The generic Returns<T> method can handle this situation nicely.

• Stream.generate(() -> new A()) is like factory for separate A elements created in a way described by lambda, () -> new A() which is implementation of Supplier<A> - it describe how each new A instances should be created.
• limit(4) sets amount of elements which stream will generate
• toArray(A[]::new) (can also be rewritten as toArray(size -> new A[size])) - it lets us decide/describe type of array which should be returned.

For some primitive types you can use DoubleStream, IntStream, LongStream which additionally provide generators like range rangeClosed and few others.

If one want to match 0-9

Premise to my answer:

1. Containers are run with tags.
2. The same tag can be pointed to different image UUID as we please/ feel appropriate.
3. Updates done to an image can be committed to a new image layer

Approach

1. Build all the containers in the first place with a security-patch update script
2. Build an automated process for the following
   • Run an existing image to new container with security patch script as the command
   • Commit changes to the image as
     • existing tag -> followed by restarting the containers one by one
     • new version tag -> replace few containers with new tag -> validate -> move all containers to new tag

Additionally, the base image can be upgraded/ the container with a complete new base image can be built at regular intervals, as the maintainer feels necessary

Advantages

1. We are preserving the old version of the image while creating the new security patched image, hence we can rollback to previous running image if necessary
2. We are preserving the docker cache, hence less network transfer (only the changed layer gets on the wire)
3. The upgrade process can be validated in staging before moving to prod
4. This can be a controlled process, hence the security patches only when necessary/ deemed important can be pushed.

and you will match your element. Your current predicate goes back to the root of the document to look for an author.

Firefox 13+ provides an experimental implementation of the map object similar to the dict object in python. Specifications here.

It's only avaible in firefox, but it looks better than using attributes of a new Object(). Citation from the documentation :

I was doing this inside a virtualenv on Oracle Linux 6.4 using python-2.6 so the apt-based solutions weren't an option for me, nor were the python-2.7 ideas. My fix was to upgrade my version of setuptools that had been installed by virtualenv:

pip install --upgrade setuptools

After that, I was able to install packages into the virtualenv. I know this question has already had an answer selected but I hope this answer will help others in my situation.

Is there any method in Java or any open source library for escaping (not quoting) a special character (meta-character), in order to use it as a regular expression?

If you are looking for a way to create constants that you can use in your regex patterns, then just prepending them with "\\" should work but there is no nice Pattern.escape('.') function to help with this.

So if you are trying to match "\\d" (the string \d instead of a decimal character) then you would do:

The 4 slashes in the Java string turn into 2 slashes in the regex pattern. 2 backslashes in a regex pattern matches the backslash itself. Prepending any special character with backslash turns it into a normal character instead of a special one.

In your post you use the Pattern.quote(string) method. This method wraps your pattern between "\\Q" and "\\E" so you can match a string even if it happens to have a special regex character in it (+, ., \\d, etc.)

Since PHP is not a pure Object-Orieneted language, it interprets sendRequest() as an attempt to invoke a globally defined function (just like nl2br() for example), but since your function is part of a class ('InstagramController'), you need to use $this to point the interpreter in the right direction.

Eclipse is looking for eclipse projects, meaning its is searching for eclipse-specific files in the root directory, namely .project and .classpath. You either gave Eclipse the wrong directory (if you are importing a eclipse project) or you actually want to create a new project from existing source(new->java project->create project from existing source).

I think you probably want the second one, because Eclipse projects usually have separate source & build directories. If your sources and .class files are in the same directory, you probably didn't have a eclipse project.

I have done some more testing with IE8, IE9, FF14, Opera11, Chrome20 and Tomcat 6.0.32 (fresh installation), Jersey 1.13 on the server side. I used the jQuery function $.getJson and JSONP. Results: All Browsers allowed up to around 5400 chars. FF and IE9 did up to around 6200 chars. Everything above returned "400 Bad request". I did not further investigate what was responsible for the 400. I was fine with the maximum I found, because I needed around 2000 chars in my case.

The callback is passed the element, the index, and the array itself.

I will try to explaine the purpose of 'calling transpose twice'. If u have row data in Excel e.g. "a1:h1" then the Range("a1:h1").Value is a 2D Variant-Array with dimmensions 1 to 1, 1 to 8. When u call Transpose(Range("a1:h1").Value) then u get transposed 2D Variant Array with dimensions 1 to 8, 1 to 1. And if u call Transpose(Transpose(Range("a1:h1").Value)) u get 1D Variant Array with dimension 1 to 8.

First Transpose changes row to column and second transpose changes the column back to row but with just one dimension.

If the source range would have more rows (columns) e.g. "a1:h3" then Transpose function just changes the dimensions like this: 1 to 3, 1 to 8 Transposes to 1 to 8, 1 to 3 and vice versa.

If you put string quotes inside your string ("'hello'"), ast_literaleval() will understand it perfectly.

When we compile the code Test.java it will generate 2 .class files (viz Sum.class and DefClass.class) and if we run Test.java we cannot run it as it won't find any main class with the name Test. Instead if we do java Sum or java DefClass both will give different outputs using different main(). To use the main method of Sum class we can use the class name Sum.main(null) or Sum.main(1)//Passing integer value in the DefClass main().

In a class scope we can have only one public static void main (String args[]) per class since a static method of a class belongs to a class and not to its objects and is called using its class name. Even if we create multiple objects and call the same static methods using them then the instance of the static method to which these call will refer will be the same.

We can also do the overloading of the main method by passing different set of arguments in the main. The Similar example is provided in the above code but by default the control flow will start with the public static void main (String args[]) of the class file which we have invoked using java classname. To invoke the main method with other set of arguments we have to explicitly call it from other classes.

In eclipse I included a compressed jar file i.e. zip file. Eclipse allowed me to add this zip file as an external jar but when I tried to access the classes in the jar they weren't showing up.

After a lot of trial and error I found that using a zip format doesn't work. When I added a jar file then it worked for me.

In my case, Visual Leak Detector I was using to track down memory leaks in Visual Studio 2015 was missing the Microsoft manifest file Microsoft.DTfW.DHL.manifest, see link Building Visual Leak Detector all way down. I have experienced this exact problem and found, on the users machine, one of the libraries I depended on was marked as "MISSING" in the references dialog. In that case it was some office font library that was available in my version of Office 2007, but not on the client desktop.

The error you get is a complete red herring (as pointed out by divo).

Fortunately I wasn't using anything from the library, so I was able to remove it from the XLA references entirely. I guess, an extension of divo' suggested best practice would be for testing to check the XLA on all the target Office versions (not a bad idea in any case).

Maybe a bit delayed, but technologies have evolved since so there is certainly new info around which draws fresh light on the matter...

As iOS has yet to open up an API for WiFi Direct and Multipeer Connectivity is iOS only, I believe the best way to approach this is to use BLE, which is supported by both platforms (some better than others).

On iOS a device can act both as a BLE Central and BLE Peripheral at the same time, on Android the situation is more complex as not all devices support the BLE Peripheral state. Also the Android BLE stack is very unstable (to date).

If your use case is feature driven, I would suggest to look at Frameworks and Libraries that can achieve cross platform communication for you, without you needing to build it up from scratch.

Putting an if inside of each part of the hover will allow you to change the select class dynamically and the hover will still work.

Be aware that different servers will come up with different greetings but you should get SOMETHING. If nothing comes up at this point there are 2 possible problems. Port 25 is being blocked at your firewall, or their server is not responding. Try a different domain, if that works then it's not you.

Now, use simple SMTP commands to send a test email. This is very important, you CANNOT use the backspace key, it will work onscreen but not be interpreted correctly. You have to type these commands perfectly.

So, what does that all mean? EHLO - introduce yourself to the mail server HELO can also be used but EHLO tells the server to use the extended command set (not that we're using that).

MAIL FROM - who's sending the email. Make sure to place this is the greater than/less than brackets as many email servers will require this (Postini).

RCPT TO - who you're sending it to. Again you need to use the brackets. See Step #4 on how to test relaying mail!

DATA - tells the SMTP server that what follows is the body of your email. Make sure to hit "Enter" at the end.

. - the period alone on the line tells the SMTP server you're all done with the data portion and it's clear to send the email.

quit - exits the TELNET session.

See the difference? On the RCPT TO line, we're sending to a domain that is not controlled by the SMTP server we're sending to. You will get an immediate error is SMTP relay is turned off. If you're able to continue and send an email, then relay is allowed by that server.

To your question: You will not find a solution to read an integer because ReadLine() reads the whole command line, threfor returns a string. What you can do is, try to convert this input into and int16/32/64 variable.

If you are in doubt about the input, which is to be converted, always go for the TryParse methods, no matter if you try to parse strings, int variable or what not.

Update In C# 7.0 out variables can be declared directly where they are passed in as an argument, so the above code could be condensed into this:

input.next() takes in the first whitsepace-delimited word of the input string. So by design it does what you've described. Try input.nextLine().

Yes this does work in PostgreSQL (assuming the column "date" is of datatype date) Why don't you just try it?

The standard ANSI SQL format would be:

You can do this how Django does it: define a variable to the Project Root from a file that is in the top-level of the project. For example, if this is what your project structure looks like:

1. find($id) takes an id and returns a single model. If no matching model exist, it returns null.

2. findOrFail($id) takes an id and returns a single model. If no matching model exist, it throws an error¹.

3. first() returns the first record found in the database. If no matching model exist, it returns null.

4. firstOrFail() returns the first record found in the database. If no matching model exist, it throws an error¹.

5. get() returns a collection of models matching the query.

6. pluck($column) returns a collection of just the values in the given column. In previous versions of Laravel this method was called lists.

7. toArray() converts the model/collection into a simple PHP array.

Note: a collection is a beefed up array. It functions similarly to an array, but has a lot of added functionality, as you can see in the docs.

Unfortunately, PHP doesn't let you use a collection object everywhere you can use an array. For example, using a collection in a foreach loop is ok, put passing it to array_map is not. Similarly, if you type-hint an argument as array, PHP won't let you pass it a collection. Starting in PHP 7.1, there is the iterable typehint, which can be used to accept both arrays and collections.

If you ever want to get a plain array from a collection, call its all() method.

¹ The error thrown by the findOrFail and firstOrFail methods is a ModelNotFoundException. If you don't catch this exception yourself, Laravel will respond with a 404, which is what you want most of the time.

Using .on() you can define your function once, and it will execute for any dynamically added elements.

Hash map works on the principle of hashing

HashMap get(Key k) method calls hashCode method on the key object and applies returned hashValue to its own static hash function to find a bucket location(backing array) where keys and values are stored in form of a nested class called Entry (Map.Entry) . So you have concluded that from the previous line that Both key and value is stored in the bucket as a form of Entry object . So thinking that Only value is stored in the bucket is not correct and will not give a good impression on the interviewer .

• Whenever we call get( Key k ) method on the HashMap object . First it checks that whether key is null or not . Note that there can only be one null key in HashMap .

If key is null , then Null keys always map to hash 0, thus index 0.

If key is not null then , it will call hashfunction on the key object , see line 4 in above method i.e. key.hashCode() ,so after key.hashCode() returns hashValue , line 4 looks like

            int hash = hash(hashValue)

and now ,it applies returned hashValue into its own hashing function .

We might wonder why we are calculating the hashvalue again using hash(hashValue). Answer is It defends against poor quality hash functions.

I tried all the suggestions above, but my actual issue was that my application was looking for the /font folder and its contents (.woff etc) in app/fonts, but my /fonts folder was on the same level as /app. I moved /fonts under /app, and it works fine now. You can't, and you shouldn't. That's what polymorphism is for, so that each object has its own way of doing some "base" things.

After searching around I found a way to create a temp table dynamically for any stored procedure without using OPENROWSET or OPENQUERY using a generic schema of Stored Procedure's result definition especially when you are not database Administrator.

Sql server has a buit-in proc sp_describe_first_result_set that can provide you with schema of any procedures resultset. I created a schema table from results of this procedure and manually set all the field to NULLABLE.

You can try with SYNONYM, is basically an ALIAS to a specific Table, this SYNONYM is inserted into the sys.synonyms table so you have access to it from any context

Look this static statement:

CREATE SYNONYM MASTER_SCHEMACOLUMNS FOR Master.INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS
SELECT * FROM MASTER_SCHEMACOLUMNS

Now dynamic:

DECLARE @SQL VARCHAR(200)
DECLARE @CATALOG VARCHAR(200) = 'Master'

IF EXISTS(SELECT * FROM  sys.synonyms s WHERE s.name = 'CURRENT_SCHEMACOLUMNS')
BEGIN
DROP SYNONYM CURRENT_SCHEMACOLUMNS
END

SELECT @SQL = 'CREATE SYNONYM CURRENT_SCHEMACOLUMNS FOR '+ @CATALOG +'.INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS';
EXEC sp_sqlexec @SQL

--Your not dynamic Code
SELECT * FROM CURRENT_SCHEMACOLUMNS

Now just change the value of @CATALOG and you will be able to list the same table but from different catalog.
