Android App Not Install. An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed

The problem is the keys that have been used to sign the APKs, by default if you are running directly from your IDE and opening your Emulator, the APK installed in the Emulator is signed with your debug-key(usually installed in ~/.android/debug.keystore), so if the previous APK was signed with a different key other than the one you are currently using you will always get the signatures conflict, in order to fix it, make sure you are using the very same key to sign both APKs, even if the previous APK was signed with a debug-key from another SDK, the keys will definitely be different.

Also if you don't know exactly what key was used before to sign the apk and yet you want to install the new version of your app, you can just uninstall the previous application and reinstall the new one.

You need to create the object first (the new line) and then push it onto the end of the array (the [] line).

You can also do this:

Can I position an element fixed relative to parent?

The CSS specification requires that position:fixed be anchored to the viewport, not the containing positioned element.

If you must specify your coordinates relative to a parent, you will have to use JavaScript to find the parent's position relative to the viewport first, then set the child (fixed) element's position accordingly.

ALTERNATIVE: Some browsers have sticky CSS support which limits an element to be positioned within both its container and the viewport. Per the commit message:

sticky ... constrains an element to be positioned inside the intersection of its container box, and the viewport.

A stickily positioned element behaves like position:relative (space is reserved for it in-flow), but with an offset that is determined by the sticky position. Changed isInFlowPositioned() to cover relative and sticky.

Depending on your design goals, this behavior may be helpful in some cases. It is currently a working draft, and has decent support, aside from table elements. position: sticky still needs a -webkit prefix in Safari.

CSS: 100% font size - 100% of what?

As you showed convincingly, the font-size: 100%; will not render the same in all browsers. However, you will set your font face in your CSS file, so this will be the same (or a fallback) in all browsers.

I believe font-size: 100%; can be very useful when combining it with em-based design. As this article shows, this will create a very flexible website.

When is this useful? When your site needs to adapt to the visitors' wishes. Take for example an elderly man that puts his default font-size at 24 px. Or someone with a small screen with a large resolution that increases his default font-size because he otherwise has to squint. Most sites would break, but em-based sites are able to cope with these situations.

Purpose of #!/usr/bin/python3 shebang

#!/usr/bin/python3 is a shebang line.

A shebang line defines where the interpreter is located. In this case, the python3 interpreter is located in /usr/bin/python3. A shebang line could also be a bash, ruby, perl or any other scripting languages' interpreter, for example: #!/bin/bash.

Without the shebang line, the operating system does not know it's a python script, even if you set the execution flag (chmod +x script.py) on the script and run it like ./script.py. To make the script run by default in python3, either invoke it as python3 script.py or set the shebang line.

You can use #!/usr/bin/env python3 for portability across different systems in case they have the language interpreter installed in different locations.

Alternative option:

Instead of rewrite the history, you may simply create a new commit which negates the changes introduced by your bad commit, to do this just type git revert <your bad commit hash>. This option is maybe not as clean, but is far more safe (in case you are not fully aware of what are you doing with an interactive rebase).

A covered query is a query where all the columns in the query's result set are pulled from non-clustered indexes.

A query is made into a covered query by the judicious arrangement of indexes.

A covered query is often more performant than a non-covered query in part because non-clustered indexes have more rows per page than clustered indexes or heap indexes, so fewer pages need to be brought into memory in order to satisfy the query. They have more rows per page because only part of the table row is part of the index row.

A covering index is an index which is used in a covered query. There is no such thing as an index which, in and of itself, is a covering index. An index may be a covering index with respect to query A, while at the same time not being a covering index with respect to query B.

It might be easier with vlookup. Try this:

The IFERROR() is for no matches, so that it throws "" in such cases.

VLOOKUP's first parameter is the value to 'look for' in the reference table, which is column G and H.

VLOOKUP will thus look for D2 in column G and return the value in the column index 2 (column G has column index 1, H will have column index 2), meaning that the value from column H will be returned.

The last parameter is 0 (or equivalently FALSE) to mean an exact match. That's what you need as opposed to approximate match.

Why are #ifndef and #define used in C++ header files?

They are called ifdef or include guards.

If writing a small program it might seems that it is not needed, but as the project grows you could intentionally or unintentionally include one file many times, which can result in compilation warning like variable already declared.

#ifndef checks whether HEADERFILE_H is not declared.
#define will declare HEADERFILE_H once #ifndef generates true.
#endif is to know the scope of #ifndef i.e end of #ifndef

If it is not declared which means #ifndef generates true then only the part between #ifndef and #endif executed otherwise not. This will prevent from again declaring the identifiers, enums, structure, etc...

Send data from javascript to a mysql database

JavaScript, as defined in your question, can't directly work with MySql. This is because it isn't running on the same computer.

JavaScript runs on the client side (in the browser), and databases usually exist on the server side. You'll probably need to use an intermediate server-side language (like PHP, Java, .Net, or a server-side JavaScript stack like Node.js) to do the query.

Here's a tutorial on how to write some code that would bind PHP, JavaScript, and MySql together, with code running both in the browser, and on a server:

And here's the code from that page. It doesn't exactly match your scenario (it does a query, and doesn't store data in the DB), but it might help you start to understand the types of interactions you'll need in order to make this work.

UIWebView open links in Safari

The other answers have one problem: they rely on the action you do and not on the link itself to decide whether to load it in Safari or in webview.

Now sometimes this is exactly what you want, which is fine; but some other times, especially if you have anchor links in your page, you want really to open only external links in Safari, and not internal ones. In that case you should check the URL.host property of your request.

Hyper-V: Create shared folder between host and guest with internal network

  • Open Hyper-V Manager
  • Create a new internal virtual switch (e.g. "Internal Network Connection")
  • Go to your Virtual Machine and create a new Network Adapter -> choose "Internal Network Connection" as virtual switch
  • Start the VM
  • Assign both your host as well as guest an IP address as well as a Subnet mask (IP4, e.g. 192.168.1.1 (host) / 192.168.1.2 (guest) and 255.255.255.0)
  • Open cmd both on host and guest and check via "ping" if host and guest can reach each other (if this does not work disable/enable the network adapter via the network settings in the control panel, restart...)
  • If successfull create a folder in the VM (e.g. "VMShare"), right-click on it -> Properties -> Sharing -> Advanced Sharing -> checkmark "Share this folder" -> Permissions -> Allow "Full Control" -> Apply

Wordpress keeps redirecting to install-php after migration

It seems that in general, this happens when Wordpress doesn't find the site information in the expected places (tables) in the database. It thinks no site has been created yet, so it starts going through the installation process.

This situation means that:

  1. Wordpress WAS ABLE to connect to a database. If it didn't, it would say there was an error and refuse to install or do anything else

AND

  1. it didn't find the things it was looking for in the expected places in the database it connected to.

Just to be clear, both 1) and 2) are happening when you see this symptom.

Possible causes:

  • Wrong database. You're working on several projects and you copied and pasted wrong database name, database host, or table prefix to the wp-config file. So now, you're unwittingly destroying ANOTHER client's website while agonizing over why isn't THIS website working at all.

  • Wrong database prefix. You can put several Wordpress sites in one database by using different prefixes for each. Make sure the tables in the database have the same prefixes as you entered in your wp-config. So, if wp-config says: $table_prefix = 'wp_'; Check that the tables in your database are called "wp_options", etc. and not "WP_options", "mysite_options" or something like that.

  • The data in the database is corrupted. Maybe you messed up while importing the sql dump, you imported a truncated file, a file belonging to some other project, or whatever.

Why would I use dirname(__FILE__) in an include or include_once statement?

I might have even a simpler explanation to this question compared to the accepted answer so I'm going to give it a go: Assume this is the structure of the files and directories of a project:

Project root directory:
                       file1.php
                       file3.php
                       dir1/
                            file2.php

(dir1 is a directory and file2.php is inside it)

And this is the content of each of the three files above:

<?php echo "Hello, Test!";

Now run file1.php and try to guess what should happen. You might expect to see "Hello, Test!", however, it won't be shown! What you'll get instead will be an error indicating that the file you have requested(file3.php) does not exist!

The reason is that, inside file1.php when you include file2.php, the content of it is getting copied and then pasted back directly into file1.php which is inside the root directory, thus this part "../file3.php" runs from the root directory and thus goes one directory up the root! (and obviously it won't find the file3.php).

Now, what should we do ?!

Relative paths of course have the problem above, so we have to use absolute paths. However, absolute paths have also one problem. If you (for example) copy the root folder (containing your whole project) and paste it in anywhere else on your computer, the paths will be invalid from that point on! And that'll be a REAL MESS!

So we kind of need paths that are both absolute and dynamic(Each file dynamically finds the absolute path of itself wherever we place it)!

The way we do that is by getting help from PHP, and dirname() is the function to go for, which gives the absolute path to the directory in which a file exists in. And each file name could also be easily accessed using the __FILE__ constant. So dirname(__FILE__) would easily give you the absolute (while dynamic!) path to the file we're typing in the above code. Now move your whole project to a new place, or even a new system, and tada! it works!

So now if we turn the project above to this:

What system are you using? Webpack? Vue-loader?

I'll only brainstorming here...

Because .png is not a JavaScript file, you will need to configure Webpack to use file-loader or url-loader to handle them. The project scaffolded with vue-cli has also configured this for you.

You can take a look at webpack.conf.js in order to see if it's well configured like

How to delete Project from Google Developers Console

The delete button is right there where the help page says it is.

To shut down a project using the Cloud Platform Console:

  • Open the Settings page in the Google Cloud Platform Console.

  • Click Select a project.

  • Select a project you wish to delete, and click Open.

  • Enter the Project ID and click Shut down.

Please note that there is a 7-day grace period before the project is actually purged from the system. Which means you won't be able to immediately create another project with the same name.

OP here, I have learned a lot more about node since I first asked this question. Though Dmitry's answer was very helpful, what ultimately did it for me is to install node with the correct permissions.

I highly recommend not installing node using any package managers, but rather to compile it yourself so that it resides in a local directory with normal permissions.

Although there is nothing wrong with the other solutions presented, you could simplify and greatly escalate your solutions by using python's excellent library pandas.

Pandas is a library for handling data in Python, preferred by many Data Scientists.

Pandas has a simplified CSV interface to read and parse files, that can be used to return a list of dictionaries, each containing a single line of the file. The keys will be the column names, and the values will be the ones in each cell.

How to parse a text file with C#

Use Glib::ustring from glibmm.

It is the only widespread UTF-8 string container (AFAIK). While glyph (not byte) based, it has the same method signatures as std::string so the port should be simple search and replace (just make sure that your data is valid UTF-8 before loading it into a ustring).
