpinfo() output. If you make a file with contents
<? phpinfo(); ?> and visit that page, the HTML output should show several sections, including one with loaded modules. (Edited to add: like shown in the screenshot of the above accepted answer)

I have 2 accounts on my windows machine and I was experiencing this problem with one of them. I did not want to use the sa account, I wanted to use Windows login. It was not immediately obvious to me that I needed to simply sign into the other account that I used to install SQL Server, and add the permissions for the new account from there

(SSMS > Security > Logins > Add a login there)

Easy way to get the full domain name you need to add there open cmd echo each one.

echo %userdomain%\%username%

Add a login for that user and give it all the permissons for master db and other databases you want. When I say "all permissions" make sure NOT to check of any of the "deny" permissions since that will do the opposite.

R.id.*, since ADT 14 are not more declared as final static int so you can not use in switch case construct. You could use if else clause instead.

The key piece of advice seems to be, don't use the 64-bit ASP.DLL (found in system32) if you've configured the app pool to run 32-bit applications (instead, use the 32-bit ASP.DLL).

Add a script map using the following setting:

Request Path: *.asp
Executable: C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\asp.dll
Name: whatever you want. I named my Classic ASP

The executable above is 64 BIT ASP handler for your asp script. If you want your ASP script to be handled in 32 bit environment, you need to use executable from this location: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\inetsrv\asp.dll.

w3wp.exe is a process associated with the application pool in IIS. If you have more than one application pool, you will have more than one instance of w3wp.exe running. This process usually allocates large amounts of resources. It is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

I have crawled through a lot of blog posts including a few Stack Overflow pots, and I already had everything in place what these posts suggested (see below) when I got this error.

1. My app pool is running under ApplicationPoolIdentity
2. Load user Profile was set to True in Process Model section
3. IIS AppPool\DefaultAppPool has full permissions on temp ASP.NET files folder

Finally I found some clues in the below mentioned blog post. It looks like there is heap contention with the same user account. So I changed the app pool identity to LocalSystem, for the app which is failing with this error - and my app started working fine.

Note: LocalSystem account will not have much permissions. In my case my application does not need any special permissions. So I was fine. If your application needs special permissions try configuring a custom account.

You've created a new repository and added some files to the index, but you haven't created your first commit yet. After you've done:

I ran into this problem and inspired by @Jeremy Cook's answer, I bit the bullet to find out what the heck caused IIS 7 Integrated mode to not like my web.config. Here's my scenario:

1. Web API (version 4.0.030506.0 aka the old one)
2. .NET 4.0
3. Attribute Routing 3.5.6 for Web API [spoiler alert: it was this guy!]

I wanted to use attribute routing in a project that (unfortunately) had to use .NET 4 and hence could not use Web API 2.2 (which needs .NET 4.5). The well meaning NuGet package added this section under the <system.web> section:

Summary: I second Jeremy's words that it is important to understand why things don't work rather than just "masking the symptom". Even if you have to mask the symptom, you know what you are doing (and why) :-)

I don't think your problem is with the BouncyCastle keystore; I think the problem is with a broken javax.net.ssl package in Android. The BouncyCastle keystore is a supreme annoyance because Android changed a default Java behavior without documenting it anywhere -- and removed the default provider -- but it does work.

Note that for SSL authentication you may require 2 keystores. The "TrustManager" keystore, which contains the CA certs, and the "KeyManager" keystore, which contains your client-site public/private keys. (The documentation is somewhat vague on what needs to be in the KeyManager keystore.) In theory, you shouldn't need the TrustManager keystore if all of your certficates are signed by "well-known" Certifcate Authorities, e.g., Verisign, Thawte, and so on. Let me know how that works for you. Your server will also require the CA for whatever was used to sign your client.

I could not create an SSL connection using javax.net.ssl at all. I disabled the client SSL authentication on the server side, and I still could not create the connection. Since my end goal was an HTTPS GET, I punted and tried using the Apache HTTP Client that's bundled with Android. That sort-of worked. I could make the HTTPS conection, but I still could not use SSL auth. If I enabled the client SSL authentication on my server, the connection would fail. I haven't checked the Apache HTTP Client code, but I suspect they are using their own SSL implementation, and don't use javax.net.ssl.

Rather than using the ssh:// protocol prefix, you can continue using the conventional URL form for accessing git over SSH, with one small change. As a reminder, the conventional URL is:

git@host:path/to/repo.git

To specify an alternative port, put brackets around the user@host part, including the port:

[git@host:port]:path/to/repo.git

But if the port change is merely temporary, you can tell git to use a different SSH command instead of changing your repository’s remote URL:

PHP has no explicit byte type, but its string is already the equivalent of Java's byte array. You can safely write fputs($connection, "The quick brown fox …"). The only thing you must be aware of is character encoding, they must be the same on both sides. Use mb_convert_encoding() when in doubt.

parseInt() is just going to throw an exception if the parsing can't complete successfully. You can instead use Integers, the corresponding object type, which makes things a little bit cleaner. So you probably want something closer to:

The only way to retrieve the correct value in your context is to run $.ajax() function synchronously (what actually contradicts to main AJAX idea). There is the special configuration attribute async you should set to false. In that case the main scope which actually contains $.ajax() function call is paused until the synchronous function is done, so, the return is called only after $.ajax().

No, not reliably. IE and some other browsers make it available as window.event (not $(window.event)), but that's non-standard and not supported by all browsers (famously, Firefox does not).

You're better off passing the event object into the function:

It is possible that the executable is statically linked and that is why ldd gzip does not see any links - because it isn't. I don't know much about things that far back so I don't know if there would be incompatibilities if libraries are linked in statically. I might expect there to be.

I know it's the most obvious thing going and I'm sure you've done it, but chmod +x ./gzip, yes? No such file or directory is a classic symptom of that not being done, that's why I mention it.

Arrays.asList(factors) returns a List<int[]>, not a List<Integer>. Since you're doing new ArrayList instead of new ArrayList<Integer> you don't get a compile error for that, but create an ArrayList<Object> which contains an int[] and you then implicitly cast that arraylist to ArrayList<Integer>. Of course the first time you try to use one of those "Integers" you get an exception.

Since the person object contains everything from the person table and the job title object contains a list of persons with that job title, the database kept self referencing. I thought disabling proxy creation and lazy loading would fix this but unfortunately it didn't.

For the that aren't able to do that, try the solution above. Explicitly creating a new object for each object that self references, but leave out the list of objects or object that goes back to the previous entity will fix it since disabling lazy loading does not appear to work for me.

FragmentActivity is part of the support library, while Activity is the framework's default class. They are functionally equivalent.

You should always use FragmentActivity and android.support.v4.app.Fragment instead of the platform default Activity and android.app.Fragment classes. Using the platform defaults mean that you are relying on whatever implementation of fragments is used in the device you are running on. These are often multiple years old, and contain bugs that have since been fixed in the support library.

solve(c) does give the correct inverse. The issue with your code is that you are using the wrong operator for matrix multiplication. You should use solve(c) %*% c to invoke matrix multiplication in R.

R performs element by element multiplication when you invoke solve(c) * c.

This error happens when you add an external library which may not be compatible with your compileSdkVersion .

Be careful when you are adding an external library.

I spent 2 days on this problem and finally it got solved following these steps.

• Make sure all your support libraries are same as compileSdkVersion of your build.gradle(Module:app) in my case it is 26.

• In your defaultConfig category type multiDexEnabled true. This is the important part.

• Go to File | Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Instant Run and try to Enable/Disable Instant Run to hot swap... and click okay

• Sync Your project.

• Lastly, Go to Build | click on Rebuild Project.

• Note: Rebuild Project first cleans and then builds the project.

In this case a relatively simple GROUP BY can work, but in general, when there are additional columns where you can't order by but you want them from the particular row which they are associated with, you can either join back to the detail using all the parts of the key or use OVER():

First of all, don't try the following command as suggested by Germain above.

   `sudo apt-get remove 'python3.*'`

In Ubuntu, many software depends upon Python3 so if you will execute this command it will remove all of them as it happened with me. I found following answer useful to recover it.

I'm posting a correct implementation of a shuffle algorithm, since the other one posted here doesn't produce a uniform shuffle.

As the other answer states, for small numbers of values to be randomized, you can simply fill an array with those values, shuffle the array, and then use however many of the values that you want.

The following is an implementation of the Fisher-Yates Shuffle (aka the Knuth Shuffle). (Read the "implementation errors" section of that link (search for "always selecting j from the entire range of valid array indices on every iteration") to see some discussion about what is wrong with the other implementation posted here.)

Make sure -lstdc++ is at the end of the command. If you place it at the beginning (i.e. before file.c), you still can get this same error.

there are other examples for different mouse controls, but both of these allow the camera to rotate around a point and zoom in and out with the mouse wheel, the main difference is OrbitControls enforces the camera up direction, and TrackballControls allows the camera to rotate upside-down.

All you have to do is include the controls in your html document

If you want STDOUT and STDERR both [everything], then the simplest way is:

the ">&" means STDERR and STDOUT. the & also works the same way with a pipe: ./script |& sed that will send everything to sed

So try uninstalling all other versions other than the one you need, then set the JAVA_HOMEpath variable for that JDK remaining, and you're done.

That's worked for me, I have two JDK (version 8 & 11) installed on my local mac, that causes the issue, for uninstalling, I followed these two steps:

• cd /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines
• rm -rf openjdk-11.0.1.jdk

In Java, an initializer with the declaration means the field is always initialized the same way, regardless of which constructor is used (if you have more than one) or the parameters of your constructors (if they have arguments), although a constructor might subsequently change the value (if it is not final). So using an initializer with a declaration suggests to a reader that the initialized value is the value that the field has in all cases, regardless of which constructor is used and regardless of the parameters passed to any constructor. Therefore use an initializer with the declaration only if, and always if, the value for all constructed objects is the same.

I had the same problem and I could not make this answer work on Framework 2.0 so I dug deeper.

You would have to first handle the PreviewKeyDown on the textbox so when ENTER came along you would set IsInputKey so that it could be handled by or forwarded to the keyDown event on the textbox. Like this:

Comparator is a functional interface, and Integer::max complies with that interface (after autoboxing/unboxing is taken into consideration). It takes two int values and returns an int - just as you'd expect a Comparator<Integer> to (again, squinting to ignore the Integer/int difference).

However, I wouldn't expect it to do the right thing, given that Integer.max doesn't comply with the semantics of Comparator.compare. And indeed it doesn't really work in general. For example, make one small change:

It's about a question as to why a service can't execute a file, but it shows all the code necessary to do so.

I had the same problem because I didn't put the props in the curly braces.

There are all sorts of things you can look out for, but it doesn't really give you any certainty as to the technology behind a site. In general, information like that is something people will want to hide, as the more information that is exposed the easier it might be for malicious parties to identify security vulnerabilities or denial of service holes.

If I was interested I'd probably look, in no particular order, at:

• urls, and file extensions.
• HTTP response headers
• Source code for comments, or standard JS libraries

Incidentally, the tools mentioned in other answers are only looking at some of the above properties of the site for you, albeit automatically, and slightly quicker. :)

I've occasionally thought that it might serve a purpose to add a layer of security by obscuring the back-end interpreter through a remapping of .php or whatever to .aspx or whatever so that any potential hacker would be sent down the wrong path, at least for a while. I never bothered to try it and I don't do a lot of webserver work any more so I'm unlikely to.

However, I'd be interested in the perspective of an experienced server admin on that notion.

To piggyback on what CommonsWare and Key have said, you could perhaps extend the Application class and have all of your activities call that on their onPause/onResume methods. This would allow you to know which Activity(ies) are visible, but this could probably be handled better.

Can you elaborate on what you have in mind exactly? When you say running in the background do you mean simply having your application still in memory even though it is not currently on screen? Have you looked into using Services as a more persistent way to manage your app when it is not in focus?

When nginx returns 400(bad request) it will log the reason into error log, at "info" level and take a look into error log when testing.

One classic root cause for this message is:

• when the repo has been initialized (git init lis4368/assignments),
• but no commit has ever been made

Ie, if you don't have added and committed at least once, there won't be a local master branch to push to.

Try first to create a commit:

• either by adding (git add .) then git commit -m "first commit"
  (assuming you have the right files in place to add to the index)
• or by create a first empty commit: git commit --allow-empty -m "Initial empty commit"

And then try git push -u origin master again.

This does work for a specific delimiter for a specific amount of characters between the delimiter. I had many issues attempting to use this in a for each loop where the position changed but the delimiter was the same. For example I was using the backslash as the delimiter and wanted to only use everything to the right of the backslash. The issue was that once the position was defined (71 characters from the beginning) it would use $pos as 71 every time regardless of where the delimiter actually was in the script. I found another method of using a delimiter and .split to break things up then used the split variable to call the sections For instance the first section was $variable[0] and the second section was $variable[1].

I had the same problem and found two different solutions (see this thread for more details). Both reduced the size of my uncompressed PDF dramatically.

• Pixelated (lossy):

  convert input.pdf -compress Zip output.pdf
  

• Unpixelated (lossless, but may display slightly differently):

  gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -dPDFSETTINGS=/screen -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH  -dQUIET -sOutputFile=output.pdf input.pdf
  

Edit: I just discovered another option (for lossless compression), which avoids the nasty gs command. qpdf is a neat tool that converts PDFs (compression/decompression, encryption/decryption), and is much faster than the gs command:

qpdf --linearize input.pdf output.pdf

I was looking for a way to create a large dummy file with space allocation recently. All of the solutions look awkward. Finally I just started the DISKPART utility in Windows (embedded since Windows Vista):

It's automatically initialized before main if it's loaded and has a constructor. That might sound like a good thing, but initialization order is largely beyond your control, so complex initialization becomes very difficult to maintain, and you want to minimize this -- if you must have a static, then function local scales much better across libraries and projects. As far as data with static storage duration, you should try to minimize this design, particularly if mutable (global variables). Initialization 'time' also varies for a number of reasons -- the loader and kernel have some tricks to minimize memory footprints and defer initialization, depending on the data in question.

The first one is normal SVG, the second one is inside a shadow dom.

The main difference between each of these is the precision.

float is a 32-bit number, double is a 64-bit number and decimal is a 128-bit number.

Short answer: Use mock when you're passing in the thing that you want mocked, and patch if you're not. Of the two, mock is strongly preferred because it means you're writing code with proper dependency injection.

This procedure may make more sense for other data series. In my case I have timeseries data, so the MultiIndex consists of datetime and categories. It is also possible to use this approach for more than one column to color by, but the legend is getting a mess.

I had NestedScrollView inside ConstraintLayout, and this NestedScrollView has one ConstraintLayout.

If you're facing issue with NestedScrollView,

add android:fillViewport="true" to NestedScrollView, worked.

The "json" datatype that you can pass as the last parameter to post() indicates what type of data the function is expecting in the server's response, not what type it's sending in the request. Specifically it sets the "Accept" header.

Honestly your best bet is to switch to an ajax() call. The post() function is meant as a convenience; a simplified version of the ajax() call for when you are just doing a simple form posting. You aren't.

If you really don't want to switch, you could make your own function called, say, xpost(), and have it simply transform the given parameters into parameters for a jQuery ajax() call, with the content-type set. Depending on how drastic your resize is you can might skip step 2 if the difference is less.

In the demo you can see the new result is now much similar to the image element.

You should specially have a look on your global or static data (long living data).

When this data grows without restriction, you can also get troubles in Python.

The garbage collector can only collect data, that is not referenced any more. But your static data can hookup data elements that should be freed.

Another problem can be memory cycles, but at least in theory the Garbage collector should find and eliminate cycles -- at least as long as they are not hooked on some long living data.

What kinds of long living data are specially troublesome? Have a good look on any lists and dictionaries -- they can grow without any limit. In dictionaries you might even don't see the trouble coming since when you access dicts, the number of keys in the dictionary might not be of big visibility to you ...

I know its late replying to this question, but I have recently found a better solution to this problem without installing any plugin. We can create a formatted version number and can then use the variable created to display the build date/time. Steps to create: Build Environment --> Create a formatted version number:

• Environment Variable Name: BUILD_DATE

There is a built in method which would be the fastest method also, calling tolist on the .values np array:

It allows you to define configmaps or secrets to watch, when they get updated, a rolling update of your deployment is performed. Here's an example:

<mvc:annotation-driven> 

registers a RequestMappingHanderMapping, a RequestMappingHandlerAdapter, and an ExceptionHandlerExceptionResolver to support the annotated controller methods like @RequestMapping, @ExceptionHandler, etc. that come with MVC.

This also enables a ConversionService that supports Annotation driven formatting of outputs as well as Annotation driven validation for inputs. It also enables support for @ResponseBody which you can use to return JSON data.

You can accomplish the same things using Java-based Configuration using @ComponentScan(basePackages={"...", "..."} and @EnableWebMvc in a @Configuration class.

When using Flask (I am using it with flat pages)... I found that enabling explicitly (was not by default for some reason) 'attr_list' in extensions within the call to markdown does the trick - and then one can use the attributes (very useful also to access CSS - class="my class" for example...).

Posting your HTML might help a bit. Instead, you can get the element first and then check if it is null or not and then ask for its value rather than just asking for the value directly without knowing if the element is visible on the HTML or not.

Field#set(Object object, Object value) sets the field represented by this Field object on the specified object argument to the specified new value.

It should be like this

f.set(objectOfTheClass, new ConcurrentHashMap<>());

You can't set any value in null Object If tried then it will result in NullPointerException

Note: Setting a field's value via reflection has a certain amount of performance overhead because various operations must occur such as validating access permissions. From the runtime's point of view, the effects are the same, and the operation is as atomic as if the value was changed in the class code directly.

Don't know about what the error you are facing exactly. But log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger error, is due to the log4j jar file that you have included in your project.

Initializing log4j is needed but actually Log4j is not necessary for your project. So Right click on your Project → Properties → Java Build Path → Libraries.. Search for log4j jar file and remove it.

I would just recommend creating a new virtual environment and installing all the packages from the start as the wheels for some packages might have been installed for the previous version of the Python. I believe this is the safest way and you have two options.

1. Creating a new virtual environment with venv:

   python3.6 -m venv -n new_env
   source venv_env/bin/activate
   

2. Creating a conda environment:

   conda create -n new_env python=3.6
   conda activate new_env
   

The packages you install in an environment are built based on the Python version of the environment and if you do not carefully modify the existing environment, then, you can cause some incompatibilities between packages. That is why I would recommend a using a new environment built with Python 3.6.

The most reliable way I've found to display the local time of a city or location is by tapping into a Time Zone API such as Google Time Zone API. It returns the correct time zone, and more importantly, Day Light Savings Time offset of any location, which just using JavaScript's Date() object cannot be done as far as I'm aware. I know that due to this ugly anonymous inner class usage of TransactionTemplate doesn't look nice, but when for some reason we want to have a test method transactional IMHO it is the most flexible option.

In some cases (it depends on the application type) the best way to use transactions in Spring tests is a turned-off @Transactional on the test methods. Why? Because @Transactional may leads to many false-positive tests. You may look at this sample article to find out details. In such cases TransactionTemplate can be perfect for controlling transaction boundries when we want that control.

This is what worked for me:

In regards Jared's response, having Windows 2000 or better will not necessarily fix the issue at hand. Rob's response does work, however it is possible that this fix introduces security issues, as Windows updates will not be able to patch applications built as such.

LINQ is a query tool (Q = Query) - so there is no magic LINQ way to update just the single row, except through the (object-oriented) data-context (in the case of LINQ-to-SQL). To update data, you need to fetch it out, update the record, and submit the changes:

Maximum is, as you see, 64k. The default is much smaller.

BTW Results to Text has even more drastic limitation:

This is a old question, and the OP seems to mix C++ and C in his intends/examples. In C, when you pass a array to a function, it's decayed to pointer. So, there is no way to pass the array size except by using a second argument in your function that stores the array size:

void func(int A[]) 
// should be instead: void func(int * A, const size_t elemCountInA)

They are very few cases, where you don't need this, like when you're using multidimensional arrays:

void func(int A[3][whatever here]) // That's almost as if read "int* A[3]"

Using the array notation in a function signature is still useful, for the developer, as it might be an help to tell how many elements your functions expects. For example:

void vec_add(float out[3], float in0[3], float in1[3])

is easier to understand than this one (although, nothing prevent accessing the 4th element in the function in both functions):

void vec_add(float * out, float * in0, float * in1)

If you were to use C++, then you can actually capture the array size and get what you expect:
