If you see the error in problem panel it will say : Description Resource Path Location Type Project configuration is not up-to-date with pom.xml. Select: Maven->Update Project... from the project context menu or use Quick Fix.

Solution : Right click on project > select : Maven->Update Project

In the example you gave, the method will never throw an IOException, therefore the declaration is wrong (but valid). My guess is that the original method threw the IOException, but it was then updated to handle the exception within but the declaration was not changed.

Above posts answers questions related to URL Encoding and How it works, but the original questions was "Should I URL-encode POST data?" which isn't answered.

From my recent experience with URL Encoding, I would like to extend the question further. "Should I URL-encode POST data, same as GET HTTP method. Generally, HTML Forms over the Browser if are filled, submitted and/or GET some information, Browsers will do URL Encoding but If an application exposes a web-service and expects Consumers to do URL-Encoding on data, is it Architecturally and Technically correct to do URL Encode with POST HTTP method ?"

Not sure where you get your legends from but:

Submit button with <button>

As with:

<button type="submit">(html content)</button>

IE6 will submit all text for this button between the tags, other browsers will only submit the value. Using <button> gives you more layout freedom over the design of the button. In all its intents and purposes, it seemed excellent at first, but various browser quirks make it hard to use at times.

In your example, IE6 will send text to the server, while most other browsers will send nothing. To make it cross-browser compatible, use <button type="submit" value="text">text</button>. Better yet: don't use the value, because if you add HTML it becomes rather tricky what is received on server side. Instead, if you must send an extra value, use a hidden field.

Button with <input>

As with:

<input type="button" />

By default, this does next to nothing. It will not even submit your form. You can only place text on the button and give it a size and a border by means of CSS. Its original (and current) intent was to execute a script without the need to submit the form to the server.

Normal submit button with <input>

As with:

<input type="submit" />

Like the former, but actually submits the surrounding form.

Image submit button with <input>

As with:

<input type="image" />

Like the former (submit), it will also submit a form, but you can use any image. This used to be the preferred way to use images as buttons when a form needed submitting. For more control, <button> is now used. This can also be used for server side image maps but that's a rarity these days. When you use the usemap-attribute and (with or without that attribute), the browser will send the mouse-pointer X/Y coordinates to the server (more precisely, the mouse-pointer location inside the button of the moment you click it). If you just ignore these extras, it is nothing more than a submit button disguised as an image.

There are some subtle differences between browsers, but all will submit the value-attribute, except for the <button> tag as explained above.

The reason eval and exec are so dangerous is that the default compile function will generate bytecode for any valid python expression, and the default eval or exec will execute any valid python bytecode. All the answers to date have focused on restricting the bytecode that can be generated (by sanitizing input) or building your own domain-specific-language using the AST.

Instead, you can easily create a simple eval function that is incapable of doing anything nefarious and can easily have runtime checks on memory or time used. Of course, if it is simple math, than there is a shortcut.

The way this works is simple, any constant mathematic expression is safely evaluated during compilation and stored as a constant. The code object returned by compile consists of d, which is the bytecode for LOAD_CONST, followed by the number of the constant to load (usually the last one in the list), followed by S, which is the bytecode for RETURN_VALUE. If this shortcut doesn't work, it means that the user input isn't a constant expression (contains a variable or function call or similar).

This also opens the door to some more sophisticated input formats. For example:

This requires actually evaluating the bytecode, which is still quite simple. Python bytecode is a stack oriented language, so everything is a simple matter of TOS=stack.pop(); op(TOS); stack.put(TOS) or similar. The key is to only implement the opcodes that are safe (loading/storing values, math operations, returning values) and not unsafe ones (attribute lookup). If you want the user to be able to call functions (the whole reason not to use the shortcut above), simple make your implementation of CALL_FUNCTION only allow functions in a 'safe' list.

Obviously, the real version of this would be a bit longer (there are 119 opcodes, 24 of which are math related). Adding STORE_FAST and a couple others would allow for input like 'x=5;return x+x or similar, trivially easily. It can even be used to execute user-created functions, so long as the user created functions are themselves executed via VMeval (don't make them callable!!! or they could get used as a callback somewhere). Handling loops requires support for the goto bytecodes, which means changing from a for iterator to while and maintaining a pointer to the current instruction, but isn't too hard. For resistance to DOS, the main loop should check how much time has passed since the start of the calculation, and certain operators should deny input over some reasonable limit (BINARY_POWER being the most obvious).

While this approach is somewhat longer than a simple grammar parser for simple expressions (see above about just grabbing the compiled constant), it extends easily to more complicated input, and doesn't require dealing with grammar (compile take anything arbitrarily complicated and reduces it to a sequence of simple instructions).

Well, you pretty much gave yourself the answer. In your CSS give the containing element a min-width. If you have to support IE6 you can use the min-width-trick:

C++ and Java are different languages.

The Java C-style cast operator is much more restricted than the C/C++ version. Effectively the Java cast is like the C++ dynamic_cast if the object you have cannot be cast to the new class you will get a run time (or if there is enough information in the code a compile time) exception. Thus the C++ idea of not using C type casts is not a good idea in Java

On the Mac version I was getting the error when trying to run JSON-Clojure.json.clj, which is the script to export a database table to JSON. To get it to work I had to download the latest Clojure JAR from http://clojure.org/ and then right-click on PHPStorm app in the Finder and "Show Package Contents". Then go to Contents in there. Then open the lib folder, and see a bunch of .jar files. Copy the clojure-1.8.0.jar file from the unzipped archive I downloaded from clojure.org into the aforementioned lib folder inside the PHPStorm.app/Contents/lib. Restart the app. Now it freaking works.

EDIT: You also have to put the JSR-223 script engine into PHPStorm.app/Contents/lib. It can be built from https://github.com/ato/clojure-jsr223 or downloaded from https://www.dropbox.com/s/jg7s0c41t5ceu7o/clojure-jsr223-1.5.1.jar?dl=0 .

Jon Resig illustrated in this article how this could be achieved by extending the Array prototype and invoking the underlying Math.min method which unfortunately doesn't take an array but a variable number of arguments:

You're in luck bud...I had the same issue but had more tech knowledge on the matter and was able to determine that it was a mod_sec issue that hostgator has to fix/whitelist on their own. You cannot do it yourself. Simply ask the hostgator tech to check mod_sec settings on your server.

The documentation is a bit useless on this. It says:

Destroys the session, removing req.session, will be re-generated next request. req.session.destroy(function(err) { // cannot access session here })

This does not mean that the current session will be re-loaded on the next request. It means that a clean empty session will be created in your session store on next request. (Presumably the session ID isn't changing, but I have not tested that.)

For those who don't want to do the build-from-source approach of the (otherwise excellent installer script by John Maddox, the following worked for me when installing on CentOS 6.2. (Adjust your package manager as necessary).

For those of you who are having this issue on Android Studio, I had the same problem after a merge and for some reason it even persisted after clean and invalidate cash/restart operations which was driving me crazy.

Turns out, it can be fixed by running gradle build once from command line. Simply run the following n the project directory:

./gradlew assemble clean
./gradlew assemble

I hope it'd save someone the time waste and frustration I had to go through.

Have you tried setting the selection properties of your tableView like this:

If you want more fine-grain control over when selection is allowed you can override - (NSIndexPath *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView willSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath in your UITableView delegate. The documentation states:

Return Value An index-path object that confirms or alters the selected row. Return an NSIndexPath object other than indexPath if you want another cell to be selected. Return nil if you don't want the row selected. 

You can have this method return nil in cases where you don't want the selection to happen.

I know there's a lot of answers here, but they all seem a bit confusing. So after doing some research from the Java oracle study guide, I've come up with three different scenarios of when to use && or &. The three scenarios are logical AND, bitwise AND, and boolean AND.

Logical AND: Logical AND (aka Conditional AND) uses the && operator. It's short-circuited meaning: if the left operand is false, then the right operand will not be evaluated.
Example:

if (false && (1 == ++x) {
    System.out.println("Inside of if");
}
System.out.println(x); // "0"

In the above example the value printed to the console of x will be 0, because the first operand in the if statement is false, hence java has no need to compute (1 == ++x) therefore x will not be computed.

Bitwise AND: Bitwise AND uses the & operator. It's used to preform a bitwise operation on the value. It's much easier to see what's going on by looking at operation on binary numbers ex:

As you can see in the example, when the binary representations of the numbers 5 and 12 are lined up, then a bitwise AND preformed will only produce a binary number where the same digit in both numbers have a 1. Hence 0101 & 1100 == 0100. Which in decimal is 5 & 12 == 4.

Boolean AND: Now the boolean AND operator behaves similarly and differently to both the bitwise AND and logical AND. I like to think of it as preforming a bitwise AND between two boolean values (or bits), therefore it uses & operator. The boolean values can be the result of a logical expression too.

It returns either a true or false value, much like the logical AND, but unlike the logical AND it is not short-circuited. The reason being, is that for it to preform that bitwise AND, it must know the value of both left and right operands. Here's an ex:

Now when that if statement is ran, the expression (1 == ++x) will be executed, even though the left operand is false. Hence the value printed out for x will be 1 because it got incremented.

This also applies to Logical OR (||), bitwise OR (|), and boolean OR (|) Hope this clears up some confusion.

What parsers and lexers have in common:

1. They read symbols of some alphabet from their input.

   • Hint: The alphabet doesn't necessarily have to be of letters. But it has to be of symbols which are atomic for the language understood by parser/lexer.
   • Symbols for the lexer: ASCII characters.
   • Symbols for the parser: the particular tokens, which are terminal symbols of their grammar.

2. They analyse these symbols and try to match them with the grammar of the language they understood.
   

   • Here's where the real difference usually lies. See below for more.
   • Grammar understood by lexers: regular grammar (Chomsky's level 3).
   • Grammar understood by parsers: context-free grammar (Chomsky's level 2).

3. They attach semantics (meaning) to the language pieces they find.

   • Lexers attach meaning by classifying lexemes (strings of symbols from the input) as the particular tokens. E.g. All these lexemes: *, ==, <=, ^ will be classified as "operator" token by the C/C++ lexer.
   • Parsers attach meaning by classifying strings of tokens from the input (sentences) as the particular nonterminals and building the parse tree. E.g. all these token strings: [number][operator][number], [id][operator][id], [id][operator][number][operator][number] will be classified as "expression" nonterminal by the C/C++ parser.

4. They can attach some additional meaning (data) to the recognized elements.

   • When a lexer recognizes a character sequence constituting a proper number, it can convert it to its binary value and store with the "number" token.
   • Similarly, when a parser recognize an expression, it can compute its value and store with the "expression" node of the syntax tree.

5. They all produce on their output a proper sentences of the language they recognize.

   • Lexers produce tokens, which are sentences of the regular language they recognize. Each token can have an inner syntax (though level 3, not level 2), but that doesn't matter for the output data and for the one which reads them.
   • Parsers produce syntax trees, which are representations of sentences of the context-free language they recognize. Usually it's only one big tree for the whole document/source file, because the whole document/source file is a proper sentence for them. But there aren't any reasons why parser couldn't produce a series of syntax trees on its output. E.g. it could be a parser which recognizes SGML tags sticked into plain-text. So it'll tokenize the SGML document into a series of tokens: [TXT][TAG][TAG][TXT][TAG][TXT]....

As you can see, parsers and tokenizers have much in common. One parser can be a tokenizer for other parser, which reads its input tokens as symbols from its own alphabet (tokens are simply symbols of some alphabet) in the same way as sentences from one language can be alphabetic symbols of some other, higher-level language. For example, if * and - are the symbols of the alphabet M (as "Morse code symbols"), then you can build a parser which recognizes strings of these dots and lines as letters encoded in the Morse code. The sentences in the language "Morse Code" could be tokens for some other parser, for which these tokens are atomic symbols of its language (e.g. "English Words" language). And these "English Words" could be tokens (symbols of the alphabet) for some higher-level parser which understands "English Sentences" language. And all these languages differ only in the complexity of the grammar. Nothing more.

So what's all about these "Chomsky's grammar levels"? Well, Noam Chomsky classified grammars into four levels depending on their complexity:

• Level 3: Regular grammars

  They use regular expressions, that is, they can consist only of the symbols of alphabet (a,b), their concatenations (ab,aba,bbb etd.), or alternatives (e.g. a|b).
  They can be implemented as finite state automata (FSA), like NFA (Nondeterministic Finite Automaton) or better DFA (Deterministic Finite Automaton).
  Regular grammars can't handle with nested syntax, e.g. properly nested/matched parentheses (()()(()())), nested HTML/BBcode tags, nested blocks etc. It's because state automata to deal with it should have to have infinitely many states to handle infinitely many nesting levels.

• Level 2: Context-free grammars

  They can have nested, recursive, self-similar branches in their syntax trees, so they can handle with nested structures well.
  They can be implemented as state automaton with stack. This stack is used to represent the nesting level of the syntax. In practice, they're usually implemented as a top-down, recursive-descent parser which uses machine's procedure call stack to track the nesting level, and use recursively called procedures/functions for every non-terminal symbol in their syntax.
  But they can't handle with a context-sensitive syntax. E.g. when you have an expression x+3 and in one context this x could be a name of a variable, and in other context it could be a name of a function etc.

• Level 1: Context-sensitive grammars

• Level 0: Unrestricted grammars
  Also called recursively enumerable grammars.

You may get find yourself in the situation where you have users trying to enter phone numbers with all sorts of separators between area code and the main number block (e.g., spaces, dashes, periods, ect...) So you'll want to strip the input of all characters that are not numbers so you can sterilize the input you are working with. The easiest way to do this is with a RegEx expression.

Use the remove/erase idiom:

Although most of these previous answers will work, I suggest you explore the provider or BloC architectures, both of which have been recommended by Google.

I encountered some weird behaviour that did not reflect the actual code base so after some time trying several solutions, my problem was solved by manually deleting everything under /var/cache/tomcat8/

Instead of '\' or another character on the keyboard, you can also use special characters that aren't on the keyboard. Depending o your use case this might be necessary, if you don't want user input to accidentally be used as an escape character.

That said, I personally find this a bad idea. Rather give it direct access to the parameters or pass the parameters to it.

Although not usually a concern, from a security perspective, it is better to use synchronized on a private object, rather than putting it on a method.

Putting it on the method means you are using the lock of the object itself to provide thread safety. With this kind of mechanism, it is possible for a malicious user of your code to also obtain the lock on your object, and hold it forever, effectively blocking other threads. A non-malicious user can effectively do the same thing inadvertently.

If you use the lock of a private data member, you can prevent this, since it is impossible for a malicious user to obtain the lock on your private object.

There is a product from http://www.shunra.com called VE Desktop which can be used to simulate varying network conditions. It allows you to tweak latencies, bandwidth and packetloss with a simple UI. Only caveat is, its not free. Hope this helps.

If you want to execute a SQL with an "IN" statement you could do this:

Two points:

• There is no need for Parenthesis for the IN statement(like "... IN(%s) "), just put "...IN %s"
• Force the list of your ids to be one element of a tuple. Don't forget the " , " : (ids_list,)

EDIT Watch out that if the length of list is one or zero this will raise an error!

Depending on the type of your variable, one of abs(int), labs(long), llabs(long long), imaxabs(intmax_t), fabsf(float), fabs(double), or fabsl(long double).

Those functions are all part of the C standard library, and so are present both in Objective-C and plain C (and are generally available in C++ programs too.)

(Alas, there is no habs(short) function. Or scabs(signed char) for that matter...)

Apple's and GNU's Objective-C headers also include an ABS() macro which is type-agnostic. I don't recommend using ABS() however as it is not guaranteed to be side-effect-safe. For instance, ABS(a++) will have an undefined result.

If you're using C++ or Objective-C++, you can bring in the <cmath> header and use std::abs(), which is templated for all the standard integer and floating-point types.

It will show you how to reliably use 'select()' and contains some other useful links at the bottom for further info on sockets.

This can happen when:

• You have multiple copies of the Android SDK installed on your machine. You may be updating the available images and devices for one copy of the Android SDK, and trying to debug or run your application in another.

  If you're using Eclipse, take a look at your "Preferences | Android | SDK Location". Make sure it's the path you expect. If not, change the path to point to where you think the Android SDK is installed.

• You don't have an Android device setup in your emulator as detailed in other answers on this page.

You have at least two issues in your code:

• ng-change="getScoreData(Score)

  Angular doesn't see getScoreData method that refers to defined service

• getScoreData: function (Score, callback)

  We don't need to use callback since GET returns promise. Use then instead.

Why do you not use the java functionality for that:

If your numbers are small (smaller than yours) you could use: Integer.parseInt(hex, 16) to convert a Hex - String into an integer.

For big numbers like yours, use public BigInteger(String val, int radix)

The way I use these operators:

||, && are for boolean logic. or, and are for control flow. E.g.

do_smth if may_be || may_be -- we evaluate the condition here

do_smth or do_smth_else -- we define the workflow, which is equivalent to do_smth_else unless do_smth

A well-known idiom in Rails is render and return. It's a shortcut for saying return if render, while render && return won't work. See "Avoiding Double Render Errors" in the Rails documentation for more information.

You cannot access a local directory from pl/sql. If you use bfile, you will setup a directory (create directory) on the server where Oracle is running where you will need to put your images.

If you want to insert a handful of images from your local machine, you'll need a client side app to do this. You can write your own, but I typically use Toad for this. In schema browser, click onto the table. Click the data tab, and hit + sign to add a row. Double click the BLOB column, and a wizard opens. The far left icon will load an image into the blob:

SQL Developer has a similar feature. See the "Load" link below:

If you need to pull images over the wire, you can do it using pl/sql, but its not straight forward. First, you'll need to setup ACL list access (for security reasons) to allow a user to pull over the wire. See this article for more on ACL setup.

As EBGreen said, [System.Diagnostics.FileVersionInfo]::GetVersionInfo(path) will work, but remember that you can also get all the members of FileVersionInfo, for example:

By the way: A better way to exchange whole commits by file is the combination of the commands git format-patch on the sender and then git am on the receiver, because it also transfers the authorship info and the commit message.

If the patch application fails and if the commits the diff was generated from are actually in your repo, you can use the -3 option of apply that tries to merge in the changes.

It also works with Unix pipe as follows:

As an alternative approach, Mongoose does export a constructor for a new instance on the default instance. So something like this is possible.

Here is the short and sweet of it.

You'll want to import pkgutil and locate which folder you added the datafile to; i.e. the second string in the tuple which was added to the spec file:

Knowing where you added the data file can then be used for reading it in as binary data, and decoding it as you wish. Take this example:

For Python developers that want to log user out straight from the backend

At the moment I'm writing this, the trick with m.facebook.com no longer works (at least for me) and user is redirected to the mobile FB login page which obviously is not good for UX.

Fortunately, FB PHP SDK has a semi-documented solution (in case the link doesn't lead to getLogoutUrl() function, just search look for it on that page). This is also mentioned in at least one other on StackOverflow: Facebook php SDK getLogoutUrl() problem.

BTW I've just noticed that Zach Greenberg got it right in this question, but I'm adding my answer as a summary for Python developers.

As everyone has said, you definitely need the key. There's no workaround for that. However, you might be surprised at how good the data recovery software can be, and how long the key may linger on your systems -- it's a tiny, tiny file, after all, and may not yet be overwritten. I was pleasantly surprised on both counts.

I develop on an OSX machine. I unintentionally deleted my app key around 6 weeks ago. When I tried to update, I realized my schoolboy error. I tried all the recovery tools I could find for OSX, but none could find the file -- not because it wasn't there, but because these tools are optimized to find the sorts of files the majority of users want back (photos, Word docs, etc.). They're definitely not looking for a 1KB file with an unusual file signature.

Now this next part is going to sound like a plug, but it isn't -- I don't have any connection to the developers:

The only recover tool I found that worked was one called Data Rescue by Prosoft Engineering (which I believe works for other files systems as well -- not just HFS+). It worked because it has a feature which allows you to train it to look for any file type -- even an Android key. You give it several examples. (I generated a few keys, filling in the data fields in as like manner as possible to the original). You then tell it to "deep search". If you're lucky, you'll get your key back in the "custom files" section.

For me, it was a life saver.

It's $100 to purchase, so it's not cheap, but it's worth it if you've got a mass of users and no further means of feeding them updates.

I believe they allow you 1 free file recovery in demo mode, but, unfortunately, in my case, I had several keys and could not tell which one was the one I needed without recovering them all (file names are not preserved on HFS+).

Try it first in demo mode, you may get lucky and be able to recover the key without paying anything.

May this message help someone. It's a sickening feeling, I know, but there may be relief.

Quick fix - make sure all variables which do not get initialized when they are created (eg var num : Int? vs var num = 5) have either a ? or !.

Long answer (reccomended) - read the doc as per mprivat suggests...

Since I can't comment, let me do this in the form of an answer:
to build on culebrón's answer or Yuji 'Tomita' Tomita's answer, the dictionary passed into the function is in the form of a string, so perhaps use ast.literal_eval to convert the string to a dictionary first, like in this example.

With this edit, the code should look like this:

The explicit cast will do the conversion to Boolean, and then there's the auto-unboxing to the primitive value. Or you can do that explicitly:

You can just pass the column names as a list with specifying the axis as 0 or 1

• axis=1: Along the Rows
• axis=0: Along the Columns

• By default axis=0

If you can go the functional way, the following is pretty clear

Of course you haven't inserted x into your_list, rather you have created a new list with x preprended to it.

I met the same problem. I found the solution in the solution from kb.vmware.com.
It works for me by adding

1. Shut down the virtual machine and quit Workstation/Fusion.
   
   Caution: Do not skip this step.
    
2. Open the vmware.log file within the virtual machine bundle. For more information, see Locating a virtual machine bundle in VMware Workstation/Fusion (1007599).
3. In the Filter box at the top of the Console window, enter the name of the device manufacturer.
   
   For example, if you enter the name Apple, you see a line that looks similar to:

5. Add this line to the .vmx file, replacing vid and pid with the values noted in Step 2, each prefixed by the number 0 and the letter x .

Windows 10 can handle ttc files with no problem.

You can double click the file and install it like any ttf. Then if you nead the individual ttf files you can go to C:\Windows\Fonts\Font Name and there you will findit. If you cant do this i suspect you have a corupt file.

Math.Round Method (Decimal, Int32)

I would strongly recommend field access and NOT annotations on the getters (property access) if you want to do anything more in the setters than just setting the value (e.g. Encryption or calculation).

The problem with the property access is that the setters are also called when the object is loaded. This has worked for me fine for many month until we wanted to introduce encryption. In our use case we wanted to encrypt a field in the setter and decrypt it in the getter. The problem now with property access was that when Hibernate loaded the object it was also calling the setter to populate the field and thus was encrypting the encrypted value again. This has cause me headaches until I remembered the difference between field access and property access. Now I have moved all my annotations from property access to field access and it works fine now.

In case you don't have some id, e.g., mysite.com/something/9182301, you can use get_object_or_404 importing by from django.shortcuts import get_object_or_404.

What if I don't want line segments?

There are no direct ways to have lines extend to infinity... matplotlib will either resize/rescale the plot so that the furthest point will be on the boundary and the other inside, drawing line segments in effect; or you must choose points outside of the boundary of the surface you want to set visible, and set limits for the x and y axis.

You should use the ISO-8601 format for string representations of dates - anything else is dependent on the SQL Server language and dateformat settings.

The ISO-8601 format for a DATETIME when using only the date is: YYYYMMDD (no dashes or antyhing!)

For a DATETIME with the time portion, it's YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS (with dashes, and a T in the middle to separate date and time portions).

If you want to convert a string to a DATE for SQL Server 2008 or newer, you can use YYYY-MM-DD (with the dashes) to achieve the same result. And don't ask me why this is so inconsistent and confusing - it just is, and you'll have to work with that for now.

if you use which python it will tell you where the python command is being resolved to. Typically, what happens is third parties redefine things in /usr/local/bin (which takes precedence, by default over /usr/bin). To fix, you can either run /usr/bin/python directly to use 2.x or find the errant redefinition (probably in /usr/local/bin or somewhere else in your PATH)

Actually, any IPv4 address in 127.0.0.0/8 is a loopback address.

Finally, some comments were asking about ::/128 versus ::/0 versus ::.

What is this difference?

Strictly speaking, the first two are CIDR notation not IPv6 addresses. They are actually specifying a range of IP addresses. A CIDR consists of a IP address and an additional number that specifies the number of bits in a netmask. The two together specify a range of addresses; i.e. the set of addresses formed by ignoring the bits masked out of the given address.

So:

• :: means just the IPv6 address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0
• ::/128 means 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0 with a netmask consisting of 128 bits. This gives a network range with exactly one address in it.
• ::/0 means 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0 with a netmask consisting of 0 bits. This gives a network range with 2¹²⁸ addresses in it.; i.e. it is the entire IPv6 address space!

No, there's no true equivalent of typedef. You can use 'using' directives within one file, e.g.

using CustomerList = System.Collections.Generic.List<Customer>;

but that will only impact that source file. In C and C++, my experience is that typedef is usually used within .h files which are included widely - so a single typedef can be used over a whole project. That ability does not exist in C#, because there's no #include functionality in C# that would allow you to include the using directives from one file in another.

Fortunately, the example you give does have a fix - implicit method group conversion. You can change your event subscription line to just:

A more robust solution is to extend the RouterOutlet and when activating a route check if the user is logged in. This way you don't have to copy and paste your directive to every component. Plus redirecting based on a subcomponent can be misleading.

The UserService stands for the place where your business logic resides whether the user is logged in or not. You can add it easily with DI in the constructor.

When the user navigates to a new url on your website, the activate method is called with the current Instruction. From it you can grab the url and decide whether it is allowed or not. If not just redirect to the login page.

One last thing remain to make it work, is to pass it to our main component instead of the built in one.

You can use ThrowIfCancellationRequested without handling the exception!

The use of ThrowIfCancellationRequested is meant to be used from within a Task (not a Thread). When used within a Task, you do not have to handle the exception yourself (and get the Unhandled Exception error). It will result in leaving the Task, and the Task.IsCancelled property will be True. No exception handling needed.

In your specific case, change the Thread to a Task.

I had a similar situation, but the client config was using a basicHttpBinding. The issue turned out to be that the service was using SOAP 1.2 and you can't specify SOAP 1.2 in a basicHttpBinding. the simple resoluition is that you can use conda to upgrade setuptools or entire enviroment. (Specially for windows user.)

conda upgrade -c anaconda setuptools

if the setuptools is removed, you need to install setuptools again.

conda install -c anaconda setuptools

if these all methodes doesn't work, you can upgrade conda environement. But I do not recommend that you need to reinstall and uninstall some packages because after that it will exacerbate the situation.

I commonly like to use a slight variant on the standard for loop. I often use this to run a command on a series of remote hosts. I take advantage of bash's brace expansion to create for loops that allow me to create non-numerical for-loops.

Example:

I want to run the uptime command on frontend hosts 1-5 and backend hosts 1-3:

I typically run this as a single-line command with semicolons on the ends of the lines instead of the more readable version above. The key usage consideration are that braces allow you to specify multiple values to be inserted into a string (e.g. pre{foo,bar}post results in prefoopost, prebarpost) and allow counting/sequences by using the double periods (you can use a..z etc.). However, the double period syntax is a new feature of bash 3.0; earlier versions will not support this.

Type hints are for maintainability and don't get interpreted by Python. In the code below, the line def add(self, ic:int) doesn't result in an error until the next return... line:

Check the version of your npm executable. (For me it was 3.x.x which doesn't uses the package-lock.json (at all))

npm -v

It should be at least 5.x.x (which introduced the package-lock.json file.)

Use the parse_url() and parse_str() methods. parse_url() will parse a URL string into an associative array of its parts. Since you only want a single part of the URL, you can use a shortcut to return a string value with just the part you want. Next, parse_str() will create variables for each of the parameters in the query string. I don't like polluting the current context, so providing a second parameter puts all the variables into an associative array.

If you're using the HTML5 Fetch API to make POST requests as a logged in user and getting Forbidden (CSRF cookie not set.), it could be because by default fetch does not include session cookies, resulting in Django thinking you're a different user than the one who loaded the page.

You can include the session token by passing the option credentials: 'include' to fetch:

You (Resource Owner) have a mobile phone. You have several different email accounts, but you want all your email accounts in one app, so you don't need to keep switching. You can't do that. If you use a redirect (or any other server technique) you will never send the actual page to the browser, only redirection pages.

You have to either use a meta tag or JavaScript to do this, so that you can reload the page after it has been displayed for a while:

In Swift 4 the syntax of arg.scrollEnabled = false has changed to arg.isScrollEnabled = false.

I was having a situation in ASP.NET 4.0 where my session would be reset on every page request (and my SESSION_START code would run on each page request). This didn't happen to every user for every session, but it usually happened, and when it did, it would happen on each page request.

My web.config sessionState tag had the same setting as the one mentioned above.

When I changed it to the following...

cookieless="UseCookies"

... the problem seemed to go away. Apparently true|false were old choices from ASP.NET 1. Starting in ASP.Net 2.0, the enumerated choices started being available. I guess these options were deprecated. The "false" value has never presented a problem in the past - I've only noticed in on ASP.NET 4.0. I don't know if something has changed in 4.0 that no longer supports it correctly.

Also, I just found this out not long ago. Since the problem was intermittent before, I suppose I could still encounter it, but so far it's working with this new setting.
