That means that your consumer is expecting XML from the webservice but the webservice, as your error shows, returns HTML because it's failing due to a timeout.
So you need to talk to the remote webservice provider to let them know it's failing and take corrective action. Unless you are the provider of the webservice in which case you should catch the exceptions and return XML telling the consumer which error occurred (the 'remote provider' should probably do that as well).

Who wants to try with generators?
I found this question while I was stuck with the same query. I finally found it without using DbFunctions. Try this:
var q = db.Games.Where(t => t.StartDate.Day == DateTime.Now.Day && t.StartDate.Month == DateTime.Now.Month && t.StartDate.Year == DateTime.Now.Year ).OrderBy(d => d.StartDate);
This way by bifurcating the date parts we effectively compare only the dates, thus leaving out the time.
Hope that helps. Pardon me for the formatting in the answer, this is my first answer.
You should have to use DateTime.TryParseExact
.
var newDate = DateTime.ParseExact("20111120",
"yyyyMMdd",
CultureInfo.InvariantCulture);
OR
string str = "20111021";
string[] format = {"yyyyMMdd"};
DateTime date;
if (DateTime.TryParseExact(str,
format,
System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture,
System.Globalization.DateTimeStyles.None,
out date))
{
//valid
}
I had this problem, the solution was to look at the commit graph (using gitk) and see that I had the following:
* commit I want to cherry-pick (x)
|\
| * branch I want to cherry-pick to (y)
* |
|/
* common parent (x)
I understand now that I want to do
git cherry-pick -m 2 mycommitsha
This is because -m 1
would merge based on the common parent where as -m 2
merges based on branch y, that is the one I want to cherry-pick to.
Don't forget DataFrame.tail
! e.g. df1.tail(10)
One easy solution that no one's mentioned yet is embedding the font directly into the css file using base64 encoding.
If you're using fontsquirrel.com, in the font-face Kit Generator choose expert mode, scroll down and select Base64 Encode under CSS Options - the downloaded Font-Kit will be ready to plug and play.
This also has the fringe benefit of reducing page load time because it requires one less http request.
This is a supplemental answer for those arriving here based on the question title (like I did) and don't need to deal with the security issues related to saving passwords.
User settings are generally saved locally in Android using SharedPreferences
with a key-value pair. You use the String
key to save or look up the associated value.
String key = "myInt";
int valueToSave = 10;
SharedPreferences sharedPref = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(context);
SharedPreferences.Editor editor = sharedPref.edit();
editor.putInt(key, valueToSave).commit();
Use apply()
instead of commit()
to save in the background rather than immediately.
String key = "myInt";
int defaultValue = 0;
SharedPreferences sharedPref = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(context);
int savedValue = sharedPref.getInt(key, defaultValue);
The default value is used if the key isn't found.
Rather than using a local key String in multiple places like I did above, it would be better to use a constant in a single location. You could use something like this at the top of your settings activity:
final static String PREF_MY_INT_KEY = "myInt";
I used an int
in my example, but you can also use putString()
, putBoolean()
, getString()
, getBoolean()
, etc.
See the documentation for more details.
There are multiple ways to get SharedPreferences. See this answer for what to look out for.
When a clearfix is used in a parent container, it automatically wraps around all the child elements.
It is usually used after floating elements to clear the float layout.
When float layout is used, it will horizontally align the child elements. Clearfix clears this behaviour.
Example - Bootstrap Panels
In bootstrap, when the class panel is used, there are 3 child types: panel-header, panel-body, panel-footer. All of which have display:block layout but panel-body has a clearfix pre-applied. panel-body is a main container type whereas panel-header & panel-footer isn't intended to be a container, it is just intended to hold some basic text.
If floating elements are added, the parent container does not get wrapped around those elements because the height of floating elements is not inherited by the parent container.
So for panel-header & panel-footer, clearfix is needed to clear the float layout of elements: Clearfix class gives a visual appearance that the height of the parent container has been increased to accommodate all of its child elements.
<div class="container">
<div class="panel panel-default">
<div class="panel-footer">
<div class="col-xs-6">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button1">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button2">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button3">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="panel panel-default">
<div class="panel-footer">
<div class="col-xs-6">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button1">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button2">
<input type="button" class="btn btn-primary" value="Button3">
</div>
<div class="clearfix"/>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Here is email code I used in one of my databases. I just made variables for the person I wanted to send it to, CC, subject, and the body. Then you just use the DoCmd.SendObject command. I also set it to "True" after the body so you can edit the message before it automatically sends.
Public Function SendEmail2()
Dim varName As Variant
Dim varCC As Variant
Dim varSubject As Variant
Dim varBody As Variant
varName = "[email protected]"
varCC = "[email protected], [email protected]"
'separate each email by a ','
varSubject = "Hello"
'Email subject
varBody = "Let's get ice cream this week"
'Body of the email
DoCmd.SendObject , , , varName, varCC, , varSubject, varBody, True, False
'Send email command. The True after "varBody" allows user to edit email before sending.
'The False at the end will not send it as a Template File
End Function
The rules in your .gitignore
file only apply to untracked files. Since the files under that directory were already committed in your repository, you have to unstage them, create a commit, and push that to GitHub:
git rm -r --cached some-directory
git commit -m 'Remove the now ignored directory "some-directory"'
git push origin master
You can't delete the file from your history without rewriting the history of your repository - you shouldn't do this if anyone else is working with your repository, or you're using it from multiple computers. If you still want to do that, you can use git filter-branch
to rewrite the history - there is a helpful guide to that here.
Additionally, note the output from git rm -r --cached some-directory
will be something like:
rm 'some-directory/product/cache/1/small_image/130x130/small_image.jpg'
rm 'some-directory/product/cache/1/small_image/135x/small_image.jpg'
rm 'some-directory/.htaccess'
rm 'some-directory/logo.jpg'
The rm
is feedback from git about the repository; the files are still in the working directory.
Since static function is only visible in this file. Actually, compiler can do some optimization for you if you declare "static" to some function.
Here is a simple example.
main.c
#include <stdio.h>
static void test()
{
ghost(); // This is an unexist function.
}
int main()
{
int ret = 0;
#ifdef TEST
#else
test();
#endif
return (ret);
}
And compile with
gcc -o main main.c
You will see it failed. Because you even not implement ghost() function.
But what if we use following command.
gcc -DTEST -O2 -o main main.c
It success, and this program can be execute normally.
Why? There are 3 key points.
Only if these 3 conditions are all true, you can pass compilation. Because of this "static" declaration, compiler can confirm that test() will NEVER be called in other file. Your compiler can remove test() when compiling. Since we don't need test(), it does not matter whether ghost() is defined or implemented.
Both Abstraction and Encapsulation are two of the four basic OOP concepts which allow you to model real-world things into objects so that you can implement them in your program and code. Many beginners get confused between Abstraction and Encapsulation because they both look very similar. If you ask someone what is Abstraction, he will tell that it's an OOP concept which focuses on relevant information by hiding unnecessary detail, and when you ask about Encapsulation, many will tell that it's another OOP concept which hides data from outside world. The definitions are not wrong as both Abstraction and Encapsulation does hide something, but the key difference is on intent.
Abstraction hides complexity by giving you a more abstract picture, a sort of 10,000 feet view, while Encapsulation hides internal working so that you can change it later. In other words, Abstraction hides details at the design level, while Encapsulation hides details at the implementation level.
All of the answers here show only the memory percentage for the PID.
Here's an example of how to get the rss memory usage in KB for all apache processes, replace "grep apache" with "grep PID" if you just want to watch a specific PID:
watch -n5 "ps aux -y | grep apache | awk '{print \$2,\$6}'"
This prints:

This tells you the date of the number of seconds in future from the moment you execute the code.
time = Time.new + 1000000000 #date in 1 billion seconds
puts(time)
according to the current time I am answering the question it prints 047-05-14 05:16:16 +0000
(1 billion seconds in future)
or if you want to count billion seconds from a particular time, it's in format Time.mktime(year, month,date,hours,minutes)
time = Time.mktime(1987,8,18,6,45) + 1000000000
puts("I would be 1 Billion seconds old on: "+time)
gcc main.cpp -o main.out
./main.out
in one line:
var cars = [
{type:"Volvo", year:2016},
{type:"Saab", year:2001},
{type:"BMW", year:2010}
]
function myFunction() {
return cars.sort((a, b)=> a.year - b.year)
}
For my lists, my rows have other things that can be clicked, like buttons, so doing a blanket blocksDescendants doesn't work. Instead I add a line in the button's xml:
android:focusable="false"
That keeps the buttons from blocking the clicks on the rows, but still lets the buttons take the clicks, too.
It is actually a 3 step process to connect to a PostgreSQL server remotely through pgAdmin3.
Note: I use Ubuntu 11.04 and PostgreSQL 8.4.
You have to make PostgreSQL listening for remote incoming TCP connections because the default settings allow to listen only for connections on the loopback interface. To be able to reach the server remotely you have to add the following line into the file /etc/postgresql/8.4/main/postgresql.conf:
listen_addresses = '*'
PostgreSQL by default refuses all connections it receives from any remote address, you have to relax these rules by adding this line to /etc/postgresql/8.4/main/pg_hba.conf:
host all all 0.0.0.0/0 md5
This is an access control rule that let anybody login in from any address if he can provide a valid password (the md5 keyword). You can use needed network/mask instead of 0.0.0.0/0 .
When you have applied these modifications to your configuration files you need to restart PostgreSQL server. Now it is possible to login to your server remotely, using the username and password.
Another example:
select
case when teamId < 10 then '0' + cast(teamId as char(1))
else cast(teamId as char(2)) end
as 'pretty id',
* from team
You can embed case insensitity into the regular expression like so:
\.(?i:)(?:jpg|gif|doc|pdf)$
GLM has good example of rotation : http://glm.g-truc.net/code.html
glm::mat4 Projection = glm::perspective(45.0f, 4.0f / 3.0f, 0.1f, 100.f);
glm::mat4 ViewTranslate = glm::translate(

);
glm::mat4 ViewRotateX = glm::rotate(

I have just compile it and it compiles fine without the implicit import, probably you're seeing a stale cache or something of your IDE.
Have you tried compiling from the command line?
I have the exact same version:
Probably you're thinking the warning is an error.
UPDATE
It looks like you have a Arrays.class
file in the directory where you're trying to compile ( probably created before ). That's why the explicit import solves the problem. Try copying your source code to a clean new directory and try again. You'll see there is no error this time. Or, clean up your working directory and remove the Arrays.class
1) Tried creating a new branch and pushing. Worked for a couple of times but faced the same error again.
2)Just ran these two statements before pushing the code. All I did was to cancel the proxy.
$ git config --global --unset http.proxy
$ git config --global --unset https.proxy
3) Faced the issue again after couple of weeks. I have updated homebrew and it got fixed
There's an ongoing effort for a PDCurses port:
If you're just playing around in local mode, you can drop metastore DB and reinstate it:
rm -rf metastore_db/
$HIVE_HOME/bin/schematool -initSchema -dbType derby
Use below script
Object[] myNum = {10, 20, 30, 40};
List<Object> newArr = new ArrayList<>(Arrays.asList(myNum));
Time#localtime
will give you the time in the current time zone of the machine running the code:
> moment = Time.now.utc
=> 2011-03-14 15:15:58 UTC
> moment.localtime
=> 2011-03-14 08:15:58 -0700
Update: If you want to conver to specific time zones rather than your own timezone, you're on the right track. However, instead of worrying about EST vs EDT, just pass in the general Eastern Time zone -- it will know based on the day whether it is EDT or EST:
> Time.now.utc.in_time_zone("Eastern Time (US & Canada)")
=> Mon, 14 Mar 2011 11:21:05 EDT -04:00
> (Time.now.utc + 10.months).in_time_zone("Eastern Time (US & Canada)")
=> Sat, 14 Jan 2012 10:21:18 EST -05:00
I think you may want to introduce some helper functions to build
your button as well as a Stateful widget along with some property to key off of.
isButtonDisabled
)onPressed
value to either null
or some function onPressed: () {}
isButtonDisabled
as part of this conditional and return either null
or some function.setState(() => isButtonDisabled = true)
to flip the conditional variable.build()
method again with the new state and the button will be rendered with a null
press handler and be disabled.Here's is some more context using the Flutter counter project.
class MyHomePage extends StatefulWidget {
@override
_MyHomePageState createState() => new _MyHomePageState();
}
class _MyHomePageState extends State<MyHomePage> {
int _counter = 0;
bool _isButtonDisabled;
@override
void initState() {
_isButtonDisabled = false;
}
void _incrementCounter() {
setState(() {
_isButtonDisabled = true;
_counter++;
});
}
@override
Widget build(BuildContext context) {
return new Scaffold(
appBar: new AppBar(
title: new Text("The App"),
),
body: new Center(
child: new Column(
mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.center,
children: <Widget>[
new Text(
'You have pushed the button this many times:',
),
new Text(
'$_counter',
style: Theme.of(context).textTheme.display1,
),
_buildCounterButton(),
],
),
),
);
}
Widget _buildCounterButton() {
return new RaisedButton(
child: new Text(
_isButtonDisabled ? "Hold on..." : "Increment"
),
onPressed: _isButtonDisabled ? null : _incrementCounter,
);
}
}
In this example I am using an inline ternary to conditionally set the Text
and onPressed
, but it may be more appropriate for you to extract this into a function (you can use this same method to change the text of the button as well):
Widget _buildCounterButton() {
return new RaisedButton(
child: new Text(
_isButtonDisabled ? "Hold on..." : "Increment"
),
onPressed: _counterButtonPress(),
);
}
Function _counterButtonPress() {
if (_isButtonDisabled) {
return null;
} else {
return () {
// do anything else you may want to here
_incrementCounter();
};
}
}
Make sure Tomcat is not currently running and the PID file is removed. Them you should start Tomcat successfully.
If you start fresh then:
setenv.sh
file in <CATALINA_HOME>/bin
.CATALINA_PID=/tmp/tomcat.pid
(or other directory of your choice) so you have more control over the Tomcat process.Then to start Tomcat find catalina.sh
in <CATALINA_HOME>/bin
and execute:
./catalina.sh start
and to stop it run:
./catalina.sh stop 10 -force
From catalina.sh
script's doc:
./catalina.sh
Usage: catalina.sh ( commands ... )
commands:
start Start Catalina in a separate window
stop Stop Catalina, waiting up to 5 seconds for the process to end
stop n Stop Catalina, waiting up to n seconds for the process to end
stop -force Stop Catalina, wait up to 5 seconds and then use kill -KILL if still running
stop n -force Stop Catalina, wait up to n seconds and then use kill -KILL if still running
Note: If you want to use -force
flag then setting CATALINA_PID
is mandatory.
Use the 'And' keyword for a logical and. Like this:
If Not ((filename = testFileName) And (fileName <> "")) Then
I don't know if it would work, but maybe you could break the page into columns using the multicol package.
\usepackage{multicol}
\begin{document}
\begin{multicols}{2}[Your list here]
\end{multicols}
You can try using jQuery with the Attribute Contains Prefix Selector.
$('[id|=q1_]')
Haven't tested it though.
You are supposed to download the jar files that contain these libraries. Libraries may be used by adding them to the classpath.
For Commons Net you need to download the binary files from Commons Net download page. Then you have to extract the file and add the commons-net-2-2.jar file to some location where you can access it from your application e.g. to /lib.
If you're running your application from the command-line you'll have to define the classpath in the java command: java -cp .;lib/commons-net-2-2.jar myapp
. More info about how to set the classpath can be found from Oracle documentation. You must specify all directories and jar files you'll need in the classpath excluding those implicitely provided by the Java runtime. Notice that there is '.' in the classpath, it is used to include the current directory in case your compiled class is located in the current directory.
For more advanced reading, you might want to read about how to define the classpath for your own jar files, or the directory structure of a war file when you're creating a web application.
If you are using an IDE, such as Eclipse, you have to remember to add the library to your build path before the IDE will recognize it and allow you to use the library.
C:\Users\<_username>\.gradle\wrapper\dists\gradle-<_version>-all\<_number_random_maybe>\gradle-<_version>
\Android studio\gradle didn't worked for me.
And "Default gradle wrapper" wasn't configured while importing (cloning) the project from bitbucket
If it causes problem to figure out the path, here is my path :
C:\Users\prabs\.gradle\wrapper\dists\gradle-5.4.1-all\3221gyojl5jsh0helicew7rwx\gradle-5.4.1
I would suggest you use PyGame and add an event handle.
As for your problem, currently you will have to depend on XHR or websockets for this.
Currently no popular browser has implemented any such raw sockets api for javascript that lets you create and access raw sockets, but a draft for the implementation of raw sockets api in JavaScript is under-way. Have a look at these links:
http://www.w3.org/TR/raw-sockets/
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/TCPSocket
Chrome now has support for raw TCP and UDP sockets in its ‘experimental’ APIs. These features are only available for extensions and, although documented, are hidden for the moment. Having said that, some developers are already creating interesting projects using it, such as this IRC client.
To access this API, you’ll need to enable the experimental flag in your extension’s manifest. Using sockets is pretty straightforward, for example:
chrome.experimental.socket.create('tcp', '127.0.0.1', 8080, function(socketInfo) {
chrome.experimental.socket.connect(socketInfo.socketId, function (result) {
chrome.experimental.socket.write(socketInfo.socketId, "Hello, world!");
});
});

Found it...show keyspaces
command lists down all the keyspaces. I think earlier when I tried this command, I forgot to give last 's' in 'keyspaces'
You can also just send the user name by writing:
curl -u USERNAME http://server.example
Curl will then ask you for the password, and the password will not be visible on the screen (or if you need to copy/paste the command).
As Jose answered, screen -d -r
should do the trick. This is a combination of two commands, as taken from the man page.
screen -d
detaches the already-running screen session, and screen -r
reattaches the existing session. By running screen -d -r
, you force screen to detach it and then resume the session.
If you use the capital -D -RR
, I quote the man page because it's too good to pass up.
Attach here and now. Whatever that means, just do it.
Note: It is always a good idea to check the status of your sessions by means of "screen -list".
I gonna assumed you making a popup with code from WW3 school, correct?

You can find useful this answer
I had problems with using m2eclipse (i.e. it did not appear to be installed at all) but I develop a project using IAM - maven plugin for eclipse supported by Eclipse Foundation (or hosted or something like that).
I had sometimes problems as sometimes some strange error appeared for project (it couldn't move something) but simple command (run from eclipse as task or from console) + refresh (F5
) solved all problems:
mvn clean
However please note that I created project in eclipse. However I modified pom.xml
by hand.

I think the difference is that there is a mousemove
between mousedown
and mouseup
in a drag, but not in a click.
You can do something like this:
const element = document.createElement('div')
element.innerHTML = 'test'
document.body.appendChild(element)
let moved
let downListener = () => {
moved = false
}
element.addEventListener('mousedown', downListener)
let moveListener = () => {
moved = true
}
element.addEventListener('mousemove', moveListener)
let upListener = () => {
if (moved) {
console.log('moved')
} else {
console.log('not moved')
}
}
element.addEventListener('mouseup', upListener)
// release memory
element.removeEventListener('mousedown', downListener)
element.removeEventListener('mousemove', moveListener)
element.removeEventListener('mouseup', upListener)
Try using this code:
ALTER TABLE `table name`

I searched for firing click, mousedown and mouseup event on mouseover using JavaScript. I found an answer provided by Juan Mendes. For the answer click here.
Click here is the live demo and below is the code:
function fireEvent(node, eventName) {
// Make sure we use the ownerDocument from the provided node to avoid cross-window problems
var doc;
if (node.ownerDocument) {
doc = node.ownerDocument;
} else if (node.nodeType == 9) {
// the node may be the document itself, nodeType 9 = DOCUMENT_NODE
doc = node;
} else {
throw new Error("Invalid node passed to fireEvent: " + node.id);
}
if (node.dispatchEvent) {
// Gecko-style approach (now the standard) takes more work
var eventClass = "";
// Different events have different event classes.
// If this switch statement can't map an eventName to an eventClass,
// the event firing is going to fail.
switch (eventName) {
case "click": // Dispatching of 'click' appears to not work correctly in Safari. Use 'mousedown' or 'mouseup' instead.
case "mousedown":
case "mouseup":
eventClass = "MouseEvents";
break;
case "focus":
case "change":
case "blur":
case "select":
eventClass = "HTMLEvents";
break;
default:
throw "fireEvent: Couldn't find an event class for event '" + eventName + "'.";
break;
}
var event = doc.createEvent(eventClass);
var bubbles = eventName == "change" ? false : true;
event.initEvent(eventName, bubbles, true); // All events created as bubbling and cancelable.
event.synthetic = true; // allow detection of synthetic events
// The second parameter says go ahead with the default action
node.dispatchEvent(event, true);
} else if (node.fireEvent) {
// IE-old school style
var event = doc.createEventObject();
event.synthetic = true; // allow detection of synthetic events
node.fireEvent("on" + eventName, event);
}
};
Install as npm install font-awesome --save-dev
In your development less file, you can either import the whole font awesome less using @import "node_modules/font-awesome/less/font-awesome.less"
, or look in that file and import just the components that you need. I think this is the minimum for basic icons:
/* adjust path as needed */
@fa_path: "../node_modules/font-awesome/less";
@import "@{fa_path}/variables.less";
@import "@{fa_path}/mixins.less";
@import "@{fa_path}/path.less";
@import "@{fa_path}/core.less";
@import "@{fa_path}/icons.less";
As a note, you still aren't going to save that many bytes by doing this. Either way, you're going to end up including between 2-3k lines of unminified CSS.
You'll also need to serve the fonts themselves from a folder called/fonts/
in your public directory. You could just copy them there with a simple gulp task, for example:
gulp.task('fonts', function() {
return gulp.src('node_modules/font-awesome/fonts/*')
.pipe(gulp.dest('public/fonts'))
})
Try removing the .
before the .bmp
(it isn't matching BMP
as expected). As you can see from the error, the save_handler
is upper-casing the format
you provided and then looking for a match in SAVE
. However the corresponding key in that object is BMP
(instead of .BMP
).
I don't know a great deal about PIL
, but from some quick searching around it seems that it is a problem with the mode
of the image. Changing the definition of j
to:
j = Image.fromarray(b, mode='RGB')
Seemed to work for me (however note that I have very little knowledge of PIL
, so I would suggest using @mmgp's solution as s/he clearly knows what they are doing :) ). For the types of mode
, I used this page - hopefully one of the choices there will work for you.
There are methods like WriteAllText
in the File
class for common operations on files.
Use the MapPath
method to get the physical path for a file in your web application.
File.WriteAllText(Server.MapPath("~/data.txt"), TextBox1.Text);
__git_ps1
Git provides a shell script called git-prompt.sh
, which includes a function __git_ps1
that
prints text to add to bash PS1 prompt (includes branch name)
Its most basic usage is:
$ __git_ps1
(master)
It also takes an optional format string:
$ __git_ps1 'git:[%s]'
git:[master]
First, copy the file to somewhere (e.g. ~/.git-prompt.sh
).
Option 1: use an existing copy on your filesystem. Example (Mac OS X 10.15):
$ find / -name 'git-prompt.sh' -type f -print -quit 2>/dev/null
/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/share/git-core/git-prompt.sh
Option 2: Pull the script from GitHub.
Next, add the following line to your .bashrc/.zshrc
:
source ~/.git-prompt.sh
Finally, change your PS1
to call __git_ps1
as command-substitution:
Bash:
PS1='[\u@\h \W$(__git_ps1 " (%s)")]\$ '
Zsh:
setopt PROMPT_SUBST ; PS1='[%n@%m %c$(__git_ps1 " (%s)")]\$ '
But note that only git 1.9.3 (May 2014) or later allows you to safely display that branch name(!)
See commit 8976500 by Richard Hansen (richardhansen
):
Both bash and zsh subject the value of PS1 to parameter expansion, command substitution, and arithmetic expansion.
Rather than include the raw, unescaped branch name in
PS1
when running in two- or three-argument mode, constructPS1
to reference a variable that holds the branch name.Because the shells do not recursively expand, this avoids arbitrary code execution by specially-crafted branch names such as
'$(IFS=_;cmd=sudo_rm_-rf_/;$cmd)'.
What devious mind would name a branch like that? ;) (Beside a Mom as in xkcd)
still_dreaming_1 reports in the comments:
This seems to work great if you want a color prompt with
xterm
(in my.bashrc
):
PS1='\[\e]0;\u@\h: \w\a\]\n${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h\[\033[00m\]:\[\03??3[01;34m\]\w\[\033[00m\]$(__git_ps1)\$ '
Everything is a different color, including the branch.
In in Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64-bit:
PS1='${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)}\[\033[01;32m\]\u@\h\[\033[01;34m\] \w\[\033[00m\]$(__git_ps1) \$ '
Use the 64 bit version only if you have to work with heavy amounts of data, in that scenario, the 64 bits performs better with the inconvenient that John La Rooy said; if not, stick with the 32 bits.
This is my answer
#include<stdio.h>
int main()
{int mat[100][100];
int row,column,i,j;
printf("enter how many row and colmn you want:\n \n");
scanf("%d",&row);
scanf("%d",&column);
printf("enter the matrix:");
for(i=0;i<row;i++){
for(j=0;j<column;j++){
scanf("%d",&mat[i][j]);
}
printf("\n");
}
for(i=0;i<row;i++){
for(j=0;j<column;j++){
printf("%d \t",mat[i][j]);}
printf("\n");}
}
I just choose an approximate value for the row and column. My selected row or column will not cross the value.and then I scan the matrix element then make it in matrix size.
Defining useful repr() methods for your classes (so you can see what an object is) and using repr() or "%r" % (...) or "...{0!r}..".format(...) in your debug messages/logs is IMHO a key to efficient debugging.
Also, the debuggers mentioned in other answers will make use of the repr() methods.
You can load local CSV file to Hive only if:
hive
or beeline
for upload.I think the params
config parameter won't work here since it adds the string to the url instead of the body but to add to what Infeligo suggested here is an example of the global override of a default transform (using jQuery param as an example to convert the data to param string).
Set up global transformRequest function:
var app = angular.module('myApp');
app.config(function ($httpProvider) {
$httpProvider.defaults.transformRequest = function(data){
if (data === undefined) {
return data;
}
return $.param(data);
}
});
That way all calls to $http.post will automatically transform the body to the same param format used by the jQuery $.post
call.
Note you may also want to set the Content-Type header per call or globally like this:
$httpProvider.defaults.headers.post['Content-Type'] = 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8';
Sample non-global transformRequest per call:
var transform = function(data){
return $.param(data);
}
$http.post("/foo/bar", requestData, {
headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8'},
transformRequest: transform
}).success(function(responseData) {
//do stuff with response
});
If you have pip installed you can install selenium like so.
pip install selenium
or depending on your permissions:
sudo pip install selenium
For python3:
sudo pip3 install selenium
As you can see from this question pip vs easy_install pip is a more reliable package installer as it was built to improve easy_install.
I would also suggest that when creating new projects you do so in virtual environments, even a simple selenium project. You can read more about virtual environments here. In fact pip is included out of the box with virtualenv!
var noHtml = Regex.Replace(inputHTML, @"<[^>]*(>|$)| |‌|»|«", string.Empty).Trim();
My understanding is this:
I checked your XAML, it works fine - e.g. both labels have a gray foreground.
My guess is that you have some style which is affecting the way it looks...
Try moving your XAML to a brand-new window and see for yourself... Then, check if you have any themes or styles (in the Window.Resources
for instance) which might be affecting the labels...
use the following code :
if(name.getText().equals(""))
{
loginbt.disable();
}
The following will print the line matching TERMINATE
till the end of the file:
sed -n -e '/TERMINATE/,$p'
Explained: -n
disables default behavior of sed
of printing each line after executing its script on it, -e
indicated a script to sed
, /TERMINATE/,$
is an address (line) range selection meaning the first line matching the TERMINATE
regular expression (like grep) to the end of the file ($
), and p
is the print command which prints the current line.
This will print from the line that follows the line matching TERMINATE
till the end of the file:
(from AFTER the matching line to EOF, NOT including the matching line)
sed -e '1,/TERMINATE/d'
Explained: 1,/TERMINATE/
is an address (line) range selection meaning the first line for the input to the 1st line matching the TERMINATE
regular expression, and d
is the delete command which delete the current line and skip to the next line. As sed
default behavior is to print the lines, it will print the lines after TERMINATE
to the end of input.
Edit:
If you want the lines before TERMINATE
:
sed -e '/TERMINATE/,$d'
And if you want both lines before and after TERMINATE
in 2 different files in a single pass:
sed -e '1,/TERMINATE/w before
/TERMINATE/,$w after' file
The before and after files will contain the line with terminate, so to process each you need to use:
head -n -1 before
tail -n +2 after
Edit2:
IF you do not want to hard-code the filenames in the sed script, you can:
before=before.txt
after=after.txt
sed -e "1,/TERMINATE/w $before
/TERMINATE/,\$w $after" file
But then you have to escape the $
meaning the last line so the shell will not try to expand the $w
variable (note that we now use double quotes around the script instead of single quotes).
I forgot to tell that the new line is important after the filenames in the script so that sed knows that the filenames end.
Edit: 2016-0530
Sébastien Clément asked: "How would you replace the hardcoded TERMINATE
by a variable?"
You would make a variable for the matching text and then do it the same way as the previous example:
matchtext=TERMINATE
before=before.txt
after=after.txt
sed -e "1,/$matchtext/w $before
/$matchtext/,\$w $after" file
to use a variable for the matching text with the previous examples:
## Print the line containing the matching text, till the end of the file:
## (from the matching line to EOF, including the matching line)
matchtext=TERMINATE
sed -n -e "/$matchtext/,\$p"
## Print from the line that follows the line containing the
## matching text, till the end of the file:
## (from AFTER the matching line to EOF, NOT including the matching line)
matchtext=TERMINATE
sed -e "1,/$matchtext/d"
## Print all the lines before the line containing the matching text:
## (from line-1 to BEFORE the matching line, NOT including the matching line)
matchtext=TERMINATE
sed -e "/$matchtext/,\$d"
The important points about replacing text with variables in these cases are:
$variablename
) enclosed in single quotes
['
] won't "expand" but variables inside double quotes
["
] will. So, you have to change all the single quotes
to double quotes
if they contain text you want to replace with a variable. sed
ranges also contain a $
and are immediately followed by a letter like: $p
, $d
, $w
. They will also look like variables to be expanded, so you have to escape those $
characters with a backslash [\
] like: \$p
, \$d
, \$w
.$day_of_week = date('N', strtotime('Monday'));
Looks like the logs are scattered? I found access logs under

The System.Windows.Media.Imaging
namespace is part of PresentationCore.dll (if you are using Visual Studio 2008 then the WPF application template will automatically add this reference). Note that this namespace is not a direct wrapping of the WIC library, although a large proportion of the more common uses are still available and it is relatively obvious how these map to the WIC versions. For more information on the classes in this namespace check out

I think that the solution of @Azimuts (https://stackoverflow.com/a/33375677/6503697) is for HTTP only connection. For FTPS connection you can use Bouncy Castle with org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPSClient without the need for rewrite FTPS protocol.
I have a program running on JRE 1.6.0_04 and I can not update the JRE.
The program has to connect to an FTPS server that work only with TLS 1.2 (IIS server).
I struggled for days and finally I have understood that there are few versions of bouncy castle library right in my use case: bctls-jdk15on-1.60.jar and bcprov-jdk15on-1.60.jar are ok, but 1.64 versions are not.
The version of apache commons-net is 3.1 .
Following is a small snippet of code that should work:
import java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream;
import java.security.SecureRandom;
import java.security.Security;
import javax.net.ssl.SSLContext;
import javax.net.ssl.TrustManager;
import javax.net.ssl.X509TrustManager;
import org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTP;
import org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPReply;
import org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPSClient;
import org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider;
import org.bouncycastle.jsse.provider.BouncyCastleJsseProvider;
import org.junit.Test;

}

}
public void checkServerTrusted(java.security.cert.X509Certificate[] certs, String authType) {
}
} };
@Test public void test() throws Exception {
Security.insertProviderAt(new BouncyCastleProvider(), 1);
Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleJsseProvider());
SSLContext sslContext = SSLContext.getInstance("TLS", new BouncyCastleJsseProvider());
sslContext.init(null, trustAllCerts, new SecureRandom());
org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPSClient ftpClient = new FTPSClient(sslContext);

you can create a file object of current database path and then delete it as we delete file from folder
File data = Environment.getDataDirectory();
String currentDBPath = "/data/com.example.demo/databases/" + DATABASE_NAME;
File currentDB = new File(data, currentDBPath);
boolean deleted = SQLiteDatabase.deleteDatabase(currentDB);
var count_elements = $('.class').length;
From: http://api.jquery.com/size/
The .size() method is functionally equivalent to the .length property; however, the .length property is preferred because it does not have the overhead of a function call.
Please see:
I had this problem as well. We were using two versions of Jquery (1.11.3 and 1.8.3), one of which was causing this issue. I found a lightbox_me.js release that worked on both versions:
http://buckwilson.me/lightboxme/
It was just an easy replacement of an old file.
If you need use it as a default configuration, just place min: 0
inside the node defaults.scale.ticks
, as follows:
defaults: {
global: {...},
scale: {
...
ticks: { min: 0 },
}
},

You have wrong database design and you should take a time to read something about database normalization (wikipedia / stackoverflow).
I assume your table looks somewhat like this
TABLE
================================
| group_id | user_ids | name |
--------------------------------
| 1 | 1,4,6 | group1 |
--------------------------------
| 2 | 4,5,1 | group2 |
so in your table of user groups, each row represents one group and in user_ids
column you have set of user ids assigned to that group.
Normalized version of this table would look like this
GROUP
=====================
| id | name |
---------------------
| 1 | group1 |
---------------------
| 2 | group2 |
GROUP_USER_ASSIGNMENT
======================
| group_id | user_id |
----------------------
| 1 | 1 |
----------------------
| 1 | 4 |
----------------------
| 1 | 6 |
----------------------
| 2 | 4 |
----------------------
| ...
Then you can easily select all users with assigned group, or all users in group, or all groups of user, or whatever you can think of. Also, your sql query will work:
/* Your query to select assignments */
SELECT * FROM `group_user_assignment` WHERE user_id IN (1,2,3,4);
/* Select only some users */
SELECT * FROM `group_user_assignment` t1
JOIN `group` t2 ON t2.id = t1.group_id
WHERE user_id IN (1,4);
/* Select all groups of user */
SELECT * FROM `group_user_assignment` t1
JOIN `group` t2 ON t2.id = t1.group_id
WHERE t1.`user_id` = 1;
/* Select all users of group */
SELECT * FROM `group_user_assignment` t1
JOIN `group` t2 ON t2.id = t1.group_id
WHERE t1.`group_id` = 1;
/* Count number of groups user is in */
SELECT COUNT(*) AS `groups_count` FROM `group_user_assignment` WHERE `user_id` = 1;
/* Count number of users in group */
SELECT COUNT(*) AS `users_count` FROM `group_user_assignment` WHERE `group_id` = 1;
This way it will be also easier to update database, when you would like to add new assignment, you just simply insert new row in group_user_assignment
, when you want to remove assignment you just delete row in group_user_assignment
.
In your database design, to update assignments, you would have to get your assignment set from database, process it and update and then write back to database.
Here is sqlFiddle to play with.
This might work for you:
printf "{new\nto\nlinux}" | paste -sd' '
{new to linux}
or:
printf "{new\nto\nlinux}" | tr '\n' ' '
{new to linux}
or:
printf "{new\nto\nlinux}" |sed -e ':a' -e '$!{' -e 'N' -e 'ba' -e '}' -e 's/\n/ /g'
{new to linux}
I made the following module called unicoder to be able to do the transformation on variables:
import sys
import os
def ustr(string):
string = 'u"%s"'%string
with open('_unicoder.py', 'w') as script:
script.write('# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-\n')
script.write('_ustr = %s'%string)
import _unicoder
value = _unicoder._ustr
del _unicoder
del sys.modules['_unicoder']
os.system('del _unicoder.py')
os.system('del _unicoder.pyc')
return value
Then in your program you could do the following:
# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-
from unicoder import ustr
txt = 'Hello, Unicode World'
txt = ustr(txt)
print type(txt) # <type 'unicode'>
Assuming you're getting norm
from scipy.stats
, you probably just need to sort your list:
import numpy as np
import scipy.stats as stats
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
h = [186, 176, 158, 180, 186, 168, 168, 164, 178, 170, 189, 195, 172,
187, 180, 186, 185, 168, 179, 178, 183, 179, 170, 175, 186, 159,
161, 178, 175, 185, 175, 162, 173, 172, 177, 175, 172, 177, 180]
h.sort()
hmean = np.mean(h)
hstd = np.std(h)
pdf = stats.norm.pdf(h, hmean, hstd)
plt.plot(h, pdf) # including h here is crucial
And so I get:
Beware of CSS : display:inline-block
when printing.
None of the CCS property to go to next page would work for me in Chrome and Firefox if my table was inside a div with the style display:inline-block
For example, the following doesn't work :
<div style='display:inline-block'>
<table style='page-break-before:always'>
...
</table>
<table style='page-break-before:always'>
...
</table>
</div>
But the following work :
<div>
<table style='page-break-before:always'>
...
</table>
<table style='page-break-before:always'>
...
</table>
</div>
plt.subplots()
is a function that returns a tuple containing a figure and axes object(s). Thus when using fig, ax = plt.subplots()
you unpack this tuple into the variables fig
and ax
. Having fig
is useful if you want to change figure-level attributes or save the figure as an image file later (e.g. with fig.savefig('yourfilename.png')
). You certainly don't have to use the returned figure object but many people do use it later so it's common to see. Also, all axes objects (the objects that have plotting methods), have a parent figure object anyway, thus:
fig, ax = plt.subplots()
is more concise than this:
fig = plt.figure()
ax = fig.add_subplot(111)

Although it might be heresy in today's world - in the past you would do the following non-css code. This works in everything up to and including today's browsers but - as I have said - it is heresy in today's world:
<center>
<table>
...
</table>
</center>
What you need is some way to tell that you want to center a table and the person is using an older browser. Then insert the "<center>" commands around the table. Otherwise - use css.
Surprisingly - if you want to center everything in the BODY area - you just can use the standard
text-align: center;
css command and in IE8 (at least) it will center everything on the page including tables.
Without any assumptions the answer is:
{% if var is null %}
But this will be true only if var
is exactly NULL
, and not any other value that evaluates to false
(such as zero, empty string and empty array). Besides, it will cause an error if var
is not defined. A safer way would be:
{% if var is not defined or var is null %}
which can be shortened to:
{% if var|default is null %}
If you don't provide an argument to the default
filter, it assumes NULL
(sort of default default). So the shortest and safest way (I know) to check whether a variable is empty (null, false, empty string/array, etc):
{% if var|default is empty %}
You can use flex:
@media (min-width: 768px) {
.row-fluid {
display: flex;
align-items: flex-end;
}
}
I had the same issue.For me the problem was how to configure a cache limit to images.And i came across this site which gave some insights to the procedure on how the issue can be handled.Hope it will be helpful for you too Link:[https://varvy.com/pagespeed/cache-control.html]
I really think you will benefit from establishing the following function calling coding guidelines:
As in all other places, always be const
-correct.
const
specifier.Only pass a value by pointer if the value 0/NULL is a valid input in the current context.
Rationale 1: As a caller, you see that whatever you pass in must be in a usable state.
Rationale 2: As called, you know that whatever comes in is in a usable state. Hence, no NULL-check or error handling needs to be done for that value.
Rationale 3: Rationales 1 and 2 will be compiler enforced. Always catch errors at compile time if you can.
If a function argument is an out-value, then pass it by reference.
Choose "pass by value" over "pass by const reference" only if the value is a POD (Plain old Datastructure) or small enough (memory-wise) or in other ways cheap enough (time-wise) to copy.
GCD
is a low-level C-based API.
NSOperation
and NSOperationQueue
are Objective-C classes.
NSOperationQueue
is objective C wrapper over GCD
.
If you are using NSOperation, then you are implicitly using Grand Central Dispatch.
GCD advantage over NSOperation:
i. implementation
For GCD
implementation is very light-weight
NSOperationQueue
is complex and heavy-weight
NSOperation advantages over GCD:
i. Control On Operation
you can Pause, Cancel, Resume an NSOperation
ii. Dependencies
you can set up a dependency between two NSOperations
operation will not started until all of its dependencies return true for finished.
iii. State of Operation
can monitor the state of an operation or operation queue.
ready ,executing or finished
iv. Max Number of Operation
you can specify the maximum number of queued operations that can run simultaneously
When to Go for GCD
or NSOperation
when you want more control over queue (all above mentioned) use NSOperation
and for simple cases where you want less overhead
(you just want to do some work "into the background" with very little additional work) use GCD

These are the same things you use for arrays too.
These will show protected and private properties of objects with PHP 5. Static class members will not be shown according to the manual.
If you want to know the member methods you can use get_class_methods():
$class_methods = get_class_methods('myclass');
// or
$class_methods = get_class_methods(new myclass());
foreach ($class_methods as $method_name)
{
echo "$method_name<br/>";
}
Related stuff:
get_class() <-- for the name of the instance
On Windows, you need to download it and install the .exe
=SUMPRODUCT( (MONTH($A$2:$A$6)=1) * ($B$2:$B$6) )
Explanation:
(MONTH($A$2:$A$6)=1)
creates an array of 1 and 0, it's 1 when the
month is january, thus in your example the returned array would be [1, 1, 1, 0, 0]
SUMPRODUCT
first multiplies each value of the array created in the above step with values of the array ($B$2:$B$6)
, then it sums them. Hence in
your example it does this: (1 * 430) + (1 * 96) + (1 * 440) + (0 * 72.10) + (0 * 72.30)
This works also in OpenOffice and Google Spreadsheets
Use:
$ git submodule
It will list all the submodules in the specified Git repository.
Faced the same error when I had a programming error in one of the ASHX files: it was created by copying another file, and inherited its class name in the code behind statement. There was no error when all ASPX and ASHX files ran in IIS Express locally, but once deployed to the server they stopped working (all of them).
Once I found that one ASHX page and fixed the class name to reflect its own class name, all ASPX and ASHX files started working fine in IIS.
Logical address:- Logical address generated by the CPU . when we are give the problem to the computer then our computer pass the problem to the processor through logical address , which we are not seen this address called logical address .
Physical address :- when our processor create process and solve our problem then we store data in secondary memory through address called physical address
I have found a great work-around for this. It really only works practically if you want to be able to select up to 4 or so options from your drop down list but here it is:
For each "item" create as many rows as drop-down items you'd like to be able to select. So if you want to be able to select up to 3 characteristics from a given drop down list for each person on your list, create a total of 3 rows for each person. Then merge A:1-A:3, B:1-B:3, C:1-C:3 etc until you reach the column that you'd like your drop-down list to be. Don't merge those cells, instead place the your Data Validation drop-down in each of those cells.
Hope this is clear!!
"Caution: provisional headers are shown" message can be shown when website hosted on HTTPS invokes a calls to WebApi hosted on HTTP. You can check all if all your Api's are HTTPS. Browser prevents to do a call to insecure resource. You can see similar message in your code when use FETCH API to domain with HTTP.
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://website.com' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'http://webapi.com'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Let MySql convert your unix timestamp to string. Use the mysql function FROM_UNIXTIME( 113283901 )
You can set custom font in two ways : design time
and run-time
.
First you need to download required font
(.ttf file format). Then, double click on the file to install it.
This will show a pop-up. Click on 'install font
' button.
'Fonts'
window.Add to targets
' is checked.Copy Bundle Resources'
present in Build Phases
of Targets
of your project.Info.plist
of your project.
Create a new key with 'Font Provided by application
' with type as Array.
Add a the font as an element with type String in Array.A. Design mode :
Font
attribute present in Attribute inspector
of Utilities
.B. Run-time mode :
self.lblWelcome.font = UIFont(name: "BananaYeti-Extrabold Trial", size: 16)
It seems that run-time mode doesn't work for dynamically formed string like
self.lblWelcome.text = "Welcome, " + fullname + "!"
Note that in above case only design-time approach worked correctly for me.
Here is some simple solution, All you need is to inflate XML layout just like you do on list adapters, just make XML layout to inflate it. Here is code that all you need.
public class HUD extends Service {
View mView;
LayoutInflater inflate;
TextView t;
Button b;
@Override
public void onCreate() {
super.onCreate();
Toast.makeText(getBaseContext(),"onCreate", Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
WindowManager wm = (WindowManager) getSystemService(WINDOW_SERVICE);
Display display = wm.getDefaultDisplay(); get phone display size
int width = display.getWidth(); // deprecated - get phone display width
int height = display.getHeight(); // deprecated - get phone display height
WindowManager.LayoutParams params = new WindowManager.LayoutParams(
width,
height,
WindowManager.LayoutParams.TYPE_SYSTEM_ALERT,
WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_NOT_FOCUSABLE
|WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_NOT_TOUCH_MODAL
|WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_WATCH_OUTSIDE_TOUCH,
PixelFormat.TRANSLUCENT);
params.gravity = Gravity.LEFT | Gravity.CENTER;
params.setTitle("Load Average");
inflate = (LayoutInflater) getBaseContext()
.getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE);
mView = inflate.inflate(R.layout.canvas, null);
b = (Button) mView.findViewById(R.id.button1);
t = (TextView) mView.findViewById(R.id.textView1);
b.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() {
public void onClick(View v) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
t.setText("yes you click me ");
}
});
wm.addView(mView, params);
}
@Override
public IBinder onBind(Intent arg0) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
return null;
}
}
What about:
If Not I = x Then
' Do something '
End If
' Move to next item '
Add width:100px, margin:50%.
Now the left side of the button is set to the center.
Finally add half of the width of the button in our case 50px.
The middle of the button is in the center.
<input type='submit' style='width:100px;margin:0 50%;position:relative;left:-50px;'>
That is not possible. A function that has a non-void return type (even if it's Void
) has to return a value. However you could add static methods to Action
that allows you to "create" a Action
:
interface Action<T, U> {
U execute(T t);
public static Action<Void, Void> create(Runnable r) {
return (t) -> {r.run(); return null;};
}
public static <T, U> Action<T, U> create(Action<T, U> action) {
return action;
}
}
That would allow you to write the following:
// create action from Runnable
Action.create(()-> System.out.println("Hello World")).execute(null);
// create normal action
System.out.println(Action.create((Integer i) -> "number: " + i).execute(100));
If you want control over the duration and style of the animation, you can do:
[UIView animateWithDuration:2.0f delay:0 options:UIViewAnimationOptionCurveLinear animations:^{
scrollView.contentOffset = CGPointMake(x, y);
} completion:NULL];
Adjust the duration (2.0f
) and options (UIViewAnimationOptionCurveLinear
) to taste!
If you are using pip 19.0.3
and python 3.7.4
. Then go for pip list
command in your virtualenv. It will show all the installed packages with respective versions.
For WampServer 2.2 with Apache 2.4.2 I ended up with:
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride all
Require local
I use this version
<style><%@include file="/WEB-INF/css/style.css"%></style>
It means not equal to, as the others said..
I just wanted to say that I read that as "greater than or lesser than".
e.g.
let x = 12
if x <> 0 then
//code
In this case 'x' is greater than (that's the '>' symbol) 0.
Hope this helps. :D
For users that are not members of the sysadmin role on the SQL Server instance you need to do the following actions to grant access to the xp_cmdshell extended stored procedure. In addition if you forgot one of the steps I have listed the error that will be thrown.
Enable the xp_cmdshell procedure
Msg 15281, Level 16, State 1, Procedure xp_cmdshell, Line 1 SQL Server blocked access to procedure 'sys.xp_cmdshell' of component 'xp_cmdshell' because this component is turned off as part of the security configuration for this server. It would seem from your error that either step 2 or 3 was missed. I am not familiar with clusters to know if there is anything particular to that setup.
I just tried out your build.gradle
and it worked fine for me to import GMS, so that's not the issue.
This was with Google Play services (rev 13)
and Google Repository (rev 4)
. Check out those are installed one more time :)
The most reliable way I have found to do this is to use np.savetxt
with np.loadtxt
and not np.fromfile
which is better suited to binary files written with tofile
. The np.fromfile
and np.tofile
methods write and read binary files whereas np.savetxt
writes a text file.
So, for example:
a = np.array([1, 2, 3, 4])
np.savetxt('test1.txt', a, fmt='%d')
b = np.loadtxt('test1.txt', dtype=int)
a == b
# array([ True, True, True, True], dtype=bool)
Or:
a.tofile('test2.dat')
c = np.fromfile('test2.dat', dtype=int)
c == a
# array([ True, True, True, True], dtype=bool)
I use the former method even if it is slower and creates bigger files (sometimes): the binary format can be platform dependent (for example, the file format depends on the endianness of your system).
There is a platform independent format for NumPy arrays, which can be saved and read with np.save
and np.load
:
np.save('test3.npy', a) # .npy extension is added if not given
d = np.load('test3.npy')
a == d
# array([ True, True, True, True], dtype=bool)
One of the benefits is that Razor views can be rendered inside unit tests, this is something that was not easily possible with the previous ASP.Net renderer.
From ScottGu's announcement this is listed as one of the design goals:
Unit Testable: The new view engine implementation will support the ability to unit test views (without requiring a controller or web-server, and can be hosted in any unit test project – no special app-domain required).
I don't think it will make a significant difference in compile time but #pragma once
is very well supported across compilers but not actually part of the standard. The preprocessor may be a little faster with it as it is more simple to understand your exact intent.
#pragma once
is less prone to making mistakes and it is less code to type.
To speed up compile time more just forward declare instead of including in .h files when you can.
I prefer to use #pragma once
.
See this wikipedia article about the possibility of using both.
I have changed a little bit previous answer and compose WPF version of the MessageBoxEx. This code works for me great. Feel free to notify about issues of the code.
Please note:
I use GeneralObjects.MainWindowInstance

This is very possible; you define the URI scheme in your AndroidManifest.xml, using the <data>
element. You setup an intent filter with the <data>
element filled out, and you'll be able to create your own scheme. (More on intent filters and intent resolution here.)
Here's a short example:
<activity android:name=".MyUriActivity">
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE" />
<data android:scheme="myapp" android:host="path" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
As per how implicit intents work, you need to define at least one action and one category as well; here I picked VIEW as the action (though it could be anything), and made sure to add the DEFAULT category (as this is required for all implicit intents). Also notice how I added the category BROWSABLE - this is not necessary, but it will allow your URIs to be openable from the browser (a nifty feature).
Short answer: Don't do it.
Longer answer: Use WCF. It's here to replace Asmx.
see this answer for example, or the first comment on this one.
John Saunders: ASMX is a legacy technology, and should not be used for new development. WCF or ASP.NET Web API should be used for all new development of web service clients and servers. One hint: Microsoft has retired the ASMX Forum on MSDN.
As for comment ... well, if you have to, you have to. I'll leave you in the competent hands of the other answers then. (Even though it's funny it has issues, and if it does, why are you doing it in VS2013 to begin with ?)
@jonrsharpe has an excellent explanation of what's going on. I thought I'd just show the difference in time when running each of the 3 options 10,000,000 times (enough for a slight difference to show).
Code used:
def a(x):
if x != 'val':
pass
def b(x):
if not x == 'val':
pass
def c(x):
if x == 'val':
pass
else:
pass
x = 1
for i in range(10000000):
a(x)
b(x)
c(x)
And the cProfile profiler results:
So we can see that there is a very minute difference of ~0.7% between if not x == 'val':
and if x != 'val':
. Of these, if x != 'val':
is the fastest.
However, most surprisingly, we can see that
if x == 'val':
pass
else:
is in fact the fastest, and beats if x != 'val':
by ~0.3%. This isn't very readable, but I guess if you wanted a negligible performance improvement, one could go down this route.
You should do like this:
@Html.DropDownListFor(m => m.ContribType,
new SelectList(Model.ContribTypeOptions,
"ContribId", "Value"))
Where:
m => m.ContribType
is a property where the result value will be.
In order to clear all local notifications in iOS 10 apps, you should use the following code:
import UserNotifications
...
if #available(iOS 10.0, *) {
let center = UNUserNotificationCenter.current()
center.removeAllPendingNotificationRequests() // To remove all pending notifications which are not delivered yet but scheduled.
center.removeAllDeliveredNotifications() // To remove all delivered notifications
} else {
UIApplication.shared.cancelAllLocalNotifications()
}
This code handles the clearing of local notifications for iOS 10.x and all preceding versions of iOS. You will need to import UserNotifications
for the iOS 10.x code.
Sorry this isn't complete because I can't test it here, but it may get you off in the right direction. I'm translating from something I use that makes a similar query:
select mt.section, mt1.count as Active, mt2.count as Inactive
from mytable mt
left join (select section, count from mytable where status='Active')mt1
on mt.section = mt1.section
left join (select section, count from mytable where status='Inactive')mt2
on mt.section = mt2.section
group by mt.section,
mt1.count,
mt2.count
order by mt.section asc;
The code I'm working from is:
select m.typeID, m1.highBid, m2.lowAsk, m1.highBid - m2.lowAsk as diff, 100*(m1.highBid - m2.lowAsk)/m2.lowAsk as diffPercent
from mktTrades m
left join (select typeID,MAX(price) as highBid from mktTrades where bid=1 group by typeID)m1
on m.typeID = m1.typeID
left join (select typeID,MIN(price) as lowAsk from mktTrades where bid=0 group by typeID)m2
on m1.typeID = m2.typeID
group by m.typeID,
m1.highBid,
m2.lowAsk
order by diffPercent desc;
which will return a typeID, the highest price bid and the lowest price asked and the difference between the two (a positive difference would mean something could be bought for less than it can be sold).
The psych
package has a great option for grouped summary stats:
library(psych)
describeBy(dt, group="grp")
produces lots of useful stats including mean, median, range, sd, se.
In general Value Objects should be Immutable. Like Integer or String objects in Java. We can use them for transferring data between software layers. If the software layers or services running in different remote nodes like in a microservices environment or in a legacy Java Enterprise App. We must make almost exact copies of two classes. This is the where we met DTOs.
|-----------| |--------------|
| SERVICE 1 |--> Credentials DTO >--------> Credentials DTO >-- | AUTH SERVICE |
|-----------| |--------------|
In legacy Java Enterprise Systems DTOs can have various EJB stuff in it.
I do not know this is a best practice or not but I personally use Value Objects in my Spring MVC/Boot Projects like this:
|------------| |------------------| |------------|
-> Form | | -> Form | | -> Entity | |
| Controller | | Service / Facade | | Repository |
<- View | | <- View | | <- Entity / Projection View | |
|------------| |------------------| |------------|
Controller layer doesn't know what are the entities are. It communicates with Form and View Value Objects. Form Objects has JSR 303 Validation annotations (for instance @NotNull) and View Value Objects have Jackson Annotations for custom serialization. (for instance @JsonIgnore)
Service layer communicates with repository layer via using Entity Objects. Entity objects have JPA/Hibernate/Spring Data annotations on it. Every layer communicates with only the lower layer. The inter-layer communication is prohibited because of circular/cyclic dependency.
User Service ----> XX CANNOT CALL XX ----> Order Service
Some ORM Frameworks have the ability of projection via using additional interfaces or classes. So repositories can return View objects directly. There for you do not need an additional transformation.
For instance this is our User entity:
@Entity
public final class User {
private String id;
private String firstname;
private String lastname;
private String phone;
private String fax;
private String address;
// Accessors ...
}
But you should return a Paginated list of users that just include id, firstname, lastname. Then you can create a View Value Object for ORM projection.
public final class UserListItemView {
private String id;
private String firstname;
private String lastname;
// Accessors ...
}
You can easily get the paginated result from repository layer. Thanks to spring you can also use just interfaces for projections.
List<UserListItemView> find(Pageable pageable);
Don't worry for other conversion operations BeanUtils.copy
method works just fine.
I would just add an alternative to all those HeaderRecyclerViewAdapter implementation. CompoundAdapter:
https://github.com/negusoft/CompoundAdapter-android
It is a more flexible approach, since you can create a AdapterGroup out of Adapters. For the header example, use your adapter as it is, along with an adapter containing one item for the header:
AdapterGroup adapterGroup = new AdapterGroup();
adapterGroup.addAdapter(SingleAdapter.create(R.layout.header));
adapterGroup.addAdapter(new MyAdapter(...));
recyclerView.setAdapter(adapterGroup);
It is fairly simple and readable. You can implement more complex adapter easily using the same principle.
ProgressDialog pd = new ProgressDialog(yourActivity.this);
pd.setMessage("loading");
pd.show();
And that's all you need.
My full example is here, but I will provide a summary below.
Layout
Add a .swift and .xib file each with the same name to your project. The .xib file contains your custom view layout (using auto layout constraints preferably).
Make the swift file the xib file's owner.
Add the following code to the .swift file and hook up the outlets and actions from the .xib file.
import UIKit
class ResuableCustomView: UIView {
let nibName = "ReusableCustomView"
var contentView: UIView?
@IBOutlet weak var label: UILabel!
@IBAction func buttonTap(_ sender: UIButton) {
label.text = "Hi"
}
required init?(coder aDecoder: NSCoder) {
super.init(coder: aDecoder)
guard let view = loadViewFromNib() else { return }
view.frame = self.bounds
self.addSubview(view)
contentView = view
}
func loadViewFromNib() -> UIView? {
let bundle = Bundle(for: type(of: self))
let nib = UINib(nibName: nibName, bundle: bundle)
return nib.instantiate(withOwner: self, options: nil).first as? UIView
}
}
Use it
Use your custom view anywhere in your storyboard. Just add a UIView
and set the class name to your custom class name.
For a while Christopher Swasey's approach was the best approach I had found. I asked a couple of the senior devs on my team about it and one of them had the perfect solution! It satisfies every one of the concerns that Christopher Swasey so eloquently addressed and it doesn't require boilerplate subclass code(my main concern with his approach). There is one gotcha, but other than that it is fairly intuitive and easy to implement.
MyCustomClass.swift
MyCustomClass.xib
File's Owner
of the .xib file to be your custom class (MyCustomClass
)class
value (under the identity Inspector
) for your custom view in the .xib file blank. So your custom view will have no specified class, but it will have a specified File's Owner.Assistant Editor
.
Connections Inspector
you will notice that your Referencing Outlets do not reference your custom class (i.e. MyCustomClass
), but rather reference File's Owner
. Since File's Owner
is specified to be your custom class, the outlets will hook up and work propery. NibLoadable
protocol referenced below.
.swift
file name is different from your .xib
file name, then set the nibName
property to be the name of your .xib
file.required init?(coder aDecoder: NSCoder)
and override init(frame: CGRect)
to call setupFromNib()
like the example below.MyCustomClass
).Here is the protocol you will want to reference:
public protocol NibLoadable {
static var nibName: String { get }
}
public extension NibLoadable where Self: UIView {
public static var nibName: String {
return String(describing: Self.self) // defaults to the name of the class implementing this protocol.
}
public static var nib: UINib {
let bundle = Bundle(for: Self.self)
return UINib(nibName: Self.nibName, bundle: bundle)
}
func setupFromNib() {
guard let view = Self.nib.instantiate(withOwner: self, options: nil).first as? UIView else { fatalError("Error loading \(self) from nib") }
addSubview(view)
view.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
view.leadingAnchor.constraint(equalTo: self.safeAreaLayoutGuide.leadingAnchor, constant: 0).isActive = true
view.topAnchor.constraint(equalTo: self.safeAreaLayoutGuide.topAnchor, constant: 0).isActive = true
view.trailingAnchor.constraint(equalTo: self.safeAreaLayoutGuide.trailingAnchor, constant: 0).isActive = true
view.bottomAnchor.constraint(equalTo: self.safeAreaLayoutGuide.bottomAnchor, constant: 0).isActive = true
}
}
And here is an example of MyCustomClass
that implements the protocol (with the .xib file being named MyCustomClass.xib
):
@IBDesignable
class MyCustomClass: UIView, NibLoadable {
@IBOutlet weak var myLabel: UILabel!
required init?(coder aDecoder: NSCoder) {
super.init(coder: aDecoder)
setupFromNib()
}
override init(frame: CGRect) {
super.init(frame: frame)
setupFromNib()
}
}
NOTE: If you miss the Gotcha and set the class
value inside your .xib file to be your custom class, then it will not draw in the storyboard and you will get a EXC_BAD_ACCESS
error when you run the app because it gets stuck in an infinite loop of trying to initialize the class from the nib using the init?(coder aDecoder: NSCoder)
method which then calls Self.nib.instantiate
and calls the init
again.
Removing only decimal part can be done as follows:
number.replace(/(\.\d+)+/,'');
This would convert 13.6667px into 13px (leaving units px untouched).
You want the :checkbox:checked
selector and map
to create an array of the values:
var checkedValues = $('input:checkbox:checked').map(function() {
return this.value;
}).get();
If your checkboxes have a shared class it would be faster to use that instead, eg. $('.mycheckboxes:checked')
, or for a common name $('input[name="Foo"]:checked')
- Update -
If you don't need IE support then you can now make the map()
call more succinct by using an arrow function:
var checkedValues = $('input:checkbox:checked').map((i, el) => el.value).get();
Performance is based on the amount of data you are executing on...
If it is less data around 20k. JOIN works better.
If the data is more like 100k+ then IN works better.
If you do not need the data from the other table, IN is good, But it is alwys better to go for EXISTS.
All these criterias I tested and the tables have proper indexes.
It will contain the actual size of the array as that is what you initialized the array to be when you declared it. Java has no concept of the "logical" size of an array, as far as it is concerned the default value of 0 is just as logical as the values you have manually set.
using jQuery it's easy...
$('YOUR CLASS SELECTOR').click(function(){
$(this).toggle();
});
gmap.animateCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.newCameraPosition(new CameraPosition(new LatLng(9.491327, 76.571404), 10, 30, 0)));
See The Bash Manual under 3.4.2 Special Parameters:
? - Expands to the exit status of the most recently executed foreground pipeline.
It is a little hard to find because it is not listed as $?
(the variable name is "just" ?
). Also see the exit status section, of course ;-)
Happy coding.
A alternative solution to work with lists based on Scharron's solution
def myprint(d):
my_list = d.iteritems() if isinstance(d, dict) else enumerate(d)
for k, v in my_list:
if isinstance(v, dict) or isinstance(v, list):
myprint(v)
else:
print u"{0} : {1}".format(k, v)
Make your Project and Workspace to point to JDK7 which will resolve the issue. https://developers.google.com/eclipse/docs/jdk_compliance has given ways to modify Compliance and Facet level changes.
I had a similar problem. As I got a Character from my XML child I had to convert it first to a String (or Integer, if you expect one). The following shows how I solved the problem.
foreach($xml->children() as $newInstr){
$iInstrument = new Instrument($newInstr['id'],$newInstr->Naam,$newInstr->Key);
$arrInstruments->offsetSet((String)$iInstrument->getID(), $iInstrument);
}
Both functions are used to move to the next Scanner token.
The difference lies in how the scanner token is generated
next() generates scanner tokens using delimiter as White Space
nextLine() generates scanner tokens using delimiter as '\n' (i.e Enter key presses)
For traditional extending you can simply write superclass as constructor function, and then apply this constructor for your inherited class.
function AbstractClass() {
this.superclass_method = function(message) {
// do something
};
}
function Child() {
AbstractClass.apply(this);
// Now Child will have superclass_method()
}
Example on angularjs:
http://plnkr.co/edit/eFixlsgF3nJ1LeWUJKsd?p=preview
app.service('noisyThing',
['notify',function(notify){
this._constructor = function() {
this.scream = function(message) {
message = message + " by " + this.get_mouth();
notify(message);
console.log(message);
};
this.get_mouth = function(){
return 'abstract mouth';
}
}
}])
.service('cat',
['noisyThing', function(noisyThing){
noisyThing._constructor.apply(this)
this.meow = function() {
this.scream('meooooow');
}
this.get_mouth = function(){
return 'fluffy mouth';
}
}])
.service('bird',
['noisyThing', function(noisyThing){
noisyThing._constructor.apply(this)
this.twit = function() {
this.scream('fuuuuuuck');
}
}])
@David, thanks for the recommendation! @fluid_chelsea, I've just released Any+Time(TM) version 3.x which uses jQuery instead of Prototype and has a much-improved interface, so I hope it now meets your needs:
Any problems, please let me know via the comment link on my website!
Pass the decode pattern to ParseExact
Dim d as string = "201210120956"
Dim dt = DateTime.ParseExact(d, "yyyyMMddhhmm", Nothing)
ParseExact is available only from Net FrameWork 2.0.
If you are still on 1.1 you could use Parse, but you need to provide the IFormatProvider adequate to your string
The code finally used is the following from:
http://www.java2s.com/Code/Java/File-Input-Output/ConvertInputStreamtoString.htm
public static String convertStreamToString(InputStream is) throws Exception {
BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is));
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
String line = null;
while ((line = reader.readLine()) != null) {
sb.append(line).append("\n");
}
reader.close();
return sb.toString();
}
public static String getStringFromFile (String filePath) throws Exception {
File fl = new File(filePath);
FileInputStream fin = new FileInputStream(fl);
String ret = convertStreamToString(fin);
//Make sure you close all streams.
fin.close();
return ret;
}
Have you considered using:
where('date', '<', '2014-08-11')
You should avoid using the DATE()
function on indexed columns in MySQL, as this prevents the engine from using the index.
UPDATE
As there seems to be some disagreement about the importance of DATE()
and indexes, I have created a fiddle that demonstrates the difference, see POSSIBLE KEYS
.
SOAPpy is now obsolete, AFAIK, replaced by ZSL. It's a moot point, because I can't get either one to work, much less compile, on either Python 2.5 or Python 2.6
Google says to check out getenv():
Returns an unmodifiable string map view of the current system environment.
I'm not sure how system variables differ from environment variables, however, so if you could clarify I could help out more.
Highlight "B1" and press F4. This will lock the cell.
Now you can drag it around and it will not change. The principle is simple. It adds a dollar sign before both coordinates. A dollar sign in front of a coordinate will lock it when you copy the formula around. You can have partially locked coordinates and fully locked coordinates.
The problem with other proposed solutions is that they will either drop characters that cannot be directly mapped to ASCII, or replace them with a marker character like ?
.
You might desire to have for example accented characters converted to that same character without the accent. There are a couple of tricks to do this (including building a static mapping table yourself or leveraging existing 'normalization' defined for unicode), but those methods are far from complete.
Your best bet is using the junidecode library, which cannot be complete either but incorporates a lot of experience in the most sane way of transliterating Unicode to ASCII.
For me this code worked best:
private func getCoordinate(_ view: UIView) -> CGPoint {
var x = view.frame.origin.x
var y = view.frame.origin.y
var oldView = view
while let superView = oldView.superview {
x += superView.frame.origin.x
y += superView.frame.origin.y
if superView.next is UIViewController {
break //superView is the rootView of a UIViewController
}
oldView = superView
}
return CGPoint(x: x, y: y)
}
I want to handle passing multiple lists, integer values and strings.
Helpful link => How to pass a Bash variable to Python?
def main(args):
my_args = []
for arg in args:
if arg.startswith("[") and arg.endswith("]"):
arg = arg.replace("[", "").replace("]", "")
my_args.append(arg.split(","))
else:
my_args.append(arg)
print(my_args)
if __name__ == "__main__":
import sys
main(sys.argv[1:])
Order is not important. If you want to pass a list just do as in between "["
and "]
and seperate them using a comma.
Then,
python test.py my_string 3 "[1,2]" "[3,4,5]"
Output => ['my_string', '3', ['1', '2'], ['3', '4', '5']]
, my_args
variable contains the arguments in order.
For those out there who still couldn't fix this, I did so by changing my 'this' to '$(this)' when using jQuery.
E.G:
$('.icon').click(function() {
this.fadeOut();
});
Fixed:
$('.icon').click(function() {
$(this).fadeOut();
});
I went through all of these answers and none of them worked for me unfortunately. However, I found this extremely simple way, after about an hour of searching : )
myView.layer.backgroundColor = CGColorCreateGenericRGB(0, 0, 0, 0.9);

Here's intuitive understanding of runtime complexity of Euclid's algorithm. The formal proofs are covered in various texts such as Introduction to Algorithms and TAOCP Vol 2.
First think about what if we tried to take gcd of two Fibonacci numbers F(k+1) and F(k). You might quickly observe that Euclid's algorithm iterates on to F(k) and F(k-1). That is, with each iteration we move down one number in Fibonacci series. As Fibonacci numbers are O(Phi ^ k) where Phi is golden ratio, we can see that runtime of GCD was O(log n) where n=max(a, b) and log has base of Phi. Next, we can prove that this would be the worst case by observing that Fibonacci numbers consistently produces pairs where the remainders remains large enough in each iteration and never become zero until you have arrived at the start of the series.
We can make O(log n) where n=max(a, b) bound even more tighter. Assume that b >= a so we can write bound at O(log b). First, observe that GCD(ka, kb) = GCD(a, b). As biggest values of k is gcd(a,c), we can replace b with b/gcd(a,b) in our runtime leading to more tighter bound of O(log b/gcd(a,b)).
"How to avoid pressing Enter with
getchar()
?"
First of all, terminal input is commonly either line or fully buffered. This means that the operation system stores the actual input from the terminal into a buffer. Usually, this buffer is flushed to the program when f.e. \n
was signalized/provided in stdin
. This is f.e. made by a press to Enter.
getchar()
is just at the end of the chain. It has no ability to actually influence the buffering process.
"How can I do this?"
Ditch getchar()
in the first place, if you don´t want to use specific system calls to change the behavior of the terminal explicitly like well explained in the other answers.
There is unfortunately no standard library function and with that no portable way to flush the buffer at single character input. However, there are implementation-based and non-portable solutions.
In Windows/MS-DOS, there are the getch()
and getche()
functions in the conio.h
header file, which do exactly the thing you want - read a single character without the need to wait for the newline to flush the buffer.
The main difference between getch()
and getche()
is that getch()
does not immediately output the actual input character in the console, while getche()
does. The additional "e"
stands for echo.
Example:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <conio.h>
int main (void)
{
int c;
while ((c = getche()) != EOF)
{
if (c == '\n')
{
break;
}
printf("\n");
}
return 0;
}
In Linux, a way to obtain direct character processing and output is to use the cbreak()
and echo()
options and the getch()
and refresh()
routines in the ncurses-library.
Note, that you need to initialize the so called standard screen with the initscr()
and close the same with the endwin()
routines.
Example:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <ncurses.h>
int main (void)
{
int c;
cbreak();
echo();
initscr();
while ((c = getch()) != ERR)
{
if (c == '\n')
{
break;
}
printf("\n");
refresh();
}
endwin();
return 0;
}
Note: You need to invoke the compiler with the -lncurses
option, so that the linker can search and find the ncurses-library.
You can' just add a class to each of your DIVs and apply the rule to the class in this way:
HTML:
<div class="myclass" id="s1">...</div>
<div class="myclass" id="s2">...</div>
CSS:
//css
.myclass
{
...
}
As of Git v2.23.0 (August 2019), git switch
is preferred over git checkout
when you’re simply switching branches/tags. I’m guessing they did this since git checkout
had two functions: for switching branches and for restoring files. So in v2.23.0, they added two new commands, git switch
, and git restore
, to separate those concerns. I would predict at some point in the future, git checkout
will be deprecated.
To switch to a normal branch, use git switch <branch-name>
. To switch to a commit-like object, including single commits and tags, use git switch --detach <commitish>
, where <commitish>
is the tag name or commit number.
The --detach
option forces you to recognize that you’re in a mode of “inspection and discardable experiments”. To create a new branch from the commitish you’re switching to, use git switch -c <new-branch> <start-point>
.
The accepted answer is correct, but there is a more clever/efficient way to do this if you need to convert a whole bunch of ASCII characters to their ASCII codes at once. Instead of doing:
for ch in mystr:
code = ord(ch)
or the slightly faster:
for code in map(ord, mystr):
you convert to Python native types that iterate the codes directly. On Python 3, it's trivial:
for code in mystr.encode('ascii'):
and on Python 2.6/2.7, it's only slightly more involved because it doesn't have a Py3 style bytes
object (bytes
is an alias for str
, which iterates by character), but they do have bytearray
:
# If mystr is definitely str, not unicode
for code in bytearray(mystr):
# If mystr could be either str or unicode
for code in bytearray(mystr, 'ascii'):
Encoding as a type that natively iterates by ordinal means the conversion goes much faster; in local tests on both Py2.7 and Py3.5, iterating a str
to get its ASCII codes using map(ord, mystr)
starts off taking about twice as long for a len
10 str
than using bytearray(mystr)
on Py2 or mystr.encode('ascii')
on Py3, and as the str
gets longer, the multiplier paid for map(ord, mystr)
rises to ~6.5x-7x.
The only downside is that the conversion is all at once, so your first result might take a little longer, and a truly enormous str
would have a proportionately large temporary bytes
/bytearray
, but unless this forces you into page thrashing, this isn't likely to matter.
In ReactJS if you are rendering an array of elements you should have a unique key for each those elements. Normally those kinda situations are creating a list.
Example:
function List() {
const numbers = [0,1,2,3];
return (
<ul>{numbers.map((n) => <li> {n} </li>)}</ul>
);
}
ReactDOM.render(
<List />,
document.getElementById('root')
);
In the above example, it creates a dynamic list using li
tag, so since li
tag does not have a unique key it shows an error.
After fixed:
function List() {
const numbers = [0,1,2,3];
return (
<ul>{numbers.map((n) => <li key={n}> {n} </li>)}</ul>
);
}
ReactDOM.render(
<List />,
document.getElementById('root')
);
Alternative solution when use map when you don't have a unique key (this is not recommended by react eslint ):
function List() {
const numbers = [0,1,2,3,4,4];
return (
<ul>{numbers.map((n,i) => <li key={i}> {n} </li>)}</ul>
);
}
ReactDOM.render(
<List />,
document.getElementById('root')
);

First of all, the easiest way to run things at startup is to add them to the file /etc/rc.local
.
Another simple way is to use @reboot
in your crontab. Read the cron manpage for details.
However, if you want to do things properly, in addition to adding a script to /etc/init.d
you need to tell ubuntu when the script should be run and with what parameters. This is done with the command update-rc.d
which creates a symlink from some of the /etc/rc*
directories to your script. So, you'd need to do something like:
update-rc.d yourscriptname start 2
However, real init scripts should be able to handle a variety of command line options and otherwise integrate to the startup process. The file /etc/init.d/README
has some details and further pointers.
Some time ago I made a function that gets classess from inside JAR:
public static Class[] getClasses(String packageName)
throws ClassNotFoundException{
ArrayList<Class> classes = new ArrayList<Class> ();
packageName = packageName.replaceAll("\\." , "/");
File f = new File(jarName);
if(f.exists()){
try{
JarInputStream jarFile = new JarInputStream(
new FileInputStream (jarName));
JarEntry jarEntry;
while(true) {
jarEntry=jarFile.getNextJarEntry ();
if(jarEntry == null){
break;
}
if((jarEntry.getName ().startsWith (packageName)) &&
(jarEntry.getName ().endsWith (".class")) ) {
classes.add(Class.forName(jarEntry.getName().
replaceAll("/", "\\.").
substring(0, jarEntry.getName().length() - 6)));
}
}
}
catch( Exception e){
e.printStackTrace ();
}
Class[] classesA = new Class[classes.size()];
classes.toArray(classesA);
return classesA;
}else
return null;
}
The Print statement in TSQL is a misunderstood creature, probably because of its name. It actually sends a message to the error/message-handling mechanism that then transfers it to the calling application. PRINT is pretty dumb. You can only send 8000 characters (4000 unicode chars). You can send a literal string, a string variable (varchar or char) or a string expression. If you use RAISERROR, then you are limited to a string of just 2,044 characters. However, it is much easier to use it to send information to the calling application since it calls a formatting function similar to the old printf in the standard C library. RAISERROR can also specify an error number, a severity, and a state code in addition to the text message, and it can also be used to return user-defined messages created using the sp_addmessage system stored procedure. You can also force the messages to be logged.
Your error-handling routines won’t be any good for receiving messages, despite messages and errors being so similar. The technique varies, of course, according to the actual way you connect to the database (OLBC, OLEDB etc). In order to receive and deal with messages from the SQL Server Database Engine, when you’re using System.Data.SQLClient, you’ll need to create a SqlInfoMessageEventHandler delegate, identifying the method that handles the event, to listen for the InfoMessage event on the SqlConnection class. You’ll find that message-context information such as severity and state are passed as arguments to the callback, because from the system perspective, these messages are just like errors.
It is always a good idea to have a way of getting these messages in your application, even if you are just spooling to a file, because there is always going to be a use for them when you are trying to chase a really obscure problem. However, I can’t think I’d want the end users to ever see them unless you can reserve an informational level that displays stuff in the application.
I faced this issue and it get resolved by following steps.
Delete non existing JRE path from this file as mention in below
-vm C:/Program Files/Java/jre1.8.0_181/bin
Save this file and run eclipse again.
Here's an approach that could resolve your problem, and if not would help with troubleshooting.
Create a second Apache virtual server identical to the current one
Send all "normal" user traffic to the original virtual server
Send special or long-running traffic to the new virtual server
Special or long-running traffic could be report-generation, maintenance ops or anything else you don't expect to complete in <<1 second. This can happen serving APIs, not just web pages.
If your resource utilization is low but you still exceed MaxClients, the most likely answer is you have new connections arriving faster than they can be serviced. Putting any slow operations on a second virtual server will help prove if this is the case. Use the Apache access logs to quantify the effect.
Note that in python 3.6 a new dunder method __init_subclass__(cls, **kwargs)
was introduced to replace a lot of common use cases for metaclasses. Is is called when a subclass of the defining class is created. See python docs.
You can try loading the file into a firefox window then go to View - Character Encoding. There should be a check mark next to the file's encoding type.
Just do
find . -name '*.pdf'|xargs rm

When you run the code
listoflists.append((list, list[0]))
You are not (as I think you expect) adding a copy of list
to the end of listoflists
. What you are doing is adding a reference to list
to the end of listoflists
. Thus, every time you update list
, it updates every reference to list
, which in this case, is every item in listoflists
What you could do instead is something like this:
listoflists = []
for i in range(1, 10):
listoflists.append((range(i), 0))

alert("File too big!");

}

here) to check: env.IsEnvironment("Production")
. Do not check using env.EnvironmentName == "Production"
!Startup
classes or individual Configure
/ConfigureServices
functions. If a class or the functions match these formats, they will be used instead of the standard options on that environment.
Startup{EnvironmentName}()
(entire class) || example: StartupProduction()
Configure{EnvironmentName}()
|| example: ConfigureProduction()
Configure{EnvironmentName}Services()
|| example: ConfigureProductionServices()
The .NET Core docs describe how to accomplish this. Use an environment variable called ASPNETCORE_ENVIRONMENT
that's set to the environment you want, then you have two choices.
The
IHostingEnvironment
service provides the core abstraction for working with environments. This service is provided by the ASP.NET hosting layer, and can be injected into your startup logic via Dependency Injection. The ASP.NET Core web site template in Visual Studio uses this approach to load environment-specific configuration files (if present) and to customize the app’s error handling settings. In both cases, this behavior is achieved by referring to the currently specified environment by callingEnvironmentName
orIsEnvironment
on the instance ofIHostingEnvironment
passed into the appropriate method.
NOTE: Checking the actual value of env.EnvironmentName
is not recommended!
If you need to check whether the application is running in a particular environment, use
env.IsEnvironment("environmentname")
since it will correctly ignore case (instead of checking ifenv.EnvironmentName == "Development"
for example).
When an ASP.NET Core application starts, the
Startup
class is used to bootstrap the application, load its configuration settings, etc. (learn more about ASP.NET startup). However, if a class exists namedStartup{EnvironmentName}
(for exampleStartupDevelopment
), and theASPNETCORE_ENVIRONMENT
environment variable matches that name, then thatStartup
class is used instead. Thus, you could configureStartup
for development, but have a separateStartupProduction
that would be used when the app is run in production. Or vice versa.In addition to using an entirely separate
Startup
class based on the current environment, you can also make adjustments to how the application is configured within aStartup
class. TheConfigure()
andConfigureServices()
methods support environment-specific versions similar to theStartup
class itself, of the formConfigure{EnvironmentName}()
andConfigure{EnvironmentName}Services()
. If you define a methodConfigureDevelopment()
it will be called instead ofConfigure()
when the environment is set to development. Likewise,ConfigureDevelopmentServices()
would be called instead ofConfigureServices()
in the same environment.
If you are trying to find a View
from your Fragment
then try doing it like this:
int w = ((EditText)getActivity().findViewById(R.id.editText1)).getLayoutParams().width;
Using kramdown, it seems like this works well:
[I want this to link to foo](#foo)
....
....
{: id="foo"}
### Foo are you?
I see it's been mentioned that
[foo][#foo]
....
#Foo
works efficiently, but the former might be a good alternative for elements besides headers or else headers with multiple words.
I was able to accomplish this with VBA in Excel 2013. No special editors needed. All you need is the Visual Basic code editor which can be accessed on the Developer tab. The Developer tab is not visible by default so it needs to be enabled in File>Options>Customize Ribbon. On the Developer tab, click the Visual Basic button. The code editor will launch. Right click in the Project Explorer pane on the left. Click the insert menu and choose module. Add both subs below to the new module.
Sub LoadCustRibbon()
Dim hFile As Long
Dim path As String, fileName As String, ribbonXML As String, user As String
hFile = FreeFile
user = Environ("Username")
path = "C:\Users\" & user & "\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\"
fileName = "Excel.officeUI"
ribbonXML = "<mso:customUI xmlns:mso='http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2009/07/customui'>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:ribbon>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:qat/>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:tabs>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:tab id='reportTab' label='Reports' insertBeforeQ='mso:TabFormat'>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:group id='reportGroup' label='Reports' autoScale='true'>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " <mso:button id='runReport' label='PTO' " & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + "imageMso='AppointmentColor3' onAction='GenReport'/>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " </mso:group>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " </mso:tab>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " </mso:tabs>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + " </mso:ribbon>" & vbNewLine
ribbonXML = ribbonXML + "</mso:customUI>"
ribbonXML = Replace(ribbonXML, """", "")
Open path & fileName For Output Access Write As hFile
Print #hFile, ribbonXML
Close hFile
End Sub
Sub ClearCustRibbon()
Dim hFile As Long
Dim path As String, fileName As String, ribbonXML As String, user As String
hFile = FreeFile
user = Environ("Username")
path = "C:\Users\" & user & "\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\"
fileName = "Excel.officeUI"
ribbonXML = "<mso:customUI xmlns:mso=""http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2009/07/customui"">" & _
"<mso:ribbon></mso:ribbon></mso:customUI>"
Open path & fileName For Output Access Write As hFile
Print #hFile, ribbonXML
Close hFile
End Sub
Call LoadCustRibbon sub in the Wookbook open even and call the ClearCustRibbon sub in the Before_Close Event of the ThisWorkbook code file.
You can do it like this:
In your main view controller:
func showModal() {
let modalViewController = ModalViewController()
modalViewController.modalPresentationStyle = .overCurrentContext
presentViewController(modalViewController, animated: true, completion: nil)
}
In your modal view controller:
class ModalViewController: UIViewController {
override func viewDidLoad() {
view.backgroundColor = UIColor.clearColor()
view.opaque = false
}
}
If you are working with a storyboard:
Just add a Storyboard Segue with Kind
set to Present Modally
to your modal view controller and on this view controller set the following values:
As Crashalot pointed out in his comment: Make sure the segue only uses Default
for both Presentation
and Transition
. Using Current Context
for Presentation
makes the modal turn black instead of remaining transparent.
Method A is recommended by httpclient developer community.
Please refer http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg02455.html for more details.
Building on what is mentioned in the comments, the simplest solution would be:
@RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.PUT, consumes = MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE)
@ResponseBody
public Collection<BudgetDTO> updateConsumerBudget(@RequestBody SomeDto someDto) throws GeneralException, ParseException {
//whatever
}
class SomeDto {
private List<WhateverBudgerPerDateDTO> budgetPerDate;
//getters setters
}
The solution assumes that the HTTP request you are creating actually has
Content-Type:application/json
instead of text/plain
In addition to what @inkedmn has pointed out, a static member is at the class level. Therefore, the said member is loaded into memory by the JVM once for that class (when the class is loaded). That is, there aren't n instances of a static member loaded for n instances of the class to which it belongs.
The most simple way of doing this is to use an ArrayList<Integer>
and use the add(int, T)
method.
List<Integer> list = new ArrayList<Integer>();
list.add(1);
list.add(2);
list.add(3);
list.add(4);
list.add(5);
list.add(6);
// Now, we will insert the number
list.add(4, 87);
For my needs I define static
array, instead of impossible const
and it works:
public static string[] Titles = { "German", "Spanish", "Corrects", "Wrongs" };
Ok, so this is what I have done:
$(document).on('change','#birthday',function(){
if($('#birthday').val()!==''){
$('#birthday').addClass('hasValue');
}else{
$('#birthday').removeClass('hasValue');
}
})
This is to remove the placeholder when a value is given.
input[type="date"]:before {
content: attr(placeholder) !important;
color: #5C5C5C;
margin-right: 0.5em;
}
input[type="date"]:focus:before,
input[type="date"].hasValue:before {
content: "" !important;
margin-right: 0;
}
On focus or if .hasValue, remove the placeholder and its margin.
Windows doesn't ignore anything. This is an issue with your setup; Windows just uses what you provide. It has no special knowledge of JAVA_HOME
.
CLASSPATH
has nothing to do with Windows, either. To Windows it's only an environmental variable that gets expanded to a folder location.
Check your %PATH%
environmental variable. It's what's making Windows find one before the other. The path (as the post you linked to said) should point to %JAVA_HOME%\bin;<remainder of path>
. Again, the post you linked to gave you a way to set this using a batch file.
(For others who might not know this: The easiest way to inspect the %PATH% is to open a command prompt and type echo %PATH%
. You can also get there by right-clicking on Computer
in the right pane of the Start Menu and choosing Properties
, then Advanced System Settings
, and the tne Environmental Variables
button.)
On Windows, the default settings are as follow (I never installed Monaco nor Menlo)
{
"editor.fontFamily": "Consolas",
"editor.fontSize": 14,
"editor.lineHeight": 19
}
Settings fontSize to 12 and lineHeight to 16 closely approximate Visual Studio set to Consolas with 10pt size. I could not get an exact match (VS Code font is slightly bolder) but close enough.
I would do it like this:
Worksheets("EmployeeCosts").Range("B" & var1a).Formula = _
Replace("=SUM(H5:H{SOME_VAR})","{SOME_VAR}",var1a)
In case you have some more complex formula it will be handy
Using newer C# features, namely out var
, you can get rid of the static factory-method.
I just found out (by accident) that out var parameter of methods called inse base-"call" flow to the constructor body.
Example, using this base class you want to derive from:
public abstract class BaseClass
{
protected BaseClass(int a, int b, int c)
{
}
}
The non-compiling pseudo code you want to execute:
public class DerivedClass : BaseClass
{
private readonly object fatData;
public DerivedClass(int m)
{
var fd = new { A = 1 * m, B = 2 * m, C = 3 * m };
base(fd.A, fd.B, fd.C); // base-constructor call
this.fatData = fd;
}
}
And the solution by using a static private helper method which produces all required base arguments (plus additional data if needed) and without using a static factory method, just plain constructor to the outside:
public class DerivedClass : BaseClass
{
private readonly object fatData;
public DerivedClass(int m)
: base(PrepareBaseParameters(m, out var b, out var c, out var fatData), b, c)
{
this.fatData = fatData;
Console.WriteLine(new { b, c, fatData }.ToString());
}
private static int PrepareBaseParameters(int m, out int b, out int c, out object fatData)
{
var fd = new { A = 1 * m, B = 2 * m, C = 3 * m };
(b, c, fatData) = (fd.B, fd.C, fd); // Tuples not required but nice to use
return fd.A;
}
}
use Illuminate\Database\Eloquent\Builder;
$query = Customers::with('orders');
$query = $query->whereHas('orders', function (Builder $query) use ($request) {
$query = $query->where('orders.customer_id', 'NULL')
});
$query = $query->get();
None of these answers worked for me, when all I had was a list of directories. Then I stumbled upon the solution! You have to add -r
to --files-from
because -a
will not be recursive in this scenario (who knew?!).
rsync -aruRP --files-from=directory.list . ../new/location
From Effective Go:
Constants in Go are just that—constant. They are created at compile time, even when defined as locals in functions, and can only be numbers, characters (runes), strings or booleans. Because of the compile-time restriction, the expressions that define them must be constant expressions, evaluatable by the compiler. For instance,
1<<3
is a constant expression, whilemath.Sin(math.Pi/4)
is not because the function call tomath.Sin
needs to happen at run time.
Slices and arrays are always evaluated during runtime:
var TestSlice = []float32 {.03, .02}
var TestArray = [2]float32 {.03, .02}
var TestArray2 = [...]float32 {.03, .02}
[...]
tells the compiler to figure out the length of the array itself. Slices wrap arrays and are easier to work with in most cases. Instead of using constants, just make the variables unaccessible to other packages by using a lower case first letter:
var ThisIsPublic = [2]float32 {.03, .02}
var thisIsPrivate = [2]float32 {.03, .02}
thisIsPrivate
is available only in the package it is defined. If you need read access from outside, you can write a simple getter function (see Getters in golang).
You could start by using git merge --no-commit
, and then edit the merge however you like i.e. by unstaging config.xml
or any other file, then commit. I suspect you'd want to automate it further after that using hooks, but I think it'd be worth going through manually at least once.
Here's a one-line solution with mapfile:
$ mapfile -d $'\0' -t arr < <(printf '%s\0' "${arr[@]}" | grep -Pzv "<regexp>")
Example:
$ arr=("Adam" "Bob" "Claire"$'\n'"Smith" "David" "Eve" "Fred")
$ echo "Size: ${#arr[*]} Contents: ${arr[*]}"
Size: 6 Contents: Adam Bob Claire
Smith David Eve Fred
$ mapfile -d $'\0' -t arr < <(printf '%s\0' "${arr[@]}" | grep -Pzv "^Claire\nSmith$")
$ echo "Size: ${#arr[*]} Contents: ${arr[*]}"
Size: 5 Contents: Adam Bob David Eve Fred
This method allows for great flexibility by modifying/exchanging the grep command and doesn't leave any empty strings in the array.
In CSS, for the font-weight
property, the value: normal
defaults to the numeric value 400, and bold
to 700.
If you want to specify other weights, you need to give the number value. That number value needs to be supported for the font family that you are using.
For example you would define semi-bold like this:
font-weight: 600;
Here an JSFiddle using 'Open Sans' font family, loaded with the above weights.
For big file use the following code (you are less memory hungry)
Parallel.ForEach(File.ReadLines(txtProxyListPath.Text), line => {
//Your stuff
});
For a .xlsm
or .dotm
file type you need to do it a slightly different way.
.xlsm
file to .zip
.vbaProject.bin
file and open it in a Hex Editor (I use HxD, its completely free and lightweight.)DPB
and replace with DPx
and save the file.vbaProject.bin
file with this new on in the zipped file..xlsm
..xlsm
file.Based on suggestions from @jaimedash and @Old_Mortality I found a solution:
DF$Den <- ifelse(DF$Denial1 < 1 & !is.na(DF$Denial1) | DF$Denial2 < 1 &
!is.na(DF$Denial2) | DF$Denial3 < 1 & !is.na(DF$Denial3), "0", "1")
Then to ensure a value of NA if all values of the conditional variables are NA:
DF$Den <- ifelse(is.na(DF$Denial1) & is.na(DF$Denial2) & is.na(DF$Denial3),
NA, DF$Den)

If you are working in some IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans, you should have that a.txt
file in the root directory of your project. (and not in the folder where your .class
files are built or anywhere else)
If not, you should specify the absolute path to that file.
Edit:
You would put the .txt
file in the same place with the .class
(usually also the .java
file because you compile in the same folder) compiled files if you compile it by hand with javac
. This is because it uses the relative path and the path tells the JVM the path where the executable file is located.
If you use some IDE, it will generate the compiled files for you using a Makefile or something similar for Windows and will consider it's default file structure, so he knows that the relative path begins from the root folder of the project.
In my case, @
caused some sort of encoding problem, I still prefer my old way:
curl -d "$(cat /path/to/file)" https://example.com
request.getSession(true)
and request.getSession()
both do the same thing, but if we use
request.getSession(false)
it will return null
if session object not created yet.
If you wish to create a new schema in XE, you need to create an USER and assign its privileges. Follow these steps:
SQL> connect sys as sysdba
SQL> CREATE USER myschema IDENTIFIED BY Hga&dshja;
SQL> ALTER USER myschema QUOTA unlimited ON SYSTEM;
SQL> GRANT CREATE SESSION, CONNECT, RESOURCE, DBA TO myschema;
SQL> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES TO myschema;
Now you can connect via Oracle SQL Developer and create your tables.
