It sounds like what you want is a User who has many Questions.
The Question has many Answers, one of which is the User's Choice.

Similar behavior exists when module attribute names begin with a single underscore (e.g. _foo).

Module attributes named as such will not be copied into an importing module when using the from* method, e.g.:

However, this is a convention and not a language constraint. These are not private attributes; they can be referenced and manipulated by any importer. Some argue that because of this, Python can not implement true encapsulation.

The trick to triggering an asynchronous stylesheet download is to use a <link> element and set an invalid value for the media attribute (I'm using media="none", but any value will do). When a media query evaluates to false, the browser will still download the stylesheet, but it won't wait for the content to be available before rendering the page.

This forces ebx to be used for the calculation, meaning it needs to be pushed to the stack and restored at the end of the function because it is callee saved. register produces more lines of code and 1 memory write and 1 memory read (although realistically, this could have been optimised to 0 R/Ws if the calculation had been done in esi, which is what happens using C++'s const register). Not using register causes 2 writes and 1 read (although store to load forwarding will occur on the read). This is because the value has to be present and updated directly on the stack so the correct value can be read by address (pointer). register doesn't have this requirement and cannot be pointed to. const and register are basically the opposite of volatile and using volatile will override the const optimisations at file and block scope and the register optimisations at block-scope. const register and register will produce identical outputs because const does nothing on C at block-scope, so only the register optimisations apply.

On clang, register is ignored but const optimisations still occur.

To answer your question, Hibernate is an implementation of the JPA standard. Hibernate has its own quirks of operation, but as per the Hibernate docs

By default, Hibernate uses lazy select fetching for collections and lazy proxy fetching for single-valued associations. These defaults make sense for most associations in the majority of applications.

So Hibernate will always load any object using a lazy fetching strategy, no matter what type of relationship you have declared. It will use a lazy proxy (which should be uninitialized but not null) for a single object in a one-to-one or many-to-one relationship, and a null collection that it will hydrate with values when you attempt to access it.

It should be understood that Hibernate will only attempt to fill these objects with values when you attempt to access the object, unless you specify fetchType.EAGER.

There is a Rails inbuilt method called 'underscore' that you can use for this purpose

The 'underscore' method can typically be considered as inverse of 'camelize'

If you have GNU find, then there are a legion of relevant options. The only snag is that the interface to them is less than stellar:

• -mmin n (modification time in minutes)
• -mtime n (modification time in days)
• -newer file (modification time newer than modification time of file)
• -daystart (adjust start time from current time to start of day)
• Plus alternatives for access time and 'change' or 'create' time.

The hard part is determining the number of minutes since a time.

One option worth considering: use touch to create a file with the required modification time stamp; then use find with -newer.

This looks for files newer than 2009-01-03T12:31:43. Clearly, in a script, /tmp/wotsit would be a name with the PID or other value to make it unique; and there'd be a trap to ensure it gets removed even if the user interrupts, and so on and so forth.

You can show whatever you want in list display by using a callable. It would look like this:

NeoBunch

It has though a great feature converting your dict to a NeoBunch object through its neobunchify function. I use Mako templates a lot and passing data as NeoBunch objects makes them far more readable, so if you happen to end up using a normal dict in your Python program but want the dot notation in a Mako template you can use it that way:

It is a bit confusing, unless you really pay attention to the details, as to when to use it and what its actual purpose is.

It has NOTHING to do with XML or JSON serialization.

Used with the SerializableAttribute are the ISerializable Interface and SerializationInfo Class. These are also only used with the BinaryFormatter or SoapFormatter.

Unless you intend to serialize your class using Binary or Soap, do not bother marking your class as [Serializable]. XML and JSON serializers are not even aware of its existence.

After reading all the answers here - how to summarize grouped information, i decided to skip it all and just loaded one of the SQL javascript libraries. I'm using alasql, yeah it takes a few secs longer on load time but saves countless time in coding and debugging, Now to group and sum() I just use,

This is a commonly discussed topic. The drawback of creating public fields in objects is that you have no control over the values that are set to it. In group projects where there are many programmers using the same code, it's important to avoid side effects. Besides, sometimes it's better to return a copy of field's object or transform it somehow etc. You can mock such methods in your tests. If you create a new class you might not see all possible actions. It's like defensive programming - someday getters and setters may be helpful, and it doesn't cost a lot to create/use them. So they are sometimes useful.

In practice, most fields have simple getters and setters. A possible solution would look like this:

Something that may get missed: in my chaining project, it turns out a space separated list also needs a space separated semicolon at the end.

If it is inline, the browser should attempt to render it within the browser window. If it cannot, it will resort to an external program, prompting the user.

With attachment, it will immediately go to the user, and not try to load it in the browser, whether it can or not.

On some databases (notably Oracle) the order of the joins can make a huge difference to query performance (if there are more than two tables). On one application, we had literally two orders of magnitude difference in some cases. Using the inner join syntax gives you control over this - if you use the right hints syntax.

The auto-indent is based on the current syntax mode. I know that if you are editing Foo.java, then entering a { and hitting Enter indents the following line.

As for tabs, there are two settings. Within Vim, type a colon and then "set tabstop=4" which will set the tabs to display as four spaces. Hit colon again and type "set expandtab" which will insert spaces for tabs.

You can put these settings in a .vimrc (or _vimrc on Windows) in your home directory, so you only have to type them once.

This is what I use to control headers/caching, I'm not an Apache pro, so let me know if there is room for improvement, but I know that this has been working well on all of my sites for some time now.

You mention you are using Pandas (in your title). If so, there is no need to use an external library, you can just use to_datetime

This will always return today's date at midnight, irrespective of the actual time, and can be directly used in pandas to do comparisons etc. Pandas always includes 00:00:00 in its datetimes.

Replacing today with now would give you the date in UTC instead of local time; note that in neither case is the tzinfo (timezone) added.

In pandas versions prior to 0.23.x, normalize may not have been necessary to remove the non-midnight timestamp.

I tried using the popular Jason Wilder reverse proxy that code-magically works for everyone, and learned that it doesn't work for everyone (ie: me). And I'm brand new to NGINX, and didn't like that I didn't understand the technologies I was trying to use.

Wanted to add my 2 cents, because the discussion above around linking containers together is now dated since it is a deprecated feature. So here's an explanation on how to do it using networks. This answer is a full example of setting up nginx as a reverse proxy to a statically paged website using Docker Compose and nginx configuration.

TL;DR;

Define the Network

First of all, we need a network upon which all your backend services can talk on. I called mine web but it can be whatever you want.

We'll just do a simple website app. The website is a simple index.html page being served by an nginx container. The content is a mounted volume to the host under a folder content

Set up Virtual Host

Last detail is to set up the virtual hosting file so the proxy can direct traffic based on however you want to set up your matching:

Based on how the proxy was set up, you'll need this file stored under your local conf.d folder which we mounted via the volumes declaration in the docker-compose file.

These sequence of steps is the culmination of hours of pounding head-aches as I struggled with the ever painful 502 Bad Gateway error, and learning nginx for the first time, since most of my experience was with Apache.

This answer is to demonstrate how to kill the 502 Bad Gateway error that results from containers not being able to talk to one another.

I hope this answer saves someone out there hours of pain, since getting containers to talk to each other was really hard to figure out for some reason, despite it being what I expected to be an obvious use-case. But then again, me dumb. And please let me know how I can improve this approach.

In my case, I had a OneToOne relation which I was using with @Column by mistake. I changed it to @JoinColumn and added @OneToOne annotation and it fixed the exception.

I have just solved a similar issue relating to the error "previous operation has not finished" with help from this (Link)

It seems that svn sometimes gets stuck while processing commands/operations. All of these operations are stored in the database file wc.db in the .svn folder.

By downloading SQLite to my checkout directory and running

sqlite3.exe .svn/wc.db "select * from work_queue"

you can get a list of all pending operations. These operations are the ones the error is referring to as "not finished".

By running

sqlite3.exe .svn/wc.db "delete from work_queue"

all of the old operations are deleted from the work queue and the error disapears. No need for a new checkout or anything

The term polymorphism comes from:

poly = many

morphism = the ability to change

In programming, polymorphism is a "technique" that lets you "look" at an object as being more than one type of thing. For instance:

A student object is also a person object. If you "look" (ie cast) at the student, you can probably ask for the student ID. You can't always do that with a person, right? (a person is not necessarily a student, thus might not have a student ID). However, a person probably has a name. A student does too.

Bottom line, "looking" at the same object from different "angles" can give you different "perspectives" (ie different properties or methods)

A character in Java is a Unicode code-unit which is treated as an unsigned number. So if you perform c = (char)b the value you get is 2^16 - 56 or 65536 - 56.

Or more precisely, the byte is first converted to a signed integer with the value 0xFFFFFFC8 using sign extension in a widening conversion. This in turn is then narrowed down to 0xFFC8 when casting to a char, which translates to the positive number 65480.

Above is a direct explanation of what happens during conversion between the byte, int and char primitive types.

If you want to encode/decode characters from bytes, use Charset, CharsetEncoder, CharsetDecoder or one of the convenience methods such as new String(byte[] bytes, Charset charset) or String#toBytes(Charset charset). You can get the character set (such as UTF-8 or Windows-1252) from StandardCharsets.

Environment variables may also provide a useful means -- COMPUTERNAME on Windows, HOSTNAME on most modern Unix/Linux shells.

For Visual Studio 2019 it wasn't working by signing out/ signing in, etc. as mention in other solutions. What simply worked was performing the operation from new branches window/section. i.e,

(in VS 2019 new Git interface, I usually push/pull/fetch from the small arrows as shown in first screenshot. But sometime they throw error (mentioned in question) and do not allow pushing/pulling. What then what worked was the solution I mentioned above. May be it's a bug or something, but this solution saves you from resetting user data, and mess of signing out/in from multiple accounts, etc.)

{{ request.get_host }} should protect against HTTP Host header attacks when used together with the ALLOWED_HOSTS setting (added in Django 1.4.4).

Note that {{ request.META.HTTP_HOST }} does not have the same protection. See the docs:

A list of strings representing the host/domain names that this Django site can serve. This is a security measure to prevent HTTP Host header attacks, which are possible even under many seemingly-safe web server configurations.

... If the Host header (or X-Forwarded-Host if USE_X_FORWARDED_HOST is enabled) does not match any value in this list, the django.http.HttpRequest.get_host() method will raise SuspiciousOperation.

... This validation only applies via get_host(); if your code accesses the Host header directly from request.META you are bypassing this security protection.

As for using the request in your template, the template-rendering function calls have changed in Django 1.8, so you no longer have to handle RequestContext directly.

The parent function needs the virtual keyword, and the child function needs the override keyword in front of the function definition.

You don't define the vector, url, before trying to subset it. url is also a function in the base package, so url[i] is attempting to subset that function... which doesn't make sense.

You probably defined url in your prior R session, but forgot to copy that code to your script.

Android ID

In O, Android ID (Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID or SSAID) has a different value for each app and each user on the device. doesn't read only the characters before the linefeed ('\n'). It reads all the characters in the stream (and discards them) up to and including the next linefeed (or EOF is encountered). For the test to be true, it has to read the linefeed first; so when the loop stops, the linefeed was the last character read, but it has been read.

As for why it reads a linefeed instead of a carriage return, that's because the system has translated the return to a linefeed. When enter is pressed, that signals the end of the line... but the stream contains a line feed instead since that's the normal end-of-line marker for the system. That might be platform dependent.

Also, using fflush() on an input stream doesn't work on all platforms; for example it doesn't generally work on Linux.

Modules are a new means of including and linking files and libraries into your projects. To understand how modules work and what benefits they have, it is important to look back into the history of Objective-C and the #import statement Whenever you want to include a file for use, you will generally have some code that looks like this:

#import "someFile.h"

Or in the case of frameworks:

#import <SomeLibrary/SomeFile.h>

Because Objective-C is a superset of the C programming language, the #import state- ment is a minor refinement upon C’s #include statement. The #include statement is very simple; it copies everything it finds in the included file into your code during compilation. This can sometimes cause significant problems. For example, imagine you have two header files: SomeFileA.h and SomeFileB.h; SomeFileA.h includes SomeFileB.h, and SomeFileB.h includes SomeFileA.h. This creates a loop, and can confuse the coimpiler. To deal with this, C programmers have to write guards against this type of event from occurring.

When using #import, you don’t need to worry about this issue or write header guards to avoid it. However, #import is still just a glorified copy-and-paste action, causing slow compilation time among a host of other smaller but still very dangerous issues (such as an included file overriding something you have declared elsewhere in your own code.)

Modules are an attempt to get around this. They are no longer a copy-and-paste into source code, but a serialised representation of the included files that can be imported into your source code only when and where they’re needed. By using modules, code will generally compile faster, and be safer than using either #include or #import.

Returning to the previous example of importing a framework:

To import this library as a module, the code would be changed to:

This has the added bonus of Xcode linking the SomeLibrary framework into the project automatically. Modules also allow you to only include the components you really need into your project. For example, if you want to use the AwesomeObject component in the AwesomeLibrary framework, normally you would have to import everything just to use the one piece. However, using modules, you can just import the specific object you want to use:

For all new projects made in Xcode 5, modules are enabled by default. If you want to use modules in older projects (and you really should) they will have to be enabled in the project’s build settings. Once you do that, you can use both #import and @import statements in your code together without any concern.

It means that, for example, some of your lines of text with a <Carriage Return><Linefeed> (the Windows standard), and some end with just a <Linefeed> (the Unix standard).

If you click 'yes' these the end-of-lines in your source file will be converted to have all the same format.

This won't make any difference to the compiler (because end-of-lines count as mere whitespace), but it might make some difference to other tools (e.g. the 'diff' on your version control system).

Perhaps a good idea is to use jQuery in this case. It provides handy functionality and you can do things like this:

The easiest way to validate the connection is to tell Oracle that the connection must be validated while borrowing it. This can be done with

Off course you can use different cookie names etc. also you can change the content of the cookie a bit, just make sure it isn't to easily created. You can for example also create a user_salt when the user is created and also put that in the cookie.

Also you could use sha1 instead of md5 (or pretty much any algorithm)

A pointer-to-a-pointer is used when a reference to a pointer is required. For example, when you wish to modify the value (address pointed to) of a pointer variable declared in a calling function's scope inside a called function.

If you pass a single pointer in as an argument, you will be modifying local copies of the pointer, not the original pointer in the calling scope. With a pointer to a pointer, you modify the latter.

Closing a SpringApplication basically means closing the underlying ApplicationContext. The SpringApplication#run(String...) method gives you that ApplicationContext as a ConfigurableApplicationContext. You can then close() it yourself.

You can't easily decrypt the password from the hash string that you see. You should rather replace the hash string with a new one from a password that you do know.

The main problem for me is that I don't know what encoding the source of any string is going to be - it could be from a text box (using is only useful if the user is actually submitted the form), or it could be from an uploaded text file, so I really have no control over the input.

I don't think it's a problem. An application knows the source of the input. If it's from a form, use UTF-8 encoding in your case. That works. Just verify the data provided is correctly encoded (validation). Keep in mind that not all databases support UTF-8 in it's full range.

If it's a file you won't save it UTF-8 encoded into the database but in binary form. When you output the file again, use binary output as well, then this is totally transparent.

Your idea is nice that a user can tell the encoding, be he/she can tell anyway after downloading the file, as it's binary.

So I must admit I don't see a specific issue you raise with your question. But maybe you can add some more details what your problem is.

My activity calls finish() (which doesn't make it finish immediately, but will do eventually) and calls Google Street Viewer. When I debug it on Eclipse, my connection to the app breaks when Street Viewer is called, which I understand as the (whole) application being closed, supposedly to free up memory (as a single activity being finished shouldn't cause this behavior). Nevertheless, I'm able to save state in a Bundle via onSaveInstanceState() and restore it in the onCreate() method of the next activity in the stack. Either by using a static singleton or subclassing Application I face the application closing and losing state (unless I save it in a Bundle). So from my experience they are the same with regards to state preservation. I noticed that the connection is lost in Android 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 but not on 4.0.7 or 3.2.4, which in my understanding suggests that the memory recovery mechanism has changed at some point.

This is nice but doesn't answer the question:

"A VARCHAR should always be used instead of TINYTEXT." Tinytext is useful if you have wide rows - since the data is stored off the record. There is a performance overhead, but it does have a use.

In my workflow, I add a Dockerfile for each part of my system and configure it that each part could run individually. Then I add a docker-compose.yml to bring them together and link them.

Biggest advantage (in my opinion): when linking the containers, you can define a name and ping your containers with this name. Therefore your database might be accessible with the name db and no longer by its IP.

You should try to maintain a proper aspect ratio between the sizes you're scaling from and to. For example, if your target size is 28px, then your source size should be a power of that, such as 56 (28 x 2) or 112 (28 x 4). This ensures you can scale by 50% or 25% rather than the 0.233333% you're currently using.

I ran into a similar problem using the maven-shade-plugin. I found the solution to my problems in their example page above.

you can start with this tool, https://themestr.app/theme , seeing how it overwrites the scss variables, you would get an idea what variable impacts what. its the simplest way I think.

They come from the Enumerable module, so anything that includes Enumerable will have those methods available.

v2.4 introduces own Array#min and Array#max, which are way faster than Enumerable's methods because they skip calling #each.

@nicholasklick mentions another option, Enumerable#minmax, but this time returning an array of [min, max].

Indexing a list is done using double bracket, i.e. hypo_list[[1]] (e.g. have a look here: http://www.r-tutor.com/r-introduction/list). BTW: read.table does not return a table but a dataframe (see value section in ?read.table). So you will have a list of dataframes, rather than a list of table objects. The principal mechanism is identical for tables and dataframes though.

Note: In R, the index for the first entry is a 1 (not 0 like in some other languages).

As Andrew said, your text should be doing just that.

There is one instance that I can think of that will behave in the manner you suggest, and that is if you have the whitespace property set.

See if you don't have the following in your CSS somewhere:

white-space: nowrap

That will cause text to continue on the same line until interrupted by a line break.

The overflow-x property is what's causing the scroll bar to appear. Remove that and the div will adjust to as high as it needs to be to contain all your text.

This idea reduces PyGC_Head size to two words.

Currently, PyGC_Head takes three words; gc_prev, gc_next, and gc_refcnt.

• gc_refcnt is used when collecting, for trial deletion.
• gc_prev is used for tracking and untracking.

So if we can avoid tracking/untracking while trial deletion, gc_prev and gc_refcnt can share same memory space.

All GC tracked objects (e.g. tuple, list, dict) size is reduced 4 or 8 bytes.

A simple but not efficient way is to read the whole content, change it and then rewrite it:

They make changes to the code. they get it to a point where they say it is ok and we merge again. When examined, we find that code changes made before the revert are not in the master branch, but code changes after are in the master branch. and asked for help recovering from this situation.

The history immediately after the "revert of the merge" would look like this:

Such a "revert" of a merge can be made with:

Linus explains the situation:

Reverting a regular commit just effectively undoes what that commit did, and is fairly straightforward. But reverting a merge commit also undoes the data that the commit changed, but it does absolutely nothing to the effects on history that the merge had. So the merge will still exist, and it will still be seen as joining the two branches together, and future merges will see that merge as the last shared state - and the revert that reverted the merge brought in will not affect that at all. So a "revert" undoes the data changes, but it's very much not an "undo" in the sense that it doesn't undo the effects of a commit on the repository history. So if you think of "revert" as "undo", then you're going to always miss this part of reverts. Yes, it undoes the data, but no, it doesn't undo history. In such a situation, you would want to first revert the previous revert, which would make the history look like this:

Of course the changes made in C and D still can conflict with what was done by any of the x, but that is just a normal merge conflict.

There are 3 (at least) parts to this.

Part 1: As everyone else suggested...Ensure the folder and containing files are not read only. You will read about a phantom bug in windows where you remove read only from folders and containing items, only to open the properties again and see it still clicked. This is not a bug. Honestly, its a feature. You see back in the early days. The System and Read Only attributes had specific meanings. Now that windows has evolved and uses a different file system these attributes no longer make sense on folders. So they have been "repurposed" as a marker for the OS to identify folders that have special meaning or customisations (and as such contain the desktop.ini file). Folders such as those containing fonts or special icons and customisations etc. So even though this attribute is still turned on, it doesn't affect the files within them. So it can be ignored once you have turned it off the first time.

Part 2: Again, as others have suggested, right click the database, and properties, find options, ensure that the read only property is set to false. You generally wont be able to change this manually anyway unless you are lucky. But before you go searching for magic commands (sql or powershell), take a look at part 3.

Part 3: Check the permissions on the folder. Ensure your SQL Server user has full access to it. In most cases this user for a default installation is either MSSQLSERVER or MSSQLEXPRESS with "NT Service" prefixed. You'll find them in the security\logins section of the database. Open the properties of the folder, go to the security tab, and add that user to the list.

In all 3 cases you may (or may not) have to detach and reattach to see the read only status removed.

If I find a situation where these 3 solutions don't work for me, and I find another alternative, I will add it here in time. Hope this helps.

As used here, Offset causes the first row after the AutoFilter range to also be deleted. In order to avoid that, I would try using .Resize() after .Offset().

For a different approach, I would suggest using the XeTeX or LuaTex system. They allow you to access system fonts (TrueType, OpenType, etc) and set font features. In a typical LaTeX document, you just need to include this in your headers:

Noticed mine worked on chrome. Got it to work in Firefox by going to <about:config> and setting full-screen-api.allow-trusted-requests-only to false.

After full screen worked once, I could set that back to true, and full screen still worked which was quite perplexing.

Is this a commercial application or some hobbyist / open source software?

I'm asking this because in my experience, all free .NET Excel handling alternatives have serious problems, for different reasons. For hobbyist things, I usually end up porting jExcelApi from Java to C# and using it.

But if this is a commercial application, you would be better off by purchasing a third party library, like Aspose.Cells. Believe me, it totally worths it as it saves a lot of time and time ain't free.

Spring MVC is a sub-project of the Spring Framework, targeting design and development of applications that use the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern. Spring MVC is designed to integrate fully and completely with the Spring Framework and transitively, most other sub-projects.

Spring Boot can be understood quite well from this article by the Spring Engineering team. Since Chrome 32 you have the CSS media option in the Screen section of the drawer Emulation tab.

Just enable it, select print as the target media type, and - behold - your page is rendered [almost] the way it will be printed.

My problem was solved after turning Off Windows Firewall Defender in public network as I was connected with that network.

This answer is going to briefly explain how the native files are handled on the latest launcher.

As of 4/29/2017 the Minecraft launcher for Windows extracts all native files and places them info %APPDATA%\Local\Temp{random folder}. That folder is temporary and is deleted once the javaw.exe process finishes (when Minecraft is closed). The location of that temporary folder must be provided in the launch arguments as the value of

-Djava.library.path=

Also, the latest launcher (2.0.847) does not show you the launch arguments so if you need to check them yourself you can do so under the Task Manager (simply enable the Command Line tab and expand it) or by using the WMIC utility as explained here.

Hope this helps some people who are still interested in doing this in 2017.

The HTTP 502 "Bad Gateway" response is generated when Apache web server does not receive a valid HTTP response from the upstream server, which in this case is your Tomcat web application.

Some reasons why this might happen:

• Tomcat may have crashed
• The web application did not respond in time and the request from Apache timed out
• The Tomcat threads are timing out
• A network device is blocking the request, perhaps as some sort of connection timeout or DoS attack prevention system

If the problem is related to timeout settings, you may be able to resolve it by investigating the following:

• ProxyTimeout directive of Apache's mod_proxy
• Connector config of Apache Tomcat
• Your network device's manual

If you own the HTML code then it might be wise to assign an id to this href. Then your code would look like this:

You should really check the log. It seems that quite a few components can cause the Windows SDK installer to fail to install with this useless error message. For instance it could be the Visual C++ Redistributable Package as mentioned there.

Work with libraries. Make a library called nib, install it using setup.py, let it reside in site-packages and your problems are solved. You don't have to stuff everything you make in a single package. Break it up to pieces.

How you detect EOF depends on what you're using to read the stream:

Using fread():

Note that the form is the same for all of them: check the result of the read operation; if it failed, then check for EOF. You'll see a lot of examples like:

while(!feof(stream))
{
  fscanf(stream, "%s", buffer);
  ...
}

This form doesn't work the way people think it does, because feof() won't return true until after you've attempted to read past the end of the file. As a result, the loop executes one time too many, which may or may not cause you some grief.

1. Create a socket.
2. Perform ioctl(<socketfd>, SIOCGIFCONF, (struct ifconf)&buffer);

Read /usr/include/linux/if.h for information on the ifconf and ifreq structures. This should give you the IP address of each interface on the system. Also read /usr/include/linux/sockios.h for additional ioctls.

For large files, what I did was read the file line by line and read each line into an array. Then, once the array reached a certain size, append it to a new file.

We can simply do like this.

I've tested it using the following code:

Result - empty array for failures.

But of course you need to configure your app/config/mail.php properly. So first make sure you can send e-mail just to one user and then test your code with many users.

Moreover using this simple code none of my e-mails were delivered to free mail accounts, I got only emails to inboxes that I have on my paid hosting accounts, so probably they were caught by some filters (it's maybe simple topic/content issue but I mentioned it just in case you haven't received some of e-mails) .

According to the certification exam you should use Convert.ToXXX() whenever possible for simple conversions because it optimizes performance better than CXXX conversions.

You need a /g on there, like this:

You can play with it here, the default .replace() behavior is to replace only the first match, the /g modifier (global) tells it to replace all occurrences.

Assuming there is a column named business:

Why not create a WhateverFunctionResult object that contains your results, and the logic required to parse these results, iterate over then etc. It seems to me that either:

1. These results objects are intimately tied together/related and belong together, or:
2. they are unrelated, in which case your function isn't well defined in terms of what it's trying to do (i.e. doing two different things)

I see this sort of issue crop up again and again. Don't be afraid to create your own container/result classes that contain the data and the associated functionality to handle this. If you simply pass the stuff around in a HashMap or similar, then your clients have to pull this map apart and grok the contents each time they want to use the results.

Many implementations support +/- infinities, so the most negative double value is -INFINITY.

Now we need to also consider other cases:

• No infinities

Simply -DBL_MAX.

• Only an unsigned infinity.

I'd expect in this case, OP would prefer -DBL_MAX.

• De-normal values greater in magnitude than DBL_MAX.

This is an unusual case, likely outside OP's concern. When double is encoded as a pair of a floating points to achieve desired range/precession, (see double-double) there exist a maximum normal double and perhaps a greater de-normal one. I have seen debate if DBL_MAX should refer to the greatest normal, of the greatest of both.

Fortunately this paired approach usually includes an -infinity, so the most negative value remains -INFINITY.
