To switch off language try to remove its support by editing oracle.translated.locales option in ide.boot file (located in ide\bin folder).
For example, if I want to 'break' french language support this option will be:

The original value was:

oracle.translated.locales = de,fr,es,it,ja,ko,pt_BR,zh_CN,zh_TW

The configuration above (sqldeveloper.conf file) will be wrong after remove french support and the french language does not appear as GUI localization.

Update all your code that calls load function like,

This error message comes from jQuery.fn.load function.

I've come across the same issue on my application. After some digging, I found this statement in jQuery blog,

.load, .unload, and .error, deprecated since jQuery 1.8, are no more. Use .on() to register listeners.

I simply just change how my jQuery objects call the load function like above. And everything works as expected.

If all else fails, look for duplication. I was misdirected by the explicit initial reference to constructors and destructors until I read a reference in another post. It's any unresolved method. In my case, I thought I had replaced the declaration that used char *xml as the parameter with one using the unnecessarily troublesome const char *xml, but instead, I had created a new one and left the other one in place.

Even if WHERE textcolumn LIKE "%SUBSTRING%" is going to be slow, I think it is probably better to let the Database handle it rather than have PHP handle it. If it is possible to restrict searches by some other criteria (date range, user, etc) then you may find the substring search is OK (ish).

If you are searching for whole words, you could pull out all the individual words into a separate table and use that to restrict the substring search. (So when searching for "my search string" you look for the the longest word "search" only do the substring search on records containing the word "search")

Isn't this the normal way to free the memory associated with an object?

This is a common way of managing dynamically allocated memory, but it's not a good way to do so. This sort of code is brittle because it is not exception-safe: if an exception is thrown between when you create the object and when you delete it, you will leak that object.

It is far better to use a smart pointer container, which you can use to get scope-bound resource management (it's more commonly called resource acquisition is initialization, or RAII).

As an example of automatic resource management:

Depending on your use case, auto_ptr might not provide the semantics you need. In that case, you can consider using shared_ptr.

As for why your program crashes when you delete the object, you have not given sufficient code for anyone to be able to answer that question with any certainty.

I don't know if it was there when you had posted this question, but the best and easiest way to download a commit is to click on the commits tab when viewing a repository. Then instead of clicking on the commit name, click on Browse the repository at this point in the history button with <> symbol to the right side of the commit name/message, and finally on the Download ZIP button that comes when you click Clone or Download button.

One important point that is alluded to but not directly addressed is the difference between "precision" and "scale" and how they are used in the two statements. "precision" is the total number of significant digits in a number. "scale" is the number of digits to the right of the decimal point.

The MathContext constructor only accepts precision and RoundingMode as arguments, and therefore scale is never specified in the first statement.

setScale() obviously accepts scale as an argument, as well as RoundingMode, however precision is never specified in the second statement.

If you move the decimal point one place to the right, the difference will become clear:

Assuming that you added the Readme.md file through the interface provided by github, the readme is not yet in your local folder. Still no print no native print function, but outside the installing the suggested package, you can go the autohotkey way, as the that app can actually help you run macros for other stuff as well. So you can do something like create a macro that with one click does:

JavaScript is a scripting language and therefore stays in human readable form until it is time for it to be interpreted and executed by the JavaScript runtime.

The only way to partially hide it, at least from the less technical minds, is to obfuscate.

Obfuscation makes it harder for humans to read it, but not impossible for the technically savvy.

You are trying to call DeckOfCards::shuffle with a deckOfCards parameter:

MOD is remainder operator. That is why 2 mod 4 gives 2 as remainder. 4*0=0 and then 2-0=2. To make it more clear try to do same with 6 mod 4 or 8 mod 3.

As others have said:

connection.ConnectionTimeout is used for the initial connection

command.CommandTimeout is used for individual searches, updates, etc.

But:

connection.ConnectionTimeout is also used for committing and rolling back transactions.

Yes, this is an absolutely insane design decision.

So, if you are running into a timeout on commit or rollback you'll need to increase this value through the connection string.

Since JSF 2.3 all the bean scopes defined in package javax.faces.bean package have been deprecated to align the scopes with CDI. Moreover they're only applicable if your bean is using @ManagedBean annotation. If you are using JSF versions below 2.3 refer to the legacy answer at the end.

From JSF 2.3 here are scopes that can be used on JSF Backing Beans:

1. @javax.enterprise.context.ApplicationScoped: The application scope persists for the entire duration of the web application. That scope is shared among all requests and all sessions. This is useful when you have data for whole application.

2. @javax.enterprise.context.SessionScoped: The session scope persists from the time that a session is established until session termination. The session context is shared between all requests that occur in the same HTTP session. This is useful when you wont to save data for a specific client for a particular session.

3. @javax.enterprise.context.ConversationScoped: The conversation scope persists as log as the bean lives. The scope provides 2 methods: Conversation.begin() and Conversation.end(). These methods should called explicitly, either to start or end the life of a bean.

4. @javax.enterprise.context.RequestScoped: The request scope is short-lived. It starts when an HTTP request is submitted and ends after the response is sent back to the client. If you place a managed bean into request scope, a new instance is created with each request. It is worth considering request scope if you are concerned about the cost of session scope storage.

5. @javax.faces.flow.FlowScoped: The Flow scope persists as long as the Flow lives. A flow may be defined as a contained set of pages (or views) that define a unit of work. Flow scoped been is active as long as user navigates with in the Flow.

6. @javax.faces.view.ViewScoped: A bean in view scope persists while the same JSF page is redisplayed. As soon as the user navigates to a different page, the bean goes out of scope.

As of JSF 2.x there are 4 Bean Scopes:

All this tricks just look (more or less) as local functions, but they don't work like that. In a local function you can use local variables of it's super functions. It's kind of semi-globals. Non of these tricks can do that. The closest is the lambda trick from c++0x, but it's closure is bound in definition time, not the use time.

The code you have posted doesn't include a call to mysql_fetch_array(). However, what is most likely going wrong is that you are issuing a query that returns an error message, in which case the return value from the query function is false, and attempting to call mysql_fetch_array() on it doesn't work (because boolean false is not a mysql result object).

The other option is to tell EF to allow the column to be null:

You can use MD5() in mysql or md5() in php. To use salt add it to password before running md5, f.e.:

process is node's global object, and .cwd() returns where node is running.

__dirname is module's property, and represents the file path of the module. In node, one module resides in one file.

Each time you set the same seed, you get the same sequence. So of course if you're setting the seed to the time in a fast loop, you'll probably call it with the same seed many times.

In your case, as you're calling your randInt function until you have a different value, you're waiting for the time (as returned by Nano) to change.

As for all pseudo-random libraries, you have to set the seed only once, for example when initializing your program unless you specifically need to reproduce a given sequence (which is usually only done for debugging and unit testing).

After that you simply call Intn to get the next random integer.

Move the rand.Seed(time.Now().UTC().UnixNano()) line from the randInt function to the start of the main and everything will be faster.

Note also that I think you can simplify your string building:

You only use the M for a numeric literal, when you cast it's just:

Note that a floating point number is not suited to keep an exact value, so if you first add numbers together and then convert to Decimal you may get rounding errors. I had a similar issue where I had 3 consecutive fragments in the same Activity [M1.F0]->[M1.F1]->[M1.F2] followed by a call to a new Activity[M2]. If the user pressed a button in [M2] I wanted to return to [M1,F1] instead of [M1,F2] which is what back press behavior already did.

In order to accomplish this I remove [M1,F2], call show on [M1,F1], commit the transaction, and then add [M1,F2] back by calling it with hide. This removed the extra back press that would have otherwise been left behind.

Your problem is that, if the user clicks cancel, operationType is null and thus throws a NullPointerException. I would suggest that you move

You can get to the root from within each site using $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']. For testing ONLY you can echo out the path to make sure it's working, if you do it the right way. You NEVER want to show the local server paths for things like includes and requires.

When dealing with large streams, like a file sized over 4GB - you don't want to load the file into memory (as a Byte[]) because not only is it very slow, but also may cause a crash as even in 64-bit processes a Byte[] cannot exceed 2GB (or 4GB with gcAllowVeryLargeObjects).

Fortunately there's a neat helper in .NET called ToBase64Transform which processes a stream in chunks. For some reason Microsoft put it in System.Security.Cryptography and it implements ICryptoTransform (for use with CryptoStream), but disregard that ("a rose by any other name...") just because you aren't performing any cryprographic tasks.

You use it with CryptoStream like so:

Your solution is good, but fails in one specific case. If you give the TextBox focus by selecting a range of text instead of just clicking, the alreadyFocussed flag doesn't get set to true, so when you click in the TextBox a second time, all the text gets selected.

Here is my version of the solution. I've also put the code into a class which inherits TextBox, so the logic is nicely hidden away.

So I was running 300 PHP processes simulatenously and was getting a rate of between 60 - 90 per second (my process involves 3x queries). I upped it to 400 and this fell to about 40-50 per second. I dropped it to 200 and am back to between 60 and 90!

So my advice to anyone with this problem is experiment with running less than more and see if it improves. There will be less memory and CPU being used so the processes that do run will have greater ability and the speed may improve.

Actually, the standard shell is Bourne shell (sh). /bin/sh on Linux is actually bash, but if you're aiming for cross-platform scripts, you're better off sticking to features of the original Bourne shell or writing it in something like perl.

Just add this:

• e.stopImmediatePropagation() stops any further handler from being called for this event, no exceptions

What phase?

E.g. a click event will always first go all the way down the DOM (called “capture phase”), finally reach the origin of the event (“target phase”) and then bubble up again (“bubble phase”). And with addEventListener() you can register multiple handlers for both capture and bubble phase independently. (Target phase calls handlers of both types on the target without distinguishing.)

I would suggest using glob.iglob() instead of the glob.glob(), as it is more efficient.

glob.iglob() Return an iterator which yields the same values as glob() without actually storing them all simultaneously.

Which means glob.iglob() will be more efficient.

The classpath in this context is exactly what it is in the general context: anywhere the VM knows it can find classes to be loaded, and resources as well (such as output.vm in your case).

I'd understand Velocity expects to find a file named output.vm anywhere in "no package". This can be a JAR, regular folder, ... The root of any of the locations in the application's classpath.

FYI...my problem was that accidently selected "Local Service" as the Account on properties of the ProcessInstaller instead of "Local System". Just mentioning for anyone else who followed the MSDN tutorial as the Local Service selection shows first and I wasn't paying close attention....

Canvas does not using .png file as background image. changing to other file extensions like gif or jpg works fine.

Why would you use C++11?

1. Because you can produce strings that follow a certain probability distribution (or distribution combination) for the character set you're interested in.
2. Because it has built-in support for non-deterministic random numbers
3. Because it supports unicode, so you could change this to an internationalized version.

I have fixed this in my matplotlib source, but it's not a pretty fix. However, if you, like me, are very particular about how the graph looks, it's worth it.

The issue seems to be in the rendering backends; they each get the correct values for linewidth, font size, etc., but that comes out slightly larger when rendered as a PDF or PNG than when rendered with show().

I added a few lines to the source for PNG generation, in the file matplotlib/backends/backend_agg.py. You could make similar changes for each backend you use, or find a way to make a more clever change in a single location ;)

Update: After posting an issue to the matplotlib project at Github, I was able to track down the source of my problem: I had changed the figure.dpi setting in the matplotlibrc file. If that value is different than the default, my savefig() images come out different, even if I set the savefig dpi to be the same as the figure dpi. So, instead of changing the source as above, I just kept the figure.dpi setting as the default 80, and was able to generate images with savefig() that looked like images from show().

Leon, had you also changed that setting?

If your class performs all of its initialization in the constructor, then @PostConstruct is indeed redundant.

However, if your class has its dependencies injected using setter methods, then the class's constructor cannot fully initialize the object, and sometimes some initialization needs to be performed after all the setter methods have been called, hence the use case of @PostConstruct.

Without the question if it is proper or not, you can add PCH file manually:

1. Add new PCH file to the project: New file > Other > PCH file.

2. At the Target's Build Settings option, set the value of Prefix Header to your PCH file name, with the project name as prefix (i.e. for project named TestProject and PCH file named MyPrefixHeaderFile, add the value TestProject/MyPrefixHeaderFile.pch to the plist).

   TIP: You can use things like $(SRCROOT) or $(PROJECT_DIR) to get to the path of where you put the .pch in the project.

3. At the Target's Build Settings option, set the value of Precompile Prefix Header to YES.

This worked for me:

I wanted to use JavaScript to change a form's action, so I could have different submit inputs within the same form linking to different pages.

I also had the added complication of using Apache rewrite to change example.com/page-name into example.com/index.pl?page=page-name. I found that changing the form's action caused example.com/index.pl (with no page parameter) to be rendered, even though the expected URL (example.com/page-name) was displayed in the address bar.

To get around this, I used JavaScript to insert a hidden field to set the page parameter. I still changed the form's action, just so the address bar displayed the correct URL.

Clang supports the Address Sanitizer plugin (-faddress-sanitizer option), which can pretty much detect most bugs that Valgrind can find (does not support detection of uninitialised memory reads and memory leaks yet though). I did not see any reference to Raphael.js. So I thought I'd include it here. Raphael.js is backwards compatible all the way back to IE5 and a very early Firefox as well as all of the rest of the browsers. It uses SVG when it can and VML when it can not. What you do with it is to draw onto a canvas. Some browsers will even let you select the text that is generated. Raphael.js can be found here:

It can be as simple as creating your paper drawing area, specifying the font, font-weight, size, etc... and then telling it to put your string of text onto the paper. I am not sure if it gets around the licensing issues or not but it is drawing the text so I'm fairly certain it does circumvent the licensing issues. But check with your lawyer to be sure. :-)

The .parents() and .closest() methods are similar in that they both traverse up the DOM tree. The differences between the two, though subtle, are significant:

There are plenty of built in python modules that whould help with this. For example urllib and htmllib.

The problem will be simpler if you change the way you're approaching it. You say you want to "fill some forms, click submit button, send the data back to server, recieve the response", which sounds like a four stage process.

In fact, what you need to do is post some data to a webserver and get a response.

This is as simple as:

In my case we were casting a Date to a Datetime and we got this error. What happens is that Date has a "more programmer oriented" minimum of 01/01/0001, while Datetime is stuck at 1753

The text segment has Read+Exec permission, so casting string literals to function pointers works without needing mprotect() or VirtualProtect() system calls like you'd need for dynamically allocated memory. (Or gcc -z execstack links the program with stack + data segment + heap executable, as a quick hack.)

To disassemble these, you can compile this to put a label on the bytes, and use a disassembler.

This machine code will (probably) work in 32-bit code on Windows, Linux, OS X, and so on: the default calling conventions on all those OSes pass args on the stack instead of more efficiently in registers. But EBX is call-preserved in all the normal calling conventions, so using it as a scratch register without saving/restoring it can easily make the caller crash.

These solutions totally make sense. Unfortunately, neither worked for me as expected. Instead of trying to hassle with it, I went with a work around:

A BLOB type in MySQL can store up to 65,534 bytes, if you try to store more than this much data MySQL will truncate the data. MEDIUMBLOB can store up to 16,777,213 bytes, and LONGBLOB can store up to 4,294,967,292 bytes.

I encountered this problem when adding a project to a solution then referencing it from yet another project in the same solution-- got the yellow warning icon over the reference, notice that path was empty.

The solution was similar to what @Amzath suggested, my projects were being compiled with different Target Frameworks, eg. .NET 4.0 vs 4.5.

When the FragmentPagerAdapter adds a fragment to the FragmentManager, it uses a special tag based on the particular position that the fragment will be placed. FragmentPagerAdapter.getItem(int position) is only called when a fragment for that position does not exist. After rotating, Android will notice that it already created/saved a fragment for this particular position and so it simply tries to reconnect with it with FragmentManager.findFragmentByTag(), instead of creating a new one. All of this comes free when using the FragmentPagerAdapter and is why it is usual to have your fragment initialisation code inside the getItem(int) method.

Even if we were not using a FragmentPagerAdapter, it is not a good idea to create a new fragment every single time in Activity.onCreate(Bundle). As you have noticed, when a fragment is added to the FragmentManager, it will be recreated for you after rotating and there is no need to add it again. Doing so is a common cause of errors when working with fragments.

A usual approach when working with fragments is this:

When using a FragmentPagerAdapter, we relinquish fragment management to the adapter, and do not have to perform the above steps. By default, it will only preload one Fragment in front and behind the current position (although it does not destroy them unless you are using FragmentStatePagerAdapter). This is controlled by ViewPager.setOffscreenPageLimit(int). Because of this, directly calling methods on the fragments outside of the adapter is not guaranteed to be valid, because they may not even be alive.

To cut a long story short, your solution to use putFragment to be able to get a reference afterwards is not so crazy, and not so unlike the normal way to use fragments anyway (above). It is difficult to obtain a reference otherwise because the fragment is added by the adapter, and not you personally. Just make sure that the offscreenPageLimit is high enough to load your desired fragments at all times, since you rely on it being present. This bypasses lazy loading capabilities of the ViewPager, but seems to be what you desire for your application.

Another approach is to override FragmentPageAdapter.instantiateItem(View, int) and save a reference to the fragment returned from the super call before returning it (it has the logic to find the fragment, if already present).

For a fuller picture, have a look at some of the source of FragmentPagerAdapter (short) and ViewPager (long).

Since you are using a Mac, open a terminal, and

• cd /etc

Find the php.ini, and sudo open it, for example, using the nano editor

• nano php.ini

Find use control+w to search for "mysqli.default_socket", and change the line to

• mysqli.default_socket = /tmp/mysql.sock

Use control+x and then hit "y" and "return" to save the file. Restart Aapche if necessary.

Now you should be able to run mysqli.

No. If you could hide it, then you could use HTML/CSS to make something that looked like a common address bar. You could then put a different address in it. You could then trick people into thinking they were on a different site and entering their password for it.

You can do this with pure CSS but you will need to hard code the offset scroll amounts, which may not be ideal should you be changing page content- or should dimensions of your content change on say window resize.

You're likely best placed to use e.g. jQuery, specifically:
