Stumbled upon this thread a couple years later. In 2016, most Android devices will have API level >= 18 and should thus rely on Location.isFromMockProvider() as pointed out by Fernando.

I extensively experimented with fake/mock locations on different Android devices and distros. Unfortunately .isFromMockProvider() is not 100% reliable. Every once in a while, a fake location will not be labeled as mock. This seems to be due to some erroneous internal fusion logic in the Google Location API.

I wrote a detailed blog post about this, if you want to learn more. To summarize, if you subscribe to location updates from the Location API, then switch on a fake GPS app and print the result of each Location.toString() to the console, you will see something like this:

Notice how, in the stream of location updates, one location has the same coordinates as the others, but is not flagged as a mock and has a much poorer location accuracy.

To remedy this problem, I wrote a utility class that will reliably suppress Mock locations across all modern Android versions (API level 15 and up):

LocationAssistant - Hassle-free location updates on Android

Basically, it "distrusts" non-mock locations that are within 1km of the last known mock location and also labels them as a mock. It does this until a significant number of non-mock locations have arrived. The LocationAssistant can not only reject mock locations, but also unburdens you from most of the hassle of setting up and subscribing to location updates.

To receive only real location updates (i.e. suppress mocks), use it as follows:

onNewLocationAvailable() will now only be invoked with real location info. There are some more listener methods you need to implement, but in the context of your question (how to prevent GPS spoofing) this is basically it.

Of course, with a rooted OS you can still find ways of spoofing location info that are impossible for normal apps to detect.

The IServiceCollection interface is used for building a dependency injection container. After it's fully built, it gets composed to an IServiceProvider instance which you can use to resolve services. You can inject an IServiceProvider into any class. The IApplicationBuilder and HttpContext classes can provide the service provider as well, via their ApplicationServices or RequestServices properties respectively.

IServiceProvider defines a GetService(Type type) method to resolve a service:

The runtime's hosting service provider can inject certain services into the constructor of the Startup class, such as IConfiguration, IWebHostEnvironment (IHostingEnvironment in pre-3.0 versions), ILoggerFactory and IServiceProvider. Note that the latter is an instance built by the hosting layer and contains only the essential services for starting up an application.

The ConfigureServices() method does not allow injecting services, it only accepts an IServiceCollection argument. This makes sense because ConfigureServices() is where you register the services required by your application. However you can use services injected in the startup's constructor here, for example:

Manually resolving services (aka Service Locator) is generally considered an anti-pattern. While it has its use-cases (for frameworks and/or infrastructure layers), you should avoid it as much as possible.

printf and scanf function in C/C++ uses Microsoft C library and this library has no support for 10 byte long double. So when you are using printf and scanf function in your C/C++ code to print a long double as output and to take some input as a long double, it will always give you wrong result.

If you want to use long double then you have to use " __mingw_printf " and " __mingw_scanf " function instead of printf and scanf. It has support for 10 byte long double.

Or you can define two macro like this : " #define printf __mingw_printf " and " #define scanf __mingw_scanf "

Use standard format for long double : %Lf

Say you had some URL that gave you JSON data like:

{'field': 'value'}

...and you had a similar URL except it used JSONP, to which you passed the callback function name 'myCallback' (usually done by giving it a query parameter called 'callback', e.g. http://example.com/dataSource?callback=myCallback). Then it would return:

myCallback({'field':'value'})

...which is not just an object, but is actually code that can be executed. So if you define a function elsewhere in your page called myFunction and execute this script, it will be called with the data from the URL.

The cool thing about this is: you can create a script tag and use your URL (complete with callback parameter) as the src attribute, and the browser will run it. That means you can get around the 'same-origin' security policy (because browsers allow you to run script tags from sources other than the domain of the page).

This is what jQuery does when you make an ajax request (using .ajax with 'jsonp' as the value for the dataType property). E.g.

Edit: You have a date which is in a string format. To be able to format it nicelt, you first need to change it into a date itself - which is where strtotime comes in. It is a fantastic feature that converts almost any plausible expression of a date into a date itself. Then we can actually use the date() function to format the output into what you want.

There is no clean way to do this and like @Nick mentioned above it might just be easier to use the old school way of loops as then you can control this. But if you want to stick with what you got there is one way you could handle this. I'm sure I will get some heat for this one. But...

One way you could do what you want without an if statement is to raise an error and wrap your loop with a try/catch block:

I know move_uploaded_file has been mentioned, but file uploading in general is very dangerous. Just the presence of $_FILES should raise some concern.

It's quite possible to embed PHP code into any type of file. Images can be especially vulnerable with text comments. The problem is particularly troublesome if the code accepts the extension found within the $_FILES data as-is.

For example, a user could upload a valid PNG file with embedded PHP code as "foo.php". If the script is particularly naive, it may actually copy the file as "/uploads/foo.php". If the server is configured to allow script execution in user upload directories (often the case, and a terrible oversight), then you instantly can run any arbitrary PHP code. (Even if the image is saved as .png, it might be possible to get the code to execute via other security flaws.)

A (non-exhaustive) list of things to check on uploads:

• Make sure to analyze the contents to make sure the upload is the type it claims to be
• Save the file with a known, safe file extension that will not ever be executed
• Make sure PHP (and any other code execution) is disabled in user upload directories

Same problem with Chrome : I had in my html page the following code :

There is big difference between dot (".") and text() :-

• The dot (".") in XPath is called the "context item expression" because it refers to the context item. This could be match with a node (such as an element, attribute, or text node) or an atomic value (such as a string, number, or boolean). While text() refers to match only element text which is in string form.

• The dot (".") notation is the current node in the DOM. This is going to be an object of type Node while Using the XPath function text() to get the text for an element only gets the text up to the first inner element. If the text you are looking for is after the inner element you must use the current node to search for the string and not the XPath text() function.

This is similar to some of the above answers, but with this, you can specify if you want to remove rows with a percentage of missing values greater-than or equal-to a given percent (with the argument pct)

SELECT INTO is typically used to generate temp tables or to copy another table (data and/or structure).

In day to day code you use INSERT because your tables should already exist to be read, UPDATEd, DELETEd, JOINed etc. Note: the INTO keyword is optional with INSERT

That is, applications won't normally create and drop tables as part of normal operations unless it is a temporary table for some scope limited and specific usage.

A table created by SELECT INTO will have no keys or indexes or constraints unlike a real, persisted, already existing table

Personally I'd json_encode the array (taking into account any escaping etc needed) and bung the entire lot into an appropriately sized text/blob field.

It makes it very easy to store "unstructured" data but a real PITA to search/index on with any grace.

A simple json_decode will "explode" the data back into an array for you.

You need to make sure that the first numeral to the right of the decimal point is always displayed. In custom format strings, # means display the number if it exists, and 0 means always display something, with 0 as the placeholder.

So in your case you will need something like:

When you perform an DOM query through jQuery like $('class-name') it actively searched the DOM for that element and returns that element with all the jQuery prototype methods attached.

When you're within the jQuery chain or event you don't have to rerun the DOM query you can use the context $(this). Like so:

Another way that does the trick by using import/export wizard, first create an empty database, then choose the source which is your server with the source database, and then in the destination choose the same server with the destination database (using the empty database you created at first), then hit finish

A property is in the DOM; an attribute is in the HTML that is parsed into the DOM.

If you change an attribute, the change will be reflected in the DOM (sometimes with a different name).

Example: Changing the class attribute of a tag will change the className property of that tag in the DOM. If you have no attribute on a tag, you still have the corresponding DOM property with an empty or a default value.

Example: While your tag has no class attribute, the DOM property className does exist with a empty string value.

You're not assigning any id to the text view, but you're using tv.getId() to pass it to the addRule method as a parameter. Try to set a unique id via tv.setId(int).

The decrypt method proposed by openssl_decrypt() is close to openssl_encrypt().

The only difference is that instead of adding $message_to_encrypt, you will need to add your already encrypted message as the first argument of openssl_decrypt().

That is all you have to do.

Alternatively, you can just exclude the dependency that you don't want. STAX is included in JDK 1.6, so if you're using 1.6 you can just exclude it entirely.

My example below is slightly wrong for you - you only need one of the two exclusions but I'm not quite sure which one. There are other versions of Stax floating about, in my example below I was importing A which imported B which imported C & D which each (through yet more transitive dependencies) imported different versions of Stax. So in my dependency on 'A', I excluded both versions of Stax.

Set the default password in the .pgpass file. If the server does not save the password, it is because it is not set in the .pgpass file, or the permissions are open and the file is therefore ignored.

Also, be sure to check the permissions: on *nix systems the permissions on .pgpass must disallow any access to world or group; achieve this by the command chmod 0600 ~/.pgpass. If the permissions are less strict than this, the file will be ignored.

Have you tried logging-in using PGAdmin? You can save the password there, and modify the pgpass file.

Use sed's substitution: sed 's/"//g'

s/X/Y/ replaces X with Y.

g means all occurrences should be replaced, not just the first one.

To further clarify the other answer here:

Under the current version of virtualenv, the --no-site-packages flag is the default behavior, so you don't need to specify it. However, you are overriding the default by explicitly using the --system-site-packages flag, and that's probably not what you want. The default behavior (without specifying either flag) is to create the virtual environment such that when you are using it, any Python packages installed outside the environment are not accessible. That's typically the right choice because it best isolates the virtual environment from your local computer environment. Python packages installed within the environment will not affect your local computer and vice versa.

Secondly, to use a virtual environment after it's been created, you need to navigate into the virtual environment directory and then run:

bin/activate

What this does is to configure environment variables so that Python packages and any executables in the virtual environment's bin folders will be used before those in the standard locations on your local computer. So, for example, when you type "pip", the version of pip that is inside your virtual environment will run instead of the version of pip on your local machine. This is desirable because pip inside the virtual environment will install packages inside the virtual environment.

The problem you are having is because you are running programs (like ipython) from your local machine, when you instead want to install and run copies of those programs isolated inside your virtual environment. You set this up by creating the environment (without specifying any site-packages flags if you are using the current version), running the activate script mentioned above, then running pip to install any packages you need (which will go inside the environment).

Contrary to popular belief in the existing answers, each Simplexml element node can be removed from the document just by itself and unset(). The point in case is just that you need to understand how SimpleXML actually works.

First locate the element you want to remove:

Then remove the element represented in $element you unset its self-reference:

This works because the first element of any element is the element itself in Simplexml (self-reference). This has to do with its magic nature, numeric indices are representing the elements in any list (e.g. parent->children), and even the single child is such a list.

Non-numeric string indices represent attributes (in array-access) or child-element(s) (in property-access).

Therefore numeric indecies in property-access like:

work as well.

Notepad++ comes equipped with a Edit -> Column "Alt+C" Editor which can work on a rectangular selection in two different ways: Coledit.png inserting some fixed text on every line including and following the current line, at the column of the insertion point (aka caret). Initially selected text is left untouched. As the picture illustrates, a linear series of numbers can be inserted in the same manner. The starting value and increment are to be provided. Left padding with zeroes is an option, and the number may be entered in base 2, 8, 10 or 16 - this is how the computed values will be displayed too, padding being based on the largest.

It is a security risk to have max_allowed_packet at higher value, as an attacker can push bigger sized packets and crash the system.

So, Optimum Value of max_allowed_packet to be tuned and tested.

It is to better to change when required (using set global max_allowed_packet = xxx) than to have it as part of my.ini or my.conf.

create a new java project in Eclipse and copy .java files to its src directory, if you don't know where those source files should be placed, right click on the root of the project and choose new->class to create a test class and see where its .java file is placed, then put other files with it, in the same directory, you may have to adjust the package in those source files according to the new project directory structure.

if you use external libraries in your code, you have two options: either copy / download jar files or use maven if you use maven you'll have to create the project at maven project in the first place, creating java projects as maven projects are the way to go anyway but that's for another post...

Apple are not playing nice with Wi-Fi Direct, not in the same way that Android is. The Multipeer Connectivity Framework that Apple provides combines both BLE and WiFi Direct together and will only work with Apple devices and not any device that is using Wi-Fi Direct.

This seems a very old question, but I am providing an answer, so that it might help others. You can specify the variables in the second screen in the form section, as shown below or in the RAW format by appending the variables as shown in the second image.

Try the following, I put it together using Update 2 from another answer with high votes, and it worked perfectly for me:

They have slightly different purposes.

• exec() is for calling a system command, and perhaps dealing with the output yourself.
• system() is for executing a system command and immediately displaying the output - presumably text.
• passthru() is for executing a system command which you wish the raw return from - presumably something binary.

Regardless, I suggest you not use any of them. They all produce highly unportable code.

A simple return statement will 'stop' or return the function; in precise terms, it 'returns' function execution to the point at which the function was called - the function is terminated without further action.

That means you could have a number of places throughout your function where it might return. Like this:

The werkzeug debugger already has an 'auto reload' function available that can be enabled by doing one of the following:

app.run(debug=True)

or

app.debug = True

You can also use a separate configuration file to manage all your setup if you need be. For example I use 'settings.py' with a 'DEBUG = True' option. Importing this file is easy too;

app.config.from_object('application.settings')

However this is not suitable for a production environment.

Production environment

Personally I chose Nginx + uWSGI over Apache + mod_wsgi for a few performance reasons but also the configuration options. The touch-reload option allows you to specify a file/folder that will cause the uWSGI application to reload your newly deployed flask app.

For example, your update script pulls your newest changes down and touches 'reload_me.txt' file. Your uWSGI ini script (which is kept up by Supervisord - obviously) has this line in it somewhere:

touch-reload = '/opt/virtual_environments/application/reload_me.txt'

Those who are facing this problem: Don't panic.

Short answer:

Restart your router, and this problem will be fixed. (But if your restart button is not working, you need to do a nine-step process to do the restart. Hitting the restart button is just one of them.)

Long answer: Let's learn how to restart the router.

1. Set your PC's IP address: 192.168.1.2 and subnetmask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1
2. Power off the router
3. Disconnect the WAN cable
4. Only connect your PC Ethernet cable to ETH0
5. Power on the router
6. Wait for the router to start the boot sequence (SYS LED starts blinking)
7. When the SYS LED is blinking, hit the restart button (the SYS LED will be blinking at a faster rate means your router is in failsafe mode). (You have to hit the button before the router boots.)

9. Run these commands:

As I understand it, you want the server be able to send messages through from client 1 to client 2. You cannot directly connect two clients because one of the two ends of a WebSocket connection needs to be a server.

Guzzle implements PSR-7. That means that it will by default store the body of a message in a Stream that uses PHP temp streams. To retrieve all the data, you can use casting operator:

I'm probably a bit late to the party, but I wrote the junitcategorizer for my thesis project at TOPdesk. Earlier versions indeed used a company internal Parent POM. So your problems are caused by the Parent POM not being resolvable, since it is not available to the outside world.

You can either:

• Remove the <parent> block, but then have to configure the Surefire, Compiler and other plugins yourself
• (Only applicable to this specific case!) Change it to point to our Open Source Parent POM by setting:

You may get this error when your log4j.properties are not present in the classpath.

Bash is kind of an ugly language. Yes, you can assign the output to variable

But better hope your hardest that find only returned one result and that that result didn't have any "odd" characters in it, like carriage returns or line feeds, as they will be silently modified when assigned to a Bash variable.

But better be careful to quote your variable correctly when using it!

It's better to act on the file directly, e.g. with find's -execdir (consult the manual).

In my case I was committing transaction when persist method was used. On changing persist to save method , it got resolved.

Just remember, if the field you want to make nullable is part of a primary key, you can't. Primary Keys cannot have null fields.

This error message may also happen when the data contains NAs.

In this case, the behaviour depends on the defaults (see documentation), and maybe all cases with NA's in the columns mentioned in the variables are silently dropped. So it may be that a factor does indeed have several outcomes, but the factor only has one outcome when restricting to the cases without NA's.

In this case, to fix the error, either change the model (remove the problematic factor from the formula), or change the data (i.e. complete the cases).

By disabling the SHA-1 hash, the local SQL Server was not able to be reached anymore, even though I didn't use an encrypted connection (not useful for an ASP.Net site accessing a local SQL Express instance using shared memory).

So, lesson learned: do not disable SHA-1 on your IIS server if you have a local SQL Server instance.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this random problem in Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise.

I tried every solution here, and it didn't work, including the Visual Studio repair (which takes a while). Several hours in, I thought maybe I should actually check the ActivityLog.xml file.

I uninstalled the offending extension from the 'Developer Command Prompt for VS2017' as an administrator since Visual Studio just freezed after open and nothing could be clicked.

1. Find the vsix file you used to install the extension.
2. Open it in your favorite archiver (mine is 7-Zip).
3. Grab the extension's Id from the Identity node from the extension.vsixmanifest.
4. Run (in my case) vsixinstaller /u:Microsoft.VisualStudio.LiveShare to remove the extension.

With 500k documents, there is no reason to scale whatsoever. A typical laptop with an SSD and 8GB of ram can easily do 10s of millions of records, so if you are trying to pick because of scaling your choice doesn't really matter. I would suggest you pick what you like the most, and perhaps where you can find the most online support with.

@PathVariable is used to tell Spring that part of the URI path is a value you want passed to your method. Is this what you want, or are the variables supposed to be form data posted to the URI?

If you want form data, use @RequestParam instead of @PathVariable.

I would say Ruby is slow because not much effort has been spent in making the interpreter faster. Same applies to Python.
